- 0:00Speaker 1: You know, you know what, Portia and I have to
- 0:02Speaker 1: take off my glasses because I was trying to hold
- 0:05Speaker 1: off talking about this, but you left me no choice.
- 0:09Speaker 1: But I'm really upset about this. And welcome Internet's to
- 0:24Speaker 1: a new season, a new episode of Castle Black. We
- 0:29Speaker 1: are back the blackest Game of Throne podcast in all
- 0:32Speaker 1: of the realms. It is I one of your hosts,
- 0:35Speaker 1: Tatiana King aka Sir Arlen of the Dollar Tree aka
- 0:38Speaker 1: Lord of Lightsabers aka it was all a dream fire,
- 0:42Speaker 1: Tatiana handed the King, Tatiana Blackwoods and Tatiana the kings Layer,
- 0:47Speaker 1: and I am rejoined by the most famous master in
- 0:52Speaker 1: all of the realms.
- 0:54Speaker 2: That's me Portia aka Measter p aka Dragon Right aka
- 1:01Speaker 2: Lady Mary Jane of High Garden aka Keeper of the
- 1:06Speaker 2: Ice and Fire Tea.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Ooh, I like that one. That's a nice new one.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I like that excellent. So welcome everybody. We are back
- 1:15Speaker 1: with House of Dragons. I'm going to say the way
- 1:19Speaker 1: I want to say it. Don't don't love people love
- 1:21Speaker 1: to correct us. I'm going to say the way I
- 1:23Speaker 1: say it. Okay, I'm black. I'm going to take out
- 1:25Speaker 1: words put in words. We're back for season three. This
- 1:28Speaker 1: is episode one, Salt and Sea, Fire and Blood. Before
- 1:33Speaker 1: we jump right into things, I want to say, were
- 1:36Speaker 1: you very much anticipating season three to come out? Where
- 1:40Speaker 1: remember if you think about where we left off versus
- 1:43Speaker 1: where we are now, and it's been a while, has
- 1:44Speaker 1: been like two years since basically we last talked about it,
- 1:49Speaker 1: So let me try it a second. About it during
- 1:51Speaker 1: Duck and Egg but.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Like how hype were you for
- 1:55Speaker 2: this newest season, To be honest with you or not,
- 1:59Speaker 2: I think I think Dunk an Egg like put me
- 2:03Speaker 2: in a place where I was like, probably in my
- 2:06Speaker 2: best mindset to return to this world, like okay, like
- 2:09Speaker 2: I feel the energy of like want to be back
- 2:12Speaker 2: in West ROAs again, okay, but at the same time
- 2:15Speaker 2: to be back with this part of.
- 2:17Speaker 1: The world, like this history of the world. You know.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I wasn't like chopping at the bit about it. I
- 2:24Speaker 2: was like, oh my god, I can't wait till it
- 2:25Speaker 2: gets on the TV. But I knew it's like out
- 2:28Speaker 2: this weekend, and I was like, okay, Like when I
- 2:30Speaker 2: have like preparation for this recording, I'm like, I'm gonna
- 2:34Speaker 2: be happy to like get back into conversation be like
- 2:37Speaker 2: in the chats again about like what's going on here
- 2:40Speaker 2: and talking to you and everyone from fan fam about it.
- 2:43Speaker 2: So I guess it's more about the fan experience, to
- 2:45Speaker 2: be honest, than it really is necessarily about the show itself.
- 2:48Speaker 1: How about you? Like you? Like I was on the
- 2:52Speaker 1: Dunken Egg vibe where I think I had said before,
- 2:55Speaker 1: back when we were reviewing that that it gave me
- 2:59Speaker 1: like it was it's how the Dragon, but it gave
- 3:01Speaker 1: me a different feeling, like it wasn't just all dread
- 3:05Speaker 1: and you know, let's root for the murderers, right, Like
- 3:08Speaker 1: it was just like it was. I don't know, it
- 3:11Speaker 1: was just different. It was a more lighter feeling. Obviously
- 3:14Speaker 1: how Duncan Egg was a different approach. It was more
- 3:17Speaker 1: like tongue in cheek. It was more commony. Yeah, it
- 3:21Speaker 1: was a lot more than that. And now you know
- 3:23Speaker 1: we're back to the you know, the infighting, right, So
- 3:27Speaker 1: I knew it was coming. I was preparing myself when
- 3:29Speaker 1: the promo was out, like it made me feel a
- 3:32Speaker 1: way like okay, like I gotta get I gotta lock in,
- 3:35Speaker 1: and I think that's what it is. Like I just realized,
- 3:36Speaker 1: like damn we back to this. I gotta lock in.
- 3:39Speaker 1: It's about to be all hell and fury. Nobody's gonna
- 3:42Speaker 1: be happy. From my understanding, everybody gonna get it in
- 3:47Speaker 1: some way, shape or form. You know, we'll get there
- 3:49Speaker 1: when we get there, but nobody wins in the family
- 3:52Speaker 1: feuds exactly right to quote the famous prophet jay Z.
- 3:57Speaker 1: So I mean, I I don't know. So as mentioned,
- 4:01Speaker 1: this is the first episode back, everybody's ready to fight,
- 4:05Speaker 1: like it's like immedia now. I will say I appreciate that.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I appreciated that this was an action filled episode that
- 4:11Speaker 1: it wasn't like there was there was plenty of dialogue,
- 4:14Speaker 1: but it wasn't like any slow or lolls in this show.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It was pretty much goal from Jump Street And how
- 4:21Speaker 1: what did you think about that?
- 4:23Speaker 2: I think even from the recap, we were getting like
- 4:25Speaker 2: it was like preparing us for like, Okay, we're not
- 4:27Speaker 2: in some people are trying to pick sides. Now we're
- 4:31Speaker 2: not like all the sides are chosen and uh, we're
- 4:34Speaker 2: just being ready for what's about to be.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I did appreciate that. I think that the one thing.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I want to say from like the other thing I
- 4:41Speaker 2: appreciate about each new season is that there's always a
- 4:44Speaker 2: new intro, so this one was the Tapestry, but it
- 4:49Speaker 2: being focused.
- 4:50Speaker 1: On primarily the dragons.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I think it's a good kind of sad, like I
- 4:55Speaker 2: love the dragons, but it's kind of like a last
- 4:57Speaker 2: hurrah to like seeing all the all this many dragons,
- 5:01Speaker 2: because not all of them someone I've already been taken out.
- 5:03Speaker 2: But you're going to see this, sus We're going to
- 5:05Speaker 2: see this many dragons on the board. This season is
- 5:07Speaker 2: the last season we're going to see that. So they
- 5:10Speaker 2: making that very clear by having us start off the
- 5:13Speaker 2: season with a battle and you know, spoiler but no spoiler,
- 5:17Speaker 2: we're going to we see a dragon taken out.
- 5:19Speaker 1: By the end of this episode, we see mad battles
- 5:22Speaker 1: and like as even on the ground, like it was
- 5:26Speaker 1: Lancy Air, every literally everywhere there could be a fight,
- 5:29Speaker 1: a fight was had. We opened, you know, we start
- 5:32Speaker 1: with Damon and him going crazy, what was he in
- 5:35Speaker 1: the Riverlands? Like where the fuck was Damon? And the
- 5:38Speaker 1: rest of them like, so.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Yeah, he's in the riverlands, Like, but the Tolleys are right,
- 5:42Speaker 2: And there's the good thing about that. I guess it's
- 5:46Speaker 2: like outside of hair in Hall. Right, so he's still
- 5:48Speaker 2: he's made claim for hair in Hall. He's sticking there.
- 5:50Speaker 1: That's his Oh that's right. That's when he's going crazy
- 5:53Speaker 1: and uh hallucinating and the witch came to him. Yeah
- 5:56Speaker 1: Luigi's mansion Okay, I remember, Yeah, the crumbling mansion. Yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 2: So uh he he's based there and that's why they
- 6:06Speaker 2: have that host of people. And I think it's interesting
- 6:10Speaker 2: because I think before we even get to Damon, we
- 6:13Speaker 2: see Laris and uh yeah yeah Agon.
- 6:19Speaker 1: The fiftieth because there's so many freaking eggons. He's in
- 6:22Speaker 1: this flow line. He's like the second or third because
- 6:24Speaker 1: it's before, but still he's he's not that interesting. An
- 6:31Speaker 1: he's like one of the more interesting ones, but still
- 6:33Speaker 1: not that interesting. No, I never found the mystery, even
- 6:35Speaker 1: when he had half his face in the hair, Like,
- 6:38Speaker 1: he has never been interested to me. He's always been
- 6:40Speaker 1: a little ship.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Like we think what he became two faces, some things
- 6:44Speaker 2: would be interesting, but you know, not really.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Not really, but but go ahead and talk about them.
- 6:53Speaker 1: That ship was funny. That ship was funny to me,
- 6:56Speaker 1: Like my man's just trying to save your ass and
- 7:00Speaker 1: like the least you can do, like jes to keep
- 7:02Speaker 1: your life. I mean, it's it's two things to it.
- 7:04Speaker 1: At first, I'm just like, damn, you can't even pretend
- 7:07Speaker 1: to ben the me just to save your life. Then
- 7:09Speaker 1: at the other end, I'm like, well, you know, I
- 7:11Speaker 1: fuck with you because you know you stay ten toes down,
- 7:13Speaker 1: like you ain't gonna you ain't gonna show fealty to nobody.
- 7:18Speaker 1: You know you you want to be the true king.
- 7:19Speaker 1: But there's a time and the place and you guys
- 7:23Speaker 1: to do you want to live or you want to die?
- 7:26Speaker 1: What's ridiculous about it? There?
