- 1:01Speaker 1: Heather MacDonald. Juicy Scoop. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 1:08Speaker 1: What a weekend. Well, first of all, Kanye got married. Yes,
- 1:14Speaker 1: Kanye West is married. He got married to this very
- 1:17Speaker 1: pretty girl that I guess worked for his company for
- 1:21Speaker 1: a while. So people are like, he married his work wife.
- 1:23Speaker 1: It was very quick. People don't know anything about the
- 1:26Speaker 1: ceremony or anything. But the girl in this one outfit
- 1:31Speaker 1: that page six highlighted, she looked very much with her
- 1:34Speaker 1: hair back and her big sunglasses, very much like Kim
- 1:38Speaker 1: Kardashian at one time. So anyway, I get a lot
- 1:44Speaker 1: of info from page six. I like them. And I said,
- 1:46Speaker 1: and people were already comparing that she looked like Kim.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And I think they chose a photo that was a
- 1:53Speaker 1: very Kim Kardashian outfit for that reason. He certainly has
- 1:57Speaker 1: a type. And in this case, marrying her, not Julia Fox,
- 2:01Speaker 1: but this girl. And so I wrote, oh, it's Kim
- 2:06Speaker 1: before Ozempic. I am not body shaming this girl. I'm
- 2:12Speaker 1: not body shaming Kim. I'm not body shaming anybody that
- 2:16Speaker 1: chooses to take Ozempic, doesn't take it, takes a knockoff
- 2:20Speaker 1: of it, wants to try it. It appears to be
- 2:22Speaker 1: a miracle drug. A lot of people are on it.
- 2:26Speaker 1: And I'm just stating the truth. So whatever. But thank you,
- 2:31Speaker 1: Page Six. You chose a pretty photo of me. And
- 2:34Speaker 1: then a lot of people said I was a bitch
- 2:36Speaker 1: for saying it. So whatever. Who cares? Okay. Chris Harrison,
- 2:40Speaker 1: the most dramatic podcast ever. It's a great name to
- 2:43Speaker 1: his podcast. Chris Harrison, as you recall, was the host
- 2:47Speaker 1: of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette for 19 years or 19.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I think it's years, not seasons. Anyway, so I was
- 2:54Speaker 1: listening to it today because I was really invested in
- 2:57Speaker 1: the scandal. Let me remind you of the scandal because
- 3:00Speaker 1: it's been now a couple of years. In the height
- 3:04Speaker 1: of the 2020, you know, COVID, everything going on, George Floyd,
- 3:12Speaker 1: Black Lives Matter, all of that happening, we were watching
- 3:18Speaker 1: our first Black bachelor, Matt James, fall in love with
- 3:23Speaker 1: appeared to be a couple people, but this one girl, Rachel,
- 3:26Speaker 1: she was, appeared to be the one he liked the most.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And she was a very pretty girl with dark hair,
- 3:32Speaker 1: and she was Caucasian. She was white, okay? And Matt is,
- 3:37Speaker 1: his mom's white, his dad is black, okay? So we're
- 3:40Speaker 1: watching it. It's a popular season. And Chris Harrison goes
- 3:46Speaker 1: on Rachel Lindsay, who was a former bachelor. I don't
- 3:50Speaker 1: know if she was the she was the bachelorette. OK,
- 3:52Speaker 1: so she was she went through as one of the
- 3:56Speaker 1: contestants on The Bachelor became the bachelorette. She had a
- 4:00Speaker 1: great show. She's interviewing. She's doing great. They talk and
- 4:04Speaker 1: she asked them about this controversy that that someone had
- 4:06Speaker 1: discovered on TikTok that the other Rachel, who's in love
- 4:11Speaker 1: with Matt James. that when she was a freshman in college,
- 4:15Speaker 1: she went to a party and the party was a
- 4:19Speaker 1: frat party in which the guys invite the girls and
- 4:23Speaker 1: it was a Madame Antabella party, which is an era
- 4:29Speaker 1: of time pre-Civil War and you're to dress like that.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Easiest way to say it, gone with the wind attire.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So of course that's problematic because no one should be
- 4:39Speaker 1: celebrating a time where you know, Americans were enslaved. So
- 4:44Speaker 1: like totally, but he comes on the, on the thing
- 4:49Speaker 1: and he starts to sort of defend her. She's, you know,
- 4:52Speaker 1: a young girl. She's a nice girl. This is what
- 4:54Speaker 1: I'm recalling. Okay. I don't want to go back and
- 4:56Speaker 1: watch it, but he is kind of saying that. And
- 5:00Speaker 1: I always thought, It's probably because he knows the final
- 5:03Speaker 1: result is that they end up together. And he probably
- 5:05Speaker 1: thinks he's being a great company guy in protecting this
- 5:09Speaker 1: relationship because right now people are like, he should break
- 5:12Speaker 1: up with this girl. How could she have gone to
- 5:15Speaker 1: this party? Why didn't she research it? There's photos of
- 5:18Speaker 1: her at this fraternity sorority party like this. And he
- 5:21Speaker 1: was just sort of defending it. And in defending it,
- 5:23Speaker 1: he like doubled down. It went on for really long.
- 5:26Speaker 1: And he used like woke culture and stuff, which the
- 5:29Speaker 1: only people that use the word woke are people that
- 5:33Speaker 1: people think are actually not woke. So they were coming
- 5:37Speaker 1: for him. And there you go. So it really didn't
- 5:42Speaker 1: go away. And he thought he was going to be fine.
- 5:44Speaker 1: And then they let him go. And then he, in
- 5:48Speaker 1: his own words, like lawyered up. He got a nice
- 5:51Speaker 1: big paycheck, as he should. And now he's back with
- 5:55Speaker 1: what everybody does when they get fired from TV, have
- 5:57Speaker 1: a podcast, And he even joked about that. Like I
- 6:00Speaker 1: didn't want to be another loser. That's my word from
- 6:05Speaker 1: the bachelor franchise, having a podcast on I heart, but
- 6:08Speaker 1: I am. And so anyway, so I listened and you know,
- 6:10Speaker 1: he's very articulate. He's a really nice guy. He's engaged
- 6:14Speaker 1: to his fiance. Who's also a reporter who actually reported,
- 6:18Speaker 1: did a story on me once. She's very nice. They're
- 6:21Speaker 1: a lovely couple. He is. What I know is great
- 6:23Speaker 1: relationship with his ex wife, greatly relationship with his kids,
- 6:26Speaker 1: all that. So I'm listening to it. And, Now I've listened,
- 6:30Speaker 1: there's three episodes out. I listened to the first one
- 6:33Speaker 1: and the second one, I skipped over to the third. Okay.
- 6:35Speaker 1: The second one was with his fiance. But what I
- 6:39Speaker 1: got from the first is he didn't explain what it was.
- 6:42Speaker 1: He didn't explain why he did it. He just continued
- 6:46Speaker 1: to profusely apologize forever, even doing, saying whatever he said,
- 6:51Speaker 1: if he hurt anybody and dah, dah, dah. And so
- 6:53Speaker 1: that's where I'm just like, I want to know. How
- 6:57Speaker 1: do you feel now that Matt James and this Rachel
- 7:00Speaker 1: girl have this very popular Instagram, they're madly in love,
- 7:06Speaker 1: when at the time after he was fired, they did
- 7:10Speaker 1: an After the Rose with another host. And Matt James
- 7:13Speaker 1: wouldn't even look at Rachel. Like he was like, the
- 7:16Speaker 1: guy was like, could you give her a hug? And
- 7:19Speaker 1: he was just like, no. And, you know, which now
- 7:22Speaker 1: I kind of wonder, were they seeing each other the
- 7:24Speaker 1: whole time? And if they were, good. This is one
- 7:27Speaker 1: of the few bachelor relationships that are still working. And.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I felt like, why aren't people talking more about that now?
- 7:35Speaker 1: Like the fact that they're still together and the fact
- 7:38Speaker 1: that so many people in Bachelor Nation were not for
- 7:41Speaker 1: this relationship working out based on his interview, based on
- 7:47Speaker 1: the party she went to when she was 18, all
- 7:50Speaker 1: of it. And, you know, now the two of them
- 7:52Speaker 1: are just, you know, they've been like this for a
- 7:54Speaker 1: year and a half. They're probably going to get engaged.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I don't think they're engaged. I don't know. So then
- 7:59Speaker 1: he also brought up everybody wanted my job. And I
- 8:04Speaker 1: and basically, you know, every season I was like birthing
- 8:08Speaker 1: another 30 people that are probably qualified to take my
- 8:12Speaker 1: job being a host of this show. And so I
- 8:15Speaker 1: guess people assumed he was talking about Nick Viall, which
- 8:18Speaker 1: I had said even before Chris Harrison, you know, was
- 8:21Speaker 1: asked to leave that I'm like, They're even letting Nick
- 8:26Speaker 1: do little portions where he's like, hey, guys, you know,
- 8:29Speaker 1: as The Bachelor, he was like doing spots that would
- 8:32Speaker 1: normally be Chris Harrison. So he's like, no, he was delight.
- 8:37Speaker 1: He was great. And I think it put him in
- 8:39Speaker 1: a weird position because he was going to ask his.
- 8:43Speaker 1: girlfriend to marry him. So this weekend, he did a
- 8:47Speaker 1: huge video, great quality video for his Instagram and everything,
- 8:53Speaker 1: which why not? My God, if I could only get
- 8:57Speaker 1: engaged or give birth today, the amount of likes and
- 9:01Speaker 1: views I could get. Anyway, they got engaged, he and
- 9:06Speaker 1: his girlfriend, and he's crying and he looks nice and
- 9:10Speaker 1: she's drop dead gorgeous. And anyway, so he's like, So
- 9:12Speaker 1: I congratulated him. That's that. So that's my opinion. I
- 9:16Speaker 1: would just like to really know, how do you feel now?
- 9:18Speaker 1: Do you talk to Matt James and Rachel? Did Rachel
- 9:21Speaker 1: ever say, my God, you didn't have to defend me.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I can't believe you defended me and my dumbness at 18.
- 9:28Speaker 1: And this was the result. Like you lost like who
- 9:32Speaker 1: knows how much money. So I hope in the future,
- 9:35Speaker 1: maybe he has her on. If Chris Harrison wants to
- 9:40Speaker 1: come on my show and answer those questions, then I
- 9:42Speaker 1: think we could get a real juicy, most dramatic episode ever.
- 9:46Speaker 1: But good luck to him. I think he's a really
- 9:48Speaker 1: nice guy. He's really talented. Hopefully he'll do other things.
- 9:51Speaker 1: He did suggest, he said, I'm going to jump over to... OK,
- 9:57Speaker 1: he did bring up that in case you guys didn't know,
- 10:01Speaker 1: Amy and TJ of Good Morning America. Now they have
- 10:05Speaker 1: both been officially released from their duties as co-hosts. And
- 10:09Speaker 1: Chris Harrison said, I'm suggesting Good Morning America that I
- 10:13Speaker 1: do a sit down with them and that you shouldn't
- 10:16Speaker 1: let them go. And that, you know, and they are
- 10:19Speaker 1: lawyering up. And he goes, and I have a great
- 10:21Speaker 1: lawyer because, of course, Good Morning America is ABC and
- 10:24Speaker 1: who is very familiar with who you're going up against
- 10:26Speaker 1: and like, let me give you this referral. And he's like,
- 10:29Speaker 1: they absolutely should lawyer. And I agree, like everybody should
- 10:33Speaker 1: when you're in that position. Why not? Well, get your
- 10:35Speaker 1: big chunk of money because, you know, until you and
- 10:38Speaker 1: TJ do a podcast together, you're probably not going to
- 10:41Speaker 1: get any more work. But what I think is going
- 10:45Speaker 1: in Good Morning America's head of why they have to
- 10:48Speaker 1: let them go is not only were they both married,
- 10:52Speaker 1: having an affair, Not only did TJ have an affair
- 10:54Speaker 1: with another married female producer there, there's stories of him
- 10:59Speaker 1: having infidelity in his first marriage. She's been married twice.
