  Speaker 1: 52 weeks of prayer and Bible study that's what I'm celebrating this morning.

  Speaker 1: 52 weeks of prayer and Bible study just in this year alone, and it has been so good to just watch how the Lord has expanded and blessed through technology, through this platform and through people to get his word out.

  Speaker 1: So, lord, we just thank you that you have oh God, you've touched so many people this year through this platform, through these messages.

  Speaker 1: Lord God, we thank you for all and everything that you have already done and as we're preparing our hearts and minds for 2024 and we're stepping into new promises, we just want to pause this morning and just thank you for everything, lord God, as we just think about the breath that we have in our lungs and the homes and the shelter that we have.

  Speaker 1: Lord God, we thank you that you have healed, you have blessed.

  Speaker 1: Father, you have closed doors that we had no business opening.

  Speaker 1: We thank you for unanswered prayers that we should never utter, lord God, because you had a better way to bless us.

  Speaker 1: So, as I was preparing again, we're going to go into Nehemiah and really position ourselves for next year, but we are not using amen.

  Speaker 1: And so there are five things that I want to cover before we go into this prayer in Nehemiah, and I'm going to share my screen, and I'm going to share my screen so y'all can read it out, and, for those of you who are listening, I'll release the word so that you can hear that as well.

  Speaker 1: But there are five things I had in my notes this morning as I was preparing, and the Holy Spirit was just reminding me and bringing me back to some of the key lessons that we picked up this year and some areas where I think and hope that we've all been blessed.

  Speaker 1: The first one is a reminder that you shared with me yesterday, that Lord shared with me yesterday, that God uses man to bless you.

  Speaker 1: God uses man to bless you.

  Speaker 1: You know how, in Genesis, where the word talks about us meaning man, meaning man and woman, human humans, you know that we have dominion on this plane, on this, on this earth.

  Speaker 1: Right, we have dominion on this earth.
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: Well, in the same way, god had to become man, Right, god had to become man through Jesus.

  Speaker 1: Right, god is God, but God is man, and that's why he confuses a lot of people.

  Speaker 1: But God uses man to bless you, and so I pray that, as we had, we covered so many things this year that I hope that you go back and read some of the lessons, because you really talked about how you and I can be a blessing to somebody else, how we can be the vessels that bring hope and joy and peace on our jobs and our families and our lives in our community.

  Speaker 1: That we are actually the the, the men and women that he's been.

  Speaker 1: He's given this charter to.

  Speaker 1: A lot of times, people ask me you know what's my purpose and what's my identity?

  Speaker 1: And I'm telling you your purpose is to serve, your purpose is to worship, but he will use you as a vessel.

  Speaker 1: If you're willing to bless other people, if you want breakthrough in your family, then be that breakthrough.

  Speaker 1: You be that person.
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: That's the breakthrough in your family, right?
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: So God uses man to bless you, and a lot of times we miss that man or women that's meant to bless you, because it doesn't look like what you think it's gonna look like.

  Speaker 1: So I pray that 2024 you'll ask God to give you the wisdom to know when it's someone who's been sent to bless you.

  Speaker 1: Right, in the same way you asked Lord, show me if this person sent the curse me and remove the people.

  Speaker 1: Do not that you know that I'm not supposed to be.
• 6:18
  Speaker 1: You know, in this season in my life you got to be okay with putting some people on the side because that's not the season.

  Speaker 1: You're in, right and In is again asking God to show you, reveal to you who it is that he's put into your life and watch it.

  Speaker 1: He will send the right people.
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: You know we call them divine helpers.
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: Right, he will send divine help to you.
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: Lord, send me divine help to make it through this next season in my life, as I'm going to the next chapter In my life.

  Speaker 1: Lord, send me divine help.
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: I said you know, and he will send those people and you will know that they are there.

  Speaker 1: They're sent to help you, they're sent to support you.
• 6:53
  Speaker 1: But again, you got to be.
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: You got to be wise and knowing who it is, because it doesn't always look like what you think.

