- 2:26Speaker 1: I put it.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Why would you put a okay, join in the freezer.
- 2:31Speaker 1: This is where we did our first podcast. This is
- 2:33Speaker 1: like a very famous setup. It's gonna have a nice
- 2:36Speaker 1: quiet sound now too, with all this sound absorption. I
- 2:38Speaker 1: see that. I learned that from the producers who've got
- 2:40Speaker 1: a lot of bourbons. They see your car running? Yeah,
- 2:44Speaker 1: is that bad?
- 2:45Speaker 2: All right?
- 2:46Speaker 1: I figured we got to get out of here. Now
- 2:47Speaker 1: we got a lot of time.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Oh, we have time, all right.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Maybe I should shut the car off and uh put
- 2:53Speaker 3: my window up so I don't have a web seat
- 2:55Speaker 3: all the way to Breastown.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Real, Can I see your bedroom? I'm just curious to
- 2:59Speaker 1: see what you on my place? So I have my
- 3:02Speaker 1: camping light. Is that a bug lighter? No, it's just
- 3:04Speaker 1: a regular But the bugs don't go to it because
- 3:06Speaker 1: led this. I had to put rags on there because
- 3:08Speaker 1: the bugs figured out how to get through the eighth s.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I gotta go buy duct tape, and I'm gonna got the.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Bathroom for the kid's all cleaned and then nice.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Then we got a little crazy in there, what do
- 3:18Speaker 1: you mean? And got a little crazy there for you
- 3:20Speaker 1: hide but the party that's the only place for the door.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'm not the smallest guy world.
- 3:29Speaker 3: There.
- 3:30Speaker 1: All right, let me turn off my car. Uh what
- 3:33Speaker 1: do I do?
- 3:33Speaker 5: Do?
- 3:33Speaker 1: I keep podcasting?
- 3:35Speaker 2: All right?
- 3:37Speaker 1: Go away to the muckboots. Huh, I got the muckboots. The
- 3:41Speaker 1: muck boots.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I see you.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Got some packages outside of the door. Yeah, stuff inside?
- 3:49Speaker 2: I throw it out there, all right.
- 3:51Speaker 3: It always rains when I'm when I'm at the creepy cabin.
- 3:55Speaker 3: It's the only place in Jersey right now, that's really raining.
- 3:58Speaker 2: We're up in the mountain.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Bro.
- 4:00Speaker 2: You got a lot of moss on your roof.
- 4:02Speaker 6: And it keeps a nice and warm.
- 4:06Speaker 2: It's like camouflage. You can't see it another year. This
- 4:10Speaker 2: nature is.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Gonna take over your your whole creepy cabin looks good though, right,
- 4:15Speaker 3: It adds.
- 4:16Speaker 2: A little something I wanted to You want it to
- 4:18Speaker 2: look like a cabin.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You don't want it to look like you know?
- 4:21Speaker 3: Why are you walking so crad because my driver's seat
- 4:25Speaker 3: is where I mean turn off this bad boy?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Ah?
- 4:31Speaker 2: Here is this I don't know a couple of years now.
- 4:35Speaker 6: Doesn't sound great?
- 4:37Speaker 1: Huh sounds something sounds weird.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Well, don't say that. Don't say that. As we're about
- 4:43Speaker 2: to do our road trip to Bristol, Connect Gloria.
- 4:45Speaker 6: She's coming here, she's chasing us down.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Oh, she's gonna like follow us. That'll be good. Cannon
- 4:51Speaker 2: ball run m So what else? So that's about it.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Let's get back inside.
- 4:58Speaker 1: See no bugs nice out here?
- 4:59Speaker 2: Right? It is nice. I see the fox is doing okay.
- 5:07Speaker 6: I have to park it low right because I got
- 5:09Speaker 6: some people who just drive by to see if I'm
- 5:11Speaker 6: home or not.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Ah, No, you gotta do is you gotta? You gotta
- 5:15Speaker 2: put your car behind the creepy cabin. The bears will
- 5:18Speaker 2: take it and enjoy riding right into the lake.
- 5:22Speaker 6: They're fucking smart as a whip out of here.
- 5:24Speaker 2: But that's the move you gotta. Everyone knows you gotta
- 5:26Speaker 2: hide your car behind your.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Apartment or your house, or your cabin or your whatever.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I've seen, all.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Right, Carl, I gotta I gotta ask, why don't you
- 5:43Speaker 3: have a freaking TV on the wall over there and
- 5:45Speaker 3: a nice couch?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Hope you've obviously lived a different life than I've lived.
- 5:52Speaker 7: It doesn't cost much to get a little TV, not
- 5:55Speaker 7: the money.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I look, I have all the FiOS, and I have everything.
- 5:57Speaker 7: I see that, and it's not much for a little
- 5:59Speaker 7: like couch that you can lay.
- 6:00Speaker 1: On and get. People want to give me couches. That
- 6:02Speaker 1: has nothing to do with it. Why wouldn't you take
- 6:04Speaker 1: a couch?
- 6:04Speaker 5: This?
- 6:04Speaker 7: This, This is a very uncomfortable setup.
- 6:07Speaker 6: This is asional layout. I do layouts for a living.
- 6:11Speaker 6: I build restaurants for Yeah, that's why, because think I
- 6:13Speaker 6: don't know flow comfort?
- 6:14Speaker 1: Right?
- 6:15Speaker 6: All right, let's walk through it. You come to my
- 6:17Speaker 6: cabin for a party. Right, there's a bench, two chairs,
- 6:23Speaker 6: and a bar, right right. You're not going to get
- 6:26Speaker 6: comfort here. You're gonna drink, you're gonna party. If there's
- 6:29Speaker 6: somebody that stays, that wants to stay behind, maybe party
- 6:32Speaker 6: a little longer.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Where are they gonna sit in the bedroom? That's the
- 6:38Speaker 1: only place that's comfortable in the only soft sky cabin
- 6:42Speaker 1: in the cabin. This is a professional place, that's brilliant.
- 6:47Speaker 1: People came here the other day, pat right everybody? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 6:52Speaker 1: so people wanted to sit wait for them against it.
- 6:54Speaker 1: They got Now that was it. They were done. Party
- 6:56Speaker 1: was done in an hour and a half. And there's
- 6:58Speaker 1: just a little gazelle.
- 6:59Speaker 6: Just just prouncing around and she was trying to figure
- 7:03Speaker 6: out where she could sit.
- 7:05Speaker 3: And now she's a little tired, she's she's been a
- 7:07Speaker 3: lot hours, the parties winding down down.
- 7:11Speaker 1: This room smells like cigar smoke. That's the only room
- 7:14Speaker 1: with the eighth se See that that's the bathroom.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Everything's over there, it's it's all brilliant. But in between
- 7:20Speaker 3: the ladies, then you live in discomfort.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Though I'm training, I'm training, but why am I here? Right?
- 7:29Speaker 8: Yeah, you're on the road a lot. I'm on the
- 7:31Speaker 8: road a lot, right, I mean beautiful hotels. Yeah, so
- 7:34Speaker 8: who cares? Fair enough, you were saying your dad was
- 7:38Speaker 8: a ladies man. That's when that's when the signal crept
- 7:41Speaker 8: out in the car.
