- 0:55Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're over 530 episodes going strong.
- 0:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're pushing towards 600.
- 1:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So we're we're going, we're going full throttle.
- 1:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's how we do it.
- 1:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: To reach and help three billion people over the course of my lifetime and beyond, that's what it takes.
- 1:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It takes uh commitment, focus, and that's what we're doing.
- 1:24Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And that's just what piece of what we're what we're doing on here at Voices for Voices, uh, mythical creatures around the world, as you know, we acquired them uh uh late in 2025.
- 1:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um has a lot gone on, and we'll leave it like that.
- 1:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You will hear, you will see um what I'm referring to, and I also want to give a big welcome to our new viewers, our new listeners who are joining Voices for Voices uh for the very first time.
- 2:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh, we welcome one and all.
- 2:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Thank you for being part of the Voices for Voices family.
- 2:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um it's an honor to have you with us.
- 2:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, today is the top of the week, I guess, on a Monday.
- 2:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Not usually a favorite day of the week for me.
- 2:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um but once I get started, then things really really get going into action.
- 3:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We talk about persistence, we talk about focus, we talk about just putting our heads down and going after these humongous goals that we have.
- 3:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so that's that's the mindset and the actions that we need to take each and every day.
- 3:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We also need to take some rest in between and let our bodies rejuvenate a little bit, uh, but then we we jump right back in to the projects, the goals that we have.
- 3:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I'm so excited uh for what is to come and what is coming shortly, may even be a little preview um before this show actually drops.
- 4:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Not sure, can't guarantee anything, but there just may be something, and so you want to keep your social media, which I would also recommend following the Voices for Voices, uh, Facebook, the Voices for Voices, Instagram, uh, the Voices for Voices underscore 22 at uh for TikTok.
- 4:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We had to start brand new.
- 4:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Somebody took our old one down.
- 4:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Have a pretty good idea who that is.
- 4:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh but we're we're taking the high road here.
- 4:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, so we started over.
- 5:01Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We have five followers, I think, or seven.
- 5:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Doesn't matter to me because those are five or seven people who are in the know.
- 5:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They they see what's coming sooner than most people.
- 5:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so we will be hitting the media circuit like we're doing.
- 5:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So on our shows, we'll be potentially sharing some things, some projects that have been in the works for quite a while.
- 5:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Quite a while, yeah.
- 5:55Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But things are happening, and we're so glad that you're with us, and and again, bring bring some friends with you, bring some like-minded individuals, follow Voices for Voices, watch, listen to our TV show and podcast.
- 6:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're an independent organization that is not part of a larger conglomerate, and yet we're reaching people far and wide, from governments to intelligence to military, to me, to you.
- 6:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're reaching, and we have been reaching for quite a while.
- 6:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It took me a little bit of time to wrap my arms around that.
- 7:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're doing it.
- 7:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So, how's it feel like when you're doing what you feel that you're here on earth for?
- 7:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If you when you're doing the thing or things where you're like, I'm so glad I tried this or I continued this, how does that make you feel?
- 7:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I know you know talking about emotions is hard, but I'm just curious.
- 7:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, drop a line in the comments, let us know.
- 7:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We love the feedback, and I'm very interested in how it makes you feel because for me and how it makes me feel, it makes me feel good, it makes me feel worthy, makes me feel like I have a purpose in life that you know we're not we're not trying to sound morbid at all, but for some reason today is my last day on earth.
- 8:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Disclaimer, I have no plans of ending my life today or any any day.
- 8:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I just wanted to share that because sometimes people take it literally.
- 8:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, hypothetically, if it was, if today was, I would feel better now than ten years ago, fifteen years ago, where I was living what I thought was the good life, the high life.
- 9:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't know what I would have thought about.
- 9:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't I really don't know.
- 9:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But right now, right here, right now the feeling I get helping somebody, even if it's just holding a door open for somebody, I just I feel good.
- 10:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Not just because it's it's a nice thing to do and and all that, it just aligns with what we're doing here with voices for voices, mythical creatures around the world.
- 10:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're so focused on the mental health, mental challenges, trauma, recovery, PTSD, you name it, those themes are carried throughout all of the things that we do.
- 11:04Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And that was one of the big things when we were talking about mythical creatures around the world.
- 11:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And just a little let you in on a little bit in order for us to continue to expand, all those things.
- 11:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Everything's gotta tie back to voices for voices, to the mental health, the mental challenges, the PTSD, trauma, recovery, all those things.
- 11:55Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I was stipulation number one.
- 12:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And for anybody we do business with, it's gonna be the same thing.
