- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables. I met my younger self for
- 0:02Speaker 1: coffee today.
- 0:04Speaker 2: She said she took the bus because she doesn't have
- 0:06Speaker 2: her license yet.
- 0:07Speaker 1: I said, girl, same, She said, ho, when are you
- 0:11Speaker 1: gonna get it?
- 0:15Speaker 2: Someone want to say, girl, your boy best friend can
- 0:18Speaker 2: fuck off? Oh yeah, your boy best friend is not
- 0:21Speaker 2: your best friend. He's not your friend at or your
- 0:23Speaker 2: boy best friend can absolutely fuck right off.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I told Oddie, I'm not going.
- 0:27Speaker 2: To say fucking this episode, but I really have said
- 0:29Speaker 2: it a lot, but it had to be said at
- 0:31Speaker 2: the end.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Here he can literally go and eat a dip. Relatable.
- 0:46Speaker 1: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Audie Clark aka Mummy,
- 0:50Speaker 1: and my partner in crime is the Jake Craig aka Daddy.
- 0:55Speaker 1: How does it feel to say that just to me
- 0:57Speaker 1: and no one else? It feels a maze so much better. Yes,
- 1:01Speaker 1: it's almost like a relief. I want to start. I
- 1:04Speaker 1: just wanted to quickly say thanks to everyone that that
- 1:08Speaker 1: watched or listened to the episodes with the girls, bathroom
- 1:10Speaker 1: mentioneds and gigs big moments for us. That was awesome.
- 1:13Speaker 2: And if anybody's just stuck around and came over.
- 1:16Speaker 1: To welcome welcome, Welcome, everybody. We just want to have
- 1:20Speaker 1: a warm welcome to where the baddies unite. That is
- 1:23Speaker 1: male and female of course.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah, all men and women all welcome. They're all baddies,
- 1:29Speaker 2: bade everyone's Yeah. I just wanted to say, yeah, it's
- 1:33Speaker 2: pretty cool.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Imagine just just thinking about it, right, I'm just thinking, like,
- 1:36Speaker 1: because I was thinking if I was to see maybe
- 1:38Speaker 1: a favorite podcaster of mine have a guest, yeah, or
- 1:43Speaker 1: like they guessed it on a podcast, and so I
- 1:45Speaker 1: went and listened to it, and I was like I
- 1:46Speaker 1: might listen to them without them, and then the next
- 1:49Speaker 1: episode they were just like, if you're from that episode, welcome.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I would have been like, oh I feel special. Yeah, everything,
- 1:55Speaker 1: I want everyone to feel special. And thinking about it too,
- 1:58Speaker 1: even if we got like one new listener, that's one
- 2:01Speaker 1: whole kiddish human. It's a soul. Yeah, it's a soul.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It's a soul. It's a full soul with a living, breathing,
- 2:08Speaker 1: beating heart. All right, literally, yeah, it's so easy to
- 2:13Speaker 1: get disconnected from that that everyone is a soul. I
- 2:16Speaker 1: like how you mentioned soul man, that's I like you.
- 2:17Speaker 3: It's a come on, don't go like making me look
- 2:22Speaker 3: bad in front of all the bad You're just not
- 2:25Speaker 3: very like what's a holistic?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Holistic? Yeah, okay, I can't argue with that, but you
- 2:30Speaker 1: know what I can argue with you, you mate, that
- 2:35Speaker 1: was a great transition almost, I almost almost. What do
- 2:41Speaker 1: you I think I caught you off? Guy, that's why
- 2:43Speaker 1: you laugh. I'm ready to argue now.
- 2:46Speaker 2: But okay, So, as all the all the o G
- 2:50Speaker 2: baddies know, we've been doing an argument at the start
- 2:53Speaker 2: of each episode, so we don't be so agreeable the
- 2:54Speaker 2: whole time.
- 2:55Speaker 1: You know what I've been noticing, Actually we don't agree
- 2:57Speaker 1: that I agree that much anymore. Yeah, so we we've
- 3:00Speaker 1: been doing the argument, right, but I think it's more
- 3:03Speaker 1: on Patreon. I think I've noticed it. But we've been
- 3:06Speaker 1: fucking arguing just randomly in the episodes of late we
- 3:08Speaker 1: have been we've been fighting. So maybe this is working.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Maybe maybe it is, like, so we'll keep doing it. Yeah,
- 3:14Speaker 1: what are we arguing about today?
- 3:16Speaker 2: So it's whether or not you should move out of
- 3:19Speaker 2: your hotemetown or stay in your hometown. So someone's arguing
- 3:22Speaker 2: for stay and someone will be arguing for moving out
- 3:24Speaker 2: of hometown.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Which is relatable for us at the moment, because we
- 3:28Speaker 1: are if you are on Patreon plug, we are discussing
- 3:33Speaker 1: potentially moving to a new state next year. Yeah, which
- 3:37Speaker 1: is very exciting, daunting, scary. Yeah, no, it's very exciting.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And I'm actually I'm moving in about ten days, not
- 3:42Speaker 1: even wall Sydney. Where to take the limelight away from us?
- 3:45Speaker 1: Fucking selfish? Yeah, we live in the moment, and we start,
- 3:49Speaker 1: we start thinking about one step ahead instead of twenty. Okay,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I'm thinking about us. You're thinking about yourself, of course,
- 3:55Speaker 1: think about it. I'm the one that's growing our future
- 3:58Speaker 1: as a podcast. All right, accord in the air? Which one?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Tell me which one you were? I get ready to argue.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Tell me what I'm not going to tell you. I
- 4:05Speaker 1: just want to argue. Let me win, all right, Ready,
- 4:09Speaker 1: which which which point do you want? I'm going to
- 4:11Speaker 1: win first and I'll decide. Okay, call in there, tales, shit, Ah,
- 4:16Speaker 1: let's go. I'm arguing for you should move away from
- 4:19Speaker 1: your hometown. Okay, I disagree. That was so forced. I disagree.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Do you want me to start? Yeah, you start? I
- 4:33Speaker 1: might throw shade this one. Maybe I'm feeling a little
- 4:35Speaker 1: bit Yeah, toxic all right, all right, right, Okay, Jake,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I thoroughly believe that I am going to be better
- 4:44Speaker 1: than you in life because I'm going to move away
- 4:48Speaker 1: from my hometown. That's why you think you're going to
- 4:51Speaker 1: be better than me in life, because I'm going to
- 4:53Speaker 1: experience so much more growth, find my independence, find my place,
- 4:58Speaker 1: rather than assuming that the place my parents chose is
- 5:03Speaker 1: the best place in the world.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, hear what you're saying, But what are you chasing?
- 5:08Speaker 1: My freedom? So you're chasing a bit of freedom. What's
- 5:12Speaker 1: going to make you feel more free about being in
- 5:13Speaker 1: a new place and leaving everyone that you grew up
- 5:15Speaker 1: with and love, your parents included. Because I chose this place.
- 5:19Speaker 1: This place is for Oddie Clark, the new place. Yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 1: not everyone around me. I'm not sacrificing what I want
- 5:27Speaker 1: to make everyone else around me happy. Okay, And so
- 5:31Speaker 1: plan wise, obviously you want to leave, go somewhere, and
- 5:35Speaker 1: then what about you and Cassie? You go move right,
- 5:40Speaker 1: you guys, go do your little thing, your little Oh
- 5:42Speaker 1: look at us, we want to leave, you know, we
- 5:44Speaker 1: want to go be like individual. We want to go
- 5:46Speaker 1: just leave everyone we love. We want to leave my
- 5:48Speaker 1: parents and want to leave her parents, want to live
- 5:49Speaker 1: on my friends, everyone I grew up with, right, And
- 5:51Speaker 1: you guys go, oh, you know, we actually really like
- 5:52Speaker 1: this place, but we're twelve hours away. Okay, that's okay, though,
- 5:56Speaker 1: it's fair enough.
- 5:56Speaker 2: And then you go and you think, oh, well I
- 5:58Speaker 2: want to marry this girl. Okay, you get married, you're
- 6:00Speaker 2: married for a year or two, and then you buy
- 6:02Speaker 2: a house in this new place. Okay, sounds crazy, and
- 6:04Speaker 2: then you have kids you're coning tone.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Doesn't and then make me feel good? And then this
- 6:09Speaker 1: is where I'm getting.
- 6:09Speaker 4: And then and then you think, okay, well look at us.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Look everyone just like us. Okay, everyone's looking at us,
- 6:14Speaker 4: and think how well they didn't. You have a couple
- 6:17Speaker 4: of kids, all right, don't you want you kids to
- 6:19Speaker 4: see your grandparents? Don't want your kids to see your friends?
- 6:21Speaker 4: Don't you want to kids to see me?
- 6:23Speaker 1: You know everyone else? Yes? But I think there comes
- 6:29Speaker 1: a time in your life where your parents accept that
- 6:32Speaker 1: you are going to start your own life. So, because
- 6:35Speaker 1: they love me, I don't technically need to be near
- 6:38Speaker 1: them to feel the love. And I can always come
- 6:41Speaker 1: back for certain occasions birthdays, Christmases, Easter, if I really
- 6:45Speaker 1: want to or kid's birthdays.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Or any two people raise you, Odie. They gave away
- 6:50Speaker 2: twenty years of their life to turn you into the
- 6:52Speaker 2: man you become today. Okay, and you just want to
- 6:54Speaker 2: up and leave and then raise some kids twelve hours
- 6:56Speaker 2: away from them and they don't even get.
- 6:57Speaker 1: To see them. And they did a good job, But
- 7:00Speaker 1: did they be They're going to be sitting here thinking
- 7:02Speaker 1: I don't need to rely on them anymore. They're going
- 7:04Speaker 1: to be sitting here thinking what did we do to
- 7:06Speaker 1: deserve to just be left here? They can tick the
- 7:09Speaker 1: box of job complete and they can do their own life.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Now they can go they want to see their grandkids.
- 7:13Speaker 1: You don't know that if they're actually for a factor,
- 7:16Speaker 1: if they want to see them, they can come to me.
- 7:19Speaker 1: They're my kids. Selfish. Yeah, you're going to be selfish
- 7:22Speaker 1: in life. You've got to be Why are you going
- 7:24Speaker 1: to be selfish life towards the ones that raised you?
