- 3:54Speaker 1: a burger like not you know like enough.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I can't.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Like I literally was getting and like makey burgers and
- 4:01Speaker 1: ship like that in a guila and I had to
- 4:02Speaker 1: pull them apart, Like why I even got this bread
- 4:04Speaker 1: because I can't into my mouth wide enough to enjoy it.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But so I was bitch, was laying down all weekend

- 4:20Speaker 1: You ain't got to go nowhere for the rest of
- 4:21Speaker 1: the year, Like I'm so sick of a plane.

- 4:30Speaker 2: Come to the comment section of my picture. I'm about
- 4:32Speaker 2: to post some bathy souit pits am. So people don't
- 4:36Speaker 2: leave a comment. Shit, leave up. Can't you send some
- 4:39Speaker 2: money off on Instagram?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, send me a gift? Right, you better make
- 4:43Speaker 1: sure your ship monetized.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna go do that right the fuck now.
- 4:48Speaker 2: So I went to Malta. Malta is so beautiful. It's
- 4:54Speaker 2: a nice place. It's really hot, the food is good.
- 4:56Speaker 2: That people are really nice. A lot of people I
- 4:58Speaker 2: don't understand, Like I don't like people be speaking English,
- 5:01Speaker 2: but it just still don't sound like it, you know
- 5:03Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Like people be talking in English to you,
- 5:06Speaker 2: but they English sound like some other shit. I've been
- 5:09Speaker 2: smiling and shaking my head yes all week and don't
- 5:11Speaker 2: know what the fuck nobody's saying to me. That's it.
- 5:14Speaker 1: But I had that what's the language there? What's the
- 5:17Speaker 1: their local language? Is it English or what?
- 5:21Speaker 2: Mmm? I don't know, Waltesian bitch, I don't know, yo,
- 5:29Speaker 2: dumb we still I don't know. Like everybody was speaking
- 5:35Speaker 2: English to me once they heard me speaking English, so
- 5:37Speaker 2: it was like, you know, I did. I never I
- 5:41Speaker 2: never got to hear anybody speak their native tongue. I
- 5:44Speaker 2: apologize if I sounded ignorant, but I didn't, you know,
- 5:48Speaker 2: went to the beach, went to the water, like listen,
- 5:51Speaker 2: I know, I'm an auntie. We went to the pool.
- 5:53Speaker 2: It was like a pool party with house music. You know,
- 5:56Speaker 2: that same beat, that constant, same beat the whole time. Baby.
- 6:00Speaker 2: He fell asleep at the pool at one o'clock and
- 6:02Speaker 2: woke up six pm, slept and in the heat ten line.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I don't know if you can see it on here.
- 6:15Speaker 2: The only reason we woke up is Nigga got stung
- 6:17Speaker 2: by Bee who you no, not me?
- 6:20Speaker 1: Oh Nigga.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I was like he woke him up, and it was
- 6:28Speaker 2: so funny because I was like, are you okay, let
- 6:30Speaker 2: me go get you something. He's like, I'm fine, I'm fine.
- 6:32Speaker 2: But later on he told me he was like he
- 6:34Speaker 2: thought he was about to be like He's like, I
- 6:37Speaker 2: was really Panica, but I ain't want you to see.
- 6:40Speaker 1: He's not about to die, Like it's over with.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like, vacation over, bitch, we got to go.
- 6:46Speaker 2: My face does smoll up, but nothing happened. He was
- 6:49Speaker 2: all right. He pulled the stinger out and look at
- 6:50Speaker 2: like Martin Lawrence, right, look up. Yeah. So now I'm
- 6:55Speaker 2: back in London and I'll be back home in the
- 6:57Speaker 2: morning for my actual birthday. I'm gonna be back.
- 7:00Speaker 1: What you're doing for your birthday? You got something plan? Oh?
- 7:04Speaker 2: This is it? This was my birthday. Hopefully somebody will
- 7:07Speaker 2: pull upon me like I know it's your birthday. Let
- 7:09Speaker 2: me take you to dinner or something like that. We'll
- 7:12Speaker 2: see though. Yeah, I had a great weekend. Let's get
- 7:17Speaker 2: in the sins.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I wanted to start off this right quick.
- 7:22Speaker 1: And this may not really be send Simpson, it might
- 7:27Speaker 1: be kind of fucked up. But I saw this article
- 7:31Speaker 1: online with this eighth and fifty pounds Wisconsin woman being
- 7:37Speaker 1: stuck in her mom's home after she passed away there,
- 7:42Speaker 1: So she was stuck in the house for a while
- 7:44Speaker 1: dead and they're saying it took thirty men included firefighters, polleys, ems, ems,
- 7:52Speaker 1: staff and the funeral homeworkle out there, everybody, right and
- 8:00Speaker 1: to help get this body out of the house. And
- 8:04Speaker 1: her mom was like, you know, this was just unfortunate,
- 8:07Speaker 1: this happened to my baby, and they need to have
- 8:09Speaker 1: something to put in place. Put up that is it's
- 8:12Speaker 1: an anomaly, ma'am. There's not a whole lot of eight
- 8:15Speaker 1: hundred fifty pounds people just hanging around.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Ever, Ever, eight hundred and fifty pounds is crazy. To
- 8:21Speaker 2: have a protocol set up a diet. A diet is
- 8:25Speaker 2: the protocol, ma'am.
- 8:28Speaker 1: My thing was maybe they could have called a zoo,
- 8:30Speaker 1: because I'm pretty sure they got like some type of
- 8:33Speaker 1: heavy heavy lifting, or maybe they be just cutting animals
- 8:36Speaker 1: up at the zoo and yand up and got there.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Kroger I don't know, but they could have done. But
- 8:42Speaker 1: then you're dealing with like a big, heavy dead body
- 8:47Speaker 1: in a house with walls and doorways and shit like that.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Like how you I just don't understand, Like how you
- 8:54Speaker 2: let your baby get their bid.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I think it's a codependency. I think it's in a
- 9:00Speaker 1: it's abuse, It's what I think, like some people don't
- 9:04Speaker 1: have self control at all. Just pull away from the table.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And her mom probably was the one making the mules,
- 9:10Speaker 1: just feeding feeding her, feeding her all that shit, because
- 9:13Speaker 1: I because at a fifty you can't get up.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Yeah, she couldn't leave the house. When was the last
- 9:18Speaker 2: time that woman left the house?
- 9:20Speaker 1: You know? Yeah? Oh that's not the kicker is once
- 9:25Speaker 1: they got her out the house, once he's thirty, Mini
- 9:27Speaker 1: men got her out the house. They left her in
- 9:30Speaker 1: a van overnight because they didn't know what to do
- 9:33Speaker 1: with her. They didn't have a gurney and even a
- 9:35Speaker 1: even a what is it called? Is it like a gas?
- 9:39Speaker 1: Is a gastric a gastric bypassed? No, not a gastric?
- 9:44Speaker 1: What is the word I'm looking for? Gurnie, like a
- 9:48Speaker 1: big ass gurney. What's the what is the medical word
- 9:52Speaker 1: for big ass shit, fork lift shit.
- 9:58Speaker 2: I'm sorry. I'm sorry, y'all. I don't know what the
- 10:01Speaker 2: biggest girdy.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Is, Like, oh, what is the word for like big things,
- 10:06Speaker 1: like big medical things? What's the word?
- 10:11Speaker 2: Bitch? I don't know what you're talking about, but I
- 10:14Speaker 2: know that is the saddest shit I ever heard. Because
- 10:17Speaker 2: they couldn't. They said they couldn't creamate her. They ain't
- 10:20Speaker 2: had no nobody would take her and home could take her.
- 10:25Speaker 2: How they was gonna take her? The only like the
- 10:29Speaker 2: zoo probably could have you know, did something and that's it.
- 10:33Speaker 2: And who knows how far that is. How do you
- 10:35Speaker 2: eat that many calories and you get eight and fifty pounds?
- 10:39Speaker 1: I don't understand.
- 10:41Speaker 2: But you got to be like just like eating all
- 10:43Speaker 2: day like marathon eating rest. The piece says, huh, I'd
- 10:51Speaker 2: be tired of eating. Yeah, me too. I was trying
- 10:54Speaker 2: to eat everything I could this weekend because it was free.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Need that, But bitch, I was definitely eat my ass
- 11:04Speaker 1: off last week and now I'm just fucking miser bitch
- 11:06Speaker 1: about it. Had a hundred Johnny cakes, I ate a lot.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna lie. I need to go on a wrong
- 11:12Speaker 2: diet for two days or so because I ate everything.
- 11:15Speaker 2: One nail down and I'm about to have me some
- 11:17Speaker 2: fish and chips here in London. What else?
- 11:21Speaker 1: I don't know, Girl, No motherfucker try to take my
- 11:25Speaker 1: nigga Trump out. Dog.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I see that I was over there when that shit happened.
- 11:30Speaker 2: They was talking. Everybody over there was talking about it.
- 11:32Speaker 2: You can hear all the little conversations going on about it.
- 11:34Speaker 1: What people are saying over there in Europe.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Basically, I mean similar to America, Like they don't they careful. Nah,
- 11:46Speaker 2: they're basically like the sniper, like basically fucked up, you know,
- 11:52Speaker 2: like you had one job kind of thing. But I
- 11:53Speaker 2: don't agree with that. Yeah, I don't listen, even if
- 11:57Speaker 2: I'm not the hugest fan of his politics, I don't
- 12:00Speaker 2: want nobody to be murdered. That's insane, Like when.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Has it ever been okay for everybody has co signed
- 12:07Speaker 1: to collectively hate this one person. And this is why
- 12:10Speaker 1: I go left when everybody else going right.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Like, listen, I don't. I don't subscribe to that. I
- 12:16Speaker 2: don't want, even as much as I'm not his hugest fan,
- 12:20Speaker 2: killing him in front of everybody on a stage and
- 12:24Speaker 2: just murdering somebody is just not cool. Now, I will
- 12:27Speaker 2: say when he stood up with that blood coming down
- 12:31Speaker 2: inside his face with his fisted up, man and man's def.
- 12:34Speaker 1: But that shit was kind of fire. I ain't gonna
- 12:36Speaker 1: hold that is an album cover now, I said, what
- 12:39Speaker 1: American see? This is when I start thinking should be
- 12:41Speaker 1: staged halfway. I'm like in the middle. I'm like fifty
- 12:44Speaker 1: to fifty with the thing, because okay, the fist pump
- 12:48Speaker 1: with American flag, it's a photo op. Somebody put that
- 12:51Speaker 1: flag into the picture because if you watch the actual
- 12:54Speaker 1: it wasn't rally, it wasn't there, So who picked that?
