- 0:05Speaker 2: It's lit, it's a movie.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Let's get it, yo, boutleg cab podcast. Man, we got
- 0:12Speaker 3: a special guest in here. Cowboys in the building.
- 0:15Speaker 2: What's up, man, what's happening? What's happening.
- 0:17Speaker 3: I'm chilling, brother. It's good to see you. It's been
- 0:18Speaker 3: a minute since. I been like five years since I
- 0:20Speaker 3: saw you. What have you been up to?
- 0:24Speaker 2: Working hard, working hard? Thank you? Smart, trying to maneuver,
- 0:28Speaker 2: get over obstacles.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I saw you did lad like a
- 0:32Speaker 3: year ago, and I saw I mean because listen, you
- 0:34Speaker 3: have had one of the bigger records in the last
- 0:37Speaker 3: five years. Envy me was a moment? Was it triple platinum?
- 0:41Speaker 2: It's five times now, five times platinum?
- 0:43Speaker 3: My goodness, that's fire. That's gotta be a dope plaque. Like,
- 0:47Speaker 3: did you get the five times platinum plac yet?
- 0:49Speaker 2: No?
- 0:50Speaker 3: You gotta you gotta buy that one.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm on it. I'm gonna get I'll stopped
- 0:54Speaker 1: at three.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Yeah like that.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Every time you get a new certification, I need to
- 0:58Speaker 3: get a new plaque. It's like Jesus right, But yeah,
- 1:02Speaker 3: I mean, I know you kind of went through it
- 1:04Speaker 3: with with with the label at the time because you
- 1:06Speaker 3: were with RCA M. Now you're fully independent, So congrats
- 1:10Speaker 3: to that. I always congratulate artists when they're independent because
- 1:12Speaker 3: I think it's the way to go.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Finally free type. Shit.
- 1:16Speaker 3: What was the uphill battle for you with you know,
- 1:20Speaker 3: because from a fans perspective, a lot of people like,
- 1:22Speaker 3: we're having a cowboy, you know what I'm saying. So
- 1:23Speaker 3: what's been going on and what was kind of some
- 1:26Speaker 3: of the uh, you know, things you had to go
- 1:29Speaker 3: through with getting out of that deal and and trying
- 1:32Speaker 3: to move on and get this music out that you're
- 1:34Speaker 3: sitting on.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Well, I would say one of the bigger problems was like.
- 1:41Speaker 1: The back end business, you know what I'm saying, Like
- 1:45Speaker 1: getting like different personalities to see out of eye things
- 1:48Speaker 1: like that to actually get the ball rolling. That was
- 1:51Speaker 1: very difficult in my situation, you know what I'm saying, in.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Terms of just like agreeing on what to put out,
- 1:56Speaker 3: agreeing on when to put it out.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Yeah, So from a fan's perspective, it looks like cal
- 2:03Speaker 1: ain't working or he ain't he don't care about us type,
- 2:06Speaker 1: And then I kind of disappeared to them.
- 2:09Speaker 3: I mean that's what I was, like, what happened to cowboy?
- 2:12Speaker 3: My boy hit me? And I was like, oh, because
- 2:15Speaker 3: I remember you did Divide interview that went viral for
- 2:17Speaker 3: other reasons.
- 2:17Speaker 1: It's just a lot of the bs behind closed doors
- 2:20Speaker 1: just slowed down, a consistency and the flow.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Yeah, because people don't understand, like when you're on a
- 2:26Speaker 3: major label, it is very much a mutual relationship. So
- 2:31Speaker 3: in their eyes, per your contract, if you turn a
- 2:35Speaker 3: body of work in and we released it, I owe
- 2:36Speaker 3: you money. Here's an advance for that album. Right, So
- 2:39Speaker 3: in their eyes, their perspective is, well, we got to
- 2:44Speaker 3: feel good about whatever this is. We got to agree
- 2:46Speaker 3: on if we feel strong about all these records, and
- 2:49Speaker 3: then that's when you know, or you know, you got
- 2:51Speaker 3: to catch a moment and force their hand almost right,
- 2:54Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. So there is always that
- 2:56Speaker 3: gridlock on the major label side.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Yeah, So that's what it was. Yeah, for sure, And
- 3:02Speaker 2: and I figured it out. I got up out of there.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Now we work.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Was it easy to get your obviously it wasn't easy
- 3:07Speaker 3: to get your release, But tell me about that process
- 3:10Speaker 3: of getting released off of.
