- 0:03Speaker 1: It's a post called twenty fives stuck ball and they
- 0:09Speaker 1: go a whizz, So yeah.
- 0:10Speaker 2: It's too bad, but what did you expect? It's a
- 0:13Speaker 2: podcast called twenty five.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Whist Souls Wine, presented by Draft Kings sportsbook and official
- 0:21Speaker 1: sports betting partner.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Of the NFL.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Download The DraftKings app used the code Bobby's Sports to
- 0:26Speaker 1: get in on the action.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Blow it fired up now. Although he wears his glove.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Although I just heard you say you're retiring your Cowboys
- 0:35Speaker 1: watching glove.
- 0:36Speaker 3: And I think so because I mean I wore it
- 0:38Speaker 3: when the Eagles beat the Cowboys, so I think I'm going.
- 0:40Speaker 4: To move on.
- 0:41Speaker 2: But what if the glove actually made the Cowboys play better?
- 0:45Speaker 4: I mean, you can look at it that way.
- 0:47Speaker 1: It's just I would only retire if it's a streak.
- 0:49Speaker 1: If it's a two lost streak, I would then retire.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Oh two loss, Yeah, I don't know that I would
- 0:53Speaker 1: retire something I felt passionate about because of one loss.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It's actually if it made him play better. Because we're
- 0:59Speaker 1: talking logically here, the glove might.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I don't play better. I mean they did play all right,
- 1:02Speaker 4: so finish. What do you mean he's trying well?
- 1:08Speaker 1: No, I have things that I have stopped, but I
- 1:12Speaker 1: would never just stop working after one loss.
- 1:14Speaker 3: And it's a package because it's the it's the football
- 1:17Speaker 3: that Matt Overton gave me when we went to the
- 1:18Speaker 3: Cowboys game last year, and the gloves. It's a whole
- 1:21Speaker 3: package deal. So if I lose the gloves, I want
- 1:23Speaker 3: to lose the football, and I don't really want to
- 1:24Speaker 3: lose the football.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I think if you ever hit a two game skid,
- 1:28Speaker 1: that's when you retire it.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Okay, I like that.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I like that, but I just won because that one
- 1:31Speaker 1: it could have actually just helped you knows good.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Question though, So this week I don't even say anything,
- 1:37Speaker 3: but do I take the glove?
- 1:39Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:40Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys are going to the Cowboys game?
- 1:42Speaker 4: Let's go.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Am I supposed to get you guys tickets? What are
- 1:46Speaker 1: you talking about? You said you got his tickets. You
- 1:51Speaker 1: even said consider it a gift.
- 1:53Speaker 2: No, the gift was me paying for your hotels for.
- 1:55Speaker 4: The extra Oh my goodness, Kevin, please say something.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I think I do.
- 2:00Speaker 6: Bring out the scalp.
- 2:00Speaker 5: No, no, no, no, no.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Hold on, I think what I did.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I've fallen asleep on this podcast while talking since then?
- 2:07Speaker 6: Sure, It was the same day, wasn't it.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so I have messaged him and he said, yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I got you four tickets. So okay, you guys are good.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I just I'll just give Mike you note, you know, yeah,
- 2:17Speaker 1: just say hey, Bobby, he said, to reach out.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Uh, just put him in your name.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I don't think he and I don't think he knows
- 2:20Speaker 1: I'm not coming, so I wouldn't even tell hold.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Hold on, hold on when when you say Mike, let
- 2:24Speaker 3: him know, you mean like there, like show up to
- 2:27Speaker 3: the gate.
- 2:27Speaker 2: No, juste, Mike knows his number is contact.
- 2:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I hit him up.
- 2:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm glad we brought this up now, so I
- 2:34Speaker 6: would have remembered. I would remember show up in the
- 2:36Speaker 6: stadium on Sunday.
- 2:37Speaker 4: We're in Dallas.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I just came from a school where there were kindergarteners
- 2:42Speaker 1: maybe their four year olds' not even in kindergarten, so
- 2:44Speaker 1: pre k don't know what it is. But they have
- 2:46Speaker 1: a special guest day where they once a year, each
- 2:49Speaker 1: student brings in.
- 2:50Speaker 2: A special guest.
