- 1:33Speaker 1: I would like to thank the listener who left the
- 1:35Speaker 1: following review, oh with the headline of meeting the yearly goal.

- 2:21Speaker 1: make them, girl beel old relatable, We're relatable. I like that. Hey,
- 2:27Speaker 1: let's hear a synopsis of Loving the Clouds.

- 2:34Speaker 2: air balloon pilot Jared, who offers romantic balloon rides but
- 2:38Speaker 2: is closed off to love himself.

- 3:42Speaker 1: the Star Trek Universe. This is her first appearance on Hallmark.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Remember how we just talked about Passions with Jesse Metcalf.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I was floored when I saw that she was in
- 3:53Speaker 1: over over one thousand episodes of a soap I've never
- 3:57Speaker 1: even heard of before. Don't remember I remember a real weird,
- 4:01Speaker 1: an odd soap And what's so funny? I told you this,
- 4:06Speaker 1: but you know we saw Jesse Metcalf on chess Peak Shores.
- 4:09Speaker 1: He was then on one of my favorite radio shows,
- 4:11Speaker 1: Jeff Lewis.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Live just by coincidence, by coincidence, and you enjoyed his interview.
- 4:17Speaker 1: He was promoting a skincare line.
- 4:19Speaker 2: What Jesse Metcalf has a skincareline?
- 4:22Speaker 1: I can't remember the name of it. We'll Lincoln in
- 4:23Speaker 1: the show notes interesting. Interesting.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Paul Green takes on the role of Jared with forty
- 4:29Speaker 2: five acting credits. Hallmark fans will likely recognize him as
- 4:33Speaker 2: doctor Carson Shepherd from Wind Calls the Heart. He's also
- 4:37Speaker 2: been in Hallmark favorites like Christmas Ceo, My Favorite Wedding,
- 4:43Speaker 2: and Anything for Love.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Primetime Emmy Award nominee. Gail O'Grady plays Jane with one
- 4:49Speaker 1: hundred nine acting credits. Gail is best known for her

- 5:00Speaker 1: and Criminal Minds. Lorenzo Lames plays Brad with an impressive
- 5:05Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty seven acting credits. He's had major
- 5:09Speaker 1: roles in shows like Falcon Crest, Renegade, Air America, and
- 5:14Speaker 1: The Bold and the Beautiful. He's even lent his voice
- 5:17Speaker 1: to the animated series Phineas and Ferb. Love in the
- 5:20Speaker 1: Clouds was originally titled Love in the Air. The movie
- 5:23Speaker 1: was filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in December twenty twenty four.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Let's take a quick break and we'll come right back
- 5:29Speaker 1: with our first impressions of Love in the Clouds. Deep breath, Wendy,
- 5:41Speaker 1: what is your first impression of Love in the Clouds?
- 5:44Speaker 2: My first impression is what in the world was Hallmark
- 5:48Speaker 2: thinking when they acquired this one?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Just really going for it.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I don't have nice things to say, guys, buckle up.
- 5:55Speaker 1: My first impression is silence. You're dang cell phone, Brooklyn.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Oh, that's such like a interesting take on a movie
- 6:05Speaker 2: that was terrible, I know, but it kept going off
- 6:09Speaker 2: at an opportune times.
- 6:11Speaker 1: The woman is a reporter. Do you think in the
- 6:13Speaker 1: middle of a segment, she can have her phone like
- 6:15Speaker 1: do do do Do Do Do Do Do do do
- 6:17Speaker 1: do do? It was giving love actually, and Laura Lenny
- 6:21Speaker 1: and I wanted her to just put it on silence.
- 6:24Speaker 1: That is boomer behavior right there, keeping your phone ringing?
- 6:28Speaker 1: Is this Chaco Boomer? I don't think so. My point
- 6:32Speaker 1: is silence your phone. Yeah, I hear you. Okay, Well,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I think, like me, your likes segment might be small.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I have just three things. That's more than I have.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Let's hear it. Okay.
- 6:45Speaker 2: The first one is the best thing I liked about
- 6:48Speaker 2: this movie, where the balloons and Albuquerque.