- 3:11Speaker 2: It took a couple of years.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yeah, took a little money, took a strong support system.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Did you have to buy yourself out?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Not necessarily, No, okay, but I had to just let
- 3:28Speaker 1: a lot of things go.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yeah, if you get what.
- 3:31Speaker 3: I mean in terms of, like some of your music
- 3:34Speaker 3: you recorded on their dime. Yeah, so it's like you
- 3:39Speaker 3: record music on their dime, you might not ever hear
- 3:41Speaker 3: that music. But do they still have the right Jesus sorry,
- 3:45Speaker 3: do they still have the right to release that music?
- 3:47Speaker 3: Or is it just like, hey, this is us, you
- 3:49Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, Like, you go do your thing.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really it's really like that, I'm just doing
- 3:55Speaker 1: my own thing. They ain't really worried about the other music,
- 3:57Speaker 1: but I'm sure they would cause a hass if I
- 4:00Speaker 1: try to like.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Drop stuff on you. Yeah, no, that makes sense. I've
- 4:04Speaker 3: had friends of mine who's like been on major labels
- 4:06Speaker 3: and then they'll get with like a really big producer,
- 4:10Speaker 3: like let's just use an example, Timbaland or somebody right right,
- 4:14Speaker 3: and then they get off of the label, but they
- 4:16Speaker 3: still got all these unreleased songs with like these giant producers,
- 4:20Speaker 3: and they're like, ah, do I risk just throwing this
- 4:24Speaker 3: shit out there to see what happens, you know. I
- 4:27Speaker 3: mean it can work both ways. It could work out,
- 4:30Speaker 3: or it could be like, yeah, you get a cease
- 4:33Speaker 3: and assist.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Right now working on like all fresh music. You know
- 4:37Speaker 1: the energy that I'm in right now, how I feel
- 4:40Speaker 1: right now.
- 4:40Speaker 3: So no, the new songs Dope. I watched the video
- 4:42Speaker 3: It's dope, Dope record Snap.
- 4:44Speaker 1: For sure, that was one of the ones where I
- 4:46Speaker 1: was just feeling myself, you know what I'm saying. But
- 4:49Speaker 1: that's the start of it, unchanged, just explaining like what
- 4:53Speaker 1: I really went through for real.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Yeah, well for people who don't know because I saw it.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I mean, you lost a lot of your personal friends.
- 4:59Speaker 3: I think you lost twelve friends in a year now
- 5:02Speaker 3: eight and two eight year eight friends in two years. Yeah,
- 5:06Speaker 3: so that's gotta be like.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Three of them was family members, a older cousin, a
- 5:11Speaker 1: younger cousin, and a cousin around my age.
- 5:16Speaker 3: It's crazy because we hear that same story coming from
- 5:18Speaker 3: so many people from your city, right and it's like,
- 5:22Speaker 3: you know, ge Herbalt has a song called PTSD and
- 5:24Speaker 3: he talks a lot about like the mental strength you
- 5:27Speaker 3: have to have to be from where he's from, where
- 5:29Speaker 3: you're from, you know what I'm saying. And to deal
- 5:32Speaker 3: with so much loss and so much hurt, Like do
- 5:34Speaker 3: you ever feel like you had an opportunity to really mourn.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah, behind closed doors when you were by yourself, you
- 5:41Speaker 1: know what I'm saying.
- 5:41Speaker 2: But you grow I mean numb to it. You know
- 5:47Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 5:47Speaker 1: You get used to it. I wouldn't say numb to
- 5:49Speaker 1: it because you still care, but.
- 5:51Speaker 3: No, but it's it's used to it. Yeah, you can get.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I mean, it's something you can get used to if
- 5:54Speaker 3: you get There's women out here who are getting cheated
- 5:57Speaker 3: on by the same guy for a decade who I know,
- 5:59Speaker 3: And I'm like, well, you're just used to it at
- 6:01Speaker 3: this point, like you don't even care anymore, Like you like,
- 6:04Speaker 3: shit happens to you and unfortunately, no matter how traumatic
- 6:07Speaker 3: it is, like you're kind of conditioned to deal with it.
- 6:10Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I always say it could be worse.
- 6:14Speaker 3: That's what I mean. Everything could always be worse. So
- 6:19Speaker 3: do you ever feel like you have ever like consider
- 6:23Speaker 3: maybe hitting therapy, talking out some of your ship like that.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I tried that before. Oh you did. Yeah, like talking
- 6:30Speaker 2: to somebody all the time.
