- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush The Truth about Sorority Life with
- 0:04Speaker 1: your hosts me Gia, Judice.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Daisy Kent, and Jennifer Kessler.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Hey guys, it is Gia, Jen and Daisy and we
- 0:14Speaker 1: are back discussing the reality of sorority life and what
- 0:19Speaker 1: is shown on TV and movie is. So let's dive
- 0:24Speaker 1: back in because there's lots more to talk about.
- 0:28Speaker 3: In House Bunny.
- 0:28Speaker 4: To kind of circle back to appearance, Anna Faris does
- 0:32Speaker 4: a nude scene in this and she completely surprised her cast.
- 0:36Speaker 4: So those were, like, they're genuine raw reactions. But I
- 0:41Speaker 4: feel like in the movies they portray that sorority girls
- 0:45Speaker 4: are naked and just like playing naked all the time.
- 0:50Speaker 5: Yeah, and it's kind of true.
- 0:53Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean, and I know this has not
- 0:55Speaker 1: this movie isn't exactly sorority.
- 0:57Speaker 3: It was them in high school.
- 0:59Speaker 1: But me, girls like the Halloween costumes and the slutty
- 1:03Speaker 1: costumes and yeah, I'm just literally wearing no clothes.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Like, yeah, you guys have to see to scene an
- 1:10Speaker 2: animal house. Well you don't have to, it's probably not great,
- 1:12Speaker 2: but the girls are literally like they're all like topless,
- 1:15Speaker 2: and for whatever reason, I don't I doubt very seriously,
- 1:18Speaker 2: you were ever with your sorority sisters in one of
- 1:21Speaker 2: your bedrooms topless having a pillow fight.
- 1:24Speaker 3: No, it's probably right.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I'm thinking that's probably more of a movie thing that.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Was probably not at the top of my Bengo card honestly.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:33Speaker 4: No, I feel like that might have been to kind
- 1:35Speaker 4: of get the male viewers for maybe some movie or
- 1:40Speaker 4: TV shows.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Right right, I feel like they did it. Also, I mean,
- 1:44Speaker 2: did you guys ever see Revenge of the Nerds. No,
- 1:47Speaker 2: I can't with this. I can't one of these things.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I mean you have seen.
- 1:53Speaker 6: It, I haven't, but talk about it.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Oh God, one of these things is not like the other,
- 1:58Speaker 2: and it is me so well. Revenge of the Nerds
- 2:01Speaker 2: is such a funny movie, you guys, and it's just
- 2:03Speaker 2: about a frat house with the nerdiest of the nerdy,
- 2:08Speaker 2: but you like root for them because they're such sweet
- 2:12Speaker 2: guys and they're like terrorized by the other frats on campus.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Like I don't know if that happened with you guys,
- 2:19Speaker 2: if like certain houses would be you know, sort of
- 2:23Speaker 2: like gang up on the nerdier house, I don't know,
- 2:26Speaker 2: but this was like that.
- 2:27Speaker 3: So is it kind of like House Bunny.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean from what I know about House Bunny, Yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 2: I think.
- 2:34Speaker 3: So the nerds you root for, you.
- 2:37Speaker 6: Totally root for the nerds.
- 2:38Speaker 2: It's called revenge of the Nerds, and then they get
- 2:41Speaker 2: their revenge on the asshole like frat bro. You know,
- 2:45Speaker 2: houses is a frat bro. I always use that expression.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Is that like somebody who's already graduated, no, but still
- 2:52Speaker 2: like lives to be in a frat or is that
- 2:54Speaker 2: is that expression you guys use.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I don't think it's like someone that's like graduated. I
- 2:59Speaker 3: feel like it's very stick like you're just like a frap.
- 3:01Speaker 2: You're still like a frat bro. Yeah, like a finance
- 3:04Speaker 2: brow or something. But anyway, yeah, but it was like
- 3:07Speaker 2: grows better.
