- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and cam
- 0:06Speaker 1: Rid Judge.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas and
- 0:15Speaker 2: a Pod, but today it is just one tea and
- 0:18Speaker 2: we have a very special guest, Jessel Tank from the
- 0:22Speaker 2: Real Housewives of New York. Jessel is a fashion publicist
- 0:26Speaker 2: who has worked for her Conde Nass International, Stella McCartney, Selene,
- 0:29Speaker 2: Victoria Beckham, Michael Cors and Westfield. She currently runs a
- 0:33Speaker 2: boutique agency called The No that specializes in consulting to
- 0:37Speaker 2: newly formed brands. She is also busy launching her own
- 0:41Speaker 2: e commerce platform that aims to make Southeast Asian fashion
- 0:46Speaker 2: more accessible. She also has a big voice on New York.
- 0:50Speaker 2: We have a lot of questions for her, so I
- 0:52Speaker 2: am so excited to bring her in. Make sure that
- 0:56Speaker 2: you follow her on Instagram and that you're watching The
- 0:58Speaker 2: Real Housewives of New York because you don't want to
- 1:01Speaker 2: miss anything that's going on there. Oh oh, hair, you
- 1:05Speaker 2: look hot.
- 1:07Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I like that hair length. I think the hair length
- 1:10Speaker 2: it's like fresh and youthful and sexy. I'm into it.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I need it. Do you know when you watch
- 1:17Speaker 1: yourself on camera on TV and you're just like, fuck,
- 1:21Speaker 1: I look like such a dump. Like I like, my
- 1:23Speaker 1: hair was long, didn't have layers. It was like just lackluster.
- 1:27Speaker 1: And I literally just went to my hairstyle sound was like,
- 1:29Speaker 1: do what you gotta do? Just chop it all off.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Yeah, That's why I felt about my upper lip my
- 1:33Speaker 2: first season. I was like, what am I doing here?
- 1:38Speaker 1: But it's so crazy that you can't fix it because
- 1:40Speaker 1: it's like camera right. So like even for me, I'm like,
- 1:44Speaker 1: oh my god, Like what do way people get facial
- 1:46Speaker 1: work done? Have to watch themselves on like TV for
- 1:48Speaker 1: four months straight, Like there's definite things you can improve.
- 1:52Speaker 2: And it's easy. I'm like, Okay, there's this little thing
- 1:54Speaker 2: called boattoks. You get a lip flip and all of
- 1:57Speaker 2: a sudden, not so much of my gum is showing.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know, the Bravo fans are gonna notice
- 2:03Speaker 1: every little thing, and it is so insane. I don't
- 2:07Speaker 1: think anyone has paid so much attention to me, like
- 2:10Speaker 1: since I mean not even my husband to be fair,
- 2:13Speaker 1: so kind of it's crazy.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I know everyone notices every little detail. Every Yeah, I
- 2:21Speaker 2: have a lot of questions. It's just me today because
- 2:23Speaker 2: Tamar is filming the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion today.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Oh God, bless her.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Do you want to Orange County?
- 2:32Speaker 1: I don't. I don't, but I love Tamra. We've been talking,
- 2:36Speaker 1: we've been dming. She's been amazing.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Okay, good, I know she loves you. We you know,
- 2:42Speaker 2: we always say everybody's only as good as last week's episode.
- 2:45Speaker 2: So we're like, some weeks we're like, we're loving jess
- 2:47Speaker 2: On some weeks we're like, no, why why did you?
- 2:53Speaker 1: I know it's about But listen, I think I think
- 2:56Speaker 1: I had my like I have my down like I started,
- 2:59Speaker 1: look you know what I mean, Like I think I started.
- 3:03Speaker 1: It was a rocky start for me. But hopefully people
- 3:06Speaker 1: are starting to see, like, I'm not that serious and funny. Like,
- 3:09Speaker 1: you know, it's not that it's not that serious people.
- 3:12Speaker 2: It's not that serious. I agree. So of course, there's
- 3:15Speaker 2: one question that every single fan wants to know the
- 3:18Speaker 2: answer to. But I'm gonna wait. You're gonna have to
- 3:20Speaker 2: listen to the majority of the podcast guys before I
- 3:23Speaker 2: even ask it. But I'll start out with I'll give
- 3:27Speaker 2: you some softballs to start. How's that all right?
- 3:29Speaker 1: Let's start easy. How let's start easy.
- 3:32Speaker 2: How did you get asked to be on the Real
- 3:34Speaker 2: Housewives of New York And did you watch any past
- 3:36Speaker 2: seasons prior to starting?
- 3:38Speaker 1: So, being British, it's not really a thing there, and
- 3:42Speaker 1: I note that a lot of people are so I mean,
- 3:45Speaker 1: they are so in completely enamoraged with the show. I
- 3:49Speaker 1: wasn't like that, but I did watch Rony just because
- 3:52Speaker 1: I lived in New York and so for me it
- 3:55Speaker 1: was it felt like, you know, you're you're seeing the city,
- 3:58Speaker 1: You're seeing the women living in the city. It felt
- 4:00Speaker 1: like I could connect. So I was an early Roney fan.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Bethany was my girl back then, but I was a
- 4:07Speaker 1: fan of Ronie. But look at the end of the day,
- 4:09Speaker 1: it's a show about six women living on the Upper
- 4:12Speaker 1: East Side. Like it was a very, I guess, small
- 4:16Speaker 1: microcosm into what the city actually it has to offer.
- 4:20Speaker 1: And so when Bravo We're going to reboot, I was
- 4:23Speaker 1: very interested off the bat because New York is a multicultural, multifaceted, diverse,
- 4:28Speaker 1: you know, it's a melting pot of people, and for
- 4:31Speaker 1: them to want to showcase different types of women from
- 4:34Speaker 1: different walks the life was very exciting for me, and
- 4:37Speaker 1: they were looking for an organic group of friends, which
- 4:39Speaker 1: you know we are and they have it.
- 4:42Speaker 2: And leading on to the show, who were you closest with?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Because I feel like we missed some stuff because when
- 4:48Speaker 2: I interviewed Aaron, I hadn't been able to watch the
- 4:51Speaker 2: show yet, so I didn't really have any backstory. It
- 4:54Speaker 2: feels like we're starting like a couple of weeks into filming.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Like the first episode, I'm like, all right, there's ship
- 5:00Speaker 2: we've missed. We know there's a girl that's no longer on.
- 5:03Speaker 2: So how long did you guys actually film before we're
- 5:07Speaker 2: seeing what we actually are seeing?
- 5:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it wasn't that long. I think it is exactly right.
