- 0:00Welcome to the One Small Change. I am so glad that you decided to
- 0:04spend time with me again this week, and I am
- 0:07happy that you are going on this journey of exploration,
- 0:10transformation with me. In case you don't know, I'm your host, Yvonne
- 0:14McCoy, and I bring almost 30 years of entrepreneurial experience,
- 0:18and I have an insane passion for discovering growth through the
- 0:22power of seemingly small change. And so I invite
- 0:25somebody to come talk to us every week so. So that you can see what
- 0:29their journey's been like. And they have
- 0:32usually such interesting things to share that will help you to grow your
- 0:36business. And today we're going to be talking with
- 0:39Noemi Beres. Noemi, hi.
- 0:44Hi, Yvonne. Thank you so much for inviting me today. I'm really looking forward
- 0:47to our conversation. Well, I am, too. And what,
- 0:52you know, what people have gotten to expect is that you're
- 0:55going to share some smaller, unexpected decision
- 0:59that, you know, sparked a change in your business. And it could be either
- 1:03professional or personal. But the thing is, I
- 1:07want you to talk to Noemi for a couple of
- 1:10reasons. One is that she's definitely connected with podcasting, but
- 1:14the other thing is that we don't talk about very often is
- 1:18we all have global businesses if we want to.
- 1:22So why don't you tell everybody where you are,
- 1:26what you do, and how you. How you do it
- 1:30differently than anybody else? Thank you,
- 1:34Yvonne. Well. Well, I'm from Europe, as you
- 1:37can figure out from my accent, and I live on the beautiful
- 1:41Mediterranean island of Cyprus, and
- 1:45it's an amazing place to live, But I've been living here
- 1:48in the past 15 years, and I was born and raised in Hungary in
- 1:52Central Europe, lived in different countries. So what you
- 1:56just mentioned about being like global citizenship in
- 1:59and in the business world, it really applies to me. I lived in
- 2:03Denmark, I lived in Ireland, and then I ended up here in
- 2:06Cyprus 15 years ago. So for me, experiencing
- 2:10different cultures, different languages is pretty amazing.
- 2:14And working with American clients, which is also very interesting because I
- 2:18never worked with American clients before I started this
- 2:21business, Podcast Connections, our podcast booking agency,
- 2:25and that's a whole new experience for me in the past
- 2:29six years. And you also asked me about, like,
- 2:33what do I do? So I run a podcast booking agency
- 2:36and help entrepreneurs, business owners to get
- 2:40connected and get booked on quality podcast shows, which
- 2:44helps to grow their business, build their brand, and build their
- 2:47authority. And. And that's what I've been doing in the past six years,
- 2:51since 2020. But I've been an entrepreneur since
- 2:542007, and I've been doing a lot of things like
- 2:58many other entrepreneurs, including social media,
- 3:02content creation, online marketing, you name
- 3:06it, travel writing, blogging. And
- 3:09I enjoyed all this long journey that I've been on.
- 3:14And, and what makes me different? I think what made you, what made you
- 3:18land? What, what made you land, you know, on all the different things? Because,
- 3:22you know, as entrepreneurs, we're like, yes, yes, you know,
- 3:25so of all the things that you have done, what made you land on
- 3:29being in the podcast industry?
- 3:34That's a great question. It was accidental, like, like everything.
- 3:37Like usually in the life of a entrepreneur, it was
- 3:41accidental. So we had an online travel related business
- 3:44with my husband from 2007 up to
- 3:482020, but because of the pandemic, it had to
- 3:52stop. Nobody traveled. The whole wide world
- 3:55stopped, so we had to pivot. And that's how we ended up basically
- 3:59in the podcasting world. And thanks to our Irish
- 4:02mentor, he helped us to start this business
- 4:06model which I really love. And
- 4:10to be honest with you, Yvonne, I. In before 2020,
- 4:13I didn't listen to podcasts. I wasn't in that space.
- 4:18So it's basically, it was a whole new world to me
- 4:21when, when, you know, started working in this business back in March,
- 4:25April 2020. Well, you know, one of the things that,
- 4:29that you said that's interesting is, you know, that you
- 4:32accidentally got into this, right? But I always
- 4:36find in weird ways, everything that you, a
- 4:40person has done before makes them ideally suited
- 4:44for that accidental opportunity.