- 7:26Speaker 1: I loved you unconditionally when you were a little shit,
- 7:28Speaker 1: when you were a kid, and now this is the
- 7:29Speaker 1: biggest spit in their face ever? What do you mean
- 7:32Speaker 1: they probably only they only want to read the benefits
- 7:35Speaker 1: of my kids You're a classic, are one of those
- 7:37Speaker 1: classic humans that just always wants more and more and
- 7:39Speaker 1: more and more and more. I don't even have kids yet.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I'll cross that road. You said one step at a
- 7:45Speaker 1: time at the star and then what are we talking
- 7:46Speaker 1: about here? Okay, so you're going to go to this
- 7:48Speaker 1: new place and then just you're going to just leave again?
- 7:50Speaker 1: All right? Yeah, you're gonna be like, well, now you
- 7:52Speaker 1: know what I think you're going to be like, thinking
- 7:54Speaker 1: that you looking at you. Kids are going to be like, dad,
- 7:55Speaker 1: what did you do? All right? They're going to say, kids,
- 7:58Speaker 1: Your kids are going to be saying, dad, what do
- 7:59Speaker 1: you do? All right? And you're gonna say, you know
- 8:02Speaker 1: what I did. I said fuck you to my parents
- 8:05Speaker 1: and I left, so you know what you should too,
- 8:07Speaker 1: and then you didn't even can see your grandkids. Stop
- 8:10Speaker 1: thinking about your deathbed on it, mate. We are spiraling
- 8:13Speaker 1: right now. I just wanted to move from me man,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I haven't thought that far ahead. I need to find
- 8:18Speaker 1: my place, not my kid's place. So you don't want
- 8:22Speaker 1: to plan for your kid's future. So my mindset is
- 8:26Speaker 1: I need to do this before I have kids, so
- 8:28Speaker 1: potentially I might not think that place is the environment
- 8:31Speaker 1: to raise kids. And where we are now because my
- 8:33Speaker 1: parents are here and they pick this place is a
- 8:35Speaker 1: place to raise kids. But for my independent self, I
- 8:38Speaker 1: got to do this. Man, I can always come back.
- 8:40Speaker 1: They're not leaving anywhere that I can always come back.
- 8:44Speaker 1: So you plan on coming back? Is that's what I'm hearing. No,
- 8:47Speaker 1: I can. It's always there for me. It's not going anywhere.
- 8:49Speaker 1: It's not like the moon mate. I can't not go there.
- 8:53Speaker 1: So you're treating this place like a You're like a
- 8:56Speaker 1: toxic boyfriend in a bad relationship. How so I can
- 8:59Speaker 1: always came back. She'll always be This place will not
- 9:03Speaker 1: always be waiting for you want it. There's going to
- 9:04Speaker 1: be not there's not always going to be houses to
- 9:05Speaker 1: buy it. I'm always going to be placed to live.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I'm not taking this place for granted. I know how
- 9:10Speaker 1: beautiful it is. You are taking it for granted because
- 9:12Speaker 1: you're leaving. No, I'm not. You're taking it for granted
- 9:14Speaker 1: and you're living and you're saying I'll come back if
- 9:15Speaker 1: I want, Yes, yes, yes, taking it for granted. Your
- 9:18Speaker 1: analogy doesn't work for a place. You're comparing people to
- 9:21Speaker 1: a place. This doesn't work or it's not about the place,
- 9:23Speaker 1: it's about the people, and the people are your parents
- 9:26Speaker 1: that you're leaving, and your friends and you're family. I'm
- 9:34Speaker 1: just going to do it. That was a good one.
- 9:39Speaker 1: That's good. You had some great arguments. Realize how much
- 9:42Speaker 1: you cared about I don't give a I'm leaving. I'm
- 9:46Speaker 1: full leaving. That was a good hill. My parents left me, Yeah,
- 9:52Speaker 1: I know. I was like, you know what, maybe there
- 9:55Speaker 1: was a little pent up aggression towards my parents there.
- 9:57Speaker 1: That's what I was thinking. Leave you left me off
- 10:00Speaker 1: for myself. You don't value our connection, our bond. Wow.
- 10:05Speaker 1: That was crazy. That was crazy. Wow. No, that was
- 10:08Speaker 1: a good one. That really got us loomed up. Pause
- 10:11Speaker 1: that got us mad lube almost too lude mate after
- 10:14Speaker 1: after recording with She's in gigs, I've got this whole
- 10:16Speaker 1: pause thing. I did it with Beth and she was like,
- 10:20Speaker 1: shut up, or if you didn't know what it is,
- 10:22Speaker 1: you'll be like are you talking about?
- 10:23Speaker 2: She was like, And then I was like, oh, I'm sorry,
- 10:25Speaker 2: I'm trying to implement pause in my vocabulary. And she
- 10:27Speaker 2: was just like she was like who she was like,
- 10:29Speaker 2: who said this that you want to copy?
- 10:31Speaker 1: This? From when I was like, she's in gigs. We
- 10:32Speaker 1: was like with Beth, we like ready to get down dirty,
- 10:35Speaker 1: all loaded up. You're like pause. It was a funny situation.
- 10:41Speaker 1: We were in my car parked and a car went
- 10:43Speaker 1: past and misted their sons their windshield spray or whatever. Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 1: So she goes, oh, they just sprayed us, and I
- 10:48Speaker 1: was like pause, and I was proud. I was like,
- 10:51Speaker 1: this was a great like moment. She goes, she was
- 10:53Speaker 1: like pause, what now? I explained it.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I explained it, and she goes and she was trying
- 10:58Speaker 2: to say like it's kind of like a moment of
- 11:00Speaker 2: when you would say that's what she said, right, and
- 11:03Speaker 2: then she goes okay, and so I was explaining it
- 11:05Speaker 2: again and she just goes, yeah, no, she's not.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Landing with me, not landing on her. And I was like,
- 11:11Speaker 1: just grow up. You're probably like it is, isn't it.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I was like, it's gonna it'll land one day. I said,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you're gonna hear a lot more a pause out of
- 11:20Speaker 1: me talking about ships and gigs though, Jake, when you
- 11:23Speaker 1: had that scenario and I ended up sucking your dick, yes, pause,
- 11:28Speaker 1: that's no. I I don't think that pause is needed
- 11:31Speaker 1: because of how direct to the point that way. Well,
- 11:36Speaker 1: I just had to let it sink in. Okay, okay.
- 11:38Speaker 1: It made me think about our relationship together. Sorry that
- 11:43Speaker 1: I won't be annoying. Made us think about our relations
- 11:46Speaker 1: relationship together. Right, Yeah, And we figured out how much
- 11:50Speaker 1: I love you. But I wanted to come back with
- 11:53Speaker 1: a little hypothetical scenario for you to see how much
- 11:57Speaker 1: you love me. Okay, okay. The scenario is how much
- 12:03Speaker 1: do you love podcasting? Firstly? Ten out of ten? It's
- 12:06Speaker 1: a great answer to start out as much as you
- 12:07Speaker 1: can love it. Okay, this is gonna be good. So
- 12:10Speaker 1: one day we are doing a podcast and because we
- 12:15Speaker 1: are in Australia and there's plenty of wild animals, I
- 12:19Speaker 1: somehow get bitten by a funnel web or a red back,
- 12:23Speaker 1: any type of poisonous spider, and we for some reason
- 12:29Speaker 1: don't get through the emergency room in time, and I
- 12:32Speaker 1: die because I didn't get the anti venom. You're dead,
- 12:37Speaker 1: So I die doing what I love podcasting with you. Yeah,
- 12:41Speaker 1: So we have video footage of when the spider crawled
- 12:44Speaker 1: up my leg and I am now dead. The question
- 12:47Speaker 1: is do you ever podcast again? Oh? Shit, you better
- 12:57Speaker 1: fucking know it. Wait a second, whoa, whoa, whoa. Of
- 13:05Speaker 1: course I will what in the memory of your name?
- 13:09Speaker 1: I will podcast again. No, my whole podcast will be
- 13:12Speaker 1: about grief and what it's like to go through losing
- 13:15Speaker 1: your best friend. Okay, Okay, would it still be under
- 13:19Speaker 1: the name Relatable? No, I wouldn't keep doing relatable Okay
- 13:22Speaker 1: after you die, Okay, when you're after your after you've died,
- 13:26Speaker 1: I will probably release like a five minute episode. How
- 13:32Speaker 1: long how long of grief period do you have where
- 13:35Speaker 1: you don't release episodes? Four? I want a solid amount
- 13:39Speaker 1: of time, please.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Okay, So you're dead the funeral like depends. Do I
- 13:44Speaker 2: have to talk at your funeral?
- 13:45Speaker 1: Yeah? You gotta do a live podcast, matey. This is
- 13:50Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna live stream your funeral, okay,
- 13:52Speaker 1: and I'm gonna sell tickets to it. Okay.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Obviously the ticket sales will be going towards my bank
- 13:57Speaker 2: account because I no longer can have a fucking career.
- 14:00Speaker 1: My family I love so much because talks about it.
- 14:02Speaker 1: They're all good.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Hospily, I'll give twenty percent or something like that. Maddie'll
- 14:05Speaker 2: also get a percentage. Obviously she always takes it for
- 14:08Speaker 2: cent us up. And then so I'll be I'm going
- 14:11Speaker 2: to live stream it, and I'm going to sell tickets
- 14:13Speaker 2: that people can actually come to it. And what I'm
- 14:15Speaker 2: gonna do is go and say, so I'll do like
- 14:18Speaker 2: a little intro, and I'll be like, this is what
- 14:20Speaker 2: Addie always wanted. We didn't get to do a live
- 14:22Speaker 2: show before he died, so I wanted to do it
- 14:24Speaker 2: while he was still technically in the room with us
- 14:27Speaker 2: in his casket, ca.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Ouch or do a live show.
- 14:31Speaker 2: And then I would, yeah, I know, I'd do a
- 14:34Speaker 2: couple of segments, just like probably on my own.
- 14:37Speaker 1: My favorite one's deep. Yeah, I already love deep segments.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I do want to know.
- 14:42Speaker 2: For real, for real, I'm trying to think if you died,
- 14:47Speaker 2: I wouldn't be able to do it for a while.
