- 0:22It's time for The Truth Be Told with Booker Scott.
- 0:26JD Vance and others came home from the Middle East with no deal with Iran.
- 0:33But Artemis did come home, and it was an incredible sight on Friday night.
- 0:37I'm Booker.
- 0:38This is The Truth Be Told.
- 0:40As always on Mondays, we have Mondays with Matt.
- 0:42Matt Palumbo is here.
- 0:43Matt, what did you think of Artemis when it came back to Earth?
- 0:47Oh, it was really awesome.
- 0:48I love watching stuff like that.
- 0:51The video I saw online, too, of the re-entry of the perspective, you know, from the astronauts themselves recording it.
- 0:58It was one of the coolest things I've seen.
- 1:00And I will say I really feel like there wasn't.
- 1:04I know there's a lot of coverage of it, but I feel like there really wasn't anywhere near as much as there usually is or should be.
- 1:10And you know, I don't know if I'm reading into it that they thought maybe it would help Trump or his administration because it was objectively cool, but uh no, I I thought uh I wish the media talked about it more.
- 1:22Well, Trump should get some credit for this.
- 1:24He was the one that in his first term, he made Artemis possible.
- 1:29And and some of this technology goes back 20, 22, 23 years, but it was Donald Trump that did that, and he also did the Space Force.
- 1:36So he was instrumental in making this happen.
- 1:39I wanted your perspective though, from someone that's 32 years old.
- 1:43Do you remember the space shuttles and when that was going on, or are you too young for even to remember that?
- 1:50I feel like I'm too young to remember that.
- 1:52I mean, I remember there was one where it disintegrated upon re-entry.
- 1:57I believe I was alive for that one.
- 1:58Obviously, Challenger is landing a little bit more before my time as well.
- 2:04But uh I would say you were probably eight, nine, ten when Columbia happened.
- 2:10Yes, okay.
- 2:12Yes.
- 2:12So that was about your age then.
- 2:14But I what is your perspective on the space and Artemis and going to the moon to then go to Mars?
- 2:21Are you excited about it?
- 2:22What what were your feelings like when you saw this happen?
- 2:26Uh very.
- 2:27Uh, and I I've noticed uh you know, a political divide on this issue where it's one naturally you wouldn't think there is one, but I I I saw some liberals and grant this is from the furthest left people claiming this is just like colonialism over again, and I'm thinking there's no people being colonized.
- 2:47It's a blank slate we're colonizing, and they still have a problem with it.
- 2:51So there's something of the left that is fundamentally anti-science, uh, anti-progress.
- 2:56And I've also seen opinions that are like uh, well, we could have you know fed the hungry with this money, and uh we spend far more on food stamps than we do on NASA, so I I don't really understand where that argument's coming from.
- 3:10And you know, if we listen to these people that instead of scientific advancement, we always do some liberal pet projects.
- 3:17We would never advance at all.
- 3:20And the thing too about scientific explanation uh exploration, in addition to just being cool, and uh I think I I think some things are worth doing just because they're all inspiring.
- 3:31We do get scientific achievements out of them, and they are achievements that we cannot even conceive of until they are discovered, and things that change our lives, and that's you know, it shouldn't be the only reason we do it.
- 3:42We we do get a lot back from it as well.
- 3:44So even the technology that we get from uh creating the rockets and everything that it takes to get there, we get a lot of benefit from that as well.
- 3:53Um, you know, that was a big thing with Apollo.
- 3:56We got so much technology from going to the moon the first time.
- 3:59It's gonna be interesting to see what we get here.
- 4:01You brought up something though that I want to hit on, and that was the political divide.
- 4:06As I watched Artemis come back and splash down in the ocean on Friday night, I thought, well, here is one thing that is not political.
- 4:14Artemis is making America great again.
- 4:17We should all have great pride in what we're watching.
- 4:20The the discovery, the courage, the uh ingenuity.
- 4:24You know, that is what America is and always has been, and we should all be proud of that regardless of whether we're left or right or conservative, Democrat.
- 4:33It just doesn't matter.
- 4:34And it shouldn't matter here, but then you say, well, I've seen some people on the left that are making political statements out of this.
- 4:40Oh, and and this isn't new either.
- 4:42I I was looking back, I was wondering to myself, is this something new?
- 4:46And if you go back to the time of the moon landing, you can find old newspaper articles of famous leftists dismissing it, kind of bragging about how little they care.
- 4:57Um there's a psychotic photo of a woman saying something like I I'm gonna get a bush with the numbers, but it says something like, you know, uh it costs us uh you know eight dollars a day to have an astronaut and defeat an astronaut in space, we could feed a kid on earth for four dollars, and the woman who was holding a sign is comically obese, which is why you know what why in my opinion it's so iconic.
- 5:21But uh the you know, these sentiments are nothing new from the left, and thank God we have easy not have them in control right now.
- 5:27Well, let's listen to astronaut Victor Glover.
- 5:30This was him on Sunday after Artemis came back to Earth.
- 5:34Um, when this started on April 3rd, uh I wanted to thank God in public.
- 5:41And I want to thank God again.
- 5:44Because uh even bigger than my challenge trying to describe what we went through.
- 5:51The gratitude of seeing what we saw.
- 5:55Doing what we did and being with who I was with.
- 5:58Uh it's too big to just be in one body.
- 6:03That's awesome.
- 6:03That is astronaut Victor Glover.
- 6:06Yeah, he's a great guy.
- 6:07And again, we should take pride in what this is and what it means.
- 6:10And in reality, as I was watching this space capsule come back down to Earth and the parachutes and uh, you know, those last three big parachutes, they intentionally open up slowly.
- 6:22I don't know if you knew that.
- 6:24I think it would be helpful if they would tell you these things beforehand, as as I'm watching them like open, open, open, please open.
- 6:31But they're done that way so that it uh slows it down gradually, and it's not just bam, it it slows it down from a hundred thousand miles an hour to nothing in seconds, and that would be pretty rough if you're Victor uh Glover and the other astronauts inside.
- 6:47But this is what America is, and that is our resources, our ingenuity, our discovery, our brains, our get things done, and that is not uh it doesn't have anything to do with politics.
- 7:00It is what really creates the value in the American dollar.
- 7:05And so many people miss that.
- 7:06They want to say, well, we got off the gold standard, it's a fiat dollar, we're gonna no, it's that.
- 7:12That Artemis is what um what backs the American dollar, and I think it was fantastic.
- 7:18It was great to see.
- 7:19Now let's move over to Istanbul, where we had the talks over the weekend, and it was history, Matt, for the first time since 1979.
- 7:29Upper level uh administration people, J.D.
