- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Reality We've Got Thoughts.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: So we have a great big episode for you this week because Dancing with the Stars is in full swing.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: So we're going to recap last night's episode.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: We also are going to talk about um Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which already started and has started off really well.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: But tonight there's going to be a great big episode for that.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: We're going to talk about Jeff Lewis still flipping out that's coming on Monday.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: And we are going to get into it.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: So much good stuff right now.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: But first, we did have a big weekend.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: We were in Auburn visiting our daughters and um that go to college there.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: So what'd you think?
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: What did we all think of SEC football weekends?
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: If you think you know football, you don't know football until you've experienced SEC football, college football.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: It's an experience all of its own.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: It was a fun weekend.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: I had a good time.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: It was good.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: We got scared because we almost thought we were going to get rained out.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: There was a horrible rainstorm, but luckily it was gone before the game came.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: But um, my one daughter had this brunch at her house.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Like, I swear we were not doing this when we were in college.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: We were lucky to make it to the game.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: It was a night game, it was a late kickoff.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: So we were supposed to be at her place at 11:30.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: And I mean, she's got these guys that live next door.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: They had grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue, they had all this food.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: It was crazy.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: So it was really fun.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: We met a lot of the other parents and everything.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: But the main thing is the clothing.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Like, if you have not been to SEC football, it's like a fashion show, right?
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: It is 100% a fashion show.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: It's I grew up on the West Coast.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: So going to football games, you wore shorts, t-shirt, jeans, hoodie, whatever.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Not in the SEC.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: It's wild.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: It's so fun, like seeing all the different outfits.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: Everyone gets really into all the themes.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: And for me, it was crazy because it was Florida versus Auburn, and I'm a Florida grad.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: So I forgot what it was like to be in a stadium where you're there and everybody around you is rooting for the other team.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: We had a couple other Florida people, but you actually end up sitting.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: We ended up sitting, so we were cheering for Auburn, but we ended up sitting right smack in the middle of all the Florida fans.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: So that was a whole experience in itself.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, it's crazy.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: It was fun.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: But it was a really fun weekend.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: And in the end, Florida did win the game, but it was close.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: But it was a really big, exciting football weekend.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: One of the other things going on in the SEC was the LSU Ole Miss game.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: And that has been some crazy drama.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: If you're not following that.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: It was Lane Kiffin's return to Oxford, and the fans were not happy with him.
- 3:17SPEAKER_01: Let him know it.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: So that was a really good game.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: And they um Ole Miss scored right at the end to win.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was an exciting game.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: So now Ole Miss is going to Florida this week, this weekend.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: So um so how did you handle that with your girls where you were a Florida fan and Florida won the game?
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Well, it was crazy because beforehand they were asking me if I was going to root for Auburn, and several people were thinking I was gonna root for Auburn.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: I'm like, that's not how it works.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: Like I was rooting for the school I graduated from.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: However, you kept your outfit that pretty neutral.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: So if unless you knew, you didn't know no.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: If you follow us on Instagram, which if you don't, you need to follow us at reality, we've got thoughts.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: But I did post some pictures of Debbie and I from the weekend, and I did my outfits were a little bit neutral.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: The one blue dress I had on was more royal blue, but it's definitely made it easier that Florida and Auburn have super similar colors.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: So I was a little under the radar when it came to that.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: It's definitely up to your orange game, though.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: When I went to Starbucks the next morning, I was gonna wear my Gator's hat and I was like, oh, I don't want to rub it in too much.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: So I just wore it when I went to get on the plane to go home.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: You gloated a little bit.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: I did, you know.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: It was I was definitely happy.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: I'm glad.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: And you know, both if you don't know, both teams have new coaches, which is pretty cool.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: So I'm excited for Auburn too.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: They're playing great.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, we'll see.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: And haven't had a history of playing great.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: They've had some rough seasons, so it's it was actually I had low expectations for how the game was gonna play out, and I was pleasantly surprised with how close the game actually was.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it'll be it'll be really good.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: It'll be neat to see both teams hopefully grow with these new coaches.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: And um, and as far as the SEC, the Gators are like number three in the SEC right now, and Auburn's like 20 or something.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: There's so many teams in the SEC now, but it's definitely gonna be exciting to watch.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: Exciting to watch.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: And uh and we had fun going back to college for a weekend, so so that was good.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: It's so different from when we were there though, don't you feel?
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: When I was at Florida, we certainly weren't dressing up.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: We did have fun.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: A lot of the never in my life did I think I would wear a dress to a football game, let alone a white dress to a football game.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, because now everything's a theme, also.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: That's a thing.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Like based on where you were sitting in the stadium, it was a stripe out.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: So if you were sitting in a certain section, you were supposed to wear orange, certain section blue, certain section white.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: So you had the white section.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Um, we had the orange section.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: So, like you said, it let me kind of blend in, blend in a little bit.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: You blended in pretty good.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: So it was a good weekend, tiring, but all that was good.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: So I definitely was ready to relax last night and just get cozy for the two-hour dancing with the stars, where all 14 contestants were competing.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: It was a good one.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: It was a really good, really good night.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: Um, but you know what?
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Before we get into the to breaking down the dancers, let's talk about Julian's wardrobe.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: What is what is she trying to do this season?
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: I I don't know if she has a stylist that's picking stuff out for her or if she is doing it herself.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: But every single night that she has had a completely different look where she, I feel like she's aging herself five years every single time.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: I seriously want to know if she's punking us.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: And I did see some people online agreeing with you and I that the outfits are horrendous.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: Like, I she is a beautiful young woman.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: She's beautiful, everything else.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: The hairstyles, like all this stuff.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: But that outfit, literally, I just kept thinking it looked like something that was left on the Marshall's clearance rack.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't know what that was.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Either that or something cut out of her grandmother's closet and piece stuff together.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: It almost looked like she had on a slip and then a dress over the slip with funky slip coming out of the top that was a different color.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: It was just it was a crazy, like glittery sweater dress with lace coming out here, here.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: It kind of the dress itself kind of reminded me of curtains.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, so it's crazy because this is literally going to become a thing for me where I'm almost going to be tuning in more to see what our outfits improve.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Forget if the dancers are improved.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: Maybe that's the point.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: Maybe that's what they're trying to do this season is get draw some interest in other areas.
- 7:27SPEAKER_01: So people are watching for these.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: I mean, they say, you know, any press is good press.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: So all right.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: So getting into the dancers, what did you think?
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: Jenna was first.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: Jenna and Val went first with the jive.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: I loved their costumes.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: I know they got a lot of backlash online for some for their costumes.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: They kind of had like an animal theme.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: Um, but I loved it.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: I thought they looked great together.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: Uh her prior dance experience definitely shone through with her choreography.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: She's a performer.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: She is a natural performer, I think.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: She it was good.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: I know some people's, I liked the outfits too.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: It went with the song choice, and you know, some people said they were distracting, but I thought they both looked good.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Their hair looked good, all that.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: Um, so it was hard coming back out.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: They did get all sevens, which was kind of high in a good way.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: So they got 21 out of 30 because, as the judges said, they're gonna be, you know, keeping it competitive at the at the beginning.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: So I thought it was great.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: The judges liked it.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: Bruno said he counted the whole way through, and she did not miss a beat.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: So that was huge.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: It was good.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: All right, moving on.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: We've got Sierra and Bryant Brandon did the tango.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: And how what'd you think of their dance?
