Speaker 2: Okay, there it is.
2:40
Speaker 1: So, uh, we're gonna be doing a story that I
2:44
feel like Isaiah wouldn't like or he wouldn't want to
2:47
be a part of. And it's going to be called
2:49
Something's Weird about my Sexy neighbor, Something's really weird about
2:54
my sexy new neighbor ship.
2:55
Speaker 2: Who's the editor? Put up.
2:59
Speaker 1: Put up the the put up the author's name? God
3:02
damn it here you even send me that too. Also
3:04
for audio people, editor put in an audio version of
3:08
what the author's.
3:09
Speaker 2: Name is, Jared Roberts.
3:11
Speaker 1: See, Isaiah does this part usually, and then I get
3:13
to learn about it as well.
3:14
Speaker 2: There you go.
3:15
Speaker 1: That's also one of the things. So without further ado,
3:17
we're gonna jump into it. Something's really weird about my
3:20
sexy new neighbor written.
3:22
Speaker 3: By Jared Roberts.
3:25
Speaker 2: So thank you too, Jared Roberts writing this, and we
3:29
will leave a link below to go show them support.
3:32
So please do that.
3:33
Speaker 1: Okay, I've never had a sexy neighbor in my life.
3:36
I've only ever had fifty three year old men, so
3:39
this will be new to me.
3:40
Speaker 2: All right, here we go, moms. You hear Isaiah had
3:43
his baby. Isaiah had his baby. Yeah? Is it a
3:52
boy or girl? I don't know.
3:55
Speaker 1: They just said that the child's name is Tanka.
3:58
Speaker 2: Just now, yep, just now. No, I can show you
4:03
a picture of it. Yeah, my grandma, don't laugh at
4:10
the name. His name's Tanka. It's a good name, like
4:12
the truck. Oh my god, did just say I want
4:23
one so bad? You have like three? If two?
4:27
Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm tired of mode ever.
4:36
Speaker 2: You want one like Isaiah's. You want a skinny You're
4:39
saying that you want a skinny child, is what you're saying.
4:45
Speaker 1: Well, you're the one who did the diet, bitch. All right,
4:47
here we go, All right, here we go. Something's really
4:55
weird about my sexy new neighbor Written.
4:58
Speaker 2: By Jared Roberts.
5:00
Speaker 1: About two weeks ago, my parents moved me and my
5:02
little bro into a fancier home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Okay, well,
5:05
there is no such thing as a fancy home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
5:08
So Dad got a new, better paying job. That's the
5:11
reason they gave us. At least, I know they wanted
5:14
to keep Sam out of trouble. He's a good kid.
5:16
He's just got a lot of an imagination. I tell
5:19
him we should make comics. Anyway, we were only there
5:21
for a day or two. When Sam starts to notice
5:23
our new next door neighbor, I'm like, what's the big deal?
5:27
Because he's telling me I have to come see the
5:29
neighbor quick quick before she goes in. So I rush
5:32
over to his bedroom window. Because it looks down in
5:35
the neighbor's house. I'm thinking I'm gonna see a weirdo
5:37
with the stuffed cat or something. It's just this older woman,
5:41
maybe about forty. She looks pretty in like a Barbie
5:50
Doll kind of way. It's weird though, because it's really
5:58
raining out there and she and she just she's just
6:02
walking to the road to check her mailbox.
6:05
Speaker 2: You see the titties on that Okay, come on now,
6:11
all right, now, this is something.
6:12
Speaker 1: This is this is this is some real this is
6:15
some real conversation for the boys here, all right, here
6:18
we go.
6:20
Speaker 2: You see the titties on that Sam man ass.
6:22
Speaker 1: You'll see the fucking titties on that. You see those
6:26
big fun bags. Okay, that's improv author. You can take
6:30
that if you want. I slapped the back of his head.
6:33
Dad taught us to treat women with respect. He knows better, but.
6:38
Speaker 2: He was right though. Damn she stacked with.
6:42
Speaker 1: Her shirt getting old wet. We're seeing a lot more
6:45
than we should. Damn dude, I can full steam ahead.
6:50
Holy shit, all right now, Okay, I was a little jealous.
6:54
The neighbor on my side's a fat guy who likes
6:56
mowing shirtless. Yep, so I said to him, I think
7:00
we're spending a lot of quality time together. What the fuck?
7:05
Speaker 2: Brother, Me and you know gotta have bonus together in
7:07
this one. We're gonna watch the big titty, forty old
7:09
lady outside your door. I'd be looking at the shirtless
7:13
mowent guy, wouldn't you would I'd sit there and I'd
7:16
be like I wanted to see the guy on the
7:17
john Deere bouncing up and down like this. You know,
7:23
I'd say to him, I'd say, you can have her.
7:25
I got Jim, That's what I'd say.
7:28
Speaker 1: And that's how and why we started paying so much
7:30
attention to the neighbor. Sam swipe Dad's old army surplus binoculars,
7:34
and I had a telescope from when I was twelve,
7:36
and I thought I'd be able to see the other
7:37
plants and stuff. Each night after move again, we'd be
7:40
turning out the lights and hoping for a show. God
7:44
damn dude, binoculars and a telescope. How close are them titties?
7:48
Are they trying to get?
7:49
Speaker 2: Good? Lord?
7:50
Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever actually, I don't think I've
7:52
ever peeped on anyone with binoculars. You see a lot
7:54
of movies from back in the day, but I feel
7:56
like binoculars are are harder to come by now anything, So.
8:02
Speaker 2: I don't know. It feels like one of those things
8:03
where I'm like, where the fucking even by binoculars? You
8:06
know what I mean? I don't know.
8:08
Speaker 1: I don't know what titties would smell like. I if
8:10
I had a smell of vision point at a big
8:12
old pair of middle aged titties. I don't know what
8:14
they would smell like, maybe like pumpkins. Imagine pumpkins.
8:20
Speaker 2: Day six.
8:21
Speaker 1: It didn't take long before we noticed some odd things
8:23
about this lady, like doesn't ever seem to sleep.
8:26
Speaker 2: Her light stayed on all night. We could see her
8:30
walking around.
8:31
Speaker 1: Still in the same shirt, like she didn't change it,
8:34
Like she didn't change it in days. I don't care
8:37
if she don't sleep. Sam said, why the hell won't
8:40
she get naked? I hate that shirt? Now, won't she
8:44
get naked? Maybe she's a meth head. That's a big
8:48
thing in Oklahoma. She didn't look like a meth head.
8:52
How'd you know the internet? We moved in six days ago.
8:57
That night was the first Saturday after we moved in.
9:00
That's when we saw the first really strange thing happened.
9:04
We were peeking at the window like usual, nothing happened
9:07
in a while, and we were getting tired. Screw this,
9:11
She's never gonna show the goods JP. Sam said, no,
9:15
I'm going to bed. I can see the tits on
9:17
the internet all I want. Sam grab my hem, Sam,
9:20
grab my ham, not my arm, my hand. He hadn't
9:23
done that since he was like five JP. Look, he
9:28
said with a swallow. He was pointing to her backyard.
9:32
I looked where he was pointing. I wasn't sure what
9:35
I was supposed to see. It's two am. There isn't
9:38
any light in the backyard except moonlight, and she had
9:41
a big tree back there. So I used the telescope.
9:45
Once I got appointed and I adjusted, I see the
9:48
white shape comes in a focus and I'm looking at
9:51
a face, her face. She's in her backyard, peeking out
9:55
from behind that tree, and she's looking right up out
9:59
of our window. Our lights are off, so she shouldn't
10:03
be able to see us, right, but she does. You know,
10:06
you just know, we knew. I jumped back from the
10:10
window with a gasp. Go shit, How long has she
10:14
been there? He just shakes his head. We should be
10:17
more embarrassed and scared. I'm a little of both. The
10:20
SAME's just scared. That's weird, man, that's weird. I tell
10:26
him not to worry. She's probably just turning the tables
10:28
on us. We're kind of invading her privacy, after all,
10:31
so that'll teach us. Then we ask, saying she's still there.
10:35
I don't want to look. It's just too freaky. So
10:38
I take off my phone, turn on the camera, and.
10:40
Speaker 2: Take a video. For about thirty seconds, I just hold
10:43
it up to the window and wiggled around a little
10:47
mister flammy.
10:48
Speaker 1: Then I turned the phone back in. When I play
10:51
back the video, we're relieved. Just the tree, no white face,
10:56
no white face watching us from behind it. My wiggling
10:59
somehow got the whole backyard and she ain't there. Sam
11:03
sighed and threw himself back on back on his bed.
11:06
I decided to watch the video over again, just to
11:08
be sure the backyard really was clear. It's just that
11:13
wasn't all when I was pulling. When I was pulling
11:15
the camera back, it briefly pointed down directly blow our window,
11:20
and there she was, staring straight up, right there, close
11:25
enough she could probably hear us talking. I shouted a
11:28
curse word and dropped my phone. Sam sat right up.
11:31
I showed him just to be sure I wasn't imagining things,
11:34
and he saw too. We slept in my room and
11:37
that night. He slept in my room that night and
11:39
decided to tell Dad what happened.
11:40
Speaker 2: In the morning.
11:41
Speaker 1: We knew it wouldn't go well, but at this point
11:43
that was less scary than the sexy neighbor. All right,
11:46
that actually got me a bit hunter. Take off your coat, clothes,
11:50
all right, hey, mom, got me here real quick. Grandma,
11:56
if you want to, you can come in here too.
11:58
Got a question for you. I'm reading a story right now,
12:04
and I need I need a female's perspective. Is that
12:08
in this story, two young men I'm going to say
12:13
they're probably in their teenage, their teens, not even men,
12:16
two boys. Their next door neighbor is a four year
12:20
old lady with big titties, and they're they're taking binoculars
12:23
in a telescope to look at her to see if
12:26
they can catch it, to catch a glimpse, to catch
12:30
a glimpse of the fun bags. Now they see her
12:34
reciprocating that night, they're looking at her backyard. They're like,
12:36
what the hell's going on? And they see that woman's
12:39
face behind a tree peeking back at him. Now, would
12:42
that be something that a female really does? Or if
12:44
you caught those boys doing that, how would you reciprocate?
12:48
Speaker 5: Well, I certainly wouldn't go like stalk them behind a tree.
12:52
I would probably.
12:56
Speaker 2: Hold up a sign or something.
12:57
Speaker 5: So next time I be like I know you're trying
12:59
to my tits stop or I'm going to tell your
13:01
parents do one of those deals.
13:03
Speaker 2: That's it.
13:05
Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean they're freaking teenage boys.
13:07
Speaker 1: You would look at and be like you stop that.
13:12
I'd hold mine up like that and I'd say.
13:13
Speaker 2: These aren't for you, these are my dough. I'd bark
13:20
like that.
13:20
Speaker 5: I can't believe that I wouldn't do that.
13:22
Speaker 2: Also, what what would you what would your sign say?
13:26
You're gonna make.
13:26
Speaker 5: A sign when you're lifting at my tits stop.
13:29
Speaker 2: I'm going to tell your mother, why don't you just
13:33
they're your neighbors, benefit like you're trying to help them out.
13:37
I'm trying.
13:38
Speaker 5: I'm not going to bust you. But if I see
13:40
your friends with a total scope again or.
13:42
Speaker 2: Whatever, yeah, this is bullshit your mom, I see. I
13:45
would you know what, just for the hell of it,
13:47
you know, I would do I do a little lazy susan.
13:49
I'd probably just pop one out. I pop one out.
13:53
I wouldn't give them the whole ansel out if I give
13:55
a taste the window, yeah boys, yeah exactly, I'd hold
13:59
that up. I'd s ran wrap my chest up and
14:01
it just put a little gleam on it. Okay, what's
14:04
this call?
14:05
Speaker 5: Because creepy neighbor. Okay, we're gonna.
14:07
Speaker 2: Have the title of this is. Yeah, you'll have to
14:10
see what happens. I will, you know what. I'll let
14:12
you know kind of the gist of it whenever this
14:13
is done. But I was just like, you.
14:16
Speaker 5: Know, I was very surprised she went behind a tree
14:18
and stalk them.
14:19
Speaker 2: Well, I think this is that to see a little
14:21
boy penis, Oh my god.
14:24
Speaker 5: There's gross people out there.
14:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, you know this is real, the pedophilic horror mom
14:29
is this is a fun creepypasta's story right in.
14:31
Speaker 5: The sign telling Okay, it's not me. You wanted to
14:34
see them?
14:35
Speaker 2: No one said it was you. I'm just saying that.
14:38
Speaker 1: Okay, thank you, thank you, thank you for the female perspective.
14:45
Speaker 2: What a horrible, horrible woman. Sunday. That was pistol. Right.
14:51
Speaker 1: He made us march over to her front door and
14:52
apologize for peeping. Probably the most awkward thing we have
14:56
we've ever had to do. Get this answers the door
14:59
in this loose lacy lingerie deal that showed everything if
15:02
you were inclined to look.
15:03
Speaker 2: And I was, Oh, dan o they're doing a little
15:06
Stacy's mom action. I think you're right. Any there you go.
15:14
Stacy's mom is a pedophile. That's what I found out
15:16
from the song. Yes, she answered, She answered the door
15:20
to him in a in a like a little spaghetti
15:22
strap lingerie. I know she's a whore. She's a whore.
15:26
Speaker 1: It's disgusting, Lacy lingerie deal. That showed everything if you
15:30
were inclined to look, and I was. I checked behind
15:32
me to see if anyone else was witnessing all this,
15:34
but nope, But I got controlled my jaw again. Did
15:38
he he was hitting the wiley coyote? I tell her,
15:42
I'm sorry we watched her. Yeah, right, dude. I wonder
15:44
how he said that. If a little boy said that
15:46
when he just if he if he said that, would
15:48
he do a little uh? I wonder would it be
15:51
like a you know.
15:52
Speaker 2: I'm sorry for watching? Or do you think it was genuine?
15:55
There's no way that was genuine. We were both hanging
15:57
our heads in shame. I looked up to see if
15:59
she was mad or if she was trying to seduce
16:01
us or something. It was weird, like have you ever
16:05
seen someone with no expression all? It's like she was hypnotized,
16:10
you should come in.
16:11
Speaker 1: Oh my god, Oh my god, how do we not?
16:15
Does this not feel like this is going into straight up?
16:19
I mean, what the hell is this? I mean, we're
16:21
we're reading this after the DOJ just puts out the
16:23
goddamn Epstein list stuff.
16:24
Speaker 2: Come on, now, what are we doing?
16:26
Speaker 1: You should come in? She said she didn't. She didn't
16:29
seem to feel it. She just said it, you should
16:32
come in. Sam looked at me. I think he was
16:35
ready to take her up on the offer. Okay, I
16:38
can't say I blame him. She looked real good, but
16:41
I told her we had to be getting back. Dad's waiting.
16:45
She closed. She closed the door without a word, and
16:49
and Dad asked when we got back. I told him
16:52
she didn't seem mad, and I told him that she
16:54
was what she was wearing. I felt if we were
16:56
going to be in trouble, he shouldn't. He should He
16:59
should know. She's teasing us too. I can tell he
17:01
doesn't believe me. He says he's going over there to
17:04
apologize for us. If I find your line, yeah, he's
17:07
gonna go over there and apologize for us.
17:08
Speaker 2: She's wearing what? All right? I better go make sure.
17:11
Speaker 1: That's what that feels like if I find If I
17:14
find your lion, you'll be wearing your balls for ear.
17:16
Speaker 2: And do you hear me?
17:18
Speaker 1: We stood in the kitchen waiting for him, and when
17:20
he got back, his face looked slack and pale. He
17:23
didn't seem mad at us anymore. It looked like he'd
17:25
seen something awful. Same elbowed me as if it didn't.
17:28
Same elbowed me as if I didn't notice myself sit down,
17:33
he told us we did, and we all started eating breakfast.
17:36
Speaker 2: Mom was still asleep like usual.
17:39
Speaker 1: She always stays up late, catching up on DVR, catching
17:41
up the DVR Saturday nights. What fucking year is this
17:44
the DVR? When she also TVO something DVR, I faid
17:49
the last time I dvr'd something, it was like two
17:51
thousand and six, twousand and seven. We did, and we
17:55
all started eating breakfast. Mom was still asleep, like usual,
17:58
she always stays up late catching up the DVR on
18:00
Saturday nights.
18:02
Speaker 2: Don't bother with that woman ever again.
18:05
Speaker 1: He said between bites, Hey, we agree, all right, that's
18:09
fucked up. We didn't dare quest.
18:11
Speaker 2: Him when he was in a mood, but I've never
18:13
seen him like this before, and that's what was so
18:17
scary about it. We kept eating our breakfast in silence
18:20
until he asked, let me tell you about Red Finney.
18:24
He mentioned that name before we knew. Red was a
18:26
kid in his neighborhood when his dad was growing up
18:29
somewhere in Baltimore. But we didn't know anything about him.
18:32
We asked before, but he always changes the subject, so
18:35
we shook our heads.
