- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game dey View is a production of the NFL
- 0:06Speaker 1: in partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Everybody Wellhome. The Game Deview presented Ony Mercedes Ben's Packer
- 0:15Speaker 2: Claybon back here with Greg Rosendald Cynthia Freeland here to
- 0:18Speaker 2: get you set for the majority of the Week fourteen schedule.
- 0:21Speaker 2: As playoff time is nearing, Greg, we're in that push.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I love this time of year. It's fantasy push. It's
- 0:27Speaker 3: our picks push like we're hot right now. Cynthia's picks
- 0:30Speaker 3: are going wild.
- 0:31Speaker 4: I want that giant red bow. I was just thinking
- 0:34Speaker 4: about that, like from the can we get like a
- 0:36Speaker 4: giant red Mercedes bow, like from the car? Who doesn't
- 0:39Speaker 4: want that?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so fun.
- 0:41Speaker 4: It could go right on this table.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Yep, we'll put it up. In fact, you can send
- 0:46Speaker 2: a car with it because things are going that kind
- 0:49Speaker 2: of way. Cynthia went fourteen in two. I was able
- 0:53Speaker 2: to pick up a game on Greg. As we look
- 0:55Speaker 2: at our standings, I am miird in a giant black
- 0:57Speaker 2: hole of sadness and destitution at one hundred and twenty
- 1:01Speaker 2: eight and sixty seven. But Greg in fifty nine with
- 1:05Speaker 2: Cynthia Nippin at his hill heels. Excuse me, Greg, I'm
- 1:09Speaker 2: on a hill.
- 1:09Speaker 4: He's gonna die on that hill. I'm nipping at that hill.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yeah, on both Greg, the MVP of our picks thus far,
- 1:15Speaker 2: Josh Allen might end up being the MVP of the league.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Buffalo winning seven in a row and Allen is playing
- 1:21Speaker 2: like Superman. Allen and the Red Hot Bills heading to
- 1:25Speaker 2: LA to take on the Rams. Buffalo chasing the top
- 1:27Speaker 2: seed in the AFC, the Rams still in the playoff hunt.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But Cynthia, could this be a letdown game for the Bills?
- 1:34Speaker 4: No, I mean it could be, Absolutely it could be.
- 1:37Speaker 4: But I project a six point win for the Bills
- 1:40Speaker 4: twenty seven to twenty one out here at SOFI Stadium.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Why because matchups make four fights and this one does
- 1:46Speaker 4: not bode well for the Los Angeles Rams. In terms
- 1:50Speaker 4: of what happens when this Bills defense sees motion, The
- 1:53Speaker 4: answer is bad things for posing offenses. And you know
- 1:56Speaker 4: who likes to use motion ahead of the snap? Who's
- 1:58Speaker 4: that the Rams? See how that works. But ultimately, when
- 2:01Speaker 4: you're looking at some of the places of this Bills defense,
- 2:04Speaker 4: which I will admit I was a little bit of
- 2:07Speaker 4: a skeptical person, about this defense ahead of the season.
- 2:10Speaker 4: They have exceeded expectations. They're getting healthier. Greg Russo's awesome.
- 2:15Speaker 4: And when I'm looking at the options here for what
- 2:17Speaker 4: happens when this Rams offense tries to use motion, they
- 2:22Speaker 4: just get shut down.
- 2:23Speaker 5: Ooh, I like that.
- 2:24Speaker 3: And it's one of the reasons they're so good against
- 2:26Speaker 3: motion is because Sean McDermott's been there so long, Like
- 2:28Speaker 3: the system is good, and he's got his guys, and
- 2:30Speaker 3: he's got the guy Matt Milano back in the lineup.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I know he didn't make a lot of splash plays
- 2:36Speaker 3: in his first game back, but he is the quarterback
- 2:39Speaker 3: of this defense. And I don't think McDermott gets enough
- 2:43Speaker 3: credit for maximizing what his players do well. He puts
- 2:47Speaker 3: them in situations to succeed. This is a rematch of
- 2:50Speaker 3: a game just a couple of years ago. Is the
- 2:52Speaker 3: opening game, remember the kickoff of the Rams defending their
- 2:55Speaker 3: Super Bowl title, and that Bill's defense did a great
- 2:58Speaker 3: job holding down preventing big plays. And Matt Milano is
- 3:01Speaker 3: one of the best coverage linebackers in the league, and
- 3:04Speaker 3: that's where the Rams like to win over the middle
- 3:07Speaker 3: of the field.
- 3:07Speaker 5: I think that's the difference.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I think it's close, and I think the Rams cover
- 3:11Speaker 3: because they're at home and the Bills are coming all
- 3:13Speaker 3: the way across the country.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Two good teams, but the Bills win.
- 3:15Speaker 4: I to do a great college that, Matt Malone.
- 3:17Speaker 5: I'm just saying, Boston Girl.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Greg makes a lot of great points, the Bills having
- 3:22Speaker 2: to travel across the country, the Rams keeping it close.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I agree. I think the Rams cover in this one
- 3:27Speaker 2: because I think the Rams win this football game.
- 3:30Speaker 5: I see and.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Yeah, give me a stray bound here as it's just
- 3:34Speaker 2: I wrote it. I wrote it down, Pukainakua. It explains,
- 3:36Speaker 2: it explains the whole situation. This is the reasoning for
- 3:40Speaker 2: me making this pick because the last time the Buffalo
- 3:43Speaker 2: Bills played a real number one that was playing good
- 3:46Speaker 2: football with a healthy quarterback, it was CJ. Stroud throwing
- 3:50Speaker 2: the ball to Nico Collins, who actually hurt himself on
- 3:53Speaker 2: a long touchdown running away from these Buffalo Bills. And
- 3:56Speaker 2: then they go on a stretch where I guess Tyreek
- 3:59Speaker 2: Hill and Jalen one of the best receivers that they played,
- 4:01Speaker 2: where it's it's just different. And so five Stadium, late
- 4:05Speaker 2: in the season with not just Pooking a cool but
- 4:07Speaker 2: Cooper Cup And I think the Rams have a puncher's
- 4:10Speaker 2: chance in this one, and I'm gonna take that chance
- 4:12Speaker 2: and take a loss.
- 4:12Speaker 5: This is a pixel bald.
- 4:14Speaker 3: They move this game all the way up to first
- 4:16Speaker 3: this stray bond, wondering.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Which which is really saying something? For a guy who's
- 4:19Speaker 2: lasting the fix on the shows, we get this is
- 4:23Speaker 2: the old this guy or that guy. Starting with the quarterbacks,
- 4:25Speaker 2: I think which quarterback will have more than one passing touchdown?
- 4:28Speaker 2: Is it Josh Allen and Matthew.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Steph I think it's both. However, I'm going with Josh
- 4:32Speaker 4: Allen here as the higher probability guy. I'm looking at
- 4:36Speaker 4: these deep passes.
- 4:36Speaker 5: Do you know what?
- 4:37Speaker 4: He doesn't have a touchdown on yet a twenty plus
- 4:39Speaker 4: air yard pass, and I think that changes this week.
- 4:42Speaker 4: It's kind of wild because there's twenty six quarterbacks who
- 4:45Speaker 4: have thrown a deep touchdown pass this season. Josh Allen
- 4:48Speaker 4: is not one of them. So it's wild. That is
- 4:51Speaker 4: that is a wild stat. So I'm looking at this
- 4:53Speaker 4: and I think he gets that this week.