- 6:33Speaker 1: It work a little bit, It's cool, Yeah, but I'd
- 6:37Speaker 1: rather just do music for real, like that is your therapy.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what it is.
- 6:41Speaker 3: I love that this album you're about to release is
- 6:45Speaker 3: your first album as an independent artist, right, which is
- 6:48Speaker 3: a big deal. Yeah, this is a new space for
- 6:53Speaker 3: you to be who you are with already with a
- 6:56Speaker 3: five times platinum record, and now you're able to kind
- 6:59Speaker 3: of move freely. You're able to kind of call the
- 7:01Speaker 3: shot to do what you want to do. How does
- 7:03Speaker 3: it feel like it? Is it something there's got to
- 7:07Speaker 3: be like a cool just energy to that.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I feel free. I don't know why I
- 7:13Speaker 1: keep saying that, but that's what it feels like. Feel
- 7:15Speaker 1: like a waiter is off my shoulder.
- 7:18Speaker 2: You know.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I get to see certain things, you know what I'm saying.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I get to move how I want to. I mean,
- 7:23Speaker 1: it's just a better positive energy all the way around,
- 7:26Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying.
- 7:27Speaker 2: That's how I feel. You know what I'm excited for.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I was gonna say, what would you say your was
- 7:30Speaker 3: your biggest For people who think you just disappeared, what
- 7:34Speaker 3: would you attribute that to the reason of that is it?
- 7:36Speaker 3: Is it the label thing or is it just like
- 7:39Speaker 3: what was? What was? What's the reason why we haven't
- 7:40Speaker 3: gotten a lot of music from you in the last
- 7:42Speaker 3: few years.
- 7:44Speaker 2: It's a label thing. Yeah, it was a label thing,
- 7:46Speaker 2: bro for sure.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Is it hard to still stay motivated if you feel
- 7:49Speaker 3: like you're kind of like, no.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I'm still living. You know, my two feet still move,
- 7:57Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So I mean I'm grateful
- 7:59Speaker 1: for that.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Yep.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And I can work and I can grind, I can
- 8:02Speaker 1: do what I want to do steal, So I love it.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I ain't tripping. I always stay motivated.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Uh your writing process? Are you the type of artist?
- 8:11Speaker 3: Because when I hear your ship, I feel like you
- 8:12Speaker 3: lay the melody first and then you go in and
- 8:15Speaker 3: feeling the lyrics. Is that what you do? No? Pen
- 8:19Speaker 3: straight like.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Stroud this out?
- 8:21Speaker 3: I love it.
- 8:22Speaker 2: My homies be laughing at me because they'd be like,
- 8:24Speaker 2: what are you doing in there? He's just mumbling and
- 8:26Speaker 2: I'd be like, I'm just humming.
- 8:28Speaker 3: And you know, trying to catch the vibe.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Yeah, And they come back five minutes later it's a
- 8:32Speaker 2: whole song. They're like, oh man, that's crazy.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Is that quick five minutes, you're you're a beast.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'll be going crazy.
- 8:37Speaker 3: I mean you just told me I had like two
- 8:38Speaker 3: hundred unreleased songs.
- 8:39Speaker 2: So yeah, I got a lot of release music.
- 8:42Speaker 3: I'm assuming that there's gonna be a whole lot of
- 8:44Speaker 3: pressure coming from you. H Do you look five years
- 8:50Speaker 3: is a long time from having a record that kind
- 8:53Speaker 3: of puts you on the forefront of hip hop for
- 8:55Speaker 3: a while, right, right? Do you feel like you have
- 8:59Speaker 3: to get any of those like because fans have a
- 9:01Speaker 3: short attention span extended I mean nowadays, man, I feel
- 9:06Speaker 3: like fans are extremely finicky. They're very fair weather fans,
- 9:12Speaker 3: Like they'll be fucking with you one day until the
- 9:14Speaker 3: next shit comes out.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And right, and then that might be better or whatever
- 9:17Speaker 1: it is right for you.
- 9:19Speaker 3: You kind of feel like you're a new artist all
- 9:21Speaker 3: over again, Like you got to kind of remind people
- 9:23Speaker 3: who you are and what you're in, what you're doing,
- 9:25Speaker 3: and like, you.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Know, I feel like that, Yeah, but every day I
- 9:30Speaker 1: get reminded why it's not that still.
