- 0:00Speaker 1: This morning, we're gonna dive right in, folks, and we're
- 0:04gonna stick to the topic of Gilaine Maxwell, her legal team,
- 0:09and now her brother coming to the forefront trying to
- 0:13gaslight us and tell us about how bad her conditions
- 0:17are in prison. Now, we have touched on all of
- 0:20this stuff previously, right, We've talked about how her conditions
- 0:24in prison are certainly much better than most and the
- 0:30fact that she has all of these ailments that she's
- 0:33talking about is part and parcel for being in a
- 0:37stressed environment. If she did not want to go through
- 0:42all of this, she should not have hung out with
- 0:45Jeffrey Epstein. She should not have engaged in the behavior
- 0:49that she's alleged to have engaged in. And now when
- 0:55it's time to pay the piper, you want to cry
- 0:59and care about the conditions of your jail cell. What
- 1:06about all of these girls that you were alleged to abuse,
- 1:10groom and provide for Jeffrey Epstein to abuse. Should nobody
- 1:16care about that? Should we all just forget about that
- 1:19and worry that you're not getting the lettuce wrap sandwiches
- 1:22that you're used to eating, or that you can't go
- 1:27to one of your gallas. I mean, really, there are
- 1:32actual people in the prisons of the United States of
- 1:35America who are actually innocent, who are not being treated
- 1:41anywhere nearly as good as Gielan Maxwell. And that's just
- 1:45the facts of the situation. You want to talk about
- 1:49not being treated well in jail, try ending up there
- 1:52with no money, Try ending up there without one of
- 1:55these high powered attorneys. Go get in trouble and then
- 1:59use a public defender and see how great your life
- 2:02is in prison. Pretty sure you won't have a laptop.
- 2:06Pretty sure you won't have your own shower. Pretty sure
- 2:09you won't have TV every day. Pretty sure you won't
- 2:12have all of these things that Gelaane Maxwell has that
- 2:17her family and her legal team is crying about. These
- 2:21are the things that people in prison wish they had.
- 2:28But her, her brother, and her legal team have the
- 2:33audacity to try and gaslight you and make you think
- 2:37that what's going on in her incarceration is this other
- 2:43worldly bout of abuse and folks, that just is not reality.
- 2:51This article is from the Daily Mail headline Gilainne Maxwell's
- 2:55brother Ian says he recognizes the setting of infamous picture
- 2:59of her with Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts and Prince Andrew,
- 3:04and does not rule out the royal being called as
- 3:07a witness for her defense. Well, that would be some
- 3:11must watch TV. Huh, we're talking insanely crazy. Imagine Prince
- 3:17Andrew gets called up there as a witness in the
- 3:21case for her defense. I mean, holy smokes, that would
- 3:26be something. But I have to believe that the Joe
- 3:31Exotic of the Winsor family would find a way to
- 3:34wiggle off of that line as well. So if Ian
- 3:39and her legal team are counting on the Joe Exotic
- 3:42of the Winsor family to step up to the plate
- 3:45and save the old bipedal serpent, well they're gonna be
- 3:49waiting a long time. This article was authored by Tim Stickings.
- 3:56Gilaine Maxwell's brother has said he recognizes this setting of
- 4:00the infamous photo showing her with Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein.
- 4:04Accuser Virginia Roberts, The Duke of York, has faced scrutiny
- 4:09over the notorious picture of him with his arm around
- 4:12Miss Roberts, who says she was kept as a sex
- 4:15slave by Jeffrey Epstein and trafficked to have sex with Andrew.
- 4:20A claim, which the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family
- 4:24has always denied. Oh well, then that's the end of it, right.
- 4:28We should definitely listen to him. I mean, he's proven
- 4:32throughout history and throughout time that he is a very
- 4:35honorable man, that he does what he says he's going
- 4:38to do. He would never hang out with undesirables, So
- 4:42we should just believe everything Andrew has to say. Meanwhile,
- 4:47back in reality, he's not provided one iota of evidence
- 4:52to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, Virginia has provided receipts, she's
- 4:58provided photographs, operating statements. So again I ask you, Joe
- 5:04Exotic of the Windsor family, when are you going to
- 5:08do the honorable thing and speak with the authorities. Asked
- 5:14whether the photo was taken at Maxwell's London home, her
- 5:17brother Ian Maxwell told BBC's Radio four Today program, I
- 5:21do recognize that setting. Oh well thanks, that's that's great
- 5:26that you recognize the setting. No, shit, you recognize the setting.
- 5:30It's at your sister's house, you know, the place where
- 5:33Andrew abused Virginia. According to her, yeah, that place. Not
- 5:39shocked that you recognize it. But he added that I
- 5:44don't know anything about the photograph other than I've seen
- 5:48it's been published. Well okay, but I don't really think
- 5:54that means anything one way or the other. Who who's
- 5:57asserting that you know anything about the photograph. The fact
- 6:00that you come out and say that you recognize the setting, well,
- 6:03that's all fine, And well we know that that's at
- 6:06Gilaane's house. We know that that picture was taken there.
- 6:11And the fact that Andrew and Gulaine and others still
- 6:15question the legitimacy of that picture is mind blowing to me.
- 6:20You would think that a failed strategy such as that
- 6:23would be thrown out the window, But when you're drowning
- 6:27in the middle of the ocean, you will clutch on
- 6:30anything floating by to try and stay afloat. Andrew says
- 6:36he has no recollection of the photo being taken and
- 6:39says it might have been faked, claiming in his twenty
- 6:42nineteen interview that he never went upstairs at Maxwell's home
- 6:46and would have been wearing different clothes to go out
- 6:48in London. Well, I mean, you know you gotta wear
- 6:50your different kit, right, You have a different kit to
- 6:52go out, You have a kit to wear to meet
- 6:55other dignitaries. What kit do you wear when you're hanging
- 6:59out with your pedophile friends, Joe Exotic of the Windsor family.
- 7:06He added that he had never seen Epstein wielding a camera,
- 7:09making him an unlikely candidate to have taken the photo,
- 7:13and said that as a member of the royal family,
- 7:16he would not put his arm around other people when
- 7:18posing for pictures with them. Yeah, no, just that never happens.
