- 1:03Speaker 4: El Trompito endorsed the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for
- 1:09Speaker 4: the Big Senate race, the big runoff that was going on,
- 1:12Speaker 4: and lo and behold, El Trompeito got it right. He won.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Matter of fact, he's four for four. Everybody that he
- 1:20Speaker 4: chose happened to win. He's got an incredible record of
- 1:24Speaker 4: victory with this stuff. This twenty twenty sixth season, he
- 1:28Speaker 4: is killing the game. But I've got a clip from
- 1:32Speaker 4: the CNN data scientist Harry Enton that I think sums
- 1:35Speaker 4: it up well. I'm going to play it in a moment,
- 1:36Speaker 4: and then in a little bit we're gonna hear from
- 1:40Speaker 4: our own chief data scientist here at the Rich Veldes Show.
- 1:44Speaker 4: This is America. His name John McLaughlin. Polster to President Trump,
- 1:48Speaker 4: Polster to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and so many others.
- 1:51Speaker 4: John McLaughlin will be joining us to discuss exactly what
- 1:56Speaker 4: happened to give us a post mortem on this action
- 2:00Speaker 4: that occurred last night in Texas. Do you runoff? But
- 2:03Speaker 4: there's a bunch I want to get into, right, because
- 2:05Speaker 4: there's really a bunch of things every day, there's a
- 2:06Speaker 4: few different moving parts. Right, We're going to get into Texas.
- 2:09Speaker 4: We're going to get into Trump's record on this. Plus
- 2:12Speaker 4: there is a new test for marijuana and in five
- 2:15Speaker 4: or six other drugs. It's a saliva swab, and the
- 2:18Speaker 4: cops can do it right there on the side of
- 2:20Speaker 4: the road and they'll know in a minute. First those
- 2:23Speaker 4: five minutes now they're saying they could do it in
- 2:25Speaker 4: a minute. They'll know if you are high as a kite,
- 2:28Speaker 4: if you are stoned and behind the wheel. Watch out.
- 2:30Speaker 4: We're going to get into that in about twenty or
- 2:32Speaker 4: twenty five minutes, So you got to stick with me
- 2:34Speaker 4: for that one. Plus we're going to get into open
- 2:36Speaker 4: phone America. Open phones across America is one of my
- 2:39Speaker 4: favorite things to do on this program. So if you
- 2:42Speaker 4: want to sound off and have your opinion heard, you
- 2:45Speaker 4: know what to do. Call the number eight seven seven
- 2:48Speaker 4: Valdes one, leave a voice note. We will put it
- 2:53Speaker 4: into the show and you will have your voice heard.
- 2:55Speaker 4: And we're going to do that. And this new police
- 2:59Speaker 4: wrote side drug test saliva swab. We're gonna be talking
- 3:03Speaker 4: about that, Like I said, about twenty five minutes or so,
- 3:05Speaker 4: maybe a half hour. But first I want to get
- 3:09Speaker 4: into the big win in Texas because everybody was confused, right,
- 3:15Speaker 4: and I gotta tell you I wasn't so confused. I
- 3:18Speaker 4: felt that Trump had this, and I think I said
- 3:22Speaker 4: that on previous episodes. If you're listening every day, you
- 3:25Speaker 4: know exactly what I'm talking about. Trump is doing his thing.
- 3:28Speaker 4: If you're talking about a Republican primary, the last guy
- 3:32Speaker 4: I want to run against is Donald Trump. This guy
- 3:34Speaker 4: knows how to win. This guy knows how to fill
- 3:36Speaker 4: stadium after stadium after stadium. Everybody and their mama is
- 3:41Speaker 4: trying to get his endorsement. So when I heard that
- 3:44Speaker 4: Senator John Cornyn, who I am no fan of, was
- 3:48Speaker 4: given the opportunity by Attorney General Paxton when he said, listen,
- 3:54Speaker 4: I will go ahead and drop out of this. If
- 4:01Speaker 4: Senator Cornin signs the Save Act, which provides requirements for
- 4:07Speaker 4: id when voting, imagine that he would have guaranteed won
- 4:12Speaker 4: the election. All he had to do was agree to
- 4:14Speaker 4: vote for this thing. But nope, he didn't do it,
- 4:17Speaker 4: and he's out. Like Trump says in the rallies, get
- 4:20Speaker 4: him out, get him at anyway. CNN data scientist Harry Enton,
- 4:25Speaker 4: who again big left wing network, but when it comes
- 4:29Speaker 4: to breaking down the numbers, he's pretty good at it.
- 4:30Speaker 4: And I think he's a closet fan of Donald Trump's
- 4:34Speaker 4: my opinion, listened to this of.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Course before, of course the endorsement came down. But look
- 4:39Speaker 5: at this, fifty five percent of Texas Republicans said they
- 4:42Speaker 5: would be more likely to vote for the candidate that
- 4:44Speaker 5: he endorsed, versus just thirty six percent who said no impact.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Just nine percent said that that'd be less likely to
- 4:50Speaker 5: vote for the candidate endorse The bottom line is this
- 4:53Speaker 5: what Donald Trump wants, he almost always gets in Republican
- 4:57Speaker 5: primaries because when you see numbers like this, fifty five
- 5:00Speaker 5: percent of Republicans in Texas say they're going to be
- 5:02Speaker 5: more likely to vote for whoever he endorses, and that
- 5:04Speaker 5: of course being kem Pax and it's no one of
- 5:05Speaker 5: the President's so confident.
- 5:06Speaker 6: Well, we're seeing this over and over and over again
- 5:09Speaker 6: in primaries. Even though people look and go, well, his approvalatings,
- 5:11Speaker 6: it doesn't matter to those who are the core voters
- 5:15Speaker 6: who are maga all the way. You're seeing it play
- 5:17Speaker 6: out again and again. Where do the prediction markets put
- 5:20Speaker 6: the Texas Senate runoff post Trump endorsement?
- 5:24Speaker 5: Yeah, you see this fifty five percent right there, and
- 5:27Speaker 5: then it is no wonder in the caucure prediction market.
- 5:31Speaker 4: All right, what's going on here? Is this the deep state?
- 5:34Speaker 4: Talk to me?
- 5:39Speaker 5: I mean you could just see the movement towards Ken
- 5:41Speaker 5: ranks and look at this, A Monday had a sixty
- 5:43Speaker 5: six percent chance of winning. Up like a rocket, right
- 5:46Speaker 5: up like a rocket, ninety five percent, Houston. If you are,
- 5:50Speaker 5: in fact John Cornyn, you have a big problem. But
- 5:53Speaker 5: if you're KEM Pax and you have a big time solution.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Two thumbs up, as the President likes to say, right now,
- 5:59Speaker 5: the causure prediction market giving two thumbs up to the
- 6:01Speaker 5: idea that Ken Paxton is in fact.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Going to be the Republican nominee. This prediction market, so
- 6:07Speaker 4: we'll pause that there. I spoke with Ken Paxton, I'd
- 6:12Speaker 4: say about two months ago. I think it was end
- 6:14Speaker 4: of March. I was in Houston, No, Dallas, I think
- 6:20Speaker 4: I was in Dallas, Texas at the Sea Pack in
- 6:23Speaker 4: Dallas in Grapevine, Texas, and had a conversation with him
- 6:27Speaker 4: and my fellow liberty loving Latino Chris Salcedo. And the
- 6:32Speaker 4: enthusiasm that Ken Paxton had was great. I mean, he
- 6:36Speaker 4: was well received in the conference. The strawhole at the
- 6:39Speaker 4: conference had him winning by sixty two or sixty three
- 6:43Speaker 4: percent of the vote. Guess what he won by sixty
- 6:47Speaker 4: three percent of the vote to Cornin's thirty seven percent
- 6:50Speaker 4: of the vote. I think they call that where I
- 6:52Speaker 4: come from a trouncing. Actually, where I come from, we
- 6:55Speaker 4: don't use the word trouncing, but I do believe that's
- 6:57Speaker 4: what it's called. And let me tell you, this was
- 7:00Speaker 4: a big electoral win, zero doubt in the mind. Now,
- 7:04Speaker 4: this brings me back to a couple of weeks ago,
- 7:06Speaker 4: and I shared this with you already, but I'm just
- 7:08Speaker 4: gonna add to it. I was with a group of
- 7:12Speaker 4: people in Puerto Rico at a great networking event following
- 7:17Speaker 4: the Seapac Puerto Rico or I guess the second day
- 7:19Speaker 4: of Seapac Puerto Rico, just a few days back, and
- 7:22Speaker 4: we could go too right, And there's a young man
- 7:26Speaker 4: there who's actively involved in politics in DC, and he
- 7:32Speaker 4: was kind of like, look, I like Trump. I'm maga,
- 7:36Speaker 4: but I like Rand Paul, I like Thomas Massey, I
- 7:41Speaker 4: like Tucker Carlson. I like that anti establishment part of
- 7:47Speaker 4: this movement because those are the things I believe in.
- 7:51Speaker 4: I believe that, you know, we shouldn't have forever wars,
- 7:53Speaker 4: and we shouldn't do this, and we shouldn't do that,
- 7:55Speaker 4: you know, usual stuff that you that populist wing of
- 8:01Speaker 4: the party talks about. And I said, well, I can
- 8:06Speaker 4: tell you right now. Well no, He actually turned to
- 8:08Speaker 4: me and he said, and you used to work for
- 8:11Speaker 4: Mark Levin, so is it safe to say that you
- 8:13Speaker 4: agree with all that stuff? And I laughed and said yes,
- 8:18Speaker 4: if by all that stuff you mean I support Israel. Sure,
- 8:21Speaker 4: And he didn't say anything that he was pro er against.
- 8:26Speaker 4: But what was interesting was that seems to be the
- 8:30Speaker 4: defining issue these days, and for that group right, it's like,
- 8:34Speaker 4: we don't want forever worse because they are truly cut
- 8:36Speaker 4: from the Bernie Sanders cloth. Why they ended up with Trump,
- 8:40Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know what brings you over
- 8:42Speaker 4: to the conservative side, but I understand that you have
- 8:45Speaker 4: conservative leaning populists and you have liberal or progressive leaning populists.
- 8:52Speaker 4: But ultimately their anti establishment agenda is not like my
- 8:57Speaker 4: anti establishment agenda, where I'm all for dismantling the government
- 9:01Speaker 4: and I'm not here to be mad at anybody. I'm
- 9:04Speaker 4: just saying leave me alone. But I understand when we
- 9:07Speaker 4: have to do things right when you got a flex.
