- 0:02Speaker 1: Pays variety big ninety eight point seven. It's gave an
- 0:04Speaker 1: Angie foggy now sunshine later with a high of seventy nine. Oh,
- 0:11Speaker 1: that song brings back memories. Hell yeah, what would your
- 0:14Speaker 1: signature drink be made of?
- 0:16Speaker 2: If you had one?
- 0:17Speaker 1: And the reason I want to know this morning is
- 0:19Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelcey.
- 0:22Speaker 2: They have a new restaurant.
- 0:23Speaker 1: It's called fifteen eighty seven, which is just based obviously
- 0:26Speaker 1: their football numbers.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Oh I didn't know that.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Yeah, fifteen eighty seven Prime Steakhouse, and it's gonna have
- 0:31Speaker 1: specialty cocktails. Two of them will honor the football players
- 0:36Speaker 1: Travis and Patrick, and then they will have two more
- 0:39Speaker 1: that honor Britney Mahomes and Taylor Swift.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Oh that makes sense.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Now, I will say, out of all of these drinks,
- 0:47Speaker 1: if you could guess who's gonna have the most complicated,
- 0:51Speaker 1: wordy drink, who would it be?
- 0:53Speaker 3: Taylor?
- 0:54Speaker 1: Of course it's Taylor. Taylor's drink will be called the Alchemy, Okay,
- 0:58Speaker 1: And there are words in this that I don't know
- 1:00Speaker 1: how to say. The Alchemy is going to feature lime,
- 1:05Speaker 1: ou lung, oh, strawberry cranberry vodka, and Pierre Ferdinand dry.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Quarkow oh cairousol.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Thank you? What about Aronia Berry that drink? I had
- 1:22Speaker 2: no idea what Sorry, hit the wrong button. I had
- 1:25Speaker 2: no idea what that is.
- 1:27Speaker 1: The restaurant comes open up here in September, which is
- 1:30Speaker 1: the same day as Patrick mahomes birthday, So I guess
- 1:35Speaker 1: I don't even know where I would start with my
- 1:36Speaker 1: own signature drink and probably be some fall bush light
- 1:39Speaker 1: kind of thing.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Oh you know what, when I it was my birthday
- 1:42Speaker 4: twenty twelve, and I thought, for my birthday, I want
- 1:45Speaker 4: to have a signature drink. And I thought about it
- 1:47Speaker 4: so much that I went to bed, had a dream,
- 1:50Speaker 4: woke up and it was that my signature drink was
- 1:53Speaker 4: called a vodka newspaper. But really, yeah, but I have
- 1:57Speaker 4: no idea what was in it? I think, you know
- 1:59Speaker 4: what will be at Unhinged tomorrow for happy Hour.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Maybe I'll ask.
- 2:03Speaker 4: The bartender, what would you come up with if it
- 2:06Speaker 4: was called a vodka newspaper?
- 2:08Speaker 3: We have Jay on the phone.
- 2:10Speaker 5: My signature drink would be a sex on the beest.
- 2:14Speaker 5: But it would be like blue blue, Yeah, it would
- 2:19Speaker 5: be like blue and purple.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I like this.
- 2:21Speaker 4: I like this is there a name for your sex
- 2:23Speaker 4: on the beach now that it's modified in color.
- 2:25Speaker 3: It would be a j on the bee Okay, I
- 2:29Speaker 3: like that.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Mine would more more likely be like Gabe on
- 2:32Speaker 1: the Couch Saates Variety, Big ninety eight point seven. It's
- 2:38Speaker 1: Gabe and Angie. We've got sunshine and a high of
- 2:41Speaker 1: seventy nine. I don't know what it is about that song,
- 2:44Speaker 1: but it the end, the fade out at the end. Yes,
- 2:47Speaker 1: this is very you know, nerdy radio talk for you here,
- 2:49Speaker 1: but it just takes forever.
