Commander Gabriel Edwards, a decorated 20-year Navy pilot and commanding officer of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 5, is confirmed missing after his MH-60S Sea Hawk made an emergency water landing in the Arabian Sea. Though three crew members were rescued, the search for Edwards was called off after 102 hours across 14,000 square miles. The Navy says no hostile action is suspected.
