Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: So if you want to feed a big old family,
- 0:02Speaker 1: like up to 10 people for Thanksgiving, you can do
- 0:04Speaker 1: it for 39 bucks apparently. And that's all I know.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Where do I go?
- 0:08Speaker 2: You go to Aldi's.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Okay. So they're talking about this right now. They have
- 0:12Speaker 2: a 16 pound turkey for you. Six sides like stuffing,
- 0:17Speaker 2: sweet potatoes and dinner rolls. Pumpkin pie ingredients available. All
- 0:21Speaker 2: for under $ 39. Now, this is not a commercial, by
- 0:24Speaker 2: the way.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Right. This is just such a good price. It's kind
- 0:27Speaker 1: of making news.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I feel like they did something similar last year, too.
- 0:31Speaker 2: And they said they want to make it easy for
- 0:33Speaker 2: you when you go to the store. They just announced this.
- 0:36Speaker 2: It's their Thanksgiving meal deal. And they will have a
- 0:40Speaker 2: turkey logo on the shelves, like, to make it easy. Okay. Like, oh, here,
- 0:44Speaker 2: you need this, you need this, you need that. So
- 0:46Speaker 2: you get your turkey, stuffing, you get a veggie tray.
- 0:50Speaker 2: With peeled baby carrots and celery, cranberries, sweet potatoes.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Wait, this is all included in that $ 39?
- 0:56Speaker 2: Yep. Love and fresh Hawaiian sweet rolls. You have frozen peas,
- 1:02Speaker 2: baker's corner pumpkin pie mix. And they give you a
- 1:06Speaker 2: pumpkin pie crust that you can buy. Friendly Farms whole
- 1:09Speaker 2: milk and Friendly Farms whipping cream. And that's how you
- 1:12Speaker 2: put it all together. And they said that Thanksgiving shouldn't
- 1:16Speaker 2: require a calculator or coupon strategy. Aldi just wants to
- 1:19Speaker 2: make it easy for you.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Look, we'll probably do this topic in about a month
- 1:22Speaker 1: right before Thanksgiving, but I'm thinking about it now because
- 1:24Speaker 1: you're talking about this. When it comes to all the
- 1:26Speaker 1: food that comes with Thanksgiving, what's the one you just
- 1:30Speaker 1: are not into?
- 1:31Speaker 2: Oh, that I'm not into?
- 1:32Speaker 1: Not into. Like meat, cranberries. I don't know why the cranberries.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Oh, I like it.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I'm not a big fan.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I still like the- I want my turkey.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I want my stuffing.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Cranberry sauce from the can. It's got to be the bloop.
- 1:44Speaker 2: It's got to plop out of the can and you
- 1:47Speaker 2: slice it up. I'm not like really big into sweet potatoes.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Like some people do sweet potatoes with like marshmallows that like,
- 1:53Speaker 2: that's not my thing.
- 1:54Speaker 1: You could take it or leave it.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Or just leave it.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Just leave it.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Just leave it. Yeah. Like save room for the stuffing.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Oh, see, that's the thing, man. Yeah. I could eat
- 2:02Speaker 1: stuff in nonstop.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I think we all could.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I know. It's so good.
- 2:07Speaker 2: But we're balancing out with the protein of the turkey,
- 2:09Speaker 2: so it's okay.
- 2:10Speaker 1: All right. That's coming up. I got to tell you,
- 2:12Speaker 1: it's just flying by here.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Going to get through Halloween. Well, this goes on sale
- 2:15Speaker 2: November 4th, by the way, at Aldi's.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Oh, so we have some time.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay.
- 2:18Speaker 1: So after all the Halloween candy's gone, then you stock
- 2:20Speaker 1: up for Thanksgiving. Move on.