- 7:23Right again, he's sinking himself with his own words. So
- 7:28what he's saying is he never puts his arm around
- 7:31people when he meets them, right with, because you know
- 7:33the strangers, whatever it may be. Okay, So what made
- 7:36Virginia different? Why'd you put your arm around Virginia? Then,
- 7:40Joe Exotic of the Windsor Family. What made you feel
- 7:43so comfortable doing that? Joe Exotic of the Windsor Family. Again,
- 7:50I'm certainly not a seasoned prosecutor. I'm lucky I can
- 7:53tie my shoes and pair my socks, folks, But if
- 7:56I can punch holes in this idiot story, you have
- 7:59to think at the SDNY is salivating at the chops
- 8:04waiting to get a hold of this clown. Mister Maxwell
- 8:10did not rule out that Andrew could be called to
- 8:13speak in Gilayne's defense when she goes on trial in July,
- 8:17adding that he assumes she still considers the duke a friend.
- 8:21Oh you assume, huh? Have you not talked to her?
- 8:23Have you not asked her? Now? I assume that they're
- 8:26still friends too. As far as old Joe Exotic of
- 8:30the Windsor Family coming out in her defense at the trial,
- 8:35I really don't know how they would be able to
- 8:37pull that one off. Imagine the Joe Exotic of the
- 8:41Windsor Family up there answering questions as a defense witness,
- 8:45and then cross examination shows up and Alison Moe and
- 8:49the other prosecutors begin to hammer this guy. He thought
- 8:53the Emily Maitlis interview was rough. Let me tell you what,
- 8:58Joe Exotic of the Windsor Family meet the United States government.
- 9:05So they if they called him as a witness and
- 9:07he came willingly as a witness, that would be an
- 9:12epic blunder on his part, in my opinion, an epic blunder.
- 9:17The fifty nine year old co conspirator and fellow child
- 9:20abuser has been in custody since last July, when She
- 9:24was charged with helping Epstein to groom underage girls, which
- 9:27she denies. Giving a rare interview, Mister Maxwell lobbied for
- 9:32her release from pre trial custody today, as he claims
- 9:35she was losing her hair and struggling with her eyesight
- 9:38and conditions that are degrading an amount to torture. Eh, sorry,
- 9:42not degrading. They don't amount to torture. And she's getting old.
- 9:46That's what happens when you get old. You lose your hair,
- 9:48you lose your eyesight. Now, don't get me wrong, Are
- 9:51these the greatest conditions you could possibly find yourself in.
- 9:54Absolutely not. I'll never sit here and make pretend that
- 9:58jail's fun or being incarcerated's cool. There's nothing cool about
- 10:03any of this. And as far as Gilaine Maxwell's concerned,
- 10:08as much as I think that the prison system needs reform,
- 10:13as much as I think that things go on that
- 10:16should not be going on within the prison system, with
- 10:19that said, those are the rules. That's the lay of
- 10:22the land. That's the way it is for everybody. So
- 10:26Gilaine Maxwell, her brother, her lawyers, all of these people
- 10:32that now want to talk about conditions in jail, that
- 10:35now want to talk about how how rough it is
- 10:37to be in prison. Well, guess what, it didn't just
- 10:40start becoming rough when Gelaine showed up. This is jail.
- 10:45This is what you have to look forward to if
- 10:48you abuse children. This is what you have to look
- 10:50forward to if you're covorting with Jeffrey Epstein and working
- 10:54as a co conspirator and fellow boss. That's the message
- 10:58that needs to be sent here. This is the future
- 11:01that awaits you. Ian Maxwell, reclusive tycoon's son who was
- 11:11cleared of fraud. Ian Maxwell resurfaced for a rare interview
- 11:16today after three decades of staying out of the spotlight
- 11:21following the death and disgrace of his tycoon father, Robert Maxwell.
- 11:25So this is a little blurb within the article. You know,
- 11:28the Daily News will do I mean the Daily Mail
- 11:30will do that. Sometimes they'll have one of these little
- 11:32blurbs within the article that's in the color blue or whatever,
- 11:37and it gives you a little bit of backstory on
- 11:39the topic at hand. So that's what we're doing here
- 11:43within the article, reading through that little blurb that they got.
- 11:49He and Gilaine are two of the nine children of
- 11:51the late media baron who died at sea in nineteen
- 11:54ninety one after falling from a yacht called the Lady Galaine.
- 11:58After his death, merged that he had looted millions from
- 12:02the Mirror Group's pension funds as his empire crumbled. Ian
- 12:06Maxwell and another brother, Kevin Maxwell, were put on trial
- 12:10in connection with the scandal, but were quitted at the
- 12:13Old Bailey in nineteen ninety six. The trial coincided with
- 12:18the breakup of Ian's first marriage to former US college
- 12:22basketball star Laura Plum. Ian has kept a low profile
- 12:26since then, with the BBC describing today's interview as his
- 12:30first to a broadcaster for thirty years. Well, yeah, look,
- 12:34when you get off of with what they got off with,
- 12:38I don't blame them for not speaking to the media
- 12:40and now coming out this could open up all sorts
- 12:43of old wounds, all sorts of old questions about the
- 12:46Maxwell family. Now. I know that they were acquitted for
- 12:50their alleged role within their father's looting of the pensions,
- 12:55but you would think that speaking to the media after
- 12:59all of these years is going to open up a
- 13:02whole bunch of other questions. Thought to have lived in
- 13:07Hackney in East London in recent years, he appeared in
- 13:10person in a BBC studio to lobby for his sister's release.
- 13:15But the brothers have also built up business interests outside
- 13:18the UK in property, telecoms and energy, including in Russia.
- 13:23Oh well, what do you know, including in Russia? Huh?
- 13:26How many oligarchs are you involved with? How much dark,
- 13:29dirty ass money from mafioso and Russia are you involved with? Again,
- 13:36I have no evidence of that, but when we're talking
- 13:38about the Maxwells, I think these are all valid questions.
- 13:42We're not talking about the beavers here. Okay, we're not
- 13:45talking about a wholesome family. Uh. Oh, Shuck's dad, How
- 13:48is your day to day? No, we're not talking about
- 13:51anything like that. We're talking about a pit of vipers literally.
- 13:57In twenty eighteen, they set up a think tank called
- 14:00adding Jihata's Terrorism following a series of attacks in Britain.
