- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: You're listening to the Emerald Flow Show on the voices of Wrestling Podcast Network.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_05]: Welcome to episode eighty-nine of the Emerald Flow Show.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_05]: We're a podcast on the Voice of Wrestling, a podcast network.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_05]: You can cut, catch us on all of your favorite podcasting apps and leave us a five star review on Apple Podcasts if you want to.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_05]: And if you're feeling generous, you can leave us a donation at Voice of Wrestling dot com slash donate and we're also on social media, but we don't really post much there these days on like X and Blue Sky, but Paul we're back.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_05]: Paul, we got a lot to talk about in just one week.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_05]: Just one week, which is a good idea.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_05]: Now that I put everything into the run when I put everything into the run sheet, I'm glad that we came back because it would have been too unwieldly to leave it up a week.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, that would have been like a four hour show.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_06]: Basically, all we would have to basically cut down like a lot of stuff, essentially.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_05]: But we start off with some very interesting and with an interesting announcement on August third at the prestigious Shin Kiba first ring for a zero one show.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_05]: We're getting Masado Tanaka versus Hayabusa and
- 2:45[SPEAKER_05]: The loser leaves zero one.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_05]: Paul is resettled to knock a leaving zero one.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, the only thing that makes sense there, right?
- 2:54[SPEAKER_06]: Like if there even is a finish, right?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_06]: Because it's time for me.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_06]: And at the third minute time limit.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_06]: So I feel like that's the most likely outcome because I mean, they just reform zero one and then to lose like what a still like their biggest draw.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_06]: It's a bad idea and them unmasking the guy.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_06]: They just very obviously put a lot of stock into because I'll just want a fire festival and everything.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_06]: That's also really stupid.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_05]: So it's not lose or leaves, it's tenaka leaves if he loses and high-booked on masks.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_06]: No, but that's what I mean.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_06]: There's also no point, like, why the fuck did you just put in all of this effort, pushing this new higher booster?
- 3:32[SPEAKER_06]: If you're gonna have them then immediately on mask, right?
- 3:35[SPEAKER_06]: Like, that doesn't make any sense either.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_06]: So I feel like if there is a finish tenaka is leaving and but I feel like it's just gonna be a draw.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like then there's no way they're gonna like actually do.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_05]: Well, that just seems incredibly stupid.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, but like, I mean, there's a reason why zero one is ended up with this one.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_05]: And you're doing all this just to fill Shinkiba.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but show to you how badly they're doing.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so that's not in the watch out.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_05]: I just have this feeling that Tonak is leaving.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, might also be the case, right?
- 4:07[SPEAKER_06]: Again, if they're struggling to like, fill Shinkiba, I mean, I would assume Tonak makes at least decent money.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_06]: This new zero one, if you look at it, it's pretty dire.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, exactly.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_06]: Like, there's no way they can actually afford them.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_05]: That's my prediction, but, you know, they could just do a incredibly stupid doublesworth.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_05]: And do that.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_05]: So then we'll go to Noah.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_05]: So just some notes.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_05]: I did some quick number crunching.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_05]: And I wanted to see sort of look at Ozawa's drawing.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_05]: It's basically, since he won the title on the first show the year.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_05]: So in twenty twenty four from June or from January first to July first, Noah had forty seven shows.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_05]: A total of thirty five thousand three hundred forty five and attendance for an average of tenets of seven hundred fifty two and twenty five from the same month from like January to the end of June.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_05]: They had forty four shows thirty five thousand nine hundred and thirty eight in total for an average of tenets of eight hundred and seventeen.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_05]: Now these numbers do not include Monday magic because we've only been given one Monday magic at the time.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_05]: So you can quibble about that, but I don't think that's going to radically change the average attendance because what they're pulling in maybe four hundred people on those Monday magic shows at best.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_05]: And I mean, they're the same building all the way.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_05]: So Paul, what do you think that I mean, what I think is happening is that Noah has downscale their larger shows and they are the kings of cork in these days.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_05]: But I think that somewhat obscures the fact that the jump is not huge, but it is increased or businesses up.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, to me it really is like the fact that like they're not running like half empty big buildings, right?
- 5:51[SPEAKER_06]: Because like you drew draw like like they were drawing like nine hundred sixty people in like Yokohama, Budokan.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_06]: So like and that was last year.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_06]: So and that was in the first half of last year as well.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_06]: So I feel like if you don't have those shows and it's that you just run like Yokohama.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_06]: If you said like you do like yoga, I'm a reading hall right like you draw like three hundred people.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_06]: So like even if like the yoga I'm a Buddha Ken was like half empty and you sell out like the yoga I'm a reading hall and like that's still going to be a difference of like six hundred people.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_06]: So I think that's why the Trump isn't as high as it is because like even if they were drawing badly into the bigger buildings, they were still drawing like more people in the bigger buildings.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_06]: And I think that's then kind of like makes the average for last year look a lot better.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_06]: But would actually be interesting and that's unfortunately basically impossible to do.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_06]: would be to like get essentially like percentage sell out figure is like comparatively year.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_06]: I think that might be like like if you add that to this statistic, I think that would be much more interesting than to see like a day drew more people on average and on average they sold out more of the buildings that they were running as well.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_06]: Which again that's next to a post like that would require like you would have to like I don't yeah You would have to get like the max capacity for all of those buildings essentially that's gonna be tough But I think if you do that I think then you would get a better view of like how big the actual jump was I would say because it has to be seen relative to the schedule that they're running so but you can still say that Osawa is a success
- 7:30[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, oh, yeah.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that's for sure.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, especially given his core console percentage, which is pretty high.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and hey, look, like the moment he was no longer champion, what happened, Hurricane attendance dropped.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_06]: So, you know, I mean, it dropped by like three people, but
- 7:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but that was also a show that didn't have anything announced until right before.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_06]: Sorry, it was for people.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so yeah, those four people were like there's nothing announced.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not coming apparently.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll start with the study voice, twenty to be five on July thirteen real quick, because this show wasn't really some rest of the university, even though it happens.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_05]: after we recorded it or before we recorded it last week, but I'll just say, I watched to costumes of Garada defeating Dike and I've been twelve fifty one by referee stop with a front netlock, front net clock, excuse me.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_05]: That was a solid, nice little match.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_05]: As you could assume, it was like a lot of a knobby, a knob of playing the underdogs being fiery and not staying down in the cigarette, just beating the crap out of him, but it was pretty good.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_05]: And then the main event was Galano defeating Will Cruz and retain the Jc national title in sixteen fifty one with the Wagner driver to make his third defense of that title.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_05]: And I thought that this is another solid main event.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_05]: And they did all of the big boy spots that you were hoping for.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, basically.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, yeah, I'm still not sure uncertain with Galileo.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, he's still quite young, but he is a champion.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_06]: So I kind of have to hold him to I stand it.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_06]: Then I think I really should.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_06]: Like it's right, it's this weird spot where like he doesn't have that much experience.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_06]: And he's still only like twenty two, but like because he is so far up the company, I'm like, I mean, like you said, like it was a decent match, but like I also kind of have higher expectation for the national title.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_06]: But then again, it was also dressed in like a secondary building as well.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_06]: So I guess it was fine, but I'm still, I have still yet to see that Galena can actually go at that top top level though.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_05]: No, he can, I think that's fair to say, but they want him to.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but yeah, I think I just think it's too early.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_06]: Like, and I think maybe that's also why they're like putting his mattress and like the smaller buildings as well.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_06]: So it doesn't because of this.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_05]: Well, they've sort of decided to downcycle the national title because not that like when it started, it was like, you know, it was a proper one be tight.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_06]: Like the first like, I think like Wagner was like the first champion.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_06]: that wasn't a world champion prior to winning that title.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_06]: So like it was very prestigious.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_06]: It was like the word like it wasn't the secondary title.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_06]: It was the one B title.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_06]: And now with Galena, it's very much like I don't even like it doesn't even feel like the secondary title to be on it.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_05]: Well, there's the whole of that were winning it and throwing it down.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, that really hurt it.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_05]: So from there, we go to pro wrestling, Noah, twenty fifth anniversary.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_05]: New departure day one on July, Nineteenth at Quark and Hall for at for one thousand five hundred and ninety six fans for a super no vacancy full house.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_05]: And we began to show with the Amichi Marafuji and Dekio to Sheema, defeating Kenta and Junta Miyawaki in twelve fifty one with the rolling Olympic how part one from Oda Shima on Miyawaki in a surprise to score his first
- 10:56[SPEAKER_05]: Win of his career and I love this match Paul.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_05]: Oh yeah.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_05]: What a great opener.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_05]: Poor Junta though.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean to be fair if it's anybody in this company that this was going to happen to it was always going to be Junta.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_06]: But I did pop big for like when Oda Shima actually got the win.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, absolutely.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you know, it was a big moment in Corrican loves him.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_05]: He's got that crowd in him already.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_05]: But, you know, I mean, I think they're pretty serious about Otashima.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, and they're doing another, I swear this today in the VOW discord, but they're doing another call for recruits to the dojo.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_05]: So, things are looking healthy after a lot of years and nothing on that front.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, for sure.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_06]: Like it seems like whatever change is they made to the dojo.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_06]: are very clearly working out because for a while that it was like nobody ever making it out of there and now like it seems like it like they have like an actual like regular stream of talents like getting pumped out of there which they really desperately need.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_05]: The next up was Dragon Bane Alpha Warfare and super crazy defeating
- 12:04[SPEAKER_05]: Shuhei Tian, a Gucci world cruise in Hajimeo, and nine thirty six with the, uh, poster bane from bane on, um, uh, uh, while this was what it was.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_05]: What a team for the non Mexicans.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, that was that was literally the team of just like, okay, who do we still have left on the roster that doesn't have a match yet?
- 12:29[SPEAKER_06]: You free sure you're a team.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_06]: No, you're if you're wrestling the luchador's go not like go there.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, the match.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, match with nothing.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, match was only man.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_05]: It was so a decade now, but Saxon Huckling, you know, could cuchy defeat Eucasusaki, Amasuka, Aida, and Black Let's rate in nine, forty five one.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_05]: So I use the Dando on mensore and boy did that.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_05]: That's a rave or sell this one.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_06]: I'm still, I don't know, I'm still disappointed on the way this whole, like, mentally run and Noah is going.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_06]: Like, it just doesn't work.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_06]: It's weird.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_05]: No, it doesn't work.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_05]: They haven't even more comedic than they had them in all Japan.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_06]: Because he had a serious moment in all Japan, but like, they're not, like, basically, he would do, like, his matches, like, half comedy, half series.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_06]: And now it's just all comedy.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so in the most serious promotion.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, this wasn't much at either.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_05]: But then we go to Tacos, Sugar and Dogga, defeating Tetsuya and doing it so she could tell again, nine, twelve.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_05]: When Dogga pinned, it could tell gay with the Diablo wings.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, porcato gay.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_05]: We thought he was finally gonna get pushed and nope, right back to the bottle back.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_05]: right back to the bottom, back to solid enough, but again, like numbers to say, then Jack Morris, Tadiske, a lot of sand, and the new team, two thousand X member, the returning null, defeated Kido Kimia, Galano, hard toky, and Alejandro, with a choke slam.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_05]: From now on, Alejandro, which was the right finish for this one, you know, eleven fifty nine and I thought of the undercard matches other than the opener that this was probably the best one.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_06]: I also think Nala's a good addition to team to thousand eggs because it I mean, it's clear at this point that almost isn't going to come back.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_06]: So, you know, you put like a different like giant in there and one that is already familiar with the promotion.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_06]: Where again, I think Nala has some potential.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, I mean, for a guy of his size, he does like, decently south bumps like he took a couple bumps off the top rope that we're like, okay, not every guy his size will do that.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I mean, and I, and I put a lot of stock in the fact that he was trained by Dustin Rhodes.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_05]: So I, yeah, I think he's a good addition.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_05]: And I, and I will have said, like bring him back when it's on the first time.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_05]: And I think there's something, there's some potential.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_05]: They're saying to work with him.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_05]: We'll see.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no, no, no.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_05]: For sure.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_05]: So then we move on to the semi-main event for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_05]: Yohei defeated Hayata in fourteen fifty five with the Bamboo Dragonfly to make his fourth defense of the title now just a couple of comments and a question first this since winning the title
- 15:22[SPEAKER_05]: with a picture perfect bamboo dragonfly, you also have done to that did not land right, including in this match.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_05]: But Paul the more importantly is the question is twenty twenty five the year of Hayata.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_06]: You mean because it's yet another actually better than expected Hayata match?