18:37
Speaker 1: Red was stupid, you hear me, stupid kid, always poking
18:42
his nose where he had nose business. He took a
18:44
bite of his scrambled eggs. There was this big dark
18:49
house on our street, three stories. No other house in
18:52
the neighborhood liked it, and it was there before the
18:54
neighborhood got built around it. Real old family just held up,
18:59
just held onto that land, and lots of stories about
19:02
this house. We'd all look when the lights came on
19:04
at night, never see anyone come or go all day.
19:08
And one time we're watching him, we hear the scream.
19:10
We know it's from that house, and it didn't sound good.
19:14
And from that day Red got the notion in his
19:16
head he was going to get in there and see
19:19
what was going on in that house. What does that
19:21
make red? Dad asked, stupid? We both said anyway. Then
19:28
one day Red was gone. He thought this was going
19:31
to be a heist. We'd go in there and find
19:33
some ancient jewels and a ghost and solve a murder.
19:36
If Red did what he was going to do, he
19:38
didn't tell us and we didn't want anything to do
19:41
with it.
19:42
Speaker 2: Breaking and entering was.
19:43
Speaker 1: Not a part of how we wanted to start life.
19:45
He just went missing, never found him. We thought all kinds,
19:50
maybe he ran away, maybe he killed himself somewhere. Something
19:54
happened in that house, right, I asked, Oh yeah, that
19:58
was another one. We thought maybe he w in there
20:00
and maybe just never got out. But here's the thing.
20:03
Speaker 2: He paused to take a drink of his coffee, like
20:07
he was setting himself or something. But here's the thing.
20:13
Speaker 1: When Red wit missing, that came up and we met
20:17
the owner of the house. Oh my god, it's gonna
20:19
be the fucking lady. The fucking neighbor is going to
20:23
be the woman, and she's gonna be the same age.
20:25
Speaker 2: Holy fuck. She showed some titty to Red fucking sixty
20:29
years ago or whatever. When When when Red whit missing
20:32
that came up. We met the owner of the house.
20:35
Speaker 1: Dad finished off his breakfast after that, took his plate
20:37
to the kitchen, saying to clean it off stuck in
20:39
the dishwasher. Me and Sam looked to each other. Well,
20:44
what I'm saying is that woman next door owned that house.
20:48
Damn she ate better than you.
20:53
Speaker 2: That's very good.
20:54
Speaker 1: You're not listening too busy cracking wise, what I'm saying
20:59
is that woman next door was on the same street
21:01
as me right when I.
21:03
Speaker 2: Was a boy.
21:04
Speaker 1: She was a grown woman, looked exactly the same. You
21:07
don't forget a woman who looks like that. What that
21:11
That's not possible. It's not for me to say what's
21:14
possible or not. I don't need to know why or how.
21:17
I'm just telling you like it is, and you're not
21:19
to bother with that woman. Now, let's get to church. Now,
21:26
let's get to church. I have a scaredy boner. Time
21:29
to go to church. Now, let's go talk to God.
21:31
Can't get a boner in church.
21:33
Speaker 2: That would be fucked up. Though.
21:35
Speaker 1: I feel like there's been times in my life where
21:36
I've had stuff like that happen.
21:37
Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
21:39
Speaker 1: You feel like you see someone and you're like, look
21:41
exactly like this neighbor I had when you were younger.
21:44
It's like this like clear delineation. I don't know this
21:48
idea that you see some like if I saw my
21:51
neighbor and they were the exact same age it that
21:53
would fuck me up also too, I feel like I
21:55
wouldn't just brush it off, though I feel like I would.
21:57
I would need to do a little more investigating.
21:59
Speaker 2: If I'm being honest, I.
22:01
Speaker 1: Don't think Sam and I had ever been so quiet
22:03
and well behaved in church. I don't know what was
22:06
going on in his head. Probably something like that was
22:09
going on in mine. Who is that woman? She related
22:12
to the woman dad grew up near. That's one heck
22:15
of a coincidence, not impossible. I mean, you hear have
22:19
long lost siblings working together in the same taco bell
22:21
without knowing it, so who knows. It's just when you
22:24
add her strange behavior to it, it's just a big
22:27
what the fuck. Since then, we've only kepur looked out
22:30
the window. She hasn't been in the backyard staring at
22:33
us anymore. But we kept our word to Dad and
22:36
left her alone. This other part of me just can't
22:38
get her out of my head. I don't think. I
22:40
don't think Sam can either. He slept in my room
22:42
twice since then. I think she's watching, he said. I
22:47
asked if he looked, and he says, not a chance. Hmm,
22:53
what kind of fuck? Yeah, but I think she's kind
22:55
of irresponsible of that.
22:56
Speaker 5: Well.
22:56
Speaker 1: I guess you know, the dad's trying to definitely give
22:57
him a warning here. But at the same time, I wait,
23:01
a fuck, like, if you if you're a young kid,
23:02
and it's like, that's pretty, that's pretty fucking horrifying, right,
23:08
I don't know, dude, I really hope this doesn't turn
23:10
into a vampire story. Hey, maybe it will, Maybe it
23:13
will in a cool way, but give me the fuck
23:15
away from vampire stuff. We did the motel one, We've
23:17
done a lot of vampire stuff. I would like it
23:19
to go in a different direction, if possible, you know,
23:23
although I will say some big, beautiful, beautiful, milky vampire titties.
23:27
Speaker 2: Never heard anybody literally ever fact check the Grand Canyon.
23:33
Speaker 1: The next night, I couldn't sleep, so I stayed up
23:35
playing Mario Kart with Sam. It's near midnight when we
23:37
hear a sound outside It's one of those times where
23:40
you mute the TV then you don't hear nothing, so
23:44
you go back to what you're doing and you start
23:46
hearing it again, like, how does that? How does that sound?
23:49
Speaker 2: Know?
23:49
Speaker 1: Your ears are occupied, Sam saying, I'm telling you she's
23:53
out there doing something.
23:54
Speaker 2: JB.
23:55
Speaker 1: And I don't want to go look, so I tried
23:57
to tell him that it's a raccoon or something. If
23:59
you want to look so bad, you go look. We
24:02
decide to go look together. It's not that smart an idea.
24:06
I mean, it's usual to see two people than one.
24:09
We did turn off the TV, so there's no light
24:11
at least, and we look. We both in curse and
24:14
duck down right away. Do you think she saw us?
24:16
She wasn't facing us. I told him she was out there,
24:21
but her back was to us. It looked like she
24:24
was gardening or something. Keep in mind, this is like
24:27
close to midnight. The folks are already in bed, and
24:30
demon Barbie's out there doing yard work. I don't think
24:33
so she was digging JB. He says his eyes got
24:37
that scared. Look, we do paper scissors, Okay, it's rock
24:40
paper scissors, dude, don't fucking we do paper scissors, we
24:43
do rock paper scissors to see.
24:45
Speaker 2: Who has to look at this time.
24:47
Speaker 1: I'm a dumbas who always I'm a dumbasts who always
24:50
does paper and Sam knows it, so I have to look.
24:53
She's digging, all right, I tell Sam, really going at
24:56
it too, tossing dirret every which way between her big
24:59
ash tree and our fence.
25:01
Speaker 2: Think it's a body, Sam ass too small for a body?
25:05
I tell him, what about a kid's body? Stop freaking
25:08
me out? I tell him, and flick his ear, Eh,
25:12
what should we do?
25:14
Speaker 1: Sam's asking, like I know, Holy shit, I say suddenly,
25:19
because I just realized something. I thought she was wearing
25:22
some tight white suit or something. She's not wearing a
25:25
suit at all. She's just in some lacey bra and panties.
25:30
Speaker 2: Is it a kid's body? Oh my god, she's half naked.
25:34
She jumps up and starts looking with me right away.
25:37
Speaker 1: Man, And here he was supposed to be all scared,
25:39
but I say a word naked, and he's up like
25:41
grandpa in a bingo hall. She starts dragging something in
25:45
her trash bag into the hole while both were while
25:47
we were both watching, and we both see it something's
25:50
in the bag moving. I keep thinking of Redfinny.
25:54
Speaker 2: But if she's doing it again, who would we tell?
25:58
Sam must be thinking the same thing, because he he
26:00
says to me, we're gonna have to dig that up.
26:03
Speaker 1: Oh, I almost forgot. We started noticing this funny smell
26:06
coming from that house. It's worse at night. It's like
26:09
burning sugar and plastic. I saw this dog one day
26:13
walking along the sidewalk. It goes all the way to
26:15
the other side of the road, passing her house, like
26:18
it was avoiding.
26:18
Speaker 2: Her doing something. Almost seems like I'm wondering if she's
26:21
like doing a little fucking a roachy Mario action, you
26:24
know what I mean. She's grabbing children and then like
26:26
sucking their life force from them so she can stay young.
26:29
I don't know. She is white. She's like deathly pale
26:32
to me.
26:33
Speaker 1: Whenever I read that she's like all white, and I
26:35
imagine that it was more like, I don't know, when
26:38
like a body, like a dead body, like in a
26:40
lot of movies when there's like dead bodies or something,
26:42
usually they're like stark white.
26:44
Speaker 2: I don't know.
26:45
Speaker 1: Oh, I almost forgot. We started nosing this funny smell
26:47
coming from that house. It's worse at night. It's like
26:49
burning sugar and plastic. I saw this dog one day
26:52
walking along the sidewalk, goes all the way to the
26:54
other side of the road, passing her house like it
26:57
was avoiding her.
26:58
Speaker 2: And I never saw a burner scroll on her neither.
27:01
Speaker 1: I know, I'm just psyching myself out, but it's crazy.
27:04
Speaker 2: And here's the other thing.
27:06
Speaker 1: I smelled that smell before, Like my mom's always saying,
27:10
you remember smells better than anything.
27:12
Speaker 2: This was when I was real young. We were out,
27:15
just me and my dad at the barber shop. Dad
27:17
let me go to the vending machine to get a snack.
27:19
I smelled that smell coming from across the street.
27:22
Speaker 1: The door over there is open, and I'm thinking it's
27:24
like a candy shop. I got my two dollars from Dad,
27:28
so I'll go over to get some candy, didn't I
27:31
hear my dad shout no, like he's mad at me,
27:35
but like he's scared or something. I go running back,
27:38
thinking I did something wrong. He grabs me up and
27:40
he's just looking at that place. I'm scared and also disappointed.
27:45
I wanted to see that candy shop.
27:46
Speaker 2: God, damn it. I'm looking at that place too. When
27:50
I see a.
27:50
Speaker 1: Big snake come slithering out and the door closes, that's
27:54
a bad place, dad said.
27:56
Speaker 2: It took me back into the shop. Okay, what the
27:59
fuck this is like?
28:00
Speaker 1: Kind of like I'm almost like a it's obviously feeding
28:04
on children. There's some kind of element of I'm telling you, man,
28:06
the a Roachi Maru call out might be for real,
28:09
all right. I do like the uh. I do like
28:12
the uh. I do like the witch angle. I think
28:17
that you guys might be right. I think like a
28:18
witch is some kind of witch or something. The snake
28:20
in particular, does making it seem this snak makes it
28:25
seem like not like what is is it like a
28:27
druid that turns into animals or something, but also just
28:30
you know, a snake being like an unholy figure. It
28:33
does seem like there's some kind of witchcraft going on
28:35
or something a familiar yeah yeah, or shadow jutsy. That's
28:39
that's right, believe it.
28:41
Speaker 2: It's time to talk about something scary. Your health. I know,
28:46
I don't go in the doctor as much as I should.
28:48
Speaker 1: If I'm feeling sick, I'll just lie in bed and
28:50
sleep it away. But that's only because I don't want
28:53
to have to deal with the appointments, insurance and.
28:55
Speaker 2: Blah blah blah blah blah. That's why I have zac doc.

31:20
Speaker 2: Now back to the episode.
31:22
Speaker 1: Later on he told me they found some missing kid
31:24
in there, so I have to never ever just walk
31:27
off again. I don't remember that part much, just my
31:31
dad's face when he grabbed me in that snake. So anyway,
31:34
Sam's like.
31:35
Speaker 2: We're gonna have to dig that up.
31:37
Speaker 1: I'm about to give him a good punch and his
31:38
shoulder and tell me he's nuts. But I don't do anything,
31:42
neither does he. We froze because now she's facing us.
31:48
You think she's staring at us again, but that's not it.
31:51
She's bending forward to shovel the dirt into the hole,
31:54
like leaning way forward. So we get a good look
31:57
at the scenic vistas of the Grand Canyon. And you
32:00
know what I mean. Sam grabs binoculars and we look
32:03
at and we each look out at. Sam grabs binoculars
32:07
and we each look at it out aside. While we're looking,
32:11
I swear I hear her laughing since chills right through
32:14
my bones.
32:16
Speaker 2: She's still just filling the hole.
32:18
Speaker 1: Though, so I don't know. Maybe it was in my head.
32:21
Sam City doesn't know what I'm talking about. After panning
32:24
down the hole she goes in.
32:26
Speaker 2: I will say, uh, okay, so she has she's burying something.
32:31
It's alluding to, maybe a body. We don't know what
32:33
it is.
32:33
Speaker 1: I will say a witch being a big titted woman
32:36
to lure in young boys is a very interesting concepts
32:41
like a little as like a bait. It is like
32:43
a little like throwing allure out to catch something, you know.
32:46
But it definitely feels like it's going to be as
32:47
soon as they get close to her, she's gonna be
32:49
like disgusting or decayed or something.
32:51
Speaker 2: It feels like it's going to be a uh, I
32:53
don't know. It feels like this is going to be
32:56
something where it's it's like she's using the looks for
32:58
deception or something like a big titty anglerfish.
33:02
Speaker 1: Exactly as soon as she's gone. Sam's ready to go
33:06
over there. I tried talking him out of it, saying
33:08
we should let Dad know I'm going with or without you,
33:12
He says, so I tell him to go. What so
33:15
I tell him to go? And what kind of flowers
33:17
he would like at his funeral? Because Dad's gonna kill
33:19
him when he finds out. He tells me buy and
33:20
heads downstairs. Won't strangle him? I do, But I can't
33:24
let him go alone, all right, good brother? First second,
33:26
I thought he was just gonna let him go alone.
33:27
I was like, what the fuck are you talking about.
33:30
We can't get to Dad's shovels without making noise. We
33:32
can only get mom's little garden shovels. Then we leap
33:36
the fence from our own yard. We could have just
33:38
walked around, except we might be seen. But uh, we
33:41
might get seen if we do that. We try to
33:44
dig fast. We know she never sleeps except tonight, apparently
33:48
first night since we move in that all the lights
33:50
are off. We caught a lucky We caught a lucky
33:53
break dealging with that stupid little shovels taking forever. So
33:56
I start getting in there with my hands. Soon I
33:59
feel the plast and I pulled up slowly. Like the
34:02
very minute I have it, I get light pops and
34:05
a light pops on in the house. Oh shit, like
34:07
the very minute I have it, A light pops on.
34:09
Speaker 2: In the house. Oh my god.
34:11
Speaker 1: I look up and see Sam walking up to the
34:12
back door. I ground by the back of his pants
34:15
and yank him the hell we gotta run. He got
34:18
this blank look on his face, almost like her. I
34:20
smack him and say run, and to his credit, he does.
34:23
We don't even bother feeling in the hole. We jump
34:25
the fence and we're out of there. Once we're in
34:27
the house, we're like, oh shit, what if this? What
34:30
if this is a kid's body? Now, what's in our house?
34:33
I did paper? Oh I did paper again. So I'm
34:36
the one that has to open it. Whatever was moving
34:39
isn't It wasn't. Uh, whatever was moving isn't anymore. I
34:42
tear it open and look, this big nasty snake falls
34:46
out of the bag, slithers around a little until we
34:50
get until we get it to go out the back door.
34:52
Speaker 2: Oh my god, fuck sakes. That being in a trance
34:56
too is kind of like a like a little trance
34:58
is is pretty sick too.
35:01
Speaker 1: That idea that you're digging hectically and look up and
35:03
your brother's just like mindlessly walking towards the back door.
35:06
Speaker 2: Fuck that.
35:08
Speaker 1: Sam's looking at me like something really isn't right here?
35:10
Like who bears a snake in a plastic bag at midnight?
35:13
What kind of voodoo shit is that?
35:15
Speaker 2: For me? Though? A snake? For me? Though?
35:18
Speaker 1: A snake again? A snake in that smell? How's that possible?
35:23
When we calm down a little, I go looking in
35:26
the bag. There's one of those Letterman jackets. Something wrapped
35:29
in it. It's a kid, Sam says, And I think,
35:33
and I think it's about to faint. I think it's
35:35
a box. I tell him, this creepy wooden box. Let's
35:40
get past the unboxing video. It's got some teeth pictures
35:42
and a pair of old plastic binoculars inside.
35:46
Speaker 2: Weird, We both say, I'm wondering.
35:49
Speaker 1: At some point, Red, it almost seems like maybe that's
35:52
Red Red's body.
35:53
Speaker 2: Hmmm.
