- 0:00Speaker 1: They'll Mark Simon Show live from the w R lifeback studios.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hey, what takes me calls eight hundred three to two,
- 0:09Speaker 2: one zero seven, tens and number. Let's go to John
- 0:13Speaker 2: and Florida. John, how you doing?
- 0:16Speaker 1: Mark?
- 0:16Speaker 3: How come to the Supreme Quarters not stepping in internal
- 0:19Speaker 3: the states and cities and governors and may there's no
- 0:22Speaker 3: thing of sanctuary city.
- 0:24Speaker 4: They have to follow the constitutions. We're not any of
- 0:26Speaker 4: these rocks.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Well, you know, they go back and forth, they find
- 0:31Speaker 2: out in the end, Yes, you're right, federal law supersedes
- 0:35Speaker 2: local law. There actually is no such thing as a
- 0:37Speaker 2: sanctuary city. You can declare yourself that. It just means
- 0:41Speaker 2: that the locals, which they control local law enforcement, will
- 0:44Speaker 2: do nothing to look the other way. But the Feds
- 0:47Speaker 2: again can come in and do what they have to do.
- 0:49Speaker 2: And that's what's going to happen here. Federal law always
- 0:53Speaker 2: supersedes local law. Let's go to Joe in Westchester. Joe,
- 0:57Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 0:59Speaker 4: Good morning, Morre, how are you good. I've enjoyed your
- 1:02Speaker 4: sister wn W days and for the most part, appreciate
- 1:06Speaker 4: your view of the world. But they thought a simple
- 1:09Speaker 4: comment that drag Any Luigi Mangeoli's sister into this and
- 1:14Speaker 4: kayed to her in some way which he just got
- 1:17Speaker 4: a nice job in. Jos Hopkins was a bit distasteful.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Well, every time, we'd like to have a very very
- 1:25Speaker 2: somber serious guy like you call up and rain all
- 1:28Speaker 2: over our parade. Thank you, way too serious. List enough,
- 1:35Speaker 2: Let's go to uh uh, Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike,
- 1:39Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 1:40Speaker 3: Good morning?
- 1:41Speaker 4: Mark? I have Mark.
- 1:42Speaker 2: I don't appreciate you laughing like that. This is very serious. Sorry,
- 1:49Speaker 2: Joe from West you should you should team up with
- 1:51Speaker 2: Scott Pelley. You two can go around scolding everybody.
- 1:56Speaker 3: That's right, you've made it. You're really killing it today
- 1:59Speaker 3: in the show. It's unbelievable how many points that I
- 2:02Speaker 3: totallymitten down with. One is the soccer watch parties. Have
- 2:06Speaker 3: they never heard of soccer riots, which are like a
- 2:08Speaker 3: worldwide phenomenon. I mean there have been wars for it
- 2:11Speaker 3: over soccer games in the past. And the other one
- 2:14Speaker 3: is the Knick's court side seats. You know who, I
- 2:17Speaker 3: didn't see you're sitting in any of those very expensive
- 2:19Speaker 3: seats still el aliens.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Yeah, well yeah, that's true. Hey, every time they show
- 2:26Speaker 2: where Trump is sitting with Dolan. It looks so beautiful, luxurious.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You see that, it's the most beautiful, like leather reclinery.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Sitting in your courtside, you're sitting on a folding chair.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you want to go sit in the box there,
- 2:38Speaker 2: sit in a luxury suite much.
- 2:40Speaker 3: The box is so does food right outside, there's catering.
- 2:43Speaker 3: I mean, I've sat in boxes in other stadiums in
- 2:47Speaker 3: New York. You never want to, you know, you could
- 2:50Speaker 3: live there. They're phenomenal. It's it's so luxurious. I don't
- 2:53Speaker 3: know why you would want to sit getting sweated on no.
- 2:56Speaker 2: And it's you ever go to the Yankee game and
- 2:57Speaker 2: sit in the front row on the first baseline. You
- 3:00Speaker 2: think that's the greatest seat there is. It's horrible. It's
- 3:03Speaker 2: scary because you can't take your eye off the ball
- 3:05Speaker 2: the whole game. You have to keep watching because you
- 3:07Speaker 2: could get killed if the foul balls coming at you.
- 3:10Speaker 2: You're like right there.
