- 0:03Speaker 1: What's up and welcome. This is the Rogue Recap and
- 0:06Speaker 1: you are here with your host, Linda McLaughlin. She is pissed, off, outraged,
- 0:12Speaker 1: and has zero patients with what seems to be an
- 0:15Speaker 1: epidemic of entitlement and stupidity. Here we talk about all
- 0:19Speaker 1: the things the other shows just don't or won't touch.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Make sure to like and subscribe to her podcast so
- 0:25Speaker 1: you never miss an episode.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Hey, what's up, guys. It's Linda here with the Rogue
- 0:30Speaker 2: Recap and great to talk to you again for starting
- 0:34Speaker 2: something new next week. So we had a little bit
- 0:36Speaker 2: of hiatus due to last week's news on Charlie Kirk.
- 0:40Speaker 2: For those of you who don't know, I did work
- 0:41Speaker 2: with Charlie for a couple of years, one on one
- 0:45Speaker 2: with all of his messaging and digital and you know,
- 0:50Speaker 2: we've been friends in the conservative space for a really
- 0:52Speaker 2: long time, and what happened to him really just threw
- 0:57Speaker 2: me for a loop. Like so many other people, I
- 0:59Speaker 2: don't think I'm alone and feeling that way, and I
- 1:03Speaker 2: just really mourn and grieve for his wife, Erica and
- 1:07Speaker 2: their children, and regardless of what you think of him politically,
- 1:12Speaker 2: it's just beyond the pale to kill a man the
- 1:16Speaker 2: way that he was killed, in front of his wife
- 1:19Speaker 2: and in front of his small children, I don't know
- 1:21Speaker 2: how you come back from that. And I'm just praying
- 1:24Speaker 2: for them. I'm praying that they come out of this
- 1:27Speaker 2: and they find their way to peace. And God bless
- 1:31Speaker 2: his wife. She seems to be doing remarkably well. It's
- 1:34Speaker 2: pretty incredible. But I am astonished at the behavior of
- 1:40Speaker 2: the left. You know, I've been giving in a lot
- 1:43Speaker 2: of thought how people are behaving and how they behaved
- 1:47Speaker 2: when George Floyd died. And while the death of George Floyd,
- 1:52Speaker 2: just like the death of any human being, is tragic,
- 1:55Speaker 2: the idea that we were going to turn cities inside
- 2:00Speaker 2: out for reasons that were contrived and based on preconceived
- 2:06Speaker 2: notions as opposed to what actually occurred the day that
- 2:08Speaker 2: he died, and then saying that he should have murals,
- 2:13Speaker 2: his family should be awarded millions of dollars and we
- 2:17Speaker 2: should you know, remember his name. It's insane, you know. Yeah,
- 2:22Speaker 2: he was in a terrible altercation with a police officer
- 2:27Speaker 2: that resulted from him being involved in a criminal activity.
- 2:33Speaker 2: He wasn't out giving a speech, having open dialogue he
- 2:36Speaker 2: was robbing a store. It's a very different thing. And
- 2:41Speaker 2: while that's uncomfortable to hear, I guess for some folks
- 2:44Speaker 2: that is what happened. So you can remember lots of people,
- 2:49Speaker 2: but you don't have a right to remember them in
- 2:52Speaker 2: the way that suits your narrative. The facts really don't
- 2:55Speaker 2: give a shit about your feelings. I don't know if
- 2:56Speaker 2: you know this. They don't. And this whole life idea
- 3:00Speaker 2: that we can regale somebody who had a rap sheet
- 3:04Speaker 2: longer than a city street and then criticize somebody because
- 3:08Speaker 2: their opinions were different than yours. I mean, nobody screams
- 3:11Speaker 2: were incendiary discussing things like people in Congress like Rashida
- 3:16Speaker 2: Talib and ilhan Omar Aoc. Look at Governor Pritzker. You
- 3:22Speaker 2: know he's a funny fella because he likes to pretend
- 3:24Speaker 2: like nobody has technology and that we all forget. This
- 3:28Speaker 2: is somebody who literally two days ago said I never
- 3:30Speaker 2: called anybody Nazis, and we have montages of him calling
- 3:34Speaker 2: the right Nazis. So you can try to act like
- 3:38Speaker 2: you didn't play a role in what led to what
- 3:40Speaker 2: happened to Charlie Kirk. But when you look everywhere all
- 3:44Speaker 2: the time, and you're constantly telling America that the right
- 3:50Speaker 2: are fascists, that the right are Nazis, that the right
- 3:53Speaker 2: want to kill you and they hate you. It's it's
- 3:57Speaker 2: so fake and it's so sad and also the ultimate
- 4:01Speaker 2: guess light. And that's what this podcast is about. It's
- 4:04Speaker 2: about gaslighting because the left is incredibly good at it.