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: It was okay.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: I want to like her, I wanna, I wanna, you know, root for her, but I just thought the costumes were just okay, the dance was okay.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: It just was kind of flat to me.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, it was fine.
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: Like there was nothing spectacular about it.
- 8:53SPEAKER_01: And I think the judges kind of felt the same way.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: He uh Carrie Ann did she was really proud and it made her happy because she thought that she was in it to win it.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: Because she could see improvement from last week, but she was not my favorite.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it was funny how she, you know, it definitely picked her song to give a little shade to one of her exes and and and all that.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: So so that was and I think do they get to pick their own songs every week?
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: I think they give them yeah, they give them choice.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: I believe they give them choices and they pick.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: Like it's in the theme, and then so this week's theme was viral hits night.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: So I think they give each of them a choice and then it and then they end up narrow it down.
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: All right, moving on to Tyler and is it Sharna?
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: Sharna, I think is how you say her.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: Is that how you say it?
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and they did a salsa, and ooh, he showed his muscles.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I just I know like he's a big guy, so he can do a lot more.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: Like all that lifting her up.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: It did, it really showcased how muscular he is and strong he can.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: And I love her, like she is, you know, you know better than me, but she seems like she's so good.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: Like she seems like she's a very good dancer.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: There is something about him that I that's just icky to me.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: He's like dorky or something, like yeah, and if I mean, even Derek said that was more cabaret style, like it was more showy than it was a salsa.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: Exactly, because he wasn't really showing the salsa.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: Like, I know they want to make it into a performance and something different.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: Yes, if he's gonna do it.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: Like he started off with a half top, then took the whole shirt off.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: There's just something about him.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Now I will say she must really trust him because that move at the end where she lets him like drop her, and her face is like inches from the ground.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, one move, like I give her a lot of credit for.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: I wonder how many times he dropped her in practice.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: I wish they'd show that.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: It I mean, she would have been dropped literally on her face.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: You're talking like teeth out, broken nose.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: That was a gutsy, that was a gussy gutsy move.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: Um, but again, they the judges obviously thought the same, you know, just like they said, Bruno cracked me up because he was like, it's a great view.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: But their scores definitely reflected some of the things that were missing.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: How do we feel about so the third judge to give their comments only got to use one word?
- 11:18SPEAKER_01: Derek had never used one word or had jumble words together, and I just thought that was Derek.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: I mean, kind of silly.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: Can you not come up with one word?
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, just one word.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: Not that word.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that annoyed me the whole night.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: All right, Julia and Ezra.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: They didn't know.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: I thought they started off really saucy, but then I felt like she became very stiff.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: I think that um her nerves got in the way.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: I think her outfit was gorgeous.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: I love the song.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: Um I love Teddy Swim, so I thought the song absolutely loved that song.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: Um, I think her story is good.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: You know, I was when in in her package before the dance, when she talks about starting out young and that she was in the public eye and kind of really into it then, but now she had shined away from it.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: She's leaning back into it.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: She's got leads a more private lifestyle.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: Um, if you follow her Instagram, she had a really cute post when she apparently got a ton of new followers.
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: Did you see that?
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was cute, right?
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: That was cute.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: That was cute.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: I like her.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: I I do, I like her.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it just felt like her dance fell flat.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: And even Carrie Ann said, you know, she just needs to relax a little.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and she's, I mean, she's 45 years old, not to call her out her age, but again, give her a lot of credit.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: She had the high expectations.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: Um something that I think is so funny is kind of like the Andy Cohen beef of it all.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: Like the fact that, you know, Andy Andy says, made some comment that Julia Stiles is not a dancer.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: And he, um, you know, I I do listen to his radio show on and off, and he had said something.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: So he did come out and apologize because when last week when she basically called him out on it and said, like, I want to prove him wrong, and I want to get, you know, the mirror ball and like go on watch what happens live.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Um, he does a thing.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: If you don't watch watch what happens live, at the end of his show, he does like a jack hole the week and and a muzzle of the week, like a good and a bad, and um like a rose and thorn type thing, or of the day or the week.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: And he gave himself the jack hole for having shoated her.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: So he did, he made it cute and he apologized and said she did good.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: But um, but again, her their score, you know, she got the same score as she was 13.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so the scores kind of you know, did it it kind of reflected that, yeah.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: Okay, Jackson and Emma.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: I'm so glad they didn't put them in yellow this week.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, because I was worried about that.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: I was so worried they could have to see that banana yellow every week.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they can't keep doing that.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: But could you imagine balancing this dancing with the stars schedule with his Savannah Banana schedule?
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: Because he's still playing, they're still in season playing games.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: So just having to travel back and forth to do these games and beyond learning these dance moves.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: I can't imagine balancing all that.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because he also posted something or somewhere he was talking about that schedule of how he is like doing the rehearsals and then going back and then flying back to the performances.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: So grueling, it's insane.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: So I mean, after a weekend at Auburn, I needed a full day to recover.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: Yes, I was tired.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: I was definitely tired.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: So they did a foxtrot.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: They did, it was very graceful, I thought.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and Carrie Ann thought that they definitely improved, thought that they settled in and that the partnership was working, that he had relaxed this week.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: The twirling looked a little bumpy to me, but his footwork and the dance itself looked smoother.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: It was smoother.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: He was more relaxed this week for sure.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: And I thought it was cute how he said that the banana fans, like Banana Nation, is come out in full force to support him.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: And embracing Emma and all and all that.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Um, so so he did good.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: Hey, how about Jada and Alan?
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, geez.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: Wait, no, they did the salsa.
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she didn't.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: It's just she's an awkward dancer.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: I don't know how else to put it, but she just is so stiff and uncomfortable in her own body when she's out there dancing that she just looks awkward, I feel like.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I agreed with you.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: I had said the same thing that I thought she looked awkward in the beginning.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: Um, she did look a little bit better later in the dance.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: Um, and I don't know why they would do that move with the split when she couldn't actually do the split.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Like, why could that be the air?
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: Um, and obviously we saw in the package that they had been arguing a bit and the and everything.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: So it didn't surprise me uh with their their low scores.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: And um, oh, it was Carrie Ann's turn to do a one-word.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: And do you remember she said shaky?
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: She said shaky, yep.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: Which which it was shaky.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: I heard shady, but it was it was shaky, it was very shaky, and sorry, and I just think that she uh was not comfortable with she's just not comfortable out there.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: I mean it's very clear she's not comfortable out there, but hey, props to her.
- 16:13SPEAKER_01: She is 54 years old or 56.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: I feel like we're older.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's yeah, I mean, she's in her 50s.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: She's 56, she's 56.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: Getting out, doing something.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: Getting out, doing something yeah, completely out of her comfort zone.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: She's doing this for her daughter who just started college this year, so she's got a daughter, our six daughters same age.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: Um, it's scary.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: So props to her for putting herself out there.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's clear she's uncomfortable.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: I give her credit for that.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: All right, who's next?
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: So Connor and Riley.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: Yep, Connor and Riley were next.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: They did the tango.