- 9:32Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 9:33Speaker 1: When I walk into a room, everybody know what it
- 9:35Speaker 1: is already, so sight somewhere in between you know what
- 9:40Speaker 1: I'm saying. It's just a restart for me, but to
- 9:44Speaker 1: be a fresh artist. Nah, they know what it is already.

- 12:19Speaker 3: whatever you guys had going on Internet? It was just
- 12:21Speaker 3: like some comments getting left.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was just you know, he was
- 12:25Speaker 2: mad in my comments.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, at the end of the day,
- 12:29Speaker 1: the media, you're giving.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Your you were giving your opinion on how you felt
- 12:33Speaker 3: about certain ship. Yeah, you know, it is what it is.
- 12:36Speaker 3: People can feel it. I mean, I just had STG
- 12:39Speaker 3: walk out of an interview because I asked him about label.
- 12:41Speaker 2: So I saw that, bro.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Yeah you haven't walked out yet.
- 12:45Speaker 2: No, No, you cool.
- 12:46Speaker 3: You. I appreciate it.
- 12:47Speaker 2: You asked me weird.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Uh man, talk to me about just Chicago, bro, because
- 12:53Speaker 3: obviously you know there's been so much I mean, shit, man,
- 12:56Speaker 3: Derek has a headline and arena tour right now. I
- 13:00Speaker 3: was just there, oh in Chicago.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that's where I just came from.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Now I opened up. The first day was were you
- 13:07Speaker 3: there when the shooting had happened?
- 13:09Speaker 2: And that was the day after the day You weren't.
- 13:13Speaker 3: At that show?
- 13:14Speaker 1: No, I wasn't there. Okay, the crew was there though,
- 13:17Speaker 1: some of the guys was there. Well, I went there, but.
- 13:19Speaker 3: The first day was cool.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I don't think it was no shooting though. I think
- 13:22Speaker 2: that's cap though.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I don't know. I just know that there was this video.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I know, I know some folks was fighting and somebody
- 13:28Speaker 1: might have got cut or stabbed or something.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I don't think it was no shooting.
- 13:31Speaker 3: I just saw the video everyone running and then everyone
- 13:33Speaker 3: just grabbing merch. Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, see it was a lot of that going
- 13:36Speaker 1: on because the show ended early. Yeah, so I think
- 13:39Speaker 1: the fans was upset for real or something was was
- 13:43Speaker 1: Kodak on that show?
- 13:45Speaker 2: I don't know who was there? Who was there that day?
- 13:47Speaker 3: I feel like kok on that you toured with Kodak? Right,
- 13:50Speaker 3: What was that like.
- 13:53Speaker 2: With Kodak? Was fun?
- 13:55Speaker 3: He seems like a fun Hay?
- 13:56Speaker 2: Yeah, he was cool. He was real cool.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Yeah. He seems like a a guy who I'd like
- 14:00Speaker 3: to have a beer with. That's it though, That's it.
- 14:04Speaker 3: None else. I don't know what else he was doing.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Meant just take the beer man.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I was around Kodak when we was doing shows, you
- 14:10Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. He hopped on my tour bus
- 14:13Speaker 1: a few times. On the record, I had the little
- 14:15Speaker 1: portable studio with me set up. Yeah, so I recorded
- 14:20Speaker 1: a song fro him.
- 14:22Speaker 3: What draft? Did draft? Like? The scarlet? A little scarlet like.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I had to Apollo?
- 14:27Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I hit the Apollo arrow.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:32Speaker 2: We just vabbed the whole time. It was like forty
- 14:34Speaker 2: something shows.
- 14:35Speaker 3: As I say, like from when you kind of popped
- 14:37Speaker 3: initially that now, how do you feel about like kind
- 14:40Speaker 3: of the state of Chicago hip hop?
- 14:43Speaker 1: It's pretty cool. A lot of females is turning up
- 14:47Speaker 1: in our city right now. But it's cool right now.
- 14:52Speaker 3: I had a young lady from Chicago here. Who was it?
- 14:56Speaker 3: We just had somebody here from Chicago.
- 14:57Speaker 2: That's a girl who Melo? Now?
- 15:01Speaker 3: Who the fuck was just Fendy? Yeah, she's great. Yeah,
- 15:08Speaker 3: she's a she's she's super cool. That's who's Mellow Mellow Racks.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Is she from?