- 3:11Speaker 3: And not only that, and not only that, but once
- 3:13Speaker 3: the guy stands up in the back and on on
- 3:15Speaker 3: deck circle, you can't see anything.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Yeah, now sit back, Hey, the owner can have a
- 3:22Speaker 2: seat anywhere he wants you. Notice he always sits up
- 3:24Speaker 2: in that box. You never see the owner sitting in
- 3:26Speaker 2: one of those folding chairs in the front. All right,
- 3:29Speaker 2: thanks for colling. Let's go to Marco in the Bronx. Marco,
- 3:32Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Hey, Mark, thanks for taking the call. Everybody's talking about
- 3:38Speaker 1: Spike Lee and wearing a jersey for the Knicks. Did
- 3:41Speaker 1: you see what it had written on it? No, it
- 3:45Speaker 1: had pulpe leo forty two for the forty second pulp
- 3:50Speaker 1: You know why?
- 3:51Speaker 4: Right?
- 3:51Speaker 1: Well, Hope is not coming to New York because of
- 3:55Speaker 1: Trump saying that the you know, the immigrants all what
- 4:00Speaker 1: we do? You know? So he wore that jersey. How ridiculous,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and nobody's saying anything about it. Well, we know how
- 4:07Speaker 1: Spike Lee is.
- 4:09Speaker 2: He's a nice guy, kind of goofy. But listen, when
- 4:11Speaker 2: it comes to major political issues, foreign policy, I don't
- 4:14Speaker 2: usually look to Spike Lee for guidance on any of that,
- 4:18Speaker 2: So don't worry about what he thinks. Let's go to
- 4:22Speaker 2: uh Joe in New Jersey. Joe, how you doing? Wait
- 4:27Speaker 2: a minute, I got to push the button. Joe.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Go ahead, Oh hey, Mark, how you doing? I'm doing great, buddy,
- 4:34Speaker 5: so mark two quick statements and then a question. So
- 4:37Speaker 5: first I ask these.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Guys that call the whole outline of the call. They've
- 4:40Speaker 2: got to laid out. They've got a whole, very structured
- 4:42Speaker 2: program for the call. Yes, okay, go ahead.
- 4:46Speaker 5: I know I speak for your audience right now.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Just you're very lucky. We have to kill about a
- 4:50Speaker 2: minute and a half here.
- 4:51Speaker 5: We love you, We love you so much. I just
- 4:54Speaker 5: you know, conservatives all around that listen to your show
- 4:58Speaker 5: like you're.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Really enough, it's enough butttering up in pream Well, what's.
- 5:01Speaker 5: The I'm sorry man, so so listen. You know, here's
- 5:05Speaker 5: why MAGA and all conservatives can't stand our party. The
- 5:09Speaker 5: Republicans are in a position they have the House, the Congress,
- 5:12Speaker 5: they can get the Save Act passed. I can't think
- 5:15Speaker 5: of a better stake to drive through the heart of
- 5:17Speaker 5: the wicked left than voter integrity, and our party won't
- 5:23Speaker 5: get it. On my question, the Republicans.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Well, I'm not a Republican, I'm not a Democrat. I
- 5:30Speaker 2: can't stand either.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Well, I'm looking at the party that's in power that
- 5:33Speaker 5: we have the best chance to get this stuff passed,
- 5:36Speaker 5: and these fools are in there and they have the
- 5:38Speaker 5: power and they can't get it passed. Get it passed.
- 5:40Speaker 5: It's that important. My question, do you think with Trump's
- 5:44Speaker 5: thirty seven uh, you know backings that he just pulled off,
- 5:50Speaker 5: if let's say most of those guys.
- 5:52Speaker 2: You killed them and that's what we needed. And we've
- 5:55Speaker 2: got to go do the news. But hey, you made
- 5:57Speaker 2: your point. What it is man, We love you, bro,
- 6:01Speaker 2: Thanks for killing some time for it. Thank you. Anyway,
- 6:05Speaker 2: when we come back, Bill O'Reilly will be with us. Hey,
- 6:08Speaker 2: he's always and we'll ask him. We see him sitting
- 6:10Speaker 2: in those seats in the front, those nick seats in
- 6:12Speaker 2: the folding chair. But we'll talk to him about that.
- 6:15Speaker 2: All kinds of things coming up next on seven to
- 6:17Speaker 2: ten wor