35:55
Speaker 1: Also too, that with all this stuff of like him
35:57
remembering show as a child, almost us to think of, like,
36:00
I don't know, reincarnation or some shit, or like I
36:03
it's almost like the kid is almost like our protagonist
36:08
has like lived this before, or like lived it in
36:10
a past life or something. I don't fucking know, dude.
36:12
She's got me freaked out, kind of got me wet
36:14
in the panties.
36:16
Speaker 2: Pictures are all pretty old, and they're all of.
36:18
Speaker 1: Boys, boys me and Sam's age teens. None of them
36:22
look like they don't none of them. None of them
36:24
look like they know their pictures are being taken. Most
36:26
of them are on the street. A few seem to
36:29
be their homes, A few of them seem to be
36:30
in their homes. I only recognize one person in the phones.
36:34
That's Dad, I tell Sam. He calls me a liar,
36:37
though his heart isn't in it. Look, I say, holding
36:40
the picture into his face. He doesn't argue, just moves
36:43
on the other picture, but just moves on to the
36:45
other pictures. One of the pictures has a boy wearing
36:48
the jacket we pulled out of the bag. It must
36:50
really be the same one. Sam's nodding but not saying anything.
36:56
We're both thinking it. It's just not possible. She'd have
37:00
to be like seventy. No amount of botox can make
37:02
a granny look like bad. I guess it could be
37:05
her daughter is still I bury this stuff after all
37:08
this time, can't make heads or tails of it. We agree,
37:13
we have to show dad. Oh he was mad we
37:17
lost window privileges. We lost some window plivipages. Oh he
37:22
was mad, we lost window privileges. You ever hear that
37:25
grounding taped up our windows with cardboard looking outdoors is
37:28
for boys who don't perve on devil MILFs.
37:31
Speaker 2: And he's not wrong. After that, he took us on
37:34
a drive with him, just driving around, and he talked.
37:38
Speaker 1: We kept our mouth shut. My whole life, my whole
37:42
life been in apartments, he said, always paying rent to somebody,
37:46
nothing for myself. This is the first time I've a
37:49
place to my own. And you boys know that we
37:52
ain't going nowhere. You just have to.
37:55
Speaker 2: You just have to stay away from that female next door,
37:57
stay away from that house, from that yard.
38:00
Speaker 1: Don't look at them titties. There's enough of those on
38:02
TVs these days. You get me, We got them. Dad
38:06
give us plenty of talks before. He's looked at Obama
38:09
with the speeches. He never gave us one like this before.
38:12
He's like Obama with the speeches. He's like Obama with
38:16
the speeches. What does that mean? Oh, let me be clear. Okay, okay, yeah,
38:21
I see, let me be clear. Uh, don't look at
38:25
them titties, Michelle. He never gave us one like this before.
38:29
Red Finny wasn't so Red. Finny wasn't so stupid. He
38:32
was stupid, but he was stupid because he always listened
38:35
to me. Red thought Thaddeus was the smartest boy there
38:38
ever lived. But no, I was the stupidest one there.
38:42
I was one that started him. He pulled into the
38:45
casino parking lot and stopped after we heard the scream.
38:48
I was spot on that house all the time. I
38:50
had my cheap binoculars. I saw that female, just her shape.
38:54
And finally one night, all the lights went off. I
38:58
called up Red and we went. One of the back
39:01
windows was left wide open. We didn't even have to break,
39:05
just had to enter. There was this funny smell and
39:09
almost choked you. We could hear snoring upstairs, and Red
39:14
sets He'll take downstairs in the basement, and I get upstairs.
39:18
I'm looking at all these rooms, just empty rooms. I
39:21
hear the snoring come out of one of these little
39:23
female moans. I got that girl fever going, so I decided.
39:28
I got a peek in the room, going real slow,
39:31
and I'm scared as hell. But I think about to
39:34
see her sprawled out there in the bed in some
39:36
tiny nightgown. That's not that's not what's in there. There
39:41
ain't anyone. There ain't anyone in that bed. It's a
39:44
record been playing the sounds the whole time, I tell myself.
39:48
Then I'm stupid and Red stupid, and we're both stupid.
39:52
There's real trouble here. I see these pictures around the
39:55
record player, say same ones, you found that box, minus
39:57
some I d sneak out there and go to I
40:00
try to sneak out of there and go to Red.
40:02
The door won't push open. I push harder. It starts moving.
40:06
Then I hear this laughing. I see the same I
40:09
see some old man was pressed up against the door.
40:12
I'm so scared. Now I get mad. What the hell
40:15
you doing, you old creep? I say something to that effect.
40:18
He tells me he has some candy for me, but
40:20
he's holding a wood chisel. I run out of there.
40:23
I hear Red screaming from the basement. Then it stops.
40:26
He won't answer. I hear someone. I hear someone coming
40:29
and laughing. I hear someone coming and laughing. Okay, first
40:32
I want to say, it's not someone is walking towards
40:36
me and laughing. Okay, I thought I was gonna die.
40:39
The window. The window I came in closed up solid now,
40:42
So I smashed through that thing. Still had the scar
40:44
on my ass from where I crawled out. Told what
40:47
I could without implicating myself. Maybe should have to hold more.
40:51
Maybe Red might still be alive today. That's what I
40:54
have to live with. He could still be alive, I said, Son,
41:00
Red's jackie. You found He wore it that day. The
41:04
place was evil, the female was evil. Somehow she found me.
41:09
You just keep your noses clean and you say your prayers.
41:11
She'll get bored and go. Trust your old dad. We
41:14
drove back home. Didn't say another word mentally. I committed
41:18
to doing just what Dad asked. Nose clean, high fiber
41:21
diet and prayers. Okay, the old man bit.
41:29
Speaker 2: Freaks me out. I will say, is the old man
41:33
were they? You think that there was implications that they
41:36
were hypnotized at all?
41:37
Speaker 1: Here to go in? Otherwise? Is the man just putting
41:41
on a record of snoring.
41:45
Speaker 2: And he's just like I hope somebody comes in here
41:47
so I can offer them candy and I can laugh
41:51
in the basement and come. You know what I mean?
41:53
Is it one of those things?
41:54
Speaker 1: Because to me, I'm like, eh, it feels kind of weird,
41:56
doesn't feel like what Also, too, I think that it's
42:01
I think that we're dealing with, yes, some kind of
42:03
like even if it's not a witch, it makes me
42:07
think that the man in there is the true form
42:09
of the big titted woman, and that's just like praying
42:11
on little boys. But maybe it's an older man who's
42:15
trying to suck the youth out of if I try
42:18
to suck the life force out of young boys for himself.
42:20
Speaker 2: I don't know. Things like this happen, and they don't
42:23
just leave your mind.
42:25
Speaker 1: So as I'm making friends at school, I'm just gonna
42:27
pretend I don't have a suckubist living next to me.
42:30
I was talking to this one dude. He tells me
42:32
how we should hang out this weekend and.
42:34
Speaker 2: Where do I live. Oh man, poor darnell.
42:37
Speaker 1: I'm sure we just want to enjoy my like I'm
42:39
sure he just wants to enjoy my company and not
42:40
to look at the evil sex pot next door. I
42:43
see the street, I say the street, and before I
42:45
give him the number, he says, oh, damn, you mean
42:49
the street with a big titty girl.
42:50
Speaker 2: These days, these tits have got to be legendary.
42:53
Speaker 1: If it's spreading across, it's like a goddamn wildfire in
42:56
this town.
42:57
Speaker 2: Dude, these are some biblical titties. Holy mo. This dude.
43:01
Speaker 1: Powell tells me to come on, and I need to
43:03
talk to Darnell. I don't know who that is. And
43:06
while we're walking, he's saying, how they all know about her.
43:10
Darnell saw her first because one night he was driving
43:13
around and saw this crazy sexy woman just taking her
43:16
trash to the road, and when she bends over to
43:18
pick up a candor recycle, he almost hits a fucking tree.
43:22
He keeps certainly the blocks to drive past again, and
43:25
he says, she's not.
43:26
Speaker 2: Even mad, she's waving. Next day, he's telling everyone.
43:30
Speaker 6: I saw this fine piece in this tiny little dress
43:33
and these big old melons and a pumpkin ass, and
43:38
they were like melons.
43:40
Speaker 2: And pumpkins, you know what I'm talking about? And he
43:43
said pumpkin ass because when I saw it, I was like,
43:46
I want to be Pumpkin that ass.
43:49
Speaker 1: All right, this kid rules, dude, This is this is
43:53
a this is a this is a sharp shooter if
43:55
I've ever seen one. I was trying to ask this
43:57
guy some real questions, but he's got hits and ask
44:00
in the brain now. And he tells me how Darnell
44:02
was taking them on drives past the house during during
44:07
lunch for a month, but they stopped. So I asked
44:10
him why because Darnell came in one day said he
44:14
had hit that rearranged her guts good, took all the
44:17
mystery out of it. Driving by wasn't the same. After
44:19
he's lying, we found Darnell out in the parking lot.
44:22
He was sitting in the Mustang door wide open with
44:24
a few other dudes around. Pal tells Darnell, I live
44:27
next to Pumpkin Ass, and Darnell's like you get with
44:30
a yeah, hot to trot, my man. I don't want
44:34
to sound like a loser, you know what I mean,
44:35
So I just say not yet, but I says.
44:37
Speaker 2: Oh, you're missing out, my man. You think the outside
44:41
of that's good, bitch is even better on the inside.
44:44
Best pussy ever had?
44:46
Speaker 1: Whoa the dudes around him are saying even better than Lefty,
44:51
but he ignores the jab and keeps going. She wants
44:54
it so bad she pulls me in the house and
44:55
tore her clothes off.
44:56
Speaker 2: She's so wet. I slided right.
44:58
Speaker 1: Up in her, and she's begging me to go slow
45:00
of mota and tells me it's too big. And you
45:02
know what she feels like inside pussy, this dude says,
45:09
But uh, I will say the pussy like I is
45:13
that Does it feel like they said pussy? I'm telling
45:15
my man, it feels like there's all these tiny little
45:17
hands in there, like thousands of them, all of that,
45:20
and they're all massage and a rub mony like milk.
45:23
Speaker 2: And a tidy little hands. One of his buddies says,
45:27
you sure wasn't yours.
45:28
Speaker 1: They are all laughing at him, and he was getting
45:30
mad until he saw I wasn't laughing. You know, yeah,
45:33
like like every cell just wants to make me feel good.
45:36
You always wouldn't know about that, but this guy does.
45:40
Speaker 2: No.
45:40
Speaker 1: He said, I never got with that. Call me a liar.
45:44
I guess so, because if you went in there, he
45:47
wouldn't have had a good time and you might not.
45:50
Speaker 2: Even got out. He showed me up.
45:53
Speaker 1: He shoved me up against another car and got in
45:55
my face with some with some threats. He wanted to fight.
45:59
He wanted me to fight him, but I walked away.
46:01
Dad don't mind me fighting so long as it's worth it,
46:03
and I knew it wasn't. What school is over, Darnel
46:06
was waiting. He asked me if I want to drive.
46:08
I tell him no way, but he says he's but
46:10
he says he has something he needs to tell me.
46:12
It's about that woman. He seems different now the cockingness
46:15
is gone.
46:16
Speaker 2: So I get in. He warns me, I can't go
46:18
telling anyone what. He warns me. I can't go telling
46:21
anyone else.
46:22
Speaker 1: What he's about to say. I'd be driving by there
46:25
all the time, take an excuse, you know, Like she
46:29
knew I was coming. She'd be out there doing something
46:32
each and every time.
46:33
Speaker 2: Her eyes would be like.
46:34
Speaker 4: Oh, come fuck me, Darnell, come fuck me, and part me,
46:38
and part of me was like too good to be true,
46:40
and another part, a big part you feel me, was like, hell, yeah.
46:46
Speaker 1: This one day, I'm done playing. So I stop and
46:49
I go up and I knock. She's at the door,
46:51
wearing almost nothing at all. I'm like, if there's a
46:55
lottery for ass, I just hit the mega million's jackpot.
46:58
I straight up tell her she's been cocked teasing long enough.
47:01
She says, well, why don't do something about it? And
47:04
that sounds like she's playing, But she could have just
47:07
been uh but she could have just been the weather
47:09
radio the way she said it. Oh yeah, so she
47:12
owes shit. So she was just like, why don't you
47:14
come and do something about it? She didn't even ask
47:18
twice though. I got my hands all over that and
47:20
closed the door behind me. She feels cold, so I say,
47:24
I'm gonna warmer up good. It's real weird because she's
47:28
not like.
47:28
Speaker 2: Reacting at all.
47:30
Speaker 1: I'm squeezing those big hits and she's thinking about her
47:32
Netflix big tits and she's thinking about her Netflix. Should
47:36
I squeeze harder, baby, I say, and tell her. She
47:39
tells me to wait there. I'm there for minutes and
47:42
my patient's about to war My patient's about war out.
47:45
Speaker 2: I don't hear anything like she just disappeared.
47:49
Speaker 1: Just house noises, a clock taking, like a faucet dripping,
47:53
and then this chuckle. I wonder what she's playing at.
47:58
I call out and she won't answer. I hear a thud,
48:02
so I go looking. I want to get to the stairs.
48:05
That's when I that's when the whispers start, like she's
48:09
talking to someone. Maybe she's on the phone telling her husband.
48:13
She was telling her husband, she's just been doing laundry,
48:16
you know. Feel me keep going up the stairs, and
48:19
now I know someone else is in the house.
48:22
Speaker 2: Whoever it is sounds like a fucking lf or something
48:25
I don't know. And he just keeps laughing in this
48:28
way that gives me the freaks.
48:30
Speaker 1: I go in the room with a couch and an
48:33
old old TV, like you know those TVs that got
48:35
wood panels. Who wants a wooden TV? I go in
48:39
there with the I go in there and the whispers start.
48:41
Stop right away, man, I mean right away. I'm getting
48:45
some bad vibes. Then I see her there the back
48:49
of her head. She's just sitting there on the damn
48:52
couch watching TV.
48:54
Speaker 2: I'm thinking, what the hell is?
48:55
Speaker 1: This bitch is down the fuck Suddenly she needs to
48:59
watch her afternoon shows. So I go up to her
49:01
and I say hey, and she turns round and ain't
49:06
her at all. It's this creepiest shit, old man. He's
49:10
wearing her hair and her dress and he's laughing. I said,
49:14
you think this is funny? I mean, where's she at?
49:17
Speaker 2: He points behind me, and I look behind me and
49:19
it's a closed door. I turned back in the few
49:22
seconds and this old guy moved like an arm length away.
49:25
I can smell him, smells like, look where there's original
49:30
fucking old man Candy scared the shit out of me. Man,
49:34
I swear this is true.
49:36
Speaker 1: I look over his shoulder and whatever the hell he
49:38
was watching on TV is watching us now. It's like
49:41
a talk show, but they're staring right at the camera
49:44
and not saying nothing.
49:45
Speaker 2: This show does that. And the old man starts pointing
49:48
behind me, nodding and laughing. His eyes are the craziest
49:51
I've ever seen in my life.
49:52
Speaker 1: And I want to look, but there ain't no way
49:54
I'm taking my eyes off that creepy son of a
49:55
bitch again. So I back down out that.
49:57
Speaker 2: Room and he says to me in this voice like
50:00
he got a radio static in his voice or something,
50:02
and he says, you made the right choice. I didn't
50:06
even notice until he had a corkscrew in his hand.
50:08
I bolted the hell out there.
50:12
Speaker 1: We've just been driving around the same block while he
50:14
got this whole story out. I got the feeling he
50:16
wasn't telling me something, so I said, so, okay, my
50:21
granddad raised me for when I was really young. My
50:24
folks ain't worth a shit. That my folks ain't worth
50:26
a shit is why why track spent most of their
50:29
life in prison. Granddad had been dead for a year now.
50:33
On the way out of that house, I thought, I
50:35
smelt my granddad the same smell, the same smell always
50:40
in my granddad's home. Almost he turned around and look,
50:43
but I didn't. I don't believe in ghost and shit,
50:47
but I was so scared it had me imagining. He
50:51
stopped the car at the very end of the street,
50:53
far from that house. None of us said a word
50:55
for a while. I believe the story, though.
50:59
Speaker 2: I didn't believe he arranged her guts this I believed.
51:02
That got me laughing a bit to myself. The whole
51:05
thing was so creepy and serious that it made me
51:08
laugh more. The fuck Darnell said, where'd you get the
51:12
tiny hands to shit from? I asked.
51:14
Speaker 1: He burst out laughing too, and told me he got
51:16
out of his car already told me to get out
51:19
of his car.
51:19
Speaker 2: Already.
51:20
Speaker 1: When I was getting out, he said, be careful, man.
51:24
I decided I wasn't gonna tell Sam and Sam what
51:26
Darnell said. You don't need to be freaked out more
51:28
than he already was. It wasn't doing me any favors,
51:31
that's for sure. That night, Sam was watching anime in
51:35
his room. Now it's on discord with some old friends.
51:37
Sam comes in my room looking like a ghost.
51:39
Speaker 2: JP.
