- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Jess Daly and JP Morgan are going back and forth
- 0:08Speaker 1: over what's going on down in the Virgin Islands, and
- 0:11Speaker 1: i'll tell you what, it's getting a bit contentious. The
- 0:14Speaker 1: allegations that are being thrown this way and that by
- 0:18Speaker 1: both parties are almost laughable at this point for me,
- 0:21Speaker 1: considering both parties are obviously on the hook for what
- 0:25Speaker 1: happened here, and instead of just owning up to that,
- 0:28Speaker 1: they're trying to say, well, I might have been wrong,
- 0:31Speaker 1: but this guy over here he was more wrong than
- 0:34Speaker 1: I was, so you should focus on him more than
- 0:36Speaker 1: you focus on us. It's a classic attempt to muddy
- 0:39Speaker 1: the waters when the reality is both groups, meaning the
- 0:43Speaker 1: management structure of JP Morgan and Jess Day and anybody
- 0:48Speaker 1: around him, they all knew the deal. They knew what
- 0:50Speaker 1: Epstein was up to. They knew he was a dirtbag, scumbag,
- 0:53Speaker 1: son of a bitch, and they knew that he was
- 0:55Speaker 1: molesting and hurting people. They didn't care. That's what it
- 0:58Speaker 1: comes down to. They did not care that Epstein was
- 1:02Speaker 1: engaging in all of this behavior because he was bringing
- 1:05Speaker 1: other rich scumbags to the bank. And as long as
- 1:08Speaker 1: that was happening and the money kept flowing in, then
- 1:12Speaker 1: everybody who was very content to hang out with Epstein,
- 1:16Speaker 1: they were all content to take his money, they were
- 1:18Speaker 1: all content to do business with them. Well, guess what,
- 1:21Speaker 1: now it's time to answer some questions. Today's article is
- 1:25Speaker 1: from NBC News and the headline JP Morgan alleges former
- 1:30Speaker 1: executive thwarted efforts to cut ties with Epstein. The bank
- 1:34Speaker 1: claimed Jeff Staley knew of Epstein's sex trafficking and engaged
- 1:38Speaker 1: in sexual activity with young women procured by Epstein. Staley
- 1:43Speaker 1: has said he is being used as a PR shield,
- 1:46Speaker 1: and honestly, all of that is true. They are using
- 1:49Speaker 1: him as a PR shield, But he was engaged in
- 1:52Speaker 1: all of Epstein's bullshit, and according to at least some reports,
- 1:57Speaker 1: he was involved in the actual abuse of some of
- 1:59Speaker 1: these girls. So that elevates him from just an enabler
- 2:03Speaker 1: to absolute piece of shit status, right up there with
- 2:07Speaker 1: guys like you know, Bill Richardson, Glenn Dubin, George Mitchell,
- 2:12Speaker 1: and the rest of them. This article was authored by
- 2:15Speaker 1: Chloe Atkins. JP Morgan Chase claimed its former executive Jess
- 2:21Speaker 1: Staley repeatedly thwarted its efforts to cut ties with convicted
- 2:25Speaker 1: sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during Staley's tenure at the bank,
- 2:30Speaker 1: according to court documents filed this week. So you mean
- 2:33Speaker 1: to tell me that Jess Staley could tell Jamie Diamond
- 2:37Speaker 1: what to do, he could tell the executive board what
- 2:40Speaker 1: to do. I don't buy that for a minute. And
- 2:43Speaker 1: the fact that they're gonna get out here and try
- 2:45Speaker 1: and pitch that to people is pretty laughable. I don't
- 2:48Speaker 1: think people are buying that bullshit anymore. It's like when
- 2:51Speaker 1: we were kids, right, well those of us that are
- 2:53Speaker 1: older anyway, our parents could tell us anything and we
- 2:56Speaker 1: couldn't fact check it. We'd have to go to the
- 2:58Speaker 1: library to look something up. But now we can go
- 3:01Speaker 1: right to the internet, take a look and know you're
- 3:04Speaker 1: a bullshitting us. So Sam goes here. Nobody was thwarting anything, Okay,
- 3:09Speaker 1: you weren't trying to get rid of Jeffrey Epstein. And
- 3:13Speaker 1: in fact, what you're doing is lying to us. But
- 3:16Speaker 1: unlike the old days, we can go and check now
- 3:19Speaker 1: and verify well that you're lying. The Wall Street Giant
- 3:23Speaker 1: sued Stay in March saying he should be held liable
- 3:27Speaker 1: for any financial damages it might have to pay from
- 3:30Speaker 1: two lawsuits that alleged it enabled Epstein's sex trafficking operation.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Now imagine just sit back in the cut for a
- 3:37Speaker 1: minute and let that sink in. Not one bit of
- 3:40Speaker 1: talk about criminal sanction, not one bit of talk about
- 3:44Speaker 1: anyone going to prison. Once again, just another financial slap. Staley,
- 3:49Speaker 1: who worked at the bank for more than thirty years,
- 3:52Speaker 1: asked a federal judge last month to dismiss the lawsuit,
- 3:56Speaker 1: saying the bank was using him as a public relation shield.
- 4:00Speaker 1: In response, the bank this week alleged that Staley knew
- 4:04Speaker 1: of Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise and engaged in sexual activity
- 4:08Speaker 1: with young women procured by Epstein, but acted to protect
- 4:13Speaker 1: himself and Epstein, who could have exposed Staley's misconduct. Court
- 4:17Speaker 1: documents said. So they're going in all the way on
- 4:20Speaker 1: jess Staley. According to JP Morgan, folks, everything was Jess
- 4:24Speaker 1: Daley's fault. He's the only guy here who had anything
- 4:29Speaker 1: to do with Jeffrey Epstein, and of course he made
- 4:32Speaker 1: every decision for the company as well, according to this lawsuit.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Now back to reality. We know that's not the case.
- 4:39Speaker 1: We know that there are many channels that this sort
- 4:42Speaker 1: of thing has to go through. We know that there's
- 4:44Speaker 1: an auditing department, there's risk management, and all of these
- 4:49Speaker 1: different levers of security, all of these redundancies were bypassed.
- 4:54Speaker 1: You mean to tell me that Jess Staley had that
- 4:57Speaker 1: kind of power. I mean, I guess it's pos possible.