- 14:04Ian married his second wife, Tara Dudley Smith, in nineteen
- 14:08ninety nine, but that relationship also later ended. Oh well,
- 14:13what do you know? Surprising to me that these people
- 14:16can't keep a relationship. Surprising to me that they can't
- 14:20be with somebody else long term. Look, you can only
- 14:23hide your private face for so long, and that length
- 14:28of time shortens dramatically when you're in a serious relationship
- 14:32with somebody. So it doesn't shock me that all of
- 14:36these people have been through eight or nine different marriages,
- 14:39all right, hyperbole, not eight or nine, you know what
- 14:41I mean, though, And it doesn't shock me that they
- 14:43have a bunch of ex partners. Miss Maxwell said his
- 14:49sister remained resolute but was being served brown water, an
- 14:53edible food, and monitored around the clock and grow tesque
- 14:57conditions in Brooklyn, which he said, we're not the way
- 15:00that a democratic country should run its prisons. Yeah, where
- 15:04was all of this yap clap trap before? Where was
- 15:08everybody in Gilaine Maxwell's circle, Jeffrey Epstein, her family, all
- 15:13of these hotshot lawyers, where were all of Where were
- 15:17they all before? Before Gilain Maxwell was arrested talking about
- 15:20how bad the criminal system is, talking about how bad
- 15:24prison is. They were nowhere to be found, folks. And
- 15:28now that they're getting a little taste of what poor
- 15:31people have been going through for h ever, they don't
- 15:35like what's on the menu. Well, newsflash, equal justice under
- 15:41the law means when you get busted, you get treated
- 15:44like every single one of us would. So I don't
- 15:51want to hear any more crying and moaning about the
- 15:53conditions that Gilaine Maxwell finds herself in. You want fed
- 15:57up conditions, come to Las Vegas and I'll take you
- 16:00to our skid row and you can tell me who
- 16:03has it worse. They also appointed to Maxwell's vast wealth,
- 16:10but her brother said she was willing to put her
- 16:12money under the supervision of US authorities if it helps
- 16:15secure bail. We don't know how much money she has,
- 16:19that's the problem people. Oh, well, her tax return says
- 16:23she has this amount. Do you really think that these
- 16:26people are putting down all of the money in their
- 16:29possession on their tax returns? What do you think those
- 16:32llces are for? What do you think those offshore companies
- 16:35are for? What do you think all of that money
- 16:38laundering is for. If you don't think there's a war
- 16:41chest that these people have, If you don't think these
- 16:44people are prepared to go on the lamb or hide
- 16:48if they have to, or use money that they haven't
- 16:52talked about yet or told the government about yet, you're wrong.
- 16:56There is no length that these people will not go
- 16:58to to keep themself out of trouble folks, no length whatsoever.
- 17:04Had she wanted to run away, she could have run
- 17:07away at any point in the year after Epstein died,
- 17:09mister Maxwell said, But she remained permanently in the United States. Yeah,
- 17:14in my opinion, because of her hubris. She thought she
- 17:17was never going to get nailed for this. She thought
- 17:19the NPA protected her and the dirt that she had
- 17:22on all the other folks would be enough of a
- 17:25shield to keep her out of the spotlight, to keep
- 17:29her from getting in any trouble, to keep her from
- 17:32having to face the music. It's worked for so long previously,
- 17:36why wouldn't it work this time. Well, this time her
- 17:39calculations were off. She thought that she was going to
- 17:41be able to slide through, and if she was, she'd
- 17:44get wind if something was coming down. Well she didn't,
- 17:49and now she has to deal with it. And that's
- 17:52just the way it goes. All the crying, all the complaining,
- 17:56all the finger pointing in the world is not going
- 17:58to change the fact that coming up in July, Gallainne
- 18:03Maxwell will be tried for her crimes. This isn't somebody
- 18:09who's seeking to flee. She has attachments here, She has
- 18:12family here. She has an entire life built by her
- 18:15for thirty years here. So what does that mean. Nobody's
- 18:18ever ever fled before when they've had a life built.
- 18:21I mean, how many people have won on the lamb, folks.
- 18:24How many people with a lot less means than Gilainne
- 18:26Maxwell have got lost in the sauce A lot of folks.
- 18:31So to act like she's not a flight risk, to
- 18:33act like her citizenship, her connections, her money means nothing
- 18:37is laughable at best. Her lawyers had offered twenty two
- 18:42and a half million in bail posted by the defendant
- 18:45and her husband, but the judge rejected the second bell
- 18:48package in December. No conditions of release can reasonably assure
- 18:53the defendant's appearance at future proceedings. Federal Judge Alison Nathan wrote,
- 18:58Gilaine has been in now for nearly two hundred and
- 19:01fifty days in counting, she is in effective isolation in
- 19:05a cell that measures six feet by nine feet and
- 19:08which includes a concrete bed and a toilet. Mister Maxwell
- 19:12said that again, that is what happens when you go
- 19:15to jail. All right, there's no I don't understand what
- 19:19this guy's point is. If this was the only sell
- 19:24or condition a part of the jail where conditions were bad.
- 19:27You might have a valid argument, but this is just
- 19:30how it goes. This is jail, Okay. It's not supposed
- 19:33to be fun. It's not supposed to be enjoyable. You're
- 19:36supposed to go there to be punished. You know, like
- 19:39when you were a kid and you get punished by
- 19:41your parents and they'd send you to your room, they
- 19:43take your video games away, your TV, all of that jazz.
- 19:46I know, the first time I was ever really grounded,
- 19:49I was like in seventh grade. I had everything taken
- 19:52out of my room and my dad brought in this
- 19:54big ass box of books. And up to that point,
- 19:57I hadn't read anything besides stuff for scol So he
- 20:01brings in this big ass box of books, drops it
- 20:04on my floor and says, look, you're grounded for a month.
- 20:06You better find something to do with your time. So
- 20:09you know what I did, after all of my carrying
- 20:12on and crying and my histrionics, I dug into that
- 20:16box of books and found a book called Jurassic Park.
- 20:21And that was one of the first books I ever read.