- 4:54Speaker 2: All Right, let's go to the running back on the ground,
- 4:56Speaker 2: Greg which running back goes for over sixty seven yards.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Is it James Cook or is it Kyen William.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I love me some James Cook this season because he's
- 5:04Speaker 3: playing behind an offensive line that has an attitude. They
- 5:09Speaker 3: were bragging after last week's game, saying like, we did
- 5:13Speaker 3: whatever we wanted against this forty nine Ers front, and
- 5:16Speaker 3: they just kept calling the same play over and over again.
- 5:18Speaker 3: And I do think that's the weakness of this Rams
- 5:21Speaker 3: defense is at the linebacker level. Even the young guys upfront,
- 5:24Speaker 3: who are great rushing the passer over time over the
- 5:27Speaker 3: course of the game, might struggle to stop James Cook.
- 5:30Speaker 2: All right, Buffalo Bill's chasing the Chiefs for the one
- 5:32Speaker 2: seed in the AFC casey with a big matchup with
- 5:35Speaker 2: the Chargers on Sunday. These teams played earlier this year.
- 5:37Speaker 2: For a quick look back, it's time now for Active
- 5:40Speaker 2: mic presented by the Wells Fargo Active Cash credit card.
- 5:45Speaker 2: How about him the rematch in Arrowhead? Justin Herbert won
- 5:48Speaker 2: six in his career against Patrick Mahomes' defense. Does he
- 5:52Speaker 2: get that elusive second win here? Cynthia, no no no.
- 5:56Speaker 4: I have a three point win for the Chiefs in
- 5:58Speaker 4: this one, twenty four to twenty one. I do want
- 6:00Speaker 4: to point out something that I will be keeping a
- 6:02Speaker 4: huge eye on, and that Isatrick Mahomes getting sacked. For
- 6:05Speaker 4: the past two games, he has tied his career high
- 6:09Speaker 4: in terms of number of sacks in the game five
- 6:11Speaker 4: five far. That's a wild situation. In two games in
- 6:15Speaker 4: a row. The left tackle situation is a problem for them.
- 6:18Speaker 4: They need to figure it out if they want to
- 6:21Speaker 4: go from a team that has a nice playoff situation,
- 6:24Speaker 4: like he said, situation like eight times just now, and
- 6:26Speaker 4: if they want to actually play in that game that
- 6:28Speaker 4: happens in New Orleans, They're going to have to figure
- 6:30Speaker 4: out the left tackle because Patrick Mahomes cannot be under
- 6:33Speaker 4: this type of pressure, especially if they're not a team
- 6:35Speaker 4: that is crushing teams by you know, huge margins one
- 6:39Speaker 4: possession games. They lead the entire league in them. But
- 6:41Speaker 4: if your quarterback is under duress constantly, it increases your
- 6:44Speaker 4: opportunities for turnovers. The whole thing is scary.
- 6:47Speaker 3: So, like Cynthia, I'm gonna say that the Chiefs are
- 6:50Speaker 3: gonna win, and then I'm gonna say something kind of
- 6:52Speaker 3: negative about them and positive about the Chargers. It's eighteen
- 6:55Speaker 3: to seventeen. I have the Chiefs winning this game. I'm like,
- 6:58Speaker 3: Justin Herbert. I think I picked the Chargers every time
- 7:00Speaker 3: they play this Chiefs team, and they're one and six,
- 7:02Speaker 3: so I got to take the Chiefs to win. But Tar,
- 7:04Speaker 3: he's still and this Chargers defense, they're going to keep
- 7:07Speaker 3: the score down. I really like the number to be
- 7:09Speaker 3: under that forty three. So that's key to me. And
- 7:11Speaker 3: I like the Chargers to cover because of this young
- 7:14Speaker 3: kid and the way they're playing defense. That cornerback and
- 7:17Speaker 3: that coverage right there shows such a next level understanding
- 7:21Speaker 3: the match coverage that they do. They really communicate well
- 7:24Speaker 3: between the secondary and the linebacker level. And it's a
- 7:27Speaker 3: young player that was drafted in the fifth round and
- 7:30Speaker 3: he's playing like a defensive Rookie of the Year candidate.
- 7:33Speaker 3: He was Defensive Player of the Week last week after
- 7:35Speaker 3: these interceptions, but he's been great all year. He actually
- 7:38Speaker 3: leads the NFL and EPA per play allowed when he
- 7:41Speaker 3: is in coverage, So forget about where he was drafted.
- 7:44Speaker 3: It's like the rest of this Chargers defense, they're better
- 7:47Speaker 3: than the some of their parts. We know the Chiefs
- 7:49Speaker 3: offense isn't explosive, so it's going to be a low
- 7:51Speaker 3: scoring game in Arrowhead.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Shocking that, you know, a front office that came over
- 7:54Speaker 4: from the Ravens knows how to pick a later round cornerback.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Shocker right there. I don't know about you, but I'm
- 7:59Speaker 4: totally shocked.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And also similarly, they they're a little bit thin at
- 8:02Speaker 2: wide receiver. Up front, there's issues. Because Cynthia was talking
- 8:06Speaker 2: about the problems protecting Patrick Mahomes, it's a similar situation
- 8:10Speaker 2: for these Chargers. In the past couple of weeks were
- 8:13Speaker 2: for the Chiefs. You know, Max Crosby was getting to
- 8:15Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes. The Atlanta Falcons had ten sacks on the
- 8:18Speaker 2: season coming into the game against Herbo and the Chargers.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Now they have fifteen. That's thirty three percent of their
- 8:23Speaker 2: sacks on the season. And then a Ravens defense that
- 8:27Speaker 2: really wasn't able to get a lot of pressure on
- 8:28Speaker 2: the passer got home a ton in that game. In
- 8:31Speaker 2: so far, so, I think it's an opportunity for Spags's
- 8:34Speaker 2: defense to get healthy. And yeah, Greg, I've got exactly
- 8:37Speaker 2: forty three points and a three point Chiefs win. We
- 8:39Speaker 2: were all on the trend of Herbo against KC. Although
- 8:44Speaker 2: Greg has some perturbations.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Well just you know.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Well, also, the Chargers social media is the best in
- 8:49Speaker 4: the entire.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah, don't Doug come hit us?
- 8:53Speaker 3: Welcoming Kirk Cousins back to Minnesota Like I'm on psychedelics.
- 8:57Speaker 5: That's how I feel.
- 8:58Speaker 4: I kind of wish I run psychedelics.
- 9:00Speaker 2: It would be I've finched myself. What is the what
- 9:04Speaker 2: this is real right now? Well, it's real that Kirk
- 9:06Speaker 2: Cousins is taking on the Vikings, his Falcons on a
- 9:09Speaker 2: losing streak. The Vikings was one of the longest streaks
- 9:11Speaker 2: in the league. Right now, what happens in this.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Greg What happens is Kirk Cousins plays a Kirk Cousins games,
- 9:18Speaker 3: which means it's going to be crazy and seeing things
- 9:20Speaker 3: will happen.
- 9:21Speaker 5: And in the end, the Minnesota Vikings win.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Twenty seven to twenty three, so the Falcons cover that number.
- 9:26Speaker 3: But we remember all the Kirk moments back in Minnesota,
- 9:30Speaker 3: and there were a lot of great ones.