- 11:03Speaker 1: He's been married twice. So they're both getting divorced for
- 11:05Speaker 1: the second time. If they put them on together, if
- 11:10Speaker 1: I was there, I'd be like, what's the chance that
- 11:12Speaker 1: they're going to be together doing this show, get married
- 11:15Speaker 1: and be a happily faithful couple to each other, which
- 11:20Speaker 1: is what Good Morning America needs to For the next,
- 11:23Speaker 1: till they're 75 years old, what truly are the chances?
- 11:27Speaker 1: So if we endorse this relationship that was sparked out
- 11:32Speaker 1: of infidelity on our set and really endorse it, I
- 11:37Speaker 1: don't think it's worth it for the morality of the
- 11:40Speaker 1: people that watch our show. So even if they have
- 11:43Speaker 1: to pay them five, $ 10 million each, they probably think
- 11:45Speaker 1: it's worth it. That's just my opinion. Andrew Hsu, I guess,
- 11:49Speaker 1: ran into Amy on the street and we were lucky
- 11:52Speaker 1: enough to get a photo of this. Thank you, page six.
- 11:54Speaker 1: He had a little dog. Anyway, so they are leaving. Okay.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Also on my weekend. So it was a rainy weekend
- 12:04Speaker 1: here in LA. It was going to rain all day Saturday.
- 12:07Speaker 1: So I'm like, my girlfriend wanted to go shopping, go
- 12:10Speaker 1: to the polo lounge. I I go, I don't even
- 12:12Speaker 1: want to deal with the rain, but I will go
- 12:14Speaker 1: out Friday night. So I called my local girlfriend, Liz Roman. Okay.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Liz Kilman Roman, been my friend since first grade and
- 12:22Speaker 1: her sister, Rosie, met Rosie when she was four. They
- 12:25Speaker 1: live in the area. What are you guys doing? I
- 12:28Speaker 1: look cute from the day because I'd done KTLA and
- 12:31Speaker 1: I'd like to not waste these lashes because the rest
- 12:33Speaker 1: of the weekend I plan on being a gross slob
- 12:36Speaker 1: in my house. Okay. So She's like, oh, I want
- 12:39Speaker 1: to go to this antique-y thing. So we looked at
- 12:41Speaker 1: these antique stuff. We got a little bite to eat.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Now it's like six o'clock. And I'm like, well, I
- 12:50Speaker 1: think we should go somewhere else. I always like Joey's.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Joey's is closer to my house. It's in Woodland Hills.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I've talked about Joey's all the time. I've gone to
- 12:59Speaker 1: birthdays there. I like the vibe of it. You walk in.
- 13:02Speaker 1: If there's any wait, you get a free glass of champagne.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I really like it. And they were like, no, where
- 13:09Speaker 1: we have to go is Lovey's in Calabasas. And I'm like,
- 13:14Speaker 1: isn't that like an old person like deli? She's like,
- 13:16Speaker 1: have you never been to the happy hour? It's an
- 13:19Speaker 1: amazing happy hour. And you get this enormous, enormous chicken
- 13:24Speaker 1: pot pie. For a third of the price at the
- 13:27Speaker 1: happy hour in the bar than you would pay in
- 13:30Speaker 1: the deli part of the restaurant the exact same time. Now,
- 13:33Speaker 1: they'll probably have to cancel this situation because now I've
- 13:36Speaker 1: revealed it. These are two girls that are a family
- 13:39Speaker 1: of eight, Irish Catholic as well. So we all know
- 13:42Speaker 1: a deal on a rainy day. And I'm like, well,
- 13:45Speaker 1: you can't pass up that. Now, you guys must know
- 13:49Speaker 1: what I woke up to on Saturday afternoon. Britney Spears
- 13:57Speaker 1: went to Joey's in Woodland Hills Friday night with Sam
- 14:02Speaker 1: and her bodyguard. So TMZ is reporting she had a
- 14:06Speaker 1: manic episode. The video is not that much to say.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I think she sat down. Of course, people are filming her.
- 14:14Speaker 1: People think she is a juicy scooper. Me saying, why
- 14:17Speaker 1: don't you go out? Why can't we see you? I
- 14:19Speaker 1: don't blame people in this day and age to whip
- 14:22Speaker 1: out their phone and just film her just to prove
- 14:24Speaker 1: that she's out. She didn't like that. She lifted up
- 14:27Speaker 1: her menu. And I can imagine what that would be like.
- 14:30Speaker 1: According to TMZ, who got it from the witnesses, Sam
- 14:35Speaker 1: stormed out and left. And then she left as well.
- 14:38Speaker 1: And the bodyguard came back and paid. So I don't
- 14:40Speaker 1: know what they ordered. She then did a post of
- 14:44Speaker 1: her dancing around in this outfit, of her dancing and
- 14:48Speaker 1: flipping off the camera. And she writes this long thing,
- 14:50Speaker 1: which then was shortly later removed. Now, where she's dancing...
- 14:56Speaker 1: We've seen a lot of videos come from this spot.
- 14:58Speaker 1: It looks very much like a hotel room. Well, the
- 15:00Speaker 1: sleuths have done it. It looks to be this place
- 15:03Speaker 1: in Maui that she often stays at. The carpet match,
- 15:07Speaker 1: the closet doors match. So that tells me these are
- 15:10Speaker 1: videos that she's done and danced and flipped off and stuff.
- 15:13Speaker 1: And whether she put it on after Joey's or somebody else,
- 15:16Speaker 1: she didn't fly to Maui after she left Joey's to
- 15:20Speaker 1: do this video. She has an arsenal of these things.
- 15:25Speaker 1: But what she wrote, which I thought was really interesting,
- 15:28Speaker 1: is she said, she talks about the restaurant. It's funny.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Somebody said I acted manic at a restaurant. Geez, all
- 15:34Speaker 1: I can say is I was flattered. The waiter brought
- 15:36Speaker 1: me a sophisticated champagne glass for my Red Bull. Now,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I said they give you a free champagne when you
- 15:42Speaker 1: walk in. So I don't really know. I'm fancy, y'all. Oh, well,
- 15:46Speaker 1: I'm remodeling this remodeling, meaning modeling it again. this white
- 15:50Speaker 1: dress because, well, it's kind of cool. I'm bored as
- 15:52Speaker 1: hell anyway. So we know that this was shot some,
- 15:57Speaker 1: you know, who knows when, months ago. Anyway, then she says,
- 16:03Speaker 1: and I remember the transparent way the girl at my
- 16:06Speaker 1: wedding danced her way to my man, putting her hands
- 16:10Speaker 1: on his knee, then raising her hand to her neck
- 16:14Speaker 1: with a heart. Guess it must be a new thing.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I'd like to salute with my ass and my middle
- 16:20Speaker 1: finger to this new thing and say sup, FCP. P.S.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Would it be appropriate for me to put it in
- 16:28Speaker 1: her man's face on her day? Damn, I won't put
- 16:31Speaker 1: my hand on his leg. I might be a cat end.
- 16:35Speaker 1: So very, very strange. Now, there are a lot of
- 16:39Speaker 1: conspiracy theories about Britney. A lot of people are really
- 16:44Speaker 1: analyzing her wedding day video. They think it's a body double.
- 16:49Speaker 1: They've gone by with AI. They've like done this thing
- 16:52Speaker 1: where they're like, look at her face when you do this.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I don't know. It's all this Photoshop stuff I've seen.
- 16:57Speaker 1: They've analyzed interviews between Kathy Hilton, Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore,
- 17:05Speaker 1: and Selena when they've been on talk shows. And the
- 17:07Speaker 1: host has asked them about going to Britney's wedding, that
- 17:10Speaker 1: they seem unsure of themselves in talking about it, that
- 17:12Speaker 1: they seem hesitant about Are they there? Are they protecting her?
- 17:17Speaker 1: Was she in fact not there? Did they have a
- 17:19Speaker 1: body double halfway through the time? Where is the marriage license?
- 17:24Speaker 1: What is happening? Is she actually talking about the body
- 17:28Speaker 1: double at her wedding? All conspiracy theories. Call me crazy.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I'm telling you what's out there and how strange it
- 17:37Speaker 1: all is. And the fact that my friends took me
- 17:42Speaker 1: to Lovey's over Joey's, it was a really hard weekend.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I put it on my Instagram. A lot of people
- 17:47Speaker 1: are telling me I should dump these girls as friends
- 17:51Speaker 1: and I'm not going to. So they're like, you should,
- 17:55Speaker 1: why didn't you put your, I don't know. I just
- 17:57Speaker 1: imagine how I felt you guys. Okay. Then major juice
- 18:01Speaker 1: happened in the sister wives world. My friend, John Yates,
- 18:06Speaker 1: who has a great YouTube channel, who covers a lot
- 18:08Speaker 1: on 90 Day Fiance, a lot on Seeking Sister Wives
- 18:12Speaker 1: and Sister Wives. He's a huge fan. He's watched every
- 18:15Speaker 1: episode since it started. He got in contact with Peyton.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Peyton is one of the oldest son, the only son
- 18:22Speaker 1: of Christine. He's like in his 20s, looks just like Cody.
- 18:28Speaker 1: And he did a three-hour live with John Yates about
- 18:33Speaker 1: everything Sister Wives. And so I talked to John yesterday
- 18:37Speaker 1: and he offered to give me the cliff notes of
- 18:41Speaker 1: the three hour. And I'm going to read them all
- 18:43Speaker 1: to you and then I'm going to tell you what
- 18:44Speaker 1: I think. One reward. Endless choice. Skip the hassle. Reward
- 18:49Speaker 1: the easy way.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 19:17Speaker 2: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 19:20Speaker 2: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 19:24Speaker 2: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 19:30Speaker 4: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 19:33Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 19:35Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 19:38Speaker 2: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 19:41Speaker 2: you had to succeed in order to feel loved? He said,
- 19:43Speaker 2: I have a work dad. I need a home dad.
- 19:45Speaker 1: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 19:51Speaker 2: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 19:54Speaker 2: go through.
- 19:55Speaker 1: It's about what happens next. Here we go. Peyton feels
- 20:22Speaker 1: like Robin made no sacrifices when she married Cody. She
- 20:25Speaker 1: married a man who was becoming wealthy and moved from
- 20:28Speaker 1: a place she didn't like. Robin cries all the time,
- 20:31Speaker 1: but Peyton has only seen tears once. Peyton hasn't seen
- 20:35Speaker 1: Robin in a long time. The sister's wife closet, to
- 20:39Speaker 1: no one's surprise, is defunct and pretty much that's where
- 20:42Speaker 1: they were selling their clothes, I don't know, five seasons ago.
- 20:45Speaker 1: As seen on the show, Cody tried to kick Janelle's
- 20:48Speaker 1: oldest sons out of the house due to COVID rules. Dayton,
- 20:51Speaker 1: who's Robin's oldest son, is in the RV outside of
- 20:54Speaker 1: her house, possibly because of COVID rules. Peyton has suffered
- 20:58Speaker 1: with depression off and on since the family moved from Vegas.
- 21:02Speaker 1: For two weeks, Cody wanted Peyton to go to work
- 21:04Speaker 1: and come straight home and stay in his room the
- 21:07Speaker 1: rest of the night, but because of his history with depression,
- 21:09Speaker 1: he just couldn't isolate like that because of the COVID
- 21:12Speaker 1: rules that he was so strict about. Cody's COVID rules
- 21:15Speaker 1: are more stringent than the military. Dayton, Robin's oldest son,
- 21:20Speaker 1: was happy to go away to college in Arizona, but
- 21:22Speaker 1: Robin couldn't let go. And that is why the whole
- 21:26Speaker 1: family was uprooted from Vegas cul-de-sac to Arizona. This is
- 21:31Speaker 1: all according to Peyton, all his opinion, all allegedly. Cody
- 21:35Speaker 1: was at Robin's house most of the time, even in Vegas,
- 21:39Speaker 1: because the two youngest kids needed him before the COVID rules.
