- 0:25Speaker 1: true for you. I'm Noelle Dean, intuitive medium and licensed

- 0:32Speaker 1: podcast is for educational purposes only and provides general information.
- 0:36Speaker 1: It's not medical or psychological advice and not a substitute
- 0:39Speaker 1: for care from a licensed health professional.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Now let's dive in.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I don't know if this is my grandfather, but we're
- 0:47Speaker 1: both sitting on the mountaintop and we're both singing.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 0:50Speaker 1: So I'm going to take that as we both are
- 0:52Speaker 1: enjoying our work and we're just sharing about it with
- 0:55Speaker 1: each other.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Sure. I can absolutely agree with that. 100%.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Introduce yourself, Summer, and talk a little bit about your background.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I'd love to hear about your work.
- 1:03Speaker 2: I'm Summer. I own Just Be True. I call it
- 1:07Speaker 2: an intuitive medium. So I'm medium. I'm also an energy healer.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I also channel. Through my Reiki energy healing, sometimes the
- 1:20Speaker 2: light language channel comes through. And I also use sound,
- 1:24Speaker 2: sound therapy with my energy healing. I first started doing
- 1:29Speaker 2: the readings years ago. I felt so weird because I
- 1:33Speaker 2: would go to these psychic fairs and everybody would have
- 1:35Speaker 2: the tarot cards laid out and I would be there
- 1:37Speaker 2: with a pen and paper. Those were my tools. And
- 1:40Speaker 2: I felt not like everybody else. I felt misplaced in
- 1:43Speaker 2: that space. But people were coming to see me. And
- 1:47Speaker 2: so from there, it grew into me having a clientele
- 1:50Speaker 2: and people coming on a regular basis and eventually owning
- 1:53Speaker 2: my own business. I started out doing the readings and
- 1:56Speaker 2: then the energy healing found me. And that's what I
- 1:59Speaker 2: really love because I feel it so much differently than
- 2:05Speaker 2: I do the readings. When I'm doing the energy healing,
- 2:09Speaker 2: it's just a totally different experience because And the way
- 2:13Speaker 2: the messages come in and the entities or the spirits
- 2:16Speaker 2: that step in to help, they're always different because they're
- 2:20Speaker 2: for that person. I'm just the go-between. I'm just the good.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I just love it because it's just a completely different
- 2:26Speaker 2: experience than the mediumship or the intuitive psychic readings.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I also identify as an intuitive medium. I avoid the
- 2:33Speaker 1: whole psychic part. I make that face that you're making
- 2:37Speaker 1: right now. I could just see it going wrong in
- 2:39Speaker 1: a lot of ways or people asking things that feel...
- 2:41Speaker 1: like reading other people in a way that would just
- 2:44Speaker 1: feel icky. So I don't really go there. I love
- 2:46Speaker 1: that you said the energy healing found you. Can you
- 2:49Speaker 1: describe what that was like?
- 2:51Speaker 2: It was funny because I was teaching a class on
- 2:55Speaker 2: the connection to spirit and how to hear your intuition
- 2:58Speaker 2: and feel it. I'm sitting there and I feel this
- 3:00Speaker 2: huge vibration in my hands. I look down and I'm like,
- 3:03Speaker 2: oh wow, I could feel it shift and change as
- 3:07Speaker 2: I moved my hands. And a young lady sitting in
- 3:11Speaker 2: the room, she goes, you know you're a healer, right?
- 3:14Speaker 2: And I'm like, thank you. And when I went to
- 3:17Speaker 2: do my Reiki training, it was instant connection. There was
- 3:20Speaker 2: no guessing. There was no studying. It was an instant connection.
- 3:25Speaker 2: But I do find myself, I'm not, I don't play
- 3:28Speaker 2: by the book in Reiki. I follow my intuition. No
- 3:31Speaker 2: two sessions are ever the same. They're all very different
- 3:35Speaker 2: from the messages that come in. from the energy that
- 3:38Speaker 2: I feel and how it moves, even the entities or
- 3:41Speaker 2: the spirits that I'm working with. I say entities because
- 3:43Speaker 2: sometimes I do feel like there's something from other planets
- 3:48Speaker 2: that come in depending on who's there. Every single time
- 3:51Speaker 2: I get messages. And so I keep a pencil and
- 3:53Speaker 2: paper next to me and I write down keywords as
- 3:56Speaker 2: I'm going through the process so that I can share
- 3:59Speaker 2: those with the client afterwards. I want them to relax
- 4:03Speaker 2: because their only job at that point is just relax
- 4:05Speaker 2: and receive. So I don't have the conversation with them
- 4:09Speaker 2: during the session. I have it with them after the session.
- 4:13Speaker 2: That makes sense.
- 4:14Speaker 1: And yeah, you want to leave people in the mode
- 4:17Speaker 1: of receiving. And if you get them in their head,
- 4:19Speaker 1: it would alter the dynamic of your whole meeting.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I blend the tuning forks, my crystal bowls and my
- 4:25Speaker 2: Tibetan bowl in with that, as well as using other
- 4:28Speaker 2: modalities that come in. Very cool.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I see that by the look on your face, your
- 4:33Speaker 1: whole energy is smiling, which is awesome.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I went to, matter of fact, I did a session
- 4:38Speaker 2: at a client's home and her dog was upstairs barking.
- 4:42Speaker 2: And as soon as I tapped in and began the process,
- 4:46Speaker 2: he stopped barking. It was like, wow, that was almost magical, right? Okay.