- 7:32Vance, Witkoff, Jared Kushner, they were there speaking to upper echelon members of the Iran government.
- 7:39It still brings me to the question who is in charge.
- 7:42We got confirmation over the weekend that uh the uh no leg actually has no leg, the um the son, I guess, of the Ayatollah Kohhomene.
- 7:54He is, I guess, in charge, they say, but nobody's seen him.
- 7:57Nobody's heard from him.
- 7:58So I don't know who's in charge.
- 8:00I don't know who we're negotiating with or why we're negotiating with Iran.
- 8:04I still don't know the answer to that question.
- 8:07Because to me, as at the end of this, it appears that they've done the same thing that they've always done for 47 years.
- 8:12They use it to obscuse to just push things back for a while, and then nothing ever changes.
- 8:20But before Trump, uh but before J.D.
- 8:23Vance was there in Estanbull, you had Donald Trump on Friday making some comments, and let's go to that.
- 8:29Let's listen to President Donald Trump.
- 8:32Well, I wish him luck.
- 8:33He's got a big thing.
- 8:34I will find out what's going on.
- 8:37Uh they're militarily defeated.
- 8:39And now uh we're gonna open up the Gulf with them with or without them.
- 8:44But that'll be open.
- 8:45We're gonna be uh, or the straightest they call it, and I think it's gonna go pretty quickly.
- 8:50And if it doesn't, we'll be able to finish it off one way or the other.
- 8:54It's going well.
- 8:56The uh the Navy's gone, the Air Force is gone, all anti-aircraft is gone, the leaders are gone, the whole place is gone.
- 9:04So we'll see how it turns out.
- 9:05So it's JD and Steve and Jarrett.
- 9:08You have a good team, and uh they meet tomorrow.
- 9:11We'll see how it all works.
- 9:12So that was Friday before they went over the weekend.
- 9:14JD Vance and as he mentioned, Steve Whitcott and um uh Jared Kushner were there.
- 9:21And let's get one more from Trump on the tarmac there.
- 9:24You could hear the noise in the background.
- 9:26Let's get one more from him before the talks that took place over the weekend.
- 9:30Here's Donald Trump again.
- 9:32No nuclear weapons, number one.
- 9:34You know, I think it's already been regime change, but we never had that as a as a criteria.
- 9:40No nuclear weapon.
- 9:41That's 99% of us.
- 9:44Well, yeah, but that'll open up automatically.
- 9:48Yeah, the answer is yes, but the strait will open up if we just left, the straits gonna otherwise they make no money.
- 9:54So the straits gonna open.
- 9:56But what we have is no nuclear weapons, but we'll open the strait anyway.
- 10:00So that's something Donald Trump has said for years and years, Matt, that Iran can't have nuclear weapons.
- 10:06He's not alone.
- 10:07Most most Democrats have said the same thing, but here we are all these years later, and they still have the capabilities possible of creating a nuclear weapon, and that's why all of this is happening.
- 10:19Finally, somebody's doing something about it in Donald Trump.
- 10:22Now, he mentioned a couple of things there.
- 10:24One thing I noticed, he mentioned the same thing that we talked about last week on the program, which is all America has to do is leave the Strait of Hormuz and it's open.
- 10:32Something else I want to bring to people's attention, though, is the amount of money that Iran has been making since this started, because their tankers are getting through because they're letting them through.
- 10:43And a result of that is uh, you know, most of the time they've been selling oil for 120 dollars a barrel compared to 80, which is what it was before all of this started.
- 10:53So they're making 40 dollars more a barrel, and they're making uh they're selling 1.5 to 1.6 million a day.
- 11:00So they're making a lot of money right now, and the Strait of Hormuz is not affecting them.
- 11:04Now, let's go to the Strait of Hormuz and talk about that because now Donald Trump says they are going to create a blockade there in the Strait of Hormuz with the U.S.
- 11:13Navy and any help that we get from the other countries that have not showed up to help yet.
- 11:18That is the plan.
- 11:19Have you heard about that?
- 11:20Um no, but I like it more than turn to Allah to uh fala for help.
- 11:25So that's a big improvement there.
- 11:27Well, a week makes a difference.
- 11:28And by the way, let's clean this up too, because last weekend and when we did the show last Monday night, we talk about Donald Trump putting that out on a post about uh cussing and and praise be to Allah and all that thing.
- 11:41And you know, I saw Hal Kemper talking, I guess Monday or Tuesday night about this, and and then it picked up some steam.
- 11:48I saw it some other places.
- 11:50This is the way the people in that culture in the Middle East speak.
- 11:54He was not talking to any of us on Easter morning with that.
- 11:58He was speaking speaking specifically to them because that's all they understand.
- 12:02You remember uh Saddam Hussein, he says the mother of all battles.
- 12:06You know, they very dramatic and they cuss and they're very colorful in language.
- 12:11So that was something different to the leadership of Iran that they had never seen from an American president.
- 12:17And I think it was completely intentional, and I don't know, what do you think?
- 12:22You know, still not an ideal post, but yes, it does make more sense with that kind of context.
- 12:28Yeah, it's funny because I remember you and my dad were both pretty bothered by it.
- 12:33I went on Matt Christensen's show, and he's you know, he's Christian, it's a Bible study, and he's he's like he's going, Oh no, it was funny.
- 12:40So I was like, all right, I got every opinion on this.
- 12:42Oh, he thought it was funny.
- 12:43He thought it was funny, because I was honestly not expecting.
- 12:46So I wasn't some mixed opinions of this.
- 12:48Well, let's go to JD Vance after he came back, or af as he was leaving Estan Bull after having the talks with Iran all weekend.
- 12:56Twenty-one hours.
- 12:58We've had a number of substantive discussions with the Iranians.
- 13:01That's the good news.
- 13:02The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement, and I think that's bad news for Iran, much more than it's bad news for the United States of America.
- 13:09So we go back to the United States having not come to an agreement.
- 13:12We've made very clear what our red lines are, what things we're willing to accommodate them on, and what things were we're not willing to accommodate them on.
- 13:20And uh, we've made that as clear as we possibly could, and they have chosen not to accept our terms.
- 13:26And Iran was wanting uh money, they were wanting a hundred billion dollars released to them, they want sanctions lifted.
- 13:33They have no position of leverage because they have no power, they have no reason to negotiate, and America really doesn't at this point either.
- 13:42So I'm not sure how this is good going to end.
- 13:45Have you given it any thought?
- 13:46Um, I mean, us take permanently taking over the Strait of Hormuz and calling it like the Strait of Trump or something is maybe what ADO can lace that out, solve some.
- 13:56The Strait of America as a nice ring to what am I saying?
- 14:00Straight of America, yeah.
- 14:02That way it can stay straight of America after Donald Trump is gone.