- 6:50Speaker 1: It added some much needed visual stimuli one hundred percent
- 6:56Speaker 1: to this and I was excited to learn that this
- 6:58Speaker 1: balloon f Yes, it is an actual thing. Yeah, that's
- 7:01Speaker 1: my number one. Like the balloon footage. Great. I liked
- 7:05Speaker 1: how the hot air balloon news segment. That was the
- 7:08Speaker 1: most interesting part to me. We learn about how balloons fly,
- 7:12Speaker 1: why Albuquerque, New Mexico is good for ballooning. Are you
- 7:16Speaker 1: laughing at how balloons fly? I'm laughing that this is
- 7:19Speaker 1: our biggest takeaway from this. Well, that was the most
- 7:21Speaker 1: enjoyable part for me, and I thought well that makes sense.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Like hot air, ballooning terrifies me. I will never do it,
- 7:28Speaker 1: but it was helpful to learn that the predictable weather
- 7:31Speaker 1: patterns in Albuquerque are what make this a place where
- 7:35Speaker 1: ballooning is popular.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Speaking of that b roll, I noticed they have the balloon,
- 7:43Speaker 2: the actual I don't even know what the balloon part was,
- 7:47Speaker 2: laid out on the ground, and then they had the
- 7:49Speaker 2: basket tipped over. I was like, how do you get
- 7:52Speaker 2: into it? You don't get climb into it when it's
- 7:54Speaker 2: tipped over sideways.
- 7:55Speaker 1: No, I think you get like hoisted up. So maybe
- 7:57Speaker 1: they have like a little stool, but I think they
- 8:01Speaker 1: have a stool.
- 8:01Speaker 2: And then I was wondering, all is the balloon pilot
- 8:07Speaker 2: plus like his second hand man that was helping. And
- 8:11Speaker 2: then let's just say, like the two people in the
- 8:14Speaker 2: at the top of the movie that was are all
- 8:16Speaker 2: four of those.
- 8:16Speaker 1: People in the balloon basket? Where else would they be?
- 8:22Speaker 2: Well, I don't know if like that the second hand
- 8:24Speaker 2: man is also in the basket.
- 8:26Speaker 1: At the same time, I think you only need one pilot.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I thought maybe the guy was like on
- 8:31Speaker 2: the ground helping and like you know, like land it
- 8:35Speaker 2: there's nothing.
- 8:36Speaker 1: You know, if you were paying close attention, you would know.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Once you're in the air, there's nothing to be done.
- 8:41Speaker 1: All you can do is go up and down. You
- 8:42Speaker 1: cannot control anything other than going up or going down.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but then when they're landing, is there like you know,
- 8:49Speaker 2: like when an actual.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Airplane lands, like there's like a person to like direct
- 8:53Speaker 1: You should see Wendy with her with her airplane hand
- 8:58Speaker 1: signals right now? What you know, I talk? Do you
- 9:01Speaker 1: see tiktoks with the people doing like bringing in the airplanes? No, stressful,
- 9:05Speaker 1: I don't like flying. I don't need to. They're not bringing
- 9:07Speaker 1: they're like parking the planes. There's not a person on
- 9:09Speaker 1: the runway landing the planes like that. No, it's only
- 9:12Speaker 1: when they're parking or backing up. No, they don't help
- 9:15Speaker 1: it land. And when they landed the basket, the balloon,
- 9:19Speaker 1: you saw it, He's like, it's gonna be rough. Nothing
- 9:21Speaker 1: we can do about it, like just brace for impact. Basically,
- 9:24Speaker 1: so the only thing the person on the ground can
- 9:26Speaker 1: do is drive the truck to the pick up location.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Okay, here's my other question. If all these people are
- 9:32Speaker 2: in this small little basket and say like this couple
- 9:35Speaker 2: that is gets engaged at the beginning of this movie.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you're like hip to hip.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, excuse me, We're having a romantic moment.
- 9:43Speaker 2: And then like I was.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Like pilot, but here it is right here.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that just seems bizarre to me. Like I've never
- 9:52Speaker 2: been on a hot air Boland, I have no desire to.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I would watch from the ground.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I think that it was very pretty from the ground. Yes,
- 10:01Speaker 1: do you want me to go on with my life? Sure.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Paul Green as Jared clearly easily the standout in this movie.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I feel like he has a warmth and he has
- 10:14Speaker 2: a nice smile. I liked him, but I thought everything
- 10:20Speaker 2: else about this movie was just.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Nonsense. Yeah, I liked Paul Green too. There was so
- 10:28Speaker 1: much to distract from Paul Green in this movie. Paul
- 10:31Speaker 1: Green is enjoyable, but it's not enough. I liked the
- 10:35Speaker 1: inclusion of Paws and Stripes, an actual organization that pairs
- 10:37Speaker 1: veterans with service dogs, and it is an organization based
- 10:40Speaker 1: in Albuquerque, so they gave them a nice little shout
- 10:43Speaker 1: out during Great Loon Festival fair. I like that, well done?
