- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is made and.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome to another episode of Scottie and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:08Speaker 3: I realized there was something.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I did over the weekend that we were talking yesterday
- 0:12Speaker 2: Abby about how like I will eventually give my girlfriend
- 0:15Speaker 2: the ick. I think something I did this weekend actually
- 0:18Speaker 2: made that happen.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Well, I think it happened before then, because she already
- 0:21Speaker 1: told me about the first time she got the ick
- 0:23Speaker 1: from you. No, she did, Yes, she did, because she
- 0:25Speaker 1: told me she she's like, our first fight happened because
- 0:27Speaker 1: he gave me the eck. What you were there? What
- 0:31Speaker 1: was literally there?
- 0:33Speaker 3: Oh my god?
- 0:33Speaker 1: Do you remember the socks you were wearing? That?
- 0:36Speaker 2: God? Okay, well that's all right, So well then this
- 0:41Speaker 2: one's way worse than I've definitely given her much bigger
- 0:43Speaker 2: ix than that. Yes, there was a night that we
- 0:46Speaker 2: went out and I wore I call them boot socks,
- 0:50Speaker 2: and I wear boots, I wear thicker socks. And so
- 0:53Speaker 2: we had a couple of glasses of wine and I
- 0:55Speaker 2: came back, I took my boots off, and I got
- 0:57Speaker 2: these big old socks, and my girlfriend was a little
- 0:59Speaker 2: wine drunk.
- 0:59Speaker 3: And she looks down at my socks and she got pissed.
- 1:03Speaker 3: She's like, what is wrong with your socks? They look
- 1:07Speaker 3: like shoes? Oh god, that's how you know? Some wine
- 1:11Speaker 3: was sad.
- 1:12Speaker 2: And I was like, what are you talking? She literally
- 1:14Speaker 2: like take them off. I was like, are you serious?
- 1:16Speaker 2: She's like, take them off right now.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I don't. I don't like them. So I have not
- 1:20Speaker 3: worn those socks yet.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It's just so funny. Women are so different because I've
- 1:23Speaker 1: definitely been in that same conversation, but it's been completely reversed.
- 1:27Speaker 1: So instead of are you look at me like that,
- 1:29Speaker 1: I'm wait, like a jigsaw look instead of him wearing so,
- 1:34Speaker 1: I was like, can you put socks on? Like? I
- 1:35Speaker 1: don't want to look at your feet?
- 1:36Speaker 2: Okay, now that I completely understand. Yeah, horrifying, Like dude
- 1:39Speaker 2: toes whenever I see look, I get it. We live
- 1:42Speaker 2: by the beach. People like to rock foot flops never
- 1:45Speaker 2: a fan.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Does your woman have a thing of her feet? Is
- 1:47Speaker 1: that why shees mad that you had the socks on?
- 1:49Speaker 3: No?
- 1:50Speaker 2: I think it was because the socks were like you
- 1:51Speaker 2: ever seen like elf shoes where they kind of like
- 1:54Speaker 2: point up.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's how the boots ended up for me.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I love a Christmas movie.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Well that was me in my little red as. They
- 2:00Speaker 2: look like I think she called them boats on my
- 2:03Speaker 2: feet or something like.
- 2:04Speaker 1: That, boats on your feet. Oh yeah, like they look
- 2:05Speaker 1: like little gondolas.
- 2:06Speaker 3: They looked like gondolas. It looked ridiculous.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Oh so like your socks were too.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Long, yes, and they were just flopping out there like
- 2:13Speaker 2: little ears.
- 2:14Speaker 1: That's horrifying.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Well that's why she told me to take them off. Okay,
- 2:18Speaker 3: this is not good.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Then if that gave her the ick, then what I
- 2:20Speaker 2: did this past weekend was even worse. Okay, because we
- 2:22Speaker 2: were out for the Fourth of July weekend and we
- 2:25Speaker 2: were out at the beach bars, and our whole plan
- 2:27Speaker 2: was to, like, I don't know, take the sun Runner,
- 2:29Speaker 2: which is a free transportation service. We took it down
- 2:32Speaker 2: to the beaches that drops you right off, and we're
- 2:34Speaker 2: coming back at like eleven. And the problem was is
- 2:37Speaker 2: at that time, the sun Runners like slowed down, and
- 2:39Speaker 2: so we're sitting by the bus stop after some drinks
- 2:42Speaker 2: were had and fireworks were watched, and the sun Runners
- 2:45Speaker 2: taking like it's thirty minutes, then it's forty five, and
- 2:48Speaker 2: we're now been waiting for an hour, and so we say,
- 2:50Speaker 2: ef it, We're gonna go ahead and get the uber.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Well, we ordered the uber and we realize it's the
- 2:55Speaker 2: car right in the parking lot. And as we go
- 2:57Speaker 2: to get to the car, our friends find a way
- 3:01Speaker 2: simple on the ground, and of course our friends are
- 3:03Speaker 2: good in humans, and they're like, let's find the owner.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Now. I'll be honest, I.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Was a slightly buzzed, and I thought, no, that's them,
- 3:12Speaker 2: that's not our problem. They left their wallet, they look
- 3:14Speaker 2: it in, they find the the idea of this dude.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And maybe I was just something about it didn't seem right,
- 3:21Speaker 2: and I just maybe it's because our industry.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Well, because sometimes I've heard that that is a common
- 3:26Speaker 1: human trafficking Uh yeah, no, literally, it's a common human
- 3:30Speaker 1: trafficking thing where they put some kind of sedative or
- 3:32Speaker 1: poison on like the money. Maybe there's like money on
- 3:35Speaker 1: the ground and you pick it up and it like
- 3:36Speaker 1: knocks you out.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I've never appreciated you more em in this moment.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Well, I also am just a hater that if I
- 3:42Speaker 1: wanted to go home, I would have been like, you guys,
- 3:43Speaker 1: just leave it there. He'll come back for it.
- 3:45Speaker 2: That's what I thought, because I literally the first sentence,
- 3:47Speaker 2: I was like, don't touch that.
- 3:48Speaker 3: It might have fentanyl on it. I don't know, but
- 3:51Speaker 3: we see these stories.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and so no, of course, they pick up the
- 3:54Speaker 2: wallet and my girlfriend and one of her best friends
- 3:56Speaker 2: are like, we're gonna find the owner. They pull immediately
- 3:58Speaker 2: we get in the car, they pull out the eye.
- 4:00Speaker 2: They get them on Facebook, they start messaging people that
- 4:02Speaker 2: they know. Well, all of a sudden we get in
- 4:06Speaker 2: contact within that same ride with this human. Okay, now,
- 4:09Speaker 2: that's fine whatever. I was kind of annoyed that. I
- 4:12Speaker 2: was like, dude, you should have been responsible enough to
- 4:16Speaker 2: not lose your wallet.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a little judge, because I've lost things to know.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I'm kind of the same way where it's like I
- 4:20Speaker 1: would have just left it there because I would have
- 4:23Speaker 1: wanted to come back and just get my wallet.
- 4:25Speaker 3: That's what I would have thought too.
- 4:26Speaker 2: But as we started going back with him, my girlfriend
- 4:28Speaker 2: texted this dude on like, I don't know, I think
- 4:31Speaker 2: they got another numbers from Facebook. But all of a
- 4:34Speaker 2: sudden he starts getting demandy. He's like, oh, could you
- 4:37Speaker 2: just bring the wallet back? And I was like, I'm
- 4:40Speaker 2: about to throw this wallet out the window. Because first off, sir,
- 4:42Speaker 2: we didn't need to pick this up. And so now
- 4:45Speaker 2: my girlfriend and I are going through this little moment
- 4:47Speaker 2: of anxiety of like what do we do with this
- 4:48Speaker 2: damn wallet?
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah, but see he's got the same thought precess I had.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's like, well, I was turning around to go get
- 4:53Speaker 1: my wallet, and now you've taken me on a wild
- 4:55Speaker 1: goose chase. Why am I on his side?
- 4:57Speaker 2: I don't, Well, you might be on the whole way through.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And maybe my girlfriend was too, because I got a
- 5:01Speaker 2: little too upset about it. I was like, this, dude,
- 5:04Speaker 2: if you wanted his wallet, would have gotten his wallet.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Let's get his address.
- 5:07Speaker 2: We'll mail it to him, because we were thinking about
- 5:09Speaker 2: driving it back then.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I said, hell no, where did he live? By chance?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Well, this is where it gets dicey, because we couldn't
- 5:15Speaker 2: reveal who we are and where we were, because he
- 5:17Speaker 2: was like, I'll just come and get it from you,
- 5:18Speaker 2: and I said absolutely not. I don't know who you
- 5:21Speaker 2: are and I don't want you showing up at my house.
- 5:23Speaker 2: So we threw the question at him, where do you live?
- 5:26Speaker 2: And he said absolutely not.
- 5:28Speaker 1: You drop it off a police station. That's what you do.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Well, we were in a taco boat line and I
- 5:32Speaker 2: was like, if this dude doesn't give us his address
- 5:35Speaker 2: to take the we'll mail it, I said, And I
- 5:37Speaker 2: texted him. I was like, we will mail it to you.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Where do you want us to mail it? He's like,
- 5:40Speaker 2: I don't feel comfortable giving you our address. I thought, okay,
- 5:45Speaker 2: but we're not the ones that lost our wallet. This
- 5:47Speaker 2: is on you and we're not gonna come.
- 5:48Speaker 3: He's like, could you just come back?
- 5:49Speaker 1: No?
- 5:50Speaker 3: So I was like, We're just gonna drop it off
- 5:52Speaker 3: a Taco Bell.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Like.
- 5:52Speaker 3: I was like, I'm not doing this right now.
- 5:55Speaker 2: That was a little mean of me, and I think
- 5:56Speaker 2: my girlfriend realized that, and so what we ended up deciding.
- 5:59Speaker 2: She gave me this idea, guys, a good thing to
- 6:02Speaker 2: do is just listen. She's like, well, how about we
- 6:04Speaker 2: take it to publics? I said, you know what, fine.
- 6:07Speaker 1: To be fair, I would trust my wallet more at
- 6:09Speaker 1: publics than I would ever at Taco bell. I said.
- 6:11Speaker 2: You know, well, in my head, I was like, if
- 6:13Speaker 2: you want it that bad, what you're willing to come get,
- 6:14Speaker 2: come to the Taco Bell.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But also drop again police station? Why not drop it
- 6:18Speaker 1: off at a police station?
