- 0:38Speaker 1: You know who's gonna find out if Judge Gino knows
- 0:40Speaker 1: if you have the pedal or not, and if you
- 0:43Speaker 1: play your cousin to go get you some drugs while
- 0:46Speaker 1: you're in jail.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I don't know, man, A lot of stuff I was.

- 1:10Speaker 1: exactly right. We do some special guests, Dan, how do
- 1:12Speaker 1: you want to introduce.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Our special guest.
- 1:14Speaker 2: We've got three extra panelists today.
- 1:17Speaker 1: This is excited chamber, and they'll be able to ask
- 1:19Speaker 1: us questions as we explain.
- 1:20Speaker 5: Our case list. I think we could change the name,
- 1:22Speaker 5: based upon the panelists to hot bench and hot Bench.
- 1:26Speaker 5: You Rascal yea hot bench. First up on the hot bench,
- 1:30Speaker 5: he's known for his spoken word Christmas Wrath colums. You
- 1:33Speaker 5: can find at least one on Spotify from what I understand,
- 1:36Speaker 5: only one the bumps on Twitch it's Ryan Popoloyd. Next up,
- 1:45Speaker 5: we have Canadians Finest, Canada's fins.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Wouldn't that Canada's finest, Yeah is Canadian Dry? Canadian Dry,
- 1:53Speaker 1: Canada's finest. Antonio k One.
- 1:59Speaker 5: And last but not, we have the One, the Only,
- 2:01Speaker 5: the Man, the myth legend, mister Neil Bledsoe.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Now, oh, I don't know if your MIC's on? Can
- 2:08Speaker 3: you look at your micro ya? Look at your micro quick? Neil?
- 2:11Speaker 7: Oh?
- 2:11Speaker 3: Is it green? There's a back button? There's a button
- 2:16Speaker 3: on the back.
- 2:17Speaker 8: Whatever I should say. I'm here in my capacity as
- 2:23Speaker 8: a lawyer. So it's Neil Bledsoe esquire.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Yes, right, fantastic, fantasticastic.
- 2:28Speaker 5: Now, Neil, you're gonna explain how yo gavel gavel works
- 2:30Speaker 5: at this point, so go.
- 2:31Speaker 9: Ahead of course I will.
- 2:32Speaker 8: So the way your gavel gavel works is Dan presents
- 2:36Speaker 8: some sort of case that he's watched maybe five or
- 2:38Speaker 8: six years ago under the haze.
- 2:39Speaker 9: Of cough Syrup.
- 2:42Speaker 8: We all try to suss out exactly what he means
- 2:45Speaker 8: through his ramblings and see if he needs therapy.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I love it.
- 2:49Speaker 5: A lot of that is accurate. I did watch this.
- 2:52Speaker 5: I did watch this at twelve forty five am this morning.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Cough Syrup may have been involved, so he's not far off. Yes, yeah,
- 3:00Speaker 5: but you will tell a case.
- 3:02Speaker 1: We'll try to figure out what happens and give our
- 3:04Speaker 1: thoughts on what the verdict is, and then I'll do
- 3:06Speaker 1: the exact same thing, clip it and reverse it. Dan,
- 3:09Speaker 1: you went to personal injury court and on a vastly
- 3:12Speaker 1: unknown court show.
- 3:14Speaker 3: But the money is bonker.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Third, like most people are suing for seven hundred and
- 3:19Speaker 5: fifty dollars and like their cat's hair got singed off.
- 3:21Speaker 5: But it like at personal injury court, it's like hundreds
- 3:26Speaker 5: of thousands of dollars, sometimes millions, sometimes millions. That's exactly right.
- 3:30Speaker 5: You want me to go ahead?
- 3:31Speaker 3: I would love you too.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Uh.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Paula Walsh is suing Mike Waters at Derreck Montgomery for
- 3:37Speaker 5: fifty thousand dollars of past medical bills, twenty five thousand
- 3:42Speaker 5: dollars of future medical bills, and two hundred and twenty
- 3:46Speaker 5: five thousand dollars of pain and suffering, for a total
- 3:50Speaker 5: of three hundred thousand dollars. A good numbers and as
- 3:55Speaker 5: Judge Gino says, at this point, let's get in.
- 3:58Speaker 2: To the legal saw, the legal sauce. That's exactly right.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Nothing says professional judge like legal sauce. Paula Law says, Listen,
- 4:08Speaker 5: I'm a florist. She's got a very nice she's red hair,
- 4:12Speaker 5: got a very nice haircut, and she's very proper. Probably
- 4:15Speaker 5: in her forties would be my guest. I'm a florist.
- 4:17Speaker 5: I ride a scooter to work every day. Now I
- 4:20Speaker 5: believe is this me? I believe it is one of those.
- 4:26Speaker 2: E scooters where it does all the work similar to
- 4:28Speaker 2: your bike.
- 4:29Speaker 3: No, and now there's a you have.
- 4:32Speaker 10: There's a big defer.
- 4:33Speaker 5: That's a pedal, like you have to turn on that
- 4:34Speaker 5: light switch. And I have said that before.
- 4:36Speaker 1: On the scooter you don't have to do anything. I
- 4:38Speaker 1: will give to pedal is what you have to do.
- 4:41Speaker 1: That's exactly right.
- 4:42Speaker 5: So she's like, listen, I know I live in a
- 4:44Speaker 5: college town, and I know sometimes that town can get
- 4:47Speaker 5: a little rowdy, but I make people smile with my creations.
- 4:51Speaker 5: I don't know if she's been to the Botanic Cup yet,
- 4:54Speaker 5: but but she is. She is a professional flower decorator.
- 4:58Speaker 1: That is her job.
- 4:58Speaker 5: And she's like, I get it the a while, but
- 5:00Speaker 5: I love it here and I want to be here.
- 5:02Speaker 5: So let's go over to the two trends in the room.
- 5:05Speaker 5: They it's Mike and Derek, but think of two frat guys.