- 9:32Speaker 5: There were a lot of.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Bad ones, okay, but what they all had in common
- 9:37Speaker 3: were that they were Kirk Cousins games.
- 9:40Speaker 5: They just feel like they're all the same.
- 9:42Speaker 3: If you can go back to Washington, you can go
- 9:44Speaker 3: to Minnesota and now it's happening in Atlanta.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Now. For a while in Minnesota, they were all ending well.
- 9:51Speaker 3: He was on a streak where he was playing really
- 9:53Speaker 3: well in the fourth quarter. But when I looked at
- 9:55Speaker 3: this game, I did not want to imagine this is
- 9:57Speaker 3: Kirk cousins last NFL start, because I think that's on
- 10:00Speaker 3: the table. If he threw four interceptions in this game,
- 10:02Speaker 3: I think Michael Pennix is coming in and it's over.
- 10:05Speaker 3: That's not gonna happen. He's got to keep men. It's
- 10:07Speaker 3: gonna be back and forth. Insane things will happen, and
- 10:10Speaker 3: it will come down to the fourth quarter and they
- 10:12Speaker 3: will cover that number. But in the end, I just
- 10:14Speaker 3: don't think the Falcons can get it done defensively, but
- 10:17Speaker 3: Kirk will play well enough.
- 10:18Speaker 5: Why are you laughing?
- 10:19Speaker 4: Because my point is about Kirk's interceptions, So it seems
- 10:22Speaker 4: like I'm saying, well.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Career disagree.
- 10:25Speaker 5: That's fine.
- 10:26Speaker 4: No, No, we agree, Which is why I think it's funny,
- 10:29Speaker 4: Because am I basically calling for Michael PENNI'X sure, why not?
- 10:32Speaker 4: I have a Minnesota win twenty six to nineteen. I
- 10:35Speaker 4: want to talk about Kirk Cousins interceptions because they're real.
- 10:38Speaker 4: He's had six of them in their losing streak, and
- 10:41Speaker 4: then before that he had to two game win streak
- 10:43Speaker 4: where he had seven touchdowns zero interceptions. He totally reversed
- 10:46Speaker 4: that trend zero and six. This is a big problem.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Fumbles too, Fumbles.
- 10:51Speaker 4: He has fifteen giveaways this season. He leads the league
- 10:54Speaker 4: in them. So am I calling for Michael Pennitt's No,
- 10:56Speaker 4: that would be Greg Rosenthal, ladies and gentlemen, not me.
- 10:59Speaker 5: I'm saying I'm not calling for it.
- 11:01Speaker 3: I'm recognizing where he's at in his career. Whatever he's
- 11:04Speaker 3: looking into the mirror or something like, it's not working
- 11:08Speaker 3: right now, this torn Achilles recovery.
- 11:10Speaker 5: I'm sorry.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Well, it could be a big spinny chain that's ultimately
- 11:16Speaker 2: going to reveal the future and like show the secrets
- 11:18Speaker 2: of the universe. Maybe you could take a darkness retreat.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I don't know. I've got a Vikings win as well.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Mine's a significantly lower score, nineteen to thirteen, because, like
- 11:27Speaker 2: Cynthia and Greg, I've been watching Kirk Cousins and this
- 11:29Speaker 2: Falcons offense the past few weeks and now in a
- 11:32Speaker 2: game that could potentially wrap it up for Kirk Cousins.
- 11:35Speaker 2: They go up against this Vikings defense that has veterans
- 11:39Speaker 2: that are crafty. It can do so many different things,
- 11:41Speaker 2: and that's all embodied in a man who has over
- 11:44Speaker 2: one hundred snaps as a pass rusher, over one hundred
- 11:47Speaker 2: snaps dropping in the coverage, over one hundred snaps as
- 11:50Speaker 2: a run defender. Yeah, folks, we're looking at Andrew Van
- 11:53Speaker 2: Ginkel highlights, who embodies this defense so much. We saw
- 11:58Speaker 2: Brian Flores step to the post rocking an AVG T shirt.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Defense dominant in this one, and the Minnesota Vikings continue
- 12:07Speaker 2: their win streak, and perhaps we're showing some Michael Pennock
- 12:10Speaker 2: junior highlights. Next week, we are all on the Minnesota
- 12:13Speaker 2: Vikings here. We're gonna keep it in the NFC. The
- 12:16Speaker 2: Seahawks in first place in the West. Last week, they
- 12:19Speaker 2: were down big then Leonard Williams delivered a game changing
- 12:23Speaker 2: thick six. So let's look over after that game the
- 12:28Speaker 2: odds to win the NFC West. The Seahawks in the
- 12:32Speaker 2: leading in the league, in the lead in this as well,
- 12:35Speaker 2: with the Cardinals right behind them, the Rams and the
- 12:37Speaker 2: forty nine ers, who are a long shot at this point,
- 12:40Speaker 2: but it's the Seahawks and Cardinals facing off Sundays. Seattle
- 12:43Speaker 2: shut down Kyler's crew just a couple of weeks ago.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Who comes out on top this time.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Around, Well, the Seahawks do. Of course, we all have
- 12:50Speaker 3: our biases. I can admit that, you know, I would
- 12:53Speaker 3: like the Seahawks to win this game, but I believe
- 12:55Speaker 3: that that number is too big and Seattle covers it
- 12:57Speaker 3: and they win straight up because they blitz well and
- 13:00Speaker 3: Kyler Murray's not handling the blitz well. And that Leonard
- 13:03Speaker 3: Williams interception made me think about this play as well,
- 13:08Speaker 3: Kyler Murray and the pick six. Each week Seattle is
- 13:11Speaker 3: giving us a magical play that Devin Witherspoon play, and
- 13:14Speaker 3: then the pick six on Kyler.
- 13:15Speaker 5: It was the Gino Smith touchdown against forty nine ers.
- 13:18Speaker 3: There's something a little you can't put in the numbers
- 13:20Speaker 3: in the model that the Seahawks have Right now, they're
- 13:23Speaker 3: on a winning streak and these two teams are very
- 13:26Speaker 3: similar to me, where the defenses are starting to outplay
- 13:29Speaker 3: the offenses, but the differences. I think Mike McDonald can
- 13:33Speaker 3: cook up Kyler against the blitz. It's close, but it's
- 13:36Speaker 3: twenty four to twenty three, and it's okay, Cynthia, I
- 13:40Speaker 3: can recognize my biases. Your model doesn't have any biases.
- 13:42Speaker 3: But I'm I'm just a man. I'm a man with
- 13:45Speaker 3: emotions and human feelings.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Well, I don't really have any emotions. I've decided to
- 13:50Speaker 4: not recognize. It took the chip out, it was done.
- 13:54Speaker 4: My score is very similar to Greg's twenty three to
- 13:56Speaker 4: twenty one, A two point one.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Oh you got the Seahawks, Yes, go.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Seattle as well. I do actually have emotions. The model doesn't,
- 14:03Speaker 4: but I do. And when I'm looking at this, I
- 14:05Speaker 4: wonder what DK Metcalf is going to look like. Because
- 14:08Speaker 4: we know Jackson Smith and jig but draws a great matchup.
- 14:11Speaker 4: We've seen a lot of vulnerabilities for this Cardinals defense
- 14:14Speaker 4: to the slot and against short passes. But Dk, I
- 14:17Speaker 4: think this is where we see a massive decay day
- 14:21Speaker 4: because now we're gonna see the Cardinals try to adapt
- 14:23Speaker 4: to stop Jackson Smith and Jigba, who had a big
- 14:26Speaker 4: game against them just a couple of weeks ago. So
- 14:28Speaker 4: then you've still got number fourteen out on the edge.
