Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. On this edition of the Morning Update, we're
• 0:07
Speaker 1: going to talk a little bit more about the subpoena
• 0:09
Speaker 1: party that's about to happen at the Capitol, and we're
• 0:12
Speaker 1: also going to talk about some comments that Trump has
• 0:15
Speaker 1: allegedly made in private about the Epstein survivors. So, let's
• 0:20
Speaker 1: just get right to it. This first article is from
• 0:23
Speaker 1: the Palm Beach Post and the headline, Will Jeffrey Epstein
• 0:26
Speaker 1: Testimony by the Clintons, Ex-Officials in D.C.? be public or private.
• 0:32
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Holly Baltz. Testimony about the
• 0:36
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases from former U.S. Attorney
• 0:40
Speaker 1: General and FBI directors as well as Bill and Hillary
• 0:43
Speaker 1: Clinton on Capitol Hill is soon to begin on August 18th.
• 0:48
Speaker 1: Subpoenas issued by the House Oversight Committee say they will
• 0:51
Speaker 1: testify during a deposition and they will be conducted in
• 0:55
Speaker 1: private according to Jessica Collins, communication director for the committee
• 0:59
Speaker 1: and its chair, Representative James Comer. They will be closed
• 1:03
Speaker 1: to the press and the public, she said. Oh, well,
• 1:06
Speaker 1: so much for transparency, huh? God forbid we can see
• 1:09
Speaker 1: for ourselves what the testimony brings. Instead, they'll do it
• 1:12
Speaker 1: behind closed doors, and then they'll give us a report.
• 1:16
Speaker 1: You know, a watered-down report, redacted. But they'll give us
• 1:19
Speaker 1: a report, and then they'll say that they did everything
• 1:22
Speaker 1: they could do when it comes to transparency, but the
• 1:25
Speaker 1: law only allows them to go so far. But what
• 1:28
Speaker 1: they forget to tell you is that they're the ones
• 1:31
Speaker 1: who write these laws and they're also the ones that
• 1:33
Speaker 1: could change them. But they're not going to do it. Instead,
• 1:37
Speaker 1: what they'll do is they'll say, hey, we're going to
• 1:38
Speaker 1: have these committees and we're going to bring all these
• 1:41
Speaker 1: people up on subpoena, but you're not going to see it.
• 1:44
Speaker 1: We'll tell you what goes down and we'll give you
• 1:47
Speaker 1: the narrative. It's all a big ass joke. And the
• 1:49
Speaker 1: more they try to be secretive, the more they try
• 1:52
Speaker 1: and do this shit in private. the more people are
• 1:54
Speaker 1: going to question what's going on, and they need to
• 1:56
Speaker 1: understand that half measures and half steps are unacceptable. Depositions
• 2:01
Speaker 1: normally are fact-finding quests done by lawyers behind closed doors,
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: so the committee's plan isn't unusual. Well, this isn't a
• 2:09
Speaker 1: usual case, so you have to do things different. And
• 2:13
Speaker 1: if that means being fully transparent, then so be it.
• 2:16
Speaker 1: In the context of Congress, hearings normally are held in public,
• 2:20
Speaker 1: And depositions normally are held in private, said Robert Jarvis,
• 2:24
Speaker 1: a law professor at Nova Southeastern University. Thus, I would
• 2:28
Speaker 1: expect the Epstein depositions to be held in private. Translation,
• 2:32
Speaker 1: you're not going to get the truth. They're going to
• 2:34
Speaker 1: hustle you, they're going to lie, and they're going to
• 2:36
Speaker 1: control the damage, like usual. The public is clamoring for
• 2:40
Speaker 1: more information from the federal government about whether Epstein had
• 2:44
Speaker 1: co-conspirators protected by authorities in a sex trafficking ring of
• 2:48
Speaker 1: underage girls. The case began in Palm Beach County in
• 2:51
Speaker 1: 2006 when a grand jury indicted Epstein on a single
• 2:55
Speaker 1: charge of solicitation of prostitution. And right then and there,
• 2:59
Speaker 1: you know the fix is in. A guy like this
• 3:01
Speaker 1: only gets hit with that one charge? Okay, sure. That's normal. Well,
• 3:06
Speaker 1: I guess it's normal if you're rich. But for the
• 3:09
Speaker 1: rest of us, we'd be underneath the prison, make no mistake.