- 7:43Speaker 6: So my father when he was okay, he had a
- 7:46Speaker 6: tire shop in Sake, New Jersey, and then he had
- 7:48Speaker 6: big apartment building that he on the top of it.
- 7:51Speaker 1: And on the first of the month, he'd be like,
- 7:54Speaker 1: let's go up and get the rents, and like all
- 7:57Speaker 1: the women.
- 7:58Speaker 9: High Jesse like they love to him, they loved him.
- 8:01Speaker 9: And it was this one lady and apartment nine. You
- 8:05Speaker 9: remember the apartment like it was yesterday. Shit like it
- 8:11Speaker 9: was yesterday.
- 8:12Speaker 6: And I was already older, and we'd go up to
- 8:16Speaker 6: the apartment and she would come out like in.
- 8:18Speaker 1: This almost like sheer, uh, what happened your microphone?
- 8:24Speaker 6: Barbie bro No, no, no, she would Apartment nine and
- 8:27Speaker 6: she would open up and always in like the sheer
- 8:30Speaker 6: neglige kind of thing, and I'm just and my dad
- 8:33Speaker 6: would be like, you know, talk to her a little bit,
- 8:35Speaker 6: and I'm like, what the what the hell's going on?
- 8:37Speaker 6: Like I would see no rent transpire and he's like,
- 8:40Speaker 6: all right, We're all done.
- 8:41Speaker 10: I'm like all right, and you knew not ask anty questions.
- 8:46Speaker 11: And then my dad got sick and then I went
- 8:48Speaker 11: to and then I would go collect the rents and
- 8:51Speaker 11: I decided to.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Continue the tradition. And it was lose just Dominican. She
- 9:00Speaker 1: was smoking and she was I mean she could. She
- 9:03Speaker 1: was twice my age.
- 9:04Speaker 3: So on rent day she just knew to show up
- 9:06Speaker 3: at the door with the negligent set and everything.
- 9:08Speaker 1: We'd clear everything up and everything was. It was a legacy.
- 9:11Speaker 1: It was a legacy.
- 9:12Speaker 2: All right.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You know, you gotta keep the tradition going. I'll keep
- 9:15Speaker 1: your tradition for the kid, for the for the gif.
- 9:17Speaker 3: For I forgot that your dad was a tire man.
- 9:19Speaker 3: So I almost didn't make it here today because I
- 9:22Speaker 3: got the flat tire, like I said, on the Cross
- 9:24Speaker 3: Bronx Expressway, worst road in America.
- 9:27Speaker 1: And uh, where the hell did it go? Hold on?
- 9:30Speaker 1: Oh yeah here it is. Look at this thing. If
- 9:33Speaker 1: you go to my Instagram, mote be Radio. I posted this.
- 9:36Speaker 1: But how the fuck does that get in a tire?
- 9:38Speaker 1: So what are we what are we looking at?
- 9:39Speaker 2: For real?
- 9:40Speaker 1: For the people, So this is a one point five
- 9:42Speaker 1: see that the point five. Oh yeah, this means one
- 9:44Speaker 1: point five ounces. This is a lead weight. This goes
- 9:47Speaker 1: on a steel wheel. So this is to.
- 9:50Speaker 6: Balance the tire the harmonics when it starts to become wobbly.
- 9:53Speaker 6: So you put this opposite of the dead spot right
- 9:56Speaker 6: wherever wherever the heavy spot is in either the tire
- 9:58Speaker 6: or the wheel.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it out right. So this is a one fifty
- 10:02Speaker 1: and they go up to two fifty and then you.
- 10:03Speaker 11: Add them depending on how bad the wheel is or
- 10:06Speaker 11: the tires.
- 10:07Speaker 1: So this fell off a car because it was put
- 10:11Speaker 1: placed on properly. It was badly crimped. Right, they did
- 10:14Speaker 1: it wrong. So this fell off.
- 10:16Speaker 11: And what happens is your front tire hits it because
- 10:18Speaker 11: there's it's not it's not pointing or anything.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Your front tire hits it and lifts it up.
- 10:22Speaker 6: And when it lifts it up, your back tire just
- 10:25Speaker 6: comes and steps, just crushes and kind of goes right
- 10:27Speaker 6: in like a bullet.
- 10:28Speaker 1: But then you can tell you can see it.
- 10:29Speaker 7: Yeah, I understand all that, but collapsed.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just amazed that there's no real sharpness to
- 10:35Speaker 3: that thing, and that's still pressure and that still.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Penetrated my back tire.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Wow, tires rubber would steal belt, right, I mean this
- 10:42Speaker 3: is really thick with no point on it.
- 10:45Speaker 6: Yeah, but you know you add fifty miles an hour
- 10:47Speaker 6: and your car has to be five thousand pounds.
- 10:50Speaker 1: So yeah, and that Cross Bronx Expressway.
- 10:52Speaker 3: You know, being very white and being brought up on
- 10:55Speaker 3: Long Island, we learned from an early age, if your
- 10:58Speaker 3: car any problems when you car on the Cross Bronx Expressway,
- 11:01Speaker 3: you keep going.
- 11:03Speaker 1: So I rimmed it all the way home.
- 11:04Speaker 3: So do you do you know anything about the Cross
- 11:06Speaker 3: Bronx Expressway. What do you mean In the old days,
- 11:09Speaker 3: that was like a car graveyard. If you broke down
- 11:13Speaker 3: and you left your car and you walked to go
- 11:16Speaker 3: get help back on your day, you would come back
- 11:18Speaker 3: and you wouldn't even recognize your car.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Most of the parts would be gone and.
- 11:22Speaker 3: They and the city would never get rid of these
- 11:25Speaker 3: cars that were abandoned on the side of the road.
- 11:26Speaker 3: You would just see, you know, a few cars here
- 11:29Speaker 3: and there as you took the trip on the Cross
- 11:31Speaker 3: Bronx Expressway with these cars just completely.
- 11:34Speaker 1: How she was Remember how shity the city was?
- 11:37Speaker 9: Yeah, man, do you remember all the burnt out buildings
- 11:40Speaker 9: in the Bronx and the city.
- 11:43Speaker 6: I was too young, but they used to call it
- 11:44Speaker 6: the black the black fog summer whenever when they when
- 11:47Speaker 6: the landlord started burning all the buildings in the Bronx right,
- 11:50Speaker 6: and it was just like you could smell the fucking Yeah.
- 11:52Speaker 1: It was crazy.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Yeah, there were so many abandoned and burnt out buildings
- 11:55Speaker 3: in the Bronx. The city didn't know what to do
- 11:57Speaker 3: because they could knock all these things down and they
- 11:59Speaker 3: weren't gonna refurbish him many times soon. So do you
- 12:02Speaker 3: remember they got the big idea to take the windows.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and do like cardboard things.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Well, they would put wood up and then they would
- 12:09Speaker 3: they would paint like plants, like shades and drapes and
- 12:14Speaker 3: fake windows to make the buildings look a little nicer
- 12:18Speaker 3: for whitey that was driving through the Bronx and the
- 12:20Speaker 3: Cross Bronx Express.