- 12:57Speaker 1: I mean, within minutes were talking, I don't know, fifteen minutes,
- 13:01Speaker 1: this was the photo op. This was the picture out there,
- 13:03Speaker 1: fist in the air. But my thing is, we know
- 13:06Speaker 1: when guns ring out, people scattered. What I fun sitting
- 13:10Speaker 1: there behind him? I was.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I thought that was strange too. I thought that was
- 13:14Speaker 2: real strange behavior. And it was like like rallying, like
- 13:19Speaker 2: y'all need to get the fuck out of there in it,
- 13:21Speaker 2: like what has happened? Why?
- 13:22Speaker 1: Because y'all sitting there?
- 13:23Speaker 2: That was weird? I agree, I agree that was insane.
- 13:26Speaker 2: To be still sitting there.
- 13:28Speaker 1: And then the body dead on the roof. The gunmen
- 13:31Speaker 1: that they this is a twenty twenty something year old guy. Yeah,
- 13:35Speaker 1: that they they shot. And people were reporting reportingly seeing
- 13:39Speaker 1: somebody climbing up on the building with an AR fifteen
- 13:43Speaker 1: on his back and reported it to the police and
- 13:46Speaker 1: Secret Service and they just was all acting like, huh,
- 13:48Speaker 1: what so what is he set up? So this is
- 13:50Speaker 1: where I'm like, fifty to fifty, this is the Truman Show.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I see my picture where you could see a bullet
- 13:57Speaker 1: glazing through the like a still image of a rick
- 14:00Speaker 1: a bullet come on that is that's obviously like a
- 14:05Speaker 1: cut in the goddamn backdrop.
- 14:07Speaker 2: It's a lot going on.
- 14:09Speaker 1: It was a lot I just.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Right now.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I just feel like our lives about to change
- 14:15Speaker 1: a little bit. We gotta we gotta be just even
- 14:21Speaker 1: if it is fake, they're doing it for a reason. So,
- 14:25Speaker 1: like I said, beat the observer, don't don't, don't really
- 14:29Speaker 1: lend your energy completely to it, but recognize what the
- 14:32Speaker 1: fuck is up so you can plan accordingly. That's it.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Bidens gonna have to get in the car and explode.
- 14:38Speaker 2: And he just vanished and some ship I don't know that,
- 14:41Speaker 2: Like he's gonna have to come up with some new ship.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Biden just got on in a conference. Uh he just
- 14:47Speaker 1: did a conference and said no, he said make America
- 14:52Speaker 1: great again. That happened today, not you, not you voting
- 14:57Speaker 1: for Trump? Biden? What the fuck is happening? He calls
- 15:02Speaker 1: the Lensky president putin. He called Famala Harris, Vice President Trump.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Now you talking about make America great again? Who are
- 15:12Speaker 1: you voting for? Biden? Did we ask you?
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yet?
- 15:14Speaker 1: He did approve for rfk's uh secrets uh security secret
- 15:24Speaker 1: Service security. So now he has has now has access
- 15:28Speaker 1: to the secrets security Secret Service. He's what the fuck
- 15:31Speaker 1: he now has access? He has a t twister. He
- 15:35Speaker 1: now has access to secret service. Fuck secret service security.
- 15:43Speaker 1: But with the whole tobacco over the weekend, I wouldn't
- 15:46Speaker 1: want them securing ship for me. I mean literal ship.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Y'all would not be able to secure a bag of
- 15:51Speaker 1: ship for me, because no, y'all let there the Foremo
- 15:56Speaker 1: sitting president and some some reports are saying it's not
- 15:59Speaker 1: an actual gun shot that scave his ear. It was
- 16:03Speaker 1: the boy hit a temple teleprompter and the glass exploded
- 16:06Speaker 1: and hit his ear, I mean, and that could be
- 16:08Speaker 1: a thing. I saw one image of him like on
- 16:11Speaker 1: the ground, you know, from down off the floor, So
- 16:15Speaker 1: that could very well be what happened. But this shouldn't happen.
- 16:19Speaker 1: But America is famous for assassinating its presidents. Let's be
- 16:23Speaker 1: very clear. This would not be the first time, and
- 16:25Speaker 1: it definitely won't be the last time. But as black people,
- 16:28Speaker 1: we need to sit back and just observe and chill
- 16:31Speaker 1: right because the cousins is fighting, the white cousins is fighting.
- 16:34Speaker 2: On they're going at it. Let me tell you. When
- 16:36Speaker 2: this shit was all going down and it was like
- 16:38Speaker 2: going crazy, I was like, damn, that's crazy. I'm so
- 16:41Speaker 2: far away past me, that lopster, because I entertained that
- 16:45Speaker 2: when I get back across the park right now, I
- 16:47Speaker 2: cannot be bothered. That's how I felt, because it's just
- 16:50Speaker 2: a lot. It's a lot.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Yeah, they're doing too much right now, and it's just
- 16:54Speaker 1: it's just scary time, unprecedented times. And for all people
- 16:58Speaker 1: who got jokes about the shit man, anything that be happening.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Oh another thing they did was throw out his the
- 17:04Speaker 1: federal case with the classified documents down in Florida, because
- 17:08Speaker 1: they're saying the attorney, I mean, the judge that even
- 17:12Speaker 1: brought those charges on was put he wasn't the legit,
- 17:17Speaker 1: he's not legitimate, like he did it unconstitutionally. So what
- 17:22Speaker 1: else are y'all doing? What else have y'all done against
- 17:25Speaker 1: the law? Okay, it's just it's just scary. So I
- 17:29Speaker 1: just feel like all these things, it sets precedents for
- 17:32Speaker 1: the people. When they kicked Trump off of social media
- 17:35Speaker 1: while he was the sitting president, President, y'all should have
- 17:38Speaker 1: seen that as a warning for us. If they could
- 17:40Speaker 1: do that to a sitting president, what they're gonna do
- 17:42Speaker 1: to the citizens. So never mind who the person is,
- 17:45Speaker 1: just just look at it like this. They're set. They
- 17:47Speaker 1: set in precedents for what they want to do to
- 17:49Speaker 1: day to day individual citizens. And if they want to
- 17:52Speaker 1: bury your ass, they could. So somebody didn't.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Lose their lives at that rally. I don't feel like
- 17:58Speaker 2: it's nothing new though.
- 18:00Speaker 1: No, absolutely not. But I don't think it's the time
- 18:03Speaker 1: to be laughing and making jokes like Black people love
- 18:05Speaker 1: to be so entertained. We be just I guess that's
- 18:07Speaker 1: how we stay alive.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I guess that's how it's a coping mechanism. Girl, That's
- 18:11Speaker 2: how we cope because I know one thing I'm gonna do.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I'm a cracker joke. I'm gonna find a way to
- 18:16Speaker 2: make it funny myself so I don't cry.
- 18:19Speaker 1: We be chilling, and they work around the clock trying
- 18:21Speaker 1: to figure out how they could fuck black people up.
- 18:23Speaker 1: We just keep multiplying. We don't die. We multiplying. So
- 18:26Speaker 1: they probably be aggravated, Like god damn. Now they need
- 18:29Speaker 1: us to procreate? How about that anyway?
- 18:32Speaker 2: Period? Speaking of doing too much, you seen Dwayne Wade
- 18:36Speaker 2: coming out. He said he coming out with a nail
- 18:38Speaker 2: caro line. Girl, were living in a fucking matrix.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It's some vortex. Let me out, let me off, let
- 18:51Speaker 1: me all do it.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Why why he wanted that? Why he wanted that because
- 18:55Speaker 2: I would actually make a lot of money on it, though.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I wonder what it would what it would be like,
- 19:02Speaker 1: just like some Sally Johansson type ship. Yeah, what the
- 19:06Speaker 1: fuck he.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Gonna do any different than anybody else. There's gonna be
- 19:08Speaker 2: a black or pinka red like with the fanail polish
- 19:11Speaker 2: cleaning like you do bottle, make the bottle look masculine
- 19:16Speaker 2: or something.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Why that like you couldn't think of nothing else, brilliant
- 19:22Speaker 1: black man? What has he done since basketball? Is he
- 19:26Speaker 1: he's retired?
- 19:27Speaker 2: Right, yes, he's retired.
- 19:30Speaker 1: So what else? Like any other business ventures? Like you
- 19:32Speaker 1: want to do fing and el shit, dog, I just
- 19:36Speaker 1: think of him like my little son in a room
- 19:38Speaker 1: somewhere like fu up post.
- 19:47Speaker 2: A lot of these, you know, excuse me. Wealthy entertainers
- 19:52Speaker 2: may be polishing their nails now it's a thing. It's
- 19:56Speaker 2: a thing. Drake be wearing his nails polish. Who else
- 19:59Speaker 2: you having this it on?
- 20:01Speaker 1: All of them?
- 20:03Speaker 2: Uzzi Uzzi be having his nail polish like so they're
- 20:07Speaker 2: coming out.
- 20:08Speaker 1: With like ya and all of them little man bag.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Now they got the little Now they're gonna have man
- 20:14Speaker 2: fingernail polish. But think about it. The eighties then they
- 20:18Speaker 2: were their nails polish. They were very androgenous.
- 20:21Speaker 1: A couple a couple of people. I mean, you had
- 20:23Speaker 1: the Icy Brothers who had the tight pants on in
- 20:26Speaker 1: the midriff shirts.
- 20:27Speaker 2: And lous and ship. Yeah.
- 20:29Speaker 1: But I don't know, I don't know, man. Everybody want
- 20:34Speaker 1: to be like the gods.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Another person doing too much. Since we're still talking about
- 20:41Speaker 2: doing too much, that's the thing for the sins doing
- 20:43Speaker 2: too fucking much. Designer uh said that. So last year
- 20:49Speaker 2: he exposed himself on the plane and he had offender
- 20:53Speaker 2: me too, and he said it was because he was vegan,
- 21:00Speaker 2: That's what he said. He said he was not having
- 21:03Speaker 2: enough sugar and stuff like that, and he was vegan
- 21:06Speaker 2: and he just tweaked out. He was just out of
- 21:08Speaker 2: his body. And that's a quote. But I ain't never
- 21:11Speaker 2: seen no It's a lot of vegans out here, and
- 21:13Speaker 2: I ain't seen no dicks on the plane. I could
- 21:15Speaker 2: promise you. I've flown with several vegans and it ain't
- 21:18Speaker 2: Nobody pulled they dick out.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Hold on this thing, says. When he landedad he said
- 21:22Speaker 1: he was greeted by the FBI and was asked why
- 21:25Speaker 1: he exposed and allegedly pleasured himself on the flight. So
- 21:29Speaker 1: was he just playing with his dick in his sleep
- 21:31Speaker 1: or something, because apparently he was.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Sleeping doing all of that. Let me stop laughing at
- 21:43Speaker 2: his misfortune, because maybe he did have like a I
- 21:47Speaker 2: don't know if not having enough sugar can do that,
- 21:49Speaker 2: but maybe you know.