- 10:48Speaker 1: Was that your only Like? I have also said other things.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Okay, I have one more. I didn't hate Lorenzo.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Lamis the dad. Yeah, Brooklyn's dad. And where's why I
- 11:00Speaker 1: have Brooklyn's dead.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Oh, you're right, I have Brooklyn's dead. Paul's not Paul's dad,
- 11:06Speaker 2: Jared's dad.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Look, I found it believable that this man would be
- 11:11Speaker 2: retired and depressed.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Yes, And I was like, that's what this movie should
- 11:15Speaker 1: have been about. Like, that would have been so much
- 11:17Speaker 1: more into your His parents were so much more compelling
- 11:20Speaker 1: to me. I related to them so much more. This
- 11:22Speaker 1: goes back to listeners of our generation. We'll understand. Yeah,
- 11:27Speaker 1: the dynamic of their marriage has changed, the dynamic of
- 11:30Speaker 1: his life has changed. They're struggling with that. I bought
- 11:33Speaker 1: it all. But that is where my likes end. Well,
- 11:37Speaker 1: let's talk wishes. Okay, jump in. Well, I'm gonna start small.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I hate Mary and her dedication to professionalism while also
- 11:44Speaker 1: encouraging her reporter to become like the National Inquirer and
- 11:47Speaker 1: dig up dirt on a business owner that nobody knows
- 11:49Speaker 1: or cares about.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Brooklyn's boss is my number one dislike of this movie.
- 11:55Speaker 1: The story his past is only compelling if anybody has
- 12:00Speaker 1: a clue who he is. Nobody cares that a stranger
- 12:06Speaker 1: doesn't believe in love, right, right, My notes say, your
- 12:11Speaker 1: reporter is there to cover the balloon festival. That is
- 12:15Speaker 1: the story, not.
- 12:19Speaker 2: The love life or whatever of somebody.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Who small lives matter people. I'm not suggesting that your
- 12:27Speaker 1: life needs to be big and you need to be
- 12:28Speaker 1: famous for your life to be important. It's not newsworthy
- 12:32Speaker 1: my life. The details of my life are important to me, right.
- 12:35Speaker 1: But that's what made me laugh too.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Is like Jared bro who he calls the boss and
- 12:42Speaker 2: is like, yeah, you can come interview, but don't ask
- 12:44Speaker 2: me any of these questions. You're not Lady Gaga. You
- 12:47Speaker 2: don't get like, uh, what makes you think that anybody
- 12:51Speaker 2: is going to be interested?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and now you've given her the information, it's like,
- 12:57Speaker 1: don't look inside this box. Well I didn't care it
- 13:01Speaker 1: was in the box until you told me not to
- 13:02Speaker 1: look there.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Right exactly. Well, I thought that was so stupid that
- 13:05Speaker 2: what's her name again? Mary?
- 13:07Speaker 1: Yep, that's my notes saying, I don't know. She was so.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Comically awful, like awful as a boss. And first Brooklyn
- 13:15Speaker 2: just like took it. I was like, have some self
- 13:19Speaker 2: respect first, of all, like, look, I know we're watching
- 13:22Speaker 2: a want I'm not even calling this a Hallmark movie
- 13:25Speaker 2: because this is not a Hallmark movie. It aired on Hallmark,
- 13:29Speaker 2: not a Hallmark movie. But this boss was like so
- 13:34Speaker 2: rude and awful terrible.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Agree, I'm like, how do you live with yourself acting
- 13:42Speaker 2: like that?
- 13:43Speaker 1: She's the worst.
- 13:44Speaker 2: She was terrible, and I just hated, like make it
- 13:47Speaker 2: make sense to me, Like she was like, oh, that's
- 13:50Speaker 2: the story I want you to go after. I was like,
- 13:53Speaker 2: that is so dumb on so many levels.
- 13:56Speaker 1: It's not compelling.
- 13:58Speaker 2: You live in Seattle. I get they're covering a balloon festival, fiesta.
- 14:03Speaker 2: It's a big deal, happens every year, right, but people
- 14:07Speaker 2: from Seattle are not going to care about like whatever
- 14:12Speaker 2: this mystery situation. If it's that, it's a good.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Point, like why are they sending this reporter from Seattle
- 14:19Speaker 1: to report on this in like it does it have
- 14:23Speaker 1: enough national interest?