- 4:48You know, another person may have been presented with that and it would
- 4:52have been, it would not have gone forward at all. You know, it
- 4:56would not have flourished. So tell me, tell me
- 5:02why or how can people use podcasting to grow their business?
- 5:06Why is it, you know, what are the, you know, the misconceptions about
- 5:09it? What are, you know, things that we
- 5:13can all do better? Yeah, it's, it's a brilliant
- 5:17way. I mean, when you are a podcast guest, it's a brilliant way
- 5:20to build your brand, to build your authority, to get your name
- 5:24out there, to create evergreen content which you can
- 5:28use again and again. Because nobody remembers what you
- 5:31posted 2 weeks or 3 weeks ago on social media. So the episodes
- 5:35that go live, you can cut them up, you can use them
- 5:39as clips or audio clips or video clips, and they are
- 5:42amazing to, you know, just for content creation
- 5:46itself. And I think many people
- 5:50misunderstand it when it comes to podcast guesting. Oh, I'm just going
- 5:54on a podcast. It's done and dusted. I don't have anything else to do.
- 5:57They don't promote it, they don't repurpose the content.
- 6:01Okay.
- 6:06These are all really important things. Can we, can
- 6:09we go back to
- 6:14the. Let's start at the beginning of the process, I guess. Right? So
- 6:18how should you pick a podcast? Is there, is there a thought
- 6:21process that people should go through before they get on a
- 6:25podcast? Absolutely. I mean, you need a thought process.
- 6:29And first of all, you need to start listening to
- 6:33podcasts, podcasts that are. You're interested in and
- 6:37aligns with your business. Because when it comes to picking
- 6:40out the perfect podcast, it's really important.
- 6:45It's not about quantity, but it's about quality. It's really important
- 6:49to find the right place to express your voice, to.
- 6:53To share your knowledge and share your stories. So you need to do the
- 6:56research, you need to do the homework before you
- 7:00decide which podcast you should get on. Obviously,
- 7:04when you hire a company like us, we can do that for you.
- 7:08It makes your life easier, but it doesn't mean that you can
- 7:11do it all by yourself. It's doable, but it takes a lot of time and
- 7:15effort and energy to find the right space for you. And, and
- 7:19it. Everything starts with listening. Listening to a couple of episodes,
- 7:23a couple of podcasts, and figuring out whether
- 7:27you are, you are aligned with the podcast host, you are
- 7:30okay with their energy, the way they lead the conversation,
- 7:34the way they hold space for you. It's really
- 7:38important to super clear about that. So,
- 7:42okay, now you've picked a podcast or a group of
- 7:46podcasts and you're going on it, what
- 7:49do you talk about exactly? That's a very
- 7:53important part. And many people, they pick really
- 7:57broad topics, like if you are in sales or if you're in marketing
- 8:00and you say like, oh, I want to, you know, I want to talk about
- 8:03marketing, I want to talk about sales, I want to talk about health
- 8:07or whatever. You really have to niche down. It's
- 8:11really important to find your topics and
- 8:14find your talking points. I always advise people to pick
- 8:18at least three topics, whatever you want to talk
- 8:22about, and work on those topics. And also pick a couple
- 8:25of talking points for each and every single topic
- 8:29because it's really important to practice those a little bit.
- 8:33I'm not saying you have to learn them by heart, but
- 8:36don't wing a conversation. Once you are in a business, you
- 8:40need to be super clear about what your business is about and what you want
- 8:43to talk about. Because if you just wing something and you just
- 8:47fly from one topic to another, I mean, that doesn't
- 8:51help people. I mean, you need to figure things
- 8:54out. When I first started doing
- 8:58podcasts, Right. I was very excited
- 9:02about it, and I went to this podcasting event where you could be on all
- 9:06these people's podcasts. Podcast. Right. And, you know, I was like,
- 9:10you know, sometimes people didn't show up, and I was like, I do it. I'll
- 9:13do it. Right. And I found myself talking
- 9:17on podcasts that really were not
- 9:20my expertise. And I
- 9:24happen to be a Tatty Cathy, so I could talk about almost anything.