- 2:51Speaker 1: And so I was asked to come be the special
- 2:52Speaker 1: guest by the not really the four year old, kind
- 2:55Speaker 1: of the mom and the dad of the sure, and
- 2:57Speaker 1: so I go, oh, and it's Jake Owen's daughter who's four,
- 3:04Speaker 1: and I go and I read the Stanley Book and
- 3:07Speaker 1: the kids are into it and we finished. They're actually
- 3:10Speaker 1: really well behaved, which I was surprised by because they
- 3:12Speaker 1: were like.
- 3:12Speaker 4: A lot of them, yeah, good teachers.
- 3:15Speaker 1: And I didn't know how to react at the end though,
- 3:17Speaker 1: because two boys, probably four, came up to me and
- 3:21Speaker 1: they were like, they said, hey, your new name to
- 3:23Speaker 1: us is butt Face. And I was like what and
- 3:27Speaker 1: they were like, yeah, we're Your new name's butt face.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Oh boy, And I went that's so. I'm just you know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: it reminds me of being young and them doing that
- 3:35Speaker 1: to me, but in real time, same age. And I
- 3:38Speaker 1: was like, yeah, but that's my real middle name anyway,
- 3:40Speaker 1: so it doesn't make sense. They got so confused.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Oh you got them, dude.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I was like, I went back in a time machine
- 3:46Speaker 1: and taught those four year olds a freaking lesson.
- 3:48Speaker 4: They're like, wait a minute, our middle name is butt face.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Mind is And they were so confused by that. So
- 3:55Speaker 1: I just like to shot me out job really turning
- 3:58Speaker 1: it on its head.
- 4:00Speaker 6: A lot of practice, a lot of practice.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Coming up in a bit.
- 4:02Speaker 1: We have SEC Network college basketball analyst Pat Bradley, who
- 4:06Speaker 1: is I mean, he was like all SEC. He made
- 4:10Speaker 1: like almost five hundred three pointers in his career. I
- 4:12Speaker 1: mean he was lights out and now he's an analyst
- 4:15Speaker 1: RESS Network.
- 4:15Speaker 4: You're a big fan, yeah, yeah.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And then we have Cincinnati head coach Scott Saderfield and
- 4:20Speaker 1: defensive lineman Jawan Briggs coming up. So we got a
- 4:23Speaker 1: real good show. And now let's get to the tittle Tattle.
- 4:27Speaker 7: Stupid his name ever?
- 4:29Speaker 2: The tittle Tattle?
- 4:35Speaker 6: What's top ten matchup? Are you most excited for this weekend?
- 4:38Speaker 6: Michigan at Penn State or Ole Miss at Georgia.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You gotta know, I'm a huge SEC guy, but I
- 4:43Speaker 1: can't get enough Michigan.
- 4:45Speaker 4: You love that story.
- 4:46Speaker 6: It's the only thing taking over the greatest story. I
- 4:49Speaker 6: can't get enough. I love it, you know.
- 4:51Speaker 1: And they've cleared Ryan Day in Ohio State. They were
- 4:55Speaker 1: never in it for wrongdoing, but everybody's like, I bet
- 4:58Speaker 1: they're involved. The n C DOAA has come out and
- 4:59Speaker 1: said Ohio State has nothing to do with this. Love
- 5:01Speaker 1: it Ohio State. The family members that have nothing to
- 5:04Speaker 1: do with this investigation. The n C double A is
- 5:06Speaker 1: also no, the Big Ten has told Michigan, we might
- 5:09Speaker 1: punish you, and Michigan's like do process baby, so.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Like in comparison to like the American government. If the
- 5:18Speaker 3: NC double A is the national government or the what
- 5:21Speaker 3: is it called federal federal government, then the conference the
- 5:25Speaker 3: Big Ten is like the state government.
- 5:27Speaker 4: Got it?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Okay ye taking Pika out of such whatever that crap
- 5:32Speaker 1: is Michigan and Penn State. I just it's just so fun.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I love a soap opera when I'm not the one.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I love watching people on an airplane go crazy as
- 5:42Speaker 1: long as the plane doesn't crash, right. I love watching
- 5:45Speaker 1: this when it's not my team and it's nobody got hurt,
- 5:49Speaker 1: like like nobody was like it's almost speaking of Pen State.