- 5:13Speaker 1: It was about two weeks.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Two weeks. But who did you come on close? This with?
- 5:20Speaker 1: Uber and I share a common best friend. He's actually
- 5:23Speaker 1: someone that I've known. He's one of the very first
- 5:25Speaker 1: people I met in New York. His name's Justin. He's
- 5:29Speaker 1: he's in the entertainment world and the film producing production world.
- 5:33Speaker 1: So Uber and I have him in common, and so
- 5:36Speaker 1: he's kind of the missing link between us. She's someone
- 5:38Speaker 1: that I connected with off the bat, just we have
- 5:40Speaker 1: so much in common. She's also just my favorite person
- 5:44Speaker 1: to be around.
- 5:45Speaker 2: She seems so fun.
- 5:47Speaker 1: He's the best. She's the person that you want to
- 5:49Speaker 1: do everything with, Like she's so easygoing and positive, right,
- 5:54Speaker 1: Like you want that that type of energy around you.
- 5:57Speaker 1: But you know, again, being in fashion, it's a very
- 6:00Speaker 1: small industry, you sort of know each other. Jenna and
- 6:04Speaker 1: I knew of each other sign I have rubbed shoulders
- 6:07Speaker 1: of course a million times. Brian and I share her
- 6:09Speaker 1: common best friends, and really the only person I didn't
- 6:11Speaker 1: know that well was Aaron Okay was born into the
- 6:15Speaker 1: fold with the girl that is no longer. So it was, yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 1: I think it was you know, for us that we're
- 6:24Speaker 1: already in the fashion industry and we're very much like
- 6:27Speaker 1: it was like one degree of separation.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I would say, that makes sense. And then there are
- 6:31Speaker 2: rumors that you left Texas and moved to New York
- 6:35Speaker 2: City specifically for the show. Is there any truth to that?
- 6:39Speaker 1: No, it's so funny. I keep bringing this up. But
- 6:42Speaker 1: when that rumor came out, I think the Sun like
- 6:45Speaker 1: did an article and it was like Donald Trump's like
- 6:48Speaker 1: mugshot on one side and then my face on the other.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I was like how is it the headliner news? Like
- 6:53Speaker 1: this is so crazy? People? Look, did I live in
- 6:56Speaker 1: New York City my entire time that I moved? My
- 7:01Speaker 1: husband's from LA. We got married in twenty fourteen, and
- 7:03Speaker 1: we moved back to LA. Because when you get married,
- 7:06Speaker 1: you're like, shit, I have to buy a house. I
- 7:08Speaker 1: have to like invest in like a future. And so
- 7:11Speaker 1: we thought California was going to be that place for
- 7:14Speaker 1: us when I had the twins. The twins were actually
- 7:17Speaker 1: born in LA. When I had them, all I wanted
- 7:21Speaker 1: was my mom. It's like, I need their family, I
- 7:24Speaker 1: need I need support, I need a support system. And
- 7:27Speaker 1: so we had very much been talking about coming back
- 7:30Speaker 1: to New York, just because it would be a really
- 7:32Speaker 1: good middle ground from London and then from LA as well.
- 7:37Speaker 2: In the how but hold on to really get it
- 7:39Speaker 2: down to it, how long before filming were you back
- 7:42Speaker 2: in New York.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Oh, I was talking to a realtor in January of
- 7:46Speaker 1: last year, but we had actually moved to New York
- 7:50Speaker 1: last summer. I was talking to producers, but nothing was solid.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I mean I think it was. I was asked to
- 7:58Speaker 1: be on the show late summer. I think it was
- 8:01Speaker 1: like August time and I was already here. I mean,
- 8:05Speaker 1: you can't just uproot your entire family, find a place
- 8:09Speaker 1: in New York, get everything set up and start filming
- 8:11Speaker 1: for a show, right, and so like it's just it's
- 8:15Speaker 1: not realistic. People. I would love for that to like
- 8:18Speaker 1: my magic wand and just like whip it up, But
- 8:20Speaker 1: it didn't work like that. Like we were in New
- 8:22Speaker 1: York a good I would say, three four months.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yeah, so but you were living in New York prior
- 8:28Speaker 2: to that too, so you actually have had some roots
- 8:32Speaker 2: in New York prior very much.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I mean, my all my close friends are here. I
- 8:36Speaker 1: met my husband here, I started my career here, and
- 8:40Speaker 1: you know, it's it's also New York is a place
- 8:42Speaker 1: where like you never really leave, you know, and being
- 8:45Speaker 1: in a fashion world, even though I was living in
- 8:48Speaker 1: LA I would come back to New York at least
- 8:50Speaker 1: once a month, at least twice a month for work purposes.
- 8:53Speaker 1: So I had to call myself by coastal And you know,
- 8:57Speaker 1: we never really, we never really truly leave. I mean
- 9:01Speaker 1: we're here for almost a decade.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you said that you did used to
- 9:07Speaker 2: watch Ronie. A lot of bands are comparing you to
- 9:11Speaker 2: Ramona saying, you both say things you are unaware of
- 9:13Speaker 2: how they come across. Who do you agree and if not,
- 9:17Speaker 2: who do you compare yourself most to.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Ah, that's I mean, that was interesting to me. I've
- 9:23Speaker 1: bot have been called the villain on the show, which
- 9:25Speaker 1: is kind of crazy because I'm the sweet little Indian
- 9:28Speaker 1: girl and now I'm being like villainized. But I do
- 9:33Speaker 1: say what's on my mind. I think my delivery and
- 9:35Speaker 1: my tone a lot of it comes from the fact
- 9:37Speaker 1: that I am British. I have a very dry sense
- 9:39Speaker 1: of humor.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I've heard that one before.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Come on, It's true. And I gotta tell you, when
- 9:49Speaker 1: I first moved here it was a strung I mean
- 9:52Speaker 1: I moved here in two thousand and six. It was
- 9:54Speaker 1: kind of a struggle. People don't really get my sense
- 9:57Speaker 1: of humor off the back, you know. So I felt
- 10:00Speaker 1: like I was going back to that moment on the
- 10:03Speaker 1: show where you sort of have to people have to
- 10:05Speaker 1: get to know you a little bit more to really
- 10:08Speaker 1: get a grip of who you are and how you act.
- 10:11Speaker 1: And even with the way I talked to my husband,
- 10:13Speaker 1: everyone's like, oh my gosh, such a bitch to him.