  Speaker 1: It's not always your friends, amen, it's not always your friends.

  Speaker 1: So we got to be wise and ask God to show you and be that person.

  Speaker 1: That's gonna be the, the blessing to someone else.

  Speaker 1: Lord, let me be the blessing for somebody else, amen.

  Speaker 1: So that's the first thing.

  Speaker 1: The second thing I wanted to remind you that we talked about is not swallowing your testimony, and a lot of times again, we get blessed and we bounce.

  Speaker 1: We don't share the testimony of, of how we've been healed or saved through something you know, or a lot of times.

  Speaker 1: People are looking for these humongous encounters and I thank God that I can have Heavenly encounters.

  Speaker 1: But, you know, I thank God for the grace, for the, for the smaller things that happens for me as well.

  Speaker 1: I just the day-to-day blessings.
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: I mean here's another, here's one.

  Speaker 1: Like yesterday, I was so grateful for my daughter.
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: This gonna be small, it's gonna be crazy for something else, but yesterday I was.
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: I was so blessed by my daughter because I am really afraid of lizards.

  Speaker 1: I was taking down all the Christmas decorations and packing away.

  Speaker 1: We have a Tree that we use every year and I don't know where this lizard came from, but this lizard showed up in my house and I I literally wanted to pack up and leave.

  Speaker 1: I was so scared.
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: But my daughter came down.
• 8:17
  Speaker 1: I was literally I was screaming.
• 8:18
  Speaker 1: I was on the phone with my sister and I was screaming Help for my daughter.

  Speaker 1: My daughter comes down as calm as ever.
• 8:26
  Speaker 1: She covered it with a bucket.
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: My husband, it came home from the gym and they took that, lizard out and that was that.
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: But that was a huge blessing for me.
• 8:36
  Speaker 1: It was a huge blessing for me and so I was.
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: I was telling my sister man, I'm so grateful to God that he blessed me with family who didn't judge me and say I was crazy.

  Speaker 1: They just came to the rescue and they helped me and even that, even that's a blessing and the testimony.
• 8:53
  Speaker 1: I was testifying that I was so grateful to God for blessing me with this family, this family that I have.

  Speaker 1: That's.
• 8:59
  Speaker 1: That's an example of a testimony that a lot of times things happens in your happen, in your life, and you think it's too small to thank God for it.

  Speaker 1: I thank God for everything.

  Speaker 1: Okay, but be be in the mindset that you know you don't need to swallow your testimony.

  Speaker 1: Somebody needs to hear that.
• 9:15
  Speaker 1: Somebody needs to hear that you've gone through a situation and you've overcome and again, it doesn't have to be these monumental things, right, but sometimes it's just in the small things how he, you know, he delivered you to paying your bills this month, they helped you find the job, or you got you got promoted this year.

  Speaker 1: Thank you God for that.

  Speaker 1: You know, sometimes God will use people to chase you into your destiny.

  Speaker 1: So even that, you know, when we're talking about how there are people on our jobs we can't stand and we can't deal with, maybe that person was put in place to chase you to the destiny that God has for you.

  Speaker 1: So I thank you, lord, for those testimonies where I've been chased into my destiny because he put someone around me to make me Uncomfortable where I am.

  Speaker 1: Amen, don't swallow your testimony y'all, because they are meant to bless somebody else.

  Speaker 1: So anytime you can't talk about how good God is.

  Speaker 1: A lot of times we are talking about how you know People are coming for us and the enemy is coming for us.

  Speaker 1: You stop giving the enemy more praise and you give the God.

  Speaker 1: Amen, amen, amen.

  Speaker 1: The third thing is that our mindset matters, right, we talked a lot about how our or how we perceive things and what our thoughts and how our Thoughts become our words and those words become our actions.

  Speaker 1: So you what?

  Speaker 1: What are you thinking about yourself and how you see yourself in the kingdom and how God sees you all of those things Time you know, tie into your mindset how you carry out things, how you do things, how you activate things in your life.