- 4:52Speaker 2: The two dogs in the house behind me.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Usually I hear them bark around three o'clock when the
- 4:56Speaker 1: kids come home. They just started barking super loud as
- 4:59Speaker 1: I was getting ready to meet with you. I had
- 5:01Speaker 1: to close all the windows and put my sound machine on.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I don't know if they could feel you come in,
- 5:07Speaker 2: but I have a friend who goes out of town
- 5:08Speaker 2: and I'll go and stay with her dog while they go.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I'm the only one that he can stay with because
- 5:13Speaker 2: I'm the only one he likes out of everybody that
- 5:14Speaker 2: comes around. And I go and he is underneath me
- 5:19Speaker 2: the entire time that I'm there. And then when I leave,
- 5:22Speaker 2: he knows when I'm leaving because he gets all pouty
- 5:26Speaker 2: and goes sit in the corner. And I'm like, hey,
- 5:29Speaker 2: I'll be back.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I am moved to tears feeling like the sadness or
- 5:32Speaker 1: the longing of the dog. Have you tuned into past
- 5:35Speaker 1: lives and your history?
- 5:37Speaker 2: Is that okay?
- 5:38Speaker 1: Do you have a history with dogs in particular? Because
- 5:41Speaker 1: it feels like a very strong connection. I do.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Me and Jack, so Jack's is the dog's name. Me
- 5:46Speaker 2: and him hit it off in the very beginning. And
- 5:48Speaker 2: the owner thought that was odd because he really doesn't
- 5:51Speaker 2: like other people. And he had a sister, Chloe, and
- 5:55Speaker 2: she passed away. And I can feel Jack's sadness now
- 5:58Speaker 2: that Chloe's gone. But Chloe comes around. There's times when
- 6:04Speaker 2: he'll be sitting there and he's watching something move. And
- 6:08Speaker 2: I believe that's her coming around and checking on him.
- 6:11Speaker 2: I can feel his sadness. I do Reiki on him too.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I also give him sound baths when I'm there because
- 6:18Speaker 2: as soon as I bring my bowls out, he goes
- 6:20Speaker 2: and lays down on his little pillow in the living
- 6:23Speaker 2: room and he's ready. I always have felt a connection
- 6:27Speaker 2: to dogs. I really do. My daughter's got two dogs.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And when I go over there, they think I'm there
- 6:32Speaker 2: to visit them. They're up underneath me the whole time
- 6:36Speaker 2: I'm there. Me and dogs have them. My eyes keep tearing.
- 6:39Speaker 2: You work with people. Do you also work with dogs?
- 6:42Speaker 2: I do. Yeah. And I love working with the dogs
- 6:44Speaker 2: because after their first initial session, when they need another one,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I can feel their energy moving in. I'll just pause
- 6:52Speaker 2: and do a little session and then I'll reach out
- 6:54Speaker 2: to the owner and I'll be like, hey, your fur
- 6:56Speaker 2: baby came. This is what I discovered. One of them
- 7:00Speaker 2: came one time and I felt all the energy around
- 7:03Speaker 2: the back hips. When I texted their parents and I
- 7:08Speaker 2: was like, his left back hip is really bothering him.
- 7:10Speaker 2: If you can massage it, but also heat would be
- 7:13Speaker 2: very helpful. And then she sent me a text back
- 7:17Speaker 2: saying that he fell down the steps two days before.
- 7:20Speaker 2: And his back hips have been bothering him since then.
- 7:23Speaker 2: So that was just validation for it, right? Pets are
- 7:26Speaker 2: so easy to do Reiki because they don't have the
- 7:28Speaker 2: blockages that we do, right? They don't have the bias
- 7:31Speaker 2: and the blockages and all that stuff that we do
- 7:33Speaker 2: because they're just pure love and energy. And so it's
- 7:37Speaker 2: a lot easier. You do it remotely and in person.
- 7:40Speaker 2: The pets I prefer to do remotely. Because when you're there,
- 7:44Speaker 2: they can get overexcited and overstimulated pretty easily. And so
- 7:48Speaker 2: I like to do it remotely because it's just easier
- 7:51Speaker 2: for me. But it does work because I can feel
- 7:53Speaker 2: their energy coming to me.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I can see maybe it's a little more diffused in
- 7:57Speaker 1: how they experience it. We know that distance Reiki or
- 8:01Speaker 1: healing is very effective. It is a different experience being
- 8:04Speaker 1: in person. I could see how that can feel a
- 8:06Speaker 1: little overwhelming. Some people's energy is just off the charts.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Being sensitive and being someone who is very connected to
- 8:13Speaker 2: energy and can feel it and sense it, you have
- 8:15Speaker 2: to protect your own energy when somebody else's is very overwhelming, right?
- 8:20Speaker 2: And learning how to step into that with a calming
- 8:23Speaker 2: presence and keeping your energy within its own sacred space
- 8:29Speaker 2: without that coming through. Absolutely. I was listening to one
- 8:33Speaker 2: of your podcast episodes. Oh, okay.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So your podcast, Just Be True. And the episode was
- 8:39Speaker 1: talking about the title of it is you don't have
- 8:41Speaker 1: to chase your intuition. I wrote down something that you said,
- 8:46Speaker 1: two things. You said for intuition, it doesn't respond to force.
- 8:50Speaker 1: It responds to space, safety, and presence. And then I
- 8:54Speaker 1: loved this next thing you said, your intuition is already
- 8:57Speaker 1: a relationship within you.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Yes. Can you talk a little more about that? I
- 9:01Speaker 2: feel if you're chasing it, if you're searching for it,
- 9:05Speaker 2: you're going to get in the way because at that point,
- 9:07Speaker 2: your ego, your desires are getting in the way, right?