- 14:30Speaker 4: I think this is gonna be a big difference maker.
- 14:33Speaker 4: I think if I'm looking for a guy to have
- 14:34Speaker 4: a big day, he's one who I think I'm circling
- 14:37Speaker 4: him twice. Yeah, And I'm feeling good about it because emotionally,
- 14:40Speaker 4: I really want to see this happen. I'm I'm very
- 14:43Speaker 4: happy as a.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Creature also in possession of emotions. I will go solo here.
- 14:47Speaker 2: I will take the home team that goes on the
- 14:49Speaker 2: Cardinals by a point twenty three to twenty two, which
- 14:52Speaker 2: I feel I'm very confident that's the exact same inverse
- 14:54Speaker 2: of the score when I picked the Seahawks the one
- 14:56Speaker 2: by when I think these two teams are very, very
- 14:58Speaker 2: similar and it's gonna be a classic. And I think
- 15:01Speaker 2: that we've seen the Seahawks make some huge errors Greg
- 15:03Speaker 2: talk about the big We seen them make some catastrophic
- 15:06Speaker 2: errors where they're losing forty yards this season. But one
- 15:09Speaker 2: thing that has been consistent, it's the Arizona Cardinals generating
- 15:12Speaker 2: pressure from all sorts of different places. I thought they
- 15:15Speaker 2: would have trouble doing so in Seattle a couple weeks ago.
- 15:18Speaker 2: They didn't. Guys like Mac Wilson having career years where
- 15:21Speaker 2: his season high in sacks for a season was three.
- 15:25Speaker 2: He had two last week against the Minnesota Vikings. They
- 15:27Speaker 2: had a fifty eight percent pressure rate last season. I
- 15:31Speaker 2: love this defense, I love the search bar, and I
- 15:32Speaker 2: will take the Arizona car.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I love that you picked them because I've been noticing
- 15:36Speaker 3: some of the comments and Cardinals fans think we disrespect them.
- 15:40Speaker 3: They were mad when we memed them a couple of
- 15:42Speaker 3: weeks ago, and you know what, we were right. You
- 15:43Speaker 3: lost that game. But this time I'm glad that you
- 15:46Speaker 3: took it.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Yeah. I have an affectionate nickname for them. Everything's great.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Shout out to the Arizona Cardinals. Let's do some math, though,
- 15:52Speaker 2: Cynthia Well, Gino Smith throw for more or less than
- 15:55Speaker 2: two hundred and fifty five yards in the football time.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Oh, I'm giving you more.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Number one.
- 16:00Speaker 4: This team is the one that has the longest yards
- 16:03Speaker 4: to go on third down. That is why you're seeing
- 16:05Speaker 4: some of those pressures. So I think what they try
- 16:07Speaker 4: to do is on earlier downs they say, well, if
- 16:09Speaker 4: the run isn't gonna work, let's just throw it a
- 16:11Speaker 4: little bit more here. So I actually have Gino Smith
- 16:13Speaker 4: with something like two hundred and seventy five yards, which
- 16:16Speaker 4: for me, you know, I'm a conservative modeler. That means
- 16:18Speaker 4: that's like a significant difference from two hundred and fifty five.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Well, now that I know that, I feel that great
- 16:24Speaker 2: about my pick, that's a big number for Genoa. I'm
- 16:27Speaker 2: because the defense coming up. Folks have got a huge
- 16:29Speaker 2: rematch between the Steelers and Brown's ross has been cooking.
- 16:32Speaker 2: But you know famous Jamus my House tricks up the sleeve. Well,
- 16:36Speaker 2: the quarterback who instantly makes memes shock the Steelers for
- 16:39Speaker 2: the second time this season. Find out next on game debut,
- 16:43Speaker 2: It's time to Seize the Season, presented by Caesars Sportsbook
- 16:47Speaker 2: First Touchdown Score, Odds on the Way, Najie Harrison, George Pickens,
- 16:51Speaker 2: and Nick Chubb at the top, Jaalen Warner and Jerry
- 16:54Speaker 2: Judy rounding out that top five. As we get into
- 16:57Speaker 2: this matchup in the division, we saw it a couple
- 16:59Speaker 2: of weeks ago in the snow. Will Jameis Winston go
- 17:02Speaker 2: into Pittsburgh beat the Steelers for the second time in
- 17:05Speaker 2: three weeks something?
- 17:06Speaker 5: Nope?
- 17:06Speaker 4: I mean he could, but I have twenty five to
- 17:09Speaker 4: twenty in this matchup. This game actually has a lot
- 17:11Speaker 4: of implications because the Pittsburgh Steelers schedule gets very difficult
- 17:14Speaker 4: from here on out, so they need this one. When
- 17:17Speaker 4: I'm looking at this matchup, though, it is all about
- 17:19Speaker 4: Jamis throwing past the sticks, which is something he does
- 17:22Speaker 4: the second most often in the league. This is a
- 17:24Speaker 4: sampling of what happens. Sometimes it's not good and it
- 17:28Speaker 4: results in a turnover.
- 17:29Speaker 5: This has been a.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Characteristic that he's had for quite some time, like his
- 17:33Speaker 4: whole career. But sometimes it goes really really well. So
- 17:37Speaker 4: the deep passes connect, but so to do the ones
- 17:40Speaker 4: that result in pick six. So when you're looking at
- 17:42Speaker 4: the sampling, I mean it is no stretch. Last week
- 17:44Speaker 4: on the broadcast, they were saying we've got the full
- 17:46Speaker 4: Jameis Winston experience here, but really it's those past the
- 17:49Speaker 4: sticks throws and putting them there are higher probability throws
- 17:53Speaker 4: for him to be picked off, just because the further
- 17:55Speaker 4: you throw, the less accurate it becomes. But ultimately that
- 17:59Speaker 4: is what will be the difference maker in this matchup.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I love the Steelers in this game. I don't
- 18:04Speaker 3: think it's gonna be close. I have them winning by
- 18:06Speaker 3: thirteen thirty to seventeen, so way over that number because
- 18:11Speaker 3: the Avengers are being reformed here with Pittsburgh.
- 18:13Speaker 5: That's their pass rush.
- 18:15Speaker 3: You get Alex Heismith back, and suddenly this group is
- 18:19Speaker 3: just one of the best pass rush groups I've ever seen.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Alex Heismith is a top twenty pass rusher in the
- 18:25Speaker 3: NFL by the numbers. Nick Herbig actually has been a
- 18:28Speaker 3: better pass rusher than TJ. Watt this year, who's a
- 18:30Speaker 3: Defensive Player of the Year candidate. Herbig is so good.