51:41
Speaker 1: She's right outside the window. Dude, you didn't take that.
51:46
You didn't take down that cardboard. We'd been real good
51:48
about doing what Dad said. I ain't look at them titties.
51:51
I ain't look at them titty since I thought about
51:54
him a little though. Sam says no, I just I
51:56
hear something. I'll go back to Sam's room and I
51:59
stay there in the front of the cardboard. I tell
52:02
him I don't feel any I tell him I don't
52:04
feel anything. So he tells me to listen real close,
52:07
hold my breath, and I hear it. It sounds like someone.
52:12
It sounds like someone heavy breathing on a phone. Look
52:14
at the movies, just to wind the trees. I tell him, relax.
52:20
I go back to my room. A few minutes later,
52:23
Sam's back. I'm like, come on, man, because he's acting
52:26
like he's five. He's begging me to come hang out
52:28
in his room, and I do. When I get in there,
52:31
that breathing sounds already gone. I sit on his bed
52:33
and I get on my phone, and then I hear
52:36
it like like scratching at the cardboard with the window
52:41
been pulled up. I freeze up. Sam's just looking at me.
52:46
Then the breathing starts up again. We don't say a word,
52:49
too scared for that. I get up off that bed
52:52
and get close to the cardboard. Sam shaking his head
52:55
and put my ear against the cardboard. Hear anything, same ask,
52:59
So shushed Sam, as so I shushed him. I hear,
53:04
I hear, I hear a vehicle go outside, some crickets,
53:06
and then I whisper clear as if someone's.
53:08
Speaker 2: In my room. I'll starting out ooh.
53:13
Speaker 4: Ooh.
53:13
Speaker 1: I think we should tell Dad. I tell Sam. He's
53:16
staring at the carboard like he's about to piss himself.
53:18
I turned to see two fingers poking through a gap
53:20
in the tape and quickly pull back.
53:22
Speaker 2: We didn't waste another second. We were getting Dad. Okay,
53:24
that shit actually got me. I'm not gonna lie. I
53:28
heard that should I actually scared myself.
53:30
Speaker 1: I like what I keep like thinking someone's behind me,
53:32
and shit, that's pretty fucking good. I do love the
53:37
idea of a guy, like of a guy lying about
53:41
a sex story to his buddies when it was like
53:44
a traumatic thing, and then we get we get to like,
53:47
hear this guy who was just like I was just
53:49
trying to get some pussy, and then all of a
53:51
sudden he's terrorized by this like guy in a fucking wig.
53:56
Speaker 2: Very odd.
53:56
Speaker 1: The supernatural element of the story is very interesting because
53:59
it doesn't take huge swings like the TV. It's almost
54:02
like the hypnotism factor is like having people hallucinate things
54:06
like Darnell looking at the TV and there's people just
54:09
staring at him, not saying anything, but it just seems
54:11
like it seems like it's hypnotizing people so.
54:14
Speaker 2: He can get close enough to kill him or something.
54:18
A few days.
54:19
Speaker 1: Past, with nothing else happening, Dad was practically on patrol.
54:23
He'd been checking up the He've been checking up the
54:25
windows all the time. He put an old he put
54:28
an order in for cameras, he was doing his best
54:31
to keep us safe, and I remembered how awesome he is.
54:33
The only thing is he wouldn't go to confront her.
54:37
When I got home from school that Monday, Sam was
54:39
already home, his middle school closer to home than high school.
54:43
As soon as I come in, he grabs you by
54:45
the shirt and starts yanking me to his room. Also too,
54:48
I would imagine that if they, even if they tried
54:50
calling the cops or somebody, I think that we've at
54:53
least a story. Feels like it's established that even if
54:55
the cops went there, either one the titties are so
54:58
magnificent that the cops are going to be distracted by it,
55:01
or it's just they're gonna be like, it's.
55:02
Speaker 2: Just a woman.
55:03
Speaker 1: There's like no, you know, I imagine that the entity
55:07
or whatever would put on a show to not get
55:11
to not get caught.
55:12
Speaker 6: You know.
55:13
Speaker 1: When I got home from school that monday, Sam was
55:14
already home. His middle school is closer to home than
55:18
the high school, And as soon as I come home,
55:19
he grabs me.
55:20
Speaker 2: With the shirt and starts yanking me to his room.
55:22
He whispers, jape, we should what should we do?
55:25
Speaker 1: And I'm like go our separate ways. He then puts
55:28
the He then puts these panties in my face. They're
55:31
lacey red. I don't think they'll fit you, I said,
55:35
He says he found them in his school bag. He
55:38
shows me on the butt. On the butt helped me
55:40
as written an eyeliner or something. Oh my god, wait, wait,
55:44
so is the is the woman being used as like
55:47
a fucking it's like a pond? What all right, you
55:51
motherfuckers who are saying sniff you need a guy on
55:54
First off, I just want to say this to the
55:55
people listening to this right now. We have a patron.
55:58
We have a patron whose name is fucking Rick Sanchez.
56:00
Doesn't even have a profile picture of rich Sanchez, and
56:03
he just keeps typing sniff.
56:05
Speaker 2: All right, that's who. Welcome to our community. What do
56:09
we do, JB. We got to show Dad, right, I
56:11
tell him no, I had this idea just filling around
56:14
the back of my mind for a while.
56:15
Speaker 1: I didn't pay too much mind. This message is like
56:18
missing a piece of a puzzle. You know, Dad's already
56:21
on our rampage. If we show him these.
56:23
Speaker 2: He'll whip our asses with her own dicks.
56:26
Speaker 1: I'll hide him. I mean, think about it. She's got
56:29
these crazy, hypnotized blank stares. There's all this strange stuff.
56:34
There's a creepy old man, Darnell sa in the house.
56:36
And now she writes a message that just says, help me.
56:39
I have to trust my gut. Maybe she's a victim.
56:42
Maybe I can save her. Maybe we should want to
56:45
reward her hero. And I'll say I'm no hero. I'm
56:48
no hero. Just in the right place at the right time.
56:50
And then I take her to a movie and one
56:52
thing leads to another, and I sniffed the panties and
56:54
that felt I was right.
56:55
Speaker 2: Okay, all right, well there we go. Never mind, Rick Sanchez,
56:58
you are completely Rick, You're completely uh, you're completely fucking
57:05
You're justified. He sniffed the panties. There you go.
57:07
Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, why do I why do I even try?
57:11
You know, Rick, I cannot believe to say this, But
57:16
in a creep Cast episode, Rick Sanchez hit a bear trap. Wow,
57:22
good for you, Rick. One point for Rick. We'll give
57:24
him a point. I think it's a trap, Tem tells
57:26
me later that night, just tell Dad it does smell
57:31
like a trap too. Sure, but I can make an
57:33
execu but I can make an executive decision. We're gonna
57:36
hide the panties under my mattress. I'm gonna see if
57:38
she's dicking with us. Nobody's telling Dad nothing. I go
57:42
take the trash out that evening, and while I'm out there,
57:44
I slipped. I slipped my undies in her mailbox. I
57:47
wrote on him two am, garage side door. Why not
57:52
just in a fucking Why not just a note, dude,
57:54
have for your underwear? I said, an alarm to wake
57:56
up at two am? Except I can't sleep. Neither can Sam.
58:00
We're both too wired thinking about it. I go into
58:02
his room and we wait for two am. It's a
58:04
school night, so we have to be real quiet. Sam whispers,
58:08
what if Dad's right? No, I guess we're fucked. He
58:12
whispers again.
58:14
Speaker 2: What if Dad's wrong?
58:15
Speaker 1: Though, maybe we'll get fucked. That cracks him up, makes
58:19
him relax a little more. Now one point fifty five,
58:22
I go take a piss. I'm not even drinking anything,
58:24
but I have to go every twenty minutes. I'm so nervous.
58:28
Speaker 2: Just takes me a few seconds. When I get out,
58:30
I see stamps, I see stamp h I see Sam standing.
58:33
Speaker 1: Frozen in the doorway of his own bedroom. I go
58:36
to ask if he's okay. I have to carver my
58:38
mouth to stifle my scream.
58:40
Speaker 2: She's there.
58:42
Speaker 1: She's standing in Sam's room, wearing the same lacey what
58:47
they call negligee. I guess, because it's like she's it's
58:51
like she's neglied. She's neglied to put anything on. I'm
58:56
too freaked out to be excited.
58:58
Speaker 2: She says.
58:59
Speaker 1: She says some things I can't follow because I'm still
59:01
in shock that she's just there. Sam and I closed
59:04
the bedroom door anyway, and sit Sam's bed, and sit
59:07
Sam's bed with her, and sit on Sam's bed with her.
59:10
Speaker 2: I guess that's what she asked us to do. I
59:12
don't remember.
59:13
Speaker 1: How is it that you're acting normal all of a sudden,
59:15
I ask, I mean, creevious hell peeping at us from
59:17
behind the tree. That wasn't me, She said, that was him.
59:23
He looks just like me sometimes. Who pros that's what
59:29
he calls himself? Who knows that's his real name?
59:33
Speaker 2: He started having seizures of some kind. What okay? What
59:36
the fuck is going on? Hold on a second, Hold on?
59:40
So she's completely normal right now? Question, why do you
59:44
not run for help? Well, I found a pair of
59:47
shitty underwear. I better go talk to the neighborhood boys
59:50
next door. Am I lost here? Unless she's unless this
59:53
is coming into some kind of uh well, he could
59:57
be a trap. That is true.
59:58
Speaker 1: It could be a trap, but it also so it
1:00:00
could be her just being like, hey, you're in immediate danger,
1:00:02
and I have to tell you.
1:00:03
Speaker 2: I can't. I can't go anywhere else right now. I
1:00:06
owe it to you, guys to tell you. I don't know.
1:00:09
She's whispering real low, like she's just a few feet away.
1:00:13
But she wasn't traced her a robotic like before, or
1:00:16
she wasn't transd to a robotic like before. She felt
1:00:18
like a real person. I could till she was scared,
1:00:21
and I was right. I'm thinking was right all along.
1:00:24
She was a victim. She's normal now. Look at her.
1:00:27
Speaker 1: She even moves her hand when she talks. She didn't
1:00:30
do that before. I'm looking at her in that negligee now.
1:00:34
Speaker 2: And dim she sees you start a few days ago,
1:00:40
when they happened.
1:00:42
Speaker 1: I can think for myself. I don't know how long
1:00:45
it's been years. The first time was the first time
1:00:50
was the night I buried the stuff in the backyard.
1:00:53
That was a warning. I know you guys, watch me
1:00:56
you're supposed to do he wants you to. I made
1:00:58
sure he watched me digging. Did you get the warning?
1:01:02
Why didn't you do anything about it?
1:01:05
Speaker 2: We felt pretty stupid.
1:01:06
Speaker 1: Then it made perfect since though she wanted us to
1:01:09
dig it up, and at least we could say it's
1:01:10
Dad's fault if you're good. Now, how do you know Dad?
1:01:15
And what happened to Dad's friends? Sam asked, he remembers
1:01:18
you from years ago. She looks sad, and Sam asked
1:01:22
that I give him a punch in the arm for
1:01:24
making her sad. Man, she looked good just sitting there
1:01:27
on the floor. I wanted to comfort her, she says.
1:01:30
She could tell we don't believe her. It looks like
1:01:33
it looks like she's about to leave. I would like
1:01:35
I would like them to ease up online. I feel
1:01:38
like the situation is serious enough now to where even
1:01:41
even the horniness of a boy should be It should
1:01:44
be done now, you know.
1:01:45
Speaker 2: What I mean. I give Sam a calm you're ass
1:01:48
down look and tell her I believe you.
1:01:50
Speaker 1: She smiles at me. Sweet and warm like apple pie.
1:01:54
Dad was wrong.
1:01:55
Speaker 2: I knew it. I'll tell you something I've never told,
1:01:58
and I've never been able to tell anyone before. I
1:02:02
was just a little girl living in some rundown apartments
1:02:04
in Denver. My parents were gone a lot doing odd jobs.
1:02:09
I always noticed this little hole in the wall in
1:02:10
my bedroom. Sometimes at night, they hear funny sounds coming
1:02:15
out of it, like moans and whales and snickers. Very faint,
1:02:21
I believe some of our many strange neighbors were doing it,
1:02:23
or their pets, or their televisions. But one night, sounds
1:02:28
seemed a lot closer than usual. I stared at that
1:02:31
hole for hours.
1:02:33
Speaker 1: You know when you stare at some at some point
1:02:35
in the dark room, how everything around seems to get
1:02:37
darker and darker. Then suddenly a white face is there
1:02:41
looking up at me. It's looking at me from inside
1:02:44
the hole.
1:02:45
Speaker 2: I shrieked, but I was too scared to move, and
1:02:46
my parents were gone, so no one was coming to
1:02:49
help me.
1:02:50
Speaker 1: They kept watching me. The hole was with the size
1:02:52
of a coffee cup. I didn't see his whole face,
1:02:55
just parts of a time, his gritting eyes and nose,
1:02:59
or his nose and mouth if I just had to
1:03:00
imagine the whole face. I didn't like what I imagined.
1:03:05
Speaker 2: Then it started talking to me, saying I should relax,
1:03:08
and he's just my neighbor and he.
1:03:09
Speaker 1: Knows this strange hole in the wall. I sighed in
1:03:12
relief right away. I was still not comfortable with this
1:03:15
man looking in my bedroom. At least I understood why
1:03:18
this was happening.
1:03:20
Speaker 2: I told him the hole was there for a long time,
1:03:22
and he asked him it and he asked if I'd
1:03:23
made it.
1:03:24
Speaker 1: I said no. He asked where my parents were. I
1:03:28
told the truth. You still with me, no doubt. I
1:03:33
had the dumbest look on my face because I'd just
1:03:34
been caught and joined the view. Then I saw she
1:03:36
was calling out Sam, not me. Showed some respect, I
1:03:40
told him, then told.
1:03:41
Speaker 2: Her to keep going.
1:03:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like you should. That takes me out
1:03:45
of the flow, all right, come on. When he found
1:03:47
out I was alone, he said I should come over
1:03:49
to his place, Come on to the other side. He's
1:03:52
been my neighbor for a long time, he said, I
1:03:54
should come over now. We just moved into that place
1:03:57
a few months ago, so I didn't know what he
1:03:59
was talking about He said, at least come look through
1:04:01
the hole.
1:04:02
Speaker 2: I started to go. Then I heard him snickering, same
1:04:06
sound I heard before. I knew something was wrong with
1:04:09
the situation, so I threw a pillow in front of
1:04:10
the hole. I didn't hear him for a few seconds.
1:04:14
Speaker 1: Then he screamed this awful scream, like a train breaking.
1:04:17
I covered my ears until it stopped. Then I heard
1:04:19
a different voice, like a crumbling building. You thought it
1:04:23
was the dog looking your feet, but it was me.
1:04:25
I ran into the kitchen and cried myself to sleep
1:04:27
that night. Oh oh, what fucking licking the tootsies?
1:04:36
Speaker 2: Good God? What dog?
1:04:38
Speaker 1: I asked years before that we had a little palm palm,
1:04:41
and my feet stick out, and my feet stick off
1:04:44
the side of my tiny bed. Sometimes I feel these
1:04:46
little licks, and I'd giggle and pull my feet in.
1:04:48
Speaker 2: I never thought about it. I was like four. But
1:04:51
you know what, that dog was never allowed in my room.
1:04:55
Speaker 1: I remember that then, and I never put it together
1:04:57
before because nothing else seemed possible. I'd never been so
1:05:01
scared in my life. Then, when he told me that,
1:05:05
I told my parents what happened. My father talked to
1:05:07
the building owner. They came to my room really concerned.
1:05:11
Owners moves the pillow side, takes a look at the hole,
1:05:13
and just like that, he says, my story's made up.
1:05:17
My father was getting mad and the link at the owner.
1:05:19
The other said, I'm a liar because no one lives
1:05:21
on the other side of the wall. You can guarantee
1:05:23
it because it's not just a joining wall. It's sheet rock,
1:05:26
then brick, then outdoors. Father tells him he doesn't matter.
1:05:30
Take down the sheet rock and see what's between the walls,
1:05:33
because his daughter doesn't lie. He was my hero. He
1:05:36
actually did take the sheet rock down. It was a
1:05:38
narrow space. I was a tiny girl and I would
1:05:41
have trouble fitting. No grown man could have been in there.
1:05:44
The only thing inside was snake skin. Ah, dude, these
1:05:48
fucking this snake the snake skin motif is Where the
1:05:51
fuck is this going? What is what is happening? What
1:05:54
is this creature? Years later, that man found me again.
1:05:58
Speaker 2: I won't talk about that, but that's what he does.
1:06:02
Find someone and wants them, and he'll wait your whole
1:06:05
life for the right moment.
1:06:07
Speaker 1: Oh shit, Okay, Well, fucking dude. Our protagonists and Sam,
1:06:11
they need to they need to tell their dad immediately.
1:06:13
By the way, their dad is in trouble. That was
1:06:16
her story. That's some weird shit.