- 21:42Speaker 1: He had already begun to neglect the other kids. Peyton
- 21:46Speaker 1: had a good relationship with his dad up until about
- 21:48Speaker 1: age 12. Cody has a view of what his children
- 21:51Speaker 1: should be, and because they don't measure up, he expresses
- 21:54Speaker 1: his disappointment. Christine asked Peyton to leave when he was
- 21:58Speaker 1: turning 18, so he left, but that part was confusing
- 22:03Speaker 1: because he then turned around and said their dad didn't
- 22:07Speaker 1: kick them out. Oh, in the interview, he said their
- 22:11Speaker 1: dad didn't kick them out, but that Christine did ask
- 22:13Speaker 1: him to leave. Garrison and Gabe, those are the older
- 22:17Speaker 1: boys that belong to Janelle and Cody. as shown on
- 22:20Speaker 1: the show, were alienated from their dad because they were
- 22:23Speaker 1: disrespectful to Robin and Cody and tried to get Janelle
- 22:26Speaker 1: to kick them out. They believe Cody tried to get
- 22:29Speaker 1: Janelle to kick them out. Peyton said he is the
- 22:32Speaker 1: gay best friend who isn't gay because women love him,
- 22:35Speaker 1: but always friends zone him. Cody was cutting off family
- 22:38Speaker 1: members that he felt weren't respecting him and his rules,
- 22:42Speaker 1: both COVID and otherwise. Peyton realized his mom was unhappy
- 22:46Speaker 1: in her marriage years ago when McKelty pointed it out. Mary,
- 22:50Speaker 1: the first wife, was the favorite wife for years before
- 22:54Speaker 1: certain things happened, and then Robin became the favorite wife.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Peyton said his dad was a good, safe person for
- 23:02Speaker 1: the kids until after Cody's brother Curtis died, and he
- 23:06Speaker 1: changed when Peyton was between 12 and 15 in Vegas
- 23:09Speaker 1: before the cul-de-sac. It was something to do with maybe
- 23:12Speaker 1: something Robin said. So he's saying that his dad changed
- 23:16Speaker 1: because he was grieving. There is a schism, I don't
- 23:21Speaker 1: really know what that means, between all the wives' kids
- 23:24Speaker 1: and Robin's kids, because Cody refers to them as your
- 23:27Speaker 1: kids and his, but it's his kids with Robin. I
- 23:30Speaker 1: do notice that. That's weird. Cody wasn't as concerned with Truly,
- 23:35Speaker 1: which is the youngest girl of Christine, getting sick as
- 23:38Speaker 1: he was with Robin's little kids getting sick. So Peyton
- 23:43Speaker 1: didn't feel the age of the kids was why he
- 23:45Speaker 1: was concerned as much as the mother of the kids. Leon. Now,
- 23:49Speaker 1: Leon is Mary's only daughter, Mariah, who has transitioned to
- 23:57Speaker 1: becoming Leon. Leon and Peyton don't have a relationship. And
- 24:01Speaker 1: Peyton felt like Leon was jealous because right before the
- 24:04Speaker 1: wedding of the brother, Logan, it came out that Peyton
- 24:09Speaker 1: works at a strip club and it stole Leon's thunder
- 24:13Speaker 1: about being trans, right? I think that's kind of interesting.
- 24:17Speaker 1: I don't think any of the kids seem thirsty, but whatever.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Cody gets on seven-year kicks, meaning they move every seven years.
- 24:25Speaker 1: None of the kids had any of their vaccinations growing up. Interesting.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Cody works at home, and Robin is a stay-at-home mom,
- 24:32Speaker 1: and they have a nanny housekeeper. Both Peyton and Christine
- 24:36Speaker 1: have What Does the Nanny Do t-shirts. Remember that when
- 24:40Speaker 1: Christine kept saying, What Does the Nanny Do t-shirts? Robin
- 24:45Speaker 1: is a bit of a hoarder, compulsive shopper, and they
- 24:49Speaker 1: usually have shopping bags with new things she has bought
- 24:52Speaker 1: lining the floors until all the help and the nanny
- 24:55Speaker 1: clean it up once a week. His grandfather had 10 children,
- 24:59Speaker 1: and when Cody got back from his Mormon mission, he
- 25:01Speaker 1: found out his grandfather was becoming a polygamist, and then
- 25:05Speaker 1: he married a few more times. When Cody was courting Janelle,
- 25:09Speaker 1: his grandfather married Janelle's mom, I think. It was... Grandpa
- 25:14Speaker 1: married the grandma, which was the polygamy. Mary was not
- 25:20Speaker 1: nice to the kids, wife number one. Abrasive was not
- 25:22Speaker 1: a strong enough word for the way Mary was around
- 25:25Speaker 1: the kids. Now, this is the part that People Magazine
- 25:27Speaker 1: and everyone picked up. They weren't safe with Mary. He
- 25:31Speaker 1: said Robin probably saved several lives when she recognized the
- 25:35Speaker 1: warning signs in Mary's relationship with the kids. His dad
- 25:39Speaker 1: said him wearing the nanny t-shirt and texted him, At
- 25:43Speaker 1: least the nanny was respectful, so he didn't like him
- 25:45Speaker 1: wearing that nanny t-shirt. What does the nanny do? He
- 25:48Speaker 1: went about eight months without talking to Peyton, Cody did,
- 25:52Speaker 1: but one day he called him out of the blue.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Peyton was really happy until his mom told him that
- 25:59Speaker 1: she had a fight with Cody on that day about
- 26:02Speaker 1: Cody's attempt to to put legal strongholds on the kids
- 26:10Speaker 1: as far as what the adult kids say about the family.
- 26:14Speaker 1: So that's why he was reaching out. He was trying
- 26:16Speaker 1: to put, like, gag orders on them, according to this interview.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Robin asked Logan, the oldest boy, before Robin and Cody
- 26:27Speaker 1: were married, to do something, and he refused. And that
- 26:29Speaker 1: was the only time Peyton felt like Robin was really
- 26:32Speaker 1: disrespectful outside of normal kids' things. So... that there's so
- 26:37Speaker 1: much juice here. The biggest thing is that there were
- 26:40Speaker 1: times where Christine would say, I didn't feel safe with Mary.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I didn't feel safe. And I thought they were talking
- 26:44Speaker 1: about the way real housewives say, I don't feel safe
- 26:47Speaker 1: with you. And the way real housewives say, I don't
- 26:49Speaker 1: feel safe with you. I interpreted that. I don't feel
- 26:52Speaker 1: safe being in a scene with you that you're not
- 26:53Speaker 1: going to pull out some bullshit to ruin my life
- 26:56Speaker 1: on camera that I then have to defend a rumor,
- 27:00Speaker 1: something I told you in secret. I don't feel safe
- 27:02Speaker 1: with you. Now I know that when Christine said, I
- 27:07Speaker 1: don't feel safe with Mary, now I think it refers
- 27:10Speaker 1: to either her verbal abuse of the kids or possibly
- 27:14Speaker 1: some physical abuse or discipline. There is a scene in
- 27:19Speaker 1: which Mary asked Cody and Robin, can I take four-year-old Solomon,
- 27:23Speaker 1: which is Cody and Robin's son, with me to Utah?
- 27:27Speaker 1: And they were very uncomfortable. I just rewatched the scene
- 27:30Speaker 1: and they were like, no, I just think he's being weird.
- 27:32Speaker 1: And she's like, well, ever? And they're like, well, maybe.
- 27:35Speaker 1: And she gets really mad and she goes out and
- 27:36Speaker 1: slams the door. One thing I didn't understand during all
- 27:39Speaker 1: the COVID rules when they hired this nanny is Mary
- 27:42Speaker 1: is following the COVID rules. She's all by herself in
- 27:45Speaker 1: this big giant house. She wants to be around the kids.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Why don't they let her be around the kids more?
- 27:50Speaker 1: Makes me think that in all those years that Christine
- 27:53Speaker 1: was watching all all of she and Janelle's 12 kids together,
- 27:56Speaker 1: along with Mariah maybe, were there times when they did
- 28:02Speaker 1: arrange it the way that Janelle would go work outside
- 28:04Speaker 1: at home and Christine would be the main mom caregiver
- 28:07Speaker 1: because they couldn't trust Mary in stressful situations with the kids?
- 28:12Speaker 1: I don't know. It's very, Mary's doing a bunch of
- 28:15Speaker 1: lies for her lularoo and she goes off on people
- 28:18Speaker 1: and is like yelling at anyone that like says anything
- 28:21Speaker 1: anything about her clothing or herself, and it's pretty entertaining.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I really don't know what's going to happen with this show.
- 28:27Speaker 1: There's this other TikTok account that's been counted that has
- 28:31Speaker 1: like masked voices. People think it's the older brown kids
- 28:37Speaker 1: answering all these questions. And one thing that they delved
- 28:39Speaker 1: into was the different laws between Arizona, Utah, and Nevada,
- 28:45Speaker 1: and how they differentiate with how much kids can work
- 28:48Speaker 1: in entertainment. and how many hours and how old they are.
- 28:54Speaker 1: And I believe none of these kids ever got paid
- 28:58Speaker 1: to be on the show. Only the parents did. And
- 29:01Speaker 1: then I guess if they want to be on it
- 29:04Speaker 1: when they're older, they could negotiate their own deal. I
- 29:06Speaker 1: know Real Housewives kids do that. Or they just sign
- 29:09Speaker 1: a release. Or maybe that's why they aren't featured that
- 29:12Speaker 1: much now that they're adults. So I really think TLC
- 29:17Speaker 1: is kind of shaking in their boots. I don't know
- 29:21Speaker 1: what is going to happen to the show. I know
- 29:22Speaker 1: they're filming it. Now all three women have said, I'm
- 29:25Speaker 1: no longer with Cody, Mary Janelle, and Christine. So do
- 29:29Speaker 1: we follow them all? I think it's worth it. I
- 29:32Speaker 1: think this is the realest reality show I've ever seen.
- 29:36Speaker 1: You know, but I noticed now Christine is doing like,
- 29:38Speaker 1: now I dance, dance, dance. And she's starting to do,
- 29:42Speaker 1: she's starting to get a little House YV with her TikToks.
- 29:45Speaker 1: And so I don't know if she's going to be
- 29:46Speaker 1: the realest of the real. I don't know if we're
- 29:49Speaker 1: going to believe when TLC brings some, you know, rancher
- 29:52Speaker 1: 50 year old man to take her on a date
- 29:54Speaker 1: that that's not, you know, from central casting. I don't know.
- 29:58Speaker 1: But I certainly want to watch it. I don't know
- 30:00Speaker 1: if they'll be searching for other wives. I also wouldn't
- 30:04Speaker 1: be surprised if the whole thing went away. I don't
- 30:06Speaker 1: want it to, but I wouldn't be surprised if after
- 30:08Speaker 1: this next season it goes away because this is all
- 30:12Speaker 1: just like too messy. And I think there might be
- 30:15Speaker 1: some regrets on spilling the beans with these kids. But
- 30:20Speaker 1: I love that they did. And if you want to
- 30:22Speaker 1: watch the entire thing, go to John Yates' YouTube and
- 30:25Speaker 1: watch it. So a little follow up on the sad
- 30:29Speaker 1: story about the missing mom of three little boys out
- 30:32Speaker 1: of Massachusetts that I talked about. As you know, the
- 30:35Speaker 1: husband has been arrested for not cooperating with police. But
- 30:39Speaker 1: now we know he had said, and I believe his
- 30:43Speaker 1: attorney had said he was the one to let police
- 30:47Speaker 1: know that his wife was missing, that she left to
- 30:51Speaker 1: go on a work trip, um, late on New Year's
- 30:54Speaker 1: Eve and hadn't seen or hadn't been seen since New
- 30:57Speaker 1: Year's Day. Now we know that actually it was her employer.