- 18:33Speaker 3: And oh, by the way, you have Hayward in the middle,
- 18:36Speaker 3: reckon shop. So it's an offense in Cleveland that can't
- 18:39Speaker 3: run the ball right now, they're gonna have to be
- 18:41Speaker 3: so pass reliant that I think the negative plays are
- 18:44Speaker 3: gonna come, whether it's the sacks or the turnovers. The
- 18:47Speaker 3: Steelers just lost this game. It's a good coach where
- 18:50Speaker 3: you play twice in three weeks. I think Mike Tomlin
- 18:54Speaker 3: gets some revenge here. And look, it's too early for
- 18:56Speaker 3: write this down, but write this one down. The Steelers
- 18:59Speaker 3: are covering this seven points.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I love you. You just stopped the Steelers fan in
- 19:02Speaker 2: their tracks where you were, like the numbers say, there's
- 19:04Speaker 2: a better rusher than DJ Watt, It's like, oh, it's
- 19:07Speaker 2: her big It's like, oh, I don't know how to
- 19:09Speaker 2: feel now. I think the difference in this game is
- 19:12Speaker 2: what Cynthia talked about. One team is going to throw
- 19:14Speaker 2: the ball because they have to the other team gets
- 19:17Speaker 2: to throw the ball in the situation that puts Jamis
- 19:20Speaker 2: and the Browns offense in so much trouble. It's a
- 19:22Speaker 2: beneficiary for the Steelers as Najie Harris in the run game.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Haven't count on a Najie Harris season. It's around four
- 19:29Speaker 2: yards of carry, but his yards for reception up over
- 19:32Speaker 2: two yards for his career. Because Russell Wilson gives this
- 19:35Speaker 2: offense something it hasn't had in a long time, and
- 19:38Speaker 2: that is space that they're number of their top fifteen offense.
- 19:42Speaker 2: You have to go all the way back to one
- 19:44Speaker 2: of those Roethlisberger seasons and not one of the last
- 19:46Speaker 2: two for the last time that they did that. It's
- 19:49Speaker 2: been a while since they've had this amount of success
- 19:51Speaker 2: on offense in Pittsburgh. I think, as well as Greg
- 19:53Speaker 2: and Cynthia, it's another Pittsburgh Steelers win. Let's take a
- 19:58Speaker 2: look at the highest over unders for Week fourteen, according
- 20:00Speaker 2: to the Deer Folks at Caesars Sports Fop Bengals Cowboys
- 20:04Speaker 2: at forty nine and a half. Bill's Rams also with
- 20:07Speaker 2: the same number paying thirds at the Eagles, phil They
- 20:10Speaker 2: think a lot of that is Philadelphia forty six. As
- 20:13Speaker 2: we get into quick picks here on game debut. Speaking
- 20:15Speaker 2: of that Bengals Cowboys game scoring off Monday night in Dallas,
- 20:19Speaker 2: what do you think takes place, Cynthia, Well, we.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Saw Jamar Chase on the injury report late in the week,
- 20:23Speaker 4: but we're gonna look at him right now because just
- 20:25Speaker 4: in case he doesn't play, I want to remind you
- 20:27Speaker 4: that this passing offense is the difference maker when it
- 20:29Speaker 4: looks when it comes down to Joe Brow and his
- 20:32Speaker 4: top pass catcher as in Uno. When he's on the field,
- 20:34Speaker 4: his parents call it Uno time. So just so you know,
- 20:37Speaker 4: you can be part of the Chase family and say
- 20:38Speaker 4: uh no time. Every time it is the offense for
- 20:41Speaker 4: the Bengals. It is just a terrible matchup for this
- 20:45Speaker 4: Cowboys defense. Joe Burrow hasn't been under pressure, Jamar Chase
- 20:48Speaker 4: been getting opened. The man wants to earn his money.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Pay him. I mean, maybe don't, because then the longer
- 20:54Speaker 4: I guess the longer you wait, the higher than Mike,
- 20:56Speaker 4: the price goes so okay, then don't pay him. It's
- 20:59Speaker 4: up to you.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Yeah, number goes up every single day, especially with the
- 21:02Speaker 2: success that he's had the Raiders and the BUF in Tampa,
- 21:04Speaker 2: Las Vegas, al those knocked off the Chiefs on Black Friday?
- 21:07Speaker 2: Do they spoil the Bucks attempt to catch the Falcons?
- 21:10Speaker 3: Gret they make them sweat a little bit, but the
- 21:12Speaker 3: Bucks win. They just don't cover the number twenty six
- 21:16Speaker 3: to twenty one. That Raiders offense has been better lately.
- 21:18Speaker 3: And Baker Mayfield just when I'm in I'm believing in you,
- 21:23Speaker 3: like maybe not as an MVP candidate like Patrick wants
- 21:26Speaker 3: to throw out there, he just starts me making crazy plays. Now,
- 21:31Speaker 3: give Baker Mayfield credit for playing his best at the
- 21:34Speaker 3: end of that Panthers game, but if you watch the
- 21:36Speaker 3: first three quarters of that game, he was the big
- 21:38Speaker 3: part of the reason they were trailing. A lot of
- 21:40Speaker 3: bad decisions, just kind of going like creation Baker mode,
- 21:44Speaker 3: and it wasn't going well. Some inaccurate passes, some mistakes.
- 21:48Speaker 3: He got banged up unfortunately in the middle of that game.
- 21:50Speaker 3: And so I just want to see the week to
- 21:53Speaker 3: week consistency out of Baker Mayfield. This should be a
- 21:55Speaker 3: matchup where they have too many weapons on offense between
- 21:59Speaker 3: the running game and Mike Evans being back that they get.
- 22:01Speaker 2: It done all right, and based on our picks, they
- 22:03Speaker 2: would leap frog the Falcons. Let's go to the Jets
- 22:05Speaker 2: and Dolphins, both mathematically still in the wildcard race somehow,
- 22:09Speaker 2: but in the race for my belief, who wins this game?
- 22:11Speaker 2: I've got the Fins twenty one to seventeen. Maybe John
- 22:15Speaker 2: Smith gets his own Netflix documentary. His explosion has opened
- 22:18Speaker 2: things up.
- 22:18Speaker 5: Yes.
- 22:19Speaker 2: For Jalen Waddle last couple of weeks, He's had thirteen targets,
- 22:22Speaker 2: caught twelve of them for one hundred and ninety seven yards,
- 22:25Speaker 2: and against the Packers had an average separation of four
- 22:27Speaker 2: point eight yards. Problem for the Finns is struggling against
- 22:30Speaker 2: good teams. Not an issue this week as we all
- 22:34Speaker 2: have the Miami Dolphins. We've got more show on the
- 22:36Speaker 2: way here. Because some awards are complicated, you have to
- 22:39Speaker 2: count for storylines and personal politics. It's MESSI what about
- 22:43Speaker 2: the odds for the most passing touchdowns to finish the season.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Joe Burrow leaned the way at negative three point fifty
- 22:51Speaker 2: because he's got thirty passing touchdowns Lamar Baker, Mayfield, Sam Darnold,
- 22:56Speaker 2: Josh Allen rounding it out, it's kind of right in
- 22:59Speaker 2: line with the number of past touchdowns they currently have.
- 23:01Speaker 2: So Greg, five weeks left are gonna I'm gonna put
- 23:04Speaker 2: it on you to not be chalky here. Who's going
- 23:07Speaker 2: to finish the regular season with the most touchs?
- 23:08Speaker 5: Well, I'm not chocking.
- 23:09Speaker 3: I mean, you can be a basic bro and takes
- 23:12Speaker 3: so Brady, I mean Joe Burrow rather is like negative
- 23:15Speaker 3: three p fifty. What's the fun in that? Let's go
- 23:17Speaker 3: Lamar Jackson plus two hundred. His mom got on him
- 23:21Speaker 3: for not running enough. But there's a reason why he's
- 23:24Speaker 3: so high in the passing touchdowns. He is dealing from
- 23:27Speaker 3: the pocket, That's how he wants to play.