- 5:52Speaker 1: It wasn't like that kind of scandal with Sandusky where
- 5:54Speaker 1: people really got hurt and their lives were just destroyed.
- 5:58Speaker 1: This is stealing signs, some guy going all spy spy
- 6:02Speaker 1: kids on them with glasses.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Awesome. So I'm excited for that game because I just
- 6:08Speaker 2: need more Michigan like to really watch.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I think Georgia's is gonna whoop all miss but man
- 6:14Speaker 1: Michigan and Penn State's gonna be awesome.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I like Jams Franklin at Penn State. I hope they win.
- 6:17Speaker 1: But then if Michigan keeps winning, I'm happy too, because
- 6:20Speaker 1: let them go undefeated.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:23Speaker 2: God, that's the greatest storyline ever.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Are Michigan fans embarrassed by this or they kind of
- 6:27Speaker 4: just like, well.
- 6:28Speaker 1: They're fighting it more than anything, as I would be
- 6:30Speaker 1: if it were Arkansas'll be like, yes, it's shut up,
- 6:32Speaker 1: it's sign stealing. Everybody does it, even though I really
- 6:34Speaker 1: know that what we did is we use technology and
- 6:36Speaker 1: said people and did and broke the rules. So if
- 6:39Speaker 1: I were a Michigan fan, I would just that would
- 6:41Speaker 1: be my nearest.
- 6:41Speaker 6: And as long as you keep winning, I feel like
- 6:43Speaker 6: you can just keep riding that right.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but the story's gonna get bigger if they keep winning.
- 6:49Speaker 1: If they were to lose a couple, the story wouldn't
- 6:52Speaker 1: be as big, but you'd also have lost a couple.
- 6:54Speaker 2: And you're not in play for national championship.
- 6:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I saw Geon saying, like, you know,
- 7:02Speaker 3: it's yeah, he's steal the signs. That's a great advantage
- 7:05Speaker 3: in all but like you still have to execute.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Yeah, but the deal is these coaches aren't going to
- 7:09Speaker 1: say anything about other coaches for the most part, because
- 7:11Speaker 1: if they're not signs, they're probably do another crap. That's
- 7:13Speaker 1: so you just don't say, yeah, you don't really you know,
- 7:15Speaker 1: throw rocks.
- 7:18Speaker 2: That's true, and you don't.
- 7:19Speaker 1: You still signs during a game, and that's all fine
- 7:21Speaker 1: and legal. Great if you can figure it out, awesome,
- 7:24Speaker 1: But it's again sending people out doing exactly what the
- 7:27Speaker 1: n C DOUBLEA says you can't do, which is having
- 7:29Speaker 1: people go in scout pregame at other games. Yeah, because
- 7:32Speaker 1: everybody doesn't have the access to the same kind of staff.
- 7:35Speaker 1: And also the dudes dressed up in Western Michigan gear
- 7:39Speaker 1: on their sideline with the glasses that record it's the greatest.
- 7:42Speaker 1: It just keeps getting It's like a sketch show. So
- 7:46Speaker 1: Michigan Penn State for sure.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Right.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Do you think Missouri is being disrespected as a one
- 7:50Speaker 6: point dog at home versus Tennessee.
- 7:53Speaker 7: Nope.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I was surprised it was even that close, and and
- 7:56Speaker 1: Missouri played Georgia pretty good, and Missouri's good good. I
- 8:00Speaker 1: think Tennessee's better and I think Missouri probably shot it
- 8:03Speaker 1: shot blew its load. Whatever you want to say wow
- 8:07Speaker 1: on playing because they played Georgia.
- 8:09Speaker 2: They've played Georgia hard.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Wow, another one, and so.
- 8:14Speaker 2: They played it. They played them.
- 8:16Speaker 4: I got I got, I got you, I got you.
- 8:18Speaker 2: That'd be wild.
- 8:18Speaker 1: They if they played them hard and everybody noticed the
- 8:22Speaker 1: whole team they had, like viacular in the water, someone
- 8:27Speaker 1: spiked the water with VIC.
- 8:28Speaker 4: That'd be quite the sight.
- 8:29Speaker 6: I just have this picture right, every single every player
- 8:32Speaker 6: has a boner.