- 14:27Speaker 2: Is does she work for like the nightly news or
- 14:31Speaker 2: is it like a you know, like back in the
- 14:33Speaker 2: morning set.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Yeah, is that what we're talking about? I don't know.
- 14:38Speaker 1: They may have said, but it didn't stick with me. Okay.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Brooklyn's career path is super confusing to me.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Yeah, shouldn't the business beat be more prestigious than the
- 14:51Speaker 1: lifestyle beat? I would think so. I say this as
- 14:56Speaker 1: a person who makes lifestyle content. So summer down people, Yeah.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I didn't understand. The boss was mad because Brooklyn was
- 15:05Speaker 2: covering like a coffee spot a business, right, but it
- 15:08Speaker 2: was her approach was to lifestylely.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Yeah, what it was like too casual? No, no puns.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I hated all those puns too, but like one is enough. Yeah,
- 15:21Speaker 2: one is enough everybody. But it didn't make sense to me.
- 15:25Speaker 2: I just did not understand, Like what she was so
- 15:28Speaker 2: eager about moving, wanting.
- 15:32Speaker 1: To move into a lifestyle space. I don't get it.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I don't get it. Brooklyn needed to at least try
- 15:39Speaker 1: to explain the misunderstanding. She doesn't. She doesn't. That's a
- 15:44Speaker 1: comley sentence, she says, let me explain, and she says,
- 15:47Speaker 1: how much did you hear? But not wait stop, we're adults.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Listen to me for a minute. This is soap opera
- 15:54Speaker 1: acting here. This is like every scene needs to be
- 15:56Speaker 1: drawn out over the course of a week. Well, look
- 15:59Speaker 1: at her, I understand, but it's also it's soap opera directing. Too,
- 16:05Speaker 1: where there are soap opera watchers in my house and
- 16:08Speaker 1: so there a scene is never complete. They'll say like,
- 16:13Speaker 1: what are you doing here? And then they'll stand and
- 16:15Speaker 1: stare at each other, and then they'll cut to the
- 16:16Speaker 1: next scene. That's what it felt like to me because
- 16:19Speaker 1: when Jared hears her on the phone with her boss,
- 16:23Speaker 1: first of all, she's saying, I'm not gonna do a
- 16:25Speaker 1: story about him. That's what she is saying. She walks
- 16:29Speaker 1: outside says what do you hear? And he's like, I'm done.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Not hey, this is so easily handled. She doesn't try. Yeah,
- 16:39Speaker 1: I hear your frustration. He doesn't even ask.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I know, Booms, I know, I have another wish, but
- 16:47Speaker 2: I think it fits here. I felt like this movie
- 16:50Speaker 2: came across as like the writer with somebody who was
- 16:55Speaker 2: trying to replicate what a Hallmark movie is, but at
- 16:59Speaker 2: it's like worst version of it, like it's rough draft
- 17:04Speaker 2: version of it, because and I said earlier, this is
- 17:07Speaker 2: not a Hallmark movie, Like Hallmark has come such a
- 17:10Speaker 2: long way, yeah, and they make really good movies, and
- 17:14Speaker 2: here we have been like tooting the Hallmark horn for
- 17:19Speaker 2: what feels like years about like, oh no, Hallmark is
- 17:22Speaker 2: not your like Grandma's Hallmark anymore. This is your grandma's
- 17:25Speaker 2: Hallmark movie.
- 17:26Speaker 1: This is this so bad? It's good? Like you watch it? No,
- 17:29Speaker 1: this was so bad. It's bad. This was not good
- 17:32Speaker 1: by any means. I agree with you. But it's so
- 17:35Speaker 1: bad that it gives you enough to talk about. It's
- 17:37Speaker 1: so bad that it's entertaining in the fact that there's
- 17:39Speaker 1: so much to talk about, Like, may I go ahead?
- 17:42Speaker 1: The green screen ballooning? Oh okay, I thought.
- 17:45Speaker 2: You were going somewhere else, but okay, oh yeah, I
- 17:47Speaker 2: mean I can talk about that too, we'll get there.