- 5:08Speaker 5: They are sophomores in college. They have worn what they
- 5:12Speaker 5: consider their best suit. And they begin to talk and
- 5:17Speaker 5: they're like, listen, it was prank week. I don't know
- 5:22Speaker 5: what to tell you. It was prank week. And Gino's like,
- 5:24Speaker 5: what does that mean. They're like, well, it's spirit week
- 5:26Speaker 5: and we do a lot of great things for charities,
- 5:28Speaker 5: but we also play harmless pranks all week long.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Play hard, work hard, yeah, work hard, work hard. It's
- 5:34Speaker 1: all about what we do here. They name their school
- 5:37Speaker 1: it's like Hamrick School. I've never heard of the school.
- 5:39Speaker 5: I don't even where it is, but it's real from
- 5:41Speaker 5: what I understand, does somebody know where it is?
- 5:44Speaker 2: Any Hamrick stands in here?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Where is Yeah?
- 5:48Speaker 2: Of course you do.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You did some work there. You started the prank warp,
- 5:52Speaker 1: didn't you.
- 5:53Speaker 9: Yeah, well it was harmless.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Yeah, had started armless. So he's like, so what normally
- 5:58Speaker 5: do you do? They have brought him pictures proudly of
- 6:01Speaker 5: the pranks that they've done. It's classic tpeeing of the
- 6:04Speaker 5: the trees. There's egg throwing contests. Oh no, not Hamrick Hickman.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Oman, I went to Hickman Hickman alums.
- 6:16Speaker 5: You can refund out front. Sheila's got in a care package.
- 6:19Speaker 5: It's a refund care package. You're gonna love it. It's fantastic.
- 6:23Speaker 9: Guys gonna say. Hamrick's at prison.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's where these two are heading.
- 6:30Speaker 5: So Paula Walsh is like, okay, so I'm riding through
- 6:33Speaker 5: this college town as I do every morning on my scooter,
- 6:36Speaker 5: and out of nowhere I hit a plastic wall, just
- 6:40Speaker 5: a wall.
- 6:41Speaker 9: And.
- 6:42Speaker 3: What do you mean out of nowhere?
- 6:44Speaker 2: Said, I didn't see it. It catches me.
- 6:46Speaker 1: It's a plastic wall. Did it dropped down? It's saran
- 6:51Speaker 1: that they've she that's right, it's just locker room talking.
- 7:03Speaker 5: Uh So, she's like, I hit this and it catches
- 7:06Speaker 5: me and then it flings me out back.
- 7:08Speaker 10: Through the air, and she.
- 7:12Speaker 3: How far did flinger?
- 7:13Speaker 2: We don't know.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Uh the plasma is pretty useless in this case, but
- 7:17Speaker 5: we'll get to it anyway.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Don't worry.
- 7:18Speaker 5: There's a great cartoon coming. Don't worry, aboudy, there's a cartoon.
- 7:21Speaker 5: And she's like, it was invisible. I couldn't I couldn't
- 7:25Speaker 5: see it. I was on the ground. These two gentlemen
- 7:29Speaker 5: do run over and they they picked me up, and
- 7:32Speaker 5: they explained they were trying to do a prank on
- 7:35Speaker 5: one of their classmates and they're ready for him that
- 7:37Speaker 5: he goes running. They were ready for him to run by,
- 7:39Speaker 5: and they were really really sorry it happened. And I
- 7:42Speaker 5: just was like, I just want to go home. Let
- 7:44Speaker 5: me go home. So I just went home. I didn't
- 7:46Speaker 5: talk to him about the injury. I got my car,
- 7:48Speaker 5: I powered through. I went home, got in a car,
- 7:51Speaker 5: not car. I'm sorry, scooter, my bad. I just assumed
- 7:54Speaker 5: she drove a car for some dumb reason. I parked
- 7:56Speaker 5: my car right by the prank, rolled up into it.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Uh So, over the next month. She says, over the
- 8:04Speaker 5: next month, she said, I started to have more and
- 8:06Speaker 5: more pain in my midsection. I go and I have
- 8:09Speaker 5: a herniated disc that's gonna require surgery and it's gonna
- 8:14Speaker 5: require nine to twelve months where I can't lift anything heavy.
- 8:17Speaker 5: And then she proceeds to show all these pictures of
- 8:19Speaker 5: all these ginormous potted plants and that's part of her job,
- 8:23Speaker 5: and Judge Gino is very sympathetic. He's like, I don't
- 8:26Speaker 5: know if I could lift those pots. You know, he's
- 8:28Speaker 5: doing a full like I don't know if our bailiff
- 8:30Speaker 5: could lift those pods the power team couldn't lift like
- 8:32Speaker 5: he's very much like he very much just like I
- 8:35Speaker 5: don't know got your You're a superwoman. Like that's basically
- 8:39Speaker 5: what he's saying. And so she's like she starts to
- 8:41Speaker 5: like try to conjure some tears. It doesn't work, but
- 8:44Speaker 5: she tries, and then she's like, I'm really really sorry.
- 8:46Speaker 5: So he goes back over to Mike and Derrick, Trent
- 8:48Speaker 5: and Trent whatever you want to call him, and they're like, listen, listen.
- 8:51Speaker 5: First of all, we wrap the plastics so you.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Can't see it. If you're looking. First of all, you
- 8:56Speaker 2: need to know that.
- 8:57Speaker 1: But we go all the wrapped the plastic, seek and
- 9:01Speaker 1: see it if you're.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Looking, but wait for it, they go.
- 9:04Speaker 1: But we try to do it near nighttime so there's
- 9:06Speaker 1: low visibility. And I need to that.
- 9:11Speaker 5: These guys are probably more proud of what they've done
- 9:15Speaker 5: than than upsets. But before you jump to any conclusion,
- 9:22Speaker 5: there is there's a twist coming and you need to
- 9:24Speaker 5: understand that right now. And they're like, listen, we've done
- 9:27Speaker 5: this a bunch. We've done it every year. There's a
- 9:30Speaker 5: tree at our frat house. We connect it to the
- 9:32Speaker 5: stop sign across the sidewalk. People run hammer into the thing.