- 15:15Speaker 2: Uh No, not Mellow Racks, Mellow Bucks?
- 15:17Speaker 3: Okay, okay, because there's Mellow Racks.
- 15:18Speaker 2: So I think Melo Racks from like Miami.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, because she's on Y M C n B.
- 15:24Speaker 3: I think her. Are you doing any writing or have
- 15:29Speaker 3: you done any been doing any writing for any.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Other artists as recently?
- 15:33Speaker 3: No? Is that ever like a bag you try to
- 15:35Speaker 3: get into?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't. I don't tapped in, you know,
- 15:40Speaker 1: once or twice maybe, you know, I don't. Gave a
- 15:43Speaker 1: few artists a few records. I gave Y g a
- 15:46Speaker 1: record for one of his past albums. Uh. I gave
- 15:50Speaker 1: a few other people some records. I can't really, you know,
- 15:52Speaker 1: say nothing.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I can't say the White g One you could say, yeah.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Yeah, because it was just you know, it was cool.
- 15:58Speaker 1: He hit me one time like, yo, you a song
- 16:01Speaker 1: with one of my producers. I want it straight like that, like, yo,
- 16:04Speaker 1: I want it. I don't want to change nothing on
- 16:05Speaker 1: it or nothing. I just want to throw my verse
- 16:07Speaker 1: on it.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Keep it moving.
- 16:08Speaker 2: And it's on the album Boom That's fire, and I'm like,
- 16:11Speaker 2: I'm with it.
- 16:12Speaker 3: That's dope. Is it hard for you to find like
- 16:15Speaker 3: people who are willing to work with you now that
- 16:19Speaker 3: you're independent on the production side, that are just willing
- 16:21Speaker 3: to kind of like not work with you. But like,
- 16:23Speaker 3: like we were talking a little bit off the air,
- 16:24Speaker 3: like the biggest part about being independent is the headache
- 16:27Speaker 3: of like clear and shit. Yeah, yeah, you know what
- 16:29Speaker 3: I'm saying. So it's like it's almost like they might
- 16:31Speaker 3: still look at you like you got that RCA budget
- 16:34Speaker 3: behind Yeah.
- 16:34Speaker 1: See, that's what I was saying, Like I don't think
- 16:36Speaker 1: I'm somewhere in between, because people still look at me
- 16:39Speaker 1: like that.
- 16:39Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, They like, yeah, we need
- 16:41Speaker 2: fifteen thousand.
- 16:42Speaker 3: You know, this ain't RCA on my own.
- 16:45Speaker 1: It's out of the pocket, you know what I'm saying.
- 16:47Speaker 1: They like, you know that's what it is.
- 16:50Speaker 3: That's crazy. I feel like they're because I always hear
- 16:53Speaker 3: artists have certain rates, like even if you buy a
- 16:55Speaker 3: feature from somebody like the Homies would be like, hey,
- 16:58Speaker 3: I'm in I'm in Phoenix home town. Like I tell people,
- 17:01Speaker 3: if they're independent, this is the price, but if they're major,
- 17:04Speaker 3: this is the price. There's like the indie and the
- 17:06Speaker 3: major price. I feel like for beats, that should be
- 17:08Speaker 3: the same shit, right it should? Yeah, but or like
- 17:12Speaker 3: take a cut, take a nice cut, you know, like
- 17:15Speaker 3: let's collaborated.
- 17:16Speaker 1: And then producers still won a couple points and all
- 17:20Speaker 1: that extra. So it's like, I don't know, man.
- 17:23Speaker 3: You gotta get artificial intelligence to make you some bet.
- 17:27Speaker 2: That's the thing.
- 17:28Speaker 3: I think AI can make beats. Isn't that happening?
- 17:32Speaker 2: They can?
- 17:36Speaker 3: It's not good. I heard one. I think I heard
- 17:37Speaker 3: of fake Timbaland beat that wasn't terrible.
- 17:39Speaker 2: You don't think you don't think we're living in a
- 17:41Speaker 2: matrix bro.
- 17:42Speaker 3: I've really started to think about it more recently with
- 17:45Speaker 3: some of the shit that's been happening, because I always
- 17:48Speaker 3: would be like, like, when you do you see like
- 17:52Speaker 3: the birds frozen in the air. There's like hundreds of
- 17:56Speaker 3: videos of just birds that just stopped flying and they're
- 17:59Speaker 3: just steal in the air.