- 6:19Speaker 2: I don't know what the police station is. I said,
- 6:20Speaker 2: I'll bring it in the publics in the morning. So
- 6:22Speaker 2: I woke up and I drove it to public dropped
- 6:23Speaker 2: it off and never saw it again. But what I
- 6:26Speaker 2: realized is in that moment, I got way too upset
- 6:29Speaker 2: about the situation. That was not that upsetting, huh, and
- 6:32Speaker 2: it shouldn't have gotten me to that level, which I'm like,
- 6:34Speaker 2: damn it, I showed a nick and I'm pretty sure
- 6:37Speaker 2: that was an eck.
- 6:37Speaker 1: What's funny is guys don't know what X are because
- 6:39Speaker 1: that's not anick. No that I would consider it more.
- 6:43Speaker 1: There is a difference between an itck and a turnoff.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Okay, so wow, and ick is.
- 6:49Speaker 1: The sock thing where it's like, this is dumb, I
- 6:51Speaker 1: shouldn't be getting this upset about it. But a turnoff
- 6:54Speaker 1: is you shouldn't be getting that upset about it. And no,
- 6:57Speaker 1: I'm like turned off.
- 6:58Speaker 2: So you think it was a turn off that I
- 6:59Speaker 2: got like overprotective about it.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That's not overprotective. You showed you lost your cool. That's
- 7:06Speaker 1: a turn off.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's valid.
- 7:08Speaker 1: That's not an ick. And it is like you wore
- 7:11Speaker 1: the wrong colored T shirt and it doesn't match with
- 7:14Speaker 1: your complexion, and I'm like, what are you wearing? That's
- 7:16Speaker 1: an egg?
- 7:17Speaker 3: Damn it? So what do you think is worse.
- 7:20Speaker 1: For me? Probably the sock thing, because I would have
- 7:24Speaker 1: been on your side in the wallet Okay, cool in
- 7:26Speaker 1: the wallet situation.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Luckily, I don't think the wallet got two out of hand,
- 7:29Speaker 2: but it was weird to kind of reflect on it
- 7:31Speaker 2: the day after. I was like, Scott, why are you
- 7:33Speaker 2: so like adamant about this damn wallet?
- 7:35Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 7:35Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I was just annoyed that we're going the lengths that
- 7:37Speaker 2: we were for this random dude, and I didn't like
- 7:40Speaker 2: the way he was responding to us.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I get it. It's an inconvenience to you when you
- 7:43Speaker 1: didn't do anything wrong, okay, and it's it's annoying, it's frustrating.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I would have been thinking the same thing on the inside.
- 7:49Speaker 1: It's recoverable, Yeah, it's recoverable. And also the guy was
- 7:53Speaker 1: thinking exactly what I was thinking. Whereas if I realized
- 7:55Speaker 1: I lost my wallet, the first thing I would have
- 7:57Speaker 1: done is gone back to the bus stop, got my wallet,
- 7:59Speaker 1: and now I've got to get up at six am
- 8:01Speaker 1: to go to publics. Well, I'm hope, well, now everybody's inconvenience.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I did wake up that morning when I was like,
- 8:07Speaker 2: damn it, why did I agree to drive to public
- 8:09Speaker 2: I was so cozy in bed, slightly hung over, and
- 8:11Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't want to drive to publics.
- 8:14Speaker 3: So there I was walked.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Up the customer service and the wall that I found
- 8:17Speaker 2: in the quote on working lot. I hope they got it.
- 8:20Speaker 2: And if they happen to hear this one, keep your
- 8:22Speaker 2: wallet closer to you next time.
- 8:23Speaker 1: You gotta get an ear tag on it.
- 8:25Speaker 3: That's what I'm thinking.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I don't have one online, but if you had put
- 8:28Speaker 2: one in, make it easier for yourself. It wasn't our
- 8:31Speaker 2: first fight. I don't think we've had our first fight yet.
- 8:34Speaker 1: I mean, so you haven't fought, like legitimately thought about anything,
- 8:38Speaker 1: which is good because you've only been together for like
- 8:40Speaker 1: four months.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I think we handle things a lot better now,
- 8:44Speaker 2: I mean honestly, but you're right, like, there hasn't been
- 8:46Speaker 2: anything that's gotten to the lengths of why the hell
- 8:48Speaker 2: would we be fighting yet?
- 8:49Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, Now, I'm not against fighting.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Or conflict, but I do think that we've both acknowledged
- 8:54Speaker 2: like things that would have gotten upset in the past.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Yeah, not even close anymore.
- 8:58Speaker 1: But the thing is is, I really do think, like,
- 8:59Speaker 1: what is there to fight about? Like, when you're dating
- 9:01Speaker 1: somebody and you don't live with them and you don't
- 9:03Speaker 1: have kids with them, what are you gonna argue about?
- 9:06Speaker 2: That's a good question. What's crazy is in past relationships everything?
- 9:11Speaker 2: Like what give me an example. Let's see, let me
- 9:14Speaker 2: think of past traumatic moments. Not texting back soon enough okay,
- 9:20Speaker 2: not giving someone enough attention okay, hanging out with a friend,
- 9:24Speaker 2: talking to a woman that's not your girlfriend.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Like all these little things I have, you know, put.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Together, not listening all the way through, being too upset
- 9:35Speaker 2: about a wallet, all of these little things. Yeah, they
- 9:39Speaker 2: slowly add up. But I think it's how you react
- 9:41Speaker 2: to them. Like I think, in the past, instead of
- 9:44Speaker 2: listening and hearing where someone's at, you try fighting back.
- 9:47Speaker 2: You try proving your point instead of hearing where they're at.
- 9:51Speaker 2: That's caused so many fights. Where now those things are
- 9:54Speaker 2: so small and so miniscool. But again we haven't. Luckily,
- 9:58Speaker 2: we still have a little bit of distance between us. Luckily,
- 10:00Speaker 2: I actually wish we were closer.
- 10:01Speaker 3: But we have distance.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Between us that when we get together, Oh my gosh,
- 10:06Speaker 2: that'd be so silly to use that time to fight.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:09Speaker 2: So I don't think those little moments have been able
- 10:10Speaker 2: to have time to come up yet.
- 10:12Speaker 1: But I also think when you're with the right person,
- 10:14Speaker 1: the thought of fighting is a huge, like justick factor
- 10:17Speaker 1: for both of you.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Like it has to be truly worth it, and
- 10:20Speaker 2: it's not even oh, we're going to fight, it's like, no,
- 10:22Speaker 2: we have something that we have to overcome. Yeah, and
- 10:24Speaker 2: let's go at this together. That part's way healthier.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I also think when you're with the wrong person, it
- 10:29Speaker 1: brings out the worst parts of you, and that's supposed
- 10:31Speaker 1: to be you're signed to get out of the relationship
- 10:35Speaker 1: because little things shouldn't make you react that big. And
- 10:38Speaker 1: I think sometimes it's subconsciously is telling you that something
- 10:41Speaker 1: is wrong, but you think it's about the wallet. But
- 10:44Speaker 1: it's not about the wallet. It's about the relationship you're in.
- 10:46Speaker 3: That's exactly right. Yeah, Oh I do.
- 10:49Speaker 1: So that's why people when people say they fight, are like, oh,
- 10:51Speaker 1: if you don't fight with your partner, it's a red flag.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm like, actually, I think it's a huge red flag
- 10:56Speaker 1: if you're fighting about. If you're fighting about things consistently.
- 10:59Speaker 3: That's a good point, or like about little things.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Because my parents have been married and not saying my
- 11:04Speaker 1: parents have never fought ever, but I think i've had them.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I've seen them have one major argument ever. Oh really, yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 1: haws that change? I mean did they fight in private? Maybe?
- 11:12Speaker 1: I don't know, but I saw them get in like
- 11:14Speaker 1: one blow up fight in my eighteen years of living
- 11:17Speaker 1: in their house.
- 11:18Speaker 2: That's actually really healthy, I think if I don't know
- 11:20Speaker 2: how you handle it, especially listening with your kids. But
- 11:23Speaker 2: I remember my parents would have private foughts. But also
- 11:25Speaker 2: I remember a lot of like male sitting there and
- 11:28Speaker 2: I'm hearing everything, and I'm like, oh, And what's crazy
- 11:31Speaker 2: is as I got older, I started to react similar ways.
- 11:34Speaker 2: So I had to unlearn that because I would be
- 11:37Speaker 2: saying things that I've heard my parents say and I'm like.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Oh, what else? Not good? Not good at all? It's
- 11:42Speaker 3: not good at all.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I should never say deadly not good.
- 11:46Speaker 2: But it is wild because I think a lot of
- 11:48Speaker 2: those things. What I've learned and what we're trying to
- 11:50Speaker 2: do in this relationship is just when things come up,
- 11:52Speaker 2: just talk about them. Talk about them casually without letting
- 11:55Speaker 2: the time go on where the emotion builds of it,
- 11:57Speaker 2: because I've definitely done that in the past, where.
- 11:59Speaker 3: It's you sit, you simmer, you sit and you simmer.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Then all of a sudden, it's been a couple of
- 12:03Speaker 2: weeks and maybe a couple months, or something's just been
- 12:05Speaker 2: in the back of your head, but you're like, I
- 12:07Speaker 2: don't know if I should bring this up, and then
- 12:09Speaker 2: all of a sudden, boom, and then you're in a
- 12:12Speaker 2: fight because now you've got your emotions all charged. And
- 12:15Speaker 2: now the person's like, wait a second, I don't even
- 12:16Speaker 2: have time to think about what you're saying.
- 12:18Speaker 3: You're coming at me with so much heat. I gotta
- 12:20Speaker 3: come back with heat too.
- 12:21Speaker 2: So I don't think it was a it wasn't a fight,
- 12:24Speaker 2: but I think it was our first little moment of like, hmm,
- 12:26Speaker 2: I think I was a turn off in that moment.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Oh, your mask slipped a little bit.
- 12:30Speaker 2: It did where I was like, Okay, let me come
- 12:33Speaker 2: back to grips, let's come back. Let's reevaluate a good
- 12:36Speaker 2: learning lesson for next time.
- 12:38Speaker 1: But I think it's good then that person sees that
- 12:40Speaker 1: you're human. That's the part of relationships I've always been
- 12:43Speaker 1: afraid of is seeing a guy get disillusioned with you,
- 12:47Speaker 1: like they when you finally get off the pedestal, because
- 12:50Speaker 1: it will happen at some point, but I.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Could feel it, like not for her, Like I literally
- 12:55Speaker 2: it's crazy. I'm like, wow, oh my god, so pretty.