- 10:15Speaker 1: But like we've been I mean we've been Mareth for
- 10:17Speaker 1: ten years and we have a very real relationship. It's
- 10:20Speaker 1: not like I sit on his lap and make out
- 10:22Speaker 1: every five minutes. It's not real shit, you.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Know, yeah, that's it's not reality, and you actually are
- 10:26Speaker 2: sharing it. Which will get a little bit more into
- 10:28Speaker 2: that in a second. But what would you say the
- 10:32Speaker 2: biggest surprise to you once you started filming or watching
- 10:37Speaker 2: this back has been other than being the villain, which
- 10:39Speaker 2: I've I've been the villain as well. I've also been
- 10:42Speaker 2: like this sweetheart, Like every year is something different, So
- 10:46Speaker 2: you have no idea, like we all have eighty two personalities.
- 10:49Speaker 2: It's called, you know, being a mom.
- 10:52Speaker 1: And wearing a number of hat I know you're wearing
- 10:55Speaker 1: so many hats. What was the most surprising thing to
- 10:59Speaker 1: me watching it back? I think it for me it
- 11:02Speaker 1: was people are so quick to jump to a conclusion.
- 11:08Speaker 1: I think it was like episode one had aired and
- 11:10Speaker 1: all of a sudden, they had made up their minds
- 11:13Speaker 1: on who you are right after watching Like maybe it
- 11:17Speaker 1: was like twenty minutes of me on the on the
- 11:19Speaker 1: show and they had literally created this entire narrative for me.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I'm getting a divorced. I'm I'm route to my mother.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I have no manners. I mean, it was a whole thing.
- 11:30Speaker 1: They almost created this like avatar of who Jessel is
- 11:34Speaker 1: and that which is very I think I thought I
- 11:36Speaker 1: had more faith in people. I thought they would like
- 11:39Speaker 1: give me the benefit of the doubt, like not to
- 11:42Speaker 1: just make such snap judgments off the.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Bat, you know, right, would you say that your tagline
- 12:00Speaker 2: season is is true to what you are? I think
- 12:04Speaker 2: it's I always bring the flavor. It's not my fault.
- 12:07Speaker 2: You don't have any taste. What were some of your
- 12:10Speaker 2: other options? And do you still stand by the tagline?
- 12:12Speaker 2: I've had some of the worst, by the way, Oh my.
- 12:15Speaker 1: God, Well it's funny. I just spoke about this. I
- 12:19Speaker 1: wanted something that I mean, fat well, it's it's how
- 12:22Speaker 1: do you pick a sentence that basically describes like you like,
- 12:26Speaker 1: it's so hot for that right? And so I struggled,
- 12:31Speaker 1: and I actually was talking a good friend of mine.
- 12:33Speaker 1: He's a writer for Condeas Traveler and for Wall Street Journal.
- 12:37Speaker 1: He's also a huge real house I spent and I
- 12:39Speaker 1: was like, look, I don't want to use the word
- 12:41Speaker 1: spice because that's so cliche. I'm Indian like Dah, and
- 12:45Speaker 1: so I want to like have something that's you know, fun,
- 12:49Speaker 1: that's a nod to fashion, that's a nod to my
- 12:51Speaker 1: background and my culture, but not be so obvious. And
- 12:55Speaker 1: so we worked together and we ended up with that,
- 12:57Speaker 1: and I think it's perfect because you know, I do
- 13:00Speaker 1: bring the flavor. I'm very I think I'm very animated,
- 13:04Speaker 1: and I bring a lot to the show and a
- 13:07Speaker 1: lot of people don't have the taste because they can't
- 13:09Speaker 1: get with the programs.
- 13:10Speaker 2: They can't they can't figure it out.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Not figure it out. Yeah, exactly.
- 13:15Speaker 2: And you can't say Uba because we already know she
- 13:17Speaker 2: kind of gets along with everybody. But who would you
- 13:19Speaker 2: say now once you're like finished your first season that
- 13:23Speaker 2: you're closest with other than Uba, And then is there
- 13:27Speaker 2: anyone you're not currently talking to?
- 13:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I've always been very close to Jenna,
- 13:34Speaker 1: you know, Lingerie gate Aside. We have always just she's
- 13:40Speaker 1: someone that I really respect, first of all, and she's
- 13:43Speaker 1: also someone that I would like got check things with,
- 13:46Speaker 1: Like if I think something, you know, if I'm about
- 13:48Speaker 1: to make a big move or I'm about to do
- 13:50Speaker 1: something or say something, I'll call Jenna, and she'll give
- 13:53Speaker 1: me the advice and it's perfect, I would say, like
- 13:56Speaker 1: undercent of the time.
- 13:57Speaker 2: But do you feel like she's trying to produce you
- 13:59Speaker 2: to say what she wants you to say, so she
- 14:02Speaker 2: doesn't do the dirty work?
- 14:04Speaker 1: Good point, No, I don't think I think Jenna. I
- 14:07Speaker 1: think Jenna outside the show is Jenna, Like she really
- 14:10Speaker 1: truly is herself, and she gives really good advice and
- 14:13Speaker 1: she has a very good radar on things and people,
- 14:17Speaker 1: and so she's someone that I really do confide in.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I think the other person is Sigh, and that's someone
- 14:24Speaker 1: that you know, it took me a while to warm
- 14:26Speaker 1: up to Sigh. I think she she has a very
- 14:29Speaker 1: hard exterior, but I respect her a lot and we share,
- 14:33Speaker 1: you know, our lot for fashion. And she's a mother.
- 14:35Speaker 1: She also has a son call Leo, so we have
- 14:37Speaker 1: a lot of common in that respect.
- 14:40Speaker 2: And then anyone you're not talking to, there's.
- 14:43Speaker 1: No one that I'm not talking to. I mean, there's
- 14:46Speaker 1: definitely people that you know, I'm not as close to
- 14:50Speaker 1: like you. I mean, do you know what though, I
- 14:55Speaker 1: would have said Aaron, but that's not true. I think
- 14:57Speaker 1: that Aaron and I we had some grow pains. But
- 15:01Speaker 1: I think that we're good, Like I'm good with everyone.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I really am Switzerland are her with Tori Beka? So okay, No,
- 15:11Speaker 1: but I know it came across that way. I was,
- 15:14Speaker 1: I know exactly what Tribeca is. I was walking to
- 15:16Speaker 1: that coffee and in that moment I noticed like three
- 15:20Speaker 1: or four new restaurants that I'd never seen before. I
- 15:22Speaker 1: was like, oh, this is crazy. There's so many new
- 15:24Speaker 1: things popping up. And in my head, up and coming
- 15:27Speaker 1: wasn't the right term, first of all, but in my
- 15:29Speaker 1: head it was like, oh, there's so many new places.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Tribecca in itself is not somewhere that you go to socialize.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I think you have a nice dinner there. There's some
- 15:38Speaker 1: great restaurants. Is it the place where you go like
- 15:41Speaker 1: and you make plans and you go with your girlfriends
- 15:43Speaker 1: to have like a crazy night.