- 3:08Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if you guys had that though,
- 3:10Speaker 2: where there were like frats or even stories that were
- 3:12Speaker 2: real rivals, like did you guys have in your storties,
- 3:15Speaker 2: like a specific house that you.
- 3:16Speaker 7: Just yeah, I would say that cars it was like, well,
- 3:20Speaker 7: it wasn't like rivals, but it was like Alpha Fi,
- 3:23Speaker 7: Aio and Pi Fi were like always like trying to
- 3:27Speaker 7: get the pre parties with the frats, like we were
- 3:29Speaker 7: always like like trying to have.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Like the better events kind of.
- 3:33Speaker 3: It was almost like a yeah.
- 3:34Speaker 6: Like competition.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, interesting, Yeah, but if the good news is
- 3:41Speaker 2: in Revenge of the Nerds, the Nerds win.
- 3:43Speaker 6: When the Nerds win.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Yes, Also in Revenge of the Nerds, didn't they release
- 3:48Speaker 4: a pig.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yep somewhere I don't remember, Wait, Emma, when I'm trying
- 3:52Speaker 2: to remember that scene, they.
- 3:54Speaker 8: Were trying to impress the Lambda people to get like
- 3:57Speaker 8: accepted as a fraternity, and they did a party with
- 3:59Speaker 8: the oh my moves sent in a bunch of pigs
- 4:04Speaker 8: and said you could use some more pigs for your
- 4:08Speaker 8: because the sorority were like bigger girls. They weren't like,
- 4:11Speaker 8: you know, the hot cue girls right right.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Yeah, So funny in these movies, like the names they
- 4:17Speaker 2: use for the frats and this and the like Delta
- 4:22Speaker 2: in Animal House, like it just there, I guess, I
- 4:26Speaker 2: don't know, there's so and like Alpha Mew like nobody
- 4:28Speaker 2: wants to be in that.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Yeah, it is kind of funny how they take all
- 4:32Speaker 4: the random Greek letters and compile names, not trying to
- 4:36Speaker 4: be like the actual established sororities and fraternities. Yeah, my
- 4:41Speaker 4: sister at home is currently in Mama Papa Sister.
- 4:45Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 4:47Speaker 3: Mom, Dad's sister.
- 4:48Speaker 6: That's her story, you know, because she's.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So love that she called it d That's so cute,
- 4:53Speaker 2: Ma sister.
- 4:54Speaker 5: My dad calls it that.
- 4:56Speaker 2: That was adorable, like what was recent? Del to me
- 5:01Speaker 2: and you said it like new you did it? Yes,
- 5:04Speaker 2: it was so like obnoxious? Yeah, okay in terms of
- 5:10Speaker 2: like funny names for movies, and I know that our
- 5:14Speaker 2: producer Heather has one that she wants to tell us about.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Hi Heather, Hi, guys.
- 5:18Speaker 9: So first and foremost, I'm not from the Greek life,
- 5:22Speaker 9: so I actually have so many questions about this on
- 5:26Speaker 9: terms of if this is real? Is this just for
- 5:28Speaker 9: the TV show? So I was obsessed with the TV
- 5:32Speaker 9: show Greek Gia. Have you ever heard of it or
- 5:37Speaker 9: seen it?
- 5:37Speaker 5: I know Jen hasn't, but have you know? Okay, no,
- 5:41Speaker 5: this is critical.
- 5:43Speaker 9: So it came out when I was in college, and,
- 5:47Speaker 9: like I said, never been in the Greek life, but
- 5:50Speaker 9: I was obsessed with this show and I thought it.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Was so cute.
- 5:53Speaker 9: So it takes place at this college called Cypress Rhads,
- 6:00Speaker 9: and it's all from the story point of freshman nerdy
- 6:04Speaker 9: Rusty who is now joining college and his older sister, Casey,
- 6:10Speaker 9: is already established at this school. She is part of
- 6:15Speaker 9: the Zeta Beta Zetas and she's on her way to
- 6:20Speaker 9: being the president of her sorority. Like that is like
- 6:23Speaker 9: her end all be all goal. And so when Rusty
- 6:27Speaker 9: joins the college, he's like, I'm gonna pledge a fraternity
- 6:31Speaker 9: and she literally tells him in the first one in
- 6:34Speaker 9: the first episode, she says, uh, no, frat guys are
- 6:38Speaker 9: hot and have upper bodies.