- 12:59Speaker 2: But I could see that now that we're having more
- 13:01Speaker 2: casual hangouts, like we're now entering that phase where it's like, okay,
- 13:05Speaker 2: you could see me in a much more human side. Yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 2: it comes out a lot more frequently.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Yeah, And that will either make you love that person
- 13:14Speaker 1: more or it will make you like them less. And
- 13:17Speaker 1: that's the scariest part is when someone becomes disillusioned with you,
- 13:20Speaker 1: what path do they take?
- 13:22Speaker 3: Mmmm, well, hopefully it's more well.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I'm gonna go ahead and say that
- 13:26Speaker 1: you're fine, but I'm saying that like that's always been
- 13:30Speaker 1: a fear of mine, Like, you want to keep yourself
- 13:32Speaker 1: on that pedestal so long so you never have to
- 13:34Speaker 1: see that make that decision.
- 13:36Speaker 2: That's a good I mean, that's what's really hard, because
- 13:38Speaker 2: if you don't present yourself in the beginning, I mean, yes,
- 13:40Speaker 2: you put on you know, your best but you still
- 13:43Speaker 2: got to live in your same light. Because if you
- 13:46Speaker 2: make them fall for somebody that's not you, and then
- 13:48Speaker 2: they kind of get they finally get to.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Meet the real you.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Yeah, if those two people are so far apart, you're
- 13:54Speaker 2: literally setting yourself up for heartbreak.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and performing constantly would just be exhausting apps all
- 14:00Speaker 1: to go home and feel like you have to play boyfriend.
- 14:03Speaker 3: That would suck.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I think I've done that in the past, where I
- 14:06Speaker 2: stepped into previous relationships acting as someone that I was
- 14:11Speaker 2: truly not in my core, Yeah, like the lifestyle that
- 14:14Speaker 2: I was trying to live, the ways I was trying
- 14:16Speaker 2: to be. Like what like let's say, like, okay, a
- 14:19Speaker 2: good example is, like somebody likes to go out all
- 14:21Speaker 2: the time. If I do that in the beginning of
- 14:24Speaker 2: a relationship, only for you to find out like in
- 14:27Speaker 2: my core, I love an at home date. Lord, have mercy,
- 14:31Speaker 2: Like I'll go out make me you know, months, maybe
- 14:35Speaker 2: twice a month, but for the most part, if we
- 14:37Speaker 2: could have a night in or with a smaller group
- 14:40Speaker 2: of friends, Like you got to know that about me,
- 14:42Speaker 2: because if you're expecting that I'm going to go out
- 14:44Speaker 2: every weekend and then you get upset if I'm not
- 14:46Speaker 2: going out every weekend with you. Oh lord, we're gonna
- 14:48Speaker 2: be detached quick. Yeah, like that's not going to be okay.
- 14:51Speaker 2: But or like, okay, let's say like you also got
- 14:54Speaker 2: to realize, like I'm very work driven, like what I
- 14:57Speaker 2: do and my passions and my purposes.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Because this was many, many years ago.
- 15:01Speaker 2: But when I stepped into this world and this took
- 15:04Speaker 2: over such a big part of my life, the person
- 15:06Speaker 2: I was with was not ready for that or wanting
- 15:09Speaker 2: to be.
- 15:09Speaker 3: With that version of me. That was a shock because
- 15:12Speaker 3: then they tell you.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Straight up, I don't like what you do and I
- 15:16Speaker 2: don't like who you've become. Okay, Well that sucks because
- 15:19Speaker 2: this is the most to me I've ever felt. I know,
- 15:22Speaker 2: So that part needed to be understood right up right
- 15:25Speaker 2: up front. And that's what I love about where we're
- 15:26Speaker 2: at right now. It is like we knew all those
- 15:28Speaker 2: things going into it.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yeah. And the good part about finding your person later
- 15:31Speaker 1: in your twenties because I feel like early to mid
- 15:34Speaker 1: twenties you're just constantly like it's not that you're somebody else,
- 15:38Speaker 1: but you're constantly just doing what feels natural to you
- 15:41Speaker 1: and then I do feel like in your later twenties
- 15:44Speaker 1: to your early thirties, you're just like you just kind
- 15:47Speaker 1: of realize like, oh, like my personality has frozen over.
- 15:50Speaker 1: This is just who I am, you know what I mean?
- 15:52Speaker 1: Like this, this is what I am, this is what
- 15:54Speaker 1: I do, is what I like to do. It's what
- 15:55Speaker 1: I don't want to do. Where I see my future going.
- 15:58Speaker 1: And in your twenties are constantly changed like that can
- 16:01Speaker 1: make being in a relationship really difficult. Oh.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Absolutely, if you're trying to morph yourself into something that
- 16:05Speaker 3: you're not.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I was guilty of that. Trust me. I was running
- 16:08Speaker 1: five k's, trying to act like I was athletic, doing
- 16:10Speaker 1: all these crazy things, trying to look cool to these
- 16:12Speaker 1: guys that I wanted to date. And then I was like, actually,
- 16:15Speaker 1: you know what, I hate cardio. I don't want to
- 16:17Speaker 1: do that. I don't want to wake up at four
- 16:19Speaker 1: am to go run with a bunch of other losers.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Meanwhile, I'm like, oh, they have a new Sunrise club
- 16:24Speaker 2: here that wakes up at five to go get on
- 16:26Speaker 2: the trail by five thirty.
- 16:27Speaker 1: And I'm just kidding. If you run, you're not a loser.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I'm the loser because I don't like to run.
- 16:31Speaker 3: You're not a turkey trot family.
- 16:33Speaker 1: No, absolutely not. No.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know why.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I mean, I've never understood. And listen, I love if
- 16:39Speaker 1: you love My mom's a marathon runner. Hell yeah, I
- 16:41Speaker 1: love if you love it. I love that you have
- 16:44Speaker 1: something that you love enough to put yourself through that
- 16:46Speaker 1: kind of pain. It is never made sense to me.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You want to wake up at four am and just
- 16:51Speaker 1: go run with a bunch of other people.
- 16:53Speaker 3: It is insanity, you know what I mean? But I
- 16:55Speaker 3: get it to my core.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Yeah, because I wasn't like that forever and then all
- 16:58Speaker 2: of a sudden I got like this running twenty eight.
- 17:00Speaker 3: It's like I need to get out that run.
- 17:02Speaker 1: You have to choose your personality traite. Do I want
- 17:04Speaker 1: to travel? Do I want to start at running marathons?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Or do I want to go to grad school?
- 17:09Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's the one I've seen a lot. Or
- 17:11Speaker 2: you get to this point of like your twenties and
- 17:13Speaker 2: you're like, you know what, I'm going back to school.
- 17:16Speaker 2: That is probably the furthest one from me where I
- 17:19Speaker 2: will run a marathon every week before I step back
- 17:23Speaker 2: into school. Oh yeah, I didn't like school that much.
- 17:26Speaker 2: School's not great, it wasn't fun.
- 17:28Speaker 1: And I also feel like in twenty twenty six, you
- 17:30Speaker 1: don't need a degree or specific grad program to be successful.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I feel like maybe thirty years ago that was different,
- 17:37Speaker 1: but like nowadays, I feel like there's just so many
- 17:39Speaker 1: other avenues to be successful.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Well that's what's tough though, because half of our population
- 17:43Speaker 2: sees it like that, but the other half that's hiring. Shoot,
- 17:47Speaker 2: I mean some of the requirements are well, you're not
- 17:49Speaker 2: even going to be looked at unless you have a master's. Yeah,
- 17:52Speaker 2: that's what makes it really tough, where it's.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Like, well what do you do?
- 17:54Speaker 1: Then?
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you can get the skills without spending all the money,
- 17:58Speaker 2: or you could go spend all the money hopefully get
- 18:00Speaker 2: a job. Like I think there's even and I could
- 18:03Speaker 2: be speaking way out of line here, but like for teaching, teaching,
- 18:08Speaker 2: a lot of it requires like a master's in education,
- 18:12Speaker 2: and then you go get a teacher salary.
- 18:15Speaker 3: That's fed up.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I know, it's so dumb. They don't teach you any
- 18:19Speaker 1: of that, and it's fine, Like if your parents paid
- 18:20Speaker 1: for your education, you've always wanted to be a teacher
- 18:23Speaker 1: and you're just like going into it debt for you.
- 18:24Speaker 3: But that sucks.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I mean to have a teacher salary with a teacher's education.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah, like you're spending all that money to go back
- 18:30Speaker 2: to school and luckily, I think there's a lot of
- 18:32Speaker 2: programs that help, or maybe you could do working and
- 18:36Speaker 2: education at the same time. But what the You're doing
- 18:39Speaker 2: all that and then our system does not give you
- 18:42Speaker 2: the finances to be able to make it worth it.
- 18:45Speaker 3: That's crazy to me, crazy crazy. Anyway, happy, how are
- 18:48Speaker 3: you doing good?
- 18:51Speaker 1: I'm waiting patiently for Taylor's shift to drop her wedding photos.
- 18:54Speaker 1: As of recording this, it's July eighth, which I do wonder.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I do wonder if she's going to drop them today
- 18:59Speaker 1: because this is the three year anniversary of Travis attending
- 19:04Speaker 1: her Aras Tour concert.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Oh okay, I didn't realize there's actually a talient.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Is there anything that would be coming up that would
- 19:10Speaker 2: make more sense than because if it's just I don't
- 19:12Speaker 2: know when there if we ever had an actual anniversary
- 19:15Speaker 2: for them for when they started talking.
- 19:17Speaker 3: But okay, so this was that.
- 19:19Speaker 1: So he attended the Aras tour on July eighth, twenty
- 19:23Speaker 1: twenty three in Kansas City. Nine two secret surprise song
- 19:27Speaker 1: was Last Kiss and also Dorothea. So I wonder if
- 19:31Speaker 1: she'll post today sometime around like noon so nine am PST.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Or if she will wait. I don't think she's going
- 19:40Speaker 1: to wait longer than two weeks. So I don't know
- 19:42Speaker 1: what another significant date would be. I don't know if
- 19:45Speaker 1: they have like a New Heights podcasting anniversary where he
- 19:49Speaker 1: asked her out. I don't know if we can find that.