- 23:29Speaker 5: And he's got more weapons than ever.
- 23:31Speaker 3: He is in the mix to try to get this
- 23:34Speaker 3: number one seed division title, and he's got more weapons
- 23:37Speaker 3: than he's ever had, even without Deontay Johnson.
- 23:39Speaker 5: You know, when he comes back from the suspension.
- 23:41Speaker 3: One thing to think about here too, is there an
- 23:44Speaker 3: outside chance Joe Burrow could sit down the last week
- 23:47Speaker 3: of the season, or there's some minor injury that comes
- 23:50Speaker 3: up that they just don't want to play him and
- 23:51Speaker 3: risk it. We know Lamar Jackson's going to be out
- 23:53Speaker 3: there because they're going to be gunning for that seed
- 23:55Speaker 3: he gets the title.
- 23:56Speaker 2: And maybe many Mom's trying to work some defenses as well.
- 23:59Speaker 2: She wants them to change the way that they're doing things.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Who knows. Let's take a look at some rushing odds
- 24:04Speaker 2: as the most rushing touchdowns to finish the season. Up. Yeah,
- 24:08Speaker 2: Derek Henry's currently leading the way, leading the way in
- 24:10Speaker 2: the odds. Right behind him the cornerback Jalen Hurts and
- 24:13Speaker 2: then his teammate Saquon Barkley. So either way, Oddsmaker cy
- 24:17Speaker 2: touchdowns scored in Philadelphia, Cynthia, who do you think ends
- 24:21Speaker 2: the season with the most rushing scores?
- 24:23Speaker 4: You're gonna give me Saquon Barkley at the third shortest odds.
- 24:27Speaker 4: I'm gonna take it. Why because I think they want
- 24:30Speaker 4: him to be the MVP as well this campaign. This
- 24:32Speaker 4: week against the Carolina Panthers, he could have two rushing touchdowns,
- 24:36Speaker 4: easy peasy right there and get right up into the
- 24:38Speaker 4: lead with Derek Henry point being. If you're going to
- 24:41Speaker 4: give me that kind of value and that kind of
- 24:43Speaker 4: potential return on investment, I think you should run away
- 24:46Speaker 4: with it, just like Saquon Barkley runs away with that football.
- 24:50Speaker 2: All right, let's flip things over to the past catchers.
- 24:53Speaker 2: As we look at the odds for the most receiving
- 24:56Speaker 2: yards at the yards no Buccaneers on this list, Mark
- 25:00Speaker 2: Chase leading the way at forty two yard. He's currently
- 25:05Speaker 2: leading right behind him his college teammate Justin Jefferson. So, Greg,
- 25:09Speaker 2: we got two former Tigers leading the league and receiving
- 25:12Speaker 2: ones currently playing for a team that has a Tiger
- 25:14Speaker 2: mascot who finishes the year with the crowd.
- 25:16Speaker 3: I'm going Justin Jefferson once again? Do you want to
- 25:19Speaker 3: be basic? It's minus three hundred for Chase, Like, what
- 25:23Speaker 3: kind of return is that?
- 25:24Speaker 5: It's not fun? He's down one hundred yards.
- 25:27Speaker 3: If I'm just choosing who's the best football player, not
- 25:30Speaker 3: even just the best receiver in the NFL, I think
- 25:33Speaker 3: Justin Jefferson is still my pick.
- 25:35Speaker 5: I think the cream rise in the top.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Not that Jamar Chase isn't fantastic, of course he is,
- 25:39Speaker 3: but with those odds, he all he needs is a
- 25:42Speaker 3: two twenty type of day, and I think he can
- 25:44Speaker 3: do that in one of these games down the stretch.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Then he's tied with Jamar Chase. He's got Sam Darnold
- 25:48Speaker 3: throwing it to him down the stretch. And yes, Joe
- 25:51Speaker 3: Burrow and Jamar Chase has made a lot of magic.
- 25:53Speaker 3: But I could see the Vikings trailing a little more
- 25:55Speaker 3: often down the stretch and you got some justin Jefferson.
- 25:58Speaker 3: I just believe in this guy as one of the
- 26:00Speaker 3: best players I've ever seen.
- 26:01Speaker 5: He gets it done.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Okay, But here's my question. What if they really want
- 26:05Speaker 4: Joe Burrow to be the comeback player of the year
- 26:07Speaker 4: so they don't sit him down, and that means that
- 26:09Speaker 4: they need you March. I'm just saying, I'm just playing
- 26:11Speaker 4: Devil's advocate.
- 26:11Speaker 3: It's not a thing like you try to get Saquon
- 26:14Speaker 3: Barkley touchdowns, for sure, but no one's in the locker
- 26:16Speaker 3: room like, let's go get the comeback player of the year.
- 26:18Speaker 2: No.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Yeah, for saying, come on, you never know.
- 26:21Speaker 2: It's like, what is even if you try to win it,
- 26:24Speaker 2: then you have to like befall something misfortune. It's like
- 26:27Speaker 2: it's not worth it. Let's move on to a thing
- 26:29Speaker 2: that Cynthia doesn't want to say, but I'll say it
- 26:31Speaker 2: the Super Bowl. This is the odds for winning Super
- 26:34Speaker 2: Bowl fifty nine in terms of the division, with the
- 26:38Speaker 2: NFC North leading the way, AFC West and NFC East
- 26:41Speaker 2: at the top. So I'll ask both of you which
- 26:44Speaker 2: division do you think the winner of Super Bowl fifty
- 26:47Speaker 2: nine comes from? You are not obligated to say the
- 26:50Speaker 2: name of the games.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I recognize that the shortest odds in this
- 26:55Speaker 4: are for a division that could give three potential playoff teams,
- 26:58Speaker 4: which is the North. But I'm not going there because
- 27:00Speaker 4: I don't like boring odds. I like high returns on investment.
- 27:03Speaker 4: I bought bitcoin. These guys were making fun of me,
- 27:05Speaker 4: but I did it a long time ago at like
- 27:07Speaker 4: seventeen thousand, so you guys can I'll laugh all the
- 27:09Speaker 4: way to the bank. But ultimately I'm at the NFC
- 27:12Speaker 4: East in this matchup. I told you I liked the
- 27:15Speaker 4: Eagles ahead of the season to actually win the division.
- 27:18Speaker 4: So if I'm looking at odds here and returns on
- 27:20Speaker 4: investment for twenty five, that's looking pretty tasty for me,
- 27:24Speaker 4: especially with the fact that you look at their schedule,
- 27:27Speaker 4: four more home games for this at.
- 27:29Speaker 3: What costs though a broken heart of Cynthia Friedland.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Listen, I'm hedging. My emotions would be happy either way here.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Either I win with my investment or I win with
- 27:40Speaker 4: my heart, except for if it's the Vikings or anyone
- 27:42Speaker 4: else that's a green team, in which case, boo boo
- 27:46Speaker 4: to that.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going with the AFC East, and I am
- 27:50Speaker 3: going with my heart.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Yeah, that's very hard.