- 15:44Speaker 2: No, it's very It's a place you live, and it's
- 15:47Speaker 2: they have beautiful rights. It's beauty hearts and condos, but
- 15:50Speaker 2: not you know. Okay, so that was your point. It wasn't.
- 15:54Speaker 2: It's not like the hot, fun place to go.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It's yes, all.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Right, yeah that makes sense that up, Well, I don't
- 16:05Speaker 2: know where the Rainbow Room premiere party was. But I
- 16:08Speaker 2: did hear that you may have thrown up. Were you
- 16:11Speaker 2: sick or were you wasted? What's the deal?
- 16:15Speaker 1: I wish I was wasted. I swear to god, this
- 16:18Speaker 1: was Can you imagine? Like that was my foray. That
- 16:23Speaker 1: was the premiere, that was like the kickoff to the season.
- 16:27Speaker 1: And I had just flown in from Greece the day
- 16:30Speaker 1: before I flew in, I flew back. I left my
- 16:33Speaker 1: family in Greece and I flew back for the premiere
- 16:35Speaker 1: and I was feeling fine all day. I was halfway
- 16:39Speaker 1: down the red carpet and I started of feel like
- 16:41Speaker 1: dizzy and nauseous. So I took you know, I took
- 16:44Speaker 1: a seat, had some water, hadn't drank not even a
- 16:48Speaker 1: drip of anything at this point, and all of a sudden,
- 16:51Speaker 1: it was just downhill from there, and I I was
- 16:55Speaker 1: I was about to go home. And NBC's team was like,
- 16:59Speaker 1: listen and just gonna announce you guys. Can you do
- 17:02Speaker 1: you feel like you'll you'll be able to take a picture?
- 17:05Speaker 1: Do you think you'll be able to do it? And
- 17:06Speaker 1: I was so I just thought, you know that feeling
- 17:08Speaker 1: where you're just you just want to throw up, like
- 17:11Speaker 1: it was that wave of nausea just came. It was
- 17:13Speaker 1: like coming like this. So I said, yes, I did
- 17:17Speaker 1: the picture. I had security escored me. They were literally
- 17:21Speaker 1: like I was like, I gotta go. They were scorting
- 17:23Speaker 1: me out. So it looked like, Okay, this girl's like unruly,
- 17:27Speaker 1: she's taken something, she's drunk. I get it. I took
- 17:30Speaker 1: one step out outside of the rim and I just yeah,
- 17:35Speaker 1: I just couldn't hold it in. It was so bad.
- 17:38Speaker 2: It could be worse. You could have been like the
- 17:40Speaker 2: diarrhea person on the plane from like going a loanable.
- 17:45Speaker 1: What the hell was that delta?
- 17:47Speaker 2: Get that was kind of great? So I did, Like
- 17:50Speaker 2: I heard the audio now and they're like then they
- 17:53Speaker 2: screamed vanilla blah blah blah, and they wanted Then they
- 17:56Speaker 2: land and had to rip out the carpets. I'm frightened
- 17:59Speaker 2: for the day they were leave. Who this poor person
- 18:01Speaker 2: is that like couldn't keep it together, Like my heart
- 18:04Speaker 2: is broken for that person, because you know what, when
- 18:07Speaker 2: you gotta go, like I don't know what I would do,
- 18:10Speaker 2: Like you try to hold your butt, like what.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Are you gonna do that butt plug? Yeah, I don't.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I don't know, but like, but can you imagine, like, okay,
- 18:19Speaker 1: that poor person is on a plane. I mean, yeah,
- 18:22Speaker 1: that that was not ideal, but there was so there
- 18:25Speaker 1: was like half of New York Press was at that premiere.
- 18:28Speaker 1: So then I come home, my husband tells me he's
- 18:31Speaker 1: still in Greece. He tells me, hey, listen, I didn't
- 18:34Speaker 1: want to worry you, but the kids are sick. I'm sick.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Your mom is sick, like everyone was had it was
- 18:39Speaker 1: like a bug. I was like, you a whole Why
- 18:42Speaker 1: would you tell me? I went to the premiere and
- 18:43Speaker 1: I threw up and he was like, dude, I'm so sorry.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It was serious. He's like we have been to yeah exactly.
- 18:52Speaker 1: And then the Sun of course, like the Sun is
- 18:54Speaker 1: just not my friend right now. It was like page
- 18:56Speaker 1: six of the Sun. They announced it and it was
- 19:00Speaker 1: just but you know what was funny about that? And
- 19:02Speaker 1: I talked about this a lot. I thought it was
- 19:05Speaker 1: going to be my demise. I was like, this is
- 19:08Speaker 1: is it? This? I'm ruined comment To the contrary, we
- 19:12Speaker 1: were like iconic Ronnie's back, like it was loved. What
- 19:18Speaker 1: is happening?
- 19:20Speaker 2: People love to watch other people's pain hot mess. Yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 2: they a hot mess, like a train wrack, any kind
- 19:27Speaker 2: of situation. Anytime you think it's going to be bad,
- 19:30Speaker 2: it's going to be your best thing. But something that
- 19:35Speaker 2: I've also seen a lot about online is you and
- 19:39Speaker 2: your cast have been very open about struggles in childhoods,
- 19:43Speaker 2: and you specifically spoke about being an immigrant who had
- 19:46Speaker 2: to work your way up in the US. But then
- 19:49Speaker 2: all these people online accused you of attending an elite
- 19:52Speaker 2: private school in London. Is this true?
- 19:56Speaker 1: No? And you know what's funny about that is that
- 19:59Speaker 1: episode air and somehow miraculously the next day someone made
- 20:05Speaker 1: a fake website and basically connected me to the school
- 20:10Speaker 1: that I've never heard of. It's SIMT. Paul's in Hammersmith,
- 20:13Speaker 1: which is a very elite school. I think the fees
- 20:17Speaker 1: are like forty thousand a year, which, by the way,
- 20:19Speaker 1: is like my entire family's like household income at the time.
- 20:22Speaker 1: So and someone posted on Twitter. I was a writer,
- 20:26Speaker 1: and I messaged him and I said, like, this is
- 20:28Speaker 1: not true, And I was like, I have pictures of
- 20:30Speaker 1: where I went to school. I went to public school.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Like I'm not going to make that. Shut up because
- 20:36Speaker 1: it's everybody the Internet is a wealth of information, and
- 20:40Speaker 1: I think being on a reality TV show, you cannot
- 20:44Speaker 1: say something. If it's a complete opposite of what you're saying,
- 20:47Speaker 1: people are going to find out.