- 31:01Speaker 1: They checked the logs of the police that called and
- 31:04Speaker 1: they were the ones that called the police and said,
- 31:05Speaker 1: can you do a wellness check on our associate, Anna,
- 31:09Speaker 1: who we have not heard from, which they did a
- 31:12Speaker 1: couple of days after the husband said she was last seen. Because,
- 31:16Speaker 1: of course, he said she went to take care of
- 31:20Speaker 1: her work in emergency and and she was supposed to
- 31:22Speaker 1: leave on the 3rd, but she actually left on the 1st,
- 31:25Speaker 1: and now I haven't heard from her. No, he never
- 31:28Speaker 1: let the police know. The employer let him know. Since
- 31:31Speaker 1: they also, what they have found, this is not good
- 31:35Speaker 1: for this husband, they don't know how she went missing,
- 31:40Speaker 1: but they did find blood in the family's basement and
- 31:44Speaker 1: a blood-stained damaged knife. They also discovered a hacksaw, a hatchet, blood,
- 31:52Speaker 1: used cleaning supplies, and a rug at a trash transfer
- 31:56Speaker 1: station in Peabody, a little more than an hour away
- 31:59Speaker 1: from the couple's home that I assume was their rug.
- 32:03Speaker 1: He also allegedly, Brian, allegedly searched for how to dispose
- 32:07Speaker 1: of a 115-pound woman's body online. And she was 115 pounds.
- 32:12Speaker 1: So sad. I have looked... I talked about this on
- 32:20Speaker 1: my Patreon Juicy Crimes with Shannon, but I went to
- 32:23Speaker 1: her Instagram and it was kind of an interesting Instagram
- 32:28Speaker 1: in that I don't think she featured any photo of
- 32:32Speaker 1: him in like the last year and a half. Now
- 32:34Speaker 1: she didn't post a lot, but she posted somewhat normally,
- 32:37Speaker 1: you know, definitely a few times a month. Most of
- 32:43Speaker 1: the photos in the last year and a half were selfies,
- 32:47Speaker 1: her in like a cute little short skirt business outfit,
- 32:51Speaker 1: traveling for work, occasionally photos of her three little boys.
- 32:56Speaker 1: But a lot of just like in the mirror, here's
- 32:59Speaker 1: my outfit for today, sometimes laughing with like, I have
- 33:03Speaker 1: the best team that I work with. And the only
- 33:07Speaker 1: one that she featured of the husband, like I said,
- 33:09Speaker 1: was a while back with one other child, and she's
- 33:12Speaker 1: blowing out candles, and she's like, all I want for
- 33:15Speaker 1: my birthday is family. But nothing, you know, celebrating his
- 33:20Speaker 1: birthday or, you know, their relationship or anything for quite
- 33:24Speaker 1: a while. And there was a past domestic violence report,
- 33:32Speaker 1: but then she wasn't cooperative in going forward with it.
- 33:36Speaker 1: And so I really think, in my opinion, that she
- 33:42Speaker 1: was preparing to leave this relationship and was, you know,
- 33:47Speaker 1: feeling confident in her career. And of course he was
- 33:52Speaker 1: already arrested for trying to sell fake Andy Warhol. So
- 33:56Speaker 1: that was a whole nother case he was dealing with, which,
- 33:58Speaker 1: you know, is a turnoff I'm sure to her. And just,
- 34:01Speaker 1: I think just kind of getting her ducks in her own.
- 34:03Speaker 1: So I, my assessment is something tragic happened that night.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Some arguments, some coming to of like, it's the end
- 34:11Speaker 1: of the year. I'm not doing another year like this, dude.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Like I'm done. And some, something happened where he then
- 34:19Speaker 1: did something very fatal to her. So that also, this
- 34:26Speaker 1: was kind of also interesting from the New York Post.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I guess she approached one of her renters. She and
- 34:31Speaker 1: the husband had a rental property And she announced to
- 34:35Speaker 1: these renters who then gave a interview to the Boston
- 34:39Speaker 1: Globe or something saying, we're going to have to sell
- 34:42Speaker 1: this place. And of course, the people were like, wait, what? Like,
- 34:45Speaker 1: we're good, you know, renters. And they said that she
- 34:48Speaker 1: freaked out and had like just freaked out on them.
- 34:52Speaker 1: And it was very different than anything they'd ever seen.
- 34:54Speaker 1: And this happened just shortly before she went missing. So
- 34:58Speaker 1: they said like her behavior was like erratic. I don't
- 35:02Speaker 1: know what that really means. I think it means more
- 35:04Speaker 1: that she was telling him that they were going to
- 35:06Speaker 1: sell a property that maybe the two of them owned together.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Like I said, kind of getting her things in order
- 35:12Speaker 1: of like, we're not going to be together anymore. And
- 35:14Speaker 1: one part that I'm going to start is I'm going
- 35:17Speaker 1: to tell my renters they need to leave because I
- 35:19Speaker 1: want to just sell this property and split that profit. Anyway,
- 35:23Speaker 1: very sad, but he is in custody. So also juicy story.
- 35:30Speaker 1: This is a crazy story out of a small police
- 35:32Speaker 1: department in Tennessee. There is this female cop who told people, apparently,
- 35:41Speaker 1: that she had an open marriage. And in that open marriage,
- 35:46Speaker 1: this story is so crazy. It involves so many different cops.
- 35:49Speaker 1: It is like, what in the Jerry Springer police department
- 35:53Speaker 1: hell is going on? She is given BJs. She is
- 36:02Speaker 1: in a jacuzzi with a bunch of cops, most of
- 36:05Speaker 1: them being married. Her top's coming off. She's getting with
- 36:10Speaker 1: certain cops while they're on duty. Another cop, they went
- 36:13Speaker 1: to a go-kart place together and then a hotel, but
- 36:16Speaker 1: I don't know if that was while they were on duty.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Another one involved a threesome with one of the cops
- 36:21Speaker 1: she was having an affair with and his wife. And
- 36:24Speaker 1: then another one where... a cop that she was having
- 36:28Speaker 1: relations with, sexual relationships, that guy's wife found out about
- 36:32Speaker 1: it and beat him up. And anyway, in the end,
- 36:40Speaker 1: she and eight officers were disciplined, five were fired, and
- 36:46Speaker 1: I guess three are left. And I don't know, I'm
- 36:51Speaker 1: sure she'll start an OnlyFans soon. Oh, by the way,
- 36:55Speaker 1: Catherine Dennis did start an OnlyFans. I don't know if
- 36:57Speaker 1: you saw, but I made a little reel out of
- 36:59Speaker 1: it because I love when a prediction came true. Catherine
- 37:00Speaker 1: Dennis of Southern Charm has started her OnlyFans. And I
- 37:05Speaker 1: assume so will this girl. I don't know. Then there
- 37:07Speaker 1: was another report that she had suffered from some mental
- 37:11Speaker 1: disorders and stuff. So that would make sense. However, the
- 37:15Speaker 1: husband's sticking by her. So anyway, they're going to be
- 37:19Speaker 1: hiring soon in this police department because they lost like
- 37:22Speaker 1: half of their department. because they were all like boning. Now,
- 37:27Speaker 1: all I'm thinking about is what if this went down
- 37:32Speaker 1: at the Moscow, Idaho police department? Thank God. I mean,
- 37:37Speaker 1: what if these people really were like in the middle
- 37:40Speaker 1: of a massive murder investigation and this like boning and
- 37:44Speaker 1: everything was going on? Well, maybe it wasn't because they
- 37:46Speaker 1: didn't have much going on. I don't know. But thank
- 37:49Speaker 1: God it wasn't happening there because that police department did
- 37:53Speaker 1: a very good job. But my God, it really is
- 37:55Speaker 1: just like, I guess this is like, you know, make love,
- 37:58Speaker 1: not war. And people should be happy that cops were
- 38:00Speaker 1: boning and not doing anything else. Okay. Shannon Bedore of
- 38:06Speaker 1: Real Houses of OC is divorced. And she's been dating
- 38:10Speaker 1: this guy, John Jansen, for quite a while now, like
- 38:14Speaker 1: a year, year and a half. Came out through People
- 38:18Speaker 1: Magazine that they broke up. seven days after they finished
- 38:22Speaker 1: filming the season. We don't know when The Real Housewives
- 38:25Speaker 1: of Boise is coming out. We don't have any trailer.
- 38:28Speaker 1: We don't even know really what the season is about,
- 38:31Speaker 1: except that Tamara's back, and I think Vicki comes back
- 38:35Speaker 1: halfway through or something. Vicki, being a supportive friend, I
- 38:39Speaker 1: assume that's what she's trying to be, either commented or something,
- 38:44Speaker 1: page six picked it up, that Vicki, whoops, sorry, that
- 38:49Speaker 1: Vicky said that Shannon Bedore's narcissist ex-boyfriend, John Jansen, and
- 38:57Speaker 1: then the Real Housewives OC star Savage Remarks spotted on
- 39:01Speaker 1: a Bravo fan account. So she made a little comment
- 39:04Speaker 1: under and then they wrote about it. Now, I met
- 39:09Speaker 1: John on several occasions. He seemed very into Shannon. They
- 39:14Speaker 1: seemed like a great match, okay? Apparently he said to
- 39:18Speaker 1: People Magazine, I didn't break up with her while we
- 39:24Speaker 1: were filming because I thought that would be humiliating. So
- 39:27Speaker 1: I waited till we were done filming to break up
- 39:29Speaker 1: with her. But then in turn, she was like, well,
- 39:33Speaker 1: if you felt that way, I wish you had now, A,
- 39:36Speaker 1: I'm thinking we would have had a really good juicy
- 39:39Speaker 1: season and some good trailers to watch. But therefore I
- 39:43Speaker 1: was blindsided. So I was blindsided because I thought everything
- 39:46Speaker 1: was fine is what she's saying. I mean, I don't
- 39:49Speaker 1: know what Vicky's thinking if she's thinking that her Steve Lodge,
- 39:54Speaker 1: brother of Roger Lodge, if Steve Lodge and John Jansen
- 39:59Speaker 1: are such opportunistic men that they were like, you know what?
- 40:03Speaker 1: Let's date these women that are on a reality show
- 40:08Speaker 1: because we both love Bravo. Let's date them. Then let's
- 40:12Speaker 1: dump them. And then you and I have our own
- 40:16Speaker 1: show called Bosom Buddies. And it's about two, I mean,
- 40:21Speaker 1: obviously Steve Lodge already married another girl, but like, what
- 40:25Speaker 1: is she? No, I don't think any of these guys
- 40:29Speaker 1: are dating reality stars to, they, I think there's a thing.
- 40:34Speaker 1: I think there's certain guys that date reality stars or
- 40:38Speaker 1: date TV stars and they, they enjoy the fun of
- 40:42Speaker 1: going out at night. And instead of just the two
- 40:45Speaker 1: of them talking to each other, um, A group of
- 40:48Speaker 1: people send them some drinks. Some other girls are kind
- 40:51Speaker 1: of buzzed and gushing. They get photos. They talk about
- 40:54Speaker 1: what they love about them. They talk about how they
- 40:57Speaker 1: also hate the person that they hate on the show.