- 5:00Speaker 1: But if that's the case and you're a shareholder of
- 5:03Speaker 1: JP Morgan, do you have any faith in Jamie Diamond
- 5:06Speaker 1: at this point, Bro, you can't even control your underlings
- 5:10Speaker 1: to not pallel around with Jeffrey Epstein. Why do you
- 5:13Speaker 1: think that you should run this whole last company? Seems
- 5:16Speaker 1: like a pretty straightforward question, right. Unfortunately, none of these
- 5:20Speaker 1: goofballs in the legacy media will ever ask it. Staley
- 5:24Speaker 1: persisted for years in protecting Epstein in the face of
- 5:27Speaker 1: attempts by JPMC personnel to end the company's relationship with
- 5:31Speaker 1: Epstein on reputational grounds, made misrepresentations in the process, and
- 5:37Speaker 1: continued to do so to the end of his JP
- 5:41Speaker 1: Morgan tenure, the bank said in the court filing. And
- 5:44Speaker 1: Epstein victim has alleged that Staley sexually abused her while
- 5:48Speaker 1: he was working at the bank. Court document said, and look,
- 5:52Speaker 1: I believe the accuser who is saying this, especially if
- 5:55Speaker 1: the accuser is who I think it is. If that's
- 5:58Speaker 1: the case, the whole entire thing is about the fall
- 6:02Speaker 1: in on the head of JP Morgan and Jess Staley,
- 6:05Speaker 1: because this survivor was with Epstein all the time, from
- 6:09Speaker 1: the time she was fourteen. And if that's the case,
- 6:12Speaker 1: and it is who I think it is, she has
- 6:14Speaker 1: all the keys to the kingdom. She knows everything, She
- 6:18Speaker 1: knows all the people who are around, she knows all
- 6:20Speaker 1: the people who are involved, and I'm sure she's found
- 6:24Speaker 1: a very receptive audience to hear her stories. When we're
- 6:27Speaker 1: talking about the United States, Virgin Islands and their legal team,
- 6:32Speaker 1: JP Morgan Chase said this week that it did not know,
- 6:35Speaker 1: nor could it have reasonably known, of the woman's allegations.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Staley's attorneys did not immediately respond to her request for comment.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Stale has called the accusations baseless, but has expressed regret
- 6:49Speaker 1: for his relationship with Epstein. Once again, he is not
- 6:53Speaker 1: regretful that he had a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. He's
- 6:56Speaker 1: regretful that he was caught. He's regretful that all of
- 7:00Speaker 1: you out there are putting his ass on blast on
- 7:02Speaker 1: a regular basis. That's what he's worried about. That's what
- 7:05Speaker 1: he regrets. Epstein was convicted of procuring a child for
- 7:10Speaker 1: prostitution in two thousand and eight. He died by suicide
- 7:13Speaker 1: in twenty nineteen at a Manhattan correctional center where he
- 7:17Speaker 1: was being held on federal sex trafficking charges. Allegedly died
- 7:22Speaker 1: by suicide. By the way, has anyone seen any real
- 7:25Speaker 1: concrete evidence telling us he died by suicide? Or are
- 7:29Speaker 1: we just going by what the medical examiner and good
- 7:32Speaker 1: old Bill Barr told us? Because I don't believe either
- 7:35Speaker 1: of them. JP Morgan Chase was sued by the US
- 7:39Speaker 1: Virgin Islands and a woman identified as Jane doe Ie
- 7:43Speaker 1: last year, claiming it turned a blind eye towards Epstein's conduct. Well,
- 7:47Speaker 1: so do the Virgin Islands, right, the USVII has some
- 7:51Speaker 1: audacity here, considering Epstein went down there, set up shop,
- 7:55Speaker 1: got in bed with local officials, started doling out a
- 7:59Speaker 1: bunch of dough, and committed all of these crimes down
- 8:02Speaker 1: in your territory. Yet somehow you still come out smelling
- 8:06Speaker 1: like roses, meaning the Virgin Islands with a big, fat
- 8:09Speaker 1: bank roll and looking for more. Pretty amazing if you
- 8:12Speaker 1: ask me. Internal emails and memos filed as exhibits this
- 8:17Speaker 1: week revealed that the bank executives were concerned about the
- 8:20Speaker 1: financial institution's relationship with Epstein, dating to two thousand and six.
- 8:25Speaker 1: In October two thousand and six, the bank's Rapid Response
- 8:29Speaker 1: Team issued a memo saying Epstein had banking asset and
- 8:33Speaker 1: credit accounts with balances that amounted to thirty two million dollars.
- 8:39Speaker 1: The memo also said cash withdrawals were routinely made in
- 8:43Speaker 1: sums of forty thousand to eighty thousand, multiple times a month,
- 8:47Speaker 1: totaling over seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars year to date.
- 8:51Speaker 1: According to the document, no big deal there, I mean,
- 8:54Speaker 1: it's not like you was structuring those transactions right.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Oh wait, he was?
- 8:58Speaker 1: And here I was thinking, at least according to JP Morgan,
- 9:02Speaker 1: that they had no idea what was going on, when
- 9:05Speaker 1: that is demonstrably provable to be a lie. The memo
- 9:10Speaker 1: said that after internal discussions with Jess Staley, Mary Airdos,
- 9:14Speaker 1: Katherine Keating, John Duffy, and Mary Casey.
- 9:17Speaker 2: It was decided that we will keep.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Mister Epstein solely as a banking client and on a
- 9:23Speaker 1: reactive client service basis, and that we will not proactively
- 9:27Speaker 1: solicit new investment business from him. Another month later, and Borrowich,
- 9:32Speaker 1: a JP Morgan Chase executive, emailed Staley with the subject
- 9:36Speaker 1: line Epstein please call me. In the email, she said
- 9:40Speaker 1: she had concerns on risk management with this client, and
- 9:44Speaker 1: we have a bad track record internally on risk as
- 9:47Speaker 1: you know. Is Jeffrey going to stay involved here? How
- 9:51Speaker 1: are we managing risk here? Please call Borrowitch said in
- 9:55Speaker 1: an email in twenty thirteen, Two bank directors emailed about
- 9:59Speaker 1: the private bank risk unit, referring Epstein in two thousand
- 10:03Speaker 1: and eight to its anti money laundering program because of
- 10:07Speaker 1: excessive cash activity and media reports alleging his connection to
- 10:11Speaker 1: sex trafficking. Epstein was marked as high risk at the time.
- 10:16Speaker 1: That's all they did.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Though.
- 10:17Speaker 1: You can mark them whatever you want, but you have
- 10:19Speaker 1: to take action. They did not take action. Remember That's
- 10:23Speaker 1: what it comes down to. Another email exchange from twenty
- 10:27Speaker 1: eleven indicates that the bank kept Epstein as a client
- 10:31Speaker 1: due to Jess's personal relationship with them, even though other
- 10:34Speaker 1: bank directors were not in favor of having retained them
- 10:38Speaker 1: as a client. So they knew. JP Morgan knew, and
- 10:41Speaker 1: they let Jess Daily do whatever he wanted. Remember, he
- 10:45Speaker 1: was working for them at the time. So the buck
- 10:47Speaker 1: stops at JP Morgan. One director in the same email
- 10:51Speaker 1: correspondence reported having also looked into transactions of one of
- 10:55Speaker 1: Epstein's assistants, which included lots of salon, lingerie shops, drug
- 11:00Speaker 1: stores in New York, Palm Beach, and in Saint Thomas
- 11:04Speaker 1: his places of residence, plus lots of video like Girls
- 11:09Speaker 1: Gone Wild. There is no doubt that not only Jess
- 11:13Speaker 1: Daly knew exactly what and who Jeffrey Epstein was, and
- 11:18Speaker 1: so did JP Morgan in Chase. So the whole back
- 11:21Speaker 1: and forth between JP Morgan and Jess Day is relatively laughable,
- 11:26Speaker 1: and hopefully the court comes down on both of them
- 11:29Speaker 1: like a ton of bricks. All right, folks, that's gonna
- 11:32Speaker 1: do it for this one. All of the information that
- 11:34Speaker 1: goes with the episode can be found in the description box.
- 11:38Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. So,
- 11:44Speaker 1: according to The New York Times, there were some provisions
- 11:48Speaker 1: that were carved out inside of the survivors' compensation fund.
- 11:53Speaker 1: That allows the survivors to go after people like Jess
- 11:56Speaker 1: Daly and Leon Black. And that's exactly what at least
- 12:01Speaker 1: one of the survivors is going to do. And that's
- 12:04Speaker 1: according to a new article that's out in the New
- 12:07Speaker 1: York Times. So let's dive into this article and let's
- 12:12Speaker 1: see what's going on in the world of Jeffrey Epstein
- 12:16Speaker 1: and his dirty ass scumbag friends. Today's article was published
- 12:21Speaker 1: by The New York Times and the headline Epstein victim
- 12:25Speaker 1: may pursue claims against two Wall Street executives. A carveout
- 12:30Speaker 1: provision allows at least one sexual abuse victim of Jeffrey
- 12:34Speaker 1: Epstein who settled with his estate, to pursue claims against
- 12:38Speaker 1: Leon Black and James Staley. Other survivors may follow. This
- 12:44Speaker 1: article was authored by Matthew Goldstein. At least one longtime
- 12:50Speaker 1: sexual abuse victim of Jeffrey Epstein who received a monetary
- 12:54Speaker 1: settlement from his estate, can also pursue separate claims against
- 12:59Speaker 1: two powerful Wall Street executives who had ties to the
- 13:02Speaker 1: convicted sex offender. According to two people briefed on the matter,
- 13:07Speaker 1: and that's good, right. If there's other people who are
- 13:10Speaker 1: liable here, they shouldn't be absolved of any sort of
- 13:14Speaker 1: responsibility because Jeffrey Epstein's estate decided to pay out some money.
