- 0:33Speaker 4: Valdez on all of the social media. Welcome to the

- 0:47Speaker 4: Join us on the open phone America part of the show.
- 0:49Speaker 4: And I want to get into some stuff because last
- 0:51Speaker 4: night there was a shooting. Apparently, There was a guy
- 0:56Speaker 4: in an SUV. He had his kid in the car.
- 0:58Speaker 4: He was suspected of being a Trinitarios gang member. This
- 1:02Speaker 4: guy goes ahead and gets pulled over by ICE. They're
- 1:05Speaker 4: trying to apprehend him. He tries to get away. He
- 1:08Speaker 4: hits two different parked cars on the way out of
- 1:11Speaker 4: the scenario he was in, eventually stopped by the bullet
- 1:15Speaker 4: of an ICE agent because he tried to run the
- 1:17Speaker 4: guy over. Well, all of that happened, and guess what?
- 1:20Speaker 4: Mayor Zoran Mamdani's still doubling down, defending the criminals.
- 1:24Speaker 6: What a surprise.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Democrats can't seem to get out of their own way
- 1:28Speaker 4: when it comes to absolutely embracing the criminality in our country.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Listen to this.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Man's vehicle before opening fire. They wore construction vests and
- 1:40Speaker 2: masks that concealed their faces. There was no reasonable way
- 1:44Speaker 2: to identify them as ICE agents. When ICE agents opened fire,
- 1:49Speaker 2: a five-year-old child, a five-year-old child was in the backseat
- 1:54Speaker 2: of the car. Thank God that child is physically unharmed.
- 2:00Speaker 2: For the past two hours, I have been on the
- 2:03Speaker 2: phone with President Trump and Secretary Mullen, negotiating the release
- 2:09Speaker 2: of the man ICE agents shot. Those negotiations.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Hold on a second. Did he say he's negotiating the
- 2:15Speaker 4: release of the man they shot? They shot him because
- 2:19Speaker 4: he tried to kill a cop and he was wanted.
- 2:22Speaker 4: And guess what he's wanted for?
- 2:24Speaker 6: Shooting a cop. That's right.
- 2:26Speaker 4: A federal border patrol agent, a customs and border patrol
- 2:29Speaker 4: officer that was shot in the neck in New York
- 2:32Speaker 4: about a year ago.
- 2:32Speaker 6: This time.
- 2:34Speaker 4: I remember that like yesterday. Yet Zora Mamdani wants this
- 2:38Speaker 4: guy released.
- 2:40Speaker 6: Why?
- 2:40Speaker 7: Why?
- 2:41Speaker 4: Matter of fact, Zoran Mamdani had this guy in custody.
- 2:44Speaker 4: The police, NYPD, had him in custody and they let
- 2:46Speaker 4: him go. Why? Sanctuary City. They don't care if you're
- 2:51Speaker 4: a criminal.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Why?
- 2:52Speaker 4: Because they want to abolish ICE. They want to abolish prisons.
- 2:55Speaker 4: They want to abolish law and order. They want to
- 2:58Speaker 4: abolish safety. Go ahead, play the tape.
- 3:01Speaker 3: We're unsuccessful.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Just moments ago, ICE put the man in an unmarked
- 3:07Speaker 2: vehicle and whisked him away. Let me say this plainly.
- 3:11Speaker 2: What happened today was an outrage.
- 3:16Speaker 4: An outrage. Anyway, so the New York officials are now
- 3:19Speaker 4: giving details about what happened last night, Thursday night, in
- 3:23Speaker 4: the ICE-involved shooting. The man was left hospitalized. An officer
- 3:26Speaker 4: fired at least seven rounds into the car, wounding the man,
- 3:29Speaker 4: while five-year-old his son, five-year-old boy, sat in the back,
- 3:33Speaker 4: unharmed in the back seat. And that's according to the mayor.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Thank God the kid's okay. But again, the bullets weren't
- 3:38Speaker 4: intended for him, and this is a professional law enforcer, right?
- 3:41Speaker 4: who was using a long gun at that. This was
- 3:43Speaker 4: a targeted operation. They knew who they were going after.
- 3:46Speaker 4: This guy is a suspected gang member who's also wanted
- 3:49Speaker 4: for questioning related to the shooting of a Border Patrol officer.
- 3:52Speaker 4: This is what Zoram Mambani had to say. I mean,
- 3:55Speaker 4: it blows me away that he takes the side of
- 3:59Speaker 4: the bad guys each and every time. I understand this
- 4:03Speaker 4: man is innocent until proven guilty, but we already know
- 4:05Speaker 4: that he's guilty of other crimes because he's got a
- 4:07Speaker 4: huge rap sheet. This man came to America to rob people,
- 4:12Speaker 4: to stick people up. He didn't come here legally. He
- 4:16Speaker 4: didn't come here to be a bodeguero, to make America
- 4:20Speaker 4: great again. So pardon me, forgive me, and miss me
- 4:26Speaker 4: with your drama. I don't have any sympathy for this.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Were we supposed to let this guy run the cop over?
- 4:35Speaker 4: It seems like there's so many people out there that think,
- 4:39Speaker 4: you know what? What should happen here in a case
- 4:41Speaker 4: like this is that the cops would just put their
- 4:43Speaker 4: guns down, move out of the way and let the
- 4:45Speaker 4: bad guys go. What? What are you enforcing at that point?
- 4:51Speaker 4: What kind of example are you setting at that point?
- 4:53Speaker 4: You're not doing a damn thing except telling them, hey,
- 4:56Speaker 4: they're in charge and you're not. They could do whatever
- 4:58Speaker 4: they want and you can't do anything. The public is
- 5:01Speaker 4: not safe. All of the public, the entirety of society
- 5:07Speaker 4: has to suffer at the hands of this thug. because
- 5:10Speaker 4: of a handful of stupid politicians. No thank you. Hard
- 5:14Speaker 4: pass for me. I'm not interested. I think everybody has
- 5:17Speaker 4: a right to be safe, and that's government's number one function,
- 5:20Speaker 4: is to keep us safe, to keep everybody safe. Now,
- 5:23Speaker 4: el Trumpito de Naldes Magnus, the 45th and 47th president
- 5:27Speaker 4: of these United States, Donald J. Trump, el presidente.
- 5:31Speaker 6: He weighed in on this.
- 5:32Speaker 4: He's here in New York, up in Syracuse, stumping for
- 5:35Speaker 4: Bruce Blakeman. And he had a few things to say
- 5:37Speaker 4: about last night's ICE shooting, as did Secretary Mullen, as
- 5:40Speaker 4: did a couple others. And we're going to get to
- 5:42Speaker 4: a lot of this reaction. Plus, I'm going to go
- 5:44Speaker 4: one-on-one with Councilwoman Vicky Palladino, New York City Councilwoman, on
- 5:49Speaker 4: her thoughts on this ICE shooting. You know, she's always
- 5:52Speaker 4: beating around the bush and never telling us what's really
- 5:54Speaker 4: on her mind. Wink, wink, ha-ha. You know how she
- 5:57Speaker 4: does it. So we're going to talk to her in
- 5:58Speaker 4: the upcoming segment. But I want to get to this
- 6:01Speaker 4: clip of Trump because I think Trump always has a
- 6:04Speaker 4: way of putting things so plainly. And this, to me,
- 6:08Speaker 4: should be open and shut. It should be the easiest
- 6:11Speaker 4: thing ever. But yet, somehow, some people like Mamdani are
- 6:13Speaker 4: confused about it. Check this out.
- 6:15Speaker 8: And just yesterday, our heroes of ICE apprehended a man
- 6:19Speaker 8: with a criminal record a mile long who was wanted
- 6:22Speaker 8: for possible murder and.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Murder in a gang.
- 6:26Speaker 8: In other words, the gang murdered somebody. Very nice person.
- 6:31Speaker 8: He's a very dangerous man. And they got him. But
- 6:35Speaker 8: instead of being praised, ICE was scorned by New York
- 6:39Speaker 8: politicians who set him loose.
- 6:41Speaker 4: They want to set him loose.
- 6:42Speaker 5: We want him to be loose.
- 6:45Speaker 8: Guys wanted for murder.
- 6:46Speaker 6: They want him to be loose.
- 6:48Speaker 8: And then they're surprised when they see your crime stats.
- 6:52Speaker 8: If you want to stop illegal alien criminals from being
- 6:55Speaker 8: released into your communities, you must elect Bruce Blakeman and
- 7:00Speaker 8: the Republican Congress. And we will ban sanctuary cities and
- 7:05Speaker 8: sanctuary states at long last.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Now, how could you disagree with what El Trompito is
- 7:11Speaker 4: saying here?
- 7:12Speaker 5: Right.
- 7:12Speaker 4: The guys wanted for murder. He's escaping in a car.
- 7:16Speaker 4: We don't know if that's his kid or not. They
- 7:18Speaker 4: didn't even know there was a kid in the car.
- 7:19Speaker 4: But now we know there's a kid in the car
- 7:21Speaker 4: and that's how he behaves. Now, of course, he's going
- 7:23Speaker 4: to say, look, I was scared. I didn't know this
- 7:25Speaker 4: guy had a traffic vest on. He was waving a
- 7:26Speaker 4: rifle at me. His car had police lights in front.
- 7:29Speaker 4: I don't know. I thought he was somebody like me
- 7:31Speaker 4: that pretends to be the cops that rob people, blah, blah, blah.
- 7:33Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:34Speaker 4: That's what when you're a criminal, you act and behave
- 7:36Speaker 4: and react like a criminal. I think most people, if
- 7:40Speaker 4: they get pulled over by the cops, they realize that's
- 7:42Speaker 4: the cops and they don't think twice about it. But
- 7:44Speaker 4: this guy, and again, I don't believe it for a second, right?