- 9:36Speaker 5: It's always a frat dude. We laugh about it. We
- 9:39Speaker 5: get it on video. It's big fun. Do we get
- 9:41Speaker 5: any idea?
- 9:42Speaker 1: We don't.
- 9:42Speaker 5: It's maybe even Six's exactly right. It's harmless. It's harmless.
- 9:47Speaker 5: It's funny, like we're just we're doing this thing. People
- 9:50Speaker 5: understand it's prank week.
- 9:51Speaker 1: They know to look out for this, and all all
- 9:54Speaker 1: of a sudden, you're walking around at night.
- 9:56Speaker 2: That's right, like by a spider.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Yeah, So basically they're like, listen, she comes speeding around
- 10:08Speaker 5: the corner.
- 10:09Speaker 2: She's just flying on this scooter because it's an e
- 10:11Speaker 2: scooter where the motor does all the work.
- 10:13Speaker 5: And and she comes flying around the corner and she
- 10:17Speaker 5: hits this thing and falls over. We rush over. She's fine,
- 10:21Speaker 5: She tells us she's fine. We talked to her. She
- 10:24Speaker 5: was frustrated she got knocked over. She we asked her
- 10:27Speaker 5: she was in pain. She didn't say she was in
- 10:30Speaker 5: pain at all. And then Gina's like, let's go over
- 10:31Speaker 5: to the plasma. If you've never seen Personal Injury Court,
- 10:34Speaker 5: there's a.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Plasma screen which they brag about, which is like technology
- 10:39Speaker 1: from a decade ago. And they go on this plasma
- 10:43Speaker 1: and they've recreated the sidewalk and they basically just have
- 10:46Speaker 1: an animation of her riding into the thing and following her.
- 10:49Speaker 1: It's like, you made it on like Microsoft paint. Yeah, yeah,
- 10:53Speaker 1: Neil did it with sound effects better than the plasma
- 10:57Speaker 1: if you can believe it. Yeah, I was good. Were
- 11:11Speaker 1: you there? Did you set up the plastic Brad? Was
- 11:15Speaker 1: that you?
- 11:17Speaker 9: Once again?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 11:20Speaker 2: Yeah, And they.
- 11:20Speaker 5: Basically say, listen, she look she was fine. We asked
- 11:23Speaker 5: her a hundred times. We apologize. Wasn't meant for her
- 11:26Speaker 5: blah blah blah. Paul Is like, listen, they were absolutely
- 11:29Speaker 5: very nice when they helped me up. I just I
- 11:32Speaker 5: was like stunned, and I told him to be careful
- 11:35Speaker 5: or somebody was gonna get hurt. And and Mike and
- 11:38Speaker 5: Derek are like, look, we asked her over and over again.
- 11:41Speaker 5: We were like, what can we do for you? Can
- 11:43Speaker 5: we call somebody? And then she was like no, and
- 11:47Speaker 5: asked for a selfie with them, and we have the selfies.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Oh no, and my girl.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Is stunting in these selfies. She's got the like she's
- 11:59Speaker 5: doing the the chin thing, the whole like she is
- 12:02Speaker 5: in the selfie. She's smiling, she's posing.
- 12:05Speaker 3: She asked for a selfie.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yeah, well, they said, well she took a selfie with us.
- 12:10Speaker 9: Do we have the selphie? Yeah?
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, Well I don't think we have a spree.
- 12:15Speaker 5: Oh yeah you guys, yeah, like yeah, get in there.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 12:33Speaker 3: That was.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Classic Paul Walsh. It's like Daniel day Lewis was playing
- 12:38Speaker 1: PAULA Wash.
- 12:40Speaker 2: It's unbelievable.
- 12:45Speaker 1: With a herd. That's right, that's what you get it
- 12:48Speaker 1: you get he walks around k Lifton thing. Yeah.
- 12:51Speaker 5: So uh basically, uh, she's we see the selfies, and
- 12:56Speaker 5: Gino's like, miss Walsh, you gotta help me out here,
- 12:59Speaker 5: what's going on with these selfies? And and Paula's like, listen,
- 13:03Speaker 5: I like I was in shock, and then she tries
- 13:08Speaker 5: to cry again, like lip starts to like I was
- 13:11Speaker 5: in shock. I was in shock, and she's she says that,
- 13:14Speaker 5: and she was like I and then she says.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I forgot this, which is sad. She's like, I don't
- 13:18Speaker 2: remember taking a selfie. I don't remember that. And then
- 13:21Speaker 2: they put it on the screen and there's not one.
- 13:22Speaker 5: There's like two or three takes of the selfie and
- 13:26Speaker 5: she's like, I was in shock.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I don't even remember that that happened. I don't remember
- 13:29Speaker 2: it happening.
- 13:30Speaker 5: And and Mike and Derek are like, look, we've never
- 13:33Speaker 5: had anybody get injured with this, Like uh, we've got
- 13:36Speaker 5: videos of the prank where people are running and they
- 13:39Speaker 5: hit the thing and we see them. Paul's like, look,
- 13:41Speaker 5: I still can't lift anything heavy, not for almost a year.
- 13:44Speaker 5: It extremely hampers my ability to work. I've lost all
- 13:47Speaker 5: these clients. And Gina's like, do you guys at least
- 13:50Speaker 5: see how your prank has gone wrong.
- 13:52Speaker 1: This classic Geno man would at least be every episode.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Gina's like, can you see that someone's hurt? And do
- 13:58Speaker 1: I have any remorse?
- 14:00Speaker 5: I can Dereck her like immediately, I believe it's Derek
- 14:02Speaker 5: classic Arras so they love the exact same like that,
- 14:06Speaker 5: he says, your honor, she didn't feel pain for a month.
- 14:10Speaker 2: She reported nothing for a month.
- 14:12Speaker 5: That's more than a little strange, right, she took selfies
- 14:14Speaker 5: with us, didn't report pain for a month. So Gino
- 14:17Speaker 5: brings on an orthopedic surgeon. Does he ask this orthopedic
- 14:20Speaker 5: surgeon if you would not feel pain for a month.
