- 0:00Speaker 1: I was harassing Bill about not having a happy animal story. Yes,
- 0:05Speaker 1: I have a happy animal story.
- 0:07Speaker 2: A happy animal. Is this a happy animal? Now?
- 0:10Speaker 3: I saw your social media post about this.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:14Speaker 3: And the first thing that I thought was adorable.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:18Speaker 3: The second thing I thought was chunky.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:22Speaker 3: The other thing I thought was what is she doing?
- 0:24Speaker 1: So? Uh?
- 0:25Speaker 4: And I sent a picture to Katie hopefully we can
- 0:27Speaker 4: put it.
- 0:28Speaker 5: Let me guess what kind of an animal. It's a
- 0:30Speaker 5: I'm not looking yet, it's a turtle. No, a beaver. No, no, you.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Go to x ninety six dot com slash live. Now,
- 0:41Speaker 1: look at that picture of a dog. She looks like
- 0:43Speaker 1: what if you asked AI to create a perfect dog?
- 0:47Speaker 4: That is what it looks. She looks fake.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Don't you think that's what I thought?
- 0:54Speaker 6: I mean, especially well, not not that picture, but the
- 0:56Speaker 6: other one where you can see her arms.
- 0:58Speaker 5: No.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Yeah, if you go to uh my my social media,
- 1:01Speaker 1: my Instagram page, my Facebook page, I have several pictures
- 1:04Speaker 1: of Oh.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Say, that dog does not look fake. No, that dog
- 1:07Speaker 5: looks like to me, a dog selected by someone who
- 1:10Speaker 5: curates their animals. That's what it is. You No, No
- 1:16Speaker 5: that one no, no, no, no.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Not that one.
- 1:19Speaker 1: No. So so my my nephew's girlfriend had a litter
- 1:27Speaker 1: of Golden Retriever puppies.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yes, you mean well, okay, her dog did.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:33Speaker 4: And here's one thing you should never ever do.
- 1:37Speaker 3: No, well no, I mean no, I know what you're
- 1:39Speaker 3: gonna do.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I know where you're heat. Okay.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Uh, you should never uh surprise somebody with.
- 1:45Speaker 4: The gift of a puppy.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Oh that's even worse than that. I was thinking, Yeah, not.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Knowing, not knowing whether they want a puppy.
- 1:52Speaker 5: I mean, if you know that they've been wanting a
- 1:54Speaker 5: puppy and you surprised them with one, that's one of
- 1:56Speaker 5: the things.
- 1:57Speaker 1: So apparently she had a friend who's parents, uh, their
- 2:01Speaker 1: their dog had passed away, and so their daughter thought, oh,
- 2:05Speaker 1: I'll surprise them with the puppy. Never surprised with the puppies,
- 2:09Speaker 1: and certainly not after a dog has died. They may
- 2:12Speaker 1: need they may not ever want another dog again.
- 2:16Speaker 3: This is a living thing.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Puppy puppies need to be. This is like having a child.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You sure you should think about it when we afford this,
- 2:25Speaker 1: and you're something we want to do.
- 2:26Speaker 5: And you should do what Gina does with a child too.
- 2:29Speaker 5: You should curate your child. Yes, no, not that one.
- 2:33Speaker 6: No, no gift best no, you know.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure the intent was nice, but apparently
- 2:40Speaker 1: she took it to her parents and they're like, I
- 2:43Speaker 1: and I don't know how they looked at this dog
- 2:45Speaker 1: and said, we don't want that. But they said, we
- 2:47Speaker 1: don't want that, but this, it's not that I don't
- 2:51Speaker 1: want I can't.
- 2:52Speaker 2: We don't want the responsibility of another. Yes.
- 2:55Speaker 4: So my nephew who knows that we are we are
- 3:00Speaker 4: suckers and we are we are golden retriever lovers.
- 3:03Speaker 1: We had Sadie girl, we have Riley Pop And he said,
- 3:07Speaker 1: I he's He said, no pressure, but this this little
- 3:11Speaker 1: girl needs a home. And I said, well bring her over.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Well that was that was your mistake.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Yeah, that was you saying yes, we will think it.
- 3:20Speaker 2: That was your mistake. Well bring her over, No, get
- 3:24Speaker 2: her out of here, get that animal out of here.
- 3:28Speaker 1: He brings her over, and and that is the face
- 3:31Speaker 1: that comes through.
- 3:32Speaker 4: I'm like, well, all right, that's okay. I guess we
- 3:36Speaker 4: have another.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Do you realize how big that dog is going to get?
- 3:39Speaker 6: She's huge, yes, and going to just a pop get huger.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I mean you always look at the pause.
- 3:48Speaker 2: But you already have one, right.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but she's gonna this one's gonna.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Be bigger than Riley.
- 3:55Speaker 3: I could tell just from the pictures.