- 7:47Speaker 4: I mean, everybody always says, hey, listen, we only ran
- 7:51Speaker 4: because we were scared. 99% of the world doesn't run
- 7:57Speaker 4: away when they're approached by the police. 99%. So if
- 8:01Speaker 4: you're the 1% that decides to run away, then hey,
- 8:04Speaker 4: lucky you, you made it to the 1%. I'm glad
- 8:07Speaker 4: I'm in the majority here. Not in the minority on
- 8:09Speaker 4: this one. Anyway, El Trumpito is right on here. This
- 8:13Speaker 4: guy is not a good guy. He doesn't represent anything
- 8:16Speaker 4: that's good for society or about society. So we should
- 8:22Speaker 4: bend over backwards to protect him. Like I was going
- 8:24Speaker 4: to say Barack Hussein Mamdani. I guess that's a Freudian slip.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Like Zoran Kwame Mamdani. Come on, man. Like in the
- 8:33Speaker 4: words of Joe Biden, come on, man.
- 8:35Speaker 8: Anyway.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Secretary Mullen had a lot to say a little bit
- 8:39Speaker 4: earlier with respect to this as well. Listen to this.
- 8:43Speaker 9: Speaking facts, the mayor speaks with political tone. His words
- 8:48Speaker 9: are dangerous and incite hostility. It doesn't help. Once again,
- 8:55Speaker 9: the mayor was completely silent last week when his own
- 8:59Speaker 9: NYPD officer was stabbed seven times by two criminals that
- 9:04Speaker 9: they had released back into the streets. He didn't see
- 9:07Speaker 9: the outrage that he spoke from a podium last night from,
- 9:10Speaker 9: but he wants to go after ICE for enforcing our
- 9:13Speaker 9: nation's laws. He used words like New Yorkers by describing
- 9:18Speaker 9: Oscar as a New Yorker. I'm sorry, he's from the
- 9:20Speaker 9: Dominican Republic.
- 9:21Speaker 4: He's talking about Oscar Belgal. He is the suspect in
- 9:25Speaker 4: this case that was shot, that was fleeing federal law enforcement,
- 9:29Speaker 4: Oscar Belgal.
- 9:31Speaker 9: He came to this country legally a few years ago,
- 9:34Speaker 9: and ever since he's come in, he's committed crimes. Crime
- 9:38Speaker 9: after crime. When the mayor uses language like he used
- 9:41Speaker 9: last night, yet he's silent when his own officer gets stabbed.
- 9:47Speaker 9: By the way, those two individuals from the Dominican Republic too,
- 9:51Speaker 9: just to make the connection, he's silent on that, but
- 9:55Speaker 9: yet he throws a, as I would say in Oklahoma,
- 9:58Speaker 9: a ringtail fit.
- 10:00Speaker 4: About this criminal.
- 10:02Speaker 6: It's hypocrisy.
- 10:03Speaker 4: 100%.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Right?
- 10:05Speaker 1: Really?
- 10:06Speaker 4: Like, where is the outrage when your cop is getting
- 10:09Speaker 4: stabbed seven times? Nothing, right? Or the time that the
- 10:12Speaker 4: cop shot the guy because the guy tried to stab him.
- 10:14Speaker 4: This was a few months ago, maybe eight or nine,
- 10:17Speaker 4: 10 months ago. Cop is in the house. Guy grabs
- 10:22Speaker 4: a knife, tries to stab the cop. Cop shoots the guy.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Mamdani sides with the guy who tried to stab the cop.
- 10:27Speaker 4: I mean, you just can't make this stuff up. Go ahead,
- 10:29Speaker 4: play the tape.
- 10:31Speaker 9: It's not actually truthful. It's all about show and tell.
- 10:36Speaker 9: It's political theater. And he knows it. And hopefully the
- 10:40Speaker 9: public knows it.
- 10:42Speaker 4: That's Secretary Mullen. Again, slamming New York Governor Kathy Hochul
- 10:46Speaker 4: and Mayor Zora Mamdani. after these ICE agents shot a
- 10:50Speaker 4: suspect in New York City in front of a five-year-old, actually,
- 10:53Speaker 4: and the kid was in the backseat, again, unharmed, right?
- 10:58Speaker 4: This is the way it's being presented in the media.
- 11:01Speaker 4: I'm reading to you from NBC News. NBC News wants
- 11:03Speaker 4: you to take the position that how dare they, yet again,
- 11:07Speaker 4: ICE doing another bad thing, right? And listen, I get it.
- 11:12Speaker 4: I get it. I understand it's very easy to try
- 11:16Speaker 4: and constantly be woe is me and to never use
- 11:18Speaker 4: common sense. And it works like a charm. I tried
- 11:22Speaker 4: to correct somebody online the other day with what I
- 11:25Speaker 4: thought a very endearing comment, just saying, hey, look, I
- 11:28Speaker 4: think your work is great as an actor. My comment
- 11:32Speaker 4: was that, look, I think your work is great, but
- 11:36Speaker 4: I disagree with this. I don't embrace communism. Not exactly
- 11:39Speaker 4: those words, but that was the tone. And some of
- 11:42Speaker 4: the other users on there were commenting, saying, oh, here's
- 11:44Speaker 4: another sellout, another... Another one of those. And so I'm
- 11:48Speaker 4: a sellout because I don't embrace communism. I mean, that's
- 11:51Speaker 4: the level of rhetoric that they have. There is no
- 11:55Speaker 4: free thinking, right? And that's where Mamdani is. And that's
- 11:58Speaker 4: where a lot of people that support Mamdani are. If
- 12:01Speaker 4: you somehow support ICE, if, you know, doing their job,
- 12:06Speaker 4: federal law enforcement, this is, you're a bad human being.
- 12:11Speaker 4: These types of false dichotomies are what weak, minded people
- 12:18Speaker 4: fall for every single time, right? You'll hear me say
- 12:21Speaker 4: something like this. You either love America or you don't. Now,
- 12:26Speaker 4: I say this because I do believe it to be
- 12:29Speaker 4: factually true, but that in and of itself is a
- 12:33Speaker 4: false dichotomy, right? You could take me to task on
- 12:36Speaker 4: that and say, well, look, you know, I may not
- 12:38Speaker 4: love America, but I respect America. I'm here. I'm I
- 12:43Speaker 4: followed your immigration laws. I came here as an immigrant.
- 12:46Speaker 4: I've worked. I've paid my taxes while I was here.
- 12:48Speaker 4: I paid whatever fees I had to pay. And the
- 12:51Speaker 4: money I've earned while I was here, I sent back
- 12:53Speaker 4: home to my country to build a farm, to buy
- 12:56Speaker 4: my parents a home, to buy a car, to set
- 12:58Speaker 4: up a life for myself. Because it's going to be
- 13:01Speaker 4: a lot better for me to retire with a bunch
- 13:03Speaker 4: of money that I earned in America and save than
- 13:05Speaker 4: spend somewhere else where the cost of living is easier
- 13:09Speaker 4: than here. I won't say this person hates America. And
- 13:13Speaker 4: I don't think this person is an enemy of the
- 13:15Speaker 4: United States. I think that's a person that is doing
- 13:20Speaker 4: everything under the law. And that's their prerogative.
- 13:23Speaker 6: Right?
- 13:24Speaker 4: So I can't say that they hate America. But when
- 13:26Speaker 4: I say you either love America or you don't, I
- 13:29Speaker 4: still think I'm right.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Right?
- 13:31Speaker 4: Because you don't necessarily hate the country just because you
- 13:37Speaker 4: don't love it. And that's why I say it the
- 13:40Speaker 4: way I do. Because otherwise, people would label me the
- 13:44Speaker 4: way I label others, trying to pit people. You know,
- 13:47Speaker 4: either love America or you hate America. There's a reason
- 13:50Speaker 4: I don't say that, because I realize that there's an
- 13:52Speaker 4: in-between of people that are just not affected by this stuff.
- 13:55Speaker 4: They don't care that much, but they're following the rules.
- 13:59Speaker 4: So I guess I'll correct myself and say there wasn't
- 14:02Speaker 4: a false dichotomy to say that if you love America,
- 14:04Speaker 4: you don't. It would be more so if I said
- 14:07Speaker 4: either love America or you hate America. And there's a
- 14:10Speaker 4: lot of this going on online. And this is what
- 14:12Speaker 4: the communists use. That is their tactic. And it always
- 14:14Speaker 4: bothers me when I see it being used on our side, right?
- 14:19Speaker 4: The side of patriotism, the side of liberty, the side
- 14:21Speaker 4: of the constitution.
- 14:22Speaker 10: Why?
- 14:23Speaker 4: Because you've got really well-intentioned people telling me, look, you've
- 14:28Speaker 4: got crooked politicians out there. We can't have this. Yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 4: I agree that we shouldn't have this, that we can't
- 14:34Speaker 4: have it as a different thing. We have it. So
- 14:36Speaker 4: to say that we can't have it You make it
- 14:38Speaker 4: seem like this just started. No, you just realized it.
- 14:41Speaker 4: But it's always been there, right? The idea of political
- 14:44Speaker 4: corruption is so old, they had a name for it
- 14:47Speaker 4: back in the Roman Empire, dating back a couple of
- 14:50Speaker 4: thousand years. And the word for that, I did a
- 14:52Speaker 4: whole podcast on this years ago called, well, it's in
- 14:56Speaker 4: the podcast title, I believe, but the word is ambitus, A-M-B-I-T-U-S.
- 15:02Speaker 4: And that was the word for the political corruption that
- 15:05Speaker 4: was going on back in the early days of the
- 15:07Speaker 4: roman empire so we see that now i've got a
- 15:13Speaker 4: lot of people that wear the red maga hat that
- 15:16Speaker 4: love america they love their mom they love god and
- 15:19Speaker 4: they love apple pie but they'll say things like look
- 15:23Speaker 4: there's two types of americans the ones that can stay
- 15:26Speaker 4: and the ones that gotta go right kill them all
- 15:30Speaker 4: let god sort them out and These are funny bumper
- 15:33Speaker 4: sticker sayings, but they're not real and they don't work.