- 18:02Speaker 2: And they're not flapping the wings and now they're.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Just they're just in the they're just paused.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Bro, showing me the footage to hold on, bro, let
- 18:09Speaker 2: me show you, Bro. I want to see the footage
- 18:12Speaker 2: of that.
- 18:12Speaker 3: This ship is crazy. This ship is crazy. Hold on,
- 18:17Speaker 3: you got the birds?
- 18:18Speaker 2: Is that real? Though? Like?
- 18:20Speaker 3: God, hold on, look, birds got on the water? Yeah,
- 18:28Speaker 3: we got more water. We grab a water over there.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Let me see. Appreciate your brother.
- 18:38Speaker 3: The ship it looks like a flash.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Bird man, get the fuck out of him.
- 18:47Speaker 3: There strings doing nothing is the only one who saw it.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Hell, this ship is the fuck out of here is another.
- 18:57Speaker 4: One fucking birds floating in the air, man, get the
- 19:08Speaker 4: fuck out of here.
- 19:09Speaker 2: That shit looks real.
- 19:10Speaker 3: People saying that it's dimensional glitches.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I don't know what that means.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I do some research. I don't know.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Well, then when you see the like did you see
- 19:20Speaker 3: the government official like saying that they're like aliens are real?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I've seen that, So that it made me
- 19:27Speaker 1: even really be like you're seeing that, Like, what's really
- 19:29Speaker 1: going on right now?
- 19:30Speaker 3: You know?
- 19:30Speaker 2: I'll be on some other ship though. I already already
- 19:33Speaker 2: be thinking of some other shit going on.
- 19:35Speaker 3: What do you think is going on?
- 19:36Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know.
- 19:39Speaker 1: I just feel like she ain't the only ones walking
- 19:42Speaker 1: around this motherfucker like how we think we is.
- 19:44Speaker 3: I think that's the facts for sure.
- 19:46Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 19:47Speaker 3: I think they're preparing us because.
- 19:49Speaker 1: I mean, if you Christian, if a lot of people
- 19:51Speaker 1: walk around say they Christian, I mean they mentioned a
- 19:53Speaker 1: lot of different creatures inside of that book we read,
- 19:56Speaker 1: so she I mean, what did they wipe out the
- 19:58Speaker 1: face of the earth. I don't know.
- 20:02Speaker 3: You know, so you think it might be some demon
- 20:03Speaker 3: shit going.
- 20:04Speaker 1: On, No, some like entities you know, you know they
- 20:07Speaker 1: speak about giants all type of shit, yeah, for sure,
- 20:11Speaker 1: type of.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Non human beings.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Yeah, and shit that you'd be like, oh, this is like,
- 20:17Speaker 3: you know, some cool like fairy tale shit, you know, like.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Yeah, well some of that ship might be for real,
- 20:22Speaker 1: who knows. I mean, I stayed the fuck out of
- 20:25Speaker 1: the way to give my money.
- 20:26Speaker 3: If you look at some of the old school hieroglyphics
- 20:29Speaker 3: from like Egypt and ship, some of the ship in
- 20:31Speaker 3: those hieroglyphics is like, bro, they got to see this shit.
- 20:34Speaker 3: So I'm like, you know what I'm saying, like there
- 20:36Speaker 3: had to be some shit going on that like we
- 20:37Speaker 3: were weren't privy too, because motherfuckers wasn't.
- 20:39Speaker 2: But I ain't gonna get that to aliens though. I
- 20:42Speaker 2: ain't gonna get that to aliens though.
- 20:44Speaker 3: That right there, Well, what's in the hieroglyphics, like the
- 20:47Speaker 3: pictures of like like alien looking motherfuckers that were like carved.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Into like me.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I just feel like that was a different type of being.
- 20:56Speaker 1: It might be an alien to you because you don't
- 20:58Speaker 1: understand it, but.
- 20:59Speaker 3: I guess aliens to us, right, non human? Yeah, I
- 21:02Speaker 3: mean it's kind of the definition.
- 21:04Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, so you're.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Right, you're right, you're right, you're right, you're right, you're right.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I was going to go into some other other shit.