- 7:27Speaker 2: No, this was ridiculous about it is that he was
- 7:29Speaker 2: like initially showing that hesitation, but as soon as Larry
- 7:33Speaker 2: started being like, oh no, this is actually him, he
- 7:35Speaker 2: was like, oh shit, no, actually no I'm not him.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I don't I don't know what this. What's he talking about?
- 7:40Speaker 1: You bitch? Made? Which one is it?
- 7:42Speaker 2: Like?
- 7:42Speaker 1: I don't like that. I don't whenever home.
- 7:44Speaker 2: So I'm going to say, and I'm gonna look this
- 7:46Speaker 2: up if I gotten on here, so please correct me
- 7:48Speaker 2: if I'm wrong. But I'm used to the black and
- 7:50Speaker 2: white because it's easy for us to like infer being
- 7:54Speaker 2: the title for the banner for Beesberry, and I'm pretty
- 7:59Speaker 2: sure that people who stopped the car are beings Bury
- 8:04Speaker 2: and interrogate them about what's like, who's here? And then
- 8:08Speaker 2: Laris of course tells them to take them hostage rather
- 8:11Speaker 2: than kill them. But honestly, honestly, I think that Raynier
- 8:16Speaker 2: and them would have been happy if they would have just.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Chopped off their heads and just presented them the heads.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Lari's was like playing as if that was actually trying
- 8:24Speaker 2: to bargain for another day of life. But like, did
- 8:27Speaker 2: you think you think they've got, Well, they're going to
- 8:30Speaker 2: be but you think they got they gonna make it
- 8:33Speaker 2: or they're gonna get killed, regardless of what are you saying.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I'm saying that Larry's whole point was that the Queen
- 8:40Speaker 2: won't tank kindly to you killing the king. She like
- 8:43Speaker 2: they would want to have to make that decision for themselves,
- 8:45Speaker 2: and so for you to do it, being a lord
- 8:48Speaker 2: under her banner without her permission, will get like you're
- 8:51Speaker 2: gonna get more out of it of like presenting us
- 8:55Speaker 2: to her for her to make a decision than for
- 8:57Speaker 2: you to make a decision on the road to yourself.
- 9:00Speaker 2: But like I again, I think that the way that
- 9:04Speaker 2: they have functioned, especially after they killed Luke's loose. It's
- 9:10Speaker 2: all hands on deck, Like whoever can take a body,
- 9:12Speaker 2: can take a body like it is what it is,
- 9:14Speaker 2: if it's a Tigerian like on the opposite side, do
- 9:17Speaker 2: it like we're not worried take it. So I think
- 9:21Speaker 2: right near, I would actually be happy if like two
- 9:23Speaker 2: of her enemies were gone without her having to do
- 9:27Speaker 2: anything about it.
- 9:29Speaker 1: This is true, that's true. I mean I think she
- 9:32Speaker 1: got bigger things to worry about, especially her.
- 9:36Speaker 2: On the throne, So if he was just taking out
- 9:38Speaker 2: she'd be happy, like she wouldn't have to worry about it. Well,
- 9:40Speaker 2: she will remember her whole thing also was about taking
- 9:43Speaker 2: his head like that that really mattered. And then remember
- 9:46Speaker 2: and this also leads to the whole conversation with Allison.
- 9:48Speaker 2: But we'll leading from that conversation with Alison about when
- 9:51Speaker 2: Alison slipped through the night and told.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Her yo, I'll give you the city whatever whatever. Now
- 9:56Speaker 1: we see Alison talking to Aimin like trying to get
- 10:00Speaker 1: and to inadvertently go along with this plan that she's concocted.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I really don't like Alison bro Like I've tried for
- 10:08Speaker 1: many many years, many years, you've tried. All right, maybe
- 10:12Speaker 1: I ain't tried, but I don't mess with her man
- 10:15Speaker 1: like I just it's just something about her energy that
- 10:20Speaker 1: bothers me deeply. And even when she's supposedly like trying
- 10:24Speaker 1: to do things for her, I mean, I don't even
- 10:27Speaker 1: want to say great of good, but she's like, oh,
- 10:28Speaker 1: I don't want no bloodshed. She's just trying to save
- 10:31Speaker 1: save the rest of our family. I don't know, it
- 10:33Speaker 1: just seems so everything seems disingenuine with her. And yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 1: then you know, like I said, but the fact that
- 10:41Speaker 1: I guess she she uses that to try to play
- 10:44Speaker 1: like old Amen, I care about you, I want you,
- 10:47Speaker 1: won't you go to hairn home and be safe and
- 10:49Speaker 1: all this sort of stuff. How nasty was the next
- 10:53Speaker 1: thing that preceded that conversation, What the fuck is wronging Emo?
- 10:58Speaker 1: What's wrong with the target?
- 11:00Speaker 2: We're talking about the layers of what's wrong with the amen,
- 11:02Speaker 2: like and this is like, but before we get into
- 11:05Speaker 2: that first, like, I do want to say one of
- 11:08Speaker 2: the things Jay said whenever he was talking whenever we're
- 11:10Speaker 2: near we're trying to convince him that, like Allison was
- 11:13Speaker 2: trustworthy on this like plan thing was that he called
- 11:16Speaker 2: it a stale friendship, and I'm like, that describes it
- 11:20Speaker 2: exactly is going on between Allison.
- 11:23Speaker 1: And he was like, that is stale. That is a
- 11:27Speaker 1: stale friendship.
- 11:28Speaker 2: And I feel like whatever's going on with like everything
- 11:31Speaker 2: with Alison is stale, troubling, like just it's not right.
- 11:39Speaker 2: There's everything's out of balance over there, and it's always
- 11:41Speaker 2: has been from the time she decided she was going
- 11:43Speaker 2: to go from being a teenage girl who's besties with
- 11:46Speaker 2: another teenage girl to fucking that teenage girl's father.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Heard from there is our unbalanced as well, Like I said,
- 11:55Speaker 1: back to the whole Aiman thing, like why did he
- 11:58Speaker 1: fucking kiss his mother on a lip iel like like
- 12:04Speaker 1: Lil Wayne did the baby. That's why I just said,
- 12:08Speaker 1: like what is what is? I mean you can say
- 12:10Speaker 1: because they're the family, so one sestuous, like they got
- 12:12Speaker 1: something wrong in the brain, but like what the targarian,
- 12:15Speaker 1: what's disturbed by that? Like yeah she was. She was
- 12:19Speaker 1: like she didn't even know what to do. But I
- 12:20Speaker 1: also think because she's scared of him. We all understand that, right,
- 12:23Speaker 1: Like she's scared of him, so she's kind of like,
- 12:26Speaker 1: well if I pull away or do something while he
- 12:28Speaker 1: might want to kill me, so maybe I need to
- 12:30Speaker 1: just stand here. It was it was upsetting, to say
- 12:34Speaker 1: the list.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Very disturbing, and I was like, now to the point
- 12:37Speaker 2: of a lot of critics of the show, like there's
- 12:39Speaker 2: very valid to be critical of some of the things
- 12:41Speaker 2: that are showing up on screen that weren't even part
- 12:44Speaker 2: of the story.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Like in the story. So it's that I was one
- 12:47Speaker 1: of them. Uh huh. So it's like, y'all are putting
- 12:49Speaker 1: a lot of stuff on the television screen for what reason.
- 12:52Speaker 1: That's why I'm trying to figure out, Like not necessarily,
- 12:55Speaker 1: like because I haven't read the books and I won't,
- 12:57Speaker 1: but what is the purpose? Like sometimes there is narrative
- 13:01Speaker 1: purpose to make a lot of changes or certain changes
- 13:06Speaker 1: because from a visual standpoint it doesn't translate well. But
- 13:10Speaker 1: stuff like this, I'm like, what, what do you What
- 13:13Speaker 1: was the reason?
- 13:15Speaker 2: I have a theory, but it's tied to some other
- 13:18Speaker 2: things that are going on in the show as well.
- 13:21Speaker 2: It's human nature, I guess to Sometimes we play with
- 13:25Speaker 2: this idea of things during Black and White, and sometimes
- 13:27Speaker 2: it's very valid, like either you observe someone else's humanity,
- 13:31Speaker 2: or you don't and I fox with you if you do,
- 13:33Speaker 2: I don't fox with the EUO. You don't like that's
- 13:35Speaker 2: that's pleas that's easy to see, that's clear. It's black
- 13:38Speaker 2: and white. But most things that happen in life aren't
- 13:40Speaker 2: that black and white. And I think one of the
- 13:43Speaker 2: things that's showing up and I don't know if it's
- 13:45Speaker 2: gonna be the it's just like a thing for the season.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Given the previews of what we see for Radi near
- 13:50Speaker 2: timeline and the previews at the end of the episode,
- 13:54Speaker 2: that they're doing this thing. I can't tell if it's
- 13:56Speaker 2: because of like fan audience reaction just sounds as dark.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I can't tell if it's for audience reaction to like Allison.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I'm not sure, but it seems like they're doing this
- 14:06Speaker 2: thing where they're playing with this idea of softness as
- 14:12Speaker 2: weakness and therefore it's tough and up and like be
- 14:18Speaker 2: like more like adversarial, like patriarchal man.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Is that why Raina said with Ranera? Rather, is that
- 14:27Speaker 1: why Ranera said what she said later on an episode
- 14:29Speaker 1: when she was just like just because I have the
- 14:31Speaker 1: frail body of a woman, you know, she said I
- 14:34Speaker 1: may have or something along the lines of I may
- 14:36Speaker 1: have the frail body of a woman, but I have
- 14:38Speaker 1: the heart and king of a king and all that.
- 14:41Speaker 1: And I was I kind of liked that line because
- 14:44Speaker 1: I was just like, what are you trying to say?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Like it felt very patriarchical, like.