- 2:50Speaker 3: To ever ever.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I feel like I can say what up? But anyway,
- 2:55Speaker 1: good morning. We have sunshine today and a high of
- 2:59Speaker 1: seventy nine. Ang and I do what's that where you
- 3:02Speaker 1: practice every morning gratitude? We practice gratitude every single day
- 3:07Speaker 1: here on Big ninety eight point seven. We take small things,
- 3:10Speaker 1: big things, and we share the positive impacts that they
- 3:14Speaker 1: had on our day yesterday. It could be something as
- 3:16Speaker 1: simple as you know what, you found three bucks in
- 3:20Speaker 1: your pocket.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Literally that happened to Gabe Ones and it was the
- 3:23Speaker 4: highlight of the day.
- 3:24Speaker 1: It was incredible. Yes, it's awesome and we love hearing
- 3:27Speaker 1: those from you. At seven oh one two eight zero
- 3:29Speaker 1: one nine eight seven. There's nothing like starting the day
- 3:32Speaker 1: off on a good foot with little victories.
- 3:37Speaker 4: I was super excited yesterday because Mikey, my dear sweet boyfriend,
- 3:43Speaker 4: is a teacher, a retired teacher, but he does sub
- 3:46Speaker 4: jobs from time to time, and he's got a laminator,
- 3:50Speaker 4: which I think is the coolest contraption in the land.
- 3:54Speaker 1: You know, a laminator is so fire when you have it.
- 3:57Speaker 1: But yes, no one ever remembers or things to grab
- 3:59Speaker 1: one exactly.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Well, we busted out the old laminator yesterday and me
- 4:05Speaker 4: and the kids had designed our own bookmarks, and so
- 4:10Speaker 4: yesterday we laminated them and cut them out. And I'm
- 4:14Speaker 4: very excited about my bookmark, which is a burrito.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Aiden is taking a.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Class web in graphics class at school, and so they're
- 4:23Speaker 4: using photoshops.
- 4:24Speaker 3: So he photoshopped me together a really.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Cool burrito full picture, and so I colored it and
- 4:32Speaker 4: we laminated it, and so now I've got a burrito bookmark,
- 4:35Speaker 4: and that is the highlights of my life right now day.
- 4:38Speaker 1: That's very nice, a burrito bookmark from your fourteen year
- 4:41Speaker 1: old son.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Yes, all sweet, is that? Do you know? My little victory?
- 4:46Speaker 3: No, I don't, please tell me.
- 4:49Speaker 1: My little victory is so little that it's almost not
- 4:52Speaker 1: worth sharing, but I will share it.
- 4:53Speaker 2: You know what I did yesterday when I got home?
- 4:55Speaker 2: What nothing?
- 4:58Speaker 4: I mean?
- 4:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that beautiful.
- 5:00Speaker 1: We didn't have to, you know, clean the litter boxes yesterday.
- 5:04Speaker 1: We didn't have to do any dishes, we didn't have
- 5:08Speaker 1: to do any vacuuming. We Cory got home, she sat
- 5:11Speaker 1: down on her sofa. I sat down on the other
- 5:14Speaker 1: part of the sofa, her sofa like I don't also
- 5:17Speaker 1: have it, and we did nothing.
- 5:20Speaker 2: I think she went to bed at like seven thirty.