- 8:34Speaker 2: That would be wild and someone would go, you couldn't
- 8:39Speaker 2: think this up, but I did.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Wow.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Uh No, I think Missouri probably gets beat by a touchdown,
- 8:46Speaker 1: but good for them. I like to see programs that
- 8:50Speaker 1: are kind of known for not being great start to
- 8:52Speaker 1: be pretty good. It takes a lot of consistency to
- 8:54Speaker 1: be considered good. But I like, oh, drink, what's what
- 8:57Speaker 1: he's doing up there in Missouri? He's a Arkansas guy too, Eli,
- 9:01Speaker 1: All right, what.
- 9:01Speaker 6: Else NFL here? Do you think the twenty twenty three
- 9:03Speaker 6: Steelers are just the Vikings from twenty twenty two?
- 9:06Speaker 1: You know, that is a pretty good comparison because they
- 9:11Speaker 1: have fewer yards than their opponents, and they've been outscored
- 9:16Speaker 1: by their opponents overall, Yet they have a winning record.
- 9:19Speaker 1: It's kind of what the Vikings had happened to them
- 9:21Speaker 1: last year. But I don't think the Steelers are as
- 9:23Speaker 1: good as the Vikings were. I don't think that can
- 9:27Speaker 1: he Pickett is as good of a quarterback. So I
- 9:34Speaker 1: understand the similarities. But I'm gonna go I don't care.
- 9:38Speaker 2: How about that.
- 9:40Speaker 4: I even thought about that.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I'm going to go, I don't care. I don't think
- 9:44Speaker 1: the Steelers. I thought that the Vikings might. Actually I
- 9:47Speaker 1: thought they could win a game or two in the
- 9:48Speaker 1: playoffs last year. I don't feel like the Steelers can.
- 9:50Speaker 6: You're almost just waiting for them to just to drop right, yes,
- 9:52Speaker 6: because at least the Vikings were undefeated too, and.
- 9:54Speaker 1: The Vikings were doing it in like miraculous fashion. It
- 9:56Speaker 1: was fun to watch.
- 9:58Speaker 2: The Steelers are.
- 9:58Speaker 8: Like, it's ugly.
- 10:01Speaker 2: It's ugly. They play ugly football.
- 10:04Speaker 1: There's nothing really dynamic about it unless Pickens gets the ball.
- 10:07Speaker 1: And then when he doesn't get the ball, his dynamic
- 10:08Speaker 1: was crying he's not getting the ball. That's the only
- 10:10Speaker 1: thing about them that's fun.
- 10:11Speaker 8: All right?
- 10:11Speaker 6: What else did the NFL make a mistake by not
- 10:13Speaker 6: flexing the Jets at Raiders game on Sunday night.
- 10:16Speaker 2: What a terrible game.
- 10:18Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 10:19Speaker 1: They can flex what twice between weeks five and ten?
- 10:25Speaker 2: Right, so what it is?
- 10:26Speaker 4: How quickly can they make that change?
- 10:28Speaker 2: They could have made the change of a week.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Yeah, they a flex no game so far this season.
- 10:34Speaker 1: They also can flex the late or part of the
- 10:37Speaker 1: season whenever they want. They can do two of them
- 10:40Speaker 1: now up until ten, and then later in the season
- 10:41Speaker 1: they con flex every week if they want, right, left
- 10:43Speaker 1: through eighteen, whatever it is. So this is a terrible game.
- 10:48Speaker 4: I think they gambled on that one though, a little bit.
- 10:49Speaker 2: But they can change it now. They could have changed
- 10:51Speaker 2: it two days.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Ago, sure, I know.
- 10:52Speaker 2: But there's still the gamble of five days ago.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Yeah, there's still the thought of, like, hey, the Jets
- 10:57Speaker 3: them they're kind of on a winning streak.
- 10:58Speaker 4: I mean they could as last week. Yeah, but I
- 11:01Speaker 4: mean not terribly bad.
- 11:02Speaker 6: I mean they win ugly, ugly because you don't have
- 11:04Speaker 6: a quarterback right and the Raiders are you?
- 11:06Speaker 1: I wouldn't fight this fight's there's two terrible teams to watch.
- 11:10Speaker 4: I mean no. And it was a terrible game. So
- 11:12Speaker 4: the outcome was in.