- 15:37Speaker 4: And you can't enforce them. You can make an idea
- 15:40Speaker 4: in your mind to say, all right, well, we're going
- 15:42Speaker 4: to assassinate. You know, that's what Tehran did, right? That's
- 15:45Speaker 4: what the IRGC did. They said, oh, these are the
- 15:48Speaker 4: people that are criticizing us? All right, kill them all.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Some estimates say 30,000, some say 50,000. They killed 50,000
- 15:54Speaker 4: people for not complying with the mullahs' orders. That's not
- 15:59Speaker 4: the America I live in. That's not the constitution I
- 16:01Speaker 4: believe in. That's not the Christianity I subscribe to. Punto
- 16:06Speaker 4: y final. This is a country that we live in
- 16:10Speaker 4: right now that has dealt with things like this before.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Whether it's political corruption, ideologies that are seeping in. I
- 16:19Speaker 4: don't know if you remember the Salem Witch Trials. And
- 16:22Speaker 4: I'll do more on this a little bit later, but
- 16:24Speaker 4: just to put it out there. The Salem Witch Trials...
- 16:29Speaker 4: were witches, right? These women were being charged for being
- 16:32Speaker 4: part of the Wiccan religion, so to speak, which is
- 16:37Speaker 4: legal in our country, right? Because we don't ban any religion.
- 16:43Speaker 4: And they were sentenced and whatever, and eventually this became
- 16:46Speaker 4: a thing where you can't prosecute witches anymore. I'm sure
- 16:50Speaker 4: people were up in arms about that at some point.
- 16:52Speaker 4: What do you mean we can't prosecute them? That's clearly wrong.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Use common sense.
- 16:55Speaker 7: Come on.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Come on, man. Right? But Ultimately, we don't really have
- 17:01Speaker 4: a witch problem today, or maybe we do, and it's
- 17:02Speaker 4: so rampant that they're blended into society and we can't
- 17:05Speaker 4: see it anymore. I'll concede that point to however way
- 17:10Speaker 4: you want to go on that. But some people say,
- 17:13Speaker 4: you know, Wiccans or Satanists or witches are incompatible with
- 17:21Speaker 4: the West, incompatible with the United States, incompatible with our society,
- 17:25Speaker 4: and you're probably right. But the argument to that would be,
- 17:30Speaker 4: That's your problem, right? They're incompatible to you because your constitution,
- 17:35Speaker 4: the one you uphold, says that I have a right
- 17:38Speaker 4: to be here. So we can't have it both ways.
- 17:44Speaker 4: That's why I always stick with the constitution. I'm not
- 17:47Speaker 4: going to sit here and start a campaign against Islam.
- 17:52Speaker 4: I will speak out against radical Islamists that have made
- 17:57Speaker 4: a militant radical movement out of their faith, where it's
- 18:04Speaker 4: no longer a faith movement, it's a political movement. And
- 18:07Speaker 4: that is a thing. And that's a perversion, in my opinion.
- 18:11Speaker 4: And I can speak out against Islamism, but I'm not
- 18:15Speaker 4: going to condemn everybody of a particular faith.
- 18:19Speaker 5: Why?
- 18:19Speaker 4: For many reasons. One being, I don't think it makes
- 18:21Speaker 4: logical sense. And two being, it's unconstitutional. It's never going
- 18:25Speaker 4: to happen.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Right?
- 18:27Speaker 4: Unless we get a two-thirds majority somewhere in Congress that says, hey, look,
- 18:31Speaker 4: The Constitution, it says we're allowed to have freedom of expression,
- 18:35Speaker 4: freedom of this, freedom of that. You can have freedom
- 18:38Speaker 4: for anything except for things that are incompatible with Western culture.
- 18:42Speaker 4: Except for yada, yada, yada. It doesn't say that. So
- 18:47Speaker 4: that's just misplaced ire, right? Misplaced anger. People need to
- 18:52Speaker 4: figure out how to solve their problems without saying, I
- 18:55Speaker 4: hate you and you've got to go. That's my opinion.
- 19:00Speaker 4: And Mullen's taking the right approach here on this one.
- 19:03Speaker 4: He's not taking the bait. He's not getting into any
- 19:06Speaker 4: of these things. He's taking it case by case. Look,
- 19:09Speaker 4: this guy is wanted for this and that. We think
- 19:12Speaker 4: he's no good because of this and that. And it's
- 19:15Speaker 4: wrong of you to want to set this guy free. Anyway,
- 19:18Speaker 4: we're going to take a pause right here. Councilwoman Vicky
- 19:21Speaker 4: Palladino is coming up next. After that, I believe we
- 19:24Speaker 4: got some words from Speaker Mike Johnson, who's also weighing
- 19:28Speaker 4: in on this. Plus, a couple of my final thoughts
- 19:31Speaker 4: before we wrap things up for the weekend. Keep it
- 19:33Speaker 4: locked right here on Rich Valdez.
- 19:35Speaker 5: This is America. This is America.
- 19:53Speaker 3: He's got the best head of hair in podcasting.
- 19:56Speaker 5: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 19:59Speaker 4: All right, familia, welcome back. It's Rich Valdez keeping you
- 20:01Speaker 4: company tonight. And a lot of stuff unfolding yesterday night.
- 20:05Speaker 4: There was a shooting ice following this guy that he's
- 20:08Speaker 4: on their worst list.
- 20:10Speaker 6: They get him, but guess what? He tries to get away.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Guy's running away in a gray Honda SUV, a CRV
- 20:16Speaker 4: to be exact. He hits two different cars, tries to
- 20:18Speaker 4: run over the ICE agents who then take aim with
- 20:20Speaker 4: an AR-15 or whatever long arm they were using.
- 20:23Speaker 6: They get him. They're able to get him. He doesn't die.
- 20:25Speaker 6: He's in custody.
- 20:26Speaker 4: Now they're framing it as the guy thought he was
- 20:28Speaker 4: getting away from other bad guys. You can't make this
- 20:31Speaker 4: stuff up. This stuff is wall-to-wall coverage here in New
- 20:33Speaker 4: York City. And with us to break it all down,
- 20:36Speaker 4: Councilwoman Vicki Palladino. Councilmember Palladino, welcome.
- 20:40Speaker 11: Thank you, Rich. Thanks for having me. Good to be here.
- 20:43Speaker 6: My pleasure.
- 20:45Speaker 4: So, you know, Vicky Palladino, I'm looking at this and
- 20:48Speaker 4: I think if we looked at every case in the
- 20:51Speaker 4: world of a bad guy trying to get away from
- 20:54Speaker 4: the cops and them saying, oh, I didn't know it
- 20:56Speaker 4: was the cops.
- 20:56Speaker 6: I thought they were trying to get me. I was afraid.
- 20:58Speaker 6: I was scared for my life.
- 21:00Speaker 4: I believe that's the story I've been hearing my whole life, right?
- 21:03Speaker 6: They always go, no, I thought they were coming to
- 21:04Speaker 6: get me. Do you buy it? Do you think this
- 21:07Speaker 6: is a viable defense?
- 21:10Speaker 11: No.
- 21:11Speaker 12: First of all, Look, what's going on in the Bronx
- 21:14Speaker 12: right now, the guy was a known gangbanger. And since
- 21:17Speaker 12: Biden opened the borders and we've allowed close to a
- 21:22Speaker 12: million people into New York City, most of these people
- 21:25Speaker 12: back in that day, which is about three years ago,
- 21:28Speaker 12: it's 2026 now, we allowed these gangbangers into our city.
- 21:34Speaker 11: They teamed up.
- 21:36Speaker 12: I can't pronounce the name of the gang this guy
- 21:38Speaker 12: is affiliated with.
- 21:40Speaker 6: Trinitarios.
- 21:42Speaker 11: There you go.
- 21:43Speaker 12: And them and MS-13 have been clashing now for years.
- 21:49Speaker 12: So they're both deadly gangs. They do not care who
- 21:53Speaker 12: they hit, who they kill. When they're going at each other,
- 21:57Speaker 12: it's open warfare on the streets.
- 21:59Speaker 4: You might remember, not to cut you off, but you
- 22:02Speaker 4: might remember a case where everybody was screaming justice for Junior,
- 22:05Speaker 4: a poor 15-year-old kid who ran into a bodega to
- 22:08Speaker 4: save his own life. It was this gang that did this,
- 22:12Speaker 4: and apparently it was mistaken identity. Junior had nothing to
- 22:14Speaker 4: do with it, and eventually those guys were all caught
- 22:17Speaker 4: and brought to justice.
- 22:19Speaker 6: But you're right. When you're talking about war on the street,
- 22:21Speaker 6: they go after kids. They go after anybody.
- 22:24Speaker 11: They don't care.
- 22:25Speaker 12: And one of the things I made mention of was
- 22:29Speaker 12: there was recently a shooting of a young child And
- 22:33Speaker 12: it's not the first time. It's several times. You mentioned Junior.
- 22:37Speaker 12: He's 15. But I'm going to go a little younger
- 22:39Speaker 12: than that. The two-year-old, that is, the mother was pushing
- 22:42Speaker 12: the baby in the carriage. And because of the war
- 22:45Speaker 12: that was going on, a random gunshot shot and killed
- 22:50Speaker 12: this young child, okay? This baby in a carriage. Not
- 22:53Speaker 12: the first time. And when certain reporters put to me, well,
- 22:58Speaker 12: you know, the people are afraid to leave their homes.
- 23:02Speaker 12: People are afraid to go to their local stores, send
- 23:05Speaker 12: their kids to school. The reason why they're afraid to
- 23:08Speaker 12: send their kids to school is not because of ICE.
- 23:11Speaker 12: And let me be very clear about that. And that's
- 23:13Speaker 12: what I told the reporter. Let me be very clear
- 23:15Speaker 12: about that. What they're afraid of is the random violence
- 23:19Speaker 12: that is so prominent in the borough of the Bronx.