- 21:09Speaker 3: You're good, you got it, but they got like, you know,
- 21:11Speaker 3: fucking all this UFO. Like did you see what happened
- 21:13Speaker 3: in Las Vegas? There was this family in Las Vegas
- 21:16Speaker 3: that called the police because they said there was like
- 21:18Speaker 3: three like ten foot things in their backyard creatures right right,
- 21:24Speaker 3: and with that, and so the family, uh cia came,
- 21:29Speaker 3: the police came. The police saw the fucking thing. So
- 21:31Speaker 3: there's the cops bodycam footage being like, I just saw
- 21:35Speaker 3: that shit take off from your backyard, Like, am I crazy?
- 21:38Speaker 3: Am I not the only people who saw this? But
- 21:40Speaker 3: like some jeepus creepysh like some like some like a
- 21:43Speaker 3: like once the police got there, some like whatever craft
- 21:47Speaker 3: popped out of these people's backyard. So the cops were
- 21:49Speaker 3: like all talking about it, like we're not crazy, we
- 21:51Speaker 3: just saw that, right, And then for like the next month,
- 21:55Speaker 3: the uh there was black trucks that were just lying
- 21:58Speaker 3: up on their street for like an Then the family
- 22:00Speaker 3: was documenting it like on TikTok and shit. They're like, look,
- 22:03Speaker 3: there's more big SUVs outside of our house that have
- 22:06Speaker 3: been here all week.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Some done got out of Area fifty one.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Which is in Vegas. Well it's in Nevada. I used
- 22:13Speaker 3: to live there, so Area fifty one was wild. You
- 22:15Speaker 3: could drive up to like a certain point and.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Then there's some shit over there.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Oh for sure they have. They told me so. I
- 22:22Speaker 3: lived in Vegas for a few years. And you know
- 22:25Speaker 3: who Molly mall is bald producer, used to be on
- 22:29Speaker 3: Love and Hip Hop. He's made a lot of big beats. Yeah,
- 22:32Speaker 3: I think so he had a security guard, and the
- 22:37Speaker 3: security guard was a former like military decorated guy, right
- 22:43Speaker 3: like top knocked security guy. He was explaining to us
- 22:46Speaker 3: when he worked, because he said he worked at Area
- 22:48Speaker 3: fifty one as a contractor, and he said that they
- 22:53Speaker 3: had like other soldiers behind him who had higher clearance
- 22:56Speaker 3: than them, and they like, let's say, they brought him
- 23:00Speaker 3: into a room and they're like, hey, you gotta work
- 23:01Speaker 3: on this wall. But they were being held like I
- 23:07Speaker 3: guard the whole time, so they wouldn't walk anywhere else
- 23:10Speaker 3: in the area, you know what I'm saying. And he
- 23:11Speaker 3: said that while he was there, he saw like a
- 23:15Speaker 3: medal or like some sort of matter. No matter what
- 23:19Speaker 3: you did to it, if you if you blew it up,
- 23:21Speaker 3: if you shot it, if you bent it, if you
- 23:23Speaker 3: tore it apart, it always came back together to the same.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Uh form, some transforming ship.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Yeah, you know who poo Beer is, the writer poo Bear.
- 23:31Speaker 3: He wrote all justin Bieber Shit. Me and poo Bear
- 23:33Speaker 3: was just like we were just listening to this dude
- 23:36Speaker 3: one night at Molly Mall's crib, high as fun.
- 23:40Speaker 2: What the fuck is going on? I can believe it?
- 23:45Speaker 3: Though, shot my brother poo bear.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Man, I think I think ship like that exists.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Man, I just think, you know, they just let us do.
- 23:51Speaker 3: That's why I think they're easing us into some ship,
- 23:53Speaker 3: because they got to kind of ease us in now.
- 23:54Speaker 3: It's like they just can't just out of nowhere, like yeah,
- 24:00Speaker 3: we got to stop the interview real quick to tell

- 26:07Speaker 3: on this new album? Do you have any features or
- 26:09Speaker 3: is it just you or it's just me?
- 26:10Speaker 1: I like that it's just me. I think I just
- 26:13Speaker 1: I mean, I flooded myself with features.
- 26:15Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. It's time to just get
- 26:17Speaker 2: a world of me, you know, build on my fans.
- 26:19Speaker 3: And it's important too because this is your first independent album.
- 26:22Speaker 3: So it's like, yeah, I'm a stand out on my
- 26:23Speaker 3: own for real exactly. I like that.
- 26:26Speaker 2: That's where my mom comes from.
