- 0:47Speaker 3: seconds to record a question. Neil chooses the questions that
- 0:50Speaker 3: are the most embarrassing and I answer them spontaneously. I
- 0:54Speaker 3: haven't heard them before. On Friday at eight thirty. Now,
- 0:57Speaker 3: what happened yesterday? Actually it didn't stun me, but I
- 1:02Speaker 3: reached a new level of fear in terms of what's
- 1:06Speaker 3: going on with this country. And it had to do
- 1:10Speaker 3: obviously with the elections and the losses among Republicans and
- 1:18Speaker 3: anybody who spoke against Donald Trump loses his seat primaried out.
- 1:24Speaker 3: And the control that Donald Trump has over the Republican
- 1:27Speaker 3: Party is I've never seen before and I don't know
- 1:30Speaker 3: if we'll ever see again. And because of what happened,
- 1:36Speaker 3: well I'll share what my fear is going to be
- 1:39Speaker 3: the way I see everything going. So let's start with
- 1:43Speaker 3: the lawsuit that President Trump filed against the IRS, basically
- 1:50Speaker 3: filed against his own administration. There was a contractor that
- 1:53Speaker 3: worked for the IRS, and one of the individuals leaked
- 1:57Speaker 3: his tax returns to a news organize, and he obviously
- 2:03Speaker 3: got a little upset as all of us, as all
- 2:04Speaker 3: of us do.
- 2:05Speaker 2: So he filed a ten billion dollar lawsuit.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Now, when a president files a lawsuit against one of
- 2:13Speaker 3: his agencies that work for him, the executive branch, and
- 2:18Speaker 3: I guess he had to settle with himself. I guess
- 2:23Speaker 3: that's what happens. And so I don't know where you go.
- 2:27Speaker 3: One of the judges said, I'd never A judge who
- 2:30Speaker 3: was asked for a quote, said, I don't know how
- 2:33Speaker 3: that works when you are both the plaintiff and the defendant,
- 2:38Speaker 3: and you can settle with yourself. So with that in mind,
- 2:44Speaker 3: the President agreed to drop the lawsuit against the government,
- 2:50Speaker 3: and in return he part of the settlement with his
- 2:55Speaker 3: branch of government.
- 2:57Speaker 2: So part of the settlement with himself was.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Number one, any tax return will never be audited involving
- 3:06Speaker 3: his family, himself, or anything revolving the Trump organizations in
- 3:12Speaker 3: the past. And so it's that's in perpetuity, is.
- 3:17Speaker 2: What the argument is. The Department of Justice that.
- 3:19Speaker 3: He heads, by the way, and of course the sittying
- 3:25Speaker 3: secretary the DOJ Department of Justice said, oh no, this
- 3:32Speaker 3: is not about President Trump. This is a legitimate negotiation
- 3:37Speaker 3: with someone who is a plaintiff. Huh okay, that starts.
- 3:42Speaker 3: So there's win number one for the president. No, absolutely
- 3:48Speaker 3: no audit of any tax return dealing with him, his family, members,
- 3:52Speaker 3: his companies, because remember, no one is above the law
- 3:56Speaker 3: in this country. So effectively, what he can do is
- 4:01Speaker 3: decide what he is going to pay a taxes what
- 4:03Speaker 3: he thinks is fair and cannot be audited and cannot
- 4:07Speaker 3: be nailed for it. Nice nice place to be, isn't
- 4:11Speaker 3: it when you're dealing with the taxes. The other thing,
- 4:15Speaker 3: and this one stunned me, also crazy, is that he
- 4:19Speaker 3: created a fund of almost one point eight billion dollars
- 4:24Speaker 3: to pay those people who were victims of the weaponization
- 4:29Speaker 3: of the Joe Biden White House that were weaponized against them,
- 4:35Speaker 3: including the January sixth rioters, because as Trump said when
- 4:41Speaker 3: he signed the pardon, these were patriots.
- 4:46Speaker 2: This was a peaceful.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Demonstration, and to arrest them, to prosecute them is political persecution.