- 9:28Right. So that wasn't the. That wasn't the issue. I mean, and maybe that
- 9:32worked to my detriment because I was having such a good time.
- 9:35Yeah. You know, I mean, I. Somebody asked me to work on, to come on
- 9:39a podcast about parenting, and I'm like,
- 9:44yes, I am a parent, but I don't consider myself. You know, I can
- 9:47tell you what I think I. What I now think I did wrong, that my
- 9:50kids are adults. Right. And, you know, I went on that podcast.
- 9:54So not only do. Do you have to know what you're going to be
- 9:58talking about, you want to make sure that you're talking to an
- 10:02audience that you want to reach out to.
- 10:05I mean, yes, I had a great time on that podcast.
- 10:09They were like, oh, this was amazing, you know, great information.
- 10:13But none of his audience was going to reach out to me, you
- 10:17know, for business for two reasons. One is that wasn't why they
- 10:20were listening to him. And two, because I was just having
- 10:24a good time. I didn't even really go into my business.
- 10:28Yes, right. That. That's why it's important to. To pick.
- 10:32Pick your, you know. Right. Poison for your
- 10:35podcast. And. And even if you find yourself in an unusual
- 10:39situation, I think you can bring it back to your business.
- 10:42Yes. You know, you can go. This is a skill that you need in life,
- 10:46but we use this in business as well. So if you've
- 10:50got a business or if you think, you know, so I think that's where a
- 10:53lot of people make mistakes. I think also.
- 10:58And this is an opinion.
- 11:02Yes. You have to have some things that you can pull out of the air
- 11:04that you're comfortable with. But I think that
- 11:08when people come in and say, you know, what are the five questions you want
- 11:12me to ask you? I feel like it. You
- 11:15don't get a chance to breathe. You don't get a chance to be yourself. And
- 11:19I think that's part of the advantage of being a podcast. It's
- 11:23like, I've invited you into my head. I don't want
- 11:27to hear something that's so polished that it's
- 11:30impersonal. I don't know. Yeah, I think it's
- 11:34being open and being vulnerable on a show is far more important
- 11:38than being too polished because people will just check out and
- 11:42stop listening to that podcast. If you are overly polished and overly
- 11:45put together, yeah, there are. Whatever can happen
- 11:49during the conversation, but that makes you human. And I think
- 11:53that's important to human touch. That's how you feel. You are a real person,
- 11:57not just acting. And, oh, this is this amazing
- 12:00entrepreneur doing everything absolutely perfectly. Like, who
- 12:04said that? Nobody is that entrepreneur. We all make mistakes
- 12:08and to show our flows traits. I think that's also
- 12:12important because that's how we can learn from each other.
- 12:16Okay, so now we've picked the right podcast. We
- 12:19know what we're going to say. We have great rapport with the
- 12:23host or hostess, right? And
- 12:29that's my dog. The doorbell's ringing
- 12:33anyway. And you know, you finish it,
- 12:37right? And you go, this is great. And that's where a lot of people, I
- 12:41think, I mean, where my head is stuck these days
- 12:45is the whole concept of what's the cost of not following through
- 12:48on things? And I don't think most of us know
- 12:52what the follow through is. If we've been on a podcast.
- 12:57Yeah, I wish everybody would know that, but they
- 13:01just don't use it like, at the end of the day.
- 13:05I mean, podcast guesting is a marketing strategy, is a
- 13:08relationship marketing strategy that you can use to your advantage
- 13:12when you do it wisely. So when you have and you
- 13:15finished an interview, I always tell people, please
- 13:19do thank the host next day just to,
- 13:23you know, you were a guest, you got accepted as a guest, you had an
- 13:26amazing conversation. And all these hosts across the world,
- 13:30they put so much energy into and time and money, let's
- 13:34not forget about it either into one single show
- 13:38that at least you can do to thank them. And what I
- 13:41also tell them to please be a bit
- 13:45proactive. Just organize a post,
- 13:48interview, chat with the podcast host. I think it's so important to
- 13:52continue and keep the conversation going because podcast
- 13:56guesting. Podcasting is one of the best marketing tools
- 13:59in the 21st century. And not many people
- 14:03use that as a, like, as a networking tool. But like, we
- 14:07established a relationship here and then we can jump on a call. We
- 14:11can figure out later, maybe this month or next month,
- 14:14how we can help, how we can serve each other, we can refer
- 14:18people to each other, we can refer Business to each other, because
- 14:22we are all business people. We are all entrepreneurs. And this
- 14:26is not just a conversation. It's so much more than that.