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: And I've always just loved Riley.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: I I love her.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: I think she's got such a bubbly, fun personality.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: So whoever she gets paired with, you're gonna see some of that personality come out of them.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: Um about the song?
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: Did you like the song?
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: I thought the song was weird.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Eh, it was just eh.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: But you never know what he was given to choose from.
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: They did the tango.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: I do I love that I do love them together though.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: I think their chemistry together is good.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: I like them together.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: They had a lot of mistakes though.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: Well, that was the thing.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: It was funny because I literally thought that to my untrained eye, I was like, oh, the dancing looks good, but I was curious what the judges were gonna say because I could I could tell that.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: And that was the first thing Bruno said is oof, a lot of mistakes, a lot of mistakes.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: And I, and you know it, you're aware.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: And dance is hard.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Like I'm not a dancer by trade, but I raised a dancer, so I've watched, I watched it her whole life.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: If you get one little timing thing off, it can mess with your whole dance.
- 17:46SPEAKER_01: Throws the whole thing off.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: Throws the whole thing off.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: So he could have just gotten thrown off at the beginning and it just kind of threw him off the whole time, especially if you're not a natural dancer that can just pick it right up.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think it was obvious that Carrie Ann did not like it because she was she was like, she was like, it's such a shame.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: She was like, it would be going along, and I would be like, oh no, no, oh no, no, oh no, no.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: Like she was really, you could tell, like I thought it was like kind of Carrie Ann tends to be the most critical, I feel like, but then she also brought it back in and said, But the choreography was fantastic, and I love this partnership together, which is not so they've got time to improve.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: They've got time to improve.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: I do.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: I I I predict that he will go far, partly because of his he already has such a following in his social media.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: Um I I I threw some votes in for you last night.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: Like I like him.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: I think I think that he'll be I want to see, I want to continue to see him grow because I think he's got a lot of potential there.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: I do too.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yep.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: All right, Ezra and Daniela and the cha-cha.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: And gosh, where do you start on this one?
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: Last last week when he danced, I got teary-eyed.
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: This week it was even worse for me.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: I got more teary-eyed.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: He is just so phenomenally incredible with what he can do with his disability.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: And what Daniela is able to do and bring out his strengths to showcase what he's capable of is unreal to me.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: His attitude, like I was speechless after the dance, and like you said, I mean, his attitude about things is just insane, so inspirational.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, the Cha Cha is probably the most difficult dance, and he got out there and made it look so easy.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: They I literally got done, and I just sat there and I went, Wow, wow.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like how did he do so well with being like that?
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: It's just you almost forget that he is dealing with the one leg because it was beautiful.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: Well, you lose it.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: You you completely forget that he's got a disability, which is what's so incredible about it.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I loved it.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: Just like the judges were blown away.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: It was clear, every single judge thought it was amazing.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: Bruno was fabulous.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, at least Bruno stepped up.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: Bruno stepped one word.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: Bruno, Bruno had the good one words when it was his turn to do one word, and he was like fabulous.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: And they got all sevens, which was good.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: So, so that was good.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: They were probably my favorite of the night.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: Oh wow.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they were they were up there.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: The costumes were good, song was good.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: All of it was really good.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm excited for them to continue.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: Tatiana and Jan, they did the foxtrot.
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: And much improved from last week, I felt like uh she's still a little uncomfortable dancing.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's clear that she's uncomfortable.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: She has an emotional draw for me.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: Like there's just something about her that you just feel drawn to her emotionally and what she's trying to prove, not only to herself, but to the world.
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: And I think hers is a neat story.
- 20:42SPEAKER_00: I agree with you totally.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: I liked her, I put some votes in for her last night.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: I liked the song.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: Who did you not vote for?
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: I know, I'm bad.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: I didn't vote for everyone.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: I voted for I voted for who did I who did I vote?
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: Oh, I voted for Connor, I voted for Tatiana, I voted for Ezra some, and I voted for Jackson the whole thing.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: And I threw a couple to more, even though I think she's fine anyway.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: But I know I was bad.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: I was like, should I be voting?
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: But I was like, Yeah, that's what it's for.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: Okay, so I did vote.
- 21:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, I really did like her.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: Did he hit her head on that frame at the beginning?
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: Yes, at the very beginning.
- 21:16SPEAKER_01: As I'm coming through the frame, and I'm surprised the judges didn't say something about it because the recovery, she didn't even like skip it.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like she was just like going and the recovery or the like she didn't have a reaction, but he hit her head on that.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: She didn't somehow her head hit that thing.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Knocked or knocked in.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: And that was so creative.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: Like I loved at the end when she like looked back and then it was the mirror.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: Like, I it was I I love I love the storyline behind that one.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was and was this one of the only ones where Derek actually was able to do one word?
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: No, he said breathtaking and stunning.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, he said two words.
- 21:49SPEAKER_01: Yes, he said.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he said at least two words, but he wasn't the last one to go.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: He he could have said a hundred words.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: I think on hers, it was Carrie Ann was the last one to go.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: And she said it was touching.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Carrie Ann was the so she which I think was the perfect summation of the dance.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: It was very touching.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: Go carry Ann.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: All right, Amber and Pasha.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: They did the tango.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: With her, I hope every single week is not ice themed.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: She's an incredible ice skater.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: But there's a theme going on with her where everything is related to ice.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: The song they chose had to do with hockey and the hockey movie.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: And I don't want to see that ice theme every week with her because that's not all that she's about.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're right.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: I think they gotta get past that.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: And it's like we didn't want to see.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: Jackson in yellow for every single dance.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Because I did like the dress that she had.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: She's super strong.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: She is an incredible dancer, I feel.
- 22:49SPEAKER_01: She's she's got the body strength she needs.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: She's got the rhythm that she needs.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: But I feel like she's lacking some personality there.
- 22:58unknown: Yeah.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: I don't like a flat.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: So that's what honestly.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: We asked our daughters what they thought because they're watching too.
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: And Blake and Tatum both thought that Amber is an amazing dancer, but that's what they said.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: They don't think that she has the personality to actually win.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Because when it comes down to it, you got to have both.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: You got to connect and get people to also vote for you.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: And that's what they were saying, that they don't think she'll get because she got 21.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: She got all seven.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: She got 21.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: Um, that Bruno said it was the best tango of the night.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: Period.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: He said, period.
- 23:32SPEAKER_00: And um, but I tend to agree with Blake and Tatum.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: I think there's gonna be other people.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: They mentioned Jenna, Harry, Ezra, people that are gonna have that have more of a personality, but you just feel connected to like you you know when you watch someone, you're like, oh, I want to be their friend.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: I don't I just don't feel that with her.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: That connection's not there.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I do agree.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: She's obviously, yeah, because like we said, she's obviously in amazing physical shape.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: She's a great dancer, but it'll be interesting to see what happens.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: But I do love that she's stretching herself beyond what she's used to because she's not used to being with a partner at all.
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: She's just oh yeah, of course.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: She's not a partner skater, she's she's a solo skater, and so it's completely stretching her beyond what she's used to that way.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: Very true.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: So I love to see that.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: Moving on to Guillermo and Whitney.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: I know Sadoblay.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: You know what?
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: The choreography was perfect for him.
- 24:31SPEAKER_01: Whitney is so good making him look good.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: The choreography, it really was.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: It was perfect for him.