- 4:55Speaker 3: It is the weaponization of the DOJ and the FBI
- 4:59Speaker 3: and all man of the executive branch, the law enforcement
- 5:02Speaker 3: branch of the United States that unfairly targeted them, unfairly
- 5:08Speaker 3: targeted the January sixth, the January sixth rioters. And are
- 5:15Speaker 3: we hearing anybody screaming about that the Republican Party. No,
- 5:20Speaker 3: there were some Republicans who were there and were threatened
- 5:24Speaker 3: with their lives that had to be squirreled away and
- 5:28Speaker 3: put into a secure part of the Capitol because they
- 5:31Speaker 3: were threatened to be killed. And they're saying, okay, okay,
- 5:39Speaker 3: that is tough to stomach. I must tell you, and
- 5:43Speaker 3: it's gonna happen. I mean, it's and what in this one,
- 5:48Speaker 3: I couldn't believe it was Hegsath, I think at a
- 5:50Speaker 3: press conference when he was asked about this, he said, Oh,
- 5:53Speaker 3: anybody can file a claim.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Anybody. Well, I'd like to see a Republican.
- 5:59Speaker 3: I would like to see a Democrat file acclaim saying
- 6:02Speaker 3: that he was unfairly he or she was unfairly targeted.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Sure, why not? Why not?
- 6:12Speaker 3: And you were going to see You're gonna see some
- 6:14Speaker 3: oathkeepers filing acclaim who were convicted and were in prison
- 6:19Speaker 3: when they were pardoned. And I, I can't imagine. I
- 6:25Speaker 3: wouldn't have guessed that this could happen. I would say
- 6:27Speaker 3: this is science fiction that the government would pay taxpayer money,
- 6:34Speaker 3: would pay these cockroaches and what they did to the
- 6:38Speaker 3: US government and over in an overreach and attacking the
- 6:44Speaker 3: US Capitol the second time in the history of the
- 6:46Speaker 3: United States where the Capitol was overrun, the first time
- 6:50Speaker 3: being by the British in the War of eighteen twelve,
- 6:54Speaker 3: the second time by American citizens to overturn an election
- 7:00Speaker 3: that they say was rigged. That's very scary stuff. Okay,
- 7:05Speaker 3: that's the irs part of it. What happened yesterday is
- 7:08Speaker 3: I explained this morning going into it yesterday, there was
- 7:13Speaker 3: a line that was drawn for me in which I
- 7:16Speaker 3: went to I went from a command. This is crazy too.
- 7:20Speaker 3: I'm genuinely scared now as to which way the country
- 7:23Speaker 3: is going, truly. So I told you about the IRS,
- 7:28Speaker 3: that the President had sued the IRS for ten billion dollars,
- 7:32Speaker 3: and he it was because his tax return was leaked
- 7:36Speaker 3: by a contractor who worked for the IRS, not an employee,
- 7:41Speaker 3: and he sued for ten billion dollars in damages. I
- 7:44Speaker 3: don't know where ten billion dollars came from, and it
- 7:48Speaker 3: so he sued himself because the IRS is under his auspices,
- 7:52Speaker 3: and he ct a deal with himself. I'll drop the
- 7:55Speaker 3: ten billion dollars if you never ever audit my returns,
- 7:59Speaker 3: my kids, any business involved with me.
- 8:02Speaker 2: That's the deal.
- 8:03Speaker 3: And I want one point eight billion dollars for anybody
- 8:07Speaker 3: who claims or and we give that claim that they
- 8:11Speaker 3: were persecuted and by a weaponize Biden a White House
- 8:16Speaker 3: and there'll be a panel of five people, which four
- 8:20Speaker 3: he appoints to make that decision. So he's just he's
- 8:23Speaker 3: just negotiated with himself. A pretty good deal when you
- 8:26Speaker 3: negotiate with yourself. So now let's move to the elections.
- 8:30Speaker 3: And the two big ones that came down were Senator
- 8:34Speaker 3: Bill Cassidy in Louisiana, who lost was primaried out, and
- 8:38Speaker 3: I mean by a big number.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Wasn't even close.
- 8:43Speaker 3: And then last night in Kentucky you have Massey, Thomas Massey,
- 8:52Speaker 3: and actually he's the most prominent GOP critic of mister Trump,
- 8:56Speaker 3: and he went out because the President said I want
- 8:59Speaker 3: him out and endorsed other Republicans and effectively said you
- 9:06Speaker 3: vote him out to his base, and they did. And
- 9:12Speaker 3: it's not because these guys he was against them politically,
- 9:16Speaker 3: maybe they were too liberal. It's because they went against
- 9:19Speaker 3: him on a couple of points.
- 9:21Speaker 2: That's it.