- 14:05We're saying their new leaders gay is we we could rename it the gay of Hormuz and force them to live with that.
- 14:10Oh, they say he's disfigured, too.
- 14:12Did you see that?
- 14:13That this new Ayatollah is disfigured, he has no legs, and he's gay.
- 14:18So we got to find out he's uh failed driver Zed.
- 14:24He uh school rumor type stuff, but I I think some of it's probably true.
- 14:29I think the legs are true and the disfigured.
- 14:31I saw that over the weekend.
- 14:32It seems credible.
- 14:33It seems like it's corroborated at this point, but you know, that's not he's not a catch, is he?
- 14:39I don't know, he doesn't sound like a catch.
- 14:41Let's listen to John Fetterman, Pennsylvania Senator.
- 14:45Here he is on Iran.
- 14:46I would like to remind people too.
- 14:48Every single Democrat running for president and every single Democrat in the Senate said we can never allow them to acquire nuclear weapon.
- 14:58And now, if you want to talk about a war crime, you know, Iran is a 47-year-old war crime, what they continue to behave.
- 15:07So, you know, I as a Democrat, I supported what President Trump did, you know, to actually call Iran accountable.
- 15:15And I think it's been successful.
- 15:17And let me point this out about uh Fetterman here.
- 15:20He talked there in the past tense because he has said he would not support voting for the war powers act if that comes up.
- 15:28If it's needed because we leave and then Donald Trump decides to go back, he says he wouldn't.
- 15:33Now pay attention to John Fetterman because he talks a great game, and I see a lot of people on the right that love John Fetterman now.
- 15:41And you know, I'm surprised by him as well.
- 15:44Uh don't get me wrong about that.
- 15:46However, look how he votes.
- 15:48He still votes the way you think he would vote 93% of the time, doesn't he, Matt?
- 15:53Yeah, I think that was the stature quoting for um how often he would vote with Biden, which I just remember it being over 90%.
- 16:00So that's what you're quoting.
- 16:02He's mastered being a swing saying senator, and then he goes on Fox News, he talks about the axis of the left.
- 16:09He he criticizes for the type of leftists that would be a big story on Fox News.
- 16:13And, you know, I I would like to pretend that faction of the left is five to ten percent of the party and is just this activist class, but really they all vote in lockstep, so that can't be true.
- 16:26But he criticizes those types of people in Fox, and you feel like, wow, it's refreshing to hear a Democrat um, you know, appear sane by just talking like a normal person, and then he will then go to the Senate and vote in lockstep with crazy.
- 16:40So he does, I think he does defect the largest percentage of the time, but it's just that it's very rare that he does do it.
- 16:50Any Democrats do it.
- 16:51So it you know, in relative terms, he's the most conservative Democrat, but in absolute terms, he is pretty liberal.
- 16:58Now he mentioned there that Democrat presidents have said uh Iran is a threat with a nuclear weapon.
- 17:04Well, let's go back to 2015.
- 17:06Let's listen to Chuck Schumer on the Senate floor back then.
- 17:10This was all around the Obama deal that he made with the Iranians and the Iran uh and the Iranian nuclear deal.
- 17:18Here is Chuck Schumer from the Senate floor.
- 17:20I examined this deal in three parts.
- 17:23Nuclear restrictions on Iran in the first 10 years, nuclear restrictions on Iran after 10 years, and non-nuclear components and consequences of the deal.
- 17:34And in each case, I didn't ask what is the ideal agreement.
- 17:37We're not in that world.
- 17:38I asked, are we better off with the agreement that we have before us or without?
- 17:45In the first 10 years of the deal, there are serious weaknesses in the agreement.
- 17:49First, inspections are not anywhere anytime.
- 17:53The potential delay of as many as 24 days before we can inspect undeclared suspicious sites is troubling.
- 18:00It is true that declared sites will be monitored.
- 18:03That is one of the positives of this deal.
- 18:06But if Iran is going to cheat, it will not be at a declared site with the eyes of the world watching.
- 18:12It will have it.
- 18:13It seems to me when it comes to the nuclear aspects of the agreement within 10 years, we might be better off.
- 18:20We might be slightly better off with it.
- 18:23However, when it comes to nuclear aspects after 10 years, and non-nuclear aspects, we would be better off without it.
- 18:32That's Chuck Schumer talking about that Iranian nuclear deal that Obama put in place that Donald Trump tore up.
- 18:38It's very interesting, isn't it?
- 18:41Yeah, on every like anti-Trump cause of the left.
- 18:45There's clips of Democrats 20 to 30 years ago saying exactly what Donald Trump was saying.
- 18:50I mean, they're the most obvious examples of legal immigration where you know the rhetoric of Barack Obama was pretty right wing.
- 18:57Now, obviously in practice he was not, but you know, he was an improvement over Biden.
- 19:01But um the the left, at least rhetorically pretended to be, you know, pro-sane immigration back then, and then once it became a Trump policy, they turned against it.
- 19:12Um and uh, you know, I I wonder if they were being the real selves back then or now, or are they willing to knowingly uh take wrong positions to get elected and to hurt Trump?
- 19:25The answer to that is probably yes.
- 19:27So uh yeah, it's um sad that we're ruled by people who ultimately believe nothing when it would uh when their brains are corrupted by uh TDS.
- 19:36Let's go back to Artemis real quick.
- 19:38I have time for one more clip about the spacecraft and uh NASA in general.
- 19:44Senator Mark Kelly from Arizona, he was one of those six seditious six, and here is something he had to say about this.
- 19:51This really blew me away.
- 19:52Listen to Senator Mark.
- 19:54When you're the commander, you get some say in who your other crew members are gonna be.
- 19:59So the
- 20:00Last thing I would want in a space shuttle crew would be seven, white guy, U.S.
- 20:09Navy, test pilots like me.
- 20:13It would be a disaster.
- 20:15Why would that be a disaster?
- 20:16If I was going up in space, I that's exactly who I want.
- 20:20I want the I want the test pilots from Air Force and Navy taking me up there.
- 20:25And I also thought about this, Matt, when I was watching all this.
- 20:28There is not a chance in hell you would ever pry me in to that spaceship to blast off to begin with.
- 20:34And you probably wouldn't even get me in the elevator to take me up to it.
- 20:37And there's just no way.
- 20:39And then riding on the helicopter, they hoist you up.
- 20:42I wouldn't even do that.
- 20:44I'm just I'm just too chicken to do any of it.
- 20:46But it was a great sight to see.
- 20:48Eric Swalwell, he is in the news big time, running for governor in the state of California.
- 20:53We're going to get to that after the break.
- 20:55More truth be told with Booker Scott in minutes on America Out Loud.