- 23:24Speaker 12: So to see and to hear this last night, is
- 23:29Speaker 12: not unusual. This is the way they're going to go
- 23:31Speaker 12: about it. This guy knew he was wanted. He got
- 23:35Speaker 12: arrested the first time, I believe it was December of 2023.
- 23:39Speaker 11: He was arrested seven different times. He was deported.
- 23:43Speaker 12: He came back again, okay, to go back to the
- 23:46Speaker 12: life he had prior, not to make a better life
- 23:49Speaker 12: or to try to be a better person. No, he
- 23:52Speaker 12: was exactly the same gangbanger he was when he was
- 23:55Speaker 12: deported and came back. This guy knew he had a
- 23:58Speaker 12: five-year-old in the car. This guy knew when he crashed
- 24:02Speaker 12: into two different vehicles, okay, to try to escape the
- 24:06Speaker 12: ICE agents that he knows damn well is after him.
- 24:10Speaker 12: Everybody knows ICE is on the streets now in New York.
- 24:13Speaker 12: You know, Holman said it.
- 24:14Speaker 6: Apparently everybody's afraid of him.
- 24:16Speaker 11: Yeah, everybody's afraid, right? So you're afraid. What are you doing?
- 24:21Speaker 11: You surrender. You know, you're taught as.
- 24:25Speaker 12: A kid, whether you're white, black, green, blue, Hispanic, American,
- 24:30Speaker 12: I don't care what you are. You're told two hands
- 24:32Speaker 12: on the wheel. You stop and you see what's going on.
- 24:37Speaker 12: All of this could have been avoided if he would
- 24:41Speaker 12: have done the right thing. He chose not to. He
- 24:45Speaker 12: chose to escape. That old line about it could have
- 24:48Speaker 12: been the good guys after me, the bad guys after me.
- 24:51Speaker 11: I didn't know who it was, so I just took
- 24:53Speaker 11: off to save my own life. I don't believe that
- 24:56Speaker 11: for a minute. These are hardcore people.
- 24:58Speaker 12: These aren't people like you or me, Rich, who did
- 25:02Speaker 12: something wrong and.
- 25:04Speaker 11: The cops want them. This is totally different. Apples and oranges.
- 25:09Speaker 6: Yeah, 100%.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen, Secretary of Homeland Security, saying that
- 25:14Speaker 4: there is a– one of the reasons this man is wanted,
- 25:17Speaker 4: this Oscar Belgal, is because he's wanted in the questioning
- 25:22Speaker 4: of a shooting of an off-duty ICE agent who got
- 25:25Speaker 4: shot in the throat last fall.
- 25:27Speaker 6: I don't know if you remember that. I remember it
- 25:29Speaker 6: like yesterday.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Happened to be interviewing Curtis Sliwa in studio, and that
- 25:32Speaker 4: was the story we were talking about. And they met
- 25:35Speaker 4: their match because he was armed and he shot back.
- 25:38Speaker 4: And it was just wild to see these guys pull
- 25:40Speaker 4: up on the moped and try to, you know, do
- 25:42Speaker 4: them in. So interesting to see that this might be
- 25:46Speaker 4: full circle.
- 25:47Speaker 6: Your thoughts?
- 25:48Speaker 12: Well, my thoughts are good. You know, I believe that
- 25:52Speaker 12: I should be here. And I was also asked that question.
- 25:57Speaker 12: ICE belongs here. We've got a really we've got such
- 26:01Speaker 12: unrest in this city. And then you have the mayor
- 26:04Speaker 12: of the city of New York, Zoran, coming out. and
- 26:07Speaker 12: condemning ICE in the worst possible way. And what he's
- 26:11Speaker 12: doing is he's flaming the flames of hatred. Then you
- 26:16Speaker 12: had the Bronx borough president who came out on the steps.
- 26:19Speaker 12: I don't know if you saw her, but man, oh man,
- 26:23Speaker 12: that F word was flying out of her mouth. Get
- 26:27Speaker 12: the F off my block. Get the F out of
- 26:29Speaker 12: my borough. You don't effing belong here. It was like,
- 26:33Speaker 12: who talks like that? When you want to try to
- 26:36Speaker 12: contain a serious problem. And again, gangbangers, you don't speak
- 26:43Speaker 12: like that because all you're doing is empowering the bad guys.
- 26:47Speaker 11: To continue to do more bad things.
- 26:51Speaker 12: In turn, you are then giving ice or laying in
- 26:56Speaker 12: ice's feet to react the way they need to react
- 27:01Speaker 12: to the actions that are being put To them. Like
- 27:05Speaker 12: you said, this guy, the ICE agent that got shot
- 27:07Speaker 12: in the neck. You're not giving the ICE agents any
- 27:11Speaker 12: other choice but to react in the way they need
- 27:14Speaker 12: to react.
- 27:15Speaker 11: It's not good. It's bad.
- 27:17Speaker 6: I agree that it's bad.
- 27:18Speaker 4: And you mentioned the mayor, Zoran Mamdani, saying that he's
- 27:21Speaker 4: here to defend New Yorkers.
- 27:23Speaker 6: And he doesn't want ICE in New York City.
- 27:25Speaker 4: And I'm thinking, what better way to defend New Yorkers
- 27:28Speaker 4: than to get the bad guys off the streets? It's
- 27:30Speaker 4: not like this guy was the pastor of the local church, right?
- 27:32Speaker 4: And I don't want to make him guilty before he's
- 27:34Speaker 4: been to court, but he has been arrested multiple times
- 27:37Speaker 4: on drug charges, gun charges.
- 27:39Speaker 6: He was a wanted man with an ICE detainer.
- 27:41Speaker 4: The only reason he was free to do this was
- 27:44Speaker 4: because they wouldn't hand him over the NYPD wouldn't hand
- 27:47Speaker 4: him over to ICE. So it makes you wonder, why
- 27:50Speaker 4: is the mayor doubling down in the name of safety
- 27:53Speaker 4: for New Yorkers when the real threat to safety in
- 27:55Speaker 4: New York are guys like Oscar Belgan?
- 27:58Speaker 12: Well, because he's DSA. This is a police abolitionist. We
- 28:02Speaker 12: elected a police abolitionist. You know, he's trying to make
- 28:06Speaker 12: a few... turns in his road to try to appear
- 28:10Speaker 12: to be more moderate. But let's get down to brass
- 28:12Speaker 12: tacks on who Zoran Mondani is. Zoran Mondani and his
- 28:16Speaker 12: administration do not believe in law enforcement. This is the
- 28:20Speaker 12: same Zoran Mondani who is going to close Rikers Island
- 28:24Speaker 12: with the help of Kathy Hochul, upstate New York, in
- 28:28Speaker 12: just a year from now. They are saying 2027. So 2027,
- 28:33Speaker 12: next year, you and I might be having a conversation
- 28:36Speaker 12: about the closing of Rikers Island, even though their so-called
- 28:39Speaker 12: neighborhood jails are nowhere near ready to house what's in
- 28:48Speaker 12: Rikers right now, which is the absolute worst of the worst.
- 28:53Speaker 12: This is something that we need to see through a
- 28:55Speaker 12: very clear lens. This is somebody who, so long as
- 29:00Speaker 12: they're protecting him, and they did, if you remember, the
- 29:03Speaker 12: night before, or was it the same evening that this
- 29:08Speaker 12: guy got shot last night, when he stood with the
- 29:11Speaker 12: Jews on October 7th?
- 29:13Speaker 6: The night before, right. He showed up for the vigil.
- 29:16Speaker 11: Okay, and he stood up, and did you see his face?
- 29:19Speaker 11: He was miserable.
- 29:21Speaker 12: No dimples that night, okay, when he stood with the Jews,
- 29:25Speaker 12: but the very same day, Ten minutes later, when he
- 29:28Speaker 12: was done, first of all, the police protected him beautifully.
- 29:31Speaker 12: From the time he stepped out of his car, protected
- 29:34Speaker 12: him against his own Palestinian Islamic terrorist beast.
- 29:40Speaker 11: That voted for him.
- 29:41Speaker 5: Right.
- 29:42Speaker 11: Okay. His base got upset.
- 29:44Speaker 12: But right after that, he went to a Palestinian restaurant,
- 29:47Speaker 12: you know, from the river to the sea is on
- 29:49Speaker 12: the menu. So, you know, this guy cannot have it
- 29:52Speaker 12: both ways. So last night it gave him the opportunity
- 29:57Speaker 12: to once again, play to his base and, that got
- 30:00Speaker 12: him elected on how he hates ICE and how, you know,
- 30:04Speaker 12: Mullen did.
- 30:04Speaker 11: A fantastic job.
- 30:06Speaker 12: 40 minutes he was on, 40 minutes. He took this
- 30:10Speaker 12: apart from start A, from the beginning, right through to
- 30:15Speaker 12: the end to Z.
- 30:17Speaker 11: He dissected this whole thing.
- 30:19Speaker 12: The fact that this guy is a thug, and he
- 30:22Speaker 12: kept saying a thug, and that we cannot get law
- 30:26Speaker 12: enforcement involved to actually do their job here in the
- 30:30Speaker 12: city of New York.
- 30:32Speaker 11: Because they can't. The police are tied up.
- 30:35Speaker 12: And if they were able to, ICE would not have
- 30:38Speaker 12: to do what ICE is doing because the police would
- 30:42Speaker 12: just hand them over, as they should do.
- 30:45Speaker 11: But let's double back.
- 30:47Speaker 12: The way Mullen took this apart was beautiful. Like, there
- 30:53Speaker 12: should be absolutely no questions to this. He did a
- 30:57Speaker 12: fantastic job. They did their job, and he laid it
- 31:01Speaker 12: all out there. The problem is, and it will always be, Rich,
- 31:06Speaker 12: the media blackout.
- 31:09Speaker 11: They will not cover Mullen.
- 31:12Speaker 12: They will not cover the conversation that Mullen had with Zoran,
- 31:17Speaker 12: the President of the United States, Kathy Hochul, and Zoran Mandani.
