- 0:10Speaker 1: We got Bass, we got horns, we got Michael left Floria,
- 0:12Speaker 1: we got me Marcus Grant. That means it's a startup
- 0:14Speaker 1: Centam show. It is a Friday, it is Week fourteen.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It is the final week for you to try to
- 0:19Speaker 1: make the playoffs in your fantasy league, at least most
- 0:22Speaker 1: fantasy league. So this means a whole lot no pressure
- 0:25Speaker 1: at all? Right, none? None? What's I know?
- 0:28Speaker 2: All of you out there will be logical and be
- 0:30Speaker 2: like I ultimately made the decision. Of course, That's how
- 0:33Speaker 2: it always goes.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Right, That's how it always goes. I don't have somebody
- 0:36Speaker 1: in my DMS already telling me that maybe I shouldn't
- 0:39Speaker 1: have told him the city Ezekiel Elliott after he put
- 0:41Speaker 1: up twenty plus points, I said to.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Sid ZK last week, and I got more messages than
- 0:46Speaker 2: ever in my life. I told everyone to start zeke crickets.
- 0:53Speaker 1: All right, there we are. This is the Stardum Citnam Show.
- 0:55Speaker 1: He's Michael left Floria and he writes the start Sit
- 0:57Speaker 1: column every single week on NFL dot com. You can
- 1:00Speaker 1: find it at NFL dot com slash starts Sit. See
- 1:02Speaker 1: how handy that is. We're gonna have the top starts
- 1:04Speaker 1: and sits of the week. We're gonna tell you who's
- 1:06Speaker 1: going to pile up the points, and Lawan Jones is
- 1:08Speaker 1: going to join us a little bit later to talk sleepers,
- 1:10Speaker 1: which are very important in a week when you have
- 1:12Speaker 1: to make the playoffs, especially when there are two teams
- 1:15Speaker 1: on a buy, because why would they do that. Let's
- 1:18Speaker 1: start though, at the quarterback list for a week fourteen.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Florio tellis who is up and who is down?
- 1:23Speaker 2: I think Russell Wilson is in play, as is m
- 1:26Speaker 2: V Party Tua always brings a lot of upside love
- 1:30Speaker 2: wins start Jordan Love this week Justin Fields as well,
- 1:33Speaker 2: my sis, this one's a little spicy. Justin Herbert Gino
- 1:37Speaker 2: Smith because forty nine ers Matthew Stafford will talk about.
- 1:40Speaker 2: And I don't care who starts for the Saints.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I think you sit there quarterback this week. So no
- 1:44Speaker 1: Derek Carr, no Jamis Winston, no Bobby Abear, none of them.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Just sit all these Saints quarterbacks this week. Let's go
- 1:51Speaker 1: and start with Justin Fields, who really has played well
- 1:55Speaker 1: this year. I know he spent a lot of time injured.
- 1:58Speaker 1: We got to see Tyson bagent for while, but he's
- 2:01Speaker 1: back in what is a very intriguing matchup against the
- 2:03Speaker 1: Detroit Lions, and you're feeling okay with him against those
- 2:06Speaker 1: those indoor cats who are forced to play outdoors.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yeah, one, Jared Goff might struggle to put up some
- 2:11Speaker 2: points on the board. Who knows, but Justin Fields in
- 2:14Speaker 2: his last three games against the Lions has ran for
- 2:16Speaker 2: over one hundred yards in each of them. And it
- 2:18Speaker 2: just so happens that the Lions allow the most rushing
- 2:20Speaker 2: yards to quarterbacks so far this season. He is top
- 2:23Speaker 2: twenty one in three of his last four games, and
- 2:25Speaker 2: quarterbacks against the Lions have top twenty one in three
- 2:28Speaker 2: of their last four games they have played. And the Lions,
- 2:31Speaker 2: even if GoF struggles in the cold, we know they'll
- 2:33Speaker 2: probably put up some points, which means the Bears will
- 2:36Speaker 2: have to keep their foot on the gas in this one.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's the case. I know Adam Rank
- 2:40Speaker 1: is big on this. I mean he's always big obviously
- 2:42Speaker 1: on the Bears offense, but he does think this is
- 2:45Speaker 1: the first that I'm sure you're hearing of it, but
- 2:47Speaker 1: he does think that Justin Fields is going to push
- 2:49Speaker 1: the ball downfield that we won't see as many screens
- 2:51Speaker 1: because a couple weeks ago, more screens than a Black
- 2:54Speaker 1: Friday sale for the Chicago Bears offense. Matthew Stafford, former Lion,
- 2:59Speaker 1: now playing four with the Rams. They got to go
- 3:01Speaker 1: on the road to take on a very good Ravens defense,
- 3:04Speaker 1: and it's been kind of an underwhelming year for Matthew Stafford.