- 23:01Eric Swalwell, the poster boy of the left for many years, the guy that went after Donald Trump relentlessly for a decade.
- 23:08He not just Trump either, but it was Kavanaugh.
- 23:11It was one after the other.
- 23:12Well, guess what?
- 23:14Someone in the Democrat Party, they have decided to go after Eric Swalwell.
- 23:18They're doing it in a big way.
- 23:20To me, Matt, there was no other way to see this, other than it was a Democrat because we talked about this last week.
- 23:26Currently, in the governor's race in California in the polls, there are two Republicans leading.
- 23:32The way they do their elections, the top two in a primary, they go up, which means that it would have been a uh a Republican as a governor.
- 23:40Who is the who's running in third place right now?
- 23:43It's Eric Swalwell.
- 23:44You knock his 14-15% out of it.
- 23:47He gets out of the race, doesn't run a campaign, he gets two or three percent because of his name, and then a Democrat would come in second, and then the Democrat would win by 20 points.
- 23:57Somewhere there is a Democrat behind this.
- 24:00This story was started at the San Francisco Chronicle.
- 24:03I don't think it really takes a rocket science uh scientist to figure this out.
- 24:08Yeah, and you know, the the problem with questioning any, you know, accusations of sexual harassment or assault against someone, the consequences you're gonna look like, you know, a a jerk for daring to question it.
- 24:20But I think it's worth summarizing what the accuser is accusing Eric Swalwell of.
- 24:25And he's saying that back in 2019, she was working for him for a few weeks.
- 24:30She was 21 years old.
- 24:32I believe he was 38.
- 24:33He was sending her naked photos on Snapchat of his genitals and trying to solicit nudes from her in return.
- 24:40Now, after that, there's a uh a time where she is sitting uh as a passenger in the past news in his car.
- 24:49He asked her for a blowjob, and she says she gave him one.
- 24:53Now, after that, he invites her to go drinking one night.
- 24:57Um, they get drunk, she says she wakes up in a hotel room bed naked with him and has no memory, but believes, you know, could feel that they had sex.
- 25:06Okay, so you know, those two cases seem like you know, more in regret territory, but you could say to me, Well, who are you to say, Matt?
- 25:16She felt coerced, she felt pressure, she was afraid.
- 25:20Okay, fair enough.
- 25:21Now, five years after the hotel encounter, she runs into Eric Swalwell for the first time in five years at a political event.
- 25:32And what do they do?
- 25:34They go out drinking in and then have sex, and then she said this too was sexual assault.
- 25:40So it's just a little weird to put yourself in the exact same situation five years later and go out drinking again.
- 25:49It just seems more like revenge against him.
- 25:52And you know, when it comes to um, you know, these allegations against Squalwell, there's been a number of journalists coming forward and saying, Oh, this was just an open secret.
- 26:02Everyone knew about this, but you know, they were afraid, you know, they might get sued by Swallow.
- 26:07But I've seen at least four or five journalists come forward and admit for that for over a decade, they've known to be sort of allegations against Swalwell.
- 26:15Um, in Swalwell in his video addressing this, he basically uh, you know, admits that, or he may he made a comment that basically indicates that he had cheated on his wife, but is rejecting the sexual assault or harassment allegations, which I think is consistent with what I was saying.
- 26:35But this is a targeted hit, and the reason why is because as you said, the primary in California is an all-party primary.
- 26:43Republicans are 30 or so percent of the electorate.
- 26:46So if you have two Republican front runners, every other candidate gets a knocked off in the general.
- 26:51So right now it's Steve Hilton and Bianca.
- 26:54Uh Bianca.
- 26:56Yes, the sheriff.
- 26:57Um, and so that's happened.
- 26:59And then also Trump has endorsed Steve Hilton, which I think was ill-advised just because it's gonna cost Bianca votes that you know it's gonna lower his vote share and could kick him down from second into third or lower.
- 27:12That's right.
- 27:12But Swalwell, it's it's almost 20% of the of the vote is gonna get redistributed to other Democrats.
- 27:18And in the betting markets, Tom Steyer, uh, who ran for president in I believe 2020, he's a he's a billionaire leftist.
- 27:25He's sort of like a George Soros site.
- 27:27His odds have never surged uh, I mean, by double digits into being more than a 50% favorite to win the whole thing.
- 27:33So this is all helped other Democrats at the expense of Swalwell.
- 27:38And it's uh also interesting to note in light of that what I just said that they're all calling for him to drop out of the governor's race.
- 27:46No one is calling for him to resign from Congress.
- 27:48That's right.
- 27:49So what does that tell you?
- 27:50Yeah.
- 27:51Uh hypocritical, at the very at the very least, it's hypocritical.
- 27:55Now, it was Swalwell that said you have to believe them when Blaise Ford came out against Brett Kavanaugh.
- 28:02You have to believe them, he said.
- 28:04So now he's on the other side of this.
- 28:06I don't think it'll change Eric Swalwell.
- 28:09One thing that has been brought to my attention, I don't know how factual this is.
- 28:13They say that it's too late to drop out of the governor's race in California, so his name would still appear on the ballot.
- 28:20I guess if he just doesn't campaign, maybe it doesn't make a difference, other than that's why earlier I mentioned maybe he gets two or three or four percent if he's not actually campaigning, but he won't get the whole 15 to 20 percent that he's getting right now.
- 28:33Let's go to CNN.
- 28:34Let's listen to their breakdown and story on this story about Eric Swalwell.
- 28:39Four women are accusing Congressman Eric Swalwell with sexual misconduct, including a former staffer who says he raped her.
- 28:46The allegations against the prominent democratic candidate for governor range from inappropriate messages and pictures to unwanted kissing and touching, and in one case, rape from a woman we spoke to on camera and shadow to protect her identity due to professional retaliation concerns.
- 29:02She is a former Swalwell staffer.
- 29:05She says it began when she was 21 years old.
- 29:08There were two very serious sexual assault allegations.
- 29:11She made one in 2019 as a staffer, the other from 2024 once she left his office.
- 29:17She also described inappropriate messages and nude images with the congressman using Snapchat with disappearing messages.
- 29:25Okay, Matt, that is a little bit about what you were talking about there on some background with CNN.
- 29:31And I have one more clip here, and this is the voice, or maybe an actress, I guess, that did her voice.
- 29:37I'm not sure how they did this, but I I maybe it is her just her voice has been changed.
- 29:42Here she is telling the story.
- 29:45Now, after the first incident where she said she woke up in his hotel room as a staffer naked after a night of heavy drinking, she told us about what she says happened several years later in 2024 after she left his office.
- 29:57And I want to warn you what you were about to hear.