- 14:48Speaker 2: A like I think I think if you died, I
- 14:51Speaker 2: would I would get a job again and really go
- 14:55Speaker 2: m I A like I'd get a job and just
- 14:57Speaker 2: fall off the face of like the planet and social media,
- 15:01Speaker 2: and then I'd yeah, I'd go get a job, probably
- 15:02Speaker 2: just go to be a chippy and just like really
- 15:05Speaker 2: like because I hate being a chippy. I'm going to
- 15:07Speaker 2: be depressed that you're dad. I'm like going to choose
- 15:09Speaker 2: something that's going to make me more depressed obviously. Yeah,
- 15:13Speaker 2: so I'm going to go live through that. And then
- 15:17Speaker 2: so I say twenty five, they will be like twenty.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Seven, I'll be back. We'll take that. I'll be back
- 15:24Speaker 1: at twenty seven. What a comeback story it would be? Yeah,
- 15:28Speaker 1: what would you call the podcasts?
- 15:30Speaker 2: I'd probably just stick with Passenger Princess.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Oh really, yeah, I wouldn't. I wouldn't be able to
- 15:34Speaker 1: do it relate was I wouldn't be able to do
- 15:35Speaker 1: it with someone else either. It's like thinking about it because.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Like, well, actually I think actually, let me ask you
- 15:40Speaker 2: this if when when a spouse passes away, people usually
- 15:48Speaker 2: wait a couple of years, but then they get a
- 15:50Speaker 2: new girlfriend.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Sometimes, so maybe I could get a new host. No way,
- 15:57Speaker 1: no way, No one can replace me. I could do
- 16:02Speaker 1: who's maybe Harry from Blues and Greens? Mate this seat?
- 16:10Speaker 1: No one can feel it, mate, No one can make
- 16:13Speaker 1: this rumor is a shrine? Yeah you better, but no,
- 16:15Speaker 1: relatables would be dead. Relatables would die with you, I hope.
- 16:18Speaker 1: How long would you wait for serious answers by the way,
- 16:21Speaker 1: I don't want just like a couple of weeks. I'm
- 16:23Speaker 1: not here to laugh. This is serious. Yeah, okay, what
- 16:25Speaker 1: do you know? Laugh? How long would you wait if
- 16:27Speaker 1: I died?
- 16:30Speaker 5: Hmmm?
- 16:31Speaker 1: And would it be relatables? Hmm? Good question? Could Jack
- 16:36Speaker 1: replace me? No, he doesn't get it. No one gets
- 16:40Speaker 1: it like you do. No one gets it like you do. No.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I think I would have to start a new show. Yeah. Honestly,
- 16:48Speaker 1: my glass half full premise would be great because I'd
- 16:50Speaker 1: be like, oh, so my best friends passed away, but
- 16:53Speaker 1: my death would make you fucking such a good pick,
- 16:56Speaker 1: like such a good place for people to go to. Yeah,
- 16:59Speaker 1: I think I would wait like poor I can like
- 17:02Speaker 1: year and a half now fair enough, and then I'd
- 17:04Speaker 1: be bored and be like, funk, I gotta do something.
- 17:06Speaker 1: See that's what I'm said.
- 17:07Speaker 2: But I also think like, because it's like me up
- 17:10Speaker 2: in heaven obviously, it's where I would go.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Pause fucking with you for you up in heaven, and
- 17:19Speaker 1: so me up in heaven looking down. Think I like
- 17:22Speaker 1: thinking about it? Right?
- 17:23Speaker 2: If I died, I wouldn't want you to wait. True,
- 17:26Speaker 2: I'd be like, dude, capitalize on this fucking growth.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I don't know. I feel like I'll be like a
- 17:30Speaker 1: bit of like a petty ghost. I'll be like really
- 17:33Speaker 1: hating some people to see floating around like fun. That's
- 17:37Speaker 1: who are you gonna haunt? If you can haunt someone?
- 17:40Speaker 1: Oh what do you mean giving you? I really want
- 17:47Speaker 1: to haunt someone when I die. That's why I believe
- 17:50Speaker 1: in like supernatural, like souls move on, like reincarnation, Like
- 17:54Speaker 1: I want to reincarnate into a ghost, so do I.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I was like, I'm not a believer in God, but
- 17:59Speaker 2: I do, like I do believe in ghosts and ship.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I believe in a higher being, something more than us,
- 18:06Speaker 1: but I don't give it a title like God. It
- 18:09Speaker 1: could be like a one eyed Cyclops for all we know.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Fuck it's you can get pretty deep about the whole
- 18:15Speaker 1: God chat, can't you. But no, I guess I'm an atheist.
- 18:20Speaker 1: So I believe in nothing. I believe in chance. I
- 18:24Speaker 1: believe I believe that we did just get lucky and
- 18:26Speaker 1: we are here because of a chance. To the argument that,
- 18:33Speaker 1: I think it's a really good argument when people break
- 18:35Speaker 1: it down like DNA and stuff and they go look
- 18:37Speaker 1: at this, like this is written. I think the argument
- 18:42Speaker 1: of like, look at all this shit, like this didn't
- 18:44Speaker 1: happen accidentally. I think that's a good argument, honestly, Well,
- 18:49Speaker 1: chance is just the big Bank theory.
- 18:50Speaker 2: To be honest, facts, Yeah, you've caught a chance.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Chance we'll know the big theory. It's a chance. I
- 18:54Speaker 1: do believe in the Big Bank, can you know what?
- 18:55Speaker 1: I also scientist and raveling the mystery? True.
- 18:58Speaker 2: The show really tries to back up the thing about
- 19:01Speaker 2: the big Bank theory is I genuine I think the
- 19:04Speaker 2: Big Bank theory is.
- 19:04Speaker 1: As hard to believe as there is a god. Do
- 19:08Speaker 1: you think?
- 19:09Speaker 2: Like you how do you just like, how do ask
- 19:12Speaker 2: they tell us how big the universe is? Apparently it's
- 19:14Speaker 2: incomprehensible to humans, right, and then they're like, oh, but
- 19:17Speaker 2: we do know that fourteen billion years ago it was
- 19:20Speaker 2: the size of the fucking head of a pin and
- 19:21Speaker 2: then it blew up.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Like. The reason I think it's the Big Bank theory
- 19:26Speaker 1: is because, like, there's so many different animal species and
- 19:30Speaker 1: technically we're just another species, and for some reason we
- 19:33Speaker 1: think we are the top dogs and we got to
- 19:35Speaker 1: figure everything out. Yeah, like why aren't we just happy
- 19:37Speaker 1: like dogs just to live it? Oh? I wish. Yeah, yeah, no,
- 19:40Speaker 1: I wish I could just live in the moment like that.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yeah, no, Henry, he really lives in the moment every
- 19:44Speaker 2: dog does, you know what I love about? So yesterday
- 19:47Speaker 2: I went to Beth's house and I got there before her.
- 19:49Speaker 2: She was on her way home from the park when
- 19:50Speaker 2: I got there. So I went there and I went
- 19:51Speaker 2: inside before they were home, and no one was home.
- 19:54Speaker 2: And she said that she was like at the gate
- 19:57Speaker 2: to go up the stairs to go to a front door,
- 19:59Speaker 2: and it's like, Henry knew I was there. He smelled
- 20:02Speaker 2: your mate, obviously, but I didn't realize that I left
- 20:04Speaker 2: that much of a cent for him to just be
- 20:05Speaker 2: able to know I was there. Apparently ran up the stairs.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Did you not know how good dogs are? It's smelling?
- 20:10Speaker 1: I actually, but I didn't think it was like that. Yeah,
- 20:13Speaker 1: me just like straight walking with shoes on. You're aroma,
- 20:16Speaker 1: just it just my aroma just hangs around with the
- 20:19Speaker 1: wind blowing and everything. Isn't that fucking wild? Knowing you
- 20:21Speaker 1: would have been like you would be like, get these
- 20:28Speaker 1: out before Beth comes home today. No, I didn't. But
- 20:33Speaker 1: I just think it's crazy that he knows I'm there. Oh, yeah,
- 20:35Speaker 1: one hundred percent. He's a new dog too, so his
- 20:38Speaker 1: nose is on. Yeah, true, he's in his peak. His
- 20:40Speaker 1: game is on. Talking about Dana. I found something out
- 20:43Speaker 1: the other day that is mind boggling. Tell me if
- 20:47Speaker 1: you think this is believable. It was on a podcast
- 20:50Speaker 1: and it was like finding out your real DNA or
- 20:52Speaker 1: something something like that. And there's only ten cases active
- 20:58Speaker 1: in America right now. But it's a hard thing to tests,
- 21:00Speaker 1: so they actually don't know. But so twins, for example, right, yeah,
- 21:04Speaker 1: you would think one hundred percent they have the exact
- 21:06Speaker 1: same DNA, same mum and dad. There's cases out there.
- 21:10Speaker 1: This blew my mind where obviously same mum has to
- 21:14Speaker 1: give birth to them separate dads because a girl has
- 21:19Speaker 1: had sex with more than one person, like within two
- 21:22Speaker 1: days or something. Yeah, if they're hyperovulating and they have
- 21:26Speaker 1: sex with more than one person, I think the timeframe
- 21:28Speaker 1: can get up to three days, but it can be
- 21:29Speaker 1: the same day if they really want to. Wait a second,
- 21:31Speaker 1: you can have twins that have different dads born at
- 21:34Speaker 1: the same time. Yeah, well, just like slightly after each other,
- 21:36Speaker 1: but they're still twins like the normal, just like a couple.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Of hours after each other. Yeah, And one of the
- 21:40Speaker 1: people with the callers on the podcast was one of
- 21:43Speaker 1: these people, and they found out because they're like the
- 21:45Speaker 1: whole life, they've been completely different. Are you were twin
- 21:47Speaker 1: then yeah, because you're still the same mum. Yeah, but
- 21:50Speaker 1: you and you and you and eton have the same mum.
- 21:52Speaker 1: You're not twins, yeah, but they still the same. They're
- 21:54Speaker 1: born at the same time. That's what a twin is.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I don't know if that's the technicality of it, but
- 21:57Speaker 1: the fire was mind blown. I was like, what the
- 22:00Speaker 1: hell that is crazy. I didn't think that was possible.
- 22:02Speaker 2: So does that mean that she was with someone and
- 22:04Speaker 2: cheated on the other guy?
- 22:05Speaker 1: No, I don't think she was married at all.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Or she just like just had a couple of one
- 22:08Speaker 2: night stands. Yeah, just like got lucky two nights in
- 22:10Speaker 2: a row. Yeah, as you do. Yeah, and then fucking
- 22:13Speaker 2: had two kids.