- 13:19Speaker 1: That's ridiculous. If I was abused by Leon Black and
- 13:23Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, both of those scumbags are paying up end
- 13:26Speaker 1: the story, and that's the way it should be. Richard Kahn,
- 13:31Speaker 1: an executive of mister Epstein's estate, testified in a deposition
- 13:35Speaker 1: in May that the victim's settlement included a carve out
- 13:39Speaker 1: provision involving Leon Black, a billionaire private equity investor.
- 13:43Speaker 2: And James E.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Staley, a former top executive at JP Morgan Chase and Barclay's.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Said the people who were briefed on the deposition and
- 13:54Speaker 1: spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not
- 13:57Speaker 1: authorized to publicly discuss the matter, Well, we had not
- 14:01Speaker 1: heard that Richard Khan had been deposed, So that's a
- 14:04Speaker 1: good thing. Getting that guy under oath was a very
- 14:08Speaker 1: very important matter to get handled. And I wonder if
- 14:13Speaker 1: he perjured himself at all during that testimony. We know
- 14:16Speaker 1: that Darren Endyke and Richard Kahan were key pieces of
- 14:20Speaker 1: what Epstein had going on. They were around from the
- 14:23Speaker 1: very beginning. In Dyke's name and signature is everywhere on
- 14:28Speaker 1: documents as well as Cohn's. And then just listen to
- 14:31Speaker 1: what the survivors had to say about these two dudes,
- 14:34Speaker 1: and it's certainly a head scratcher how they ended up
- 14:36Speaker 1: as the executors and not as defendants. The exceptions made
- 14:42Speaker 1: for mister Black and mister Staley show how the two
- 14:45Speaker 1: men continue to be dogged by their social and business
- 14:48Speaker 1: dealings with mister Epstein four years after he killed himself
- 14:53Speaker 1: in a federal jail allegedly mister Goldstein while awaiting trial
- 14:57Speaker 1: on sex trafficking charges. You know what's so funny all
- 15:00Speaker 1: of these people that are so gung ho to believe
- 15:03Speaker 1: what the OIG wrote in that ridiculous report, but out
- 15:07Speaker 1: of the other side of their mouth, they're criticizing this
- 15:10Speaker 1: ruling or that ruling, and then they say, well, that
- 15:13Speaker 1: was just a bad decision by the court or a
- 15:16Speaker 1: bad decision by the Supreme Court. Well, how about a
- 15:19Speaker 1: bad decision by the OIG. But that would run directly
- 15:23Speaker 1: in the face of the narrative that they're trying to
- 15:25Speaker 1: spin and that narrative is. Look, everybody's a conspiracy theorist,
- 15:30Speaker 1: and Jeffrey Epstein most certainly killed himself. How do we
- 15:34Speaker 1: know that, Well, we're telling you that. Meanwhile, the OIG
- 15:37Speaker 1: report did nothing, nothing, not one single thing. Just to
- 15:42Speaker 1: be clear, Okay, you wanted an Italian, I'll give it
- 15:44Speaker 1: to you an Italian too. It did ugats when it
- 15:47Speaker 1: comes to furthering any sort of reliable narrative about what
- 15:52Speaker 1: happened inside of that jail cell, and furthermore, what happened
- 15:56Speaker 1: the first time around inside of the jail cell with
- 15:59Speaker 1: Nicholas Tartak. You notice the New York Times and mister
- 16:03Speaker 1: Goldstein here and the rest of the reporters that cover
- 16:07Speaker 1: this case. I'm using air quotes. They never bring that
- 16:09Speaker 1: part of it up. And the reason that they never
- 16:12Speaker 1: bring up tartag Leoni and what happened in that jail
- 16:15Speaker 1: cell is because it absolutely destroys the rest of the
- 16:18Speaker 1: narrative moving forward. The arrangement could set a precedent for
- 16:23Speaker 1: other victims of mister Epstein, potentially exposing mister Black and
- 16:27Speaker 1: mister Staley to further scrutiny and the liability they deserve.
- 16:32Speaker 1: All of it all the scrutiny, all the liability, and
- 16:35Speaker 1: hopefully all of the repercussions that comes with it. She
- 16:40Speaker 1: was a victim potentially to these individuals, mister Kahn said
- 16:44Speaker 1: in the deposition. According to one of the people, mister
- 16:47Speaker 1: Kahn said that mister Epstein's estate agreed to the carve
- 16:50Speaker 1: out provision so that the unnamed woman could potentially sue
- 16:54Speaker 1: for harms that she incurred. Well, as much as I
- 16:58Speaker 1: hate Endike and Khan, I'm glad to see that the
- 17:01Speaker 1: estate acquiesced to.
- 17:03Speaker 2: This portion of it.
- 17:04Speaker 1: That way, the woman here doesn't just have to say,
- 17:08Speaker 1: you know what, I got a payment from Epstein's estate,
- 17:11Speaker 1: so everybody else is off the hook. Screw that. Enough
- 17:14Speaker 1: of that nonsense. Everybody who was involved has to be
- 17:18Speaker 1: brought in, prosecuted if they've done something criminal, and arrested.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I don't understand what the hold up is here and
- 17:25Speaker 1: what the problem is. In the deposition, mister Kahn, who
- 17:30Speaker 1: was mister Epstein's longtime accountant, said at least one other
- 17:33Speaker 1: victim had sought a similar carve out from the estate.
- 17:36Speaker 1: According to the person, he suggested in testimony, without providing details,
- 17:42Speaker 1: the other victims might have asked for the provision with
- 17:45Speaker 1: regard to other men, The person said it was unclear
- 17:49Speaker 1: from mister Kahn's deposition whether either of the women had
- 17:52Speaker 1: pursued claims against mister Black or mister Staley, or what
- 17:57Speaker 1: their specific claims might be. The people briefed on the
- 18:00Speaker 1: deposition said, well, we know what the claims are. We
- 18:04Speaker 1: know what women are saying about Leon Black and Jeff Staley,
- 18:08Speaker 1: and then we have Jeff Staley's own emails that are
- 18:12Speaker 1: more than suspect, talking about Snow White, Beauty and the Beast.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Come on, do you really think they were talking about
- 18:19Speaker 1: Disney movies or were they talking about something a lot
- 18:23Speaker 1: more sinister. In settling claims with victims, mister Epstein's estate
- 18:27Speaker 1: had sought to limit the potential for litigation against anyone
- 18:31Speaker 1: with ties to mister Epstein, something that should have never
- 18:34Speaker 1: been allowed by the way, that should have never been
- 18:37Speaker 1: allowed by the government. But you know, the USVII and
- 18:40Speaker 1: the government down there, they care so much about the victims, right,
- 18:44Speaker 1: give me a break as there's stuffing money in their
- 18:46Speaker 1: pockets like Scrooge McDuck. Both mister Black, co founder of
- 18:50Speaker 1: the private equity firm Apollo Global Management, and mister Staley
- 18:54Speaker 1: had been frequent visitors to mister Epstein's Manhattan residence. Mister
- 18:59Speaker 1: Black paid mister Astein one hundred and fifty eight million
- 19:02Speaker 1: dollars for tax and estate planning services, outsize payments that
- 19:06Speaker 1: are now drawing scrutiny from the Senate Finance Committee. Oh,
- 19:10Speaker 1: they finally got around to it. Huh, that's nice of them.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Why they're too busy playing political fuck the football before? Oh,
- 19:18Speaker 1: that's exactly what they were doing. The whole lot of
- 19:21Speaker 1: them discussed me. By the way, all of our elected officials,
- 19:24Speaker 1: I don't look at any of them and say to myself, Man,
- 19:27Speaker 1: this is somebody I can trust, This is somebody that's
- 19:30Speaker 1: gonna do the right thing. And why do I take
- 19:32Speaker 1: such a cynical outlook when it comes to our politicians. Well,
- 19:36Speaker 1: take a look at the way they behave, take a
- 19:38Speaker 1: look at all of this shit going on, all of
- 19:41Speaker 1: the things that are wrong in this country, and they
- 19:43Speaker 1: can't even figure it out. They can't come together, they
- 19:46Speaker 1: can't work together. Everything's a big argument. Everything has to
- 19:50Speaker 1: be absolutely politicized. That way, they can continue to divide
- 19:54Speaker 1: me and you so they can continue to do what
- 19:57Speaker 1: they want to do without any scrutiny. That's the pla.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I can't believe more people don't see it. But that's
- 20:02Speaker 1: what they've been doing forever, and that's what they continue
- 20:05Speaker 1: to do. Do you really think that these politicians that
- 20:08Speaker 1: are out there talking all this trash about the other
- 20:11Speaker 1: politicians really mean that it's like wrestling. Oh sure, they
- 20:15Speaker 1: hate each other when the cameras are on, but when
- 20:18Speaker 1: the camera goes off, they all work together again to
- 20:20Speaker 1: continue to plunder your future and your wealth. Meanwhile everybody
- 20:24Speaker 1: stands on the sidelines and cheers them on. Susan Estrich,
- 20:28Speaker 1: a lawyer for mister Black, said, the leak of mister
- 20:31Speaker 1: Kahn's deposition testimony is baseless character assassination, involving anonymous women
- 20:37Speaker 1: who have never brought a claim against mister Black. So
- 20:40Speaker 1: you know that this is a heavy claim. If Susan
- 20:43Speaker 1: Estrich is trying to get out in front of it
- 20:45Speaker 1: the way she is, she knows that this is going
- 20:47Speaker 1: to have blowback, and she knows that the writing is
- 20:50Speaker 1: on the wall for Leon Black to now face other
- 20:54Speaker 1: civil suits. Sarry Boyd were prohibited by lack team plus
- 20:57Speaker 1: terms and conditions applag see website for details. Lawyers from
- 21:01Speaker 1: mister Staley did not respond to a request for a comment.