- 9:11Speaker 2: But when you can find yourself, be able to have
- 9:13Speaker 2: the ability to be one with it within all versus
- 9:17Speaker 2: separate from it. Because if we're separate from our intuition,
- 9:22Speaker 2: we're always having to reach for it. We're having to
- 9:24Speaker 2: grasp it. If you learn to bring it in own
- 9:27Speaker 2: it fully, then it's natural and you're walking with it
- 9:30Speaker 2: day to day. It's right here and I hear it
- 9:33Speaker 2: and I feel it all day. And so you allow
- 9:36Speaker 2: yourself to get into that intuitive mind space to allow
- 9:42Speaker 2: it to flow through you and be a part of
- 9:45Speaker 2: your daily communication, whether it's through sensations that your body
- 9:50Speaker 2: gives you. Or there's several different ways your intuition can
- 9:53Speaker 2: come through, right? We can hear, we can see, we
- 9:55Speaker 2: can sense, we can feel. And so when they're coming
- 9:59Speaker 2: in and when they're there and with you you acknowledge
- 10:02Speaker 2: it this presence it being a part of you and
- 10:04Speaker 2: incorporate it into your communication or your day or whatever
- 10:09Speaker 2: you're doing it's like even like our gut feelings is
- 10:12Speaker 2: a part of that right because our solar plexus our
- 10:14Speaker 2: gut is very much connected to our third eye being
- 10:16Speaker 2: able to be one with it all versus trying to
- 10:21Speaker 2: look for it outside of yourself? I had a different
- 10:24Speaker 2: kind of path.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I was treated with chemotherapy, which turned my brain off, basically.
- 10:30Speaker 1: My only way to navigate myself at all was through
- 10:33Speaker 1: my intuition or my husband and his intuition. So I
- 10:37Speaker 1: don't feel like I had a progression. I had been
- 10:39Speaker 1: working towards being more connected to my intuition for a
- 10:42Speaker 1: long time before then, but my head would always get
- 10:44Speaker 1: in the way. I was always an overthinker and kind
- 10:47Speaker 1: of an analyzer.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I was a data analyst when I first started opening
- 10:51Speaker 2: up and I wanted to tear it apart and break
- 10:55Speaker 2: it down. And then I realized I'm going to drive
- 10:58Speaker 2: myself crazy because there's no making sense of it. That
- 11:00Speaker 2: happens for a purpose and a reason, right? And sometimes
- 11:03Speaker 2: you just can't make sense of it.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I'm feeling the emotions come back to me now again
- 11:08Speaker 1: and talk to me about that, which just feels like
- 11:11Speaker 1: the alignment of it is coming up.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I'm with you.
- 11:14Speaker 1: The idea of acknowledging ourselves as spiritual beings and trusting,
- 11:20Speaker 1: blind faith trusting that what's coming in, especially when it
- 11:24Speaker 1: makes no sense, is our intuition. I do a development circle.
- 11:28Speaker 1: And when I have a new person, I now read
- 11:30Speaker 1: the etiquette rules. One of the rules is if you
- 11:32Speaker 1: pick up on something, share it as accurately as you can.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Try not to add anything. Try not to interpret anything.
- 11:39Speaker 2: And remember, the wackier, the better. Yes. And I can't
- 11:42Speaker 2: tell you how many times I'm telling somebody, this makes
- 11:45Speaker 2: absolutely no sense, but here it is. It's going to
- 11:49Speaker 2: make sense to them. When we start putting our logical
- 11:53Speaker 2: mind into it, we're going to get it wrong 100%
- 11:55Speaker 2: of the time. You have to allow that intuitive mind
- 12:00Speaker 2: to come in and lead. I'm a type A personality,
- 12:03Speaker 2: and that was very difficult. So learning enough to give
- 12:06Speaker 2: up that control and just be in that allowance, allowing
- 12:10Speaker 2: the information to flow through and to come through us
- 12:13Speaker 2: is what's really important.
- 12:15Speaker 1: As you say, control, what came to me was also
- 12:18Speaker 1: the knowing, having things be predictable. At times I've been
- 12:21Speaker 1: more type A and having life feel a bit predictable,
- 12:25Speaker 1: which can definitely be under the category of control. It's
- 12:29Speaker 1: like turning over the steering wheel, not like you're leaving
- 12:31Speaker 1: the driver's seat.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Sometimes I can see what the outcome is going to be.
- 12:35Speaker 2: And so I need to let go of how it
- 12:37Speaker 2: gets there. I'm going to let the flow and the
- 12:40Speaker 2: intuition take me there, knowing what that outcome. There are
- 12:44Speaker 2: several times where I've seen things and I'll be like, oh, okay,
- 12:47Speaker 2: that's what's going to happen. It may be anywhere from
- 12:50Speaker 2: a week to five years down the road, but it happens.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I used to keep a very detailed journal, especially at
- 12:57Speaker 2: the beginning, I'd have a Steno pad. And I would
- 13:00Speaker 2: put the date in which I started writing in it.
- 13:02Speaker 2: And then I'd put the date when I ended it.
- 13:05Speaker 2: A few months after I did it, I would go
- 13:06Speaker 2: back and I would do tick marks for every time
- 13:10Speaker 2: something happened. And then every time something didn't happen. But
- 13:14Speaker 2: it came out to be like a 97 percentile of
- 13:17Speaker 2: accuracy on that, which I thought was crazy. I was
- 13:20Speaker 2: a data analyst. I had to analyze it and had
- 13:22Speaker 2: to break it down. That was the only way I
- 13:24Speaker 2: could get through it. But then what I realized is
- 13:28Speaker 2: that just because you predict something and it didn't happen
- 13:31Speaker 2: doesn't necessarily mean it was wrong at the time. The
- 13:33Speaker 2: roadmap could have changed. The decisions that you made before
- 13:38Speaker 2: that could have redirected that outcome. Just because we predicted
- 13:43Speaker 2: something two weeks ago, but then halfway in there, I
- 13:45Speaker 2: decided to go a different route. If I'd stayed on
- 13:48Speaker 2: the route that I was two weeks ago, yes, that
- 13:50Speaker 2: one thing would have happened. I made a decision and
- 13:54Speaker 2: that changed the outcome. I really believe that we live
- 13:58Speaker 2: in parallel lives. I can't go into much detail, but
- 14:00Speaker 2: a couple of years ago, I made a decision and
- 14:03Speaker 2: said no about something. And probably 20 minutes after that,
- 14:08Speaker 2: I felt a shift. And I was like, oh, I
- 14:12Speaker 2: just stepped on a new parallel universe to take me
- 14:15Speaker 2: into that different direction. I was sitting still and I
- 14:19Speaker 2: felt that shift. I was like, oh, is that what
- 14:22Speaker 2: just happened? That's the first thought that came into my mind.