- 9:09Speaker 4: When Marco Rubio says, the straight of hor Moves is
- 9:11Speaker 4: going to be opened up one way or the other,
- 9:15Speaker 4: we're going to get to this. Whether it's true diplomacy
- 9:18Speaker 4: or through brute strength, we're going to end this war.
- 9:22Speaker 4: I believe him because he's he's giving all the options,
- 9:27Speaker 4: giving every opportunity. And that's what Trump does every single time,
- 9:32Speaker 4: whether it looks like that or not, when he's out
- 9:35Speaker 4: there saying, come on, senator, going and past the save Act,
- 9:38Speaker 4: come on Thomas Massy.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Oh he's the worst.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Oh he's He's giving him a chance for him to
- 9:43Speaker 4: turn it around. Instead, Massey wants to make his phone
- 9:46Speaker 4: calls whenever he did the other day, and we talked
- 9:48Speaker 4: about that already. But when he said, I tried to
- 9:51Speaker 4: call my opponent, mister Gollrain, but you know he was
- 9:55Speaker 4: busy in Tel Aviv or something like that, right again
- 9:58Speaker 4: saying that this guy is a an op detive of
- 10:00Speaker 4: the Jews or of Israel, the Israel lobby and again
- 10:04Speaker 4: sore loser move right, but he wants to stay on
- 10:07Speaker 4: that that that pedestal that he's gotten for himself. Guy
- 10:12Speaker 4: did fourteen years in Congress and only took him five minutes.
- 10:15Speaker 4: I'll go with fourteen minutes of going against the strongest
- 10:19Speaker 4: Republican in the Republican Party, the leader of the Republican Party.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Done all this, magnus Et Trompzo, and now he's out.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Get him out, folks, Get him out. So the bottom
- 10:29Speaker 4: line here is Trump has an amazing record in this
- 10:33Speaker 4: twenty twenty six primary season. He hasn't missed the beat.
- 10:37Speaker 4: He hasn't missed the beat. Listen to this. One hundred
- 10:40Speaker 4: and eighteen candidates, every single one of them undefeated in
- 10:44Speaker 4: twenty twenty six primaries so far. This is in the
- 10:49Speaker 4: post millennial right and Fox News. All right, let's see here.
- 10:54Speaker 4: First of all, he's got one hundred and one candidates
- 10:56Speaker 4: for the United States House of Representative one and one
- 11:00Speaker 4: that he endorsed, one hundred and one that were elected
- 11:03Speaker 4: and won their races. Eight candidates for governor, eight candidates endorsed,
- 11:09Speaker 4: Eight candidates won their elections. United States Senate nine candidates
- 11:14Speaker 4: were endorsed, nine candidates won their elections. Pretty remarkable stuff, right,
- 11:22Speaker 4: This is not just about Ken Paxton. To me, this
- 11:25Speaker 4: is really the big deal here is Donald Trump. And
- 11:28Speaker 4: this is not me fan girling over Trump. This is
- 11:31Speaker 4: me just really drawing attention to the fact that they're
- 11:34Speaker 4: winning off of his cot tails. They're winning off of
- 11:36Speaker 4: the movement, the vision that he's created, the excitement that
- 11:39Speaker 4: he's created, the fact that he says, I'm coming to
- 11:41Speaker 4: New York. And you know, like I said a couple
- 11:42Speaker 4: of days ago, was in the event with the President,
- 11:46Speaker 4: and the energy in that room was I mean, it
- 11:49Speaker 4: was amazing. People love President Trump as much as they
- 11:53Speaker 4: hate him. I guess I think it's even more so
- 11:56Speaker 4: they love them. Really is wild. But these candidates just
- 12:00Speaker 4: keep winning. And let me see if there's another piece
- 12:03Speaker 4: of this I wanted to share with you, because he's
- 12:05Speaker 4: got a pretty good record here. Let me see there
- 12:09Speaker 4: was something else I wanted to share from this particular article.
- 12:12Speaker 4: But anyway, bottom line is Antrompito is crushing it, absolutely
- 12:17Speaker 4: crushing it electorally. And when people say, oh, but what
- 12:20Speaker 4: about this and what about that? I will concede one point.
- 12:24Speaker 4: The price of beef is too high and gas prices
- 12:27Speaker 4: need to come down. Gas prices he can do like
- 12:29Speaker 4: every president before him and release barrels from the strategic reserve.
- 12:36Speaker 4: But guess what may not need to why we just
- 12:39Speaker 4: saw five percent drop in crude oil crude oil prices.
- 12:42Speaker 4: This is according to CNBC. Now, this is Marco Rubio
- 12:46Speaker 4: saying the US will give Iran every chance to succeed.
- 12:50Speaker 4: We just saw five percent dip and oil prices. Secretary
- 12:54Speaker 4: of State Rubio said talks with Iran have made some
- 12:56Speaker 4: progress and the US will give diplomacy, excuse me to
- 13:00Speaker 4: diplomacy every chance to succeed. However, Rubio said that President
- 13:03Speaker 4: Trump has other options if talks don't work, and a
- 13:06Speaker 4: parent reference to renewed military strikes. And as we know,
- 13:09Speaker 4: just a couple of nights ago, they were stalling and
- 13:12Speaker 4: we hit him on the southern tip of Iran kind
- 13:14Speaker 4: of wake them up, say all right, come on, this
- 13:16Speaker 4: is in a violation of cease fire. This is just
- 13:18Speaker 4: in Spanish. They would say, though they ghetto right, they
- 13:20Speaker 4: hit him with the thought they getto stick. Yeah, the
- 13:22Speaker 4: chill right there stick anyway. Oil prices falling today Wednesday,
- 13:26Speaker 4: after Secretary of Rubio said that we would give this
- 13:29Speaker 4: an opportunity. Barrels of oil were at ninety four dollars
- 13:34Speaker 4: and twenty nine cents closing at eighty eight dollars and
- 13:37Speaker 4: sixty eight cents, a five percent drop. And again this
- 13:41Speaker 4: is part of the cabinet meeting that happened earlier. Marco Rubio,
- 13:46Speaker 4: the Secretary of State, who's doing a bang up job.
- 13:48Speaker 4: By the way, if I could take a minute to
- 13:50Speaker 4: give you a commercial for Mark Rubio. He delivers his
- 13:56Speaker 4: reports in such a succinct way. He's the type guy
- 14:00Speaker 4: that you understand he's not playing right, and he's very
- 14:05Speaker 4: distinct from Trump, very different from Trump. He's just as
- 14:09Speaker 4: direct as Trump, he's probably just as charming, maybe just
- 14:13Speaker 4: about as funny, but there's a different push pull with
- 14:17Speaker 4: him where he's more convincing and he's more magnetic. I
- 14:24Speaker 4: would say, right, I think that's why Trump says, all right,
- 14:26Speaker 4: that's it. You keep doing that, I'm gonna have to
- 14:27Speaker 4: get rid of, right, because at the end of the day,
- 14:30Speaker 4: I think Trump has the bully pulpit that perhaps because
- 14:33Speaker 4: Marco is not president, doesn't have that type of cachet,
- 14:37Speaker 4: but Trump does. And the fact that he's got the
- 14:40Speaker 4: codes and the buttons and this and that, and ultimately
- 14:44Speaker 4: it's this is this is his to lose, right, Trump's
- 14:49Speaker 4: holding all the cards and he's engineered a wonderful, wonderful
- 14:55Speaker 4: chess game here. So anyway, that's the big news on
- 14:58Speaker 4: oil over here and bottom line here. Like Marco Rubio said,
- 15:04Speaker 4: the United States prefers the diplomatic route, and they want
- 15:08Speaker 4: to give diplomacy every chance to succeed. But if the
- 15:10Speaker 4: Iranians want to continue to play their games and say, look,
- 15:13Speaker 4: we're just gonna keep stalling so that we can buy
- 15:17Speaker 4: time so that Trump will be gone, right, all we
- 15:20Speaker 4: gotta do is try and buy some time for a
- 15:22Speaker 4: year or two. Talk about a deal. We'll talk about
- 15:24Speaker 4: a twenty four month deal. How about no pursuit of
- 15:27Speaker 4: nukes while you're here, Trump, how about that? Right? They're
- 15:30Speaker 4: hoping that Trump is going to be he's gonna turn
- 15:32Speaker 4: eighty in a week or two, and that maybe he'll
- 15:35Speaker 4: go away, But as long as he's around, he's gonna
- 15:39Speaker 4: keep killing them every time they mess around. So we're
- 15:43Speaker 4: gonna keep our finger on the pulse of what's going
- 15:45Speaker 4: on internationally. Like I said, straight ahead my conversation with
- 15:51Speaker 4: President Trump's polster John McLaughlin, we're gonna talk about everything
- 15:55Speaker 4: from Tallarico, the gentleman from the left that is running
- 16:00Speaker 4: against Ken Paxton, to everything else that happened in the
- 16:05Speaker 4: last night and the four different elections that occurred in Texas.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Plus I want to get into this conversation on this
- 16:13Speaker 4: new test that's come out. The police in New York
- 16:16Speaker 4: and Long Island are testing it out where they swab
- 16:19Speaker 4: your cheek a little saliva swab, and they'll know if
- 16:22Speaker 4: you have popped a percocet, smoked the blunt whatever. They
- 16:27Speaker 4: will know if you are smoking the reefer. And I
- 16:30Speaker 4: think that's absolutely wild, considering well, considering a lot of things.
- 16:33Speaker 4: We'll get into that when that time comes. Plus open
- 16:36Speaker 4: Phone America, all of that is coming up and more,
- 16:38Speaker 4: don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Childez, this.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Is America, this is America. He's brown, he's bald, and
- 16:58Speaker 1: he's breaking it down.
- 17:00Speaker 4: I still had some what's his pay? Rich Valdas.
- 17:15Speaker 7: So Attorney General Kemp Pax then defeating John Corny in
- 17:18Speaker 7: the Texas primary with the help of President Trump's endorsement.
- 17:22Speaker 8: I trust the voters of Texas and they've made their decision,
- 17:28Speaker 8: and I much respected.