- 27:51Speaker 3: The season started, I had the Bills over the Lions
- 27:56Speaker 3: in the Super Bowl, and my Bills pick is looking fantastic.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Let's go AFC East. I like how long those odds are,
- 28:01Speaker 3: it's plus four to seventy five. I know we got
- 28:03Speaker 3: no other help in the AFC East. Jets and Patriots
- 28:06Speaker 3: long gone. It's not happening with the Dolphins. But this
- 28:09Speaker 3: Bills team have been knocking on the door year after
- 28:11Speaker 3: year after year. I do not think it's the chief season.
- 28:14Speaker 3: I think this is the toughest Bills team in terms
- 28:16Speaker 3: of their offensive line that they've ever had, and I
- 28:18Speaker 3: think they're gonna make it all the way there.
- 28:20Speaker 5: Now. That said, when they put up that board in
- 28:22Speaker 5: the AFC North was plus six hundred.
- 28:25Speaker 3: You're getting multiple teams there too, that got a shot
- 28:27Speaker 3: I think to make it in the Steelers, in the Ravens,
- 28:29Speaker 3: and that's.
- 28:29Speaker 4: A little changing your mind.
- 28:31Speaker 2: No, I'm not.
- 28:32Speaker 3: I like the AFC East the most, but I'm just
- 28:34Speaker 3: saying the longest odds on that board were maybe my
- 28:36Speaker 3: second favorite AFC North because I don't think the Chiefs
- 28:39Speaker 3: are making it.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fun. If we're talking heart my team's in there.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Cynthia was saying we made fun of her for crypto investments,
- 28:46Speaker 2: you know, questionable there. She's perhaps fearing a rug pull,
- 28:49Speaker 2: which is why she did not select the NFC North.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Because you won't even say the name of the game
- 28:54Speaker 2: it's gonna be played in the world. We're mole Superbowl. Hey, folks,
- 28:58Speaker 2: coming up, we got a new head coach, Cale Williams.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Does well, the Bears get a new result. After the break,
- 29:04Speaker 2: we're diving into Chicago and San Francisco now or never
- 29:08Speaker 2: for the Niners. Who's gonna win? We'll try to tell
- 29:10Speaker 2: you coming up next. Yeah, sorry, Bears fans, they haven't
- 29:17Speaker 2: seen that. Pat who was fired shortly after that, spoke
- 29:20Speaker 2: twice in between on Thanksgiving Day, they're taking the forty
- 29:24Speaker 2: nine ers on Sunday. San Francisco put CMC and Jordan
- 29:28Speaker 2: Mason on IR this week, Cynthia who wins the football game?
- 29:31Speaker 4: The Chicago Bears win the football game twenty three to
- 29:34Speaker 4: twenty two. It feels like bad news all around for that,
- 29:37Speaker 4: except it is good news for Caleb Williams. We have
- 29:40Speaker 4: seen a dramatic uptick and a couple of really notable
- 29:43Speaker 4: things for him, one being how he's faring against the Blitz.
- 29:46Speaker 4: He's doing better. These passes, they look a lot better. Sure,
- 29:49Speaker 4: we've seen Dj Moore use behind, you know, going behind
- 29:53Speaker 4: the line of scrimmage, so potentially needing yak to complete passes.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Who cares, it's still working. It's giving them the opportunity
- 30:00Speaker 4: to win. He's had the two best games of his career, obviously,
- 30:03Speaker 4: it's a young career in the past few games, and
- 30:06Speaker 4: I just think that this is an opportunity to take
- 30:08Speaker 4: advantage of the San Francisco forty nine ers, who are
- 30:10Speaker 4: kind of reeling from so many injuries and just so
- 30:13Speaker 4: much misfortune this season.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Yeah, if you stack those second halfs on top of
- 30:17Speaker 2: each other. Gaile Bows has had an amazing game as
- 30:20Speaker 2: long as you can add them together. I thought for
- 30:22Speaker 2: sure I was going to be alone on this one.
- 30:23Speaker 2: I have the Chicago Bears as well by one point,
- 30:27Speaker 2: and looking at Keenan Allen the past three weeks has
- 30:31Speaker 2: been incredible. It's like the Keenan Allen that we've seen
- 30:35Speaker 2: for his entire career, thirty one targets at over ten
- 30:38Speaker 2: yards a catch with just so many losses on this
- 30:42Speaker 2: forty nine Ers team where it's Brot Perdy and George
- 30:46Speaker 2: Kittle have got to carry the team on their back.
- 30:49Speaker 2: The defense has fallen off, not seeing the type of
- 30:52Speaker 2: explosion and disruption from Bosa as well, and poor Fred
- 30:57Speaker 2: is just back there having to try to make all
- 30:58Speaker 2: the plays, which has been a theme as the season goes. Yeah,
- 31:02Speaker 2: it's a lot wrong, Greg, How could anybody pick the
- 31:05Speaker 2: forty nine?
- 31:06Speaker 3: Well, oh, there's a lot going on in this game.
- 31:08Speaker 3: First of all, we got the fired coach principal, right,
- 31:11Speaker 3: you know, you get the bump when you fire the coach,
- 31:13Speaker 3: And that's why I have the Bears covering Like you guys.
- 31:15Speaker 5: It made a lot of good reasons and arguments.
- 31:17Speaker 3: But then you also got the feeling of when you
- 31:19Speaker 3: find out your co hosts picked a four point underdog
- 31:22Speaker 3: on the road.
- 31:23Speaker 5: You just can't go mean, you.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Got to go just Greg, You got to take that favorite.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Sometimes you got to just play the game. And I
- 31:30Speaker 3: do believe in the vibes in San Francisco being as
- 31:33Speaker 3: down horrendously as any vibes in the country.
- 31:37Speaker 5: Look, Kyle Shanahan's not happy.
- 31:38Speaker 3: He's gripping that play sheet real type. Remember remember a
- 31:43Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago in that Green Bay game and
- 31:45Speaker 3: they had a couple of twelve men on the field penalty.
- 31:47Speaker 3: This was the moment where I actually believed that maybe
- 31:51Speaker 3: the season was over for them because he was.
- 31:53Speaker 5: So furious in that moment.
- 31:56Speaker 3: And yet I think about all the competing vibes in
- 32:00Speaker 3: what's going on here, and this is where.
- 32:01Speaker 5: He really loses it.
- 32:04Speaker 3: The Chicago Bears will find a way even to lose
- 32:07Speaker 3: to this man. I mean, that has given me nightmares
- 32:10Speaker 3: the last couple of weeks, Like this is how the
- 32:12Speaker 3: Bears play. So they cover fired coach principle, but they
- 32:15Speaker 3: don't find a way to win.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Okay, So the fired coach principal, which has carried several
- 32:19Speaker 2: teams this season. Greg no longer a believer in you.
- 32:22Speaker 2: He's got the forty nine ers on it, just Greg,
- 32:25Speaker 2: Let's get some more quick picks here on game debut.
- 32:27Speaker 2: The Panthers and Eagles, Bryce Young and Carolina have been
- 32:29Speaker 2: feisty lately. Can they pull off a shocker? Good?
- 32:32Speaker 5: They can pull off covering again? Twenty seven to nineteen.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I think it's a little closer than that number would
- 32:37Speaker 3: indicate because Bryce Young is playing well. You look at
- 32:39Speaker 3: the score nineteen, you say, well, that's not a lot.
- 32:42Speaker 3: The Ravens didn't have that much until the deep parts
- 32:45Speaker 3: of garbage time last week. I think the Panthers can
- 32:48Speaker 3: hang in this game. This story for Bryce Young has
- 32:50Speaker 3: gone from this is a nice story. He's playing better.