- 3:08Speaker 1: This feels sort of like an easy sit this week.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Yeah. I know, he's broken out the last couple of
- 3:12Speaker 2: weeks with seven passing touchdowns in his last two games,
- 3:15Speaker 2: and you're probably thinking I hate him or something because
- 3:17Speaker 2: he's routine LEAs sit in this article. But last week
- 3:21Speaker 2: was the first time in almost two months that we
- 3:23Speaker 2: saw him put up some serious yardage numbers. But now
- 3:26Speaker 2: he gets the Ravens, who have allowed the fewest passing
- 3:29Speaker 2: touchdowns allowed. They've allowed the fewest yards to quarterbacks since
- 3:33Speaker 2: Week nine. Matthew Stafford. Right now, I think you sit
- 3:36Speaker 2: him this week. But if you've been streaming quarterbacks and
- 3:39Speaker 2: you've made the playoffs, check your waiver wire if he's
- 3:41Speaker 2: out there, because next week they get the Commanders.
- 3:43Speaker 1: That is a week you could play Matthew Stafford. This
- 3:46Speaker 1: is not Yeah, I think there are some playoff weeks
- 3:48Speaker 1: for Matthew Stafford. This is not a week that I
- 3:50Speaker 1: would take that chance with him. Meanwhile, the other quarterback
- 3:54Speaker 1: who plays his home games in Los Angeles, this one,
- 3:58Speaker 1: this one is spicier than the Chili kills. This morning
- 4:00Speaker 1: at breakfast, Justin Herbert, Ay, he's a sit this week. Look.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I love Justin Herbert the football player. I had him
- 4:07Speaker 2: as my MVP pick coming into the season.
- 4:10Speaker 1: That did not work out.
- 4:11Speaker 2: But Justin Herbert has become boom or bust as of
- 4:15Speaker 2: late fourteen or fewer fantasy points in two straight and
- 4:18Speaker 2: four of his last seven over twenty four and those
- 4:21Speaker 2: other three. That's why I say he's boom or bust.
- 4:23Speaker 2: But it's more about the matchup to me. Since Week five,
- 4:26Speaker 2: no quarterback has scored eighteen fantasy points against the Broncos.
- 4:29Speaker 1: In that span.
- 4:30Speaker 2: They've played Patrick Mahomes twice, one time held him to
- 4:33Speaker 2: six fantasy points. They played Josh Allen, they played CJ. Stroud,
- 4:37Speaker 2: they played Jordan Love and they shut him all down
- 4:39Speaker 2: to fewer than eighteen fantasy points. Jordan Love being the
- 4:42Speaker 2: only one with multiple passing touchdowns, and my big fear
- 4:45Speaker 2: if Patrick Sartan can limit or even shut down Keenan Allen.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Who else are you afraid of in this Chargers passing
- 4:52Speaker 2: attack right now? So because of the matchup, Look, you're
- 4:56Speaker 2: not sitting him for anyone, but if you have Jordan Love,
- 4:58Speaker 2: if you have a Russell Wilson, I think you could
- 5:01Speaker 2: potentially get away from Justin here.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I mean, it's it's been a rough year for Justin Herbert,
- 5:04Speaker 1: and I think not all of it is his fault.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Sometimes his guys just don't squeeze the football. And I
- 5:08Speaker 1: think your point about where they go if Keenan Allen
- 5:12Speaker 1: can't succeed is a very valid one for the week.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Speaking of Keenan Allen, let's turn our attention to wide
- 5:18Speaker 1: receivers and who is on Florio's start sit list.
- 5:21Speaker 2: We got DJ Moore as a start this week. Brandon
- 5:24Speaker 2: Ayuk I think is always in play. Courtland Sutton comes
- 5:27Speaker 2: down with the hardest touchdown catch every single week. It
- 5:29Speaker 2: feels like Rashi Rice in play. Jaden Reed I think
- 5:33Speaker 2: it's a boost as well. My sits Adam Bielen. It's
- 5:37Speaker 2: just not the same without Frank right there, T Higgins,
- 5:40Speaker 2: Chris Godwin and Tyler Lockett in a very tough matchup
- 5:43Speaker 2: against your forty nine ers.
- 5:45Speaker 1: So let's go and dive into some of these individually.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Or she Rice. We know that he is the wide
- 5:51Speaker 1: receiver one in Kansas City. I feel like that has
- 5:53Speaker 1: sort of been settled. You like him against your Buffalo
- 5:56Speaker 1: Bills this week.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I do you mentioned that he is the wade receiver
- 6:00Speaker 2: one there? He has led them in targets two weeks
- 6:02Speaker 2: in a row. We know he's the top wide receiver.
- 6:04Speaker 2: He's becoming their top target. It seems the floor is safe.
- 6:08Speaker 2: He gives you eight or more fantasy points seemingly every
- 6:11Speaker 2: week in each of his last eight games as well,
- 6:14Speaker 2: and then he's top fourteen and two straight, so even
- 6:17Speaker 2: one where he went over twenty four. We're seeing more
- 6:20Speaker 2: upside and this could be a week. I think it
- 6:22Speaker 2: will be a week where the Bills are gonna put
- 6:24Speaker 2: up points on the Chiefs. So the Chiefs are going
- 6:26Speaker 2: to have to put up points if I mean, if
- 6:29Speaker 2: they're capable of. With the offensive slowed down, I think
- 6:31Speaker 2: they're gonna bounce back this week. I think it's a
- 6:33Speaker 2: high scoring game like we're used to when these two
- 6:36Speaker 2: teams match up.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Let's let's dis suck that sentence. If the Chiefs are
- 6:39Speaker 1: capable of putting up points. It's not a thing we
- 6:41Speaker 1: have said during the Patrick Mahomes era, but this is
- 6:43Speaker 1: where we are right now. I think they're gonna look
- 6:45Speaker 1: just fine this week. I think they're gonna be full revers.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Suld should feel it's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I think this game is gonna be fun this week.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I think we'll all be enjoyed watching it. T Higgins.