- 4:08Speaker 2: They are, they're professionals. They should teach courses in it.
- 4:12Speaker 2: We don't need liberal professors, we just need the left.
- 4:14Speaker 2: They're great at it. And what they like to do
- 4:18Speaker 2: is telegraph what they're doing and then accuse you of it.
- 4:21Speaker 2: It's kind of like when you're in a really bad
- 4:23Speaker 2: relationship and your partner's cheating and they're like, you're cheating
- 4:27Speaker 2: on me, and you're like, no, I'm not. Oh, I
- 4:29Speaker 2: get it. You're cheating on me. So you're projecting this
- 4:31Speaker 2: onto me and acting like something's going on that it isn't.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Because you're actually the one doing it, you feel guilty.
- 4:37Speaker 2: And now we see that even with Barack Obama, who
- 4:40Speaker 2: came out today and was saying, you know, while we
- 4:43Speaker 2: don't agree with Charlie Kirk, you know, and what he
- 4:47Speaker 2: said was wrong you know, we can't. What happened to
- 4:51Speaker 2: him was terrible. I'm like, first of all, who were
- 4:53Speaker 2: you to say that anybody's wrong? This is a man
- 4:56Speaker 2: who wrote two books about his life before he did anything.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, what is your life story? It's utterly nonsense.
- 5:05Speaker 2: And I read both of his book, Audacity of Hope
- 5:08Speaker 2: and Dreams of Our Father before he was president. And
- 5:12Speaker 2: that's how I knew that he was psychotic, because I
- 5:15Speaker 2: read those books before he was elected. It used to
- 5:18Speaker 2: drive me nuts when he was running for president, people saying,
- 5:20Speaker 2: I don't know this guy's new man. You know, we
- 5:22Speaker 2: don't know anything about him. I'm like, really, because he
- 5:24Speaker 2: wrote two books about himself. He's talking all about how
- 5:27Speaker 2: he studied under Marxists and he loved socialism, and he
- 5:31Speaker 2: felt like white people oppressed him, and you know, white
- 5:34Speaker 2: people didn't want him walking down the street. And I'm like, bro,
- 5:37Speaker 2: you were raised by your white grandparents. What are you
- 5:40Speaker 2: talking about. You have lived a charmed and privileged life.
- 5:45Speaker 2: You went to the best schools in the country, and
- 5:47Speaker 2: you're telling me you feel like you were oppressed. Sell
- 5:50Speaker 2: that shit to somebody else. I am so over the
- 5:55Speaker 2: I'm held down. I'm held back.
- 5:57Speaker 1: No, you're not.
