- 0:16Speaker 1: five days a year.
- 0:17Speaker 2: We hope you enjoy this message.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Einstein gets on a plane. He knows it's a long flight,
- 0:39Speaker 3: so he turns to the man next to him and says,
- 0:42Speaker 3: it's going to be a long flight. Why don't we
- 0:45Speaker 3: play a game. I'll ask you a question and if
- 0:49Speaker 3: you can't answer it, you give me five dollars. Then
- 0:54Speaker 3: you ask me a question, and since I'm smarter, if
- 0:59Speaker 3: I can't answer, I'll give you one hundred dollars. The
- 1:03Speaker 3: man wasn't insulted at being called less smart than Einstein,
- 1:09Speaker 3: but he did agree to the arrangement. And so Einstein
- 1:14Speaker 3: goes first and asks this question, what is the exact
- 1:19Speaker 3: distance from the Earth to the moon. The man thinks
- 1:24Speaker 3: and thinks, but he can't find the answer. He says,
- 1:29Speaker 3: I don't know. He reaches into his pocket and gives
- 1:33Speaker 3: Einstein five dollars. Now it's the man's turn, so he says,
- 1:41Speaker 3: what goes up a hill with two legs and down
- 1:46Speaker 3: a hill with three. Einstein thinks and thinks and thinks.
- 1:53Speaker 3: But even when his great mind and extensive knowledge fails,
- 1:59Speaker 3: he can't think think of an answer. So he reaches
- 2:02Speaker 3: into his pocket and gives the man one hundred dollars.
- 2:07Speaker 3: He is greatly disturbed and confused, though, so he asks
- 2:11Speaker 3: the man, before I take my next turn, what goes
- 2:16Speaker 3: up a hill with two legs and down a hill
- 2:18Speaker 3: with three without skipping a beat. The man reaches into
- 2:24Speaker 3: his pocket and gives Einstein five dollars. Sometimes we simply
- 2:44Speaker 3: get our priorities out of whack. We forget what is
- 2:48Speaker 3: truly most important, and we need to be reminded from
- 2:52Speaker 3: time to time just what are the truest luxuries in life.

- 5:27Speaker 3: Do you know the answer to this week's trivia question?
- 5:31Speaker 3: The question was what is the only planet on our
- 5:34Speaker 3: solar system that rotates clockwise on its axis? The answer Venus.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Venus has a retrograde rotation, meaning it spins in the
- 5:47Speaker 3: opposite direction of most other planets in our solar system.
- 5:52Speaker 3: This means that on Venus, the sun would appear to
- 5:56Speaker 3: rise in the west and set in the east, which
- 6:00Speaker 3: is the reverse of Earth's rotation. Now you know, Welcome
- 6:12Speaker 3: back to the podcast everyone. In today's episode, we're diving
- 6:16Speaker 3: deep into something I think we often overlook in our
- 6:19Speaker 3: fast paced world, the real luxuries in life. We tend
- 6:25Speaker 3: to get caught up in the pursuit of material wealth,
- 6:28Speaker 3: the next big thing, or the idea of success. But
- 6:32Speaker 3: in reality, there are so many simpler, yet deeply fulfilling
- 6:36Speaker 3: treasures that are often more accessible than we realize. Before
- 6:42Speaker 3: we explore the full list, let's take a moment to reflect.
- 6:47Speaker 3: How often do you pause to appreciate the things that
- 6:50Speaker 3: truly nourish your soul. We live in a society that
- 6:54Speaker 3: tells us that the pursuit of more, more things, more achievements,
- 6:58Speaker 3: more recognition is the key to happiness. But what if
- 7:03Speaker 3: the real luxuries are the quiet, subtle moments we sometimes
- 7:08Speaker 3: take for granted. In this segment, I want to explore
- 7:13Speaker 3: that those luxuries are and what they might look like
- 7:18Speaker 3: for each of us. Think about your life right now.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Is it the endless pursuit of success or is it
- 7:27Speaker 3: something far simpler? Let's shift our focus, just for a moment,
- 7:32Speaker 3: to what truly matters, because the truth is, life's greatest
- 7:37Speaker 3: treasures often can't be bought. And with that, I want
- 7:43Speaker 3: to leave you with a thought, what would happen if
- 7:46Speaker 3: we started to truly appreciate the simplest pleasures that are
- 7:51Speaker 3: already within our reach. Let's dive into the list for
- 7:56Speaker 3: real luxuries, and by the end, hope that we can
- 8:00Speaker 3: all take away a bit more clarity on what really
- 8:05Speaker 3: brings us joy. The real luxuries in life time health,
- 8:28Speaker 3: a quiet mind, slow mournings, the ability to travel, rest
- 8:37Speaker 3: without guilt, a good night's sleep, calm and boring days,
- 8:46Speaker 3: meaningful conversations, home cooked meals, people you love, people who
- 8:56Speaker 3: love you back.
