Talbot County Public Schools is launching a new safety measure this fall—weapons detection screenings at key home athletic events—to keep students, families, and the community secure without dampening the spirit of the games. Starting August 21st, all varsity football games at Easton High and varsity soccer games at St. Michaels Middle High will feature screening where attendees walk through detection systems; flagged items may be checked with handheld wands.