- 17:30Speaker 9: President Trump is the leader of our party and his
- 17:33Speaker 9: endorsement is the most powerful force in politics. Without a
- 17:37Speaker 9: shadow of a doubt. I will be the democrats number
- 17:40Speaker 9: one target November. Texas will be the radical lefts number
- 17:46Speaker 9: one priority. But if there's one thing I know about
- 17:49Speaker 9: Texans is that we're not going to let them take it.
- 17:52Speaker 7: Okay, So Paxton will now face Democrat James Tallerico in November,
- 17:57Speaker 7: who has been facing back last for his far left
- 18:00Speaker 7: US agenda.
- 18:01Speaker 4: All right, I mean, yeah, welcome back as Rich Valdez,
- 18:03Speaker 4: keeping your company, and I want to bring in somebody
- 18:06Speaker 4: who knows this stuff like nobody's business. John McLoughlin Polster too,
- 18:10Speaker 4: bb net and Yahoo. Polster to President Trump, he knows
- 18:14Speaker 4: how to pick a winner. And it looks like President
- 18:16Speaker 4: Trump knows how to pick a winner too, with everybody
- 18:18Speaker 4: that he endorsed in Texas bringing home a victory. John McLoughlin,
- 18:22Speaker 4: Welcome back, Rich, Pleasure be back you bet so. I
- 18:26Speaker 4: want to get into this because you always have a
- 18:27Speaker 4: good way of, you know, understanding the politics of this,
- 18:30Speaker 4: but really breaking down the numbers, right, because that's ultimately
- 18:34Speaker 4: what you and your brother do. You guys are our
- 18:36Speaker 4: numbers guys at McLaughlin and McLachlan Associates, And I think
- 18:42Speaker 4: this is an interesting case.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Now.
- 18:44Speaker 4: You know, we had talked a little bit, and I
- 18:45Speaker 4: was telling you my gut on this was that President
- 18:49Speaker 4: Trump was going to be successful in who he picked.
- 18:52Speaker 4: I also, I was in Texas. I spoke briefly with
- 18:55Speaker 4: Paxton maybe end of March, and he had a lot
- 18:59Speaker 4: of enthusiasm and it seemed like that was where it's
- 19:02Speaker 4: going to be. But I'm very biased, maybe like you,
- 19:04Speaker 4: maybe like others that are watching the show. I've never
- 19:07Speaker 4: liked John Cornyn. I've always thought he was bad, right,
- 19:10Speaker 4: He's always been the problem him, Mitch McConnell. I mean,
- 19:13Speaker 4: there was a whole cadre of these people. So I
- 19:15Speaker 4: think that one by one, you know, making America great
- 19:18Speaker 4: again by eliminating rhinos was a big step in the
- 19:21Speaker 4: right direction. Take it wherever you want to go.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Well, I mean to we were not we were neutral
- 19:28Speaker 3: in this race. We were not involved. We were heavily
- 19:29Speaker 3: involved with the Trump superpack and getting rid of Congress
- 19:33Speaker 3: from Massey in Kentucky a week ago. Because he was not.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Let's unpack that one again, because that was another one
- 19:41Speaker 4: where I was at. This is a very interesting story.
- 19:44Speaker 4: I was in Puerto Rico recently for the Seapack first
- 19:47Speaker 4: ever SEAPAC conference in Puerto Rico, and I was speaking
- 19:50Speaker 4: with some folks there and they were saying, look, I
- 19:52Speaker 4: don't know Thomas Massey really represents what a lot of
- 19:55Speaker 4: us joined MAGA four. You know, no forever wars, no
- 19:59Speaker 4: more spending, this that you know, pushing back. And I said,
- 20:03Speaker 4: I don't know how Maga Massy's messages when he is
- 20:09Speaker 4: going against the President every opportunity he has. So I
- 20:13Speaker 4: guess let's talk about that about the Trump super Pack
- 20:16Speaker 4: and the effort that went in there, because that was
- 20:19Speaker 4: a lot of money spent and a lot of effort.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Well, they couldn't They have a narrow majority of the
- 20:23Speaker 3: House and they couldn't count on them. I mean, when
- 20:26Speaker 3: you talk about the rhetoric, yes, President Trump stands for
- 20:28Speaker 3: all that he's not into Forever awards. But on the
- 20:31Speaker 3: other hand, he told Irain they're not going to have
- 20:34Speaker 3: nuclear weapons when he's president, and they continued to make
- 20:38Speaker 3: I mean Iran. We took a poll last month where
- 20:40Speaker 3: it's on our website mcglocklinline dot com, where sixty one
- 20:45Speaker 3: percent of all voters in the country thinking for Rain
- 20:47Speaker 3: had a nuclear weapon that would use it against the
- 20:50Speaker 3: United States and our allies. Only twenty percent disagree, so
- 20:54Speaker 3: you've got a huge number. Plus. They also think Trump
- 20:57Speaker 3: should finish the job with the ran because they've been
- 20:59Speaker 3: a war with US for forty seven years. So sixty
- 21:02Speaker 3: to thirty people. Americans don't like to go to war,
- 21:05Speaker 3: but if you're going to attack us, we want to
- 21:08Speaker 3: be safe and secure, and that's what the President has
- 21:11Speaker 3: to do. But Thomas Massey last year when President Trump
- 21:15Speaker 3: needed him, not just to vote for the Trump tax cuts,
- 21:18Speaker 3: which were you know, no tax on tips, over time
- 21:21Speaker 3: senior citizens, tautiful, when he needed those tax cuts, which
- 21:27Speaker 3: if they lapsed, you would have had an automatic tax
- 21:30Speaker 3: increase of seventeen yard dollars on every American. The Democrats
- 21:34Speaker 3: wanted those tax cuts to lapse so they could have
- 21:37Speaker 3: a tax increase. Massey wouldn't vote with the Republicans. Massey
- 21:41Speaker 3: didn't vote for the border war, didn't he voted he
- 21:44Speaker 3: voted to allow transgender surgeries. There's a lot of votes
- 21:48Speaker 3: where he wasn't voting with President Trump and the Republicans
- 21:52Speaker 3: on popular issues that are that are core to us.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Granted he would say sure on pro life, on pro
- 21:58Speaker 3: Second Amendment. But you can't bail out on us when
- 22:02Speaker 3: we need your vote to get important legislation passed about
- 22:06Speaker 3: securing the border and building the wall, stopping tax increases,
- 22:10Speaker 3: et cetera. I mean at some point that that libertarian
- 22:15Speaker 3: circle goes full and your voting with the Democrats, your
- 22:17Speaker 3: vote with Schumer, you vote with King Jefferies. So although
- 22:23Speaker 3: he was there for fourteen years and although he did
- 22:25Speaker 3: have a following, you know, President Trump, we won by
- 22:29Speaker 3: ten points, and you know the at gold Ryan will
- 22:32Speaker 3: be the next congressman from Kentucky four. So you had
- 22:34Speaker 3: a similar situation here in Texas where you know, they
- 22:38Speaker 3: both were running about even in the primary.
- 22:42Speaker 4: And before we get to Texas, I just want to
- 22:46Speaker 4: do one follow up with you, because you know, the
- 22:48Speaker 4: conversation I had with the guy in Puerto Rico was
- 22:50Speaker 4: that and I said, I think Trump's going to win.
- 22:52Speaker 4: I'd say that gall Ring was going. I said, I
- 22:54Speaker 4: think Trump is going to win, and he's gonna win
- 22:56Speaker 4: by ten And the guy said, well, ten isn't that
- 22:58Speaker 4: big of a win. I said, I think a double
- 23:00Speaker 4: digit winn it is a huge win. I don't know
- 23:01Speaker 4: what you're talking about, he said, well, if he does win,
- 23:03Speaker 4: it'll be by little And the point I bring this
- 23:05Speaker 4: up is I believe that everything you said made a
- 23:09Speaker 4: lot of sense. I think voters realized we still believe
- 23:13Speaker 4: in the make America Great Again agenda, America First agenda.
- 23:17Speaker 4: We like the big beautiful bill, we like no tax
- 23:19Speaker 4: on tips, we like no tax on overtime. We'd like
- 23:21Speaker 4: it to go even further, and voters didn't want what
- 23:25Speaker 4: Massy was offering. I also think that by and large, when.
- 23:28Speaker 6: You do a.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Survey, and I don't know if you have or haven't,
- 23:32Speaker 4: but to me, it seems that most people don't hate
- 23:35Speaker 4: the Jews. While there is a lot of Jew haters
- 23:38Speaker 4: out there, I think that most people, at least in MAGA,
- 23:41Speaker 4: the Republican Party of the Conservative movement, they're not anti Jew,
- 23:44Speaker 4: Whereas I think there's a small number of people that
- 23:47Speaker 4: really seem to be against the Jews, and they seem
- 23:50Speaker 4: like they're loud and they're the majority, but in fact
- 23:53Speaker 4: I think they're quite a minority.
- 23:55Speaker 3: You are, no, I totally agree. And you know what, Ironically,
- 23:58Speaker 3: the strongest support is Israel in the United States are
- 24:03Speaker 3: Evangelical Christians, and so because they understand that when Iran
- 24:08Speaker 3: gets done, you know, like going after Israel, they're coming
- 24:13Speaker 3: for us. So you've got radical Islam, and they are
- 24:17Speaker 3: strongest ally in the Middle East against Radical Islam, and
- 24:21Speaker 3: they certainly have been annihilating Christians, and they would want
- 24:25Speaker 3: to annihilate Israel, but they really want to annihilate the
- 24:28Speaker 3: United States. So the standport for Congressman Massius, he got
- 24:33Speaker 3: caught up in this anti semitism, and anti Semitism doesn't
- 24:38Speaker 3: play well in the Republican Party, it doesn't play well
- 24:41Speaker 3: in America with the vast majority of Americans. But it's
- 24:44Speaker 3: out there. It's a reality. And whether you're follower Zora
- 24:48Speaker 3: Mandami in Brooklyn who is protesting outside synagogues because you
- 24:53Speaker 3: want Jewish you know, people to leave New York City,
- 24:58Speaker 3: or you're Thomas Massey saying that ed goal Ryans and
- 25:01Speaker 3: tel aviv I mean, that kind of anti Semitism is
- 25:04Speaker 3: just uncalled for. It's stupid, it's just it just doesn't
- 25:07Speaker 3: have a place in America. The real reality here is
- 25:10Speaker 3: it's about the issues. It's about making America great again.