- 9:22Speaker 3: If you go against Donald Trump, you do it at
- 9:25Speaker 3: your risk. Which is why it doesn't matter what the
- 9:28Speaker 3: president says or does. No one speaks negatively about him
- 9:32Speaker 3: in Congress. He can do whatever he wants legitimately, whether
- 9:37Speaker 3: it's illegitimate or not. And out they go. They are
- 9:40Speaker 3: primaried out, and they are out of politics. That is
- 9:45Speaker 3: pretty scary. You've got a one man rule, certainly in
- 9:49Speaker 3: the Republican Party and he was elected. So now let's
- 9:53Speaker 3: move on to what I think is going to happen prognostication,
- 9:57Speaker 3: and that is at first I thought that the move
- 10:01Speaker 3: to undo repeal the twenty second Amendment giving a person
- 10:06Speaker 3: only two.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Terms as president.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I thought it was going to be introduced by some
- 10:11Speaker 3: crazy congress person. There's going to be a movement in
- 10:14Speaker 3: Congress to undo the twenty second Amendment. Is it going
- 10:18Speaker 3: to pass? I don't think so, because the numbers just
- 10:21Speaker 3: don't pan out. But and how does it pass? How
- 10:25Speaker 3: do you do a constitutional amendment? Two ways of doing it.
- 10:28Speaker 3: You either do it with a constitucial convention, which has
- 10:32Speaker 3: never happened, or you do it with the states coming
- 10:35Speaker 3: in and you get to three quarters of the states
- 10:38Speaker 3: voting for it, and the convention you need two thirds
- 10:42Speaker 3: of Congress. I don't think you're going to see those numbers.
- 10:46Speaker 3: I don't, But I think there's going to be a
- 10:48Speaker 3: big move to undo it among Republicans, among Republicans, Republican
- 10:54Speaker 3: congress people. I do believe that. So with that being said,
- 10:58Speaker 3: is Trump going to lose his power? Not even close.
- 11:02Speaker 3: He will be a king maker. He will have the
- 11:05Speaker 3: same power he does now. He will say this is
- 11:10Speaker 3: who I want you to vote for, and this is
- 11:13Speaker 3: who I want out of the party, this is who
- 11:15Speaker 3: I want you to unelect. Even incumbent popular candidates if
- 11:24Speaker 3: they're in. If they cross Trump, they'll be gone. He'll
- 11:28Speaker 3: be the king maker. That's until he dies. Now let
- 11:33Speaker 3: me take it one step further, and that is inheriting
- 11:38Speaker 3: the mantle of Donald Trump.
- 11:42Speaker 2: A Republican runs for office.
- 11:44Speaker 3: This is what Donald Trump would do, much like Republicans
- 11:48Speaker 3: today deify Ronald Reagan. They call themselves Reagan Republicans. They're
- 11:53Speaker 3: not Ronald Reagan would turn over in his grave if
- 11:56Speaker 3: he found out what was happening to the Republican Party.
- 11:58Speaker 3: So they give lips or is to Ronald Reagan and
- 12:02Speaker 3: he's deified somehow, and he would have nothing to do
- 12:05Speaker 3: with what's going on. Ronald Reagan was a conciliatory I mean,
- 12:09Speaker 3: he was collegiate. He talked to the other side, he negotiated,
- 12:13Speaker 3: he came to a consensus. You think that's happening today.
- 12:17Speaker 3: So it's going to go into what would Donald Trump do?
- 12:22Speaker 3: That is what I'm running on. If I'm a Republican,
- 12:25Speaker 3: and if you disagree with what he would do, we're
- 12:29Speaker 3: talking ten years after he's dead. By the way, then
- 12:32Speaker 3: you are primaried out. Then you are done in politics.
- 12:36Speaker 3: That's what I think is the power and scope of
- 12:40Speaker 3: this president. I've never seen anything like this.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Doesn't it come down to the people. Though he did come,
- 12:48Speaker 4: he can't shut someone down. They got voted out because
- 12:52Speaker 4: people in his party not you know, I didn't vote
- 12:56Speaker 4: for him, You didn't vote for him, right, but people
- 12:59Speaker 4: did vot for him.
- 13:00Speaker 2: People. Oh yeah, No, absolutely, no, he can't. But that's
- 13:03Speaker 2: that's a very comp party has just changed.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a very complicated, very complicated question. We're talking
- 13:09Speaker 3: about Kamala Harris, We're talking about Joe Biden, We're talking
- 13:13Speaker 3: about I mean, all.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Of that in there.