- 6:55Speaker 1: It's been a struggle for T Higgins all year long.
- 6:58Speaker 1: He's been injured, They've had quarter issues early in the year,
- 7:01Speaker 1: Joe Burrow wasn't healthy. Now Burrows out for the rest
- 7:03Speaker 1: of the year. Really, beyond Jamar Chase, it's been hard
- 7:06Speaker 1: to find any Bengals pass catcher is worth starting.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yeah, and Jake Browning looked really good on Monday night,
- 7:12Speaker 2: and it did not translate to any fantasy success for
- 7:15Speaker 2: t Higgins. He was fifth on the Bengals in targets
- 7:18Speaker 2: last week, and now he gets the Colts right, who
- 7:22Speaker 2: have allowed the fewest yards to wide receivers since Week nine.
- 7:25Speaker 2: They also use zone coverage at the highest rate in
- 7:28Speaker 2: the NFL. T Higgins has struggled against zone coverage this year.
- 7:31Speaker 2: So I know he's a big name and he's always
- 7:34Speaker 2: capable of surprising, but given how really down he's been
- 7:38Speaker 2: this year, not even many ups I think that you've
- 7:41Speaker 2: probably figured out how to survive without T Higgins and
- 7:44Speaker 2: that means you have other options, and if so, I
- 7:46Speaker 2: would take him and get away from Tea this week.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it's weird because for all the things Jake Browning did,
- 7:50Speaker 1: it was very, very heavy Jamar Chase, I think there's
- 7:53Speaker 1: not enough upside to really worry about trying to squeeze
- 7:57Speaker 1: T Higgins into a lineup. There. Just getting started here,
- 8:01Speaker 1: we're gonna talk some running backs and tight end stick around.
- 8:03Speaker 1: We got plenty more here on the Stardom Situm Show.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Start running backs for.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Week fourteen, Go Austin Eckler. I know I said to
- 8:15Speaker 2: sit Herbert. I still think you start him. Even with
- 8:18Speaker 2: the volume concerns. The Dolphins have two absolute must start
- 8:21Speaker 2: rb ones every single week. Zach Moss gets too much volume,
- 8:25Speaker 2: and I think AJ Dillon, as long as Aaron Jones
- 8:27Speaker 2: is still out, is in play this week. I don't
- 8:30Speaker 2: want to do the Texans running back thing anymore. I'm
- 8:33Speaker 2: washing my hands clean of that. I have Alexander Madison
- 8:36Speaker 2: as they sit this week, Khalil Herbert and Kareem Hunt
- 8:40Speaker 2: as well Alexander Madison.
- 8:43Speaker 1: All right, let's talk about Zack Moss because I know
- 8:46Speaker 1: it wasn't necessarily a great last couple weeks with him,
- 8:49Speaker 1: but you mentioned the volume and the Bengals run defense
- 8:52Speaker 1: has not been great. It feels like we're willing to
- 8:54Speaker 1: give Zach Moss another opportunity.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Yeah. A lot of people last week were like, you
- 8:58Speaker 2: told me to play Zach and he gave me eight
- 9:01Speaker 2: Fantasy points, And I'm like, Okay, I'm gonna tell you
- 9:03Speaker 2: to play Zach Moss again next week because he played
- 9:06Speaker 2: ninety four percent of the snaps, nineteen carries three targets,
- 9:10Speaker 2: but ran twenty nine roundes. He's out there every single snap.
- 9:14Speaker 2: That is why you just simply cannot pull him from
- 9:16Speaker 2: your lineup. And especially like Marcus said, the Bengals have
- 9:19Speaker 2: struggled against running backs, but they have allowed the fourth
- 9:23Speaker 2: highest rate of runs that have gone for ten or
- 9:25Speaker 2: more yards. So give him that much volume against his defense,
- 9:28Speaker 2: he's gonna have a couple of big runs. He's going
- 9:30Speaker 2: to have a bigger game last week was clearly a
- 9:32Speaker 2: floor game. I mean, running back is pretty thin right
- 9:36Speaker 2: now in fantasy. If you're telling me this guy's gonna
- 9:37Speaker 2: play over ninety percent of the snaps and get twenty touches, yeah,
- 9:40Speaker 2: I don't see how you don't start it.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Yeah, this is what we want, is volume, especially this
- 9:44Speaker 1: time of year, when we're so uncertain about the running
- 9:46Speaker 1: back position. Speaking of uncertainty about the running back position,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I mean Kareem Hunt, the volume hasn't been there, the
- 9:53Speaker 1: target share hasn't been there. You really are praying he
- 9:56Speaker 1: finds his way to the end zone. That's kind of
- 9:58Speaker 1: it for him.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Yeah, And who did Kareem Hunt? Because last week he
- 10:02Speaker 2: had more work than Jerome Ford and twelve carries to
- 10:06Speaker 2: Ford's nine. I believe it was. And I just kind
- 10:08Speaker 2: of wanted to be like, hey, take us take like,
- 10:11Speaker 2: take a breath. We're not trusting Kareem Hunt here. I
- 10:14Speaker 2: know Joe Mixon had a huge game last week on
- 10:16Speaker 2: Monday Night Football. The Jaguars up until that point had
- 10:19Speaker 2: allowed the fewest rushing yards in the NFL to running
- 10:22Speaker 2: backs and just two touchdowns. I know Mixing scored two
- 10:24Speaker 2: against them, but still they've been extremely stingy against the position.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Jerome Ford is the one who scored the touchdown last week.