- 22:14Speaker 1: They were speculating whether or not there was threesomes involved,
- 22:17Speaker 1: like the kid was She's like, I just don't want
- 22:19Speaker 1: to know, but like it was three. Oh wait, that's
- 22:20Speaker 1: such a good point. The mum definitely just had a
- 22:22Speaker 1: threesome with two guy. But it can be. It can
- 22:23Speaker 1: be up to three days pretty much. And I was like, wow,
- 22:25Speaker 1: I did not know that crazy the human talking about
- 22:28Speaker 1: like the Big Bang theory and like human bodies are
- 22:30Speaker 1: just crazy what they can do. Wow. Yeah, Wow, damn,
- 22:37Speaker 1: that's crazy.
- 22:38Speaker 4: I find that.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Look, actually, anything, I think anything's possible, so do I.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I can be surprised by something. But I'm not going
- 22:43Speaker 1: to say that's not real. I Lowky, you think it's
- 22:45Speaker 1: cool too?
- 22:46Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I think that's crazy. But oh no, I
- 22:49Speaker 2: was going to say, no, they're the same mum, So
- 22:51Speaker 2: they still. So that means that these twins are only
- 22:53Speaker 2: half siblings.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it, and they are twins. Crazy a The
- 22:57Speaker 1: more you think about it, you're like, what the fuck? Yeah? Nah,
- 23:00Speaker 1: that's like, ah, so crazy. All right, Jake, I'm a
- 23:08Speaker 1: bit stressed. I've been trying to book a romantic getaway
- 23:11Speaker 1: for myself and my girlfriend for a birthday. Mate. You
- 23:13Speaker 1: are a green flag, and I'm feeling so much pressure
- 23:18Speaker 1: right now. What we both want is a couple of things. Actually,
- 23:22Speaker 1: it has to have a pool because we're there over
- 23:23Speaker 1: the weekend, and it's meant to be sunny dog friendly
- 23:25Speaker 1: for Cassie's dog. This one's a bit rogue, a big kitchen,
- 23:29Speaker 1: a good location near nice restaurants, and obviously, Matte, it's
- 23:33Speaker 1: got to be romantic for us too. First off, why
- 23:36Speaker 1: do you need a big kitchen? Second off, what are
- 23:39Speaker 1: you worried about? Mate?
- 23:41Speaker 2: I've got three words for you. That's Airbnb guest favorites.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'll get to the kitchen bit. But what are you
- 23:47Speaker 1: talking about? Listen up. I went through the same thing
- 23:49Speaker 1: a little while ago when me and my girlfriend were
- 23:51Speaker 1: planning our anniversary, and that's when I came across guest favorites.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Once we'd agree on our.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Non negotiables, I use the little guest favorites tab and
- 24:00Speaker 2: it showed us all the homes that other guests have loved,
- 24:02Speaker 2: so then we knew we would too.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Honestly, that sounds like a bit of a game changer.
- 24:06Speaker 1: But I want to run you through what I've got
- 24:08Speaker 1: plan and tell me what you think. So we rock
- 24:10Speaker 1: up Friday, drop our stuff off, and then I've got
- 24:13Speaker 1: a sunset picnic plant, mate, sounds pretty good. Then Saturday,
- 24:17Speaker 1: just want to chill by the pool all day, get
- 24:20Speaker 1: our zen time in, and by the afternoon we want
- 24:23Speaker 1: to attempt Here's where the kitchen comes in mate to
- 24:25Speaker 1: bake her birthday cake. Ah, I see, I see. I
- 24:29Speaker 1: don't know how well it will go. But to finish
- 24:31Speaker 1: the night, obviously we're going to have a romantic dinner,
- 24:34Speaker 1: but it does have to be close by because I
- 24:36Speaker 1: want to come back to our airbnb and give her
- 24:38Speaker 1: her presents. Mate, it sounds like a pretty good plan. Oh,
- 24:43Speaker 1: you may have outdone me, but I don't know about that.
- 24:45Speaker 1: But yeah, hey, stop stressing. Airbnb has got you covered.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Hopefully neither of the girls are listening to this episode
- 24:52Speaker 2: Fingers crossed. Okay, Odie, I have once again come across
- 24:58Speaker 2: my new favorite TikTok friend. Yeah, and the first video
- 25:02Speaker 2: I saw of it actually was your girlfriend's and then
- 25:05Speaker 2: I went and looked it up and I saw a
- 25:06Speaker 2: bunch more. And it's that trend where it's supposed to
- 25:09Speaker 2: be like mad wholesome, and it's people saying like I
- 25:13Speaker 2: went and met my younger self for coffee today, and
- 25:16Speaker 2: then they say something like, oh, she wore this, I
- 25:19Speaker 2: wore this, like maybe she was depressed. I let her
- 25:23Speaker 2: know that it's going to be over soon, like you'll
- 25:26Speaker 2: be better soon.
- 25:26Speaker 1: It's all like super wholesome coming from a good place,
- 25:28Speaker 1: coming from a great place, right, Yeah, and then obviously
- 25:33Speaker 1: I don't like those ones as much. Yeah, so wholesome,
- 25:38Speaker 1: boring the ones that I found, the people that were
- 25:41Speaker 1: kind of giving themselves shit. Okah.
- 25:43Speaker 2: So I met my younger self for coffee today. She
- 25:48Speaker 2: paid using dad's credit card, and I paid using the
- 25:51Speaker 2: exact same card.
- 25:54Speaker 1: We don't evolve. We haven't grown. If it's not broken,
- 25:58Speaker 1: don't fix it. Yeah, we haven't grown. No, not at all.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I met myself for young I met my younger self
- 26:04Speaker 2: for coffee today. She was exactly thirty minutes early. I
- 26:08Speaker 2: didn't show up. She's annoying as fuck. She texted me
- 26:12Speaker 2: asking where I was, so I.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Blocked her relatable. I was thinking the same thing.
- 26:19Speaker 4: When I read that, I was like, you know what,
- 26:21Speaker 4: my younger self can fuck off?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Literally, eh, the things we used to do, oh man,
- 26:27Speaker 1: just like so much, so much annoying stuff, the things
- 26:32Speaker 1: we would have done too. Everyone's done something that we
- 26:35Speaker 1: don't regret them, but we're like, that wasn't the best idea,
- 26:38Speaker 1: was it? Yeah?
- 26:39Speaker 2: Even just like thinking about how annoying you used to be. Yeah, okay,
- 26:44Speaker 2: I met my younger self for coffee today. She said,
- 26:47Speaker 2: she took the bus because she doesn't have her license yet.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I said, girl, same, she.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Said, ho, when are you gonna get it? Oh? Yeah,
- 27:00Speaker 1: that's a fucking there's a good movie on Amazon. I
- 27:04Speaker 1: can't remember what it's called. And it's got good reviews.
- 27:08Speaker 1: And she does a mushroom trip. Oh and in the
- 27:11Speaker 1: trip she meets her older self, which is the same.
- 27:14Speaker 1: That's cool, and she's like chipped a tooth and they
- 27:16Speaker 1: talk about like how she chipped a tooth and like
- 27:18Speaker 1: her parents and how she turned out. And she's like, oh,
- 27:21Speaker 1: she's like forty now. She's like, oh, I'm still kind
- 27:22Speaker 1: of hot. Let's go fucking. I'm thinking what would I
- 27:29Speaker 1: do with that power if I met my older self.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I don't want to meet my If you could ask
- 27:33Speaker 1: one question, what would it be, did it all work out?
- 27:36Speaker 1: Fuck that that's so cliche, because but I don't want
- 27:39Speaker 1: to know specific things or if it won't happen. Did
- 27:41Speaker 1: it all work out? I would be like, give me
- 27:45Speaker 1: some lotto numbers that won in like twenty forty two.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Okay, No, genuinely, if I met my older self, depending
- 27:50Speaker 2: on what he looks, like, Oh, hey, what if.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Your guy's bored.
- 27:53Speaker 2: I was just gonna say, I was gonna say, did
- 27:55Speaker 2: we lose our hair? Because if he has hair, it's
- 27:57Speaker 2: like he may have he may have a hair transplant. True,
- 27:59Speaker 2: so I want to be like, how does the hair go?
- 28:02Speaker 1: Would you go to Turkey? Like honestly, mid mid thirties,
- 28:07Speaker 1: just like, yeah, Dan not now. I would do it
- 28:09Speaker 1: in my mid thirties one hundred percent. Really, yeah, I
- 28:11Speaker 1: don't give a fuck's pread of the lord, mate.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I would even probably to be complete, honest, I'd probably
- 28:16Speaker 2: do it now really like I kind of want to
- 28:18Speaker 2: have a shaved head.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Give us a look. No, why fuck off? No I
- 28:22Speaker 1: met my younger self for coffee today, or no, we
- 28:25Speaker 1: relate to this one again. I met my younger self
- 28:27Speaker 1: for coffee today. He was wearing skinny jeans, so I
- 28:30Speaker 1: smacked the fuck out of him that one. Let's go
- 28:37Speaker 1: oh shit, oh shit. I feel like that's the equivalent
- 28:42Speaker 1: of getting like Snapchat memories come up and there's some
- 28:45Speaker 1: pictures of you and you're like, what were you wearing? Autie?
- 28:49Speaker 1: You like, oh, I wish my mum's still dressed. I
- 28:54Speaker 1: can't believe it's like, yeah, you go through this. I
- 28:57Speaker 1: always think right, So how I dress right now?
- 29:00Speaker 2: Like in ten years from now, am I going to
- 29:02Speaker 2: look back at me now and be like what am
- 29:04Speaker 2: I wearing?
- 29:05Speaker 1: I've always thought, at what stage do you stop like
- 29:08Speaker 1: keeping up with the fashion trends? Good question because like
- 29:12Speaker 1: our parents have obviously given up. Oh yeah, fucking that
- 29:17Speaker 1: is where what's comfortable? But at what age do I
- 29:19Speaker 1: stop buying fashionable clothes? I'm like, oh, I'm happy with
- 29:21Speaker 1: what I've got.
- 29:23Speaker 2: It's okay, No, you know what it is. Something has
- 29:25Speaker 2: happened in society, and I'm pretty sure I know what
- 29:30Speaker 2: it is, right, So the big.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Bang theory, I think it's it happened.