- 12:21Speaker 1: One want to affect the white people, Yeah, exactly. So
- 12:24Speaker 1: what are we doing? Should we take off soon? We should?
- 12:26Speaker 1: I gotta get I gotta figure out what I'm gonna wear. Uh,
- 12:29Speaker 1: do you have to wear some nice have to wear
- 12:31Speaker 1: chef chack? I should wear a chef Jack. Yeah, for
- 12:34Speaker 1: the people that don't know.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I decided to drive Carl to ESPN and Bristol, Connecticut
- 12:38Speaker 3: for his big gig.
- 12:39Speaker 1: What are you doing? By the way, the best is
- 12:40Speaker 1: gonna have to check you in. That was the best.
- 12:42Speaker 6: What I'm like, Yeah, And also I'm having a guest
- 12:45Speaker 6: Greg Hughes, Greg Opie Hughes.
- 12:53Speaker 1: That's what that's what sucks, you know. I would always like,
- 13:00Speaker 1: like I was cross my fingers, don't cancel. They don't
- 13:03Speaker 1: cancel canceling. No. I would size up people, especially in
- 13:06Speaker 1: the shock Jack days when.
- 13:07Speaker 3: We're get in trouble all the time and all that,
- 13:10Speaker 3: and I would size up the person when I was
- 13:12Speaker 3: meeting new people, and I'm like, do I do?
- 13:14Speaker 1: I tell him I'm OPI or Greg Q's And it.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Got away with the greg Hes a lot of times
- 13:18Speaker 3: because they're like, what's your name?
- 13:19Speaker 1: And you know, if I said Opie, then you don't
- 13:21Speaker 1: know what the hell is going to happen? Greg Q anotymous?
- 13:25Speaker 1: What do you do for a living? Marketing?
- 13:27Speaker 3: Just all this Monday bullshit, you know stuff. I would
- 13:30Speaker 3: say stuff so so they would not.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Talk to me.
- 13:33Speaker 3: But now that Greg Hughes doesn't work as much, doesn't.
- 13:39Speaker 1: That's the pr people Disney. Was there a sigh? Or
- 13:42Speaker 1: was there? It was very flat?
- 13:46Speaker 12: It was hello, Bristol. I've never been to ESPN. This
- 13:54Speaker 12: would be Oh, it's I mean, it's one an incredible campus.
- 13:57Speaker 1: I think it did last year. So what are you doing?
- 13:59Speaker 1: I did last year? So it's fantasy football? Yeah, And
- 14:02Speaker 1: I read.
- 14:02Speaker 6: A bunch of recipes and stuff that you can easily
- 14:04Speaker 6: cook at home or you know, like inside barbecue and
- 14:08Speaker 6: ship and fun ship.
- 14:08Speaker 1: And I'm doing it with all the sports guys. They
- 14:11Speaker 1: like me up there.
- 14:12Speaker 6: That's awesome, all right, So I'm the first guy to
- 14:14Speaker 6: get a ESPN.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I'm excited. That's a cool gig, right, I think it's great.
- 14:19Speaker 1: All right, don't we Why don't we take off?
- 14:21Speaker 5: Man?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Aren't we stopping at Pepe's? We're stopping, of course, we're
- 14:24Speaker 1: stopping at Pepa. Where's Pepees? Pepees is in Connecticut? Part Connecticut?
- 14:29Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 14:30Speaker 3: It's just on the way, on the way, okay. And
- 14:32Speaker 3: why is it the best pizza? Everyone says so yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 3: but everyone says it's the best. Everyone has a place
- 14:37Speaker 3: where they go it's the best pizza.
- 14:39Speaker 1: But most people don't know what they what they think.
- 14:41Speaker 6: It's the best of that style of pizza, that old
- 14:43Speaker 6: New York style pizza. You know, Pepees and Lombardes and Patsy's,
- 14:46Speaker 6: they all come from the same nucleus.
- 14:48Speaker 11: It's that style pizza. The the best pizza I've had
- 14:52Speaker 11: in America in general. I had it in Arizona, Arizona easily.
- 15:00Speaker 7: And what made them the best pizza you ever had.
- 15:01Speaker 1: His name was Chris Bianco. He's from the Bronx and
- 15:03Speaker 1: he opened a Pizza Bianco's. There is he.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Shipping in the water or the dove like some of
- 15:08Speaker 3: these places do. Now it was I sat with Chrispian
- 15:11Speaker 3: and I said, you're the You're the person that proves
- 15:14Speaker 3: to me that it's not water, it's the skill.
- 15:16Speaker 13: Wow.
- 15:18Speaker 1: But I mean he was made.
- 15:19Speaker 6: He made bread that looked like we were in the
- 15:22Speaker 6: middle of Tuscany.
- 15:23Speaker 1: It was perfect.
- 15:24Speaker 6: And the pizza he made a pizza and all the
- 15:26Speaker 6: tiny pizza that's basically parmesan reggiano, cheese, pistachios and sliced
- 15:31Speaker 6: read onions.
- 15:35Speaker 3: I gotta tell you, it was otherworldly, lights out, lights
- 15:40Speaker 3: beyond approach.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I mean, it was the stuff that he was making
- 15:43Speaker 1: up there.
- 15:44Speaker 6: You know, he went into the back guard and he
- 15:46Speaker 6: picked out with rugla. You put on the salad. I mean,
- 15:48Speaker 6: come on.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Nice, Yeah, you can't beat that. Yeah, we had fun.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I went with a hotty too. That's something else.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Shot with it.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Carl is out of control. I am out of control.
- 16:07Speaker 1: What am I supposed to do? Well, we're talking about
- 16:10Speaker 1: it when when you know, in the car, when I
- 16:12Speaker 1: was when I called you.
- 16:13Speaker 3: But uh, yeah, man, you're taking out a lot of
- 16:16Speaker 3: a lot of a lot of bears up here. I
- 16:19Speaker 3: don't mean to call the ladies that you've been with bears.
- 16:21Speaker 3: But you know what I'm saying, I'm using that best.
- 16:23Speaker 3: I'm having analogy. I'm having dinner like climbing. He's like,
- 16:26Speaker 3: what are you doing? Do you have a thing?
- 16:29Speaker 14: He goes like again, he goes, don't you go to
- 16:32Speaker 14: the movies or anything? He goes, you don't take them
- 16:35Speaker 14: out for ices or anything. He's got to wrap his
- 16:40Speaker 14: head around it. How many of them think they're the one? No,
- 16:45Speaker 14: I'm not like that.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Oh so it's all on the up and on the
- 16:47Speaker 1: other thing above the table. Yeah no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 16:50Speaker 7: Only divorce. Don't look for a thing from me, none
- 16:53Speaker 7: of that.
- 16:53Speaker 6: But if you want to have some fun, I'm your man,
- 16:56Speaker 6: and they want to and they're one hundred percent quote
- 16:58Speaker 6: with that smart. All right, good for you, buddy, because
- 17:00Speaker 6: you start that romance stuff.
- 17:03Speaker 1: This one girl, I like, keep checking the texts and stuff. Yeah,
- 17:06Speaker 1: I'm getting weird with her, but so I'm not.