- 40:59Speaker 1: And then they've had a few drinks and they're like,
- 41:01Speaker 1: oh my God, let me tell you what really was
- 41:03Speaker 1: happening in that scene. And the night is just like
- 41:06Speaker 1: a way more fun night than if the two of
- 41:09Speaker 1: you went out to dinner in the OC and weren't famous. Now,
- 41:12Speaker 1: that doesn't make a guy a narcissist. That makes a
- 41:14Speaker 1: guy like pretty easy, pretty outgoing, ready to go with
- 41:18Speaker 1: the flow. But you wonder now, like why it is
- 41:23Speaker 1: hard for the Ramona singers of the world to find
- 41:26Speaker 1: guys that want to date them because of exactly this,
- 41:29Speaker 1: you know, like exactly this when they if it God forbid,
- 41:33Speaker 1: it doesn't last forever. If they break up with them,
- 41:36Speaker 1: then you've got all these angry Real Housewives fans that
- 41:41Speaker 1: are going to find your social media and write nasty
- 41:44Speaker 1: things to you because they are fans of Shannon Bedore's
- 41:48Speaker 1: or fans of Vicky's or whatever. So I'm just saying
- 41:53Speaker 1: this is going to be, it's just going to make
- 41:55Speaker 1: it harder for single Real Housewives to find guys to date. That's,
- 42:03Speaker 1: that's my prediction. But you know what? Hopefully Shannon finds
- 42:06Speaker 1: someone he he's already been on another date with someone else,
- 42:09Speaker 1: a quiet woman. People thought that was real bad that
- 42:12Speaker 1: he went to quiet woman. Well, you know what? He
- 42:13Speaker 1: lives there. He lives there. He likes that place. Is
- 42:17Speaker 1: he never supposed to go out? He didn't choose to
- 42:21Speaker 1: be on the show. He chose to date a girl
- 42:23Speaker 1: who was on the show and he agreed to be
- 42:27Speaker 1: on camera, which oftentimes, you know, where's Erica? Jane's all her,
- 42:31Speaker 1: you know, big dicks. Oh, I've got fresh dick, hard dick,
- 42:35Speaker 1: dick around the corner. Where are all those guys? They're
- 42:37Speaker 1: not agreeing to be on camera. We don't get to
- 42:40Speaker 1: see that. So I'm just saying, like, maybe, you know,
- 42:45Speaker 1: if you're one of those people that are, like, angry that,
- 42:48Speaker 1: you know, your favorite reality star's boyfriend, like, supposedly broke
- 42:51Speaker 1: up with her, which we don't really know. They could
- 42:53Speaker 1: have been mutually goodbye and then kind of in retrospect
- 42:57Speaker 1: back now kind of telling a really sad story.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Like.
- 43:01Speaker 1: There's only so many 55-year-old men around to go, okay?
- 43:09Speaker 1: And a lot of our Real Housewives are divorced and
- 43:13Speaker 1: would like them. So let's not ruin it for everybody
- 43:17Speaker 1: and go attack them once it doesn't work out and
- 43:19Speaker 1: they don't get married. All right. Speaking of which, I
- 43:24Speaker 1: follow this girl, Nicole James. You're probably like, who is that? Well,
- 43:29Speaker 1: she was on Real Housewives of O.C., For the first
- 43:33Speaker 1: few episodes. And then she left the show. I don't
- 43:36Speaker 1: even know if this was. I think this was the
- 43:38Speaker 1: last season. Then she was last. Okay. And Shanna Bedore
- 43:43Speaker 1: remembered that she had gotten a boob job from Terry
- 43:47Speaker 1: Dubrow and apparently wasn't happy. Filed a lawsuit. And it
- 43:52Speaker 1: was settled. Unbeknownst to us, it was settled. She then
- 43:55Speaker 1: gets put on the show. Heather Dubrow doesn't know because
- 43:58Speaker 1: her husband's done a million plastic surgeries. And that's part
- 44:02Speaker 1: of the deal. Some people aren't happy. Sometimes you settle.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Sometimes you sue back. I don't know. Anyway, it all
- 44:08Speaker 1: gets revealed on camera. And that's where all the rumors happened.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Did Heather Dubrow hit the camera? Was she rude to
- 44:15Speaker 1: the staff? Whatever. The Nicole James left the show. I
- 44:20Speaker 1: don't know if she got out of it. I don't
- 44:22Speaker 1: know if she was ever a real housewife. I don't
- 44:24Speaker 1: know if she didn't get vaccinated or say she didn't
- 44:27Speaker 1: get vaccinated to get off of it. I don't know what,
- 44:30Speaker 1: how she got out of it, but she got out
- 44:31Speaker 1: of it. Noella is also off the show now and
- 44:36Speaker 1: she did the whole season, but she was getting divorced
- 44:39Speaker 1: from sweet James Brown, who is, is that his name?
- 44:43Speaker 1: His name's not Brown, is it? It's just sweet James.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Sweet James is a big personal injury attorney from like
- 44:52Speaker 1: Vegas to, I don't know, all over California. Billboards everywhere.
- 44:56Speaker 1: That is her ex-husband. They got divorced. Anyway, Nicole James posted,
- 45:03Speaker 1: our podcast is coming soon. Make sure to follow us
- 45:06Speaker 1: up for update. I'm like, who's it with? And then
- 45:09Speaker 1: she tagged Noella. So I'm going to tell you what's
- 45:14Speaker 1: going to happen.
- 45:14Speaker 3: Okay.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:16Speaker 1: They're going to put out their podcast and it's going
- 45:18Speaker 1: to be like, wow, are you ready to spill it? Yeah,
- 45:21Speaker 1: I think we really are. This is crazy. And then
- 45:25Speaker 1: Noella will talk a little bit about what happened that
- 45:28Speaker 1: night with Heather Dubrow. And they'll say some stuff that
- 45:32Speaker 1: we probably have heard in a million interviews, but they'll
- 45:34Speaker 1: be telling it themselves. And very few people even know
- 45:38Speaker 1: that this podcast came out. But then All About the
- 45:41Speaker 1: Truth or Reality Blur will listen and they'll write an
- 45:45Speaker 1: article about it. And then someone will send that to
- 45:48Speaker 1: Heather Dubrow and then she'll read it and then she'll
- 45:50Speaker 1: get her attorneys on it and then they'll get a
- 45:51Speaker 1: cease and desist. And then the next week they'll come
- 45:54Speaker 1: back and they'll be like, so many of you are
- 45:57Speaker 1: wondering where last week's episode went. And we unfortunately, the
- 46:05Speaker 1: powers that be have advised us that we take it down.
- 46:10Speaker 1: And but you know what? That's not what our whole
- 46:12Speaker 1: show's about, is it? No, we're two single girls in
- 46:15Speaker 1: the OC dating. And so then we'll get a couple
- 46:19Speaker 1: episodes of them dating. They'll bring on their friend. They'll
- 46:22Speaker 1: bring on their Pilates girl. And then they'll take a
- 46:25Speaker 1: break for like a week or two. And then they'll
- 46:28Speaker 1: come back and do one more. And then we'll never
- 46:31Speaker 1: hear from them again. That's just my prediction. I'm not
- 46:36Speaker 1: wishing it. And if this is what you're thinking of,
- 46:41Speaker 1: you could also now hear my prediction and say, let's
- 46:45Speaker 1: not have this happen. But the minute I saw this,
- 46:48Speaker 1: I just saw the way that it will go. Jen Shah,
- 46:55Speaker 1: not only is she doing the six and a half years,
- 46:57Speaker 1: but they said after that, you're going to have to
- 46:59Speaker 1: do how many months in a mental facility? She's going
- 47:01Speaker 1: to have to do mental health. rehab after she gets
- 47:08Speaker 1: out of jail after six and a half years. So
- 47:10Speaker 1: a lot of the comments are like, well, why isn't
- 47:12Speaker 1: she getting that kind of mental health in prison? A
- 47:15Speaker 1: lot of people are like, that's not what prison is.
- 47:17Speaker 1: She's doing retribution. They're like at 50 cents an hour,
- 47:20Speaker 1: she's supposed to make up the $ 6 million. I don't know,
- 47:24Speaker 1: but that's what she has to look forward to. So
- 47:27Speaker 1: who knows what she'll be like six years from now
- 47:29Speaker 1: without being on TV and being totally humbled. I mean,
- 47:32Speaker 1: I can't even imagine what a different person she will
- 47:35Speaker 1: be And that's so weird. Like what if you come
- 47:40Speaker 1: out after six and a half years and you really
- 47:42Speaker 1: are like really got your shit together. You're, you know,
- 47:47Speaker 1: reading the Bible, you're doing yoga, you're helping some other
- 47:50Speaker 1: people in the group. Like you're just like completely stripped down, humbled,
- 47:56Speaker 1: just totally normal and not a crazy bipolar reality star,
- 48:01Speaker 1: narcissist or whatever people perceived her to be. like, then
- 48:05Speaker 1: you still have to go? Or can you be like, now,
- 48:07Speaker 1: can I just go home to, you know, the Shaw
- 48:12Speaker 1: Chalet or whatever? I don't know. All right, you guys,
- 48:16Speaker 1: I am excited because I have returned guest Holly Madison here,
- 48:19Speaker 1: and we're going to talk all about her new really
- 48:21Speaker 1: juicy show. Hello, and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have,
- 48:27Speaker 1: I think now, third time returning guest, Holly Madison. who
- 48:32Speaker 1: has got so much going on, but you know her
- 48:34Speaker 1: best from the Girls Next Door, now her hit podcast,
- 48:37Speaker 1: Girls Next Level, that she does with her good friend
- 48:39Speaker 1: and co-star, Bridget. And now I'm really impressed. You're kind
- 48:44Speaker 1: of entering this whole world of hosting juicy stuff, which
- 48:50Speaker 1: you've got the Playboy Murders on the ID Network, which
- 48:54Speaker 1: I love, starting Monday, January 23rd. So when I saw this,
- 48:59Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, I got to get you on and
- 49:02Speaker 1: talk all about this. Thanks for having me.
- 49:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm excited because this is the first show I've
- 49:06Speaker 3: been a part of that I think I would actually watch.
- 49:08Speaker 3: Like not hating on my other shows. I just don't
- 49:10Speaker 3: usually watch like that light kind of reality show type stuff.
- 49:13Speaker 1: That was kind of like an.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Accident, me ending up on there. So yeah, I was
- 49:17Speaker 3: approached to do this show. And when I heard the title,
- 49:19Speaker 3: I was like, no, too much Playboy stuff. Like I
- 49:21Speaker 3: can't take another thing. But they showed me the cases
- 49:25Speaker 3: they wanted to cover. And I was so surprised because
- 49:27Speaker 3: I thought I knew everything about Playboy history and what
- 49:29Speaker 3: happened to all the Playmates. And there were so many
- 49:31Speaker 3: cases I hadn't even heard of. And I was like, wow,
- 49:34Speaker 3: this is something I would watch. So I jumped on
- 49:36Speaker 3: board and it's been an amazing experience.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Yes. So I want to. Yeah, I feel like I
- 49:43Speaker 1: know everything about Playboy 2. You know, I was absolutely
- 49:46Speaker 1: obsessed with Star 80. And I think that's probably the
- 49:53Speaker 1: most famous because it's really the most like tragic and
- 49:56Speaker 1: She was already becoming such a star. And just to
- 50:00Speaker 1: give people a little bit of the story, it was
- 50:04Speaker 1: Dorothy Stratton was her name. And she came over. She
- 50:08Speaker 1: was just like a girl at a Dairy Queen in Canada.
- 50:11Speaker 1: And this kind of two-bit hustler kind of a guy came.