- 15:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I mean.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I guess technically it's better than what we normally get from him.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_06]: I'm still not going to like blow me away.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_06]: So I'm kind of hesitant to say that.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_06]: But yeah, no, I will say he was a lot better than I thought he was.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, again, I think one of the biggest differences is that they just cut like five minutes off of his average mental match lane.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_06]: Like there no longer twenty minutes, twenty to twenty five minutes, where he just runs out of ideas and just does like, it's just a middle in the match for like five minutes for absolutely nothing happens.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_06]: So like now he's just doing like ten to fifteen minute matches, which I think that works a lot better for a style.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_06]: So I think that's also why they don't like, like you can't get as much bored anymore as he could like in previous like iterations of Viata.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_06]: So I think that really helps him.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_05]: And before we get to the main event, I can't remember if it was on this show.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_05]: I think it was on this show and not the next day, but when did Go come out?
- 16:44[SPEAKER_06]: I think Go came out on this show.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, I think you don't see that these coming back.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_05]: Well, he says it's going to be back in August and Harutoki challenged him for his return match, which will happen on August, sixteenth at Corican.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_05]: So that's something exciting to look forward to.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_05]: I assume unless, I mean, we don't know for sure, but I mean, I would assume that goes going to be me.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_05]: I want unless he's like, no, I can't take it.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, but the fact that they made it foreign in one spot.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, it is born and once by okay.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_06]: I've pretty sure that's what they're now instead.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_06]: I like it's basically which of them wins is going to be a Indian one.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_06]: So I don't know, like that actually makes me think how Toki has a chance because I don't know if Go can still do an entire N one.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, look, I mean, to be completely honest, I think how Toki would be a good guy to have on in the N one because he's very strong and he could lose or whatever.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you can just like have him pick up like I don't know a win or two and then just have him like have good mattress of everybody in this block otherwise.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_06]: Where's we've go?
- 17:50[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, Go is right like he's a fairly big star.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_06]: So if he's in there, he kind of has to like get wins that maybe you don't want him to because he probably shouldn't be beating some of those guys anymore.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_05]: True, although it would not shock me giving the twenty fifty anniversary spoiler alert that we're going to get a go versus can't to match for the title at some point.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that I can't definitely see.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that basically he like runs through the like basically can't turn our runs like the different generations of Noah that you know still have representatives.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, there's going to be more fogy beats go beats kind of and blue the stores are was something.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, so then we had over to the main event for the G.C.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_05]: Heavyweight championship.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_05]: Kenno defeated Ozawa in twenty two eleven by offering stop because of a super octopus kick to win the title.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_06]: for the third or fourth time, or the fall for, yeah, yeah, I was, yeah, because it was two defenses, zero defenses, two defenses, and then Voila, zero defense.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and he's also the forty-seven champion and the champion fall fell on his seventh defense.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_05]: Well, Pa, I thought this was a really great match, but then, you know, we get the referee getting pulled out of the ring.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_05]: And then, but the finish was good in terms of like, oh, that was a surprise, and that's something,
- 19:10[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_05]: I was all the can't be kind of type things.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_05]: So I mean, they're that was fine, but I'm sorry.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_05]: I'm always going to have a ceiling on these matches when you have these interference and stuff.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I'm not very well.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_05]: I'm very very well up until the first interference spot.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I thought it was still pretty great match though like and I feel like we're not going to
- 19:31[SPEAKER_06]: have this version of the server for that much longer either.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_06]: So, so definitely can like look forward to that one.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_06]: I really liked it.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_06]: They kind of like established cano now as this guy that was our just can't beat.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_06]: because they had to match like at the beginning of the year, right?
- 19:49[SPEAKER_06]: Like right after like Osawa, like one of the title where they didn't have a finish for that one.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_06]: So like you couldn't beat him there.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, he didn't lose but he also couldn't beat him.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_06]: And then I would say like definitively established that no, he can't beat him like he lost to him like pretty cleanly and like he got knocked out as well.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_06]: So now Ken who has established himself is like the biggest rival of like the young guy yet again by knocking him out.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_06]: If I had a dollar for every time that happens, I'd have two dollars, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_05]: I'd keep this going for a while through the, if they're in the same N one block, it'll kind of win again and then save that victory for later.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_06]: Oh yeah, no, no, no, like he,
- 20:34[SPEAKER_06]: He can't beat like, oh, that can't beat Kenna for like a while.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_06]: Like I definitely not this year.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_06]: Like if he beats him, like he, I would do that like next year maybe or maybe even depending how long you want to hold that off, like maybe you can even hold it off for like a year and a half or so.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_06]: Like you do it at like basically not this year or like this year.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_06]: It's not like the twenty twenty six.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_06]: New year show.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe you do it actually at the twenty twenty seven New year show something like that.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_06]: Because now that's like a big match.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_06]: Like now that's like a match you can draw a big house.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_06]: So like you're not gonna give that win away like for free basically like that should be in a big building and it should be basically like clearly telegraph that like it's actually gonna happen now.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_06]: But I agree like Kenos should beat him like one more time before then maybe in like the N one for example.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_05]: And then so after the match you know you got to suck in Kenton the ring and then Kenos like I want to face you to Kenton.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, you know, classical hubris basically.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_06]: This is a move that has never backfired on any risk drivers to like, I'm going to challenge you.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_05]: And so I mean, look, it became pretty obvious what was going to happen at that point.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_06]: Especially if I forgot who it was like pointed out that like how short each of Kenos like ratings were.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_05]: He's not a it's funny.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_05]: They decide that he's never the guy to carry the company even though it feels like he is at point.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_05]: I'm the over the last few years where it's like, ah, you should just put it on Keno and he can just carry the company.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but I mean, they should have done that, like basically, like should have like built up like Ken took correctly and then do that, but they just decided to never do that.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_05]: And yeah, so that takes us to the new to not pro wrestling or twenty percent of the industry need to purchase a two on the twentieth of July at Cork and Holigan for one thousand five hundred ninety two fans of down four as we said for super, but still a super no vacancy for house because
- 22:41[SPEAKER_05]: Um, there were still people in the upper level.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_05]: Stan.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_05]: That's what it was.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_05]: I think all the seats were filled.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_05]: Paul, is it just me or did this was the crowd on this show hotter?
- 22:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_05]: That's crowd wasn't singing hard.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_06]: Especially in the main event.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so we started to show with Mom and Yone.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_05]: It's super crazy.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_05]: If you focus the sake, it's true to be a walkie and by the way, with a muscle buster from Yone on me, a walkie my God.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_05]: getting beaten like a drum again.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_05]: And to think I thought this, they were setting me a walkie up to win the junior title, like, nope.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_05]: Soon, soon, I got it.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_05]: So, then, Mattibu, sorry, Dekinab and Sachsen, Huxley, defeated Kazuki Fujita, Will Cruz and Deki, Otashima, what a great team.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_05]: In six, forty-two with the net ball from Huxi and Otashima.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_05]: And I'll say this.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, the Shiva can make Saxon Hugs.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_05]: It looks like a threatening.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_05]: He's that good.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_05]: He's that good.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, so we continue like my underrated like the my underrated almost tag team of the year because you could forget and I killed a shima.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_05]: Next up was Dale Michimar Fuji, aided Shudji Kondo defeating Tetsuya Shinto Dragon Bane and Alpha Wolf A. Forty-five with the Imperial Uno from Ada on Bane.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_05]: I guess somewhat surprising of a result, but maybe we're going to set something up.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_05]: But, you know, solid, but I'm not in a time, I thought.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_06]: No, I mean, they did, they did set something up.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_06]: Like they set up the eight-end condo, challenging for the two writers, for genetic titles.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_06]: So, yeah, I mean, solid match, otherwise, does endo feel a little bit lost in the shuffle right now?
- 24:24[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_06]: Because he's not even doing any like he left team to thousand acts and then that never really was followed up on like it doesn't seem like he has b-fifth them anymore.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_06]: I take this kind of kick them out and he was just like, okay, I'm just left.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I think Endo has potential to do something in the end one big.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_05]: But if they don't do that, then he's definitely lost in the shuffle and then maybe he will just go back to you.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because I, because before it was like maybe he like wins the end one and then challenges as a arbiter like a one and one, but like now that the arbiter is no longer champion, it wouldn't make any sense for ender to win the end one.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_06]: So I don't, yeah, maybe he goes to the final, but I don't think it's a chance to win no.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_05]: And then we had an elimination match.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_05]: Jack, Team Two Thousand X, Jack Morris, Daga, and Nol, Tituskan, and a Wattessan defeated Kyotoki and we had Galena Harutoki out of a Honda on Kyotakujimura.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_05]: Five to four.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_05]: So a Wattessan eliminated Fujimura with a backside, so another victory for him with those backslides.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_05]: Kyomia defeated Titusuke with the shining lancer, Nol, defeated Alejandro over the top row.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_05]: And then now I'll pin her toky with the choke slam.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_05]: That's what you want to get the monster heal some big wins like that.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_05]: Give me a limited dog and then go into a limited Morris with the Mitch no clue driver two.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_05]: And then Nol and Glano both went over the top row.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_05]: Probably what you wanted to go there.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_05]: And then a lot of sun through Kia Mia over the top rope.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_05]: And look, I enjoyed this.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_05]: It was like a little short on the shorter side for elimination max, but that also helped it just be all action and very little bullshit I thought.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, I liked it as well.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe also to like, note as well, it's like, O'Wada didn't just like, throw Kumiya over the top, like, cleanly, like, uh, Ozawa, like, interfered and like hit, uh, Kumiya with the real rebel and then the water, throw Kumiya over the top row.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_06]: But that was to set something up.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, exactly.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_05]: So Ozawa, then, well, peer to a huge pop when he appeared.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_05]: still over folks don't worry.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_05]: But he and that then made the announcement that a lot of Sam was going on his foreign excursion and that would be facing each other in August on the farewell match, which is a match I'm looking forward to.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_05]: Do you think that he's just gonna punk a water stand out?
- 26:57[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, yeah, I feel like I feel like that's what's gonna happen.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_05]: You know, like leave Japan not being a member of Team Two Thousand X anymore?
- 27:06[SPEAKER_06]: Hmm, that one I don't know.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_06]: I do think he's still going he's I think he's going to leave as a member of Team Two Thousand X. Yeah, but I think maybe you used this to like establish some like tension between him and was about for example, right?