- 14:24Speaker 2: So I can only say, yes, that's what happened. That's
- 14:27Speaker 2: my truth.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Can I ask you the difference between psychic and intuitive?
- 14:31Speaker 1: I don't say psychic because I don't endeavor to do
- 14:33Speaker 1: psychic readings.
- 14:34Speaker 2: I think it's all the same. Okay.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I was going to ask because you were saying I
- 14:38Speaker 1: don't do that.
- 14:39Speaker 2: But then when you're.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Talking about making these predictions, I would still call that intuitive.
- 14:43Speaker 1: But you're also talking about getting that for yourself. And
- 14:47Speaker 1: now I'm wondering, is it the source of the information?
- 14:50Speaker 1: that you feel like is psychic versus intuitive. If it
- 14:53Speaker 1: comes from maybe your higher self, you might consider that
- 14:56Speaker 1: more intuitive.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I feel that they are just one in the same.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I'm not crazy about the word psychic because of all
- 15:03Speaker 2: the gunk around it, the messiness around it. So I
- 15:07Speaker 2: lean more into intuitive. My readings, I call them intuitive readings,
- 15:11Speaker 2: but I feel it is both the same. In regards
- 15:14Speaker 2: to how the information comes in or where it comes from,
- 15:16Speaker 2: I think that's where the difference is. The mediumship, I
- 15:20Speaker 2: have to get into a different space. I have to
- 15:22Speaker 2: lean forward into mediumship. I feel my energy leaning forward
- 15:27Speaker 2: and reaching out to whomever I'm trying to connect with.
- 15:31Speaker 2: And I have to get into a different vibrational space.
- 15:35Speaker 2: When I channel, it's up. It's straight up. And I
- 15:41Speaker 2: can literally feel them coming from, I don't know, it's
- 15:43Speaker 2: hard to say, from the back and then down. And
- 15:46Speaker 2: then sometimes it's just really soft, just right here. I
- 15:50Speaker 2: think everything's all here in the same space, just a
- 15:54Speaker 2: different vibrational levels in which they resonate, which they stay at.
- 15:58Speaker 2: And so it's me having to take my vibration to
- 16:01Speaker 2: whatever those levels are to meet them. Does that make sense?
- 16:05Speaker 2: That actually does make sense to me. Yeah, I hear you.
- 16:08Speaker 1: When you're saying them, going back to the entities that
- 16:11Speaker 1: you were referring to and when you do healing and
- 16:14Speaker 1: they're somewhat anonymous, you may have a sense of who
- 16:17Speaker 1: they are.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I can feel their energy. Some of them are very
- 16:20Speaker 2: big and they make me feel really small when they
- 16:24Speaker 2: come in. I can tell what their energy feels like.
- 16:26Speaker 2: For instance, like this lady that I did Reiki for
- 16:29Speaker 2: last week, I very clearly is like, oh, there's clearly
- 16:32Speaker 2: three angelic beings right there with you at all times.
- 16:36Speaker 2: And I got the name Gabrielle and Mary, Archangel Gabrielle.
- 16:39Speaker 2: I gave her that. And then another lady, I told her,
- 16:42Speaker 2: I was like, your spiritual group that's around you feels
- 16:46Speaker 2: very militant. Like very serious, no kidding around. Yeah. It's
- 16:52Speaker 2: just like, I can see that.
- 16:55Speaker 1: And I think that's one of the coolest things about
- 16:57Speaker 1: being able to be like the transmitter of things is
- 17:01Speaker 1: that you can probably articulate things to people for them
- 17:05Speaker 1: that they might not have even been able to communicate
- 17:08Speaker 1: so well for themselves. But then they're like, oh, yeah, no,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I get that. Yeah, because as soon as you say it,
- 17:13Speaker 1: they recognize it and they're with it, right?
- 17:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes total sense. I get that. Or they'll
- 17:19Speaker 2: be like, oh, okay, now I know why.
- 17:22Speaker 1: It's so weird to think about helping people make more
- 17:25Speaker 1: sense to themselves.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Somebody had to do it for me.
- 17:29Speaker 1: It sounds weird coming out of my mouth, but then
- 17:31Speaker 1: I'm like, who am I kidding?
- 17:33Speaker 2: That is a lot. Yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 1: So tell me, what is your favorite kind of reading
- 17:37Speaker 1: or what you feel like your specialty is? Like when
- 17:39Speaker 1: people come to you for this particular type of thing,
- 17:42Speaker 1: you're like, oh, yes.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Make them feel that it's normal, that they're not going crazy. Gotcha. Yeah.