- 21:04Speaker 1: A lawyer for mister Kahn declined to comment. The deposition
- 21:08Speaker 1: from mister Kahn was in connection with a class action
- 21:11Speaker 1: lawsuit filed last year by mister Epstein's survivors against J. P.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Morgan Chase, the largest bank in the United States, and
- 21:20Speaker 1: a related lawsuit against the bank by the US Virgin Islands.
- 21:25Speaker 1: The lawsuits contend that the bank turned a blind eye
- 21:28Speaker 1: to mister Epstein's trafficking of teenage girls and young women
- 21:32Speaker 1: to and from his residences in the Virgin Islands, Manhattan, Florida,
- 21:36Speaker 1: and New Mexico because he was a wealthy client with
- 21:40Speaker 1: famous and powerful friends. Don't even get me started on
- 21:44Speaker 1: New Mexico. What occurred down in New Mexico as far
- 21:48Speaker 1: as an investigation, is straight up embarrassing and everybody involved
- 21:53Speaker 1: down there, Baldaris and everybody else should hang their heads
- 21:56Speaker 1: in shame for the rest of their lives. In June,
- 22:00Speaker 1: JP Morgan agreed to pay two hundred and ninety million
- 22:03Speaker 1: dollars to settle the class action lawsuit, but it continues
- 22:06Speaker 1: to contest. The suit by the Virgin Islands, which seeks
- 22:09Speaker 1: one hundred and ninety million and damages. JP Morgan is
- 22:14Speaker 1: also suing mister Staley in connection with that suit, claiming
- 22:17Speaker 1: he could be liable for damages. So basically, what we
- 22:21Speaker 1: have here are a bunch of monkeys banging a football.
- 22:23Speaker 1: That's what it looks like. Okay, lawsuits coming from every side.
- 22:27Speaker 1: This one's liable, that one's liable. Breaking news, You bunch
- 22:31Speaker 1: of dicks, You're all liable. In a court filing on Monday,
- 22:36Speaker 1: JP Morgan said it continued to do business with mister
- 22:39Speaker 1: Abstein because it relied on mister Staley's representations that mister
- 22:43Speaker 1: Abstein had turned the page on his past conduct. So
- 22:48Speaker 1: his past conduct he was fixed from that. He was
- 22:51Speaker 1: no longer a molestor, he was no longer a child abuser.
- 22:55Speaker 1: We all know that people that do what Epstein did,
- 22:57Speaker 1: don't stop.
- 22:58Speaker 2: What are you even talking?
- 23:00Speaker 1: He turned the page. It's not like this guy didn't
- 23:03Speaker 1: pay his taxes and got nailed for that. We can
- 23:06Speaker 1: all forgive that, right Ah, Yeah, the guy didn't want
- 23:08Speaker 1: to pay his taxes. Shitty, but I get it. Hurting children,
- 23:13Speaker 1: trafficking women, yeah, sorry, not the same thing. An internal
- 23:18Speaker 1: review of mister Staley's company Emails conducted by JP Morgan
- 23:23Speaker 1: following mister Epstein's twenty nineteen arrest found that the two
- 23:26Speaker 1: men had shared sexually suggestive emails. Lawyers from mister Staley
- 23:31Speaker 1: in court papers have said he did nothing wrong and
- 23:35Speaker 1: he was unaware of any sex trafficking by mister Epstein.
- 23:38Speaker 1: He had no idea, folks, none of them knew anything.
- 23:41Speaker 1: They had no idea. In twenty twenty one, mister Black
- 23:46Speaker 1: resigned as chairman and chief executive of Apollo over his
- 23:51Speaker 1: ties to mister Epstein. This year, he quietly agreed to
- 23:54Speaker 1: pay sixty two and a half million dollars to the
- 23:57Speaker 1: Virgin Islands to head off a potential lawsuit that would
- 24:00Speaker 1: have claimed his large payments to mister Epstein helped finance
- 24:04Speaker 1: the sex trafficking operation in the US territory. And you
- 24:08Speaker 1: see why they don't use rico right because if they did,
- 24:11Speaker 1: they'd have to arrest Leon Black. They'd have to arrest
- 24:14Speaker 1: all of these scumbags that hold the keys to the kingdom.
- 24:17Speaker 1: And when I say the keys to the kingdom, I
- 24:19Speaker 1: mean the financial sector. Who do you think puts your
- 24:22Speaker 1: favorite politicians in office? You think it's you. You think
- 24:27Speaker 1: it's all those ballots that were sent in.
- 24:29Speaker 2: No, it's not.
- 24:30Speaker 1: It's these people that are pulling the strings of their puppets.
- 24:34Speaker 1: They're the puppeteers, people like Leon Black. Okay, so keep
- 24:38Speaker 1: that in mind when you're arguing about your favorite politicians.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Mister Black is also being sued by two other women
- 24:45Speaker 1: who say they were raped by him roughly two decades
- 24:48Speaker 1: ago at mister Epstein's Manhattan townhouse. Miss Estrich called those
- 24:53Speaker 1: allegations false and frivolous. Lawyers from mister Epstein's survivors have
- 24:58Speaker 1: estimated that He's second actually abused hundreds of teenage girls
- 25:02Speaker 1: and young women over two decades. More than one hundred
- 25:06Speaker 1: and twenty five women have received one hundred and fifty
- 25:09Speaker 1: three million dollars in settlement payments from either a restitution
- 25:13Speaker 1: fund set up by the estate or in deals negotiated
- 25:17Speaker 1: directly by the estate, as was the case with the
- 25:21Speaker 1: two women mister Kahn was asked about during his deposition.
- 25:25Speaker 1: All right, so, as you can see here, Leon Black
- 25:28Speaker 1: and Jess Staley certainly aren't out of the woods when
- 25:31Speaker 1: it comes to getting sued. Survivors who have taken money
- 25:35Speaker 1: from the Survivor's fund. Well, they're still going to be
- 25:39Speaker 1: able to sue Jess Staley and Leon Black, according to
- 25:42Speaker 1: the deposition of Richard Kahn. And that's a big development
- 25:46Speaker 1: because now that means that they're personally liable for their bullshit.