- 27:21[SPEAKER_05]: So there was no announcement of where a lot of sand is going.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to guess Europe, but it's really, you can't really rule out Orlando.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I guess maybe.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_06]: But like, I don't know, that would be kind of weird if he just goes there too.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't think he really can like benefit from that really.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_06]: So I mean, also obviously, if he goes to Europe, I have better chances of seeing him live.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_06]: So obviously, selfishly, that's obviously in my own self interest if he comes here instead.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, especially since Osava mainly like like GWF was one of the like promotions he worked the most on his excursion.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_06]: So I feel like they have a good relationship there.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_06]: So and I mean, hey, like because that's the other thing like for example, like now Jack Morris has started working here too, like every single time he's back in Europe.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_06]: So I feel like
- 28:14[SPEAKER_06]: They have a good relationship.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_06]: So I, my guess would still be that he's actually coming here, like not just, I mean, not just specifically here, but also to like Europe in general.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_05]: And we've got to mention last year after you, hey, one, the lights went out and then Rome became out.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_05]: from the stands.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_05]: I made the challenge.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_05]: So we got this match, special tag match for Homotaka Hashen and Baskar defeating Yohei and Yulka Kuchin, ten fifty six with the time bomb from Haromu on Yohei.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_05]: This was a pretty good match.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_05]: I thought that Haromu and Yohei had great chemistry.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_05]: And once this tag match is announced, I thought that this finish was pretty clear.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, there's no way who Roma was going to lose this.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_06]: That's for sure.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_05]: And guess what?
- 29:00[SPEAKER_05]: We're getting a herromo versus your image.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I think you're almost going to win the title, right?
- 29:06[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I mean, we keep predicting that you're always going to lose the title and every single defense and then he just keeps defending the belt.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_06]: But I feel like this time, this time for sure has to be the title, right?
- 29:17[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, and I think what?
- 29:21[SPEAKER_05]: He's got to hold that till January, right?
- 29:23[SPEAKER_06]: Probably, yeah.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, put Will, New Japan, give him like, because like, he's doing this also because he's not working to dream on.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_06]: So like he has time to basically do this right now.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_06]: But if he holds it to January again, like New Japan probably won some involved like for like January four.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_06]: So I don't know if he really like, I don't know wanting to like carry that belt for that long.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_06]: But then I'm also like who who takes it off of him.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_06]: That gets the other problem if you put it to him like who takes it off of him.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_05]: I guess that's what I was gonna guess.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, at the earlier, I would want it to be a younger guy, but yeah, sure.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that's probably not happening.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_05]: So, so when then we go to the main event for the GSE Highway Championship.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_05]: Can't out defeated Kenno in twenty eight or four with a go to sleep to win the title.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_06]: Only for the second time, I believe.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, he only had that like super long about the super long.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but he only had one right the rent so far.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I was about to say I was about a year, right.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you kind of fucked up.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so I mean this back was great, but I will say and it might
- 30:39[SPEAKER_05]: still be the Noah match of the year, but I will say, let's be honest folks, this was still working in a way to cover up that Ken to cannot like run around furiously in the ring, right?
- 30:52[SPEAKER_05]: It was a little slow paced, however, it is a tribute to Ken to and Keno, how good they were that they, this drew you in a meet.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_05]: And obviously there were sequences where they just kicked and slapped the absolute shit out of each other, especially in the closing stretches, all those slots that Keno was giving to Keno.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_05]: But I did think that this mattress structure would be like, yeah, I can't to can't move that fast for that much of the match type thing.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_05]: That being said, they still did build a lot of drama and this was a great match, but I just had to put that in there because I think some people had just been like, oh, you know, match it a year or whatever like that, you know, I thought that it's still moved a little slow.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_05]: for what you would think in this match.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_05]: That being said, it was wrong.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_05]: Probably.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_05]: It was.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_06]: No match.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_06]: And I mean, like, like, kinder, like, he's, like, not, kinder, like, he's not the same guy, obviously.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_06]: He was like, twenty years ago.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, how could he be, obviously?
- 31:49[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, so.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_06]: But I feel like he has really figured out how he can work with his own limitations.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_06]: So I think that is such an important thing that you need to be able to do as a wrestler as you get older and your body starts breaking down.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_06]: Did you just need to know, okay, how can I maximize the skills I still have to put on a good match?
- 32:11[SPEAKER_06]: And I think that's exactly what they did here, where he's like, well, I mean, I can still take really hard and I can still like throw really mean chops, so that's what we're gonna do.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_06]: So, I mean, I hope he never, like, you know, gets to like the same level like that, his mentor and name bodyguard basically, where like the only thing he can do is chops, like a down thing he's that broken down, but
- 32:38[SPEAKER_06]: It's no, I think it's pretty great.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_06]: Let's see what he can do.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_06]: It was also such a feel good moment.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_06]: The crowd popped so massively when canter actually won the title.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_06]: It just felt right because I mean in a way he never really should have left, but he kind of had to because the promotional styling and he couldn't really pay him anymore.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_06]: So he went to the US and then when he came back, he should have come back to know what they couldn't, again, they couldn't afford him at the time.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_06]: So he went to New Japan and very, very obviously now male that didn't completely his entire time there, for the self felt wrong.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_06]: for Ken to not be back in Japan and not be in Noah.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_06]: For him to now be back in Noah and to like now actually like be the champion again with the promotion and fairly healthy state now.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_06]: It just feels right and it was just to me like it's maybe it's not the match of the year, but I think it's definitely like the feel good moment of the year.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, absolutely.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_05]: For sure.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_05]: Now, what do you think of this booking?
- 33:52[SPEAKER_05]: Like again, I think one day title rings are preposterous and especially of disbelief, defying, et cetera, et cetera.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_06]: I don't really mind it to be quite honest.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_06]: It's also because it's cano, right?
- 34:07[SPEAKER_06]: I think if you do this with anybody else, it kind of is bad.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_06]: But if you do it with Cano, it works because of the way his character is.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_06]: Where he is just a guy that constantly feels like an adequate and then kind of when he actually gets to the top, he like fucks up and loses to tighter quickly.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_06]: That's basically what he is now.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_06]: Where he is very obviously positioned as a main eventer, but he's also positioned as to guy that when he actually wins the title, something happens.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_06]: And he just like either immediately or like really quickly like loses the title again.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_06]: So if again, because it was done with him, I think it was fine.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_06]: But I can see where you're coming from where like at the sucks a little bit to like only do like a one day like less than one day with like sixteen hours or whatever title in and for him to like use it.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_05]: In hours maybe tops.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and also.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, Kent is a start, I start somebody a baby face, so he's just like, okay, well, I'll take advantage of that.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but like what was he supposed to do?
- 35:15[SPEAKER_06]: Like he would like Kent, like because that's the other thing.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_06]: It's not like Kent, I came in and challenged Kenno.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_06]: Like it's the opposite.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_06]: Kenno was like because Kenno was also the guy that proposed to do it the very next day.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_06]: Like this is very much Kenno.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_06]: falling on his own hubris, yet again, where he's like, no, no, no, I'm Superman.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_06]: I can defend the very next day against Kenter.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_06]: I can beat Kenter.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_06]: I can show you that I'm better than you.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_06]: And then, well, Kenter didn't have a fucking title match the prior days, so he was just more arrested.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_06]: Like he lost in the open and on the prior show, in a match where honestly, he didn't do that much.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_06]: So, like, you know, that's why it actually kind of makes sense because again, Kenter
- 35:58[SPEAKER_06]: was just the more rested guy.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_06]: So he like in thirty minutes, you know, like he just had the stamina at the end to just get the best of cano and cano, yet again gets overconfident and fucks himself over it.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_06]: Like he always does that that's why he's such a lovable guy because that like he just keeps doing that.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_05]: And then probably they went to this right away because then Mark Fuji challenged.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_06]: I mean you have to do that match.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_06]: I mean you have if you have the chance to do this, you have to do it as much.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how good it could be, but I guess what, cork and hall on August eight, August sixteenth is already sold out.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_06]: So you're thinking they're not going to get cold feet based on the number that are drawing off of uh, uh, can't have a smart Fuji match again.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_04]: No, no, no.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_06]: They should have put that into Buddha can trust as a fuck you.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so let's look okay.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_05]: So, August, eleventh cults Colosaki, we've got Haramu vs. Yohei and go to Ozaki vs. Harutoki.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_05]: So,
- 37:04[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that's a decent, that's like a thousand plus and you're gonna sell that out before Romoudero.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_05]: And then on the sixteenth, we got Osal over so autocent and kind of versus Marifuzy, all that's been announced so far.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_05]: Marifuzy said, I'm only still wrestling because of you.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_05]: Or that's how it was translated on court commentary.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_05]: Do you think that's a hint at something?
- 37:26[SPEAKER_06]: I think, yeah, I think we're gonna see a Marifuzy retirement show next year.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_06]: Because I mean, he's very obviously like in a lot of pain.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's probably tight.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_06]: And he has a backstage drop as well.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_06]: So I think it's just time for him to just hang out the boots and like become like an office guy essentially.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_05]: I think he won't be retiring in January because Tanahash is going to do that.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_05]: Exactly.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_06]: Like they would have already announced that if he was retiring in January.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, we're not a shock if he goes all the way to early, twenty, twenty seven, but they announced it at the beginning of next year.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, like David did with Tenahashi, yeah, I could see that too.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_05]: So no, I think there's obviously some very interesting directions they could go.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_05]: They pulled the plug on, so I was tamarine at the right time, I thought.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_05]: And that this is sleazy and one much more wide open and interesting.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_05]: When do you think he's turning phase?
- 38:21[SPEAKER_05]: By the end of the end one.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_05]: Some people thought the canter would turn.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I thought that.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_05]: And that would have left too much of a bad taste on the twenty-fiveth anniversary, I thought.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_05]: That would have left the bad taste in everyone's mouth because it's the twenty-fiveth anniversary.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah and hindsight and hindsight that would have been really stupid.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_06]: But I wouldn't have put it past them because it was like, I don't know, it would have been such a clear transition like within a day, right?
- 38:48[SPEAKER_06]: It's like you take it off over the oven and you put it on canter the next day and he's now, you know, you bake like top here.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_06]: But yeah, I agree that like keeping it at the field of good moment was the much better choice here.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_05]: So I would say that I think knows a little more interesting again because that title room was getting a little I mean, it's weird like the way I think it was always so weird because it's like so incredible.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_05]: He is so kind of a man in the star, but the formula was just not sustainable.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, like, to me, it was still fine until the Kenta match, and then they did the weird freeway with like, uh, with secure, uh, and endo.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_06]: And I don't think that really worked, but that was.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so I agree that it was the right time to just end it now and like before like the whole thing like before you overexposed that and then you can like basically I feel like he's gonna win the title again.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_06]: I mean obviously he's gonna win the title again, but like he's gonna win it as a face like the next time he does, which my guess would be January first.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I could definitely see that from Canter.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_06]: I would think so because I don't really see who else would make sense.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I guess we'll have to wait and see who actually wins the end one, which I don't really have a good feeling on the polls who like it's going to win the end one now, I guess.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_06]: That's basically the only two people I could see, like, the whole that title then is like, can't talk, can't talk, I don't think cano.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe, I mean, maybe they do, like, maybe they do, like, cano, Wednesday and one beats can't, and then loses it.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_06]: But I think that would be too quickly if you do as our versus can or January first.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, I agree.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_06]: It's a really can only be can talk.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_06]: I think I think I think they're going to do the rematch canter versus our January first and those are our beats and again.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_05]: That's probably a piece of face though.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, as a face.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's the difference.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_05]: So that is Noah.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_05]: So we want all Japan progressing.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_05]: And so we've got a touch in a go update.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_05]: It's still not good because it sounds like he's still in the ICU.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, which it's been now what like two months basically.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_06]: I think so.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_06]: This is the end of May.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_06]: I don't remember exactly when like, but yeah, I think it was, no, he, he, I think it's last match was in like late April, early May, right?
- 41:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, geez.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_06]: So like the fact that he's still in the ICU now is really, really bad sign.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_06]: And you'd expect him to be like transferred to like, I don't know, like, you know, like the regular ward for like recuperation by now.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_06]: What the fact that he isn't is, yeah, that that's not good.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_06]: He still has to be like an intensive care.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so, oh god, that's what's just to him.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like at this point like at my little committee not even be a thing of like, I can never return to ring it might be more of like can you have like, you know, like a comfortable life essentially.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, we'll see.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_05]: I hope, well, I hope they can give us some more updates.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_05]: We'll see, but you never, I don't know, trust them too to be completely honest.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, Japanese promotions are famously very like tight.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_06]: When it comes to things like this.