- 17:51Speaker 2: And making them feel welcome. I hear all the time
- 17:55Speaker 2: that my presence is very calming and people just feel
- 17:59Speaker 2: relaxed and calm and safe around me. And so just
- 18:03Speaker 2: making people feel connected and you're not losing your mind.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I do mentorship in this space to help people recognize
- 18:11Speaker 2: it and to be with it, learn to work with it,
- 18:14Speaker 2: to not be afraid of it, to not try too hard.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Because especially when we first step into this awakening space,
- 18:25Speaker 2: sometimes we try too hard to connect to it. And
- 18:28Speaker 2: then sometimes we just kind of spiral, right? And so
- 18:32Speaker 2: being able to recognize that, identify it, work through it,
- 18:36Speaker 2: calm it down. I can see that. I remember the
- 18:38Speaker 2: day I had my first appointment with the medium and
- 18:42Speaker 2: I didn't know what a medium was. My best friend
- 18:45Speaker 2: told me to go. So we had built a house
- 18:48Speaker 2: and I was going through the house explaining everything, the
- 18:52Speaker 2: vacuum cleaner, the washing machine, the dryer, why I folded
- 18:55Speaker 2: certain things. And I'm saying these things out loud and
- 18:57Speaker 2: I tell my best friend, I was like, I'm losing it.
- 19:00Speaker 2: And I was like, I'm going around the house explaining
- 19:03Speaker 2: this stuff, and I'm not just saying it in my head.
- 19:05Speaker 2: I'm saying it out loud. And nobody's physically there asking
- 19:09Speaker 2: me these things. I was like, I don't know what's
- 19:12Speaker 2: going on. She's like, well, you need to go see
- 19:14Speaker 2: a medium. And I'm like, what's a medium? She's like,
- 19:17Speaker 2: don't worry. Just make your appointment. So I made an
- 19:21Speaker 2: appointment with who she recommended. The day of, I'm sitting
- 19:25Speaker 2: at work in my cubicle, and I got my hair
- 19:28Speaker 2: in my hands holding it. I'm hearing three to four
- 19:31Speaker 2: voices just circling my head. So think about the Looney
- 19:34Speaker 2: Tunes cartoons where they bought the head of a shooting star.
- 19:36Speaker 2: So it was like that. And I was literally thinking,
- 19:39Speaker 2: I'm going to have to be institutionalized. I'm going crazy.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Because I was scared. I get to my appointment. She
- 19:48Speaker 2: invites me in. I sit down. and she said, the
- 19:51Speaker 2: first thing I have to let you know is that
- 19:53Speaker 2: you're not crazy. I set up and I'm like, what
- 19:57Speaker 2: do you mean? I'm not crazy. We hadn't had any
- 20:00Speaker 2: conversation except for introductions like I'm Summer and she's Jamie.
- 20:03Speaker 2: That was it. And then she told me that I
- 20:05Speaker 2: could hear voices from the other side. And it was
- 20:08Speaker 2: like a light switch flipped on and everything from that
- 20:11Speaker 2: point as far back as I could remember made perfect sense. Wow.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I was no longer afraid of it. I was more like, oh, okay,
- 20:20Speaker 2: this is what this is. How do I work with it?
- 20:23Speaker 2: How do I connect with it? How do I be
- 20:26Speaker 2: one with it? Nice.
- 20:28Speaker 1: That makes sense why you feel passionately about doing that
- 20:31Speaker 1: for others. That would have made all the difference in
- 20:33Speaker 1: the world. And I'm with you about the fear of
- 20:35Speaker 1: needing to be institutionalized. All of us that hear things
- 20:39Speaker 1: or experience stuff that we don't expect can feel that way.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Some people get really stuck there, which I have a
- 20:46Speaker 1: lot of compassion for. The fear of having mental health issues.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Even now I have moments.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I've been doing this work for what feels like a
- 20:52Speaker 2: long time.
- 20:54Speaker 1: But every once in a while, and it just happened
- 20:56Speaker 1: recently where I was hearing something and I was just like,
- 20:59Speaker 1: what in the hell.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Is, but even I'm not freaked out by it. Cause
- 21:03Speaker 2: it doesn't scare me at this point.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Like if I'm having an experience, I really don't want,
- 21:09Speaker 1: I need to just be aware enough and empowered enough.
- 21:11Speaker 2: To set boundaries.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Like, no, thank you. Or to distinguish who or what
- 21:15Speaker 1: it is.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Yeah. But it can get weird. Yeah. And mine is
- 21:19Speaker 2: so in here lately. Um, In the last maybe six
- 21:23Speaker 2: or seven months, I've been seeing things more. That's a
- 21:27Speaker 2: little nerve wracking, right? When you're seeing a figure and
- 21:31Speaker 2: then they're gone and they're in the same room with you.
- 21:34Speaker 2: And it's just like, I know I just saw something, right? Yeah.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I feel like we get a little heads up about
- 21:41Speaker 1: something that's down the pike and maybe how we respond
- 21:44Speaker 1: to it. If you were like, oh, hell no, I
- 21:47Speaker 1: don't want to see anything. Maybe they'd be like, nevermind us.
- 21:51Speaker 1: But they give us a little taste of something here
- 21:53Speaker 1: and there. And then we respond or not, or even
- 21:57Speaker 1: if it's a bit overwhelming, but we're able to attune
- 22:00Speaker 1: to it. It may keep growing. I attended the channel
- 22:04Speaker 1: panel conference a few months back.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Are you familiar with that? No, I'm curious. It was
- 22:11Speaker 2: pretty cool, actually.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I hadn't really heard of it before, but I've seen
- 22:15Speaker 1: Bashar being channeled on YouTube for a long time. They
- 22:19Speaker 1: were one of the guests, Daryl Anka, who channels Bashar
- 22:22Speaker 1: and Bashar. But it's nice to get a reading from
- 22:25Speaker 1: a medium. I like it when I trade readings with
- 22:27Speaker 1: friends or we read each other.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Somebody who's more objective than you are.
- 22:30Speaker 1: But it is really special to be able to be
- 22:33Speaker 1: more connected with family members or angels or your guides
- 22:36Speaker 1: or whoever it is that you really connect with. Anyway,
- 22:39Speaker 1: at the end of the channel panel, they offer this activation.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I really wanted that more than any other.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Piece of it.