- 32:54Speaker 3: He's gonna have an NFL career too. This guy's playing awesome.
- 32:58Speaker 3: He's playing with a lot of anticipation, making really good decisions.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I actually think he's the type of quarterback that can
- 33:04Speaker 3: excel against a Vic Fangio defense, which asks you to
- 33:07Speaker 3: be very patient. So I see a lot of long
- 33:09Speaker 3: drives from both these teams and a closer score than
- 33:12Speaker 3: the number would indicate.
- 33:13Speaker 5: Let's go Bryce Young a little letdown.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Game two by the wa Yah, I've been fun to
- 33:18Speaker 2: watch the Saints and the Giants at MetLife Drew Locke
- 33:21Speaker 2: starting again for the g Man. What do you see
- 33:23Speaker 2: going on, Cynthia.
- 33:24Speaker 4: Well, I see the Saints winning twenty three to nineteen.
- 33:27Speaker 4: No Taysom Hill obviously, and the fact that the Giants
- 33:30Speaker 4: are the only team in the NFC that have been
- 33:32Speaker 4: mathematically eliminated from the postseason. I think they're playing with
- 33:35Speaker 4: kind of house money, so making it a nice just
- 33:39Speaker 4: just a four point win, I think that'll keep things
- 33:41Speaker 4: a little bit more interesting. But I want to talk
- 33:43Speaker 4: about Alvin Kamara right now. He has sixty rushing touchdowns
- 33:46Speaker 4: and twenty four receiving. If he gets one more, he
- 33:49Speaker 4: joins a club that only four other guys are in
- 33:51Speaker 4: to have more than fifty rushing touchdowns and twenty five
- 33:54Speaker 4: or wow receiving touchdowns. So there's something fun we can
- 33:57Speaker 4: all cheer four in this matchup.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Also top five in the NFL right now in yards
- 34:02Speaker 3: from scrimmage. I don't think people other than his fantasy
- 34:05Speaker 3: owners and Saints fans realize that he is having that
- 34:08Speaker 3: kind of season, one of the best running backs in
- 34:10Speaker 3: the NFL, and he didn't have to change teams because
- 34:13Speaker 3: his team give the Saints some credit valued him and
- 34:15Speaker 3: gave him a nice contract during this season.
- 34:17Speaker 2: And really the embodiment of this franchim. They loved him
- 34:21Speaker 2: down in New Orleans and we love Alva Kamara as well.
- 34:25Speaker 4: Guy, I want him to join the club.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Yeah, get in the club. In fact, get in the club.
- 34:28Speaker 2: There's another club in Kanton, Ohio. I think he could
- 34:30Speaker 2: go to coming up in a few years. Last one,
- 34:32Speaker 2: Jags and Titans in Nashville, Mac Jones versus Will Lennis.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Someone has to win, well, maybe not. I like tennesseee
- 34:40Speaker 2: in this one, though narrowly winning it seventeen to sixteen,
- 34:44Speaker 2: because I think Tony Pollard gets things back going after
- 34:47Speaker 2: a slow performance for him and his standards that he
- 34:50Speaker 2: set up this season. Against Washington, Tony Pollard has faced
- 34:53Speaker 2: the most loaded boxes in the NFL on a per
- 34:57Speaker 2: carry basis. They have to considering the way things have
- 35:00Speaker 2: gone in Nashville for the Titans this season, Tony Pollard
- 35:03Speaker 2: is the thing have to stop but outside on the outside,
- 35:07Speaker 2: on outside tackle runs. He's one of the best. So
- 35:09Speaker 2: let's get him out there against the Jags, who I
- 35:12Speaker 2: thought were gonna have a strong performance against the Houston
- 35:14Speaker 2: Texans in that offensive line a week ago, they did not.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Let's get some balance from the Titans, who get a
- 35:20Speaker 2: win against the Jags. Sunday at nine am Eastern. Rich Eisen,
- 35:24Speaker 2: Kurt Warner, Coach Mariucci, Cynthia Freelan, and the whole gang.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Get you set for kickoff with NFL Game Day Morning.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Sam Darnold joins them live ahead of his matchup against
- 35:34Speaker 2: Kirk Cousins and the Falcons. Plus the guys discuss if
- 35:36Speaker 2: the Bills are the best team in football all that more. Sunday,
- 35:40Speaker 2: nine am Eastern.
- 35:41Speaker 4: I am not shorter than Colleen. However, Lil Wayne is
- 35:44Speaker 4: shorter than Colleen. Oh yeah, just so we're clear. He
- 35:46Speaker 4: was here last week.
- 35:47Speaker 2: A very appropriate moniker. That's great to write this down.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Some predictions for Week fourteen.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Start us off, Greg okay, so am I righte this?
- 35:56Speaker 3: Downs are finally on a winning streak two weeks in
- 35:59Speaker 3: a row. It's time to push my chips into the table.
- 36:02Speaker 3: We're doubling up. It's on the doll they are going
- 36:04Speaker 3: to go over twenty five and a half points. I
- 36:07Speaker 3: asked for the team total of points. I thought it
- 36:10Speaker 3: must be like thirty four thirty five against the Debts
- 36:13Speaker 3: because they put up thirty four against the Raiders, thirty
- 36:16Speaker 3: four against the Patriots home. No, it's only twenty five.
- 36:18Speaker 3: They're gonna top that with ease. And that was so easy.
- 36:21Speaker 3: I decided to up the degree of difficulty. Let's go
- 36:24Speaker 3: over one and a half touchdowns for Tua Tongoailoa. Their
- 36:27Speaker 3: run game has stunk. They're not a good red zone
- 36:30Speaker 3: team running the ball. They're a great red zone team
- 36:32Speaker 3: throwing the ball. So we get both to and the Dolphins.
- 36:35Speaker 4: I'm keeping my streak alive and I don't need to
- 36:37Speaker 4: push any chips, and I'm just going to keep winning
- 36:39Speaker 4: because he never, you know, go broke taking a profit,
- 36:41Speaker 4: but I have Jalen Hurts. Scoring a rushing touchdown seems
- 36:45Speaker 4: kind of like a given right, push push against a
- 36:47Speaker 4: team that's not so great when it comes to defending
- 36:49Speaker 4: the run. Well, I just want to point out that
- 36:51Speaker 4: if he does get one more rushing touchdown, he will
- 36:54Speaker 4: pass both Josh Allen and Cam Newton for the most
- 36:56Speaker 4: rushing touchdowns by a quarter back through their first six seasons.
- 36:59Speaker 4: So it's a fun wow.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll take a kind of a career long one
- 37:03Speaker 2: as well, because Mike Evans needs to average about ninety
- 37:06Speaker 2: five yards for the rest of the season to hit
- 37:08Speaker 2: one thousand yards. Once again, it's an incredible start to
- 37:11Speaker 2: his career, but the number is just sixty eight and
- 37:13Speaker 2: a half in this matchup against the Raiders. So yeah,
- 37:16Speaker 2: Mike Evans is going to have more receiving yards than
- 37:18Speaker 2: that because this is the mission, not to make it
- 37:20Speaker 2: to the playoffs or catch Atlanta. Get Mike Evans one
- 37:24Speaker 2: thousand receiving yards. Thanks for watching game debut for Cynthia
- 37:28Speaker 2: and Greg, I'm Patrick. We'll see you next week. Enjoy
- 37:31Speaker 2: the game.