- 42:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_05]: So the next thing that we need to talk about is that friend of the show of Lucky Bracha.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_05]: who goes through financials of the rural companies when they come out, basically in the last fiscal year, I'll just pay them last forty two million yen, which I believe is like two hundred and eighty two thousand dollars American.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that is a huge spike because they lost like five hundred thousand yen in twenty twenty three and nine million in twenty twenty four.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_05]: But we don't know what's going on because it could be a capital expense and for Kuta is a businessman, so he could be moving money around with all of his businesses and everything like that.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it isn't a lot of money, it is a lot of money for a company, the size of all the pain, but it's also not some whole that you can't take out of.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and we don't actually know what like, you know, what Fukuda's finances over all look like, you know, like, how easily can he just like absorb a hit like this?
- 43:16[SPEAKER_06]: Because I mean, that's at the end of the day.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_06]: It's like really the thing.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_06]: It's like if he's just able and willing to like take that kind of hit, then it's fine.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_06]: But I mean, it's kind of weird that it is that much more, right?
- 43:26[SPEAKER_06]: Like it can't just be explained, because the attendance grew as well.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_06]: So it doesn't really make sense that like losses grew by that much.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_06]: They had to be something that caused that.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I've actually seen some suggestions as well that it's like basically loans coming to you that were taken up during the pandemic.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_06]: And that's what like made the losses grow so much.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, which would make sense.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_06]: Like I think that kind of works out time frame wise.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_06]: So, yeah, hopefully there's not more like that that needs to be paid off.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_06]: Like hopefully maybe it was just like one big trunk and they'd just like, okay, we're just gonna take the hit and just pay it off because I don't think it would be sustainable for them to like keep eating those kind of losses.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_06]: Like the one from last year, I think that one is something they can keep eating for a while, but like these kinds of losses I don't think.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_06]: Like if they have to do that like a couple years, that's gonna be really bad for them.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_05]: I just don't know what to make of it for now.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's something keep your eye on and everything like that.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it could also be like the renovated dojo, you know?
- 44:30[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 44:30[SPEAKER_06]: Like that's straight up is what it also could be where like the renovated dojo and that was just the massive expense that they just ate that like last year.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll keep watching that.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_05]: Although I should note that there's still have not returned to pre-pandemic touring schedule.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_05]: No, which
- 44:47[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I got to assume that that ultimately does hurt them or what do you think?
- 44:52[SPEAKER_05]: Do you think they'd have bigger losses if they were doing more small, three-and-person shows?
- 44:56[SPEAKER_06]: The pens, like, what the travel expenses are?
- 44:59[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I guess maybe you could do, like, a tour with, like, a bit of a pair-down roster, you put some, like, locals on there.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_06]: I think, I think they could do it.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_06]: I think they definitely should be trying to, like, run more shows.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_06]: Especially in areas, maybe, like, other promotions don't go to or don't go to anymore.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, right.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_05]: They still, I mean, they're, this is what they're going to go do the week long vocator tour again for the third year.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_05]: So, I mean, I'm assuming that that's making money.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_06]: And like, because like, for example, like, baked Japan is like the only like promotion at very like Charles Chicago.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_06]: And it generally draws some really big numbers there because again, it's like the only promotion that runs that entire island essentially.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I think that's what they got to do.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_06]: But we'll see.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_06]: You could probably, I mean, fuck, you could probably get yourself some money from the government to be like local, we do like local revitalization by like going to like, like, middle of absolutely nowhere.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_06]: We're like nothing ever happens.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_06]: So like literally all depend coming to town is like the most exciting thing that has happened in the town in like two years.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_05]: So, we go to the July seventeenth show at Corket Hall.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_05]: Only eight hundred and fifty-five fans, which is their lowest Corket number in ages.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_05]: And this is being invented by Seki Oshioca versus Razi Akil.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_05]: But I would also note that the last couple times they tried to manufacture juniors in Corken in October, twenty- twenty-two.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_05]: They drew a hundred and twenty-two for ASCII versus Razi Ghiado.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_05]: And then in March, twenty twenty four, they drew one thousand seventy six for Dan versus rising high auto.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_05]: So from that perspective, I would say that this is definitely not good.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_06]: No, I mean, we kind of kind of set this like last week, like all Japan basically told their fans to not come to this current control.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because they were like, I have Anza is going to be gone and like
- 46:58[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to put the triple cron match in Osaka and we're mainly making a show with a bunch of juniors.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_05]: And the next title matches third from the talk.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I've heard from the top and it's Hokato or Mori and Talos.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_06]: It's a team challenging that you know is not going to win.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_06]: Like it's literally like a paper, like it's literally a paper defense.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, I can't read.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_06]: Again, this to me was like, it's a promotion for some reason telegrafing to its fans.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_06]: Like don't bother spending money on this one.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_06]: Like you say for money for the next one, I guess.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_05]: So let's begin.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_05]: In Block B for the junior battle of glory, Dan Tamer defeated Fuminori, Abe and Tenilevin with, they love Majestraw and Paul, let me tell you, Dan's love Majestraw, very smooth, much smoother than you might think.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, because it's, because it's kind of a power guy, but I think he's underrated as a like, mad wrestler.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, for sure.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_05]: This was a solid match.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm going to preface this.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_05]: I don't necessarily have
- 48:00[SPEAKER_05]: I tend to say about these junior battle of glory matches, because, okay, spoiler alert, I think the main event of this show was the best tournament match so far.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_05]: But I would argue that there's a decent floor to all of these matches.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, none of them are bad.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_06]: I think they're all incredibly solid of fuck.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_06]: I think it helps that they are no longer have to, like, out the official time limit to them either, but they actually have, like, able to, like, give these matters some, like, braving room.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_06]: I will actually disagree that the main event from the show was the best tournament match so far, because I actually think the next match was the best tournament match.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_05]: I bought it.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_05]: I've started to feel real anyway in two eighteen with the heel hold.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_05]: Fall taken away then.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_06]: So I thought this was absolutely awesome.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_06]: So basically, like, anyway, it comes out.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_06]: Like, and he looks like super focused, and he's like, yeah, I'm gonna like make a big impact.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_06]: And like he like rushes down Saturday and it just like start like wildly like brawling like everywhere.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_06]: like just beat the shit out of each other and then like Sato like finally like he kind of like managed to like kind of like get in it like you can see Sato doesn't actually want to like stand up to like to stand up with like in a way so he like tries to like get him to the ground and he find like managers to like get him like on the ground and immediately just like locks in a heel hole and just taps him out in two minutes.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_06]: And then after like after the match, like A, it makes Sato look like a complete killer.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_06]: I figured it establish really well, like in a way it's like underdog position and the tournament because it's like a thing that like keeps happening to him.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_06]: But like he basically, he's really motivated, but then he just keeps getting caught by the people that are like just more experienced than him.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_06]: And then afterwards as well, he got like the ice pack, right?
- 49:47[SPEAKER_06]: And he's like limping back to like the back and he just like tosses the ice back like on the floor and like frustration.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_06]: Like I thought this was just like this was about as perfect as it can do like a quick squash like this.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it wouldn't even call it a squash really because like in a way was like equal of subtle and then subtle just got the better of him on the ground where he's better.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_06]: But like that's exactly how you do a sprint like this in a tournament.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_06]: I thought this was this was great.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, yeah, so it was a great like two in a match like that and a good sort of establishment thing for in a way just being like is he going to be the cocky young guy?
- 50:23[SPEAKER_05]: That's just going to fall flat on his face.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_05]: We shall see Next up we have Kentucky Suzuki can't go much shimo and segaltouchy bond between Kumara
- 50:32[SPEAKER_05]: Takashi and Shayna Kufuji, who's back yet again, which is a good sign if you ask me.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_05]: Seven ten when Suzuki pinned Kufuji with the sleeper hold, and then went through the pin type thing.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_05]: Perfectly solid match I thought.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_05]: I am the top Kufuji booster though, too.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_06]: Oh yeah, I feel like they're going to, like, basically slot them into, like, the Tyson, the Gao roll.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_06]: No?
- 50:56[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's what I suspect.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_05]: And then Ray Kihonda, David Boyz with Junior Soutaro, as she know and Brennan Abbey defeated June set, a race set at Usashi.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_05]: You go me a motor on a eleven twenty four with a death roulette for my Abbey on Usashi.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_05]: Paul, I thought this was pretty good, actually, but I'll get to the reason why it was, it was a standard like multi-band tag in many ways.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_05]: But I thought Honda trying to build for his match against June.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_05]: He was so good here.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_05]: And I was obsessed with what was fighting June.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_05]: And I went everywhere and brawled everything.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_05]: And Honda is just really delivered here.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like after this match, I had much more of a feeling like, oh, maybe Honda actually has a chance of winning though because yeah, human just drew like going at each other like in the like upper stance like in in Korkin like in the in the bleachers like after the match.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_06]: We're basically did didn't give a shit at all that the match was over.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_06]: They were like, no, no, we're just going to keep rolling, but that was awesome.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_06]: And yes.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, otherwise, I also thought it was like a
- 51:54[SPEAKER_06]: these enough match otherwise, but like that was very clearly a highlight of the entire thing.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_05]: We will get to the world road announcement later after we do the shows.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_05]: So that we jump to the World Tag Team channel.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_05]: Can't tell me a higher new area.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_05]: I can see the Hoko Toro Mori in towels in Seventeen, Fifteen, when a lot be pinned or more with the full.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_05]: Paul, I'll be nice and say that the last couple of minutes against this between UMA and Hokuto or decent to good.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_05]: I think that UMA is Hokuto's best opponent when they decide to actually try.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_05]: I would dare say if spoiler humor becomes trouble crown champion that they run this they run a a Hoco total challenge.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_05]: But however the first like at least ten minutes of this was what you thought it was going to with a bunch of selling and comedy selling by the business tag and then comedy and then Talos.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_05]: If this is by design or why or he's actually is limited as we think he is, but I feel like they don't let Talos do that much.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_06]: They very clearly are limiting like what Talos is like actually allowed to do.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_05]: And it's because they want to like keep the monster aura or they think he sucks.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_05]: I can't tell.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_06]: I could be close.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_05]: It's not like Talos jumps off the page of some incredible monster, but I feel like he's fairly confident in what they have him actually.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_05]: Hmm.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_05]: If that makes sense.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_06]: No, it does.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_05]: Right.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_05]: It's like, well, I don't see that they put Talos in some position where he's when he'll
- 53:26[SPEAKER_05]: But I don't feel like they give him that opportunity to show beyond a big boot to choke somebody can.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, but that might also be all he can do.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, that's very real.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_05]: Possibly too.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_05]: Although I suppose one other thing I will say, part of this match.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_05]: Can't tell when you were trying to get like towels down on his knees was sort of entertaining, too.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, to be fair, that's always a good thing when you try to, like, cut the giant down to size, right?
- 53:52[SPEAKER_06]: Like I think that's always a spot that works pretty well and wrestling.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_06]: But I do agree with you though, that I actually thought that like the ending of the, the ending.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_06]: But like the final sequence was Hokuto and like, Yuma was like really, really good though, because again,
- 54:10[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, Okato is a really good tack worker.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_06]: He's an okay singles worker, but I do think he is actually like a really really good tack worker.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_06]: And he shows that every single time he's put in a big match like that.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but then I just haven't do all that other stuff all the other times.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, that's the problem.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_06]: And then he has like pretty mad singles matches as well.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_06]: So that doesn't help either.
