- 0:06Speaker 1: hosts in an instance. Now back to the Marximo Show
- 0:10Speaker 1: on WOR.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Maggie in Iowa. Maggie,
- 0:17Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Oh hey, hi, thanks for taking my call.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Well they got phones there in Iowa. Now, wow, that's
- 0:25Speaker 2: very good.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, we do. Yeah, isn't that nice?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yeah? Excellent.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Hey, I just have a question. I just followed this
- 0:32Speaker 3: race from a distance and listen to you in the morning,
- 0:35Speaker 3: and I'm just curious. Why isn't anybody asking Mondami about
- 0:40Speaker 3: his record as an assembling man. Didn't he only like
- 0:44Speaker 3: bring one piece of legislation to the floor.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good question. This is the Democratic model.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Now he since Obama, you get a slick look on
- 0:54Speaker 2: salesman of a guy with the no record. And Obama
- 0:58Speaker 2: did the same thing when he was in cong when
- 1:00Speaker 2: he was in the state, did absolutely nothing. He barely
- 1:02Speaker 2: showed up, didn't vote, didn't do anything that you deliberately
- 1:05Speaker 2: don't have a record that way, there's no problem.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Well that's yeah, that's what I'm thinking clear out here.
- 1:10Speaker 3: In Iowa. Why does somebody ask those questions? What could
- 1:15Speaker 3: he vote on?
- 1:16Speaker 2: Well, it's a good point. The problem is that you
- 1:18Speaker 2: only got one debate left and it's the most biased
- 1:20Speaker 2: partisan Democrat moderator Errol Lewis, So he's not going to
- 1:23Speaker 2: ask that. But good point, Maggie, thanks for calling. Thanks
- 1:27Speaker 2: a lot. Let's go to uh Patrick and Scarsdale. Patrick,
- 1:30Speaker 2: How you doing very well? Mark?
- 1:32Speaker 4: How are you today?
- 1:33Speaker 2: Good? Good?
- 1:35Speaker 4: Now, I'm just thinking of Curtis's path to victory. We
- 1:38Speaker 4: know Staten Island is very Republican and it's highly likely
- 1:41Speaker 4: he'll carry that ninety. Aren't areas of the Bronxe, like
- 1:46Speaker 4: the Rivedale area high Jewish population he could possibly explore
- 1:51Speaker 4: as well.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, obviously he'll do very very well with
- 1:54Speaker 2: the Jewish population. Problem is the Jewish population it's not
- 1:57Speaker 2: as big as you think percentage wise, and not enough
- 1:59Speaker 2: to care an election, but it's an important group and
- 2:03Speaker 2: he'll do that. You got you got a lot of
- 2:05Speaker 2: Republican votes in Queens Staten Island, believe it or not,
- 2:09Speaker 2: in the Bronx. So, uh, the problem is and Curtis
- 2:13Speaker 2: been very good with the TV commercials and you know,
- 2:17Speaker 2: social media ads and all that. They've been a he's
- 2:20Speaker 2: been barred bombarding the airways with great commercials. Clombo's got
- 2:23Speaker 2: a couple of commercials. They're not that effective. Mom Donnie
- 2:26Speaker 2: is mostly a social media very good there, but we'll see.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Second debate is Wednesday night. But that's on New York One,
- 2:34Speaker 2: a little watch channel, and they got the most slanted
- 2:37Speaker 2: bias moderator eron Lewis doing it. Let's go to John
- 2:41Speaker 2: in Westchester, John, how you doing.