- 22:45Speaker 1: So I followed the desire for that. It was just
- 22:48Speaker 1: music and some visuals. It was 30 minutes.
- 22:50Speaker 2: I was okay. And I went to bed.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I usually get up around three in the morning and
- 22:53Speaker 1: I saw this whole sort of grid, active, moving.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Light grid in front of me. So clear.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Not in my mind's eye.
- 23:03Speaker 2: My sleepy eyes, but still.
- 23:05Speaker 1: And we got to talking a little bit. And the
- 23:07Speaker 1: name I got was Camden. I was apologizing recently. Camden,
- 23:10Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. Because I'm sure we're meant to do
- 23:13Speaker 1: something together, not just say hi. And I've really been
- 23:16Speaker 1: putting her off. And how she shows up is like
- 23:20Speaker 1: the snow on the television from years ago when TV
- 23:23Speaker 1: was turned off at 2 a.m. I'll open my eyes,
- 23:25Speaker 1: but I'll see through the snow.
- 23:28Speaker 2: That just happened. This morning, these things that you just.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Don't expect and connections you can make that are pretty
- 23:35Speaker 1: extraordinary that I've had to learn to not say, this
- 23:38Speaker 1: is going to sound weird, even though I still say
- 23:40Speaker 1: it once in a while.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Sounds weird. I feel that Camden has to say that
- 23:44Speaker 2: she's been working with you. You just have not always
- 23:46Speaker 2: been aware that it's her that you've been working with.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I saw your eyes shift. Thank you for delivering that message.
- 23:53Speaker 1: And I'm glad because I would hate the idea of
- 23:54Speaker 1: disappointing her. They all have to work pretty hard to
- 23:57Speaker 1: communicate with us.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Yeah. So thank you. You're welcome. You've been working with
- 24:03Speaker 2: her quite a while. You just have not always been
- 24:05Speaker 2: aware that you've been working with her. Gotcha. She's your
- 24:09Speaker 2: little nugget. What does that mean to you? Like your
- 24:14Speaker 2: little golden nugget. Ooh. I don't know, but I love that. Oh,
- 24:17Speaker 2: your camera just pulsed when I... Really? Yes, it hadn't
- 24:21Speaker 2: moved at all. It just pulsed. That's pretty cool. Wow.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I was told several years ago that I am supposed
- 24:30Speaker 1: to create six to seven books. My impression was that
- 24:34Speaker 1: I would maybe channel a book from Camden. I have
- 24:37Speaker 1: a cat in spirit who told me he's a frustrated writer.
- 24:41Speaker 1: We already started working a little bit on his book.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Nice. Yeah.
- 24:45Speaker 1: So gosh, I don't know what the little nugget is,
- 24:46Speaker 1: but I'll sit with that. Thank you for that. And see,
- 24:49Speaker 1: that's like the perfect example of when you spend time
- 24:52Speaker 1: with a medium, little things come up that are not
- 24:55Speaker 1: in your own awareness.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Just because we have that sense and that ability doesn't
- 25:01Speaker 2: mean that we always know about our stuff. Because a
- 25:04Speaker 2: lot of times we're just oblivious of our stuff. Work
- 25:08Speaker 2: with so many others that we neglect ourselves sometimes.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Or you can just take things for granted. I tend
- 25:13Speaker 1: to be a bit of an avoider. So I'll be like,
- 25:16Speaker 1: oh yeah, I'll get back to that. And I'm going
- 25:18Speaker 1: to stay busy doing these 14 other things. Whether it's
- 25:21Speaker 1: fear or just.
- 25:22Speaker 2: lack of.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Certainty in the moment or whatever it is. It's easy
- 25:26Speaker 1: to avoid when we're open. We can be open to
- 25:29Speaker 1: so many things and meanings and energies.
- 25:32Speaker 2: How many times do you hear something? Just say, go
- 25:34Speaker 2: ahead and do it. I'm busy doing this. Just go
- 25:37Speaker 2: ahead and do it.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I love what you were saying about each reading you
- 25:40Speaker 1: do is different. Each healing you do is a little
- 25:42Speaker 1: bit different because it includes that person's team, whoever that is.
- 25:46Speaker 1: How beautiful that maybe people who might come for a
- 25:49Speaker 1: healing or Or an intuitive session may not expect it,
- 25:53Speaker 1: but it's just so customized each time.
- 25:55Speaker 2: And that's just so special. The only thing that I
- 25:59Speaker 2: do this routine is I use dowsing rods. I use
- 26:03Speaker 2: them at the beginning and at the end. At the
- 26:05Speaker 2: beginning of the reading, I start at the feet and
- 26:08Speaker 2: I run the dowsing rods up the body and they
- 26:12Speaker 2: will turn and spin. I'll just take a visual note
- 26:15Speaker 2: because that's the energy in their body. And then I
- 26:18Speaker 2: do the Reiki and sure enough, things will pick up
- 26:20Speaker 2: in those same areas. And that's when I get my
- 26:22Speaker 2: little pen and I'm writing down my keywords. And then
- 26:25Speaker 2: at the end of the Reiki, I do them again.
- 26:28Speaker 2: And they are parallel all the way down. The first
- 26:32Speaker 2: time I did that was somebody watching. The husband and
- 26:35Speaker 2: wife came in. The husband got the Reiki and the
- 26:37Speaker 2: wife wanted to observe. And I did that. And at
- 26:40Speaker 2: the end, she's like, oh, wow.
- 26:42Speaker 1: How cool to create a visual representation.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I have tape on the end of it. So if
- 26:47Speaker 2: I do a distant Reiki, I record it. And then
- 26:52Speaker 2: they get that recording afterwards, that energies. Oh, those rods
- 26:55Speaker 2: still move because I'm bringing in their essence, right? I
- 26:59Speaker 2: like my dowsing rods because it gives a visual. I'm
- 27:01Speaker 2: a very visual person because my gift came in visually
- 27:05Speaker 2: and by words.