1:06:19
Speaker 2: I told her.
1:06:19
Speaker 1: If that's even half true, she needed to run away
1:06:21
while she could go to the police.
1:06:23
Speaker 2: But she said he'd be looking for her by now.
1:06:25
She needed to hide for the night. Can I stay
1:06:28
here just tonight, she asked. She was so close.
1:06:31
Speaker 1: I could feel the heat from her body. I could
1:06:33
smell her. It wasn't Kenya this time. She smelled like
1:06:36
flowers and strawberries.
1:06:37
Speaker 2: I will have told him. I would have told her
1:06:39
no if I had. If I had, if I had
1:06:41
a book.
1:06:41
Speaker 1: Called how to Murder your Neighbor and get Away with
1:06:43
it in her left hand. You can stay in my room,
1:06:46
I said, without hesitation. Sam looking at me like I
1:06:49
just like I just took a dump on his head.
1:06:51
And I think it's because he's still scared of her.
1:06:54
Speaker 2: But he comes up to me when she goes to
1:06:56
the bathroom and says, I should have to stay in your room.
1:06:59
She gave me the paintings. Remember should we do rock
1:07:02
Peoper Scissors? I had some good motivation this time, you
1:07:05
know what I mean. I did rock and.
1:07:07
Speaker 1: It was decided I have a pretty big closet, So
1:07:10
I set her, so I set uh. So I set
1:07:13
her a place to sleep there because his dad's all her,
1:07:15
that'd be it. He sent us to the glue factory.
1:07:18
She asked if she'd asked if he'd be mad.
1:07:20
Speaker 2: I was like mad.
1:07:21
Speaker 1: You know what it's like to have your own foot
1:07:23
broken off in your ass?
1:07:25
Speaker 2: Now?
1:07:25
Speaker 1: I said, Also, isn't this like, how old is this
1:07:27
woman supposed to be? First off, she's forty, right, yeah,
1:07:31
she's forty. What the fuck is it? Now? I set
1:07:34
myself down on the bed and try to sleep. How
1:07:36
am I supposed to sleep with all with all that
1:07:39
in my closet?
1:07:40
Speaker 2: I think. I keep thinking. I keep thinking of what
1:07:42
Darnell said, Magamillion's jackpot in the ass. That's about right.
1:07:47
Speaker 1: Must have been staring at the ceiling for an hour
1:07:49
when I feel her crawl into the bed next to me.
1:07:50
Speaker 2: Oh my god, Oh my god. Brah, it's too good
1:07:57
to be true.
1:07:58
Speaker 1: Run child, ruh, you're still awake, she asked, too much excitement.
1:08:05
I guess she put her head on my chest and
1:08:07
her arm around me. I can figure her breast present
1:08:09
against me. So I think.
1:08:10
Speaker 2: About that creepy old man instead? Who is he? I asked,
1:08:15
why me? Why dad? If he has a reason, he
1:08:19
doesn't tell me. He goes from town to town.
1:08:22
Speaker 1: Each place he takes a kid, usually a teen, and
1:08:25
since he got me, he's been focusing.
1:08:27
Speaker 2: On boys, uses me as a lure. Then we go
1:08:30
to the next town.
1:08:31
Speaker 1: All right, that's a bear trap for me. That is
1:08:33
a fucking bear trap. I want a point as well.
1:08:37
Rick Sanchez can't get the only bear trap. All right,
1:08:39
that is a fucking bear trap. What happens to the kid.
1:08:43
He doesn't. He doesn't think like we think. He's in
1:08:46
touch with something else outside the natural order. He told
1:08:50
me about it once, a long time ago, when he
1:08:52
used to talk more. He said he killed a man
1:08:55
in his youth, went to hide in Canada, deep in
1:08:57
the woods. There he found something. Somebody showed him things.
1:09:02
He uses the boy. Somehow they disappear and he goes on.
1:09:06
You're shaking, she said, I've been trying to hide it,
1:09:09
but my whole body was like jerking. I couldn't control it,
1:09:12
I know, I told her, and she started rubbing my chest.
1:09:15
Speaker 2: He just keeps me in a box, and I hate
1:09:17
the box. Do I? Have to sleep in the closet.
1:09:20
Can I stay out here with you? I guess, she says.
1:09:25
She wanted to thank me for helping assists of thanking
1:09:27
me that night, and she did. It was the best
1:09:30
thinking I'd ever had. And after all the thinking, she
1:09:32
told me what we really had to do? What what
1:09:46
this has to be a uh, this has to be
1:09:49
written by like a seventeen year old boy.
1:09:51
Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you that right now. This is this
1:09:52
is probably one hundred percent written by a sixteen year
1:09:54
old boy. I'll tell you that right now. She told
1:09:58
me what we really had to do. No run, she
1:10:00
tells me, he'll always run faster. We steal his pills.
1:10:04
They're not from the pharmacy. I can tell you that
1:10:07
without his pills, he's powerless. Can't even make him, can't
1:10:11
even make more. If we can get in the house
1:10:14
and take them, we can kill him and I'll be free.
1:10:17
Speaker 2: Kill him. It's fentanyl. Kill him. If I'm free, I'll
1:10:20
have all the time in the world for thinking you more.
1:10:22
She said.
1:10:22
Speaker 1: Okay, this is a fun. Okay, if I'm free, I'll
1:10:26
have all the time in the world for thinking you more.
1:10:28
She said, Okay, So first off that this is person's evil.
1:10:33
There is no fucking way there is. This is the
1:10:36
most obvious trap. My boy is blinded run away child.
1:10:42
Speaker 2: Again.
1:10:43
Speaker 1: With that, she gave me another sample of her gratitude.
1:10:46
I heard the call of booty, and I agreed to
1:10:47
her plan. All right, I heard the I heard the
1:11:00
call of booty, and that I will say, that's pretty good.
1:11:02
I don't have to use it on my wife.
1:11:03
Speaker 2: Sometime. I heard the call of booty.
1:11:05
Speaker 1: Okay, so I'm thinking I'll slip out and get them
1:11:07
now before it's too late. As I was getting ready
1:11:10
by the light from my phone, I hear something. Remember
1:11:13
how my mom stays up watching her stories. No, because
1:11:16
I thought her mom was fucking I thought her mom
1:11:17
was dead. I even though that she was there, I
1:11:18
thought it was just their dad. I remember how my
1:11:21
mom stays up watching her stories. Well, mom walks in
1:11:24
right then to ask what I'm still doing up that
1:11:26
she sees the girl. I'm embarrassed, thinking, now my mom's
1:11:29
gonna know I was just with this girl and that's
1:11:31
my mom. And then, oh man, what about what she
1:11:33
tells dad? She doesn't say what I expect it all
1:11:37
she looks scared to death. Now, let me tell you
1:11:39
a little about my mom. She's super smart, reads like
1:11:43
a book a day. She used to teach a geology.
1:11:45
She used to teach geology in school. She got burnt out.
1:11:48
She stays home now and keeps to herself. She's always
1:11:51
been a little different, Like she could tell you when
1:11:54
you're sick before you even feel it. So my mom
1:11:55
sees the girl my bed. She puts her hand on
1:11:57
my chest and says, John Baptiste, who is this man?
1:12:03
You know when people say the blood drained out of me,
1:12:05
I didn't know what that felt like until then. I
1:12:09
turn around and she still she still looks at the
1:12:11
girl to She still looks like a girl to me,
1:12:14
but she's smirking most evil damn smirk I've ever seen.
1:12:17
She pulls the cardboard off my window and climbs right out,
1:12:20
still smirking, runs up and hugs me. She hasn't done
1:12:23
that to me in like two years, and I cried.
1:12:37
The bussy is a dangerous and powerful drug. My friends,
1:12:42
my man was, My man was in the desert and
1:12:45
sow a mirage John Baptiste, who is this man that
1:12:51
is uh? That is fucked? John Baptiste who is this
1:12:55
man is a that is that? That has to be
1:12:57
a creep cast legendary line of my God. The call
1:13:03
of Bussy is louder than is louder than most my God?
1:13:08
Speaker 2: Tricks? How is that? How is that title of the
1:13:11
chapter not tricks? My God? Hold on?
1:13:14
Speaker 1: I feel like the wind is knocked out of me.
1:13:17
It's it's one of those things where it's like it's
1:13:19
too good to be true. It really is, obviously, but
1:13:22
I did not expect the story to go where the
1:13:25
guy fucked the old man. That is crazy, my god,
1:13:33
Old Grandpa pussy dude, it's fucked up little Grandpa Bussy
1:13:38
wrapped up and depends tricks. Mom woke that up, sat
1:13:43
us all down, and she didn't even have to ask
1:13:45
for an explanation. She just had to look at you.
1:13:47
Me and Sand crumpled like a fat man's lawn chair.
1:13:49
We just we just up and told them everything. That's
1:13:53
the oldest struggle nun to man.
1:13:54
Speaker 2: That'sai.
1:13:55
Speaker 1: After a moment, a boy's loyal to you, to his dad,
1:13:58
or to his dick. Ordinarily, his dick is going to
1:14:01
live longer, except I haven't decided how him to deal
1:14:03
with you yet, So that's up in the air. He
1:14:07
was saying his normal mad threats. Also, I just want
1:14:09
to say, cracking a joke. I just want to say
1:14:11
the author, I am emotionally swinging, all right, I am
1:14:15
emotionally swinging the dad.
1:14:17
Speaker 2: We're still cracking jokes. And John Baptiste just fucked an
1:14:22
old man, fucked bussy like a couple times he got
1:14:25
sucked and fucked by an old man. I mean, we're
1:14:27
still we're still cracking jokes. I'm just gonna say that
1:14:29
we're still cracking jokes about all right. He was saying
1:14:33
his normal mad threats, but this wasn't Dad when he's mad.
1:14:37
Speaker 1: He was more disappointed. I don't know, never seen him
1:14:40
like this. We say we're sorry, and we mean it.
1:14:43
He takes me aside and tells me it's too late
1:14:45
for sorry. Once that thing got your juice, you're marked.
1:14:52
How do you know that, daddy, How do you know
1:14:56
about juice to get offensive like that. She's hendocent. You've
1:15:02
seen that creep yourself with a wood chisel. She's under
1:15:05
a spell. I'm thinking we can rescue her and maybe
1:15:08
even stop that man before he hurts anyone else. That's
1:15:11
just shaking his head like I'm trying to order mcdouble
1:15:13
at a burger king. You remember that time at the
1:15:15
barber shop you're going across. I told him that I
1:15:17
remembered so he would stop there. Okay, do you remember
1:15:20
the time you almost Scott on that school bus and
1:15:22
I stopped you. I barely remembered that. It's not something
1:15:26
I thought much about as I remembered it. I was
1:15:28
round nine or ten and Sam was six or seven.
1:15:31
I remember this woman waking us up to go to school.
1:15:33
She says she was the babysitter. That wasn't anything strange.
1:15:37
She was strange. But we just did what what we
1:15:40
just did what we got told, got ready and headed
1:15:42
out to wait for the bus, the babysitter standing beside
1:15:45
us in the porch and not saying anything.
1:15:47
Speaker 2: This part is what I remember best.
1:15:49
Speaker 1: When the bus pulls up, she starts hitting her head
1:15:51
against the porch post and groaning. The bus wasn't like
1:15:58
our normal school bus either. It was white, and one
1:16:01
of the and one of the short buses. Me and
1:16:03
Sam were going to it because what else could we do?
1:16:06
And neither uh never could see the never could see
1:16:08
the driver. Suddenly we see, we see dad drive up
1:16:12
and come running out of his car. We're surprised because
1:16:14
he's supposed to be at work. He's yelling for us
1:16:16
to stop, and he grabs us when he catches up
1:16:18
the bus driver. The bus drives off right away, so
1:16:21
we think we did something wrong. But Dad lets us
1:16:23
watch TV the rest of the day. And that's why
1:16:26
I remember most something weird happened and the dad let
1:16:29
us watch cartoons all day long. One of my favorite memories.
1:16:33
It was a Memorial Day. He said there was no
1:16:36
school that day. Oh my god.
1:16:38
Speaker 2: Okay, I just want to say I just want to
1:16:41
say this this story that I'll tell you what the little,
1:16:44
the little reveals are haymakers, all right, the little the
1:16:49
little uh, the the reveals are haymakers. I'm not gonna lie.
1:16:54
This is right.
1:16:55
Speaker 1: When I think that, like some of the sex and
1:16:57
like the jokes or whatever, it just it pulls you
1:16:59
back in with something. Also, if it's a white if
1:17:03
it's a white short bus, does did anyone else just
1:17:05
think that it was.
1:17:06
Speaker 2: Just like a white van.
1:17:08
Speaker 1: I feel like I feel like I'm in my mind,
1:17:09
I'm just picturing like a Chevy, like a Chevy white van.
1:17:12
They never found that bus. Nobody knew who the babysitter was,
1:17:16
and she wouldn't talk. I guess the police. I guess
1:17:20
the police picked her up. Mom and Dad really did
1:17:22
have to work, and there really was a babysitter. The
1:17:26
fake one told the real one to get lost. But
1:17:29
you know, the thing that freaked meant the most, the
1:17:31
thing that freaked me out the most learning this. It's
1:17:34
not just what what it happened to me or Sam
1:17:36
if we got on the bus. It's that I know
1:17:38
I saw some kids already on that bus.
1:17:47
Speaker 2: Bruh.
1:17:49
Speaker 1: Oh my god, dude, When when the fuck is the
1:17:53
author gonna.
1:17:54
Speaker 2: Let me take a minute. Dude, my god, I feel
1:17:57
like this is round three in a boxing event, Like
1:17:59
I am, I'm a dude. Holy shit, Once.
1:18:03
Speaker 1: You get marked, they think they got a claim on
1:18:06
your offspring, like it's theirs. Dad said, I know I
1:18:10
ain't the only fool that dipped in that. Oh my god, Jesus,
1:18:13
I know I'm not. I know I ain't the only
1:18:15
fool that dipped in that. But they're not having my kids.
1:18:17
Now you've gone and made sure you'll live with the
1:18:19
same shit I did. I to make sure you can't
1:18:21
have no kids right now, Please tell me this is
1:18:23
not like a Tommy Taffy thing. This is this is
1:18:26
this is this is slowly slowly becoming a Tommy Taffy situation.
1:18:31
If the dad and Tommy Taffy fuck Tommy, I think
1:18:35
I think Dad can see.
1:18:35
Speaker 2: He got to me.
1:18:37
Speaker 1: I was near tears now just because I'm remembering what happened.
1:18:40
It was just thinking that one bad choice could ruin
1:18:42
my kids' lives. Hi, I played on having kids someday.
1:18:47
He puts his big hand on my shoulder. Dad hands
1:18:49
always feels like it weighs about twenty pounds. He says,
1:18:52
I just need to get I just need to get
1:18:54
to school and he'll take care of it. Dad, you're
1:18:58
like fifty two, all right, and nothing has happened. I
1:19:01
don't trust you to solve this. I don't trust the
1:19:04
dad to do anything. What has the dad done yet?
1:19:07
Speaker 6: Oh?
1:19:07
Speaker 1: Just go to school. Your dad will take care of it.
1:19:09
How about no, dad, how about you fuck yourself. Okay,
1:19:12
you're gonna tell me what really happened with you in
1:19:14
red because we both know that he just confessed to
1:19:17
getting it on with the woman, and he very much
1:19:19
admitted that detail.
1:19:20
Speaker 2: From the original version of the story.
1:19:22
Speaker 1: You're on the school, get on to school for now,
1:19:24
he says, Wait, so hold on, hold on, let me
1:19:26
just make sure am I read the guy was sitting
1:19:31
on the bed. Are we to assume that they that
1:19:33
the kid still had sex with like some woman who
1:19:37
is under a spell that I'm guessing was the same
1:19:39
woman that was on the porch?
1:19:43
Speaker 2: Or is this or was it that even the dad
1:19:47
doesn't realize that he had sex with the guy, so
1:19:49
it is the dude. Okay, So I'm guessing that I'm
1:19:52
guessing the dad doesn't realize too that he that he
1:19:54
also that I guess that the dad also dipped it in,
1:20:00
So both the so both his son and the dad
1:20:03
have have gotten to experience like devilish graand pussy. Okay.
1:20:07
I meet Sam at our street as we're both.
1:20:09
Speaker 1: Coming home from school because we can see Dad's car
1:20:11
in the driveway. Inside, we find mom in her backroom
1:20:14
reading Dad anywhere in the house. I just want to say, too,
1:20:18
it is odd how calm the mom is. Both the
1:20:22
both the mom and dad have got me have got
1:20:24
me questioning things. Why is the mom still just reading
1:20:28
Junibe Jones in the back goddamn room, like nothing's happening.
1:20:31
Did she just see that her son got done dick
1:20:33
and down an old man and even her husband's just like, yeah,
1:20:36
put my dipstick in that a couple of times and
1:20:38
the oil's clean.
1:20:40
Speaker 2: Why? Why is why is no one else? Why is
1:20:43
no one else reacting? You know it's side.