- 13:15Speaker 3: This is just straight out. This is simplistic. This is
- 13:19Speaker 3: you cross me, you are out, you lose, Thank you.
- 13:23Speaker 2: I get that. And we did elect And I'm saying,
- 13:26Speaker 2: of course, the comfort in the country. He's not doing it.
- 13:29Speaker 2: He's motivating the base.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right, he's doing it. He's ordering it. Yeah,
- 13:35Speaker 3: because he's and they're listening to him. Now, we're going
- 13:38Speaker 3: to see what happens in the general. We'll see what happens.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Independents don't like him. He's got a thirty seven percent
- 13:44Speaker 3: approval rating. I mean, that is horrific, and yet he
- 13:48Speaker 3: still controls the Republican Party. We'll see what happens in
- 13:50Speaker 3: the general. By the way, if he if the Republicans,
- 13:54Speaker 3: if the Trump Republicans win in the general, that is
- 13:58Speaker 3: the Senate seats, and if well, Senate may be flipped.
- 14:02Speaker 3: The House should be flipped. But if not, he is
- 14:07Speaker 3: the kingmaker, he will stay in office. Well, if he
- 14:11Speaker 3: can get rid of the twenty second Amendment, which I
- 14:13Speaker 3: know is going to happen, well, the attempt is I
- 14:15Speaker 3: know is going to happen. This is why I'm so uncomfortable.
- 14:18Speaker 3: This is why I am just coming out of my mind. Okay, Now,
- 14:24Speaker 3: gun control, Oh God, I love gun control, and you
- 14:26Speaker 3: know not that it matters anymore because the whole issue
- 14:30Speaker 3: of gun control is moot because a whole bunch of
- 14:33Speaker 3: decisions by the Supreme Court and the power of the
- 14:35Speaker 3: NRA and other gun lobbies. But here's the latest. In California,
- 14:40Speaker 3: which already has the stiffest gun laws in the country,
- 14:44Speaker 3: there's a bill that's just been introduced and it would
- 14:47Speaker 3: require Californians to take a four hour course with live
- 14:54Speaker 3: live fire training to buy a gun. It's sent a
- 14:58Speaker 3: bill nine also would require gun owners moving to California
- 15:04Speaker 3: to obtain a Firearms Safety Certificate and register their firearms
- 15:08Speaker 3: within one hundred and eighty days of their arrival, and
- 15:12Speaker 3: beginning in twenty twenty eight, getting that certificate would require
- 15:16Speaker 3: completing the.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Training four hours of training.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Okay, this is the latest effort by California Democrats to
- 15:26Speaker 3: add even more restrictions to some of the toughestkun laws
- 15:30Speaker 3: in the country. Last year, a similar measure died in
- 15:33Speaker 3: the legislature. So the proposal advanced from the Senate Proporations
- 15:38Speaker 3: Committee on Thursday and on a party line vote. How unusual,
- 15:46Speaker 3: Republicans oppose it, and of course Democrats were in favor. Now,
- 15:50Speaker 3: the committee members who moved it forward no comment, did
- 15:53Speaker 3: not take any public testimony, which, by the way, that's
- 15:56Speaker 3: what this committee doesn't do usually. In March and earlier
- 16:00Speaker 3: version would have required eight hours of training. And the
- 16:04Speaker 3: argument is the training in fact just helps the accidental shooting.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I mean, that's the one, that's the big one. According
- 16:14Speaker 3: to those proponents of the bill, two thirds of the
- 16:17Speaker 3: deaths of guns in California happened because of accidental shooting.
- 16:25Speaker 3: That's what came.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Out of the committee.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Rebecca Marcus told the committee she testified she's a lobbyist
- 16:33Speaker 3: for the Brady Campaign, as you would think it's a
- 16:36Speaker 3: gun control lobby said, sixty nine thousand shootings requiring urgent
- 16:41Speaker 3: medical care in California in twenty sixteen to twenty twenty one.