- 27:06Speaker 1: And that would make a lot of sense for working
- 27:08Speaker 1: with clients to have them see what's actually happening rather
- 27:13Speaker 1: than you're just sitting there intuitively working in your head.
- 27:17Speaker 1: And then some words may come out afterwards. What a
- 27:20Speaker 1: great way to give them their own sense of physical evidence.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Dowsing runs. It's a funny story. I went to a
- 27:27Speaker 2: conference and there was a vendor there and she had
- 27:29Speaker 2: all these kind of things out. This particular set, I
- 27:33Speaker 2: was like, oh, those are mine. I went along my
- 27:35Speaker 2: day and I come back and be like, those are mine.
- 27:37Speaker 2: And at the end of the day, they were still there.
- 27:39Speaker 2: And that's when I bought them was at the end
- 27:41Speaker 2: of the day. How cool is that? Yeah, it's pretty
- 27:45Speaker 2: cool when something's meant. Yeah, I don't know. State it,
- 27:48Speaker 2: you own it, it's yours. I think there's a saying
- 27:51Speaker 2: is if you can believe it, you're halfway there. That
- 27:54Speaker 2: makes sense though.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Fighting the doubt or the self-doubt or the, it's just
- 27:58Speaker 1: my imagination or whatever you could write things off about.
- 28:02Speaker 2: So what is your imagination? It's there for a reason.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Why not believe it? Right? Yeah, but it's.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Such a, I'm just getting this visual. There's this huge
- 28:12Speaker 1: chasm between believing it and before you ever knew to
- 28:16Speaker 1: believe it.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Feeling it, right? Yeah. Yeah, it can. I believe that
- 28:23Speaker 2: every thought comes in for a purpose. If something comes
- 28:26Speaker 2: in that's really outrageous, sit with it, right? Does it resonate?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Does it not? If it doesn't resonate, let it flow
- 28:33Speaker 2: on by. But if it resonates, ask why. How does
- 28:36Speaker 2: this resonate? Why does this resonate? Is it something familiar?
- 28:39Speaker 2: You may not know the answer. It may just be
- 28:41Speaker 2: a feeling and it may just be a knowing without
- 28:44Speaker 2: truly understanding it. Embrace it and carry it forward. if
- 28:48Speaker 2: it's right.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Like you were saying earlier about getting a heads up
- 28:52Speaker 1: about things ahead of time. If it doesn't make sense,
- 28:55Speaker 1: but you resonate with it, then maybe you hang on
- 28:58Speaker 1: to it for a while and revisit once in a while.
- 29:00Speaker 1: See if it starts to make more sense or it's expanding.
- 29:04Speaker 2: I had a dream that makes no sense, but I'm
- 29:07Speaker 2: still sitting with it. I'm still waiting. I was like,
- 29:09Speaker 2: there's something there because the dream was too real and
- 29:13Speaker 2: too vivid. My best friend passed away in 2019. She
- 29:17Speaker 2: was in the dream. And I kept asking, I get
- 29:20Speaker 2: so mad at myself because every time she shows up
- 29:23Speaker 2: in my dream, I'm like, where have you been? But
- 29:25Speaker 2: I guess my subconscious mind goes there because I know
- 29:29Speaker 2: she's with me all the time. I can hear her.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I can feel her. I can sense her. And this
- 29:33Speaker 2: last time she just looks at me and then she
- 29:37Speaker 2: tells me, you need to work with Angela. She's going
- 29:40Speaker 2: to be good work with and I'm like who's Angela
- 29:42Speaker 2: I don't know an Angela I'm just hanging on to
- 29:44Speaker 2: that right because I don't know and why would you
- 29:46Speaker 2: tell me that why can't you tell me.
- 29:49Speaker 1: More I just can't stop thinking about the name Angela
- 29:51Speaker 1: because it's angel a yes I thought that.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Too and I was like Angela angel okay it could
- 29:58Speaker 2: be you It could be an angel. I'm getting full
- 30:01Speaker 2: body chills. So it could be something from beyond. I
- 30:03Speaker 2: need to take time to connect. Sit with it.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I could relate to the dream about your best friend
- 30:09Speaker 1: before I realized I could really connect in the way
- 30:12Speaker 1: that I did. I'm trying to remember who it was.
- 30:14Speaker 1: It might have been my grandmother, who I would very
- 30:17Speaker 1: rarely dream about. But in the dream, I know I'd
- 30:20Speaker 1: be like, where have you been? Because I would see
- 30:22Speaker 1: her in her old apartment. And it was like she
- 30:26Speaker 1: lived there the whole time in the dream.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Yeah. And I was like, what the hell? How did
- 30:30Speaker 2: I not know you were still here? Where have you?
- 30:33Speaker 2: It seems so real.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:34Speaker 2: I get so frustrated because they disappear and be like.
- 30:39Speaker 2: They're acting all casual and you're like, I have missed you. Yeah,
- 30:42Speaker 2: we're freaking out. And I'm like, why can't I just.
- 30:46Speaker 2: talk to her? Why do I have to freak out?
- 30:48Speaker 2: So my logical mind understands that there's something there. I'm
- 30:52Speaker 2: assuming it's my subconscious that's still having that disconnect. Yeah.
- 30:58Speaker 1: I just keep getting the word abandoned. You felt abandoned.
- 31:02Speaker 2: It was sudden. Nobody expected it. I talked to her. Luckily,
- 31:05Speaker 2: I talked to her the day before. So I felt
- 31:08Speaker 2: good about that. But for you, for somebody who gets
- 31:11Speaker 2: a heads up about things. Oh, I was so mad
- 31:14Speaker 2: because I have even predicted death for four clients. I
- 31:18Speaker 2: was so freaking mad. I shut down for two years.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I was like, if this is how you're going to
- 31:24Speaker 2: treat me, this is what I'm going to do to you.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Until it started coming back so strong, I couldn't ignore it.