- 14:47Speaker 2: You said, yeah, And I feel like that's a theme
- 14:49Speaker 2: that I'm picking up on, Like I feel like it's
- 14:51Speaker 2: showing up with the ray Neerest storyline.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I think it's showing up in the way.
- 14:56Speaker 2: That adapted Rayna's storyline because Raina and the books is
- 15:02Speaker 2: someone who like so I think they did it for
- 15:04Speaker 2: a second, like maybe last season for a second they
- 15:08Speaker 2: had her on her the original character storyline where she
- 15:11Speaker 2: goes when they send off the little Princess, they send
- 15:14Speaker 2: off the little princes across away, like they're not within
- 15:18Speaker 2: must Ros. They send them off to like Tyros or
- 15:21Speaker 2: something like that. In the books and.
- 15:23Speaker 1: This show they've put them in the air, in the veil.
- 15:27Speaker 2: So she in the book, she stays in the veil,
- 15:31Speaker 2: and she basically is like a Sansa Stark, Like she's
- 15:34Speaker 2: like very like soft power, like she gets to be
- 15:38Speaker 2: part of a courtly woman and like learn the womani
- 15:41Speaker 2: ways of like doing power and stuff like that power. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:45Speaker 2: And she's like good at like she learns how to
- 15:47Speaker 2: like be like a good finessor and like kind of
- 15:49Speaker 2: like liaison and like diplomatic, like to actually make things
- 15:53Speaker 2: happen in that way. And it feels like a choice
- 15:57Speaker 2: they've made for her to be having like a rough
- 15:58Speaker 2: and tumble, starving barely surviving.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Trying to get this dragon.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Black woman got a hard knock life kind of vibe,
- 16:04Speaker 2: Like that is in tune with this theme that I'm
- 16:08Speaker 2: seeing about, Like it's about like you gotta put away
- 16:12Speaker 2: the softness, Like the softness is not gonna win the thing.
- 16:14Speaker 2: It's got to you gotta be out here, and you
- 16:16Speaker 2: gotta be in the grit, and you gotta be in
- 16:17Speaker 2: the grime, and you gotta do all this like desperate
- 16:21Speaker 2: dirty stuff. And there's a lot, Like you're missing a
- 16:25Speaker 2: lot whenever you take that out of a storyline, and
- 16:26Speaker 2: you don't see the power behind being diplomatic, being motherly,
- 16:30Speaker 2: being nurturing, being concerned about the well being of others,
- 16:34Speaker 2: Like being soft is not a weakness, it doesn't have
- 16:37Speaker 2: to be. But they're betraying get so that like that's
- 16:39Speaker 2: the only thing available and within the storyline, and it's
- 16:43Speaker 2: not like it was not even written to be that
- 16:45Speaker 2: way initially. So the fact that the show is doing that,
- 16:48Speaker 2: I'm like, why did they make that decision? Isn't it
- 16:51Speaker 2: because of like how people have just liked Allison, but
- 16:54Speaker 2: like Allison has made some like it's not because she's
- 16:56Speaker 2: soft that you just like Alison. Just like Allison because
- 17:00Speaker 2: she does some like shisty stuff, Like I don't know.
- 17:03Speaker 1: It's like it's hard. She's a shasty person. She's a
- 17:06Speaker 1: shisty because you know, you know what portion I have
- 17:09Speaker 1: to take off my glasses because I was trying to
- 17:12Speaker 1: hold off talking about this young lady, but you left
- 17:17Speaker 1: me no choice to talk about this young lady. And
- 17:20Speaker 1: I'm really upset about this. How old is she supposed
- 17:23Speaker 1: to be? Like sixteen? I think something like that.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Yeah, something like that.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Okay, so frontal Lobe front is not yet developed yet,
- 17:30Speaker 1: not yet developed. Okay, give me a minute. Keep Rainer
- 17:41Speaker 1: the hell away from every goddamn thing to deal with anything,
- 17:49Speaker 1: this battle, this planet, this castle, the dragon, what the
- 17:56Speaker 1: entire fuck y'all could argue with me all all day
- 18:00Speaker 1: about it ain't her fault. She a kid da da
- 18:03Speaker 1: da da da. Raina ruined everything.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Everybody hates Chris, everybody hates Raina. I don't care what
- 18:11Speaker 2: happened in the books, because apparently none of this shit
- 18:13Speaker 2: hadn't and it didn't happen like this. But when I say,
- 18:19Speaker 2: my whole mouth dropped and I said, oh my god,
- 18:24Speaker 2: what is going on? Keep her away from everything and everybody?
- 18:29Speaker 2: How could it go so bad?
- 18:33Speaker 1: So fast, so wrong, so strong and wrong? You can
- 18:38Speaker 1: argue that, first of all, what Jace did about, you know,
- 18:43Speaker 1: locking his mother up in her own keep and her
- 18:46Speaker 1: and him and Bayla, right, him and Bayla going out
- 18:49Speaker 1: and playing power rangers, you can argue like, ah, guys,
- 18:52Speaker 1: y'all shouldn't have made that decision, right, But y'all had
- 18:57Speaker 1: y'all dragons on sod. Y'all was trained, and y'all was
- 18:59Speaker 1: doing like I was watching when they was when they
- 19:01Speaker 1: first went out to the what is the goal? When
- 19:04Speaker 1: they was they was out the God the go let
- 19:06Speaker 1: thank you. When they was out there doing a you know,
- 19:10Speaker 1: top gun ship, I was like, okay, okay, you know,
- 19:13Speaker 1: y'all got skills and everything, like y'all not the y'all,
- 19:15Speaker 1: not the little kids. Y'all was when y'all first started, right,
- 19:19Speaker 1: Do I agree how you went about it? No, but
- 19:21Speaker 1: you holding your own and it's like you're not just
- 19:24Speaker 1: going into battle. You seem to have strategy. You seem
- 19:26Speaker 1: to like Remember, there was a point where Bayla she
- 19:29Speaker 1: was dipping in, dodging, zipping it and doing it like
- 19:32Speaker 1: getting getting away from the arrows and stuff. Cucka cool.
- 19:35Speaker 1: And even when Jason when at first, you know, when
- 19:37Speaker 1: they was having the anchor hooks, when that first one
- 19:41Speaker 1: hooked on to the to the little chain of his
- 19:45Speaker 1: whatever the hell is his dragon name, and Bayla came
- 19:49Speaker 1: in and and and cleared it up. Cool. They team
- 19:52Speaker 1: weren't blah blah da dah. You could argue like, oh,
- 19:56Speaker 1: well they you know, they still kids and they don't
- 19:58Speaker 1: know the best. Nah. They they seem to have it together, okay.
- 20:01Speaker 1: And they was out of harm's way as far as
- 20:03Speaker 1: I saw. By the time this one Reyna showed up.
- 20:08Speaker 1: She barely, It wasn't barely. She did not bond with
- 20:12Speaker 1: that dragon properly. She did not tame the dragon. Nothing
- 20:17Speaker 1: occurred besides the dragon treating her like a child. First
- 20:20Speaker 1: of all the way she went up to a dragon,
- 20:22Speaker 1: she wanted to a dragon, the way they tell you
- 20:23Speaker 1: not to go up to a horse. You ain't supposed
- 20:25Speaker 1: to come right at it. Like, though, what was she
- 20:27Speaker 1: trying to do? Whatever the fuck she did, how's it
- 20:30Speaker 1: gonna see you? She kind of just like and she
- 20:33Speaker 1: didn't And not to say that, no one's fearful. Everybody's
- 20:35Speaker 1: fearful when they come to the dragon, but at some
- 20:37Speaker 1: point you have to release and trust. And she was
- 20:39Speaker 1: fearful the entire time. From my understanding, they were taught
- 20:44Speaker 1: a lot about what it means to be that those group,
- 20:47Speaker 1: particularly you know, the target they Damon's children, remember that,
- 20:52Speaker 1: so they targetarians.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Okay, mama was like the like she was the one
- 20:57Speaker 2: of the best dragon riders that lived, that mama.
- 21:00Speaker 1: So they were taught since they were young how this
- 21:03Speaker 1: shit work. Don't tell me otherwise, I know they were
- 21:06Speaker 1: taught better than this. At what point did Rena think? Oh? Like,
- 21:11Speaker 1: what was was she thinking? And what was she thinking?
- 21:14Speaker 1: Because to me, when you the first time the damn
- 21:19Speaker 1: sheep still have left you on the damn Super Mario
- 21:22Speaker 1: Island the first time, that should have told you something, right,
- 21:26Speaker 1: But then you think, y'all buddy, buddy, cause it come
- 21:28Speaker 1: back with a sheep for you. But to me, it
- 21:30Speaker 1: treated her like it treated like one of it's like
- 21:32Speaker 1: a child that it had like it was like, oh,
- 21:34Speaker 1: go eat your food and stop, you know, stop crying. Right,
- 21:38Speaker 1: you were home, you were looking at Dragonstone like we're
- 21:43Speaker 1: almost there. And then you and you was on that
- 21:47Speaker 1: dragon less than five minutes when you seen the other
- 21:50Speaker 1: battle in the gullet like, oh, well, let me go help.
- 21:53Speaker 2: No.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I would think she would have enough sense or training
- 21:58Speaker 1: or teachings from for parents at some point, that enough
- 22:02Speaker 1: where she knows how to speak Valerian right, like you're
- 22:07Speaker 1: not ready. You never think, oh, let me go to
- 22:10Speaker 1: Auntie Ranera and tell her, yo, I got this dragon.
- 22:15Speaker 1: You did even see your stepmom whatever bloodlines at messed up? Man,
- 22:22Speaker 1: But like you didn't like it, just didn't. And that's
- 22:24Speaker 1: why I said, the prefrontal cortex is not it's not loading.