- 19:51Speaker 2: That would be sweet to see. I what's wild for
- 19:54Speaker 2: my brain still? And I've said this multiple times here,
- 19:56Speaker 2: but it's like until she posts that, that's when we'll
- 19:59Speaker 2: find be like, Okay, it was real, Like we've had
- 20:01Speaker 2: everything else. Celebrities have talked about it. We've gotten so
- 20:04Speaker 2: many insider details of how the route was to get
- 20:07Speaker 2: into Madison Square Garden, the signs that went up all
- 20:10Speaker 2: through New York of you know, just married, and they
- 20:13Speaker 2: had the tea and the tea. But Taylor nor Travis
- 20:18Speaker 2: have they said anything.
- 20:19Speaker 1: We have not heard anything. Okay, So here's the thing.
- 20:22Speaker 1: The release date for the podcast where Travis revealed he
- 20:26Speaker 1: asked Taylor out and he wanted to was Wednesday, July
- 20:31Speaker 1: twenty sixth, twenty twenty three, and then they were first
- 20:34Speaker 1: spotted together September twenty fourth, twenty twenty three. So my
- 20:40Speaker 1: theory is they will release photos sometime between now and
- 20:43Speaker 1: July twenty seventh.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Okay, so like two weeks. We got two weeks to
- 20:46Speaker 2: see if there's any photos that get released. Yeah, we
- 20:48Speaker 2: won't get much, though, we'll probably get one of I'm
- 20:50Speaker 2: thinking of just her and him.
- 20:52Speaker 1: It'll probably just be a photo of them at the
- 20:54Speaker 1: altar or a photo of them together, and it'll just
- 20:58Speaker 1: be like just Tea and Tea married.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I hope it's as I guess, grand as my
- 21:02Speaker 2: heart imagines, Like I envision like the picture being Taylor
- 21:06Speaker 2: Travis obviously looking gorgeous. But and then like, honestly, I
- 21:09Speaker 2: hope like Adam Sandler's right in the background like officiating.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Hey, I'm just hearing me.
- 21:16Speaker 3: I really do, because I'm like to me, I know,
- 21:18Speaker 3: I guess that is what happened. You know, I do
- 21:21Speaker 3: believe it, but I'll believe it more if I actually
- 21:22Speaker 3: see it.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I mean they got married. Surprise, they got married.
- 21:25Speaker 3: They're married.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm excited to see photos. I really feel like
- 21:31Speaker 1: they're gonna do it sooner rather than later, because do
- 21:33Speaker 1: we really trust a thousand people to keep their mouth
- 21:35Speaker 1: shut for two weeks?
- 21:36Speaker 3: Absolutely? Ooh, that's a good point.
- 21:38Speaker 1: I wonder if they're gonna wait as long as possible
- 21:41Speaker 1: and then when things do start to leak, they'll just
- 21:43Speaker 1: release the photo.
- 21:45Speaker 3: I feel like Taylor would want to be ahead of that.
- 21:47Speaker 2: It feels like this would be I think it's gonna
- 21:50Speaker 2: be one week after the wedding, So if it was
- 21:52Speaker 2: on Friday, I think this Friday, one full week it
- 21:55Speaker 2: now could be released.
- 21:56Speaker 1: It makes sense.
- 21:57Speaker 2: So July tenth, Yeah, like just okay, we've given enough time.
- 22:00Speaker 2: They could breathe, they could have their own private moment.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Now they could let the world see.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Yeah, let the world see Tete, which.
- 22:06Speaker 3: What a weird thing.
- 22:06Speaker 2: It has to be, like you got to like put
- 22:09Speaker 2: together the whole plan for the world to see your wedding,
- 22:11Speaker 2: Like nothing could be private for them.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't. I don't think they want privacy, that's true,
- 22:16Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I think if they wanted privacy,
- 22:18Speaker 1: they genuinely would find a way to have privacy. I
- 22:21Speaker 1: don't think a person that has a twelve hundred person
- 22:23Speaker 1: wedding cares that much about privacy. I think they care
- 22:27Speaker 1: more about security.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Okay, that's valid, That makes a lot of sense.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I actually don't think Taylors really cares that much about privacy.
- 22:33Speaker 1: She has all our entire discography is literally, here's what
- 22:36Speaker 1: happened to my love life, Here's how it made me feel,
- 22:39Speaker 1: here's what I've learned. Blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah.
- 22:41Speaker 2: You know, yeah, No, and it's worked for And I mean,
- 22:44Speaker 2: if she's okay with it, it just makes me wonder,
- 22:46Speaker 2: like if you ever get to them, And I guess
- 22:48Speaker 2: this goes to what you said, like, if you ever
- 22:49Speaker 2: get to the point where you're like, we've been in
- 22:50Speaker 2: the spotlight for so long, it might be nice to
- 22:53Speaker 2: have some things that are just for us. But with
- 22:56Speaker 2: inviting a thousand people to your wedding, I don't think
- 22:58Speaker 2: that's what you're going after.
- 22:59Speaker 1: No, And maybe they had a private honeymoon. Maybe they
- 23:02Speaker 1: jetted off to the seashells and we didn't hear a
- 23:04Speaker 1: peep from them, because we haven't heard anything from them
- 23:07Speaker 1: that maybe they got the privacy they wanted for this week,
- 23:09Speaker 1: but they didn't care that much about privacy for their
- 23:11Speaker 1: wedding and.
- 23:12Speaker 3: If they wanted to.
- 23:13Speaker 2: It's like you said, if they wanted privacy, I guess
- 23:15Speaker 2: they could get it, because I didn't believe that until
- 23:17Speaker 2: you just talked about how they did the whole ascout thing,
- 23:21Speaker 2: like Travis talked about it in July and they weren't
- 23:23Speaker 2: spotted together until September. So that shows me. I'm like, oh, wait, well,
- 23:27Speaker 2: if they did want privacy, they could have it.
- 23:29Speaker 1: They kept things on the DL for two months. Nobody
- 23:33Speaker 1: we all thought he was crazy. We're like, there's no way,
- 23:35Speaker 1: like maybe they went out on one date whatever. And
- 23:37Speaker 1: I will never forget how I felt when I saw
- 23:39Speaker 1: her at the Kansas City Chiefs game that one time.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I remember thinking this is not real life, because when
- 23:44Speaker 1: she was dating her last ex, Joe, we never saw
- 23:48Speaker 1: her like talk about wanting privacy. They wanted privacy, they
- 23:52Speaker 1: got privacy. But with Travis, she don't care. She's like,
- 23:55Speaker 1: this is my boyfriend or no husband, and we're just
- 23:58Speaker 1: living our lives.
- 23:59Speaker 2: I like that because I think it goes to show
- 24:01Speaker 2: that they could fully support each other out in the open.
- 24:04Speaker 2: And what's crazy is again she's the biggest celebrity in
- 24:07Speaker 2: the world. These are very like at a Chiefs game,
- 24:10Speaker 2: like you have fans that are like right there, Like
- 24:12Speaker 2: you're walking through the hallway with fans.
- 24:14Speaker 1: They're hard launching.
- 24:14Speaker 2: That's crazy, but it's worked, and I think that goes
- 24:17Speaker 2: to show like they found the right person.
- 24:19Speaker 3: You don't have to hide who you are.
- 24:21Speaker 2: You could be all your goofy ways, your mooth, outrageous
- 24:24Speaker 2: and supportive person.
- 24:25Speaker 3: That you want to be.
- 24:26Speaker 2: And it is such a weird but cool thing to
- 24:28Speaker 2: see like Taylor in those moments not being the spotlight.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I mean she is because she's getting a lot of
- 24:33Speaker 2: eyes on her, Yeah, but she's not there for her.
- 24:35Speaker 3: She's like, no, I'm here from my man.
- 24:36Speaker 1: She's like, I don't care good for her. They're putting
- 24:38Speaker 1: the cameras on me. I'm Taylor, I'm here, I'm drinking
- 24:41Speaker 1: my vodka cran and he's there, he's doing his job.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I'm doing my job, and we are good at our
- 24:46Speaker 1: jobs together.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Like it did weirdly, even though like those moments are
- 24:49Speaker 2: very rich, like it did make them very human, Like
- 24:51Speaker 2: I did like that about it.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I think that was the fun part because especially coming
- 24:54Speaker 1: off well, she was still in the middle of the
- 24:56Speaker 1: Era's tour. She'd become this larger than life figure with
- 24:59Speaker 1: this like the most successful tour of all time, and
- 25:04Speaker 1: really not having gotten access to her personal life in
- 25:06Speaker 1: six and a half years. Like as a fan, that
- 25:09Speaker 1: moment getting to see her at the stadium hard launching
- 25:14Speaker 1: with Travis, like it literally my mind exploded, like my
- 25:17Speaker 1: brain rewired. I was like, I wasn't aware this was
- 25:19Speaker 1: an option. I wasn't aware we were allowed this access
- 25:22Speaker 1: to her life anymore. And Yeah, it's been cool to
- 25:25Speaker 1: see them fall in love.
- 25:26Speaker 2: I like it because I think they get to be
- 25:28Speaker 2: who they truly are without hiding it, fully human in
- 25:31Speaker 2: those moments. And I'm sure we're going to see, Oh
- 25:33Speaker 2: my gosh, what's it going to look like?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Now?
- 25:34Speaker 3: Travis has like one more season left of football.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I think this is probably his last season.
- 25:38Speaker 2: If I had to guess, She'll probably be at every
- 25:40Speaker 2: single game fully supporting what we did get to see
- 25:44Speaker 2: the ring though, we got to see the engagement ring.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I'm trying to think, I don't know this much about weddings,
- 25:48Speaker 2: but is there something else that gets added to it?
- 25:50Speaker 3: I know, like a wedding band paint, maybe probably.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I mean, do you know, are you aware about how
- 25:54Speaker 1: marriage works with the wedding vand no.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Not really, That's what I'm saying, Like, I really don't.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Want your dad not wear a wedding band.
- 25:58Speaker 3: No he does.
- 25:59Speaker 2: But the guys ring, so oh maybe I guess we'll
- 26:01Speaker 2: get to see Travis's then, uh huh? And what that
- 26:03Speaker 2: includes because it has to be immaculate.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Well, they probably used the same jewelry designer
- 26:08Speaker 1: as the one that Taylor got, which is this designer
- 26:11Speaker 1: who's actually from my hometown, Jacksonville. She's from Jacksonville, Kendrick Lubec.
- 26:17Speaker 2: And the local girl I remember seeing like a girl
- 26:20Speaker 2: that was more like niche in jewelry that.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Didn't Yeah, she's very I mean she lives in Manhattan now,
- 26:25Speaker 1: but that's where Travis got her ring. It's very original,
- 26:28Speaker 1: very unique, and so it wouldn't shock me if they
- 26:30Speaker 1: use the same designer for that.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I wonder what it has though engraved on it, or
- 26:34Speaker 2: if it has any like, if it has any bedazzlement.