- 24:39SPEAKER_01: He's limited on what he can do because of his size and his shape and everything.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: And she recognizes that.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: And they made a joke that, oh, we're dealing with two pregnant people here.
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: That was so funny.
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: And it's so cute to see her little bump poking out.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, she's a trooper having him as a partner and dancing pregnant.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: His face was so funny because he talked about how he had to try to be more serious for the possibility.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: And his face was hilarious.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: And he had such a hard time staying serious.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: And all I kept thinking during the whole dance, even though it wasn't that, I was like, he has to be eliminated tonight.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: Like he has to.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: Um but I feel like he's kind of the Andy Richter of the year.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he might be right.
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, and Andy had people's hearts because he just his personality shown on out there, and Guillermo's personality is out there for the world.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: So should we try to do a prediction?
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: How long do you think he'll last?
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: I think he's probably only got one or two more episodes in him, to be honest.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: We'll see.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: That'll be interesting.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: It depends.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: Well, someone's gonna have to screw up really bad and have a really bad night.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because who would get eliminated before him?
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: I don't think it'll be Tatiana now.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: I would have thought it would be her, but after last night, I don't think it will be her because I think people are gonna be more attracted, attached to her.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: Giada's already gone.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: Um, unless it's our next person.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: Maybe Ciara.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: We'll see how I don't know how big those Summer House fans are.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: We'll see.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: Summer House, if you don't know, is a Bravo show about a bunch of young people from New York City who go and rent a house in the summer and all this stuff, and it's evolved into a bunch of different things.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: But that's where she is, and she actually had a thing where her best friend cheated with her man and all this stuff.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: So it's like another Bravo cheating scandal.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Another big one.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: But it'll be it'll be interesting.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Ooh, Taylor.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: Taylor and Britt did the cha-cha.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: His hair.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: I don't know what he did to his hair.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: Did he cut it for the show?
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: He he cut it.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: So remember last week it was like too long and it was flipping his face and everything.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: So definitely he got a haircut, whether it's like the show hair and makeup people.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Well, I remember watching something that Derek was saying, you'll notice in ballroom, everyone's hair is kind of slicked back.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: And that's because the the movements, you don't want to be focused on the hair moving full time.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: You want to be focused on the arms, the posture, all that kind of stuff.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: And there were other people online commenting about Taylor's hair that they did not like it.
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: So I noticed right away that he had gotten a haircut, but it's still and when he was back in the day when he was oh yeah, it was like down.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: And so everybody's used to Taylor with the long hair, and that's probably pre-family for him.
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, pre-kids, pre-there's a lot we do, but pre-family and pre-kids.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: So they did the cha cha, like you said, to cake by the ocean.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: So what'd you think of the performance?
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: Honestly, I didn't expect it to be so good.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: I thought it was better than I expected.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: For sure.
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: I had low expectations for it.
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: I didn't love, love, love it, but it was better than I expected.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: Um, and he did, you know, basically they um Bruno gave him some feed advice.
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: Um, Derek told him to focus on the elbows, the shoulders.
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: They like they did he did get a lot of feedback.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: He probably got the most detailed feedback.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: He did, because it Bruno especially said don't plant your feet.
- 28:17SPEAKER_01: You have to keep loose feet and keep them fluid.
- 28:19SPEAKER_01: Um, and he because he kept planting his feet when he was doing the different moves.
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: So it'll be interesting.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: I wonder if he may be next to go.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: He might be next to go.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: He might be next to go.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: He might Guillermo might live to dance another day.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: Harry and Jenna did the Viennese waltz.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: Which is a very difficult dance.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: She is so good.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: I love her.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: Can I just have her abs for like one day?
- 28:45SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: She's so incredibly strong.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: Shh what did you think of the dance?
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: I liked it.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: I I liked it.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: I think he's good.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: I think it wasn't as good as his first dance.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: Agreed.
- 28:57SPEAKER_00: But I think and people were already um and which the judges uh, you know, gave him some feedback there.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: I didn't think it was as good.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: And um, I know this is the dance thing, but I was probably at the end, I swear he literally like grabbed her.
- 29:13unknown: I know.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: I know that's just the way the dancing is.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: It's like they have to touch each other so much.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: But I was like, and he probably didn't even touch just the way it looked, it just looked that way.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: He probably just slid his hand in front of her and it wasn't even touching.
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: It was the move.
- 29:25SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's fine, yeah.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: And maybe it's for TV.
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: Maybe it's get ratings.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: Exactly, exactly.
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um, no, but I I was it it was underwhelming compared to last week.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: I thought he was much better last week.
- 29:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but I think he will hang on for a couple of years.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: I think he'll go towards the end.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: People love him, and so it'll be good.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: Agreed.
- 29:43SPEAKER_01: How about Mara and Mark doing the cha-cha?
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: So I think I made it clear that I love both of them.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: I was I'm a huge Traders fan and I loved their season of Traders.
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: It was so good.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: If you didn't see it, you could go back and watch, especially if you don't know what happened or whatever.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: Um, but it, you know, it'll just be interesting to see.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: Like in the package, I guess that's all genuine.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: Like she's acting like she couldn't do all that stuff.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: But then when she came out, I thought she did pretty good.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: It was entertaining, I thought.
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: But I wanted more.
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: There was just an element missing.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: I wanted more from them.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: Because I think they're capable of it.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: And I'm probably by, you know, I'm biased because I like them both, but um, but I think they are gonna have to bring it because I think now people have a high expectation, which is what happens when you start out really strong at the beginning.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: It's like if you start out kind of bad, then there's nowhere to go but up, and people are just impressed by a tiny bit.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: Well, and they were really good last week.
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: And even Carrie Ann, so she validated my feeling that I was like, I just wanted more.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: And then Carrie Ann said, it was a little safer than last time.
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: Which is exactly what I thought.
- 30:54SPEAKER_00: Yes, because Carrie Ann is right.
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: Last week she came out just a little more free and going.
- 30:58SPEAKER_00: And I think now she is putting that pressure on herself, even from doing so well last week.
- 31:05SPEAKER_00: So it was too guarded.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: Like she needs to just go out and and do it.
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, I can't imagine the pressure that goes into this week after week after week.
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: You're the grueling hours when your body's not used to it.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: Probably so sore all day, every day.
- 31:21SPEAKER_01: And then having to remember the choreography when that's not your specialty, when you're not normally lift remembering choreography.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's hard enough for me to remember how to get to the dry cleaner someday.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so it was it was really good.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: Um, oh, in the audience, do you if if people are Love Island fans, they probably saw Rob in the audience.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: And um, do you I don't know if you know if Rob from Love Island, but so he he ended up winning traders and but he fooled her till the very end.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: She trusted him, and so he was holding the Birkin because some of you may have heard the story about at the very end when he had to tell her, like, no, I'm a traitor.
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: She was like, You're lying.
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: Like, she literally did not believe Rob.