- 10:31Speaker 2: We saw Pierre Strong getting some touches last week.
- 10:34Speaker 1: It is a mess.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I don't even love Jerome Ford this week, but I
- 10:38Speaker 2: think volume probably wins out for him there. Kareem Hunt,
- 10:42Speaker 2: I know he's a big name. You might be thinking
- 10:43Speaker 2: about streaming him. I would get away.
- 10:45Speaker 1: I yeah, I' pretty much gotten away from Kareem Hunt.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I think I even dropped him in a couple of
- 10:49Speaker 1: leagues because it's just has been so inconsistent that I
- 10:52Speaker 1: don't even want It's I don't want to look at
- 10:54Speaker 1: him on the bench and be like.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Maybe like, no, I don't I don't want that. I'm
- 10:57Speaker 2: doing the opposite. I'm holding him and I don't start
- 10:59Speaker 2: him any week.
- 11:00Speaker 1: But I'm too afraid to drop it. I just had
- 11:02Speaker 1: to make the move. I'm sorry. Let's get to tight
- 11:05Speaker 1: ends though. Start sit at a position that we always
- 11:07Speaker 1: are looking for help. Who do you like?
- 11:10Speaker 2: No surprise here, my guy, Dalton Kincaid must start every week.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Kyle Pitts just for the week. I'm not trying to
- 11:15Speaker 2: sell you on him anymore. Jake Ferguson I'm very excited
- 11:19Speaker 2: about this week as well. A little bit spicy here,
- 11:22Speaker 2: but sid Evan Ingram, Juwan Johnson, the Saints use four
- 11:25Speaker 2: tight ends last week and then Tyler Higbee that one
- 11:28Speaker 2: big game a couple of weeks ago is clearly the blip.
- 11:30Speaker 1: On the radar for the Rams tight end there. All right,
- 11:34Speaker 1: So we're gonna talk fur delicious, the f to the
- 11:36Speaker 1: e RG, the I the e He's been really good for,
- 11:40Speaker 1: really impressive, thank you. So is he going to be
- 11:43Speaker 1: furgolicious against the Eagles who've been pretty bad against tight
- 11:46Speaker 1: ends this year? Yes? Yes, like easily. Yes, not only one.
- 11:51Speaker 2: He lost Jamal Adams with the game on the line
- 11:54Speaker 2: the other day. But he's been scoring touchdowns pretty consistently,
- 11:58Speaker 2: a touchdown and more more than twelve fantasy points in
- 12:01Speaker 2: four of his last six games. But what I am
- 12:03Speaker 2: so excited for. Not only do the Eagles struggle against
- 12:06Speaker 2: tight ends, they've allowed the second most yards over the
- 12:09Speaker 2: middle right, the middle portion of the field. Jake Ferguson
- 12:12Speaker 2: is second on the Cowboys and targets in that portion
- 12:15Speaker 2: of the field only Ceedee Lamb has more, and Ceedee
- 12:17Speaker 2: Lamb is going to eat just fine this week. I
- 12:20Speaker 2: think you start obviously Lamb, I think you could start Ferguson.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I think you start Brandon Cooks. Get your Cowboys pass
- 12:25Speaker 2: catchers in your lineup, get.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Them in your lineup. Maybe not Michael Gallup, but I
- 12:28Speaker 1: think pretty much everybody else is in play there for Dallas.
- 12:32Speaker 1: All Right, So I know you were caveating it that
- 12:35Speaker 1: you know we're not quite as all in on Kyle
- 12:38Speaker 1: Pitts as we were early in the season, but the
- 12:40Speaker 1: matchup seems right this week for him.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and he had a team high eight targets last week,
- 12:45Speaker 2: so that is always encouraging. And like Marcus said, the
- 12:49Speaker 2: matchup the Bucks. Since Week nine, they've allowed the third
- 12:52Speaker 2: most yards to tight ends. They've allowed a ton of
- 12:54Speaker 2: yardage through the air just in general. And I know,
- 12:57Speaker 2: like people are asking about Drake London Kyle pitch this week.