- 6:41Speaker 2: That's a nice pore, Rusty.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Horrible, right.
- 6:45Speaker 9: So basically the main the three main Greek houses that
- 6:51Speaker 9: are featured on this show is the Zeta Beta Zetas.
- 6:54Speaker 9: They are the top sorority, and then there is the
- 6:57Speaker 9: Omega Kies, which is the top frat, and so Casey's
- 7:02Speaker 9: boyfriend is the president of the Omega.
- 7:04Speaker 6: Kies of course, and.
- 7:06Speaker 9: On the opposite end is like their version of animal House,
- 7:10Speaker 9: which is the Capitous and that house, the president is
- 7:16Speaker 9: named Cappy, that's his nickname, and they're the Wild Bunch.
- 7:20Speaker 9: But that's Casey's ex boyfriend. So her current boyfriend's the
- 7:24Speaker 9: president of the top frat and her ex boyfriend is
- 7:29Speaker 9: the president of the party frat. So love triangle ensues, right,
- 7:35Speaker 9: and so in the first episode, Rusty is like, you know,
- 7:40Speaker 9: he meets the Omega Keyes and.
- 7:42Speaker 5: What I thought was really funny. Okay, you tell me this.
- 7:44Speaker 9: When they're going to rush, all the guys are wearing
- 7:48Speaker 9: collared shirts and neckties like when they're going just to
- 7:52Speaker 9: meet the houses.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Maybe, I mean, I don't know, I don't know.
- 7:57Speaker 6: I mean, for me, it was so long ago, but I.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Remember that like if they had to, I think they
- 8:02Speaker 1: only had to dress up in suits. Maybe when they
- 8:04Speaker 1: were like initiate. No, yeah, maybe they were initiated or
- 8:08Speaker 1: when they got into the frat, but I don't think
- 8:10Speaker 1: for actual like frat like like for recruitment for the fraternities,
- 8:16Speaker 1: that they had to like dress like fancy.
- 8:33Speaker 5: Okay, So there's that.
- 8:34Speaker 9: And then they're also showing the Zeta Beta zetas as
- 8:38Speaker 9: they're doing their rush thing, and all the girls that
- 8:41Speaker 9: come to rush are wearing pearls cardigans, like like they're
- 8:48Speaker 9: going to tea with their grandma.
- 8:49Speaker 2: You guys, that's the South, That's how it was.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 3: I feel like in their.
- 8:54Speaker 5: South, like that's how they do it.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I think so. I mean, for us, we
- 9:00Speaker 1: didn't look like, we didn't look bad, like. We definitely
- 9:03Speaker 1: had to put ourselves together, like wear dresses.
- 9:06Speaker 3: And stuff like that.
- 9:06Speaker 1: We weren't wearing pearls in Jersey, but I mean we
- 9:10Speaker 1: definitely had to look nice and like wear dresses and stuff.
- 9:14Speaker 2: You guys, you should see my composite picture. I have
- 9:16Speaker 2: to show it to you. So literally every girl had
- 9:21Speaker 2: a strand of pearls and basically it's white lace.
- 9:25Speaker 6: That just kind of and every single girl.
- 9:26Speaker 2: And then because it was me, so I had all
- 9:29Speaker 2: that going on, my face was this big and my
- 9:32Speaker 2: hair was even bigger. Right, it was like I was
- 9:35Speaker 2: very heavy with very big, frizzy, curly hair. But I
- 9:39Speaker 2: was in the South, so I had the string of
- 9:40Speaker 2: pearls and the white lace. It was so proper.
- 9:43Speaker 9: So check for the accuracy on that. That seems like
- 9:47Speaker 9: it's sitty accurate.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Okay.