- 25:15Speaker 3: It is about President Trump passing his issue. And President
- 25:18Speaker 3: Trump has a solid base that he's proven in these
- 25:21Speaker 3: primaries because he has stayed loyal to his base on
- 25:25Speaker 3: the issues. So as we jump to Texas. When you
- 25:29Speaker 3: look at Texas, they were both even roughly going into
- 25:36Speaker 3: the into the primary, headed for the runoff, both Attorney
- 25:40Speaker 3: General Paxton and Senator to Cornyon. And Paxton cleverly, very
- 25:44Speaker 3: smartly said, if they passed to Save America Act, which
- 25:49Speaker 3: would require you know, voter ID, no citizen proof, cisenship
- 25:54Speaker 3: to vote, to register to vote, and it would restrict
- 25:57Speaker 3: mail and balance so that you wouldn't have this cheating.
- 26:00Speaker 10: Uh.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Attorney General Paxton, who has been an election integrity supporter
- 26:05Speaker 3: of the President Trump, said if they if the US
- 26:08Speaker 3: Senate passes, that Congress passes that where President Trump wants
- 26:11Speaker 3: and what the American people want, he would get out
- 26:14Speaker 3: of the race. Senator Cornyn's in leadership, they couldn't pass it,
- 26:19Speaker 3: and we have polls. I have a poll this month,
- 26:22Speaker 3: and he knew that. Well, no, Senator Cornyn should have
- 26:26Speaker 3: passed it.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Well, you should have, but I think I think they
- 26:29Speaker 4: knew Cornyan wasn't going to do it.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Well, and Packson it was cool, as I said, clever
- 26:34Speaker 3: on his part, but you don't really know, I mean
- 26:36Speaker 3: the Senate if they got the votes together, the fifty
- 26:39Speaker 3: three Republican senators that you know, you would not get
- 26:42Speaker 3: a Democrat vote because they're all into non citizens.
- 26:46Speaker 8: Voting, tear into open borders, allowing illegal immigrants to vote.
- 26:50Speaker 8: They're into all sorts of nonsense that question that that
- 26:54Speaker 8: undermine our democracy. But but he but you know, when
- 26:58Speaker 8: you look at it, I had a Paul, I mean
- 27:00Speaker 8: the two point and patriots. This poll that we just
- 27:02Speaker 8: have out the idea of not allowing citizens to vote,
- 27:06Speaker 8: Eighty three to nine Americans are in favor of that.
- 27:09Speaker 8: Last month, when we asked it, do you have to
- 27:11Speaker 8: have proof of US citizenship? It was seventy seven to eighteen.
- 27:15Speaker 8: Do you need photo ID to voter early in person
- 27:17Speaker 8: absentees it's seventy five to twenty one Americans overwhelmingly big numbers.
- 27:24Speaker 8: This was in the Republican platform when Trump was nominated
- 27:27Speaker 8: again in Milwaukee. This has been high and air agenda
- 27:31Speaker 8: for all Republicans, and the US Senate has bottled us
- 27:35Speaker 8: up because they want to defend the filibuster. And it's
- 27:38Speaker 8: ironic as Talla Rico, the Democrat candidate for US Senate,
- 27:43Speaker 8: wants to get rid of the filibuster. But here we
- 27:46Speaker 8: are protecting it so the Democrats can get rid of it.
- 27:48Speaker 8: And in the meantime, when we asked last month a
- 27:51Speaker 8: thousand likely voters across the country, a couple of weeks ago,
- 27:54Speaker 8: we asked them, you are you in favor of passing
- 27:59Speaker 8: the Saving America Act with those with those provisions voter
- 28:04Speaker 8: id proof, csenship, et cetera. Or do you think we
- 28:08Speaker 8: need it's more important to defend the filibuster. Fifty six
- 28:12Speaker 8: to twenty eight the majority of Americans said passed the
- 28:16Speaker 8: same America Act. Only twenty eight percent said defend the filibuster. So,
- 28:21Speaker 8: you know, the Republicans who should be really worried about
- 28:25Speaker 8: winning in November in the mid terms, if you don't
- 28:28Speaker 8: get things done, then Trump voters won't come out for you,
- 28:31Speaker 8: they won't support you again. I mean, I mean, Attorney
- 28:34Speaker 8: Generald Paxton won that primary with President Trump's support two
- 28:37Speaker 8: to one blowout, not even close.
- 28:41Speaker 4: And just to say, you think it's really issues based,
- 28:44Speaker 4: agenda issues based, not Trump being on the ballot or
- 28:47Speaker 4: Trump showing up to campaign.
- 28:51Speaker 3: He's our leader, but those are his issues, This is
- 28:54Speaker 3: his agenda. I was with President Trump. As you mentioned,
- 28:57Speaker 3: I've advised him since twenty eleven. In twenty sixteen, when
- 29:01Speaker 3: he was trying to figure out how to beat Hillary Clinton,
- 29:04Speaker 3: it was all about the issues I mean, I mean,
- 29:07Speaker 3: and the key part of the coalition is it's about
- 29:09Speaker 3: working class voters. Because over the summer in twenty sixteen,
- 29:13Speaker 3: he says to me, all these media polls have me
- 29:15Speaker 3: losing to Hillary Clinton. How are we going to win?
- 29:17Speaker 3: I said, you know, you're gonna win by maxing out
- 29:20Speaker 3: the anti Hillary vote. You're going to siphon up the
- 29:22Speaker 3: libertarian vote from Gary Johnson, which he did, and then
- 29:26Speaker 3: you're going to bring new voters into the process because
- 29:28Speaker 3: only so many people wanted to vote for Mitt Romney.
- 29:31Speaker 3: I mean, a lot of Republicans walked away from that
- 29:33Speaker 3: election in twenty twelve.
- 29:35Speaker 4: And I think the Republican Party died in twenty twelve,
- 29:39Speaker 4: and it was on life support. And Trump came and
- 29:42Speaker 4: gave it CPR and gave it new life.
- 29:44Speaker 3: We had nine million more voters vote in twenty sixteen
- 29:47Speaker 3: than they did in twenty twelve. Wow. And if you
- 29:49Speaker 3: compare it now to twenty twenty four, when you had
- 29:52Speaker 3: to hire fifty five million voters. That's twenty five million
- 29:56Speaker 3: more voters then showed up in twenty twelve. So when
- 30:01Speaker 3: you look at that, he's created this party. He's our
- 30:05Speaker 3: blue collar billionaire. He's the leader of this working class party.
- 30:09Speaker 3: He has transformed the Republican Party from a country club
- 30:13Speaker 3: party into the party of the working classes. They often
- 30:16Speaker 3: say the caddies are now running the country club under
- 30:19Speaker 3: Donald Trump, and the establishment doesn't like it. But so
- 30:23Speaker 3: what it's like they haven't succeeded in the country, and
- 30:28Speaker 3: it's about the issues. Trump's bringing jobs back to America.
- 30:31Speaker 3: He's cutting taxes, he's trying to grow our economy. He
- 30:35Speaker 3: wants to keep us secure. He's closing the borders. He's
- 30:38Speaker 3: trying to keep criminals out, deporting criminal legal immigrants, and
- 30:43Speaker 3: at the same time, he's trying to make sure that citizenship.
- 30:47Speaker 3: You know, if you came here and did it right,
- 30:50Speaker 3: your citizenship should matter. Trump's mother was a Scottish immigrant,
- 30:56Speaker 3: So he's in favor of legal immigration. There's no doubt
- 30:59Speaker 3: about it that.
- 31:00Speaker 4: Yeah, and his wives have been immigrants right right.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Legal legally and uh yep, and so uh so so
- 31:10Speaker 3: we support that. So it's it's really about the issues,
- 31:12Speaker 3: and he's our leader for this agenda. That's that's gonna
- 31:16Speaker 3: make America great again. That's going to bring our country back.
- 31:19Speaker 3: That's made us the strongest country in the world. And
- 31:22Speaker 3: we're the ones who have a growing economy, not like China,
- 31:25Speaker 3: not like Europe where it's flat. Uh, we're growing our
- 31:29Speaker 3: economy and we're going to lead the you know, the
- 31:32Speaker 3: world out of this inflation uh, you know, inflation crisis.
- 31:37Speaker 3: And at the same time, he's keeping terrorists like Iran
- 31:41Speaker 3: back in the box and not letting them get nuclear weapons.
- 31:44Speaker 3: So uh yeah, so he's done what he said.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Johnny Black, I want to pause right here. We're gonna
- 31:49Speaker 4: take a quick break. We're going to come right back.
- 31:51Speaker 4: I want to talk about a little bit about the
- 31:53Speaker 4: impact of Iran. I want to talk about Tall Rico
- 31:55Speaker 4: because I think that's an interesting scenario, and I also
- 31:57Speaker 4: want to talk about the moving forward with a lot
- 32:01Speaker 4: of interesting races Spencer Pratt as well as, uh the
- 32:05Speaker 4: framing of the Republican Party as a bunch of supporters
- 32:09Speaker 4: or protectors of pedophiles. That seems to be the new
- 32:12Speaker 4: stretch used to be. You know, Orange Man Bad is
- 32:15Speaker 4: peeing on Russian hookers. Now they have a new line
- 32:18Speaker 4: of crap that they're shoveling. So we're gonna get to that.
- 32:20Speaker 4: At the moment he goes, we're coming right back. Keep
- 32:22Speaker 4: it locked right here, coming back with our guy. John McLaughlin,
- 32:26Speaker 4: polster extraordinaire from McLaughlan Associates. Don't go anywhere.
- 32:29Speaker 2: This is America. This is America.
- 32:42Speaker 10: The forty fifth President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
- 32:46Speaker 10: to speak with rich Valdez.
- 32:48Speaker 11: Oh, very good.
- 32:52Speaker 10: The honor is all yours, conservative talk with a dash
- 32:58Speaker 10: of sofrito. Now here is Rich Valdez, all.
- 33:04Speaker 4: Right, I mean, he goes, welcome back, Rich Valdez, keeping
- 33:07Speaker 4: your company. I am here again with our guests. We're
- 33:09Speaker 4: bringing him back in John McLaughlin. He is the head
- 33:12Speaker 4: of McLachlan Associates. His brother Jim Grake. I actually just
- 33:16Speaker 4: saw Jim by the way at Sea Pack in Texas.