- 50:17Speaker 1: like love bombed her and was like you could be
- 50:20Speaker 1: a playmate mate and sent in the photos and she
- 50:23Speaker 1: came over here and she really was just so naturally
- 50:25Speaker 1: stunning and beautiful and kind of had a real girl
- 50:29Speaker 1: next door appeal and then started to you know have
- 50:34Speaker 1: a lot of popularity became um she was made of
- 50:37Speaker 1: the year over the year got movie roles And then
- 50:40Speaker 1: they were like, you have got to get rid of
- 50:42Speaker 1: this weird creeper husband of yours. Like, he's awful. And
- 50:47Speaker 1: what's interesting about him is that he had a big
- 50:51Speaker 1: part in trying to get Chippendales started. Yeah, it was
- 50:54Speaker 1: his idea. Isn't that crazy?
- 50:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:57Speaker 3: And he got the idea to put cuffs and collars
- 50:59Speaker 3: on the dancers for Chip and Dale's from the Playboy Bunnies.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Right. And then they kind of screwed him out of
- 51:04Speaker 1: the fact that it was his idea because it was
- 51:06Speaker 1: easy to screw him out of it. Yeah. So he
- 51:08Speaker 1: was just already like so angry that he wasn't like
- 51:12Speaker 1: a Hugh Hefner that he and he could tell that
- 51:14Speaker 1: she is trying to get away from him. And then
- 51:17Speaker 1: very tragically, you know, he lost his mind and murdered
- 51:22Speaker 1: her and killed himself. And so we know that story.
- 51:26Speaker 1: And then, of course, we saw you in the documentary
- 51:29Speaker 1: that is just still people are talking about how. Yeah,
- 51:35Speaker 1: I had nightmares.
- 51:36Speaker 3: Like I always say every night after I watched an episode,
- 51:39Speaker 3: hearing other people's stories.
- 51:42Speaker 1: So when you'd watch it at night, what was the
- 51:44Speaker 1: name of it? The Secrets of Playboy. Secrets of Playboy.
- 51:47Speaker 1: And that was on what network? A & E.
- 51:49Speaker 4: A & E.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Yeah. when that's so interesting, because I think a lot
- 51:54Speaker 1: of it, first of all, if you do dream a lot,
- 51:56Speaker 1: certain people don't dream. I dream a lot. I kind
- 51:59Speaker 1: of had weird dreams last night. And then I wake
- 52:01Speaker 1: up and I'm like, why did I dream such a
- 52:03Speaker 1: weird thing? And then I remember, oh, I, you know,
- 52:06Speaker 1: like around three o'clock, I saw this. And then right
- 52:08Speaker 1: before I went to bed, I saw this. And so
- 52:10Speaker 1: when you when you talked about having these nightmares, so
- 52:13Speaker 1: you'd watch the episodes, it was every week, it would
- 52:16Speaker 1: come out. And like, what, Would you have dreams that
- 52:19Speaker 1: you were back at the house? Yeah.
- 52:21Speaker 3: It would always be the same nightmare that I would
- 52:23Speaker 3: wake up and find myself back in the mansion, back
- 52:25Speaker 3: in that relationship. But inside I'm me, knowing everything I
- 52:28Speaker 3: know now. And my first thought was, how the fuck
- 52:30Speaker 3: do I get out of here? And so it was scary.
- 52:33Speaker 1: That is so interesting. Because like a weird reoccurring nightmare
- 52:38Speaker 1: I've had my whole life, and it's a very common one,
- 52:40Speaker 1: is that I'm back in high school. But I'm, again, me. I'm, like, old.
- 52:46Speaker 1: I've already graduated from college. And while I'm in the
- 52:49Speaker 1: high school, I'm, like, I don't have to take this test. Like,
- 52:52Speaker 1: I already have a career and I already graduated. And
- 52:54Speaker 1: it's weird. And it'll come when I am stressed or
- 52:58Speaker 1: even now with my kids. If my kids are, like,
- 53:01Speaker 1: getting ready for finals or something, like, I absorb their stress. Yeah.
- 53:05Speaker 1: And I'm, like, I can't. So that's so interesting that, like,
- 53:08Speaker 1: that you'd have a dream that you're back there. You
- 53:11Speaker 1: really are like down the rabbit hole. You really are Alice,
- 53:14Speaker 1: like your first book. No, it was scary. Every night
- 53:19Speaker 1: I watched an episode, I would have that nightmare. Oh
- 53:22Speaker 1: my God. So what are some stories that we're going
- 53:25Speaker 1: to see and that you're going to walk us through
- 53:28Speaker 1: as the host?
- 53:29Speaker 3: Well, there are six different stories. They're all very different.
- 53:32Speaker 3: One of them, actually, the murderer was just sentenced a
- 53:35Speaker 3: few days ago. She was sentenced to at least, I
- 53:38Speaker 3: forget what the timeframe was, but it was at least
- 53:39Speaker 3: 10 years.
- 53:41Speaker 1: It was a she who killed?
- 53:42Speaker 3: Yeah, she was a playboy model and she killed a
- 53:45Speaker 3: gentleman who I don't know the exact nature of the relationship,
- 53:48Speaker 3: but he was paying her bills and she was extorting
- 53:51Speaker 3: him and he ended up murdered. It was her and
- 53:54Speaker 3: her two roommates were involved. I'm not sure who exactly
- 53:57Speaker 3: did what. I think that's still to be determined, but
- 54:00Speaker 3: she was just sentenced.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Yeah. So it's very current. Oh, so I mean, it's
- 54:03Speaker 1: not just the girls involved. Kidding. Yeah, I know. It's
- 54:08Speaker 1: every story is so different. That's what's fascinating about it. Yeah.
- 54:11Speaker 1: And then do you cover that other now? I'm not
- 54:14Speaker 1: sure if she was a play. We'll go through a
- 54:17Speaker 1: couple more without killing, you know, without telling us everything.
- 54:20Speaker 1: What are some other ones?
- 54:22Speaker 3: Well, the first episode that really hit home for me
- 54:25Speaker 3: a lot was about a woman named Jasmine Fior. And
- 54:28Speaker 3: what hit home so much for me about that was
- 54:31Speaker 3: she started coming to mansion parties like right after I
- 54:33Speaker 3: had left. And I know some close friends of mine
- 54:37Speaker 3: had some, you know, deep conversations with her about relationships
- 54:40Speaker 3: and knew her well. And, you know, she was also
- 54:43Speaker 3: somebody who spent a lot of time in Vegas. She
- 54:45Speaker 3: lived there part time. So that's something I can relate to. And,
- 54:49Speaker 3: you know, her story is really frightening. It was another
- 54:52Speaker 3: abusive relationship story. There is a story about a woman.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Was she the one? She's the one who was with
- 55:00Speaker 1: her boyfriend in San Diego, right? Yeah, they were in
- 55:03Speaker 1: San Diego. They were in San Diego. And then, you know,
- 55:06Speaker 1: she went, never came home, never came home from the
- 55:10Speaker 1: San Diego. Yeah, he was the one who called the
- 55:12Speaker 1: police and reported her missing. Yes. And then somebody found her.
- 55:15Speaker 1: And then there were evidence of surveillance and of him
- 55:20Speaker 1: doing very suspicious stuff, like leaving the hotel. I remember,
- 55:25Speaker 1: kind of remember the story, like where you, where, you know,
- 55:28Speaker 1: the suitcase and like all this kind of, And yeah,
- 55:34Speaker 1: you know, it's just it's it is an interesting time
- 55:37Speaker 1: because it's like, yeah, it's the it's the kind of
- 55:39Speaker 1: girls that not only are really beautiful, but wanting to
- 55:45Speaker 1: have kind of that flashy life or get into acting
- 55:49Speaker 1: and modeling. And in doing that, you know, you're so
- 55:53Speaker 1: susceptible to meeting people that say they can help you. Yeah. Yeah.
- 55:58Speaker 3: And also sometimes I think, you know, having been in Playboy,
- 56:01Speaker 3: sometimes you'll meet the type of guy who like wants
- 56:04Speaker 3: a Playboy model on his arm, but then he gets
- 56:05Speaker 3: really jealous and wants to like turn that around on
- 56:08Speaker 3: the woman. And, you know, being somebody who's been in
- 56:11Speaker 3: different types of abusive relationships, I like to try and
- 56:13Speaker 3: tell the story and try and bring some humanity to
- 56:15Speaker 3: the victim because I think there's so many people out
- 56:17Speaker 3: there who don't understand why people stay as long as
- 56:20Speaker 3: they do or why they would ever try to make
- 56:22Speaker 3: a relationship work. And I like to talk about those
- 56:25Speaker 3: things and kind of try and bring some perspective to it.
- 56:29Speaker 1: And why do you think when a girl is in
- 56:32Speaker 1: that position that she can't see that she's– I mean,
- 56:37Speaker 1: for one thing, sometimes it's just hard because you do
- 56:40Speaker 1: love the person. This is where you live. There is
- 56:43Speaker 1: something coming up and you don't want to have the
- 56:46Speaker 1: person– and then there's the other part of like that
- 56:48Speaker 1: you are really scared of them. But like what is–
- 56:51Speaker 1: what are your thoughts on like why someone talks themselves
- 56:55Speaker 1: into not– being like, this is it. I don't care
- 56:59Speaker 1: how hard it is to leave. Yeah.
- 57:01Speaker 3: I mean, it's different for different situations. There could be
- 57:03Speaker 3: reasons people feel attached, whether it's kids or whether it's
- 57:06Speaker 3: a financial situation. But I think the overarching theme that
- 57:09Speaker 3: applies to a lot of people is they're in a
- 57:11Speaker 3: relationship with another human and it started out really good.
- 57:14Speaker 3: You know, they were probably being love bombed and swept
- 57:16Speaker 3: off their feet in the beginning. And then one bad
- 57:18Speaker 3: thing happens and you can tend to write it off
- 57:20Speaker 3: or brush it off and say, well, that's not really
- 57:22Speaker 3: who they are and it's getting better and we're just
- 57:24Speaker 3: working through things. And when you're in the relationship, it's
- 57:27Speaker 3: hard to see it in the same way that an
- 57:28Speaker 3: outsider would see it. And I think that's another interesting topic, too.
- 57:32Speaker 3: And one I don't even have the answer for is
- 57:34Speaker 3: when you have a friend who's in one of these
- 57:35Speaker 3: abusive relationships, how do you help them? Because like bringing
- 57:38Speaker 3: it back to the Dorothy Stratton story, you know, it
- 57:40Speaker 3: seemed like everybody who talks about her and everybody who
- 57:43Speaker 3: knew her saw the issues with her husband or her
- 57:47Speaker 3: ex-husband at the time. And, you know, he was banned
- 57:49Speaker 3: from the mansion. You know, people were trying to talk
- 57:52Speaker 3: her out of ever seeing him again, but it didn't work.
- 57:55Speaker 3: And It's a really hard thing because you always want
- 57:58Speaker 3: to do the most as a friend. And I don't
- 58:00Speaker 3: even know what the answer to that question is or
- 58:02Speaker 3: how you can help as best you can as a friend.
- 58:04Speaker 3: I mean, from my perspective, I would say just always
- 58:07Speaker 3: be nonjudgmental when you're talking to your friends and always
- 58:09Speaker 3: offer them an ear and tell them that they have
- 58:11Speaker 3: a place to go and that they'll always have your support.
- 58:13Speaker 3: Because I think a lot of people are afraid to
- 58:15Speaker 3: talk to their friends because they're afraid of being judged possibly.
- 58:19Speaker 3: For staying in the relationship or sometimes there's a lot
- 58:21Speaker 3: of shame with, oh, well, I put up with so
- 58:23Speaker 3: much so far that you don't even want to admit
- 58:25Speaker 3: to it.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Yeah. I also think with girlfriends and stuff, the hard
- 58:30Speaker 1: part is sometimes a girlfriend feels like, oh, my God.