- 5:22Speaker 3: That's the most beautiful thing.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It was the laziest Tuesday I've probably ever had in
- 5:28Speaker 1: my life. Good, it was wonderful. I feel just so
- 5:31Speaker 1: awake and recharged today.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I love this for you.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I'm jealous of you, and hopefully I can just do
- 5:37Speaker 4: nothing today.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Oh I have kids.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Fine, there is a documentary that Angie and I are
- 5:47Speaker 1: both looking forward to checking out.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I believe it's on Netflix.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Yes, it drops today.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yes, it's for Charlie Sheen, who had these like strangest
- 5:59Speaker 1: media rick rise and fall at the exact same time
- 6:03Speaker 1: because he was everywhere. No press is bad press, but
- 6:06Speaker 1: you could say he was the one guy who probably had.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Some bad press.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I had a lot of bad press.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Tiger Blood winning, appearing to be on drugs and interviews. Yeah,
- 6:17Speaker 1: just a very interesting life. And I'm looking forward to
- 6:19Speaker 1: checking out this documentary. I think Angieu is too. He
- 6:23Speaker 1: has said nothing is off limits in this doc so
- 6:27Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to check that out. So he's been
- 6:29Speaker 1: doing a lot of press for it, a lot of promo.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Well.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Charlie Sheen claims there was an insult from a sex
- 6:37Speaker 1: worker that has stuck with him forever. This insult actually
- 6:40Speaker 1: caused him to get lipe po suction. You know, is
- 6:44Speaker 1: horrible and mean and it's you know, sad that that
- 6:47Speaker 1: kind of stuck with him.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Yeah, but that kind of got me thinking, is there an.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Insult that you heard once in your life that to
- 6:54Speaker 1: this day you still remember When I was younger and
- 6:57Speaker 1: we were just like joking around. He wasn't serious, but
- 6:59Speaker 1: I'm my dad once told me, well, you know, a kid,
- 7:02Speaker 1: I've heard worse or I've heard better from worse, And
- 7:06Speaker 1: I'm thinking, going, okay, so the insult wasn't that great? Yeah,
- 7:09Speaker 1: and from better people. I'm failing in this. Uh, joke
- 7:14Speaker 1: contest that we're having, you know, or I've heard worse
- 7:17Speaker 1: from bet, worse from better. Yeah, something to this day
- 7:19Speaker 1: that I'll use if someone's you know, hating on me
- 7:22Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:23Speaker 3: I like that.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It's just such a quick off the tongue thing to say. See,
- 7:26Speaker 1: I wish that was mine.
- 7:28Speaker 5: Uh.
- 7:28Speaker 4: The second you asked me, I was taken back to
- 7:31Speaker 4: sophomore year of high school and I was very insecure
- 7:35Speaker 4: about my body because I was a fifteen year old girl.
- 7:39Speaker 4: And I feel like at that age, we all, you know,
- 7:41Speaker 4: your bodies are changing and there's things going on, and
- 7:45Speaker 4: you're like feeling away right. Well, one glorious day, me
- 7:49Speaker 4: and my friend Christina decided to ditch school. And who
- 7:54Speaker 4: also was ditching school that day The most popular guy
- 7:57Speaker 4: in school, Cutie Patuti James ha lead in all the plays,
- 8:02Speaker 4: quarterback of the football team. And he had a car
- 8:05Speaker 4: and he saw us walking and he said, hey, do
- 8:07Speaker 4: you guys want to get in and let's get subway
- 8:10Speaker 4: And we were like, what, oh my gosh, yes of course,
- 8:15Speaker 4: So we hop into his car, we get subway. He's like,
- 8:18Speaker 4: my grandma's not home, we can hang out at my house.
- 8:21Speaker 3: We go to his house.
- 8:23Speaker 4: We're just hanging out, and I noticed he's like staring
- 8:27Speaker 4: at me, and I look at him, and he says.
- 8:31Speaker 3: You look like a bodybuilder.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Oh no, he did.
- 8:35Speaker 4: And I thought, oh, okay, so I should pass away
- 8:39Speaker 4: right now.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I was mortified.
- 8:44Speaker 4: But the way he said it like it was just
- 8:46Speaker 4: a genuine observation for him.
- 8:48Speaker 3: I don't even think he meant it mean.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Trying to look like a bodybuilder. Maybe he's trying to
- 8:54Speaker 1: be complimentary, like, oh, you're in shape.
- 8:56Speaker 4: No, because as a fifteen year old girl, the last
- 8:59Speaker 4: thing you want here is you look like a bodybuilder.
- 9:02Speaker 4: At that point, I realized, Okay, I don't think James
- 9:05Speaker 4: Hollis is gonna ask me to homecoming.
- 9:07Speaker 3: But that has stuck with me.
- 9:09Speaker 4: And what that was fifteen, I'm almost twenty three years ago,
- 9:13Speaker 4: and I will never forget it.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Wow, we do have Amelia on the phone. Amelia, what's
- 9:19Speaker 1: an insult that's stuck with you?
- 9:20Speaker 5: Someone once told me I looked tired even when I
- 9:23Speaker 5: was fully rested.