- 14:23Speaker 1: No, he does not.
- 14:26Speaker 5: And I'm not a lawyer, but Whitney could maybe help
- 14:28Speaker 5: me out here. If that was the.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Question, you would think that the pro would be able
- 14:32Speaker 2: to answer it. She doesn't. She talks about the surgery
- 14:34Speaker 2: of herniated disk.
- 14:35Speaker 5: She says it would keep her from doing her job
- 14:38Speaker 5: for at least twelve months, and then she's like, do
- 14:41Speaker 5: you see Gina's like, do you see that a prank
- 14:43Speaker 5: change someone's life? And Mike and Dereck are like, well,
- 14:46Speaker 5: your honor, we're really sorry that she was hurt. We're
- 14:49Speaker 5: not sure how hurt she was by her prank. But
- 14:51Speaker 5: also we've got this sign and there is a sign
- 14:54Speaker 5: on the street right by where they do the prank,
- 14:58Speaker 5: and the sign says Frank bigrank. The sign says, uh,
- 15:03Speaker 5: this sidewalk is made for joggers and walkers, not riders.
- 15:11Speaker 10: That's tough.
- 15:12Speaker 1: It says, don't ride on the sidewalk.
- 15:14Speaker 5: And they brought a city ordinance that also says the
- 15:17Speaker 5: same thing.
- 15:18Speaker 1: These guys say what you will about Hendrick University. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:22Speaker 1: And they like the way they look. They guarantee you absolutely.
- 15:26Speaker 5: So they're like, we brought this sign and and Gino's like,
- 15:29Speaker 5: miss Walsh, what look do you know these rules?
- 15:32Speaker 2: She's like, I live here, I know these rules.
- 15:34Speaker 5: But right before this prank happened, I almost got hit
- 15:38Speaker 5: by a car. Oh I rounding the corner, a car
- 15:43Speaker 5: almost hit me. So I jumped onto the sidewalk with
- 15:46Speaker 5: my scooter and took off to get back on the
- 15:49Speaker 5: road in a block.
- 15:51Speaker 1: That is why it happened. I swear to you that's
- 15:54Speaker 1: what's going on.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I've been there.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Judge Gino is ready to rule.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Gonna remind you fifty thousand dollars of past medical twenty
- 16:02Speaker 5: five thousand dollars of future medical two hundred and twenty
- 16:07Speaker 5: five thousand dollars of pain and suffering. What are we thinking?
- 16:13Speaker 5: A lot of zero's in the crowd there. We'll start
- 16:16Speaker 5: over here with Neil.
- 16:18Speaker 9: Is a complicated case. A gosh, I.
- 16:25Speaker 8: Hmm, I think Judge Gino gabers zero but made her pledge.
- 16:35Speaker 1: You're that's Steve Harvey's courtroom is where you are.
- 16:41Speaker 9: Man.
- 16:41Speaker 8: That's tough, all right, So let me let me ask
- 16:43Speaker 8: you a question, all right. So her whole response to this,
- 16:46Speaker 8: you can't write a you can't write a scooter on
- 16:49Speaker 8: the sidewalk things, but a car almost.
- 16:51Speaker 5: Write that's try. Now we have no video of that
- 16:53Speaker 5: at all. We have an animated plasma. That's what I got, right.
- 16:56Speaker 9: But another another question I would have is like they
- 17:00Speaker 9: seem to target other frat guys.
- 17:02Speaker 8: That's their whole defense is like, yeah, we usually target
- 17:05Speaker 8: indestructible idiots. Yeah yeah, it just kind of bounce off
- 17:09Speaker 8: the thing and then bouts back and everybody goes.
- 17:13Speaker 9: And runs away and somehow that's okay.
- 17:16Speaker 8: Yeah, Like what if I don't know, what if there
- 17:18Speaker 8: was like a bubble boy frat boy who was just
- 17:21Speaker 8: kept bouncing for for.
- 17:23Speaker 10: Like to this day, to this day, to this day.
- 17:28Speaker 9: So I don't know.
- 17:29Speaker 8: I'm certain I certainly don't want to encourage this.
- 17:34Speaker 1: It doesn't sound that way.
- 17:38Speaker 5: It sounds like you were all in there, You've got
- 17:41Speaker 5: him on speed dial, you guys are hanging out later.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I'm just I'm a.
- 17:45Speaker 8: Little worried at what's become of my beloved fraternity. I
- 17:50Speaker 8: want them to show a little more responsibility, so I'm.
- 17:54Speaker 9: Gonna let them off with the warning. This time.
- 17:58Speaker 8: I'd say, gosh, I'm giving her, I'm giving well. And
- 18:05Speaker 8: then the final question did she pay anything for medical bills?
- 18:08Speaker 5: She well, the medical bills are fifty k, so she
- 18:11Speaker 5: probably has insurance. But typically I believe how this works
- 18:14Speaker 5: is is that you sue for the cost of the metaph.
- 18:17Speaker 9: Is you sue to pay your interest?
- 18:19Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 18:20Speaker 9: Because they're on your sef.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Correct, great overalls, which should really be up here for this.
- 18:26Speaker 1: That's yes, no wrong.
- 18:29Speaker 7: Does the judge have to award the number requested? Or
- 18:32Speaker 7: can the judge?
- 18:34Speaker 5: The way personal injury court works is is that someone
- 18:37Speaker 5: has to be over fifty percent responsible.
- 18:41Speaker 3: And then he can break it up before finds that.
- 18:43Speaker 5: It's half and half, it's it's nothing, and if it's
- 18:46Speaker 5: anything more than that, then the person suing gets money,
- 18:49Speaker 5: and he can give anywhere from zero to the full amount.
- 18:52Speaker 7: So he could say, I hear you're fifty k. Here's
- 18:54Speaker 7: fifty bucks.
- 18:54Speaker 2: That's right, okay, but it's three hundred k.
- 18:57Speaker 9: Yes, got it.