- 54:32[SPEAKER_05]: And then a deck he came out to challenge.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_05]: And then he revealed that his partner would be going to be King of Machimo.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 54:41[SPEAKER_05]: should be good.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_05]: That will be on August third of we need to talk about that show when we get to it.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_05]: So next up in the be-block of uh... you're about to glory ask you a lot of you to do in seventeen forty four with uh... back at our starting kick cutback cradle
- 54:57[SPEAKER_05]: I think this one a little too long ago.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_05]: Like it was technically good, but like not.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I just, I did like the finish though.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_06]: I did like the finish.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_06]: I agree that you probably could have cut like five minutes off of this, but I did really like the finish of just like at skitches, ducking, and the paketari, and then just rolling them up.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but I will say the finish was kind of the most notable thing about the match.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_05]: Um, because it was the length I would say that this is like in some ways one of the weaker.
- 55:31[SPEAKER_05]: If not to match on the first show.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I would on the first.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_06]: I think of what's the weakest like off the tournament match.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_05]: However, we're going to go to the mean of that with rising higher out of defeating secular Shioca in the A block.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_05]: And this is great.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_05]: And the match of the show and I think the match of the tournament.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_05]: I agree.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_05]: It was really good.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it did not overstates welcome and, you know, I mean, I think, you know, it's funny with Hayato because I think he's abdued for him.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, okay, this guy, he's getting good and then I felt like he'd even after he went to the punk rocker look, he had plateaued for a while, but I would think that once he got into the tag team with the Anzon, he was like, okay, he's getting great again and he's been great since then and this was a really strong main event.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_05]: Even if it was like a paradoxical main event,
- 56:21[SPEAKER_05]: It's because he's got something to try to be completely honest.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_05]: But it was a good way to end the show, right?
- 56:27[SPEAKER_05]: And you had the right guy win in the main of a coworker.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_05]: And if you're going to admit event with the juniors.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, exactly.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_06]: And especially you want like your junior champion and that main event as well, if you're doing this tournament.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_06]: And like the guy that is technically, I guess the biggest star in the junior division.
- 56:42[SPEAKER_06]: Because he will also just held like a title with your age for a while.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_06]: I do see why they were like, we're gonna main event with this one.
- 56:50[SPEAKER_06]: I mean it wasn't really great match.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_06]: It just, you know, it didn't draw.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_05]: So then we go to the twentieth of July at Wolf.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_05]: Heart out Toyoma in front of four hundred and seventeen fans.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_05]: I'm just going to list off the tournament matches.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_05]: Mr. Sider and the rookie do I in the blue box defeated Dan Tamar at nine twenty seven with the V nine clutch.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_05]: I actually thought this was pretty good.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_05]: I was like these two good at work together because I wasn't I wasn't there title match not that good.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, they had to head a title.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_06]: I think that was an noise second rain.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_06]: They had a title match that was or was it an dance rain?
- 57:26[SPEAKER_06]: I don't remember, but like I definitely remember that they had a title match that I was really excited for and I was just very mad.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_05]: And this was this was better than that for sure.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, this was definitely better than that.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_05]: That I think in part because you know, keep it nine twenty seven, the length of everything like that.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_05]: And then we had an in a block real in a way defeating rising how to a nine thirty five with the die cannon super sold which I think this might be the second best match in the tournament
- 57:53[SPEAKER_05]: And, you know, in a way, sort of brought the fire again, but he actually got the best of Hayato for once.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_05]: He learned something.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_05]: I don't have two minutes.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_05]: Type things.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_05]: So I would, Paul, I briefly glance at this six band title match, but it was Hogato Mori, Kuma Rashi, Takashi defeating Toyama Black Raman Man number one, Toyama Black Raman Man number two and Toyama Black Raman Man number three.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_05]: And the Black Roman men were Hadekki, Yuma, Ayoyagi, and Fuminari Abe.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_06]: So trash, Ode, just in a mask.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like that.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, I know.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_05]: Now, this was when I was like, oh, God, Yuma is not going to change.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_05]: We can debate that on subsequent shows.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_06]: I will say, I basically like, when this match started, I started playing persona four and I beat the final boss before the match was over.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_06]: So, at least I did something.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_05]: And then, okay, for the J-Bog, Sechioshioca, if you say go touchy button in twelve o'clock with the web magistral.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_05]: And again, how could you go wrong with Yoshioca and Tachibana?
- 59:04[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, oh yeah, no.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, they're both incredibly underrated.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_06]: And they kind of showed that here.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_06]: It's like this was just really good action from start to finish.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I thought it's just pretty good too.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I'm much better out of for asking you this time too.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_06]: No, I mean, again, like it's also weird because like it was only slightly shorter than the Doi match, but like it didn't, like it didn't feel that long.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_06]: Like it had like a really good pace to it.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_06]: I think, yeah, I don't know.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_06]: Like I think maybe he just has better chemistry with Musashi.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_06]: That might also be a thing.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_06]: Um, I think Musashi was also seemed like incredibly motivated here as well.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_06]: So I think that helped the match as well.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_06]: And I thought it was just a really good, like, I'm not going to put on any match of the year list of whatever, but I think overall this show, like, like, it just kind of flew by.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_06]: I think I really enjoyed this one, like, minus the, like, older pan, like, the six-minute tag title match, the comedy match, which half of the match was spent eating ramen.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_06]: So everything else, I think, like, you can go and watch and like, you're not going to like waste your time.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_05]: So we're moving on to summer action series turn twenty five on July twenty first at Ediana read it was soccer number two in five seven hundred ninety five fans and Paul I thought that's a bit of a disappointing number.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah again I looked at a triple crown matches do not draw in Osaka no like I like
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_06]: Like they didn't, they don't do them that often.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_06]: They actually, they generally may invent these shows with like world title matches.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_06]: Like what they generally do is they do the triple crown match in Tokyo, and then they do the world tag title match in Osaka.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_06]: And I guess the Osaka fans don't care for the triple crown, they're conditioned to watching world tag title matches.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_06]: So they didn't show up for this one, I guess.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, outside of Sendai area is it possible and outside of maybe Tokyo, is it possible that the silos are just or June set out of champions is not hot like a lot of international fans think that might be the case.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_06]: I'm really curious, what he draws.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_06]: I mean to be fair, but that's back.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_06]: But that might be the case.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe they do see June as just like Country Pumpkin from Sandai, but not from Sandai, like from like Miyagi prefecture.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_06]: Somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Miyagi prefecture might be that they just don't.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_06]: And again, yeah, yeah, that might literally just be the thing.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we're like, they just don't give a shit about him and they don't show up for us like title matches then.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_06]: But he's a big start home and then Tokyo.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, to be fair, but if you're a big start in Tokyo, that's kind of like your sixty percent of Japan.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you are.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_05]: So we start with Block B, Mr. Schadenroek, you do already to the Pumanoi Abe in nine, oh nine, we're pinfall.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_05]: Solid opener.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like door eight effort level varies, but I thought especially when you're talking about lower on the card, but I thought are they kept this together.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, Abba is like the perfect guy for like beef kinds of mattress.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_06]: I think he just also has a style, but like even if like the if even if the opponent wants to mail it in, like I think he is enough to like carry the match by himself.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_05]: And then next up, we had a psychotouchy body that's feeling real in a way, in ten minutes, exactly with the Yankee Hammer to finally get touch upon some points.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_05]: And again, you know, this is a very good ten-minute match, right?
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_05]: Like, this is like what you're going to get in this tournament, just solid good work, right?
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_06]: And again, it's like one of those for like in a way, you know, like comes in like a house a fire, but then touchy bananas, just the more experienced guy.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_06]: So he gets them in the end.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, in a way, he's looking really slow these days too.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_06]: He definitely is like sleeping it up with like his jacket and like his he's growing out his hair and everything.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_05]: So, I don't part in watches, but it was for that piece of Suzuki Seki or Shio, can ask here, Yagi, defeating Ray Setto, yes, a phooming, not that no way, and around Sano in eight, thirty seven.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_05]: When Suzuki used the backdrop hold on Sano, did you see it?
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_06]: I did watch the whole show, so I had to have seen it.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_06]: I have zero memory of this time.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_05]: Well, you know, I mean, I'm sure it was what it was, you know, interesting booking for Nakanoi back in all Japan though.
- 1:03:35[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_05]: Triple Crown, next Challenger Decision Match, Yuma, A-O-Yagi, defeated debut boy split junior in nine thirty eight.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_05]: And also very interesting that this is only like the fourth match on an eight match show.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_05]: And he won with the endgame submission.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_05]: Paul, this was good.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_05]: And this was a different Yuma.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yuma showed fire.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_05]: He like charged drop kicks with at the beginning.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_05]: And then they just went into it.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_05]: And then very quickly Smith sat in some or did some holds.
- 1:04:02[SPEAKER_05]: But then it was just like, go, go, go.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_05]: Suplexes.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_05]: And then
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_05]: Yuma twice reversed out of the bulldog bomb attempt.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_05]: And on the second time, he got him in a front necklock.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_05]: And then when Smith went down, he transitioned into the endgame to get the submission.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_05]: And I thought that this was a good, David was with Junior, singles match also reinvigorated Yuma.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_06]: It definitely wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be because I was not going to lie.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_06]: I was dreading to smash a little bit.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it really helped that you might just kept it serious.
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_06]: And it did feel like Smith seemed motivated.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_06]: Because I think with Smith, the problem was that he's like, like his effort levels in general aren't that great, but they're like, through the floor when he's losing.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_06]: Generalist speaking, so but like that wasn't really the case here like I think he actually like tried for once and so yeah again not imagine going to put on like any like matter of the yearless but definitely like solid wrestling and much better than I thought it was going to yeah and you know it was the right decision because
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_05]: Well, we'll get into that in a minute about when this is going to happen and everything like that.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_05]: So then we want to talk a little more about Kuma Rashi Takashi and Talos defeating Kendra Miyahara, Shotaro Shino, when I have showed a Kufuji in seventeen twenty two with the ride the lightning daddy from Talos on Kufuji.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_05]: I apologize because I did that.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I watched it.
- 1:05:32[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it was solid.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it was quite long.
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_06]: That's the one thing I would say.
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it was mostly like a lot of like hook to go and stake as well.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_06]: It's, yeah, again, like, tell us they didn't, they don't really let him do a lot of stuff.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_06]: Like, that was pretty clear here as well.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_06]: He like did his usual spots, but then not that much beside that.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_06]: And Takashi is still like super fucking over.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's really all you can say for this much to be quite honest.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_06]: But also like now with L. Pida gone.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_06]: Rainer Yavis just completely lost in the shuffle now.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_06]: Like he is just nothing.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_06]: He's just the non entity basically on the roster at this time.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_05]: Well, is that the worst thing?
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like they know it's not.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_05]: It's not.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_05]: They already started to pull back on him.
- 1:06:30[SPEAKER_05]: They gave him the opportunity with the road road and everything.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_05]: And actually the funny thing was I thought he performed well on that road road, finally in that dribble crown match.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_05]: But, you know, I think you could pump the brakes on him for a while.
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_05]: So I like they're having him job out all the time either.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_05]: He's still somewhat protected.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_05]: All right, we're back.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry, but that we just had a little bit of technical difficulties.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_05]: But we were talking about this.
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_05]: We talked about red eye oven.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:57[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he's fine.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_05]: Where he is.
- 1:06:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think it's actually.
- 1:07:01[SPEAKER_05]: Is the short version of it.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_05]: You know, but they have pulled back on him, which I think probably was for the best.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_05]: So block A rising hat of the future.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_05]: Her car side on eleven twenty seven with the serious and this was sort of like how would I put it.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_05]: What you would expect the rising hat versus a car side of match to be.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_05]: Right?