- 20:49Speaker 2: No, there's no escaping it.
- 20:51Speaker 1: There's no escaping it. And I was mortified because I
- 20:54Speaker 1: was like, shit, well I just said this, and now
- 20:56Speaker 1: this is like it's so it's so far from the truth.
- 20:59Speaker 2: And then you feel like if you double down and
- 21:01Speaker 2: you comment on it, then people are gonna be like,
- 21:03Speaker 2: now she's defensive, Like she's defensive.
- 21:06Speaker 1: And now she's you know, she's she's lying, and she's
- 21:09Speaker 1: she she did grow up, you know, in a certain way,
- 21:12Speaker 1: And yeah I didn't. I mean, listen at I wish
- 21:16Speaker 1: I had the means to go to an amazing elite
- 21:18Speaker 1: for private school, like, but I didn't. My parents came
- 21:22Speaker 1: from Africa to England. They started from scratch. We didn't
- 21:25Speaker 1: have the means to do that. And I would That's
- 21:28Speaker 1: not something I would lie about because that's effed up.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that would. We would be if you were lying
- 21:35Speaker 2: about it, we'd be having a totally different conversation right now.
- 21:37Speaker 2: But instead, I'm going to talk to you about something
- 21:40Speaker 2: that when you were speaking about your IVF stuff. It
- 21:44Speaker 2: really hit home to me. And I've shared this on
- 21:46Speaker 2: the pod before because I also had the same, you know,
- 21:51Speaker 2: type of type of issues. I had multiple miscarriages, went
- 21:54Speaker 2: through IVF, and I know how trying it can be,
- 21:58Speaker 2: and I can't even image and like having any keep
- 22:01Speaker 2: that from my family. Even on my last round of IVF,
- 22:05Speaker 2: I remember my dad and my husband looking at me
- 22:07Speaker 2: and saying this, you cannot do this again. If this,
- 22:10Speaker 2: if it doesn't take, You're done.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Yeah, how many you to mind me asking?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Honestly, like it sounds crazy, but I almost like blacked
- 22:19Speaker 2: it out. But there was like six or seven rounds.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I think I had a couple of miscarriages, a couple
- 22:25Speaker 2: that didn't take it all, and then my last round
- 22:28Speaker 2: of IVF, I just didn't you know how Like after
- 22:31Speaker 2: a couple of days, I have you come in and
- 22:32Speaker 2: check your numbers, I was like, it's Christmas. I'm not
- 22:36Speaker 2: going to go check my numbers, like put put them
- 22:40Speaker 2: in and then I'm going to go enjoy the holidays.
- 22:42Speaker 2: I'm gonna assume I'm not pregnant, and then I'm just
- 22:45Speaker 2: going to live my life and not be a stress case.
- 22:48Speaker 2: And just see what happens. And I came home and
- 22:51Speaker 2: checked my numbers two weeks after I was supposed to
- 22:53Speaker 2: and they were like, he's thriving, and I was like,
- 22:56Speaker 2: thank you God. So I mean it is a lot,
- 23:00Speaker 2: So I know going through that. So it's it's kind
- 23:02Speaker 2: of a tie in question for me because I know
- 23:04Speaker 2: you shared already on the show, But when I was
- 23:07Speaker 2: going through that, I was really struggling, struggling sexually with
- 23:12Speaker 2: my husband and also post having my son because I
- 23:17Speaker 2: had so much fear and so did he around having
- 23:21Speaker 2: sex while I was pregnant because I was scared of
- 23:25Speaker 2: having a miscarriage, like really scared. And then I put
- 23:31Speaker 2: that on him leading up to even before the IVF process.
- 23:35Speaker 2: How formulaic you have to make sex to try to
- 23:38Speaker 2: get pregnant on the day of being ovulated, like all
- 23:41Speaker 2: of that. So I just want you to know, like
- 23:43Speaker 2: this is a common thing that women go through, and
- 23:46Speaker 2: it's not just about like people I see people in like,
- 23:48Speaker 2: well maybe she was more confident or this. No, like
- 23:51Speaker 2: it's a trauma.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Yeah no, And thank you for saying that, because I
- 23:58Speaker 1: wanted to share the real reality behind IVF, behind infertility,
- 24:04Speaker 1: behind postpartum struggles. Like it's real stuff that people really
- 24:09Speaker 1: we have to a normalize conversation and be like, God,
- 24:13Speaker 1: we have to be more sensitive to that stuff, Like
- 24:15Speaker 1: you can't just assume my husband's cheating on me or
- 24:18Speaker 1: things are going south in our relationship because of things
- 24:21Speaker 1: that we went through. And it was I don't know
- 24:23Speaker 1: how long your process was, mind and to end was
- 24:26Speaker 1: four years. That's a long time going through something. It
- 24:29Speaker 1: was a big part of my life, and it really
- 24:33Speaker 1: you change who you are as a person, right, Like
- 24:36Speaker 1: I wasn't the girl that was going out and having fun.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I was eating vegetables all day like because I thought
- 24:42Speaker 1: that would help me get pregnant, and sleeping at eight
- 24:45Speaker 1: pm and drinking tons of water and I cut out alcohol,
- 24:48Speaker 1: Like I became a completely different person.
- 24:52Speaker 2: And it was and then if you have any postpartum
- 24:54Speaker 2: like I had postpartum anxiety and like where I just
- 24:58Speaker 2: became obsessive about every thing and trying to control every
- 25:01Speaker 2: part of our life even after my son was born.
- 25:05Speaker 2: And then that added a whole nother level of stress.
- 25:07Speaker 2: I mean it took over a year for us to
- 25:09Speaker 2: get back on track.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you for saying that, and it's exactly what
- 25:15Speaker 1: happened to us. And you know, the twins were I
- 25:18Speaker 1: too write, so they were born premature. They were in
- 25:22Speaker 1: in the Qan intensive care. I slept on the floor
- 25:26Speaker 1: in the nursery from like the day we brought them
- 25:29Speaker 1: home to like six months in because you know, there's
- 25:32Speaker 1: like all this just stuff that you're worried about is
- 25:34Speaker 1: in new mom and I don't care. I don't care
- 25:38Speaker 1: what people think because at the end of the day,
- 25:41Speaker 1: I'm better for it. My husband was patient, he was
- 25:44Speaker 1: so supportive, and you know, we have an amazing, thriving family.