- 14:29All right, you said two things that I want to go back to.
- 14:34One is you said podcasting is a strategy.
- 14:39Okay. And so, you know, when I
- 14:42talk about strategy, it's like, what is the
- 14:46purpose of doing this? And I think, you know,
- 14:50the first answer, the, first, you know, surface answer is, I want to
- 14:54get out there and I want to be seen. Right. But I think
- 14:57there's more to it than that. Right.
- 15:01And you alluded to that a little bit in terms of
- 15:04relationships and that kind of thing. And one of the things
- 15:08that I as a podcaster, always forget
- 15:12to say to my guest, if you know anybody else that you think would be
- 15:16good for my podcast, will you introduce us? Or I
- 15:19know somebody who you would probably be good for your
- 15:23podcast, that kind of thing. The other thing is,
- 15:31You know, we have this one and done kind of mentality.
- 15:35There are so many things that you can do as a
- 15:39podcaster with the podcast. So,
- 15:42for instance, one of the things that I do, because I also do
- 15:46panels and I do, you know, summits and stuff, is
- 15:50that when I'm promoting those things, I only have people that have been
- 15:53on my podcast speak. And so when I'm doing post,
- 15:57I will put that podcast link in there.
- 16:01Yeah. So people can have a chance to get to know the speakers a little
- 16:05bit better. I will try,
- 16:09if possible, to. If I know that my
- 16:12speaker is going to have an event to. To publish
- 16:16the podcast at a time that's close to that event,
- 16:20to help them. Right. And so I also
- 16:24asked for, if whatever gift they're giving, I asked for an affiliate
- 16:27link. So if any of my people go to the event and buy something, then,
- 16:31you know, I can make some money. There was something else that you
- 16:35said. So tell us some of the things we can do after the podcast
- 16:38to get more use and get more exposure.
- 16:42Absolutely. The. The second most important thing is to
- 16:45repurpose the content. Use the content that you have on your
- 16:49hands. Because, I mean, content is king. We talk about this, but we
- 16:52don't really do anything about it. So once you're intergo inter
- 16:56you goes live. When you are in social media,
- 17:00try to post it on as many places as you can. Like,
- 17:03whatever people tell you, no, just do it like, more exposure, more
- 17:07followers, more interaction means more business. That's it.
- 17:11It's so simple, yet not many people do it.
- 17:14So once you have the episode, maybe you get some
- 17:18promotional stuff, material from the host, which
- 17:22can be a video clip, audio clip, image, anything. You can
- 17:25post this. And please do tag the host in every
- 17:29single post because that's how you reach their followers. And
- 17:33again, that's how you get more exposure. Say that again,
- 17:37because a lot of people like me probably don't
- 17:41do that. Say, yeah, tagging, tagging the host, please.
- 17:44Like, once you get the episode out there, please tag
- 17:48the host and always do that because this
- 17:52is one of the most important part, like, that's how you reach
- 17:56more people. You get connected with the
- 17:59hosts, audience with the host followers on social media.
- 18:03And what I've seen, Yvonne, that so many times,
- 18:07the hosts, the podcast hosts, they forget to tag the.
- 18:11Tag the guest. You know, they post about the episode.
- 18:15And that was an amazing episode with, you know, xyz and
- 18:19this was the interview and the name is there, but they never tagged them.
- 18:23So actually the, the guest would never realize that,
- 18:26like, oh, I was, you know, they, they posted about me. So this works
- 18:30with both ways for the host and for the guest. So please do
- 18:34tag people. Tag your guest and tag your host. It's
- 18:38crucial. So
- 18:42now I have lots and lots of questions.