1:20:47
Speaker 1: We find Mom in her backroom reading. Dad ain't anywhere
1:20:49
in the house. We asked Mom, what's up, but she
1:20:51
doesn't know. She's been lone wolfing again. She gets worried
1:20:56
when she's when she sees our faces, so we have
1:20:58
to fill her in. She keeps asking more questions, so
1:21:01
we had to keep answering.
1:21:03
Speaker 2: By the time she's done judge judying us, she knows
1:21:05
just about everything there is to know. I've never heard
1:21:09
of red Finny, she said, you just believe everything that
1:21:13
man tells you. They'd call your dad red on account
1:21:16
of of how he'd charged you when he played hold
1:21:20
on a second. Let what.
1:21:22
Speaker 1: I never heard of red Finny, she said, do you
1:21:25
believe anything that man tells you? They call your dad
1:21:28
red on account of how he charged you when he
1:21:30
played what There is no there is no fucking way
1:21:38
the dad is. I figured it's just some lore from
1:21:41
Dad's life. She forgot, so we show her the pictures
1:21:43
of Red Finny with the jacket. She says, they all
1:21:47
She says, they all had that jacket back then. The
1:21:49
boy the picture was Phil McCoy and no one ever
1:21:51
called him Red. Oh no, I said, Because I knew
1:21:55
where Dad was, I took off, running to the neighbor's house.
1:21:59
Sam was right by. We didn't care what creepy shit
1:22:02
was in that house. Dad says a lot of colorful things.
1:22:05
Dad says a lot of colorful sayings. I know it
1:22:06
seems like he's mad all the time, but Sam and
1:22:08
me both know he'd do anything for us, even die.
1:22:13
He made me the guy I am today, all the
1:22:15
good parts anyway. He's just the most amazing person.
1:22:17
Speaker 2: I know. Dude, What the fuck are you talking about?
1:22:21
What I mean? What he's the most amazing guy? I know? Motherfucker?
1:22:26
Has he just been lying to you this whole time.
1:22:28
Speaker 1: I don't know if I like the Dad, if I
1:22:30
made notes so the dead don't, I don't know if
1:22:32
I'm on board with the Dad all right, So thinking
1:22:35
I'm gonna kick in the door like in the movies,
1:22:37
sept isn't even locked. We just open the door and
1:22:39
walk in. First thing I noticed doesn't smell like burnt
1:22:42
sugar no more. Smells more like old socks and jockstraps.
1:22:46
Speaker 2: Oh, he's been.
1:22:47
Speaker 1: Fucking It's real dark inside, everything covered in white cloth.
1:22:51
There's handprints on the walls, but they're down low, like
1:22:54
someone was crawling around.
1:22:55
Speaker 2: On their belly. JP ware those fingers so long. Sam asked,
1:23:00
let's not ask questions. Let's not ask any more questions.
1:23:03
I said.
1:23:04
Speaker 1: We come to one room at the end of the
1:23:05
downstairs hall where we can hear flies buzzing around inside.
1:23:10
There's gotta be thousands of them to make that noise.
1:23:12
Sam looks at me like he's about to open it, but.
1:23:14
Speaker 2: I stop him. There could be in there, he says,
1:23:18
I just you know.
1:23:19
Speaker 1: I got a real bad feeling about that room, like
1:23:21
almost making me sit going near it. I tell him
1:23:23
to trust me, and he does.
1:23:25
Speaker 2: God. We went back to where the staircase went up.
1:23:28
We could hear voices.
1:23:30
Speaker 1: We tensed up at first, We're ready for a fight,
1:23:33
until he recognized the voices there were our own. What
1:23:37
we got nearer and could hear what we were saying,
1:23:40
Sam saying.
1:23:41
Speaker 2: She's a titties on that, but you wish she picked
1:23:44
this room, and me saying we're spending a lot of
1:23:46
quality time together.
1:23:49
Speaker 1: Inside that room, the wall was just full of monitors,
1:23:52
like a control room or something. They were all playing
1:23:54
some video from inside our home. One monitor even showed
1:23:57
me and Sam as kids playing with toy swords. I
1:24:01
never saw that video before. I think I think there
1:24:04
was blood on one of the monitors. I didn't tell Sam.
1:24:06
I didn't wanted to lose hope.
1:24:08
Speaker 2: We left that room and went across this one.
1:24:11
Speaker 1: This was the room Darnell described the old TV in
1:24:15
the couch and someone's sitting on the couch. Almost screamed
1:24:18
when I saw it. I slowly walked forward, then my
1:24:21
eyes adjusted. There's no way it was the creepy old man.
1:24:26
I didn't know who it was.
1:24:27
Speaker 2: It was just a middle aged black man just eating
1:24:30
oatmeal and watching some black and white TV show. Sir,
1:24:34
I say, don't put me in the dark. Don't put
1:24:36
me in the dark. Don't put me don't put me back.
1:24:39
And he kept saying that last part. He didn't sound scared,
1:24:42
but there was no feeling to it. He just kept
1:24:44
saying the words eating oatmeal and watching a show. I
1:24:47
shake his shoulder and tell him he's that we're looking
1:24:50
for my dad. Fad. He went upstairs. Now he's gone, gone.
1:24:56
Speaker 1: Where into the dark. We talk about too much. It's
1:25:00
liable to come get you. You want to see a trick?
1:25:04
He put his hand up to his head. The TV
1:25:06
turned off. I couldn't see remote anywhere. Pretty cool, huh,
1:25:10
We nodded. Remember how you'd fall Remember how you'd fall
1:25:14
asleep watching Aladdin? He asked, Remember how you'd fall asleep
1:25:18
watching Aladdin? Bad for the power?
1:25:21
Speaker 2: Bill?
1:25:21
Speaker 1: Want to see another trick? Sam started tugging my hand
1:25:24
at that point. I don't think he wanted to see
1:25:25
another trick. I know for sure I didn't. He put
1:25:29
his hand on his head again and screamed. As soon
1:25:31
as he did, my phone started ringing. It was my dad.
1:25:34
Dad was calling. I told the dude to shut up,
1:25:37
and he stopped screaming. I answered him. Both me and
1:25:39
Sam were calling to him, asking where he was. On
1:25:42
the other end, all I heard was hissing. Nobody ever spoke,
1:25:46
Where's Dad?
1:25:47
Speaker 2: I asked the man again.
1:25:48
Speaker 1: I bunched my hand into a fist because I was
1:25:50
about ready to get some answers from this a hole.
1:25:53
He put his hands up to his hand. Oh okay,
1:25:55
I think he just he puts his hands together.
1:25:57
Speaker 2: You don't want to see this trick. I fall out.
1:26:00
I followed same mountain downstairs.
1:26:03
Speaker 1: The buzzing had left that Uh, the buzzing had left
1:26:05
that one room, So did my bad feeling. Inside it
1:26:09
was just a pile of tar on the floor and
1:26:11
a dead snake. More crazy voodoo shit.
1:26:13
Speaker 5: I thought.
1:26:14
Speaker 1: We looked in every room of that house. Now Dad
1:26:17
wasn't inside. We told Mom, and together we made a
1:26:21
police report. Police told us they look into it. But
1:26:23
our dad an adult.
1:26:25
Speaker 2: But our dad an adult, and if he chose to
1:26:27
run off with a sexy neighbor.
1:26:29
Speaker 1: That makes him a jerk, not a criminal. I couldn't
1:26:32
believe they saw it that anyway. I couldn't believe they
1:26:34
saw it that way. They didn't know Dad at all. Plus,
1:26:37
the house next door wasn't officially occupied. They said a
1:26:39
couple from Vancouver owned it. They leave it empty until
1:26:42
they fly down in the winter for a few months.
1:26:44
So they figured Dad had his mistress just chilling there.
1:26:47
I what, what the fuck is going on. Okay, couldn't
1:26:54
you just I mean, like, okay, so they get there
1:26:56
and the guy is gone whatever, but couldn't you take Hey,
1:26:58
there's a guy in there and he's like fucking tapping
1:27:00
his head and turning on TVs and calling my dad
1:27:02
or whatever.
1:27:03
Speaker 2: There's a goddamn dead snake and tar in there. Hello,
1:27:06
what is happening? I don't know? Energy.
1:27:10
Speaker 1: About two weeks after Dad went missing is when the
1:27:13
white dudes in the suit showed up at the front door.
1:27:16
Don't want to deal with no Jehovah witnesses with all
1:27:18
that's going on. They were something else. They show up
1:27:22
with their badges that say Department of Energy.
1:27:24
Speaker 2: They're asked them to.
1:27:25
Speaker 1: Speak with John Baptiste and I say that's me. They
1:27:28
come right in without asking. They sat on the couch
1:27:31
like really close to each other. Their hands are touching.
1:27:33
It was weird, like there's plenty of room, guys. Then
1:27:37
they started asking questions. They want to know everything about
1:27:40
everything that's been happening. I'm not sure what I should
1:27:43
tell them. I don't know these guys. I don't like
1:27:46
it much either. I just tell myself, if there's any
1:27:48
chance they can help with Dad, I should tell them
1:27:50
everything I do, just that the full crazy, not one
1:27:56
turd of batshit left out of it. They don't look
1:27:59
surprised or nothing like I was telling them about last
1:28:02
night's game, you.
1:28:04
Speaker 2: Know what, you know what? They're more interested the box.
1:28:08
Did you see the box? He asked.
1:28:10
Speaker 1: I tell them no, I didn't see it, And could
1:28:13
you've seen this box and not been aware of it?
1:28:15
And I was like, if I wasn't aware of it,
1:28:17
then I wouldn't know if I've seen it or not.
1:28:20
Speaker 2: So that's a yes, it's a no.
1:28:23
Speaker 1: They each pulled a caprice on from their inside pockets,
1:28:25
stabbed it with a little straw, and started sucking what
1:28:28
adults drink apri son. Then they say, have you or
1:28:33
anyone in your family had sexual contact with the entities
1:28:36
residing next door? It's funny because I heard in titties
1:28:40
as then as as I heard entities as them titties.
1:28:44
I know that sounds childish, but they said it funny,
1:28:47
what like they wanted me to hear titties. They didn't
1:28:50
seem like something in the department. They didn't seem like
1:28:52
something the Department.
1:28:53
Speaker 2: Of Energy would do.
1:28:54
Speaker 1: Though I ignored it because that one small detail had
1:28:57
indeed left out of my account. They had no business
1:29:00
knowing that. Are you guys here to help find my dad?
1:29:03
I strap asked him. They answered with where is he?
1:29:07
I tell them I don't know, that's why he's missing.
1:29:10
They look at each other and grab hands like they
1:29:12
were somebody cop movie. They finished their caprice sign and
1:29:15
politely return to their own pockets. Listen, John Baptiste one says,
1:29:20
did you get a grasp when the and did you
1:29:22
get a grasp when the identities of the neighbors again
1:29:25
identities was pronounces?
1:29:27
Speaker 2: I like them titties, I dim titties. We get it.
1:29:31
Speaker 1: I told them that they know all I know already
1:29:33
and that half of it was probably bullshit. Don't be
1:29:37
a boob. The other said, breasting to do is cooperate.
1:29:40
It might be tituous, but take a moment, try to
1:29:43
jug your memories.
1:29:45
Speaker 2: He's losing me, dude. This is this is just like that.
1:29:49
That's how they said it.
1:29:51
Speaker 1: Now now I knew they were digging with me, but
1:29:54
they look so serious, like crazy serious. I don't know
1:29:57
if they'd ever smile, and they're lives serious. It wasn't
1:30:00
no prank or joke. They were just trying to get
1:30:03
under my skin or messed with my head or something.
1:30:05
It was working too. I was thinking of her big
1:30:08
soft breast and feeling guilty about it. Then they asked
1:30:10
that they could use the bathroom. They went together. You
1:30:13
know what, I never saw them again. There's no way
1:30:16
out of that house except windows. None of the windows
1:30:18
were opened. Didn't look and didn't look like they'd been
1:30:22
to the bathroom either. Just not sure how they did it,
1:30:25
but they just fucked off. Sam came downstairs a minute
1:30:29
or so later. He'd been asleep. He had been sleeping
1:30:32
a lot since Dad went missing. That guess that's how
1:30:35
he handles it. He says, JB, Who the hell those
1:30:38
dudes in your room? So we run upstairs and there's
1:30:40
nobody there, no way to get out except them stairs.
1:30:44
Speaker 2: You hallucinating.
1:30:46
Speaker 1: Two dudes in suit just walked right into your room
1:30:48
before I ran down. They were smiling real wide, but
1:30:50
they were a sign above the door saying this way
1:30:53
for blowjobs.
1:30:54
Speaker 2: That's another weird thing.
1:30:55
Speaker 1: To get upstairs, they would have had to come back
1:30:57
out from where they from where the downstairs bathroom is
1:31:00
and walk by me.
1:31:01
Speaker 2: But that never happened.
1:31:03
Speaker 1: I don't know how they got up there or where
1:31:05
they went, or searched every inch of the home to
1:31:08
make sure they weren't hiding, only finding One thing I
1:31:12
found was a business card. It left it on my pillow.
1:31:16
Days later, I'm still thinking they're going to pop out
1:31:19
when I'm in the shower. I don't know who those
1:31:21
guys really were. I don't know what they want from me.
1:31:24
Pretty sure they ain't department of anything. Prey sure they
1:31:26
won't be helping me or Dad either. The next day,
1:31:30
I was driving home from the grocery store and I
1:31:32
see the middle aged guy from the house right Finny.
1:31:35
I guess i'll call him. He's walking real slow along
1:31:37
the sidewalk, shuffling really. I pull up to him and say, hey,
1:31:41
you need to tell the police what you know? Where's
1:31:43
my dad? He keeps shuffling along like I'm not even there.
1:31:48
So now I'm starting to get mad. I'm yelling at
1:31:50
this guy. This lady runs out of the apartment, is.
1:31:52
Speaker 2: Like, excuse me, what do you think you're doing? Who
1:31:54
do you think you are?
1:31:56
Speaker 1: I tell her this creep knows what happened to my dad,
1:31:58
and he won't say any say nothing. She says, mister
1:32:01
Turley has advanced dementia. He barely knows where he is.
1:32:04
Let alone, your dad, leave him alone. She tells him.
1:32:07
Come on inside, mister Turley, some people just don't understand.
1:32:12
Is there an Is this not one of your tricks?
1:32:14
Speaker 2: I asked.
1:32:15
Speaker 1: The man darts his hand into my car and grabs
1:32:17
my phone from my pocket so fast I almost didn't notice.
1:32:20
He starts messing around with it while I'm trying to
1:32:22
grab it back. Then he holds it out like he's
1:32:24
giving it back. I don't, and I see he's got
1:32:26
a sly look. I grab it anyways. When I do,
1:32:29
he pulls me close to him. He smells like mothballs
1:32:31
and rotten meat.
1:32:32
Speaker 2: And he whispers, call your dad tonight midnight. The lady says,
1:32:37
mister Turley, you want us to take your lights away?
1:32:40
Do you get inside? I watched him walk away. I
1:32:44
can help it nose and I can't help nose. The
1:32:45
lady nurse.
1:32:47
Speaker 1: She's got this nice fat butt with a tiny waist,
1:32:49
a pumpkin ass like Darnell.
1:32:51
Speaker 2: Says, and fine legs too.
1:32:53
Speaker 1: I'm looking her up and down, and I see he
1:32:55
got and I see she's got snake tattoos on her ankles,
1:32:58
kind of accepting it, kind of secks, except then I
1:33:01
think of all the snakes from that house.
1:33:03
Speaker 2: She turns backs and gives me. Then she looks at
1:33:06
me just then.
1:33:07
Speaker 1: And I exaggerate, and I exaggerated when I say it
1:33:10
looked like she wanted to stick a butcher knife in
1:33:12
my face.
1:33:12
Speaker 2: I drive the hell out of there.
1:33:14
Speaker 1: It's like a weird fucking like penny Wise. It's a
1:33:19
weird penny Wise creature or something. I don't know this
1:33:20
whole thing, though, of the continuous callbacks to how sexy.
1:33:25
Speaker 2: The thing is is getting a bit fatiguing as I'm
1:33:29
realizing we're almost two hours into this.
1:33:31
Speaker 1: That night, Sam and I watched the clock tick down
1:33:33
to midnight. We did what we wandered now. Mom didn't
1:33:36
care how late we stayed up. She just hid with
1:33:38
her books.
1:33:39
Speaker 2: Why in all these stories, I feel like you see
1:33:42
it a lot in children's stories, where the parents are
1:33:44
just super incompetent, and it feels like that it's time.
1:33:47
Speaker 1: Sam's shouted. I dial the number. We dialed many times
1:33:50
since Dad. We dialed many times since Dad disappeared. We'd
1:33:53
fill up his voicemail we'd ask for the phone to
1:33:55
be traced unsuccessfully. This time, for the first time, it rang,
1:34:00
it rang, and rang and rang. He's not going to answer, JP,
1:34:05
Sam said, sending more discourage than ever.