- 3:58Speaker 1: But she's and so we we let so Jonesy named Riley.
- 4:03Speaker 4: We let her.
- 4:04Speaker 1: So we said, whatever next dog we get, we'll let
- 4:06Speaker 1: mohammet because you know, Festus said Sadie, And so this
- 4:10Speaker 1: is Mohammed's turn to name name the dog. And he
- 4:14Speaker 1: came up with Oakley, which is super cute.
- 4:18Speaker 4: She looks like an Oakley. Now in my mind, if
- 4:21Speaker 4: I were naming her, do you want to know what
- 4:22Speaker 4: I was going to name her?
- 4:24Speaker 2: Susan No, b Arthur.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Oh, of course, because she's a golden girl and she's big.
- 4:30Speaker 6: Yeah, I thought that's where you were going, big golden girl.
- 4:36Speaker 3: He is a big girl.
- 4:37Speaker 4: But no, her name's Oakley. And we've had her.
- 4:41Speaker 2: We got her on the sunglasses.
- 4:44Speaker 3: She had the wrap around Fieri.
- 4:47Speaker 1: So we we got her on Saturday, and uh, she
- 4:53Speaker 1: already will do sit, Wow, she already will wait.
- 4:58Speaker 2: And she says her own name.
- 5:02Speaker 1: She's she's a dream puppy. Put her in the kennel
- 5:07Speaker 1: to go to sleep. But Katie knows Katie has well
- 5:10Speaker 1: behaved trained dog.
- 5:11Speaker 6: See Ed says better names furiosa, zena Zena.
- 5:19Speaker 2: That's Blondie.
- 5:21Speaker 4: You know what she looks like? An Oakley?
- 5:23Speaker 1: It suits her and she she knows it all, Like,
- 5:26Speaker 1: does an Oakley look like like that?
- 5:28Speaker 4: That's everybody.
- 5:30Speaker 6: I'm Daffieria and we're rolling out more dinas, drivens and dice.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I oh, well, the Oakley. Utah, that's what looks like.
- 5:40Speaker 1: So so now if I in my perfect world, I
- 5:43Speaker 1: would never ever get a puppy in the winter because
- 5:47Speaker 1: that means you are potty training, yes, in the and
- 5:50Speaker 1: right now it's.
- 5:51Speaker 4: The worst because it's not too cold. So what does
- 5:54Speaker 4: that mean?
- 5:55Speaker 1: It's muddy outside and you don't just put the dog
- 6:00Speaker 1: out and hope they go partty. You have to go
- 6:03Speaker 1: out with them and make sure they go partty.
- 6:05Speaker 2: So you can just require beatings. No, but you have
- 6:09Speaker 2: to catch them dog, I don't know.
- 6:11Speaker 1: You have to catch them going potty outside and giving
- 6:14Speaker 1: them a little treat like so, it doesn't do any
- 6:18Speaker 1: good if you're not there to witness.
- 6:19Speaker 6: It and hope that they're treat motivated. Yeah, that's the
- 6:22Speaker 6: other thing. If they're not hard to train.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Them. No beating you can you catch them doing not
- 6:31Speaker 1: like human children, you don't beat them.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Come on, I mean with a.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Newspaper you catch them doing I never.
- 6:39Speaker 5: With I never with a closed hand. It was always
- 6:42Speaker 5: with an open exactly. So that's okay, always with an
- 6:45Speaker 5: open hand.
- 6:47Speaker 1: But and she is. She is Mohammed's responsibility. She sleeps
- 6:53Speaker 1: in his room. He gets up with her in the
- 6:55Speaker 1: middle of.
- 6:57Speaker 2: This is your responsibility. I don't know, you know.
- 7:01Speaker 4: And he's been working.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Like I said, she's going to take her down to
- 7:04Speaker 2: the old fishing hole.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Yes, you joke.
- 7:08Speaker 2: This has been discussed.
- 7:09Speaker 4: I'm taking you.
- 7:11Speaker 2: You know I'm not choking. You curated your children, now
- 7:14Speaker 2: you've curated another dog.
- 7:16Speaker 4: No, he's been he's the one you know how.
- 7:18Speaker 2: To whistle the Andy Griffith.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Yes, the reason she already knows how to sit and
- 7:23Speaker 1: wait is because he's been working with her all weekend.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Well, he's great with her.
- 7:28Speaker 1: So so there is your happy animal story.
- 7:34Speaker 2: There we go. Wow, I'm happy for the animal, and
- 7:37Speaker 2: I'm happy for you.
- 7:38Speaker 3: I think I think you're all crazy.
- 7:40Speaker 6: I think I'm very should have turned that you should
- 7:42Speaker 6: have turned that animal right around.
- 7:45Speaker 2: How could you couldn't know, You couldn't.
- 7:48Speaker 4: There was no there was no turning back.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Even even I would have had to say