- 9:25Speaker 3: It was years ago. Every time I catch my reflection,
- 9:28Speaker 3: I can still hear it.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Echo.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Why do I feel like that is? I feel like
- 9:32Speaker 1: that's an insult? That only women here. No one ever
- 9:36Speaker 1: once has been like, oh, you know, Gabe, you look
- 9:37Speaker 1: real tired today.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Oh that's so funny, because Gabe, you look real tired today.
- 9:48Speaker 3: You know who was.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Not cool this summer? Literally yesterday?
- 9:52Speaker 2: Me?
- 9:53Speaker 4: So what happened was there's a park like by our house,
- 9:56Speaker 4: and we play frisbee by there.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Yeah, and then the.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Frizz be you know, flies through the air as a
- 10:01Speaker 4: frisbee does, and then it landed in a spot where
- 10:04Speaker 4: I had to.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Go downhill to get it.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Sure, and so they're waiting for me, the kiddos and
- 10:10Speaker 4: Mike are waiting for me to grab it.
- 10:12Speaker 3: And as I'm going down this little slope.
- 10:14Speaker 4: To get the frisbee, I realize I look so stupid
- 10:20Speaker 4: right now, Like I You're.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Just one of those where you become very self aware
- 10:24Speaker 2: of a Yes, I was.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Very aware of what my body looked like. And then
- 10:27Speaker 4: I thought, I don't know that there ever is a
- 10:30Speaker 4: way for someone to look cool going downward, like a
- 10:35Speaker 4: downward slope. There's no way because it's just an awkward
- 10:39Speaker 4: thing to walk. And so yeah, you never look cool
- 10:43Speaker 4: going downward on a slope.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Ever, it's tough to walk downhill with like swagger.
- 10:48Speaker 3: No, yeah, it doesn't exist. You just look goofy.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:51Speaker 4: And that had me thinking, like, what are other things
- 10:54Speaker 4: that you just it's impossible to look cool doing. Do
- 10:57Speaker 4: you have something like that you when you do it,
- 10:59Speaker 4: you're like, I look.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Like a loser.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 11:02Speaker 1: There's nothing, in my opinion, worse than let's say you
- 11:06Speaker 1: like take your phone out of your pocket and like
- 11:08Speaker 1: a couple dollars fall on the ground.
- 11:10Speaker 3: M hm.
- 11:10Speaker 1: And we live in Fargo and where it's windy. Yes,
- 11:14Speaker 1: if those things start even blowing a little bit down
- 11:17Speaker 1: the street, I almost am willing to just sacrifice the
- 11:20Speaker 1: two dollars. There's no way to track down your your.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Cat, oh yeah.
- 11:26Speaker 2: And not kind of look like an idiot.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Yeah you look goofy.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I'll just take the loss. Yeah, well yeah it's a
- 11:33Speaker 1: big bill, then I might go get it.
- 11:35Speaker 3: The other thing I think is like, no one looks
- 11:38Speaker 3: cool drinking from a straw.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Yeah, guy or girl, like you're talking whatever, and then
- 11:43Speaker 4: it's like, wait, let me purse my lips and out
- 11:47Speaker 4: of that, Like you cannot look cool drinking from a straw,
- 11:49Speaker 4: It's impossible.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Or if you're digging, like digging around for it and
- 11:52Speaker 1: you miss, oh my gosh, that's embarrassing, And that happens.
- 11:56Speaker 3: To me at restaurants all the time.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Seven one eighth one nine eight Evan, what's something that
- 12:01Speaker 4: it's just impossible to look cool while you're doing it? Gabe,
- 12:06Speaker 4: I think that in the same vein, Like if you're
- 12:10Speaker 4: crossing the street, Oh yeah, and then the light's about
- 12:13Speaker 4: to turn and you kind of have to shuffle your way.
- 12:16Speaker 4: You got to pick the yeah, embarrassing. And then when
- 12:20Speaker 4: someone holds the door open for you and you have
- 12:23Speaker 4: to do that awkward shuffle of gratitude because you're not
- 12:26Speaker 4: close enough to the door to just like walk in,
- 12:29Speaker 4: but you don't want to make the person hold the
- 12:30Speaker 4: door for too long, so you do that little pick
- 12:33Speaker 4: up the pace in your stet Like you never look cool,
- 12:36Speaker 4: it's always embarrassing.
- 12:37Speaker 2: It is funny.