- 18:59Speaker 8: In final question, it sounds like they also kind of
- 19:01Speaker 8: do this for charity, so they seemingly will like also
- 19:05Speaker 8: pull pranks local orphan.
- 19:09Speaker 5: He did know they wait till somebody get knocked over
- 19:11Speaker 5: and they're like, got him brought to you by the
- 19:13Speaker 5: Boys and Girls Club?
- 19:17Speaker 1: Right?
- 19:17Speaker 8: Uh?
- 19:18Speaker 7: Sponsorship?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Yeah, this toilet paper could have gone to help people
- 19:21Speaker 1: in need.
- 19:24Speaker 3: What do you What do you think?
- 19:25Speaker 8: Man?
- 19:25Speaker 3: What do you think?
- 19:27Speaker 8: Oh gosh, I'm gonna say.
- 19:32Speaker 9: No, I'm gonna say you gave her the full amount
- 19:35Speaker 9: four hundred.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Wait, what's your zero?
- 19:39Speaker 10: Two minutes ago?
- 19:40Speaker 3: How did it happen?
- 19:41Speaker 9: He heard about the charity in the charity Time to change?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Times have change?
- 19:46Speaker 9: Hit with the times.
- 19:47Speaker 8: I know we're five men up here talking about something
- 19:50Speaker 8: that happened to a poor woman from two fraternity guys.
- 19:54Speaker 9: But get with it, even if I'm not on the
- 19:58Speaker 9: right side. Of the case. I'm on the right side
- 19:59Speaker 9: of history.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Three hundred thousand. Fair Antonio.
- 20:04Speaker 7: That thing you said about fifty to fifty gives you
- 20:08Speaker 7: zero feels as though he's gonna end up giving her zero,
- 20:13Speaker 7: even if she maybe deserves something. I just I don't
- 20:16Speaker 7: think the car defense doesn't hold up unless you bring
- 20:19Speaker 7: the driver out. If you said Gina was like, here's
- 20:21Speaker 7: the driver, and then the driver has to come and
- 20:23Speaker 7: then it's a big But that didn't happen, and she's
- 20:26Speaker 7: on her scooter and she knew about the sign. She
- 20:29Speaker 7: copped to saying like she did. I read the sign,
- 20:31Speaker 7: but then there was this crazy thing that happened that
- 20:33Speaker 7: jumped me onto the thing, so it becomes circumstantial and
- 20:37Speaker 7: this ran wrap thing. Was it daytime or nighttime?
- 20:39Speaker 2: It was at dusk, so it was about to be nighttime.
- 20:41Speaker 7: Okay, okay, okay, okay. They were setting her up. But
- 20:43Speaker 7: that's I'm gonna say. Gino's like, tough break. I feel
- 20:48Speaker 7: for you, but you're not getting anything out of the.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I got a three hundred and a zero zero, Gottry.
- 20:55Speaker 11: It's just as good a time as any to mention
- 20:57Speaker 11: that I actually ran into the bramble jam studio door
- 20:59Speaker 11: the other day.
- 21:02Speaker 10: I cannot lift anything.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Spoken word, voice is shocked.
- 21:07Speaker 11: Yeah, I will be suing you two for eight hundred thousands.
- 21:12Speaker 9: Good.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Look, we do have a care package out.
- 21:16Speaker 9: There for you.
- 21:17Speaker 10: I got the Ryan care package.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, the Ryan Paul.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Care package is estimated to be worth eight hundred thou
- 21:24Speaker 2: So that works out.
- 21:25Speaker 11: We'll talk offline and we'll do D three on tickets
- 21:28Speaker 11: to the table.
- 21:29Speaker 10: Yeah. Yeah, yeah. It's fifty thousand dollars in option, just
- 21:36Speaker 10: the medical bills. I don't understand anything about it. From
- 21:38Speaker 10: zero to three, I'm going to say.
- 21:40Speaker 5: I'm going to say fifty k past medical only.
- 21:43Speaker 10: Final answer, final answer. Thank you, Dan, thank you.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Thank you, Ryan, thank you, thank you, Bri, thank you, guys.
- 21:49Speaker 10: Thank you both, actually, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank.
- 21:52Speaker 2: You, thank you, thank you.
- 21:54Speaker 1: All right, go ahead, Bran fun because I do think
- 21:58Speaker 1: they should have to pay I just don't know if
- 22:01Speaker 1: they should have to pay her.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Right because there was a charity, charity, he should go
- 22:12Speaker 3: to charity. Because here's the thing. What they did is wrong, right,
- 22:17Speaker 3: So you can't do that.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Even if you can see it it is dusk, you
- 22:20Speaker 1: can't see it at dusk. But there is the sign.
- 22:24Speaker 1: This is no scooters on the sidewalk. If you're on
- 22:27Speaker 1: the sidewalk on your scooter, it's the you're you're taking
- 22:30Speaker 1: on anything.
- 22:31Speaker 3: That happens there. So when I ride my scooter on
- 22:34Speaker 3: the sidewalks.
- 22:35Speaker 10: You ride your bike.
- 22:37Speaker 8: If they had laid like a booby trapped for them,
- 22:39Speaker 8: it's like, hey, sorry.
- 22:41Speaker 1: But that's the that's a tough thing. It's like, how
- 22:44Speaker 1: much does ignoring the sign. It's not like it's a
- 22:48Speaker 1: it's natural causes. It's not like the there's a there's
- 22:51Speaker 1: a crack in the sidewalk and.
- 22:53Speaker 3: You trip over that and you're done, so that nothing matter.
- 22:56Speaker 3: They are they are.
- 23:01Speaker 5: Now you go back out to the farm where you
- 23:02Speaker 5: grow all the concrete.
- 23:05Speaker 1: No, the ground below the sidewalk is shifting and then
- 23:08Speaker 1: a crass Okay, all right, come on, dumb, dumb.