  Speaker 1: It starts with what you think, and for you to feed your thoughts, you got to go back into the word and again you got to see what God says about you.

  Speaker 1: So, because I am delivered in my mind, y'all, you can't tell me anything that's not in the word if the word doesn't say it about me.

  Speaker 1: I'm an overcomer.
• 10:57
  Speaker 1: So I know a lot of women we talk about being problems 31 women plant seeds and all those right, yeah, we invest in the right Time and space and you all those things.

  Speaker 1: But you gotta, you gotta, you gotta really think About what you're saying about yourselves.

  Speaker 1: You got to really think through some of the old thoughts that you've.
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: You've been carrying these carcasses for many, many years, something that happened to you in the fifth grade or fourth grade.
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: Some of these things you've got to let go so that you can move into the next chapter of their life.
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: Close those doors and keep on moving.
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: But your mindset really matters and it impacts how you do business, how you speak about yourself on the job.

  Speaker 1: If you're looking to be Promoted, even in, even in the way that you see yourself, you speak about yourself, the way that you show up in the community, your mindset really matters.

  Speaker 1: So we talked a lot about that.
• 11:48
  Speaker 1: So y'all go back and look at some of those, some of those lessons.

  Speaker 1: We talked about your mindset.
• 11:54
  Speaker 1: The other thing we talked about was being pure of heart, and so we talked a lot about, you know, confession.

  Speaker 1: We talked a lot about fasting.
• 12:03
  Speaker 1: Fasting really is, is breaking the flesh, right again, fasting is great, but that's not the only way you worship God, is not the only way he gives attention, right.

  Speaker 1: But we talked about being pure of heart and having a contrite heart and a broken spirit, that those are the sacrifices to the Lord and that's pleasing in him.

  Speaker 1: When you're coming to him with a pure heart and asking for forgiveness and making things right in your life, and when you, when you, when you have a pure heart, when your intentions are pure, it starts to show itself up in the way that you operate in life, people start to pick up.

  Speaker 1: People will look at you and go, oh, she's a little bit different, something different about that one right, they can see that you're pure of heart.

  Speaker 1: So we talk about that a lot and I urge you guys to go back into Psalm 51.
• 12:49
  Speaker 1: That is the Psalm that I Usually go into when I'm going into a season of or a deep prayer, deep worship.

  Speaker 1: But I want to position myself by asking for forgiveness and asking to have a more pure heart.

  Speaker 1: So Psalm 51 is where y'all need to go.

  Speaker 1: If you don't know it now, you know it.
• 13:08
  Speaker 1: It's Psalm 51.
• 13:10
  Speaker 1: And then the.
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: The last thing before I go into Nehemiah's prayer is Everything isn't.

  Speaker 1: Everything isn't.
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: Everything isn't the enemy, everything isn't a curse.

  Speaker 1: Okay, there are so many times I hear believers say this a lot of times because we don't understand how God works Right.

  Speaker 1: And again, the truth is, if you truly believe that all things, all things, are working together for your good, Then you start to understand that even the things that you think is bad or evil is working for your good.

  Speaker 1: I carry that favor.
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: All things are working together for my good.
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: So same thing in deliverance ministry.
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: They all deliverance.
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: Y'all.

  Speaker 1: Forgive me y'all, but everything isn't a demon.

  Speaker 1: Everything isn't the enemy.

  Speaker 1: Stop giving credit where credit is not due.

  Speaker 1: He does not have this kind of power over.

  Speaker 1: You've got to understand your authority through the Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 1: You've got to understand who you're riding with right.

  Speaker 1: You got to understand how heaven operates.

  Speaker 1: Everything isn't the enemy.

  Speaker 1: A lot of it is you.
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: We're making the decisions.
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: We're speaking these words.
• 14:21
  Speaker 1: We're planting some seeds that need to be plucked up.
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: Okay, sometimes the Lord sends situations to test you.

  Speaker 1: You ask him for more, and so he sends you a situation to test you See if you can handle it right.