- 12:37Speaker 1: A lot of these have to do with awkwardly walking quick,
- 12:40Speaker 1: trying to track down money, cross the street, going down
- 12:42Speaker 1: a hill, you know.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Super hard to look cool doing if you're like going
- 12:46Speaker 1: downstairs that aren't your standard you know, twelve inches regular step.
- 12:51Speaker 1: If they're like, I don't know, two feet three feet,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you have to do the awkward like long stretch off
- 12:58Speaker 1: the gosh, got to take two steps.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Well the other thing with stairs for me, and I
- 13:04Speaker 4: don't know how people do this?
- 13:05Speaker 3: Can you do this? I cannot go downstairs without looking
- 13:09Speaker 3: down at the start.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I have to look I have.
- 13:11Speaker 3: To look down.
- 13:12Speaker 4: So gosh, if someone ever sees the pair of us
- 13:14Speaker 4: walking downstairs, we look like real fools, the fools of big.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Ninety eight points. This is sorry, not sorry.
- 13:26Speaker 4: We say the thing you're thinking, but are too polite
- 13:29Speaker 4: to say. We die on the hill of controversial opinion.
- 13:32Speaker 4: So you don't have to, Gabe. I think there's something
- 13:35Speaker 4: eating you up inside. Are you ready to let it out?
- 13:40Speaker 1: Quit liking your own posts on social media? Okay, Angie,
- 13:45Speaker 1: there's this old saying about people who assume right. When
- 13:50Speaker 1: you assume, you make an ass out of you and me.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Do you know the.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Only time I can one hundred percent confidently assume something
- 14:00Speaker 1: when you post a photo of you and your sweet
- 14:02Speaker 1: family on the internet. Mm hmm, I can safely one
- 14:05Speaker 1: hundred percent assume you like the damn photo, all right?
- 14:10Speaker 1: I just imagine, like you're sitting at work, your phone
- 14:12Speaker 1: goes off. It's like, oh, someone like my Facebook post.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Oh wait, it was me.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that's I agree with you.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I just don't get it why people do this, all right,
- 14:21Speaker 1: you already liked it, that's why you posted it. Liking
- 14:24Speaker 1: your own post is basically the Internet version of giving
- 14:28Speaker 1: yourself a standing ovation. Okay, it's like high fiving yourself
- 14:33Speaker 1: in public, or laughing really hard at your own jokes
- 14:36Speaker 1: that everyone did that everyone feels.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Obligated to do the old pity chuckle.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Oh my, So listen, all right, if you need that
- 14:44Speaker 1: much validation, just call your mom. She likes everything you
- 14:48Speaker 1: do already, I guaranteed it, and a bonus. She'll probably
- 14:51Speaker 1: share that news with her Bridge club.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Okay, oh my gosh, I agree with you wholeheartedly, except
- 14:58Speaker 4: for I do be laughing at my own jokes.
- 15:01Speaker 3: I want to laugh right now.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Pretty guilty of that too. If you won yourself the
- 15:09Speaker 1: power Ball, I don't want to know what you would buy,
- 15:13Speaker 1: you know, because everyone always says I pay off the
- 15:15Speaker 1: bills that help my fanis YadA, YadA, YadA, which is great,
- 15:19Speaker 1: that's wonderful. But if you did win the power Ball
- 15:22Speaker 1: and could just quit your job, right, you didn't have
- 15:24Speaker 1: to worry about money obviously. Yeah, and you just have
- 15:27Speaker 1: all this extra free time? What would you do with it?
- 15:30Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 15:34Speaker 1: If you can quit your job today because you want it,
- 15:36Speaker 1: how would you fill those eight hours a day?
- 15:39Speaker 2: What would you do?
- 15:40Speaker 4: I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but I
- 15:43Speaker 4: would make out with my boyfriend, like I would just
- 15:46Speaker 4: you just have more make it make out, yeah, because
- 15:49Speaker 4: we've got the kiddos and so they're at school right
- 15:54Speaker 4: and then but I'm at work and he's at work,
- 15:56Speaker 4: and there's like the small window of time where we
- 16:00Speaker 4: can fit in all the things we want to do
- 16:03Speaker 4: before they get home.