- 31:23Speaker 11: Four of them on a phone call.
- 31:25Speaker 12: And none of that will be discussed under the right light,
- 31:31Speaker 12: where people could actually learn. Because you've got to understand,
- 31:35Speaker 12: average folks are listening to Channel 2, Channel 4, Channel 7,
- 31:40Speaker 12: and Channel 11, and New York 1. And then we
- 31:43Speaker 12: could go into our cable. They're not listening to normal
- 31:47Speaker 12: folks like us. Give it to them in a very straight, logical,
- 31:53Speaker 12: common sense way. Because I think if common sense people
- 31:57Speaker 12: actually listen to why this happened and why it can
- 32:02Speaker 12: continue to happen, it's because of A, B, and C
- 32:07Speaker 12: of the New York City administration being Zoran at the head,
- 32:11Speaker 12: Kathy Hochul being the head of the state.
- 32:14Speaker 11: And they're never going to get the truth so long
- 32:17Speaker 11: as they tune into the mainstream media, which is choosing
- 32:21Speaker 11: to black this all out.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Yeah, 100 percent. Amigos, we're on with Vicky Palladino, council
- 32:25Speaker 4: member from Queens, New York, District 19. You mentioned all
- 32:29Speaker 4: these meetings and the mayor being on the phone with
- 32:31Speaker 4: the president and with the secretary. And you yourself have
- 32:34Speaker 4: been rather tied up with all of this stuff between
- 32:37Speaker 4: media events and dealing with your constituents and other city business.
- 32:41Speaker 4: I can't remember the last time that shooting a bad
- 32:43Speaker 4: guy caused this type of stir in New York City.
- 32:46Speaker 4: Do you notice that it seems to be like an
- 32:48Speaker 4: event on steroids?
- 32:49Speaker 11: Oh, yes, absolutely.
- 32:51Speaker 12: You know, think of Daniel Penny, who took down that
- 32:54Speaker 12: maniac on the train and they tried to prosecute him
- 32:58Speaker 12: and they did prosecute him. But of course, he was
- 33:01Speaker 12: let off not guilty. We have, what's his name? Thank
- 33:05Speaker 12: God is right. Thank you to Tom Kniff for that
- 33:09Speaker 12: and his law firm. Also, the other, what the heck
- 33:14Speaker 12: was it? I'm trying to think that they had also
- 33:17Speaker 12: Louis Mangione. They made him into a hero.
- 33:20Speaker 6: He's a hero for killing the United Healthcare CEO. Right.
- 33:23Speaker 12: CEO, point blank, back of the head. They turned him
- 33:27Speaker 12: into a hero. What does this tell you? This tells
- 33:30Speaker 12: you we're in dire need of change. And I'm going
- 33:33Speaker 12: to change in leadership. And I don't know if you
- 33:36Speaker 12: saw the Saritha against A.G.
- 33:40Speaker 11: James last night, the debate.
- 33:42Speaker 6: Yeah, I caught a couple of clips of that, and
- 33:43Speaker 6: I think she cooked her.
- 33:45Speaker 11: She cooked her. Saritha was so on her game.
- 33:50Speaker 12: So here the people of New York have got a
- 33:53Speaker 12: golden opportunity here because this is all about prosecution and prosecuting.
- 33:59Speaker 12: and getting the job done. New York does not want
- 34:03Speaker 12: to prosecute. They don't want a real prosecutor. We have
- 34:06Speaker 12: an opportunity to elect Saritha. I cannot say her last name.
- 34:10Speaker 12: I'm sorry, but she is fantastic. We've got Bruce Blakeman
- 34:14Speaker 12: coming up for governor. We've got to think long and hard, folks,
- 34:19Speaker 12: about what we want to do. Do we really want
- 34:21Speaker 12: the change that we need in order to fix these problems?
- 34:25Speaker 12: Or do we want to continue down the path that
- 34:29Speaker 12: we're on? Because if Hochul wins, if Hochul wins this go-around,
- 34:35Speaker 12: Zoe Mandani will be empowered.
- 34:38Speaker 11: She will be even more so empowered.
- 34:41Speaker 12: And now you get someone like Saritha who could actually
- 34:45Speaker 12: be a prosecutor and prosecute. Imagine, we could actually flip
- 34:50Speaker 12: things around. We could flip things around. And yet, are
- 34:54Speaker 12: we going.
- 34:55Speaker 11: To do that?
- 34:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I hope so. Now, Vicki, you're talking about debates.
- 34:58Speaker 4: We got a debate for Blakeman coming up next week.
- 35:01Speaker 4: We also have a debate that occurred in Michigan with
- 35:05Speaker 4: Abdul El-Sayed and Congressman Mike Rogers. And let me tell you,
- 35:11Speaker 4: I think the congressman did a phenomenal job. He really
- 35:14Speaker 4: knocked it out of the park because El-Sayed is like
- 35:16Speaker 4: a soundbite machine. And he's very good on TV. He's
- 35:19Speaker 4: almost like a Zoran Mamdani, but not quite. I think
- 35:22Speaker 4: he didn't deliver. He didn't connect the punches in this debate.
- 35:26Speaker 4: Your thoughts from what you saw?
- 35:27Speaker 11: From what I saw, he floundered and fell flat.
- 35:30Speaker 5: You're right.
- 35:31Speaker 12: The congressman did what he needed to do. Look, whenever
- 35:34Speaker 12: you're in a debate with the likes of a Zoran
- 35:38Speaker 12: Mamdani and a Son Piker-led individual that you have in Saeed,
- 35:43Speaker 12: whatever his name is, When you have these people, you've
- 35:46Speaker 12: got to realize you must take off the gloves and
- 35:50Speaker 12: you must be ready to go full throttle, one to
- 35:53Speaker 12: the right, one to the left, and knock them out.
- 35:55Speaker 12: Because these people think, for some strange reason, that they
- 35:59Speaker 12: have got it over the barrel. They're going to win.
- 36:02Speaker 12: They've got it. Well, you know what? If you're willing
- 36:05Speaker 12: to put up the fight, and do what it takes.
- 36:08Speaker 12: And we are now ready, because we are not ready
- 36:11Speaker 12: to surrender our Constitution. We are not ready to surrender
- 36:15Speaker 12: our Supreme Justices when they try to stack the Supreme Court.
- 36:21Speaker 12: They've got a whole agenda planned. They've got it planned.
- 36:25Speaker 12: We're just taking apart New York. We need to look
- 36:28Speaker 12: at the country on a whole. Then you've got this
- 36:30Speaker 12: nut job in Texas, okay, whatever his name is. Yeah, Telerico,
- 36:36Speaker 12: another beaut. You've got him. You know, don't be afraid.
- 36:41Speaker 12: Anybody who's going to run for office, do what you
- 36:43Speaker 12: need to do. Take these people down and pull out
- 36:48Speaker 12: the points that need to be put out. Because you
- 36:51Speaker 12: made a good point, Rich, when you said he's not
- 36:53Speaker 12: real bright, okay? He's led by Hasan Paika. Have you
- 36:58Speaker 12: ever seen Hasan Paika in any kind of anything other
- 37:01Speaker 12: than behind his keyboard?
- 37:04Speaker 5: No.
- 37:04Speaker 11: Why?
- 37:05Speaker 12: Because he's scared stiff. And he may come across like
- 37:09Speaker 12: he's not. But you put him up against any hardcore
- 37:12Speaker 12: person that knows what the hell they're talking about, and
- 37:16Speaker 12: you will see Hasan Piker really crumble and fall. I
- 37:20Speaker 12: wish I had him in my sights for five minutes.
- 37:26Speaker 6: Maybe you should.
- 37:27Speaker 4: Find him and challenge him on the street like you
- 37:29Speaker 4: did with de Blasio.
- 37:30Speaker 11: I'm still dying to meet my mayor. Why doesn't Zoran
- 37:35Speaker 11: want to meet Vicky Palladino? All right. You got an
- 37:38Speaker 11: open invitation, Zoran.
- 37:39Speaker 12: I think he's heard about you. He tried to get
- 37:43Speaker 12: me thrown off council.
- 37:45Speaker 11: Okay.
- 37:46Speaker 12: So why not have a meeting with Vicky Palladino, Zoran?
- 37:49Speaker 12: Let's sit around a table. Let's try to hash it
- 37:52Speaker 12: out fact by fact by fact. And let me ask
- 37:55Speaker 12: you a few questions as to why.
- 37:57Speaker 7: Why?
- 37:58Speaker 11: And answer.
- 37:58Speaker 4: I love it.
- 37:59Speaker 5: Outstanding.
- 37:59Speaker 6: Outstanding.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Councilwoman Vicki Palladino, let everybody know how they can find
- 38:03Speaker 4: you online, how they can support what you're doing if
- 38:05Speaker 4: they want to learn more.
- 38:07Speaker 12: Well, the best way to find me would be for
- 38:10Speaker 12: the older folks, Facebook. You can find me on Facebook
- 38:15Speaker 12: and or Twitter. On Facebook, it's Vicki Palladino for NYC.
- 38:22Speaker 12: I also have, of course, my council member page, but
- 38:24Speaker 12: you will not see or hear any of this on
- 38:27Speaker 12: my council member pages, because you have to follow very
- 38:31Speaker 12: strict rules. On my political pages, which is Vicki Palladino
- 38:35Speaker 12: for NYC, Facebook, Vicki for NYC on Instagram, or the
- 38:41Speaker 12: best place to find Vicki Palladino is the Honorable Vicki
- 38:47Speaker 12: Palladino on Twitter.
- 38:50Speaker 11: Follow me on Twitter.
- 38:51Speaker 6: I follow. You should too.
- 38:53Speaker 11: There you go. And that's where you will see this.
- 38:56Speaker 6: Outstanding.
- 38:57Speaker 4: Councilwoman Vicki Palladino, I want to thank you for being here.
- 39:00Speaker 4: You're a gentlewoman, a scholar, and a patriot. Godspeed to you.