- 21:52Speaker 1: He's a registered sex offender now because of it. Though,
- 21:55Speaker 1: So he did plead guilty to decent exposure last year,
- 21:58Speaker 1: and he didn't it to struggling with his mental health
- 22:02Speaker 1: before asking for prayers.
- 22:05Speaker 2: H I liked.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I liked.
- 22:08Speaker 2: You know me too, I'm a fan. He seemed like
- 22:11Speaker 2: a joyous spirit. Whenever you see him, like on like
- 22:15Speaker 2: you know, the internet or on TV, he looked he
- 22:17Speaker 2: seemed pretty joyous. So just don't do that again, my boy?
- 22:21Speaker 2: Can he still fly?
- 22:23Speaker 1: Right? Do you would think that Nigga's band for backing
- 22:26Speaker 1: that meat on a plane? I don't know. Maybe somebody did,
- 22:30Speaker 1: and maybe it wasn't just a diet. Maybe you know,
- 22:32Speaker 1: I just go. I just feel like people don't be
- 22:36Speaker 1: going wackle for no reason.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Man. One let me tell you one time, one of
- 22:40Speaker 2: my clients, she's a regular, and she came and got
- 22:42Speaker 2: her hair done and she just kept falling asleep, like
- 22:46Speaker 2: but it was different, Like you know, I have people
- 22:48Speaker 2: those off during their hair appointment, but this sleep looked.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Like like heroin sleep.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Like she was slobbing. I'm talking about long slob
- 22:56Speaker 2: coming out her mouth. She could not stay away. She
- 22:58Speaker 2: was like, I was like, are you okay? Like this different?
- 23:01Speaker 2: Stand up and do some jumping jacks like you cuz
- 23:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna burn you. I was like, like, this is different.
- 23:06Speaker 2: She's like, girl, I don't know, I don't know. I
- 23:09Speaker 2: was like, do you like, do you need to stay
- 23:10Speaker 2: here and rest? Do you need to call somebody to
- 23:12Speaker 2: come get you? And she's like no, I'm good. And
- 23:14Speaker 2: she drove and I was very nervous about her driving
- 23:16Speaker 2: because of how she was falling asleep. Do you know
- 23:20Speaker 2: this girl went to get like she had a prescription
- 23:24Speaker 2: for something, right, something normal women stuff like maybe like
- 23:28Speaker 2: a yust In fiction or something, you know, just a
- 23:30Speaker 2: prescription dye flukin or something like that. Do you know
- 23:33Speaker 2: they gave her some psychedelic psycho like schizo drugs by accident.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Oh shit?
- 23:41Speaker 2: And she was driving around on that shit, sitting in
- 23:43Speaker 2: my chair slobbing because then I gave her the pharmacy
- 23:46Speaker 2: gave her the wrong medicine.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Even when I have my prescription, I saw always like
- 23:51Speaker 1: google stuff.
- 23:52Speaker 2: You gotta, yeah, you gotta.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I know what I'm getting. I'm not. I don't ever
- 23:57Speaker 1: just accept anything from anybody, no food, no medicine. I
- 24:01Speaker 1: need to know exactly what it is that I'm putting
- 24:03Speaker 1: in my body. Like people be too trusting in this,
- 24:06Speaker 1: this whole system, especially the medical system, especially black people
- 24:10Speaker 1: like this. Motherfuckers. They never did nothing to be okay
- 24:12Speaker 1: with us. They've been trying to hurt us since the
- 24:14Speaker 1: beginning of the time. Like, why y'all trusting them? I'm confused, girls,
- 24:19Speaker 1: so that is a big mistake. Oh okay, she's good.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Now, well she she ain't got paid yet, but she's
- 24:24Speaker 2: definitely suing this in the process.
- 24:26Speaker 1: All good for her, not I mean good for her. Yeah,
- 24:30Speaker 1: compensate me.
- 24:32Speaker 2: THISBB and I was like, girl, what the fuck? All right?
- 24:36Speaker 1: So while laying in my bed all weekend mm hmm,
- 24:41Speaker 1: I was surfing the internet so fucking much. I was
- 24:44Speaker 1: on social media so much. Between social media and this game.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I don't know if y'all know this game I do'n
- 24:50Speaker 1: download on my phone that I just need to delete.
- 24:52Speaker 1: It's called good Sorts. Good Sort, like you like trying
- 24:57Speaker 1: to make three like anyway the words. No, it's like
- 25:03Speaker 1: it's like not grossy things, but it's just different little items,
- 25:06Speaker 1: little things, and you got to make a roll of three,
- 25:08Speaker 1: like you got to move shit around so you can
- 25:10Speaker 1: get clear them off the board. Basically, So between that,
- 25:14Speaker 1: which is entertainment, right, between that and Instagram, A bitch
- 25:19Speaker 1: never disconnected from her phone all weekend. And then I
- 25:23Speaker 1: saw this one post while I was on the fucking
- 25:27Speaker 1: internet on Instagram heavy. It was saying something about like this,
- 25:31Speaker 1: like this is an addiction, Like, yeah, you may not
- 25:33Speaker 1: have a drug addiction, but social media and these apps
- 25:37Speaker 1: are definitely an addiction. Yeah, So I want to talk
- 25:41Speaker 1: about that today. That today because I really feel like
- 25:44Speaker 1: I might need a digital detox.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, that sound good. Let's get into it after
- 25:50Speaker 2: this commercial. I gotta check my Instagram real quick. We'll
- 25:58Speaker 2: be right back. All right, y'all, we back a digital detox.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I've never even heard of that, but that sounds like
- 26:06Speaker 2: something I really need. Like on my vacation, me and
- 26:09Speaker 2: the person I was with, we both are addicted. So
- 26:13Speaker 2: it was good, you know that we could be sitting
- 26:16Speaker 2: be addicted together, because when one.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Person not, it's a problem.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a problem. But we were both we were
- 26:23Speaker 2: like rubbing feet together on our phones and it.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Was like, yes, I send this shit, y'all, look at this,
- 26:31Speaker 1: Look at this right.
- 26:32Speaker 2: It was perfect.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Can write a bit much, man, And I've been trying
- 26:38Speaker 1: to read books more like read more books. And I
- 26:42Speaker 1: can't even focus to read a book without putting it
- 26:45Speaker 1: down to look on and see what's on Instagram. I
- 26:47Speaker 1: can't watch a TV show without grabbing my phone to
- 26:50Speaker 1: see what the fuck is on Instagram. I can't be
- 26:52Speaker 1: out to dinner without touching my fucking phone. I can't
- 26:55Speaker 1: be on vacation without touching my phone.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Exactly exactly. I will watch to show and it will
- 27:01Speaker 2: take three times the time of the show because I
- 27:05Speaker 2: gotta keep going back, and I miss a part, and
- 27:07Speaker 2: then I rewinded and I missed the same part because
- 27:09Speaker 2: I've been on my phone. It's just addictive. It's so bad.
- 27:13Speaker 2: I like you get on TikTok. I try to stay
- 27:15Speaker 2: the fuck off TikTok, because TikTok, you will find that
- 27:18Speaker 2: hours have gone by and you I'll be up at
- 27:21Speaker 2: four in the morning watching somebody clean and dirty as real?
- 27:24Speaker 2: How did you get this dirty? Like that dirty? So
- 27:29Speaker 2: I could watch them make it clean and I'd be like, Oh,
- 27:33Speaker 2: I can't wait to see what color is gonna be
- 27:35Speaker 2: up under the dirt.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't want this life anymore because there was
- 27:38Speaker 1: at one there was one point in my life I
- 27:41Speaker 1: could just stop, you know, I don't really have an
- 27:45Speaker 1: addictive personality per se, aside from like people in food
- 27:47Speaker 1: and even people, look you science save food, but even people,
- 27:51Speaker 1: I kind of have detachment. Now I can do that
- 27:54Speaker 1: easier but food. But social media is an even bigger
- 28:01Speaker 1: It's hard, you know, because it's your news, it's your friends,
- 28:05Speaker 1: it's your family. It's like it's your money that part too,
- 28:09Speaker 1: And when you disconnect, you feel like you do you're
- 28:11Speaker 1: missing things like people talking about stuff around you. But
- 28:13Speaker 1: I need to know that I can do without this thing.
- 28:17Speaker 1: So that's where I'm at now. So yeah, social media
- 28:19Speaker 1: is the money, Like we need to post and shit
- 28:21Speaker 1: like that for this podcast, right, we don't even do
- 28:24Speaker 1: that that fucking often to be on social media as
- 28:27Speaker 1: much as we be on that bitch. So I feel
- 28:32Speaker 1: like I just I would like to disconnect. I would
- 28:34Speaker 1: like to detox from social media because I know I'm
- 28:38Speaker 1: definitely not being as productive as I could possibly be
- 28:42Speaker 1: if I weren't on social media. From twenty twelve to
- 28:45Speaker 1: twenty sixteen, I was not on social media, and I
- 28:48Speaker 1: feel like I can do that again. Now. I won't
- 28:50Speaker 1: delete the app completely, but I got to get away
- 28:53Speaker 1: from it. Like when Clubhouse first came out, bitch. I
- 28:56Speaker 1: was addicted to Clubhouse for oh. I remember the whole
- 28:58Speaker 1: pandemic up until like always at the club which I
- 29:04Speaker 1: even made a wee talked back clubhouse dot com. Okay,
- 29:07Speaker 1: that's a real thing that still exists this day. Because
- 29:10Speaker 1: I just thought it was I thought it was amazing, right,
- 29:13Speaker 1: and I thought it was gonna be way bigger. But
- 29:14Speaker 1: then they kind of changed the platform, and sometime last
- 29:17Speaker 1: year I was like, I'm good with Clubhouse. I got
- 29:19Speaker 1: I got tired of hearing all those voices, Like that's
- 29:22Speaker 1: like it's like schizophrenia at some point, like all these
- 29:25Speaker 1: fucking I'm going to sleep listening to all these fucking.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Voices people talking.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I got tired of them niggas. But I want to disconnect.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I only use Instagram mostly. I might do Twitter occasionally TikTok.
