- 4:55Dan Schulz: Dogs can run off leash inside the designated area, but outside that zone they need to be on a leash no longer than eight feet.
- 5:04Dan Schulz: There are trails, water access, and plenty of room for dogs to do dog stuff.
- 5:09Dan Schulz: Marymoor charges a dollar parking fee too, so bring water, bags, and a towel if your dog considers mud a recreational activity

- 6:01Jennifer Davis: interesting piece of history, trivia, or tidbit about life in and around Redmond So Dan, I got this question.
- 6:10Jennifer Davis: Bill Brown is the famous 30-year mayor, but who was Redmond's first mayor after incorporation in 1912?
- 6:18Jennifer Davis: Was it A, Luke McRedmond; B, Fred Rail; C, Georgia Erskine; or D, James Cleese?
- 6:28Jennifer Davis: And your time starts now
- 6:33Dan Schulz: 1912, I bet, uh, we weren't progressive enough to have a female.
- 6:39Dan Schulz: So sorry, Georgia, I'm going to guess that you were probably not it.
- 6:44Dan Schulz: Luke McRedmond, man, that is a tempting one Fred Rail, James Cleese.
- 6:51Dan Schulz: I'm going Luke McRedmond.
- 6:54Jennifer Davis: go with that guy?
- 6:55Dan Schulz: answer.
- 6:56Dan Schulz: Absolutely
- 6:57Jennifer Davis: Well, the answer is actually someone we've never heard of before.
- 7:01Jennifer Davis: It was B, Fred Rail Fred Relv was Redmond's first mayor, elected after the town finally hit 300 residents and was incorporated.
- 7:11Jennifer Davis: Bill Brown came later and steals most of the spotlight, but Rael is the one who got the first crack at running this city
- 7:28Dan Schulz: Rumor mill time, and this is a fun one.
- 7:30Dan Schulz: We've been hearing a rumor that a recovery-focused gym could be looking at space somewhere near the Burke-Gilman Trail.
- 7:38Dan Schulz: Think cold plunge, sauna, compression boots, and the kind of stuff people use after absolutely destroying themselves on a bike ride.
- 7:46Dan Schulz: We don't know the business, we don't know the location, and we don't know if it's happening at all, and that's why we call it a rumor.
- 7:53Dan Schulz: Would you actually use a place like that in Redmond if it were to open up?
- 7:58Dan Schulz: If you've got a guess as to who's behind it or maybe you've heard something, head on over to our Facebook page at facebook.com/bestofredmond and drop it in the Redmond Rumor Mill Guesses post.