- 31:29Speaker 2: And then I'm like, OK, I opened back up. I'm
- 31:33Speaker 2: just feeling the sadness. I can picture and she's got
- 31:35Speaker 2: a tear coming down her face. From one of her eyes,
- 31:38Speaker 2: that scared too. We can get scared in the space too.
- 31:41Speaker 2: About a week after her death, I was sitting at
- 31:43Speaker 2: the cafeteria at work with a coworker, a friend of hers.
- 31:47Speaker 2: And she was asking me what I thought happened. And
- 31:50Speaker 2: I could feel this coldness come over. It was August.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Summer's down here in high nineties. And I started shivering.
- 32:00Speaker 2: And my jaw started chattering. I had these cold goosebumps
- 32:05Speaker 2: come all over me like I was freezing. And now
- 32:09Speaker 2: I understand that was her trying to tell me what
- 32:12Speaker 2: she went through. But at the time, the physical reaction
- 32:16Speaker 2: to that was so strong. It really scared me a
- 32:18Speaker 2: little bit. Yeah. This was before I stepped into channeling.
- 32:23Speaker 2: So I wasn't used to something coming in like that.
- 32:27Speaker 2: And with us being so close and being best friends,
- 32:30Speaker 2: I'm sure it was very easy for her to just
- 32:34Speaker 2: be right in. I'm getting from her, you're entitled to
- 32:37Speaker 2: your emotions. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I believe that. Yeah.
- 32:41Speaker 2: I'm not apologetic for it. Oh, yeah.
- 32:44Speaker 1: We're here having this human experience, but I do feel
- 32:46Speaker 1: like the sorrow and regretfulness of the traumatic impact it
- 32:51Speaker 1: had on you to go that way and that she
- 32:54Speaker 1: couldn't help herself.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Oh, big chills. She's right here. Yeah.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I hope this makes sense. It feels like she's saying
- 33:01Speaker 1: she's sorry she couldn't take care of herself better or
- 33:03Speaker 1: something like that.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 33:06Speaker 1: But she did what she did and it was what
- 33:08Speaker 1: it was. And sometimes you get a message, but there's
- 33:11Speaker 1: one word you're like, grammatically, that doesn't make sense.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Am I getting the whole message right? Love yourself. And
- 33:17Speaker 2: then I'm like, can you clarify that? Probably just love
- 33:20Speaker 2: yourself because she struggled with that too. Oh, gotcha.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Better learn to love yourself while you're still here.
- 33:28Speaker 2: She struggled with that. Many of us do. And the
- 33:31Speaker 2: best thing that you can do for yourself is to
- 33:33Speaker 2: learn to love you. There's nobody else in this entire
- 33:35Speaker 2: world that you're going to be with from the day
- 33:37Speaker 2: you're born to the day you leave. It's only going
- 33:40Speaker 2: to be you. So might as well learn to be
- 33:42Speaker 2: best friends and love you.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I think that's a huge part of why we came
- 33:47Speaker 1: is to exercise that and undo some of the crap
- 33:50Speaker 1: we did to ourselves or abusiveness we did to ourselves previously.
- 33:53Speaker 1: I'm sure that's one of mine too.
- 33:55Speaker 2: It's taken me a long time to get here. And
- 33:57Speaker 2: to be comfortable with who and what I am. Good work.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 34:04Speaker 1: It's a pleasure talking to you and being with you.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I'm really glad we met. I am too.
- 34:09Speaker 1: So Summer, how can people reach out to you for
- 34:12Speaker 1: sessions or get to know more about you?
- 34:14Speaker 2: So my website is just-be-true. Just Be True, the little
- 34:21Speaker 2: story behind Just Be True. When I was in my
- 34:24Speaker 2: awakening discovery process, I kept hearing, just be true to you.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Just be true. Just be true. When I started to
- 34:33Speaker 2: open a business, the only name that came to me
- 34:37Speaker 2: was just be true. Me and my friend that passed, Monica,
- 34:40Speaker 2: opened up the business together. And then she passed. I
- 34:45Speaker 2: shut everything down. I opened back up a couple of
- 34:47Speaker 2: years ago and tried to think of another name because
- 34:53Speaker 2: that was a part of her and I, but also
- 34:56Speaker 2: a big part of me. Literally, this is it. Nothing
- 35:00Speaker 2: else came to me. I'm taking it to the grave, right?
- 35:04Speaker 2: Just dash B-E, that's true. That's my website. You can
- 35:08Speaker 2: find my scheduling rates, my blog, my own podcast, Just
- 35:12Speaker 2: Be True, a solo podcast. Information on that is there
- 35:16Speaker 2: as well. On Facebook, Just Be True. My podcast is
- 35:20Speaker 2: on YouTube, Apple, Spotify, and a whole bunch of others.
- 35:24Speaker 2: It was a real pleasure. I wish you all the
- 35:26Speaker 2: best with your business.
- 35:27Speaker 1: And if Summer feels like the right person to meet
- 35:31Speaker 1: with and get some healing through and some beautiful messages,
- 35:34Speaker 1: please contact her at just-be-true.com.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you guys.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Take care, everybody.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Thank you so much for being with us today. If
- 35:46Speaker 1: you'd like support as you continue your own exploring, you
- 35:50Speaker 1: can find information about my classes, readings, and other offerings
- 35:53Speaker 1: at connectingwithnoelle.com. If conversation made you think of someone, I'd
- 35:58Speaker 1: love it if you would share this with them.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Take good care. I look forward to being with you
- 36:03Speaker 2: again soon.