- 2:44Speaker 5: Okay? I just wanted to make a mention of the
- 2:48Speaker 5: great aura Governor Clomo when he was running and uh
- 2:57Speaker 5: abrash up came up, he would say, I'm personally against
- 3:03Speaker 5: it that the people wanted.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, the only thing is abortion is not an
- 3:10Speaker 2: issue here. It's absolutely not an issue. Abortion is totally
- 3:12Speaker 2: legal in New York, always will be it. Never ever
- 3:15Speaker 2: it will be in jeopardy. It's not an issue in
- 3:17Speaker 2: this campaign. Was not an issue in the presidential campaign either.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Let's go to you know problem. We're getting all these
- 3:23Speaker 2: great calls. The only problem is, and we love all
- 3:26Speaker 2: of you, but you're not in New York City, you're
- 3:27Speaker 2: not actual voters. Scarsdale, Iowa, Long Island. I mean, keep calling,
- 3:33Speaker 2: but you're not the voters who can That's the problem.
- 3:36Speaker 2: If the whole Tri state area could vote mom, Donnie
- 3:38Speaker 2: wouldn't have a chance. If the whole just metropolitan area
- 3:41Speaker 2: and the suburbs could vote mom, Donnie wouldn't have a chance.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Let's go to Bill in New Jersey. Bill, how you
- 3:46Speaker 2: doing good?
- 3:48Speaker 6: And thank you?
- 3:48Speaker 2: Mark?
- 3:49Speaker 6: Speaking of both New York and New Jersey elections, could
- 3:52Speaker 6: you please tell your political context that Jack Chitdarelli needs
- 3:56Speaker 6: to hammer away on the issue of no cash ball
- 4:00Speaker 6: the crime problem in I haven't seen too much.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's that's not how it works. People used
- 4:07Speaker 2: to do it. I haven't seen it. It doesn't matter.
- 4:09Speaker 2: As long as everybody else sees it, that's what works.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Let's go to Fran in Massapequa. Fran, how you doing,
- 4:15Speaker 2: my man? What's that baby? Listen to the bottom line
- 4:18Speaker 2: is this.
- 4:18Speaker 4: It's the race in Manhattan.
- 4:20Speaker 2: I in New York, I call it Manhattan.
- 4:23Speaker 4: It starts with the right candidates.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Look at the candidates the Republicans have putt and the
- 4:28Speaker 2: perfect example that he got curtis good guy. What candidate?
- 4:33Speaker 2: What candidate would you put in?
- 4:35Speaker 5: No?
- 4:36Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know that there you go.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I asked a Republican Party chairman. I said, if it
- 4:42Speaker 2: wasn't Curtis, who are you going to go with?
- 4:43Speaker 5: Then? Uh.
- 4:44Speaker 2: He didn't say exactly, but he kind of hinted, like
- 4:47Speaker 2: nobody else stepped forward. That's the problem. Nobody else stepped forward.
- 4:51Speaker 5: Uh.
- 4:52Speaker 2: CLMO has been trying to hit Curtis hard all day,
- 4:55Speaker 2: yelling and screaming he's the candidate of the party, bosses,
- 4:58Speaker 2: he's the candidate of Patakia Giuliani, and they're only doing
- 5:02Speaker 2: it because they think Mamdani will hurt the Democratic Party.
- 5:06Speaker 2: That's the only you know. I've talked to Giuliani and
- 5:09Speaker 2: Pataki even last night about this. That's not the reason
- 5:13Speaker 2: they're doing it. They really believe in Curtis. Giuliani believes
- 5:17Speaker 2: Curtis is the closest thing you're ever going to get
- 5:18Speaker 2: to him as mayor. He even calls him Giuliani two
- 5:21Speaker 2: point zero. Pataki is very much behind Curtis, even helped
- 5:25Speaker 2: him with the debate prep all of that stuff. Hey,
- 5:29Speaker 2: we'll take some more calls later. We'll get back to
- 5:31Speaker 2: the debate. When we come back. We'll talk to Ronda sheer.
- 5:35Speaker 2: If you're thinking of moving to Florida, she's the expert
- 5:38Speaker 2: on this. We'll give you the ups and the downs
- 5:40Speaker 2: and lots of other things to talk to her about.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Coming up next on seven to ten wor