- 5:58Speaker 2: You have every opportunity in the world. You know why,
- 6:00Speaker 2: because you were born in America. What you do with
- 6:04Speaker 2: your life, the choices you make, what you decide to do,
- 6:08Speaker 2: no matter where you're from, are your own. Now. Granted,
- 6:12Speaker 2: some people have an easier time than others. Some people
- 6:15Speaker 2: have a harder story than others. There's no question that
- 6:18Speaker 2: all of that is accurate. What's not accurate is to
- 6:22Speaker 2: accuse people who have a really great life of being
- 6:27Speaker 2: XYZ person because they don't agree with your ideals. You know,
- 6:31Speaker 2: there's a lot of people on the left that I
- 6:33Speaker 2: don't like. A lot. There's a lot of people on
- 6:36Speaker 2: the left that I wish I don't know, maybe it
- 6:39Speaker 2: didn't make so much noise. Maybe we're quiet, And I'm
- 6:42Speaker 2: sure there's a lot of people on the left that
- 6:44Speaker 2: wish I was quiet and I didn't have a voice
- 6:47Speaker 2: and I couldn't say what I wanted. But lucky for
- 6:49Speaker 2: me and lucky for them, we live here. We can
- 6:52Speaker 2: say whatever we want on x we can say whatever
- 6:54Speaker 2: we want on Instagram. We can have podcast, TV shows,
- 6:58Speaker 2: radio shows, documentaries, you name it. But what we can't
- 7:02Speaker 2: do and what we shouldn't do is bash people who
- 7:07Speaker 2: literally were shot dead in front of their family, friends
- 7:11Speaker 2: and some of their greatest fans and make fun of it.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Say things like, I wish that he, you know, rolls
- 7:20Speaker 2: in his piss and shit for the rest of eternity.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I wish that somebody killed his wife. I wish that
- 7:25Speaker 2: somebody killed his children, or I don't care about any
- 7:29Speaker 2: of them because they're related to him, or oh booho,
- 7:33Speaker 2: Charlie Kirk's dead. Well, who gives a shit because he
- 7:35Speaker 2: was a racist prick. I'm like, we just gave literally
- 7:40Speaker 2: a pass for radical Muslims to come into the United
- 7:45Speaker 2: States and give speeches on college campuses about Palestine. And
- 7:50Speaker 2: you're telling me that Charlie Kirk is the problem. These
- 7:54Speaker 2: people that are speaking in dearborn Michigan, Texas, Minnesota. They're
- 8:00Speaker 2: not out there saying, hey, we're Muslim, but we believe
- 8:02Speaker 2: that everybody has a right to be free. They're saying
- 8:05Speaker 2: things like, hey, we're Muslim, We're coming into your cities,
- 8:07Speaker 2: We're coming into your states. We're gonna rape your women
- 8:09Speaker 2: and children. No Christianity, no Jewish, you can't have beer,
- 8:13Speaker 2: you can't eat pork, don't play your music, We're going
- 8:16Speaker 2: to do the call to prayer five times a day.
- 8:18Speaker 2: What you think that this is normal, that's acceptable, It's not.
- 8:25Speaker 2: It's not acceptable. And the idea that people are allowing
- 8:28Speaker 2: this to happen and voting on it and saying it's
- 8:31Speaker 2: okay to me is shocking. I don't understand at all
- 8:38Speaker 2: what is happening with the American people. Whether you're left
- 8:43Speaker 2: or right, there should be some semblance of understanding American ideals.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Now you want to be mad about Jimmy Kimmel, You
- 8:51Speaker 2: want to say it's the oppression of the left's voice
- 8:54Speaker 2: and all this stuff, Well, good luck with that, because
- 8:57Speaker 2: the right has been dealing with cancel culture for about
- 9:00Speaker 2: ten years. So get in line with your hurt feelings. Honestly,
- 9:05Speaker 2: so many people have been hurt by the left, so
- 9:08Speaker 2: many and not because they were saying in cyndiary things,
- 9:13Speaker 2: not because they were saying things they shouldn't have said,
- 9:15Speaker 2: but because they were expressing opinions that were the opposite
- 9:20Speaker 2: of what the left was saying. That's the big difference.
- 9:24Speaker 2: You want to stand there and say that you are
- 9:27Speaker 2: the victim. You want to stand there and say rosy
- 9:30Speaker 2: O'Donnell while you cry in Ireland that your feelings are hurt,
- 9:35Speaker 2: that this is the end of America, that we've never
- 9:37Speaker 2: seen anything like this. The problem is is that's not true.
- 9:42Speaker 2: That's not what's happening. There is a massive problem and
- 9:47Speaker 2: a complete and utter misunderstanding of the nature of things.