- 18:47If you take somebody that's kind of just
- 18:51starting out and they don't know how to do all this
- 18:55fancy repurposing, what, aside from tagging the host,
- 19:00which, what are some of the other easy things that you can
- 19:04do to get more mileage out of when you've done a, you
- 19:08know, a podcast? I, I think it's just the
- 19:11easiest thing is basically to share it on social media.
- 19:15It doesn't have to be fancy. Like, it's so easy to share something
- 19:19on social media. Or if you have an email list, you can
- 19:23always send out your episode to your email list to your
- 19:26friends, to your colleagues, to, to whomever.
- 19:30Just make a bit of like, promotion to your episode.
- 19:34Because that's so, it's just so easy. I
- 19:37mean, everybody can write an email to, to their email list, like, hey
- 19:41guys, this is my new episode. You know, we just went live.
- 19:45Check it out. I had an amazing conversation. That's it.
- 19:49Like, it's just a couple of sentences. Like, anybody can do that if you have
- 19:53an email list. And I think it's just so easy to do
- 19:56that. And we still don't do it. And I, I just don't
- 20:00understand why. So you don't need to be a tech expert.
- 20:04All right, so. So the reason you don't understand why is because
- 20:07that's one of your Gifts, which made this a great opportunity to have.
- 20:12Right. The. The other thing is I always
- 20:15wonder, you know, like, I post on
- 20:19LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, right? Although I
- 20:23think I'm going to stop doing Instagram and just
- 20:27focus on Facebook and LinkedIn. And I
- 20:30think a lot of people are like, I don't do a lot on, on social
- 20:34media or. The other question that comes
- 20:37up, I think a lot is, what am I going to talk about on my
- 20:41podcast? What's my podcast going to be about? So
- 20:45first, can you answer the social media question? Because I threw you two at
- 20:49once. Answer the. So does it matter on social media
- 20:52where or just is it. Is it kind of the rule of thumb? Wherever you've
- 20:56been showing up, that's where you should keep showing up and do it
- 20:59consistently. It, you know, it
- 21:03depends, like omnipresence. I think it's really important
- 21:06because some people will tell you, just pick one channel. Don't just
- 21:10pick one social media platform and stick to that.
- 21:14But I've been, you know, I've been studying content creation for many,
- 21:18many years, like since 2007. And this world changed a
- 21:21lot in the past, you know, 20 years or so. 19.
- 21:26And what I've seen, the more the merrier. So if
- 21:30you are on more social media channels, the better. And I know
- 21:33it more, you know, it may create more work for you, more
- 21:37job for you, but, but there are certain tools that you can use
- 21:41that makes posting so much easier. And I mean, come on,
- 21:45at the, you know, age of the AI, I mean, we can create easy posts
- 21:48like, it still has your voice, but you can use AI.
- 21:53I think the thing that people miss consistently is
- 21:56consistency. Yes. I think, you
- 22:00know, if you can only handle being consistent on one channel,
- 22:04then that's what you should do. And being consistent means
- 22:08different things to different people. If consistent is once a week,
- 22:12then that's your cons. I would rather have you, I would rather
- 22:16have you do something once a week but be
- 22:19consistent than saying, I'm going to post five times a week. And you do it
- 22:23like the first week and then the next week you do three, and then, you
- 22:25know, and then eventually you don't do any. So I think that is,
- 22:29you know, know the ballpark. The other thing
- 22:32is how do people, if they haven't
- 22:36started a podcast, how do people decide
- 22:40what their podcast should be about? It
- 22:44really depends on what, what's your, you know, what's your passion?
- 22:48And I think it's really important to find that passion when it comes
- 22:52to picking out if you are right to do a
- 22:55podcast or not. Because the thing is that after a while,
- 22:59it can become a job for you. And it takes up so much time,
- 23:03energy, and money. Just create one single podcast episode
- 23:07that you really need to love that podcast to keep
- 23:10continue doing it. What I've seen back in
- 23:142020, you know, Covid time, you know, the midst of the
- 23:17pandemic, everybody started a podcast. Like, doesn't matter.
- 23:21You were at home. Everybody had something to say. They started a
- 23:25podcast, and plenty of them stopped
- 23:29in 2021, 2022. And it didn't really
- 23:32matter what kind of business they were in. They just stopped.
