The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John. [Revelation 1:1] Revelation is Apokalypsis in the Greek. It literally means Unveiled. The Revelation of Jesus Christ is the Unveiled Jesus Christ. That is something to really take in and ponder. The Jesus we worship in the here and now [by faith] is Unveiled. He is no longer the One who made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