- 13:01Speaker 2: My thing is the bar for fantasy success is so like,
- 13:04Speaker 2: if Kyle Pitts and Drake London each gave you nine
- 13:06Speaker 2: Fantasy points, you're gonna be like solid day for my
- 13:09Speaker 2: tight end, bad day for my wide receiver. So because
- 13:11Speaker 2: of that, I'll just take the play in the tight
- 13:14Speaker 2: end here. Yeah, tight ends against the Bucks always.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Feels like sort of a good opportunity right there by
- 13:19Speaker 1: the way on the side too. I like Kate Otten
- 13:21Speaker 1: as a deep sleeper because tight ends against the Falcons
- 13:24Speaker 1: also a pretty good opportunity there. We talked about the
- 13:27Speaker 1: Saints quarterbacks and how you were avoiding all of them
- 13:30Speaker 1: throughout time and space. Tight end Juwan Johnson, I will
- 13:35Speaker 1: throw this note in there. Taysom Hill has not been
- 13:37Speaker 1: at practice all week long. We'll see whether or not
- 13:40Speaker 1: he plays this week, but either way, you're still not
- 13:42Speaker 1: on with Juwan Johnson.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I streamed him last week. He gave me zero fantasy points.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I'm I don't know. I don't want to do it again.
- 13:49Speaker 2: The ceiling isn't that high and the floor is zero,
- 13:52Speaker 2: so it's very risky. Last week Jimmy Graham called a touchdown,
- 13:56Speaker 2: Foster Moreau had a long catch and run. Taysom Hill's
- 13:59Speaker 2: out there doing taste some Hill things, and whether or
- 14:01Speaker 2: not he plays, I mean, using three tight ends is
- 14:04Speaker 2: bad for fantasy purposes, So especially against the Panthers, which
- 14:08Speaker 2: is a game where the Saints probably will have a
- 14:10Speaker 2: lead regardless of who is their quarterback.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I just I think the.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Floor is way too risky with Jawan Johnson. That being said,
- 14:17Speaker 2: if Taysom Hill suits up for the Saints, you plug
- 14:19Speaker 2: him in and you start him as your tight end,
- 14:21Speaker 2: he will get a coal line touchdown in this one.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, look, if Taysoon plays, then we're starting Tayson.
- 14:27Speaker 1: That's all there is to it. Jawan Johnson definitely a
- 14:28Speaker 1: lot more volatile if you're just kind of trying to
- 14:31Speaker 1: stream tight ends. Especially we don't know who the quarterback
- 14:34Speaker 1: is going to be too. That's another part of the equation.
- 14:37Speaker 1: There still to come. The Kwan Jones stops by to
- 14:40Speaker 1: talk some sleepers, plus taking our weekly trip to Club Dub.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It's a part of the show where the Kwan Jones
- 14:51Speaker 1: gets to come and hang out with us on the
- 14:53Speaker 1: couch sporting a pretty snappy Godzilla's ta get that, Let's go.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Godzilla King of the Monsters is an all time classic,
- 14:59Speaker 1: the original ninth Team fifty four Godzilla King of the Monsters.
- 15:02Speaker 1: It is a great film. I'm like, I'm not even
- 15:05Speaker 1: being ironic here, Like it is a legitimate good film.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Go watch it to go check it out. It's a
- 15:11Speaker 1: very cautionary tale about the dangers of nuclear power and
- 15:14Speaker 1: nuclear testing that sort of thing. Check it out. I mean, yeah,
- 15:20Speaker 1: let's get serious about this whole thing. We're talking some
- 15:22Speaker 1: sleepers here because this is important. It's week fourteen. People
- 15:24Speaker 1: are trying to make the playoffs. We've got two teams
- 15:26Speaker 1: on a bye. We got a lot of people hurt.
- 15:28Speaker 1: People are looking for sleepers. So we going around the horn.
- 15:30Speaker 1: We each got a couple of them. LQ, who is
- 15:33Speaker 1: your first sleeper for the week.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I'm rocking with Alex Pierce this week.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Man.
- 15:36Speaker 3: He had a career high of one hundred receiving yards
- 15:39Speaker 3: last week, but only three catches. But he's a guy
- 15:41Speaker 3: that can take the top off the defense, stretch the field,
- 15:44Speaker 3: and going up against his Bengals defense, this will be
- 15:46Speaker 3: a game where you can get the real chunk plays
- 15:48Speaker 3: out of him. And you're looking at this Bengals defense also,
- 15:51Speaker 3: they're gonna allowing the most big plays. And he's lined
- 15:53Speaker 3: up out wide, and the Bengals right now are allowing
- 15:56Speaker 3: the second most receptions of twenty plus yards that are wide.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Receivers are line up out wide. So I'm looking at
- 16:01Speaker 3: this matchup. I'm like, look, I need help. I need
- 16:04Speaker 3: a guy in the flex. I think I can look
- 16:06Speaker 3: to Alec Pearce to be downfield and get some touchdowns, man,
- 16:09Speaker 3: And he's closing that gap on Josh Downs in terms
- 16:11Speaker 3: of snatch his targets. We're trying to make fetch happen
- 16:14Speaker 3: with Josh Downs, and it might not be happening right now.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yeah, not right now, backseat. I know you like Pierce
- 16:20Speaker 1: as well. I do. I do like Pierce as well.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I think look, I feel like he and down Downs
- 16:24Speaker 1: have similar target shares. I want the guy who's gonna
- 16:26Speaker 1: get chunk plays. They're they're targeting him downfield Josh Downs,
- 16:30Speaker 1: as much as I like his talent, like his average
- 16:32Speaker 1: up the target is like three yards. Yeah, I never
- 16:35Speaker 1: want my receiver to be catching the ball in the
- 16:37Speaker 1: blue line of scrimmage line to still be on the screen. Yeah,
- 16:40Speaker 1: seems bad, Florida. I'm not going to call you a homer,
- 16:43Speaker 1: But you do like Gabe Davis this week?
