In part 1 we learned that the Kingdom of God was a concept in Second Temple Judaism, the religion of Jesus' day, that was understood by the Jewish people. We saw that Moses states that God will reign forever and ever (Exod. 15:18). Thus, if God reigns, He is king. If God is King then He has a Kingdom. But, His Kingdom does not have a territory or borders or a palace or castle. In Jesus' day the Kingdom of God meant only that God rules and reigns over His creation, the heavens and the earth, the universe.
