- 0:12Welcome, my beautiful listeners, to another moment of truth and
- 0:17heart. Thank you for being here with me
- 0:21today. I want to take you with me
- 0:24through a story that touched me deeply.
- 0:27A story of letting go, trusting myself, and allowing life to
- 0:33unfold with surprising grace. This is my 136 solo episodes
- 0:42since 2020, and I feel it holds an important message for anyone
- 0:50standing in front of a big transition.
- 0:55There are moments in life when we sense that something tender
- 1:01is shifting. A chapter closing, another one
- 1:06quietly opening. Selling my parents house, the
- 1:11place where I ran barefoot as a child, where laughter and pain
- 1:18and memories settled into the walls.
- 1:22This was one of those moments. Last week, I signed the
- 1:27contract. The house, 111 years old, is now
- 1:33officially sold after 11 months without a broker.
- 1:39Just through my own hands, my intuition and the quiet trust
- 1:46that it would all work out. But I don't share this to
- 1:52celebrate an achievement, I share it because it's revealed
- 1:57something to me about how life responds when we stop forcing
- 2:04and start trusting our inner knowing.
- 2:09Let me take you to the beginning, but only briefly,
- 2:13because it's not the complicated family details that matter, It's
- 2:19what we learn from them. After my parents had moved to
- 2:24the elderly home, my younger brother said he wanted the house
- 2:29for one of his sons. I felt something inside me,
- 2:34Titan, because I had always envisioned being the one to sell
- 2:39it, but I accepted it. Then things shifted again.
- 2:45When my mum passed away, my brother pushed me to make a
- 2:49quick decision about the distribution of the heritage.
- 2:55Years ago, I would have given in just to keep the peace.
- 3:00I was such a people pleaser. I wanted everyone to be happy.
- 3:05But this time something deeper in me whispered, Wait, let
- 3:12clarity come, don't rush. And so I stayed firm, not with
- 3:19anger, but with calm certainty. And in the end, he told me they
- 3:26no longer wanted the house. That was the moment I knew.
- 3:31This is the task that life has placed in my hands.
- 3:37When I told my father and brother that I didn't want to
- 3:42hire a broker, that I wanted to sell the house myself, they
- 3:47doubted me. They were nervous.
- 3:51They didn't believe I could do it.
- 3:53And honestly, years ago I might not have believed it either.
- 4:00But now I trusted my intuition more than their fear.
- 4:07The first interested family seemed perfect, but they
- 4:11withdrew when they reflected on the price.
- 4:16Instead of feeling discouraged, I felt at peace.
- 4:21I had learned not to collapse when something slips away.
- 4:26I had learned to let life reorganize itself.
- 4:32Then came the second family. The husband and architect saw
- 4:38beauty where others saw age. His eyes lit up when he walked
- 4:44through the house, and soon he, his wife and the second couple
- 4:50joined together, dreaming about their future homes, sketching
- 4:56possibilities, imagining a shared life inside these old
- 5:01walls. And here, something important
- 5:05happened, something I believe you can take to heart.
- 5:12There was one woman in this group who naturally became the
- 5:16bridge between all of us. She had this grounded clarity, a
- 5:22calm warmth, and she carried conversations with so much
- 5:28respect. She and I would talk about
- 5:32everything, the questions, the uncertainties, the technical
- 5:37details, even the emotional moments.
- 5:40She then brought everything back to her husband and to the other
- 5:45couple and I on my side, spoke with my father and brother,
- 5:50explained things, reassured them, created transparency.
- 5:57It became a gentle rhythm across 2 worlds, them planning their
- 6:03future and us learning to let go of the past.
- 6:09And what I want you to see in this is how much power lies in
- 6:15honest, steady communication. When two sides decide to
- 6:21approach each each other with openness instead of ego, things
- 6:27move forward with so much more ease.
- 6:31You don't need to push, you don't need to dominate.
- 6:36You just need to stay centred, clear and kind.
- 6:41In those months, of course, there were moments of
- 6:45uncertainty, technical questions about the structure of the
- 6:50house, discussions about the price, fears from my family
- 6:56varies from the buyers. And in those moments, I reminded
- 7:01myself of the inner work I've been doing for so many years.
- 7:07I reminded myself who I had become.
- 7:12I didn't lose my temper. I didn't collapse into old
- 7:16patterns. I stayed grounded and allowed
- 7:21life to flow. And I want to share something
- 7:26that might help you in your own life.
- 7:29When you go through a big transition, selling a house,
- 7:34changing a job, ending a relationship, stepping into
- 7:39something new, you will always have moments of doubt.
- 7:44It's natural. But the key is not to let the
- 7:48doubt become your decision maker.
- 7:52The key is to feel it and then return to your centre, return to
- 7:59the part of you that already knows.
- 8:03Because clarity doesn't scream, it whispers.
- 8:08And then last week, I signed the contract.
- 8:13My father, still recovering from an eye operation, had given me
- 8:19permission to act for him. He even had a little emotional
- 8:25outburst before, something that years ago would have shaken me
- 8:31deeply, but this time I saw the fear behind it.
- 8:37The house he bought 55 years ago.
- 8:40Letting it go wasn't easy for him.
- 8:45I understood him. I didn't take it personally.
- 8:49I held the situation with softness.
- 8:54I'm standing there signing the documents, surrounded by four
- 8:59people who were excited and grateful.
- 9:03I felt something so right, so aligned, because I had seen this
- 9:09moment months before, maybe even years before.
- 9:15And what moved me most was not that the sale happened, but that
- 9:21it happened the way I had envisioned it, with lightness,
- 9:27with dignity, with joy. And I had also allowed myself to
- 9:34ask for a price that honoured the home.
- 9:38That was a big lesson, to not make myself small, to trust the
- 9:45value of something, to trust my own value.
- 9:50This whole process showed me the woman I have become through
- 9:56coaching, through inner work, through choosing not to be
- 10:00driven by old wounds or fears. I could not have done this
- 10:07decades ago. I would have apologized for
- 10:11everything, doubted myself, tried to please everyone.
- 10:16But now I stood in my truth. Calm, open, strong.
- 10:23And if there is one thing I want you to carry with you, it is
- 10:29this. Your life expands when you
- 10:33expand your courage. You don't grow by forcing.
- 10:39You grow by trusting. You grow by choosing it again
- 10:45and again. To act from your heart even when
- 10:49others doubt you. And one day, when you stand in
- 10:54front of your own big moment, you will feel how every step of
- 11:00inner work has built a steadiness inside you, a
- 11:05steadiness that no one can take away.
- 11:10So here is the message I want to leave you with.
- 11:14Your inner work always pays off. Not always in obvious ways, but
- 11:22in the quiet moments. May you choose clarity over
- 11:26pressure, calmness over chaos, and trust over fear.
- 11:33Life tends to meet you where you stand, so stand in a place that
- 11:40honors who you truly are. Thank you from the bottom of my
- 11:47heart for listening to this story and sharing this moment