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_06]: Basically, exactly what you thought was going to be, well, like, Sato's, like, very much like trying to keep fix on the ground and then I had to very much just like, no, no, no.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to wrestle my match instead and then ultimately, I mean, Sato has really been depotional, right?
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_06]: Like,
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_05]: Again, I sort of like three through the quarter match like the floor of the tournament.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_05]: I'm sure like somewhere is going to yell about the hat of selling him is like, yeah, whatever.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_05]: Whatever.
- 1:07:51[SPEAKER_05]: And then block me.
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_05]: Dan Tamer, deputy Musashi in twelve twenty eight with the Lariat or big Lariat, I gotta say too, and I thought that this was very good.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like Musashi has really stepped up his game since joining on to Pan.
- 1:08:07[SPEAKER_05]: Could you have a little bit of hidden miss, but he has become very concerned.
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it helps to be like in a bigger promotion, right?
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:08:15[SPEAKER_06]: I think he kind of rightly says it's like the big chance for his career, essentially.
- 1:08:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_06]: I think like he's just like he has an incredibly high floor now.
- 1:08:26[SPEAKER_06]: And yeah, I thought this was awesome as well.
- 1:08:28[SPEAKER_06]: Like I think Dan, I've really liked the tournament as well, but he just like he's finally leaning into like this power junior thing.
- 1:08:36[SPEAKER_06]: So like he's finally going all in on that.
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_06]: And like this didn't Larry, it like he just destroyed massage him with that one.
- 1:08:42[SPEAKER_06]: That was.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_06]: insane.
- 1:08:44[SPEAKER_06]: So, yeah, no.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_06]: I've been really, I've been enjoying like that and I would put like in this tournament for sure.
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_05]: And then for the main event for the triple crown, June started to feed a rookie hunt in twenty two thirty nine with the days gone.
- 1:08:58[SPEAKER_05]: I think this is the best batch of June's title reign.
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_05]: I would say so.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_05]: Um, because, and I, and I predicted that very well might be because I just thought that, okay, Honda, and then it's going to go in there and blast each other and they did.
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I will still say I probably feel like I'm probably going to be the low man on this, I guess, like I agree.
- 1:09:19[SPEAKER_06]: It was the best match of the reign so far, but it still wasn't like I still didn't think it was like a blow away match either.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_06]: Like,
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_06]: I would still say it was like a below average triple crown match like it was it wasn't the bad match, but it was just yes, it was below average triple crown.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but yeah, no, I do agree it was the best much of the rain because I think Honda actually like he's really good at like
- 1:09:42[SPEAKER_06]: getting something out of June there where he just like forces him to like, you know, be more energetic and actually try it to be like, you know, like a big guy.
- 1:09:51[SPEAKER_06]: Because Honda is like, I mean, Honda isn't small, but it's always really much smaller than June.
- 1:09:55[SPEAKER_06]: So he can't really let himself get like upstage by Honda on like, you know, like power and everything.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_06]: So he has to like do that a lot more in like the intensity as well.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_06]: So no, I didn't draw it.
- 1:10:07[SPEAKER_06]: It's just, you know, it's not quite what I want out of triple-crunk matches.
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, yeah, I mean, it's, I was, that's very, if you sort of look at even just like the Canter era, absolutely below average.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_05]: But I did like it for what it was.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_05]: And I said in the VOW discord, they should just take fucking hell on the win.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, exactly the company.
- 1:10:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but I mean, I guess we're getting you.
- 1:10:36[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it depends what kind of humor we'll get, but like I at least have a higher chance of like getting good triple crown mattress again.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so okay.
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_05]: So one thing we'll just make a notice on the
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_05]: by you didn't show today, that's the Misaki Mochizuki Produce.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_05]: They had the A.G.P.W.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_05]: six-man-take themed title match, which was Hoko-to-Mori Kuma Rashid Takashi defeating Yamato, leaving all of them Sassuma Yoko-Suka, in the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the summer of the
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, if you have to motivate it, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's too smooth.
- 1:11:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, baby, hold these stages there.
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_06]: Pretty broken down, but yeah, I mean, it has the chance to at least be good, yeah.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, actually, I mean, like, actually the opener on that one, I think might be interesting as well.
- 1:11:35[SPEAKER_06]: It was a dagger and a water sand defeating, was talking much risuki and to minaga sand.
- 1:11:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, with the sharpshooter from dot on Tom and I'll just get the win.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_05]: So both no one all Japan on this.
- 1:11:45[SPEAKER_05]: Now look if Mochi is not getting booked in no anymore.
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_05]: That was okay.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_05]: So we got a couple shows coming up.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_05]: that we need to talk about because very interesting booking decisions going on.
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_05]: But first let's do the raw road line up.
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_05]: So we have Ray Sido X. We'll talk about who X could be later.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_05]: You may have Lockheed and Drumroll.
- 1:12:13[SPEAKER_05]: Now you have no more of returns.
- 1:12:15[SPEAKER_05]: Paul, I feel like I should also be excited, but I also need to taper my expectations because.
- 1:12:20[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_06]: again like I love him but like just have to be realistic like he's never going to be what he maybe potentially could have been.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_05]: I mean like good in those Noah shots that he did.
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yes I mean he looked really good last time too and then he got like that's the thing you can like his body it just isn't built like you know wrestle for very long unfortunately.
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_06]: So I'll enjoy him while he's here but also be very clear he might be gone in three months.
- 1:12:49[SPEAKER_06]: So
- 1:12:51[SPEAKER_05]: Well, jump back a bit to the Auguster to order word Jim show.
- 1:12:54[SPEAKER_05]: He's also on that show facing Rocky Honda, which my god, that could be a great match.
- 1:12:59[SPEAKER_06]: And that was supposed to be him versus exit first, but just to let it change.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:13:05[SPEAKER_05]: Do you think he's in it?
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_05]: Beyond that auto ward in the, in a row road.
- 1:13:13[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like if you're putting him in the tournament, yeah, I could see him beat humour.
- 1:13:18[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I could even, I don't know.
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know how much they trust him, but if, like, if humour is champion, I think humour at least wants to have one triple crown match with Nomura.
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_05]: Actually, look, I don't think Nomura is the worst choice to win this tournament if they have commitment from him.
- 1:13:35[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think he's going to win it, but I do think he just needs to beat you right here, right, to get a title shot.
- 1:13:41[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:13:42[SPEAKER_05]: And then we got Kentill, me, a harvest, a kango machimo.
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_05]: These are all round one matches.
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_05]: The tower was David Boyz's junior, and I'm sorry for, you know, I think David was winning this because I think it'll beat him in the champion carnival.
- 1:13:56[SPEAKER_05]: So she was going out in round one, I think.
- 1:13:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:14:01[SPEAKER_05]: Um, there we got Padeki Suzuki versus Odyssey.
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_05]: Oh boy.
- 1:14:07[SPEAKER_02]: Who was it now?
- 1:14:08[SPEAKER_05]: with Zion in a video on the cork and show.
- 1:14:12[SPEAKER_05]: But I thought we'd talk about him once we get to the listing of this.
- 1:14:14[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, God.
- 1:14:16[SPEAKER_05]: This is all that he obviously.
- 1:14:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, obviously.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_06]: It's like the business buddies from from the next.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_05]: Because they were there both at the same time.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_05]: Actually five years.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_06]: It's a he would have been there.
- 1:14:31[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:14:32[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:14:32[SPEAKER_06]: Same time.
- 1:14:33[SPEAKER_05]: Well, obviously, look, these companies in Japan generally,
- 1:14:38[SPEAKER_05]: Don't give a shit about any allegations about anyone.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_05]: the only time that's ever happened was maybe they got a huge of a stop for a variety of scroll back in.
- 1:14:47[SPEAKER_05]: But that's because the foreign talent rebelled.
- 1:14:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, and also.
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_05]: And that was also because that was in the States because they were bringing in for a strong team.
- 1:14:55[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, and New Japan also actually like, you know, cares about like their like international fan base, whereas I don't really know if all Japan is aware that like international fans of all Japan exist.
- 1:15:08[SPEAKER_05]: You know, it's funny because also when there was some
- 1:15:12[SPEAKER_05]: WWE star.
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_05]: And I can't remember if it was Brian Kendrick.
- 1:15:17[SPEAKER_05]: For some reason, I think it might have been, but I don't think it was, but it was someone was facing allegations and was like, you know, making an apology on a tweet.
- 1:15:26[SPEAKER_05]: And then Hedaki just quotes T tweet the tweet and says, hello, my friend.
- 1:15:32[SPEAKER_05]: This is like a couple years back.
- 1:15:34[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, so I mean, it is what it is.
- 1:15:41[SPEAKER_05]: I've never actually even seen Odyssey restless.
- 1:15:42[SPEAKER_05]: So I have no idea.
- 1:15:44[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yes, I'm like, I had long-stop watching WWE.
- 1:15:48[SPEAKER_05]: But he's a member of Havik with Zion Shino.
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_05]: And he's going over here.
- 1:15:54[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:15:55[SPEAKER_06]: Oh wait, I did wait, I did actually see him wrestle once because I watched the four fro GCW heels have eyes for the culture of twenty twenty five show.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_06]: And he was like in like the battle royal there.
- 1:16:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, oh yeah, right here.
- 1:16:11[SPEAKER_06]: He was the big yeah, right here.
- 1:16:12[SPEAKER_06]: He was the big guy that came out and he was like eliminated like immediately as well.
- 1:16:16[SPEAKER_05]: Really okay.
- 1:16:17[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, I've no idea and it's not big.
- 1:16:21[SPEAKER_05]: All the family good.
- 1:16:23[SPEAKER_05]: No, it does not.
- 1:16:25[SPEAKER_05]: You know, scrolls coming into heat up.
- 1:16:29[SPEAKER_06]: I mean that just kind of says that says everything you need to know it's like like you can't even get buck by like all the pan like it gets buck by.
- 1:16:36[SPEAKER_05]: Well see you know it's funny.
- 1:16:38[SPEAKER_05]: I will say I'm not concerned that X is Marty Scrawl because Marty Scrawl is too small.
- 1:16:42[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, absolutely.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_06]: No, no, no, they'd be like nobody already.
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_06]: I will join your tournament.
- 1:16:48[SPEAKER_06]: That's already ongoing.
- 1:16:49[SPEAKER_06]: We don't need you for that.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_06]: Thanks.
- 1:16:51[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:16:51[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm pretty sure we don't have to worry about that.
- 1:16:54[SPEAKER_05]: Then we have Rocky Honda versus Kuma Rashi.
- 1:16:58[SPEAKER_05]: Hope we're told more versus Zion and I'm going to say I think Zion's winning that.
- 1:17:02[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:17:02[SPEAKER_05]: And then June, June, Saturday versus Brennan, I'm going to assume that June's going to win that too.
- 1:17:07[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, the last is winner goes out in the first round.
- 1:17:09[SPEAKER_05]: Although I guess I obeyed not totally ruling out.
- 1:17:12[SPEAKER_05]: I'm assuming Ray is going on the first round too to X. Paul, who do you think X is?
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_05]: Is it a foreigner?
- 1:17:18[SPEAKER_05]: I know.
- 1:17:18[SPEAKER_06]: I would say no.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_06]: Paul, I would just not knock a. Yeah, that's actually that's actually a pretty decent guess.
- 1:17:25[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 1:17:26[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_05]: Paul, X is on the August third show.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_05]: And that is the show, the same day of Hiabusa versus the pseudo-tenacle.
- 1:17:35[SPEAKER_05]: However, zero one show starts at noon.
- 1:17:37[SPEAKER_05]: The algebra pass show starts at three p.m.
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_05]: and it's about a thirty three minute drive from should keep it to older work gymnasium.
- 1:17:44[SPEAKER_05]: Can absolutely make that on time.