- 26:36Speaker 3: I've seen a lot of dudes now.
- 26:38Speaker 2: There's either two popular ones I've seen, like the ones
- 26:39Speaker 2: with the little diamonds around it, or a lot of
- 26:42Speaker 2: guys have one.
- 26:42Speaker 3: That has like Wood. Oh, it probably won't be that one.
- 26:45Speaker 1: I mean, she has a song called Wood that is
- 26:48Speaker 1: about Travis, So I mean, what a way to really
- 26:52Speaker 1: hone that message. I mind everybody constantly.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, if anybody could support Travis the way
- 26:59Speaker 2: Taylor does, that is very impressive. I'm saying Friday, that's
- 27:03Speaker 2: my best guess. On one of these photos will be released.
- 27:05Speaker 2: I would love to just see what the setup was,
- 27:07Speaker 2: at least inside without everybody in it, just to have
- 27:09Speaker 2: an idea.
- 27:10Speaker 1: I think they'll show us. I mean, maybe we're gonna
- 27:11Speaker 1: get like a Vogue spread.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Who knows that would be sweet.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes sometimes celebs do that, I hear. I know.
- 27:18Speaker 2: We're getting a lot of comments on Instagram about the
- 27:20Speaker 2: Taylor Swift talk that we had yesterday, and what.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Were the people saying?
- 27:22Speaker 3: They're going back and forth.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I think some people are upset with me because I
- 27:25Speaker 2: said like, oh, she's probably gonna, you know, down the line,
- 27:28Speaker 2: use this in a documentary, and everyone's like, maybe she
- 27:31Speaker 2: could just film this for herself. When I this is
- 27:33Speaker 2: where it's gonna be kind of funny. But they would
- 27:35Speaker 2: say when I got married, I had videographers there too,
- 27:39Speaker 2: and maybe they just want the video for themselves.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I love that comment. But you and I we're not
- 27:46Speaker 2: Taylor Swift. Nobody's gonna care about our wedding video. Yeah,
- 27:49Speaker 2: or maybe they will maybe maybe, maybe just a little bit.
- 27:53Speaker 1: But also neither of us are having a twenty six
- 27:55Speaker 1: million dollar wedding. Like, yes, of course I'm interested because
- 27:59Speaker 1: I've listened to Taylor Swift for two decades. But at
- 28:01Speaker 1: the same time, yeah, I am kind of curious how
- 28:04Speaker 1: they pulled off this very private, private until it wasn't
- 28:08Speaker 1: private wedding at Madison Square Garden, which, by the way,
- 28:10Speaker 1: has only had three private events ever, and this is
- 28:13Speaker 1: one of them.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Do you know the other ones?
- 28:15Speaker 1: One was an Elizabeth Taylor birthday party back in the
- 28:18Speaker 1: sixties or seventies maybe good lord, and then I can't
- 28:21Speaker 1: remember what the other one was.
- 28:22Speaker 3: And then this one that's insane.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Se the only time Madison's Square Garden has been a
- 28:26Speaker 1: private event. Others like obviously concerts and stuff, but that's not.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Really private, No, that's literally for the public.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 2: And I was talking to a buddy that lives in
- 28:33Speaker 2: New York on that day. I was like, oh man,
- 28:35Speaker 2: did you see Taylor Swift cup And he's like, dude,
- 28:36Speaker 2: the whole city is like shut down. It's insane, Like
- 28:40Speaker 2: who's going to be able to do that? Taylor and
- 28:42Speaker 2: those two other people exactly like that's crazy.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 28:44Speaker 2: So some people were saying in the comments that they've had,
- 28:46Speaker 2: of course, their wedding recorded. So was married in the
- 28:49Speaker 2: nineties and we had our wedding recorded. It can mean
- 28:52Speaker 2: that they just wanted their wedding recorded for LMG themselves.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Heaven forbid. I think that's hopeful thinking, but.
- 29:00Speaker 2: I don't think that's realistic, and I don't honestly think
- 29:02Speaker 2: that's what Taylor would want. I think she would want
- 29:04Speaker 2: to show at least she seems like she is one
- 29:07Speaker 2: of the celebrities that and you'll definitely back me up
- 29:09Speaker 2: in here like actually appreciates her fans.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I think she appreciates her fans. And also I think
- 29:14Speaker 1: I said, this is somebody in their DMS where I'm like,
- 29:17Speaker 1: I I have listened to this girl share about her relationships,
- 29:21Speaker 1: her ups and downs, and she doesn't only talk about
- 29:24Speaker 1: her relationships, but I've heard her cry about her boyfriend's
- 29:26Speaker 1: for the last twenty years for the love of God,
- 29:28Speaker 1: Show me a wedding dress photo, show me a wedding
- 29:30Speaker 1: dress video, like not to be You're not always entitled
- 29:34Speaker 1: to people's personal lives, but I do kind of think
- 29:36Speaker 1: we are in that specific case. I do think we are.
- 29:38Speaker 3: I do too.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I think at least one or a few, not the
- 29:41Speaker 2: whole thing. I, like you said, I would love to know,
- 29:44Speaker 2: Like I won't never get this, but like the logistics
- 29:47Speaker 2: that went into setting this up.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that sounds insane.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I think one hundred percent. She probably has like a
- 29:53Speaker 1: vogue behind the scenes for her wedding dresses, something to
- 29:56Speaker 1: just give us like little tidbits about the meaning of everything.
- 29:59Speaker 1: So like, why did she choose that fabric, why did
- 30:02Speaker 1: she choose that designer? Like, that's the stuff I would
- 30:04Speaker 1: be interested in, because when you're that big of a
- 30:06Speaker 1: celebrity and you have all the money in the world,
- 30:08Speaker 1: those kinds of decisions do mean something Like when you're
- 30:12Speaker 1: just a girl picking at your wedding dress and it's
- 30:14Speaker 1: not a custom dress, you're just going from shop to shop,
- 30:16Speaker 1: it's usually just because oh, I like this, But when
- 30:18Speaker 1: you get to make something custom from a designer who's
- 30:21Speaker 1: only made a couple of wedding dresses. Ever, like why
- 30:24Speaker 1: did you choose that person? What was the process? Like,
- 30:26Speaker 1: like I would be very intrigued.
- 30:29Speaker 3: I think, as you said that, something just came to
- 30:30Speaker 3: me like this is a historic moment. Mm hm.
- 30:32Speaker 2: This will be something that you know, if I have
- 30:35Speaker 2: kids one day, that they're gonna be like reading about.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Yeah. And I felt the same way about the Royal wedding,
- 30:40Speaker 1: Like I think the taxpayers are owed a little bit
- 30:42Speaker 1: of wedding content because their money is what gave them
- 30:46Speaker 1: that life. Same thing with Taylor Swift. Because I bought
- 30:49Speaker 1: a stupid amount of errors tour tickets. You got to
- 30:53Speaker 1: buy a Cartier bracelet. Oh wow, I'm pretty sure that's
- 30:57Speaker 1: like the cost of the cost equivalent. I'm like that
- 30:59Speaker 1: Cartier that you're wearing right now, my ticket.
- 31:02Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 31:03Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 31:04Speaker 2: That's so crazy to think of it like that, Like,
- 31:06Speaker 2: and I could only imagine now, like if we go forward,
- 31:09Speaker 2: how what are we now about to be thirty Like
- 31:11Speaker 2: we go forward sixty years and it's like, oh god,
- 31:15Speaker 2: that's okay, let's not go that far. Fifty years and
- 31:18Speaker 2: we're gathering around I don't even know what televisions will
- 31:20Speaker 2: look like then, but we're watching like the documentary like
- 31:23Speaker 2: it just watched about like not the same context, but
- 31:26Speaker 2: like the movie for Michael, you know, oh yeah, and
- 31:28Speaker 2: that will be the Taylor Swift.
- 31:30Speaker 1: It is crazy to think that there will be a
- 31:32Speaker 1: biopic about Taylor, and I honestly think it'll be sooner
- 31:35Speaker 1: than we expect. Yeah, Like I think within the next
- 31:39Speaker 1: twenty years.
- 31:41Speaker 2: I could see that that would make more sense because
- 31:43Speaker 2: I think, well, I mean, we were talking about this earlier,
- 31:45Speaker 2: but like the artists that have stayed relevant for this long,
- 31:49Speaker 2: those artists deserve all of that recognition because in this
- 31:52Speaker 2: day of age of music, if you're not putting out
- 31:55Speaker 2: hit after hit, or connecting with your fans or being
- 31:58Speaker 2: out there in the public, like, you die off so quick,
- 32:00Speaker 2: very quickly, like Taylor Swift has been at it a granted,
- 32:03Speaker 2: she was you know, a kid when she started, so
- 32:06Speaker 2: that does help because you all of a sudden you
- 32:08Speaker 2: fall along with the story. Yeah, but her, the Jonas Brothers,
- 32:12Speaker 2: they're coming back and they've still stayed relevant after a
- 32:15Speaker 2: little break.
- 32:15Speaker 3: They're crazy because they took a break and then came back,
- 32:18Speaker 3: I know. And we're just as popular.
- 32:20Speaker 1: But there's three of them, so they connect with three
- 32:22Speaker 1: different types of women, you know what I mean. So
- 32:24Speaker 1: like the girl's like, oh my god, I was a
- 32:25Speaker 1: Joe girl. I was a nick girl. I was a
- 32:27Speaker 1: Kevin girl. There's five of them because Kevin was too
- 32:31Speaker 1: old for us when we were growing up. We're like,
- 32:33Speaker 1: he's drinking.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Legally, that's a man, that's.
- 32:36Speaker 1: A grown man. And then he got married and had
- 32:38Speaker 1: kids like immediately, so I think then we were all
- 32:40Speaker 1: kind of like detached from Kevin. But yeah, I mean,
- 32:43Speaker 1: it's hard to stay that relevant for that long. But
- 32:44Speaker 1: she did it.
- 32:45Speaker 2: There's only been a couple. I mean, the Jonah's brothers
- 32:47Speaker 2: did it. I was just thinking, Justin Bieber, he's done it.
- 32:49Speaker 2: He's kind of gone through a rougher patch of it. Yeah,
- 32:53Speaker 2: Lady Gaga has been one that's been able to stay
- 32:55Speaker 2: like since the late two thousands.