- 29:40Speaker 1: I really go on TikTok to find like if something's
- 29:45Speaker 1: like trending on TikTok, I'll go over there to see
- 29:46Speaker 1: what's up with it. But I'm just not sitting on TikTok.
- 29:50Speaker 1: It's Instagram.
- 29:51Speaker 2: I would know Instagram have me in the chokehold, and
- 29:54Speaker 2: then TikTok I'll find myself go down a rabbit hole
- 29:57Speaker 2: on TikTok as well, but I don't get on there
- 29:59Speaker 2: as much as Instagram. I still on Instagram all day long, so.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I wanna you know how to get to here.
- 30:06Speaker 2: And don't let me post a pig you like me
- 30:13Speaker 2: like you like, yeah, it's just crazy, it is.
- 30:18Speaker 1: And then when things are going on, like the ship
- 30:20Speaker 1: with Trump, you can't disconnect. I need to know. I
- 30:23Speaker 1: need to be I need to know what happened next,
- 30:25Speaker 1: Like I need to know what who said what, like
- 30:28Speaker 1: right now. And it's exhausting. I have anxiety because of
- 30:31Speaker 1: that shit. Absolutely, I be like really feeling down at
- 30:36Speaker 1: the end of the day because you see some fucked
- 30:38Speaker 1: up ship, then you see some happy shit and some
- 30:39Speaker 1: fucked up shit. There's some happy shit, then a little
- 30:41Speaker 1: cute little kid and a cute little dog, and there's
- 30:43Speaker 1: some new fucked up shit. Like this black dude on
- 30:46Speaker 1: trial right now for a murder he couldn't he didn't commit.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Do you see that? So it's this black guy who's
- 30:52Speaker 1: on trial for the murder of a white woman. He
- 30:54Speaker 1: was in the neighborhood robin right breaking in people ship,
- 30:58Speaker 1: but he didn't kill this man, and they know he
- 31:01Speaker 1: didn't kill him, yet he's on trial for because the
- 31:04Speaker 1: boyfriend essentially admitted to it. It's a it's a guy,
- 31:10Speaker 1: a black guy, and he killed he killed a woman.
- 31:15Speaker 1: He killed a woman. Uh, Samantha wool w O l L.
- 31:21Speaker 1: This is in Detroit. So this guy is on trial
- 31:25Speaker 1: for and she's a Detroit synagogue leader. I didn't even
- 31:29Speaker 1: read that part. But he's on trial for her murder
- 31:35Speaker 1: because they found her body on the sidewalk. He found
- 31:37Speaker 1: her body on the sidewalk. But the boyfriend actually admitted
- 31:40Speaker 1: to killing this girl, then recanted. They let him go,
- 31:45Speaker 1: but y'all are charging and have the black man on trial.
- 31:50Speaker 1: When he was just rounding there, breaking in cars, he
- 31:52Speaker 1: was like, yeah, I never denied being a being there,
- 31:54Speaker 1: but I did not murder. He's on the stand. So
- 31:58Speaker 1: you see things like that, then then you see something funny,
- 32:01Speaker 1: and then and it's just your roller coaster of emotions
- 32:04Speaker 1: all day long, and it's like it's it's reprogram programming
- 32:08Speaker 1: your body at this point, it's reprogramming your mind. Like
- 32:11Speaker 1: we just not the same anymore. And I just need
- 32:14Speaker 1: to I need to, I gotta get out the cycle.
- 32:18Speaker 2: I went out.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I went out.
- 32:21Speaker 2: I'm tired. I really went out too.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I'm like disgusted with myself at this point, Like I
- 32:28Speaker 1: want to do I want to read more, bitch, I
- 32:30Speaker 1: want to lose a couple of pounds. There's a lot
- 32:31Speaker 1: of other things I want to do other than being
- 32:33Speaker 1: on fucking Instagram, and I'm stuck on that, bitch.
- 32:37Speaker 2: So how do we get out? All right? First, let's
- 32:39Speaker 2: see how many hours a day? How do you told
- 32:41Speaker 2: me I can see how much time I spend on
- 32:42Speaker 2: social media?
- 32:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so go to settings and then screen time.
- 32:47Speaker 2: This is for your iPhone.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Yeah it's not.
- 32:50Speaker 2: And now it's probably some young bitches like, hey, you
- 32:52Speaker 2: don't know how to do that, Auntie. No I don't.
- 32:56Speaker 1: And look this, Auntie actually even has a two hour
- 32:59Speaker 1: timer on for Instagram. So I'm only a lot in
- 33:02Speaker 1: myself to do two hours. And I have had this
- 33:05Speaker 1: time on for a whole year, but every day I
- 33:07Speaker 1: hit fifteen minutes, fifteen minutes, fifteen minutes, and then when
- 33:11Speaker 1: I finally get real with myself, I just turned the
- 33:13Speaker 1: timer off for the day, Like, bitch, you're gonna keep
- 33:17Speaker 1: going back on here.
- 33:18Speaker 2: So my daily average is five hours and twelve minutes.
- 33:22Speaker 1: That's so if you click on see all app and
- 33:25Speaker 1: website activity underneath that, you see that, so you can
- 33:30Speaker 1: click there and then see what it is for the
- 33:32Speaker 1: app in particular. So I'm on Trading View, which is
- 33:36Speaker 1: the software I use to look at my daily charts.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I'm on air three hours a day. That's cool, that's
- 33:43Speaker 1: money making. Instagram, I have an average of six hours
- 33:49Speaker 1: a day.
- 33:50Speaker 2: My should say six hours and thirty eight minutes. And
- 33:54Speaker 2: you know, so now your app Instagram is oh no,
- 33:57Speaker 2: and the four hours of Instagram.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Right, and I have two hours entertainment and that's this
- 34:03Speaker 1: fucking game. And then I also like, you know, YouTube,
- 34:05Speaker 1: I play stuff on YouTube or listening to music and
- 34:08Speaker 1: stuff like that.
- 34:10Speaker 2: And it says one hour and twenty one minutes of
- 34:13Speaker 2: creativity and then fifty seven minutes of travel because I'll
- 34:18Speaker 2: be looking at them flights Bible. That's too long, though,
- 34:25Speaker 2: four hours it's too much and for what for nothing?
- 34:31Speaker 1: What did I get?
- 34:31Speaker 2: That's four hours wasted?
- 34:33Speaker 1: Yep? I got five hours for productivity and finance. I'm
- 34:37Speaker 1: okay with that.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good number.
- 34:40Speaker 1: But these other like entertainment and social like that. Shit
- 34:43Speaker 1: got to come down so I gotta keep that two hour,
- 34:48Speaker 1: Like the two hour I have set should be like
- 34:50Speaker 1: a reward. So not only do I have everything else
- 34:54Speaker 1: done right, So I shouldn't have two hours for the
- 34:56Speaker 1: whole day. I should do a two hour for a
- 34:59Speaker 1: setting a certain period, like a block, a certain block
- 35:03Speaker 1: in my day. So let's say you know, right before
- 35:07Speaker 1: bed or something. No, you don't even want to look
- 35:09Speaker 1: at your phone before bed for real, So I would
- 35:11Speaker 1: say like five to six o'clock social media, five to seven,
- 35:15Speaker 1: I can do social media. But also you got to
- 35:17Speaker 1: consider you know, your program is open in the background,
- 35:20Speaker 1: so I don't think that they kind of you got
- 35:22Speaker 1: to close the app oup to completely so it doesn't
- 35:24Speaker 1: count towards your average because if the app is still
- 35:27Speaker 1: open in the background, it's probably still calculating in so
- 35:33Speaker 1: we get a little I'll take a little hour off
- 35:34Speaker 1: of that because I know I still be on that
- 35:37Speaker 1: bitch too much. I just want to disconnect. So I
- 35:42Speaker 1: started doing some research. I'm started trying to figure out
- 35:44Speaker 1: cause we already know that social media fucks with your
- 35:46Speaker 1: mental health, Okay, especially the children. So you have parents
- 35:50Speaker 1: that are now sewing apps like Instagram and TikTok, you know,
- 35:54Speaker 1: because their children are are different now since having access
- 35:58Speaker 1: to these platforms. So ways to try and disconnect or
- 36:04Speaker 1: detox per se? So I found an article on Good
- 36:09Speaker 1: Housekeeping dot com mm hm, and they have a list
- 36:14Speaker 1: of things you can do. It says, here, here's how
- 36:17Speaker 1: to do a social media detox the right way. Ready
- 36:22Speaker 1: to take a break from social media? We're here to help.
- 36:26Speaker 1: There's no denying that social media has become a huge
- 36:29Speaker 1: part of modern life. Apps like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- 36:33Speaker 1: help us stay connected with loved ones, catch up on news,
- 36:36Speaker 1: and discover both beautiful destinations and inspiring people. Yet you
- 36:41Speaker 1: may find that spending hours on end strolling, scrolling, sorry,
- 36:46Speaker 1: through various feeds can leave you feeling anxious that's me, drained,
- 36:50Speaker 1: that's me, and dissatisfied. That's me. Okay. So how do
- 36:54Speaker 1: you know if you're in need of a social media detox?
- 36:58Speaker 1: It says, reflect on your head and evaluate how social
- 37:02Speaker 1: media makes you feel and how it impacts your life,
- 37:05Speaker 1: says Catherine Price, author of How to Break Up with
- 37:08Speaker 1: Your Phone and founder of screen Slash Life Balance. Is
- 37:13Speaker 1: it negatively impacting your mental health? Your mental health? How
- 37:17Speaker 1: about your productivity and creativity is it taking time away
- 37:21Speaker 1: from activities that make you happy? I won't say Instagram, Well,
- 37:24Speaker 1: it doesn't completely make me unhappy. I have a lot
- 37:27Speaker 1: of puppies I look at on there, a lot of
- 37:29Speaker 1: birds and cats. My favorite Instagram page is Black People Pets.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I love that fucking page. They get most of my engagement.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Like that is the type of shit that makes me happy.
- 37:42Speaker 1: So it's not all bad but there, and I think
- 37:45Speaker 1: I have a pretty healthy algorithm. Also because I unfollowed
- 37:49Speaker 1: like the Shade Room and ball Alert and all that
- 37:51Speaker 1: shit at least two years ago, but they still throw
- 37:54Speaker 1: both shit.