- 30:00Here is graphic.
- 30:01I decided to ask him to meet me for a drink.
- 30:04And I did this because I was so far removed from what had happened in 2019.
- 30:11I felt safe because I was established.
- 30:17I felt more secure that I could have a strictly professional relationship with this person.
- 30:25After that bar closed, we went to another.
- 30:27I went to the bathroom, and I don't remember anything after that.
- 30:32You don't remember anything.
- 30:34I remember the next day.
- 30:45It was a lot more aggressive.
- 30:50It was aggressive.
- 30:51It was aggressive, she says.
- 30:53I have a lot of questions there.
- 30:54Do you would you have any questions of that female?
- 30:57I know we have to believe them.
- 30:58That's what Eric Swalwell said.
- 31:00So we have to believe what she says.
- 31:02Do you have any questions for her, though, in her decision making and choices?
- 31:07I mean, I you know, uh asking Eurethus out for coffee isn't something I'd ever recommend to anyone, and that it was just bizarre.
- 31:16In fact, I I when I was explaining to you in the audience the story, I I had thought it was Swallow who asked her to meet up.
- 31:23Um I I actually overlooked the fact that she's the one who originated that.
- 31:27So no, it makes no sense.
- 31:29I mean, she cheated on her.
- 31:30I guess I don't know why she's a partner.
- 31:31I assume she means husband or boyfriend, but I guess cheated on them and also was trying to cover for that and have an excuse.
- 31:38It's bizarre behavior.
- 31:39And also to clarify, yes, the woman that you just played is the woman you mentioned before that.
- 31:44So one in the same, although I think there's four accusers total now.
- 31:47Yeah, four total, and we'll see where this goes.
- 31:50Does he pull out, just quit campaigning in California?
- 31:54And does it have the effect that whoever is behind this, whether it's Tom Steyr, I look at someone like Katie Porter.
- 32:00She ran for the Senate against uh Adam Schiff uh a couple of years ago.
- 32:05She's a nasty person, you know, she has a terrible reputation in the House of Representatives with her staffers.
- 32:11Yeah, I could see her doing something like this, paying these people to come forward and do this.
- 32:17It's kind of been weird to me, though, to see the Democrats turn on Swalwell as fast as they have.
- 32:23It's like they don't even know what to do.
- 32:25But it's also in the mainstream media, it's on Capitol Hill, it's everywhere.
- 32:30They've all turned on Swalwell.
- 32:32And uh, I would caution conservatives and Republicans, and I tried to do this over the weekend with a post on X.
- 32:38Be careful, because if he if he gets out of the race, it's actually hurting you.
- 32:44We're gonna have a Republican governor in California for the first time since Arnold Schwarzenegger.
- 32:49If those two Republicans can get at the top of the ticket in the primary.
- 32:52So, in some ways, by destroying the story on the right, the conservative people, they are destroying the chances for a Republican actually winning because no matter what Democrat wins or comes in second or first in the primary, they're gonna win by 20 points.
- 33:09The Democrats have 10 million people registered.
- 33:12Republicans have about 5.3 million, and there are a bunch of independents as well.
- 33:16So it's a two to one.
- 33:18Democrats to Republican, the Democrats will win by 20 points if you get rid of Eric Swalwell and then a Republican comes in third or fourth place.
- 33:27Yeah, I mean, we it people should remember, and I think this is probably obvious to your audience that whenever Democrats are seemingly doing the right thing and all coming together to do that, and the media is giving them a helping hand.
- 33:40It's because the end goal is to help the Democratic Party.
- 33:44In this case, you know, for the reasons we explained in California's race, it's reminiscent of when after Joe Biden's disastrous debate with Donald Trump in 2024.
- 33:55It was as if everyone just finally got a green light where they went, okay, we we can't cover this up anymore.
- 34:02So now we're gonna pretend that we're doing the noble thing and getting him out of the way and blah, blah, blah.
- 34:08But obviously it's because they knew Biden couldn't win.
- 34:10So it's the same thing.
- 34:11They don't care about doing the right thing.
- 34:13They've known about this was qualified for well over a decade, it seems.
- 34:17I I think you know, I I will say I don't know if I buy that he's committing sexual assault against his women.
- 34:22I think he's a womanizer, he's he may be pressuring women.
- 34:26Um and it's shitting on his wife.
- 34:29But uh, I I don't think I haven't seen not seen evidence that he's a rapist or anything like that so far.
- 34:34No, me either.
- 34:35But be careful.
- 34:36If you're a conservative, you're on the right side, you're a Republican.
- 34:39When you see these things that Matt and I are talking about, don't help them.
- 34:44Don't don't pile on, don't help them with their story because ultimately they are doing it for a reason to help themselves, not help you.
- 34:52So just keep that in mind as we move forward in this political season.
- 34:57Let's stay in California, though, because there's a lot of fraud there.
- 35:00Did you keep up with the fraud that was coming out last week in California?
- 35:05Yeah, it was I I saw their AG's press conference, and it was infuriating.
- 35:09He was trying to act like oh, you know, we've uh, you know, Trump's trying to make fraud a political issue, but we've been targeting fraud since the 70s.
- 35:18What was Trump saying about fraud back then?
- 35:20And I'm thinking uh he wasn't politically involved.
- 35:23Why would Trump have been talking about California fraud in the 70s?
- 35:27But it was a very bizarre press conference.
- 35:29I mean, I think they recover they had found it was what is it, 250 million in fraud or something?
- 35:35Yeah, but then they were bragging, they recovered an entire 10% of it, and I'm thinking that's it.
- 35:41Where the hell did the rest of the money go?
- 35:42It's just an odd thing to I don't know, be trying to claim the moral high ground against Trump or something.
- 35:48And this, by the way, came after weeks of David Newsom attacking Nick Shirley for finding fraud.
- 35:55I I don't know, they can't really keep the narrative straight.
- 35:57Is it good to identify fraud?
- 35:59Is it bad?
- 36:00I guess it depends on who's the one finding it.
- 36:02These people believe nothing, as I just said earlier.
- 36:04If it's somebody on the Trump team that is finding fraud, then it's a bad thing.
- 36:08If it's them, it's a good thing.
- 36:09When you go back to PPP and unemployment during COVID, that was 500 billion to a trillion dollars in fraud.
- 36:17So far, the last time I checked, we have collected about a hundred million dollars of that.
- 36:24That is about 10%.
- 36:26Not many people have been prosecuted.
- 36:28They are trying, but they're not gonna get anywhere near the trillion or 500 billion.
- 36:33It just won't happen.
- 36:34That's your neighbor, American people that are stealing from you.
- 36:38By the way, I saw that refund checks.
- 36:40We had talked about this uh back a couple of months ago.