- 9:52Speaker 2: And you don't get a right to suddenly say, oh,
- 9:56Speaker 2: we're so sad about this, you know. Rosy and Barr
- 9:59Speaker 2: made a great point today, and she was reminding Barack Obama,
- 10:04Speaker 2: literally reminding him that. When she was on air, he
- 10:10Speaker 2: and Michelle Obama called over to Iger Bob Iger, who
- 10:15Speaker 2: was running Disney, to say, hey, you should get rid
- 10:18Speaker 2: of her. That's no good. I mean, really think about
- 10:23Speaker 2: that for a minute, how messed up that is. And
- 10:26Speaker 2: then you wonder, you honestly wonder, how it's possible that
- 10:30Speaker 2: they could be this out of touch. You're running ads
- 10:34Speaker 2: all the time saying that we are dangerous to America,
- 10:38Speaker 2: we are dangerous for young people. We are infecting people
- 10:43Speaker 2: with hatred, we are infecting people with our inability to
- 10:47Speaker 2: be tolerant. Are you for real? Does anybody remember when
- 10:53Speaker 2: a young man went down to a pro life march
- 10:57Speaker 2: and got screamed in his face, and they cut the
- 11:00Speaker 2: tape and they edit it and they only played what
- 11:02Speaker 2: they wanted. Remember CNN did that You remember what happened? Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 2: they lost, and they paid that young man a lot
- 11:12Speaker 2: of money, a whole lot of money. These are the
- 11:16Speaker 2: same people that when you didn't get the COVID vaccine,
- 11:20Speaker 2: said that you should die, that you shouldn't be allowed
- 11:23Speaker 2: to live your life, that you shouldn't be allowed to
- 11:26Speaker 2: do anything with the public. Same people. These are the
- 11:31Speaker 2: same people that have conservatives houses swatted. I mean, look
- 11:37Speaker 2: at my friend Joe Pegs. They had twelve cops show
- 11:40Speaker 2: up with AR fifteen's surrounding his house because some scumbag
- 11:44Speaker 2: somewhere called and said that him and his daughter were
- 11:46Speaker 2: being held and they were, you know, under attack, and
- 11:49Speaker 2: the house was being invaded. They were all in bed.
- 11:52Speaker 2: He's got little ones. This stuff is wrong. That's a
- 11:57Speaker 2: bridge too far. That's not free of speech. That's just
- 12:02Speaker 2: you being an asshole and then trying to say, no,
- 12:05Speaker 2: I'm the victim. You're not the victim, you are the problem.
- 12:10Speaker 2: You want to express opinion, that's fine, But people like
- 12:14Speaker 2: Joy Reid and people like Whoope Goldberg and people like
- 12:19Speaker 2: Joy Behar and Anna Navarro and Jimmy Kimmel, all of
- 12:24Speaker 2: these people, Stephen Colbert, There's so many of them. Brian Stelter.
- 12:28Speaker 2: These are terrible people who misappropriate comments and quotes, take
- 12:34Speaker 2: them out of context and create hate. And when they
- 12:38Speaker 2: create that hate in cooperation with the government, the previous government,
- 12:43Speaker 2: Biden's government, we had Christopher Ray at the head of
- 12:46Speaker 2: the FBI. He was targeting people who opposed the twenty
- 12:49Speaker 2: twenty election, who didn't believe in the COVID scam, who
- 12:53Speaker 2: had questions about what was happening, you know, on a
- 12:56Speaker 2: broader scale with I don't know, Epstein, Hunter, Biden's last
- 13:01Speaker 2: all of these things, right, it's a really big deal.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Do we ever get any answers from this guy? And
- 13:07Speaker 2: not the least of which was the fact that they
- 13:08Speaker 2: were attacking Catholics. I'm like, really, we're attacking Catholics? What
- 13:13Speaker 2: is going on? It's such a massive issue to not
- 13:20Speaker 2: be able to be honest about what is happening. It's
- 13:25Speaker 2: an even bigger issue that we have so much misinformation
- 13:30Speaker 2: that the average person, the person that is actually just
- 13:33Speaker 2: reading the news and trying to figure out in their