- 25:48Speaker 1: But I did bring it up, and I know people
- 25:50Speaker 1: are like, oh, shock, horror, Like you know, she's talking
- 25:54Speaker 1: about this stuff on National TV. It's real stuff that
- 25:58Speaker 1: we have to talk about as women.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Right and normal not normalize it and be able to say, like,
- 26:06Speaker 2: I'm not getting emotional hearing you when you said nick
- 26:08Speaker 2: you because my son was in the nick you too.
- 26:10Speaker 2: But when you're trying to find yourself post having a child,
- 26:18Speaker 2: the last thing you're thinking about is like being this
- 26:21Speaker 2: sexual icon to your significant other, Like you know, things
- 26:27Speaker 2: that you maybe were willing to do before you're just
- 26:30Speaker 2: not And then I remember going through a stage. So
- 26:33Speaker 2: if you guys are listening and this has ever happened
- 26:35Speaker 2: to you, I remember going through a stage where I
- 26:37Speaker 2: was like everything he did pissed me off because he
- 26:41Speaker 2: wasn't able to fix my concerns or my worries or
- 26:45Speaker 2: whatever it was, or anything he said about my clothes
- 26:47Speaker 2: or my body or any like. I just wasn't in
- 26:50Speaker 2: a place to hear it. And I think you have
- 26:54Speaker 2: to have those hard conversations. And now we've set up
- 26:57Speaker 2: like people joke, but I'm like, we've set up a
- 26:58Speaker 2: set schedule.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah, can I get on that? Like? What is? They
- 27:03Speaker 1: share it with me?
- 27:16Speaker 2: Okay? So the sex schedule is like we know our
- 27:19Speaker 2: prime times when to have sex. Star So like, I
- 27:21Speaker 2: don't are your kids in preschool yet?
- 27:23Speaker 1: It's starting next week? Yes?
- 27:25Speaker 2: Okay? So well, first off, have you guys had have
- 27:27Speaker 2: you have you gotten in yet?
- 27:30Speaker 1: Have we gotten into preschool?
- 27:32Speaker 2: No? Have you gotten it in?
- 27:34Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah? Oh yeah, I've two I've two years down
- 27:40Speaker 1: the line now. So it was you know, it's crazy
- 27:43Speaker 1: because also I think it was Aaron that was like
- 27:45Speaker 1: just that sex for two years. It was really only
- 27:48Speaker 1: a year because I mean, I well yeah, it was.
- 27:52Speaker 1: It was about a year postpartum that I was kind
- 27:54Speaker 1: of in this like funk. But yeah, watched the show. Guys,
- 27:58Speaker 1: we don't do it on TV, but like, you.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Know, it's still going to be a bathtub scene. I
- 28:03Speaker 2: really hope, because I love when housewives do bathtub scenes.
- 28:08Speaker 1: No, there is no bus. That's a little too expated.
- 28:11Speaker 1: But we we being on the show and talking about
- 28:15Speaker 1: this stuff actually lit like uh, you know, a fire
- 28:19Speaker 1: rounder my ass because I was like, hey, like we
- 28:22Speaker 1: got to get we got to get ourselves back on track.
- 28:25Speaker 1: And it's very easy to get comfortable and to like,
- 28:28Speaker 1: you know, right the wave of reading a book in
- 28:31Speaker 1: bed and pulling us. I mean it's very easy. It's
- 28:34Speaker 1: very comfortable. But I needed this to happen, you know,
- 28:38Speaker 1: you know.
- 28:38Speaker 2: And plus like even as you're watching in back, you're like, oh,
- 28:40Speaker 2: these are things I can do differently. I remember seeing
- 28:43Speaker 2: that too. But essentially the sex schedule is we know
- 28:46Speaker 2: once the kids go to school and before we like
- 28:48Speaker 2: start work, like after we've done our workout is like
- 28:50Speaker 2: our best time. So we have like we don't actually
- 28:53Speaker 2: have in the calendar, but like the morning of to
- 28:56Speaker 2: kind of get the other person in the mood we
- 28:58Speaker 2: write one like we say wiki because we when we
- 29:02Speaker 2: were so broke when we first started dating, the bed
- 29:04Speaker 2: would always go like I likecky, So we say wiki,
- 29:07Speaker 2: like at nine point thirty. And so then it's like
- 29:10Speaker 2: this like running joke as we're trying to get the
- 29:12Speaker 2: kids ready for school or head out to work or
- 29:14Speaker 2: whatever it may be, and that we know we're going
- 29:16Speaker 2: to meet, and then it's we kind of hold ourselves
- 29:18Speaker 2: accountable to doing it, and then it just becomes easy
- 29:21Speaker 2: and it's like effortless and it's like, Okay, we know
- 29:23Speaker 2: we're doing this, and then once you do it, you
- 29:25Speaker 2: always like it. But it's getting to do it right.
- 29:28Speaker 1: It got too active, like doing it because by the
- 29:31Speaker 1: end of the day, I mean, you're so tired and
- 29:33Speaker 1: you're like god damn, Like this is a lot. I
- 29:36Speaker 1: don't want to do bedroom acrobatics, you know right now?
- 29:39Speaker 2: Like yeah, And also like the hardest part, which guys, listen,
- 29:44Speaker 2: it's talking to your significant other about what you like
- 29:48Speaker 2: now because that changes also after you have kids, Like
- 29:51Speaker 2: there are certain things that I maybe liked before that
- 29:53Speaker 2: I didn't like, you know that I don't particularly love
- 29:56Speaker 2: now or vice versa, like it's just opening the dialogue.
- 29:59Speaker 2: So I appreciate you talking about it, But do you
- 30:02Speaker 2: think that How's Povett felt about watching the show back?
- 30:07Speaker 2: Because you guys do have that like bickering, you know.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I feel like he's he's got the same sense of
- 30:14Speaker 2: dry sense of humor that you do, which is why
- 30:16Speaker 2: you guys get each other. But I don't know that
- 30:19Speaker 2: necessarily people see it, even the Vietnam and going for
- 30:22Speaker 2: the sandwich and all that kind of stuff.