- 32:07SPEAKER_00: Because he was so good, he was so good, and I was we were all like yelling through the TV for her not to trust him, but she really trusted him.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think didn't she say to him, You could never have a relationship because you're too good of a lawyer.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: And she and Mark tried to tell her, like, Mark tried to tell her because the three of them were super close, and Mark started figuring it out, and then they got rid of Mark.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: Like, it was crazy.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: So, um, so it was kind of cute that I guess he she, you know, I guess he asked how she could make it up to him, and he he went and bought her that Birkin at um at a reseller in New York.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: It was a cute story.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: So he had the burkin, he was saying, and at the beginning when they came out in the dance, he kind of threw the they the mark had that fake Birkin or whatever.
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: Anyway, it was funny.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: But it'll be interesting to see.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: I do think that that should go far.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: Um so before we tell who got who got kicked off.
- 33:03SPEAKER_00: You already divulged.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: We did.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we divulged earlier.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: No, no, we didn't.
- 33:09SPEAKER_01: I don't think we said it.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: Giata's gone.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: I don't think I did.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: We'll just replay the tape.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: We'll replay my memories, my memory's bad.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: But okay are you surprised?
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: Giada got kicked off.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: No, if not surprised.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: I um when I was when they were listing um, I even wrote in my notes, I think it will be Giada.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, even though I think obviously Guillermo could get kicked off, Taylor could get kicked off.
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: I could, it could be any of them for me, but it didn't surprise me.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: What about you?
- 33:40SPEAKER_01: No, I when she finished her dance, I was like, oh, she she just lost it tonight.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: What about her?
- 33:46SPEAKER_01: Well, she's not super warm and fuzzy.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: That's part of the problem is she wasn't super warm and fuzzy.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: I think part of it, she's just nervous, she's so out of her element.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: This is so far out of her comfort zone.
- 33:57SPEAKER_01: And it showed.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she came across as very like defensive instead of just being gracious and saying, because I mean, hey, like I said, I give her so much credit.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: And even upstairs in the balcony for the post-interview and when they were getting the scores and everything, instead of her just saying, like, hey, this is hard, I'm doing my best, she was very awkward in the interview.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: She wasn't only awkward on the dance floor, she's very awkward in the interviews, you know, and all of that.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: Maybe she's just being so hard on herself that she just doesn't know how to handle it.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, definitely, maybe.
- 34:30SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 34:31SPEAKER_00: But I was not surprised with her elimination at all.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: No.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: So I thought it was a great night.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: I loved the viral hits.
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: I think everyone did great.
- 34:37SPEAKER_00: The costume designers are amazing.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: Juliana needs a new stylist.
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: Julian.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: Julianne.
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: And um, and it was good.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: We'll see what she comes out with this next week.
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: So should we place Prats?
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: I'm very excited about the Yacht Rock theme next week.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm so excited.
- 34:58SPEAKER_00: Yacht Rock night.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: My husband might actually want to watch.
- 35:01SPEAKER_01: Oh, good.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: Yes, maybe maybe Patrick will watch.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: So the kids used to make fun of him for listening to Yacht Rock Radio.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: Every time they get in the car, they're like, Oh, dad drove the car last because it's on Yacht Rock Radio.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: I love Yacht Rock.
- 35:11SPEAKER_01: And then Tatum, my freshman in college.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: I get in her car one day.
- 35:15SPEAKER_01: I'm like, Are you listening to Yacht Rock?
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: And she's like, Yes, I love it.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: So he's rubbed off on her.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: So this is the fun thing.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: It is totally, it's like the soundtrack of my childhood, not only growing up in South Florida, but all those 70s songs and so much of it.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: So um, I'm very much looking forward to it.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: That'll be fun.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: All right, so that's gonna be that is gonna be great.
- 35:33SPEAKER_00: That is it.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: Can't wait.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: That was it.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: Dancing with the stars, season 35 is off to a very, very strong start.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: So the other thing that we have going on is Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: Now we get into all the juicy stuff.
- 35:47SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 35:47SPEAKER_00: So tonight will be the second episode, but we did, we are gonna talk about the first episode.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: Um, you are from Utah, so you are you you I'm from Utah.
- 35:56SPEAKER_01: So that's what triggered my interest in watching the show to begin with, is because I grew up in Salt Lake City.
- 36:00SPEAKER_01: I actually went to high school with two of the housewives.
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: And so it's been fun to kind of watch them and how they've kind of gone through life and where they've ended up.
- 36:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: And I ended up, you know, obviously, once we got to Salt Lake City, there had been so many franchises.
- 36:15SPEAKER_00: So when a new one comes along, you're thinking, like, oh, what am I gonna think?
- 36:19SPEAKER_00: This quickly became one of my favorites.
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: I have loved the characters, I've loved the iteration of the um of the casts, has people have come and gone, and obviously they had some turmoil um with Jen Shaw.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: If you don't watch, you've heard on the news that Jen Shaw was arrested, went to went to jail, all that stuff.
- 36:39SPEAKER_00: But obviously, this season opens up um with Mary because Mary Cosby, who was an original cast member, left and came back.
- 36:49SPEAKER_00: Um, her son Robert Jr.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: sadly passed away um right around the time of filming, right when they were starting filming.
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: Right when they were getting ready to film.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: And it it's really tragic because at the end of last season that they kind of focused on him, how he had been arrested and he was now incarcerated.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: And but she had such peace with it because she knew he was gonna get better.
- 37:12SPEAKER_01: She knew that he would get help because there was no way that he had access to what he'd been getting access to.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: So it's tragic.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: It's very tragic.
- 37:21SPEAKER_01: And and the whole episode kind of focuses on that and everybody's reaction to the news of Robert's passing.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I thought they handled it very well because I mean, where do you even really go from here?
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: And I give Mary and um and Robert Jr., who sadly has passed.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: I give them so much credit for last season being so raw and open.
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: Very vulnerable.
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: Yes, because I'm sure that he did help a lot of people.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: Um, it most of us do either have a family member or know someone who had a family member that went through this addiction.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: It's such an awful disease.
- 37:58SPEAKER_00: I mean, just you know, just this weekend, the news of um Presley Gerber, Sidney Crawford's um son passing away at only 27.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: He had just hours before checked himself into a rehab facility.
- 38:11SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: It's just devastating.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: Like it is a gripping disease that is so hard to get out of once you're in it.
- 38:18SPEAKER_00: Um, so it it's just every parent's worst nightmare.
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: So I think that um I think they did, I mean, I I felt like the show did a really good job of talk of talking about it.
- 38:31SPEAKER_00: It's what they had to do, they had to come out.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: They well, they had to address it somehow, because at the very beginning, it kind of goes backwards to talking to Mary about how happy she is to have him home and she just needs to keep him clean.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: And then it jumps forward three weeks later and to when he had passed.
- 38:48SPEAKER_01: And so they asked each cast member how they felt when they received the news that Robert Jr.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: had passed, and every single one of them teared up a little bit talking about it, even just reliving those feelings.
- 39:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the way they all came together.
- 39:02SPEAKER_00: Um a lot of friction between a lot of friction, a lot.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: So if this doesn't bring you together, I don't know what will.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: No, and isn't it amazing?
- 39:13SPEAKER_01: I think um, you know, they say it's a god wink, but in in a way it's a god wink because Mary does not have extended family supporting her.
- 39:22SPEAKER_01: She talks about how her her own brother and sister didn't even come to the services for Robert.
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: And so really the only family she has is her church family and these girls.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: And the fact that she has gotten closer with some of them is really great.