- 25:51Speaker 1: But unfortunately it's not going to matter because at the
- 25:54Speaker 1: end of the day, they're just going to break out
- 25:56Speaker 1: their checkbook and pay their way out of whatever trouble
- 26:00Speaker 1: they find themselves in. And that's what happens when everything's
- 26:03Speaker 1: civil and nothing is criminal. So here we are talking
- 26:07Speaker 1: about a sec O case that should have been a
- 26:09Speaker 1: RICO case, and all of Jeffrey Epstein's pals and fellow
- 26:13Speaker 1: travelers are doing nothing more than pulling out their checkbook
- 26:16Speaker 1: and buying their way out of trouble, while the rest
- 26:19Speaker 1: of us are left aghast wondering if any real justice
- 26:23Speaker 1: is ever going to arrive. All right, folks, that's gonna
- 26:26Speaker 1: wrap it up for this one. All of the information
- 26:28Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
- 26:31Speaker 1: description box. What's up everyone, and welcome back to the
- 26:35Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. One of the more ridiculous claims in the
- 26:40Speaker 1: new legal filings by Prince Andrew is him actually trying
- 26:45Speaker 1: to tell us that him and Glaine Maxwell weren't homies.
- 26:49Speaker 1: It is one of the most absurd claims I've heard
- 26:52Speaker 1: in quite some time, and folks, we've heard them all
- 26:56Speaker 1: since we've been following this case. But Prince Andrew is
- 27:00Speaker 1: adamant in these court filings that him and Glean Maxwell,
- 27:03Speaker 1: you know, they were just casual friends, you know, pass
- 27:06Speaker 1: you by in the bar, give you a nod of
- 27:08Speaker 1: the head as you're going to get a pint and
- 27:10Speaker 1: keep it moving type friends.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I guess.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Meanwhile, the facts tell a completely different story. Tonight, we're
- 27:17Speaker 1: going to talk about an article from The Mirror that
- 27:20Speaker 1: points to nine different times Gleann Maxwell and Prince Andrew
- 27:24Speaker 1: we're looking pretty chummy. But we're also going to discuss
- 27:28Speaker 1: an article from the New York Post about Jess Staley
- 27:32Speaker 1: before we even dive in about Prince Andrew and his
- 27:35Speaker 1: cozy relationship with Glen Maxwell. Now, Jess Staley is well,
- 27:43Speaker 1: I guess I should say was one of the most
- 27:45Speaker 1: powerful men in the financial world. This dude was the
- 27:49Speaker 1: gatekeeper over at JP Morgan for a very very long time.
- 27:56Speaker 1: He ran the investment banking division over at JP Morgan,
- 27:59Speaker 1: and that is where all of the big shots come,
- 28:02Speaker 1: you know, to do their wieling and dealing with their money.
- 28:06Speaker 1: They come in and you know, these guys manage the
- 28:08Speaker 1: money for them, make transactions whatever it may be. This
- 28:12Speaker 1: is what the division is there for. And Jess Staley
- 28:16Speaker 1: was the guy who was the big shot over there,
- 28:19Speaker 1: mister head honcho, mister dud in charge, and him and
- 28:23Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Were really close.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Another one of those relationships that doesn't get the kind
- 28:29Speaker 1: of spotlight that it deserves, and it certainly does deserve
- 28:33Speaker 1: a whole lot of spotlight, just like the situation with
- 28:35Speaker 1: Leon Black. When you have somebody like Jeffrey Epstein and
- 28:39Speaker 1: he has access to movers and shakers like this in
- 28:42Speaker 1: the financial world, what are we supposed to think when
- 28:46Speaker 1: these people are lobbying for him, when these people are
- 28:49Speaker 1: giving them one hundred and fifty eight million dollars for
- 28:52Speaker 1: I'm using air quotes right now, folks, advice, What are
- 28:55Speaker 1: we supposed to think that it's all on the up
- 28:58Speaker 1: and up, that these guys are just you know, chums
- 29:01Speaker 1: and they're hanging out having a chat like the rest
- 29:03Speaker 1: of us. Over you know, Crispy taco night. Nobody's buying it.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Nobody believes that bs. And I'm not gonna sit here
- 29:11Speaker 1: and tell you that. You know, there's a room full
- 29:14Speaker 1: of six people who are sitting around, you know, controlling
- 29:17Speaker 1: the world or anything like that.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I'll leave that to other people.
- 29:20Speaker 1: That's out of my lane. But what I will tell
- 29:23Speaker 1: you is this, people like Jess Staley, people like Leon Black,
- 29:27Speaker 1: those people really hold the keys. If you're in control
- 29:30Speaker 1: of the financial world, if you're the in control of
- 29:33Speaker 1: the way you know the money is moving through the
- 29:37Speaker 1: banking system, that would give you a lot of power,
- 29:41Speaker 1: wouldn't it. And when you have some of the biggest
- 29:43Speaker 1: people in the world in this industry hanging out with
- 29:50Speaker 1: Epstein and facilitating his financial malfeasance, what are we supposed
- 29:54Speaker 1: to say? Are we just supposed to just say forget it,
- 29:57Speaker 1: turn our heads and say, ah, no big deal.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Usually that's what we would do.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Right, if it was just the usual stealing and evading
- 30:04Speaker 1: taxes and all of that jazz, shrug our shoulders and
- 30:06Speaker 1: move on.
- 30:07Speaker 2: We have bigger problems.
- 30:08Speaker 1: All of us got to feed our families, and we
- 30:11Speaker 1: got to continue to pay the poor people's tax right,
- 30:13Speaker 1: But they messed up. They're really messed up. When they
- 30:16Speaker 1: thought that they were going to get over on us
- 30:18Speaker 1: with this one, when they thought that the Jeffrey Epstein
- 30:21Speaker 1: stuff was just gonna blow over and everybody was gonna
- 30:23Speaker 1: forget about it. That's not the case. Nobody's forgetting about it.
- 30:29Speaker 1: People want answers, and people like this who were connected
- 30:32Speaker 1: to Epstein, who were lobbying for him at a huge
- 30:37Speaker 1: firm like JP Morgan should be held to account. And
- 30:40Speaker 1: I know he lost his job at Barclays, right, that's
- 30:43Speaker 1: a good first step. But why haven't we had a
- 30:46Speaker 1: real look into the financials here? You mean to tell
- 30:49Speaker 1: me all of the financial transactions Epstein was moving through
- 30:53Speaker 1: this bank. We're on the up and up. We already
- 30:55Speaker 1: know that's not the case. We've already seen the finds
- 30:58Speaker 1: that these banks have got slapped with for their malfeasance,
- 31:02Speaker 1: for not respecting the fins in process. But none of
- 31:07Speaker 1: these bankers, the men in charge, the women in charge,
- 31:10Speaker 1: the people at the top, When do any of them
- 31:12Speaker 1: get held accountable. Nobody goes to prison. None of these
- 31:16Speaker 1: people ever go to prison. And that's because they're the
- 31:19Speaker 1: ones that are holding the bag. And we all know
- 31:23Speaker 1: what happens when a president gets elected in America, Inevitably
- 31:27Speaker 1: his whole entire cabinet, transition staff, all of it is
- 31:31Speaker 1: filled with people from the financial sector, and then you
- 31:34Speaker 1: wonder why the wheel just continues to go around and round.
- 31:39Speaker 1: All right, So we're going to talk about this article
- 31:41Speaker 1: real quick from the New York Post and Jess Staley.
- 31:44Speaker 1: It's a relatively short article. That's why we're doing it
- 31:47Speaker 1: at the top end here of this episode and not
- 31:50Speaker 1: doing an episode for this article alone. I don't think
- 31:53Speaker 1: there's any point in doing an eleven minute episode, so
- 31:56Speaker 1: we'll just tack it on here and then.
- 31:58Speaker 2: We'll add the other article here to the back end.
- 32:02Speaker 1: This article was authored by Lydia moynihan and it was
- 32:08Speaker 1: posted in the New York Post headline OUs did Barclay CEO?