- 37:54Speaker 2: I still love Shade Room, but baller Alert I had
- 37:57Speaker 2: to get rid of.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Yeah, they still throw bullshit into your algorithm though, so
- 38:03Speaker 1: oh no I do. That's the only blog I do follow.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I even unfollowed was it bossip? I unfollowed Bossup, but
- 38:13Speaker 1: I do still follow Gossip in the City. It's just
- 38:17Speaker 1: probably because I like the girl that runs that page,
- 38:20Speaker 1: Like I like fee. Sometimes she'd be on some bullshit,
- 38:22Speaker 1: but yeah, and her news is real, like just just
- 38:28Speaker 1: hilarious to be saying like she A lot of the
- 38:30Speaker 1: blogs be getting this ship from her, like she'd be
- 38:32Speaker 1: down a reporter and some report on something way before
- 38:34Speaker 1: everybody else. How does she know everything so fast because
- 38:39Speaker 1: people be sending it they want to check. She'd be
- 38:41Speaker 1: paying people for information, right, yeah, so yeah, people be
- 38:46Speaker 1: sending her ship and sometimes she she will post stuff
- 38:48Speaker 1: and be like if y'all.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Care, if y'all care, you know?
- 38:55Speaker 1: So, I'm not mad at it, and I don't want
- 38:57Speaker 1: to know other people business. That fucking bad, But because
- 38:59Speaker 1: of the business we're in, we need to know a
- 39:01Speaker 1: little bit.
- 39:02Speaker 2: It'd be like Patreon and stuff like where you can
- 39:05Speaker 2: pay for people exclusive business. I don't never want to
- 39:09Speaker 2: know that band.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Could you imagine y'all that fucking nosy y'all paying a
- 39:13Speaker 1: subscription to know who baby daddy got a baby on
- 39:17Speaker 1: the way on Christmas Eve? Are you dumb?
- 39:20Speaker 2: Yeah? That's crazy.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I'm good. That is weird as hell to me. Yeah, yeah,
- 39:25Speaker 1: I definitely know real.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Board, Like, I don't want to know, but I ain't
- 39:29Speaker 2: gonna pay to know.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Guy, right, I ain't that goddamn nosy? You tripping?
- 39:34Speaker 2: We can get it for free. I find out when
- 39:37Speaker 2: it hit the.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Exactly it says. It's important to note that there's nothing
- 39:44Speaker 1: inherently wrong with spending time on social media. According to Price,
- 39:47Speaker 1: the important thing is to use it with purpose and intention.
- 39:51Speaker 1: She says, if upon reflection, you are able to identify
- 39:54Speaker 1: any negative effects that the apps have had in your life,
- 39:57Speaker 1: then it's time for a social media break needed game plan.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Try out these twelve expert approved ideas that will help
- 40:04Speaker 1: you disconnect a little and have a happier, healthier relationship
- 40:08Speaker 1: with social media from now on. I feel like I
- 40:12Speaker 1: want to make a lot of money. I want to
- 40:14Speaker 1: make a lot of money, and if social media is
- 40:16Speaker 1: one of the things I want to, uh, that's gonna
- 40:18Speaker 1: help me make a lot of money, It then has
- 40:20Speaker 1: a real purpose. Right now, it's just straight entertainment, right
- 40:24Speaker 1: the majority of the time I'm spending on there, it's
- 40:26Speaker 1: just entertainment.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so the first us for our show, but
- 40:32Speaker 2: not as efficient as.
- 40:33Speaker 1: We could right So, I think once we beef up
- 40:35Speaker 1: on that, I'm gonna be sick of social media Like this,
- 40:40Speaker 1: This is just the tool by which I always pep
- 40:43Speaker 1: into the podcast.
- 40:45Speaker 2: I always be saying like, oh, I just don't want
- 40:47Speaker 2: to be a slave to it. But it seems like
- 40:49Speaker 2: I already am. Yeah, might as well, monetize my slavery.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Right period to monetize slavery interesting, But you just gotta
- 41:00Speaker 1: be real with yourself and you got to recognize where
- 41:02Speaker 1: there's a problem, and you gotta want to change Today
- 41:07Speaker 1: July fifteenth, twenty twenty, twenty twenty four, I would like
- 41:11Speaker 1: to change. Okay. So the first step on uh or
- 41:15Speaker 1: one is one of the first suggestions on this Good
- 41:18Speaker 1: Housekeeping dot com. It says delete your social media apps.
- 41:26Speaker 2: It's so hard, though I've tried.
- 41:29Speaker 1: I've done it. I used to be on Facebook heavy
- 41:33Speaker 1: and then I just wasn't knew better things came about.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Like I think each app has different kind of people
- 41:39Speaker 1: that use them, like Facebook people, Instagram people, Twitter people,
- 41:43Speaker 1: TikTok people. I'm an Instagram person.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Who I definitely an Instagram girl. With Facebook, I don't
- 41:52Speaker 2: I don't be knowing how to use it. I know
- 41:54Speaker 2: how to watch other people shit, and I can share
- 41:56Speaker 2: other people shit really good. But when it's time to
- 41:58Speaker 2: like really create my own shit, I'll be turning into
- 42:02Speaker 2: Auntie mode real quick like.
- 42:03Speaker 1: But because it's too much, it's just it's not just
- 42:08Speaker 1: the things to create for Instagram is outside of Instagram,
- 42:13Speaker 1: you're just posting the content there. But to create the
- 42:16Speaker 1: content for Instagram, I mean, you gotta use other apps,
- 42:20Speaker 1: you gotta do other shit, you gotta edit all types
- 42:23Speaker 1: of stuff. Like it's just a big it's a big
- 42:25Speaker 1: thing to be a content creator. It really is the
- 42:29Speaker 1: whole time. And Anguela Nyla was like, come on, we're
- 42:32Speaker 1: gonna do this content. She was giving me all these ports.
- 42:33Speaker 1: She was like, yeah, you gotta what she said, you
- 42:35Speaker 1: gotta romanticize your life and all this stuff. Like I'm
- 42:40Speaker 1: too much of a real nigga for any of this.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Like it is what it is, Like I get frustrating
- 42:46Speaker 2: it and I quit the real It's one hundred thousand
- 42:50Speaker 2: half created reels saved.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Like the voiceover ones and all that. I don't know.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Maybe I'll get into it and then it'll make more
- 43:02Speaker 1: sense for me to be on social media if I
- 43:04Speaker 1: had a million followers and making money monetize on social media.
- 43:09Speaker 1: But if you don't, it really doesn't make any sense.
- 43:11Speaker 1: I'm not a consumer in that way, So why am
- 43:13Speaker 1: I letting Instagram consume me and the people who are
- 43:17Speaker 1: monetized on social media consume me by likes and clicks
- 43:20Speaker 1: and all of shit.
- 43:22Speaker 2: But them LIFs be feeling good though it is like
- 43:25Speaker 2: a little do the dopamine it really is.
- 43:30Speaker 1: It's instant grams of dopamine. All you like that, That's
- 43:35Speaker 1: what it is. Instant grams of dopamine. When you think
- 43:40Speaker 1: about it that way, that shit is very sinister. So
- 43:44Speaker 1: it says, delete your abs and in with now. Before
- 43:47Speaker 1: you insist that you can't quit cold turkey, rest assured
- 43:50Speaker 1: that this is a temporary measure. Take social media off
- 43:53Speaker 1: your phone for twelve hours and remind yourself that you
- 43:57Speaker 1: can easily reinstall, it, says Price. It's at it's about experimenting.
- 44:01Speaker 1: See what effects not being on social media has and
- 44:05Speaker 1: what thoughts it provokes. Once experiment is over, the idea
- 44:09Speaker 1: of limiting yourself will feel so much more doable. So
- 44:14Speaker 1: she's not saying, like, just delete indefinitely, but at least like,
- 44:19Speaker 1: just take a break. So that two hour thing it
- 44:21Speaker 1: locks it, but you can unlock it. You can tap
- 44:25Speaker 1: back on that, bitch and change the timer.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Nobody has to take my motherfucking phone from me, right,
- 44:31Speaker 2: you don't give it back to me. If I asked,
- 44:33Speaker 2: like I wonder could we like create a social media
- 44:36Speaker 2: anonymous group, you know kind of like inna, but.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Like that's the next one. That's the next one that
- 44:44Speaker 1: says detox with a buddy.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Yeah, see, yeah, I need a sponsor. Somebody want to
- 44:49Speaker 2: co sponsor.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Me' Not a goddamn sponsor, girl, It's a damn accountability partner. Basically,
- 44:56Speaker 1: that's the thing.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Ain't that what a sponsor is?
- 45:00Speaker 1: All? You want? Somebody give me some money to not
- 45:01Speaker 1: be on social media?
- 45:03Speaker 2: The hell?
- 45:05Speaker 1: So number two is, you know, get a detox buddy.
- 45:08Speaker 1: So me and you, bitch, what are we doing? Can
- 45:12Speaker 1: we wait till oh after your birthday?
- 45:17Speaker 2: Like this is the August or song, like.
- 45:20Speaker 1: We wait to the new year?
- 45:22Speaker 2: Right, I'm wait to the first January.
- 45:27Speaker 1: All the damage done did, but done by then. Whether
- 45:34Speaker 1: your objective is to get fit, lose weight, or spend
- 45:38Speaker 1: less time on social media, having someone to hold you
- 45:41Speaker 1: accountable can make all the difference. Find a loved one
- 45:44Speaker 1: who is interested in detoxing with you, and then discuss
- 45:47Speaker 1: how both of you plan on following through. Let's say
- 45:50Speaker 1: you intend on leaving your phone at home while you
- 45:52Speaker 1: run errands one week. Once a week is over, check
- 45:55Speaker 1: in with your buddy and let them know how you
- 45:58Speaker 1: did says Nancy Colon, a psycho therapist and author.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Of the Power of Off.
- 46:06Speaker 1: You're more likely to stick to your goals or, on
- 46:09Speaker 1: the flip side, feel less discouraged when you fall short
- 46:13Speaker 1: when you have a friend to lean on.
- 46:16Speaker 2: So, just like anybody else, I'm supposed to leave my house.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Yeah they tripping. I'm not leaving the house without my
- 46:21Speaker 1: fucking phone.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Dog. But listen, you can have a phone just in
- 46:25Speaker 2: case for emergencies, like you don't need social media from emergencies, Like,
- 46:29Speaker 2: don't let y'all. I ain't. But we used to live
- 46:31Speaker 2: without a phone, just finding we were very young.
- 46:34Speaker 1: We ain't have no fucking business about ourselves back then
- 46:36Speaker 1: when phones didn't exist.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Okay, humanity, I ain't talk about us. First people were like,
- 46:44Speaker 2: here my number in the dime, call me any time.
- 46:46Speaker 2: It was a song because they couldn't. They didn't have
- 46:48Speaker 2: phones and didn't nobody die.