- 29:37Speaker 2: I think that it's got something to do with social
- 29:40Speaker 2: media and being able to see what everyone else looks.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Like like all the time, and.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Then it's like the constant comparison of us with them,
- 29:49Speaker 2: and so also probably advertising as well, like when you're
- 29:54Speaker 2: online being advertisings and you buy it online because.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you see all the new things. More.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I think that we won't. I think we will always
- 30:02Speaker 2: change with the times, just because of when social media
- 30:05Speaker 2: was brought in into our lives we were early teens. Yeah,
- 30:09Speaker 2: so I think you and I and everyone around us
- 30:11Speaker 2: will always change.
- 30:12Speaker 1: We will always keep.
- 30:13Speaker 2: That makes sense, or like, at least we will always
- 30:15Speaker 2: keep up with our generation.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, we won't ever just like be stuck.
- 30:21Speaker 2: But at the same time, I'm thinking, like, like, what
- 30:22Speaker 2: you and I wear in right now, in my opinion,
- 30:25Speaker 2: would be considered like timeless. But in ten years we
- 30:30Speaker 2: might look back and think the fucking.
- 30:31Speaker 1: We look back at the addy of their haircuts and
- 30:33Speaker 1: you're like, well, they think.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Actually true, I'm going to look back at this, this
- 30:36Speaker 2: fucking mustache, and I'm going to think, what were you two?
- 30:41Speaker 1: Give it a couple of days, mate, I still I've
- 30:44Speaker 1: got I've gotten a couple in my message requests. I
- 30:47Speaker 1: have a couple that I haven't like opened, but I
- 30:50Speaker 1: can read it. It's a couple of people saying keep
- 30:52Speaker 1: the mustache. It's all I need. Yeah, all I need
- 30:55Speaker 1: is a couple of people to say keep it. And
- 30:56Speaker 1: I'm one person. I'm in there.
- 30:59Speaker 2: I met my younger self for coffee today. He asked
- 31:02Speaker 2: if I if I have ever used sin cause and
- 31:06Speaker 2: tan I said, no, not once.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Ah, that is the biggest lie we have ever been
- 31:14Speaker 1: told in school. You're going to need this one. You're older.
- 31:16Speaker 1: What that is that Pythagos there? I think sin cosant team,
- 31:19Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't even remember a square plus
- 31:22Speaker 1: B squad squared is with every math teacher tells you
- 31:25Speaker 1: that you were going to use this for the rest
- 31:26Speaker 1: of your life, is that to make themselves feel better
- 31:28Speaker 1: about their job. To be fair, all they're doing is
- 31:32Speaker 1: doing their job and just going off the curriculum. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:35Speaker 1: they will be if they don't reckon the curriculum says
- 31:38Speaker 1: you're going to use this for the rest of your
- 31:40Speaker 1: life in it.
- 31:40Speaker 2: But to be fair, I think about this, right, if
- 31:43Speaker 2: you're just doing your job as a teacher, right, because
- 31:46Speaker 2: we have found out that people who become teachers are
- 31:48Speaker 2: just everybody like you and me, and it's a noble job.
- 31:52Speaker 2: You're raised in the next generation, I see it much appreciated.
- 31:57Speaker 1: But knowing what you and I like, right, if we
- 32:00Speaker 1: went into teaching, we were teaching maths for a year
- 32:02Speaker 1: seven and we start doing Sincos, tan, Pythagoras whatever, yeah, okay,
- 32:08Speaker 1: and all these little annoying, fucking thirteen year olds are like, bro,
- 32:12Speaker 1: mister Clark, when are we going to use this in
- 32:14Speaker 1: our life? And all you want to do is get
- 32:17Speaker 1: this next half an hour, forty five minutes over and
- 32:19Speaker 1: done with. You're gonna say, you know what, you little fuck,
- 32:21Speaker 1: You're gonna use it every fucking day when you're out
- 32:23Speaker 1: of school, right, So get it done. That's what I'd say.
- 32:25Speaker 1: All I heard was mister Clark, I can't like that. No,
- 32:31Speaker 1: very true. Yeah.
- 32:33Speaker 2: I met my younger self for coffee today and she
- 32:36Speaker 2: was a bitch. That was your that was your girlfriend's one.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Oh better at it? Pretty funny. Yeah, share that, Cassie.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I met my younger self for coffee today. She said
- 32:48Speaker 1: she hopes to be smarter with money one day. I
- 32:51Speaker 1: told her it's only going to get worse, and I
- 32:53Speaker 1: asked her to pay for my dream. I feel like
- 32:58Speaker 1: the more money you get, the harder it is to matter.
- 33:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Actually, our manager was talking about it. She said, everyone
- 33:03Speaker 2: kind of just lives within their means. So if you
- 33:06Speaker 2: make minimum wage, you buy all the cheap stuff and
- 33:10Speaker 2: you just go about your life that way. But if
- 33:13Speaker 2: you make a fuck ton of money, because you have
- 33:15Speaker 2: a fuck ton of money, you spend it. Yeah, you
- 33:20Speaker 2: buy all the name brand stuff, you buy new clothes
- 33:21Speaker 2: because you can, and you always just have the same
- 33:24Speaker 2: amount in your savings because you live within your means. Okay, guys, dilemmas.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Do you know I have a dilemma each? If you
- 33:36Speaker 2: would like to submit a dilemma, it will be in
- 33:38Speaker 2: the description of this video or in the link in
- 33:41Speaker 2: our Instagram bio.
- 33:42Speaker 1: You can go in.
- 33:43Speaker 2: It's a Google Docs. It's all anonymous. You can tell
- 33:45Speaker 2: us whatever you want. You can confess something or we
- 33:48Speaker 2: obviously like to answer dilemmas.
- 33:49Speaker 1: But even if you just want to say yes or
- 33:51Speaker 1: no Jake's mustache, go ahead, I say it more same, yeah.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yeah, But if there's any nose, if there's any nose
- 33:58Speaker 2: in there, there will be no more dilemmas because I
- 34:01Speaker 2: literally won't go in and check.
- 34:03Speaker 1: I will go in or do you have to choose
- 34:05Speaker 1: my dilemmas for me? And then there'll be a less
- 34:07Speaker 1: genuine podcast. I don't okay this when it comes with
- 34:10Speaker 1: the title Okay, I cheated on my boyfriend with my
- 34:14Speaker 1: girl best friend. Oh, I would like to preface before
- 34:18Speaker 1: I start reading. After listening to this.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Audio, you're being a greens with me. No one can
- 34:26Speaker 2: have a best friend of any gender anymore. You and
- 34:28Speaker 2: I were not best friends anymore. You and I are
- 34:30Speaker 2: just good friends.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Okay, don't take you the heart. You're going to see why.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I see what you're saying. Okay, you and I and
- 34:36Speaker 1: now are just good friends. Because we have girlfriends, We
- 34:38Speaker 1: are now just good friends. Okay, don't get any ideas, mate.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Whatever happened in here isn't gonna happen with us.
- 34:46Speaker 2: I am a twenty three year old female and I
- 34:48Speaker 2: have been dating my boyfriend for about four months. We
- 34:51Speaker 2: dated two years ago for one but he eventually broke
- 34:55Speaker 2: up with me. There were obviously problems, but no bad blood.
- 34:59Speaker 2: We were both young and and he worked hard to
- 35:02Speaker 2: get me back. He even went through a panel interview
- 35:05Speaker 2: with my best friends and roommates while they batted him
- 35:08Speaker 2: with questions about his intentions, what went wrong last time,
- 35:12Speaker 2: and what will change, etc.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Weird?
- 35:14Speaker 2: Okay, anyway, we are back together and better than ever.
- 35:19Speaker 2: We are planning to move to a new city and
- 35:21Speaker 2: move in together in the fall. This is where it
- 35:24Speaker 2: gets weird. I have always questioned my sexuality a little bit,
- 35:29Speaker 2: but have never explored that side of myself and have
- 35:33Speaker 2: even been embarrassed to admit it, given I come from
- 35:37Speaker 2: a very religious family. Well, it turns out my best friend,
- 35:41Speaker 2: who I grew up with, also a woman, and who
- 35:44Speaker 2: also has a boyfriend, has always felt the same way.
- 35:47Speaker 2: We were chatting about it one night and we decided
- 35:50Speaker 2: to experiment on each other. We just wanted to know
- 35:53Speaker 2: what it was like. We gave each other head and
- 35:55Speaker 2: both finished. It really didn't feel like a sexual experience,
- 36:00Speaker 2: even though it was. It just felt like two best
- 36:03Speaker 2: friends who trusted each other with this big secret and
- 36:05Speaker 2: needed answers about their sexuality. I understand that it was
- 36:09Speaker 2: wrong and that I cheated, but something about it just
- 36:12Speaker 2: didn't feel like it was that big of a deal.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Well.
- 36:16Speaker 2: I told my boyfriend about a week later, and at
- 36:19Speaker 2: first he was just turned on by it, typical boy,
- 36:23Speaker 2: but as the week went on he started to feel
- 36:25Speaker 2: more and more betrayed. I have explained the situation and
- 36:28Speaker 2: he is so kind and understanding, but still hurt. He
- 36:32Speaker 2: told me that if I asked him for permission before
- 36:34Speaker 2: I did it, he would have said yes, but instead
- 36:37Speaker 2: I betrayed his trust, which makes me feel terrible. I
- 36:40Speaker 2: have apologized a million times and just don't know how
- 36:43Speaker 2: to get past this. Other than the cliche of give
- 36:46Speaker 2: it time. The weird thing about this situation is that
- 36:49Speaker 2: I am so incredibly embarrassed and could never tell another
- 36:52Speaker 2: soul what happened. Not because I cheated, but because it
- 36:55Speaker 2: was a girl and my childhood best friend. I don't
- 36:59Speaker 2: want him to tell anyone about it, but he obviously
- 37:01Speaker 2: needs to talk about it. I mean, I need to
- 37:04Speaker 2: talk about it, but I can't because of the Because
- 37:07Speaker 2: the friend I experienced with this with is dealing with
- 37:10Speaker 2: the same thing with her boyfriend and almost made me
- 37:13Speaker 2: feel bad about what happened. I just don't know how
- 37:16Speaker 2: to get past this and not let it define our relationship.
- 37:20Speaker 2: He has been so hot and cold lately, and it's
- 37:22Speaker 2: eating me alive that I hurt him, and I'm just
- 37:25Speaker 2: sure he is thinking him he is thinking himself to death.