- 20:24And the reason I read that was I was in
- 20:26prison basically. So my point is, Gilay Maxwell, nobody cares. Okay,
- 20:31find a book, do something with your time, because the
- 20:34fact of the matter is this, you are staying there
- 20:39until your trial, and then once your trial comes and
- 20:42you're convicted, well, the place you go next you're not
- 20:45gonna like that very much at all. Either. There is
- 20:50no natural light. She is under twenty four hour, around
- 20:52the clock surveillance with ten cameras, including one that moves
- 20:56and tracks her movements. That is her existence. The water
- 21:00that is provided through the prison is brown, and the
- 21:03food that she's given is very highly microwaved and basically inedible. Inedible.
- 21:09She is resolute, she's strong in her spirit and undaunted,
- 21:12but obviously this is very very wearing physically. And the
- 21:16food thing cracks me up too. She has more money
- 21:19than God. Why isn't she buying stuff from the canteen.
- 21:22She could buy all kinds of stuff from the canteen.
- 21:24Maybe she should have watched some of those prison shows
- 21:27before she went to jail. Maybe she should have had
- 21:29some friends who went to prison that could have taught
- 21:31her how to make a grilled cheese in your jail cell.
- 21:34But that's what happens when you're just a smarmy ass.
- 21:37Everything in your mouth, silver spooner. You don't know anybody
- 21:41like that. You ain't built for this life, and when
- 21:43you end up in jail, it becomes, oh, woe is me? Well,
- 21:47guess what? See this right here, that's me playing the
- 21:50world's smallest violin. Nobody cares. Gilaine. She's a fifty nine
- 21:57year old woman, and we understand that she's losing her hair,
- 22:00and she's also having trouble with her eyesight and her
- 22:03ability to concentrate because this is a tremendous pressure to
- 22:06be under. Yeah, guess what. That's what happens when you
- 22:10have stress. You lose hair, you get old, you lose
- 22:13your eyesight. That's what happens. She's gonna be sixty. You
- 22:17pretty much told us what's going on in the statement
- 22:20of saying she's sixty, So you mean to tell me,
- 22:22Hold on, this is breaking news here, folks. You mean
- 22:26to tell me that a sixty year old woman who
- 22:28is under tremendous pressure, under a tremendous stress, is losing
- 22:32her eyesight in her hair. Holy cow, what's next? Water
- 22:35is wet? Give me a break? Asked whether the conditions
- 22:43were not necessary to prevent her from harming herself like Epstein.
- 22:47Mister Maxwell said his sister has never been a suicide risk.
- 22:51Neither was Epstein until he was Okay, so please spare me.
- 22:56Say the shoe is on the other foot now, and
- 22:57they let Elaine go and have the run of the
- 22:59prison in and do whatever she wants, hang out in
- 23:02general population, and then something happens to her. What then, Oh,
- 23:06the government let her get killed. Oh the government was
- 23:09in on it. So how about we alleviate all of that,
- 23:12cut that shit off at the pass and make sure
- 23:15that she has surveyed, I mean surveilled properly. And that's
- 23:19exactly what they're doing. Guess what, after she gets convicted
- 23:23and she's in prison, and she's in a little jail cell,
- 23:26There'll be no more cameras on her, There'll be no
- 23:28more searches. She'll be able to fall into her routine,
- 23:32she'll be able to hang out with her CELLI, and
- 23:36she'll be able to have all the yard time that
- 23:38she and you want her to have. Because I hope,
- 23:42beyond hope, after her conviction that all of you have
- 23:45this much vigor for her going into a new Year.
- 23:50There are daily evaluations of her. She has shown no
- 23:53indication that that is her intention. She is being completely overmanaged,
- 23:57he said, But he added, I'm worried about her health
- 24:00and her ability to concentrate and to mount her defense.
- 24:04No human beings should have to go through what she's
- 24:06been through. Well, guess what, that's the way the system
- 24:09set up. And you know who set that system up there,
- 24:11mister ian, I'll tell you who set that system up.
- 24:14People just like you, my friend, you and your sister
- 24:17and Jeffrey Epstein. You're the ones, people just like you
- 24:22who have had this system put on the books so
- 24:24that you had loopholes so that only people like us,
- 24:27me and the audience, people that you would consider poor
- 24:31have to suffer. Right. Well, she was on the other
- 24:34foot for once. And guess what, I do not care,
- 24:37all right, Get at me when you want to talk
- 24:40about the whole system being fixed, Get at me when
- 24:43you want everybody to have a fair shake. Until then,
- 24:47stop winging, stop crying, and stop complaining about your rich
- 24:51jazz sister. Nobody cares. It's really degrading. And in terms
- 25:00of the deprivation of sleep, this is not the way
- 25:03that a democratic country should be running its prison system.
- 25:06It's grotesque and in that respect, it amounts to torture.
- 25:10Now you know what torture is. I'll tell you what
- 25:12torture is. Okay, mister Maxwell, I'll tell you what that is.
- 25:15When you have a fifteen year old girl crying in
- 25:17a bazillionaire's house in his kitchen because your sister and
- 25:22Jeffrey Epstein allegedly took her passport away and kept her
- 25:25on an island against her will, that's torture, Okay. That's pain. That,
- 25:31my friend, is what fear is. So we have another
- 25:36one of those little blue blurbs in this article, and
- 25:40it says hellhole Brooklyn jail compared to a third world prison.
- 25:46The Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where Guillaine Maxwell is
- 25:49being held, has been described as a hellhole by a
- 25:52former warden and compared to a third world country by
- 25:56a US judge. Well, what'd you think you were going to?
- 25:59Club fed right out of the gate. Cameron Lindsay, a
- 26:02former warden at the MDC, described life in the jail
- 26:06as a crushing experience, especially for someone who is used
- 26:09to the high life. Oh spare me this bullshit. Spare
- 26:13me this bullshit. So basically what he's saying is if
- 26:15you're poor and you ain't got no dough, eh, you'll
- 26:18be able to adapt these year because you're life shitty
- 26:20anyway and it's not worth anything. That's how these people
- 26:23feel about us, and I'm tired of it, folks. And
- 26:26when I say us and I say poor people, again,
- 26:28I'm not talking about indigent people. I'm not talking about
- 26:31people making thirty grand a year. I'm talking about anyone
- 26:34who is not in their club. That is all of
- 26:36us you. And if you think you're part of a
- 26:39part of their club, you better think again. You go
- 26:44from living a life like Maxwell to all of a
- 26:46sudden being strip search to having people look into your
- 26:49body cavities. He said, Well again, I'm not sitting here
- 26:54saying I think that the justice system is good or
- 26:57the way the prison system is managed is good. It's not.