- 23:36Because you need, again, what you said, said you need to be consistent and
- 23:40persistent and showing up every week.
- 23:43Otherwise there's. There's no point doing a podcast. And you need
- 23:47to love what you're doing because then it's will become boring
- 23:51and people will feel that they will check out and they will stop
- 23:55listening. I, I think just my
- 23:58rule of thumb is, and, and it's
- 24:02really not my rule. Somebody else said it, it was, you know, they were talking
- 24:05about getting in, you know, speaking, and they said, just write
- 24:09down 10 things that you can talk 10 minutes about without
- 24:13any notes. And then from those 10
- 24:16things, pick out the three things that you. You like the most.
- 24:21Right? Right. And that was like, really, really
- 24:25helpful for me. And then of course, you know, we,
- 24:28we talk about accidents. Right. I
- 24:32happened to have the, the, the domain, the one small change
- 24:36because it was part of something else that I was doing and I really liked
- 24:40it. And so that became the name of the, my
- 24:43podcast. And I had done blog talk
- 24:47radio for like three years where I talked all by
- 24:50myself for an ungodly amount of time.
- 24:55And so I think that the, the beauty of, I think the beauty
- 24:59of the podcast for me is it gives me
- 25:02a chance to meet people, a space to have an
- 25:06interaction that I don't have to create a whole lot of content
- 25:10for. The actual experience
- 25:13creates the content, and I get to meet
- 25:17people. You know, the process of meeting the people and finding the
- 25:20right people is the part that is, instead of
- 25:24the content creation, it's kind of like the guest creation,
- 25:28right? That, and, you know, part of my strategy
- 25:31is I want my guests to be people that I want to continue having
- 25:35relationships with, you know, that we can keep
- 25:38collaborating and doing things. And so I don't actually have
- 25:42to create a whole lot. I have a format that I
- 25:46follow for my podcast. But, you know,
- 25:49aside from the introduction and the, the end part, there's not a
- 25:53whole lot that. That I've got prepared. And so I think
- 25:56that's something, you know, I would suggest to people.
- 26:01One of the things that you can do is do Facebook Live, do some Facebook
- 26:04lives for a while, and see if you like it. You know, invite people, and
- 26:08then, you know, see if you want to do a podcast. All right. Before we
- 26:12run out of time, because we kind of got on to all kinds of things.
- 26:18You obviously love podcasting as a strategy, a marketing
- 26:22strategy. And so my question is,
- 26:26what are three things that people can do right now to get them
- 26:29either on more podcasts or thinking about making their own
- 26:33podcast? First, find a podcast,
- 26:37do your research, listen to, like, pick one podcast and
- 26:40listen to it. If you. The second, if you like the
- 26:44podcast and you think it's the right fit for
- 26:48you, go on, you know, LinkedIn, because the hosts are
- 26:51usually there or sometimes on Facebook, depending on the industry.
- 26:55But, like, go on LinkedIn, find a host, and
- 26:59don't. Don't reach out to them yet, but start
- 27:03following them and start to commenting on their
- 27:07posts. And not just like, great post. Thank you. Thank you for sharing.
- 27:10No, there's something meaningful. Something meaningful. And
- 27:14keep doing that for at least two weeks. So you follow the host
- 27:18on LinkedIn, you keep showing up, your name pops
- 27:21up, and you keep leaving meaningful comments.
- 27:25And then the third step before you reach out, like, you can now
- 27:29reach out. And I think the best way maybe to do that in social
- 27:33media, different platforms, it can be LinkedIn. You
- 27:36message them and you tell them that you do listen to
- 27:40their podcast, you what you liked about it, because they will
- 27:44ask you. You can tell. You can, like, so many people, like, you know, kind
- 27:47of lie about it. Like, oh, I listen to your episode. It was amazing. And
- 27:51then they asked back, which one are you referring to? What did you like about
- 27:54it? Like, tell the truth, like, what you liked about the podcast and
- 27:58start a conversation with the host, and then you can jump
- 28:02on a call and figure out that, like, oh, I'd love to be a guest
- 28:05on your show. And I think these three steps are so easy. All
- 28:09right, so. And that brings us to your gift, which actually works
- 28:13right into this. So, yeah, tell us about your gift and the fact that you
- 28:17want them to contact you on LinkedIn. Yes. So
- 28:20that's part of this. So you're. You're getting them to practice the steps. So that's
- 28:24great. So go ahead, tell us about the gift. Exactly. So I have
- 28:28a podcast guesting cheat sheet that I'm so
- 28:31Happy to share with you. You know, when you're listening to Yvonne's podcast,
- 28:35reach out to me on LinkedIn, you know, my name is Noemi
- 28:39Beres. You can type it in. You will find me. There's a tiny
- 28:42microphone sign next to my name and reach out.