  Speaker 1: He might put you in the job where you feel like you're being persecuted and yet, instead of thinking of that as a Persecute persecution, use this as a, as a test.

  Speaker 1: He's testing your faith to see if you truly trust him.
• 14:45
  Speaker 1: And how will you operate when things aren't going your way Right, when your health is failing, when you've lost someone through all kinds of loss financial, mental health, all kinds of things.

  Speaker 1: You've got to understand when, when God is putting you through a season, also, that he's sending help your way.

  Speaker 1: So everything isn't a curse, everything isn't an enemy.

  Speaker 1: You've really got to accept and understand when the word says that all things are working together for your good because they are.

  Speaker 1: Give credit to heaven where, where credit is due, you have a lot more for you than you have against you.

  Speaker 1: So now this brings us into our shift for 2024.

  Speaker 1: So we've covered all these things again.

  Speaker 1: God uses man to bless.

  Speaker 1: I'm looking at my notes on this side.

  Speaker 1: Don't swallow your testimony, your mindset.

  Speaker 1: Matters Got to come pure of heart and everything isn't a curse or the enemy.

  Speaker 1: Give credit to the Lord.

  Speaker 1: All things are actually working together for your good and we needed to know all that because, as we are moving into 2024 and many of us are asking the Lord to make us even more of a blessing.

  Speaker 1: Lord, I want more breakthrough.

  Speaker 1: Lord, I want to shift into a larger territory.

  Speaker 1: Lord, I need you to bless my family.

  Speaker 1: Give my son a job, give my wife a job, my husband or whatever those things are.

  Speaker 1: Father, help my business to grow.
• 16:03
  Speaker 1: You know, father, heal me.

  Speaker 1: Father, heal my mind, heal my heart.

  Speaker 1: A lot of us there are people who lost loved ones this year.

  Speaker 1: You know, asking the Lord to heal our hearts and our families are God.
• 16:15
  Speaker 1: You know, as we're thanking God already for all of the provisions that we'll have for what we call the megadors of Opportunity.

  Speaker 1: We ask the Lord for vision, y'all.

  Speaker 1: We always start off the the new year.

  Speaker 1: Many people have the great big vision boards.
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: He spent a lot of time putting up pictures and trying to visualize what your year is.

  Speaker 1: I'm gonna challenge you.

  Speaker 1: I, the, the Holy Spirit, did this with me last year.

  Speaker 1: I did not do a vision board.
• 16:39
  Speaker 1: I Did not.
• 16:41
  Speaker 1: My vision board was blank.
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: It was white.
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: And the reason why it was blank?
• 16:45
  Speaker 1: Because he was like, let me fill it this year.

  Speaker 1: There was no way.
• 16:49
  Speaker 1: There was no way.
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: Listen to me.

  Speaker 1: There was no way that I was able to even guess, visualized Nothing, and nothing that I thought was gonna go down in 2023 if I had that vision board up actually happened.

  Speaker 1: He, he put that thing in overflow.

  Speaker 1: Do you understand?

  Speaker 1: So sometimes you have to let the Lord fill up your vision board.

  Speaker 1: So start out with a pure white board and say Holy Spirit, have your way.

  Speaker 1: I Dare you to do that for 2024.

  Speaker 1: Vision board is just all blank.
• 17:22
  Speaker 1: And just say Lord, god, have your way.

  Speaker 1: You fill this board as you see fit.

  Speaker 1: I will go where you send me.
• 17:28
  Speaker 1: How about that?

  Speaker 1: Do that for 2024.
• 17:31
  Speaker 1: And then, as he's sending you these opportunities, then let him use you where he sent you and fully trusting God.

  Speaker 1: Right, and I promise you, by the end of 2024, you're gonna look back at that board and you feel like I cannot believe the Lord has used me in so many ways.

  Speaker 1: It's been such a blessing, right?

  Speaker 1: So that's my challenge your vision board put down the magazines.

  Speaker 1: Don't cut out no cars and what outfits you wanna wear.