- 39:04Speaker 11: Same to you, Rich. I love you. Thank you.
- 39:06Speaker 6: Love you too.
- 39:07Speaker 4: All right, familia, keep it locked right here. We're coming
- 39:09Speaker 4: right back. More to come straight ahead. What Speaker Mike
- 39:11Speaker 4: Johnson had to say about this. Some of your thoughts, calls,
- 39:14Speaker 4: and opinions from comments that are on social media to
- 39:17Speaker 4: everything else. Plus, I got a couple other things up
- 39:19Speaker 4: my sleeve. Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
- 39:21Speaker 5: This is America. This is America. Mr.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Call Screener, who is a budding radio starbud, Richie Valdez
- 39:51Speaker 4: is terrific. With programs like America at Night with Rich
- 39:56Speaker 4: Valdez and Donald Trump as a guest, who's going to
- 39:58Speaker 4: watch late-night TV?
- 39:59Speaker 7: Come on.
- 39:59Speaker 8: Who would want to? I want to listen to you, Rich,
- 40:02Speaker 8: all the time.
- 40:08Speaker 5: Richie V.
- 40:08Speaker 8: I want to thank you. People need to know you're
- 40:10Speaker 8: not only a great call screener, you're even a better broadcaster.
- 40:18Speaker 6: President Donald J.
- 40:18Speaker 4: Trump, Mr. President, welcome to the program, sir.
- 40:21Speaker 8: Well, thank you, Rich, and thank you for everything. I
- 40:24Speaker 8: know you very well, and I listen, but I have
- 40:27Speaker 8: a lot of people that listen.
- 40:28Speaker 3: And they love your show, and I appreciate it very much.
- 40:35Speaker 4: All right, familia, that was nice. So, welcome back. We
- 40:38Speaker 4: continue the conversation. Now, Speaker Mike Johnson getting in on
- 40:41Speaker 4: this ICE shooting in New York as well. And you
- 40:44Speaker 4: would suspect that he has... Just common sense things to say,
- 40:49Speaker 4: and you'd be right. Listen to this.
- 40:50Speaker 7: Blue Dog Democrats, the conservative Democrats who used to know,
- 40:53Speaker 7: they believed in God and country. They believed in the
- 40:55Speaker 7: founding principles of America. They believed in faith and freedom
- 40:58Speaker 7: and all these things. The free market. Those ideals are
- 41:01Speaker 7: now held in disdain by the Democrat Party. I'm telling you,
- 41:05Speaker 7: the insurgent left is taking over the Democrat Party. This
- 41:08Speaker 7: radical Marxist communist ideology.
- 41:11Speaker 6: Is consuming them.
- 41:12Speaker 7: And the party that we knew is.
- 41:14Speaker 5: No longer going to exist.
- 41:15Speaker 7: And this new Congress... in the next two years, four
- 41:18Speaker 7: years and beyond. We're not going to be having the
- 41:19Speaker 7: old traditional arguments about, oh, marginal tax rates or shades
- 41:23Speaker 7: of difference in foreign policy or regulation. We're going to
- 41:26Speaker 7: be arguing about whether or not we're going to keep
- 41:27Speaker 7: the greatest nation in the history of the world, keep
- 41:29Speaker 7: the republic, or break it down to the rubble and
- 41:33Speaker 7: rebuild it in the vein of this communist utopia. That
- 41:36Speaker 7: is a dangerous fool's error, and it's never worked. Karl
- 41:39Speaker 7: Marx used to use socialism and communism interchangeably.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Because if you remember from.
- 41:43Speaker 7: History, he thought socialism was a step to get to
- 41:47Speaker 7: communism that they thought was the utopia of the perfect society,
- 41:50Speaker 7: it never works. It begins with all the opposite premises.
- 41:54Speaker 6: It's anti-American.
- 41:55Speaker 7: We started a website a few weeks ago, contrastforamerica.com, and
- 41:59Speaker 7: we summarize in two pages why communism has failed every
- 42:02Speaker 7: single time. Socialism, Marxism, all of it together. It leads
- 42:05Speaker 7: to human suffering, famine, poverty for everybody, and death. Communism
- 42:09Speaker 7: has been the reason that millions, tens of millions of
- 42:12Speaker 7: innocent people were murdered in the 20th century alone. That
- 42:15Speaker 7: is anti-American.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Anti-American is right. And what's fascinating about all this to
- 42:21Speaker 4: me is you've got a lot of people asking questions
- 42:24Speaker 4: about this, right? This isn't what it used to be
- 42:26Speaker 4: where people were like, oh, I don't know what's going on.
- 42:28Speaker 4: This doesn't make sense to me. No, no, no, no. No,
- 42:32Speaker 4: now we have African-American voters that are saying, you know what? No,
- 42:36Speaker 4: I'm not buying this. This doesn't make sense to me.
- 42:39Speaker 4: You've got all sorts of voters that are going against
- 42:41Speaker 4: the grain. Hispanic voters, right?
- 42:43Speaker 6: White voters, too.
- 42:44Speaker 7: Right.
- 42:44Speaker 4: Let's not just sadly, I think for the white voters,
- 42:46Speaker 4: they're going further to the left lately. They're all becoming
- 42:49Speaker 4: Bernie bros. They're all becoming these, you know, all men
- 42:52Speaker 4: are dangerous type of, you know, this new age leftist thinking.
- 42:57Speaker 4: But it's good to see that some people still have brains. Right.
- 43:01Speaker 4: Common sense, not this emotionally driven.
- 43:05Speaker 6: I hate men.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Yada, yada, yada. Listen to this.
- 43:10Speaker 10: Oh, well, looky here. Y'all always want to talk about
- 43:13Speaker 10: how Republicans are racist. And I'm like, oh, well, these
- 43:15Speaker 10: new age Republicans ain't the same.
- 43:17Speaker 4: I ain't trying to hear all that.
- 43:18Speaker 10: Because the Democrats never changed. I don't know why y'all
- 43:20Speaker 10: think there was a switch. That don't even make sense.
- 43:23Speaker 10: But anyways, check this out. Because I got proof. So
- 43:26Speaker 10: y'all can hear it from the horse's mouth.
- 43:28Speaker 4: We had all kinds of ways to keep black people
- 43:31Speaker 4: from voting.
- 43:33Speaker 11: We had poll taxes.
- 43:34Speaker 3: I want to ask you who we is. And in particular,
- 43:37Speaker 3: what party... Was it that implemented poll taxes in the South?
- 43:41Speaker 3: I'm pretty confident it was mostly the Democrats.
- 43:43Speaker 5: Shocker.
- 43:45Speaker 3: And what party was it that put literacy tests in
- 43:47Speaker 3: place in the South? Same answer, mostly the Democrats. What
- 43:50Speaker 3: party were the founders of the Ku Klux Klan from?
- 43:54Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure that was the Democrats.
- 43:56Speaker 6: Don't look at me.
- 43:56Speaker 3: That's your party. Indeed. In fact, Nathan Bedford Forrest, the
- 44:00Speaker 3: founder of the Klan, was a delegate to the 1860
- 44:03Speaker 3: Democrat National Convention. What party wrote the Jim Crow laws
- 44:07Speaker 3: in the South?
- 44:08Speaker 5: The Democrats.
- 44:09Speaker 4: Oh, this just keeps getting worse.
- 44:10Speaker 10: I mean, what racist thing haven't y'all done?
- 44:13Speaker 3: The first Republican president. Abraham Lincoln. The Republican Party was
- 44:17Speaker 3: literally founded to oppose slavery. We came into existence because
- 44:23Speaker 3: slavery was a grotesque evil. And it was President Lincoln,
- 44:27Speaker 3: the first Republican president, who signed the amendment.
- 44:30Speaker 10: Yeah, I can finish it from here. He was the
- 44:32Speaker 10: first Republican president that signed the Emancipation Proclamation that freed.
- 44:36Speaker 4: All the slaves.
- 44:38Speaker 10: I'm tired of y'all talking.
- 44:39Speaker 11: About all Republicans is racist.
- 44:40Speaker 10: Know your history. This is why I be looking at
- 44:42Speaker 10: y'all black people in here like, is you stupid?
- 44:44Speaker 13: Is you dumb?
- 44:46Speaker 10: You gotta be dumb because ain't no way that just
- 44:50Speaker 10: lets you know black people couldn't have freed themselves without
- 44:54Speaker 10: the help of some white people we were outnumbered okay
- 44:58Speaker 10: so y'all cannot sit up here and try to get
- 44:59Speaker 10: reparations from every white person that you see walking down
- 45:03Speaker 10: the street because you feel like the ancestors had something
- 45:05Speaker 10: to do with your your ancestors enslavement because we've never
- 45:08Speaker 10: been slaves i don't know what that feels like i
- 45:11Speaker 10: live a great happy life That's why I can get
- 45:13Speaker 10: up on here and talk about this stuff. And with
- 45:15Speaker 10: happiness comes knowledge, education, understanding. Try to understand some shit, okay?
- 45:22Speaker 10: Y'all just out here looking ignorant, bro. And y'all can
- 45:24Speaker 10: feel how y'all want to feel, okay? And I'm going
- 45:26Speaker 10: to be on here again clutching my pearls because I
- 45:28Speaker 10: got me some more. And I bet you they won't
- 45:30Speaker 10: break because they sturdy, okay? They sturdy. Anyways, you guys,
- 45:34Speaker 10: y'all stay beautiful, stay blessed, and stay prosperous. And if
- 45:37Speaker 10: you want truth like only Bougie can do, make sure
- 45:39Speaker 10: you hit that follow button because why not? And if
- 45:41Speaker 10: you want to join the conversation, leave a comment below, okay?
- 45:45Speaker 10: I will be glad to indulge you, okay? Anyways, you guys,
- 45:48Speaker 10: your girl is out.