- 23:12Speaker 3: So I do I actually agree with Ryan. I think
- 23:15Speaker 3: she's gonna get past medical.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I think even though she was on a sidewalk when
- 23:20Speaker 1: she shouldn't have, there's it's not like this. They did this,
- 23:25Speaker 1: They did it. They should pay something. And so I'll
- 23:27Speaker 1: give her fifty thousand, all right.
- 23:30Speaker 5: So as judge Gino is one to do. I he
- 23:33Speaker 5: gives a verdict that I disagree with wholeheartedly. It's almost
- 23:36Speaker 5: every time I disagree with him. He looks at Derek
- 23:40Speaker 5: and Mike or whatever their names are. He says, uh,
- 23:44Speaker 5: so you have to be at least fifty percent at
- 23:47Speaker 5: faults you got in order for it to be zero,
- 23:51Speaker 5: and any more than that is is wife to award money.
- 23:57Speaker 5: So he looks at Mike and he says, I I
- 24:01Speaker 5: believe that you were fifty percent at fault. But then
- 24:03Speaker 5: he looks at Derek and he says, I also believe
- 24:05Speaker 5: you were fifty percent, and that's one hundred percent.
- 24:10Speaker 3: That's not how.
- 24:11Speaker 6: That works, That's what he says, and he gives so wait,
- 24:18Speaker 6: take a selfie, fake tears, fake car, gives her three
- 24:23Speaker 6: hundred thousand dollars right side of history.
- 24:28Speaker 7: That mass is ridiculous.
- 24:30Speaker 5: And I honestly think Judge Gino was thinking what Neil
- 24:34Speaker 5: was saying, which is these two turt bags gotta pay
- 24:38Speaker 5: and I'm not gonna get it wrong.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Wow, but he got it.
- 24:41Speaker 5: Wrong because she is over there in selfies and like
- 24:45Speaker 5: she shouldn't have been. She's been doing this for forever
- 24:47Speaker 5: and she Rogers scoot on that sidewalk every day.
- 24:49Speaker 1: You just know it. But that's not how blame was
- 24:52Speaker 1: how it works at all. But he she's still ignored
- 24:56Speaker 1: the son, that's right. She is some at fault. Yeah, yeah, nope,
- 25:01Speaker 1: but we already did the fifty to fifty's zero percent left.
- 25:03Speaker 7: I know you want to know.
- 25:06Speaker 2: You can't do anything about that, dude.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Well that was wild. That was wild.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Do you guys want to head over to Judge Jerry
- 25:16Speaker 1: Springer's court rest of obviously? Erry, Jerry, Jerry, Jerry. I
- 25:22Speaker 1: want to introduce you to Tyson Trotter, who is suing
- 25:26Speaker 1: his cousin, first cousin, Michael Pope for one hundred dollars.
- 25:30Speaker 10: Like w W E names? Do I work with these people?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Look at the stage. Tyson Trott cousin Michael Pope. All right,
- 25:42Speaker 1: he's sued for a one hundred, one hundred dollars total.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Does Jerry just like a hand him a hounda I'm
- 25:48Speaker 1: ready to rule?
- 25:49Speaker 3: Yeah? All right, you know I want to go watch Dateline.
- 25:52Speaker 9: Here's a hundred bucks.
- 25:53Speaker 1: So Tyson Trotter comes rolling into the courtroom on roller skapes.
- 26:00Speaker 3: And he might be wondering why we'll get to it.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I guess he said that he loaned his first cousin, Michael,
- 26:09Speaker 1: one hundred dollars.
- 26:11Speaker 7: I thought you were gonna say his shoes.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Nope, one hundred dollars.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So he explains, He explains, we're close.
- 26:20Speaker 9: You know, we're first cousins.
- 26:21Speaker 1: We grew up in the same house, Judge Jerry, in
- 26:25Speaker 1: the same house. We were in the same house. They say,
- 26:28Speaker 1: same house one hundred times.
- 26:31Speaker 5: We're under fifty five, over times, over a lot of times.
- 26:36Speaker 1: And uh, he says, I learned to skates at Michael's
- 26:40Speaker 1: house because we grew up in the same house. Yeah,
- 26:43Speaker 1: And so then he and Jerry's like, you're wearing your
- 26:45Speaker 1: skates and he's like, yeah, wearing my skates. And he
- 26:47Speaker 1: comes in and he shows off his skills and Judge
- 26:50Speaker 1: Jerry says, that is amazing. He's why he's doing trick.
- 26:54Speaker 1: He's a triple ax car.
- 26:55Speaker 3: No, he's just rolling around, Judge.
- 26:59Speaker 10: Even during all of these proceedings, he's just rolling around.
- 27:01Speaker 1: He's just rolling around, just around. Judge Jerry says, what
- 27:05Speaker 1: he says, this is great. Why why why are you
- 27:09Speaker 1: wearing these? And Dyson just says, because Michael taught me.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Wow, So I thought now's a good time. Tyson says,
- 27:18Speaker 1: I'm I'm sorry. Judge Jerry to that says, I'm glad
- 27:20Speaker 1: he didn't teach you to horseback ride, which I thought
- 27:23Speaker 1: was a good joke. Judge j Jerry says, yeah, so
- 27:31Speaker 1: he says that. Michael says, Okay, it's true.
- 27:35Speaker 3: I did.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I did ask for one hundred dollars to buy cigarettes
- 27:40Speaker 1: and sell them for profit. So Michael, Michael explains, I
- 27:47Speaker 1: go down to North Carolina, I buy a carton of
- 27:51Speaker 1: cigarettes for cheap.
- 27:53Speaker 2: North Carolina's in the house by the way. He goes
- 27:55Speaker 2: all the way down to buys one carton.
- 27:56Speaker 1: I'm sorry, what's a big old yeah case, right case,
- 28:00Speaker 1: one hundred dollars worth of ciggies and North ConA goes
- 28:04Speaker 1: up to Chicago and sells them for double yeah.
- 28:09Speaker 10: Is there a cigarette shortage in Chicago?
- 28:12Speaker 9: No?
- 28:12Speaker 1: No, No, it's the tax.