- 33:18Speaker 4: And you guys are always active with your straw poles.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Where Paxton won the straw pole at DC Pack in Texas,
- 33:25Speaker 4: which was really good. Now, John McLaughlin has been a
- 33:27Speaker 4: polster to bb Net and Yahoo, to Tea Party Patriots,
- 33:31Speaker 4: to President Trump, who I like to call donaldis Magnus
- 33:34Speaker 4: el Tropito, and he's a good New Yorker from the Bronx. John.
- 33:39Speaker 4: I want to talk a little bit about tall Ico now,
- 33:43Speaker 4: because now that Paxton's won in Texas, we have this
- 33:46Speaker 4: guy who I want to say, he's like a pseudo
- 33:49Speaker 4: Christian Mamdani, right, he's out there. He talks about Jesus
- 33:52Speaker 4: in every sentence, and it's very un christ Like in
- 33:56Speaker 4: my own opinion of what he's saying. He seems to
- 33:58Speaker 4: embrace the hardest left wing, far left policies and make
- 34:04Speaker 4: them seem like, you know, like that's the right way
- 34:06Speaker 4: to do it, and like we're all wrong. What do
- 34:08Speaker 4: you think about Tallarico and his ability to win in
- 34:10Speaker 4: a red state like Texas?
- 34:12Speaker 3: Well, I think he's the latest dei Democrat because the
- 34:15Speaker 3: Democrats realized they got crushed by young men, particularly the
- 34:20Speaker 3: less election. Trump attracted them in the twenty four election
- 34:23Speaker 3: and we did so much better with young men, et cetera,
- 34:27Speaker 3: and the Democrats they decided, well, let's find this guy
- 34:29Speaker 3: who's who's a white, young male or younger male. But
- 34:33Speaker 3: the problem is he has all these these these radical
- 34:38Speaker 3: policies wrapped into who he is, and he can't run
- 34:42Speaker 3: from his history. In fact, the Senate Committee, i think,
- 34:45Speaker 3: just put out a two minute ad with all his
- 34:48Speaker 3: bizarre stuff where he's he absolutely believes in gender ideology.
- 34:55Speaker 3: So he's in favor of they them, and he's not
- 34:58Speaker 3: in favor of us. He wants to he wants some
- 35:00Speaker 3: abortion right. He's pro abortion, of course, but he also
- 35:05Speaker 3: wants to reduce meat consumption, which doesn't play well in Texas.
- 35:08Speaker 3: He's probably for all the Green New Deal stuff. And
- 35:11Speaker 3: so you've got a radical Democrat running as Okay, sure
- 35:16Speaker 3: he may be a Christian, but his brand of Christianity
- 35:19Speaker 3: is when you start telling people God's non binary, and
- 35:24Speaker 3: you know, he believes that there's six genders and he
- 35:27Speaker 3: has all these other ratit. You know, a lot of
- 35:29Speaker 3: times he's wearing these masks like that, like we're still
- 35:32Speaker 3: in a COVID lockdown. I mean, it's not gonna play
- 35:35Speaker 3: well in Texas. Now. He's a weird guy, and so
- 35:40Speaker 3: it's not gonna play well in Texas. So we pulled
- 35:42Speaker 3: in Texas for President Trump at twenty sixteen, in twenty
- 35:44Speaker 3: twenty in the campaign last time, it wasn't even in play.
- 35:48Speaker 3: But he's yeah, I can assure you he's not going
- 35:51Speaker 3: to play well in Texas. And the other part is
- 35:54Speaker 3: the other part is Hispanic voters are not going to
- 35:56Speaker 3: vote for.
- 35:56Speaker 4: This, even even liberal Hispanics don't like those things. I
- 36:02Speaker 4: have an interesting question for you, because you know, most
- 36:04Speaker 4: Republicans for years they would say, ah, that's a deep
- 36:07Speaker 4: plus three district. Now we're not spending any money there.
- 36:10Speaker 4: Yet the Democrats, they're happy to spend all the money
- 36:13Speaker 4: in the world in Texas. Where's the difference in this philosophy.
- 36:17Speaker 4: They're always willing to go into the reddest of areas
- 36:19Speaker 4: and take in Austin for themselves and try and take
- 36:22Speaker 4: this city in San Antonio and there, little by little,
- 36:25Speaker 4: they'll take every city they can get. Why don't Republicans
- 36:28Speaker 4: play this game?
- 36:30Speaker 3: I don't know why. It's like it was like I
- 36:34Speaker 3: I you know, you know me, and it's like I
- 36:37Speaker 3: still do a lot of polic in New York. I
- 36:39Speaker 3: still do a lot of polling in California. I do
- 36:41Speaker 3: polling in blue states. I think the best Republicans are
- 36:45Speaker 3: the ones who can win in areas with and I
- 36:47Speaker 3: expected to win now. I used to kid my friend
- 36:50Speaker 3: Carl Rove because Carl when he worked for President George W.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Bush and they had us work for them for Bush
- 36:58Speaker 3: Cheney in two thousand and four. After nine to eleven,
- 37:01Speaker 3: I was like, you ought to try to win in
- 37:03Speaker 3: New York because at the time we had like a
- 37:06Speaker 3: in two thousand and three Trump, I mean not Trump Bush,
- 37:10Speaker 3: but had done so much for New York after nine
- 37:13Speaker 3: to eleven. He had a fifty six favorable which and
- 37:16Speaker 3: we had George Patakia's governor. And I was like, you
- 37:19Speaker 3: should try to win in New York. And because we
- 37:22Speaker 3: were talking about the convention, and ultimately I said, you
- 37:26Speaker 3: have to have the convention in New York because it
- 37:27Speaker 3: shows we've come back after nine to eleven, and plus
- 37:31Speaker 3: you had a terrorist threat. So I'm like, you know,
- 37:33Speaker 3: the New York City PD is better capable than Tampa.
- 37:36Speaker 3: They were designed between Tampa and New York. I said,
- 37:38Speaker 3: you're better with NYPD. They did have the convention in
- 37:41Speaker 3: New York. Yeah, but he didn't try to win New
- 37:43Speaker 3: York and I said, you know, I used to say
- 37:45Speaker 3: to him, you don't do away games. You need to
- 37:47Speaker 3: do away games to be really good. If you keep
- 37:50Speaker 3: winning on your home turf where people expect you to win,
- 37:53Speaker 3: you'll have a majority, which they did. They won fifty
- 37:55Speaker 3: one percent of the vote. They beat John Carry when
- 37:58Speaker 3: a lot of the Poles said that Carry was going
- 38:00Speaker 3: to win. They started that nonsense back then. But Donald
- 38:05Speaker 3: Trump tries to win everywhere he does.
- 38:07Speaker 4: It's funny, even when the party wasn't investing any money. Right,
- 38:10Speaker 4: he did a rally in the Bronx in Kratona Park,
- 38:14Speaker 4: of all places, South Bronx.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 38:16Speaker 4: Then then he did the bo they gotta stop in
- 38:18Speaker 4: the Bronx, the barbershop stop in Manhattan.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Right.
- 38:21Speaker 4: I thought this was remarkable. That Square Garden, Oh, that
- 38:25Speaker 4: was terrific. It's like and it was like he you know,
- 38:28Speaker 4: he but he'll go to California. He tried to help
- 38:32Speaker 4: the people with the Palisades fires. He will, he will
- 38:35Speaker 4: go into the Blue States. He's trying to help the
- 38:37Speaker 4: people of Chicago. You got this crime, and you've got
- 38:41Speaker 4: you've got you know, as recently, this this young woman
- 38:44Speaker 4: who's from Yorktown. And guess who else was from Yorktown.
- 38:48Speaker 4: But I'll tell you after the terrible story, this Sheridan
- 38:51Speaker 4: Gorman was shot in the back by an illegal immigrant
- 38:54Speaker 4: in Chicago. She was a college student at Loyola and
- 38:58Speaker 4: she was from Yorktown High School, twenty three years old.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Her parents just spoke on Friday in Rockland at the
- 39:03Speaker 4: meeting the Trump ad in Rockland, which I got invited to.
- 39:06Speaker 4: And I was grateful, shout out to the White House
- 39:08Speaker 4: and to Congressman Lawler's office for making that happen. But yeah,
- 39:12Speaker 4: my condolence instead of family. It was a horrible, heartbreaking story.
- 39:15Speaker 3: I cried.
- 39:16Speaker 4: I sat there weeping because how do you listen to
- 39:18Speaker 4: a story like that?
- 39:20Speaker 3: Well, the one who went to Yorktown High School was
- 39:23Speaker 3: Alexander Ocostio.
- 39:24Speaker 4: See all I crazy.
- 39:26Speaker 3: She's not from Queen, she's not from the Bronx. She's
- 39:29Speaker 3: from the suburbs.
- 39:31Speaker 4: And she was neighbors with mister producer rich Samenta.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Right and right, and but but you know what, where
- 39:38Speaker 3: was where is she? I mean, these these poor parents,
- 39:41Speaker 3: your heart, your heart breaks when they tell you how
- 39:44Speaker 3: loved their daughter was right, and they let the legal
- 39:48Speaker 3: immigrant and they want to go back to these sanctuary policies.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Kathy Holchl has has you know, barring ice, uh from
- 39:57Speaker 3: you know, from New York law enforcement from baring is
- 40:00Speaker 3: barring ice from you know, trying to deport criminal legal aliens.
- 40:04Speaker 3: And fortunately we have like Bruce Blakeman standing up to her.
- 40:07Speaker 3: In Nassau County, here's somebody who's hired hundreds of new
- 40:11Speaker 3: law enforcement officers, fully cooperates, and they've been raided as
- 40:15Speaker 3: the safest county in America within a sanctuary state, where
- 40:20Speaker 3: right next to New York City where the mayor wants
- 40:22Speaker 3: to shut down Rikers Island, did turn everybody loose in
- 40:25Speaker 3: her neighborhoods. I mean, it's just crazy stuff.
- 40:29Speaker 4: Yeah. You know, when I was in Puerto Rico, Blakeman
- 40:30Speaker 4: was there. He was at the Sea pack. He said
- 40:32Speaker 4: a few words. He raised some money with some of
- 40:34Speaker 4: the crypto bros that were there, a couple of hundred
- 40:36Speaker 4: grand easy, and he cut a deal with the governor or.
- 40:39Speaker 4: You know, got an endorsement, I should say, from the
- 40:41Speaker 4: governor for the backroom deals and cars and everything.