- 22:28Speaker 1: It's not loaded, because it's just like what made you think, Oh,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I'm like, like, first of all, she's scared. Even in
- 22:34Speaker 1: the moments shes barely hanging on to the motherfucker, she
- 22:36Speaker 1: barely she on it like it's a rock climbing wall. Right,
- 22:40Speaker 1: she go home, Go home, Roger. That's all you had
- 22:46Speaker 1: to do, go home and let and and you would
- 22:49Speaker 1: have figured out Rainera got locked up and all this
- 22:51Speaker 1: other stuff. Somebody would have helped you. And and right
- 22:54Speaker 1: of the ship. Rynera probably would have been like, shit
- 22:55Speaker 1: your ass down. But no, you took it upon yourself
- 22:58Speaker 1: to go. You could blame youth, you could blame all
- 23:01Speaker 1: the steps. I just feel like this is her fault.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna get off the book in a second.
- 23:09Speaker 2: I just want to make this point because this is
- 23:11Speaker 2: what pisses me off about the redoing the adaption of
- 23:16Speaker 2: her story.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Is that.
- 23:19Speaker 2: The way she's trained to be like the diplomatic or
- 23:24Speaker 2: whatever it is. Also because she has a dragon's egg
- 23:27Speaker 2: that hatches, and it's just a little baby dragon at
- 23:31Speaker 2: this point in the story, so there ain't no riding it.
- 23:33Speaker 2: But she's loyal to her little baby dragon and they're
- 23:36Speaker 2: building that bond, and so by the time she is
- 23:39Speaker 2: more of an adult, she's actually able to kind of
- 23:43Speaker 2: like it, because you know, we know that by the
- 23:45Speaker 2: end of this battle of this war, there's gonna be
- 23:50Speaker 2: less dragons in a real world.
- 23:51Speaker 1: One of her dragons.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Her dragon is one of the last dragons around and
- 23:54Speaker 2: people are still able to be charmed by dragons and understand.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Like like she's part of that.
- 24:00Speaker 2: She's part of bringing in this era of people feeling
- 24:03Speaker 2: good about the Targarians. Who's gonna feel good about someone
- 24:06Speaker 2: who pops into the first time they write a dragon
- 24:09Speaker 2: on record and does what happens in this story? Like,
- 24:13Speaker 2: I just just like to did that to her character?
- 24:15Speaker 2: I'm pissed about that. I think that narratively, I don't
- 24:20Speaker 2: know where they're trying to go with it. It feels
- 24:22Speaker 2: like not a good place. It feels like where she's
- 24:24Speaker 2: not there. I don't see how they'll ever put her
- 24:27Speaker 2: in a storyline where her original character concept goes.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I think I just don't see it. You've ruined the
- 24:35Speaker 1: character because now everybody's like whether what right, wrong or indifferent?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Everyone's like what the fuck?
- 24:40Speaker 2: Bro? And I feel like, what what was the reason?
- 24:43Speaker 2: And I just feel like she because like the person
- 24:45Speaker 2: who ends the person who ends up on that dragon,
- 24:47Speaker 2: and the story like is someone who earns that dragon's
- 24:52Speaker 2: like respect, because she's also kind of a formidable kind
- 24:55Speaker 2: of person. She's young, but she's able to build up
- 24:58Speaker 2: a report and then Damon kind of takes her under
- 25:00Speaker 2: her wing his wing, and she becomes like a pretty
- 25:04Speaker 2: good dragon writer because she has Damon kind.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Of showing her too, and she built up loyalty.
- 25:09Speaker 2: They're both like, now they're the bastards of like the
- 25:12Speaker 2: dragon or whatever. She's one of those and she's able
- 25:16Speaker 2: to build up whatever. She's also a black woman, so
- 25:18Speaker 2: you could have had another black woman who actually had
- 25:21Speaker 2: the loyalty of this dragon pop into the story, but you.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Gave us this, Well it's too deep into I will
- 25:27Speaker 1: say this from a narrative writing perspective, you're not going
- 25:29Speaker 1: to introduce a new person, right, like a new person
- 25:32Speaker 1: they've ever seen but should.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Have did this last season, like you know where they
- 25:34Speaker 2: were doing it last season.
- 25:35Speaker 1: It's like, why are they doing this? She got Homegirl
- 25:37Speaker 1: pop up in here. Maybe you're sure that's that's the
- 25:41Speaker 1: way to do it, but you can't. Not to say
- 25:43Speaker 1: you can't. People can do whatever they can, but it's
- 25:45Speaker 1: not good writing basis to just throw in somebody brand
- 25:47Speaker 1: new that had you've never seen in fucking five years,
- 25:50Speaker 1: and it's just like, oh, well, what is this? I'm
- 25:51Speaker 1: saying she came in with the whole bastards thing, so
- 25:53Speaker 1: it's a whole different. Well, let's speak on that. Let's
- 25:56Speaker 1: speak on the whole bastards because the next argument from
- 25:59Speaker 1: people will be, well, like, well what about Olf Hugh Allen,
- 26:03Speaker 1: not al Adam Adam right, Adam, of the whole like
- 26:06Speaker 1: you know what about them? Like they're bastards and they
- 26:08Speaker 1: haven't you know, been trained or steeped in the culture. Right, Okay,
- 26:14Speaker 1: But my argument to that is, as.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Far as I'm understanding, they received some type of training, right,
- 26:20Speaker 2: they received something. If I don't remember, I don't remember
- 26:23Speaker 2: besides Rainier going out to get them and saying you
- 26:26Speaker 2: might have dragon blood in you or did.
- 26:30Speaker 1: She just kind of let them go she said, do
- 26:33Speaker 1: you okay, let's let's paint to see. I don't remember
- 26:36Speaker 1: exactly what. Let's didn't tell them because because I'm staying
- 26:40Speaker 1: this for a reason, but go ahead.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Yeah, Rayniera has the dragon because you know there's dragon
- 26:47Speaker 2: masters or whatever. They never they're not writers, but there
- 26:49Speaker 2: was to keep the keep that take care of the
- 26:51Speaker 2: dragons in between all the stuff, right, and they know
- 26:55Speaker 2: hy de believer and they're the ones who trained the teen,
- 26:57Speaker 2: the kids and the teens before they become like there
- 26:59Speaker 2: they are the ones who know how the other dragon
- 27:01Speaker 2: more and how to help people figure out how to right.
- 27:05Speaker 2: She takes them all to the cave where these dragons
- 27:08Speaker 2: are and she says, you all, she talks to you,
- 27:11Speaker 2: talks to the dragons.
- 27:12Speaker 1: And I remember, right because it's mad. It's a bunch
- 27:15Speaker 1: of bastards. And she's just like, hey, when do y'all
- 27:17Speaker 1: make it?
- 27:19Speaker 2: And she talks to the dragons. She sees the biggest
- 27:23Speaker 2: dragon look at her and she's like and with.
- 27:25Speaker 1: That, oh, she leaves it up the chance one. What
- 27:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna say was I that could be the argument
- 27:33Speaker 1: right there. It's like, well, what about the bassards. The
- 27:34Speaker 1: Baschards didn't have no real training and nothing like that,
- 27:37Speaker 1: so how come they I think though each bastard ends
- 27:41Speaker 1: up having a level of conviction that the dragons start
- 27:46Speaker 1: to respect. I don't think she steal her. She steal her,
- 27:50Speaker 1: that's the name respected homegirl.
- 27:53Speaker 2: I think that the dragons who are like of for
- 27:57Speaker 2: the bastards, and I mean they have, but we're gonna
- 28:01Speaker 2: call that round. I think that the one problem is
- 28:05Speaker 2: the best bond is that's it's getting into wipe of
- 28:09Speaker 2: others because it's Adam And in the book Nettle, the
- 28:12Speaker 2: one who writes dragons stealer. Those dragons chose them like
- 28:16Speaker 2: those dragons, that's right, they chose they bonded they were,
- 28:19Speaker 2: that was a bond.
- 28:20Speaker 1: That's I also mean when to buy. That's also what
- 28:22Speaker 1: I mean about respect. Like I'm not saying they they
- 28:27Speaker 1: see them as all powerha godments, saying that they like
- 28:29Speaker 1: you about something like Rena was in fear the entire time,
- 28:34Speaker 1: Like like if there was if there's something that the
- 28:37Speaker 1: dragon bonds was besides your blood as a valaria that
- 28:40Speaker 1: has I would assume it has to be something about
- 28:43Speaker 1: your conviction as a person. Like yes, everybody's care when
- 28:46Speaker 1: they first start, but but there's something that takes hold,
- 28:49Speaker 1: something internal, something unseems some force. I feel like force
- 28:52Speaker 1: was missing with Rena. The girl was screaming the whole time.
- 28:58Speaker 2: But I think, like to your point, if she had
- 29:01Speaker 2: a bit more so.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Why did she do the basic decisions she made.
- 29:05Speaker 2: We talk about professional cortex or whatever, but like, think
- 29:08Speaker 2: about she went to go get a dragon in the
- 29:12Speaker 2: first place because she saw everybody she grew up with
- 29:14Speaker 2: her sister excluded go like have dragons bond with them,
- 29:19Speaker 2: and so she's feeling like a lesser Targarian because she
- 29:21Speaker 2: doesn't have a dragon or whatever. So using what you're saying,
- 29:25Speaker 2: you yourself feel lesser than if there's no convictionaire you're
- 29:28Speaker 2: getting a dragon because you feel left.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Out niggas as a dragon, as an animal. I ain't gonna,
- 29:34Speaker 1: I ain't jagging that. I'm not respecting that. Here, eat
- 29:38Speaker 1: the sheep, Mitch, let's go fly in and then some niggas.
- 29:41Speaker 1: That's how I feel.
- 29:42Speaker 2: And that's kind of like in the book, like the
- 29:45Speaker 2: person who bonds was she Stiller, like builds that she
- 29:49Speaker 2: like she's still sheep four sheep Siller, and then they
- 29:52Speaker 2: build the bond like oh we're both sort ship.