- 32:57Speaker 1: She's very private though, yeah she is. We don't know
- 32:59Speaker 1: a lot about Lady Kaka.
- 33:00Speaker 3: She comes out, she performed.
- 33:01Speaker 2: We also don't know a lot about like another artist
- 33:03Speaker 2: set that we've had since we're kids, like Bruno Mars.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but I think people don't really care that much
- 33:07Speaker 1: about Bruno Mars, but he.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Still sells out arenas well, Like we don't care about
- 33:11Speaker 2: his life.
- 33:11Speaker 1: I think we care about his life the reason we
- 33:13Speaker 1: care about Taylor Swift's life. And I've been trying to
- 33:15Speaker 1: figure out why. I think she resonates more than just
- 33:18Speaker 1: like the average songwriter that's coming out like a Greasy
- 33:20Speaker 1: Abrams or an Olivia Radrigo. And it's funny because I
- 33:24Speaker 1: think Taylor gets really ragged on for her singing voice,
- 33:27Speaker 1: even though she does have a really incredible singing voice
- 33:29Speaker 1: if you heard her live, But she doesn't overly sing
- 33:33Speaker 1: her music like a lot of people think she does.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Like this sing talking type of song, which I guess
- 33:39Speaker 1: maybe she does, but it makes you feel more like
- 33:43Speaker 1: it's poetry and like she's telling you a story rather
- 33:45Speaker 1: than like a Gracy Abrams where sometimes I don't know
- 33:48Speaker 1: what she's saying.
- 33:49Speaker 3: That's a good point.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Does that make sense.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Yes, it's a different type of music.
- 33:52Speaker 1: And it doesn't mean that I don't like Gracy Abrams music.
- 33:54Speaker 1: It just feels more like Taylor's just talking to me.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Ah, maybe that is it.
- 33:58Speaker 2: I mean, I think there's a couple of different because
- 34:00Speaker 2: you got to look at the artists now that are
- 34:02Speaker 2: starting to pop. And what's crazy is some will pop
- 34:04Speaker 2: right now and then they'll die off so soon. But
- 34:06Speaker 2: how has Taylor been able to hold us for this long?
- 34:08Speaker 3: Where it is?
- 34:09Speaker 2: It's bringing us through the story, like everything was so
- 34:12Speaker 2: thought through and delivered that it's and that's why our
- 34:15Speaker 2: shows are so incredible. I haven't been able to go
- 34:17Speaker 2: to as many of you have, but I've gone to one. Yeah,
- 34:19Speaker 2: and I remember it's only been to two. Okay, well, okay,
- 34:22Speaker 2: I wish I would have went to the ones that
- 34:23Speaker 2: you went to, like the Aras tour, Which when did
- 34:25Speaker 2: you go to?
- 34:25Speaker 3: I went to Reputation.
- 34:27Speaker 1: See, that's my biggest one of my biggest regrets in
- 34:29Speaker 1: life is not going to the Reputation Stadium tour.
- 34:31Speaker 2: I wasn't a I was. I mean since I was
- 34:33Speaker 2: a teen, I was a freaking Taylor Swift fan. Like
- 34:35Speaker 2: I liked her country stuff. Yeah, but then I kind
- 34:37Speaker 2: of died off. I didn't listen to pop at all,
- 34:38Speaker 2: but going to that show that showed me a whole
- 34:41Speaker 2: new world of what concerts could be. It's insane, Like
- 34:44Speaker 2: I was up in the three hundreds, my nose was
- 34:46Speaker 2: bleeding and it didn't matter because you were part of
- 34:49Speaker 2: the environment. She had the big ass snake that was
- 34:51Speaker 2: in the middle of the floor, and it just felt
- 34:53Speaker 2: like you're watching this movie that you're a part of.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Those little things, not even I'm sure they're millions.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Of dollars, those big ass Yeah, that's what keeps you
- 35:01Speaker 2: wanting to come back for more. I'm sure people that
- 35:03Speaker 2: went to that show that were like, I'm not even
- 35:05Speaker 2: that big a you are now it's huge. You want
- 35:08Speaker 2: to be a part of it now, But not a
- 35:09Speaker 2: lot of artists are able to pull off that kind
- 35:11Speaker 2: of either that vision or putting that much expense into
- 35:17Speaker 2: a show. Like that's the part that I'm I wish
- 35:20Speaker 2: more artists did because unless you're one artist that I
- 35:23Speaker 2: saw that I didn't need to do anything. Was like
- 35:24Speaker 2: a Cynthia Rivo who did like Wicked, and she was
- 35:27Speaker 2: like she could.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Just sing because the magic is in her voice, Like
- 35:30Speaker 1: you listen to Cynthia Ribo because she has incredible talent
- 35:33Speaker 1: in her voice and she's worked very hard, Whereas like Taylor,
- 35:36Speaker 1: she is a performer in a different way that Beyonce
- 35:39Speaker 1: is a performer, Like you go to Beyonce because you
- 35:41Speaker 1: want to see her dance and like make you feel
- 35:43Speaker 1: a vibe. Taylor's telling you a story, so she does
- 35:46Speaker 1: have to rely more on her dancers and the production,
- 35:48Speaker 1: but it's impactful, just in a different way from other
- 35:51Speaker 1: artists that she's compared to.
- 35:52Speaker 2: And that's why I think people still want to go
- 35:54Speaker 2: to those shows, because you're like, I'm about to be
- 35:55Speaker 2: immersed one hundred percent. Even if I don't like her
- 35:57Speaker 2: music that much, I know I'm going to be entertain.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Well, I was, was I telling you this. I was
- 36:02Speaker 1: telling somebody the other day that I'm like, it's so
- 36:04Speaker 1: crazy to me how much people are determined to be
- 36:07Speaker 1: public about hating Taylor Swift. Yes, because I'm like, she
- 36:10Speaker 1: has so many songs that I'm like, I feel like
- 36:13Speaker 1: that says more about you than Taylor if you can't
- 36:15Speaker 1: find one that you like.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Absolutely, it is the weirdest thing to see where people
- 36:20Speaker 2: would just hate to hate, and they hate because it's popular.
- 36:23Speaker 3: So I mean, but that's always happened.
- 36:25Speaker 1: It's like hating on the Patriots. Correct you hate on
- 36:28Speaker 1: them because they're so good. It's like, oh, I keep
- 36:29Speaker 1: money and it's annoying.
- 36:30Speaker 2: You're so annoying you want to go anti culture. Yeah,
- 36:32Speaker 2: I feel like I'm going to be against the grain,
- 36:34Speaker 2: which if that's you, that's fine.
- 36:36Speaker 3: I think I did it well. I've done it.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Were multiple things we talked about Vine on the show.
- 36:39Speaker 2: I did it for Vine. I was like, I'm not
- 36:40Speaker 2: gonna be a part of Vine. I'm cool for vying.
- 36:42Speaker 2: And then I looked at myself and I was like,
- 36:43Speaker 2: how stupid. And then I did the same thing for TikTok.
- 36:46Speaker 2: I was like, oh, TikTok's gonna die. I'm not gonna
- 36:48Speaker 2: be a bar of Jet and I could have been
- 36:50Speaker 2: an influencer.
- 36:50Speaker 1: You're just denying yourself of enjoyment.
- 36:52Speaker 3: I know.
- 36:53Speaker 2: And that's what's silly about even artists like Okay, if
- 36:55Speaker 2: you're like I don't like her, it's like you said, well,
- 36:58Speaker 2: I'm sure there's one song, one song that you could.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Really connect to. I don't like them all, but damn,
- 37:03Speaker 3: there's a good, good amount that I can get down to.
- 37:06Speaker 1: There's got to be at least one.
- 37:07Speaker 3: With all these albums, all these things.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Do you think, as a swifty there's gonna be any
- 37:10Speaker 2: new music this year versus maybe a re release or
- 37:13Speaker 2: an album or is just like a do you think
- 37:16Speaker 2: it is in Taylor to take a full break.
- 37:18Speaker 1: No, I really don't know what she's planning because we
- 37:22Speaker 1: kind of got thrown off course because we were expecting
- 37:24Speaker 1: her to release her debut album and her reputation album
- 37:28Speaker 1: re released. But I don't know that we're gonna get that.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I don't even know if we're gonna get Vault tracks
- 37:34Speaker 1: because we've been getting Volt tracks from her, so I
- 37:37Speaker 1: really don't know. I know we'll get TS thirteen from
- 37:41Speaker 1: her at some point. What I think will happen is
- 37:43Speaker 1: we will get her thirteenth album and then she's gonna
- 37:46Speaker 1: go away for a little bit. But people are saying
- 37:48Speaker 1: that she's gonna have like this billion dollar residency at
- 37:51Speaker 1: Madison Square Garden.
- 37:53Speaker 3: That would be incredible.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Can you imagine they pay her a billion dollars to
- 37:56Speaker 1: post up at MSG?
- 37:58Speaker 2: That sounds I mean again, she's worked every bit of it,
- 38:00Speaker 2: and it's like that one of those that you can't
- 38:02Speaker 2: even take away from it.
- 38:03Speaker 3: But that sounds incredible.
- 38:04Speaker 1: But I also wonder, and not to be like all patriarchal,
- 38:07Speaker 1: but like or what's the right word. Patriarch is not
- 38:11Speaker 1: the right word, Not to be all heteronormative, but if
- 38:15Speaker 1: she wants kids. She's gonna be thirty seven this year.
- 38:19Speaker 1: It makes you wonder like, is she gonna take a
- 38:21Speaker 1: big break because this might be her only window to
- 38:24Speaker 1: have kids.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Has she ever spoken openly that she wants kids.
- 38:27Speaker 1: She's said it once in a song, but it was
- 38:29Speaker 1: when she was with Oh Yeah. She has said it.
- 38:31Speaker 1: She's a whole song where she's like, I want a
- 38:32Speaker 1: whole block of kids that look like you.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Oh my god. Yeah, like can literally the last album Okay, so.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Yeah, you know you kind of need to do that now.
- 38:39Speaker 1: So it makes me wonder like what is her timeline?
- 38:41Speaker 1: Will she get a surrogate, will she adopt? I don't know.
- 38:45Speaker 2: I mean, luckily nowadays there are so many options, but
- 38:49Speaker 2: that would make the most sense if like, maybe she
- 38:52Speaker 2: puts out one more and it's okay, I'm gonna take
- 38:54Speaker 2: a step back, yeah and just focus on this.