- 17:09Speaker 11: I'm frightened enough that I'm not gonna do anything stupid.
- 17:13Speaker 15: He scared me enough. They threw enough hot water on
- 17:16Speaker 15: his dom. He ain't gonna go back to get pet
- 17:20Speaker 15: anytime soon. But every time you get a text.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Her, you're you're getting a little excited. I like, all right,
- 17:27Speaker 1: I mean, I'm literally opie on a scale went to ten.
- 17:30Speaker 6: I'm and that is my new scale because my old
- 17:34Speaker 6: scale was off because I was married.
- 17:35Speaker 10: So like anyone could get in the eights here, Like,
- 17:38Speaker 10: why would she said hi to me eight and a half.
- 17:42Speaker 6: At a new scale, I'm batting heavy close to nine
- 17:47Speaker 6: with this one. She's almost a nine oh boy or
- 17:50Speaker 6: a nine oh boy. How about you slow it down
- 17:53Speaker 6: a little bit. Why slowing down hasn't helped me so far? No,
- 17:59Speaker 6: I mean don't, I mean don't fall yet.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I can't. Let's buy coastal, so it will never happen.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Oh okay, Well that that makes it easier for you, right,
- 18:07Speaker 1: all right, because if it was here, then that'd be
- 18:08Speaker 1: a problem. You'd be in trouble.
- 18:10Speaker 6: She's got this podcast right now, you start having the
- 18:13Speaker 6: same problems right right, Your whole career would repeat itself.
- 18:20Speaker 1: No, she's she's good. I like her. She's funny, that's
- 18:24Speaker 1: the problem. Funny's good. Funny girl, and he's important. Right,
- 18:27Speaker 1: Oh my god, I can't believe how important it is.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I think it's very important. The first funny girl I've
- 18:32Speaker 1: hung out like in a long time.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Like she makes me laugh, right, and I'm not laughing
- 18:36Speaker 3: because I want to get it like hook up because
- 18:38Speaker 3: I laugh at anything, right.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Right, you know what I mean, but like real funny right, No,
- 18:43Speaker 1: I think that's really important. Looks.
- 18:45Speaker 3: I mean when when people talk about like beauties, you know,
- 18:49Speaker 3: oh it's important, as of course, beauty is important as fuck.
- 18:54Speaker 1: But this is how I do it.
- 18:56Speaker 3: It's like you want something like that is beautiful to
- 18:59Speaker 3: you right physically, and then this is the mistake A
- 19:03Speaker 3: lot of guys, Mate, they stop there.
- 19:05Speaker 1: You got to keep doing your research, man.
- 19:07Speaker 3: You got to see if she's got a good personality
- 19:09Speaker 3: if she's not too damaged you got. In my case,
- 19:13Speaker 3: a sense of humor is important. But people see the
- 19:16Speaker 3: face and then there it's done, and then they gnore
- 19:19Speaker 3: all this other shit and then you're a fuck.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Literally talking about seven years of my life. Really, that's
- 19:24Speaker 1: what I did. I didn't. I didn't I didn't do
- 19:27Speaker 1: any research. Really, Oh, I wish there was a lemon law.
- 19:34Speaker 1: You went for a rescue. I did a rescue, right
- 19:37Speaker 1: and the dog gate everybody.
- 19:38Speaker 2: In my house.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Rescue dogs are are cool at first, but you don't
- 19:43Speaker 3: know what problems you're bringing home.
- 19:44Speaker 1: My man, they look great at ken I brought a
- 19:47Speaker 1: kennel full of problems.
- 19:48Speaker 3: They look great at the kennel, But then you bring
- 19:50Speaker 3: that dog home and go and now it's your job
- 19:52Speaker 3: to figure out what.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Happened to this dog, what happened to this rescue.
- 19:56Speaker 6: You know what my problem was was I didn't get
- 19:59Speaker 6: any tips because I didn't hang out with the family
- 20:02Speaker 6: before I got married.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Just kept me separate from the family. And then after
- 20:07Speaker 1: I got married, I met the monsters. Oh man, And
- 20:12Speaker 1: now you know why she kept you away from the family. Really, dude,
- 20:16Speaker 1: how bad scale one to ten fifty.
- 20:19Speaker 6: Really well, it was literally Bonnie and Clyde over here
- 20:23Speaker 6: in that house. Oh my god, Oh they started getting
- 20:27Speaker 6: into my red.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Fourth day we opened Marie right, Carol's old restaurant in
- 20:34Speaker 3: chat in New Jersey for the people that didn't know.
- 20:37Speaker 6: The old man. Her old man gets it, gets it.
- 20:40Speaker 6: I'm yelling at Marie because she's doing something wrong. Fourth day,
- 20:43Speaker 6: we're open, right, we're out of money, we're broken, you
- 20:45Speaker 6: know what I mean. Right, he's walking around the dining room,
- 20:48Speaker 6: wind decks and shit, like, you know, gave himself a job.
- 20:52Speaker 1: So i'm Marie.
- 20:53Speaker 6: He's like, don't you e f and yell at my daughter.
- 20:56Speaker 6: Do your Jersey City X cop want to be a
- 20:59Speaker 6: tough guy. I'm like, bro, none of that here. It
- 21:03Speaker 6: got so heated. The cops came on the fourth day,
- 21:06Speaker 6: the fourth day, and and can.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I can I stop you for a seconds?
- 21:10Speaker 3: So the yelling and screaming was more about, holy fuck,
- 21:12Speaker 3: we gotta make this work.
- 21:13Speaker 6: It wasn't like you were being Yeah, she was never
- 21:15Speaker 6: in a professional environment. She was only a waitress. And
- 21:17Speaker 6: I have all the stress to open this thing.
- 21:19Speaker 3: And it wasn't like you were being just an assholes.
- 21:21Speaker 3: A chef, you were being a chef. Yeah, And and
- 21:24Speaker 3: this is our place and we gotta figure the shit out.
- 21:26Speaker 3: He gets a little heated. Of course, you gonna get people,
- 21:29Speaker 3: you know what I mean, gotcha? So he gets into
- 21:33Speaker 3: it with me, and I get into it with him.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Tops come, I'll never forget sergeant. First time I met him.
- 21:40Speaker 6: First he got Maurice's father, pulls out his like his
- 21:45Speaker 6: old badge and says, get him out of here, like
- 21:48Speaker 6: to kick me out of my own restaurant.
- 21:50Speaker 1: On the fourth day, did they take you? No, the officer,
- 21:54Speaker 1: the other guy, Bobby. She goes, get why what did
- 21:56Speaker 1: he do? Right? You seeing on my daughter? He goes, right,
- 21:58Speaker 1: what did she do? Like an old school, old school cop. Right?
- 22:02Speaker 1: And he saw like the cop was smart enough. I
- 22:04Speaker 1: love this guy to this day.
- 22:04Speaker 6: Bobby sheets he retired now, but he saw that, Like
- 22:08Speaker 6: the dude was like not right.
- 22:10Speaker 1: And I had to close the doors because he wouldn't leave.
- 22:14Speaker 1: It was like two hours orgo.