- 40:44Speaker 3: She's endorsing him.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, she agreed to endorse him. And I thought,
- 40:48Speaker 4: you know, here's this guy. He's moving in shake and
- 40:50Speaker 4: Blakeman's doing following all the connecting, all the dots, checking
- 40:55Speaker 4: all the boxes, and how does that look? You know,
- 40:58Speaker 4: being that you brought them up with with Hochel. I
- 41:01Speaker 4: know it's it's always been a challenge. I thought we
- 41:04Speaker 4: we did a great job when Lee Zelden ran and
- 41:07Speaker 4: we got within within arms reach. Yeah, and and I thought,
- 41:12Speaker 4: at least I Fanic would have been a stellar candidate.
- 41:14Speaker 4: And then there was this upset with Blakeman and he's
- 41:17Speaker 4: done a fantastic job electorally in Nasau. Can that translate
- 41:20Speaker 4: to the rest of the state. What do you think
- 41:22Speaker 4: have you? Have you surveyed?
- 41:24Speaker 3: This full disclosure, I worked for Bruce. I've worked for Bruce.
- 41:27Speaker 4: She definitely surveyed.
- 41:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, so, but we had Bruce in our internal polls,
- 41:33Speaker 3: which somehow leaked out. We and in March we had
- 41:36Speaker 3: him within nine points. So that was after the Iran
- 41:38Speaker 3: war started. And it's mainly because voters, most voters in
- 41:42Speaker 3: New York are dissatisfied with Kathy Huckle's leadership. Our taxes
- 41:46Speaker 3: are too high, our utility bills are too high. It's
- 41:49Speaker 3: all about, uh, you know, reducing the cost to the
- 41:52Speaker 3: average New Yorker so we don't have to leave the
- 41:54Speaker 3: state and she doesn't have to beg us to come back.
- 41:58Speaker 3: And uh, you know, there's a so this crime issue,
- 42:01Speaker 3: but Mondamie, basically it's unbelievable. Her budget, she's subsidizing Mondamie,
- 42:06Speaker 3: and where's the money gonna come from? The debt and
- 42:09Speaker 3: deficits in New York City and New York State are
- 42:11Speaker 3: going up, and she's taking money from Buffalo, from Rochester,
- 42:15Speaker 3: from Syracuse and she's using it to subsidize Mondami's. H
- 42:20Speaker 3: you know, deficits spending in New York City. Uh, the
- 42:23Speaker 3: New York City suburb voters, suburban voters, whether it's in
- 42:26Speaker 3: Rockland County where I come from, or whether it's NASA
- 42:29Speaker 3: or Suffolk, they're supporting Bruce. And uh so you know,
- 42:33Speaker 3: so right now, even though she keeps on attacking him
- 42:37Speaker 3: with Trump. I mean, one minute she's begging Trump for
- 42:41Speaker 3: money for Penn station, you know whatever. The next minute
- 42:44Speaker 3: she's attacking him. And uh but you know, voters know
- 42:48Speaker 3: that so that he has a good relationship with the President.
- 42:50Speaker 3: What they don't like is that, you know, you get
- 42:54Speaker 3: things like the Long Island Railroad goes on strike and
- 42:56Speaker 3: she's the governor and she's still charging him. Congestion seemed
- 43:00Speaker 3: to commute into Manattan. I mean, the taxes in the
- 43:03Speaker 3: spending never stops with Kathy Hochel and never stops with
- 43:07Speaker 3: the with the Zorha Mondaminia. I mean, I mean, you know, so,
- 43:12Speaker 3: Bruce is our only chance to basically put a stop
- 43:15Speaker 3: to all this, and that way the rest of us
- 43:18Speaker 3: can stay in New York.
- 43:19Speaker 4: So from your lips to God's ears, right, I hope
- 43:23Speaker 4: that it can happen. I love the fact that Zelden was,
- 43:27Speaker 4: like you said, within five points and that you've got
- 43:29Speaker 4: him at nine. I think that's good. And with the President,
- 43:33Speaker 4: I think coming in kind of early, I would say, right,
- 43:36Speaker 4: I feel like it's kind of early. I think that's
- 43:37Speaker 4: the way to do it. You got to be able
- 43:39Speaker 4: to build that momentum early and tie it to the issues,
- 43:42Speaker 4: and I think that's that can be a win. My
- 43:46Speaker 4: hope is that it is. I feel like Kathy Hochele
- 43:48Speaker 4: seems to be so slippery because she's an Albany Democrat
- 43:51Speaker 4: that was Republican esque in her heyday and now she's
- 43:55Speaker 4: like a leftist and she can talk to people however
- 43:58Speaker 4: she wants. Right, she could talk to you like she's
- 43:59Speaker 4: a high there from Albany, and she could talk to
- 44:01Speaker 4: you like she's a liberal hipster from a story of
- 44:04Speaker 4: Queen's and I think it's that chameleon manner that she
- 44:08Speaker 4: has where she's like, I'm gonna get zor on zoron
- 44:11Speaker 4: here whatever you want, you know, and she's so two
- 44:13Speaker 4: faced that it makes a lot of people happy.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, you know, when she was in Congress, she
- 44:18Speaker 3: was pro Second Amendment, right to bare arms right, and
- 44:21Speaker 3: then she got to be lieutetic governor. She choes for
- 44:24Speaker 3: gun control. But the bear part is what the worst
- 44:27Speaker 3: part is she's as of I think this week she's
- 44:31Speaker 3: had forty two utility taxing utility bill increases she's approved
- 44:35Speaker 3: under her watch. So, I mean, Bruce is promising that
- 44:39Speaker 3: he can cut our utility bills fifty percent, which is
- 44:42Speaker 3: really important because under her, you know, they keep on
- 44:45Speaker 3: shutting down our sources of power and we could have
- 44:48Speaker 3: blackout some brownouts this summer. And the insult to injury
- 44:52Speaker 3: is you're paying higher and higher utility bills under that
- 44:55Speaker 3: are mainly taxes and regulations that need to be walked back.
- 44:59Speaker 3: They need to be you know, just cut outright cut.
- 45:01Speaker 3: I mean a lot of places you have to have
- 45:04Speaker 3: electricity for new apartments in New York, in New York City. Well,
- 45:09Speaker 3: if you have electricity and you have a blackout, you
- 45:12Speaker 3: have nowhere conditioning, you don't have an elevator. I mean
- 45:15Speaker 3: it's it's really a prescription that's bad. So Bruce has
- 45:20Speaker 3: a really good shot.
- 45:22Speaker 4: Now you mentioned crime is an area and I just
- 45:24Speaker 4: saw a survey I think it was CNN and Harry Enton,
- 45:27Speaker 4: the chief data analysts at CNN, saying that despite what
- 45:31Speaker 4: people think, Republicans have the heart of the voter, the
- 45:36Speaker 4: voters trust Republicans on the issue of crime, or voters
- 45:39Speaker 4: trust Republicans on the issue of crime way more than Democrats,
- 45:42Speaker 4: I think by double digits. And I thought made sense
- 45:45Speaker 4: to me law and order a tough on crime. But
- 45:48Speaker 4: despite their efforts to paint you know, Republicans as the
- 45:51Speaker 4: Gestapo and ice as you know, murderers and whatnot, it
- 45:55Speaker 4: seems like the rhetoric isn't working so much on that issue.
- 46:00Speaker 3: No, it's not because Americans, And it goes right from
- 46:04Speaker 3: the top. Donald Trump was elected because he promised promises
- 46:07Speaker 3: peace and prosperity, and peace means not only peace around
- 46:11Speaker 3: the world, but peace at home. So uh so he
- 46:14Speaker 3: is he is doing what he can to remove criminal
- 46:17Speaker 3: legal immigrants. The Democrats are going out of their way
- 46:20Speaker 3: to keep uh, sex offenders and child molesters and murderers
- 46:25Speaker 3: and rapists and drug dealers and GAG members in this country,
- 46:29Speaker 3: and uh it just doesn't make any sense to the
- 46:31Speaker 3: average person. So, you know, usually crime is a local issue,
- 46:35Speaker 3: but with Democrats in Congress, it's become a national issue
- 46:40Speaker 3: because you can't trust them. They will let they will
- 46:42Speaker 3: open the borders, let these criminals in, and then when
- 46:45Speaker 3: they hear they let them loose with cashle spale. So
- 46:49Speaker 3: it's a very clear choice. Yeah.
- 46:51Speaker 4: Now, John McLaughlin, big honcho at McLaughlin Associates, one of
- 46:55Speaker 4: the best posters in America. I want to ask you
- 46:58Speaker 4: this because I always look at this stuff and I say, oh,
- 47:02Speaker 4: they's slinging mud. Nobody listens to that. But it seems
- 47:05Speaker 4: like when people criticize me, that's the critique is that, oh,
- 47:08Speaker 4: how could you like Trump? How dare you? Because they've
- 47:11Speaker 4: effectively demonized him to the point of making him satan.
- 47:14Speaker 4: And if Trump is satan and karnate, if he's given
- 47:17Speaker 4: you a million dollars, you're like, I don't want you
- 47:18Speaker 4: a million dollars, You're satan. Right, so, and I think
- 47:20Speaker 4: that's where they've gotten with him. The latest is that
- 47:23Speaker 4: if you're a Republican supporting Republicans, we are the party
- 47:27Speaker 4: that protects the pedophile. And I think it's weak rhetoric.
- 47:30Speaker 4: I think it's over the top. But my question to
- 47:33Speaker 4: you is it working? Do you think it's going to work?
- 47:37Speaker 4: What are the numbers telling you?
- 47:39Speaker 3: Absolutely not, it's not working at all. I mean it's
- 47:41Speaker 3: some sort of I mean they're trying this stuff with
- 47:43Speaker 3: Bernie Epstein or whatever.
- 47:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that party of Epstein, right right.
- 47:47Speaker 3: But you know, in the meantime, there was a Democrat
- 47:51Speaker 3: president going there, and there were plenty of plenty of
- 47:53Speaker 3: Democrats that were hanging out with Epstein. He was given
- 47:56Speaker 3: the money, but it's fiction because Trump threw him out
- 47:59Speaker 3: of a club. He didn't want to hang around with
- 48:01Speaker 3: the guy.
- 48:02Speaker 4: Yeah, And you know, I look at these things real quick.