- 17:48Speaker 1: But the green screen ballooning is so bad. I don't
- 17:51Speaker 1: know why they wouldn't do a fool rewrite at that
- 17:53Speaker 1: moment and be like, this is so bad we can't
- 17:55Speaker 1: include it. It's there are some bad GreenScreen moments, and
- 17:59Speaker 1: a lot of these movies we watch, even good movies,
- 18:03Speaker 1: like we're decent movies. Right, this was so bad. It
- 18:07Speaker 1: was like it was like I'm trying, I don't know
- 18:11Speaker 1: the style of animation where there's like a cutout of
- 18:14Speaker 1: an item and it's like wiggling in front of the background. Yeah,
- 18:18Speaker 1: do you understand what I'm talking about I'm doing some
- 18:20Speaker 1: hand motions here, and the fact that they do it
- 18:22Speaker 1: twice and when they do the proposal in the balloon,
- 18:26Speaker 1: it's so bad.
- 18:31Speaker 2: It's so it's embarrassingly bad.
- 18:34Speaker 1: That truly, were this my movie and I saw that,
- 18:37Speaker 1: I'd be like, that's gotta go. We can't. They can't.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I understand. The whole point is that at some point
- 18:42Speaker 1: they got to go up in the balloon, but we
- 18:43Speaker 1: cannot send them up in these balloons.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I'm a little bit concerned because the director of this
- 18:48Speaker 2: movie also directed the Sue Thomas FBI series that We're Oh.
- 18:54Speaker 1: You thought that was gonna be a real Critic's Choice
- 18:57Speaker 1: Award winning No, I don't think so.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I'm like, maybe he can make something good out of it. Like,
- 19:03Speaker 2: but this was terrible, truly terrible. I had a hard
- 19:07Speaker 2: time connecting with any of these characters.
- 19:10Speaker 1: One, the chemistry just was.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Not there between like our two leads, yeah at all.
- 19:15Speaker 2: And two I'm gonna let you talk about it, but
- 19:18Speaker 2: Brooklyn's wig was so freaking distracting that that's all I
- 19:22Speaker 2: could see when she was on screen.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I mean, what else is there to say about it?
- 19:25Speaker 2: It it well on the Hallmark Facebook page.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Lots of people have stuff to say about the.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Wig, and and some people don't even realize it's a wig.
- 19:35Speaker 1: It was a wig, right, I think it's a wig.
- 19:38Speaker 1: But it had real dark roots, which was a real
- 19:40Speaker 1: choice for a wig. I thought, Look like, sometimes life happens,
- 19:44Speaker 1: like your roots get dark. I just I don't understand
- 19:47Speaker 1: that choice on a wig. It's not like like a
- 19:49Speaker 1: smudgie root, like an you know, like that's a look,
- 19:52Speaker 1: that's not what this was. No, this was like your
- 19:54Speaker 1: bleach blonde wow, like it when your hair doesn't move. No,
- 19:58Speaker 1: it was just terrible. It was super distracticed, the heiress
- 20:01Speaker 1: and the handyman all over again. Worse, one hundred times worse.
- 20:06Speaker 1: What is this? What is this woman's name?
- 20:08Speaker 2: Mackenzie Westmore? Yeah, look at IMDb gorgeous picture of her. Yes, yes,
- 20:16Speaker 2: she's so cute, right, she's so cute.
- 20:21Speaker 1: That wig was Oh my gosh, like this hair she
- 20:24Speaker 1: has in her IMDb photo, she must be so mad.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I would be furious. She's like, look at how cute
- 20:31Speaker 1: I am, and look what you did to me.
- 20:34Speaker 2: And that's what anybody is talking about.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Ish.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I mean people are talking about other things too, but
- 20:40Speaker 2: I'm not going to get into it.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Nope, not doing it. Uh, do you have any more wishes?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Because I got lots of digit see that.
- 20:46Speaker 2: No, I'm done, but I do have two digit see
- 20:48Speaker 2: thats go ahead, go ahead.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Well there's a few. Let's start with the fact that
- 20:52Speaker 1: they're dressed like it's the middle of winter, which it's
- 20:54Speaker 1: December in Albuquerque. It was probably cold, right you could
- 20:58Speaker 1: see their breath at times. But the International Balloon Festival
- 21:01Speaker 1: in twenty twenty five will be held in October this year,
- 21:04Speaker 1: so I assume the twenty twenty four festival held around
- 21:06Speaker 1: the same time. The average temperatures in Albuquerque in October
- 21:10Speaker 1: range between a low forty five and a high of
- 21:12Speaker 1: seventy four. Those are not temperatures that warrant full winter
- 21:16Speaker 1: coats and beanies in all of the weather. And my
- 21:18Speaker 1: question is if we have to make our actors sweat
- 21:21Speaker 1: in the summer. This is a this is an acquisition,
- 21:26Speaker 1: so they didn't know when it was going to be aired,
- 21:28Speaker 1: but it's uh chronologically illogical. Sure, and it's part of
- 21:38Speaker 1: the May for Mom's lineup, which, by the way, homemark,
- 21:43Speaker 1: I'd like a do over. Your May for Mom's lineup
- 21:46Speaker 1: includes two acquisitions and three reairs. I feel offended total
- 21:51Speaker 1: four reairs actually with one Jane Mysteries tossed, but that
- 21:58Speaker 1: is just one. The outfits do not match the supposed
- 22:02Speaker 1: time period.