- 16:45Speaker 2: I do, and I have been kind of hard on
- 16:48Speaker 2: Gabe Davis this year. But we know he is boom
- 16:51Speaker 2: or bust, and we know that he is coming off
- 16:52Speaker 2: of a big game against an Eagles secondary. He had
- 16:54Speaker 2: over sixteen fantasy points against them. But the thing is
- 16:58Speaker 2: he comes to play in Arrowhead. In his last two
- 17:01Speaker 2: games against the Kansas City Chiefs, he has gone for
- 17:04Speaker 2: two hundred and seventy five yards and five touchdown two
- 17:09Speaker 2: seventy five and five in two games.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 17:12Speaker 2: And then again, the Chiefs offense is going to look
- 17:15Speaker 2: great this week, no doubt about that. So if they're
- 17:18Speaker 2: putting up points, the Bills are gonna have to put
- 17:20Speaker 2: up points and they're gonna have to throw the ball. Yeah.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I mean, look, Gabe Davis, he kind of is who
- 17:24Speaker 1: we thought he goes at this point, right, he's a
- 17:25Speaker 1: boomer bust guy. But this is a big game for
- 17:28Speaker 1: the Bills, the game potentially high scoring. I think there's
- 17:31Speaker 1: an opportunity for gab Davis to be the good Gabe Davis.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I guess, say, b Gabe Davis, But you know who
- 17:37Speaker 1: knows what that Gabriel Gabe. He might be two different right.
- 17:40Speaker 1: When he's really really good, he's Gabe like when he
- 17:43Speaker 1: plays Gabriel. Yes, yeah, so I think we can Gabe
- 17:46Speaker 1: this week and not Gabriel. I don't know what we
- 17:50Speaker 1: call aj Dillon when he's good versus when he's not,
- 17:53Speaker 1: But I do think this is a week for him
- 17:55Speaker 1: to be pretty good. Aaron Jones did practice on Friday,
- 17:59Speaker 1: but there's still some question whether or not he's going
- 18:01Speaker 1: to play on that met Live turf against the Giants
- 18:05Speaker 1: on Monday night. If he does not go, which seems
- 18:07Speaker 1: sort of wise against on that turf there with a
- 18:10Speaker 1: knee injury, We're going to see AJ Dillon get a
- 18:13Speaker 1: big workload. He's had about sixty five percent of the
- 18:16Speaker 1: carries in the recent weeks with no Aaron Jones, and
- 18:19Speaker 1: the Giants have been giving up a lot to running
- 18:21Speaker 1: backs over the last few weeks. I'm expecting the Packers
- 18:25Speaker 1: to have a lead here in this one and that
- 18:27Speaker 1: they'll be able to run the football in the second half.
- 18:30Speaker 1: You're not looking for efficiency, You're looking for volume, and
- 18:33Speaker 1: that's what it is for. As you mentioned, Florida our
- 18:36Speaker 1: favorite online farmer.
- 18:39Speaker 2: You could play any game online. Why would you play
- 18:41Speaker 2: one where you just sit there and watch someone farm.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I truly don't get it. I got no answers for
- 18:48Speaker 1: him nothing. I really got no answers for you, all right, okud.
- 18:52Speaker 1: In Cleveland, Joe Flacco may or may not be the
- 18:55Speaker 1: quarterback this week. Kevin Stefanski is being coy about it.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna say we got Joey instant this week. Yeah,
- 19:01Speaker 1: throwing the football and his a one bestie going from
- 19:05Speaker 1: New York to Cleveland appears to be Elijah Moore. Yeah.
- 19:07Speaker 3: I like him as a sleeper this week, man, because
- 19:09Speaker 3: that connection between him and Pretty Flacco is only going
- 19:12Speaker 3: to increase as the season wraps up. So I really
- 19:16Speaker 3: like him as a guy that is being utilized last
- 19:18Speaker 3: week as an all around wide receiver. He let all
- 19:21Speaker 3: wide receivers in Week thirteen in air yards, so with
- 19:23Speaker 3: Joe Flacco taking the chances downfield trying to get him involved,
- 19:27Speaker 3: but the healthy target share as well. He had twelve
- 19:29Speaker 3: targets last week. So if Joe Flacco was in the
- 19:31Speaker 3: mix this week as a starter, I could see him
- 19:34Speaker 3: performing just like last week, but maybe had a highly ceiling.