- 29:56Speaker 1: They build a little bond and.
- 29:57Speaker 2: They do it for like weeks and nights before they
- 29:59Speaker 2: actually like right off together.
- 30:01Speaker 1: That is not that's not what's happening. Happened here, And she's.
- 30:05Speaker 2: If she was in so quick in a hurry trying
- 30:07Speaker 2: to prove something, profer Targarian is prove whatever it is
- 30:11Speaker 2: going on your head, we wouldn't be seeing what we
- 30:14Speaker 2: saw because like even that like that need to prove herself.
- 30:18Speaker 2: It's her would took her into the battle like if
- 30:21Speaker 2: she would have been she started thinking, Oh, I got
- 30:22Speaker 2: a big dragon. My dragon's bigger than Jason's and my sisters.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I can come in here, I can help.
- 30:30Speaker 1: A disastrous misstep. And I understand the timeline was moved
- 30:34Speaker 1: on consuder, especially if like like a literally it was
- 30:37Speaker 1: the shot where she was flying and you saw dragons
- 30:41Speaker 1: throwing on the right and the battle on the left,
- 30:44Speaker 1: and it was just like, let's go to hell, and
- 30:47Speaker 1: I'm just like, I know you, like like you just said,
- 30:50Speaker 1: like it was very childish, just like I know you
- 30:52Speaker 1: wanna help. I know you, and and Jason and and
- 30:56Speaker 1: Beyla they did the same thing. I know you want
- 30:58Speaker 1: to help. I know y'all think y'all know better, but
- 31:01Speaker 1: it's just y'all all even in between y'all three y'all
- 31:05Speaker 1: on different levels.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Can I just say that when Jace said, really, like again,
- 31:10Speaker 2: non because he's sixteen, fulfilled to cortex, not there for
- 31:14Speaker 2: him to say. I'm having my adult mother Barden barricaded
- 31:19Speaker 2: in her room. And I understand why, Right, she's the
- 31:22Speaker 2: crown head, she's a figurehead. No one's gonna run under
- 31:25Speaker 2: the banner of Jase the same way they're gonna run
- 31:27Speaker 2: under the Battle of Rayniera because they think he's a
- 31:29Speaker 2: He's he's a bastard. He's a bastard anyway, right, you
- 31:32Speaker 2: know what I mean. He's and his younger brothers, who
- 31:35Speaker 2: are full blooded Targerian are babies, So no one's gonna
- 31:39Speaker 2: run up for the cause off Rainier is gone. I
- 31:41Speaker 2: completely understand why he's put He thought that was the
- 31:45Speaker 2: decision to make, even though he shouldn't have done it
- 31:48Speaker 2: to his mother, who is the figure and she needs
- 31:50Speaker 2: to be able to say her word is bond like
- 31:52Speaker 2: that's he's taking that away from her. So him making
- 31:58Speaker 2: that choice sixteen needs is because it's clearly a trap.
- 32:01Speaker 2: But then he himself going into the trap that he's noticing.
- 32:04Speaker 2: I'm like, you're not putting on it's not making sense.
- 32:08Speaker 1: And I hear that too, And a lot of this
- 32:11Speaker 1: is not making a lot of sense once you start
- 32:13Speaker 1: getting deeply into it. I mean, and this may be
- 32:16Speaker 1: unpopular opinion, but Jay's b right. A lot of the
- 32:19Speaker 1: times he'd be like, that's clearly stupid to do, Just
- 32:22Speaker 1: like when he be talking about Alison and like even
- 32:25Speaker 1: when he talked up like you said, like he's like,
- 32:27Speaker 1: that's a trap, bro, Like why would you just run
- 32:29Speaker 1: into it? And then when near we start talking about
- 32:32Speaker 1: being a king and all that other stuff, it's just
- 32:35Speaker 1: he's not wrong. But then it's like the way he
- 32:37Speaker 1: goes about it is wrongheaded. And that's when it's like,
- 32:40Speaker 1: because he's a kid and he's.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Need our experience before you make your decisions, you need
- 32:44Speaker 2: more understanding of the world, and some look, you can
- 32:47Speaker 2: traaling error. Sometimes you make a mistake and you learn
- 32:49Speaker 2: your lesson.
- 32:50Speaker 1: This ain't the time for the like been on me,
- 32:54Speaker 1: has said many a few years ago. When sent out
- 32:57Speaker 1: that baby to be a messenger, she said, he said,
- 33:00Speaker 1: why would Rainiera tell her son, her little third ten
- 33:04Speaker 1: year old, whatever the how old he was going off to,
- 33:06Speaker 1: you know, go collect his first pokemon. Why would she
- 33:09Speaker 1: make him the messenger during about to be a time
- 33:13Speaker 1: of war to go deliver a message, not to say
- 33:17Speaker 1: that she knew.
- 33:18Speaker 2: She's the impression that it was still pre war, like.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Fucking Vaguar was going to show up, but like still
- 33:23Speaker 1: And then it was interesting because people could make this
- 33:26Speaker 1: argument too, like as formidable as people like Amon Amond
- 33:31Speaker 1: is with with Vaguar and then all this other stuff.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Even he lost control of the dragon at one point,
- 33:36Speaker 1: which what happened. So the little one.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Dragons are like, okay, so the again, that's the whole
- 33:41Speaker 2: point because.
- 33:42Speaker 1: It was the little one stand for I got that
- 33:44Speaker 1: boy that bore Oh the youngest, the youngest, loose loose. Yeah.
- 33:50Speaker 1: But with.
- 33:52Speaker 2: That, that's the whole point because with all the dragons
- 33:55Speaker 2: that are like so so burmax j Dragon and Moon
- 34:01Speaker 2: Dancer Baylor's Dragon are both dragons that kind of like
- 34:04Speaker 2: grew up with them. They like they're young dragons, right,
- 34:09Speaker 2: so they're able like as their first dragon writers, they're
- 34:12Speaker 2: able to build a bond in like communication strategy where
- 34:16Speaker 2: they actually like are kind of in tune with each
- 34:19Speaker 2: other like bestie's or whatever. Yeah yeah, yeah, as far
- 34:22Speaker 2: as the dragon.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Will fuck with you, those those dragons really fuck with them.
- 34:25Speaker 1: That's absolutely relationships are they got. And that's why I
- 34:28Speaker 1: was like, I felt less mad about it. I was like,
- 34:30Speaker 1: what I saw, how they was moving, that's it.
- 34:33Speaker 2: But also it was true of Rainier's Dragon. That's also
- 34:37Speaker 2: true of Damon's Dragon. Ye like a little bit different
- 34:40Speaker 2: because I think their dragons might have been a little
- 34:41Speaker 2: bit older than them before they became dragon writers, but it's.
- 34:44Speaker 1: The similar they have experienced and they.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Kind of like they're like bonding time was greater any way,
- 34:51Speaker 2: greater than sheep dealer, even better than the other like
- 34:55Speaker 2: for Adam and Old from them a right, like but
- 34:57Speaker 2: they all the rest of them all have the bigg dragons.
- 35:01Speaker 2: This is true, especially Off which I'm still like crazy,
- 35:04Speaker 2: the worst person. That's the worst person to get the
- 35:07Speaker 2: big dragon on your side, like the big joker like
- 35:09Speaker 2: that they don't know how to play.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Do not give them that card? Like oh my god,
- 35:15Speaker 1: but yeah, I I'm mad and not just not so
- 35:24Speaker 1: much for like like when it happened, I was like,
- 35:27Speaker 1: damn jas like nigga, Like this is also partly your.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Fault, but really, and I will say this, it's not
- 35:35Speaker 2: really it's not really Raina's fault.
- 35:37Speaker 1: It's not really rain Yes, I get it, but I'm
- 35:40Speaker 1: gonna blame her because who the hell else do I
- 35:42Speaker 1: blame right now?
- 35:43Speaker 2: Blame but it's not Rain's fault?
- 35:46Speaker 1: Like, so is it?
- 35:47Speaker 2: Why didn't they have greater understanding of like who was
- 35:52Speaker 2: coming in?
- 35:53Speaker 1: Like why didn't they know that coming in the triarchy.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Why did they just pop up on them? Like why
- 35:57Speaker 1: was it like you talking about the sea snakes people
- 36:00Speaker 1: to see snakes people?
- 36:01Speaker 2: Why do they just get and people's coming in they
- 36:04Speaker 2: get to go over to King's landing. But you're now
- 36:06Speaker 2: you're you know what I'm saying, like, that's weird. You
- 36:09Speaker 2: don't have better scouting. You don't know when someone's going
- 36:11Speaker 2: than a day ship ride from your place. That's crazy
- 36:14Speaker 2: during the day time.
- 36:15Speaker 1: But also that I don't think they knew about what
- 36:17Speaker 1: what's homegirl named Lauren or whatever it's name.
- 36:20Speaker 2: But it's only but that is based on they know
- 36:23Speaker 2: that the like Agon's crew, like the Greens, they're going
- 36:28Speaker 2: to be mounting some kind of sea response.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Because they know that.
- 36:32Speaker 2: They know that, so they know that they're probably been like, okay,
- 36:36Speaker 2: let's just use their brains for a little bit. If
- 36:38Speaker 2: they're going to try to mount a navy against us,
- 36:41Speaker 2: where are they going to find a navy because they
- 36:43Speaker 2: don't really got one like that that's what Valarian like
- 36:46Speaker 2: hous Valerian was doing.
- 36:47Speaker 1: So who they're going to get for that?