• 3:13
Speaker 1: President Donald Trump on the campaign trail last year vowed
• 3:16
Speaker 1: to make sure The evidence held by the government was
• 3:18
Speaker 1: revealed to the public, but he has faced a weeks-long
• 3:22
Speaker 1: political firestorm after the Justice Department on July 7th announced
• 3:26
Speaker 1: that there would be no further release of evidence. Coincidentally,
• 3:30
Speaker 1: right after Donald Trump found out that he was in
• 3:33
Speaker 1: Epstein's files. All of a sudden it doesn't matter anymore?
• 3:37
Speaker 1: All of a sudden nobody should be paying attention and
• 3:39
Speaker 1: it's all a hoax? Sorry, that shit's not going to work.
• 3:42
Speaker 1: The department, at Trump's behest, petitioned courts to release grand
• 3:46
Speaker 1: jury transcripts in the criminal cases involving Epstein and Maxwell.
• 3:50
Speaker 1: The only set of grand jury transcripts that are public
• 3:53
Speaker 1: involve the original criminal case in Palm Beach County and
• 3:56
Speaker 1: were revealed last year in a lawsuit filed by the
• 3:59
Speaker 1: Palm Beach Post. Among the documents held now by DOJ
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: was a leather-bound birthday book from Epstein's 50th that contained
• 4:08
Speaker 1: body letters from Trump, the Wall Street Journal reported. So
• 4:11
Speaker 1: which officials are going to be testifying? First up, William Barr.
• 4:17
Speaker 1: Barr was U.S. Attorney General in the same years federal
• 4:20
Speaker 1: authorities arrested Epstein in 2019 and Maxwell in 2020 on
• 4:25
Speaker 1: charges of sex trafficking minors. He served under Trump during
• 4:28
Speaker 1: his first term in office. The guy is an absolute liar.
• 4:32
Speaker 1: Anyone who believes anything coming out of Bill Barr's mouth
• 4:35
Speaker 1: is insane. Mr. Arbiter of Truth, huh? This is the
• 4:40
Speaker 1: guy that kicked everything into motion telling us that Epstein
• 4:44
Speaker 1: died by suicide. And his source for that? Trust me, bro.
• 4:47
Speaker 1: No evidence backed it up. No sort of real report
• 4:50
Speaker 1: was released to the public. Things were missing from the
• 4:54
Speaker 1: official report. And there was conflicting opinions about Jeffrey Epstein's
• 4:59
Speaker 1: cause of death. But sure, let's just listen to Bill Barr.
• 5:04
Speaker 1: Also on his watch was the death of Epstein, found
• 5:06
Speaker 1: hanged in his Manhattan jail cell, mere weeks after he
• 5:10
Speaker 1: was arrested. The medical examiner ruled the death a suicide.
• 5:13
Speaker 1: Barr launched an investigation into Epstein's death, which concluded there
• 5:18
Speaker 1: was a perfect storm of screw-ups, he said, by prison personnel.
• 5:22
Speaker 1: Charges were launched against the guard's who are watching Epstein
• 5:25
Speaker 1: for falsifying records. Yo, can you imagine the perfect storm
• 5:29
Speaker 1: of screw-ups just so happens that it's Jeffrey Epstein who
• 5:33
Speaker 1: ends up dying? The guy that has the most secrets
• 5:37
Speaker 1: to spill? Not El Chapo. Not John Gotti. Not one
• 5:41
Speaker 1: of these disgusting child molesters or terrorists. Just Jeffrey Epstein.
• 5:46
Speaker 1: But yeah, just a gigantic coincidence. Though frequently criticized for
• 5:52
Speaker 1: instituting action that aligned with Trump's policies, Barr announced on
• 5:56
Speaker 1: December 1st, 2020, that the DOJ had found no evidence
• 6:00
Speaker 1: of widespread fraud that would change the outcome of the
• 6:03
Speaker 1: 2020 presidential election won by Joe Biden. Barr resigned later
• 6:08
Speaker 1: that month before the new administration came in. Yo, that's
• 6:11
Speaker 1: some funny shit, thinking you're going to get the truth
• 6:13
Speaker 1: from Bill Barr. Next up, we have former U.S. Attorney
• 6:18
Speaker 1: General Alberto Gonzalez. Gonzalez was U.S. Attorney General from 2005
• 6:24
Speaker 1: to the fall of 2007 under former President George W. Bush.