- 46:50Speaker 1: So last year, Kendrick Lamar actually came out with a phone,
- 46:53Speaker 1: and I was so disappointed when I found out about
- 46:55Speaker 1: it because it's like limited edition. I didn't get one.
- 46:58Speaker 1: It was like the light phone. It is just calling.
- 47:03Speaker 1: It's nothing like can nobody call you back? It's no
- 47:07Speaker 1: social media. The light phone.
- 47:11Speaker 2: It ain't that they have those for kids though, right
- 47:13Speaker 2: where you can lock in only three phone numbers or
- 47:16Speaker 2: something like that.
- 47:16Speaker 1: I want one, yeah, I would like one of them.
- 47:21Speaker 1: That should probably last for five or six days without
- 47:24Speaker 1: charging with all these apps draining your damn battery.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Right, because you ain't doing what you call your mom.
- 47:32Speaker 1: It says you can call text set an alarm and
- 47:35Speaker 1: use it as a hotspot, but there are no add
- 47:38Speaker 1: on tools that include a music player, no to calculate
- 47:41Speaker 1: the directions and more so. And it was two hundred
- 47:44Speaker 1: and ninety nine dollars. I want one and I can
- 47:49Speaker 1: and I could take.
- 47:50Speaker 2: That in the streets with me, Yeah, most certainly. And
- 47:56Speaker 2: you put it in your glove box like how you
- 47:59Speaker 2: used to do, you know, back in the day when
- 48:01Speaker 2: cell phones first came out, because they didn't have all
- 48:03Speaker 2: these you know, absent things on it. You take it
- 48:06Speaker 2: and just leave it in the glove compartment. Yeah.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Like people talk about the marketed beast, right, and they
- 48:11Speaker 1: literally think that somebody's gonna come and, you know, implant
- 48:14Speaker 1: some shit in them. Like this is literally the cell
- 48:16Speaker 1: phone is the marketed beast. They are literally tracking every
- 48:20Speaker 1: single thing we do on this handheld device.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Bro, This shit is scary because think about it, You'd
- 48:26Speaker 2: be like, man, I want to I want some fish,
- 48:30Speaker 2: all right, You'll just say something like that, and then
- 48:32Speaker 2: now all fish restaurants just popping up with as on
- 48:34Speaker 2: your phone. Right, It'd be crazy like that, And like,
- 48:38Speaker 2: are they listening to me? Like it's Siri listening to
- 48:41Speaker 2: me and sending my what I'm saying to like companies.
- 48:44Speaker 2: How does that work?
- 48:45Speaker 1: But what about the times where your phone isn't even
- 48:48Speaker 1: around and you say that and then now it's on
- 48:50Speaker 1: the phone. So is it? Are they tapping into our minds?
- 48:53Speaker 1: Cause I heard that Apple like the new headphones, they
- 48:58Speaker 1: have some type of pattern. This ship is tapping into
- 49:01Speaker 1: your neurological system someway like they are reading our minds
- 49:07Speaker 1: like we are using telekinesis with the damn cell phone.
- 49:14Speaker 2: Was play with me? But it is. I remember my
- 49:20Speaker 2: old nigga used to come over. He used to be like,
- 49:23Speaker 2: unplugged Alexa, unplugged that bitch.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like that shit on my mom My
- 49:27Speaker 1: sister bought my mom and Alexa and like the roomba
- 49:30Speaker 1: because they come together so you can program Alexa to
- 49:33Speaker 1: tell the room of the vacuum your house. I'm like, Mama,
- 49:35Speaker 1: you literally got a speaker and microphone in your house,
- 49:39Speaker 1: and you got this vacuum cleaner walking around your shit
- 49:42Speaker 1: taking pictures. And when you think about it in that
- 49:45Speaker 1: way like this, you sat in yourself up. She unplugged
- 49:47Speaker 1: that shit. I mean, it got to have a camera
- 49:51Speaker 1: in it for to figure out the layout of your home,
- 49:56Speaker 1: to know where to go at How is it working?
- 50:00Speaker 2: I thought I was just bumping turn around, I can't
- 50:05Speaker 2: go that way.
- 50:08Speaker 1: But imagine that they programmed it to do that. So
- 50:10Speaker 1: you went and think there's a fucking camera in there
- 50:13Speaker 1: just looking at your damn house.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Right the hell.
- 50:17Speaker 1: I think the same thing about putting those chips and
- 50:19Speaker 1: dogs and stuff like that, it's just them tracking your house.
- 50:25Speaker 2: I don't like putting a chip in. Don't chip me,
- 50:28Speaker 2: don't chip my animal. That's yeah.
- 50:30Speaker 1: I never even got my dog's spade neither, none of them,
- 50:34Speaker 1: None of them, that's me. Yeah, you're taking away the
- 50:36Speaker 1: reproductive system, Like god damn, y'all bitch love fucking way females.
- 50:44Speaker 1: All right, So number three says, identify what apps you're
- 50:47Speaker 1: using most so We just did that. Download an app
- 50:50Speaker 1: like Moment, available on iOS and Android that helps you
- 50:53Speaker 1: break down how much time you're spending on your apps
- 50:56Speaker 1: if your iPhone. If your iPhone user, you're likely already
- 50:59Speaker 1: familiar with your devices built in feature called screen time.
- 51:02Speaker 1: We did that instead of looking at your daily average,
- 51:06Speaker 1: which factors in email and other work related phone usage,
- 51:10Speaker 1: check out the check out your list of most used
- 51:13Speaker 1: apps and see how much time you're devoted. You're you're
- 51:18Speaker 1: devoting to specific social media apps. So we just did that. So,
- 51:24Speaker 1: I mean, Instagram is my biggest op. Okay, it's my
- 51:31Speaker 1: biggest op. I don't like that.
- 51:33Speaker 2: That's my birthday. I vow to take the only time
- 51:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna come on social media is to post for
- 51:40Speaker 2: we talk back once a day, which is more than
- 51:43Speaker 2: I ever did in my lin.
- 51:44Speaker 1: We got personal platforms too, so we just it just
- 51:47Speaker 1: has to make business sense everything right now, it's not
- 51:51Speaker 1: making business sense for a bitch to be on the
- 51:53Speaker 1: internet all day.
- 51:55Speaker 2: But remember like during COVID where everything shut down, how
- 51:58Speaker 2: good that felt for a little while, Like.
- 52:00Speaker 1: It just because it was okay to be a bum.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Oh that's so good. I didn't have to setting on
- 52:08Speaker 2: alarm clock. I was outside ride. I went and bought
- 52:10Speaker 2: a bike. I was outside riding that bitch, just whimsical
- 52:14Speaker 2: and carefree. I was frolicking in the park like it
- 52:17Speaker 2: was just. I was doing shit that I would have
- 52:19Speaker 2: never done had the world not shut down the way
- 52:21Speaker 2: it did. So maybe I don't have that same experience
- 52:24Speaker 2: with leaving social media.
- 52:26Speaker 1: Yeah I haven't rode bike in a year and a half.
- 52:29Speaker 1: It seems like no, I didn't ride bike. No, yeah,
- 52:33Speaker 1: probably a year in a year, not a year and
- 52:34Speaker 1: a half, at least a year since like last year
- 52:37Speaker 1: in June.
- 52:38Speaker 2: Maybe I haven't rode an outdoor bike. I rode like
- 52:41Speaker 2: hella indoor bike, but outside I didn't rod my bike
- 52:45Speaker 2: back on the street man downtown Charlotte wasn't nobody riding.
- 52:49Speaker 2: I was riding my bike down to you know, downtown.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Like now, you can't do that around and killed. So
- 52:55Speaker 2: I don't. I don't want to go outside with no bike,
- 52:58Speaker 2: no more an indoor bike. But it was nice.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Mm hm. So number four is talk to your friends
- 53:04Speaker 1: and family. That's what we're doing right now.
- 53:07Speaker 2: In some ways.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Right in some ways, the people closest to you know
- 53:11Speaker 1: you better than you know yourself, ask your loved ones
- 53:13Speaker 1: what you've noticed about your relationship with your phone. You
- 53:16Speaker 1: may discover yourself unwittingly uh picked. You may discover you've
- 53:22Speaker 1: unwittingly picked up some bad tendencies, like checking your phone
- 53:26Speaker 1: mid conversation or texting at dinner table. My mama would say,
- 53:29Speaker 1: that's what the fuck I do all the time, it says.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Many adults have told me that hearing what their kids
- 53:34Speaker 1: have to say about their phone habits is a real
- 53:37Speaker 1: eye opening and it's real eye opening and motivational moment,
- 53:41Speaker 1: says Price. I was just at my mama house Rapefy
- 53:45Speaker 1: went on vacation, and she was talking about what was
- 53:49Speaker 1: she talking about? Look, I can't even remember what the
- 53:50Speaker 1: fuck she was talking about, because after she finished talking
- 53:53Speaker 1: about it, I asked her about the things she was
- 53:55Speaker 1: just talking about, but I wasn't paying attention because I
- 53:58Speaker 1: was on my fucking phone at the same time.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 54:02Speaker 1: She was like, I just told you, so I'm like,
- 54:05Speaker 1: oh that shit. You do feel like shit because you
- 54:08Speaker 1: just really tune people out. Yeah, and then excuse like
- 54:14Speaker 1: I gotta do this for work, lying, bitch, I'm sorry.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Let me just send this email and you're really watching
- 54:22Speaker 2: somebody clean the rug.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Dirty ass house. How about those bitches with those fealthy
- 54:28Speaker 1: ass houses who just clean them up?
- 54:32Speaker 2: Forget? But sometimes I feel like I like, I do
- 54:34Speaker 2: follow one lady who was like going through a depression
- 54:37Speaker 2: and she was cleaning house. But at this point, why
- 54:41Speaker 2: I keep looking like that? I just feel like, at
- 54:43Speaker 2: this point, you're just dirty in the house to create
- 54:45Speaker 2: more content, Yes, because you're not. Really, you ain't got
- 54:49Speaker 2: that much house. You've been cleaning this same house for
- 54:52Speaker 2: a year and a half now and the shit be
- 54:54Speaker 2: a fucking mess every time.
- 54:56Speaker 3: No.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I was feeling you the first when you was
- 54:58Speaker 2: just getting it together, but now I just feel like
- 55:00Speaker 2: you're just trying to create content and it's gross.
- 55:02Speaker 1: And that's how I look the whole time watching it,
- 55:05Speaker 1: just a make ball Nike check lip, like nasty ass bitch,
- 55:11Speaker 1: and then you be fucking in there. You'd be having
- 55:14Speaker 1: sex in that dirty ass house.
