Good Talks: How Ranked Choice Voting is Going in Alaska For Good, Bad, & Indifferent w/ Sarah Montalbano
Our guest Sarah Montalbano of the Alaska Policy Forum joins us to talk about the implementation of ranked choice voting in Alaska. Sarah explains the good, the bad, and the very confusing of what has been a messy roll out, complicated by the death of long time Alaska Representative Don Young (R), a huge field, and sudden change to the new system. Plus Sarah talks about the attempted comeback of Sarah Palin, the enigma of Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and the surprising results for non-partisan candidates in the new system.