• 6:29
Speaker 1: On September 24, 2007, Epstein signed the first draft of
• 6:34
Speaker 1: the agreement in which he agreed to plead guilty in
• 6:36
Speaker 1: state court to two prostitution felonies in exchange for federal
• 6:40
Speaker 1: authorities agreeing not to launch a federal prosecution. That first
• 6:45
Speaker 1: draft was signed a week after Gonzalez resigned, over controversies,
• 6:49
Speaker 1: such as advanced interrogation techniques being used on detainees during
• 6:54
Speaker 1: the War on Terror. It was Michael Mukasey who signed
• 6:57
Speaker 1: off on this. Him and Mr. Philippe. They were in
• 7:00
Speaker 1: charge at the time. But cool, let's call up Alberto
• 7:03
Speaker 1: Gonzalez and none of the other people that were actually involved.
• 7:07
Speaker 1: Make it make sense. The FBI and federal prosecutors had
• 7:11
Speaker 1: investigated Epstein from 2006 to 2008 and after Palm Beach
• 7:16
Speaker 1: Police Chief Michael Ryder, concerned about the state prosecution, sent
• 7:20
Speaker 1: his evidence to the FBI. Palm Beach PD had found
• 7:24
Speaker 1: dozens of young women and underage girls telling similar stories
• 7:28
Speaker 1: of sexual abuse at Epstein's Palm Beach mansion. The FBI
• 7:32
Speaker 1: found even more victims. Epstein attorney Kenneth Starr appealed to
• 7:36
Speaker 1: the Justice Department to invalidate the non-prosecution agreement Epstein had
• 7:40
Speaker 1: just signed, but the DOJ declined. A federal grand jury
• 7:44
Speaker 1: had prepared a 60-count indictment that Epstein escaped because of
• 7:48
Speaker 1: that agreement. Gonzalez is not included in the report of
• 7:52
Speaker 1: an extensive DOJ investigation of whether the prosecutors had committed
• 7:57
Speaker 1: professional misconduct. Well, yeah, they sure did. And it's funny
• 8:02
Speaker 1: that all the people that were in that OIG report
• 8:04
Speaker 1: that were mentioned as the brains, if you will, none
• 8:08
Speaker 1: of them are being called to testify. Not one of them.
• 8:11
Speaker 1: Next up, we have Jeff Sessions, former U.S. Attorney General.
• 8:15
Speaker 1: And he is scheduled to go up there and give
• 8:18
Speaker 1: his testimony or deposition on August 28th. Sessions was U.S.
• 8:23
Speaker 1: Attorney General from 2017 to 2018, preceding Barr during Trump's
• 8:28
Speaker 1: first term. During Sessions' term, the U.S. Department of Justice
• 8:32
Speaker 1: litigated a lawsuit with survivor Courtney Wilde, who lives in
• 8:36
Speaker 1: Palm Beach County, claiming federal prosecutors had violated the Crime
• 8:40
Speaker 1: Victims Rights Act. Lyle filed suit a week after Epstein
• 8:44
Speaker 1: pleaded guilty to prostitution-related charges in state court in 2008.
• 8:48
Speaker 1: Lyle claimed that because she and others hadn't been notified
• 8:53
Speaker 1: of the plea deal or given a chance for input,
• 8:56
Speaker 1: federal prosecutors violated the law. She and survivor Virginia Roberts
• 9:00
Speaker 1: sought to reverse the plea deal and revive a 60-count
• 9:03
Speaker 1: federal indictment drafted in 2007. The suit went on for
• 9:08
Speaker 1: years until U.S. District Judge Kenneth Mara of West Palm
• 9:12
Speaker 1: Beach ruled in February of 2019 that the law had
• 9:15
Speaker 1: been violated. Epstein died about six months later, making any
• 9:19
Speaker 1: prosecution against him for the 2007 charges impossible. So Mara
• 9:25
Speaker 1: had to declare it moot. It was the same year
• 9:27
Speaker 1: Epstein was arrested on separate sex trafficking charges in New York.
• 9:32
Speaker 1: Former FBI Director Robert Mueller. He's scheduled for September 2nd.
