- Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups: It's another day, another week. The sun is shining, and it's a great day to make your fantasy football team better. So let's get into it. Well, welcome back to Fat Daddy Sports. Hey, today we are talking week seven waiver wires. I've got a crazy amount of sunshine coming in this window right now. I'm not gonna apologize for it because it's sunny, it's warm here. Pretty soon it's gonna be snowing and awful outside. So we're gonna we're gonna push through this sun right now. We're gonna get into the week seven waiver wire. Starting off at last week's waiver wire video, but the guys that I recommended, I think that there's still some that are out there that you could still pick up in a lot of leagues. So let's jump into that real quick. Last week we had Aaron Rodgers was thirty seven owned. This week only fifty si fifty eight percent owned. Still a good pickup there. He didn't have as good of a week this past week, but I do think Better days are ahead. They kind of have a good thing worked out here with that passing offense with wide receiver Jeremy Bernard. And I think better days are ahead for Aaron Rodgers and Bernard. You can see right here, Jeremy Bernard, 6% owned last week, jumped up to 58%. So he's still available in a lot of leagues. If he's available in your league, you need to go get him. He would be priority one. Without a doubt. Kendrick Bourne, 13% last week, 33% this week. Had a a decent week for the Cardinals. And I think going forward, he's gonna get involved even more each and every week. A Brenton Strange last week, 47%, up to 72% this week, but the Jaguars are on a buy this coming week. So a lot of people might have dropped him or might be dropping him. Take a peek, see if he's out there. He's gonna be heavily involved for this Jags offense going forward. Woody Marks obviously had a good week for the Texans, fifty-seven percent last week, eighty-five percent this week. Probably not available, but if he is, go ahead and scoop him up. And then for the Eagles, Damian Pierce, same thing, eight percent last week, sixty-eight percent this week. He got into the end zone this past week, and he's going to be a a usable piece in that Eagles offense, which there's not a lot of them. So if Damian Pierce is out there, you go ahead and scoop him up. And then this week I wanna start the waiver wire. And I'll be honest with you guys, week seven waiver wire this week is pretty nasty. There's not a lot of big names out there. There wasn't a whole lot of injuries, knock on wood. That's a good thing. So this week I want to kind of transition a little bit. I think this is a week where you can save some fab money, save your waiver priority and take a look at some of these guys that are maybe coming back from IR. Maybe try to get ahead a little bit on these guys if they're available. When your league mates are sleeping a little bit, you can go ahead and scoop these guys up before they are actually back. And we'll start in Seattle. Zach Charbonnet, I've talked about him on the previous couple videos. But he's only owned in 66%. That Seattle offense desperately needs a running game right now. And Zach Charbonnet hopefully will be that addition that they are hoping for and needing. he's coming back from that knee injury. But I think there will be a little bit of a ramp up period there. But I do think he's going to be more and more involved as the season goes on. If you need a running back, he is a good season-long bid for you. Next up would be Jordan Tyson in New Orleans. He is traveling to Paris with the Saints for their game next week. And it looks like he's going to be coming back from the IR this week after having that hamstring issue or hamstring issues throughout his career. the Saints offense needs to get going a little bit. They're kind of in the mud. And I think Jordan Tyson is a young, exciting, explosive player that can play. Opposite of Chris Olave and really open up the field for this entire offense. I think he will get more and more involved as the year goes on. Maybe a little bit of a slow ramp up period, but go ahead and pick him up if you need a wide receiver. And then also at the wide receiver position, this is a guy that I brought up two or three weeks ago. But sounds like maybe he's coming back, maybe even tonight for this 49ers offense that desperately needs some wide receiver play. Christian Kirk, only six percent owned right now in sleeper leagues, and you could pick him up pretty much for free. I don't know that he'll be back this week, and even if he is, I don't know how much he will play. He's listed as questionable for tonight's game against the Commanders, but keep an eye on that. And maybe if you have a free spot right now, scoop him up before tonight's game. And then the last name is Jonah Coleman in Denver. This is a Denver offense that desperately needs that running game going. J.K. Dobbins has gotten going a little bit in the past couple weeks. RJ Harvey's been more involved in the pass game, but nobody's really taken hold of that job. I think that Jonah Coleman, they are very, very excited about. They were raving about him at the beginning of the year and then obviously got hurt, got put out of IR, and a lot of people got burned by him the first time through. So if he's out there, he's only owned thirty-seven percent of leagues right now. He's a good end-of-the-bench stash right now. I don't know immediately how much he will play and be involved. He may not be involved until later into the season. But I think as the season wears on, this is an offense that needs playmakers. They're gonna have to put him in at some point. His his talent is undeniable. He's too good to be stashed away on the bench. So if you've gotten up Extra spot, go ahead and pick up Jonah Coleman. All right, and let's jump over to the actual waiver claims for week seven. We will in no real particular order this week. we'll start at the quarterback position and JJ McCarthy, eighteen, formerly known as nine, goes over to the Giants, gets thrown into mop up time in the fourth quarter after Jameis had gotten them into a hole. They're down, what was it, thirty-four to ten. I think it was 34 to 10. They were down big. And JJ McCarthy came in, lit up the scoreboard. I was kind of following on my phone, following on red zone, and he was tearing it up, throwing bombs to Malik neighbors, Isaiah Likely, and got them down there with a shot to tie it up at the last second, and just wasn't able to convert on fourth down. but he's only owning four percent of leagues. John Harbaugh hasn't committed to saying that he will be the starter in week seven, but I do think that that time is probably here or at least very, very close. If you're in a two quarterback