- 9:48Speaker 9: So one of the other things is they open up
- 9:50Speaker 9: the episode with the Zeta Bata Zetas doing a skit,
- 9:55Speaker 9: yes for the other sisters, like showing them how to
- 9:59Speaker 9: not act with a rushie like when you're getting to
- 10:02Speaker 9: know them, Like they do a whole skit.
- 10:04Speaker 5: So would you guys do skits.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I mean it's like training for sure. Yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 3: It wasn't like for the other sororities.
- 10:12Speaker 9: But it was just for the sisters in the house.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Yeah, like we oh yeah, we went through a whole training.
- 10:18Speaker 9: Okay, and then literally the skit is over and the
- 10:22Speaker 9: president goes, hey, girls, she goes, uh, meet you at
- 10:29Speaker 9: the bar in an hour.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Anyone with an ID real or fake.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Oh that definitely did not fly in my sorority.
- 10:36Speaker 5: Hell no, your president saying real or fake?
- 10:39Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 10:40Speaker 1: If if we went to there's this bar at Ruckers
- 10:43Speaker 1: called Queen's and it was known like you could only
- 10:47Speaker 1: go to that bar when you were twenty one. But
- 10:49Speaker 1: also a lot of the sorority girls from my sorority,
- 10:53Speaker 1: Gamma from g FI, they would work there. So and
- 10:59Speaker 1: when it came to like the underage sorority sisters trying
- 11:02Speaker 1: to get into the bars, they were like monitoring like
- 11:06Speaker 1: clockwork like, and all the sororities would kind of team
- 11:09Speaker 1: up and look out for the other sororities. If one
- 11:13Speaker 1: of their members tried to come in underage, that was
- 11:17Speaker 1: a big no no, Like that is the opposite go
- 11:20Speaker 1: to Queen's if you were under twenty one.
- 11:23Speaker 2: So back in the day, the older sorority sisters were
- 11:27Speaker 2: giving their licenses to the younger sorority sisters to use.
- 11:31Speaker 2: It was like who has dark hair? Who is you know?
- 11:34Speaker 2: It was like and no, there was none of that,
- 11:37Speaker 2: And I mean it just didn't underage drinking, like is
- 11:41Speaker 2: there an age for drinking? We just it wasn't really
- 11:44Speaker 2: a consideration back in the day.
- 11:46Speaker 9: That's a half accurate then in jenniferon Jen's terms.
- 11:50Speaker 6: Yes, okay.
- 11:51Speaker 9: So then at one point in the episode, Rusty he's
- 11:55Speaker 9: like really confused on how to navigate this Greek life thing,
- 11:58Speaker 9: so he shows up to the ZB house to like
- 12:01Speaker 9: try to get his sister's attention and her advice, and
- 12:04Speaker 9: he just walks into the house and like walks upstairs,
- 12:08Speaker 9: and all of a sudden, these girls are like boy
- 12:10Speaker 9: in the house and they start screaming and then all
- 12:14Speaker 9: the girls like on that floor run out. But he
- 12:17Speaker 9: looks downstairs and a security guard circles the stairs and
- 12:21Speaker 9: starts running up after him. Did you guys ever have
- 12:25Speaker 9: a security guard working at your house? Hells no, okay,
- 12:30Speaker 9: didn't think so, So inaccurate for that one. Inaccurate Okay,
- 12:36Speaker 9: So then when they're when going back to the guys
- 12:39Speaker 9: are on getting to know all the houses, one of
- 12:43Speaker 9: the guys in the process ses, he's a legacy at
- 12:47Speaker 9: this house, so he feels like he doesn't have a
- 12:50Speaker 9: whole lot of pressure to like impress this house when
- 12:54Speaker 9: he gets there.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Is that really the case for a legacy member.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, if you're really following the rules, if
- 13:01Speaker 1: you're a legacy and you have your mother or your
- 13:03Speaker 1: sister cousin, it gets a little tricky. But like especially
- 13:07Speaker 1: your mother or your sister were in that sorority, you
- 13:09Speaker 1: do have legacy to then be in that sorority. Sometimes,
- 13:13Speaker 1: you know, during the process, things do get mixed up
- 13:16Speaker 1: and maybe you don't make the cut, and that's always
- 13:19Speaker 1: a big what to do if that happens. But most
- 13:23Speaker 1: of the time, if a family member is in that sorority,
- 13:26Speaker 1: you should have legacy. Do I think you should ever
- 13:28Speaker 1: go into recruitment with that mentality?