- 16:05Speaker 3: I hate you, Gabe, And one.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Of the things my favorite thing on the planet are
- 16:10Speaker 4: you making out like teenagers?
- 16:11Speaker 3: That's my favorite thing. And so if I had free.
- 16:14Speaker 4: Time, me and Mikey would just be making out like
- 16:17Speaker 4: teenagers for hours while the kids were at school.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I love how you didn't let me push through.
- 16:22Speaker 3: No, of course not.
- 16:23Speaker 4: I can't stand you. What would you do if you
- 16:27Speaker 4: have What would you do with your free time?
- 16:28Speaker 1: It sounds so boring and like it's such a pathetic answer,
- 16:32Speaker 1: but you know what I really do. I would just
- 16:34Speaker 1: play outside with my dog more Oh. I would just
- 16:38Speaker 1: hang our with my dog at the park across the
- 16:41Speaker 1: street and just go for walks more often.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I would literally just chill with her during the day.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Now, why'd you have to go and be so wholesome?
- 16:51Speaker 4: I'm over here, like i'd make you out and you're like,
- 16:54Speaker 4: I'm a nice guy, and I would play with my dog. Oh.
- 16:58Speaker 1: We do have Trisha on the phone. Tricia, what are
- 17:00Speaker 1: you doing with free time? If you want all that money?
- 17:02Speaker 5: If I could quit my job, I would finally slow down,
- 17:05Speaker 5: just travel a bit, take long walks in the morning,
- 17:07Speaker 5: maybe even learn pottery you're painting. Basically, I would fill
- 17:10Speaker 5: my days with things that make me curious instead of
- 17:13Speaker 5: things that drain me.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Travel is a great answer, obviously if you won the
- 17:18Speaker 1: power ball.
- 17:18Speaker 2: But I love pottery. That's so cool.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Something with your brain that's like creative or artistic, even
- 17:25Speaker 1: dog water at it.
- 17:26Speaker 4: No, I'm opposite. I'm not trying to learn a new skill.
- 17:29Speaker 4: I got money now, Yeah, Austin, what about you?
- 17:34Speaker 5: I would travel.
- 17:35Speaker 2: There's just so much world out there, and I would
- 17:37Speaker 2: love to see all of it in so many different
- 17:40Speaker 2: countries and cultures. You got to get out there and
- 17:43Speaker 2: experience different things.
- 17:44Speaker 1: You know what I want so bad is if someone's
- 17:46Speaker 1: like I want the power ball. You know what I
- 17:48Speaker 1: want someone to say just one time, like I'd sit
- 17:50Speaker 1: at home, Okay. No one ever says I'd just go
- 17:53Speaker 1: to my couch okay.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Because though I will say people, oh, I think I'm
- 17:58Speaker 4: in the minority. Everyone's like, I would travel more. I
- 18:01Speaker 4: don't think I would. I don't think I would because
- 18:05Speaker 4: that means you still have to like get on an
- 18:07Speaker 4: airplane and hassle.
- 18:09Speaker 3: It's still hassle.
- 18:10Speaker 4: And then I'm like, well, why don't you just take
- 18:13Speaker 4: a private plane? No, because I always think those are
- 18:15Speaker 4: going to crash. So like it's just like I'm not,
- 18:17Speaker 4: I am going to stay home.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Football is back one of the most exciting week ones
- 18:26Speaker 1: that I can remember.
- 18:28Speaker 2: And what do a lot of people love about football season?
- 18:31Speaker 1: Well A cheering on their team, watching the games, you
- 18:33Speaker 1: enjoying food, going to the game at a bar, maybe
- 18:35Speaker 1: you're going unhinged or whatever. And then depending on how
- 18:39Speaker 1: the game's going, the amount of adult beverages you plan
- 18:43Speaker 1: on consuming during said game.
- 18:44Speaker 4: You know, ranking and you can win football season. You
- 18:48Speaker 4: can drink at any hour basically, and it's acceptable because
- 18:50Speaker 4: there's a game on exactly ten am. There's a game.
- 18:54Speaker 4: So guzzle, guzzle.