- 19:37Speaker 3: So if you need a wide receiver, he's highly available
- 19:39Speaker 3: on the waiver wire as well, so you snag him,
- 19:41Speaker 3: put him in plug and play, put some points on
- 19:43Speaker 3: the board.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Yeah. I know. I've been big on Elijah Moore ever
- 19:47Speaker 1: since they added Joe Flacco. They worked well together with
- 19:49Speaker 1: the Jets. Last week we saw him get a whole
- 19:51Speaker 1: lot of love and even this week. I know, if
- 19:53Speaker 1: you saw the video where Elijah Moore snuck into the
- 19:56Speaker 1: back of the press scrum, that was like asking him questions. Y,
- 20:00Speaker 1: so go check it out. But Elijah More, I think
- 20:02Speaker 1: I have some high hopes for this week. Actually, Floria,
- 20:06Speaker 1: we have gone round and round and round about the
- 20:09Speaker 1: Ravens backfield. But Keaton Mitchell, I don't know if he's
- 20:11Speaker 1: the new hotness, but he is the dude that we
- 20:13Speaker 1: all really like right now.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and the reason why we like him is because
- 20:17Speaker 2: he's explosive like Gus Edwards. Yeah, he'll probably still get
- 20:20Speaker 2: those goal one touches, but if any of these Ravens
- 20:23Speaker 2: running backs are going to go off and break out
- 20:25Speaker 2: a big long run or something like that, heat and
- 20:27Speaker 2: Mitchell is their best bet. And he led the Ravens
- 20:30Speaker 2: backfield in snaps, carries and targets two weeks ago before Thereby,
- 20:35Speaker 2: my hope is that, you know, the Ravens used their
- 20:38Speaker 2: week off to kind of be like, hey, we need
- 20:40Speaker 2: to get this kid more involved. Getting more touches, mak
- 20:42Speaker 2: him a bigger part of the offense. If he gets
- 20:44Speaker 2: a post bump by I truly believe he has RB
- 20:48Speaker 2: one upside in this matchup and moving forward. But even
- 20:51Speaker 2: if he doesn't, I think the upside is worth getting
- 20:54Speaker 2: him in as maybe an RB two.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Or a flex Kho has been better at sort of
- 20:59Speaker 1: defying groundvity, right, is it? Keaton Mitchell or is a
- 21:01Speaker 1: devon a Chang because both these guys just feel unsustainable,
- 21:05Speaker 1: but they both keep doing it.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Right now, it's probably a chan because that dude is
- 21:09Speaker 2: averaging like thirty one points for me.
- 21:11Speaker 1: But yeah, both of them, I mean just literally defying gravity.
- 21:16Speaker 1: It's amazing. I'm gonna round this out with Jerry Judy
- 21:19Speaker 1: going against the Los Angeles Chargers. I get it, man, Like,
- 21:25Speaker 1: whatever you feel about him, I mean, he kind of
- 21:27Speaker 1: has been a jag this year. He's mostly been just
- 21:29Speaker 1: a guy just one touchdown, no real big games. This
- 21:32Speaker 1: feels like a chance for him to have one of
- 21:34Speaker 1: the biggest games of the year. The Chargers secondary has
- 21:38Speaker 1: sort of been a mess most of the season. They
- 21:41Speaker 1: have the third most explosive plays allowed. Explosive plays according
- 21:44Speaker 1: to nextion Gen stats, being pass plays of sixteen or
- 21:47Speaker 1: more air yards. We know Courtland Sutton's going to do
- 21:50Speaker 1: his thing because every week he has some sort of
- 21:52Speaker 1: ridiculous acrobatic catch. But this could be an opportunity for
- 21:55Speaker 1: Jerry Judy to sort of get in on the fun.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I do also like Russell Wilson as a sleeper for
- 22:00Speaker 1: what it's worth. So I think Jerry Judy finally gets
- 22:03Speaker 1: something going his way this week. It has a really
- 22:06Speaker 1: decent day against the Chargers. I mean, okay, are we
- 22:10Speaker 1: sort of off the overall Jerry Judy bandwagon because I know,
- 22:13Speaker 1: a couple of years ago we thought maybe he was
- 22:15Speaker 1: going to be a thing.
- 22:15Speaker 3: No, I definitely thought he would probably be a guy.
- 22:18Speaker 3: But he's starting to look like just a guy, you
- 22:21Speaker 3: know what I mean. Like, I'm not too sure what
- 22:23Speaker 3: to do with him. In Dynasty as well, Redraft I
- 22:26Speaker 3: kind of was like off the bandwagon, kind of fade
- 22:28Speaker 3: and kind of wait and see how this offense turns out.
- 22:31Speaker 3: But he's kind of just in the mix. He's just
- 22:34Speaker 3: there most of the games.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Yeah, we know what Steve Smith would say. Yeah, we
- 22:38Speaker 1: really know what Steve Smith would say about it. Let's
- 22:39Speaker 1: bringing the heat man. Steve Smith like the one guy
- 22:44Speaker 1: that I would not get in an altercation with. Here.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Every NFL media just don't We're like the same hype,
- 22:49Speaker 1: but no time now for cluffs of the guys we
- 22:55Speaker 1: guarantee will score you at least twenty five Fantasy points
- 22:58Speaker 1: this week, LQ. Who you got? Listen?
- 23:00Speaker 3: I got Jamier Gibbs. Any chance I can get to
- 23:02Speaker 3: put him in my starting lineup, it would be this week.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Man.