- 13:31Speaker 3: Probably not. But that is a thing.
- 13:34Speaker 6: Yeah, it was.
- 13:35Speaker 2: It was a thing for us, But now I have
- 13:37Speaker 2: heard since I've kind of reconnected with sorority sisters, but
- 13:42Speaker 2: now at ute does not really matter, can't doesn't Maybe
- 13:47Speaker 2: it helps a little, but there are so many girls
- 13:49Speaker 2: trying to get into like the same sorority. There's so
- 13:52Speaker 2: much competition now, and so I don't think legacy carries
- 13:57Speaker 2: you like it used to.
- 13:58Speaker 9: Okay, at one point in the process, the top sorority
- 14:03Speaker 9: is really trying to get this girl who is a
- 14:05Speaker 9: senator's daughter. They really want her because of the prestige
- 14:10Speaker 9: and money that it will bring to the house. I
- 14:14Speaker 9: don't know if that sounds accurate, but when they're offering
- 14:19Speaker 9: her a bid, basically the sorority sister says, we'll give
- 14:24Speaker 9: you whatever you want, and she says, I want my
- 14:27Speaker 9: own room, and then she goes done, and she goes
- 14:31Speaker 9: and I want access to family vacation homes. So another question,
- 14:37Speaker 9: would a freshman ever get her own room in the
- 14:39Speaker 9: sorority house and do you ever have access to other members'
- 14:45Speaker 9: vacation homes family vacation homes.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Definitely never heard of that, although my daughter did get
- 14:50Speaker 2: her own room in the sorority house because she has
- 14:53Speaker 2: type one diabetes, so we kind of pull wherever we can.
- 14:57Speaker 2: We try to pull the diabetes card. It's all it's
- 14:59Speaker 2: because diabetes, but we try to use it when we.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Can, I mean, why not Vanessa system?
- 15:05Speaker 2: Yes, exactly, so she did get We first tried to
- 15:09Speaker 2: use it to get her out of having to live
- 15:10Speaker 2: in the house, but that did not go over. So
- 15:12Speaker 2: they did give her her own room, which was great.
- 15:15Speaker 2: But I never heard of that otherwise.
- 15:32Speaker 9: One of the frat houses, the capitaos, the one that
- 15:36Speaker 9: are the disorganized animal house guys. The morning after, they're
- 15:41Speaker 9: trying to remember all the guys that they met the
- 15:43Speaker 9: night before, so they're literally going, hey, do you remember Chris, Hey,
- 15:48Speaker 9: do you remember somebody named Brian? And then they go
- 15:52Speaker 9: did anybody take pictures as they entered? So is that
- 15:56Speaker 9: something they do? Do they take pictures of each of
- 15:59Speaker 9: you as you enter into the house to remember a
- 16:02Speaker 9: face with a name.
- 16:03Speaker 2: No, I don't remember that. We used to have professional
- 16:07Speaker 2: because we didn't have cell phones. Yeah, so I want
- 16:09Speaker 2: you to imagine that, geez. So we had there was
- 16:11Speaker 2: a professional, professional photographer at all of the parties and
- 16:16Speaker 2: who they would take your picture with either your friends
- 16:19Speaker 2: or your date or whatever, and then you'd have like
- 16:21Speaker 2: underneath it would be like I don't know, ZBT a
- 16:26Speaker 2: fy whatever kind of part, cowboy part, whatever it was,
- 16:29Speaker 2: and you went away till that and then and then
- 16:32Speaker 2: the photographer would come with all the pictures and you'd
- 16:34Speaker 2: have to buy the pictures that you wanted. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:37Speaker 2: I mean that was that was the only way to
- 16:39Speaker 2: document this stuff.