- 26:59It's it's garbage. And usually I'd be on the side
- 27:03of the people saying we need to fix these conditions.
- 27:06But when it comes to Maxwell, this shit is so
- 27:08hypocritical and it so misses the mark. Where was she
- 27:11when she had all of this money and she was
- 27:13out of jail, working on prison reform. If she cared
- 27:15so much, where's Ian Maxwell been working Ian on prison reform?
- 27:20If he cares so much, so miss me with the BS.
- 27:26A New York judge once said she avoids sending women
- 27:29to the prison because the conditions are similar to some
- 27:32third world country. The prison, with a capacity of sixteen
- 27:37hundred men and women, has had its share of famous residents,
- 27:41including singer R Kelly and farbar bro Martin Schrelly, but
- 27:46it has had more than its share of problems as well.
- 27:50In two thousand and one, following the nine to eleven
- 27:52attacks on New York, investigators found that guards had been
- 27:55carrying out a campaign of harassment against Muslim prisoners, who
- 27:59were slammed face first into walls until they would die.
- 28:03So again, where was Maxwell then? Where was Ian Maxwell then?
- 28:07And that's my point, folks. See, I'll never sit here
- 28:09and act like I think it's a good thing. When
- 28:12the conditions in jail are shitty, they should not be
- 28:15not in this country. We should be abhorred by that. Now.
- 28:20It shouldn't be club fed by any means. But people
- 28:22should be treated with dignity, all right. People should be
- 28:26treated with dignity, and even the most disgusting scum baggish
- 28:29amongst us should be put into a system where their
- 28:36living conditions aren't disgusting. But that said, when people like
- 28:42Elaine Maxwell or these other rich assholes get a little
- 28:45taste and then all of a sudden, they're these warriors
- 28:48that want reform in prison, I don't. I hate it.
- 28:51It makes me sick. Where were you when you were
- 28:53popping all them bottles? Where were you when you were
- 28:56eating all those fantastic seven thousand dollars meals? As poor
- 29:00people were way worse off than you are for a
- 29:04bag of weed, So please miss me with the bullshit.
- 29:11A probe was also carried out into guards accused of
- 29:14beating two inmates between two thousand and two and two
- 29:17thousand and six. In twenty eighteen, two former lieutenants and
- 29:21a guard were jail for repeated rapes and sexual assaults
- 29:24on female inmates, who make up about three percent of inmates.
- 29:29One woman, a Dominican. A Dominican prisoner in jail on
- 29:32a drugs charge recalled being raped at least four times
- 29:35over five months while on night cleaning duty. And you
- 29:38think Elaine Maxwell has it bad? Huh, you think she
- 29:41has it bad? This Dominican lady's in there for drugs,
- 29:44bro okay drugs, and she's getting She's raped at least
- 29:50four times over five months while on cleaning duty. But
- 29:53Elaine Maxwell has it bad? Right? Where were all of
- 29:56you when this was happening to this lady? Where was
- 29:59all the outcry? Then? My message has been clear, and
- 30:05my message has been consistent. The Department of Justice shit show,
- 30:09Bureau of Prisons shit show. It all needs to be reformed.
- 30:14But guess what, I don't want to hear shit from
- 30:17people like Gilane Maxwell about it, okay, because before she
- 30:22had her toes in this water, she didn't give one
- 30:25damn about any of this. More recently, an electrical panel
- 30:31exploded after weeks of malfunctioning, plunging the jail into darkness
- 30:35and cutting off the heat. Inmates told The New York
- 30:37Times that they were left locked in their cells for
- 30:40twenty three hours a day in almost total darkness without
- 30:43heat after the problem first started. And again, look, that's
- 30:47bs that should not happen in any prison in this country.
- 30:50We need to make sure that all systems are go
- 30:54within these prisons, and we should be worried about rehabilitation
- 30:59inside of these prisons. But that's a conversation for another day.
- 31:06Mister Maxwell also slammed prosecutors for allegedly failing to hand
- 31:09over details of the three accusers who are the subject
- 31:13of the case. Now, remember the prosecution is holding their
- 31:16cards close to the vest, and I think I have
- 31:19a sneaking suspicion that the reason is because more obviously
- 31:23more chargers are coming, and they don't want to tip
- 31:25anybody else to their hand, So they're going to wait
- 31:28till the very end before this trial starts, and then
- 31:32it's going to be released. That is the hypothesis that
- 31:36I'm working under. Again, I don't have any concrete evidence
- 31:41to back that up, but it certainly seems to be
- 31:43the way we're going. His sister is pleaded not guilty
- 31:49to helping Epstein recruit and groom three underage girls for
- 31:52sex in the mid nineteen nineties, and not guilty to
- 31:55perjury for denying involvement. She also faces civil litigation from
- 31:59Ems's accusers, twenty of whom are represented by US lawyer
- 32:03Gloria Allred. Oh, good old Gloria Alright, huh, give me
- 32:07a break with her as well, another person who should
- 32:11be as far away from this case as possible. Now,
- 32:14I get it right. People want to get that they
- 32:16need to have a lawyer. And you know, folks here
- 32:18Gloria Alread's name and they're like, oh shit, all right, cool.
- 32:21But the people who follow this kind of thing, I just, man,
- 32:25I don't know. There's no way personally that I would
- 32:28have Gloria Alred involved with me with anything. Also speaking
- 32:33to Radio four on Wednesday, Alread rejected Maxwell's complaints, saying
- 32:37it would be very upsetting to the survivors if she
- 32:39was bailed. A cell is not a palace. A cell
- 32:43is not a wealthy estate with all the things she's
- 32:46used to in it, she said, adding that Bell should
- 32:48be out of the question. The court has determined that
- 32:51she is a flight risk, and that is a main
- 32:53reason why Bell was denied. I am not convinced at
- 32:56this point that anything is changed that she is no
- 32:59longer a flight risk, and I think she needs to
- 33:02stay where she is in custody. She could prepare for
- 33:05trial there, she can meet with her attorneys, and I
- 33:08understand that she has access to information that she could
- 33:11read an order to be prepared for trial now again,
- 33:14not a fan of Gloria alread, but even a broken clock, right, folks,
- 33:18right twice a day, and Gloria already is right about this.