- 36:48Speaker 2: They might have to go over two pintos. Okay, well,
- 36:53Speaker 2: we need to keep our eye out from that direction.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Let's keep us scout scout it out for that direction
- 36:58Speaker 2: every day. It's just checking and see what's going on
- 37:00Speaker 2: over there the.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Way that Beylet came in. And they were because Bailiff
- 37:04Speaker 1: was scouting.
- 37:05Speaker 2: But like only a certain parameter, Bayla should not have
- 37:08Speaker 2: been the only one in charge of scouting the parameter like, but.
- 37:13Speaker 1: She's trustworthy and and and I gotta go back to
- 37:16Speaker 1: what she said, like while again to a child THESEUS
- 37:20Speaker 1: war times, and they trustworthy enough to be out there
- 37:22Speaker 1: in the first place right near He basically made her,
- 37:25Speaker 1: you know, little captains and said, hey man, now that
- 37:28Speaker 1: was before her son him her up. But the fact
- 37:31Speaker 1: is she gave them, at least Beyla a lot of
- 37:33Speaker 1: license to do things because she knew she could. She
- 37:36Speaker 1: had she haw haw dragons like this like she she
- 37:40Speaker 1: got skilled.
- 37:40Speaker 2: She understands what's going on. So I get that poor
- 37:44Speaker 2: she You still even answer my question, So who's fault
- 37:46Speaker 2: of it is?
- 37:47Speaker 1: If it's not Raina, who's fault is it? It's everyone
- 37:51Speaker 1: on the fifty UK was fifty to fifty that that
- 37:54Speaker 1: could have happened where Jay still could have got him
- 37:57Speaker 1: like his dragon vermat still could have got hemmed up somehow.
- 38:01Speaker 1: But they was in the clear as far as I knew,
- 38:02Speaker 1: and whatever little bit of ships was left, they was
- 38:06Speaker 1: flying around. And I say in the clear, I mean
- 38:08Speaker 1: they wasn't down. Remember they had to come down in
- 38:11Speaker 1: the ships to get hit by them things. They was up.
- 38:14Speaker 1: They was doing whatever the fuck they was doing. The
- 38:16Speaker 1: ships were going down left and right, but there was
- 38:19Speaker 1: there was some sneeze sea snakes shaped ships still out
- 38:23Speaker 1: and about their hair comes Raina and and sheep still
- 38:27Speaker 1: and blow down the rest of the house. And then
- 38:32Speaker 1: get it to a situation where now the two dragons,
- 38:35Speaker 1: who are you know? They they you know, to the
- 38:38Speaker 1: to the best of their abilities, they was I but
- 38:41Speaker 1: now they gotta come and swoop in and try to
- 38:43Speaker 1: stop it. Remember they don't even know it was her.
- 38:44Speaker 1: At first.
- 38:45Speaker 2: They was like, kill the rider. Oh shit, it's my
- 38:48Speaker 2: sister or my cousin, depending on whose what if you're
- 38:52Speaker 2: looking at Like, but I feel like that's a okay.
- 38:56Speaker 1: I'm not saying Raina is completely clear in the clear.
- 38:59Speaker 1: I'm saying, as a teenager and all those.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Sults was in the room, how is she the one
- 39:05Speaker 2: the most to blame for all the things that went
- 39:08Speaker 2: wrong in that.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Wait, you agree that Rena was the most to blame.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I said, how is she the one? How is she
- 39:15Speaker 1: the one? Because like there.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Has to no I understand you, I hear you. But
- 39:20Speaker 2: they were above They were only above the fray because
- 39:23Speaker 2: they needed to take out that ship.
- 39:24Speaker 1: They were about the phrase my point. They never went,
- 39:27Speaker 1: but they were. They would have had to eventually, because
- 39:30Speaker 1: you don't just you're not just.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Saying to watch technically safe, Tatiana there, You're not gonna
- 39:36Speaker 2: be in a battle and stay in the air the
- 39:39Speaker 2: whole time.
- 39:39Speaker 1: You're gonna come down.
- 39:42Speaker 2: What you mean, high up away from everything. They had
- 39:45Speaker 2: to come down. They had to come down again and
- 39:48Speaker 2: take out them ships. They wasn't gonna just stay come
- 39:50Speaker 2: back up, blow fire, come back up, blow fire, fire,
- 39:54Speaker 2: Like I don't know time that each time they come down,
- 39:56Speaker 2: there's another chance they're gonna get clips.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Exactly, which is why I'm like, I see the point
- 40:01Speaker 1: that it could have been fifty to fifty that he
- 40:03Speaker 1: couldn't die anyway, right, I feel like in the.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Books that happens anyway without ray near radar comingy in
- 40:10Speaker 2: there like raina, Right, I feel like.
- 40:12Speaker 1: I feel like with Raina, it went from fifty to
- 40:14Speaker 1: fifty to one hundred percent. You're gonna die because your
- 40:17Speaker 1: sister cousin a niece came in and and and fucked
- 40:21Speaker 1: it up. He was to die any of you, or
- 40:25Speaker 1: you may die increased exponentially once she showed up with that.
- 40:29Speaker 2: He was gonna die anyway. This was his faded time
- 40:32Speaker 2: to die. It was it this battle, that was it.
- 40:34Speaker 2: That was the end of Jace right there, as soon
- 40:37Speaker 2: as he made a decision to go out there.
- 40:39Speaker 1: It was a stupid ass. He's stupid ass kids. And
- 40:42Speaker 1: you know what what I'm most mad about not because
- 40:44Speaker 1: there's just stupid as kids, because they are marching to
- 40:48Speaker 1: their deaths. There were flying soldiers. They're flying to their deaths,
- 40:53Speaker 1: and it's just like damn, and like, regardless of who's
- 40:58Speaker 1: doing the killing or the chomping down on you know,
- 41:02Speaker 1: loose and the rest of them, Like, it's just like
- 41:04Speaker 1: because I'm just like, damn, they had their whole lives
- 41:06Speaker 1: ahead of them. And then you know, and then like
- 41:10Speaker 1: just to see Jason up in the water and then
- 41:12Speaker 1: get when he was in the water floating, I was
- 41:14Speaker 1: just like, I have a bad feeling about this, and
- 41:17Speaker 1: the arrows went off. Yeah, he was always faded to die. Hair.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Maybe that's why I feel the way I feel about it,
- 41:23Speaker 2: and you feel the way you feel about it.
- 41:25Speaker 1: I knew he like I knew that, where you knew
- 41:27Speaker 1: he was faded to die, You like, no matter why
- 41:29Speaker 1: he's gonna die.
- 41:30Speaker 2: I just but as someone who doesn't know what's about
- 41:32Speaker 2: to happen, I or didn't know, I was just like, to.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Me, the percentages the probability has changed.
- 41:39Speaker 2: I don't know if you ever watched poker, but if
- 41:40Speaker 2: you watch poker, when someone got a good hand fors
- 41:42Speaker 2: of the bad hand and the probability meter goes up
- 41:44Speaker 2: and down, I just feel like that meter just went
- 41:47Speaker 2: through the fucking roof once Raina showed up and then
- 41:49Speaker 2: made that decision like, oh I'm gonna go. I feel
- 41:51Speaker 2: like you should have felt that way as soon as
- 41:53Speaker 2: you saw because like, have we learned nothing from Danaris?
- 41:59Speaker 2: And whenever she had her dragons and then the sea
- 42:02Speaker 2: thing and they had that I forget that. I know
- 42:05Speaker 2: what it's called, but in this moment's escaped me what
- 42:07Speaker 2: that weapon it's called. That they shoot it up there
- 42:09Speaker 2: and they drag them down.
- 42:10Speaker 1: You saw it.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Happened with the Rainier's Raina Denaress dragons like as soon
- 42:16Speaker 2: as we should have known as So if you saw
- 42:19Speaker 2: lo hard whatever I agree roll that suck her out,
- 42:21Speaker 2: you should have been like, oh crap, here we go.
- 42:23Speaker 2: When she came out with the anti aircraft missiles, I said, oh,
- 42:26Speaker 2: were about to have a problem. You're right, and they didn't,
- 42:30Speaker 2: and that was something that was not accounted for.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Right. Yes, yes, the real the real blame Dragon Machine,
- 42:36Speaker 1: The real blame is Lauren whatever homegirl is Lowhart and
- 42:42Speaker 1: the seven ships of the Seven Seas. We understand what
- 42:44Speaker 1: the real blame comes from. I get it, but I
- 42:48Speaker 1: need a more satisfying person. Blame both are, But I
- 42:52Speaker 1: feel like he's my thing too.
- 42:53Speaker 2: It's not because if you want to blame somebody about that,
- 42:57Speaker 2: why does will Thar want revenge because some stupid shit
- 43:01Speaker 2: rain It's because of years ago, because of Raina's granddaddy,
- 43:05Speaker 2: because of that that man with the white locks right there,
- 43:09Speaker 2: that's he set up.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Because I also think about the fact that Jason is
- 43:13Speaker 1: supposed to be his heir, so he was so I
- 43:16Speaker 1: thought it was cute. I thought it was cute and
- 43:19Speaker 1: loving of him.
- 43:20Speaker 2: I just wrote, I noted that, like as love as
- 43:23Speaker 2: I love to go in on a deadbeat or whatever,
- 43:26Speaker 2: I can understand why Corlis was a deadbeat because like
- 43:31Speaker 2: you can't. He couldn't openly claim his kids with.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Rain raina niece Nie wasn't playing that.
- 43:39Speaker 2: He wasn't playing that, So them kids would have been
- 43:41Speaker 2: dead in the cradle if he was openly like, like
- 43:44Speaker 2: you know, naming them as his kids.
- 43:46Speaker 1: So like that couldn't happen.
- 43:48Speaker 2: So I completely understand it, even though he was dead
- 43:51Speaker 2: beat about it, right, but the way call him a
- 43:54Speaker 2: dead beet all I want.
