Golfers took to the course Friday morning at Wabaunsee Pines for the first annual Joel Fager Memorial Tournament — a heartfelt tribute to the late EMS director, paramedic, and community hero who passed away a year ago from brain cancer. The event, organized by his friend Lisa Baker, was held on the very last course Joel ever played, making it deeply personal.