- 12:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Not just because of my mental health challenges, but it kind of is that way because that's how Voices for Voices got started, was because of my mental health challenges, my mental health illnesses that still to this day I'm living with each and every day of my life, some days better than others, even though we've heard this before.
- 12:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And it's important because there's still people to this day that need help.
- 12:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Some may see they need help, some may not.
- 13:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so with your donation at lovevoices.org, we're able to continue that mission where we can help people who part of the reason why they may not go forward and get the help that they so dearly need is the price tag on an inpatient stay.
- 13:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Mine is around twenty grand, twenty thousand US dollars.
- 13:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So one of the big things we want to do with any proceeds, donations, profits from products, services, you name it, is to be able to help people.
- 14:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Somebody like man, you know, Justin, I need, I think I need a little bit of help.
- 14:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't got the money.
- 14:20Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Even with insurance or without insurance, whatever everybody's case, it's a case-by-case basis.
- 14:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We want to help those people.
- 14:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We want to say, look, go get the help you need.
- 14:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We got your back, and we'll cover your expenses.
- 14:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because people look at me and think, like, I'm in this class of society, like, oh Justin, like, yeah, you could have you could afford that.
- 15:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: No, I couldn't.
- 15:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't know where many people as 20 20,000 dollars, United States dollars, or whatever the currency it is in in in your where you live.
- 15:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's how I know that amount.
- 15:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's how I know that number.
- 15:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because I saw that number.
- 15:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And it's a travesty for people who need help, and that's the reason why.
- 15:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That was one of the reasons why at first I didn't want help because I didn't.
- 15:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I didn't have the money.
- 16:01Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I didn't know what to do.
- 16:04Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I didn't know how many days I was gonna be there.
- 16:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I didn't, you know, and then so many visits with the art therapy and regular group therapy, individual therapy.
- 16:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If there's medication, all these the food, everything has a dollar sign next to it.
- 16:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And what we want to do, and what we are doing, is helping people little by little.
- 16:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'll tell you that.
- 16:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But that's where donations go.
- 16:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: See a very high percentage of donations go into that bucket, whatever we want to call that.
- 17:09Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So there's a lot of people still need help.
- 17:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm one of them.
- 17:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I still need help.
- 17:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I have my mental health care team.
- 17:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There's no reason that you shouldn't have your own mental health care team.
- 17:44Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Whether it's shame, whether the stigma, whether whatever that may be.
- 17:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: The cost, the uncertainty.
- 18:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like, are the are my family members, are they gonna be there when I get released?
- 18:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: What that's a big fear of nobody cares about me.
- 18:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Nobody nobody's gonna be there when I get released.
- 18:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: No.
- 18:30Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: In fact, when I had my impatience day, there were already appointments set up.
- 18:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because that's the other thing, too.
- 18:44Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If we're just letting people, if we're admitting people, and we're just doing the status quo, not helping them very much, that that's that person's may very well end up in the same place, or worse.
- 19:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And we don't want that.
- 19:09Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We don't.
- 19:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Nobody does.
- 19:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But there will be somebody or somebody's waiting for you.
- 19:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There will be.
- 19:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And again, going back to the appointments, another fear of I'm gonna get released.
- 19:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm gonna have family.
- 19:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But now how do I go like what's the next what's the next thing I have to do?
- 19:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like am I just like I was here five days, and then you're on your own?
- 20:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: At least for me, I had appointments, I had dates that were getting me started, and that's not everything at the beginning is that fear that I had before I went into the hospital, the whole referral process.
- 20:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're not we're not accepting new patients now.
- 20:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're not accepting new patients.
- 20:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Okay.
- 20:44Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So what's the person gonna do?
- 20:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Seriously, what's a person gonna do?
- 20:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You're gonna have people like me who are trying to knock down the doors that hold get a hold of somebody so I can be seen today, not in six months.
- 21:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't know if I'm gonna be around six months.
- 21:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It was that dire for me.
- 21:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So when you go in, if you go into the hospital, you're gonna be monitored twenty-four-seven, which is what you need.
- 21:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's what I needed.
- 21:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And then I had the appointments set up.
- 21:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I still was afraid to drive.
- 22:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So the therapy and psychiatrists and all that think they were expecting me as opposed to again not getting any information having to literally fight tooth and nail to get that information.
- 22:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's the thing that helped that's a thing that helped me because that's what people need, I think, is that structure.
- 22:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Like I love structure, but I'm not the best at doing the structure.
- 22:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That makes sense.
- 22:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so when it's mental health related, you know, the mind is being the brain's, if there is medication involved, the brain is being affected by the medication and the therapy and the coping mechanisms and and all that.