- 30:25Speaker 1: So's he's amazing. I true, Like when we when we
- 30:31Speaker 1: signed up to be on the show, I told him
- 30:33Speaker 1: you are going to be the breakout star. Like he's
- 30:36Speaker 1: so likable, he's so funny. People love his humor. And
- 30:40Speaker 1: by the way he's been ranking there's something called the
- 30:43Speaker 1: Real Housewives Power Ranking that a different Ira does. He's
- 30:47Speaker 1: been in the top three for the past three weeks.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I'm like, you're not even on the cost And that's
- 30:52Speaker 1: how That's how much like I knew people were going
- 30:56Speaker 1: to love him. He's really funny. He's the best partner
- 31:00Speaker 1: in all of this. He truly is. And he knew
- 31:03Speaker 1: how important it was for me to share, you know,
- 31:05Speaker 1: all the struggles we go through as women, and he
- 31:08Speaker 1: took a he took a backseat, and he can kind
- 31:10Speaker 1: of let me air out all that personal stuff on
- 31:13Speaker 1: national TV. But was so amazing about it.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Well that's great, And then where are you with thinking
- 31:19Speaker 2: if you want to go through the journey again?
- 31:22Speaker 1: You know, I mean, you know more than anything, it's
- 31:25Speaker 1: not easy. I can't get pregnant naturally, So I have
- 31:28Speaker 1: to go through the whole like shit again, you know,
- 31:31Speaker 1: it's it's going to be tough. I really want to
- 31:33Speaker 1: do it. I don't know if he's mentally there yet,
- 31:37Speaker 1: and I have to respect that, Like, I'm never going
- 31:39Speaker 1: to push it on him. I think he's he's completely traumatized.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Our twins are crazy, and so I'd like a person
- 31:48Speaker 1: into the mix. It's going to be in my push
- 31:50Speaker 1: him over the edge. But it's TBD. We haven't said
- 31:53Speaker 1: yes or we haven't said no yet. But it's a conversation.
- 31:55Speaker 2: It's a conversation. It's an open conversation, which then you
- 31:58Speaker 2: could you could also you know, I don't know, would
- 32:00Speaker 2: be like me. I really thought I could never get
- 32:02Speaker 2: pregnant naturally. I went through all this idea of all
- 32:04Speaker 2: this whatever, and then at age thirty nine, randomly got pregnant.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Uh didn't know I was pregnant till fifteen weeks, Like, yes,
- 32:14Speaker 2: I had no idea. Everybody on the cast at Beverly
- 32:17Speaker 2: Hills thought I had mold poisoning because I kept saying,
- 32:19Speaker 2: like I feel sick.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I never what the hell anyway?
- 32:25Speaker 2: So I was like, there's no way I'm pregnant, So
- 32:29Speaker 2: you never But like either way that I do, like
- 32:33Speaker 2: how much that you share and what But did you
- 32:37Speaker 2: get your way on the sixty thousand dollars of Montessori school?
- 32:42Speaker 1: I didn't. No, I lost that. I mean, He's always
- 32:46Speaker 1: been a win when it comes to like making sense,
- 32:48Speaker 1: you know. But what's funny about that. Another thing that
- 32:54Speaker 1: people like probably don't get about me is when I'm
- 32:57Speaker 1: making an argument, I go into the brain of it.
- 33:00Speaker 1: So when I brought up Tom Cruise, his favorite movie
- 33:03Speaker 1: is Top Gun, and I was like, oh, if I say,
- 33:06Speaker 1: why you brought up.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Like he didn't even see his daughter anymore?
- 33:11Speaker 1: I know, But I knew if I brought up the
- 33:13Speaker 1: fact that his favorite I mean his Tom Quise is
- 33:17Speaker 1: not his favorite actor, but that's his favorite movie. So
- 33:21Speaker 1: maybe if I make the connection he'll be like a
- 33:23Speaker 1: little bit more like open to it, and no, I
- 33:25Speaker 1: still lost it. I mean he's very practical. I still
- 33:28Speaker 1: lost it.
- 33:28Speaker 2: But you gave it a good shot. So we have
- 33:32Speaker 2: some rapid fire fan questions to ask you. Okay, who
- 33:39Speaker 2: has the most to answer to for at the reunion?
- 33:43Speaker 1: I think it's gonna have to be Erin.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Aaron. See, I think Aaron's like a shitster, but like I,
- 33:52Speaker 2: I kind of appreciate it, Like she keeps the story moving.
- 33:55Speaker 2: She repeats ship multiple times, like I feel like you
- 33:58Speaker 2: kind of need that. Yeah, true, it makes sense. Okay,
- 34:03Speaker 2: who from the cast has the best fashion?
- 34:07Speaker 1: I think it's a toss up between Si and Uber.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I think they have a very very cool individual style.
- 34:15Speaker 1: And I know the fan favorite is Jenna, but Jenna
- 34:19Speaker 1: just was dNaM all the time, like anyone can do that.
- 34:21Speaker 1: She looks amazing, She's always rocking. But I think in
- 34:24Speaker 1: terms of like actually tapping into like trends and stuff,
- 34:27Speaker 1: it's going to be Uberan inside.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Okay, So then now I hate to ask it, but
- 34:32Speaker 2: the worst fashion?
- 34:33Speaker 1: So I don't think anyone has the worst fashion. I
- 34:36Speaker 1: think that we all have our own individual styles. Some
- 34:39Speaker 1: styles resonate more than others to me. So I think
- 34:42Speaker 1: that like someone like a Genaine Errand, like you know,
- 34:45Speaker 1: they are very very like go next door and how
- 34:48Speaker 1: they dress.
- 34:49Speaker 2: So you're saying they're basic.
- 34:51Speaker 1: You said they were basic.
- 34:53Speaker 2: No, I'm basic.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I think that I think that they do with what
- 34:59Speaker 1: they dress, how they feel comfortable. I will wear sequence
- 35:02Speaker 1: that poke me in the off and I don't care
- 35:05Speaker 1: because I just want to look more and more.
- 35:07Speaker 2: So who was telling the truth and cheesegate?
- 35:13Speaker 1: Oh, I gotta tell you, I don't know. It was
- 35:19Speaker 1: such a cluster of like different viewpoints and so many
- 35:24Speaker 1: conversations happened, and I wasn't part of everything. But I
- 35:28Speaker 1: think it's gonna it's gonna be aired out at the reunion.
- 35:31Speaker 2: So yeah, all right, fine, Who would you let decorate
- 35:34Speaker 2: your home? Jenna or Aaron?
- 35:37Speaker 1: Jenna? I like Marble, that's why.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Okay, who would you let style you? Jenna or Cy?
- 35:45Speaker 1: Oh?
- 35:47Speaker 2: I would say, si, who has the best sense of humor?
- 35:50Speaker 2: And who has the worst?
- 35:53Speaker 1: Uba has the best sense of humor? I the best? Actually, friend.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Bren is good in her confessionals.
- 36:03Speaker 1: It is so good. It's a toss up between Uber
- 36:06Speaker 1: and Bran. I think the different types of humor. Uber
- 36:09Speaker 1: is very witty, but Brynn just her delivery is like
- 36:13Speaker 1: on point like she is. She is like Chris Rock funny.