- 43:56Speaker 1: He definitely like when he.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Stepped up now he saw well, like with Alan whatever,
- 44:01Speaker 2: that was one thing, but I feel like for his
- 44:03Speaker 2: he was never playing by his grand babies, and so
- 44:06Speaker 2: as soon as he saw that come out, he was like, so,
- 44:09Speaker 2: we're gonna lead her up into the feet this little
- 44:11Speaker 2: crack over here, because my grandbabies ain't about to catch.
- 44:14Speaker 1: It little her.
- 44:15Speaker 2: So he had He's like, not my not my Bla,
- 44:18Speaker 2: not my Jase, were about to come take her out
- 44:20Speaker 2: of the way so that they're like they're able to
- 44:23Speaker 2: do what they need to do with the ships and
- 44:24Speaker 2: I was like, I love that, Like he's being a
- 44:27Speaker 2: good granddad, but also it's his fault that someone with
- 44:31Speaker 2: a dragon killer weapon rolled up to the party in
- 44:33Speaker 2: the first place, because she was bent for revenge. None
- 44:36Speaker 2: of the freaking people of west Roads had that weaponry.
- 44:39Speaker 1: That was her ship. That was her ship, and it
- 44:42Speaker 1: was it was funny. I call on her, Lauren. I
- 44:44Speaker 1: don't care. It was funny when Lauren pulled up and
- 44:47Speaker 1: like when it was doing that battle with or going
- 44:50Speaker 1: through that straight passage with the sea snakes and they
- 44:53Speaker 1: caught the fingers something but it has like wats that
- 44:56Speaker 1: they called the teeth the tooth one of a teeth,
- 44:58Speaker 1: that's what it's teeth. And the way like she was
- 45:02Speaker 1: just like she realized she had the racist ship up,
- 45:05Speaker 1: so she's like, how much do you weigh in armor?
- 45:08Speaker 1: But she was just knocking shit, niggas whatever off the ship.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I was like, oh, she roofless. She she she a
- 45:15Speaker 1: real killer.
- 45:16Speaker 2: And every time I see people wearing armor on the ship,
- 45:19Speaker 2: I'm like, no, that's not good.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Yeah, but what I'm gonna raise about her is just
- 45:23Speaker 1: the fact that she a real killer. And yeah, got
- 45:25Speaker 1: kids out here, were real killers and ain't for the
- 45:29Speaker 1: play play it ain't. And also I'm also thinking about
- 45:32Speaker 1: the masters, like Alan, you know, he had another little
- 45:37Speaker 1: chat with Corlis or whatever. But Alan, at one point
- 45:40Speaker 1: he was like father, Like he yelled out father when
- 45:43Speaker 1: when he first saw Collers fall into the water or whatever.
- 45:46Speaker 1: So I'm like, oh, he accepted him. Now is that
- 45:49Speaker 1: where we're at now?
- 45:51Speaker 2: So I watched the after show little thing and it
- 45:53Speaker 2: was talking about how like he still wasn't short by
- 45:57Speaker 2: the end of that talk. But then it's something about
- 45:59Speaker 2: seeing someone. It's something about seeing something ripped away from you.
- 46:02Speaker 2: But just whenever you think you might have it where
- 46:04Speaker 2: you solid to fight in his mind like wait a minute,
- 46:06Speaker 2: like and again this is all about revenge. Homegirl, Lothar
- 46:11Speaker 2: is there because of revenge, and as soon as he
- 46:14Speaker 2: sees that his father gets taken out or whatever off
- 46:17Speaker 2: the plate, he's like, oh shit, now I'm in for revenge.
- 46:20Speaker 2: So just like a revenge passed around like when you go,
- 46:23Speaker 2: I'm going to just like saying like if when you're
- 46:26Speaker 2: bent towards a path of revenge, dig two graves, like
- 46:29Speaker 2: cause you're no one's coming out of there, easy, be
- 46:32Speaker 2: ready to go yourself like it's gonna be a suicide
- 46:35Speaker 2: mission half the.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Time if you're going to be bent on revenge.
- 46:38Speaker 2: And that's what Lethard like, like, that's what she actually
- 46:43Speaker 2: put her steak on and she that's like, you know,
- 46:45Speaker 2: give her what you will.
- 46:46Speaker 1: But she had a mission.
- 46:48Speaker 2: She carried it out to the best of her abilities,
- 46:51Speaker 2: even in so far as being like, I never met
- 46:53Speaker 2: a contract that I would sign unless add something in
- 46:57Speaker 2: it for me, and as soon as I get what
- 46:58Speaker 2: I want, fuck you mmm.
- 47:02Speaker 1: I mean that's how it Yeah, that's how it'd be.
- 47:05Speaker 1: That's how she moved.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Exactly how it played out. And I love that the
- 47:08Speaker 2: Landishers is the ones who made the contract with her,
- 47:11Speaker 2: because like the Lanisters love to throw on that money
- 47:13Speaker 2: like it's gonna lead to everybody doing what they need
- 47:15Speaker 2: to do. The Lanisters caught the big l I mean Blacks,
- 47:18Speaker 2: the Black Team Lives did, but who were part of
- 47:22Speaker 2: the of the Greens, the Blanisters who were representing the
- 47:25Speaker 2: Greens in this episode. Both the starts took them out
- 47:29Speaker 2: on land and then the freaking like over here on sea.
- 47:33Speaker 2: But it wasn't even the funniest part to me that
- 47:35Speaker 2: it wasn't even the Black forces that took out the
- 47:39Speaker 2: Lanisters on the sea.
- 47:40Speaker 1: It was their own people that they put a contract
- 47:42Speaker 1: with that took them out.
- 47:43Speaker 2: What did you think about the Starks by the way,
- 47:45Speaker 2: and how they appeared on the battlefield?
- 47:47Speaker 1: So you mean, so was that the Starks, the the
- 47:50Speaker 1: old men of the North or whatever.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they came up with them great them, the Great
- 47:54Speaker 2: Woof on the band.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, Okay. See, I didn't even realize that
- 47:57Speaker 1: that was technically the Starks. I mean I was just like,
- 48:00Speaker 1: like the way they was coming through the forest, I
- 48:02Speaker 1: knew they wasn't enemies because they they was walking too
- 48:05Speaker 1: slow and too deliberate, and I'm just like, because I
- 48:07Speaker 1: know Damon was like ready to you know, go to
- 48:11Speaker 1: war again. Damon looked cool as shit by the way,
- 48:13Speaker 1: with his armors cold. But no, I just thought that
- 48:18Speaker 1: was I knew that that was gonna be help for them.
- 48:22Speaker 1: So I didn't think it was gonna be an issue.
- 48:24Speaker 1: I don't know if I felt a way about it,
- 48:26Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm not putting the pieces together from
- 48:29Speaker 1: like the old show, and you have history, you know,
- 48:32Speaker 1: the books, and why that matters? Why does that does
- 48:34Speaker 1: that matter so much.
- 48:36Speaker 2: I just think of I'm thinking about from even from
- 48:38Speaker 2: like just like a show perspective of how the band
- 48:43Speaker 2: the Starts have become like one of the houses that
- 48:46Speaker 2: people respect generally, like if you're a fan, if you're
- 48:49Speaker 2: within the show, like the people of the houses of
- 48:52Speaker 2: the show. They may not respect the Starks in too far,
- 48:55Speaker 2: like they're not part of the court politics. God, they
- 48:58Speaker 2: respect the Starts on like if you ever when they
- 49:02Speaker 2: need hands hit us and the stars show up, you
- 49:06Speaker 2: better have that on your side, because the Starks, if
- 49:08Speaker 2: they're in, they're about to turn the tide of ship.
- 49:11Speaker 1: It's not about to.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Be no easy times when the Starks show up, but
- 49:15Speaker 2: they'll be easy for who they're with, but not for
- 49:16Speaker 2: who their enemies are.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Okay, so there's some wildman.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Basically they whenever whenever that because the first thing that
- 49:24Speaker 2: the guy said, I forget, I didn't check his name.
- 49:27Speaker 1: He said was we're here to die for the dragon.
- 49:31Speaker 1: He did, And that was interesting use of words.
- 49:35Speaker 2: I was just like, I mean, but also that's what
- 49:38Speaker 2: niggas like to fight say all the time, Like and
- 49:41Speaker 2: I love how Damon was just because like his Damon
- 49:43Speaker 2: got a good better look at the banners.
- 49:45Speaker 1: His se went from having his sword ready to fight
- 49:47Speaker 1: to being like, oh, like, okay, cool, whatever, we're just
- 49:50Speaker 1: it's great. What else? Oh, I would say Alan did
- 49:54Speaker 1: the thing when he finally took out a little ror,
- 49:56Speaker 1: I was all right, back, let's move on. Look, because
- 49:58Speaker 1: I was ready for that whole revenge arc to be over. Yes,
- 50:01Speaker 1: I wanted it to be over the minute to start it.
- 50:03Speaker 1: I was like all right, like, oh now we know
- 50:06Speaker 1: the motive. Great, okay, so we now I ain't got
- 50:09Speaker 1: no navy no more.
- 50:11Speaker 2: I wouldn't say that she has whatever whatever survived. I
- 50:17Speaker 2: do want to note that again, for Lothar's mission of
- 50:20Speaker 2: like revenge, her mission wasn't just to take out Corless.
- 50:23Speaker 2: It was to take out his treasury. And we do
- 50:25Speaker 2: see his treasury on fire. We do see him react
- 50:28Speaker 2: to seeing his treasury on fire. It just kind of
- 50:29Speaker 2: gobsmacks him. He just like it's stuck there for a moment.