- 13:36Speaker 2: day to day life, what's next. Can't discern between reality
- 13:42Speaker 2: and what's fake. That's a problem. And you look at
- 13:46Speaker 2: these lists, you look at all of these people, and
- 13:49Speaker 2: you say to yourself, oh yeah, I forgot about that.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I forgot that this person said this, and
- 13:56Speaker 2: then they tried to cancel them. That's the problem, that's
- 14:00Speaker 2: what's really going on. We have to remember, we have
- 14:06Speaker 2: to stay diligent, and we have to be firm and
- 14:10Speaker 2: all of the things that we are doing so that
- 14:13Speaker 2: we can be honestly prepared for the next Siah. I'm
- 14:20Speaker 2: going to give you a brief rundown of just some
- 14:23Speaker 2: of the people that have been canceled or attempted to
- 14:27Speaker 2: be canceled by the left because the left didn't like
- 14:30Speaker 2: what they were saying. The left is getting canceled right
- 14:34Speaker 2: now because they cheered on the assassination of a fellow
- 14:37Speaker 2: American who died at the hands of a transgender lunatic.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Or I guess he's a transgender apologist because his boyfriend
- 14:45Speaker 2: slash girlfriend whatever is transgender. I don't know. I can't
- 14:49Speaker 2: keep up. Let's just take a quick listen to some
- 14:52Speaker 2: of the people. Roseanne bar who I just mentioned, you
- 14:55Speaker 2: was fired by ABC Disney. It was canceled in twenty
- 14:59Speaker 2: eighteen because of hundreds of people lost their cast, their crew.
- 15:03Speaker 2: They all lost their jobs. Gina Carano, who's an actress,
- 15:07Speaker 2: was fired from The Mandalorian in twenty twenty one. Why
- 15:10Speaker 2: because of social media posts They didn't fit the left.
- 15:13Speaker 2: They dropped her, and so did her agency. They dropped
- 15:15Speaker 2: her too. Megan Kelly was fired by NBC in twenty eighteen,
- 15:20Speaker 2: why because of comments about Halloween costumes. Dave Chappelle. Netflix
- 15:27Speaker 2: employees when he had his comedic you Know Special, staged
- 15:32Speaker 2: a walkout because he was talking about They said he
- 15:36Speaker 2: was transphobic, so they tried to cancel him. Joe Rogan
- 15:40Speaker 2: they wanted Spotify to drop him because he was having
- 15:43Speaker 2: open and honest conversations about COVID. Tucker Carlson taken off
- 15:47Speaker 2: in twenty twenty three because liberal activists said they got
- 15:51Speaker 2: him out of his job because of advertiser pressure and
- 15:54Speaker 2: because he lost him in the advertisers Parlor got canceled
- 15:57Speaker 2: because Apple, glul and Amazon wipe their entire platform off
- 16:01Speaker 2: the Internet. JK. Rowling got blacklisted from events. She was
- 16:06Speaker 2: attacked by activists because of the fact that she spoke
- 16:09Speaker 2: out and gave her own opinion. There are so many
- 16:13Speaker 2: people like this and I got to give a hat
- 16:15Speaker 2: tip here to Swampist. That list is from Swampist. Great job.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Really appreciate you getting that out there. There's just so
- 16:23Speaker 2: many instances and I know it's hard to keep track,
- 16:26Speaker 2: but if we don't, we're never going to win the
- 16:30Speaker 2: war because each one of these battles has to be
- 16:33Speaker 2: fought and corrected at that moment. It's like when your
- 16:36Speaker 2: child does something wrong, you have to correct them in
- 16:38Speaker 2: the moment because they're already going to do in the
- 16:41Speaker 2: next dumb thing. So if you don't correct it when
- 16:43Speaker 2: it happens, they're just going to keep doing it. It's
- 16:45Speaker 2: the same thing with the Left. Pretend like you're dealing
- 16:48Speaker 2: with a five year old. You're going to do great.
- 16:50Speaker 2: This is Lynda McLaughlin. You are listening to the Rogue Recap.