- 22:15Speaker 6: We lost two hours of business because he wanted a
- 22:17Speaker 6: black app Wow.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Try to get me kicked out of my own store. Wow,
- 22:22Speaker 1: just crazy shit. That's not gonna work.
- 22:24Speaker 3: No, you're the one with all the skills, and at
- 22:27Speaker 3: the times, certainly you were trying to bring her up.
- 22:29Speaker 1: She was new to the whole thing.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Yeah, and this guy just old school cop is like
- 22:34Speaker 3: probably back in the day though. That's all I had
- 22:36Speaker 3: to do was like get him out of here. There
- 22:37Speaker 3: are no questions the right but not anymore right now.
- 22:40Speaker 3: The cops you know, actually, you know they thought it through.
- 22:43Speaker 3: And the cops, I mean, I guess they knew who
- 22:46Speaker 3: I was. That's one good thing about.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Being popular is you know they're like, wait a second.
- 22:51Speaker 1: And then it just it was downhill from there. How
- 22:53Speaker 1: many years did you have? Marie opened it in twenty eleven?
- 22:58Speaker 1: Oh shit, real two was seven years and then that
- 23:02Speaker 1: was it. And then just dealing with the family just
- 23:08Speaker 1: I mean, I don't mind people eating for free, but
- 23:10Speaker 1: it was like every day, like six of them.
- 23:14Speaker 3: You're like, well, that's the problem when you open up
- 23:17Speaker 3: a bar, a restaurant, a bar, restaurant combo. My brother
- 23:22Speaker 3: in law, his father owned fast Eddi's in Huntington. It
- 23:25Speaker 3: was a comedy place, great place, and it was packed
- 23:27Speaker 3: all the time. But it was packed with my brother
- 23:29Speaker 3: in law and my sister's friends. So they felt obligated
- 23:33Speaker 3: to take care of people. So where's the line? And
- 23:37Speaker 3: fast Eddie understood that a lot of these people were here.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Because of my sister and my brother in law.
- 23:43Speaker 3: But they were giving away everything and it wasn't like
- 23:45Speaker 3: they were sneaking or anything. It was it was sort
- 23:47Speaker 3: of the environment unfortunately they were in. And that was
- 23:50Speaker 3: one of the reasons where why fast Eddie had to
- 23:53Speaker 3: end up closing the place.
- 23:54Speaker 1: And people that were.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Going didn't realize, like, yo, I know you're getting a
- 23:58Speaker 3: drink or two for free, but you gotta leave some
- 23:59Speaker 3: money at this bar or this place is not gonna
- 24:01Speaker 3: make it. So I bet a lot of people go
- 24:04Speaker 3: through that when you open up an establishment.
- 24:06Speaker 1: The stuff that I went through with that, I was
- 24:08Speaker 1: just like that was the beginning of the end. I knew,
- 24:11Speaker 1: you know.
- 24:11Speaker 6: I was like, this is a flawed They're not going
- 24:15Speaker 6: to stop until they take it, until this is theirs.
- 24:18Speaker 3: So let me ask you, so early on in your
- 24:20Speaker 3: marriage you knew that there wasn't gonna work.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Why do you stay? Why does anybody stay?
- 24:27Speaker 3: No, I'm asking a question that I think most of
- 24:30Speaker 3: us want to know the answer to. I got, like
- 24:33Speaker 3: I told you in the car when I kissed that girl, right,
- 24:37Speaker 3: she ended up being my girlfriend for like eight years.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I knew when I first made out with her that
- 24:41Speaker 3: the chemistry was wrong and I should not be with
- 24:43Speaker 3: this person, and not because she was a bad person.
- 24:47Speaker 3: She wasn't, actually, but the chemistry wasn't right, and for
- 24:50Speaker 3: some reason I stayed for eight years. I think it's
- 24:53Speaker 3: because of how I was brought up, unfortunately, and obviously.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Answer to I gotta tell you. If I tell you
- 25:00Speaker 1: the reason, you'll think it's the dumbest thing ever. I
- 25:02Speaker 1: never wanted to be divorced. Why is that dumb?
- 25:05Speaker 6: I think a lot of people I never want I
- 25:07Speaker 6: never wanted to fail on such a scale.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I never wanted to be a failure at that level. Yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 1: but that's not dumb. I'm just telling you a lot.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Of people would say the exact same thing, because if
- 25:16Speaker 3: you get divorced and the relationship breaks up, you feel like,
- 25:19Speaker 3: in a weird way of failure.
- 25:20Speaker 6: Because here's the thing, this sounds crazy, but I thought
- 25:23Speaker 6: it was my punishment for me not being smart enough
- 25:27Speaker 6: to see what I was getting into.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Is that crazy? Like that's how I think in my mind,
- 25:32Speaker 1: Like this is your own fault. You dummy. You should
- 25:34Speaker 1: have figured it.
- 25:35Speaker 6: You're smart enough to not get shot, to make millions,
- 25:38Speaker 6: to do this, and that this whole thing snuck under
- 25:41Speaker 6: your radar.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Now you lay in your bed. That's like, that's how
- 25:45Speaker 1: I punished myself.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Yeah, but you're really street smart. So this is this
- 25:48Speaker 3: was actually fascinating. It was an anomaly for me, and
- 25:51Speaker 3: I was like this, this was the one. And it
- 25:55Speaker 3: was funny. When I was growing up, my find of said.
- 25:57Speaker 1: We all got that whitey elephant. There's all there's that
- 26:01Speaker 1: girl out there that's gonna get you. It's a matter
- 26:05Speaker 1: of time. And I used to be like.
- 26:08Speaker 10: Whatever, gangster guy, thirty side pieces, what do you know?
- 26:13Speaker 1: Right?
- 26:14Speaker 6: And then and then I was sitting there and I
- 26:17Speaker 6: was like, fuck, they got me.
- 26:20Speaker 1: And you knew. I knew as somebody knew. It was
- 26:23Speaker 1: my fault.
- 26:23Speaker 7: But somewhere in your head, did you feel like I
- 26:25Speaker 7: could work this out?
- 26:26Speaker 3: Like I could work out a restaurant that's going bed
- 26:30Speaker 3: or you know what I mean? Like professionally, you were
- 26:32Speaker 3: in some tough situations and you knew you could figure
- 26:35Speaker 3: it out and turn things around.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Did you feel like you can turn it around? No? No, no,
- 26:41Speaker 1: And so you just went down with the ship.
- 26:43Speaker 6: I knew nobody loved me in that house, nobody, no one, nobody,
- 26:47Speaker 6: the two.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Kids, it was all. Everybody was in on it except me.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I was the money guy. I knew it.
- 26:54Speaker 7: What the fuck?
- 26:54Speaker 6: Bro just the dog dog look at me, He's like,
- 26:57Speaker 6: I don't know about you, right, I gotta go out
- 26:59Speaker 6: time and take the ship.
- 27:00Speaker 1: And it's me and you truck laps.
- 27:06Speaker 11: Wow.
- 27:07Speaker 1: So you must have been relieved when the whole thing
- 27:09Speaker 1: finally blew up, like you wouldn't believe.
- 27:12Speaker 3: But I also know, because I know you passed the
- 27:15Speaker 3: podcasting that.