league, you need another quarterback, JJ McCarthy adds a lot of dynamics with his legs. Sure, he's gonna throw the interception or two here or there, but He he adds a lot of value and he's got some very talented pass catchers. Staying in New York, these are two guys that I'm not super high on. Just it's it's a very murky situation there in the backfield for New York. But Najee Harris and Tyrone Tracy, Cam Scadaboo was, I guess, benched in week six for his fumbling issues prior to week six. And d I don't know. They're just being super weird about it, but Nonetheless, Tracy found the end zone twice. Najee Harris got some run. If you need a running back, I'm not spending any money on either of these guys. I'm not rushing out to get either of them. But if you're in a deep league, you need some running back help. Like I know in a in Dynasty League, I just picked up Najee Harris because I need a running back next week. I don't plan to keep him on my roster pass next week, but if you are in desperate need, I guess you could pick up one of those two guys. And then staying at the running back position, we'll go to Chicago. DeAndre Swift is dealing with some injuries. He has been all year. He's still out there producing. Kyle Manungay is dealing with turf toe as well as a thumb injury. And who knows when he will be back. He's missed the last two games. Roshan Johnson has filled in for him. If you need a running back, I think Roshan Johnson provides some very good value for you. This is a a team that likes to use multiple running backs. They're not committed to just one guy. Roshan got plenty of goal line work yesterday. And I think that. You know, he could be added in almost every league. He's only owned in 15% of leagues right now. Looked very, very good last week and definitely worth the add this week. And one more running back to talk about in New Orleans, Kendra Miller got 20 carries yesterday. Alvin Kamara got some of the past game work. He came into this game a little bit banged up. So maybe that's why Kendra got so much work so much run. But Kendra's gotten some work the last couple of weeks. He's not fumbling it. Every carry like he was a few weeks ago. And hopefully he's going to emerge as that lead running back. They desperately need a running game in New Orleans. And they're turning to Kendra Miller right now. If you're in a deep league, 12-team league, I think Kendra Miller is a fine addition to your team. He's owned in 47% of leagues. So over half of the leagues, he's out there. You could go out and get him. I don't have super high expectations, but I do like the Saints offense. I think they move the wall. They move the ball very well. And I think that Kendra Miller could have some goal line carries. At the wide receiver position is Keenan Allen in Indianapolis. We've talked about him a few times, but he kind of seems to be emerging as maybe that lead guy that Daniel Jones looks for. Now, I don't know how much longer Daniel Jones will be the starting quarterback. That Colts offense is not very good. And I don't know that I can trust Keenan Allen on a weekly basis. But as a flex play, you need a fill-in, you need a bye week guy. Keenan Allen could fill that void. I think he had 11 targets yesterday. He looked the part. I mean, he still got some juice there. He's still got reliable hands, a guy that they know they can trust to be in the right place. And then the final two guys that I want to talk about, these are probably my my two biggest pickups this week. And that is Omar Cooper in New York. For the Jets. He's kind of emerged as that wide receiver two right now with Adnai Mitchell still missing time. Kenyon Sadiq, the tight end, has kind of had some quiet weeks here now. And Garrett Wilson saw a lot of shadow coverage from Christian Gonzalez in yesterday's matchup, which left Omar Cooper wide open a few times. He had that bomb touchdown. I think he had two touchdowns. He had one earlier in the game as well. but a very nice day over a hundred yards receiving and he looks to be the part. I mean he was very hyped coming into the draft process, into the you know preseason, whatever. And then you just didn't hear a word about this guy. He ends up getting hurt. Aaron Glenn a couple weeks ago was ranting about or raving about getting some guys back from IR and how excited he was for that process to see what they could do out there. Omar Cooper was one of those guys that got him back, and you saw right away what he could do, what he's capable of. Now, I would not hold on to the hope that this is going to be an every week thing. I mean, this offense still runs through the running backs, through Garrett Wilson, and it's just not an offense that's going to score a whole lot or even run a whole lot of plays. So I wouldn't hold on to Omar Cooper being like this dynamite waiver wire winner of the year. But if you're in a deep league, you need a wide receiver. He's only owned in 13% of leagues right now. I think he could be a fine addition going forward. And then the last guy I want to talk about is in Baltimore, wide receiver Jacoby Lane. Just got back off of IR after his wrist issue in week, I think it was week one. He got knocked out in and then got put on IR, has missed every game since. But he comes back in yesterday, has a decent showing with backup quarterback Tyler Huntley. That offense should be getting Lamar back hopefully this week. If not this week, maybe next week. And that offense is going to get better and better and explode. We've only really seen the full offense for about a half of one game this year in week one with Lamar, with Jacoby Lade, Derek Henry, Mark Andrews, Zay Flowers, everybody out there healthy together. And then obviously guys started getting banged up. So we haven't seen that full Baltimore offense yet. But I think as soon as they get Lamar back, that that offense is really going to explode and be very, very good. They need a second pass catcher, opposite of Zay Flowers. And I'm not sure that Mark Andrews is really that guy anymore. He is a good safety blanket guy, but they need explosive players. They have come out and said multiple times that they want to hunt those explosive plays. And Jacoby Lane is one of those guys that they can lean on to do that. So if it were up to me, I think Jacoby Lane is probably my number one waiver wire pickup this year or this week, I'm sorry. But it really depends on what your team needs. If you need a wide receiver, if you need a running back, if you don't need anything and you're just looking to add some better pieces to your team, I think Jacoby Lane is a very, very good player. Owned in only 27% of leagues right now. So he's probably available in your league. But let me know down in the comments, guys, what did I miss? Who did I miss?
