  Speaker 6: Was as a friend of the show is the fact

  Speaker 6: that I never picked a side. I tried to give

  Speaker 6: that although I am in a friend space, those ladies

  Speaker 4: Me so much respect they did. They get mad when

  Speaker 4: I even say I'm a friend of the show. They're like, no, Cynthia.

  Speaker 6: You know you're just really nice and it's you're Cynthia.

  Speaker 6: So I love being seen and just being given that respect.

  Speaker 6: That that meant the world to me, to be honest, well,

  Speaker 6: that respect was earned.

  Speaker 1: Of the newbies, who would you think you were the

  Speaker 1: closest with, because I think all the girls did a

  Speaker 6: Of the newbies, I talked to all of the ladies,

  Speaker 6: the newbies on and off camera. I had my own

  Speaker 6: little relationship with them because I was kind of the

  Speaker 6: safe space to call off camera if someone was freaking

  Speaker 6: out to just say, hey, how do I navigate this?

  Speaker 6: You know, what's your opinion? Because they know that I've

  Speaker 6: been through through it all. So I will say that

  Speaker 6: I was very instrumental and making sure that Angela Oakley

  Speaker 6: stayed in place. Yeah, okay, she was very upset after
• 8:33
  Speaker 6: the Nashville trip about the whole husband thing, and yes,
• 8:39
  Speaker 6: so she was very upset about that, and she was
• 8:42
  Speaker 6: struggling after that. And I did have a conversation with
• 8:46
  Speaker 6: her on camera and off camera, just giving her some
• 8:50
  Speaker 6: encouragement to just trust the process and just stand in
• 8:55
  Speaker 6: her truth and just be great. And that's exactly what
• 8:57
  Speaker 6: she did, and it ended up although she was a
• 8:59
  Speaker 6: little bit of a slow burn in the beginning, that

  Speaker 6: really activated her and I felt like, you know, she
• 9:05
  Speaker 6: you know, she distrusted my advice because obviously I just

  Speaker 6: gave her the you know, the honest advice that I
• 9:11
  Speaker 6: could give her, and she.

  Speaker 4: Ended up being one of the fan favorites, if not the.

  Speaker 3: Fan favorite of she she became one of our favorites

  Speaker 3: as well.

  Speaker 2: You know that at the very beginning, where like with

  Speaker 2: her husband, were like, ah, man, this.

  Speaker 3: Is a little uncomfortable.

  Speaker 2: But I feel like to you know, him being at

  Speaker 2: the reunion and you saw them dancing in the hallway

  Speaker 2: and you saw a different side of him, and I

  Speaker 2: just love their dynamic.

  Speaker 6: I did, too, know that how you start is maybe

  Speaker 6: not how you finished.

  Speaker 2: No, especially with the men, because you know what, not

  Speaker 2: all men are comfortable being on these shows.

  Speaker 1: And he's you would expect him, he's he's no, not shy,

  Speaker 1: and no stranger to the limelight. But I think maybe

  Speaker 1: him being a struggle and being out of it for

  Speaker 1: so long and then to come back into it and

  Speaker 1: get around a bunch of women is a little rough,

  Speaker 1: especially when they're gonna becoming free.

  Speaker 3: Well, especially this platform.

  Speaker 6: This is what's freaky with reality TV because I went

  Speaker 6: through this a little bit with my ex Peter. When

  Speaker 6: we first came on a lot of people thought that

  Speaker 6: he wasn't super warm and fuzzy with me. So, you know,
• 10:20
  Speaker 6: on a show like this, I love when you're just
• 10:24
  Speaker 6: who you really are. And I feel like Charles was
• 10:27
  Speaker 6: very authentic to you know, who he is, and I
• 10:30
  Speaker 6: think that's why the fans ended up resonating with him.

  Speaker 6: And you know, the beginning, it's like you can't come
• 10:35
  Speaker 6: on and like, you know, I don't like when people

  Speaker 6: put on for the cameras and be like, oh, let

  Speaker 6: me just act super nice in the scene. Like if

  Speaker 6: you like how you are in your house, is how

  Speaker 6: you should be on these cameras because someone will relate

  Speaker 6: to you and it is what it is.

  Speaker 6: Well, of course, you know, we filmed together and I

  Speaker 5: I think everyone seemed to be, but we don't know.

  Speaker 6: like things were starting to turn a little bit for

  Speaker 6: brit towards the end. Fans were starting to, you know,

  Speaker 6: resonate with her a little bit more, and you know,

  Speaker 6: a lot of the things that happened season sixteen, you know,

  Speaker 6: she was involved in different ways, So I felt like

  Speaker 6: she was a We probably would have gotten four reunions

  Speaker 6: had she been there because she had a lot, you know,

  Speaker 6: that was her opportunity to say what she needed to say.

