shooters, whether it be AAA, whether it be Indy, what their

Extraction shooters are a little bit different in that you are

able to, in pretty much every single one of them, prepare

before you go out and then you have to extract after the fact.

So it's a little different now. Tarkov was probably the first

gifted me a copy and I remember playing it and going, wow, this

it never really got me. Like there was maybe a small

still just did not like the inherent difficulty like of it.

raid to like get all of my gear out, sort my gear, gear up

both those types of memories, but also good ones when it came

Us Part 2 where you have like just a lot of enemies to fight.

you have one gun that's got like 10 bullets and there's like 3 or

Like it's like just that sort of intense, like moment to moment

gameplay that really matters and like how you decide what to do,

little attention to detail that that I noticed.

someone, the way they're moving is how they will like there's an

animation for that. It's not a static animation like

an COD, for instance, where you down someone and everybody falls

fighting each other and he's running, you know, to my right

and I shoot him and he jumps at the moment I shoot him and he

goes down, he's going to like tumble a little bit.

It's going to have a bit more of a difference than if I were to

And that's what I mean. And that it adds to the

pretty close to that. And with that you have moments

that feel so much better and more cinematic and more like

story heavy like it. It feels like something where

you go out into a raid in Arc Raiders and you get back down

and it it looks like one of those raids where you're going

the bar and have a beer and tell everybody the story, you know,

because it was just so intense or so incredible, Like look what

other extra action shooter like Tarkov had those raids where it

was like really fun and you get at the end of your like out of

breath and you're like, wow, that was crazy.

We got in so many gunfights. I can't believe we made it out.

I have so much loot and that feeling and like when I got

that, Matt was like, you feel that now you're hooked.

And it's like that's absolutely true.

And Ark has kind of done that in every raid for me where even if

I leave with nothing but I escape and I live.

That felt fun like. Rewards the players in ways

because there are moments that feel you sit there and go.

of these things are, like we had a hopper at one point chase us

Like I saw a clip when the tech test was going on of a group of

And a leaper followed them in there and they're running,

they're running through this like big tunnel as it's like

And you can hear it like pounding behind them and they

get to like a ladder and they start crawling up it.

And as the last guy's crawling up it, you see the leaper like

dive at him and just barely mess.

And it's like that looks like something you would see in a

movie of some sort. But it's not.

It's just this is what happened. They they like, that's what I

like about it, is that it kind of encourage you to just think