- 28:13Speaker 5: The tax in South Toronto cigarettes is so low. It's
- 28:16Speaker 5: the lowest I think in the country in South Carolina
- 28:18Speaker 5: for cigarettes. If you are any.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Smoker, are you you know a lot my sister I
- 28:24Speaker 1: heard my sister in law used to come in from
- 28:27Speaker 1: New York and just filler suitcase up with cigarettes wild.
- 28:31Speaker 9: I'm I'm having a lot of trouble following.
- 28:36Speaker 1: So my problem. Let me He goes to North Carolina
- 28:40Speaker 1: to make one hundred dollars.
- 28:41Speaker 3: He's he was, Yeah, it's gonna, Yes, he's gonna make
- 28:45Speaker 3: one hundred.
- 28:45Speaker 10: Dollars make that's why I'm here this weekend.
- 28:49Speaker 5: Yeah, real quickws one hundred to make two hundred, he's
- 28:52Speaker 5: net one hundred. He's gonna he's gonna go from Chicago
- 28:55Speaker 5: to North Carolina to make one hundred dollars.
- 28:59Speaker 9: One more big school.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Out of the game for good, just to catch you
- 29:06Speaker 1: up to speed, just so you have all the characters.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Tyson roller scapes because.
- 29:10Speaker 1: He grew up with Michael, Michael Totdham Michael same as Tyson.
- 29:15Speaker 3: For one hundred dollars.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Michael goes down to North Carolina, comes back up, sells
- 29:21Speaker 1: the cigarettes for double He now has two hundred dollars.
- 29:24Speaker 9: Got it?
- 29:24Speaker 8: And Tyson doesn't drive because he's always wearing, so he
- 29:30Speaker 8: seems like, where's my money.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Tyson's saying where my mind? Judge Jerry says, well, why
- 29:35Speaker 3: haven't you paid him back yet? And that's this point.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Michael yells, I don't owe him money.
- 29:41Speaker 3: He owes me.
- 29:44Speaker 1: And you're like, why twist juicy and he says I
- 29:51Speaker 1: did something for him. Okay, all right, and Tyson and
- 29:55Speaker 1: Judge Jerry's court says, I object, which I love hes
- 30:01Speaker 1: roller around eye of jets. First, I have jets. Jerry
- 30:10Speaker 1: over rules, Michael says, go to exhibit A. Exhibit A
- 30:17Speaker 1: is a letter from Michael's sister that says that my
- 30:23Speaker 1: brother Michael called me from jail asking me to take
- 30:30Speaker 1: cousin Tyson to his drug hookup.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Just just to put this into perspective here, so there's
- 30:38Speaker 3: a letter, okay, in the courtroom. It's a witness statement.
- 30:42Speaker 10: Michael's sister.
- 30:42Speaker 1: My Michael's sister says, hey entered into Michael. Michael's not
- 30:48Speaker 1: on the road, Michael. Michael's a defendant. He's the one
- 30:51Speaker 1: getting suit for end Rose. Michael sister says, when Michael
- 30:55Speaker 1: was in jail, which we don't get any more information
- 30:57Speaker 1: about that, don't. Of course, when Michael was in jail,
- 31:00Speaker 1: he called me and said, hey, can you take cousin
- 31:03Speaker 1: Tyson to his drug hookup.
- 31:06Speaker 3: I don't know why he's the one calling. I don't
- 31:09Speaker 3: know why Tyson's not asking.
- 31:10Speaker 5: Michael said on a phone line in jail, can you
- 31:13Speaker 5: take someone to their drug yes?
- 31:15Speaker 7: Or to his drug hookup? He's like, can you take
- 31:18Speaker 7: Tyson to Michael drug?
- 31:19Speaker 1: He said, just take him to the take to our
- 31:22Speaker 1: collective drug cook up. I don't know.
- 31:24Speaker 10: I don't know why.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Tyson's not just asking. Michael is asking on Tyson's behalf.
- 31:30Speaker 7: Is the drug hookup their second cousin or the third.
- 31:32Speaker 3: It's hard to say. It's hard to say.
- 31:34Speaker 1: So Michael was bunking with Cody Frizz, so she takes
- 31:38Speaker 1: him to buy the drugs, and Tyson was to pay.
- 31:44Speaker 1: The arrangement was Tyson will pay Michael one hundred dollars
- 31:49Speaker 1: if Michael can arrange for someone to take Tyson to
- 31:52Speaker 1: the drug hookup. Yes. So he's saying, you still owed.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Me that, So we're even, we're squared and so uh.
- 32:05Speaker 1: Jerry says, so what you're asking me to do is
- 32:08Speaker 1: to enforce a payment that involves a drug hookup, and
- 32:12Speaker 1: Michael says, yes, same house, same house, we grew up in,
- 32:17Speaker 1: the same house. He told me that he'd pay me
- 32:20Speaker 1: if I found someone to bring him to the hookup
- 32:22Speaker 1: now instead of coming to me because I owe him
- 32:27Speaker 1: one hundred dollars for the cigarette money. He's going around
- 32:30Speaker 1: telling everybody in the family, Michael's not paying me back.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Michael's not paying me back.
- 32:34Speaker 1: And I kept it hush huss that I called and
- 32:36Speaker 1: made an arrangement for the drug hookup. So I we're even,
- 32:40Speaker 1: We're even, we're even, Stevens And basically Tyson just during
- 32:44Speaker 1: all this just kind of keeps just going. Objection, objection,
- 32:49Speaker 1: He never gets that objection has never sustained. Michael says,
- 32:53Speaker 1: look at him, he's dressed up. He's a dressed up
- 32:57Speaker 1: garbage can, which I felt like was and unnecessary.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Comedy Central Road.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Tyson then objects to that as well, and judge Jerry's
- 33:07Speaker 1: right to rule. So just to alright garbage, Tyson is
- 33:13Speaker 1: suing Michael, Yeah, for one hundred dollars for the cigarette.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Michael's claim is that he doesn't owe him any money.