- 58:36Speaker 1: You know, I stayed up with you all night. I've
- 58:39Speaker 1: done all this, you know, and you're still there. And
- 58:42Speaker 1: then so what's bad about that is then the friend
- 58:45Speaker 1: then stops sharing because they've chosen to stay. And by
- 58:52Speaker 1: not sharing, now she's really in trouble because if something
- 58:57Speaker 1: goes wrong, she's going to be too embarrassed to then
- 59:01Speaker 1: come back. I think the same thing goes with parents
- 59:04Speaker 1: who don't. really approve of their child's partner, especially when
- 59:09Speaker 1: their child is a girl with a with a guy
- 59:11Speaker 1: because just physically they're in a more vulnerable position and
- 59:14Speaker 1: I think the the way you know you always just
- 59:17Speaker 1: have to be like whatever happens you know I'm always
- 59:22Speaker 1: here for you and by not like Being like, he's
- 59:25Speaker 1: a piece of trash. I told you not to be
- 59:27Speaker 1: with him. That's when they just really, then the alienation
- 59:31Speaker 1: that often happens with the abusive guy where he doesn't
- 59:35Speaker 1: want you. Why would you want to be with them?
- 59:36Speaker 1: They hate me. So it's like, even if you like
- 59:39Speaker 1: kind of don't like your daughter or best friend's spouse
- 59:44Speaker 1: or boyfriend, I always sort of pretended like I did. Like,
- 59:48Speaker 1: especially in their presence. Yeah, because then it can start
- 59:51Speaker 1: a bigger problem for your friend. Yeah.
- 59:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's so important to express, you know,
- 59:56Speaker 3: no matter how many times you've heard it and no
- 59:58Speaker 3: matter how frustrating it might be if your friend isn't
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: making that change, to always express that you're not judgmental
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: and you're always going to be there and you're always
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: there to listen.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Yeah. You know, because then it just turns worse. Yeah,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: you just don't want them to feel like they can't,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: now they can't count on you. So you have to
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: be like, but it also can be very, you know,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: daunting for the friend that feels like they're the dumped
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: on drama one. Yeah. And so it's like, and also
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: in doing that, like, You have to also protect yourself
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: and not get so sucked up into the 3 a.m.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: calls and talk for an hour and a half. And then,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: you know, they'll be like, oh, my God. You know,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: look what she's doing. There is a new movie out
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: that I think you would really like that. We just
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: saw the preview. What is called April Darling? Oh, Alice Darling.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: It's with Anna Kendrick. And we just saw a trailer
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: for it. And it's kind of like a more of
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: a subtle trailer. psychological abuse that someone might find with
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: their partner in that she's got these girlfriends and the
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: girls are like to Anna Kendrick, so it's my birthday.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: We're all, we got a lake house. We're all going
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: to go up to Northern California this week. And so
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you can come, right? And she's like, yeah. And then
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: she's figuring out how she is going to tell her
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: boyfriend or significant other. I can relate to that so bad.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Not now, but like in the past.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: So she's like practicing it and kind of saying like
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: it's a work thing. Oh, you remember I told you
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: about that thing. Well, it did come up. So now
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I have to go. And because she just doesn't want
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: to get the shit from him. But then she also knows.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: And then the girlfriends are like kind of on to it.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: They're like, what do you mean you're leaving? And, you know,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: and so, you know, it's just a trailer. But how
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: do you feel like you just said you could relate
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: to that of just like wanting to do something and
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: knowing that it was going to be an issue?
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: To ask oh well living at the mansion that was
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: a constant like there were so many strict rules as
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: far as like you have to be at nine o'clock
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: you can't ever really go anywhere you can't travel so
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: just the feeling of I'm always going to get in
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: trouble and because there were so many girlfriends and at
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: the time at a certain time there were seven and
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: we didn't all get along and we were kind of
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: played off each other like it was a competition you
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: always felt like you're walking on eggshells and you don't
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: want to ask for too much even if it's the
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: basic things and You know, sometimes we would want to
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: go to, like, a playmate's wedding or something, and I'd
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: get shut down because, you know, he wouldn't want me
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: going to the reception or something stupid like that.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: So you would... So he'd be like, you can go
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: to the ceremony, but then you cannot go to the reception.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: Yeah, when he heard me refer to the reception as
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: a party, he freaked out and shut it down. And
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: this was, like, a playmate that we were all really
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: close to that he knew. Like, it shouldn't have been
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: a thing. It was so stupid.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: And so then it was really... I mean, also, isn't
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: that interesting to be in a relationship where you're feeling like,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: you know, like I've been at a job where you're like, oh, God,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I got to ask for this day off. And you
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: keep going through it and you talk. Well, if I
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: say this, if I say it's a slight lie, but
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: like to think that you are doing that with someone
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: who's supposed to be like your supporter.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: No way. That's crazy. And that also that they like.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I'm with a bunch of girls that are like, according
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: to this movie, I was a bunch of girls in
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: a lake house. It's not Vegas. It's not this crazy thing.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: I'm not on a yacht with a bunch of like,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you know, rich Saudi Arabian men. Like it is such
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: an innocent thing, but the man is so like insecure
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: of you being around anybody other than themselves, because they
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: have taken such efforts to manipulate you that they know
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: if you get out of their manipulation for anything, period
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: of time.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: You might be like oh wow the real world yeah
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: take me back is it interesting because it's like you
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: know every day there's like a new cult thing that
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: I see on on Netflix and.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: All the other shows and is it just crazy when
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: you watch those when you see the similarities.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: Yeah, there's definite parallels, like being isolated from your friends
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: and family, being in an environment where everybody in that
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: environment kind of looks to one person like they're this
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: semi-godlike figure.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: It's crazy. Yeah, and also the pitting against. Yeah, pitting
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: the girls against each other. That was a big one.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: And do you think that was always his intention? Because
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: he didn't always have seven girlfriends.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: I think for him, it was just this kind of
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: evolution with this insecurity. You know, he got out of
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: a marriage and he was dating three women. And then
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: they left. And then he was dating seven women. And
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: I think he started to notice that none of them
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: were really lasting very long. So then it became, OK,
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: how can I manipulate to get what I want out
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: of the situation and get them to stay as long
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: as possible?
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: And, you know.
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: And I do think so often when it is your
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: actual living situation, like, you know, one of the things
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I was looking at back at the last episode you
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: guys did is just how you said, you know, I
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: was kind of like, I was hanging out at the
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: mansion all the time. And so I was familiar with
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: that these girls got to live there. And I actually
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: was in a place, a financial place, and needing a
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: place to live. And I think that is such a
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: thing that people don't really understand. And then if you
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: were to have left... And gone back home than any
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: progress you made in your dreams of wanting to model
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: and act and be in entertainment are gone. Yeah.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: And plus, I was always very aware that once I
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: left the mansion, even before the reality show, I knew
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: that the one thing everybody would always know about me
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: was that I lived at the Playboy Mansion. So it's
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: almost like you're going back, but not even where you started.
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: It's almost like you're set back a little bit because
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: you have this reputation. So that was a big fear
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: for me, too.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Right. And then just like the whole thing of like, well,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: I don't think there's a lot of sympathy.
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: No.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Because, you know, obviously you're with this older guy, you're
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: getting all these perks, you know. So I think that was,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: you know, a big a big deal of like not
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: being sympathetic to women in your position, you know. Yeah,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: for sure. OK, so tell me a couple. Tell me
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: about another one that you guys feature. Which ones haven't
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: I talked about? We talked about the Dorothy Stratton and
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: the Jasmine. Yeah.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Another one that I thought was a really sad case
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: was there was a woman in the early 90s who
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: was a Playmate of the Month.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: She was married. Her husband was super supportive. She was
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: like on track to become Playmate.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Of the Year.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Wait, was she married? while she became the Playmate of
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: the Month.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Isn't that quite unusual? It is very unusual.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: And she had a pageant title. She was Mrs. Ohio.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: And Playboy always liked it when they could get like
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: a pageant girl because that was really unusual.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Right. And that's a little like cleaner cut. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: And somebody who was already like ordained by somebody else
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: as being like really beautiful. So they were really excited
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: about that. She was on track to become Playmate of
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: the Year. And I was really surprised to learn this
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: is back in the early 90s, They had a 1-900
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: number that people could call to vote for who they
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: thought should be Playmate of the Year. But also they
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: had the Playmates talking to men over the 1-900 number,
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: which to me, that was shocking. It seemed so off brand.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: Like there's nothing wrong with talking to people over a
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: 1-900 number if that's what you want to do. But
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: it just didn't seem very on brand to me. And
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: they would have the Playmates talking to these men over
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: 1-900 number. And The way this woman's husband got killed
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: was by an obsessed stalker who would call this one
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: playmate all the time. He racked up like $ 15, 000 in
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: 1991 money calling this number.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: And I wonder how much she was even getting paid.
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Probably such a small portion. I would assume so.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: And he found her location through the 1-900 number and
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: ended up killing her husband.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Yeah.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: And then Playboy just kind of cut ties with her.
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: Like she didn't get Playmate of the Year. It was
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: just kind of like left on her own. Right, because
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: it's such a bad PR situation.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: I feel like that from the documentary, the A &
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: E documentary, just so many things of just like, no,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: we don't want that. No, we don't care that this
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: person was assaulted. We don't care, you know, just whatever
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: way we can just keep it quiet, ship that person off,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: not have them talk, you know. And I also thought
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: what was so interesting about your situation and some of
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: the other women is that you always thought like I
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: thought sitting at home when you see like a, you know,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Jenny McCarthy or anybody of like, oh, my God, it's
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: such a great stepping stone. Yeah, absolutely. Such a great
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: stepping stone, such, you know, like to do other things.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: But like anything, sometimes in certain businesses, if you're like
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: you're too good at your job, we don't want you
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: to fly off. So the fact that he like liked
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: having you as you know around and his girlfriend whatever
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: he wouldn't really he wouldn't i mean then you got
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: the tv show but like i think with other women
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: that he was with that she would they would think
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: like oh my god i finally i got an agent
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: and i'm actually going out for a part and then
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: all of a sudden like then the girl would get
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: a call that oh actually that was cast okay well
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: at least I have an agent he'll be sending me
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: out again and then never sends her out again because
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Hugh picked up the phone and was like no she's
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: not going to be on Three's Company yeah like no
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: way or whatever she's my girlfriend what the hell are
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: you doing if you ever want to come back to
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: the mansion you better not poach any of my girls
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: without going through me first if it's one I don't
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: care about great have her be the star let her
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: you know but if it's somebody I want and Mike realm,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I don't know that I want them to be a
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: big star and leave me.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: When we were on the show, we weren't allowed to
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: have outside agents or management or anything like that. Or
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: if we would get offers to do certain things, like
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: they would say no. You know, I remember Bridget got
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: like some offer to host at a club in Vegas
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: for a lot of money and they told her she
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: couldn't do it and stuff like that.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: That's such a pain because wasn't that just the best,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: easiest gig ever? Yeah, 100%. Yeah. I remember when that was, like,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: such a big deal with, like, you girls and, like,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: the Kardashians and stuff. And at the time I was
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: doing stand-up and I was like, will I ever get
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: to a place where I can just be like, what?
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: It's my birthday! No, it was so easy.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: You would literally show up for an hour and get
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: paid so much money.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Like how much? Like $ 20, 000? Yeah, easily. And for, like,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: a New Year's Eve, like $ 75, 000 or up. And when
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: you would get these opportunities, did you know, like, hey–
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: This could be the start of something or this could
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: be the end. I better take my money when I can.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: What was your attitude about it? What did you think
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: the future would be when you were getting these lucrative things?
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: Well, I wasn't really getting any offers coming to me
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: when I was at the mansion. I had no agent
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: or anything like that where that could come through. But
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: when I left the mansion, I was just like in
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: survival mode, like hit the ground running. Like I need
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: to have a career yesterday.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Yeah. And, you know, I did a pretty good job
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: with that. But like I realized like.