- 38:56Speaker 1: I don't see Taylor Swift doing a surrogate for some reason.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Though only reason I would say she would do a
- 39:02Speaker 1: surrogate is for security reason.
- 39:03Speaker 2: I was just thinking that and of like, you need
- 39:05Speaker 2: to do well security. Well, let me see what security for? Like,
- 39:10Speaker 2: how would why would she need to do security first?
- 39:13Speaker 1: You know you just like he's more vulnerable. Yeah, you
- 39:15Speaker 1: know you're a pregnant lady.
- 39:17Speaker 3: You pregnant. That's true.
- 39:18Speaker 2: And I was thinking, I was like at that level,
- 39:21Speaker 2: and I don't know what other celebrities have done this,
- 39:22Speaker 2: but like, how do you pick a surrogate that's going
- 39:25Speaker 2: to carry your baby, which will be probably the most
- 39:29Speaker 2: popular baby.
- 39:30Speaker 1: I'll literally do it. I'll do it for free on
- 39:34Speaker 1: interrupted access to Taylor Swift for nine months.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Well, I mean I think that.
- 39:40Speaker 1: I'll do it.
- 39:41Speaker 3: I would be very curious.
- 39:43Speaker 1: She might write a song about me. I'll get a
- 39:45Speaker 1: song called Abby. It'll be something like and you helm
- 39:48Speaker 1: my baby and news think you Abby. She'll like find
- 39:53Speaker 1: a way to rearrange Abby and baby. Oh wow, because
- 39:57Speaker 1: Abby and baby use the same.
- 39:58Speaker 3: They do, mix them all up together.
- 40:00Speaker 1: This makes my all love like write.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Letters, see what happens.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Yeah, Taylor, this is me putting it out there. I
- 40:05Speaker 1: will carry your child.
- 40:06Speaker 3: Wow, that is so sweet of you, volunteers tribute.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I just I just and I want to ask
- 40:10Speaker 1: you questions, like I have questions like and I won't
- 40:12Speaker 1: tell anybody because I just want to know for your
- 40:14Speaker 1: own self. Yeah, because I'll have like an ironclad NDA
- 40:16Speaker 1: obviously for the surrogacy thing.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Of course, of course you just happen to disappear for
- 40:20Speaker 3: a while.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Disappear like what happened to you? She just started that
- 40:23Speaker 1: Tampa job.
- 40:23Speaker 3: I know she disappeared for nine months.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Yeah, all I'll say was a one night stand. It'll
- 40:27Speaker 1: be fine.
- 40:27Speaker 2: What do you think would be the first thing that
- 40:28Speaker 2: you'd want to know from her? Because obviously there's a lot.
- 40:30Speaker 1: There's so much I want to know.
- 40:33Speaker 3: You know what I was over, you know what I
- 40:35Speaker 3: was thinking.
- 40:36Speaker 1: About yesterday is she has this song called Question that
- 40:40Speaker 1: it's like an inside joke with all the Swifties, is like,
- 40:42Speaker 1: we don't understand what the fuck it means, like we
- 40:44Speaker 1: it just it. There is no I think it's like
- 40:47Speaker 1: one big inside insider knowledge song, Like she's talking specifically
- 40:52Speaker 1: to one person and only that person understands what question
- 40:55Speaker 1: she's asking. Oh, it's so random, it's like can I
- 40:58Speaker 1: ask The lyrics are can I ask you a question?
- 41:00Speaker 1: Have you ever? I don't even I don't listen to
- 41:02Speaker 1: the song, So actually question have you ever?
- 41:06Speaker 3: Sung?
- 41:07Speaker 1: In a crowning room?
- 41:08Speaker 3: You just want to know every single one of your.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Friends were making fun of you, and fifteen seconds later
- 41:13Speaker 1: they were clapping to like, what does that even mean?
- 41:15Speaker 1: Why are they? Why were they in front of you?
- 41:16Speaker 1: And then why were they clapping?
- 41:17Speaker 3: I wonder if she was talking to her younger self.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I think she was, no, no, no, I think she's talking
- 41:22Speaker 1: to Matty Heally. Oh, I think she was talking to
- 41:24Speaker 1: Matti Heally.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Oh that's rough, Okay, Yeah, so I think that would
- 41:28Speaker 2: be a valid one on what the songs mean.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I want to know why Kelly Telllor wasn't at the wedding.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Kelly Taylor was a close friend of hers. I want
- 41:34Speaker 1: to know what was the last straw with you in
- 41:36Speaker 1: Blake Lively? Was it the text messages or has this
- 41:38Speaker 1: been growing resentment for a.
- 41:40Speaker 2: While Because I did see obviously, I mean, at least
- 41:44Speaker 2: what I saw, it's like they were not at the wedding,
- 41:46Speaker 2: like so that was for sure because I thought when
- 41:49Speaker 2: that was all happening, I was like, Okay, this is
- 41:51Speaker 2: just some little gossip online that they're like beef and
- 41:55Speaker 2: it looks like that was legit.
- 41:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it was legit, legit, legit.
- 41:59Speaker 1: I would like to know, Oh, who is there somebody
- 42:04Speaker 1: that you've dated that the public never found out about
- 42:06Speaker 1: Oh that's good.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Oh.
- 42:07Speaker 1: You want to know what really pissed me off is
- 42:09Speaker 1: we totally the Birch Show totally would have interviewed Taylor
- 42:12Speaker 1: Swift if he hadn't retired, because somebody else in our
- 42:16Speaker 1: company got to interview Taylor for Life of a show Girl.
- 42:18Speaker 1: And I have so many questions about that album.
- 42:21Speaker 3: What the heck? Who in the company did somebody else?
- 42:23Speaker 1: I'm not hating on them, no, yeah, I'm glad they
- 42:25Speaker 1: got to interview and that's so great. I just wish
- 42:27Speaker 1: I would have gotten it.
- 42:28Speaker 3: That would have been insane.
- 42:29Speaker 2: I think that would have been like there's a couple
- 42:31Speaker 2: of celebrities that if you meet, it almost becomes unbearable. Yeah,
- 42:35Speaker 2: do you think you'd be would have been able to
- 42:37Speaker 2: contain yourself.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I would have held it together well, and then I
- 42:39Speaker 1: would have broke down crying after the interview. But think
- 42:42Speaker 1: of the content. That would have been such good content
- 42:43Speaker 1: Lifelong Swifty gets to interview Taylor.
- 42:47Speaker 2: I don't know, Like I didn't think I was going
- 42:49Speaker 2: to react the way I was going to react when
- 42:51Speaker 2: I saw celebrities that I truly appreciate.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Who's the one that made you break down?
- 42:54Speaker 2: The most Well this is gonna sound so I think
- 42:56Speaker 2: I told you about this one. Like I met a
- 42:58Speaker 2: radio host that like, I didn't break down, but I
- 43:00Speaker 2: like lost it.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I know you're talking about Yeah.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Like I like I met that radio host and I
- 43:05Speaker 2: was like, I don't know, I listened for years, and
- 43:07Speaker 2: I like lost it his co host.
- 43:08Speaker 1: I said something stupid in front of Oh did you yeah,
- 43:11Speaker 1: something so dumb. We were at morning show boot camp
- 43:13Speaker 1: a couple of years ago, was my first year there,
- 43:15Speaker 1: and I think I said something about, like, yeah, I
- 43:17Speaker 1: get a lot of weird dms from old men. Turns
- 43:20Speaker 1: out I'm not really popular with the fifty five year
- 43:22Speaker 1: old man crowd. Something like that.
- 43:25Speaker 3: How did she react? You just look at you.
- 43:27Speaker 1: She's like, okay, weirdo. She didn't care. But I thought
- 43:30Speaker 1: it was so cool because I'm like, ooh, I'm talking
- 43:31Speaker 1: to like the like everybody here wants to talk to
- 43:33Speaker 1: them because they're.
- 43:34Speaker 3: Like the bigger yeah, one of the biggest shows, and
- 43:36Speaker 3: like they're.
- 43:36Speaker 1: One of the bigger shows in the country, and I'm
- 43:38Speaker 1: I'm just having a casual conversation with this girl. I
- 43:40Speaker 1: must be cool. Maybe just lemon mouth.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Anyway, that's how I am, not like when I go
- 43:44Speaker 2: back because they do these radio conferences and every now
- 43:46Speaker 2: and then, you know, they show up.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Now it's been more casual.
- 43:50Speaker 2: But the first time, I literally I ran across the
- 43:52Speaker 2: room like you walked by, and I was like, oh
- 43:54Speaker 2: my god, that's how I say, like if you saw
- 43:57Speaker 2: Taylor Swift, like I think in my head, I thought, oh,
- 43:59Speaker 2: it'd be cool, like I knew he was there, would
- 44:00Speaker 2: be cool cool, And then the opportunity came and my
- 44:02Speaker 2: body went, no, forget all like levels of being normal.
- 44:05Speaker 2: You're gonna chase him down before he gets on the elevator,
- 44:08Speaker 2: and you're gonna tell him how much he means to
- 44:09Speaker 2: you and that you love him, and you listen to
- 44:10Speaker 2: him since you're sixteen.
- 44:11Speaker 1: And he was like, okay, read out bye. Yeah.
- 44:13Speaker 3: Luckily it was cool.
- 44:14Speaker 2: He gave me a hug and he was like, all right,
- 44:16Speaker 2: that man, come here, come here. I was like, that's
- 44:18Speaker 2: why he did that. I couldn't even get my words together. Yeah,
- 44:20Speaker 2: but I think the only other celebrity that would do
- 44:22Speaker 2: that because luckily with this job, like you've been able
- 44:25Speaker 2: to meet a couple fans or a.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Couple like cool artists.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Nobody's really been like crazy crazy, but if I met
- 44:32Speaker 2: like the Rock, I would lose it.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Why the wrong?
- 44:34Speaker 3: I don't know. I just like the way the dude is.
- 44:35Speaker 2: I think he's just a cool, down to earth, super rich,
- 44:38Speaker 2: super buff guy. Okay, And I'm like that would be cool,
- 44:41Speaker 2: Like I'd like to shake the Rock sand or rub
- 44:43Speaker 2: his bald head.
- 44:44Speaker 1: You know, it's not where I thought you were going
- 44:45Speaker 1: with that sentence For a second. She just paused way
- 44:49Speaker 1: too long on that.
- 44:49Speaker 3: I would like to get a workout in with the Rock.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Like he carries around a gym, a portable gym, whenever
- 44:55Speaker 2: he travels.