- 37:28Speaker 2: I would be too. Am I an asshole? Should I
- 37:31Speaker 2: keep apologizing to him? Would you break up with me
- 37:33Speaker 2: if it were you? Can I still be friends with
- 37:35Speaker 2: the girl? How do we move past this? I love
- 37:37Speaker 2: him so so much and I didn't mean to hurt him.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I just need.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Answers, and yes, I would be upset if the roles
- 37:43Speaker 2: were reversed, but I feel like it's different with two girls.
- 37:47Speaker 1: How do we move on the complexities. Jake, this is
- 37:52Speaker 1: a hard one. This is very complex. Let's strip it
- 37:57Speaker 1: back and firstly say I respect of sex, sleeping with
- 38:02Speaker 1: someone else while you were in a relationship is one
- 38:05Speaker 1: hundred percent cheating. Yeah, and fair enough. You wanted to
- 38:11Speaker 1: find out your sexuality, but the right thing to do
- 38:14Speaker 1: was your boyfriend said, would have been talked to him first,
- 38:17Speaker 1: not just go out and do it.
- 38:19Speaker 2: I can't like say it if she had gone and
- 38:22Speaker 2: slept with another dude, right and it was all heterosexual,
- 38:25Speaker 2: we could be like, oh, well, well, I semi relate
- 38:28Speaker 2: to this because it's like, oh, we have girlfriends, but
- 38:30Speaker 2: obviously you find other people attractive, and I'm not just
- 38:32Speaker 2: going to sleep with them to see what it sounds like,
- 38:34Speaker 2: so to see what it feels like. But because it
- 38:37Speaker 2: was like comes down to sexuality, it's really hard to
- 38:42Speaker 2: because like, I just feel bad that she is so
- 38:45Speaker 2: embarrassed by it.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Oh, you shouldn't be embarrassed.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel terrible that she's embarrassed by it because
- 38:50Speaker 2: of like how the way she grew up and stuff.
- 38:52Speaker 1: The way I'm thinking. I'm trying to think of a
- 38:55Speaker 1: way to take sex out of it, because you shouldn't
- 38:59Speaker 1: be embarrassed. If you girls or you wanted to experience
- 39:01Speaker 1: something else, that's completely fine. But the way you personally
- 39:03Speaker 1: approached it is what's wrong. Yeah. True.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Maybe the mindset of feeling like it's not that bad
- 39:10Speaker 2: because it was that like because you did it.
- 39:12Speaker 1: With another girl is the wrong mindset. I think. Also,
- 39:16Speaker 1: you should be able to talk about it, like I
- 39:18Speaker 1: know you're in a family that's raised up in a
- 39:20Speaker 1: very religious background, like, but you and your boyfriend should
- 39:24Speaker 1: be able to talk about it to other people as well,
- 39:27Speaker 1: because that's completely If you were single and slept with
- 39:29Speaker 1: another girl, completely fine. Yeah, and you've put him in
- 39:32Speaker 1: this tricky situation where he doesn't know how to feel
- 39:35Speaker 1: because it's got a different gender involved. He does need
- 39:38Speaker 1: to talk to someone else outside your two relationship. It's
- 39:40Speaker 1: too complex not to.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Eight, I do agree, I think so. So the hard
- 39:45Speaker 2: thing with it where my mind goes right is she
- 39:48Speaker 2: doesn't want anyone to know her secret, or maybe she
- 39:51Speaker 2: is okay with someone knowing her secret just to try
- 39:52Speaker 2: and talk about it, right, But she can't speak for
- 39:55Speaker 2: the other person, so she would have to talk to
- 39:57Speaker 2: someone about it and just not let anyone know who
- 39:59Speaker 2: it is, because she's probably feeling as though, Oh well,
- 40:01Speaker 2: I can't spill my best friend's secret of also questioning
- 40:04Speaker 2: her sexuality because what if she doesn't want it out there.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Yeah, don't tell who you slept with, Like, don't kiss
- 40:08Speaker 1: and tell anyway, just say I slept with another woman. Yeah,
- 40:11Speaker 1: just be like I was questioning my sexuality as to
- 40:12Speaker 1: the woman you need, it's got to be someone you trust. Yeah,
- 40:15Speaker 1: it's this one's one hundred percent out of our realm
- 40:18Speaker 1: of expertise. Yeah, just because we've also never experienced like
- 40:23Speaker 1: wanting to explore the other gender, So it adds another
- 40:25Speaker 1: layer into it. It's so complex. I do feel bad.
- 40:28Speaker 1: I'm sorry girl for your boyfriend. Yeah, no, I do too.
- 40:31Speaker 1: I feel bad for him.
- 40:32Speaker 2: I feel bad for her as well, Like, even though
- 40:35Speaker 2: she did the wrong thing, I'm happy I can admit that.
- 40:37Speaker 1: But it's yeah, I know, I feel bad for both
- 40:39Speaker 1: of them. Yeah, it's sort of like and the other
- 40:42Speaker 1: boyfriend of the other and I feel bad for the
- 40:43Speaker 1: other girl the best friend. I'm trying to think how
- 40:47Speaker 1: the only piece of advice we can give properly. We
- 40:49Speaker 1: can't really talk on the sexuality types of things like
- 40:51Speaker 1: we don't have an experience in that aspect. If we
- 40:53Speaker 1: do have experience in how that a boyfriend would feel
- 40:56Speaker 1: if this happened to us, yes, that's where our best
- 41:00Speaker 1: expertise can come into consideration.
- 41:04Speaker 2: So here's okay, I don't know how it would feel
- 41:06Speaker 2: if it happened, because it hasn't happened, But I can
- 41:08Speaker 2: say how I think I would feel if it happened.
- 41:10Speaker 2: And so I think that if this was to have
- 41:12Speaker 2: happened to me, I would be initially like, I would
- 41:19Speaker 2: probably feel the same, just because of like societal norms.
- 41:21Speaker 2: I'd probably be just kind of like, ah, that hurts,
- 41:24Speaker 2: like but again, I would probably get in my head
- 41:27Speaker 2: of like, yeah, but it was with another a woman,
- 41:29Speaker 2: so it's not as bad. And then I think, after
- 41:31Speaker 2: a while of that, that's like the denial phase, right,
- 41:34Speaker 2: And I think I would get to a point where
- 41:35Speaker 2: I think, yeah, but you're right. If you strip it back,
- 41:37Speaker 2: you just straight up cheated on me.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Yeah. I think the trust factor is the biggest thing
- 41:41Speaker 1: for me. Like, she made the conscious decision to have
- 41:45Speaker 1: some fun. I know it was for probably a good
- 41:47Speaker 1: reason to figure out something about your sexuality, but you
- 41:49Speaker 1: still made the conscious decision to have some fun at
- 41:52Speaker 1: the expense of your boyfriend, which you've made a commitment
- 41:55Speaker 1: to to be loyal to.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Yeah, look, okay, if you strip it back to humanity,
- 41:58Speaker 2: we always say, if you're the cheat on someone, it's
- 42:01Speaker 2: still terrible to do, but break up with them, and
- 42:03Speaker 2: so technically you haven't cheated, like you need to break
- 42:06Speaker 2: up with them, so you haven't like cheated on them.
- 42:08Speaker 2: And it's like, that is the absolute least you can do.
- 42:10Speaker 2: The absolute best you can do is break up with
- 42:12Speaker 2: them and then wait a few weeks and then sleep
- 42:13Speaker 2: with this person you really want to sleep with. Right,
- 42:15Speaker 2: So if you bring it down to just like a
- 42:16Speaker 2: black and white humanity thing, you just should have broken
- 42:20Speaker 2: up with your boyfriend and then tested your sexuality.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and that is that. I don't know is that
- 42:26Speaker 1: right to say? I feel it? Is that the right
- 42:27Speaker 1: or wrong thing? No? I think maybe it is. I
- 42:30Speaker 1: think also like the way she went about it is
- 42:33Speaker 1: like she probably doesn't have any answers to her sexuality
- 42:35Speaker 1: because of the complexities around after what happened. And yeah,
- 42:38Speaker 1: and now she's apologizing because she's just thinking about a boyfriend.
- 42:41Speaker 1: She didn't figure anything out. See that sucks. Yeah, so
- 42:45Speaker 1: like I don't know, maybe you are, Yeah, maybe you
- 42:47Speaker 1: need time to be alone. Yeah, that's what I was
- 42:49Speaker 1: thinking thinking, just like figure out yourself. Like a relationship
- 42:53Speaker 1: is two people, and you needed to do this for
- 42:55Speaker 1: yourself fair enough, but like you could kind of owe
- 42:57Speaker 1: it to him to figure this stuff out before being
- 43:01Speaker 1: in a relationship or say, hey, I need time for myself.
- 43:04Speaker 1: I don't know how I'm feeling. I don't know what I.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Like, because you can really always at the same time,
- 43:09Speaker 2: you can only be you can only be sorry for
- 43:13Speaker 2: so long, right, It's like how long are you going
- 43:17Speaker 2: to be sorry for? That's why I have always like
- 43:20Speaker 2: if someone's cheated on someone else in a couple, you know,
- 43:23Speaker 2: sexuality out of it. I don't want to I would
- 43:26Speaker 2: never judge someone for staying with someone if they got
- 43:28Speaker 2: cheated on either. But again, it's like I just would
- 43:30Speaker 2: always be thinking how long does this needed person need
- 43:33Speaker 2: to be sorry for? Or even the person that's done
- 43:35Speaker 2: the cheating is like I fucked up. I understand it
- 43:39Speaker 2: that they're upset and probably going to have trust issues
- 43:41Speaker 2: for a long long time now if we worked, if
- 43:44Speaker 2: we can work through it together, But.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Again, It's like you would just get sick.
- 43:47Speaker 2: You would be fed up with being sorry for so
- 43:49Speaker 2: long and feeling that guilt for so long.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Would you not?
- 43:53Speaker 2: Like that's why it's probably that's why it's cheating and
- 43:54Speaker 2: it always breaks up relationships.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think it also comes back down to, like,
- 43:58Speaker 1: you didn't communicate very well your boyfriend of how you're
- 44:01Speaker 1: feeling about your sexuality. You should be in a safe
- 44:04Speaker 1: environment where she should say like, hey, like, I don't
- 44:07Speaker 1: know how I'm feeling. I've always been interested in women,
- 44:09Speaker 1: but like, can I try? Like he said, he would
- 44:11Speaker 1: have been fine with it if you asked, like, this
- 44:13Speaker 1: is what I'm feeling.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know about him saying I would have
- 44:16Speaker 2: been okay with it if you just asked me if
- 44:18Speaker 2: you could go sleep with your best friend. It's like,
- 44:19Speaker 2: how can you How can you know, like past tense,
- 44:21Speaker 2: what you were going to say in that situation.