  Speaker 2: I just didn't understand why she didn't show up, and

  Speaker 2: it's like nothing happened that was so horrible that, like

  Speaker 4: Well, you guys know we watched those episodes before we

  Speaker 6: Yeah, I've watched the episodes and I was like, I

  Speaker 4: I feel like the worst was had already.

  Speaker 2: The only thing that I can think of is somebody

  Speaker 2: rumors out there, don't know if they're true that she

  Speaker 6: That she could maybe about a lawsuit until after the

  Speaker 6: whole after she didn't show up.

  Speaker 4: That's the only time I started hearing about a lawsuit

  Speaker 4: and never anything about it before.

  Speaker 1: Okay, well, let's let me think though about she was

  Speaker 1: a good housewife, but I don't think it would have

  Speaker 1: been good for her in the end. I think she

  Speaker 1: she's too messy. I think she's too nasty all the time,

  Speaker 1: He's a great housewife at her own expense. But we

  Speaker 6: Right. Well, here's the thing. I think first season is

  Speaker 6: very difficult for everyone. I really don't think it's anyone

  Speaker 6: has like an amazing great like flawless first season.

  Speaker 4: I wish she had stayed too.

  Speaker 6: Just what a second season would have looked like, Yeah,

  Speaker 6: like in my first season, I'm like, we were losing

  Speaker 6: our asses. It was like drama all the time between

  Speaker 6: you know, myself and my eggs, and it was a

  Speaker 6: lot going on. And when I look back, I thought

  Speaker 6: I looked completely insane my first season. But you know,

  Speaker 6: second season happened, Third season happened, and then you know

  Speaker 6: I was able, you know, to just figure it out.

  Speaker 2: So yeah, it made me really sad to see the

  Speaker 2: demise of Portia and Shamia Cool.

  Speaker 3: I love them both so much.

  Speaker 2: And you know, they're so good together, and they've been
• 13:45
  Speaker 2: friends for so long. And sometimes when friends like that

  Speaker 2: calm on a show like this, it screws things up.

  Speaker 2: And Dolores can speak for this, because you know your

  Speaker 2: show delores family in front.

  Speaker 3: When you have that much drama in a show, it

  Speaker 3: really destroys.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, families and friends like this. Do you think they're

  Speaker 2: able to move forward?

  Speaker 4: I hope, so, I really hope. So. I think they

  Speaker 4: need to take a beat.

  Speaker 6: To be honest, Sometimes I think a little bit of

  Speaker 6: time and space is always good for the healing process.

  Speaker 1: Time hills, Yeah, you know it, it's different.

  Speaker 6: You know, I've had my ups and downs and with

  Speaker 6: friendships on the show as well. But I've never you know,

  Speaker 6: my mom was investies with any of the ladies that
• 14:31
  Speaker 6: I was best friends with all the show. So I

  Speaker 6: think some of the issues go a little deeper than
• 14:37
  Speaker 6: are bigger than ports and Shamia, And I think that's
• 14:39
  Speaker 6: when it becomes really personal. And I think that's when
• 14:43
  Speaker 6: you know, you have to defend your mom, no, any
• 14:50
  Speaker 6: of that. So that makes it really slippery to me.

  Speaker 2: Well, I want to see the moms and the daughters sit.

  Speaker 5: Down, Sam, that's a good one, and that's.

  Speaker 3: That would beautiful, That would be beautiful.

  Speaker 6: I've had the pleasure of meeting both of their moms

  Speaker 6: and being around both of them, and they are amazing, beautifulful,

  Speaker 6: strong women who have.

  Speaker 5: Raised these gorgeous look at them, right.

  Speaker 6: And but you know, in a lot of ways, I

  Speaker 6: said this in another interview. You know, Porsha and Shim

  Speaker 6: kind of inherited each other a little bit. It's not

  Speaker 6: like they were like playing the playground and decided to
• 15:26
  Speaker 6: be friends. They became friends through their moms.

  Speaker 3: Oh I'm not.

  Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, it's like, you know, your mom's like

  Speaker 6: I'm going over to my friend Diane's house, you're coming

  Speaker 6: with me, and then you play with her kid, and

  Speaker 5: And then you call each other aunt.

  Speaker 3: And that is a long, a long time, a lot.

  Speaker 6: Of layers to this, so which is why you know,

  Speaker 6: we have to just give them a little time and grace.

  Speaker 6: But I think, and I will always say this, real

  Speaker 6: true friendships find their way back.

  Speaker 5: It makes me true real true ones on both ends.

  Speaker 1: It takes two people to really be real friends. But

  Speaker 5: Like, we don't, We're really we're not. I don't believe that,