- 16:42Speaker 9: Two of the guys end up getting into a fight
- 16:44Speaker 9: in this episode and one hits the other one with
- 16:47Speaker 9: a wooden paddle.
- 16:51Speaker 5: First of all, what are those wooden paddles for? I
- 16:55Speaker 5: literally don't know.
- 16:56Speaker 9: And have you ever heard of somebody getting in a
- 16:59Speaker 9: fight with those things and using it as a weapon?
- 17:03Speaker 1: The wooden paddles, if I'm understanding you correctly, it's like
- 17:07Speaker 1: kind of what your sorority sisters. I mean, I don't
- 17:09Speaker 1: think the Frock guys do this, So I don't know
- 17:10Speaker 1: why they would have a wooden paddle, but like in
- 17:12Speaker 1: my sorority, you would like decorate your paddle for you're
- 17:15Speaker 1: like you're little or you're like for your little typically.
- 17:19Speaker 2: No, I can tell you what they're for, what they
- 17:21Speaker 2: grew their origin?
- 17:23Speaker 5: Tell me I have no idea.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Well it's not I don't know if this is the
- 17:27Speaker 2: absolute origin. But I grew up in a place called Sugarland, Texas,
- 17:31Speaker 2: and the principal used to have a wooden paddle on
- 17:34Speaker 2: the wall, and if you got in trouble, you'd have
- 17:36Speaker 2: to go to the principal's office and bend over and
- 17:39Speaker 2: you got what was called a pop. This is true.
- 17:41Speaker 6: Can you imagine that today?
- 17:43Speaker 2: Can you imagine a girls having to bend over and
- 17:45Speaker 2: put her ass out while the principal smacked her. Imagine
- 17:47Speaker 2: that today? But I mean, so paddles were for our peeps.
- 17:52Speaker 2: They were for smacking your ass if you were bad,
- 17:55Speaker 2: and I'm guessing that that's I mean, that's what they
- 17:58Speaker 2: kind of represent.
- 17:59Speaker 6: Thank god.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Now they're just used to decorate and put cute stickers
- 18:02Speaker 2: on and give to your little But yeah, I think
- 18:05Speaker 2: they were a thing.
- 18:07Speaker 9: Okay, and so half accurate again on that one.
- 18:11Speaker 5: We don't We.
- 18:11Speaker 9: Still question mark on that, okay. So towards the end
- 18:15Speaker 9: of the episode, Rusty basically declines his bid to the
- 18:21Speaker 9: Omega KUIs after he catches the President basically cheating on
- 18:26Speaker 9: his own sister, and the President tells him like, hey man,
- 18:31Speaker 9: this stays between brothers, which is kind of like ick. Right,
- 18:35Speaker 9: He's like, that's my sister and you're cheating, But you
- 18:38Speaker 9: want me to keep it between us because we might
- 18:40Speaker 9: be brothers, and then he gets a bid and he's
- 18:42Speaker 9: like ew gross, like no, thank you, So he declined Rusty.
- 18:46Speaker 9: Good for Rusty, and he instead chooses to be a
- 18:49Speaker 9: pledge with the capitous the Animal House guys because they're
- 18:55Speaker 9: more fun and he's a nerd and he wants to
- 18:57Speaker 9: like have his college experience. First of all, they call
- 19:01Speaker 9: him pledge after that, So do you do that in college?
- 19:05Speaker 5: You call they.
- 19:06Speaker 9: Literally stop calling him Rusty and they call him pledge.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Yeah yeah I think so, he no, yeah, no, yeah,
- 19:14Speaker 1: you're you're called the pledges. Especially in the fraternities, right,
- 19:18Speaker 1: the freshman guys are called pledges.