- 36:43I know Scott Bissent was making a big deal out of the refund checks.
- 36:47It's gonna be a lot more money.
- 36:48It is up 11.1%.
- 36:51It's gone from 3200 last year in refunds from the IRS when you do your taxes, and it's up now to about 3550.
- 36:59So it's about 350.
- 37:00Unfortunately, we are spending that money in our gas tank because gas I was gonna say it's all bad gas get as a relief.
- 37:07Yeah, it is so true.
- 37:08We have more of the show coming up, more of the program.
- 37:11Please stay with us, don't go anywhere.
- 37:13I cannot tell a lie.
- 37:14My sinuses are blocked.
- 37:16George, you crossed the Delaware.
- 37:18You can cross congestion.
- 37:20Here, try clear.

- 38:47I'm Booker Scott along with Matt Palumbo.
- 38:49By the way, Matt has written 11 books.
- 38:52He's written some you've heard of too.
- 38:53Let me go through a few of them.
- 38:55You have Spygate that he wrote with Dan Bongino.
- 38:58You have fact checking the fact checkers.
- 39:00You have Man Behind the Curtain about George Soros and The Heir about Alex Soros, George Soros' son.
- 39:06You can find all of those on Amazon.
- 39:08Just go to Amazon, put in Matt Palumbo, and you'll find all of the books that he has written.
- 39:14So Matt, let's uh talk a little bit about the primary coming up and the way the Democrats are positioning things here for a few minutes because I I see James Carville and I I don't know if you've seen his videos, but this guy is he's not right.
- 39:28He's never really been right.
- 39:29He's the type of guy that I would probably like to go have a beer with, but I I I think he's off his rocker at this point.
- 39:36Yeah, as you were mentioning him, I was just doing a quick Google search to make sure I was remembering a book he wrote in 2009.
- 39:43The title is 40 more years, how Democrats will rule the next generation.
- 39:48That was that was that was what a year before the Tea Party uh revolution and all that.
- 39:53So no, he wasn't right there.
- 39:55Although he is married to a Republican strategist, so he must have some level of.
- 40:00Self-awareness and also do a character version of themselves.
- 40:03Maybe.
- 40:03I unless I don't understand how that relationship works at all.
- 40:06But no, he's really not right.
- 40:09Well, when he's right about things, he's still wrong.
- 40:11Like he'll attack the left for going too far woke in one breath.
- 40:16And then in the next breath, go, God, why do these Republicans care about trans kids in sports?
- 40:21Who cares?
- 40:21And I'm thinking, all right, so you're assessing the problem correctly, but you're also part of it.
- 40:26Right.
- 40:27Let's go to something he said.
- 40:28Here's a recent video from James Carville.
- 40:31By the way, he's married to Republican strategist.
- 40:34You don't see her much anymore.
- 40:35Her name is Mary Matlin.
- 40:36Here he's clear enough.
- 40:38I do not want that man to die.
- 40:39I want to, I want to watch him suffer.
- 40:42And I I can't watch a dead person suffer.
- 40:44So I I want him to be fully cognizant in November.
- 40:48That's James Carville.
- 40:50He's talking about Donald Trump there, Matt.
- 40:52Yeah.
- 40:52He doesn't want him dead.
- 40:54He wants him to suffer.
- 40:56That's what he's looking for.
- 40:58Oh, what a great guy.
- 40:59Um, no, I mean, this is by the way, it's just 90% of the left.
- 41:03Uh they're not all gonna come out and say it, but this is how most of them think.
- 41:08We saw it after Charlie Kirk's death, where it was not only was going after Kirk, not enough, we had to then target the widow.
- 41:14But if Trump actually was killed in Butler, we I mean, do I even have to tell people how the response what the response would be?
- 41:20They'd be celebrating every single day for the rest of their lives.
- 41:23So no, these are sick people.
- 41:25Well, you bring up Charlie Kirk.
- 41:26Let's go back and visit last week in the courtroom.
- 41:29Tyler Robinson was there.
- 41:31His next hearing is coming up April 18th.
- 41:34I don't know if you saw that.
- 41:35Did you keep up with that last week at all?
- 41:37There was the letter.
- 41:43Well, yeah, he's that reason that's not enough.
- 41:45Yeah, yeah, about the letter and the gun, and he was trying to go pick it up.
- 41:49There were text messages between him and his trans lover, and all of that came out last week.
- 41:55And there are still people that believe Candace Owens that it was Israel that was behind it, and you have tailplane numbers from Egypt, and that's crazy.
- 42:05Tucker Carlson is crazy.
- 42:07Alex Jones is crazy.
- 42:08You know, Alex Jones has rarely been right about anything.
- 42:12And now he is going after Donald Trump.
- 42:14I don't know if you saw his video over the weekend.
- 42:16Yeah.
- 42:17Yeah, you know, he's he's never been right really about anything.
- 42:20But people love him and they they follow him and they believe what he says.
- 42:24And I don't have any idea why they still do.
- 42:28I always thought Alex Jones was funny as a sort of internet meme type character.
- 42:34But I I could never imagine actually trusting his news analysis on everything.
- 42:39It is certifiable insanity.
- 42:41It's you know, reptile reptilian overlord tier stuff, and that's what Candace is sort of doing the true crime version of that.
- 42:48That's right.
- 42:48I I just don't get what the what the motivation behind this narrative is because we've been talking for decades about how violent the left is, but they want to kill their political opponents, and then they do it, and then we squander all that goodwill we could have used to actually enact change and descend to these conspiracies of it being for some reason Israel was gonna kill one of their biggest supporters in America for a goal that makes no sense.
- 43:13Right.
- 43:14But people believe it, and uh you know, and then it's causing a divide in on the conservative side of things in politics.
- 43:20Uh and you know, we have Michelle Obama out there, she's making videos on podcasts.
- 43:25If anybody cares, here she is with this.
- 43:27Oh, we talk about how do you feel about the country?
- 43:31You know, there are versions of the the country that happened.
- 43:35Yeah, right.
- 43:36And the new version doesn't make the old one bad.
- 43:39It's a necessary for growth, and I think we're in just a janky version, right?
- 43:45Yeah, Janki's right.
- 43:46It's a janky version right now.
- 43:47Um what does that mean, Matt?
- 43:50What is a janky version of America?
- 43:52What is a version of America?
- 43:53What is she talking about?
- 43:55She's very much like Kamala Harris.
- 43:57She doesn't make much sense to me.
- 43:58And something else, I don't know if I've ever shared this with you.
- 44:01I have shared it with the audience.
- 44:02She is a right speaker.
- 44:04And what I mean by that is she uses right in a rhetorical way that makes you think me too.
