  walked through this earth doing good, even though people were doing him dirty.

  He was in situations where he could have lashed back and could have been angry.

  He could have been had murderous thoughts. He could could have had sexual

  thoughts. He could have had slander in his mouth, he could have had
• 0:53
  gossip in his mouth. But he didn't do that. I promise you,

  if you look at his life, he didn't do any of that. Amen.

  He was a man of the God man Amen. And his situation was

  much worse than my situation. What's worse than your situation when it comes to

  people going after him, Amen, because they call them a blasphemer, they

  call him the ruler of demons, they call them a liar, they call

  them all kinds of nims. Meanwhile, he was going about doing good.

  Man. He was the only one who could do good, because he is

  God in the flesh right, he was the God Man. So I'm looking

  We have a perfect example of a God right who came in the form of

  a man, the Lord Jesus Christ, who had the ability and man and

  showed us how and brought us a manual of how to have this body control

  that I'm talking about. And the question is, how can we learn to

  control our own bodies a man. That's a process because remember we were all

  born right as babies, we didn't have any control over. We had to
• 2:49
  learn everything. We had to learn how to crawl, we had to learn
• 2:52
  how to walk, talk, We had to learn so many things as a
• 2:55
  baby, as an infant, we had to rely on somebody else to nurture

  us, to teach us, to show us. And then something incredible happens.

  We inherited this send nature for no reason. Well there's a reason.

  Genesis chapter three was the reason we inherited that right. And then amazing thing

  happens when we're kids. When we're babies, we learn how to say no,

  we learn how to disobey, and no one taught us. It's already
• 3:24
  in our sind nature. You might be thinking, well, that's not fair.

  to control our body outside of the purpose of Holy Spirit. Thank you so

  much that's trying for saving us and rescuing us from things that are trying to

  distract us, trying to keep us from the purpose that you have and the

  a life that is holy. It is possible for us to be holy because

  you said you're holy, so we are holy if we're children of God.

  Thank you for blessing us. Thank you for keeping us engaged through your loving

  boundaries. And thank you, Lord God, that we could keep things holy

  and sanctified. If we're in a marriage, we could keep that holy insanctified.

  ultimately, Lord God, we will give you the glory, honor, worship,

  and praise because we know we have the power to overcome, because you

  have overcame this world's system, and you know our bodies, you know our

  frailty, You know that we are distracted often, but you still love us,

  You still grow in us by way of your Holy Spirit, you still

  develop us, you still amplify your word according to your scriptures. Over our

  lives, and you change our hearts and you transform our minds. And Jesus

  Name, my prayer a hedgepa section over me, myself, my family,

  my marriage, our children, our household, our finances. And I pray

  that over every single person that's listening and watching right now and who will watch

  power of God's peace, the power of God's love, grace, mercy,

  and they would know and we will all know your forgiveness and your rule,

  your reign, that you are loving, that you are holy, and that

  you continue to teach us how to have this body control that we're talking about

  when you read his word, he'll paint these pictures in your mind so you

  can see vividly what the Lord is trying to talk to us about Amen.

  And that's the power of God's word. God's word is a living word.

  A man is not a dead word. It's a living word. Amen.

  So we have what we need, man, authentic imentationology. Let's go for

  it. Body control. I'm calling this one. And the scripture is right
• 12:50
  here. First Thessalonians, chapter number four, verses three and five. For
• 12:54
  this is the will of God. And I know a lot of people ask
• 12:56
  this question, saying, what's the will of God for my life? A
• 13:00
  man, it's a good question. Well, this is the one of the
• 13:01
  wills of God for your life. For this is the will of God.
• 13:05
  This is the will of God, your sanctification that you abstain from sexual immorality.
• 13:15
  And I didn't look for the scripture. I didn't look for this God
• 13:18
  gainment. It's literally when I was looking to see what was next for authentic
• 13:24
  immitationology, he literally gets to me. He's a God who knows. He's
• 13:28
  a God who sees. He's a God who's always on time. He's a
• 13:31
  God who prepares us for the battle. He's a God who saves us.
• 13:35
  He's a God who changes us, a God who rescues us, a God
• 13:37
  who loves us, a God who knows who to connect us with when we're
• 13:41
  going through situations in life. Amen. So thank God right now for this
• 13:46
  word right that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know
• 13:52
  how to control his own body and holiness and honor. Now I know people
• 13:58
  are going to say, well, it says his. That means the girls
• 14:00
  are out of it. That doesn't say her, It says his. Listen,
• 14:03
  mankind, Let's not think that this is only for men, even though
• 14:09
  it's in a masculine But we know when God speaks, it's a word for
• 14:13
  men and a word for women. All creation bows to the world of God.