- 23:04Speaker 3: He's so explosive, and I think the key for the
- 23:07Speaker 3: for the Lions to get the win out of this
- 23:09Speaker 3: is to put the ball in his hands. We look
- 23:11Speaker 3: back at week eleven, he had six receptions, which was
- 23:14Speaker 3: second on the team. So how you beat this Bears
- 23:16Speaker 3: rush defense is to get him involved in the passing
- 23:19Speaker 3: game because the Bears are allowing the third most receptions
- 23:22Speaker 3: two running backs this season. And since David Montgomery has
- 23:24Speaker 3: come back from injury, his focus has shift more on
- 23:27Speaker 3: the ground. So therefore, you get Jamiir Gibbs involved. How
- 23:31Speaker 3: he was in week eleven when they got that win,
- 23:33Speaker 3: and he had twenty one Fantasy points that week, So
- 23:35Speaker 3: let's get to twenty five this week. Cash in big
- 23:38Speaker 3: this week. Jamiir Gibbs.
- 23:39Speaker 1: All right, So Jamiir Gibbs gets the thumbs up? Who
- 23:42Speaker 1: you got?
- 23:43Speaker 2: Michael Pittman Junior look Alec Pierre's definitely a sleeper, but
- 23:48Speaker 2: the one that gets this offense going Michael Pittman Junior.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Since Week six fourteen or more Fantasy points in every game,
- 23:55Speaker 2: routinely goes for over sixteen last week twenty seven point five,
- 24:00Speaker 2: week before twenty point seven, he is one of five
- 24:02Speaker 2: wide receivers who gets ten or more targets, like in
- 24:05Speaker 2: seven or more games this year. The volume, the production,
- 24:08Speaker 2: all of that is too good. Plus I don't think
- 24:10Speaker 2: enough people are talking about it. The Colts are probably
- 24:12Speaker 2: fighting for their playoff life this week. If they lose,
- 24:15Speaker 2: it is very hard for.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Them to get in. So I think Michael Pittman Junior
- 24:18Speaker 1: is going to have a big, big game. Definitely like
- 24:20Speaker 1: Michael Pittman this week. I mean he has been the
- 24:23Speaker 1: strawlitz Sturs, the drink there in the Indianapolis offense. For me,
- 24:26Speaker 1: I'm going with the Pride of Freedom High School in Oakley, California.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Joseph Tyler Mixon for the Cincinnati Bengals going against those
- 24:33Speaker 1: same Indianapolis Colts. And the one thing we have seen
- 24:36Speaker 1: over the last few weeks, especially with Jake Browning at quarterback,
- 24:39Speaker 1: is that Mixon is very heavily involved in the passing game.
- 24:43Speaker 1: We know he's going to get the rushing opportunities. Has
- 24:45Speaker 1: one hundred percent of Cincinnati's rushing touchdowns this year. But
- 24:48Speaker 1: the fact that he is catching the ball more, I mean,
- 24:50Speaker 1: the thing we saw early in the season with no
- 24:52Speaker 1: samaj p Ryan, they were getting him involved, but now
- 24:55Speaker 1: with a quarterback who's just starting to get comfortable pushing
- 24:58Speaker 1: the ball downfield still means you get a whole lot
- 25:00Speaker 1: of Joe Mixon. Look, he hasn't had one of those
- 25:04Speaker 1: weird spike games where he gets like forty points and
- 25:06Speaker 1: then follows it up with like seven the next week.
- 25:09Speaker 1: He's been you know, twenty to twenty five and then
- 25:11Speaker 1: like his low games are like you know, ten to twelve,
- 25:13Speaker 1: which I can deal with a little bit more than
- 25:16Speaker 1: the super highs and the super lows. I think this
- 25:18Speaker 1: is another game though, where you get Joe Mixon over
- 25:20Speaker 1: twenty five points and he continues to be a really
- 25:23Speaker 1: nice option for you, especially if you drafted him as
- 25:25Speaker 1: an RB two. He's given you RB one numbers to you.
- 25:29Speaker 1: You called this big game on Monday Night last week,
- 25:31Speaker 1: as well. Yeah, I just you know, like I just
- 25:33Speaker 1: mostly cause I just didn't believe in anybody else. I
- 25:37Speaker 1: shout out to Jake Browning because he looked really, really good.
- 25:39Speaker 1: He's got that dog in him, and not just because
- 25:41Speaker 1: he played for the University of Washington. There it is. Hey,
- 25:44Speaker 1: we appreciate you hanging out with us. That'll do it
- 25:46Speaker 1: for this edition of the Stardum Cindam Show. Of course,
- 25:48Speaker 1: you can follow us on Twitter ex Twitter at NFL Fantasy.
- 25:52Speaker 1: You can follow each of us individually as well, but
- 25:54Speaker 1: that'll do it for this edition of the show. For
- 25:56Speaker 1: Lakwan Jones, for Michael F. Floyle, I am Marcus Grant.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Enjoy Week fourteen. Everybody, good luck. I'm getting into the
- 26:02Speaker 1: fantasy playoffs and we'll talk to you again real so