- 18:55Speaker 1: When the games are going well, you know, maybe you
- 18:57Speaker 1: just sticking to a nice easy bush light. They're a
- 18:59Speaker 1: S and Adam's October Fest. Yeah, when you look like
- 19:02Speaker 1: the Vikings did in the first half, you probably switched
- 19:05Speaker 1: to vodka, you know what I mean? Yeah, So, which
- 19:10Speaker 1: fan base do you think drinks the most, you know,
- 19:13Speaker 1: rooting on their team. I immediately went to, well, like
- 19:17Speaker 1: Green Bay, Wisconsin, just notorious for getting hammered and drinking,
- 19:22Speaker 1: because I'm pretty sure in Wisconsin you can like go
- 19:26Speaker 1: to the bar with your parents at like seventeen years.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Old, they wow, buy you beer. Yeah what san to me?
- 19:34Speaker 4: I had guessed Cowboys fans because I drink when I'm disappointed,
- 19:38Speaker 4: and so I assumed. Yeah, and for that matter, throw
- 19:42Speaker 4: the Raiders in there too, yes, Trader fans.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Well, it turns out neither of us are right, and
- 19:49Speaker 1: we're not even really that close.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Out of all of these teams in.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Their fan bases, Arizona Cardinals fans are getting hammered watching
- 20:00Speaker 1: them play football.
- 20:01Speaker 4: I honestly forget they're a team is that Why are
- 20:05Speaker 4: they drinking? Because everyone forgot about them?
- 20:08Speaker 1: I mean, they've had some tough goals at it, but
- 20:11Speaker 1: they have a good quarterback. That answer surprised me. This
- 20:15Speaker 1: shocked me, and I do think I've discovered why. You
- 20:18Speaker 1: know the team that drinks the least during games Patriots? No,
- 20:23Speaker 1: the Green Bay Packers because the fans wake up and
- 20:27Speaker 1: they're so drunk before noon they pass out before they
- 20:30Speaker 1: could make it to the game. An eight year old
- 20:39Speaker 1: named William was heartbroken when his stuffy dog or is
- 20:43Speaker 1: like stuffed animal dog, yeah, bleue out of the family
- 20:47Speaker 1: car during this windy stop on this family vacation that
- 20:52Speaker 1: they were on. The toy had been given to William's
- 20:54Speaker 1: mother at her baby shower and has been his nightly
- 20:57Speaker 1: companion for years. He helps me fall sleep at night,
- 21:00Speaker 1: is basically how William described it, and he was just
- 21:03Speaker 1: really sad when he lost it.
- 21:04Speaker 2: His parents, Bill and Christina.
- 21:06Speaker 1: They reached out to the sheriff's office in the area
- 21:08Speaker 1: that their son had lost this stuffed dog, but they
- 21:12Speaker 1: didn't hold out much hope that the dog was going
- 21:14Speaker 1: to be recovered. That was until Sheriff Alex Bachin personally replied,
- 21:19Speaker 1: assuring the family that him and other deputies would at
- 21:23Speaker 1: least search the area untry. That's when Deputy Tyler Christen,
- 21:27Speaker 1: a father himself, located the dog in some stage brush
- 21:31Speaker 1: near this rest stop. He was all too familiar with
- 21:34Speaker 1: the importance that kids have on these stuffed animals, and
- 21:38Speaker 1: he said, when my kids lose their stuffed animals, they
- 21:40Speaker 1: basically go into panic mode until we find it. A
- 21:43Speaker 1: few days later, the dog arrived at their house with
- 21:46Speaker 1: an office care package, a sheriff's office care package that
- 21:50Speaker 1: also included patches, coins, and a water bottle. William was
- 21:53Speaker 1: obviously overjoyed with their union, and his father says the
- 21:56Speaker 1: experience gave his son an important lesson. He learned that
- 22:00Speaker 1: there are great people in this world that will do
- 22:01Speaker 1: things to help you even when they don't know you,
- 22:04Speaker 1: which is very sweet.
- 22:06Speaker 3: I love this. Make this a Disney Pixar.
- 22:08Speaker 1: Short one hundred person I better be seeing this animated
- 22:12Speaker 1: movie very soon. And the world is full of nice people.
- 22:15Speaker 1: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