- 32:13Speaker 1: Jess Daley reportedly back Depstein at JP Morgan. I mean
- 32:18Speaker 1: it's just crazy. JP Morgan's like this gigantic house, you know,
- 32:22Speaker 1: big time financial institution, and this is the sort of
- 32:27Speaker 1: stuff they're really getting up to when all of the
- 32:30Speaker 1: nonsense and you know, the curtains are pulled back and
- 32:34Speaker 1: you peel their face off when they're talking about.
- 32:36Speaker 2: How woke they are or whatever.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Really what they're doing is they're trying to refocus all
- 32:42Speaker 1: of our energy and all of our oh you know, rage,
- 32:46Speaker 1: if you will, at each other as opposed to them.
- 32:50Speaker 1: And they got a good glimpse of what was going
- 32:52Speaker 1: on during Occupy Wall Street, and they understood that there
- 32:56Speaker 1: was a ground swell coming against them, so they changed
- 32:59Speaker 1: their tactics in corporate America, right, and places like JP
- 33:03Speaker 1: Morgan and these banking institutions, let's put on a friendlier face.
- 33:07Speaker 1: But just because they say that that's what they are,
- 33:10Speaker 1: just because they say that they're, you know, hipped to
- 33:12Speaker 1: the times, we all know.
- 33:13Speaker 2: That BS walks right.
- 33:17Speaker 1: It's a lot of BS from these companies because when
- 33:20Speaker 1: you look at the way they conduct business, it's the
- 33:23Speaker 1: same old or even worse than usual. Recently, oust did
- 33:29Speaker 1: Barclay CEO Jess Staley went to bat for convicted sex
- 33:32Speaker 1: offender Jeffrey Epstein when he ran the investment banking division
- 33:36Speaker 1: at JP Morgan. According to a report, JP Morgan was
- 33:40Speaker 1: examining whether to boot Epstein as a client because of
- 33:43Speaker 1: his thirteen month prison sentence tied to soliciting sex from
- 33:46Speaker 1: a minor, meaning having sex with an underage girl. Soliciting
- 33:50Speaker 1: sex from a minor. What an absolutely ridiculous charge. An
- 33:54Speaker 1: absolutely ridiculous charge. There's no such thing as soliciting sex
- 33:58Speaker 1: from a minor. You're committing you know, if under a
- 34:03Speaker 1: certain age, you're committing a rape, statutory rape at the
- 34:07Speaker 1: very least. But Staley, who ran the Giant's investment bank,
- 34:16Speaker 1: argue that Epstein had paid his debt to society and
- 34:19Speaker 1: should remain a client. According to the report Wednesday in
- 34:22Speaker 1: the Financial Times, I mean, yeah, he really paid his
- 34:24Speaker 1: debt to society.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Huh.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Folks had to check into the jail for a couple
- 34:28Speaker 1: hours a day, was able to run around, still conduct business,
- 34:31Speaker 1: go to his office and according to some survivors, continue
- 34:35Speaker 1: to abuse people while there was a riff on duty.
- 34:37Speaker 1: But na, nothing was a miss down there in Palm
- 34:40Speaker 1: Beach either. I mean, really, he paid his debt to society.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Huh.
- 34:44Speaker 1: There's not enough punishment on this planet for this dude
- 34:48Speaker 1: to repay his debt to society and forget that his
- 34:52Speaker 1: debt to these survivors. Staley's efforts came after Epstein was
- 34:58Speaker 1: convicted in two thousand and eight. According to the ft
- 35:01Speaker 1: JP Morgan eventually severed its relationship with Epstein in twenty
- 35:05Speaker 1: and thirteen, the same year Staley departed the JPM for
- 35:10Speaker 1: a new job at the hedge fund at a hedge fund,
- 35:12Speaker 1: before rising to run Barclays in twenty and fifteen. Now,
- 35:18Speaker 1: I guess it's just another coincidence, right, That's what people
- 35:21Speaker 1: who want to That's what they'll tell you. Oh, it's
- 35:22Speaker 1: just another coincidence. Me, I don't know what to call it. Sure,
- 35:27Speaker 1: are a lot of coincidences. In this case, camera's not
- 35:29Speaker 1: pointing at the jail cell. He happens to leave in
- 35:32Speaker 1: twenty and thirteen, right when the relationship with Epstein ends.
- 35:35Speaker 1: You know, just a coincidence, I guess, folks. But really
- 35:38Speaker 1: what's going on here is you see the correlation, the
- 35:42Speaker 1: relationship with Epstein and Jess Staley. It was a tight
- 35:46Speaker 1: one and Staley was a huge, huge deal when it
- 35:49Speaker 1: comes to making the money move. Staley's support for Epstein
- 35:54Speaker 1: at JP Morgan underscores his long standing ties to the
- 35:58Speaker 1: disgraced financier pedophile and how he advocated on Epstein's behalf
- 36:02Speaker 1: well before it resulted in Staley's exit from Barclay's late
- 36:06Speaker 1: last year. In November, report surface that Staley and Epstein
- 36:10Speaker 1: had exchanged around twelve hundred emails during Staley's thirty year
- 36:13Speaker 1: tenure at JP Morgan. Some emails revealed questionable and unexplained
- 36:18Speaker 1: phrases like snow white, according to the FT, and we
- 36:21Speaker 1: talked about this too, snow white. I mean, look, you
- 36:25Speaker 1: can delve into a lot of different things when you're
- 36:28Speaker 1: talking about code words and find yourself down a lot
- 36:31Speaker 1: of rabbit holes. But they're obviously using some kind of
- 36:34Speaker 1: code here.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Now, I'm not one of the wind talkers. I'm not
- 36:38Speaker 1: going to sit here and tell you, oh I've I
- 36:40Speaker 1: got my little decoder ring out of the cheerio box
- 36:42Speaker 1: and I figured it all out. But they're obviously up
- 36:45Speaker 1: to something. Staley stepped down from Barclays in November after
- 36:49Speaker 1: he reviewed initial findings from a probe by UK regulators
- 36:53Speaker 1: into whether he had mischaracterized his relationship with Epstein as
- 36:57Speaker 1: purely professional. According to the FT, Staley is contesting the findings.
- 37:02Speaker 1: JP Morgan declined to comment to the FT. A spokesman
- 37:06Speaker 1: for Staley also declined to comment. Shocking right, and they'll
- 37:10Speaker 1: get away with it. Nobody will hand these people no way,
- 37:12Speaker 1: they're too busy covering the Stormy Daniels case. Staley has
- 37:18Speaker 1: stated his relationship with Epstein fizzled following the banker's departure
- 37:21Speaker 1: from JP Morgan. And that's an ongoing theme too, right, Oh,
- 37:25Speaker 1: our relationship fizzled, Our relationship ended, shocking. But even after
- 37:30Speaker 1: he left the bank, helmed by Jamie Diamond, he visited
- 37:33Speaker 1: Epstein at his private island in the Caribbean, Little Saint James,
- 37:37Speaker 1: according to reports. And I you know, Jamie Diamond will
- 37:39Speaker 1: never get called on the carpet for this either.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Never. He's you know, one of the golden boys.
- 37:45Speaker 1: For all of the political class. Remember, folks, who's holding
- 37:48Speaker 1: the bag here?
- 37:49Speaker 2: It ain't you?
- 37:49Speaker 1: Well you think your one hundred two hundred dollars donation
- 37:52Speaker 1: to insert politician here is moving the needle. They're not
- 37:55Speaker 1: accepting your call when you call their office, are they?