- 55:16Speaker 2: But listen, I don't listen. I try not to judge
- 55:19Speaker 2: because sometimes like people might be going through a rough
- 55:23Speaker 2: patch and they look up and a dirty patch in
- 55:29Speaker 2: dis array an difference, right and being messy and dirty,
- 55:32Speaker 2: you know, But what if you're depressed. Like what if
- 55:35Speaker 2: somebody's depressed, they'll let some shit get out of contract.
- 55:37Speaker 1: I guess I ain't never been depressed. And I thought
- 55:39Speaker 1: I've been depressed before, But I guess.
- 55:42Speaker 2: Depression is different. Maybe you have depression manifesting a different way,
- 55:46Speaker 2: Like it's different for everybody.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Like especially if you got kids, like you got rug
- 55:49Speaker 1: grass running around to you gotta be you gotta deal
- 55:52Speaker 1: with everybody's stomach, what you're going, what they eating, and
- 55:54Speaker 1: all this stuff, being considerate of other.
- 55:57Speaker 2: People, like yeah, and then you might just have like
- 56:00Speaker 2: a big full case of fuck it, you know, like
- 56:02Speaker 2: fucking kids.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Tear it up.
- 56:05Speaker 2: I don't care. I ain't never been I ain't got
- 56:08Speaker 2: no kids to do that far. But I'm just sure
- 56:10Speaker 2: there's some women who've had a time where they'll be like,
- 56:13Speaker 2: you know what, tell that shit up. I don't even
- 56:15Speaker 2: care right now, I just my mind. I need I
- 56:17Speaker 2: don't have the bandwidth. And then they look up in
- 56:19Speaker 2: their house look crazy, you know. Yeah.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Right before we got on, I was talking to one
- 56:24Speaker 1: of my best friends and her she has five kids,
- 56:27Speaker 1: and I was like, man, I'm gonna come pick her
- 56:29Speaker 1: little it's the fourth little girl. I said, I'm gonna
- 56:32Speaker 1: come pick my friend up tomorrow just to give her
- 56:34Speaker 1: a little break. But I kind of feel bad, not
- 56:36Speaker 1: because she has like two small ones, and then the
- 56:39Speaker 1: other ones are like teenage, you know, kind of like
- 56:43Speaker 1: fifth grade up right, And then she has these two
- 56:46Speaker 1: babies boring back to back, and I feel bad not
- 56:49Speaker 1: getting both of them. But I don't have the mental
- 56:52Speaker 1: capacity for two fucking kids. But I'm gonna pick the
- 56:56Speaker 1: one little one up.
- 56:58Speaker 2: You don't get one. Keen is crazy.
- 57:02Speaker 1: I think she's a little cancer to her birthday on Thursday. Oh,
- 57:07Speaker 1: she's so sweet and her voice tell like a grown lady.
- 57:11Speaker 1: She should be turn to like five. Her voice sound
- 57:13Speaker 1: like an adult voice when she's speaking, Like why a
- 57:16Speaker 1: voice that deep?
- 57:18Speaker 2: You ain't got for die like that?
- 57:21Speaker 1: Yes, yes, it's like little Stevie. You can't afford for
- 57:25Speaker 1: the doll. You can't afford for the Dillarist, Give me
- 57:29Speaker 1: fit the Dillist. That little girl is funny as hell.
- 57:31Speaker 1: I was watching her own live the other day. Look,
- 57:34Speaker 1: I'm in the bed two o'clock and like two o'clock
- 57:36Speaker 1: in the morning watching alive was her and two of
- 57:39Speaker 1: her little homegirls. They so cute, life so cute, and
- 57:44Speaker 1: Tommy hopped on Live with them, Tommy from Real from.
- 57:48Speaker 2: Tommy like Timmy Lee.
- 57:50Speaker 1: Yes, Tommy Lee hopped on with them.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Oh she was sweet.
- 57:54Speaker 1: They was like, oh my god, it's Tommy. They all
- 57:56Speaker 1: running to their mama. Mama. Look look, why did.
- 57:59Speaker 2: They know who's Tommy?
- 58:01Speaker 1: They obviously be watching a reality TV show? Yeah, so
- 58:07Speaker 1: Tommy and eight because little Stevie was doing her makeup. No,
- 58:10Speaker 1: she wasn't doing makeup, she was doing skincare. Child and
- 58:13Speaker 1: her hair and baby kept them moving the whole time
- 58:16Speaker 1: while she was on Live like a grown ass adult. Okay,
- 58:19Speaker 1: I love them kids, man, but scare me another hour
- 58:24Speaker 1: and a half wasted watching a little child Tommy.
- 58:31Speaker 2: All right.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Number five it says put a rubber band around your phone.
- 58:35Speaker 1: I don't know what that's about, so it says it's simple.
- 58:38Speaker 1: This simple trick can help you stop mindlessly picking up
- 58:42Speaker 1: your phone. When you reach for your phone, there is
- 58:45Speaker 1: now a physical obstacle that snaps you out of autopilot
- 58:51Speaker 1: for a second and encourage you. Encourages you to reflect
- 58:54Speaker 1: on what you're doing. What what am I? What are
- 58:59Speaker 1: rubber band like?
- 59:03Speaker 2: I guess if you got the screen cover you can't
- 59:06Speaker 2: easily maneuver.
- 59:08Speaker 1: I guess I don't get it. I don't like that one.
- 59:11Speaker 2: That one's stupid.
- 59:12Speaker 1: I could see if like the rubber band like is
- 59:17Speaker 1: attached to something, and when I go to lift my
- 59:19Speaker 1: phone up it like or something.
- 59:21Speaker 2: Right, I had to wrap that bitch with about twenty
- 59:24Speaker 2: rower bands. So I can't get to a lockdabby because
- 59:27Speaker 2: that's the only way, is the word for.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Me, it says. Number six says, redesign your lock screen.
- 59:33Speaker 1: So Price created a lock screen that prompts you to
- 59:36Speaker 1: ask yourself three questions, what for, why?
- 59:40Speaker 2: Now?
- 59:40Speaker 1: What else? The questions remind you to question whether or
- 59:43Speaker 1: not you picked up your phone with purpose. Sometimes it's
- 59:47Speaker 1: a tick, and sometimes you pick it up because you're
- 59:50Speaker 1: feeling lonely or bored. The point of that exercise isn't
- 59:54Speaker 1: to beat yourself up for checking your phone, but to
- 59:56Speaker 1: understand your habit. Understand your own habits, she says. Create
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: your own lock screen with similar questions, or download one
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: free through Price's website Selling shit anyway, lock screen, I
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: don't know. While I was reading that, I just thought
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: about a fucking video I saw.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Listen, I've actually done that before. But not for social media.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: I did it for dieting, like I had on my
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: lock screen, like you're craving this right now. You wanted
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: the body you want for your whole life. Don't eat
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: that shit. I had that on my lock screen and
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: it slowed down my door to ass she really did.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Hold on, But did you see this video on Instagram? No? No,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: hold on. We should have talked about this in stupid
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: editor news. So the girl was like, listen now. She
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: said she borrowed some money from her boyfriend. And she
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: said it wasn't a little bit of money. She said
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: she needed the money. He lent it to her, and
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: she did say she would pay him back by the
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: end of the following week, right, And then he text
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: her one morning and was like, hey, did your check clear.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I haven't gotten the money yet, and she said, you know,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: immediately she sent him the money. But she was like,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: now now I got an ick because I don't like
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: him no more for asking for his money back.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: You you asked him to borrow money, You didn't ask
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: him to.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Have it, right, because had you asked him to have it,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: him giving it to you would have been a little different.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Maybe he would have given you half, maybe he would
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: have given you what he could stand losing. Right, So
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: is she wrong for not liking him? No more? Yeah? Absolutely,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: bit your fucking yeah. Some people in the comments was like,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: because I love the comments. That's another thing. I love
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: the fucking comments at look, she's so.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Proud of y'all trying to get Also from now we
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: have the whole conversation about the video, but this is interesting.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Soon as soon as the people in the comments are like, yeah,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: because danger, Why you gotta borrow money from your man?
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Why he ain't just give you the money? That girl
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: know her man's financial situation. She probably knows he can't
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: stand to just give her. How much ever money, she said,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: a lot of money. I'm assume fifteen hundred that to me, Like,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I don't know what else would be a lot to
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: some to a regular person.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: I just don't think like people women are really delusional
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: about these men's role in their life.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: And then you gotta see the girl. That's another part.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: I like, girl, like I.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Prefer you to get I don't ask to borrow money.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: I ain't gonna ask to borrow money for my man.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask you for it.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Yes, can I have yes, can I have it?
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Can I have this? I'm never gonna ask to borrow
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: it because that just sounds weird, that sounds borrowed.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: And then she was like, he was sassy for messaging me, sassy, sassy.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: So so now you're gonna call this nigga gay because
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: he want his money back? He should, don't, your ass.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: That's how motherfuckers do when they borrow money, though, is
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: can I can I borrow fifteen hundreds and then you
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: want his little fifteen hundred back? It was not little
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: when you asked to borrow it. Now it's little when
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: you got to return in.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: She called them sassy for messaging her about that money.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: Yeah, y'all should break up because you're ungrateful.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Very much so, because you may have a man who
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: don't even have it to let you borrow exactly, you
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: don't even have it.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: That's rich out here. Every nigga is not that much.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Majority aren't rich. This is what's another thing you're pissing
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: me off on social media. Niggas we talking about how
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: women gonna divorce them and take half of their money.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: The majority of y'all did not have half of shit.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: Stop it to take stop it, y'all.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: You ain't gonna never have to worry about a woman
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: taking half of anything, bitch, Okay, stop it anyway.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Next, she knew her man was like she knew her
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: nigga was. She knew that he probably couldn't afford to
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: give her that, and that's why she to borrow. And
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: then it was just hoping that he would forget mentioned it.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Yeah, because when I let somebody borrow money, I'm still
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: calculating it into my total balance, assuming that you want
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: to pay me back. Like my sister just finessed my
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: ass out of some money. Like I'm buying eb T
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: from her ass. I want to buy me too. I
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: wanted to actually buy EBC listen, But what happened.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Was she was I was like, you hain't even got
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: to get the car no more. You know that that's
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: the card.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: That's what I do. I got that bitch. I'm about
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: to get my money up out of her because I'm
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: gonna get it back at food people.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Some of our bougie listeners like I can't listen to
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: this show.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Anymore, like Girls Inflation. I told you all niggas, But
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: she texts me randomly. I wasn't thinking about grocery shopping.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: But hey, if I'm gonna discount today, of course I'll
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: go grocery shopping. You want to buy some steps, I'm like, yes,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I would like to. I was like how much? She
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: was like to hundred for two hundred? I said, okay,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: So I said, I put them a little card up
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: or whatever. Order my groceries as I'm picking up the
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: groceries from the grocery store, right, I already sent her
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: the money. Right, I'm picking up the groceries from the
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: grocery store. And I had to get some extra shit, right,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: So I got my Instacart stuff and I'm getting some
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: extra shit. She called me like, I wasn't able to
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: such and such and such? Can you give me the
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: other half? So now I've paid twenty I've literally paid
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: one hundred and seventy five dollars for twenty five dollars.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: What am I saying?