- 27:16Speaker 1: You were you were pretty bummed. I was emotionally. I
- 27:19Speaker 1: was bummed. I was bummed emotionally because because I had
- 27:22Speaker 1: to give up everything I built, that sucked.
- 27:27Speaker 6: I didn't think it was gonna work out that way,
- 27:29Speaker 6: you know, but it ended up being the only way
- 27:31Speaker 6: it could work out.
- 27:32Speaker 1: So you're relieved, like you wouldn't believe.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Up.
- 27:35Speaker 1: I feel I feel like I got my life back.
- 27:39Speaker 1: You know, we all do it, though, Man, I just
- 27:44Speaker 1: sitting there.
- 27:44Speaker 6: I remember I was sitting in a park like, there's
- 27:47Speaker 6: no way out of this, right, There's no way for
- 27:49Speaker 6: me to get out of it. Finally she figured out
- 27:52Speaker 6: a way to get out, which was great in a way.
- 27:56Speaker 6: Maybe it's like she's like, you know, I remember I
- 27:57Speaker 6: came up. She's like, we're done. I'm like, shut up.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Really I.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Could have faster. I couldn't got a lawyer faster. In
- 28:04Speaker 1: a way, you were happy that.
- 28:06Speaker 3: You almost should thank her that she was the one
- 28:08Speaker 3: that figured out a way out, because you weren't going
- 28:09Speaker 3: to figure out a way out anytime soon.
- 28:11Speaker 1: You go down show kidding, man, I just came in.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I came into my mind. I said, this is it.
- 28:17Speaker 1: This is my own doing. You know what I mean?
- 28:21Speaker 1: Because my dad enabled my mom. So I think we
- 28:24Speaker 1: learned that as kids. You know, I and this is
- 28:26Speaker 1: going to be embarrassing, but I don't care. I like
- 28:29Speaker 1: throwing the shit out there.
- 28:30Speaker 3: I wanted out of my old relationship forever, and I
- 28:34Speaker 3: just didn't do it. And one of the thoughts that
- 28:36Speaker 3: was in my head was like I was such a
- 28:38Speaker 3: catch that I didn't know how she would survive without me.
- 28:42Speaker 3: So I stayed in this relationship even though I wasn't happy.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Or how stupid is that? But that's a normal thought.
- 28:49Speaker 1: You think that's guys with power, you know, what I mean.
- 28:52Speaker 6: I like I went in this relationship I got when
- 28:54Speaker 6: I got married, I was crush a tron in New
- 28:59Speaker 6: York City, right, I had access to everything.
- 29:02Speaker 1: I was single until I was thirty six thirty seven
- 29:08Speaker 1: in New York City.
- 29:09Speaker 3: As a chef forget it right, You understand, I was exhausted.
- 29:13Speaker 6: I was exhausted. The girls come up to here. I
- 29:20Speaker 6: knew I could mouth what they were gonna say to me. Right,
- 29:23Speaker 6: I'd like, you left your scarf, right, Okay, tomorrow eight o'clock,
- 29:26Speaker 6: come get your scarf that you left. Yeah, And I'd
- 29:29Speaker 6: go to the box of scarves And'd be like, was
- 29:30Speaker 6: here's the pink one.
- 29:32Speaker 1: A lot of big scarfs here.
- 29:35Speaker 6: But but you know, it gets to the point where
- 29:38Speaker 6: and then I guess that's what happened. I lulled myself
- 29:40Speaker 6: into and they got me boy hook line and say.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Fuck clean, that's a gypsy. Yeah clean kill gotta watch
- 29:48Speaker 1: out for the gypsy.
- 29:49Speaker 6: Didn't I didn't do any I thought I was smarter
- 29:52Speaker 6: than everybody. I'd laugh at people, Carl, you get married,
- 29:55Speaker 6: You're on third base. Why would you get married? You
- 29:56Speaker 6: almost a whole plate? Ah Ah.
- 29:59Speaker 3: I say this carefully because I'm team Carl, but it
- 30:03Speaker 3: might show what kind of person she is.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I always liked her. Is that bad to say? I
- 30:10Speaker 1: liked her too?
- 30:11Speaker 3: I married her like I didn't see uh, I didn't
- 30:14Speaker 3: see any of the cracks. Well, it was well crafted,
- 30:17Speaker 3: that's right. That's why I bring this up very much.
- 30:19Speaker 6: See, I'm not a well crafted individual like you see.
- 30:22Speaker 6: All my cracks are in the front. You know what
- 30:23Speaker 6: I mean, right, you see what, you'll see what, You'll
- 30:26Speaker 6: see what I'm up to usually because I'll tell you
- 30:28Speaker 6: you know what I mean. But and it's funny.
- 30:30Speaker 3: It's funny you should say that she figured out the
- 30:32Speaker 3: way out because with me, I was miserable. I was
- 30:34Speaker 3: in this relationship. I felt like, you know, I was
- 30:37Speaker 3: trapped and didn't know how to get out. But I
- 30:39Speaker 3: never got married, never bought a house with her, never
- 30:42Speaker 3: had kids, thank god. Right five weeks after I got
- 30:45Speaker 3: fired from w ANYW driving home from was it Montreal
- 30:49Speaker 3: or I think I was driving home from Montreal.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Halfway through the ride.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Home, I went, yeah, you're you're not into this anymore,
- 30:57Speaker 3: are you?
- 30:58Speaker 5: And she goes no, And then had four or five
- 31:01Speaker 5: more hours in the car, knowing that it was over
- 31:04Speaker 5: and at that point I should have said, you know what,
- 31:06Speaker 5: take the car, I don't need it, and I should
- 31:08Speaker 5: have just fucking.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Got out and that was it. But that's how it
- 31:11Speaker 3: ended for me. And know why, because I didn't have
- 31:14Speaker 3: my job anymore. I wasn't I wasn't opening from opening
- 31:17Speaker 3: Anthony with that big run at anyw. I was just
- 31:20Speaker 3: a schmuck at this point I got fired. And five
- 31:22Speaker 3: weeks later later I said, you're not into this anymore?
- 31:25Speaker 1: She said no.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I bet if I was still, you know, on top
- 31:29Speaker 3: of the radio world, she would have said, no, I'm
- 31:31Speaker 3: totally into this. Still goes back, goes back to our
- 31:35Speaker 3: our point about you know, people sort of turning their
- 31:39Speaker 3: backs on you when when when the chips are down.
- 31:42Speaker 1: But there's a great story.
- 31:43Speaker 3: So I knew this relationship was wrong for a long time,
- 31:46Speaker 3: and we went to I think it was I think
- 31:48Speaker 3: it was Nantucket.
- 31:49Speaker 1: We had a great time up there in Nantucket.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Carl and me and my ex were on the ferry
- 31:54Speaker 3: back to Cape Cod and her sister and brother in
- 32:00Speaker 3: law we're also on this trip, and all of a
- 32:02Speaker 3: sudden he grabs me.
- 32:03Speaker 1: It's beautiful.
- 32:04Speaker 3: We're in the middle of the ocean on a ferry,
- 32:06Speaker 3: and he goes, come upstairs, you know. So we go
- 32:08Speaker 3: upstairs to the open air on this ferry. He looks
- 32:11Speaker 3: at me and he's scared to say it out loud,
- 32:13Speaker 3: even though we're on the top deck and there below.