- 37:58Speaker 1: You're getting a staffer? You think Jamie Diamond gets a
- 38:01Speaker 1: staffer if he calls the office of whatever politician he's
- 38:05Speaker 1: looking to talk to. Staley worked at Blue Mountain Capital
- 38:09Speaker 1: from twenty and thirteen to twenty and fifteen before nabbing
- 38:13Speaker 1: the top job at Barclays in twenty and fifteen. Meanwhile,
- 38:17Speaker 1: Epstein began working with Deutsche Bank in twenty and thirteen,
- 38:21Speaker 1: according to the FT, after being cut off by JP
- 38:24Speaker 1: Morgan following Staley's departure from JP Morgan. Epstein died in
- 38:28Speaker 1: twenty and nineteen in prison as he awaited trial on
- 38:32Speaker 1: charges he's sex trafficked miners. Now, Deutsche Bank is just
- 38:36Speaker 1: a den of scum and villainy, and they've been slapped
- 38:39Speaker 1: with so many fines that it's not even funny. And
- 38:42Speaker 1: now my question is how many people have they hit
- 38:45Speaker 1: with the poor people tax? And what I mean by
- 38:48Speaker 1: the poor people tax is the inflated rates of borrowing
- 38:53Speaker 1: the finance rates. How many people have they absolutely hammered
- 38:58Speaker 1: with a twenty percent rate on a car for a
- 39:00Speaker 1: piece of garbage car that's hardly gonna last. These people
- 39:05Speaker 1: are just gross. Honestly, at this level, when we're talking
- 39:08Speaker 1: about this level of banker and the way they conduct themselves,
- 39:11Speaker 1: you think they care about the survivors or that Jeffrey
- 39:14Speaker 1: Epstein was a convicted sex offender. No way, he brought
- 39:18Speaker 1: more money to their pockets, more prestige, opened some more doors,
- 39:22Speaker 1: had some more relationships built for them, and like I
- 39:26Speaker 1: always say, with people like this, the means always justifies
- 39:30Speaker 1: the ends, and to the rest of us, we look
- 39:32Speaker 1: around and we just shake our heads, like, really, one's
- 39:34Speaker 1: enough enough. Don't you people have enough money? Don't you
- 39:37Speaker 1: have enough power? But for them the answer is always no. Now,
- 39:42Speaker 1: Jess Daley is somebody I've been talking about for a
- 39:45Speaker 1: long time, and before the pandemic, I said that he
- 39:48Speaker 1: was in big trouble back then, and it took a
- 39:51Speaker 1: little while. Obviously Barclays was trying to write the ship,
- 39:55Speaker 1: if you will, during the pandemic and didn't want to
- 39:58Speaker 1: upset the apple cart. But the writing was on the wall.
- 40:02Speaker 1: And it's no shock to me that he's out, especially
- 40:04Speaker 1: considering we know how much deeper his relationship with Epstein
- 40:07Speaker 1: went then they even let on. So that's where we're
- 40:11Speaker 1: at with Jess Staley and the situation he finds himself
- 40:14Speaker 1: in currently. Now onto our next article from The Mirror.
- 40:21Speaker 1: This article was authored by Alana Kindred headline nine times,
- 40:26Speaker 1: Prince Andrew and Glainne Maxwell looked like good pals as
- 40:30Speaker 1: he denies closeness. Now, we talked about this a little
- 40:34Speaker 1: bit earlier. What a ridiculous claim, How are you gonna
- 40:36Speaker 1: say to anybody that you and Ghlainne Maxwell weren't close.
- 40:40Speaker 1: It's so ridiculous that his lawyers would even add this.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I just don't even know what to say about it, honestly,
- 40:47Speaker 1: Prince strongly as excuse me, Prince Andrew is strongly denied
- 40:50Speaker 1: he was close friends with now convicted sex trafficker Glainne Maxwell.
- 40:55Speaker 1: At least they got it right and called her a
- 40:56Speaker 1: convicted sex trafficker here, that's a good start. The Duke
- 40:59Speaker 1: of York reported attempt to distance himself from Maxwell comes
- 41:03Speaker 1: as he has demanded a trial by combat, I mean
- 41:05Speaker 1: a trial by Jerry, denying to a New York court
- 41:08Speaker 1: a catalog of sex abuse allegations brought by his accuser,
- 41:12Speaker 1: Virginia Roberts. So obviously that was the first salvo for
- 41:18Speaker 1: him answering these accusations and giving us this ridiculousness that
- 41:22Speaker 1: we're talking about still tonight. On December twenty ninth, Maxwell sixty,
- 41:27Speaker 1: was found guilty of offenses relating to her work as
- 41:30Speaker 1: a fixer for the Duke's associate Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted
- 41:33Speaker 1: pedophile and billionaire. She faces up to sixty five years
- 41:37Speaker 1: in prison. So a couple things. Duke's associate Jeffrey Epstein.
- 41:42Speaker 1: There were both of the Duke's associates, okay, and I
- 41:45Speaker 1: would say that he was probably closer to GLEAINN. Maxwell
- 41:47Speaker 1: than he was to Epstein. Even let's remember Glaiinne Maxwell
- 41:50Speaker 1: was the gatekeeper to the Miss Roberts claims that Epstein
- 41:57Speaker 1: and Maxwell made her have sex with the Duke three
- 41:59Speaker 1: times when she was seventeen, including once in London. Prince Andrew,
- 42:03Speaker 1: who has always strongly denied the allegations, but up until
- 42:07Speaker 1: now it was a very generic version of denial. Right, Well,
- 42:11Speaker 1: he dropped his formal denial, and I guess you can
- 42:14Speaker 1: see why he kept a generic for so long, because
- 42:17Speaker 1: he has nothing to go on. In an eleven page
- 42:20Speaker 1: response to Miss Roberts lawsuit yesterday, Andrew denied wrongdoing, but
- 42:25Speaker 1: he did say in this document that he met Epstein
- 42:28Speaker 1: in or around nineteen ninety nine. The Prince refuted her
- 42:32Speaker 1: major claims while admitting to befriending Epstein, but denied he
- 42:37Speaker 1: was ever a close pal of British socialite Maxwell. Trafficker Maxwell,
- 42:41Speaker 1: you mean and again, absolutely ridiculous, ludicrous, moronic, stupid, gaslighting whatever,
- 42:49Speaker 1: you want to call it, it's all of that, because
- 42:51Speaker 1: we know it's not the case. We've seen the pictures.
- 42:55Speaker 1: The Duke sixty one said it was not true and
- 42:58Speaker 1: he was a free that it was not true that
- 43:00Speaker 1: he was a frequent guest of Epstein's various homes around
- 43:03Speaker 1: the world, including New York City, where he's sexually abused
- 43:06Speaker 1: Virginia Roberts at Epstein and Maxwell's invitation when she was
- 43:10Speaker 1: a minor. Andrew's strenuous denials of not being close with
- 43:14Speaker 1: Maxwell comes years after the pair have been photographed together
- 43:18Speaker 1: on multiple occasions around the world. I mean yeah, around
- 43:22Speaker 1: the world. Everywhere you can imagine. These two have been
- 43:25Speaker 1: photographed together. They had a long history together, folks. And
- 43:29Speaker 1: you don't have access to the palace the way she did,
- 43:32Speaker 1: or to the property of the way she did, if
- 43:34Speaker 1: you're not close to somebody. Epstein and Maxwell at Balmoral.
- 43:42Speaker 2: The photo of.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell sitting in the Queen's log cabin in
- 43:45Speaker 1: glenn Beg, Balmoral was taken in the late summer or
- 43:48Speaker 1: early autumn of nineteen ninety nine. So there's one for you.
- 43:51Speaker 1: You know, you got the picture of these two at
- 43:53Speaker 1: Ballymoral certainly not a good look for them. The next instant,
- 44:00Speaker 1: Andrew Maxwell, Donald Trump, and Epstein and mar A Lago.
- 44:04Speaker 1: February two thousand, Andrew was photographed with Donald Trump and
- 44:07Speaker 1: his wife Malania Trump. In the background, you see Epstein
- 44:10Speaker 1: looking directly at the camera and Maxwell's face is scene
- 44:13Speaker 1: peering into the frame on the right hand side. I mean,
- 44:16Speaker 1: we all know that these people were all paling around together.