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: For two hundred all you got was twenty five dollars?
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Yes, I got finessed my own sister. I'm mad, but bitch,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it back in food. I got your
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: shit programmed. I'm goboua do it right.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: It's already want your car numbers in insta car like
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: they offer that to you before they offer you to
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: spend some money.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: So yep, I'm ana write order me some groceries. I
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: keep meeting the call her like just double check did
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: y'all eat this month? Because I'm about to get my
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: god damn money back up out of your ass. I
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: wasn't even trying to go grocery shopping anyway. I love you, sis.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you said all of that to say, like, take
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: a break from social media.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: We got all right, let's wrap it up in a second.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: But okay. Number seven, it says, think of your attention
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: as a value valuable resource. That's what I was saying,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Like I'm giving people these likes and clicks and all
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the shit. So it says we're taught from a young
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: age to be aware of how much cash we're spending,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: but we don't think twice about how much time we're
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: spending on social media. We need to get better, a
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: lot better at being proactive. Excuse me, hold on, We
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: need to get a lot better at being protective of
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: our attention and be aware of the things that try
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: to take it from us, says Price. It's like how
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: we are careful, careful when we excuse me. It's like
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: how we're careful when it comes to money, but the
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: stakes are because our time and attention are irreplaceable. So
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: when you think about it that way, like, God, damn,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I'm just letting these days pass by that I've just
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: been on social media. I haven't been really productive. Even
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: when I go do some shit, I'm then sitting in
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: my car for fifteen twenty minutes, not even coming in
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: the house. Strolling, Yeah, scrolling up and down.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Driving, scrolling, bitch, I'll be driving.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: I don't even be looking at the road half the time.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Sometimes I don't even know how I get to where
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I'm going. Sometimes that I wod here, how did how
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: your grace of God?
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: Yeah, And I always say that that I'm gonna get
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: off my phone and stop using my phone while I'm driving,
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: because that is so dangerous, you guys. I challenge all
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: of y'all listening to the sound of my voice to
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: put your phone down while you're behind the wheel of
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: your car, especially when you got them chilling in the car.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: And one thing I can stand is when I'm trying
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: to practice discipline and I don't use my phone while
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I'm and then somebody's questioning why it took me long
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to respond back to them. Bitch, I'm trying not to die. Okay, relax,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Relax Exactly Number eight says give your phone a bed time.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I do that. Tell yourself that after a certain time,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: like nine pm, your phone goes into the charging station
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: and it's out of commission until the next day. Smart tip,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: move your charger station from best And I've done that.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I don't have like I have tried doing it right
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: now it's right next to my bed, but I have
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: sometimes I'll put it like further away from me. Also,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: I like to do that for when my alarm goes off,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: I have to get up out the bed to cut
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: the alarm off on the phone. Yes, the less access
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: you have to it, the less likely you are to
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: explore social media until the wee hours. Ultimately, your goal
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: should be to get your phone out of your master
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: bedroom entirely.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: Well, people still have like, how do you say I need?
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: I said, my alarm on my phone right.

- 1:09:21Speaker 1: resetting them. And then the last one is create folders
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: on your home screen. You're more likely to click on
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: those social media icons when they're front and center. All right, Oh,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: you'll put it in like go to box like on
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Apple M that's a good one. Yeah, but I go
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: on the real real just as much. And I got

- 1:10:06Speaker 1: game because I need to pass level twenty five.
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: No, but you gotta make a post tomorrow. I don't
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: know what to talk about. You'll be there tomorrow.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Like you miss a bitch birthday post.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: Bitch is a problem, Like oh yeah, she'll she will
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: fuck with me.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: God damn, Okay, Thursday, I'll just start Monday, see start emotion.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: But it's gonna be another bitch birthday.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I think maybe what I'll do is just social media
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: on the weekends social media week.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: It's a compromise.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: So during the week I can't fuck with social media
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: like that. On the weekends, unlimited to social media if
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I feel like it, if I got time for it.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: But during the week, I can go to the gym more.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: I can write more, I can meditate more, read I
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: can read more. I can do a lot of more
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: and more and more that I'm just not doing because
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: of fucking social media. So you have the time. You know,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: people say I don't got no time. We got plenty
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: of time, plenty time to do. We got plenty of
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: time to be great. We're just not using using our
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: time properly.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: We are into our greatness. We should we missing utilized
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: to challenge you all listening to this episode to step
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: back from social media and step into things that you
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: really enjoy. This outside of that little box that's when
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: attested to your hand for the last ten to fifteen years.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Yeah, amen, that's the last last man. Get the fuck

- 1:11:54Speaker 1: podcast app.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Don't do that just listening, bitch. You ain't got to
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: really do nothing else.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Education, Okay. People who don't have social media completely. I
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: think they, like serial killers, are just the biggest cheaters ever.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Why you don't got no social media? You're a cheater.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: You don't want nobody to know how many hold you got.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: I met this guy in LA and he was so handsome.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: He looked like a Disney prince, the white guy. He
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: looked like he was like literally a Disney prince. He
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: was so handsome, and he didn't have no social media,
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: zero social media whatsoever. And I was like, damn you
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: a fucking unicorn. How that he was dealing with a
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: girl who was crazy and ran him off of social
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: media and he just liked how he felt. Yeah, so
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: he just never got back on.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I can tell you, I feel like my I
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: feel like I had a better quality of life when
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I wasn't on social media for some years for real.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: I just I'm just trying it.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Yeah, when I just got off of Instagram and shit
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: like that, Like Facebook wasn't a problem because I was
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: tired of seeing people I knew in real life be fake.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I'd rather see people I don't know flex But when
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I know your life, I a ride past your house
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: or your mama house or whoever house. I don't want that.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: I don't want to see that shit. Facebook is annoying
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: to me. But people be looking progressive as fuck over there,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: you know, I think they'd be having families, see their
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: families grow, you see when niggas they don't fuck with
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: this done this year, I mean like it'd be a
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: cool I like, I.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Like Facebook because it's like we're my aunties and mom
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: and all the family.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: And but you don't get that much love on Facebook.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: You don't get no life.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying that people, And that's that's that's
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: the other part of it. You fucking haters on Facebook.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: You fucking Facebook haters like act like.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: You don't call me in real life.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Why y'all? That's the problem. It's almost I said this
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: to somebody the other day, and this was pretending to
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: a very close relationship of mine when it's almost like
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: the Statue of liberty, right when you up close to it,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: you can't really see how beautiful it is, you can't
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: really appreciate it until you see it from afar. And
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: that's how some of some relationships be. With people that
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: you love and that supposedly love you, they can't appreciate
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: you because it's they just too up close and personal.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: And that's what facebookaus like. These people know you personally,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: so like that's just candy, that's just that's just aj
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: like we need the shit.
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: Okay, right, let me tell you something.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: YEA share that bit.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: When you fat right and somebody see you all day
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: every day, they can't tell and they be like, you
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: lost some weight. I can't tell I see you too much.
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: But when somebody who ain't seen you in a long
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: time I see you, they'll.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Be like, oh, you don't drop a couple of pounds
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: in it.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: I ain't talking about you. Why are you looking at.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Me like no, no, no, no, I ain't talk about
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: I'm thinking about motherfuckers on Facebook? You be done lost
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: weight and they posting an old eyes fat picture of you.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: That has happened to me. One of my my ex
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: best friend's sister did that to me before because she
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: was still a roly poly. I could not believe I'm like, bitch,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: I have been that big in fucking years. How dare you.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: Right? Don't post my.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Bitch? We fight like you a hater. You're a fucking hater. Anyway, y'all,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I hope y'all enjoyed these little tips.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: We getting the fun up social media a little bit.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: We about to live healthy, fuller, richer lives once we
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: accomplish this thing.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: Okay, you cry, y'all do it after my birthday. Y'all
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: better come and say something.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: We God damn it.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: I don't fuck with y'all, gonna tell y'all I love
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: y'all next week. Oh.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: You know one thing I wanted to add before we go.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: I saw this, and this is another thing about social
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: media that I just it's called.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Let me pull it up right quick, because I think
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: this is like, this is really really a did I
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: not save it? Oh? Here it goes. Have you been
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: rage baited on social media? You know if somebody just
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: says something so outlandish to you, either it's like a
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: response to a comment you've made or just coming on
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: your page saying some shit and like you irate as fuck.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Your thumb's just going and they over there laughing, at.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: You, you know, just trolling you.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: Yeah, they laughing at you. So people rage bait that.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: They have a word for it, a term for it now,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: it's called rage baiting. I know somebody like that who
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: had several social media pages just so control people. And
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: do I know this person, yes, intentionally disagree with them
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: so that he can get into these debates and arguments
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: with people. What in you needs that kind of just discourse?
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: What the fuck is wrong with you?
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: People like that? Some people enjoy just pushing people's buttons,
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: but they would never do it with their own face.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Though. You need get your damn y'all need to get
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: your head knocked off. This is a mental health issue.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: What the hell is happening anyway? I wanted to add
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: that in because I saw a post talking about that,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: and I've definitely been raised beta bitches of it. If
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: it's a Friday and I ain't got shit to do,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I might engage with you, but I have started to
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: just block people. I want to time for that bullshit.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Oh I will too. I ain't gonna lie. I'll get
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: in there. You're like, ryin't got nothing to do? I'd
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: be like, what now?
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: What was that? What was said, or now if it's
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: a comment that people are commenting under. You know, even
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: if I have some people agreeing with some people disagreeing
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: and saying crazy shit to me, I'll just delete the comment,
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: like so it can all disappear. You can't find me
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: to say no dumb shit, no more. Like I'll just
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: delete the comment and be done with it. But sometimes
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: the app, the Apple won't let you delete your.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: Comment if it's too much conversation over it.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: It's like you don't own it anymore. All right, bitch,