- 33:21Speaker 1: We're now even because you were supposed to pay me
- 33:23Speaker 1: one hundred dollars when I was in jail for the
- 33:26Speaker 1: drug hookup.
- 33:28Speaker 9: Got it.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Here's the problem.
- 33:29Speaker 5: If he doesn't give the money, then he's acknowledging that
- 33:33Speaker 5: the drug hookup was a real thing, and he's okay with.
- 33:37Speaker 2: It and if he if he does, then it's just stupid.
- 33:41Speaker 3: And to to remind everybody, it's one hundred dollars.
- 33:45Speaker 9: I think we've got We've got Mike and Tyson.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Yes, Mike, Michael, Michael, Michael Tuxton.
- 33:52Speaker 9: You know, good things always happened. We got those two
- 33:55Speaker 9: names together.
- 33:57Speaker 8: Another question, isn't technically buying cigarett it's in another state
- 34:01Speaker 8: to sell for profit or another state?
- 34:03Speaker 2: Isn't that one?
- 34:06Speaker 9: So both of these actions are illegal? Up?
- 34:11Speaker 3: I mean, you know, yeah, I don't think.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I don't think any money is exchanging hands.
- 34:16Speaker 10: I don't think there's no money.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Jerry's like, you have to give you money, just no.
- 34:21Speaker 9: Way, no way, no how yeah, yeah, yeah. Interesting. Interesting.
- 34:29Speaker 7: Hmmm does Jerry ever reveal like a surprise officer.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Look under your chair, you're getting arrested, Steve there you Yeah,
- 34:47Speaker 1: that's this.
- 34:48Speaker 7: Changes the whole story. We gotta start this over. This
- 34:52Speaker 7: guy is amazing. Did you see this hat?
- 34:58Speaker 3: I want to that's that Michael is a dressed up
- 35:02Speaker 3: garbage can.
- 35:03Speaker 8: By the way, so what you guys can't see is
- 35:05Speaker 8: this guy looks like a jazz musician in the park.
- 35:08Speaker 7: Yes, how much does he want one hundred dollars, he
- 35:12Speaker 7: gets a hundred bucks. I'm ready to rule.
- 35:15Speaker 5: You can have whatever he wants anytimes that guys thought,
- 35:17Speaker 5: I'm sticking with people.
- 35:19Speaker 9: Is he good?
- 35:20Speaker 1: Ons he he does it. He rolls around.
- 35:25Speaker 3: He's not like doing tricks.
- 35:26Speaker 8: I mean, if he's really bad, then he's over the place.
- 35:30Speaker 9: He's just behind the podium. He might be shifting around.
- 35:33Speaker 3: No, he's a he's solid. He does not no shifting
- 35:36Speaker 3: around here.
- 35:37Speaker 9: And how that's Michael. That's Michael dress.
- 35:41Speaker 7: How's Michael dressing?
- 35:42Speaker 3: Michael? Michael a very large fellow. He has one the
- 35:47Speaker 3: walking thing and he walker.
- 35:52Speaker 1: We call those walks.
- 35:52Speaker 3: He has a walker, a weird thing.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I will just say this after the case, after the verdict.
- 35:59Speaker 1: You know, they do those inner views and they out
- 36:01Speaker 1: in the lobby. Michael's leaving interview is I would be
- 36:08Speaker 1: on roller skates, but I can't walk.
- 36:10Speaker 3: And that's it.
- 36:13Speaker 10: Nothing else, no.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Cut away, that's it.
- 36:16Speaker 9: I that might be a metaphor.
- 36:18Speaker 11: Do we know if Michael rollerbladed into a plasma screen
- 36:21Speaker 11: and the reason.
- 36:23Speaker 5: We're plastic plastic for charity?
- 36:27Speaker 3: All right, Neil, what do you got?
- 36:28Speaker 9: Uh?
- 36:30Speaker 8: Yeah, hey man, The cynical I'm gonna say it gets anything,
- 36:37Speaker 8: but I will say the cynical part in Meat says
- 36:40Speaker 8: that Jerry Springer.
- 36:41Speaker 9: Gives them their own spinoff show.
- 36:44Speaker 2: It's like a sitcom, like an odd couple and roller skates.
- 36:50Speaker 9: Walk and then they literally can't move differently through this universe.
- 36:54Speaker 3: You know where they live the same house they grew
- 36:57Speaker 3: up together, m.
- 37:02Speaker 7: Off the rim.
- 37:03Speaker 9: One other question, drugs is he getting?
- 37:05Speaker 3: We don't get that information.
- 37:07Speaker 2: They typically don't.
- 37:08Speaker 1: They just drug a hook up.
- 37:09Speaker 3: That's all we get.
- 37:10Speaker 9: That's important, that's all we get.
- 37:12Speaker 7: We've seen him.
- 37:12Speaker 3: It's one hundred dollars.
- 37:14Speaker 1: So you do the math there going zero an Tony
- 37:18Speaker 1: you said one hundred dollars.
- 37:20Speaker 7: I'm getting him. I'm okay being wrong just based on
- 37:22Speaker 7: looking at that photo. I want that guy, You're right.
- 37:25Speaker 7: I want that guy to have a payday rock.
- 37:29Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 37:29Speaker 11: I think Tyson may have been inspired by Disney Channel
- 37:32Speaker 11: chie movie Brink and I want him to get at
- 37:35Speaker 11: least seventy six dollars and forty one cents.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Right brand, What did you want? Jerry says, I'm dismissing
- 37:44Speaker 3: this case.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Yeah, Tyson. Tyson yells why and Jerry says, because this
- 37:55Speaker 1: is stupid. Yeah, yeah, he's like, I can give you
- 38:00Speaker 1: one hundred dollars, but I'm gonna give you some advice.
- 38:03Speaker 1: You don't sue the cousin who taught you roller skating
- 38:06Speaker 1: for one hundred dollars. Talk to each.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Other, get out of here, and that's it. Michael says,
- 38:14Speaker 3: I'd be on roller skates, but I can't walk. That's
- 38:17Speaker 3: the end of the episode. Yes, it's beautiful.