- 16:45Speaker 3: In those five years, one in three were accidental. Okay,
- 16:50Speaker 3: so we've got that going through. Anybody opposed to it.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know. How about gun.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Rights activists, because according to the gun folks advocacy groups,
- 17:01Speaker 3: any limitation on gun rights ownership, requiring licenses, requiring background checks,
- 17:09Speaker 3: which they couldn't stop, gets in the way of the
- 17:11Speaker 3: Second Amendment. And you can't stop the rights of a
- 17:15Speaker 3: second amendment to own guns. Well, how about all the killings, Well,
- 17:20Speaker 3: guns don't kill. Guns don't kill. People kill. And then
- 17:25Speaker 3: my argument was, how does someone kill with the gun
- 17:29Speaker 3: if they don't have a gun. Explain that one to me. Okay,
- 17:36Speaker 3: but everybody has a gun. Now it's a question of restricting.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Do you force training? Do you force people that have
- 17:42Speaker 3: a gun. And the other argument is, well, you certainly do.
- 17:45Speaker 3: When it comes to driver's licenses, for example, you have
- 17:48Speaker 3: to in order to get a driver's license, you have
- 17:50Speaker 3: to prove that you had training. That's the laws, certainly
- 17:54Speaker 3: for minors, and you have to be licensed to have
- 17:57Speaker 3: a driver's license, obviously, and so therefore why wouldn't it
- 18:03Speaker 3: be with guns.
- 18:04Speaker 2: And the argument that.
- 18:05Speaker 3: They bring in, which is true, is driver's licenses are
- 18:08Speaker 3: not in the constitution. The right to own a gun
- 18:13Speaker 3: is in the Constitution the Second Amendment, because we don't
- 18:18Speaker 3: have for example, twenty ninth Amendment says everybody's entitled to
- 18:23Speaker 3: the government shall make no will not get in the
- 18:27Speaker 3: way I'm just paraphrasing, get in the way of you
- 18:29Speaker 3: driving with this pesky little thing called the driver's license.
- 18:34Speaker 3: So the NRA, of course, is against it. The gun
- 18:38Speaker 3: lobby is totally against it. Now, you know, for those
- 18:42Speaker 3: people that are gun advocates, and I'm saying, you know,
- 18:45Speaker 3: I'm not a big fan, as you know, but let
- 18:47Speaker 3: me ask you a question. I mean, do you really care?
- 18:50Speaker 3: I mean, do you not think it's a good idea
- 18:52Speaker 3: for mandatory training? I mean, buy all the guns you want,
- 18:57Speaker 3: but a trait?
- 19:00Speaker 4: How does that go against your constitutional right to have
- 19:02Speaker 4: to be trained?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Well, we're going to find out no.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Well, you know, it's a Supreme Court issue. Having to
- 19:08Speaker 3: be trained is at a violation of the Second Amendment.
- 19:11Speaker 3: There are a lot of issues that you could argue,
- 19:13Speaker 3: for example.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Machine guns.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Owning machine guns are a violation or not a violation
- 19:19Speaker 3: of the Second Amendment, And this up to the courts,
- 19:21Speaker 3: up to the Supreme Court to decide, well, okay, this
- 19:24Speaker 3: is a violation, that is not a violation. The Heller decision,
- 19:28Speaker 3: when it was illegal in Detroit to have a handgun
- 19:31Speaker 3: even at home, well guess what Supreme Court ruled that
- 19:36Speaker 3: at home for your protection you can have a handgun.
- 19:40Speaker 3: And that blew it wide open. The court said, yeah,
- 19:43Speaker 3: under those circumstances, you are protected under the Second Amendment.
- 19:47Speaker 2: So we'll see. Just makes sense to me.
- 19:49Speaker 3: But again, you know the gun lobby, it's everything's a
- 19:52Speaker 3: slippery slope. By the way, everything you have, you know,
- 19:57Speaker 3: fully automatic weapons. Come on now, Second Amendment.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Even the freedom of speech has limitations, right, thank you,
- 20:05Speaker 4: that's the whole point.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Well here, well, okay, how about this. Okay, freedom of
- 20:11Speaker 3: speech is limited. You can't yell fire in a crowded theater. However,
- 20:17Speaker 3: gun advocates saying, we agree, no fire in a crowded theater,
- 20:22Speaker 3: but coming in with a fully automatic submachine gun and
- 20:26Speaker 3: shooting up the theater. That's the Second Amendment issue is
- 20:28Speaker 3: protected by the way. That's ridiculous. I understand that, and
- 20:32Speaker 3: that analogy sucks. Okay, just wanted to make a ridiculous point. Okay,
- 20:36Speaker 3: I want to tell you about a little Arkansas town, Camden, Arkansas.
