  We've talked about faith in the waiting and faith that makes space for God.

  But today I want to talk about something else, something that,

  What happens when faith is tested in real time?

  Yeah, because it's one thing to say you believe. It's another thing to stand

  on it when there's pressure.

  No practicing or not practicing on Sundays. That sounds simple, right?

  Until you think about it. So let's talk about this. Because in sports,

  every practice matters.
• 2:05
  Every rep matters. Every edge matters. So choosing to step away even for one
• 2:12
  day, that's not a decision, that's a statement.

  And it made me think, faith isn't always tested in the big dramatic moments.

  Sometimes it's tested in the quiet decisions that nobody sees.

  Do I stick to what I believe even if it puts me behind? Do I honor God even
• 2:31
  if it costs me something?

  That's where it gets real. I mean,

  think about that. That's where it gets real. It reminds me of Daniel.

  Oh, Daniel, when he was told not to pray, he didn't argue. He didn't make a scene.

  He just kept doing what he had always done. He prayed.

  And that decision put him in the lion's den. The lion's den for praying.

  That's the part we don't always talk about. Faith doesn't always make it easy.

  Faith doesn't always make life easier.

  Sometimes it makes it harder first.

  But it also makes you stronger. And maybe that's where you are today.

  That's where maybe we are today. Not in the big moments, but in the small decisions.

  Something tugging at you. A choice you know you need to make.

  And it might cost you something. It might cost you time, comfort, opportunity.

  But here's the question. What does your faith work to you?

  Because real faith, think about this, real faith as the sun rises here.

  Think about this, real faith. I'll just say that over and over again.

  Isn't just what we feel in a quiet moment.

  It's what we choose when it's inconvenient.

  And I think that's what encourages me most, like right now especially,

  seeing people, especially young people, not just talk about faith, but stand on it.

  Even when it's not easy, they stand on it.

  So let's do something different today. You don't need a big breakthrough.

  Maybe you just need to take one step or maybe one decision, one moment of saying,

  I'm going to trust God here. And that's enough.

  Let's pray about that. Heavenly Father, thank you for walking with us through

  every part of this journey.

  Not just in the waiting, not just in the quiet moments, but in the decisions

  that we have to make every day. Lord, give us courage.

  Courage to stand on your faith, even when it's difficult.

  Even when it costs something. When it costs us something.

  Help us to trust. help us to trust you more with trust.

  No, help us to trust you more than we trust our circumstances. That's about right.

  And remind us that when we stand with you, we're never standing alone.