- 1:17:46[SPEAKER_05]: And that zero one shows only a five match show.
- 1:17:49[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:17:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_06]: So, like, I mean, to drive, but let's say, because the election keep us also right next to this station, right?
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_06]: If you just go from there to the other word, I mean, go by train.
- 1:18:02[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, yeah, that's about an hour by train.
- 1:18:04[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it probably is going to drive because that is much faster.
- 1:18:07[SPEAKER_06]: But yeah, I think I think, like, most likely,
- 1:18:13[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I can kind of see that.
- 1:18:15[SPEAKER_06]: I can see that because like who else would it because I don't think it's a foreigner because why would you act the foreigner?
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_06]: Like you already just brought an Odyssey.
- 1:18:24[SPEAKER_06]: Why would you bring in a different foreigner's acts like that doesn't make any sense unless that's like somebody that the audience would know.
- 1:18:32[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:18:33[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know who that.
- 1:18:34[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know Cyrus.
- 1:18:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you know what?
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_06]: That's very possible, too.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_06]: But I don't think it's a foreigner.
- 1:18:40[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's a Japanese guy.
- 1:18:41[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, but he gave you boy Swift Jr.
- 1:18:44[SPEAKER_05]: Again.
- 1:18:45[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:18:45[SPEAKER_05]: I'll go to a gun.
- 1:18:47[SPEAKER_05]: Unless he's like, you kicked me out for Towers.
- 1:18:49[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_06]: That might actually, yeah, you know what?
- 1:18:52[SPEAKER_06]: Actually it might be Syristen.
- 1:18:55[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, so we've got to go through some other possible access, Kojima.
- 1:18:58[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously, like he always has to be the favorite there, like the largest ex in history, he's, I do think he is legitimately a possibility.
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think it's likely, but I do think it's possible.
- 1:19:08[SPEAKER_05]: And, um, Madoka Kakuta.
- 1:19:11[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, and maybe Alice.
- 1:19:14[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe, but yeah, why would they ask him?
- 1:19:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that doesn't make sense.
- 1:19:17[SPEAKER_06]: To start another Dragoncake guy.
- 1:19:20[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe, but who would that, like it would have to be a larger guy as well, like especially if I mean, I guess take one.
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:19:27[SPEAKER_06]: Nah.
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_06]: Like, who knows whatever it's like up of them.
- 1:19:31[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think.
- 1:19:31[SPEAKER_05]: No, I mean, they don't have to use you to send them.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, sorry.
- 1:19:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:19:35[SPEAKER_06]: So yeah.
- 1:19:37[SPEAKER_06]: And otherwise, like the only other guy would pick a kuda or it would be like, shouldn't skyrocket at like large enough.
- 1:19:42[SPEAKER_06]: They're not Kai maybe, but why would you X Kai?
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_05]: And he was just there.
- 1:19:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:19:48[SPEAKER_05]: Lost.
- 1:19:49[SPEAKER_05]: So I don't know.
- 1:19:51[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, those are the ones off the top of my head.
- 1:19:54[SPEAKER_06]: Sekimoto, but again, why would you?
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_06]: Well, maybe if Sekimoto, if they announced Sekimoto has joined a whole Japan.
- 1:20:02[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you know, like in case like I don't think that's really the case, but like if he like, let's say like they signed him, then maybe it would make sense to like ask him here.
- 1:20:11[SPEAKER_06]: Could be like, yeah, here's the newest member of our roster.
- 1:20:14[SPEAKER_06]: That's because Sekimoto.
- 1:20:16[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:20:17[SPEAKER_05]: Those are the, I don't know, those are the best, most realistic possibilities in my head.
- 1:20:23[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:20:23[SPEAKER_05]: So let's go over this older ward gym card.
- 1:20:25[SPEAKER_05]: Sato brothers versus Havik.
- 1:20:27[SPEAKER_05]: June Sato, Ray Sato, it's in your Sato versus Taro Shito, Zion, and Odyssey.
- 1:20:31[SPEAKER_05]: And I think we can tell what's going to happen here.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:20:35[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, Odyssey is going to work.
- 1:20:37[SPEAKER_06]: Like, it's like violence, bringing them in, right?
- 1:20:39[SPEAKER_06]: Like, yeah, it's the went on, fortunately.
- 1:20:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_05]: And then Hoko Tomori and the Rashi versus David Voice with Junior and the X. I mean, it's also obviously like, David Boy and X are going to win because
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, it's Cyrus.
- 1:20:50[SPEAKER_05]: He's going to pin over to you.
- 1:20:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:20:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_06]: There's no way he pins a rush.
- 1:20:55[SPEAKER_06]: He's definitely pinning Hocato.
- 1:20:57[SPEAKER_06]: Actually, in that case, it wouldn't Hocato kind of have a chance of maybe, I don't remember which block.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_06]: Is he in the same block as X?
- 1:21:06[SPEAKER_06]: No, I don't know if he is.
- 1:21:09[SPEAKER_06]: And I know, but I think they wouldn't even be able to meet each other until the semi-final.
- 1:21:12[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think they want to put either Hocato or Cyrus in the final.
- 1:21:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:21:17[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, because it's you got some you got to you got to have all four guys in the final be somewhat credible because it's the semis in the finals in the same show at court.
- 1:21:24[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:21:25[SPEAKER_05]: So you got to have like all four guys be draw or yeah of some kind, right?
- 1:21:30[SPEAKER_05]: Uh, so then to get our TV title.
- 1:21:32[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, God, to Kai she was a curse to your Tokyo Japan.
- 1:21:36[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, that that's going to be something.
- 1:21:39[SPEAKER_06]: That could be a candidate for like worst match of like all Japan's worst match of the year.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, you know the concept of a mid-summer stream, so this match will bring you to a dream because it will probably put you to sleep.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_05]: It's so ridiculous, I'm curious.
- 1:22:05[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, Talos will have to do more, right?
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_06]: Like just by necessity of it being a single smet.
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:22:12[SPEAKER_05]: And then we've got the mid-summer specials, it goes back to volume two, right?
- 1:22:15[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, how do we stay in a morrow?
- 1:22:16[SPEAKER_05]: Get into it.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, that like the this, like, why do these fucking, why do these two matches get the same like labeling, but it couldn't be further apart in terms of like,
- 1:22:27[SPEAKER_05]: I am I'm going to be because these are two guys you know Honda came in after Nomura's neck injury and they have I don't even know if they've wrestled even though they have been on later shows when Nomura came back briefly but this is real fresh and real exciting I think
- 1:22:45[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, no, this is gonna rock like that they're gonna go super fucking hard.
- 1:22:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and I would assume no more is gonna win probably.
- 1:22:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, especially if they want to build them up for like a title match.
- 1:22:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:22:55[SPEAKER_05]: Honda can both be beaten by anyone and even be the main eventer.
- 1:22:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yep.
- 1:22:59[SPEAKER_05]: You kind of guy.
- 1:23:00[SPEAKER_05]: And then we'll take you teleketto be a horror and you may know you're gonna visit that case as you can can go machine.
- 1:23:04[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, which, you know, I would say would be like second most
- 1:23:08[SPEAKER_05]: You really waited back on this show.
- 1:23:09[SPEAKER_05]: I think that's safe to say.
- 1:23:11[SPEAKER_06]: So you think Suzuki can go a winning?
- 1:23:14[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think it's impossible, but I think they're going to give you all of the titles.
- 1:23:18[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:23:18[SPEAKER_06]: So he's going to be like the all age attack title, champ double attack title, champ and triple crown champ.
- 1:23:24[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, then he should just come out.
- 1:23:27[SPEAKER_06]: with like the original triple crown, just all of the builds.
- 1:23:31[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think that anyone is how both the world, the triple crown and the olasia, all they should take title since Missawa briefly did it because
- 1:23:42[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was triple crown champion and then he won the world titles and all Asia titles with a go out beating no fear in nineteen ninety nine.
- 1:23:51[SPEAKER_05]: That sounds courage a title.
- 1:23:53[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I don't think anyone has done it since then and but this little because he's got two different partners with the belts.
- 1:23:59[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:24:00[SPEAKER_06]: I'm a Czech real quick, but actually because we haven't talked about that yet, what do you think of the design?
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_06]: Yep, no, but you're also correct.
- 1:24:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he was.
- 1:24:11[SPEAKER_06]: Was it that that's a record timing wise?
- 1:24:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, no, yeah, you are correct.
- 1:24:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:24:17[SPEAKER_06]: He was between Twitter and Twitter.
- 1:24:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so, but how do you like the design of the new bells?
- 1:24:25[SPEAKER_05]: I think that I'm good.
- 1:24:26[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm glad they kept basically the two belts and kept the, you know, the PWF tag and end of your international tag designs on each one.
- 1:24:35[SPEAKER_06]: So I think it just kind of modernized the design but it kept like the same style and everything.
- 1:24:40[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:24:41[SPEAKER_06]: And like
- 1:24:42[SPEAKER_06]: Like it feels like because I was kind of afraid I kind of like do like some unnecessary modernization to like the phase plates and everything and they didn't do that like they kept the same vibes they just were like yeah these like the those the old bells had just reached the end of their life like that I don't think they were like sayable so they're probably going to like put them up now and like I mean if anything like the they might put because Kirk and has kind of like a showcase for like old bells as well I think that's maybe where they like end up actually yeah
- 1:25:13[SPEAKER_05]: Now, could Suzuki and Kango win, I don't think so.
- 1:25:15[SPEAKER_05]: I think, I think the saddle to come up for those belts later this year.
- 1:25:21[SPEAKER_05]: Which singles division and back to the world tag titles.
- 1:25:25[SPEAKER_05]: Which to be honest, I think that much better at.
- 1:25:27[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, absolutely.
- 1:25:29[SPEAKER_05]: And then in the main event of the show, we've got the junior battle of glory finals.
- 1:25:35[SPEAKER_05]: Well, wait, Paul, there's more because on the tenth, they're in Matsumoto, which is, you may be talking to Tom Town, and that's what the Triple Crown match is happening.
- 1:25:45[SPEAKER_05]: And if I am correct, this is a six-dimensional arena in Matsumoto.
- 1:25:49[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:25:50[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I don't think there's going to be that many fake.
- 1:25:52[SPEAKER_06]: No, Rina's in my tomato.
- 1:25:55[SPEAKER_05]: Which leads me to believe that.
- 1:25:56[SPEAKER_05]: Ask is winning this tournament.
- 1:25:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:25:58[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
- 1:25:59[SPEAKER_06]: Well, winning the not winning the tournament, but winning the like, uh, the triple crown.
- 1:26:05[SPEAKER_05]: No, ask is winning the junior battle.
- 1:26:07[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, sorry.
- 1:26:08[SPEAKER_06]: Sorry.
- 1:26:08[SPEAKER_05]: Sorry.
- 1:26:09[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:26:10[SPEAKER_05]: That's why he's going to challenge for the junior title, also in his hometown.
- 1:26:13[SPEAKER_06]: No, I think that makes a lot of sense.
- 1:26:14[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:26:15[SPEAKER_06]: So you have like basically both brothers like hold like all of the bells essentially.
- 1:26:21[SPEAKER_06]: But he ended up to show.
- 1:26:22[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:26:24[SPEAKER_05]: So and I think so Dan was someone I was like, maybe he'll be a final season block.
- 1:26:30[SPEAKER_05]: We would ask he.
- 1:26:30[SPEAKER_05]: So it's got to be at ski versus rising higher though, especially if they're going to reinvent this motor ward.
- 1:26:36[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like you have like that's like the biggest possible junior match.
- 1:26:40[SPEAKER_06]: You can make because I don't know what this will draw otherwise.
- 1:26:45[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I was just getting that was my next topic of conversation.