- 32:16Speaker 1: He goes, Greg, run, run, go to see my face.
- 32:23Speaker 1: It's too late for me. Save yourself. Run, And he's
- 32:28Speaker 1: whispering this. He's like, you're still a young guy. It's
- 32:32Speaker 1: too late for me.
- 32:33Speaker 3: I love you like a brother, but I don't want
- 32:36Speaker 3: I don't want us to be brother in laws.
- 32:37Speaker 6: Run.
- 32:39Speaker 3: And then we went downstairs, and he made believe everything
- 32:42Speaker 3: was all all on the up and up.
- 32:44Speaker 6: Wow.
- 32:45Speaker 1: And I think it's still it still lasted a couple
- 32:48Speaker 1: of years after that.
- 32:49Speaker 3: So that's why I asked, because I don't know. I
- 32:51Speaker 3: think every guy does it. I think every guy and
- 32:54Speaker 3: probably women too. They're in a relationship but they don't
- 32:56Speaker 3: know how to get out of it. And you know,
- 32:58Speaker 3: maybe maybe maybe the chaos is comforting, Maybe the chaos
- 33:02Speaker 3: becomes normal, Maybe the misery, you know, becomes normal.
- 33:06Speaker 7: I don't know, but I think I got I got that.
- 33:10Speaker 6: I just uh, that's a screen door, No bear the
- 33:13Speaker 6: screen door the wind.
- 33:15Speaker 1: So I just got I just dealt with it.
- 33:18Speaker 6: It's like it's like doing the bid, you know what
- 33:20Speaker 6: I mean, you get locked up, you just gotta put
- 33:23Speaker 6: your head down and do the bid right, do the time.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Why as humans do we do this? I don't know, dude,
- 33:29Speaker 1: but I didn't see any other way. I was like,
- 33:31Speaker 1: I don't want to blow this thing up, you know
- 33:32Speaker 1: what I mean, I don't want to.
- 33:35Speaker 3: I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna talk to talkspace talkspace
- 33:38Speaker 3: dot com and ask them why do we do this?
- 33:41Speaker 1: Why do we do this?
- 33:42Speaker 6: There's gotta be some guy from Brooklyn on talkspace because
- 33:45Speaker 6: I told you so, especially someone like you, because I
- 33:49Speaker 6: know you're incredibly street smart.
- 33:51Speaker 1: But that's when you read people. I could read them
- 33:53Speaker 1: all the way. And the problem is when I read.
- 33:55Speaker 6: The whole story, it was already too late, and I'm like,
- 33:59Speaker 6: oh no, wow.
- 34:02Speaker 1: And I just sat there. I was like, oh knock,
- 34:06Speaker 1: it's over. It's over. Before it even started. I was like,
- 34:10Speaker 1: how is how did I? How did I get here?
- 34:14Speaker 6: And I just I it and I said, the last
- 34:16Speaker 6: thing I'm gonna do is be depressed about it.
- 34:20Speaker 1: And I and I continue to just live right, you
- 34:24Speaker 1: know what I mean.
- 34:25Speaker 6: And I think that that exasperated the situation because then
- 34:28Speaker 6: she got angry.
- 34:28Speaker 13: That I was having the time of my life right right.
- 34:39Speaker 13: She wanted me to be miserable. And I'm straight up
- 34:42Speaker 13: like walking around with flip flops, eat and con candy.
- 34:46Speaker 10: She's throwing everything at you, and she throwing everything at me,
- 34:48Speaker 10: and I'm.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Just like, what, you gotta smile. I gotta stop.
- 34:51Speaker 6: It because because I gave up, I didn't so I
- 34:57Speaker 6: wouldn't fight about nothing, you know what I mean. She's like,
- 35:00Speaker 6: she's like, I don't want you at the restaurant when
- 35:04Speaker 6: I'm at the restaurant. And when I was like, just
- 35:07Speaker 6: tell me the days, She's like Thursday, I'm like sweet.
- 35:13Speaker 7: She's pulling out her playbook, throwing everything.
- 35:15Speaker 6: I'm just saying stuff about me, like you're a piecing garbage.
- 35:19Speaker 10: I'm like, yep, just smiled. I smiled the whole way
- 35:25Speaker 10: through Thanksgiving.
- 35:27Speaker 6: I go to I go to the Thanksgiving and and
- 35:30Speaker 6: like her family would would take my restaurant depot card
- 35:34Speaker 6: and our checks and.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Go buy everything for Thanksgiving on them on my tab.
- 35:38Speaker 10: And I'm just sitting there with my knife and Fork,
- 35:41Speaker 10: and I paid for just smiling past the gravy like
- 35:46Speaker 10: in yacht.
- 35:47Speaker 1: See with the kids.
- 35:48Speaker 6: I didn't give one fuck because I knew and it
- 35:52Speaker 6: would make everyone nuts because they're all trying to kill
- 35:54Speaker 6: me and they're huddling in the kitchen.
- 35:56Speaker 7: This should work, this should this should break, this should break.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I mean, you did it before, you know what I mean?
- 36:01Speaker 1: Old though? Did she comes from generations of you know
- 36:03Speaker 1: what I mean? You think bro? Father married five times,
- 36:07Speaker 1: mother married two times. She's she's on the deuce, right.
- 36:11Speaker 1: These were pros. This was this was the NFL.
- 36:14Speaker 10: I'm just getting tackled every hit and getting up like radio.
- 36:22Speaker 1: You were. I was rudy, bro, you couldn't kill me
- 36:26Speaker 1: after Thanksgiving.
- 36:27Speaker 7: They're taking you out on their shoulders.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Carl Carl Carl Car.
- 36:35Speaker 14: And I was just in previous and premised to everything,
- 36:39Speaker 14: you know what I mean, Like I'd be like, hey,
- 36:42Speaker 14: did you see that watch?
- 36:43Speaker 9: You know?
- 36:43Speaker 1: I know she took it, you know what I mean?
- 36:46Speaker 1: She's like, no, where are you going gonna go? Buy
- 36:48Speaker 1: nother one?
- 36:51Speaker 6: Carl Carl pro I was in California.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Listen to this.
- 36:55Speaker 6: I was in California and I come home and she
- 37:00Speaker 6: sold my car.
- 37:01Speaker 1: I said, down payments so she could buy a big
- 37:03Speaker 1: Mercedes wagon. Right, So now I had no car, just
- 37:06Speaker 1: a van. So that would make anybody nuts. And I
- 37:10Speaker 1: was like going, I walk into Sweet Bends.
- 37:19Speaker 10: She's like, car, thanks, and I just sit there and
- 37:23Speaker 10: open a bottle of bourbon and well, you know, like
- 37:26Speaker 10: she had her friends over.
- 37:27Speaker 1: They drank.
- 37:29Speaker 6: They used to of my bottles of Pappy van Winkle
- 37:32Speaker 6: to make mixers with soda and stuff and like drinking
- 37:35Speaker 6: my friends.
- 37:36Speaker 1: And I came home and I was like, how do
- 37:38Speaker 1: you drink the Pappy good?