- 19:21Speaker 9: But like they literally don't call him by his name.
- 19:23Speaker 9: They will say Pledge, come here, Pledge go.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, they'll clean my room.
- 19:28Speaker 5: Right, Okay, so that is accurate. Okay, great.
- 19:31Speaker 9: And then at the end we see Rusty in the
- 19:35Speaker 9: bar and he's now fully dressed as a girl and
- 19:39Speaker 9: he goes, uh, he asks if like this is the
- 19:42Speaker 9: extent of his hazing, so give it to me straight,
- 19:47Speaker 9: like in this was I don't This was in two
- 19:49Speaker 9: thousand and seven when this show came out, so like
- 19:53Speaker 9: almost twenty years ago. So are they still doing this
- 19:59Speaker 9: form of hazing, of dressing guys as girls are doing
- 20:02Speaker 9: some sort of public embarrassment like this.
- 20:05Speaker 3: I would say public embarrassment.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I don't know if it's like they'll have them dress
- 20:09Speaker 1: up as girls, but I think, yeah, like the frack
- 20:11Speaker 1: guys will do whatever they want to.
- 20:13Speaker 5: Give me an example, tell me stuff that you saw.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I just remember all the frat guys I went to
- 20:18Speaker 2: dress in all different things on campus and then like
- 20:21Speaker 2: go to class and like or like go to class
- 20:25Speaker 2: without their shirts on or whatever.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, what is it called like that they
- 20:29Speaker 1: would do the naked mile around campus freaking.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, they did that back in my day.
- 20:37Speaker 9: So wait, so you guys actually witness people streaking. It's
- 20:41Speaker 9: not just like an old school where they're like, we're
- 20:44Speaker 9: going streaking, like that's a real thing.
- 20:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I don't remember witnessing it, but I remember it happening.
- 20:50Speaker 2: My son was also in a frat. I feel like
- 20:52Speaker 2: he had to do shit like that. I don't know
- 20:54Speaker 2: about streaking.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Yeah, like they make you do crazy Yeah.
- 20:58Speaker 5: Okay, wait, but like what I think the cops get called.
- 21:02Speaker 9: Like you can go to jail for like being naked
- 21:04Speaker 9: out in the middle of the Street, like, when.
- 21:06Speaker 6: Are you doing this?
- 21:07Speaker 3: Thank God, it's a different day. It was probably in
- 21:10Speaker 3: the middle of the night.
- 21:11Speaker 9: Like, okay, okay, interesting, Well, thanks guys for kind of
- 21:16Speaker 9: clearing that up for me as to what's kind of accurate,
- 21:18Speaker 9: what's kind.
- 21:19Speaker 6: Of Oh wait, does Rusty end up? Okay, poor little Rusty.
- 21:22Speaker 9: You guys have to watch And I will say all
- 21:25Speaker 9: the episodes are available on Hulu. The show was originally
- 21:28Speaker 9: on ABC Family, which is now free Form. And it
- 21:31Speaker 9: is so cute and fun and in four seasons, just
- 21:35Speaker 9: like the amount of time you're in college. So I
- 21:38Speaker 9: highly recommend to any that's so cute I haven't seen
- 21:40Speaker 9: it to watch it this weekend.
- 21:43Speaker 6: Love that.

- 21:46Speaker 2: can't hang out. I'll be watching Rusty and Greek. I'll
- 21:51Speaker 2: be like, you need to get a life.
- 21:53Speaker 6: Okay.

- 22:07Speaker 2: Don't tell Teresa Judice that I'm telling you to watch it.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Although it's not like it's crazy, but it's just so
- 22:13Speaker 2: politically incorrect, but it is funny. Oh and by the way,
- 22:17Speaker 2: the music, I really hope you'll recognize the the other
- 22:21Speaker 2: song shout come on now shout. I think people still

- 22:28Speaker 6: Is that who?
- 22:28Speaker 2: I'll forget it, but you should watch the movie.