  The all creation. Humans are more in detail. God creates more details
• 14:28
  than anything else on the planet. Think about it. A brain, our
• 14:31
  hearts, the way our blood pumps through our veins, our thought process.
• 14:37
  We have the wills, free will. We have the ability to choose.
• 14:43
  We have an intellect to choose what's right, what's wrong to do this,
• 14:46
  to do that, we have body control, that each one of you know
• 14:52
  how to control his or her own body and holiness and honor. Not in
• 14:58
  the passion of love like the gentiles who do not know God, not like
• 15:03
  the people who don't know God, who don't follow God. We're not supposed
• 15:07
  to be put in those positions. We're not supposed to be moving like that.

  Amen. Scripture is right here. I know it's a little heavy for
• 15:16
  morning Devo. But God gave it to me, and I said, Wow,
• 15:18
  Okay, let's go, Amen, because I know enough now in my
• 15:24
  walk to not say no to the Lord who wants to say something through me
• 15:28
  or for me, or to me or to you. Am I gonna just
• 15:31
  say it, Try to say in love, try to say it with kindness.
• 15:35
  Amen. But sometimes when you read the scriptures, you're like wow.
• 15:39
  Sometimes it's like a slap in the face. You'll be like, man,
• 15:43
  you got to talk to me like that. And God is loving, he's
• 15:45
  kind, he's just, he's holy a man, he's forgiving, he's merciful,
• 15:50
  it's full of grace. So yeah, when we read his words,
• 15:52
  sometimes it's directed directly to us. Sometimes it's something that's coming up. But
• 15:58
  I know for sure that either you're going through something like this, or you've
• 16:03
  been through something like this, or your about to go through something like this,
• 16:07
  and then on the other side you'd be like, ma'am, thank you
• 16:10
  Jesus for getting me out of this situation. Thank you God for giving me
• 16:12
  this word. Thank you Lord for saving me and rescuing me. Thank you
• 16:17
  lordle God that I didn't fall into any kind of these things. For this
• 16:21
  is the will of God. Right. You ever noticed that when people ask
• 16:25
  you that question, what's the will of God for my life? Well,
• 16:26
  there's wills of God for our lives. Amen, It's all throughout the scriptures

  from Genesis all the way to Revelation. Pay attention. Everyone has an individual
• 16:37
  situation going on, but God has it all covered individually corporately. Amen.

  He's not directly into the whole number game that we play right as believers.
• 16:52
  But God is definitely concerned and interested in everybody's situation for sure. So that's
• 16:57
  the body control I'm talking about, or that the Lord is talking about.

  So my question still stands, how can we learn to control our own bodies?

  If it was that easy, God would not have gave us his word.

  If it was that easy, or something that was irrelevant, God would
• 17:14
  not have never have mentioned this. But he wants us. You know what.