- 50:32Speaker 2: He can't even give orders in that moment. Just seeing
- 50:35Speaker 2: his treasury like on fire so does make it will
- 50:39Speaker 2: make things a little bit more complicated when it comes
- 50:42Speaker 2: to having a navy, because that's the that's the money,
- 50:45Speaker 2: Those are the supplies. Those are the things to patch
- 50:47Speaker 2: up the ships. So we'll find out what happens next
- 50:50Speaker 2: with the maybe but it's not completely gone.
- 50:52Speaker 1: It's just and mshed. Yeah, we see your friend, Sir Crisco.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Ain't that Joe for briefully and that's children he was it?
- 51:04Speaker 1: I mean, I want to say, what was his problem?
- 51:06Speaker 1: He always has a problem. He don't want to do
- 51:08Speaker 1: his job. Is he depressed?
- 51:11Speaker 2: Well, So one thing that I wrote was that, like,
- 51:14Speaker 2: I guess it's like again on this like the theme
- 51:15Speaker 2: that I'm noticing with the softness being weakness thing. Right,
- 51:19Speaker 2: If you want to say looking for justice about sexual
- 51:23Speaker 2: assault being is being soft, then I guess is what's
- 51:27Speaker 2: happening with the storyline with Christian Cole Because there's a
- 51:31Speaker 2: lot of dynamics that in play here, and I want
- 51:32Speaker 2: to be thoughtful about saying what I say because ray
- 51:36Speaker 2: Niera was a teenager when the things happened with Chris
- 51:40Speaker 2: Go and he was an adult. But she's the person
- 51:45Speaker 2: who had more power than he did, so there's a
- 51:48Speaker 2: lot of things going on there. But it basically was
- 51:51Speaker 2: like her corrosion, which is a form of assault, and
- 51:55Speaker 2: just because he's a man, doesn't mean that can't happen
- 51:57Speaker 2: to between a man and a woman or whatever. So
- 52:00Speaker 2: I can understand that traumatizing him into in a way
- 52:04Speaker 2: that he it's hard for him to interact and co
- 52:09Speaker 2: put things together in his brain the way that he
- 52:11Speaker 2: had before the assault occurred right at the same time,
- 52:16Speaker 2: and everyone does this differently, the way that it changes
- 52:19Speaker 2: his viewpoint on how to be a knight and stand
- 52:25Speaker 2: up for the honor and bonds of King's Guard and
- 52:28Speaker 2: what knight he looks like, because it goes from him
- 52:31Speaker 2: no longer believing in it, in the monarchy being good
- 52:36Speaker 2: people because of his interaction with Rainier and him, to
- 52:40Speaker 2: him interacting more with Alison and him and them showing
- 52:43Speaker 2: them that they're not trustworthy, to him allowing it to
- 52:46Speaker 2: like snowball, and to him becoming the hand of the
- 52:48Speaker 2: king even though he doesn't believe in any of this
- 52:51Speaker 2: stuff anymore. For him to no longer care about like
- 52:55Speaker 2: the King's Guard being an honorable place anymore, or knighthood
- 52:58Speaker 2: being standing up for honor anymore, because of all the
- 53:00Speaker 2: things that are related with it. These are all choices,
- 53:04Speaker 2: and I can get that, like being traumatized can change
- 53:08Speaker 2: how you view and make decisions, but like at a
- 53:11Speaker 2: certain point he needs to own the fact or he's
- 53:14Speaker 2: a better person might own the fact that you've got
- 53:19Speaker 2: to stand for something. And trying to just kind of
- 53:22Speaker 2: like disappear in the middle of like being in charge.
- 53:29Speaker 1: It don't make any sense. Christian Cole's bitch made, always
- 53:34Speaker 1: has been, always will be, and it does not have
- 53:37Speaker 1: seemed to change in the last four years. That's what
- 53:40Speaker 1: I feel about him.
- 53:42Speaker 2: Someone was sexually assaulted within his earshot.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Someone comes to tell him about.
- 53:46Speaker 2: It, but we all know he's he fake. He faked life.
- 53:50Speaker 2: When it comes to the code and all this other stuff.
- 53:52Speaker 2: The man honorable, but it's again it comes from a
- 53:56Speaker 2: place he went from a place of being like.
- 53:59Speaker 1: Oh, that was all he was about before his.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Interaction with ray Nira, and then after Raynierra, he's like
- 54:04Speaker 2: on some different shit. And I get that he was traumatized,
- 54:07Speaker 2: but at the same time, and he hasn't fully processed it.
- 54:11Speaker 2: But he's not trying to process it. He's not trying.
- 54:14Speaker 2: He's just he's just like removing himself and again at
- 54:18Speaker 2: the same time trying to be powerful and trying to
- 54:20Speaker 2: be bingeful at times.
- 54:22Speaker 1: So it's just like this weird thing, and I'm like,
- 54:25Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Like again, I feel like a better person would be like,
- 54:28Speaker 2: at the very least, I'm not gonna let this shit
- 54:30Speaker 2: happen under my watch.
- 54:33Speaker 1: But he doesn't give that.
- 54:35Speaker 2: And I also feel like he seems like demoralized that
- 54:38Speaker 2: he feels like even though he has a powerful title
- 54:41Speaker 2: or whatever, he doesn't have the power to do that.
- 54:44Speaker 1: He's like, what do you want me to do?
- 54:45Speaker 2: Hang the man, like as if that wouldn't actually be showing.
- 54:50Speaker 1: The power, Like yes, that's literally what you're supposed to do.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Yeah, And he's like, but he's the fact that is
- 54:56Speaker 2: a commoner, because that's also something to note.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Here's commoner, someone.
- 55:01Speaker 2: Whose nobility came to you to ask you.
- 55:04Speaker 1: To use your power. He's the real job. He depressed
- 55:08Speaker 1: them dishes, is what he said. Depressed my ass, depressed,
- 55:11Speaker 1: depressed that nigga over there, and hang him whatever.
- 55:14Speaker 2: Set an example for everybody else here. And I feel
- 55:17Speaker 2: like Christian Cole is saying, like, this is the world
- 55:20Speaker 2: that we're in. We can't if it happened to me,
- 55:22Speaker 2: it happened to anybody. I can't stop shit.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Here's my thing when the world is limited to the
- 55:26Speaker 1: twenty people around you, and you have full control over it.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Do something about it. That's it, And he refuses. I
- 55:35Speaker 1: got none to say about him, besides, he's bitch me.
- 55:39Speaker 1: Just closing all this out? How is not how we
- 55:42Speaker 1: already know we're near a gonna find out another one
- 55:46Speaker 1: of her sons died, and I don't know if she's
- 55:50Speaker 1: gonna like understand the circumstances of it being damn near
- 55:54Speaker 1: identical to the circumstances of LUs dying in terms of
- 55:58Speaker 1: the writer essentially who's in control of their dragon. The
- 56:01Speaker 1: same thing happened with Amon with Vegar, where Like you
- 56:07Speaker 1: could argue all day about whether Amy wanted to do
- 56:09Speaker 1: it on purpose, but remember he said he was just
- 56:10Speaker 1: trying to scare him, and Vegar took it too far.
- 56:14Speaker 1: And with this one homegirl, Raina just did not have
- 56:18Speaker 1: control of sheep still there and she still just did
- 56:20Speaker 1: what they wanted to do. But both of Rainierer's sons
- 56:23Speaker 1: were the consequences of that happening. What are Rnierer's options
- 56:28Speaker 1: at this point, especially because her son did that, left
- 56:30Speaker 1: her locked her up in there, left now is dead
- 56:34Speaker 1: for it. She's gonna you know, she had a little
- 56:37Speaker 1: speech about being the king and all this other stuff,
- 56:39Speaker 1: like it's like and there's no turning I mean, there
- 56:43Speaker 1: was already feeling like no turning about for her. But
- 56:45Speaker 1: I'm like, I feel like this is gonna put the
- 56:47Speaker 1: battery in her back.
- 56:48Speaker 2: I think, like the actor who plays Ryniera said in
- 56:53Speaker 2: the Post and Posts discussion or whatever, that basically what
- 56:59Speaker 2: her counsel and her son have been practiced, and Damon
- 57:04Speaker 2: have been practicing, and her father across the borb. This
- 57:07Speaker 2: is what she's been going through her whole life, where
- 57:10Speaker 2: the men around her have practiced control under the guise
- 57:16Speaker 2: of protection, and Raniera has taken no other like.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Stance.
- 57:25Speaker 2: But at this point she needs to divorce herself from
- 57:28Speaker 2: the idea of softness.
- 57:31Speaker 1: And being Queen Lee.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Because if you think about it, and all of the
- 57:37Speaker 2: queens that have ruled west Ros so far, most like
- 57:42Speaker 2: most of them, I think nearly all of them, because
- 57:44Speaker 2: we'd never have really seen a woman be like a
- 57:47Speaker 2: ruling queen before they all were married to the king,
- 57:52Speaker 2: but they weren't the ruler of west Rows. So in
- 57:56Speaker 2: Raniera's brain, She's like, the only way I can move
- 57:59Speaker 2: forward is to move like a king, a ruler, and
- 58:01Speaker 2: not like a queen who is just like kind of like,
- 58:05Speaker 2: you know, keeping the things.
- 58:07Speaker 1: And so I feel like.
- 58:09Speaker 2: That littico as opposed to like soft power about that action, Yeah,
- 58:13Speaker 2: soft power.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Rather than like assertive, like weapon aggressive power.
- 58:19Speaker 2: So she, I think that's going She's gonna have a
- 58:23Speaker 2: moment of like a grief because like, how is she
- 58:26Speaker 2: not gonna grieve her kid going out?
- 58:28Speaker 1: You know?
- 58:30Speaker 2: But she's also going to channel that in ways that
- 58:34Speaker 2: are gonna probably be very destructive, because what are targarines,
- 58:38Speaker 2: especially targetans with dragons if not destructive?
- 58:42Speaker 1: That is the name of the game. Pourtcha, and I