1:34:08
Speaker 2: Let me try again, and I did. He kept ringing again,
1:34:13
but this time someone answered Dad. There's no answer. It's
1:34:19
not silent either. You can hear breathing in some kind
1:34:22
of activity. Then Dad's voice singing. He's singing phenomenal Cat.
1:34:28
He used to sing that song to us all the
1:34:30
time when we were little, exactly like that. We're trying
1:34:34
to talk to him the whole time, but he just
1:34:36
keeps singing like it's a recording, so we give up.
1:34:40
We just listened to him singing, and then the phone
1:34:42
hangs up.
1:34:44
Speaker 1: We tried calling it back. We tried calling back and
1:34:46
it went straight to voicemail. We told the police, but
1:34:50
they still believe he ran away with his neighbor. We
1:34:52
told him about the Department of Energy too, and they
1:34:54
politely told us they get lost fear sing it hunter,
1:35:00
I don't know what I wonder what a phenomenal cat.
1:35:03
Speaker 2: It's a phenomenal cat. Can look at him go, he jumps,
1:35:12
he rolls, He's see.
1:35:19
Speaker 1: He's a phenomenonal cat, and he's he.
1:35:28
Speaker 2: To write him your day. There you go, phenomenal cat. Figa,
1:35:36
my dad's sister came down from Michigan to help help
1:35:39
find dad and help my mom cope. She really was
1:35:42
there to take us back.
1:35:43
Speaker 1: I guess all of our family agreed we couldn't handle
1:35:46
that house by ourselves. She had his pack up what
1:35:48
we needed, put it in her van, and drove me,
1:35:50
Sam and Mom to stay with her. Since we've been
1:35:53
staying with Anthea, nothing at all happened strange.
1:35:56
Speaker 2: No department of energy, no creepy old men, no snakes,
1:35:58
no titties neither.
1:36:01
Speaker 1: I almost forgot. I almost forgot what normal was like.
1:36:04
Kind of boring but cool too. I'm okay with it,
1:36:07
but I missed Dad so much. He's gonna make me
1:36:10
wear my balls for earrings? Who's gonna make me wear
1:36:13
my balls for earrings? Or whip me with my own dick?
1:36:15
Who's gonna get mad at me because I scratched myself
1:36:17
in a funny way. He's out there somewhere. I feel it.
1:36:21
I didn't know how Anthea. I didn't know Anthea too well.
1:36:24
Speaker 2: She and Dad didn't have a good relationship, I guess,
1:36:26
because he never talked about her and she never visited.
1:36:29
Speaker 1: She was practically a stranger. Mom needed the help, though,
1:36:33
so she took it. Once we'd been with Anthea for
1:36:36
a month or so, I started to trust her. She
1:36:39
was good to me and Sam, and she listened to us.
1:36:42
She took the time to get to know us. She
1:36:44
said good things about Dad, so a little bit at
1:36:47
a time, we told her about what had happened. She
1:36:49
never once said she had, never once said she didn't
1:36:52
believe us. One day, Anthea told us that she remembers
1:36:56
when she and Dad were both teens and he came
1:36:58
running into the house at night, and he looked scared
1:37:00
out of his mind. She thought, she thought right away,
1:37:04
that he got himself involved with gangs or some or
1:37:06
some or some such some shit I don't know. She
1:37:09
rolls up her magazine gives him a good hit with it.
1:37:12
He got mad, she said, But at least he at
1:37:15
least he's not scared anymore.
1:37:17
Speaker 2: She tells him that what he gets, you tell that's
1:37:20
what he gets from messing with gangs. It ain't gangs
1:37:23
at all. Though.
1:37:24
Speaker 1: There's something really wrong with the people in that big
1:37:26
house She tells him he needs to relax. They're just
1:37:29
circus people. Dad's like, what the hell are you talking about,
1:37:34
Anthea tells me. But sure enough, I remember seeing them
1:37:37
put on a magic show. I think it was at
1:37:39
like the circus, This old man and a woman. She
1:37:41
looked like she was in a daze the whole time.
1:37:44
He had her high behind a curtain. Seconds later, she
1:37:46
walked out of a door on the other side of
1:37:48
the other side of the stage.
1:37:50
Speaker 2: They were good. I thought, uh, they're good. I thought
1:37:53
I had it figured out that she had a twin.
1:37:56
Then they took a volunteer. They had them go inside
1:37:59
this They pretend they'd lost him. After that, the box
1:38:02
is empty.
1:38:03
Speaker 1: The young guy wasn't around nowhere, And finally they go
1:38:07
and find him in the box again. Maybe my hair
1:38:09
stand on end, because they swear to Jesus, I don't
1:38:12
normally swear at all that what came out of that
1:38:15
box was not the same boy at all.
1:38:17
Speaker 2: Looked just like him, but it wasn't him.
1:38:19
Speaker 1: I knew that boy, and that wasn't him, Or if
1:38:22
it was him, he'd lost something. He left town right
1:38:26
after that.
1:38:27
Speaker 2: Some folks said he'd seen things in that box that
1:38:30
it took him somewhere awful. Other folks laughed and said
1:38:33
the magician paid him real. Well, now that's what they
1:38:37
all call. Now, that's what they call digression. What I
1:38:40
really want to tell you is what happened to the
1:38:42
next day. Your dad goes off with his friends up
1:38:45
to this, up to their mischief. They stay at home
1:38:47
like I usually do.
1:38:49
Speaker 1: That lady from the circus comes by knocking on our
1:38:51
front door in person, and she's so beautiful. I remember
1:38:55
thinking that face. I remember thinking that face like a
1:38:58
hard big eyes lash fanning out like a wood nymph.
1:39:02
I was predisposed to think unkindly towards her. However, I
1:39:06
can't tell you why. She says, your dad left us
1:39:08
something in her house and she knows uh. And she
1:39:11
shows me his watch. It was a gift from our father.
1:39:14
He ought to be ashamed for losing it. She asked
1:39:16
if she can come in and give it to him.
1:39:19
Watched a lot of cop shows. I know a little
1:39:21
about looking around. I fancied myself a detective, so I
1:39:24
gave her a good look over. And you think a
1:39:26
girl like that wouldn't cast the finest shadow you ever
1:39:28
saw It wasn't. Her shadow was tall, lank, and bent
1:39:32
over like a wet scarecrow. There's no angle or light
1:39:35
that can make this girl cast that shadow.
1:39:37
Speaker 2: That's sick.
1:39:37
Speaker 1: I believe the devil can take any shape. So when
1:39:40
I saw that, I grabbed the watch and told her
1:39:41
to never set foot on the home again. She laughed
1:39:44
and said she goes where she pleases. She said that,
1:39:47
but that was the last time I saw her. That's
1:39:50
kind of sick, dude. Sam and me would talk to
1:39:53
Anthea a lot after that. She's just sharing ideas about
1:39:57
what happened, thinking things through. We didn't have a cork
1:40:00
board with string or nothing, but we were a little
1:40:02
team trying to solve a mystery, keeping each other honest.
1:40:06
Having someone you love missing a strange thing. If you
1:40:09
go back to living your life, sometimes being normal, and
1:40:12
then you feel guilty because you spent some time living
1:40:15
when they might be out there waiting for you to
1:40:16
save them.
1:40:18
Speaker 2: That's how it felt.
1:40:19
Speaker 1: It's not the same. It's not the same as if
1:40:21
Dad died. He was out there still, even for months passed.
1:40:25
I believe he was out there. We never stopped our beatings.
1:40:28
We've been named the group the finders. We didn't do
1:40:32
much of any finding though, more just looking. We started
1:40:35
the internet for clues for hours and hours and there
1:40:38
was nothing. You think something, you think someone else out
1:40:42
there had the same story, but nothing with We had
1:40:45
no leads, no further research. So what would we spend
1:40:49
our time doing? Just talking about it, analyzing the experiences.
1:40:54
It was like their therapy. It was like therapy and theorizing,
1:40:57
like philosophy or something. Anthea, Oh, Anthea would listen and
1:41:03
give us hints and guide our thinking in one direction
1:41:06
and then tell us why that made sense or didn't
1:41:09
make sense, like is that lady a demon? Well, maybe
1:41:12
let's think about it. Demons want you to damn yourself.
1:41:16
And she wanted well, there was another topic. What did
1:41:19
she want? She's got dad? Is that all she wanted?
1:41:23
Does she have to dig naked in her backyard for that?
1:41:26
Does she have to rub her them? Does she have
1:41:28
to rub the teddies over to get her dad?
1:41:31
Speaker 2: And Anthea would ask questions like, so you grab my
1:41:33
rice Krispy squares.
1:41:35
Speaker 1: When you want to watch a movie. What's them squares
1:41:38
got to do with watching a movie? So I guess
1:41:40
the point is she wanted dad, But I was a snack.
1:41:45
Speaker 2: On.
1:41:45
Speaker 1: We went lots of looking, no real finding. We decided
1:41:48
that we were all people wants bad people, and something
1:41:52
happened to them. We decided they were all people want
1:41:54
bad people and then something happened to them. But Sam
1:41:57
said they're aliens and maybe he's right.
1:42:00
Speaker 2: It helped. It helped as therapy. It helped.
1:42:04
Speaker 1: We were doing something. We were understanding what happened to us.
1:42:08
Understanding it. Anthea said we could master it, control it.
1:42:12
I wasn't sure how, but she was convincing. We finally
1:42:15
had a big breakthrough after months. It was completely unexpected
1:42:18
and other and it only happened. We finally had a
1:42:24
We finally had a big breakthrough after months. It was
1:42:26
completely unexpected. It only happened thanks to Sam, thanks to
1:42:29
Sam being a little pervert. That is, we were reviewing
1:42:32
the events again and we got to help. We got
1:42:34
the that and we got the help me message. Anthea
1:42:38
was asking more and more questions like are you sure
1:42:40
it was eyeliner? Should have been ash and such, and
1:42:43
that's when Sam revealed it, I still have the panties,
1:42:46
want me to bring him. We managed to sneak them
1:42:48
out of my room and keep them with his stuff.
1:42:50
Even after we traveled, he told no one until this
1:42:53
very day when we saw a steering He looked ashamed
1:42:56
and admitted that he.
1:42:57
Speaker 2: Liked to smell a little pervert.
1:43:00
Speaker 1: Get them, Anthea said, Sam offered them to her, She
1:43:03
backed away like they were made of buttholes and plutonium.
1:43:06
Just put them on the table, she said. Anyone touching
1:43:09
them will be under its power. Sam and I exchanged
1:43:12
a look. We heard a lot from Anthea and never
1:43:14
hint that she was a Santaria Centaria. What the fuck
1:43:19
does that mean? Santaria Centia or regular Deocha is an
1:43:26
Afro Cuban religion blending Yoruba beliefs with Catholicism, focusing on
1:43:32
relationship with the demons called Arisha's for a guidance and protection.
1:43:35
Oki doki. This is powerful, she announced, JB. Once you
1:43:40
go to my bedroom, look under the bed or you'll
1:43:43
see a wooden box about the size of your xbox.
1:43:46
Handle it from the sides and bring it to me.
1:43:48
You got it. How do we know this isn't the
1:43:50
old man? How do we know this isn't the old
1:43:53
man with the box? Hello, I'm almost positive that may our.
1:44:00
Speaker 2: Trap is pribed, is prepped all right. I'd never been
1:44:03
in a room before at this point.
1:44:05
Speaker 1: I expect to see chicken feet and trunken heads, but
1:44:07
now it was just a normal older lady's bedroom.
1:44:10
Speaker 2: EWW.
1:44:11
Speaker 1: I found the box right away. When I got back,
1:44:13
she had moved Sam back against the wall and was
1:44:15
walking in a circle around the table. She ordered me
1:44:18
to place the box on the floor next to Sam.
1:44:20
She came over to the box, squatted down to open it,
1:44:23
and pulled out an old MP three player I only
1:44:26
know because I had one when I was five. She
1:44:28
plugged it in that hooked it up to a little
1:44:30
speaker set that was also in the box.
1:44:33
Speaker 2: What is that?
1:44:34
Speaker 1: Sam asked, It's how Jesus listened to music. I said, Suddenly,
1:44:39
smooth Criminal was blasting as loud as those little speakers
1:44:42
could manage. I'll be able to tell you where they are.
1:44:44
She shouted, you have to leave. I saw her sit
1:44:47
in the chair against the wall and close her eyes.
1:44:49
She was muttering something as we left while while Maco
1:44:52
Jackson checked out on Anti's status. We left while ah fuck.
1:44:57
I saw her sit in a chair against the wall
1:44:59
and close her eyes. She was muttering something as we
1:45:01
left while Michael Jackson checked out Annie's status. Sam and
1:45:06
I didn't know how long this would take. It's not
1:45:08
like she told us much, so we just hovered around
1:45:11
for the door for a while. I gave Sam crap
1:45:13
about the panties while we waited. I'm surprised they weren't crusty.
1:45:17
He didn't reply, He just weighed. He just waited with
1:45:19
his head down. After thirty minutes, we got tired of
1:45:22
it and did another thing, and did other things.
1:45:24
Speaker 2: Then we went to bed.
1:45:27
Speaker 1: Anthea still hadn't come out of that room. The morning,
1:45:29
we could still hear Smooth Criminal on repeat. Sam went
1:45:32
to knock, but I shook my head. Turns out he
1:45:35
didn't need to knock anyway. The music stopped right then
1:45:38
she came stumbling out of the room, all sweating and coughing.
1:45:41
We had to help her downstairs. She drank three full
1:45:44
bottles of water and ate all the pop tarts right
1:45:46
out of the box.
1:45:48
Speaker 2: What happened? They're here? She said in Detroit.
1:45:53
Speaker 1: Just the kind of mockery I expected, such, just the
1:45:55
kind of mockery I expected, such.
1:45:57
Speaker 2: As what Hunter, what the fuck is wrong with your brain?
1:46:00
My god? In Detroit, just the kind of mockery I
1:46:04
expect of such as those.
1:46:05
Speaker 1: Go upstairs. You'll find a powder on the table where
1:46:08
the object was. Don't touch it, just put it on
1:46:11
one of my Mason jars. Just put it in one
1:46:14
of my Mason jars. Just put it one. I feel
1:46:17
like this type was. Just put it in one of my
1:46:19
Mason jars. Then in half a cup of milk. Wait, okay, hunter,
1:46:22
I need I need my fittanel my god.
1:46:26
Speaker 2: Go upstairs.
1:46:27
Speaker 1: You'll find powder on the table where the object was.
1:46:29
Don't touch it, just put it in one of my
1:46:30
Mason jars. Then add half a cup of milk. Okay, baby,
1:46:35
I never really like the baby comment. What is this
1:46:39
is a witch?
1:46:40
Speaker 2: All right? By object you mean panties? I asked her? Reply, Bory,
1:46:48
she was she was Dad's sister.
1:46:51
Speaker 1: Off I went again to follow her instructions. I asked
1:46:53
Sam to stick with her, just in case I didn't
1:46:55
understand what was going on. By trusted Anthea completely well.
1:46:59
When I went the room, there was a dead snake
1:47:01
where the panties had been. It was surrounded with red powder.
1:47:05
I used an old envelope to scrape the powder into
1:47:07
a mason jar. When I added milk to it, it
1:47:09
was bubbled and turned to blood, or it looked like blood.
1:47:13
They made a mistake, Anthea said. When we saw it,
1:47:16
Sam and I were anxious to do something. We couldn't
1:47:18
contain ourselves. But Anthea insisted we had to be patient.
1:47:22
Impulse got us into this, You're ain't going to get
1:47:24
us out, She said. The jar had to wait. The
1:47:27
jar had to sit for a week, so we had
1:47:30
to go about our regular lives. Plus we had math
1:47:32
homework to do, and she said we better do it.
1:47:37
The seven days we halted all finder meetings at Anthea's request,
1:47:42
using that time to do homework instead. She especially wanted
1:47:45
us to do our math work. Math clears the mind,
1:47:48
she said. The first day of that week, I heard
1:47:50
a strange noise outside my window, a sickening, warbling sound.
1:47:54
I ran to the window, thinking something was out there dying.
1:47:57
What I saw was a box just sitting in the
1:47:59
back yard, a wardrobe sized rectangle. Its door was open.
1:48:04
I couldn't see anything inside. It was the blackest black.
1:48:08
I went downstairs to the den window for a closer look.
1:48:11
Anthea and Sam were already there, already starting huh, she said.
1:48:15
Speaker 2: I don't like that thing.
1:48:17
Speaker 1: Sam said, it's just a box, I said, patting Sam
1:48:20
on the shoulder.
1:48:21
Speaker 2: But I knew better. I knew the moment I saw
1:48:24
it just by feel. It was the box.
1:48:27
Speaker 1: The box Anthea told us about the box. That bitch
1:48:30
told me he kept her in the box. The caprice
1:48:32
sid the but the box the caprice. Some guys wanted
1:48:36
if only Anthea said, Damn, thing got bigger since I
1:48:39
last saw it. Listen here, boys, they don't like what
1:48:43
we're up to, and they're about to do everything in
1:48:45
their power to stop it. And with that box, they
1:48:48
got a lot of power. It's gonna be the longest
1:48:50
seven days since the Lord created all things.