- 48:04Speaker 4: I look at the fact that you had Elon Musk
- 48:07Speaker 4: came out right and kind of reearthed this and made
- 48:09Speaker 4: it very popular for everybody to critique Trump when he
- 48:11Speaker 4: was having his war with Trump and where to take
- 48:14Speaker 4: him nowhere? He ended up coming back into good graces
- 48:16Speaker 4: with Trump. Who else has tried it right that Thomas
- 48:21Speaker 4: and Massy Tucker. It seems every critic of the president says,
- 48:24Speaker 4: oh my gosh, you're on the Epstein list and this,
- 48:26Speaker 4: and and all they do is become marginalized.
- 48:30Speaker 3: Well, I mean the guy. The fact of the matters.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Epstein was trying to get in with wealthy people so
- 48:36Speaker 3: he could help his business whatever. And he was extremely unethical,
- 48:40Speaker 3: if not a criminal person with what he was doing.
- 48:43Speaker 3: So question, but Trump got Trump got wind of him early,
- 48:47Speaker 3: and the fact is he threw him out of his club,
- 48:49Speaker 3: didn't want anything to do with the guy, just so
- 48:52Speaker 3: he could see it coming. And at the same time,
- 48:54Speaker 3: you've got records where Epstein was trying to undermine Trump
- 48:57Speaker 3: when when he became president. So so that shows you,
- 49:01Speaker 3: but they don't the mainstream media doesn't play that, and
- 49:04Speaker 3: the average American wants to ignore that. They want they
- 49:06Speaker 3: want Trump to succeed. They want him to grow our economy,
- 49:09Speaker 3: so grow out a way out of the Biden Harris inflation.
- 49:13Speaker 3: They want him to keep us safe at home and abroad,
- 49:15Speaker 3: and they want and they want him to be successful
- 49:17Speaker 3: in this. And you know, just war to keep a
- 49:20Speaker 3: ran from having nuclear weapons.
- 49:22Speaker 4: So let's talk about that. Well, how does that affect us?
- 49:24Speaker 4: And I guess so this will be before we wrap up.
- 49:26Speaker 4: How does Iran affect us in the midterms if we're
- 49:30Speaker 4: still at war? Gas prices, I guess are directly attached
- 49:35Speaker 4: to Iran. The price of beef is still i'd say
- 49:38Speaker 4: out of control. Right, just had Memorial Day and they
- 49:40Speaker 4: didn't have too many ribbuys. Right, these are things that
- 49:44Speaker 4: I think matters everyday Americans and are going to be
- 49:46Speaker 4: an issue come come the midterms. How does that work
- 49:49Speaker 4: out in the polling world?
- 49:51Speaker 3: Well, I mean Trump in this latest pollar, we posted
- 49:54Speaker 3: he as a forty eight approval forty seven disapproval, and
- 49:57Speaker 3: you've got, when you look at his number, thirty four
- 50:00Speaker 3: approve of both his personality policies. We've got another fourteen
- 50:03Speaker 3: percent that's really focused on his policies. So that and
- 50:07Speaker 3: the forty seven that disapproves both. It's down from we
- 50:11Speaker 3: peaked on election day. So the President nine to eleven
- 50:13Speaker 3: in New York at Yankee Stadium when he came there
- 50:16Speaker 3: last year and he said, oh, I got my best numbers. Ever,
- 50:18Speaker 3: I said, no, your best numbers were an election day.
- 50:20Speaker 3: But that's what you have a campaign for So he
- 50:22Speaker 3: had a fifty seven percent job approval as he did
- 50:25Speaker 3: as president, and it stayed that way through the through
- 50:28Speaker 3: the early part of the year. But then you know
- 50:31Speaker 3: in his base it's rock solid. So Republicans, if you're
- 50:35Speaker 3: a Republican, he's got eighty seven percent. You know they
- 50:38Speaker 3: approve of his job that he's doing. And if you
- 50:42Speaker 3: voted for him eighty four percent. That's why he's winning
- 50:45Speaker 3: these primaries because his base realizes he's kept his word.
- 50:48Speaker 3: He stuck with them, and this is what he promised
- 50:50Speaker 3: to do. Where where the erosion is at the middle,
- 50:54Speaker 3: because Trump's numbers were strongest because we were running against
- 50:58Speaker 3: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and they failed. And the
- 51:02Speaker 3: difference now is we don't know who Trump's opponent really
- 51:07Speaker 3: is other than Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer. And Chuck Schumer,
- 51:11Speaker 3: by the way, most Americans don't like him, so they
- 51:16Speaker 3: keep him, and the same thing at Hakem Jefferies is
- 51:19Speaker 3: a net negative. So you get surveys where fifty percent
- 51:23Speaker 3: of the voters are unfair to Chuck Schumer only twenty
- 51:25Speaker 3: seven favorable. Trump needs to go after Chuck Schumer every
- 51:29Speaker 3: day needs to do the same with hiking Jeffries because
- 51:32Speaker 3: they are the ones trying to slow the economy down.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Jerome they love Jerome Palell. They kept him there. Why
- 51:38Speaker 3: Jerome pal kept interest rates artificially high at a time
- 51:41Speaker 3: when the average American has a six thousand dollars you know,
- 51:46Speaker 3: credit card balance and they're paying sixteen percent on their
- 51:49Speaker 3: credit cards. Trump has talked about, we're putting caps on that.
- 51:53Speaker 3: They also Schumer shut down the government. Why to take
- 51:57Speaker 3: away some of the GDP growth in the economy again,
- 52:01Speaker 3: because they understand if the economic growth like President Trump wants,
- 52:06Speaker 3: the Republicans will keep the House in the Senate. That's
- 52:08Speaker 3: what happened in two thousand and two when we had
- 52:11Speaker 3: a growing economy, when George W. Bush had tax cuts
- 52:13Speaker 3: that went into effect and the country was united after
- 52:16Speaker 3: nine to eleven. Now you've got Democrats, you know, they
- 52:19Speaker 3: don't want to celebrate America two fifty with us. They
- 52:23Speaker 3: want to repeat Iranian state television. Really dangerous. When you
- 52:27Speaker 3: guys get like Senator Chris Murphy, he puts it, retweets
- 52:30Speaker 3: out stuff there that Iranian propagandas are putting out. Make
- 52:34Speaker 3: it seem like we're losing the water. Ram we're not.
- 52:37Speaker 3: And to your question is Americans are patient people. In
- 52:41Speaker 3: the short term, yeah, we'll pay higher gas prices, but
- 52:44Speaker 3: you know, in the long term, when we asked the
- 52:47Speaker 3: agree to disagree that Donald Trump should finish the job
- 52:50Speaker 3: and win the war with the ragin sixty to thirty
- 52:53Speaker 3: two to one, the Americans said yes to that.
- 52:55Speaker 4: They agree. Big number. Yeah, big number. Now, John McLaughlin,
- 52:59Speaker 4: any other insight from this most recent survey from McLachlin Associates.
- 53:04Speaker 3: By the way, there's a lot there if you go
- 53:05Speaker 3: to McLaughlin online dot com. There's a lot of numbers there.
- 53:09Speaker 3: And if you tell people about the ballroom what it's
- 53:11Speaker 3: being built for security, they support that when you talk
- 53:15Speaker 3: to them about again, and it's.
- 53:18Speaker 4: Not costing us anything but for security. Right, we're not
- 53:20Speaker 4: righting for construction.
- 53:22Speaker 3: But you know, the thing is that you don't realize
- 53:24Speaker 3: the White House is a very vulnerable place and that
- 53:27Speaker 3: new ballroom is really underneath that. You're going to have
- 53:30Speaker 3: secure areas underneath it that are going to be used
- 53:33Speaker 3: to keep people safe. The ballroom is going to be
- 53:36Speaker 3: reinforced with concrete and steel. And why do you need it.
- 53:39Speaker 3: We're in this age of AI drone technology. You get
- 53:42Speaker 3: a terrorist with a drone near the White House, it's
- 53:46Speaker 3: an extremely vulnerable place. And Trump's not doing it just
- 53:50Speaker 3: for him while he's there. He's doing this for every
- 53:52Speaker 3: president that comes after.
- 53:54Speaker 4: So he's only got a couple of years left.
- 53:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I guarantee you that they'll use it the demosil.
- 54:01Speaker 4: They're not going to boycott the ballroom, No.
- 54:03Speaker 3: They will. They'll be in there, they'll be hunkered down.
- 54:06Speaker 3: But but Donald Trump's doing it in the right way.
- 54:09Speaker 3: And uh, that's what do you expect from a president
- 54:11Speaker 3: who gets it done. He's totally unique in American history.
- 54:15Speaker 3: We've never seen a president like this where he's a
- 54:18Speaker 3: business person, he's not from Washington. He keeps his word,
- 54:21Speaker 3: and he really does watch out for the working men
- 54:23Speaker 3: and women of America.
- 54:25Speaker 4: John McLaughlin and I wrapped up the interview here, but
- 54:27Speaker 4: I have a final question, and it's a little off
- 54:29Speaker 4: the wall, but how does a nice kid from the
- 54:32Speaker 4: Bronx end up becoming a polster?
- 54:34Speaker 3: Of all?
- 54:35Speaker 4: Is that what you wanted to do when you were
- 54:36Speaker 4: like in sixth grade, You're like, I want to be
- 54:37Speaker 4: a Polster.
- 54:39Speaker 3: And that's, by the way, that's when I moved and
- 54:42Speaker 3: I left the Bronx, left Saint Barnavas, and I moved
- 54:44Speaker 3: to my parents moved me to the suburbs. But I
- 54:47Speaker 3: came back there to go to Fordham and Donald Trump
- 54:49Speaker 3: went to Fordham for two years before he went to
- 54:51Speaker 3: Penn Yeah. So, but uh, but it's like, no, it's
- 54:57Speaker 3: it's when your passion becomes, uh, your living. So I
- 55:02Speaker 3: can tell that you're passionate about what you do when
- 55:04Speaker 3: you talk to people with your programs, your shows, your guests,
- 55:09Speaker 3: the people that listen to you. I can tell rich
- 55:11Speaker 3: that you're passionate about that. Well, in nineteen seventy six,
- 55:15Speaker 3: when I was in college at Fordam, I volunteered for
- 55:18Speaker 3: the Reagan campaign and I was also I used to
- 55:22Speaker 3: volunteer and help local Republicans when elections up in Rockland County,
- 55:26Speaker 3: New York. And when your hobby becomes your living, which
- 55:30Speaker 3: in nineteen eighty two, one of Reagan's pollsters, Arthur Finelstein,
- 55:34Speaker 3: offered me a job with his firm. I did it,
- 55:36Speaker 3: and yeah, I got the NBA and quantitative methods from
- 55:41Speaker 3: Fordham and all that kind of stuff. But By the meantime,
- 55:45Speaker 3: I got to work for a lot of good people
- 55:47Speaker 3: who made their polster look good, including President Trump, who
- 55:52Speaker 3: certainly made his polster look good. And I'll you know,
- 55:55Speaker 3: you're only as good as the people you work for.