  Speaker 1: Don't even think about the job you want.
• 17:59
  Speaker 1: Lord, all of what heaven has for me.

  Speaker 1: That's what I want, father.

  Speaker 1: Open the doors of heaven for me, flood my family with blessings.

  Speaker 1: But you know, literally, lord, wherever you send me, I will go, and that's my vision board.

  Speaker 1: Wherever you want me to go, that's where I wanna go.

  Speaker 1: Father, you will bless me.

  Speaker 1: Let it be an overflow and leave that board clean and let the Lord fill your vision board for 2024.

  Speaker 1: That's my challenge.

  Speaker 1: All right, so to get there.

  Speaker 1: To get there, we're gonna do Nehemiah's prayer.

  Speaker 1: So bear with me.

  Speaker 1: I am gonna share my screen so that y'all can see where I'm coming from.

  Speaker 1: This is the ESV version and the reason you know we're gonna go.

  Speaker 1: I've got a couple of prayer points in here and then I'm gonna release the word to you and then I'm gonna recommend that you go back and speak this prayer into your family.

  Speaker 1: Okay, you don't need a prophet to do this, you can prophesy in your own life.

  Speaker 1: Just go back into the board and do it yourself.

  Speaker 1: Amen, All right.

  Speaker 1: So the words of Nehemiah, and I'm gonna mess up all these names of Hakeliah.

  Speaker 1: Now, what happened?
• 19:09
  Speaker 1: In the month of Chislev in the 12th year, as I was in Sousa, the citadel that Hannah and I, one of my brothers, came with certain men from Judah and I asked them concerning the Jews who escaped, who had survived the exile, concerning Jerusalem, and they said to me the remnant there in the province who had survived the exile, is in great trouble and shame.

  Speaker 1: The wall of Jerusalem is broken down and his gates are destroyed by fire.

  Speaker 1: Now it's important to understand the context of why Nehemiah was praying this prayer, but we're also gonna put this in context of our lives today.

  Speaker 1: Okay, so for those of us who are surviving trouble this year, or maybe you're surviving lack this year, maybe some things have fallen apart your what we call the wall of Jerusalem, your protection was taken down, job loss, or maybe you've had other things that had fallen apart this year.

  Speaker 1: You've had some bad news this year, but you've survived some things this year, some things concerning your place, where you were, where you were situated, and so we're gonna look at this prayer through.

  Speaker 1: That's the lens that the Lord gave me for this Cause.

  Speaker 1: I was like, why are we praying for this?
• 20:20
  Speaker 1: But we're gonna pray through, we're gonna use this prayer for ourselves, in the situations we are in, to get us into the next year.

  Speaker 1: So I'm gonna release the words first and then I'm gonna come back and show you what it means for you.

  Speaker 1: So the word says as soon as I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days and I continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven.

  Speaker 1: So right away you see that the heart position you need to be in is.

  Speaker 1: It's not that I'm not, you know, don't hear what I'm not saying.
• 20:53
  Speaker 1: It's not saying for you to go sit down and mourn for days.

  Speaker 1: It started with fasting and praying before God.
• 20:59
  Speaker 1: So your position is that you're fasting and you're praying before God.

  Speaker 1: So even starting this prayer maybe this today is your day you just, you know, fast for this morning or whatever the Holy Spirit tells you and then pray before God for this.

  Speaker 1: And the word says and I said oh Lord, god of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, let your ear be attentive and your eyes be open to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for the people of Israel, your servants, confessing the sins of the people of Israel which we have sinned against you.

  Speaker 1: The location is something, so in this situation, the people of Israel could be the people of Alpharetta, georgia, the people of Michigan, the people of the UK, the people where you are.

  Speaker 1: Make this prayer, tie it back to where you are and place yourself in this prayer.

  Speaker 1: This part where it talks about being unfaithful because we all have been unfaithful to God and being scattered out or being exiled he was showing me and being pulled away from the promises.

  Speaker 1: When you're in a place where the Lord's name is, it's a very different set of blessings.