- 20:41Speaker 3: It has a worker shortage because of the defense manufacturing.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Twenty twenty two, the Pentagon called for more weapons, a
- 20:51Speaker 3: lot more weapons, because not only to give Ukraine, but
- 20:56Speaker 3: to shore up our store of weaponry here because we're
- 21:02Speaker 3: running low. Even though the Pentagon says, oh no, no,
- 21:05Speaker 3: we have plenty. Well, I don't know. In any case,
- 21:08Speaker 3: Lockey Market, Martin and other contractors have partnered with Southern
- 21:12Speaker 3: Arkansas University Tech to expand apprenticeships and training.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Huh. Aerospace and defense employment in.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Owa, Cheetah and Calhoun Counties, very well known across the country,
- 21:28Speaker 3: went up fifty four percent from twenty twenty and last
- 21:31Speaker 3: year it was thirty one hundred and forty people. Now,
- 21:35Speaker 3: that seems like a tiny little number of people that
- 21:38Speaker 3: were employed in aerospace. The town has ten thousand people.
- 21:44Speaker 2: This is thirty percent.
- 21:46Speaker 3: Why because of the massive government spending for war material,
- 21:53Speaker 3: for ammunition, for rocket launchers, et cetera. The Pentagon last
- 21:58Speaker 3: year had a budget of nine hundred billion dollars. This
- 22:01Speaker 3: year it's one point for trillion dollars. The government is
- 22:06Speaker 3: giving far more than the Pentagon even asks for. You know,
- 22:10Speaker 3: while other programs are being gutted. And we've talked about
- 22:12Speaker 3: that and we will for example, and we talked about
- 22:15Speaker 3: Jim on this one. How many people are dying of
- 22:18Speaker 3: a bola And us AID has doctors, had doctors that
- 22:24Speaker 3: would go in and fight this stuff gone because of
- 22:28Speaker 3: the government cutting programs. But man, not when it comes
- 22:31Speaker 3: to the Pentagon. So you have this little town that
- 22:35Speaker 3: is now reeling in government orders, and you've got the
- 22:39Speaker 3: major companies coming in. And here's what was happening. Some
- 22:43Speaker 3: of these defense companies that came in, we're poaching talent
- 22:47Speaker 3: from each other and realize we're only hurting ourselves. So
- 22:50Speaker 3: what are they doing? Well, let me tell you what
- 22:53Speaker 3: Lockey did. Expanded the pool of potential workers. Began inviting
- 22:57Speaker 3: local high schools to seniors and their parents to the
- 23:01Speaker 3: Camden facility, and started working with Southern Arkansas University Tech,
- 23:06Speaker 3: a two year community college, to ramp up apprenticeships to
- 23:11Speaker 3: develop a Workforce Development grant. That's what the state did
- 23:15Speaker 3: and began funneling millions of dollars into the university.
- 23:19Speaker 2: And how does this help you? Bet it has.
- 23:22Speaker 3: It's turned the area into an engine for the war
- 23:25Speaker 3: machine of America.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Not bad, not bad.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Circuxher of Defense Pete Heatsath in what is it February,
- 23:35Speaker 3: went there and spoke at them, spoke to the town
- 23:40Speaker 3: and said, this is what America is all about.
- 23:43Speaker 2: This is what we do well.
- 23:45Speaker 3: And so if you want a job, I would go
- 23:48Speaker 3: to this little town in Arkansas, and you are paid
- 23:52Speaker 3: pretty good money.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Now. It started. Now, this seems very low to us.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Beginning salaries was thirty six thousand dollars, which seems kills leo.
- 24:00Speaker 3: But keep in mind this is Arkansas, where lawyers are
- 24:03Speaker 3: paid with sides of bacon. And it's just, hey, what
- 24:07Speaker 3: can I tell you?
- 24:08Speaker 2: Now?
- 24:09Speaker 3: It's fifty thousand dollars starting salary, and fifty thousand dollars
- 24:16Speaker 3: in this part of Arkansas is the equivalent of one
- 24:20Speaker 3: point three billion dollars here in southern California. There isn't
- 24:25Speaker 3: much of a comparison. All right, coming up, buses, superbusses.
- 24:32Speaker 3: You've heard of the supertrain, You bullet train? How about
- 24:35Speaker 3: bullet buses? This is a weird one and it may
- 24:38Speaker 3: not be so much science fiction either. This is KFI
- 24:41Speaker 3: AM six forty.
- 24:43Speaker 2: You've been listening to the Bill Handle Show.