• 9:38
Speaker 1: Although the subpoena letter doesn't state specifically what the committee
• 9:41
Speaker 1: wants to question Mueller about, Mueller was FBI director from
• 9:45
Speaker 1: 2001 to 2013 during the FBI's investigation of Epstein in
• 9:50
Speaker 1: the Southern District of Florida from 2006 to 2008. Mueller
• 9:54
Speaker 1: isn't mentioned anywhere in an extensive summary of DOJ investigation
• 9:58
Speaker 1: into whether federal prosecutors mishandled the Epstein case. And again,
• 10:03
Speaker 1: it's all by design, folks. All of these people that
• 10:06
Speaker 1: they're calling up, great, fine. But none of them were
• 10:09
Speaker 1: behind the sticks. None of them were moving the needle.
• 10:12
Speaker 1: Four years after his stint at the FBI, he was
• 10:15
Speaker 1: tapped as special prosecutor during Trump's first term to investigate
• 10:19
Speaker 1: allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 election. His report
• 10:25
Speaker 1: concluded that illegal Russian interference occurred in sweeping and systematic
• 10:29
Speaker 1: fashion and was welcomed by the Trump campaign, which is
• 10:33
Speaker 1: highly disputed now, by the way. Loretta Lynch, former U.S.
• 10:37
Speaker 1: Attorney General, what? She was never even mentioned once in
• 10:40
Speaker 1: any documentation, so why is she being called up? She's
• 10:44
Speaker 1: expected to come up on September 9th and give her testimony.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: Lynch was U.S. Attorney General from 2015 to 2017, and
• 10:53
Speaker 1: like Sessions, the federal government was litigating the Crime Victims
• 10:56
Speaker 1: Act lawsuit during her tenure. Lynch headed the DOJ while
• 11:00
Speaker 1: the FBI investigated Hillary Clinton's private email server and whether
• 11:04
Speaker 1: it held classified or secret correspondence that should have been
• 11:07
Speaker 1: conducted on government servers. Former FBI Director James Comey was
• 11:13
Speaker 1: most prominent in that investigation and and another one announced
• 11:16
Speaker 1: days before the 2016 election in which Clinton vied against
• 11:21
Speaker 1: Trump for the White House. Next up, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland,
• 11:26
Speaker 1: former U.S. Attorney's General. Eric Holder, September 30th. Holder served
• 11:31
Speaker 1: as U.S. Attorney General from 2009 to 2015, during which
• 11:35
Speaker 1: time the Crime Victims Rights Act litigation was in court.
• 11:39
Speaker 1: He served under former President Barack Obama. Epstein finished his
• 11:43
Speaker 1: sentence at the Palm Beach County Jail the year Holder
• 11:46
Speaker 1: was appointed. Again, I'm not saying Holder shouldn't be talked
• 11:49
Speaker 1: to about other things, but Epstein, come on, kind of
• 11:52
Speaker 1: a waste of time. Merrick Garland, October 2nd. During Garland's
• 11:57
Speaker 1: tenure as U.S. Attorney General from 2021 to 2025, Glenn
• 12:02
Speaker 1: Maxwell went on trial for sex trafficking of minor charges,
• 12:05
Speaker 1: was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison. The
• 12:09
Speaker 1: subpoena letter also says the Department of Justice under Garland
• 12:13
Speaker 1: refused to release any new or non-public Epstein files. Garland
• 12:17
Speaker 1: served under former President Joe Biden. Well, that's true. They
• 12:21
Speaker 1: didn't release shit. And guess what? I was screaming and
• 12:24
Speaker 1: yelling about that too. This problem is systemic. And all
• 12:28
Speaker 1: the people we're talking about, they're all just symptoms of
• 12:31
Speaker 1: the greater illness. And that illness is wholesale corruption when
• 12:35
Speaker 1: it comes to the people that are in charge of
• 12:37
Speaker 1: our lives. whether it's in the financial sector or politics.