  This rap song always comes up in my mind when I look at these
• 17:22
  type of scriptures. Amen. Back in the day, there was a group
• 17:26
  called Black Wound. They were from Brooklyn, New York, one of my
• 17:29
  favorite underground rap groups of all time. Right, and there was a rapper
• 17:34
  named Buckshot Shorty. He goes by the name Buckshot. Now he's not Buckshot
• 17:37
  Shorty anymore. We're all you know, older now, so you know he
• 17:41
  dropped the shorty. And he had a verse that says, the mind controls
• 17:48
  the body. The body thinks the mind is crazy. There's a lot to
• 17:52
  say from there, Man, there's a lot there, Amen, because when
• 17:55
  you when you're moving in holy spirit, God, now we have a new
• 17:59
  mine. Our new mind is telling our body what to do, and the
• 18:02
  body is trying to reject that and trying to say, now you're crazy.
• 18:04
  It's not possible. The mind controls the body. The body thinks the mind
• 18:08
  is crazy. But how many people know we're not crazy. We have a
• 18:11
  sane mind, a sound mind, and a power and authority. We have
• 18:15
  a God who doesn't lie to us, a guy who loves us, a
• 18:18
  God who's not double minded, a God who's not insane, a God who
• 18:22
  is real, a God who is trustworthy, a God that we could go
• 18:25
  to at any single moment. We could go to him with anything that's on
• 18:29
  our heart, a man, anything we're facing, we could go to him.
• 18:33
  Yeah. So, but the mind controls the body. If you have
• 18:36
  the mind of Christ, let your mind control your body. If you don't
• 18:38
  have the body of Christ, be careful the mind of Christ. Be careful,
• 18:42
  because then your old, sinful mind will try to control your body,
• 18:47
  and your flesh should be all about it, and you will feel like it's
• 18:49
  so the right thing to do, because now you're matching an uninspired mind,
• 18:53
  an unchanged mind, a carnal mind, with an unsaved right soul, and
• 18:59
  then your less is all up in there and saying, yeah, let's go
• 19:02
  for it. That's the battle right there. That's for everybody, including me.
• 19:07
  We all have this battle of the flesh and the spirit. But we
• 19:10
  do what the Word says. Amen, will be in a good place.

  I'm not saying in an easy place, but in a good place, in
• 19:17
  a situation where you could grow from, learn from, and keep it moving.

  Roman chapter twelve, verse two. You already know how I feel about
• 19:22
  that scripture. Amen. It's one of my ministry scriptures, one of my
• 19:26
  favorite scriptures. Amen, and this is where I live a lot. Roman
• 19:32
  chapter twelve two is clear that as Christians we are not meant to conform to
• 19:37
  the patterns of this world, very clear in the scriptures. But sadly it
• 19:41
  is becoming more and more difficult to tell a Christian apart from the rest of
• 19:45
  the world, even when considering our own bodies and sexuality. Right, there's
• 19:51
  a differences now going on with definitions between what a man is and what a
• 19:55
  woman is, differences going on with the younger generation and saying I'm not getting
• 20:00
  married, but I'm just gonna live with my partner, right, whether it's
• 20:03
  a same sex partner or head of a sexual partner. So we have all
• 20:07
  these things going on because the world is doing a good job, unfortunately,
• 20:11
  at trying to convince us that, oh, this is normal. You don't
• 20:15
  have to follow the word of God, just follow the trends on the patterns
• 20:17
  of the world. Because the word is irrelevant and the world is relevant.
• 20:22
  That's what people are trying to pass on to our children, pass on to
• 20:26
  the younger generation. But the word still remains the same. When did gender
• 20:30
  change? When did marriage change? When did sexuality change? Who created all
• 20:37
  of that? By the way God created all of that, and people don't
• 20:41
  want to don't want to hear that. What do you mean we can't talk
• 20:44
  about that? It's in God's word. God created sex, he created marriage,
• 20:48
  He created these loving boundaries, these living within the boundarying situation. When
• 20:53
  we live within the boundaries, it's not that God is prohibiting us or taking
• 20:57
  fun away from us. Loved us so much that he's creating boundaries so that
• 21:02
  way we don't pass through those boundaries and hurt ourselves. He wants us to
• 21:04
  have body control. So these days, a lot of churches have abandoned God's
• 21:11
  teachings. I'm gonna say that again, a lot of churches have abandoned God's
• 21:15
  teachings on sexual relationships and have begun. I've begun to accept and even embrace
• 21:22
  sexual and morality. You don't believe me, well, I'm not gonna suggest
• 21:26
  anything for you to watch. But if you don't believe me, you'll hear
• 21:30
  about it. I was gonna say where to go to scratch that? Amen,
• 21:36
  find out for yourself if you think I'm lying. Now they feel free
• 21:41
  to say that anything goes when it comes to this body control. And like
• 21:45
  you could do whatever your body wants to do. And a lot of people
• 21:48
  are hearing those things being preached from the Pulpits thank God is not in my
• 21:52
  church. Hopefully it's not in your church, but there's megachurches out there.
• 21:55
  There's churches of preachers will influenced that are telling you don't worry about it.