- 26:27Speaker 3: When is the project coming? You gotta release itay yet.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Not an exact day, Give me a couple of weeks.
- 26:32Speaker 2: It's gonna be here.
- 26:33Speaker 3: It's coming.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Tune a real song.
- 26:36Speaker 3: How often do you plan on just dropping now that
- 26:39Speaker 3: you're like, you know, you ain't got the red tape,
- 26:41Speaker 3: the yellow tape around you from the label.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I mean I say every two months, it's not bad. Yeah,
- 26:47Speaker 1: I say every two months, I mean a.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Song or a project project.
- 26:52Speaker 1: But I mean I'm gonna ever get them singles and
- 26:55Speaker 1: I always feed them.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Every too much dropping the project. I like that. Why
- 27:00Speaker 3: be independent if you ain't gonna do it the right way? Right? Yo?
- 27:04Speaker 3: It's crazy when you were at What's the Weirdest? Did
- 27:07Speaker 3: like because you always hear like when people are on
- 27:11Speaker 3: major labels, they get certain features that try to get
- 27:14Speaker 3: pushed onto them. They'll be like, hey, look we want
- 27:17Speaker 3: to get you in with this person, or hey, this
- 27:18Speaker 3: song is just it just just put a verse on
- 27:20Speaker 3: it and it's a hit. Did they try to do
- 27:23Speaker 3: that with you over there? They didn't.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Most of my features came from me, so.
- 27:28Speaker 3: They never were like, hey try this nah nah.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Most of my well, all of my features came from me.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Just like reaching out to people.
- 27:36Speaker 3: People who you fucked with.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Gotti meet derk Alum. It's just like, yo,
- 27:42Speaker 1: hop on this for me.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a.
- 27:44Speaker 3: You know who Bob is. So back in the day,
- 27:47Speaker 3: like Atlantic Records had a hard time popping Bob off,
- 27:50Speaker 3: which was on their damn not him because he's extremely talented.
- 27:53Speaker 3: So at the time, Bruno Mars was shopping around all
- 27:57Speaker 3: these hooks because no one knew who he was. He
- 27:58Speaker 3: was just a writer. And uh, what was that first
- 28:03Speaker 3: Bob song? Was it Beautiful Girls? So that song go
- 28:09Speaker 3: beautiful Girl? What's it called nothing on You? Nothing on You?
- 28:14Speaker 1: Oh?
- 28:14Speaker 3: Yeah, called nothing on You? So Atlantic was just trying
- 28:19Speaker 3: to get somebody to take the song. Loupe Fiasco cut
- 28:23Speaker 3: on it and then didn't like it, so it should
- 28:26Speaker 3: have been loop a song he passed on it.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Why did he do that? I don't know.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Igo Goat, by.
- 28:33Speaker 2: The way, tweaked one.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Of the greatest rappers of all time for talking about
- 28:36Speaker 3: the straight lyricism. Uh, and then Bob ended up with it.
- 28:41Speaker 1: I was gonna say, but yeah, I usually be hot
- 28:46Speaker 1: when I was young.
- 28:48Speaker 3: For sure. What about the OG's in Chicago tapping in
- 28:51Speaker 3: with you? Like got a loopey type of dude or yeah,
- 28:53Speaker 3: obviously yay's the Goat you know?
- 28:54Speaker 2: Uh Yay? I mean I tapped in with ya.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Camp definitely tapped in with a lot of the other.
- 29:05Speaker 2: Local legends, crucial conflict individuals.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Like that L E. P Bumpy shot the bump Jay.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Yeah you about fucking uh? Do or Die?
- 29:19Speaker 2: I ain't chopped it up.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Would you listen to growing up? Yeah?
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I still I still listen to do it died
- 29:25Speaker 1: to this day, I might be cleaning up the house.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Crucial Conflict slept on motherfucking groups ever facts the first
- 29:32Speaker 3: Crucial Conflict Awn, which you probably weren't alive for. It's
- 29:34Speaker 3: called the Final Tick.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Right when they come out what you I think that.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Was ninety five or six, yet it might have been
- 29:41Speaker 3: ninety six. They had a song called Hey show Down.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Yeah I was probably I was like ten. You weren't
- 29:48Speaker 3: born yet, though, but yeah, do or Die? Pope pimpin man,
- 29:51Speaker 3: what are we talking about? Have you, you know, Twists
- 29:53Speaker 3: out there doing gun classes. Yeah, he's like teaching people