- 33:22She doesn't need to be free to mount the defense.
- 33:25If that was the case, then nobody should ever be
- 33:27in jail as they're waiting for trial, right, What makes
- 33:29her so special? Asked whether he wished he had intervened
- 33:37to end his sister's relationship with Epstein before his disgrace,
- 33:41mister Maxwell said, I wish she'd never met the man, obviously,
- 33:45But we don't live on the same continent. We don't
- 33:47have the same social life, we don't have the same friends.
- 33:50I'm not in the business of talking to my sister
- 33:52about her private life. Oh that's convenient, That's super convenient.
- 33:57But you know she's innocent. Huh. You haven't talked to
- 33:59her about our life, but you know she's innocent. Sure,
- 34:02Ian Maxwell, Sure, buddy. I wonder what you stand to
- 34:06lose in this case. What sort of dirt does your
- 34:08sister have on you, mister Maxwell. Questioning about whether Prince
- 34:14Andrew could be called as a defense witness, mister Maxwell said,
- 34:18I can't answer that. I just don't know, but asked
- 34:21if she still considers Andrew a friend, he said, I
- 34:24don't know. I would assume that she does. Yes. Can
- 34:27you imagine if the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family
- 34:30was called as a witness and prosecution had a chance
- 34:34to cross examine this guy. Oh my god, let me
- 34:38tell you, folks, I'm gonna be there for the trial.
- 34:39So I really hope that this happens, because this is
- 34:43I can't miss TV Prince Andrew getting trotted out as
- 34:46a witness. Now again, I give that like a zero zero, zero,
- 34:50zero point one percent chance of happening, But boy, that
- 34:53would be something. Andrew acknowledged in his BBC Newsnight interview
- 34:58in twenty nineteen that he socialized with Maxwell and Epstein
- 35:02over a number of years until Epstein's conviction in two
- 35:06thousand and eight. After Epstein was released from jail, Andrew
- 35:10again went to see him in New York in twenty ten,
- 35:13what he now claims was a visit intended to end
- 35:16their relationship. Yeah, because that's what the Prince of England does.
- 35:19He hops out a plane, flies for six hours and
- 35:22goes and breaks up with his bestie. The child molester
- 35:25Jeffrey Epstein. Uh what, how about if it was me,
- 35:32I'd be flying over there and punching Jeffrey Epstein's square
- 35:34in the mouth. You get me in this kind of trouble,
- 35:37bro grab him right by the shirt, punch square in
- 35:39the mouth, right there in the middle of Central Park.
- 35:42I mean, are you kidding me? Right now? Fly over
- 35:44there to break up with him. Epstein had pleaded guilty
- 35:51in two thousand and eight to soliciting prostitution from a
- 35:54minor a minor can't be a prostitute, and served a
- 35:58short prison sentence in Florida under a plea deal which
- 36:02is now widely regarded as too lenient. Widely regarded, how
- 36:06about universally panned as bullshit? Can we just call it
- 36:09what it is? Please? The Prince also questioned over the
- 36:14notorious photograph, responding that he had absolutely no memory of
- 36:18that photograph ever being taken. Asked by Emily Maitliss whether
- 36:22he thought the picture was faked, he replied, from the
- 36:25investigations that we've done, you can't prove whether or not
- 36:28that photograph is faked or not, because it is a
- 36:30photograph of a photograph of a photograph. We've already talked
- 36:34about the original photograph and the Kiwi photographer who looked
- 36:39at it and confirmed it. The FBI also looked at
- 36:42it and confirmed it. So please stop with the photo nonsense.
- 36:47We've done past that. Okay, the photo is legit. The
- 36:50photo is real. But he cast doubt on his authenticity
- 36:56by saying he's never been upstairs at Maxwell's home because
- 37:00the dining room and everything was on the ground floor.
- 37:02Oh well, that explains it. So you never took a tour. Huh.
- 37:05You never went to Gielane's house and she was never like, oh,
- 37:08my buddy, Prince Andrew, let us go on the grand
- 37:11toll of my bell Drave townhouse. Sure that never happened,
- 37:15mister bean, looking ass He added that the clothes he
- 37:20was wearing in the picture were his traveling clothes if
- 37:23he was going abroad, rather than what he would wear
- 37:26out for a night in London, and asked whether Epstein
- 37:29might have taken the photo. Andrew said that I've never
- 37:31seen Epstein with a camera in my entire life. Wait,
- 37:35I thought you didn't hang out with Epstein that much.
- 37:36What do you mean your entire life? You see, folks,
- 37:40these stories are so full of holes that it's not
- 37:43even funny. And if we're picking them out and we're
- 37:46punching through them, can you imagine what Miss Allison Moe
- 37:49was going to do? In twenty nineteen, Epstein was arrested
- 37:56on New Sex trafficking charges and kill allegedly in a
- 38:02Manhattan jail in August that year. While awaiting trial, Maxwell
- 38:06subsequently went to ground, and her whereabouts were a mystery
- 38:09for nearly a year after Epstein's death, until she was
- 38:12arrested in New Hampshire last July. She is being held
- 38:16at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and faces up
- 38:19to thirty five years in prison if convicted. Gelaane and
- 38:23Ian Maxwell are two of the nine children of the
- 38:26late British publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell, who died at sea
- 38:30in nineteen ninety one. After his body was found floating
- 38:33in the Atlantic Ocean. An inquest found he died from
- 38:36a heart attack combined with accidental drowning. Oh yeah, I'm
- 38:40sure that's exactly what happened. Ian Maxwell and another brother, Robert,
- 38:45were later accused of fraud relating to the collapse of
- 38:49the Maxwell Empire, but were found not guilty. Oh I'm shocked.
- 38:55I am shocked that these rich guys were found not
- 38:57guilty because that never happens since they have kept a
- 39:01low profile with the BBC, describing today's interview with Ian
- 39:05Maxwell as his first to a broadcaster for thirty years.