- 44:10I cannot stand it.
- 44:11And I call it I call it a a linguistic tie-down.
- 44:14It's to continue the conversation so that you feel like an idiot if you think uh the opposite of the way that person is talking, right?
- 44:21So they just keep saying right after everything they say, and then the conversation moves, and you're like, well, wait a minute.
- 44:28Uh you know, typically right is used in this type of way.
- 44:31Matt, uh Michelle Obama really doesn't make any sense, right?
- 44:35Right.
- 44:36Uh uh.
- 44:38Yeah, liberals can't make up their like whatever Trump does something they don't like, they say it's anti-American, and then like when they argue against guns or something, they go, Well, the founding fathers, I mean, they're a bunch of slave-owning racists.
- 44:50I'm like, okay, so is America good or bad, like you at least pick one and then sick there.
- 44:55I uh what came to mind was Bill Burr, the comedian who used to be funny um during the Obama administration was complaining about how visible Michelle is, and he's like, all right, listen, like let's put it this way.
- 45:06If if uh, you know, I need a plumber, and is and his wife comes by and says a lecture and me, I'm gonna go, you know, I'm sure you're a nice lady, but uh you're really not the person we need right now.
- 45:16Why do we care what she has to say about anything?
- 45:19Did you see Trump going after Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, and Candace Owens on a post over the weekend?
- 45:24I was thinking it was the best gets to a post I've ever seen.
- 45:27It was something he he said he hopes Candace Owens loses her lawsuit against the fine wife of McCrone.
- 45:35He's far better looking, which is I guess true.
- 45:39I mean, she's old, but yeah, yeah.
- 45:41Well, she is better looking than Candace Owens.
- 45:44Let's go to more of this Michelle Obama.
- 45:46Christmas Obama, you may just jank right now.
- 45:48Yeah, super jank.
- 45:50Yes, yes, he's not gonna be happy with that.
- 45:53But I couldn't find an I couldn't find another like adjective.
- 45:55I couldn't find another seminar metaphor here.
- 45:58But with each, you know, w with each version, we learn something about ourselves as a country.
- 46:04And you know, I'm right now I'm I'm kind of digging the way folks are beginning to respond, right?
- 46:13I mean, right.
- 46:14Um Minnesota powerful stuff.
- 46:17I mean, it was a powerful reminder of what a community of people can do and are willing to do to protect one another.
- 46:24What is she talking about?
- 46:25I still don't know and I I don't know.
- 46:28I don't have a clue.
- 46:29What is she talking about?
- 46:31A different version of America, and what happened in Minnesota was fan tact.
- 46:35Fantastic.
- 46:36What is she talking about?
- 46:38I was hoping like Clip would go in longer so that I would have time to figure out what she was talking about and cut it.
- 46:44So I don't think it would have helped, but uh we have dodged a bullet by staying away from the woke radical left.
- 46:52That's what we did in the last election.
- 46:54That's what scares me about coming up in the primary in November, which we'll talk about that more as we get closer to it.
- 47:01There's a lot to be worried about with that.
- 47:04And while I'm talking about that, let me also tell everybody in the audience that I will be speaking at the Tampa Bay Trump Republican Club coming up April 21st at Muggs, just off of Ulmerton.
- 47:17So come on out to that.
- 47:18They're a huge club.
- 47:19They've had a lot of great speakers through the years.
- 47:22I think uh General Flynn has been there about five or six times, but I'll be there April 21st.
- 47:26We're gonna talk about some specific strategies that can be done for this upcoming um uh primary that we have.
- 47:33And uh so if you're in the Tampa Bay area, come on out and join us for that.
- 47:37Now let's go to Kamala Harris.
- 47:39We talk about dodging a bullet for the Democrats.
- 47:42This could have been your president, right?
- 47:47So then he's kind of like this is her Trump impression.
- 47:50This is yeah, here we go.
- 47:52Well, you know, you take Eastern Europe.
- 47:58I'll take the Western hemisphere.
- 48:01She sounds more like she just took a big drag off uh it doesn't sound like Donald Trump at all.
- 48:09It sounds like she's smoking pot to me.
- 48:12Everyone thinks they can do a Trump expression, she can't.
- 48:16She can't.
- 48:17Well, let's go.
- 48:18Let's listen to the former vice president of the United States.
- 48:21And then you over there, you can you get Asian.
- 48:27Right.
- 48:28Instead of understanding historically, America has always been about our global leadership.
- 48:33Imperfect though we have been.
- 48:35Right speakers kill me.
- 48:37They I just cannot stand it, Matt.
- 48:39But again, I don't know what she's talking about either.
- 48:41Uh none of these people make any sense to me.
- 48:43And we're gonna get to Canada here in a few minutes, but come on in on Kamala Harris.
- 48:47Is her career over?
- 48:49Is she done?
- 48:50Because when you look at polls, she's leading for the top spot for the Democrats in 2028.
- 48:57Maybe maybe they're just hoping they can get their own like Trump-like comeback, but uh I don't know.
- 49:02It's far it's far it would be far less impressive because they really threw every possible thing at Trump, including trying to murder him, and it didn't work.
- 49:11So no, it's just uh I don't know, she has no aura.
- 49:14She's just um I mean she didn't even win the Democrat primary.
- 49:18She had to be insolved, and uh, I think it is questionable that she would have even won that.
- 49:22So um I mean, didn't she get less than one percent of the vote in the in the 2020?
- 49:26Yeah, she she bailed out way earlier before there was ever one vote.
- 49:30She bailed out before Iowa.
- 49:32Oh, yes, yes, sorry, he pulled it below one percent.
- 49:35Correct.
- 49:35Yeah, she doesn't even have a brain.
- 49:37Let's be honest.
- 49:38How did she get where she got?
- 49:40I I have no idea.
- 49:41So we'll never know.
- 49:43Well, I think we know.
- 49:44I think both of us have a general idea for working theory for how that happened.
- 49:48There was a guy named Willie in California.
- 49:49We'll tell you about that some other time.
- 49:51No, yeah.
- 49:52Well, the kids are asleep, we'll both go through that story.
- 49:56Let's go.
- 49:57Let's go to our friends, the communists in
- 50:00Canada, and I don't know if you've kept up with what's going on in Canada, but these people up there, they are whacked out.
- 50:06They have a lot of people.
- 50:08Yeah, yeah.
- 50:09Well, just in general.
- 50:11This is my favorite story from last week.
- 50:12I'm glad you had to.
- 50:14But in general, Canada is gone.
- 50:16Except for Alberta.
- 50:18And this story comes out of Ottawa.
- 50:20So let's go to it.
- 50:21Um, it's really interesting.
- 50:23I never knew that.