- 11:13Speaker 1: The game that they won week before that was a
- 11:14Speaker 1: terrible game too, and their defense is good, but how
- 11:18Speaker 1: fun is defense to watch? It ain't And then the Raiders.
- 11:22Speaker 1: So here are the two storylines. But the storyline doesn't
- 11:24Speaker 1: equal a good game. The storyline is Aaron Rodgers, I'm
- 11:27Speaker 1: back in six weeks kind of. You know, he's saying
- 11:29Speaker 1: that he's throwing the ball fifty yards. He's telling the
- 11:31Speaker 1: guy and I think he went on Pat McAfee show.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I was like, I could possibly be back in six weeks,
- 11:37Speaker 1: which is wild.
- 11:38Speaker 2: And that's a fun storyline. I love that.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, Antonio Pierce coaching the Raiders, that's cool. You know
- 11:44Speaker 1: last week he let all the practice squad players be
- 11:46Speaker 1: on the sideline fully dressed. He's like, they're part of
- 11:48Speaker 1: the team too. They're doing all the work. You know,
- 11:49Speaker 1: he comes in and there was all the drama with
- 11:53Speaker 1: you know, him getting the job and the firing there
- 11:57Speaker 1: and the Patriots and you know all that happened. But
- 12:00Speaker 1: those are just storylines that don't mean the game is
- 12:02Speaker 1: going to be fun, because it's going to be an ugly,
- 12:05Speaker 1: ugly game. Yes, And I just want to go back
- 12:09Speaker 1: before this is over and readdress something I've said many
- 12:12Speaker 1: times that I am judged on this exact podcast for saying,
- 12:15Speaker 1: sometimes don't let people hit the quarterback card because.
- 12:19Speaker 2: You know what happens.
- 12:20Speaker 1: You get games like this, You get games they didn't
- 12:24Speaker 1: hit him that hard doesn't matter. I'm talking generally, you
- 12:26Speaker 1: get games where your starting quarterbacks are out.
- 12:28Speaker 3: How about the rule is don't play when you're over forty? Like,
- 12:32Speaker 3: how about like, hey man, maybe you should how old
- 12:34Speaker 3: is MVP two years ago?
- 12:36Speaker 1: Gay?
- 12:36Speaker 4: But I get it. But I mean, like, when you
- 12:38Speaker 4: do get tapped, you could get hurt of you.
- 12:40Speaker 2: But I'm talking about in general.
- 12:42Speaker 6: Even Garoppolo, he's thirty nine as.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Turns forty ancient in football. But you can't put that
- 12:56Speaker 1: rule in And it's not even the rule. It's not
- 12:57Speaker 1: even breaking your mind.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Just try and throw some see what stuck.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Think Think of the teams that don't have quarterbacks that
- 13:03Speaker 1: are playing backup quarterbacks, the Falcons, there's a lot, all the.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Falt Cups, backups, Vikings.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Vikings, the Giants now the Rams now Brown Cardinals.
- 13:14Speaker 2: It sucks to watch a backup quarterback.
- 13:17Speaker 6: Yeah, there's not that many. The games are kind of.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yes because there's so many backups. So when I'm like,
- 13:22Speaker 1: don't get the quarterback.
- 13:23Speaker 2: You're like those football.
- 13:24Speaker 3: It is no, it is, but you're it's entertainment too,
- 13:28Speaker 3: and that's what we're messing with it.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Yes, protect the quarterbacks so the games are better. That's all.
- 13:33Speaker 1: That's tittletete, I thank you.
- 13:37Speaker 5: The tittle Tattle.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Twenty five whistles presented by Draft Kings sports Book, an
- 13:44Speaker 1: official sports betting partner of the NFL. Download the DraftKings
- 13:48Speaker 1: app used to code of Bobby Sports to get in
- 13:50Speaker 1: on the action. All right, I'm building this parley of myself.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Why I'm just doing it by myself. Wait, but but
- 13:55Speaker 1: we're the ones that got it right.
- 13:57Speaker 2: You guys haven't nailed a college win in forever.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it was my It was my idea to go NFL,
- 14:02Speaker 3: which is kind of your weakness a little bit.
- 14:04Speaker 4: So I shouldn't have done that.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I'm just gonna win and gets back on track and
- 14:07Speaker 1: then we can start doing again next week.