- 39:10So it took his sister getting arrested and being held
- 39:15in prison to get this smarmy soob out from underneath
- 39:18his rock. I can only imagine what else is going
- 39:24to turn up as the trial nears. If you'd like
- 39:29to contact me, you can do that at Bobby Kapuci
- 39:31at Protonmeil dot com. That's Bobby c ap u Cci
- 39:37at Protonmeil dot com. You can also find me on
- 39:40Twitter at Bobby Underscore cap u Cci. All of the
- 39:46links that go with this episode can be found in
- 39:49the description box. What's up everyone, and Welcome back to
- 39:53the Epstein Chronicles. It seems at this point anybody you
- 39:59talked to has an opinion about what happened to Jeffrey
- 40:02Epstein in that jail cell. And to tell you the truth,
- 40:06I don't think anyone's in a position to tell anybody
- 40:09else that they're wrong until we have some sort of
- 40:12definitive proof about what happened in that jail. Cell I'm
- 40:16willing to believe anything at this point, well, anything besides
- 40:20the official narrative that the government has tried to spoon
- 40:24feed us. And when you look at all of the
- 40:27facts from the day that Jeffrey Epstein died and how
- 40:31it was handled in the aftermath by the facility, by
- 40:35the medical examiner, the coroner, and everybody else involved, none
- 40:40of it makes any sense. And still after all of
- 40:43these years, we have no answers besides Bill Barr telling
- 40:47all of us that we need to trust them. And
- 40:50like I said before, unless you're Aaron Rodgers and you're
- 40:53the quarterback of my football team, I don't want to
- 40:56hear any of that oh you gotta trust me stuff
- 40:58from known scoundrel like Bill Barr. I mean, does anybody
- 41:02trust this guy, no matter what your political sway is.
- 41:07I don't think anybody has anything good to say about
- 41:11Bill Barr, and he's earned all of it. The guy's
- 41:14an absolute idiot filled with hubris, and another one of
- 41:18these narcissists, one of these unelected bureaucrats that think that
- 41:24they know better than everybody else and that everybody else
- 41:28is too stupid to understand what they understand. So in
- 41:32his mind, he can't understand for a second why any
- 41:35of us wouldn't believe the all powerful Bill Darth Barr
- 41:39when he tells us that everything was on the up
- 41:41and up when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein's death. But
- 41:45neither you or I are willing to give him that
- 41:48kind of trust. So the federal government needs to come
- 41:52correct and they need to be transparent about what happened
- 41:56in that jail cell. And if it was Jeffrey Epstein
- 41:59committing suicide, then let's see the proof. If it was
- 42:03something else, let's know about that as well. But avoiding
- 42:07being transparent after three years is not really going to
- 42:11get things moving in the right direction. Time and time again,
- 42:15you hear people from like the FBI or Congress or
- 42:19the Senate talk about how trust is being eroded in
- 42:22the institutions, and then they want to blame that on
- 42:25pundits or people that are trying to get clicks for
- 42:29their website. And while some of that is true, some
- 42:31of that does play a part, the real problem is
- 42:34the institutions themselves are not doing the right thing. They're
- 42:39the ones that are damaging their reputation nobody else. And
- 42:43that's because a lot of these institutions have become politicized.
- 42:47Whether it's one side or the other, it doesn't matter.
- 42:50What happens is that erodes the trust in the public.
- 42:53When people feel like you have an ax to grind
- 42:56and you're the institution of the FBI, well that's not
- 42:59going to work out well for anyone, and especially it's
- 43:02not gonna work out for society. So if they want
- 43:06to alleviate that and they want to fight back against misinformation,
- 43:10like they always say, then they'd be more transparent, But
- 43:14they won't even do it in a case such as this.
- 43:17I'm not even talking about being transparent about national security secrets.
- 43:22I'm talking about airing out all of the secrets from
- 43:25some scumbag child molester who's already dead. So what's the
- 43:30hold up, Why aren't you releasing this information? And why
- 43:34hasn't the Inspector General's report been put out yet? And
- 43:39piggybacking on that, Glainne Maxwell's brother, Well, he's come out
- 43:43in a new interview and he says that he believes
- 43:47that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered. Now, look, I'm not in
- 43:50the business of agreeing with Glaine Maxwell's family, especially when
- 43:56we're talking about well anything but Ian Maxwell's not wrong
- 43:59here to try and get more answers. There's a lot
- 44:03on the table. But for me, I think that if
- 44:06anyone would have any information about these people in power
- 44:10that are pulling the strings, pulling down on the levers
- 44:14and causing the rest of us chaos, it would be
- 44:16Gleane Maxwell. Right, Well, she's sitting in that jail cell.
- 44:20Has she sang a song for the government, not that
- 44:22we know of. So if Glene Maxwell wants to protect
- 44:27herself and they truly believe that Epstein was clipped, don't
- 44:31you think that singing a song for the government, signing
- 44:33a three to zero two and proffering up would be
- 44:36the way to go. She didn't do any of that,
- 44:39and that's a question that nobody has asked I in
- 44:41Maxwell when they interviewed them. I would think that if
- 44:45Glen Maxwell had something to offer up, she would have
- 44:47offered it up a long time ago. Because now, even
- 44:51if she does offer something up, it's gonna be corrupted.
- 44:55She's already a felon and whatever information she gives up
- 44:58will easily be challenged as somebody who is being self serving. Right,
- 45:03She's already a convicted felon, a known liar. Why should
- 45:06a jury believe her. So Glene Maxwell has certainly painted
- 45:10herself in a corner if she wanted to use some
- 45:12of that information that she says she has to her benefit,
- 45:17and I thought that during her trial we would see
- 45:19more of that. But for whatever reason, Glainne Maxwell went
- 45:23down with the shit, and I've always said that she
- 45:26ended up becoming useless to her handlers. After all of
- 45:30this was kicked into motion once Epstein was arrested for
- 45:33the second time and they did the burn trying to
- 45:36get rid of all of the evidence connecting Epstein to
- 45:39whoever his handlers were. Well, Maxwell was burned at that
- 45:42point as well, and she had outlived her usefulness. But
- 45:46I think that there was already way too much craziness
- 45:49around Epstein getting whacked for them to even attempt something
- 45:53like that with Glen Maxwell. So at this point, Glenne Maxwell,
- 45:57even with any information, is not going to be that
- 46:01useful of an informant. And unfortunately that's what happens if
- 46:05you don't proffer up before you get convicted. But today
- 46:09we have an article from a local station, KRN four,
- 46:14and this station reached out to Ian Maxwell and they
- 46:18got an interview with them. So let's dive into this
- 46:22article and let's see what author Vicky Liviacis has for
- 46:28us headline. Glean Maxwell's brother believes Jeffrey Epstein was murdered,
- 46:34convicted sex trafficker, one time British socialite and former girlfriend
- 46:39of disgraced financier pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Wait, you mean fellow scumbag,
- 46:45fellow child abuser and bipuedle serpent, Right, that's what you
- 46:48mean when you're talking about Glen Maxwell. Glenn Maxwell is
- 46:53currently serving a twenty year sentence in a low security prison.