- 44:23Speaker 1: I don't think he would have known. I think it's
- 44:24Speaker 1: just the right thing to do to tell or to
- 44:27Speaker 1: tell him. Yeah, it's the right thing to do to ask,
- 44:30Speaker 1: not after an approval, because she can do whatever she wants,
- 44:32Speaker 1: but like tell him how she's feeling and then he
- 44:35Speaker 1: has all the maths equations before she does it. Look
- 44:39Speaker 1: he's not just thrown it in the deep end and
- 44:40Speaker 1: you're just like, oh, well this is I've got to
- 44:42Speaker 1: deal with this now. Yeah. True.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Like, yeah, when you started dating him, you made a
- 44:45Speaker 2: choice to have someone else's feelings in your hands. So
- 44:49Speaker 2: I understand that you would have been super scared to
- 44:51Speaker 2: talk about your sexuality and changing it and sorry like
- 44:54Speaker 2: questioning it. I think at the same time you should
- 44:56Speaker 2: have said something doing.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I think you can work through it. Very individualized to
- 45:01Speaker 1: your relationship, very tough on the boyfriend, so I feel
- 45:05Speaker 1: a little bit bad for him, but I think there
- 45:07Speaker 1: is a light at the end of the tunnel. So yeah,
- 45:09Speaker 1: I would say I think she needs to be alone.
- 45:11Speaker 1: I was going to say, you need to ask yourself
- 45:14Speaker 1: the question of do you want to be alone or
- 45:16Speaker 1: do you want your boyfriend?
- 45:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say whatever your gut's saying in this situation,
- 45:20Speaker 2: just because you feel guilty, don't feel like you need
- 45:22Speaker 2: to stay with him.
- 45:22Speaker 1: And also accept the fact that he has every right
- 45:24Speaker 1: and not to continue the relationship.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I think, yeah, going with your gut on this
- 45:28Speaker 2: one is one hundred percent the right move Yep, sucks, but.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Al right, next dilemma, this is juice. Now. First one
- 45:37Speaker 1: was juice. It's a long story. I'm sorry. Me and
- 45:40Speaker 1: my now ex boyfriend had been together for three years.
- 45:44Speaker 1: He's twenty six and I'm twenty four. We moved in
- 45:48Speaker 1: after four months together and we have been inseparable ever since.
- 45:52Speaker 1: We are the definition of black cat golden retriever aerngie
- 45:56Speaker 1: and he was honestly amazing. He has set the stand
- 46:00Speaker 1: It's so high for me, and I've never truly loved
- 46:02Speaker 1: someone like this. My intuition is very strong, and I
- 46:05Speaker 1: always knew he was going to be the person I
- 46:07Speaker 1: marry and have children with. For reference, I believe I
- 46:10Speaker 1: was also a very good girlfriend, and we had such
- 46:13Speaker 1: a good three years together. In general, we didn't have
- 46:16Speaker 1: many issues in our relationship except when we drank together.
- 46:20Speaker 1: I trust him with my life, but he gets very
- 46:24Speaker 1: drunk and stays out all night, and when he's drunk,
- 46:27Speaker 1: he is very insecure and wants a lot of reassurance.
- 46:31Speaker 1: I did find it quite difficult because everything else was perfect,
- 46:35Speaker 1: but I generally couldn't cope with this and constantly needed
- 46:39Speaker 1: to reassure him. Recently, we had more issues than usual,
- 46:43Speaker 1: and I started to feel really insecure about my body again.
- 46:46Speaker 1: I have previous body image issues, and we weren't having
- 46:49Speaker 1: sex very much. We had also spoken about moving to
- 46:52Speaker 1: Australia this year in brackets. We're from the UK since
- 46:55Speaker 1: the beginning of our relationship and it has always been
- 46:58Speaker 1: my dream. It hasn't really been his dream, but he
- 47:01Speaker 1: was prepared to come with me. We said we would
- 47:03Speaker 1: just figure it out when we were there, but recently
- 47:06Speaker 1: he told me he doesn't think he can afford to
- 47:08Speaker 1: come slash. He didn't really want to do it, which
- 47:10Speaker 1: made me feel extremely abandoned. The week before we broke up,
- 47:14Speaker 1: we started sleeping in separate beds every night. And this
- 47:17Speaker 1: next bit doesn't really make sense sense. He kept trying
- 47:19Speaker 1: to come through, but I just felt so sad, like
- 47:22Speaker 1: come through the other bedroom. Maybe maybe Yeah. Neither of
- 47:25Speaker 1: us communicated well, and I think we were both in denial.
- 47:28Speaker 1: In hindsight, we should have definitely just had a conversation
- 47:31Speaker 1: about things, because at the end of the day, neither
- 47:33Speaker 1: of us really wanted to lose one another for at
- 47:36Speaker 1: a lengthy part, I went out last weekend with my
- 47:38Speaker 1: best friends boys and girls he didn't come because we
- 47:41Speaker 1: weren't in a good place and tend to argue when drunk.
- 47:44Speaker 1: On the night, he went out with his friends instead
- 47:46Speaker 1: and we started chatting drunk. Neither of us are very
- 47:49Speaker 1: happy about the past week, but at the end of
- 47:52Speaker 1: the night I was extremely drunk. My friend took me
- 47:54Speaker 1: upstairs and we got ready for bed together. After this,
- 47:57Speaker 1: I was crying in my girl best friend's spare room,
- 48:00Speaker 1: and my boy best friend, who my boyfriend had previously
- 48:04Speaker 1: concerns about had previous concerns about, came up to check
- 48:07Speaker 1: on me, as he usually does. We ended up sleeping
- 48:10Speaker 1: together and within one minute I stopped it and I
- 48:15Speaker 1: broke up with my boyfriend properly. Ah. I knew it
- 48:20Speaker 1: was wrong, and I left the house at four am
- 48:23Speaker 1: and told my boyfriend the next day. I am not
- 48:25Speaker 1: defending myself, but I am quite sensitive, caring, full of love,
- 48:28Speaker 1: kindness type of girl, and tend to put everyone around
- 48:31Speaker 1: me above myself. I was absolutely distraught the next day
- 48:34Speaker 1: and cried more than I've ever cried of how I
- 48:36Speaker 1: hurt my boyfriend and also how out of character it
- 48:38Speaker 1: was for me, not an excuse I know at the time.
- 48:41Speaker 1: My boyfriend went crazy. Now we are living Ami Clepe.
- 48:45Speaker 1: We are living Amiiclebee, how do to say it amicably?
- 48:48Speaker 1: Amicalle and he's about to move out. The issue we
- 48:51Speaker 1: have now is he wants to forgive me, but he
- 48:53Speaker 1: is fighting against it as he has too much self respect. Me,
- 48:57Speaker 1: my friends, and my whole family think this can be
- 48:59Speaker 1: fixed due to how how good we were previously and
- 49:01Speaker 1: how out of character this was for me, and I
- 49:03Speaker 1: was extremely vulnerable at the time. Although we were in
- 49:06Speaker 1: a really bad place previously and probably on the verge
- 49:09Speaker 1: of breaking up. I think if we broke up because
- 49:11Speaker 1: of the Australia thing, we would have ended up back together.
- 49:13Speaker 1: He is generally my person. I've already done a lot
- 49:17Speaker 1: of work to sort out myself, like going to therapy,
- 49:19Speaker 1: et cetera. I do believe there is hope in the future,
- 49:21Speaker 1: but I just don't know how to act from here
- 49:23Speaker 1: on out. If I text him or try to initiate thing,
- 49:27Speaker 1: I just don't want him to think that he hates me,
- 49:29Speaker 1: and I also don't want to bombard him.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Okay, that was fucking long, all right, juicy In the end, there, Wow,
- 49:41Speaker 2: a lot happened. Okay, Oh, before all you say, yeah,
- 49:44Speaker 2: there's photos for this.
- 49:45Speaker 1: I have photos. Oh that's cool phone case, thank you
- 49:47Speaker 1: very much. Just that wolverine. Yeah, brother, fuck, that's sexy photos. Photos. Okay,
- 49:51Speaker 1: there's photos. We're obviously not allowed to show. These two.
- 49:55Speaker 1: That's him. Huh. Cute couple, very cute. No, I wish
- 50:00Speaker 1: I didn't see photos far. Very cute couple. Oh, you're
- 50:03Speaker 1: therefore hot. A hot couple. He's attractive and she is too. Yeah, good,
- 50:08Speaker 1: look at wait they're like a little power couple. I'd
- 50:11Speaker 1: say that were This is tricky.
- 50:16Speaker 2: I think I could keep my answer short of what
- 50:20Speaker 2: I think should happen.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Funnily enough, because of that last dilamma, I think you
- 50:25Speaker 1: both need a bit of a loane time.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that look takes two to break up
- 50:31Speaker 2: a relationship, right. I'm not saying that this is.
- 50:34Speaker 1: All your fault. Obviously it takes two to break up.
- 50:37Speaker 2: But the way I see it is that obviously you've
- 50:44Speaker 2: accepted what's happened. But I think like you just need
- 50:47Speaker 2: to fully, fully, one hundred percent accept what has happened. Yeah,
- 50:52Speaker 2: and it's it sucks, and I feel for you, baddie,
- 50:57Speaker 2: all right. I don't think you're a bad person. No,
- 51:00Speaker 2: you made a mistake.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Everyone makes mistakes.
- 51:02Speaker 2: Everyone makes mistakes. You're allowed to make mistakes. But the
- 51:05Speaker 2: thing that has the mistake you made was a big one.
- 51:08Speaker 2: And so I think that I don't want you to
- 51:12Speaker 2: like really think bad about yourself for your mistake.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Like you said, you've.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Already been working through it, but I think it's just
- 51:19Speaker 2: fully accepting that a mistake was made. That mistake has
- 51:23Speaker 2: pretty high percentage of having ruined the relationship and any
- 51:27Speaker 2: future relationship. I think that's the absolute best way for you.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Like I don't want you to try and go through
- 51:35Speaker 2: this thinking about your ex boyfriend. I think that he
- 51:38Speaker 2: should go through his motions of thinking about how he
- 51:41Speaker 2: can get better.
