- G.K. Wallace (00:00) The Catholics have their Bible. I will say this though, ordinarily the Catholic Bible is a pretty good translation. And the way they inject Catholicism, they will put notes or footnotes in their Bible. They recommend that their members get their Bible with the notes. And when they find the passage that contradicts Catholicism, they write a note in the bottom of the text. to explain it away. For instance, where Paul talks about that I have a right to lead about a wife as Cephas or Peter, they put a footnote down there and said he could have a woman but couldn't have a wife. Had to find an interpretation of it. I suspect that pretty well represented it, but at least that's the explanation that they made. Now, can't you see the multitude of problems that can arise and it does arise?