- 22:03Speaker 2: I agree they should have if they were gonna air
- 22:06Speaker 2: this on Hallmark at another time, it should be in
- 22:09Speaker 2: October maybe, but even then maybe November, but then we're
- 22:14Speaker 2: in Christmas and so that wouldn't work.
- 22:18Speaker 1: They just were shoving it in. This was a shoehorn situation.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Seriously, I want to talk about the beanie that Coworka
- 22:28Speaker 2: a lase wears night and day inside it or outside,
- 22:33Speaker 2: always has a beanie on.
- 22:34Speaker 1: It looks like like an elf. Oh that's interesting. Like
- 22:37Speaker 1: at one point it's like folded over and I was like,
- 22:39Speaker 1: that looks like an ELF beanie.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I just felt like costume department was like, we're gonna
- 22:44Speaker 2: lean in on the fact that we're from the Pacific
- 22:47Speaker 2: Northwest and that's what you do. You wear beanies in Seattle.
- 22:51Speaker 2: It just so so stupid to me.
- 22:53Speaker 1: But hers was more like a fashion beanie wasn't keeping her.
- 22:55Speaker 2: It was just like it was like on the yeah
- 22:59Speaker 2: yeah times, like when they're doing that like karate thing,
- 23:03Speaker 2: Why are you wearing a beanie.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I don't understand, Taekwondo. I'm sure somebody will come into
- 23:09Speaker 1: our comments.
- 23:10Speaker 2: It was, yeah, whatever that like martial arts thing that
- 23:13Speaker 2: they were doing during the drone show. Our two leads
- 23:18Speaker 2: are having a conversation and lights are flashing on their
- 23:21Speaker 2: face during the drone show, kind of like you would
- 23:23Speaker 2: see like during fireworks. Yeah, but when they cut to
- 23:25Speaker 2: the drone show, it's not bright enough to be like
- 23:27Speaker 2: flashing bright reds and greens all over their face. They
- 23:30Speaker 2: were like using like a firework effect when one was
- 23:35Speaker 2: not warranted. You thinking like somebody was just like offscreen,
- 23:38Speaker 2: like throwing lasers on their face or something. You know.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe they didn't post. I don't know.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. My last did just
- 23:48Speaker 1: see that.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Is from IMDb. I saw this comment. I did my
- 23:53Speaker 2: own Google research because ages aren't always reported ac on
- 24:00Speaker 2: the internet, which we learned with our friend of the show,
- 24:05Speaker 2: Erica Tuvliy. Yes, but it is reported that Paul Green
- 24:10Speaker 2: is fifty years old. He was born in nineteen seventy four,
- 24:13Speaker 2: and Gail O'Grady, who played his mother, is reportedly sixty
- 24:16Speaker 2: two years old. Born in nineteen sixty three, making her
- 24:19Speaker 2: eleven years older than him.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Well why why why? Because men can be hot and
- 24:25Speaker 1: handsome at any age. Okay, what else do you happen?
- 24:28Speaker 1: My last one is just that the song that plays
- 24:31Speaker 1: during the closing credits was being sung by Paul Green.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Oh that's interesting. That's an interesting take. I didn't catch
- 24:39Speaker 2: that at all.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Well it was. It was notable to me when it
- 24:43Speaker 1: started playing. So I shazammed that, did you? And actually
- 24:46Speaker 1: came up. Yeah, it took a long time. I had
- 24:48Speaker 1: to do it twice. Zam had to think real hard.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I'm having a hard time finding this one. Hey, what
- 24:55Speaker 1: did you rate Love in the Clouds? I gave it
- 24:57Speaker 1: one star for Albuquerque, one and a half star for
- 25:00Speaker 1: the balloon.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I almost gave it zero stars us, Like, could I
- 25:04Speaker 2: get away giving a zero star movie? I don't want
- 25:08Speaker 2: to be a full hater, but this was terrible?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Agree? Okay, thank you for listening to this episode of