• 12:43
Speaker 1: James Comey, former FBI director. James Comey, October 7th. Comey
• 12:48
Speaker 1: was director of the FBI from 2013 to 2017. The
• 12:52
Speaker 1: subpoena letter does not specify what the committee wants to
• 12:55
Speaker 1: hear from him, though ironically his daughter Maureen prosecuted both
• 13:00
Speaker 1: the Epstein and Maxwell cases in the Southern District of
• 13:03
Speaker 1: New York. Maureen Comey was fired by the DOJ in
• 13:06
Speaker 1: July for unknown reasons. Well, I think it has something
• 13:09
Speaker 1: to do with Clayton Howard. And I have that lawsuit
• 13:11
Speaker 1: that he filed against Diddy and Cassie Ventura. And over
• 13:15
Speaker 1: the weekend, I'm going to share it with you. Comey
• 13:19
Speaker 1: served the majority of his time in office under Obama
• 13:22
Speaker 1: and months into Trump's first term. Comey was fired by Trump.
• 13:26
Speaker 1: Comey leaked a private memo in which he said Trump
• 13:29
Speaker 1: asked him to end the FBI's investigation of Michael Flynn,
• 13:32
Speaker 1: Trump's national security advisor, during the first 22 days and
• 13:36
Speaker 1: of Trump's first administration. Next up, we have the Clintons.
• 13:40
Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton's schedule for October 9th. The committee's subpoena letter
• 13:44
Speaker 1: says the former Secretary of State's family appears to have
• 13:47
Speaker 1: had a close relationship with both Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirator,
• 13:51
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell. Appears, huh? No, they did. 100%. 100%. Moreover,
• 13:59
Speaker 1: your husband was allegedly close to Ms. Maxwell, while Ms.
• 14:03
Speaker 1: Maxwell's nephew worked for your 2008 presidential campaign and was
• 14:07
Speaker 1: hired by the State Department shortly after you became Secretary
• 14:11
Speaker 1: of State. The nephew, Alexander Dorossi, in his 20s, with
• 14:16
Speaker 1: limited foreign policy experience, reportedly landed a prominent role in
• 14:20
Speaker 1: the State Department. I reported on this years ago. Where
• 14:24
Speaker 1: was the legacy media talking about it then? It was
• 14:27
Speaker 1: a big deal then, it's a big deal now, and
• 14:29
Speaker 1: finally people are starting to take notice. Bill Clinton, October
• 14:34
Speaker 1: 14th The subpoena letter says by your own admission you
• 14:38
Speaker 1: flew on Jeffrey Epstein's private plane four separate times in
• 14:42
Speaker 1: 2002 and 2003. During one of these trips you were
• 14:45
Speaker 1: even pictured receiving a massage from one of Mr. Epstein's victims.
• 14:48
Speaker 1: The letter goes on to say, Epstein survivor Shantae Davies
• 14:53
Speaker 1: told the New York Post that she cracked Bill Clinton's
• 14:55
Speaker 1: neck after a ride on Epstein's plane and that he
• 14:58
Speaker 1: was a perfect gentleman during the trip. Photos show him
• 15:02
Speaker 1: and 22-year-old Davies fully clothed during the massage. The letter
• 15:07
Speaker 1: adds it has also been claimed that you pressured Vanity
• 15:09
Speaker 1: Fair not to publish sex trafficking allegations against your good
• 15:13
Speaker 1: friend Mr. Epstein and there are conflicting reports about whether
• 15:17
Speaker 1: you ever visited Mr. Epstein's island. You were also allegedly
• 15:21
Speaker 1: close to Ms. Ghislaine Maxwell, an Epstein co-conspirator, and attended
• 15:26
Speaker 1: an intimate dinner with her in 2014, three years after
• 15:29
Speaker 1: public reports about her involvement in Mr. Epstein's abuse of minors. Boom. Finally,
• 15:35
Speaker 1: somebody says it. I feel like I've been yelling into
• 15:39
Speaker 1: the void for years about this. Finally, the Clintons are
• 15:42
Speaker 1: going to have to answer some questions, it looks like.
• 15:45
Speaker 1: And guess what? It couldn't happen to a better set
• 15:48
Speaker 1: of people. All right, folks, I was going to add
• 15:50
Speaker 1: a second article here, but instead we're going to wrap
• 15:53
Speaker 1: up right here with this one article. And then in
• 15:55
Speaker 1: the coming episodes, we're going to talk more about Trump
• 15:58
Speaker 1: and what he has privately said about the Epstein accusers. Also,
• 16:02
Speaker 1: I've had some people ask me how they can help
• 16:04
Speaker 1: support the show. And if you want to do that,
• 16:07
Speaker 1: the link will be provided with all the other information
• 16:10
Speaker 1: that goes along with the show in the description box.