- 39:37SPEAKER_00: I'm so glad that she made the decision to come back and film the show.
- 39:42SPEAKER_00: I think it'll be good for her to be busy, to be around them, you know, all of that.
- 39:47SPEAKER_01: Have something to keep her focus on, yeah.
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: No, I don't think any parent should have to bury a child.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: I think that's just horrific.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: No, it's just awful, awful.
- 39:57SPEAKER_01: I watched my grandparents have to go through it with my uncle, and it's just the way it crushes a parent is awful.
- 40:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:03SPEAKER_00: It's just so I just, you know, my heart goes out to anybody dealing with that.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: And hopefully with the show addressing it, it can it can help people.
- 40:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:14SPEAKER_01: So Andrew brings all the girls together to her house so they can kind of grieve together and talk about it.
- 40:19SPEAKER_01: What do you think of Angie's dog, Celia?
- 40:22unknown: Oh my god.
- 40:24SPEAKER_01: Celia's a white poodle that has her paws and is it her hair?
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: The top of her head, and her paws are hot pink.
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:32SPEAKER_01: She's white.
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: I guess it goes to the whole hairstylist that you know it's so fitting for Angie, though.
- 40:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's so Angie.
- 40:39SPEAKER_01: So Angie.
- 40:41SPEAKER_01: No, but it is again, it shows you how interesting it is that tragedy can bring people together.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:48SPEAKER_01: Uh while they're at Angie's house, Whitney tries to apologize for some things that she's done.
- 40:54SPEAKER_01: And who does she owe an apology to?
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: Is it Meredith and Lisa?
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, really, it's mainly them because she especially, I mean, there's been multiple things, but I guess she was at this drag brunch and now she wants to apologize because she she said there was alcohol involved and and all that.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: And later in the show, did you hear how she said that she used alcohol?
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: Did she say she used alcohol as a clutch as a coping mechanism instead of a crutch?
- 41:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: I'm always we I did catch.
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: I went back and listened to it again.
- 41:24SPEAKER_00: I was like, did she say clutch?
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: Because we could go back if you we could make a whole episode of like the malaprophisms where the housewives will say the wrong word.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: The wrong word.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: I mean, she she thought, anyway, she said a clutch.
- 41:37SPEAKER_00: But yeah, she um she is definitely she wants to apologize to them now.
- 41:41SPEAKER_01: She does, but then I I team Meredith on this one where Meredith says, you know, Whitney's trying to apologize, but there's a time and a place, and this is not the time or place.
- 41:50SPEAKER_01: It wasn't like it was just so off.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: Whitney, sometimes her timing is so off.
- 41:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she's just she's a little oblivious.
- 41:58SPEAKER_01: She is so oblivious and love her part, but yeah, I don't know.
- 42:01SPEAKER_01: I don't know why she's trying to do it there.
- 42:04SPEAKER_01: So we flip over to Lisa's house um and she's got both her boys home because her older Jack had been on a mission and is finally home from his mission, and and so it shows both of her boys together.
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: So I was excited for her to have both her kids back in there.
- 42:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she's gotta be happy because was that two years?
- 42:20SPEAKER_01: Two years.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Yep, it's good good for him for doing it.
- 42:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:25SPEAKER_01: Um, and last season, do you remember there was friction between John and Lisa?
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: And Lisa just crying to him say she didn't feel supported, and she just felt like John wasn't there for her and he didn't understand.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: And it kind of ends on them bickering over who's in the wrong.
- 42:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:42SPEAKER_01: And he comes out and fully apologizes to her and says, I'm apologizing because I wasn't there when you needed me.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: And I feel bad for him because he kind of discloses, they talk about the fact that maybe he had some business dealings and things going on that weren't going that great.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: And he literally comes out and admits, like, I'm jealous of you.
- 43:02SPEAKER_00: Like, you've got all this stuff going on.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: Why aren't things going well for me?
- 43:06SPEAKER_00: And I think it brings up such a good point that is so hard for couples where you're both trying to do your thing.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: And sometimes it's really hard for one spouse to see the other spouse, you know, succeeding when the other one wants to succeed, but it's struggling to succeed.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: It it it makes it hard.
- 43:24SPEAKER_00: I had a friend who used to say that regardless of man, women, same-sex couples, whatever, that it's really hard for two people in a marriage to both full-on go for whatever their career, because it's almost like someone's also got to be the one at home holding it down for, yeah, you know, and all that.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: And we can definitely relate to that.
- 43:44SPEAKER_00: But um, but it'll so it'll be interesting to see that I do think that John and Lisa, it was a tender moment.
- 43:48SPEAKER_00: And it was.
- 43:49SPEAKER_01: What do you he clearly admitted that you know he feels this immense pressure to be the provider and to provide?
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: How do you what do you think about that whole pressure that men take on that they feel like they have to provide?
- 44:01SPEAKER_01: Is that a societal pressure or is it just ingrained in men?
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: I think some of it's probably just from at the core of human nature, some of it's society.
- 44:13SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, I think it's it's a lot for, and especially for, you know, maybe in in his upbringing, that's just what he thought was expected of him.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:23SPEAKER_00: And then to see her, you know, because some of their stuff is together, right?
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: Like he's involved with the tequila business and stuff.
- 44:30SPEAKER_01: They own the tequila business together.
- 44:31SPEAKER_01: So that's the thing.
- 44:32SPEAKER_01: They, yeah.
- 44:32SPEAKER_01: They do a lot of stuff together, but I think he's probably got all these side deals.
- 44:35SPEAKER_01: I think he dabbles in real estate, I think he dabbles in all sorts.
- 44:39SPEAKER_01: Of other stuff like that.
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: And so um yeah, they're definitely entrepreneurs.
- 44:42SPEAKER_00: Like their kids even started the I wonder how Wolf, what's the kids?
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: Wolf something like the kids have their own hair care and stuff.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: So then um, so then Whitney and Bronwin are together, and it's funny how they talk about Bronwyn does that little thing.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: She's like, what does she say?
- 45:02SPEAKER_00: Like, we notice that people notice that we noticed each other.
- 45:05SPEAKER_00: So funny it was like just one of those housewife moments, and she's kind of alluding to the fact that they have a thing for each other, is what I got.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: That's what I wonder, and then she made something, she goes, Well, no, not like that.
- 45:17SPEAKER_01: Like, she was she precursoring to something.
- 45:21SPEAKER_01: That's what it made me think.
- 45:22SPEAKER_01: That's what I was wondering.
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: Well, like maybe she's foreshadowing here.
- 45:26SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be an interesting season.
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: Both of their marriages are struggling, yes.
- 45:30SPEAKER_00: So it's like now she's separated from Todd.
- 45:34SPEAKER_00: And now Whitney and Justin at this point, they're not yet at this point in filming, but now they are.
- 45:39SPEAKER_00: But are they now?
- 45:40SPEAKER_00: I can't.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: But I don't know.
- 45:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so it's um I think that will all come out this season.
- 45:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:46SPEAKER_00: And think about it, I I kind of understand.
- 45:48SPEAKER_00: So Bronwyn talks about this boyfriend, which I think she is not dating him anymore, from what I know in present day, but in filming and in the show, she it has this new guy who's some model or something, he's 32.
- 46:01SPEAKER_00: Um, and here's the thing she obviously got pregnant.
