- The Apex F1 Podcast: Hey everybody, it's Meredith from the Apex podcast. We have had crazy schedules over the last few weeks and we were not able to get together to record. So we are going to put together clips of all of our thoughts of racing ahead of the Indy 500, Canada Grand Prix and Coca-Cola 600. So bear with us because we're going to be clipping some things together. Hey everybody, happy Memorial Day weekend. It's Josh from the Apex F1 podcast. We have got one of the biggest weekends in motorsport right on our doorstep. We've got the Indy 500, we've got Formula One in Canada. It's going to be a great weekend. hope everybody's getting out, doing something family, getting on the grill, getting on the boat. I know I will be. So just want to take a brief second and talk about this weekend. We got the Indy 500. I'm sure Paul and Mere will be telling you all about it. I'm going to take Joseph Newgarden to win it. Don't know why, but I'm going to anyway. As far as Formula One goes, we've got a great track in Canada. It's a semi-permanent track full of unforgiving concrete barriers and some interesting chicanes. So ⁓ it should be a good track. It seems like the regulations will favor this track more than some others. So I'm excited to get a good weekend of racing. think it's going to be pretty good wheel to wheel action in Canada. My favorite section of this track is by far the end of sector three down towards the back straight and the wall of champions. So many great races and so many great racers have ended up in that wall and knock themselves out of the race. It's just such an unforgiving spot. It doesn't take much and you'll just be out of the race in a heartbeat. I hope you have a great weekend. Enjoy family. Enjoy the weekend. Enjoy the racing. So we'll get back on and debrief everything from this weekend and I hope you all have a good time. Okay, my podium prediction for the Canadian Grand Prix. I think George Russell is going to win. Lando Norris in second. Kimi in third. shocker prediction i think also gonna have a good weekend and i think i was going to get the point i am hoping it is all these so let's see let's see what happens we come back we gotta get some points back on josh so we'll see how Paul and I all right guys my predictions for the canada grand prix i think Kimi gets number one Lando gets number two and uh... i'm gonna say Oscar gets number three Kimi’s been on a tear and i think he's going to continue to do what he does for shocker prediction i'm gonna go both williams in the points think both williams has the time to be in the points and one v carb is going to end up in the points but guys enough of formula one we are here it is here the Indy five hundred is on sunday and i could not be more pumped it is going to be amazing i'm super pumped and just super excited to see what happens how does make sure my could do can alexander rossi come back from his minor surgery that he had i was i can do what is Arrow mclaren and my boy pato's gonna do i hate to say it ⁓ think alex Palou is gonna win but like ⁓ i'm gonna go with Pado and i was gonna win on sunday i'm putting it out in the world it's gonna be tough it's gonna be hard but i think Pado's got this race so guys stay tuned watch on sunday Follow us on social media. All right, everybody, Indy 500 prediction here. I think David Malukas is going to win the Indy 500 this year. And we also have the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600. And this weekend, it means a lot more. This week, we lost an absolute NASCAR legend. We lost Kyle Busch. And it is tragically awful to hear about his passing. He meant so much to everybody in the NASCAR community. So this weekend, if you are not a NASCAR fan, if you are not a NASCAR person, this is the time I ask you to give it a chance, because I think this one's going to mean a lot. Our thoughts are with Kyle Busch, his family, his friends. everybody in the NASCAR community. He meant a lot to everybody. So give the Coca-