- 1:26:48[SPEAKER_05]: Does this break?
- 1:26:49[SPEAKER_05]: Fifteen hundred.
- 1:26:50[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think so.
- 1:26:51[SPEAKER_06]: Like it's just have never been a draw in all Japan.
- 1:26:55[SPEAKER_05]: No, and it's look, there's a tag title match and there's an axe, but it's still not enough of an undercard.
- 1:27:00[SPEAKER_06]: No.
- 1:27:02[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I mean, I like he take in Kengo, but like, that's not exactly like a drawing like challenge a team either.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_05]: And then I want the loss of Paul.
- 1:27:12[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no.
- 1:27:14[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:27:14[SPEAKER_05]: So here's the thing.
- 1:27:15[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if it'll be disaster.
- 1:27:17[SPEAKER_05]: I think they're going to get a thousand people, but here's the thing.
- 1:27:21[SPEAKER_05]: All the premium seats in the special ring side of the ring side are not sold out.
- 1:27:25[SPEAKER_05]: They usually do so.
- 1:27:27[SPEAKER_05]: That's bad.
- 1:27:28[SPEAKER_05]: They usually sell out on the corkens, even when the corkens draw like shit.
- 1:27:32[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because I think they generally sell because I think like the same way as new Japan does, they do like a
- 1:27:39[SPEAKER_06]: They do like a lottery for like the fan club first.
- 1:27:42[SPEAKER_06]: Like so you don't generally don't have a chance to even buy these in like public sale.
- 1:27:49[SPEAKER_06]: Like then generally not even available.
- 1:27:51[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:27:52[SPEAKER_06]: So that's that's a bad sign.
- 1:27:53[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:27:54[SPEAKER_05]: Now, what is a slight slimmer of hope is that the reserve arena seats and the second floor stand seats of the cheap sheet seats and then the reserve seats on the floor.
- 1:28:06[SPEAKER_05]: other than like the front rows, they have also triangles.
- 1:28:10[SPEAKER_05]: So some of those have also moved.
- 1:28:12[SPEAKER_06]: But I mean that might also be like how many of these that they even like open up, you know?
- 1:28:17[SPEAKER_05]: So think of thousands of people.
- 1:28:19[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I do think they will, but it's like, yeah, it's it's not gonna look great.
- 1:28:23[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's not good.
- 1:28:25[SPEAKER_06]: What do you think that this about the show will draw?
- 1:28:28[SPEAKER_06]: How many people can you fit in there?
- 1:28:30[SPEAKER_06]: Six thousand.
- 1:28:30[SPEAKER_06]: Okay, I don't think they're gonna do that.
- 1:28:33[SPEAKER_06]: Don't think they're gonna get that many people.
- 1:28:36[SPEAKER_06]: I do think it will out draw the auto watch show.
- 1:28:39[SPEAKER_06]: I would say.
- 1:28:41[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I do think that I think like to those two thousand feel like a fair.
- 1:28:47[SPEAKER_05]: That's okay.
- 1:28:49[SPEAKER_05]: So let's okay.
- 1:28:50[SPEAKER_05]: So there's only four categories of tickets on that's about a special rings.
- 1:28:54[SPEAKER_05]: I first for reserve seed.
- 1:28:56[SPEAKER_05]: first floor, reserve C, B, which are like, two thousand yen less than the A version of that.
- 1:29:01[SPEAKER_05]: The second floor unreserved.
- 1:29:03[SPEAKER_05]: So, second floor unreserved is a circle.
- 1:29:06[SPEAKER_05]: So plenty available.
- 1:29:07[SPEAKER_05]: All the others are triangle.
- 1:29:08[SPEAKER_05]: Although mind you, we just found out that Uma was exactly.
- 1:29:12[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:29:13[SPEAKER_05]: And we just don't, and then ask you, I assume, will be winning the tournament and challenging for you.
- 1:29:18[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:29:19[SPEAKER_05]: So I do think that one will like draw pretty good.
- 1:29:22[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:29:22[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, if they get to a thousand, I would call that a success at this point.
- 1:29:26[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:29:27[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, especially in like a really remote area, right?
- 1:29:30[SPEAKER_06]: Like, because it's not like if you look at what Matsumoto is, it's not like you're going to be able to draw in like a bunch of people from like surrounding areas.
- 1:29:38[SPEAKER_06]: Like the next biggest one is like Nagano and I don't know how many people I want to go from like go for literally fruit amounts to like get to Matsumoto.
- 1:29:48[SPEAKER_05]: So let's take a step back and more of a meta and also of all Japan.
- 1:29:53[SPEAKER_05]: Watch people down on it and I understand why.
- 1:29:56[SPEAKER_05]: But do you see some white at the end of the tunnel par?
- 1:29:59[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, basically just with the end of the, because we're about to get to the end of the June rain, which I think has just sat the lot and actually you are in his hometown in his hometown in that big.
- 1:30:12[SPEAKER_05]: In a bit, hey, they had you might be kind of in Fukuoka.
- 1:30:16[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, what?
- 1:30:17[SPEAKER_05]: That was a small venue.
- 1:30:18[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 1:30:19[SPEAKER_06]: Like, you can't just, like, this is basically what I've been, like, let's say, June had challenged and like, send, I ended up like punk them out there, like, no, you can't do that.
- 1:30:29[SPEAKER_06]: Or I don't know, maybe he's going to come out straight and like the local town flag and then they're going to beat him.
- 1:30:36[SPEAKER_06]: But yeah, no, I don't think that's what they're going to do.
- 1:30:39[SPEAKER_06]: I think he's winning the title like because why else would he even run this bigger building in this small of a town unless you felt certain that, you know, like, and here's the other thing.
- 1:30:49[SPEAKER_06]: if he loses you have to burn down Matsumoto as a town forever like you can basically never come back because you're not gonna draw anymore like right like it's just done if he loses cause like the people just gonna be like well why why should we like you just told us that like oh yeah or like basically like local star like one of the biggest guys like to come from this town like you just like had him lose a big match like right in front of us like why would we ever trust you again to like
- 1:31:18[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:31:21[SPEAKER_05]: So Paul is is you must surviving.
- 1:31:25[SPEAKER_05]: Okay, though.
- 1:31:29[SPEAKER_06]: I guess it depends to challenge us.
- 1:31:32[SPEAKER_05]: I mentioned that they've got the triple crown in a bigger venue in Hokkaido, but it's not in support, but it's like a thousand.
- 1:31:38[SPEAKER_06]: What if exist, Jake Lee?
- 1:31:39[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, oh, God, I forgot about that.
- 1:31:43[SPEAKER_05]: As far as I've heard that he's still this promo stuff for New Japan.
- 1:31:48[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but that would be kind of fun.
- 1:31:50[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that would be.
- 1:31:52[SPEAKER_06]: But because like it would then the tournament would have had to be won by somebody that I think beats him and I don't think like looking at the tournament unless canto wins the tournament.
- 1:32:05[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think there's anybody in there that I think would be beat it.
- 1:32:09[SPEAKER_06]: would be beating Yuma to be quite honest unless X is like somebody that it's going to be really obviously winning the title.
- 1:32:17[SPEAKER_05]: There is a, uh, is there a cork in before?
- 1:32:21[SPEAKER_05]: There's a cork in for the Hokkaido tour.
- 1:32:24[SPEAKER_05]: So that I could do that there.
- 1:32:26[SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
- 1:32:26[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:32:27[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, and what's this Tokyo arena touchy Kawawa?
- 1:32:30[SPEAKER_05]: How big is that?
- 1:32:31[SPEAKER_05]: Because that's before the cork in before.
- 1:32:34[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, that's a basketball arena.
- 1:32:35[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:32:36[SPEAKER_06]: What's about to say?
- 1:32:36[SPEAKER_06]: Didn't they run that one before?
- 1:32:38[SPEAKER_06]: September, twenty-third, right?
- 1:32:41[SPEAKER_06]: I think they ran that one already.
- 1:32:43[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:32:45[SPEAKER_05]: The world road are on September, fifteenth at Corkin and then on twenty-third of September that Tokyo Tachikawa Tachirina, which is a basketball arena, of course, because that's Fukuda.
- 1:32:59[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:33:00[SPEAKER_05]: So that's where that's going to happen, right?
- 1:33:02[SPEAKER_06]: That's yeah.
- 1:33:03[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that's where I think yeah.
- 1:33:06[SPEAKER_06]: So they do need someone relatively baked in as well for like the Hokkaido show as well.
- 1:33:10[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, well, maybe it is Ken to if it is Ken to then.
- 1:33:13[SPEAKER_05]: So when it really talks to you, Kawak to Chihi Tokyo, the show we have.
- 1:33:18[SPEAKER_05]: Five, five, uh, uh, uh, seat tiers.
- 1:33:23[SPEAKER_05]: Four of them are triengled already.
- 1:33:25[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I'm assuming though, that's the fan club.
- 1:33:27[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:33:28[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:33:28[SPEAKER_05]: That's respectable already.
- 1:33:30[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it's a feels like the fence.
- 1:33:32[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe you have like a guest that like Japanese fans have a guest that maybe something big has happened in there.
- 1:33:37[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, for sure.
- 1:33:38[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so I think, well, I don't know who would be big enough.
- 1:33:42[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it really could only be kind of like out of the people that are in the tournament.
- 1:33:46[SPEAKER_06]: No mora or is that too big?
- 1:33:48[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no mora.
- 1:33:49[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, right.
- 1:33:50[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, but I don't think that no mora is going to win the whole thing, but I mean, I guess maybe because I don't really see anybody else.
- 1:33:58[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously.
- 1:33:59[SPEAKER_06]: And again, it depends who access.
- 1:34:01[SPEAKER_06]: But like, for example, I don't think Axis gonna be Anzile.
- 1:34:04[SPEAKER_06]: So, because that doesn't make any sense because he said he was gonna be gone for like July and August.
- 1:34:10[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:34:12[SPEAKER_05]: What are the chances of it?
- 1:34:13[SPEAKER_05]: It's gonna be you, Marversus Cantio, on December, thirty-first.
- 1:34:18[SPEAKER_06]: See if Hokkaido is you, Marversus Cantio, I think Cantio is winning.
- 1:34:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:34:21[SPEAKER_06]: And then I think they're gonna do Cantio Anzile December, thirty-first, if not.
- 1:34:26[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I just don't like, I think the only way you Margets
- 1:34:29[SPEAKER_06]: to December thirty-first is if he isn't getting challenged by Anzi or Kenjo.
- 1:34:36[SPEAKER_06]: I think if either of them is challenging him, he's losing.
- 1:34:39[SPEAKER_06]: If either of them is challenging him before then, before December thirty-first is losing.
- 1:34:44[SPEAKER_06]: If not, I think he will actually get there.
- 1:34:46[SPEAKER_06]: Because I don't think anybody else on a roster, I think realistically it's gonna like beat him right now.
- 1:34:52[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 1:34:52[SPEAKER_06]: Wait, what if X is Suhama?
- 1:34:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's very possible too.
- 1:34:55[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I don't know why you would X Suhama, but
- 1:34:58[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, he has been around all this late, but he's coming to like, slot the slap up human.
- 1:35:05[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, for his light and pop.
- 1:35:10[SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, I mean, there's a lot of questions there.
- 1:35:12[SPEAKER_05]: So I mean, hopefully it's some light at the end of the tunnel for all Japan out of this sort of two lines of shadow rain.
- 1:35:18[SPEAKER_05]: And with that, Paul, I think we're done and I think we can take a little more time off now.
- 1:35:24[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, until after that August third show, cover and everything like that.
- 1:35:31[SPEAKER_05]: So we'll be back in a couple of weeks and enjoy all the wrestling out there.
- 1:35:36[SPEAKER_05]: Bye.