1:48:53
Speaker 2: What do we do? I asked, do your math. We
1:48:56
just thought she was kidding, but she shut that down.
1:49:00
To do your math homework. You're not gonna get You're
1:49:02
not gonna get ahead while you're at it. You're gonna
1:49:04
get ahead while you're at it. So hit the books.
1:49:07
Speaker 1: Before dinner, when I couldn't take any more equations, I
1:49:10
came down for a walk around smell what was cooking.
1:49:14
Sam was standing in the den after staring at the window.
1:49:17
What are you doing, I asked, watching it, He said,
1:49:21
it gets darker sometimes not possible.
1:49:24
Speaker 2: It is something in there is darker yet, and when
1:49:29
it moves you can see. He looked, and he was
1:49:32
hypnotized staring at the box.
1:49:34
Speaker 1: The last time we started to the last time we
1:49:36
stared too hard at something, it started.
1:49:39
Speaker 2: This whole mess.
1:49:41
Speaker 1: Knock that off, I said, and close the curtains. I
1:49:44
had to hold him back when he tried to reopen
1:49:46
the curtains. I'd never seen him like that.
1:49:48
Speaker 2: Stop. If I don't keep watching, something will happen.
1:49:52
Speaker 1: He got past me and flung up the curtains open,
1:49:54
and when he did, we caught a glimpse of some
1:49:56
hunched figure in all black, tiptoeing out of sight around
1:49:59
the corner. What was that, Sam asked Steve Rkle. I said, oh,
1:50:04
we didn't laugh. We told Auntthea what we saw. He said,
1:50:09
or she said, mmm mm. Go do your math. So
1:50:13
I did algebra two in sand did trigonometry. Boy waited
1:50:17
for something to happen. The only thing that happened was dinner.
1:50:21
It took me a long time to fall asleep that night.
1:50:23
I kept wondering what was coming next night was always
1:50:26
when missus Buba would get up to.
1:50:28
Speaker 2: Something sure enough. As soon as I knocked off, I
1:50:32
heard a whisper.
1:50:33
Speaker 1: Chippy Sam returned on the lamp. A frog was on
1:50:38
the floor by my bed. It opens his mouth and
1:50:41
I heard jip. I jumped off a bed and covered
1:50:45
my feet. The frog stared at me with its cold eyes.
1:50:49
Speaker 3: Jeepy, get your dad, could being a pussy and help
1:50:52
me out of the box.
1:50:53
Speaker 2: I can speak to you. They're this frog.
1:50:55
Speaker 3: You have to hurry.
1:50:57
Speaker 2: How do I know you're my dad? I asked, Remember
1:51:01
it whispered?
1:51:02
Speaker 3: Or the time I took you fishing out on the lake.
1:51:05
Speaker 2: I felt the tears starting to form in my eyes.
1:51:07
Speaker 3: You always wanted to go fishing. Now I even let
1:51:10
you make your own fly. We were supposed to catch trout.
1:51:14
We kept catching frogs after frog. That's why I used
1:51:17
a frog so you'd know. I remember that day. That
1:51:22
day you were thinking I did God women to death.
1:51:25
I did God woman to have so many frogs so
1:51:28
you'd be ready for.
1:51:28
Speaker 2: This day, frog day, ring the jar.
1:51:32
Speaker 1: Of blood to the box and give me count. None
1:51:34
of that had ever happened. Only the lake had been
1:51:38
right A lucky guess, so I picked up my shoe
1:51:42
to kill the damn thing.
1:51:43
Speaker 2: Stop.
1:51:45
Speaker 1: I'm in here, the frog and my little babies. It
1:51:48
was her voice, still whispering, but I could tell it
1:51:51
was her. It was like she was in the room
1:51:52
with me. I guess she was just in a frog.
1:51:56
Speaker 7: Put your babies in me? Remember you got me pregnant,
1:52:03
JB and you filled me up? Did you kill your babies?
1:52:08
Their grandpa likes them. They like to move. He moves
1:52:12
with them. We're always moving around, moving, moving, moving, little
1:52:17
baby bugs.
1:52:18
Speaker 2: Oh my god, good fucking lord. I knew, I knew it.
1:52:24
Speaker 1: Uh. I threw the shoot, I missed. The frog leaped
1:52:28
out the window. I know I had never opened that window.
1:52:31
When I went to shut it, I saw a face
1:52:33
staring up at me from the box. It wasn't the
1:52:35
woman or the old man. Something else. Felt dizzy and
1:52:39
sick when I saw it. It vanished almost right away.
1:52:43
I knew, I knew I wasn't going back to sleep.
1:52:45
So I went downstairs, and Anthea had a slice of
1:52:47
pie ready for me.
1:52:48
Speaker 2: In my math book.
1:52:49
Speaker 1: I fell asleep on the couch when the algebra book
1:52:51
with the Algeba book.
1:52:52
Speaker 2: Well, oh, I fell back.
1:52:56
Speaker 1: I fell asleep on the couch with the algeb book
1:52:57
on my algebra book on my lap.
1:52:59
Speaker 2: Fuck.
1:53:00
Speaker 1: I woke up to see Sam staring out the window again.
1:53:03
Stop looking at it, I told him.
1:53:05
Speaker 2: Who's pissing me off? Now?
1:53:07
Speaker 1: I couldn't sleep, he said, without turning around. Anthea's dogs
1:53:11
kept licking my feet all night.
1:53:12
Speaker 2: Uh hah, but that's right, she don't got a dog.
1:53:17
Speaker 1: The god, the goddamn licking of the dog. Good lord,
1:53:22
it is just like my aunt in San Diego. It
1:53:24
is so gross, it's so nasty. God damn it. The
1:53:28
day went to the day went much the same as
1:53:30
the previous day. Sam stared up, Sam stared obsessively.
1:53:33
Speaker 2: We ate meals, kept the doors locked, and we.
1:53:35
Speaker 1: Were forced to study a lot of math. Sam and
1:53:38
I camped out in his bedroom that night, wanted to
1:53:40
stick together with.
1:53:41
Speaker 2: No view of the box. JB are you awake, Sam asked,
1:53:45
when I was almost asleep. Jesus, Sam, Ram, Now.
1:53:48
Speaker 1: The thing's been putting ideas in my head. What when
1:53:53
I look at the box, it puts thoughts. It puts
1:53:55
thoughts in me that aren't mine.
1:54:00
Speaker 2: Me What it did to you that night with the
1:54:01
titty woman? She put creatures in your body. Oh my god,
1:54:06
my heart just about skipped a beat. No, Sam, I
1:54:09
put something in her after that. She did something to you.
1:54:13
When you're forty, you'll see stop. Told me. It'll turn
1:54:17
you into a chair. You'll still be alive, and you'll.
1:54:19
Speaker 1: Be still, and you'll still be yourself, but nobody will know.
1:54:23
You'll just see a chair and sit on you or
1:54:24
drag you around. You'll be alive and starving and tired,
1:54:27
but you can't die. Can you imagine being a chair?
1:54:31
Speaker 2: If we get in that jar, they'll fix it. It's
1:54:32
a lie. It showed me.
1:54:34
Speaker 1: Other things, he started saying. But I put my hands
1:54:37
over my mouth. Go to sleep, or I swear. That
1:54:40
was the night Sam started sleepwalking. Anthea caught him about uh.
1:54:44
Anthea caught him about to open the back door. So
1:54:47
day three, uh so day three the plan is Anthea
1:54:50
locks us in the room. But I wasn't going to
1:54:52
wait for night three. I asked Anthea, what happens if
1:54:56
we just stop all of this, give them the jar
1:54:58
and tell them the fuck off. Maybe they're never going
1:55:01
to leave you alone? She said, maybe for now, but
1:55:04
not for but not forever, and you'll never get your
1:55:07
dad back. I just thought, would dad want me to
1:55:11
risk Sam's life for this? My dad never he slapped
1:55:15
my ears, or even he slapped my ears for even
1:55:18
having to ask. I trusted Anthea, I did, but she
1:55:22
didn't know everything. I already learned all of algebra two.
1:55:25
I told her when she wanted me to do more math,
1:55:27
that's it. Hit the limit. Funny you mentioned limits, she replied,
1:55:32
because I'd like to introduce you to the differential calculus.
1:55:35
In the then you'll find a textbook from when I
1:55:38
was in college, from when I was from when I.
1:55:40
Speaker 2: Was a college girl. It's still good calculus.
1:55:43
Speaker 1: Don't change. I went to Sam at the window where
1:55:46
he was, where he was staring. Tears were running down
1:55:48
his face, and his eyes were full of blood. His
1:55:51
lips were moving rapidly. I could hear him saying some
1:55:53
of the ideas they were putting in his mind. I
1:55:56
made up my mind right then. I'm sorry, I told him,
1:55:59
and kissed forehead.
1:56:00
Speaker 2: It didn't move.
1:56:01
Speaker 1: So, while Anthea thought I was doing calculus, and while
1:56:04
Mom stayed in the room reading her kindle all day,
1:56:07
and while Sam got his ideas put in his head,
1:56:09
I pulled out the business card I'd saved and called
1:56:12
the Department of Energy, and within an hour a U
1:56:14
haul painted black pulled into Anthea's driveway. A bunch of
1:56:17
white men in dark gray suits jumped out the back.
1:56:20
What'd you do, Anthea asked me. The men stood at
1:56:23
a circle around the box, each holding up a smartphone
1:56:27
looking thing, and they walked in a circle around the box.
1:56:30
Heard that weird sound again, the sickening warble, and the
1:56:33
men took the box back to the U haul. While
1:56:36
they were doing that, the jar blood exploded, and the
1:56:38
blood inside burned a hole in Anthea's kitchen table. We
1:56:41
could have made it, she said, never see that box again. Now,
1:56:45
Sam wasn't doing his math. I told her we left it.
1:56:49
Speaker 5: That.
1:56:49
Speaker 1: Sam hasn't spoken to me since he understands what I did,
1:56:52
and he resients me for it. So that's the story
1:56:54
of how I grew up, how I became a man,
1:56:57
took responsibility, and made everyone hate me. I thought about
1:56:59
killing myself a few times since then, of all people,
1:57:03
of all people, the one who kept me from ending
1:57:05
it was Mom. She put her hand on my shoulder
1:57:07
and said Dad would be so proud of you. That
1:57:09
she added too bad. We're in that box. Not a
1:57:13
day goes by. I don't think of that. Oh god,
1:57:28
you know it's crashing out by yourself is such a
1:57:38
different experience.
1:57:39
Speaker 2: I feel like.
1:57:40
Speaker 1: Around the halfway mark, I was pretty I was feeling
1:57:45
the fatigue, like the humor was hitting me, and then
1:57:48
it just it just seemed like it's one of those things.
1:57:51
I mean, it's the it's the classic creepypasta conundrum where
1:57:55
it's like an interesting idea or a spooky a spooky
1:57:59
hook that goes absolutely fucking nowhere, and now it's just
1:58:02
this like a slog of an ending. And then it's
1:58:05
you can obviously tell that people they had no idea
1:58:08
what the fuck to do, so they're just like, hey,
1:58:09
it's done.
1:58:10
Speaker 2: I don't know, and they're they're in the box. That's it,
1:58:12
bye bye.
1:58:14
Speaker 1: But I will say halfway I think for about an
1:58:17
hour and fifteen minutes I have been in full blown
1:58:21
panic attack mode reading this the the like I kind
1:58:27
of like the idea at first, to where it was like, oh,
1:58:29
they're using the humor of like a kid wanting like
1:58:32
you know, a fucking teenage boy in high school wanting
1:58:34
sex whatever from a hot woman that lives next door
1:58:38
and you use that as a hook to propel you
1:58:40
into a fun story. But god, it just like it
1:58:45
just never fucking ended. Man, it just never never ended,
1:58:49
and we just christcendoed. I was just you know, And
1:58:51
the thing too is I could sit there and be
1:58:53
in nitpick the entire thing and be in this spot
1:58:56
where it's like, well, you know, you could just sit there.
1:59:00
This a four hour long recording, just complaining the whole time.
1:59:03
But uh, I don't know. I just I was powering
1:59:08
through to see if there was anything.
1:59:11
Speaker 2: It's weird too though.
1:59:11
Speaker 1: There were so many moments where it was like a
1:59:13
fun hook or a fun jab.
1:59:15
Speaker 2: You know what I mean, so many like little moments.
1:59:20
Speaker 1: But the dog looking feet, oh boy, getting grand bussy,
1:59:24
you know, all that stuff, A lot of little things.
1:59:30
Speaker 2: I didn't understand that. There's just a lot of stuff
1:59:32
where I'm like, what the fuck is this supposed to mean?
1:59:33
Like the whole idea of the uh, the whole idea
1:59:36
of like the snake doesn't really go anywhere the mom
1:59:39
felt The mom felt useless unless the mom had always
1:59:44
been just a part of.
1:59:46
Speaker 1: The voodoo ritual experience. Look, the bus didn't make sense
1:59:51
also the energy people. I thought that was just I
1:59:55
guess it is supposed to be the dude. It's supposed
1:59:59
to it's supposed to be the old man, I'm pretty sure.
2:00:01
And then he was able to get out of there
2:00:03
while they were doing the spell or something. But this
2:00:05
whole idea of like she's listening to Michael Jackson for
2:00:08
like a day and a half. Uh, it's just all really,
2:00:13
I just what the what the fuck was?
2:00:15
Speaker 2: I don't know. I feel lost.
2:00:17
Speaker 1: I'm very curious to see what the general audience thinks,
2:00:22
but I don't know.
2:00:24
Speaker 2: I don't know, man, I don't know.
2:00:28
Speaker 1: And the Caprice Sun thing, like those little details where
2:00:30
it's like I can't tell if like these little details
2:00:33
where like it's taking elements of your memories or your
2:00:36
experience and trying to it's like fabricating people and ideas
2:00:41
just off of like things that it's.
2:00:43
Speaker 2: Monitored you, but like I don't know, I don't know.
2:00:48
Speaker 1: Also the dementia dude, it's just it seems like is
2:00:51
every person this is every person this child is interacting with,
2:00:54
is just this entity, this Tommy Taffy esque entity.
2:00:58
Speaker 2: I don't know.
2:01:00
Speaker 1: Oh, I feel like the beginning I got uh. At
2:01:05
the beginning, I was kind of bought in on how
2:01:06
silly and fun it was, and then it just kind
2:01:08
of kept getting And to say that it got weird
2:01:11
as a bad thing, I don't think that's the bad thing,
2:01:13
just like it just got nonsensical to the point.
2:01:15
Speaker 2: Where I don't know, it feels like a kid wrote
2:01:18
it or whatever. I don't know.
2:01:20
Speaker 1: I don't fucking know. This is usually the part where
2:01:22
Isaiah will say nice things and then I get to
2:01:25
kind of like, you know, be I get put into
2:01:28
a spot where I'm like, oh, I guess that's true.
2:01:30
You know, oh that's a fair point or something like that.
2:01:33
But now you just have fucking negative Nancy, and I'm
2:01:35
like that, what the fuck.
2:01:36
Speaker 2: Was that, dude? I mean, I'm like, I don't know,
2:01:41
I don't know.
2:01:42
Speaker 1: At least we got to have my mom talk about
2:01:44
what you would do if boys are trying to look
2:01:45
at her titties. That was kind of fun, so at
2:01:47
least we got that that's not it's not horrible, but
2:01:50
you know what, it's a story.
2:01:53
Speaker 6: You know.
2:01:54
Speaker 2: We had some nice fun laughs out of it.
2:01:55
Speaker 1: There were some fun spooky moments, but uh, you know,
2:01:59
it just falls to the very classic. It falls into
2:02:02
the classic category of I have a fun idea and
2:02:05
I have no way to execute this idea, so I'm
2:02:07
just gonna throw a bunch of random shit at the
2:02:09
end and it'll be wrapped up quickly because I'm bored
2:02:11
or I just don't want to do it anymore. So
2:02:13
there it is. Thank you, guys for hanging out and
2:02:16
jamming with me so long. I know this is kind
2:02:18
of a longer recording today, but this will be the
2:02:20
one that's up on the act on the YouTube channel.
2:02:24
But I just figured I would stream it here just
2:02:25
so I could have somebody to talk to you with
2:02:26
it or you know, have something.
2:02:29
Speaker 2: So thank you so much to my beautiful Patreon chat
2:02:32
for keeping me company here. And then also thank you
2:02:34
for to all the people who are.
2:02:35
Speaker 1: On Spotify and Apple podcasts and all that jazz and
2:02:37
give us a nice rating. It really does help us
2:02:39
out and I appreciate it. Until next time, guys, hopefully
2:02:42
Isaiah will be joining us again.
2:02:43
Speaker 2: Like I said, we need the dynamic duo. Until then,
2:02:46
stay creeped my mind. You thought it was the dog
2:03:36
licking your feet, but it was me.