- 23:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So the last thing a person needs is, well, here's a phone number, you call them.
- 23:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Then you call both of you know, they give you two phone numbers, and then you call both of them, and they say, Oh, we can't see it for six months.
- 23:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You say, Well, I was just I just got out of the hospital, and you know, you explain in their terms.
- 23:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But again, mine was already set up that next step, and each set of therapy.
- 23:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I forget how many sets of therapy I want, like certain group therapy focuses on different areas, and so I think it was like two or three different, like you I'd go to like one group therapy for six weeks or three weeks or something, some number of days, and then when the therapists and psychiatrist, when they thought we were ready to go to the next step, then they would set that up, and it was as seamless as it could be.
- 24:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Not that it's perfect, it's not, but it made me feel better just knowing that, okay, just tell me what I need to do, just tell me, please.
- 24:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I've tried to do everything myself, and I failed miserably.
- 24:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So can you just help me?
- 25:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I remember telling the person who ended up being my psychiatrist for many, many, many, many years.
- 25:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh he was the the main psychiatrist for like once you're released from the hospital, then there's there's this uh it's called partial inpatient.
- 25:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I think it's four days a week or something like that, and it's like nine to three or nine to two, or and it's intense.
- 25:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And my psychiatrist, and this is how I know I like structure, and I like somebody who is somebody some people would call it like a little bit harsh, and I did.
- 26:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I told him I was like, I don't like you at all, but that was his style, was just to say, here's what we need to do.
- 26:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I remember towards the end, end of that portion of the therapy, uh he was he said, Okay, like tomorrow is gonna be your last day, and and then you're gonna go to this next therapy, like another step down from the hospital, and I started to get the money thing, right?
- 26:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Because all of these things aren't free, and then I said, I don't want to do it.
- 27:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I was like, I this is fine, and I I again so a little bit of that was creeping into my mind, like all the Justin, you're good.
- 27:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Once you finish this, you don't have like you can have your uh you know regular appointments, but you don't need to go to this other group therapy.
- 27:31Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And he told me as the psychiatrist, he he says, you know, ultimately it's your choice.
- 27:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: The better outcomes come when people go through with these different step-down therapies, and then I started thinking like oh man, so I might end up right back here, and and so somehow, some way, I was just like, Alright, let's do it.
- 28:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Then everything got signed, whatever needed signed, and then I started that step down, and so there were times where it was a little combat of like, I don't like this, I don't like this, I don't want to do that.
- 28:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But if it wasn't for that, you know, him just saying is it him, uh, the psychiatrist, if he wouldn't have said that, I probably wouldn't have done that next step down group therapy because I just knew best.
- 29:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I know best.
- 29:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So he ended up being my psychiatrist for quite a bit six, seven years.
- 29:30Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And then I told him I told him I told him many times he's re he retired.
- 29:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh but I told him many times I was like, I don't I didn't like you.
- 29:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And he goes, A lot of people don't like me.
- 29:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: He goes, I I have to I have to be this uh this is how I have to practice my psychiatry and then he helped voices for voices put a little support behind and say why wouldn't you do it?
- 30:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You might as well do it while you still like your brain's still functioning, and then that was just like, oh well, that's true.
- 30:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I guess it's still functioning, pretty, pretty decent.
- 30:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so it's little conversations like that that you have that I have that really push us.
- 30:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, when somebody from the outside sees what what's happening, what's going on, that's much different than what I feel and what I think on a day-to-day basis.
- 31:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so that's another reason how I know voices for voices is my calling here on earth.
- 31:24Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So thank you for joining us.
- 31:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If you can please give us thumbs up, like, follow, subscribe, share, reshare, repost, pull out your phone.
- 31:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If you're on your phone, hit pause, share the voices for voices podcast and TV show with 25, 50, 75, 100 connections, contacts in your phone.
- 31:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: All those are free to do, by the way.
- 31:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If you do want to donate, we do accept donations, and they are 100% tax deductible federally.
- 32:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If you live in the United States, if you live in a different country, you'll want to check with your tax preparer on that uh on that front.
- 32:18Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And you can donate at lovevoices.org.
- 32:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Thank you so much for joining us.
- 32:27Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We look forward to seeing you hearing from you on a future episode of the Voices for Voices podcasts and TV show.
- 32:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So until next time, let's celebrate the voices of the world and let's be a voice for not only ourselves, but there might be somebody that you know that's not able to share their voice, and you can do that for them.
- 32:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Take care, have a great day.
- 32:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Bye bye for now.