- 45:52Speaker 4: All right, that's a clip from ItsBougieBrat on Instagram. You
- 45:55Speaker 4: can follow her at ItsBougieBrat. I follow her. I think
- 45:59Speaker 4: she's really funny. And she makes a lot of sense, right?
- 46:03Speaker 4: She's what we're all supposed to be in this business,
- 46:05Speaker 4: entertaining and informative. But how about that? A couple of
- 46:09Speaker 4: truth bombs. And again, most of you guys listening to
- 46:11Speaker 4: this show, you've heard this stuff a million times, but
- 46:14Speaker 4: you didn't always hear it on Instagram. That's for sure, right?
- 46:16Speaker 4: From a black woman with dreadlocks. So I think we're
- 46:20Speaker 4: making some gains. It doesn't mean we're out of the
- 46:25Speaker 4: water just yet. I think we're still in the deep
- 46:28Speaker 4: end looking for that life preserver. We're not across the
- 46:31Speaker 4: finish line just yet with this midterm because they're making
- 46:35Speaker 4: gains too, right? If I had to put money on it,
- 46:38Speaker 4: I would say that it's going to be a very
- 46:40Speaker 4: tight race in Michigan. It's not going to be a
- 46:42Speaker 4: slam dunk. You would think that a guy who's hanging
- 46:45Speaker 4: out with a guy that says 9-11 was something America
- 46:48Speaker 4: deserved would not win. But meanwhile, this Dr. Abdul El-Sayed,
- 46:56Speaker 4: he's doing all right. Now, Congressman Mike Rogers, does he
- 47:01Speaker 4: have what it takes? Absolutely. Did he nail him in
- 47:05Speaker 4: that debate? Hell yeah. He did a great job. And
- 47:09Speaker 4: my suspicion is that he'll continue to do a good job,
- 47:12Speaker 4: at least ride those numbers, because we're ending the first
- 47:18Speaker 4: week in October. You got three weeks left till Election Day.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Might be enough. May not. I don't know. We'll see.
- 47:26Speaker 4: I think it's going to be tight. I think El-Sayed
- 47:28Speaker 4: has charisma. He's got some money. I think Mike Rogers
- 47:32Speaker 4: has a bunch of campaigns under his belt, and he's
- 47:35Speaker 4: way smarter. Anyway. Let us move on. Now, keeping this
- 47:41Speaker 4: same vein or the same line of thinking, I was
- 47:46Speaker 4: at the Puerto Rican parade not that long ago and
- 47:51Speaker 4: met a couple of really great people, a lot of
- 47:54Speaker 4: really good people. One of the individuals I met was
- 47:57Speaker 4: a girl named Marion Richards, or was it Richardson? She's terrific,
- 48:02Speaker 4: by the way. Forgive me for not saying her name right.
- 48:05Speaker 4: And she was, uh, there with, uh, Kathy Hernandez, Kathy
- 48:09Speaker 4: talk on Instagram and at a Bruce Blakeman event. And
- 48:13Speaker 4: she was, uh, really articulate, really cute, very nice girl,
- 48:16Speaker 4: great personality. And I really enjoyed it. Well, I saw
- 48:19Speaker 4: a video of her recently debating a guy named Brian Shapiro.
- 48:23Speaker 4: He's a big lefty. This is on, uh, the, the Sean,
- 48:27Speaker 4: I mean, not mess up his name, Sean, Michael Kelly show. And, um,
- 48:33Speaker 4: It was great. I thought it was a really good exchange.
- 48:35Speaker 4: I wanted you to hear it because, again, they were
- 48:37Speaker 4: discussing that topic again of black Americans, which I think
- 48:41Speaker 4: people tend to misunderstand, at least in my estimation. Go ahead.
- 48:46Speaker 1: In 1960, I'm just asking you some very basic questions
- 48:48Speaker 1: because that's when you would define America being great. So
- 48:51Speaker 1: it was America.
- 48:51Speaker 3: Let me just finish.
- 48:52Speaker 6: Was America great?
- 48:54Speaker 1: When black people weren't even allowed to use the same
- 48:56Speaker 1: fountains as white people, that when they had to sit
- 48:58Speaker 1: in the back of buses, and when women weren't allowed
- 49:00Speaker 1: to vote, that would be a time in history where
- 49:03Speaker 1: you think America was great?
- 49:04Speaker 13: Okay, so can we be clear about what we're about
- 49:07Speaker 13: to say? What you're suggesting is that because I acknowledge
- 49:10Speaker 13: that we had a stronger family unit in that time,
- 49:13Speaker 13: because we had a stronger likelihood for people to start
- 49:16Speaker 13: small businesses and be community centered. You're suggesting that that
- 49:19Speaker 13: means that I think we should regress on our civil agreements, right?
- 49:24Speaker 13: I'm not suggesting that. I'm not suggesting that. that black
- 49:26Speaker 13: people should not be allowed into spaces that you're allowed in.
- 49:29Speaker 13: I'm not suggesting that women should not be allowed to vote.
- 49:31Speaker 13: What I'm suggesting is that we had a time in
- 49:33Speaker 13: this country before there was a huge push of feminism,
- 49:37Speaker 13: before there was a huge push for sexual liberation, et cetera,
- 49:40Speaker 13: where we had two-parent households at much higher rates. From
- 49:43Speaker 13: my remembering, we had something around 75% two-parent households up until.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Yeah, the divorce rate is up, I agree, as a whole.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Black people are much better off now than they were
- 49:52Speaker 1: in that time frame. And when we talk about segregation
- 49:55Speaker 1: and the civil rights movement and Martin Luther King Jr.
- 49:57Speaker 13: What's much better off?
- 49:58Speaker 1: Okay, I think black people are much better off now
- 50:01Speaker 1: than they were in the early 1900s. So we're better off.
- 50:04Speaker 13: With higher incarceration rates than we had back then. We're
- 50:06Speaker 13: better off with higher drug uses. We're better off with
- 50:08Speaker 13: higher fatherless homes.
- 50:09Speaker 3: I'll respond to that.
- 50:10Speaker 13: We're better off with more black people relying on government assistance.
- 50:13Speaker 1: So it's not just black people. It's America as a whole.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You specify black people. Well, because, first of all, you
- 50:19Speaker 1: can talk about black people in poverty, and you can
- 50:22Speaker 1: talk about the unemployment numbers, and you can talk about incarceration.
- 50:24Speaker 1: We can talk about all those things.
- 50:26Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 50:26Speaker 1: But yes, I would still say regardless of those numbers,
- 50:30Speaker 1: Black people were not treated as human beings.
- 50:33Speaker 13: When we're talking about great, when we're talking about better,
- 50:36Speaker 13: what frustrates me is that you're going to lean on
- 50:38Speaker 13: money as the equivalent of being better. But my community
- 50:42Speaker 13: is broken because of Democratic policies. Telling us, OK, if
- 50:46Speaker 13: you want to be a part of our society, if
- 50:48Speaker 13: you want to have a spot at the front of
- 50:50Speaker 13: the bus, you also have to rely on daddy government to.
- 50:52Speaker 6: Give you that.
- 50:53Speaker 13: If you want to join the white man's university, because
- 50:56Speaker 13: get it, don't get it twisted. We had black universities
- 50:58Speaker 13: and the reason we created them is because of because
- 51:01Speaker 13: of segregation. And we were actually stronger because of that.
- 51:03Speaker 13: We had black owned businesses in black communities. neighborhoods, in
- 51:08Speaker 13: black communities. Redlining was bad, but it also forced us
- 51:11Speaker 13: to stay together. When we were not allowed to spend
- 51:14Speaker 13: our money at your companies, we bought things from our
- 51:18Speaker 13: own small businesses. So again, I am not suggesting that
- 51:21Speaker 13: desegregation or the fusing of our different economies or our
- 51:25Speaker 13: different communities was a bad thing overall, but I'm saying
- 51:28Speaker 13: that it came along with a deterioration of the black community.
- 51:33Speaker 13: And I would like to see the black community go
- 51:35Speaker 13: back to being a family-focused, Christ-focused community that does not
- 51:40Speaker 13: lean on the government for its entire livelihood.
- 51:44Speaker 4: Outstanding. This, for me, is the truth about any community.
- 51:49Speaker 4: I don't care if it's black or not. They're framing
- 51:51Speaker 4: it that way because they love to do that because
- 51:53Speaker 4: a lot of individuals want to glom onto race as
- 51:57Speaker 4: the reason for the victimhood, but the victimhood, you can
- 52:02Speaker 4: use it any way you want. This is the same
- 52:03Speaker 4: case in Puerto Rico, right? In Puerto Rico, people are
- 52:05Speaker 4: all because of the United States, because the United States
- 52:08Speaker 4: pours millions, billions and billions of dollars a year into
- 52:12Speaker 4: Puerto Rico. They blame the United States for everything. Now
- 52:15Speaker 4: I'm not going to say the United States is not
- 52:16Speaker 4: to blame for certain things, right? Just for an example,
- 52:19Speaker 4: try and eat a Puerto Rican avocado. You can't, unless
- 52:23Speaker 4: you go to Puerto Rico, you can't get one here.
- 52:25Speaker 5: Why?
- 52:25Speaker 4: Because the United States, um, The Department of Agriculture, they
- 52:31Speaker 4: don't allow it. There are rules against it. You can
- 52:35Speaker 4: get an avocado from the Dominican Republic. You can get
- 52:37Speaker 4: one from Mexico. But you can't get one from Puerto Rico,
- 52:40Speaker 4: which is a U.S. territory. Talk about America first. So
- 52:43Speaker 4: I understand how these debates are formed. And the reality
- 52:46Speaker 4: is there's right and wrong or there's true and false
- 52:50Speaker 4: in a lot of these statements. But by and large,
- 52:52Speaker 4: what Marion's talking about here, she's nailing it on the head.