- 51:42Speaker 1: You should go.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Through your motions are thinking about how you can get better.
- 51:45Speaker 2: What's going to happen with him is he's going to
- 51:47Speaker 2: feel like shit because you did cheat on him. And
- 51:50Speaker 2: that's what's going to happen. You're going to go through
- 51:52Speaker 2: it feeling like shit because you're guilty, and that's okay.
- 51:55Speaker 1: You made a mistake. You just you're going to learn
- 51:58Speaker 1: from it. I think you did everything right, like first
- 52:00Speaker 1: up to it. The next day, like we said, we
- 52:02Speaker 1: all make mistakes and he just has to deal with
- 52:05Speaker 1: it in his own time, and I think there's no
- 52:08Speaker 1: point enforcing something before it's properly Here.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that that's the absolute best advice I
- 52:16Speaker 2: could give from everything I've heard. So I just want
- 52:19Speaker 2: to know yeap love, you appreciate your thank you for
- 52:23Speaker 2: telling us. Now what I want to say someone I
- 52:26Speaker 2: want to say, Oh shit, girl, your boy best friend.
- 52:29Speaker 1: Can fuck off. Oh yeah, your boy best friend is
- 52:32Speaker 1: not your best friend. He's not your friend at or
- 52:34Speaker 1: your boy best friend can absolutely fuck right off. I
- 52:38Speaker 1: told ODDI I'm not going to say fucking this episode,
- 52:39Speaker 1: but I really have said it a lot, but it
- 52:42Speaker 1: had to be said at the end. Here he can
- 52:44Speaker 1: literally go and eat a dick that went over my
- 52:48Speaker 1: head because I was thinking about her. But your boy
- 52:50Speaker 1: best friend can fuck off? That is everything. And every
- 52:54Speaker 1: hill we die on is every guy best friend waits
- 52:57Speaker 1: for this exact moment where you and a state of vulnerability,
- 53:01Speaker 1: where you were having trouble thinking about how you were
- 53:04Speaker 1: feeling in your relationship, and he pounced on the occasion,
- 53:06Speaker 1: which is what every guy best friend does. Like, yeah,
- 53:10Speaker 1: I'm not saying that, Like like it takes two to tango. Yeah, okay,
- 53:15Speaker 1: Like he's not the reason you and your boyfriend broke up,
- 53:18Speaker 1: But I just I really want to hammer into you
- 53:21Speaker 1: right now that he is not your friend and he
- 53:25Speaker 1: can fuck right off. He fucking pounced at the situation.
- 53:29Speaker 1: He knew what would happen. He knew you guys hadn't
- 53:31Speaker 1: broken up yet, all right, and he was fine with it.
- 53:34Speaker 1: If he was your friend and he loved you as
- 53:36Speaker 1: a friend and he was your best friend quotes, he
- 53:40Speaker 1: would have wanted you to He would want you to
- 53:41Speaker 1: be happy with your boyfriend. He would see that you're
- 53:43Speaker 1: in pain from that. He would have come up and
- 53:44Speaker 1: he would have checked in you, and he would have left,
- 53:45Speaker 1: tucked you into bed, maybe a kiss in the forehead,
- 53:48Speaker 1: and said have a good night. Yeap. He can fuck
- 53:50Speaker 1: right off. If it's in my opinion, yeah, I think
- 53:54Speaker 1: that really dials in what we say about guy best friends.
- 53:58Speaker 1: They always have an ulterior automotive. I can't talk right
- 54:01Speaker 1: ninety nine times out of ten. Wait, automotive, What did
- 54:05Speaker 1: I say, No, ultimate automotive is that right? Ulterior motive?
- 54:10Speaker 1: What did I say? Ultimately ultimotive is that it's not
- 54:12Speaker 1: a word. I think you're mixing up like ulterior motive
- 54:14Speaker 1: with automotive. Automotive automotive, ulterior motive. He had an ulterior motive. Yeah,
- 54:20Speaker 1: but that's ninety nine times out of one hundred.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I'm happy to accept it one time out
- 54:28Speaker 2: of one hundred that guy and girl best friend.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Can work out. I'll swallow my fucking words, all right,
- 54:34Speaker 1: button ninety nine times out of a fucking one hundred,
- 54:36Speaker 1: and when it could happen, it doesn't work, look out
- 54:38Speaker 1: bad again? What happened? Just a friend? Oh, this is
- 54:41Speaker 1: making me so mad. It's your blood, boy, I am
- 54:43Speaker 1: so so mad at this. You know what time? It is?
- 54:53Speaker 1: Time to call one of you baddies. If you want
- 54:56Speaker 1: to sign off one of our episodes, link will be
- 54:58Speaker 1: in the bottom of the episode in the description, and
- 55:01Speaker 1: also I'm going to put it in the Lincoln description
- 55:03Speaker 1: in Instagram as well. Okay, beautiful, I'm going to do that.
- 55:06Speaker 1: You've said that it has to be done. Yeah, I'll
- 55:08Speaker 1: edit it and be like, I'll go do something. Ready,
- 55:11Speaker 1: we are calling Bethany. I love it, like hello Bethany
- 55:17Speaker 1: speaking Hello. Hello? Is this Bethany, Yes, Bethany, it's Jake
- 55:22Speaker 1: and not from the relatables. How are you?
- 55:25Speaker 6: No way, yes, no king, Oh my god, thank god,
- 55:32Speaker 6: I pick up the phone.
- 55:33Speaker 4: I'm at work at the moment.
- 55:36Speaker 1: No ideas well.
- 55:37Speaker 5: I was like yeah, I was like, I was like, oh,
- 55:40Speaker 5: maybe this is like I don't know someone, but no way, thinking.
- 55:46Speaker 1: How how's working.
- 55:48Speaker 6: It's good.
- 55:49Speaker 5: I'm a GP nurse.
- 55:51Speaker 1: That's pretty cool.
- 55:52Speaker 5: Yeah, it's always it's toys. You never know what you're
- 55:55Speaker 5: going to get.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Respect, respect. Okay, we want you to sign on today's episode.
- 56:00Speaker 5: I never thought this, like I'd be chosen like I've
- 56:04Speaker 5: never thought I'm honored. It's so funny because I listen
- 56:09Speaker 5: to you guys every Wednesday morning because I have another
- 56:12Speaker 5: job at Cole's and I put the sale tickets on
- 56:15Speaker 5: on a Wednesday morning at four am, and you guys
- 56:17Speaker 5: are in my ear. I want everyone to know that
- 56:24Speaker 5: you have to find a good.
- 56:25Speaker 4: GP because.
- 56:29Speaker 6: Because your gps, like they when they get to know you,
- 56:34Speaker 6: they can like help out with some things that you
- 56:36Speaker 6: may not even know you need help with. So you've
- 56:38Speaker 6: got to have a good relationship with your GP, and
- 56:40Speaker 6: you've got to build that rapporal so then you feel
- 56:43Speaker 6: comfortable going to the GP and you can get things sorted.
- 56:46Speaker 5: Out that you may need sort it out. And I've
- 56:48Speaker 5: only learned this since working at a GP.
- 56:50Speaker 1: I love it. This advice is that was great, Healthyle,
- 56:54Speaker 1: Just give people to say advice instead of signing beany
- 56:56Speaker 1: thank you so much a day you too? O. My god,
- 57:03Speaker 1: ah that was great. What a wonderful Everyone be like Beth. Yeah,
- 57:08Speaker 1: go get a relationship with your GP. O. Thanks, stay bad, yeah,
- 57:14Speaker 1: stay bad? See yah. Wait a minute, you're still here? Ohdi,
- 57:29Speaker 1: I think they're still here. Why are you still here?
- 57:31Speaker 1: What are you doing here? Well, let's give you a
- 57:33Speaker 1: little Easter egg because you're a real fan. So this
- 57:37Speaker 1: is what happened last week on Patreon enjoy the fuck
- 57:42Speaker 1: is going on? So I actually thought about this when
- 57:44Speaker 1: I saw the story, and I was like, this guy
- 57:46Speaker 1: keeps having spider encounters. Yes, it's calm up, bitch, Why
- 57:51Speaker 1: because you every single month you're the only person I
- 57:53Speaker 1: know who does it? Gets this random guy with his
- 57:56Speaker 1: little chemical thing? Whoam the only guy sing? You're the
- 58:03Speaker 1: only guy in Australia. Correct yourself. At least it's every
- 58:06Speaker 1: six months. I swear he's here every month. I know
- 58:09Speaker 1: that guy on a first name basis man, because I
- 58:12Speaker 1: said it in front of you.
- 58:12Speaker 2: I'm the one that knows what a first name basics
- 58:14Speaker 2: because he comes here every month.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Name. I've seen him my name? No, I've seen him
- 58:21Speaker 1: like three times this year.
- 58:22Speaker 2: I swear the lemma, what if I have severe IBS
- 58:26Speaker 2: and scared to stay over at a guy's house like
- 58:29Speaker 2: after dinner date full of foods that will hurt my tummy?
- 58:32Speaker 2: But I still want to do I use the toilet?
- 58:34Speaker 2: Do I go home after sexy time? Do I tell
- 58:36Speaker 2: him in advance?
- 58:37Speaker 1: Do you care? I didn't think about this problem. That's
- 58:40Speaker 1: mad relatable.
- 58:41Speaker 2: I say from my perspective as a guy, I kind
- 58:46Speaker 2: of think like, let's get it over and done with
- 58:48Speaker 2: it as soon as post so I'm not holding shits
- 58:50Speaker 2: in for fucking six months.
- 58:52Speaker 1: How does ibs change the smell? I bet you it's stinkier.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Is it stinkier if you eat the wrong thing?
- 59:02Speaker 2: Because like irritable brown syndrome just means like there's a
- 59:04Speaker 2: bunch of stuff that just makes it irritated.
- 59:06Speaker 1: And this is one of the hardest things I think
- 59:08Speaker 1: anybody has to accept, and it's really relatable, is accepting
- 59:12Speaker 1: and figuring out your brain and your skin and accepting
- 59:18Speaker 1: what you're good at. But the hard thing to do
- 59:20Speaker 1: is accepting what you're not good at.