- 44:55Speaker 3: It's the craziest thing. And in my head, I think
- 44:57Speaker 3: that's the coolest thing.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure like Taylor has a stew anywhere she goes,
- 45:01Speaker 2: like The Rock has a gym, And in my head,
- 45:02Speaker 2: I'm like, I want to work out in that gym.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Oh okay, Like that's my weird thing. You know, there's
- 45:07Speaker 2: like only a few that would make that happen. But
- 45:09Speaker 2: for the rest, we've had some cool artist step in here,
- 45:12Speaker 2: go out to their festivals and talk to them.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Yeh.
- 45:14Speaker 2: I think it's just kind of cool, kind of casual. Yeah,
- 45:17Speaker 2: everyone's been very nice, very normal for the most part,
- 45:21Speaker 2: extremely human, very human, Like I think that's the biggest thing.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Where it's like you see these larger than life figures
- 45:26Speaker 2: online on stage and then you get with them and
- 45:29Speaker 2: you're like, oh, you're just You're just normal.
- 45:32Speaker 1: I know it is scary. Like I don't know that
- 45:35Speaker 1: I would ever want to meet Taylor Swift.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Hmmm.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I don't know if it would ruin it for me.
- 45:40Speaker 2: I I literally the first thing that I came up.
- 45:43Speaker 2: I think she's actually would be better than you could imagine. Really,
- 45:46Speaker 2: that's how I imagine Taylor because she just seems like a
- 45:48Speaker 2: but I.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Wouldn't want to put that pressure on her. I'm like,
- 45:50Speaker 1: just be you, girl.
- 45:51Speaker 2: I think she would come in and be extremely friendly,
- 45:54Speaker 2: extremely light, and extremely welcoming. She for sure would be
- 45:57Speaker 2: like it's just so warm where you're like wow, like
- 46:00Speaker 2: you deserve twin.
- 46:01Speaker 3: I'm glad you did. That's what it's always given.
- 46:04Speaker 2: And I think that's what I've always heard from people
- 46:05Speaker 2: that have metter like you know our bosses better.
- 46:08Speaker 1: I know, and so everyone is better except for me.
- 46:12Speaker 3: But it is true.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Though, like it is better sometimes to not meet the
- 46:14Speaker 2: people that you truly look up to, because then that
- 46:17Speaker 2: illusion goes down. Yeah, that's like in a weird long
- 46:23Speaker 2: stretch all the way down to us common. Sometimes I worry, like,
- 46:29Speaker 2: oh my god, if somebody meets me and I'm like,
- 46:31Speaker 2: I wonder.
- 46:32Speaker 1: What their thought is. Yeah, Like it's like, oh my.
- 46:34Speaker 2: God, I've listened to you since you were in college,
- 46:36Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh my god, that's awesome. Like, I
- 46:38Speaker 2: hope I live up to whatever the expectation is. The
- 46:41Speaker 2: only thing I've heard that has gone against that has
- 46:43Speaker 2: been like and this has happened weirdly frequently this year
- 46:46Speaker 2: as I'm not as tall as people think I am.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Okay, and not one time.
- 46:49Speaker 1: But people always want to say that because I get
- 46:52Speaker 1: that too, Like it's always a common about your height
- 46:54Speaker 1: and people think I look taller than I actually am. See,
- 46:59Speaker 1: I think we both get the same thing. I think
- 47:00Speaker 1: we both just know how to pose.
- 47:03Speaker 3: I'd never say I know how to I don't know
- 47:05Speaker 3: what to do with my hands or my arms, because
- 47:07Speaker 3: guys on.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Dating apps we'll say that to me too. They're like,
- 47:09Speaker 1: you look like you're like six feet tall. I'm like, okay,
- 47:10Speaker 1: well I'm not.
- 47:12Speaker 3: No, so that's what I don't know how to respond.
- 47:14Speaker 2: They're like, oh my god, you're shorter than I thought
- 47:16Speaker 2: you were.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Like, well, well, it's good you don't give short I
- 47:22Speaker 1: don't have. That should make you feel good.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Small energy, I guess that would be the same in
- 47:26Speaker 2: that rate. Yet, Well, if you do want an opportunity,
- 47:28Speaker 2: and I said this in the last podcast, I'll say
- 47:29Speaker 2: it again. Just to make sure that we're living congruently
- 47:31Speaker 2: with our what we're doing here on the show, you
- 47:33Speaker 2: could meet us and see how non tall we are.
- 47:36Speaker 2: We are doing Scotty and Abbey Live. That's going to
- 47:38Speaker 2: be coming here first. So if you are in the
- 47:41Speaker 2: Tampa area and you're like, wait a second, that sounds
- 47:43Speaker 2: like there are some seats available, you just got to
- 47:45Speaker 2: get on the list that's up on our website, Mymagic
- 47:48Speaker 2: ninety four nine dot com.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Abby any closing remarks, I can go to see if
- 47:52Speaker 3: we have any new comments.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, my closing remarks are that I'm regretting the
- 47:57Speaker 1: song to eat my yogurt is my stomach is eating
- 48:01Speaker 1: itself from the inside out. Oh. Also controversial for people
- 48:03Speaker 1: who've been following my Chobani journey. I think I'm gonna
- 48:06Speaker 1: switch from chobanni to unsweetened.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Why why are you gonna switch?
- 48:12Speaker 1: I'm starting to wonder if maybe artificial sweeteners are worse
- 48:16Speaker 1: for you than what science says.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Oh you think, Oh, I mean anything that is genetically
- 48:23Speaker 2: create or I don't know.
- 48:23Speaker 1: It's setically modified.
- 48:25Speaker 3: Yeah, like it probably.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Should raise a magnifying glass to it. Probably your body
- 48:28Speaker 2: wasn't necessarily designed to deal with that.
- 48:31Speaker 1: So I think for like a week, obviously not starting
- 48:34Speaker 1: until next week because I'm going on vacation next week.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you don't want to, I am going to
- 48:40Speaker 1: experiment with unsweetened.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Wow.
- 48:44Speaker 1: I know this is real character growth through me kids.
- 48:48Speaker 2: This is huge, gibbon. I'll tell you what though. So far, honestly,
- 48:51Speaker 2: you have great recommendations.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Listen, I'm a taste maker.
- 48:54Speaker 2: You well, i'd say you have good taste in some
- 48:58Speaker 2: areas chobani else.
- 49:00Speaker 1: So that's that's being a chaste maker.
- 49:01Speaker 2: Okay, well, okay, I don't want to give you too
- 49:03Speaker 2: much credit because then you come in here and you
- 49:04Speaker 2: can't fit through the you know, the door with your
- 49:06Speaker 2: head too big.
- 49:07Speaker 3: But your bonny yogurt was a win. That was great.
- 49:10Speaker 3: The show off campus was great.
- 49:12Speaker 1: So good funny side tangent for those who love off campus.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Or we were in a sales meeting yesterday where literally
- 49:18Speaker 1: are She's Mel's got to be like what in her
- 49:21Speaker 1: forties fifties, She's obsessed with Belmont Cocmelly. She's like, we're
- 49:25Speaker 1: gonna pay to bring him down.
- 49:26Speaker 3: And you know what's cool is like she will make that.
- 49:28Speaker 1: That's the thing is like, if anybody in here can
- 49:30Speaker 1: make it happen, Mel's going to make it happen. So
- 49:32Speaker 1: when you see a photo of me making out with
- 49:35Speaker 1: Belmont Cocmelly, no, no, it was one of our salespeople
- 49:38Speaker 1: that made it happen. Well, I think he still has
- 49:39Speaker 1: a girlfriend. Never mind. I don't want to wish Ill
- 49:41Speaker 1: will and their relationship, but I hope they I hope
- 49:44Speaker 1: they're just they have an open relationship.
- 49:46Speaker 3: And maybe she's allowing them to make out with fans.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Yeah, let him have a whole pass with his fans.
- 49:50Speaker 3: Othing do one.
- 49:52Speaker 1: For the team. Okay, we're paying your bills.
- 49:54Speaker 3: God just making out with all these strangers.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Here's a message you got from yesterday's podcaster Won a
- 49:59Speaker 2: few days ago about oh okay, about your brother's wedding.
- 50:03Speaker 2: So talking about the things that are actually worth the money,
- 50:05Speaker 2: Deborah says got married oh earlier this year, and I
- 50:07Speaker 2: will say a million times that doing an all inclusive
- 50:11Speaker 2: venue is one hundred times worth the money for no stress.
- 50:15Speaker 2: They have people that set up, take down, and family
- 50:18Speaker 2: friends can legit, just chill and.
- 50:20Speaker 3: Enjoy the day with you. That was a non negotiable
- 50:23Speaker 3: for me.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Well, Deborah, congratulations on your nuptials. But that's exactly how
- 50:26Speaker 1: I feel. It's like I do if I have to
- 50:28Speaker 1: pitch in for the wedding, I just don't want my
- 50:31Speaker 1: wedding to stress people out because no matter what, my
- 50:33Speaker 1: wedding's gonna make people hate me because it's an obligation.
- 50:37Speaker 1: And I think obligations just you know what I mean, Like,
- 50:39Speaker 1: just no matter what all I gotta do for as,
- 50:41Speaker 1: it's a thing you have to do, and so naturally
- 50:44Speaker 1: there's gonna be some Oh, it's an obligation. So when
- 50:47Speaker 1: you get there, I just wanted to feel like vacation.
- 50:50Speaker 3: See that's a beautiful way to look at it. And
- 50:51Speaker 3: it's hard.
- 50:52Speaker 2: If you do have the money and you can make
- 50:54Speaker 2: it happen, it sounds like it is worth it. Because
- 50:56Speaker 2: then everyone could truly treat the day as the celebration
- 50:59Speaker 2: that it was meant to be. Yeah, instead of walking
- 51:00Speaker 2: in and now you gotta set up the flowers, make
- 51:03Speaker 2: the goodie bags, take down.
- 51:05Speaker 1: Put up, and nobody's getting a goodie bag. Nobody, nobody
- 51:09Speaker 1: ads for you. And you know what, nobody cares. They
- 51:11Speaker 1: want an open bar, and they want air conditioning, and
- 51:13Speaker 1: they want easy access to the reception.
- 51:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that's it.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Like good drinks, good food, good people, and good songs.
- 51:20Speaker 3: Uh, that's a win win win.
- 51:21Speaker 1: And listen, we already know I'm a taste maker. Will
- 51:24Speaker 1: my wedding be the most expensive, beautiful magical thing ever?
- 51:27Speaker 1: Probably not? But will it be a damn good time? Absolutely?