- 52:56Speaker 4: I mean, that's exactly correct. Can't deny it. Anyway, if
- 53:01Speaker 4: you want to follow her, she's at hashtag underscore Marion,
- 53:04Speaker 4: M-A-R-I-E-N on Instagram. And this to me is the crux
- 53:10Speaker 4: of this. There's always this, oh, we're a lot better
- 53:13Speaker 4: off because of FDR. She made so many good points.
- 53:16Speaker 4: The black nuclear family was a thing. Blacks used to
- 53:19Speaker 4: get married at a higher rate than they do today.
- 53:23Speaker 4: The family unit has suffered. Under these Democrat policies, under
- 53:28Speaker 4: these FDR policies, under the New Deal, social welfare, what
- 53:34Speaker 4: it was designed to help, it's hurt. We have housing
- 53:37Speaker 4: projects that instead of helping people get a hand up,
- 53:40Speaker 4: it's made it a permanent handout. And it doesn't matter
- 53:44Speaker 4: who lives there, right? You've got black people living there.
- 53:46Speaker 4: You've got white people living there. You've got Hispanics living there. Now,
- 53:49Speaker 4: I can't say I've seen a bunch of Asians. I
- 53:51Speaker 4: have not seen a bunch of Asians living in housing projects.
- 53:55Speaker 4: But this isn't a race thing. My point is, it's
- 53:58Speaker 4: about the subjugation of people. It's about FAAX, the road
- 54:03Speaker 4: to serfdom, this permanent serfdom that we create, this permanent
- 54:08Speaker 4: underclass that the government needs so they have a reason
- 54:12Speaker 4: to subsist. For many years, I've said, it's not the
- 54:15Speaker 4: government's job to be your daddy. And she said something
- 54:17Speaker 4: to that effect as well, going to big daddy government.
- 54:20Speaker 4: She's right.
- 54:21Speaker 5: 100% right.
- 54:22Speaker 4: This is To me, the crux of the matter, liberty
- 54:27Speaker 4: is king. It's paramount because it truly allows us the
- 54:30Speaker 4: most freedom to do anything. The ability to earn a
- 54:34Speaker 4: living and say, hey, I'm going to go buy a
- 54:35Speaker 4: house or I'm going to go open a business or
- 54:37Speaker 4: I'm going to go do whatever it is I want
- 54:38Speaker 4: to do because I have the money to do it.
- 54:41Speaker 4: When you're not able to make money because you don't
- 54:44Speaker 4: own that business, that business is now part of the collective, right?
- 54:49Speaker 4: Workers of the world united, Evita Peron. All that crazy nonsense,
- 54:53Speaker 4: that Marxist BS, that gets in the way. It stifles
- 54:57Speaker 4: and strangles any type of growth that an individual can have.
- 55:01Speaker 4: And you need to lift that one individual so they
- 55:03Speaker 4: can lift their family out of poverty. If that one
- 55:06Speaker 4: person never gets their bodega, never gets their barbershop, never
- 55:09Speaker 4: gets whatever type of business they're into, they don't get
- 55:13Speaker 4: to the next level. And you never get to create
- 55:16Speaker 4: generational wealth. So keep that in mind. Anyway, keep it
- 55:19Speaker 4: locked right here. Coming right back with a preview of
- 55:20Speaker 4: what's coming up on Monday. Don't go anywhere.
- 55:23Speaker 5: This is America. This is America. He's making podcasting great again.
- 55:48Speaker 5: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 55:55Speaker 4: All right, familia, welcome back. Rich Valdez, keeping you company, America.
- 55:58Speaker 4: And I want to get into one final topic before
- 56:02Speaker 4: I get into... What was I going to get into? Well,
- 56:07Speaker 4: as I'm drawing a blank, I'll preface what's coming up
- 56:12Speaker 4: in the next show because... On Monday, we're going to
- 56:16Speaker 4: get into a few things. Jeff Bezos recently was doing
- 56:18Speaker 4: an interview with Brett Baier from the Fox News Channel,
- 56:23Speaker 4: and he talked about the rise of socialism. So I'm
- 56:25Speaker 4: going to talk about socialism. We're going to talk a
- 56:26Speaker 4: little bit about what's going on with Marco Rubio lately.
- 56:28Speaker 4: I'm a big fan of Marco Rubio. We're also going
- 56:31Speaker 4: to talk about some of the crazy Lindsay Clancy-esque cases
- 56:37Speaker 4: that are going on and have been going on. And
- 56:39Speaker 4: I know we talked a little bit about that on
- 56:41Speaker 4: Tuesday and, excuse me, Wednesday and Thursday. But We'll do
- 56:44Speaker 4: a little more of that because they keep happening, right?
- 56:46Speaker 4: I mean, it's just so sad about the amount of
- 56:48Speaker 4: moms that are harming their own children. But in addition
- 56:53Speaker 4: to all that, there is a experiment that I did
- 56:58Speaker 4: the other day. I went up to my daughter. She's 21.
- 57:00Speaker 4: I have two, but the big one's in Virginia, making
- 57:03Speaker 4: her life, making her family, doing what she does. And
- 57:06Speaker 4: I went to my younger daughter and I said, hey,
- 57:12Speaker 4: what would you want to listen to on a show
- 57:14Speaker 4: like mine? And I braced myself for impact, waiting for
- 57:17Speaker 4: her to say, I'm not going to listen to a
- 57:19Speaker 4: show like yours. But she didn't say that. She just
- 57:22Speaker 4: looked at me and her look said it all. And
- 57:24Speaker 4: she said, well, maybe, she said, talk about like everything
- 57:28Speaker 4: that's online because online there's only one story. And I said, well,
- 57:31Speaker 4: what are you talking about? She said, well, like online,
- 57:34Speaker 4: everything is Trump is bad and everything that you believe
- 57:39Speaker 4: in is bad. That's what she told me. And I said,
- 57:42Speaker 4: what do you mean? She said, well, for example, she said,
- 57:44Speaker 4: there's a girl, this cheerleader that got beat up by
- 57:48Speaker 4: a cop. And I saw that video. I just happened
- 57:50Speaker 4: to have seen the one she was talking about. And
- 57:53Speaker 4: the police report, again, there's a video and then there's
- 57:56Speaker 4: a police report and they're not consistent. In the video,
- 57:59Speaker 4: this girl is mouthing off to a cop and she's
- 58:01Speaker 4: like over his shoulder, hovering over him while he's trying
- 58:03Speaker 4: to lock up, I guess her boyfriend or her friend. And,
- 58:06Speaker 4: you know, this is like outside of a bar somewhere
- 58:08Speaker 4: in some college town or something like that. And She's
- 58:12Speaker 4: in his face and he tells her, get away, get away,
- 58:14Speaker 4: get away, back up, back up, back up. She doesn't.
- 58:17Speaker 4: So he uses, you know, he's like leaned over this guy.
- 58:20Speaker 4: He just looks in her direction, uses his left hand
- 58:22Speaker 4: and he shoves her three, four, five feet. She moves back.
- 58:25Speaker 4: He goes back to locking her up. Then she gets
- 58:27Speaker 4: back at him in his face. And I can't tell
- 58:29Speaker 4: what happens in that moment. But the next thing you know,
- 58:32Speaker 4: he's tackling her and he's locking her up. Now in
- 58:35Speaker 4: that tussle, I don't know if she hits him or
- 58:37Speaker 4: not because you can't really make it all out. The
- 58:40Speaker 4: police report says that she struck him, at which point
- 58:44Speaker 4: then he used more force to do it. It's not
- 58:48Speaker 4: a great video, right? It really isn't. Could the cop
- 58:51Speaker 4: be guilty of excessive force? Yeah, potentially. Does it look
- 58:55Speaker 4: like that to me? No, it doesn't. It looks to
- 58:58Speaker 4: me like they were arguing near a bike rack. When
- 59:01Speaker 4: he pushed her, she fell over into the bike rack.
- 59:04Speaker 4: She tripped on it, which made it look a lot
- 59:05Speaker 4: worse than it was and probably you know, got her
- 59:07Speaker 4: scratched up a little bit. And I wouldn't want that
- 59:09Speaker 4: for my kid. But again, if she's going to get
- 59:11Speaker 4: in a cop's face, that's what she's going to get,
- 59:13Speaker 4: whether she's my kid or not. And this wasn't my kid, right?
- 59:15Speaker 4: But my point is, I try to always look at
- 59:18Speaker 4: these things like, well, what if it was your kid? Anyway,
- 59:21Speaker 4: bottom line, she tells me stuff like that, you know,
- 59:23Speaker 4: just maybe give your side of the story on things.
- 59:25Speaker 4: And I explained how, you know, there's all this propaganda
- 59:28Speaker 4: out there that's anti-ICE and They make stuff up. And
- 59:31Speaker 4: she said, and the other thing she's like, you know,
- 59:33Speaker 4: it's not really not politics, but she's like, you know,
- 59:35Speaker 4: Marvel has a new movie and she was just recently
- 59:37Speaker 4: dressed as Spider-Man for the, for the release of the
- 59:42Speaker 4: Spider-Man Phil, the theatrical release. And that just happened a
- 59:46Speaker 4: couple of days ago. I think on the 6th or
- 59:48Speaker 4: the 7th of October, they released Spider-Man on streaming the
- 59:51Speaker 4: brand new day film. And I thought, yeah, maybe it'd
- 59:55Speaker 4: be nice if I interviewed somebody from Marvel. So I,
- 59:59Speaker 4: In the Spider-Man series, there is a character named Bane.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: And the creator of Bane from Marvel Comics, guy who's
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: worked with Stan Lee and so many others, he's going
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: to be joining me on Monday. So keep it locked
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: right here for that. That's going to be a really
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: fun interview. Plus, we're going to talk about all the
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: other things that are going on in the world, updates
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: on everything else. And, you know, if it's going on
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: in America, we're talking about it. And I always leave
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: you with the following. You got to stand for something
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: because if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: And the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: for good people like you to sit there and do nothing.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: So make sure you do something. Hasta la proxima. Take care,
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: good night, and God bless you, America. I'm Rich Valdez,
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: and this is America.
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: This is America.