- 44:19Speaker 1: It's not even a debate at this point. Now we
- 44:24Speaker 1: don't know exactly the specific roles of every single person involved,
- 44:30Speaker 1: but we do know anyone that was hanging out with
- 44:33Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein knew what he was about, knew that he
- 44:37Speaker 1: was not a normal guy. And if you were hanging
- 44:39Speaker 1: out with him after the first conviction, you knew he
- 44:41Speaker 1: was a convicted sex offender. Andrew and Maxwell at Ascot.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Prince Andrew and Maxwell attended the Royal Ascot in June
- 44:49Speaker 1: two thousand. They were photographed with Epstein, another one of
- 44:52Speaker 1: the Duke's former girlfriends, Carolyn Neville and her husband Edward Stanley,
- 44:57Speaker 1: Andrew and Maxwell leaving the wedding of a former girlfriend
- 45:00Speaker 1: September two thousand. The Duke attended the wedding of his
- 45:03Speaker 1: former girlfriend or really a cecial with Maxwell. The pair
- 45:06Speaker 1: arrived together but walked in separately, according to reports at
- 45:10Speaker 1: the time. I mean, look, all of these different examples
- 45:14Speaker 1: are just more evidence of the BS he was trying
- 45:18Speaker 1: to run on us. The next one Andrew and Maxwell
- 45:21Speaker 1: partying at a Halloween party. The pair were photographed together
- 45:25Speaker 1: at supermodel Heidi Klum's Halloween party in October of two thousand.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Now remember how close they were at this point in time.
- 45:32Speaker 1: And now Andrew will tell you, oh, well, we weren't close.
- 45:34Speaker 1: So what are you doing at the Hookers in the
- 45:38Speaker 1: Pimps and Hose party, Hookers and Pimps theme bash at
- 45:40Speaker 1: the Hudson Hotel, Because that's what you were doing at
- 45:43Speaker 1: the Halloween party with at Howdi Klum's Halloween party. So
- 45:48Speaker 1: you're there with Maxwell, but you're not close, you don't
- 45:50Speaker 1: know her. You just go to hookers and Pimps party,
- 45:53Speaker 1: Pimps and hose party. I mean, when I worked in
- 45:57Speaker 1: the joint here in Las Vegas, those parties were absolutely
- 46:01Speaker 1: insane types of parties invited on a shooting weekend at Sandringham.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Photos from December two thousand have shown Maxwell and Epstein
- 46:11Speaker 1: on a pheasant shoot with Andrew. They spent the weekend
- 46:14Speaker 1: in Norfolk at the Sandringham estate. Andrew spoke to the
- 46:17Speaker 1: BBC Newsnight in twenty nineteen about his links to Epstein
- 46:21Speaker 1: and when he was asked about that weekend, he said,
- 46:23Speaker 1: it was a straightforward shooting weekend. Whatever that means. Anyone
- 46:27Speaker 1: want to explain to the rest of us what that
- 46:28Speaker 1: means a straight forward shooting weekend. What you have bent
- 46:31Speaker 1: shooting weekends, crooked shooting weekends. What is a straightforward shooting weekend?
- 46:37Speaker 1: Andrew photographed with Roberts and Maxwell in London. Now we
- 46:41Speaker 1: all know about this photograph. I'm not even gonna go
- 46:43Speaker 1: into it. Maxwell and Kevin Spacey's tour of the palace.
- 46:48Speaker 1: So we know Kevin Spacey and Maxwell had a tour
- 46:50Speaker 1: of the palace, got the pictures, the whole nine. So again,
- 46:55Speaker 1: how are you going to tell us that you're not
- 46:57Speaker 1: close with Glene Maxwell? And then fine for this article,
- 47:01Speaker 1: but certainly not the last time they were hanging out Andrew, Maxwell,
- 47:04Speaker 1: Epstein and Harvey Weinstein at Andrew's daughter Beatrice's birthday in
- 47:09Speaker 1: two thousand and six. Beatrice's eighteenth birthday party was held
- 47:12Speaker 1: at Windsor Castle. Photos published in the Sun on Sunday
- 47:15Speaker 1: shows now convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein with Epstein and
- 47:19Speaker 1: Maxwell talk about the Three Stooges, the three gross disgusting morons.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Maxwell wore a feathered mask as she smiled and in photos
- 47:28Speaker 1: taken at the bash that was attended by some four
- 47:31Speaker 1: hundred guests. Epstein was being investigated by US authorities at
- 47:34Speaker 1: the time he attended the party. Two months later, he
- 47:37Speaker 1: was issued a warrant for sexual assault of a miner.
- 47:40Speaker 1: You mean to tell me that nobody warned the Prince.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Nobody in the Foreign Affairs Office called over and said, hey, look, dude,
- 47:46Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's sick fuck boys. What are you guys doing?
- 47:51Speaker 1: Maybe they didn't, but I'll tell you what. Either way,
- 47:54Speaker 1: what's Prince Andrew doing? I mean, here's an idea. Why
- 47:56Speaker 1: don't you google the people you're hanging out with. During
- 48:01Speaker 1: a newsnight interview in twenty nineteen, Andrew claimed he didn't
- 48:05Speaker 1: know about the proceedings and that Epstein had attended because
- 48:08Speaker 1: he had invited Maxwell. So again, he says in the interview,
- 48:11Speaker 1: he invited Maxwell, but all of a sudden, him and
- 48:14Speaker 1: Epstein were the close ones. None of it makes sense,
- 48:17Speaker 1: all right, the whole story he's pitching, and this whole
- 48:20Speaker 1: entire line that him and Maxwell weren't close might be
- 48:23Speaker 1: what sinks him here. And that's why I wanted to
- 48:25Speaker 1: focus on this again tonight. Pretty sure Judge Kaplan's going
- 48:29Speaker 1: to take a look at this and say the same
- 48:30Speaker 1: thing I'm saying, what are you talking about, Buddy? I
- 48:33Speaker 1: see the evidence here. You were obviously close to her,
- 48:36Speaker 1: And if you can't be truthful about the very basics,
- 48:39Speaker 1: the small little nuance, then you're definitely not being truthful
- 48:44Speaker 1: about the overall story either. So that's where it's at
- 48:47Speaker 1: with Prince Andrew. And when you look at the rebuttal
- 48:52Speaker 1: he put forward here, it is absolutely ridiculous. And for
- 48:57Speaker 1: him and his legal team, I mean maybe they were
- 49:00Speaker 1: excited when they put that together. They all had a toast,
- 49:03Speaker 1: maybe clanked a couple of glasses, thought they did a
- 49:06Speaker 1: good job.
- 49:07Speaker 2: But boys, tell you.
- 49:08Speaker 1: What, barely getting a C grade here, and lucky to
- 49:13Speaker 1: get that, because this whole entire response was not the
- 49:18Speaker 1: right way to go about it in my opinion. Anyway,
- 49:21Speaker 1: I guess we'll have to see, we'll come back and
- 49:23Speaker 1: we'll check this episode after all is said and done,
- 49:27Speaker 1: and we'll see if I was close to the mark
- 49:29Speaker 1: or not. But so far, when we're talking about these
- 49:32Speaker 1: people and the way they've gone about defending themselves, this
- 49:36Speaker 1: has not been the right way to do it. They've
- 49:38Speaker 1: all failed, and I would expect to see Prince Andrew
- 49:41Speaker 1: fail as well if he keeps this up. Especially so
- 49:44Speaker 1: tomorrow morning we'll pick back up and we'll see what's
- 49:47Speaker 1: going on with Maxwell and Epstein and Andrew and the
- 49:51Speaker 1: rest of them. And you know that we're going to
- 49:53Speaker 1: have a couple of curves in the road, if you will,
- 49:56Speaker 1: and some more bumps before we get to the end,
- 50:00Speaker 1: because there is so much more we do not know.
- 50:04Speaker 1: For everything that we do know, there's a ton more
- 50:06Speaker 1: that we don't know. And every day more becomes available,
- 50:10Speaker 1: and as we get more document dumps and more things
- 50:13Speaker 1: are unsealed, hopefully we'll get more information and the picture
- 50:18Speaker 1: will become more clear. All right, everybody that's gonna do
- 50:22Speaker 1: it for tonight. I will be back tomorrow morning with
- 50:26Speaker 1: a morning update. Obviously some context episodes come in your
- 50:29Speaker 1: way in the meantime, and we'll be off and running.