- 50:24Well, I'll play it, and then we'll talk about it.
- 50:26They provided zero dollars to deal with the ongoing genocide of MMI W G to S L G B T Q QIA plus.
- 50:35What's the password to my Wi-Fi on my router?
- 50:39That's that's the password.
- 50:41That's the password of your router.
- 50:42That's awesome.
- 50:43Let's go.
- 50:44This wasn't the clip I thought you were gonna play, but I I had seen this, and I was saying to you before the show about it.
- 50:49Like it's stuff is so stupid, but it is impressive that anyone could remember that acronym and recite it effortlessly.
- 50:56Yeah.
- 50:57So at least I mean, I don't think they still have a brain, but I they somehow have a brain power to do that.
- 51:01So good for them.
- 51:02Well, it starts off with M M I W.
- 51:05And that is the M's.
- 51:07Here's the thing.
- 51:08The M stands for murder.
- 51:10So if you get murdered, if you get murdered, you're now part of the LGBTQ.
- 51:14You're part of that group.
- 51:15Yeah.
- 51:15We'll throw you in that group.
- 51:16There's no end.
- 51:18That group, that group is getting so big.
- 51:20We started off with gays and lesbians, and then we added trans, and then you know what did it for me is when they started adding the pluses.
- 51:28And I said it way back then.
- 51:30I said, this is so they can keep adding letters.
- 51:32Yes.
- 51:33And that's what this is.
- 51:34And they don't take away the pluses because they'll continue to add letters forever.
- 51:39This is missing murdered indigenous women, is what that is.
- 51:43Yeah, listen to this again.
- 51:44Two S L G B T Q QIA plus.
- 51:47What?
- 51:47I it makes my head spin.
- 51:50This is a if you're a missing indigenous woman, and then you become not missing.
- 51:55If you get found and you're no longer in the club, it's there's a lot of rules that need to be clarified.
- 51:59Yeah, I don't know what the left is ever doing.
- 52:01I can't keep up with them.
- 52:02Matt, we're coming to the end of the hour.
- 52:04What do we look for this week?
- 52:07I think Iran is going to be the big topic.
- 52:09We're going to have to watch the markets.
- 52:11What are they going to do in response to what happened over the weekend with really no deal from the negotiation that took place in Estanbull?
- 52:19I I don't know.
- 52:19I uh what's going to happen with the oil prices?
- 52:21Oil prices came down one day last week, they were down to $70 a barrel.
- 52:26They're back up in that 80-90 range, which is close to where they were before all of this started.
- 52:31It's going to take some time before the gas prices come down.
- 52:33I think that we're going to see oil go down lower, but we'll just have to wait and see how this goes because as Donald Trump says, we're going to open up the Strait of Hormuz with a blockade, meaning we're going to block everybody, including Iran's ships that have been continuing to operate and uh you know allow them to sell 1.5 million barrels of oil every day.
- 52:54They're going to cut them off.
- 52:55That will, you know, choke them.
- 52:58And financially, they're not going to have any resources then, which by the way, their inflation in that country is at 54%.
- 53:05The inflation number came out for America last week.
- 53:07We were higher than expected.
- 53:09It was 3.3%.
- 53:10But if you look at the core number, it was still down at 2.7%.
- 53:14So that looks pretty good.
- 53:1530-year mortgage rates, they are down around six, which is much lower than they were.
- 53:20So things are becoming more affordable.
- 53:22I talked about the taxes in the IRS.
- 53:24The refunds are greater by $350 per refund this year.
- 53:29So things are looking up.
- 53:31And I think as the deregulations that have been taking place over the last 14-15 months since Trump came into office, I think they're going to start kicking in.
- 53:40We're going to feel it the second half of this year, which is going to be really important to the midterm election in November.
- 53:46Yes, all that.
- 53:47And also one of the there's a special election this week at NJ 11.
- 53:53Um, this is to replace Mikey Sherrill's old seat, the Democrat rep who then is now governor of New Jersey.
- 53:58Um her seat for a very long time was uh Republican leaning, a very uh you know, very reliably Republican.
- 54:06Um she won by a small margin, I believe in 2018, and then the district uh the lines were redrawn, and it's it's still my district, but it's gone from being a Republican district to around Democrat plus nine or so.
- 54:19So they you know they rigged it in their favor.
- 54:22But there's a special election this week to replace Mikey Cheryl's seat, the frontrunner Democrat is named Annalilli and Media.
- 54:29And if she wins, and right now, based on the early voting and the vote by mail, it's she'll probably win by 20 points or or even more, which is pretty frightening.
- 54:39Um she is uh gonna be part of the squad Democrats.
- 54:45She is a Democratic Socialist, endorsed by the DSA.
- 54:48Uh during the debate she had with her her Republican challenger, she was arguing that Jesus was a socialist, uh, supports universal health care, but um, I mean I I watched her to be she is insufferable to listen to, uh, spoke over her opponent the whole time, constantly interrupted him, and then at one point he says to the moderator is like, uh guys, are we gonna do anything about this?
- 55:11Then interrupts him again and talks about how angry he's getting and his temperament, and it was it his temperament was exactly as I just said five seconds ago.
- 55:19He was just kind of asking the moderators to maybe do their jobs, but uh unfortunately it seems like we're probably gonna get another AOC in Congress.
- 55:27Um, she's gonna have to then run again in November because it's just her eight months or so, however long it is called until November.
- 55:36So hopefully she's out of there quickly, but it seems like we're gonna be adding a new Democratic Socialist to Congress this week.
- 55:41And I have not seen this be getting that much coverage, uh fortunately.
- 55:45And if you look at the numbers too, um I think there's now like 40,000 more Democrats and Republicans in the district, and even then, only 7% of Republicans have voted so far, about 15% of Democrats have.
- 55:59So in theory, Republicans all decided to turn out, they actually could win it.
- 56:05But it seems like it's it's gonna be uh you know plus 20 point where it um swing for the damsels, which is pretty horrifying.
- 56:12What is that congressional district again?
- 56:14Uh New Jersey 11th.
- 56:1511.
- 56:1611 in New Jersey, so that's coming up Tuesday.
- 56:19So watch that.
- 56:20Matt, thank you so much for joining us this week and every week.
- 56:23Always a pleasure to visit with you.
- 56:25I enjoy it so much.
- 56:26Thank you.
- 56:27You're welcome.
- 56:27Yeah, see you next week.
- 56:29Don't forget that you were told two thousand years ago that you are the salt of the earth and salt without flavor, it has no value.
- 56:35So whatever you do, keep being salty.
- 56:37Have a great night.
- 56:39There is only one truth.
- 56:40You've been listening to The Truth Be Told with Booker Scott on America Out Loud.