- 46:57Maxwell sixty one is now appealing her high profile case
- 47:02and good luck with that. I mean, she has a
- 47:05few things to bite her teeth into as far as Scotti,
- 47:08David Goes and juror fifty, but anything more than that,
- 47:12I just don't see how they think they're going to
- 47:15get over the hump, because it looks like a serious
- 47:18uphill battle. Ian Maxwell, Glen Maxwell's brother, spoke to KRN
- 47:24four's Vicky Leviacis from London about where things stand in
- 47:28the appeal process. Gallainne Maxwell was at the center of
- 47:32an international sex scandal involving Epstein. She wishes she had
- 47:37never met jeff Epstein, and because the havoc that relationship
- 47:41has caused, not just Glaine, but really everybody that came
- 47:45in touch with them, said Ian Maxwell. What Ian Maxwell
- 47:48leaves out, though, is that all of these people they
- 47:51chose to hang out with Epstein, They chose to covort
- 47:54with him because it was beneficial to them, So they
- 47:57chose to look the other way while these girls, in
- 47:59these women were being abused. Maxwell is serving a twenty
- 48:05year bid at a Tallahassee federal prison for her role
- 48:08in sex trafficking underage victims. In her recently filed appeal,
- 48:12she says she did not receive a fair trial. Basically
- 48:16it was a stitch up from after Jeffrey Epstein died
- 48:20news government custody when Bill Barr was Attorney General, said
- 48:24Ian Maxwell. And look, I'm not in the business of
- 48:26agreeing with Ian Maxwell, but Bill Barr is an absolute lout,
- 48:31a good for nothing soob and in fact, I'm sure
- 48:35that scuzbag has committed several crimes throughout his career. So
- 48:39someone should do a full look at Bill Barr. The
- 48:43billionaire financier pedophile, was found hung in his jail cell
- 48:46in an apparent suicide. Ian Maxwell, however, questioned the official account,
- 48:52And I wouldn't say hung really right. He had the
- 48:55bed sheets that were cut up hung off the post
- 48:58and he just leaned forward into it. So if you
- 49:00want to call that a hanging, I guess, But to me,
- 49:03it looks more like choking yourself out. The only person
- 49:07to actually take the fall is Jeff Epstein, and he's dead,
- 49:11of course, said Ian Maxwell. We don't really know the
- 49:14extent of what happened that night there. His own family
- 49:17thinks he was murdered. My sister thinks he was murdered.
- 49:20According to her brother, Gallainne, Maxwell believes she was blamed
- 49:24for Epstein's crimes to satisfy public outrage. Ian Maxwell said
- 49:29that his sister has acknowledged the victim's suffering and has
- 49:33expressed considerable empathy for them. Oh yeah, and I'm the
- 49:36King of Siam. Maxwell's appeals claim, among other things, that
- 49:42a juror failed to disclose he was a victim of
- 49:45child abuse prior to being on the jury for her case.
- 49:48Despite reports of a Black Book in secret videotapes. Ian
- 49:52Maxwell said, if it were true, they would have been
- 49:55released by now. The Black Books already out there, You dumb, dumb,
- 49:58When do you mean it would have been release by now.
- 50:00It's already out there, and not only the Black Book,
- 50:03but the Son of the Black Book, the Black Book
- 50:06Part two. As far as the tapes, well, you and
- 50:09I both know that Darren Endyke and Richard Kahn both
- 50:12went into those houses and took whatever they took, and
- 50:16we also know that Epstein was tipped off before he
- 50:18was arrested. When the police got there, there was no computers,
- 50:22there was no tapes because everything was taken and stashed away,
- 50:26probably over at Zoro Ranch. So try again, Ian Maxwell.
- 50:31He still fears for his sister's safety. If there are
- 50:34other people that have not yet come into the prosecution's
- 50:38orbit and who may be powerful people and don't wish
- 50:41to be involved in this somehow, that they would find
- 50:44it an ability to murder my sister or cause her
- 50:48to have an accident that looks like an accident but isn't,
- 50:51said Ian Maxwell. It may take more than six months
- 50:54for Glenn Maxwell's appeal to be heard in the meantime,
- 50:58Ian Maxwell said his family is standing by his sister.
- 51:02We are her family, we love her, we miss her,
- 51:05and we will support and defend her, said Ian Maxwell.
- 51:09Imagine that being your hill to die on, the Maxwell's
- 51:13should go over to the Laundry's house and they should
- 51:16have dinner because they're just as reprehensible. But as far
- 51:20as Jeffrey Epstein being murdered or killing himself, the question
- 51:25is up in the air. In my opinion, I am
- 51:27very agnostic about it. Like I've always said, I'm willing
- 51:30to go wherever the evidence leads us. Unfortunately, the DOJ
- 51:35and the people who were in charge, they refuse to
- 51:38be transparent and give us those answers. So it's going
- 51:42to remain a conspiracy theory until they do so. And
- 51:46they love that right. Once they can call something a
- 51:49conspiracy theory, that means they can demean it, and they
- 51:52can demean anybody who's asking questions about it. Unfortunately, for
- 51:56these boobs in the legacy media, that trick don't work
- 51:59in this case, because we all know this isn't a
- 52:02conspiracy theory. This is a criminal conspiracy, all right, folks,
- 52:08that's gonna do it for this one. All of the
- 52:10information that goes with the episode can be found in