- 28:46Send a connection request and ask and tell. Tell me
- 28:50that, like, oh, I was listening to your podcast to. To
- 28:54Yvonne's podcast. And please can you send me the cheat sheet?
- 28:58So I will send you my little cheat sheet over a
- 29:01LinkedIn message, and then we can start a conversation. That's my
- 29:05gift. And I the re. And I love this, because
- 29:09who doesn't love a cheat sheet? That's the first thing. But also, she's kind
- 29:13of taken you through the steps that you need to go through
- 29:17if you were to contact a podcast host. So you're getting a little
- 29:20practice in there, too. So that's fabulous. Okay.
- 29:24So, all right, we need to. We need to kind of do some of the
- 29:27things that we need to do. So tell me the last time you did
- 29:31something new for the first time. Well, it
- 29:35was back in 2025,
- 29:39and that was my first trip to the US to North
- 29:42Carolina. And I love hiking. And so I
- 29:46combined the two. First time ever in the US And a hiking trip.
- 29:50And those places were amazing. In rain, in mud, in
- 29:54everything. And that was the first time ever I tried something
- 29:58like that in the U.S. so that was. Yeah, it was a
- 30:01fantastic experience. Oh, I know. You
- 30:04know, I heard someone say travel is the one thing that you never
- 30:08waste your money on because it just opens up your mind and
- 30:12the experiences are, you know, are lasting. All right, I
- 30:16hate to do this, but. But gotta do the commercial.
- 30:19And so I hope all of you will subscribe and share and engage on
- 30:23social media about this podcast. One of the reasons that I do it
- 30:27is it's my way of giving back and helping, hoping to grow a vibrant
- 30:31community where we're all in the business of trying to
- 30:35grow our business. So I hope you'll continue to join me with the one
- 30:39small change, and we can keep making changes and schedule small
- 30:42changes together that were. That will yield momentum.
- 30:46Sorry, and transformations. And if you haven't seen the first
- 30:50episode, there are a couple of episodes there that I did by myself because
- 30:53I felt a need to. To express myself.
- 30:57So there's one for the 100th anniversary, the 100th
- 31:01episode that you might want to look at as well. So
- 31:04give us your last words. What do you want us to take away from this?
- 31:09I want people to take away that whatever you do
- 31:13in business and when it comes to, you know, starting a podcast and
- 31:17starting, you know, being a podcast guest, just keep going.
- 31:20That's kind of the motto in life. I think it's really important to
- 31:24being consistent, being persistent in whatever you do. And
- 31:28that's what my mom told you growing up in Hungary. Like, you know, keep doing
- 31:31it. Keep putting that work into it, because each. It will work out. It
- 31:35always works out. And I also have
- 31:39another motto which is important to him, another quote which
- 31:42says, it's on my desk. It's always like, it's always next to me. Every
- 31:46day is a new life to a wise person. And just keep
- 31:50living by that. Whatever you do in life and business.
- 31:54That's beautiful. I like that. I like that a lot. So,
- 31:57everybody, our time is up, and I'm sorry we have to stop, but
- 32:01we do. So remember, the change is simple, but it's not always
- 32:04easy. It requires courage and resilience and a
- 32:08willingness to step out of your comfort zone if you're not feeling
- 32:11uncomfortable on a regular basis. Guys, you're not
- 32:15growing. You know, you're stagnating. You're. You're. You're just wallowing in
- 32:19your comfort. So I hope you will continue to join me on the one
- 32:22small change. Until the next time, stay very, very
- 32:26curious. Thank you for coming and sharing
- 32:30with us. Thank you so much, Yvonne. It was my pleasure.