- 55:57Speaker 3: And thank god we live in America where people are
- 56:00Speaker 3: free can express their opinions and uh can have honest
- 56:04Speaker 3: debates about issues and ideas, and uh, you know they
- 56:08Speaker 3: it's good. It keeps us polsters in business, but at
- 56:11Speaker 3: the same time it strengthens our democracy.
- 56:13Speaker 4: Yeah. You know the old saying they say, find a
- 56:16Speaker 4: job you love, you'll never work a day in your life.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Yep.
- 56:19Speaker 4: I think we both with a lot of yes.
- 56:22Speaker 3: So it's great to be on your show because I
- 56:24Speaker 3: can tell that you love it and you have the passion,
- 56:27Speaker 3: and uh, you're doing it your audience. You're doing a
- 56:30Speaker 3: great service for having your audience is building. So thank
- 56:32Speaker 3: you a great thing.
- 56:33Speaker 4: Thank you for being here. Because you know, I always
- 56:35Speaker 4: tell people there's no show if thenbody's watching it, nobody's
- 56:37Speaker 4: listening to somebody's coming on the show. I'm talking to myself, John,
- 56:41Speaker 4: take care, brother, godspeed. Do you check him out at
- 56:43Speaker 4: McLachlan online dot com. Jim at McLaughlin, John McLaughlin, these
- 56:47Speaker 4: guys that do a great job, make sure you check
- 56:49Speaker 4: them out. You're a gentleman, of scolar and a patriot.
- 56:51Speaker 4: Thanks John, Thank you, yesday, great guy. All right, Amingos,
- 57:01Speaker 4: we're coming right back. More to come straight ahead, my
- 57:04Speaker 4: final thoughts and more. Don't go anywhere.
- 57:07Speaker 2: This is America. This is America. He's making podcasting great again.
- 57:22Speaker 2: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 57:35Speaker 4: All right, now, attention, pay attention. This is an important one. Yeah,
- 57:40Speaker 4: pay attention to this. Cops and Long Island are using
- 57:44Speaker 4: something called so doxa. Now this is a test, a
- 57:48Speaker 4: drug test to check for weed. Yeah, now check this
- 57:52Speaker 4: out straight inside your mouth.
- 57:54Speaker 12: Even with marijuana legal in New York, most local relies
- 57:58Speaker 12: still have no roadside tests to determine what drug may
- 58:02Speaker 12: be impairing a driver. But some police say this is
- 58:05Speaker 12: a game changer.
- 58:06Speaker 4: So positive a cannon.
- 58:11Speaker 12: It's called so toxa, a saliva test which in five
- 58:14Speaker 12: minutes can identify seven types of drugs plays.
- 58:19Speaker 4: And there is no female version, right, so if it's
- 58:21Speaker 4: a girl getting tested, they don't call it sotoxiga, So
- 58:24Speaker 4: get that out of your mind. But it takes five
- 58:26Speaker 4: minutes to identify seven different types of drugs, including meth, cocaine, benzos, cannabis,
- 58:32Speaker 4: and opiates.
- 58:33Speaker 3: People out there in their cars smoking marijuana.
- 58:36Speaker 4: Our ability to determine that is hampered by the fact
- 58:41Speaker 4: that there is no legal level of marijuana intoxication.
- 58:46Speaker 12: So if police have rolled out three of the devices
- 58:49Speaker 12: along with this warning, if you drive high or drunk,
- 58:54Speaker 12: there's a lot to lose.
- 58:57Speaker 4: Not only will you lose your car, it's unlikely that
- 59:00Speaker 4: you'll get it back.
- 59:01Speaker 2: Well, crush it.
- 59:02Speaker 4: You imagine that, cruising down the street, you're thinking, you're
- 59:04Speaker 4: all clear, you haven't been drinking. You might have been
- 59:07Speaker 4: doing some gummies, you might have been doing some all
- 59:08Speaker 4: sorts of who knows what, and now they can check
- 59:11Speaker 4: you with a saliva swab. I want to know what
- 59:13Speaker 4: you think about this, right A lot of people are saying,
- 59:14Speaker 4: what if I did it yesterday, what if I did
- 59:16Speaker 4: the day before? What if it stays in my system
- 59:17Speaker 4: for thirty days? This is exactly what I want you
- 59:20Speaker 4: to weigh in on. We're gonna be talking about that
- 59:21Speaker 4: and so much more in our Open Phone America segment.
- 59:24Speaker 4: Definitely give me a call on this. Eight seven seven
- 59:27Speaker 4: valdez one. The numbers up on the screen eight seven
- 59:29Speaker 4: seven eight twenty five thirty three seventy one. I think
- 59:32Speaker 4: I got that right. Anyway, hit me up on the
- 59:34Speaker 4: duct phone eight seven seven valdez one because I really
- 59:37Speaker 4: want to know. I'm really interested in knowing your thoughts.
- 59:42Speaker 4: All right, let's hit the phones. Let's go to Tony
- 59:44Speaker 4: in Montreal, Canada. What do you want to speak on, sir?
- 59:47Speaker 11: On Canadian conservatism and where North America is going? All right,
- 59:52Speaker 11: I want I want North America to understand that Starmer,
- 59:56Speaker 11: Macron and Van Helen are the dangers to society that
- 1:00:01Speaker 11: we have to stop as a conservative movement.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: Well, I think you're right, Tony. I appreciate that. The
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: importance of I think the conservative movement, whether it's in Hungary,
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: all over Europe, in Canada as you're mentioning, or anywhere else.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: People that believe in conservatism, smaller government, lesser government intervention,
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: more liberty. These people are birds of a feather and
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: we should flock together. Right, most of the time we're
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: saying things like, look, I just want to mind my
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: own business. I just want to That's the reason why
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: I think the other side is so good at organizing
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: because they believe in collectivism and they don't want to
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: be left alone. They want to be off all up
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: in everybody's business, kind of like this topic that I
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: just brought up here. And I know you're a lawyer
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: Tony in Canada, Timber Tony, but I'm curious to know
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: if they have that in Canada, if they have this
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: topic where they can pull you over and do a
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: saliva swab. Okay, I'm being told in my ear that
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: Tony's not with us anymore. Now, he didn't go on
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: to the next life. He's just not on the line anymore.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: But I'm interested in knowing that because a lot of
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: people and thank you for that, and again your point
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: of conservatism as well, taken Tony the and honestly it
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: falls right into this topic of what I'm talking about
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: with the conservatism and the marijuana testing and whatnot. If
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: people are going to make people, the politicians, the representatives
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: of the people, are going to say we are going
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: to make cannabis legal. You can buy gummies in the store,
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: you can smoke weed on the streets, it's legal, Okay,
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: got it. I can buy liquor in the store. I
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: can buy liquor in the streets, but I can't operate
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: machinery or a motor vehicle. Understood. But there's standards that say,
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: if you have this much blood alcohol level at the
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: time you stopped, evidenced by blowing into a breathalyzer, we
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: are going to suspend your ability to drive and arrest,
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: your ability to be free, et cetera, et cetera. And
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: they want to do the same thing. The problem here
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: is there isn't a work that says your cannabis intoxication level,
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: you know, blood blood cannabis content, right, because they're checking
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: your saliva. Moreover, unless they figure out what cannabis looks
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: like in the last few minutes while you're actually under
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: the influence versus cannabis from yesterday where you might have
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: been high for two hours and you know it's just
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: in your system for the next three, four weeks, six
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: months maybe. Then guess what, It's an ineffective test because
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: you're going to pull over somebody who was at a
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: Grateful Dead concert somewhere and they were puff puff passed
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: with their friends, and that was on a Friday night,
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: and here it is Sunday after church, and guess what
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: they get pulled over, you know, and they're going to
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: fail this test. It doesn't make any sense. Then they
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: say that they could arrest you if you if you
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: don't agree to take the saliva test, because because it's
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: bodily fluid, they would need a warrant, So you have
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: to volunteer it. If you say no, they can go
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: ahead and arrest you on suspicion anyway, and then compel
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: you once you're arrested. A post arrest saliva test or
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: chemical drug test is a requirement, and just for refusing
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: you would get a one year license revocation and a
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: five hundred dollars fine. Even if a judge finds you
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: not guilty and the charge doesn't stick, you still lose
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: your license just for refusing the test. Seems a little
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: bit excessive. That's not something that exists in the alcohol
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: side of things. Moreover, in the news thing from CBS
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: News that I just played for you, in that it
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: was very clear that they would crush your car and
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: impound it. You tell me the last time somebody. Some
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: people crush their own cars, you know, God forbid, but
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: they do. But it's not the police taking your car
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: away and crushing it. A couple of weeks ago, I
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: mentioned how they were on the Washington Bridge stopping people
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: for easy pass, arresting people, Yet they don't arrest anybody.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: He was jumping a turnstile. I can guarantee you there's
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: more people robbing the MTA on the subways, and there
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: are people stealing an easy pass, yet selective enforcement. The
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: easy pass person has a job, the other one doesn't.
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: So you go where you think you can get the money.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: It's a cash grab. It's not about right and wrong.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: It's not about rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar's and
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: rendering unto God what is God's. It's about taking your money,
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: and that is a shame. And I think in this
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: case it's likely unconstitutional because it is probably a violation
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: of the Fourth Amendment here where because of the informed
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: consent laws that they have in New York saying that
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: if you deny this thing that you automatically lose your license.
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: It seems like you don't have much of a choice
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: at all. Right, it sounds like COVID all over again.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: So anyway, lots of discussion on the Instagram post that
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: I put on my Instagram page. If you want to
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: take a look at that. That got a lot of traction,
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: and that's it. Staki yeh. I'm a at approxima. I
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: want to wish you a good night, but before I do,
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: I want to say the only thing necessary for evil
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: to triumph is for good people like you to do nothing.
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: So make sure you stand for something, because if you
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything. I start approxima,
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: take care, good night, and God bless you America. I'm
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: rich Valdez, and this is America.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: This is America.