- 37:40Speaker 10: Right, She's literally her real hair, her fake hair.
- 37:48Speaker 1: All this is working this wagon. And I whistled through it.
- 37:52Speaker 1: I whistled through faking a dog for a walk.
- 37:56Speaker 6: I come back on Tuesday. Oh it was great. And
- 38:01Speaker 6: like if I had an event and.
- 38:03Speaker 7: I had to book, like they booked the event, you know,
- 38:04Speaker 7: they booked like the day before.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I'm like booking a week before.
- 38:08Speaker 10: So I'm liking Miami, just just hanging out.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Good for you, body.
- 38:13Speaker 6: But but I couldn't think. I couldn't get pinched on anything.
- 38:16Speaker 6: Not a cheater. I've never been a cheater, you know
- 38:19Speaker 6: what I mean. So it wasn't that wasn't my thing.
- 38:21Speaker 6: So I'm not a cheater. I'd bring all the money home.
- 38:25Speaker 1: I was untouchable, right, So I just skated through this whole.
- 38:28Speaker 6: Thing while people were going insane around you and just
- 38:31Speaker 6: I would walk into the living room and there was
- 38:34Speaker 6: all those gypsies in near Give me daggers.
- 38:35Speaker 1: I'm wanting cool ranch doritos. I got a ban Dan
- 38:40Speaker 1: on the dog. You want some Cheetos. I'm like, uh hey,
- 38:45Speaker 1: anybody want anything from duncan.
- 38:49Speaker 10: Du d anybody wanted anything?
- 38:55Speaker 1: You know, no one would talk to me.
- 38:57Speaker 6: I'm like, I'm in the back grilling hot dogs by
- 38:59Speaker 6: myself with like with my little bluetooth radio, like just
- 39:02Speaker 6: listening to free Bird, dressed like.
- 39:06Speaker 7: A complete old homeless man.
- 39:08Speaker 1: That's good. Oh it was the best. It was. That's
- 39:12Speaker 1: how you get through it, right there, let's get through it.
- 39:13Speaker 6: I whistled through the whole thing until finally she's like,
- 39:16Speaker 6: all right, well right, how about this?
- 39:18Speaker 1: How about this? I'm like, yeah, that wunds good to yep,
- 39:22Speaker 1: that one works.

- 39:28Speaker 2: Not me.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Well that's what they wanted me, you know, because if I.
- 39:30Speaker 6: Did, it would have been a lot different, right, I
- 39:32Speaker 6: understand this and everybody's the victim.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Right, you know what I mean, But that's not happen.
- 39:36Speaker 1: But you're clean cleaners got out clean clean is a
- 39:38Speaker 1: whistle o Carl. That's funny.
- 39:40Speaker 5: It was.
- 39:41Speaker 3: I mean, it's tragic and funny, but that's that's canity.
- 39:46Speaker 1: They couldn't got me. They never knocked me down right.
- 39:49Speaker 1: They never never knocked me down right, never knocked me
- 39:52Speaker 1: down right. They used to come up with crazy stuff.
- 39:56Speaker 6: They used to go like, you got golf balls all
- 39:58Speaker 6: over your face, and like I could more, let's know
- 40:01Speaker 6: what you got, let's go.
- 40:02Speaker 1: They wouldn't tell me about family parties and then go
- 40:04Speaker 1: and I'd wake up and everyone's in the house. Right
- 40:06Speaker 1: then I would just I mean, but they don't think
- 40:08Speaker 1: things seriously. They'd be like I go on Facebook. I'm like,
- 40:11Speaker 1: there it is.
- 40:11Speaker 10: And I would show up like two hours later, Hey
- 40:14Speaker 10: you guys forgot about me, right to a cheeseburger and
- 40:21Speaker 10: everyone was just looking at me, like what's for dinner?
- 40:24Speaker 10: But then I bring the dog and my dog is

- 40:29Speaker 10: the barbecue. He's eating everyone's shoes, knocked down the watermelon salad.
- 40:33Speaker 1: It's a mess.
- 40:34Speaker 10: I'm just sitting there and just making sangreea anybody want
- 40:38Speaker 10: a little segre.
- 40:41Speaker 1: And they're just like, we hate this spit, we want
- 40:43Speaker 1: him dead. Oh they're still racist. It was a good time.
- 40:49Speaker 3: I mean, I mean I lived right through it, right,
- 40:51Speaker 3: because I learned really early on it was.
- 40:53Speaker 1: On it was this was a this was a battle
- 40:56Speaker 1: for my life, right, know what I mean? So I
- 40:57Speaker 1: was like, guys, I don't know when I'm gonna end
- 41:00Speaker 1: up in a ditch.
- 41:01Speaker 6: So it is fiesta time and mayo every day and
- 41:07Speaker 6: never caught.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I never got caught, and even not even flirting nothing right,
- 41:12Speaker 1: which made everybody nuts. Lets the cheese on the case.
- 41:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I would just you know, we'd go on vacations
- 41:19Speaker 6: and she would just try to like we went to
- 41:21Speaker 6: we went to, uh, I just gotta check from from
- 41:24Speaker 6: some TV thing, and she took it all and rented
- 41:27Speaker 6: like this ginormous sweet and Caesar's Palace.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Us like the top four. It must have been. I
- 41:31Speaker 1: don't know how much it was.
- 41:32Speaker 6: It was like five white babies a night, that's it.
- 41:36Speaker 1: And I'm like, this is bullshit, you know what I mean?
- 41:39Speaker 1: And I walk in, I'm like, whoa nine TVs.
- 41:45Speaker 3: But outside the door where you're like, I'm like, let's
- 41:47Speaker 3: get it, let's get it together.
- 41:49Speaker 6: And then you open up the door like whoa exactly,
- 41:52Speaker 6: I'm like, just take it in, just take it all,
- 41:55Speaker 6: you know.
- 41:55Speaker 13: What I mean.
- 41:55Speaker 1: I'm like, she's gonna take it all anyway. Let me enjoy.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Let me enjoy it. While I'm here.
- 42:00Speaker 6: You are so like she would buy stuff like she
- 42:03Speaker 6: would be like, oh, I'll get this purse it's like
- 42:04Speaker 6: five grand.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I'm like, get to because I knew the money was
- 42:08Speaker 1: I'm not getting it right. So I figured got free
- 42:12Speaker 1: Corona's at the Tory Bridge store. I'm gonna sit here
- 42:15Speaker 1: and get hammered their car and it was a former No.
- 42:26Speaker 1: I had the time of my life. And then I
- 42:28Speaker 1: would eat whatever I wanted. You know, everybody in the
- 42:30Speaker 1: house is eating salads. I'm like, Mickey Dee's run a
- 42:32Speaker 1: half hour, get your order in, take your order in.
- 42:38Speaker 1: But everybody was in on it except me, and I
- 42:40Speaker 1: knew it. So that was that's it. It was what
- 42:43Speaker 1: it was. I learned a lot, right. I didn't learn
- 42:46Speaker 1: what to do. I learned what not to do.
- 42:48Speaker 7: And With that, we're at the creepy cabin once again.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Why don't we we gotta hit the rope bro. Yeah,