- 46:04SPEAKER_00: If you watch the show, you know that she was pregnant young with her daughter.
- 46:07SPEAKER_00: She's been married to Todd all this time.
- 46:10SPEAKER_00: So it's not surprising that she's ready to like get out and play the field.
- 46:14SPEAKER_00: Um, and then later they're accusing her of calling the paparazzi or whatever.
- 46:19SPEAKER_01: But um Yeah, I I don't know.
- 46:21SPEAKER_01: But she and Todd had an interesting relationship anyway.
- 46:24SPEAKER_01: Like he, I think he was on the road all the time.
- 46:27SPEAKER_01: And so they'd have little snippets of time that they were together.
- 46:30SPEAKER_01: I think there was a lot of infidelity on his end that comes out in the show.
- 46:34SPEAKER_01: Um, so I'm not surprised that they didn't work out.
- 46:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 46:37SPEAKER_01: But I think that's the only real father figure that Gwen's ever had, her daughter.
- 46:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 46:42SPEAKER_00: So and she went back like in previous seasons, like she almost alluded like they had some sort of arrangement or open marriage, but then she kind of backtracked on that.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: So who knows what really went on.
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: And then in the first epit, in this first episode last week, she says, like, I'm not gonna tell a lot or keep secrets anymore.
- 47:01SPEAKER_00: So it's gonna be interesting to see what else she divulges about her relationship with Todd.
- 47:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was in that interaction with Bronwyn and Whitney where Whitney made her little coping comment about coping with alcohol or yeah, exactly.
- 47:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that is a clutch.
- 47:17SPEAKER_00: She used it as a clutch, she used it as a clutch, she uses it as her handbag, as her small handbag instead of a crutch.
- 47:23SPEAKER_01: Oh, funny.
- 47:24SPEAKER_01: All right, fast forward now to Heather's house.
- 47:27SPEAKER_01: And um, Georgia, her daughter, is home.
- 47:29SPEAKER_01: So Georgia had her own spin-off show.
- 47:30SPEAKER_01: Did you know that?
- 47:31SPEAKER_01: No, yes, she was um going to college in Miami.
- 47:34SPEAKER_01: Was it Miami?
- 47:35SPEAKER_01: I think she I thought she was in Miami.
- 47:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she was in Miami and she was doing her own little show and then she dropped out of school.
- 47:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's tea.
- 47:43SPEAKER_01: I did not know that.
- 47:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:45SPEAKER_01: So she dropped out of school at Miami and came back home, and now she's home with Heather.
- 47:48SPEAKER_00: Oh, so that's why she's home.
- 47:51SPEAKER_00: Oh, wow.
- 47:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but then Heather talks about how all her kids have left.
- 47:54SPEAKER_01: So maybe she's gone out and figured something else out.
- 47:57SPEAKER_01: But um for a minute there.
- 47:59SPEAKER_00: She was in Miami.
- 48:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 48:02SPEAKER_00: So Heather, I mean, to me, she's like she said, she's empty nesting.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: I can certainly relate to that.
- 48:08SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm I'm I am still married, but I'm empty nesting.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: But she looks amazing.
- 48:13SPEAKER_00: Heather looks like the best she's ever looked.
- 48:14SPEAKER_00: She does.
- 48:15SPEAKER_00: I did see her in California a couple years ago.
- 48:20SPEAKER_00: Um, when we were out there, oh, when we were out at the when Coastal Carolina played UCLA, and I went to um I went to Surve for brunch, and she was in there.
- 48:33SPEAKER_00: Heather was in there, and it was when she had first lost all her weight, and I was like looking here, and I was like, oh, my husband's gonna absolutely kill me if I try to like get a photo or talk to her or anything.
- 48:42SPEAKER_00: But she like smiled because it was like she knew I was looking to you were fangirl.
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: She looked amazing, but I think she looks really good, um, and and all of that.
- 48:51SPEAKER_00: And I, you know, she wants to be independently, all that stuff.
- 48:54SPEAKER_00: And her daughter Annabelle calls her on FaceTime and all that, and she says that she's getting ready for a date.
- 49:01SPEAKER_01: Which the girls have kind of seen her date a little bit, yeah, but then it's kind of revealed that she's got this new little boyfriend.
- 49:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so what do you think of the boyfriend?
- 49:10SPEAKER_01: Not at all what I would expect for her.
- 49:13SPEAKER_01: Not at all.
- 49:14SPEAKER_01: No.
- 49:14SPEAKER_01: Uh he's and she even admits she said, I'm just looking for a bad boy, motorcycle riding, tattoo, whatever.
- 49:23SPEAKER_01: And she's found him.
- 49:25SPEAKER_00: It's yeah, she said that um that she was officially, she's officially off the market.
- 49:31SPEAKER_00: She's like, I was never really on the market.
- 49:34SPEAKER_00: Um, she said he was raised Mormon.
- 49:36SPEAKER_00: He left the Mormon church at 17.
- 49:38SPEAKER_00: So they can both relate there.
- 49:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 49:40SPEAKER_00: And so now she said they're just being bad Mormons together.
- 49:44SPEAKER_00: They dated in 2016, which I thought was interesting, but she caught him texting other girls.
- 49:51SPEAKER_00: So are you concerned about these red flags or no?
- 49:56SPEAKER_01: That's that's kind of when she first started dating, per se.
- 50:00SPEAKER_01: So I think they were dating, but not really dating.
- 50:03SPEAKER_01: Like they were probably both seeing other people.
- 50:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 50:06SPEAKER_01: Um, but to me, that's not that big of a red flag.
- 50:09SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 50:10SPEAKER_01: I I think they met through Beauty Lab and Laser when he was doing some work for them on the facility, and that's how they met, and they struck up a friendship and started dating a little bit.
- 50:21SPEAKER_01: And then when she caught him texting, she broke it off.
- 50:24SPEAKER_01: So it's been long enough.
- 50:25SPEAKER_01: I wouldn't be concerned about that being a red flag.
- 50:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 50:29SPEAKER_01: Because she definitely had to figure out who she was.
- 50:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:33SPEAKER_00: So let's hope because I want the best for her.
- 50:35SPEAKER_00: I love me some Heather.
- 50:37SPEAKER_00: Um, she says he's her dream man, so we're gonna give her the benefit of the doubt.
- 50:42SPEAKER_00: Even though she said that he takes out the garbages.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: I was like, you mean the garbage?
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: No, the garbage is.
- 50:49SPEAKER_00: The garbage is.
- 50:50SPEAKER_01: Well, she probably has multiple garbage cans.
- 50:53SPEAKER_00: I have three garbage cans.
- 50:54SPEAKER_00: I have a long driveway, I have two garbage cans and a recycling.
- 50:57SPEAKER_00: And you take out the garbages.
- 50:59SPEAKER_00: Now I'm gonna say I take out the garbages.
- 51:01SPEAKER_00: I didn't used to take out the garbages because that was Blake's job.
- 51:05SPEAKER_01: We used to Blake was the sanitation engineer around here, which is so funny because I've now given my youngest that's still at home, I've given him that title that he's the sanitation engineer.
- 51:15SPEAKER_00: We are the same person.