  God is a gracious God of forgiving God be careful with that. Now that
• 22:03
  they feel free to say all of that, but we have to know what
• 22:07
  the God say. They're saying, all you're free to do this, that,
• 22:11
  and Third, but what did God say? Very important? We see
• 22:14
  God's design for body control and sex back in the very beginning Genesis chapter one,
• 22:19
  verses twenty seven and twenty eight. We see God created two genders,
• 22:25
  two a man. This is not a mathematical equation that it's trying to confuse
• 22:30
  it. There's only two genders that God showed us right, male and female.
• 22:34
  He gave them sex not only as an expression of love. Listen to
• 22:37
  this, but also for the purpose of reproduction, creating people little people like
• 22:45
  us in our own image. God created us and his image. God created
• 22:49
  them Adam and Eve in his image, and now he gave us the ability
• 22:53
  to create people in our image, Amen, and giving them the opportunity to
• 22:59
  be born again because we're born in a sinful nature a man because of what
• 23:03
  happened in Genesis chapter three. But then Jesus shows up as redeemer a man
• 23:07
  because the fall of man created a need for a redeemer, and that redeemer
• 23:11
  is the Lord Jesus, and it gives us the opportunity to be born again
• 23:15
  when a new mind and new heart. Our desires that got placed in us
• 23:18
  a man are there for a reason, but he wants it to be the
• 23:22
  desires of his heart, not the desires of our old, old, deceitful
• 23:26
  heart. When we have a new heart, when you're born again, you
• 23:30
  no longer have that deceitful heart. If you hear somebody preaching our heart is
• 23:33
  wicked full of all deceit, asks them, are you're talking about before I
• 23:37
  was saved, because you definitely ain't talking about after I'm saved. There's a
• 23:40
  new heart and new mind going on, and that's an all in process,
• 23:44
  right, So as Christians, we can't claim to be ignorant about this whole
• 23:48
  body control issue. We can't play it off like, oh, I've never
• 23:52
  heard that before. It's in the world. A lot of people don't want
• 23:55
  to go to the Word because they know that the truth is there. They
• 23:56
  don't want to go to the Word because they know there's gonna be some confidence.

  I'm not confrontational, but I have to learn how to confront things.

  Amen. A lot of people are like me. I'm not the only one
• 24:06
  that's not non confrontational, Amen. But we have to confront things. Amen.

  A brother of mine was telling me that last night. You know,
• 24:14
  you have to confront some things if you want to get past some things and
• 24:17
  through some things. And that's wise wisdom right there. So as Christians,
• 24:21
  we can't claim to be ignorant about God's will when it comes to mind control
• 24:26
  body control, as today's verse says, we should abstain from sexual morality.
• 24:32
  That's a body control issue. We're controlling on what needs to be controlled,
• 24:37
  and we're not out there running wild. Right. There's temptation. Absolutely,
• 24:41
  no one is immune to temptation. I don't care if you're a pope.
• 24:44
  I don't care if you're a bishop, a pastor, teach, you're a
• 24:45
  prophet, evangelist, I don't care what position you have. You're going to
• 24:51
  be tempted in this world that's broken, You will be tempted and as first
• 24:55
  Commitings chapter ten, verse thirteen, to prove it. Amen. And we
• 25:00
  also have His Holy Spirit, so we're not left alone. We're not like
• 25:03
  caught off guard all the time. Oh, I didn't know this was an
• 25:07
  attack. Yeah, we're going to be attacked daily a men. But we
• 25:10
  have Holy Spirit God that as far as I know, has no losses in
• 25:14
  his record. Holy Spirit always wins. Amen. God always wins conforming us
• 25:19
  into His likeness of Christ. That means the Holy Spirit is at work in
• 25:23