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: When I decided to leave the mansion, I didn't necessarily
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: think that there would be anything waiting for me or
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: that anything would be easy.
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: So.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: When you left the mansion and then you pretty much
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: got your show about Vegas and was– did they come
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: and go, hey, we're going to build a show around
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: you and the opportunity we have for you is this
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: show in Vegas? Or did you have– or did the
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Vegas people come and say we want you– what was
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: the name of your– Your show, the people like what
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: came first, the chicken or the egg? Like what?
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: I got the show on my own in Vegas. And
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: then I was trying to shop a reality show of
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: my own around. But then comes to find out the
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: contract I had to sign when I was on Girls
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: Next Door said that if he were to pick up
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: the show with me, it had to be produced by
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: the same producer that did Girls Next Door. So there
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: was always still kind of that connection because he was
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: very close friends with half. But that was the only
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: producer I could use if he wanted to pick up
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: the show. But the show was my idea. Like I
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: pitched it and everything.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: And he did pick it up. And what was that
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: like doing like a live show like that all the time?
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: Was it exhausting? Did you love it? It was so fun.
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: I mean, it was very exhausting because to make a
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: show of that size work, you kind of have to
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: be there like six days a week, five days a week,
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: depending on what time of year it was. There were
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: only certain times a year I could take like a
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: week off, like never in the summer. You had to
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: like max out the busy seasons, but it was so
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: much fun. It was exactly what I wanted to do.
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: It was kind of like the last show of its
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: kind in Vegas. And it was really fun.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: And when you think about like, what are your thoughts?
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Because I'm just thinking about it now. Like the years
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: that Brittany worked as the lead of a show, like
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: how exhausting that is. And now You know, with what's
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: going on with her and what she tries to reveal
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: of like, I never got to have coffee. I never
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: got to go to the spa. Like, did you have
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: any relations with her? Because weren't you both at Planet Hollywood?
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but she started right after I quit. So I
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: did go see her show, but we weren't like living
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: there at the same time or anything.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: And when all that was, did you have any idea? Like,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: we knew she was in a conservatorship, but I don't
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: think we had any idea that it was so, I
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: don't know, that she was so being... seen as a
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: workhorse that maybe didn't want to work that hard. I
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: think that's like the biggest thing for me is like,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: I think when she was doing it, I was like, oh,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: this is great. You know, good for her. She can
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: stay in one place. How easy must that be?
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: And it breaks my heart that that wasn't fun for
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: her because it was so much fun for me when
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: I had a show like that. And I went to
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: see her show and, you know, her music and everything.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: It brings so many people so much joy. I had
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: a blast and it just breaks my heart that she
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: wasn't allowed to like feel that or have fun for herself.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: And I really wonder like, when people, what now? And
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I'm like, I really don't know that she's ever going
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: to really perform because I don't know that she'll ever really,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: not that she won't be capable, but like, cause I
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: think she'd be capable if she wanted it. I just
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: don't know that she'll ever want to work that hard
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: because she feels so. She's done her whole life. Like, yeah.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Felt so like abused by it of like just every day,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: every day doing it. And then like, So I think
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: we feel like, what's she doing? And she's like, you know,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: I'm like, you know what? This might just be it
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: for her. Let her live. She deserves to just like
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: romp in the valley. Yeah. I mean, listen, I'm very
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: involved in trying to figure out what really is it.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: And then at the other hand, I'm like. If you,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: you know, I follow her. I see, like, she still
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: has so many followers. But I see, like, once in
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: a while I'll chuckle, like, oh, she lost 100,000. Yeah.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Some people are just like, I don't know if I
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: feel right about this, whatever, you know. It feels voyeuristic
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: watching Instagram, even though obviously she knows she's putting it
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: out there, whoever is on her Instagram putting it out there.
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: But something about it feels voyeuristic. Like, I follow her,
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: but sometimes I see stuff on my feed and I
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: feel like, I don't know.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: Sometimes every once in a while you'll see a post
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: and you feel like, I feel like I shouldn't be
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: seeing that for some reason.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: I don't know why. Yeah, that feeling. Yeah, I totally agree.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Do you think you'll ever be like another type of
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Playboy situation? Because the magazine now has been gone for
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: how many years? Oh, my gosh, I don't know. I'm
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: so confused on what happened. What happened? Then the boys
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: took over his son took over for like a minute.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: And now it's like nobody from the family's involved, I think.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: And then at one point, I felt like it was
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: like Playboy, but it was like, not as nude or
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: something for a minute while they didn't have nudity and
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: then they went back to nudity and then I think
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: the magazine stopped and now it's like only fans I'm
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: kind of confused though I don't really know yeah but
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: like there really is no more.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: Playboy yeah I mean as far as another situation like
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: that do you mean like Hef's personal life or do
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: you mean like.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: The magazine I kind of mean like I just I
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: kind of think there really won't be I think what's
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: interesting about You know, like I guess nude modeling in general,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: it's like what's good is that it's really in the
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: hands now of the creators. And that's so much better because,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: you know, especially in watching... the show and that, you know,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: they would take all these test shots. Yeah. And then
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: later on, 10 years later, the girl finds out the
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: test shots are being made into a poster and she's
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: not getting a dime. And, but you, you know, while
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: she's getting her hot rollers in, okay, sign this. And
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: of course, like you're getting a thousand for the day.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: You're not having an attorney, you know, for 1500, look
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: at it. Like who the hell is. And if you did,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: if you probably asked any questions, they'd probably be like,
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: this is the last time we're using you. You're not
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: really very cooperative and happy to be here. So, you know,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: it's so crazy to me. I think about the women
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: who chose to pose in the 70s. And back then,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: it's like you're posing for this magazine. It's like the
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: best of that kind of magazine. It's out for one month.
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: If anybody wants to see the nudes after that, they've
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: got to go to a library in the adult section.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: They never knew what the internet was going to be
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: or that their news would be so accessible to anyone
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: for the rest of their lives.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Like that blows my mind. Yeah. And I remember during it,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: there was some Twitter back and forth with Hef's last wife.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Flying monkeys. Oh, wait, what's the flying?
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: Flying monkeys is a term for like a narcissistic abuser.
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: Like his cronies and his followers will like come after you.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: And attack you.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Oh, and they were coming after you? Oh, I mean,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: that's always been a thing.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: But I'm sure probably coming after everybody else who spoke
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: out too. Yeah. So Chris with Crystal. Crystal then said,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I found all these. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's a
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: good thing. I thought you were talking about her other.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: I destroyed them. Have you had any contact with her?
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: Yeah, we've touched base over Instagram a little bit.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: We haven't had any like deep conversations. You're like men person. No,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: but like I thanked her for that and everything. I
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: don't know.
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: Where his actual scrapbook stands.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Like, I really don't know.
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: I didn't ask what picture she's referring to because he
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: had like, you would go up to the third level
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: in the house and he would have a room that
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: was just the floor, like a room this size, the
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: floor would be covered with just prints and pictures. So
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: she might've meant those. She might've been like, yuck, what
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: am I looking at? Throw those in the dumpster. I
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: don't know if she meant like the scrapbooks because he
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: would keep a scrapbook of every night when he was
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: out with these women. And there would be women who
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: were just come out to test for Playmate that maybe
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: didn't get the job or he never saw again with
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: like nudes and all these like compromising photos.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: And what kind of was it like a Polaroid? What
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: the hell was it? Like a disposable camera. And so like, yeah,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: so you could have just been some girl that got
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: wasted one night and was like, that was fucking wackadoo.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: I'm leaving. Yeah, never got anything out of it.
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: But then who knows, years later, somebody could be accessing
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: his scrapbooks and you've got the girl's first and last
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: name and some weird picture that she doesn't remember taking.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: It's creepy. Yeah. So what else is going on with you?
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: You have two kids. I have two kids. They're amazing.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: So just kind of trying to balance that, just any
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: work stuff and like mom and I, You know, when
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: I'm in one mode, I'm completely in mom mode. And
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: then when I'm in work mode, I'm completely in work mode.
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: So I kind of feel like I'm two different people.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: But that's fine.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: And what is with your dating life? I have a boyfriend.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I've had a boyfriend for three years. Yeah. Did we
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: talk about this last time? Maybe. I think you were
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: like very secretive. Are you still very secretive?
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: Kind of.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Like we're not like, I mean, I've been in enough
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: cheesy ass public relationships to just not want to do that.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Didn't you date the magician? Yeah.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: So this boyfriend that you've had for three years, so
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: you kind of keep this a little bit private. And
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: is it hard? So you don't talk about your relationship
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: or anything on your podcast or anything like that? Not really.
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: Like sometimes something casual will come up if Bridget and
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: I are talking about our week and I'll be like, oh,
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: me and my boyfriend went and did this, like casual stuff.
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: But I don't go into like, I don't know, deeper issues.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Because she's been and she's been with her guy forever.
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: She's been engaged for a long time. Yeah. Yeah. And
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: so with the show, now that you've like really kind
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: of covered stuff, like what's going on now in like,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: what are you covering now in the podcast that is
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: keeping you guys interested and talking still and everything?
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: Well, every episode brings up something totally different. Like I
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: started to review episodes on my YouTube and I was
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: surprised how every episode kind of brought up a different
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: relevant topic. So it just depends on what that episode
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: brings up. Like the next episode we're going to talk
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: about is the first time we ever posed nude for
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: the magazine.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: So there's that. And there's the fact that we thought
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: we were going to be blurred. Was that the three
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: of you guys together? I kind of remember that. Yeah.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: And I mean, that's another thing, too, is like he
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: would only let us pose together. Like in the end,
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: we got to do some stuff by ourselves. But that
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: always felt kind of weird. Like it was almost like
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: he was telling us we weren't equal to like one playmate.
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: It's like we're only good the picture's only worth it
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: if we're all together or something.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: So that kind of felt a little weird. Yeah, like
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: the fact that you guys were part of the show
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: was almost like you would think... That you would be
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: at the, you know, yes, you'd all be like playmate
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: of the year. And yes, you'd all be like, but
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: instead it was like the opposite. Yeah, because I think
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: he still kind of wanted to keep us in our place. Yeah.
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: Because for the first pictorial, the studio had us shoot
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: like individual sets that kind of like expressed our personalities
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: a little bit and then together. But of course, he
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: never used like the individual pictures.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: And then there's other things that came up in that episode.
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: Like Bridget asked the cameras to go away so she
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: could have like a private discussion with Hef.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: And they did. The cameras exited.
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: But because she was still mic'd up, they used her
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: audio anyway and just put it over, like, other footage of, like,
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: the back of her head without her permission. So she
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: thought she was having this private conversation. It's just, like,
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: every episode is something. Yeah.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: So it's a lot of fun to get into. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: that's great that you're just, like, going through it and everyone's, like,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: loving it. Well, I'm so excited you came back. I'm
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: excited for this. Thanks for having me. For this. And,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: I mean, hopefully, you know, there'll be other– Like genres
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: of stuff that you can cover and get into. And like,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: you know, because I just think there's always just something
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: so fascinating. I think it does get us. It is
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: a juicier story when the girl is glamorous and was
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: putting herself out there. Yeah. You know, whether it was
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Playboy or something else. And like it would get more
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: press and we are more intrigued by it because there's
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: like these other elements of Hollywood and whatnot and what
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: could have been. And like, you know, if she wasn't
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: pursuing entertainment, you know, would she have put herself in
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: this vulnerable position? Probably not. If she was just like
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: working at it, you know, working at some normal job,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: she wouldn't be like, sure, I'll come out. you know,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: out in the woods to do this shoot by myself,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: you know, like every little thing, you're just like, the
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: jobs are so few, far in between that you put
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: yourself in this, like. Yeah.
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: I'm so fascinated with any like Hollywood related true crime stuff. Like, yeah,