- 51:17SPEAKER_00: So yeah, so now Tal has to take out the garbage, but he's failing miserably at his job.
- 51:22SPEAKER_01: Well he's about to get fired.
- 51:23SPEAKER_00: I used to have to remind Blake, and but she was pretty good about it.
- 51:26SPEAKER_00: And sometimes I'd wake up frantically, like run out there in my robe in the morning because I didn't want to miss it.
- 51:32SPEAKER_00: But um, but hey, if her new boyfriend is taking out the garbages and all that stuff, Trip, his name's Trip, right?
- 51:40SPEAKER_00: Okay, we're gonna give him the benefit of the doubt because I love Heather.
- 51:44SPEAKER_01: Well, he is the polar opposite from Heather's ex-husband, which is probably why she's so attracted to him.
- 51:50SPEAKER_01: He's just completely different from her ex-husband.
- 51:54SPEAKER_00: And I guess if he's fine, whatever his business is, whatever he's doing, as long as he's not trying, you know.
- 51:59SPEAKER_00: I wonder if we're gonna get into that and get to know him more.
- 52:01SPEAKER_00: Because she said that he was doing like odd job, like not odd jobs, but sounds like maybe he's in construction or a handyman type person, which hey, not a bad thing to have around.
- 52:10SPEAKER_00: She said that like she said he had.
- 52:11SPEAKER_01: He fixes everything around the house.
- 52:13SPEAKER_00: So he's been as long as long as it's working for her.
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and as long as it's not a situation like some other housewives have been in where they get a boyfriend who's just kind of trying to live off them or whatever.
- 52:24SPEAKER_00: So, so we we will see.
- 52:26SPEAKER_01: She kind of her whole scenario feels like an episode of Desperate Housewives to me.
- 52:32SPEAKER_01: Did you ever watch that show?
- 52:34SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 52:35SPEAKER_01: Her whole scenario is kind of kind of full circle, Desperate Housewife.
- 52:38SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, that was such a calling her a desperate housewife.
- 52:41SPEAKER_00: No, but yeah, and she's looking hot and she's doing good and she seems happy.
- 52:46SPEAKER_00: She's had a best-selling book.
- 52:47SPEAKER_00: She's two best-selling books.
- 52:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, two now?
- 52:50SPEAKER_00: Two.
- 52:51SPEAKER_00: Okay, see, I gotta keep up on my stuff.
- 52:53SPEAKER_00: So it was good.
- 52:55SPEAKER_00: So then they go back to um Bronwyn and her mom, Muzzie.
- 53:01SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 53:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it shows Bronwyn and her mom, and Bronwyn talks about how she's ready to file for divorce.
- 53:06SPEAKER_01: She's done.
- 53:08SPEAKER_01: Um, I love that interaction because Muzzie has always been so negative with Bronwyn and kind of like looked down on her and like disapproving of this, that, and the other.
- 53:19SPEAKER_01: And I felt like it was the first time they've had a mother-daughter conversation where there was no judgment from Muzzie.
- 53:25SPEAKER_00: And see, I love that for her because that's something that Bronwyn's definitely struggled with, struggled with, something that she's looking for, and to ultimately get her support in this, which is you know, obviously gonna be one of the hardest things she's gone through.
- 53:40SPEAKER_00: So I love that.
- 53:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Muzzie's definitely come a long way with the way Brown and I could discuss relationships with her.
- 53:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 53:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 53:47SPEAKER_01: All right, Meredith and Lisa.
- 53:51SPEAKER_01: These Meredith looks phenomenal.
- 53:55SPEAKER_01: I don't know what she's done, but she looks good.
- 53:57SPEAKER_01: She had a facelift.
- 53:58SPEAKER_01: Or facial rejuvenation, she called it.
- 54:01SPEAKER_01: Yes, and she looks phenomenal, I thought.
- 54:04SPEAKER_01: I wanna know.
- 54:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she looks very good.
- 54:07SPEAKER_01: Who's your doctor?
- 54:08SPEAKER_01: Yep, sign me up.
- 54:09SPEAKER_01: Yep, she looks great.
- 54:11SPEAKER_01: So then it kind of wraps up a little bit talking to Mary.
- 54:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it was hard because when Mary said that she avoided going in RJ's room and the dog went in there and she goes in there.
- 54:25SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, it is very sad.
- 54:27SPEAKER_00: I got I did get emotional at this at this point.
- 54:30SPEAKER_00: And but I thought Mary has such a good attitude about it because she said she just cannot let herself go to that that dark place.
- 54:37SPEAKER_00: Um I she doesn't want to cry because it doesn't do any good.
- 54:41SPEAKER_00: Um, and when they played the clips and everything, kind of made me almost start to a little teary.
- 54:46SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 54:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 54:47SPEAKER_01: And which she went back to filming three weeks after he passed, which I would still be balled up in the fetal position.
- 54:53SPEAKER_00: And I guess I'm sure that her faith has helped her.
- 54:57SPEAKER_00: And she's been through so much as the mom of an addict going through all the things she went through with him.
- 55:03SPEAKER_00: Um I have heard that sadly, when you know that your loved one is that bad, there is sometimes a sense of peace because that you know you know that they're finally free from the addiction.
- 55:16SPEAKER_00: Um, and she, I'm glad that she was very happy with his home going.
- 55:20SPEAKER_01: Sounds like it was a beautiful service.
- 55:22SPEAKER_01: Beautiful service.
- 55:23SPEAKER_01: And then all the girls come over to Mary's house and they kind of congregate there.
- 55:27SPEAKER_01: And let's talk about Meredith's orange blazer.
- 55:29SPEAKER_01: We need that for Auburn Games.
- 55:31SPEAKER_01: That's the first thing I thought was oh my gosh, I need that.
- 55:34SPEAKER_01: Yes, it was so nice.
- 55:35SPEAKER_01: Like you said, she's looking good.
- 55:37SPEAKER_00: Her clothes are always on point.
- 55:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she's by far my favorite dresser on the show.
- 55:41SPEAKER_01: She comes up with some funky stuff in there, but and Mary and Mary looks great.
- 55:46SPEAKER_00: Mary looks great for what she's been through.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: Her house looks great.
- 55:49SPEAKER_00: She, I thought it was nice that she said that she wanted to be with the group and that it was her decision to come back, which basically obviously means that she's gonna do the show.
- 55:59SPEAKER_00: So, um, and it was nice when she said that she can really feel Meredith's genuine love and support.
- 56:05SPEAKER_01: And she feels she really feels like God brought her family with the girls.
- 56:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I thought that was really neat.
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:11SPEAKER_00: Because they've come a long way.
- 56:13SPEAKER_00: They all have, and they've they've been through a lot.
- 56:15SPEAKER_00: And he then, like Heather says, that she hopes that they can all get past the pettiness, which we know isn't gonna 100% happen.
- 56:22SPEAKER_01: No, there's always gonna be some drama.
- 56:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:25SPEAKER_01: Too many strong personalities to not have drama.
- 56:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:28SPEAKER_01: Anyway, I thought it was a great first episode.
- 56:30SPEAKER_01: I'm excited for tonight.
- 56:31SPEAKER_01: Tonight should be a zinger.
- 56:33SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 56:33SPEAKER_01: Can't wait.
- 56:34SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be good.
- 56:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