- 36:16Speaker 1: She's so funny.
- 36:17Speaker 2: But would you be annoyed if Brenn said to Povet
- 36:20Speaker 2: what she said to Aaron's husband at the renewal vows
- 36:26Speaker 2: or whatever?
- 36:26Speaker 1: It was much worse to pu It to be fair, like,
- 36:29Speaker 1: I I know, I mean what I'm saying is Brin
- 36:33Speaker 1: there is there is literally not one bone in her
- 36:36Speaker 1: body that is intentionally trying to get your man. Like
- 36:40Speaker 1: she's just funny, She's.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Trying to be funny, She's just okay, worse humor.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Then I think Aaron needs to work on her delivery.
- 36:49Speaker 1: I can meaning of timing?
- 36:50Speaker 2: Ill, How did I know for season two? Which cast
- 36:54Speaker 2: member do you feel will come back pandering to fan reaction?
- 36:58Speaker 2: Like you know how some people will read what is
- 37:00Speaker 2: said about them on Twitter and then they come back
- 37:02Speaker 2: that new person. Yeah, I think it'll be like that.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get it. Man, I don't know.
- 37:11Speaker 1: I don't think anyone really because we are so like
- 37:16Speaker 1: I don't care what people anything, anyone cares what people
- 37:18Speaker 1: think of them on this coast. I really don't.
- 37:20Speaker 2: I do love that we see you guys actually natural.
- 37:24Speaker 2: You're not all glammed out twenty four to seven when
- 37:27Speaker 2: you're at home with your kids. You're actually at home
- 37:29Speaker 2: with your kids. Kids are doing regular things, throwing fits,
- 37:32Speaker 2: being their pants, like whatever it may be.
- 37:36Speaker 1: We don't have time, And I think that was one
- 37:38Speaker 1: of the one of the things that we said as
- 37:39Speaker 1: a group. It's like, we're not gonna sit in broad
- 37:42Speaker 1: daylight with a full face of makeup and hair done,
- 37:45Speaker 1: nails done, everything like it just we don't have the
- 37:48Speaker 1: time to do that. We don't have two hours in
- 37:50Speaker 1: our data to look that way.
- 37:52Speaker 2: So is brand always wearing real fur I don't know
- 37:57Speaker 2: if it's real, but she does love it, and she
- 38:00Speaker 2: has a fur on. I feel like it's one hundred
- 38:02Speaker 2: degrees and she has a fur on. I'm like, what
- 38:04Speaker 2: is happening?
- 38:06Speaker 1: It's so funny. The best line was when Uber was like,
- 38:10Speaker 1: Brent looks like she's from the Mississippi River, like down
- 38:14Speaker 1: She's like down in the Mississippi. Or she looks like
- 38:16Speaker 1: a pimp, like down in the Mississippi, or something to
- 38:18Speaker 1: that effect. But it was hilarious. It was so funny.
- 38:22Speaker 2: And does Uba ever get into it with anybody this season?
- 38:25Speaker 2: Because she seems just like so cool and chill. But
- 38:28Speaker 2: I want to know, is there ever a moment?
- 38:30Speaker 1: Yes? There is? Oh, yes there is. Do you haven't
- 38:33Speaker 1: see the trailer.
- 38:35Speaker 2: I have seen the trailer, but I feel like it's
- 38:37Speaker 2: they always trick you. I feel like the trailer leads
- 38:40Speaker 2: you to believe things are going down, and then it's
- 38:43Speaker 2: like somebody got a phone call from their realm and
- 38:45Speaker 2: they're upset, and like, I mean, I just watched Salt
- 38:48Speaker 2: Lake City, this whole flash forward and where I was
- 38:52Speaker 2: thinking in my head it was about gin Shaw, but
- 38:54Speaker 2: really it's about something else that happens later, and I'm like, oh, damn,
- 38:58Speaker 2: it that wrong, So I can't trust it.
- 39:00Speaker 1: You got catfish? No. In our case, the trailer and
- 39:05Speaker 1: what you've seen on the trailer is real life stuff. Yeah,
- 39:09Speaker 1: it happens, and it's that it's that dramatic.
- 39:12Speaker 2: So I'm excited to keep watching. How many episodes do
- 39:15Speaker 2: we have left?
- 39:16Speaker 1: So we're episode nine. I'm not sure, but I think
- 39:20Speaker 1: it's at least another five or six. I mean, I
- 39:22Speaker 1: don't know if the reunion counts in those.
- 39:24Speaker 2: But yeah, do you think you have two or do
- 39:27Speaker 2: you think you have two or three reunions?
- 39:29Speaker 1: Ooh, that's a good question. I'm gonna go with two.
- 39:36Speaker 1: But let's watch this.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Space because I want three because that's yeah, I know,
- 39:43Speaker 2: I know, I like, I.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Told you, I'm hiding behind Andy, so whatever that means.
- 39:52Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Well, we we appreciate you coming on
- 39:55Speaker 2: so much. We're loving watching you. Thank you for keeping
- 39:58Speaker 2: us entertained. And you, guys, is there any products or
- 40:02Speaker 2: anything other than the gen Alliance collapse that you guys
- 40:05Speaker 2: are all going to put on your instagrams? Is there
- 40:07Speaker 2: anything that you want to promote or talk about.
- 40:09Speaker 1: My lashes today? Actually no, I mean, look, I'm launching
- 40:14Speaker 1: my my e comms platform is bringing Indian designers to
- 40:17Speaker 1: the US and the UK, which I'm really excited about.
- 40:19Speaker 1: I'm all about the fashions and this is really my
- 40:23Speaker 1: baby that I've been building for for a while now.
- 40:26Speaker 1: So yeah, I'm excited about that and I haven't got
- 40:29Speaker 1: into the whole branding world yet, but I wanted, Yeah,
- 40:33Speaker 1: let's let's talk.
- 40:34Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, that's the next thing, and just do
- 40:37Speaker 2: it authentically whatever it is. That you believe in. As
- 40:39Speaker 2: long as it comes off natural, then people want you, know,
- 40:43Speaker 2: they want to relate to you. And so I appreciate
- 40:47Speaker 2: all that you've done and being so open and authentic
- 40:50Speaker 2: with us, and help you get messy later again too.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Oh it's gonna happen. Don't work, Okay, don't work. I
- 40:59Speaker 1: won't let you guys down, all right, thank you, thanks
- 41:03Speaker 1: so much time. M hm
- 41:11Speaker 2: M hm