- 14:08Speaker 5: I like.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I like that, I got confidence. I'm just gonna put
- 14:11Speaker 1: it back on track. And I didn't pick games that
- 14:12Speaker 1: were super easy. So they're all three money line games,
- 14:15Speaker 1: but two of them are super close. I've got Oklahoma
- 14:18Speaker 1: State minus they're minus too, so but it's a money
- 14:21Speaker 1: line bet. Oklahoma State money line over UCF. It's hard
- 14:26Speaker 1: for me to go against you, c.
- 14:27Speaker 4: That's tough, man. That's one of our one of our schools.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I just got a bet with my head, not your
- 14:32Speaker 1: my heart got it. Tennessee over Missouri. Tennessee's a one
- 14:37Speaker 1: point favorite, but I'm going Tennessee money line over Missouri.
- 14:43Speaker 1: And then have the Washington money line over Utah. A
- 14:45Speaker 1: little bigger spread there, but Oklahoma State, Tennessee and Washington.
- 14:49Speaker 1: But three money lines this right here. I've never been
- 14:53Speaker 1: more sure of all my sures.
- 14:57Speaker 8: That's sure.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Pretty sure there. I'm very sure there, kind of sure
- 15:00Speaker 1: they're This is the most sure.
- 15:01Speaker 9: I've ever been.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Okay, I like it.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Let's go put the saddle on the horse. Ride it in.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Let's Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Washington. If you want to take

- 15:21Speaker 1: Gambling problem called one hundred gambler in New York called
- 15:23Speaker 1: eight seven seven eight Hope and wire text Hope and
- 15:26Speaker 1: y four six seven three sixty nine. All Right, it's
- 15:32Speaker 1: time for the weekend preview Michigan at Penn State.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I want Michigan to win because of the drama.
- 15:40Speaker 6: Yeah, because if.
- 15:41Speaker 2: They lose, it's not as fun.
- 15:42Speaker 1: If they're not in the mix for a national championship,
- 15:45Speaker 1: the story is not as fun. And the longer the
- 15:48Speaker 1: story goes, the more I'm like, that dude's awesome. He
- 15:52Speaker 1: is like loyal, He is loyal. That canary ain't gonna
- 15:57Speaker 1: sing like you have to respect it. Like they were cheating, sure,
- 16:01Speaker 1: and people are like, I've seen a couple different guys go,
- 16:05Speaker 1: it's always been a thing. Everyone should just relax. I agree,
- 16:09Speaker 1: but you got caught. You just can't get caught. If
- 16:14Speaker 1: they don't have proof, you'd feel like we're not cheating.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Just don't get caught.
- 16:16Speaker 3: It's always been a thing, like teams have always sent
- 16:20Speaker 3: a dude to where I.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Don't know about how, but everyone's else, Like people have
- 16:25Speaker 1: always stole signed to sure history of time. But yeah,
- 16:28Speaker 1: probably from watching game tape or be on the sidelines
- 16:32Speaker 1: or but not sending a guy that was in the military,
- 16:36Speaker 1: spy that had a six hundred page manifesto. Michigan at
- 16:40Speaker 1: Penn State. I got Michigan winning, Eddie.
- 16:43Speaker 3: I mean, here's the thing. Penn State doesn't care about
- 16:45Speaker 3: the drama. Penn State doesn't want Michigan to win. Penn
- 16:48Speaker 3: State's gonna play, and Penn State is good, dude, Penn
- 16:50Speaker 3: State's are good, and I think it's gonna be a
- 16:52Speaker 3: real close game that I think Penn State could win,
- 16:56Speaker 3: is going to win, is going to win. But be fair,
- 17:00Speaker 3: I don't think I've seen one Michigan game this year.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Well, they haven't played anybody. They had the one hundred
- 17:03Speaker 1: and eleventh easiest schedule. Yeah, no, hardest schedule. But now
- 17:07Speaker 1: from the rest of the year out they had the
- 17:09Speaker 1: number one hardest schedule.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Well that would probably be why I don't watch a
- 17:11Speaker 4: lot of their games.
- 17:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm still taking Michigan.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Yeah, Michigan, Michigan, Penn State. Okay, Alabama at Kentucky. I'm
- 17:18Speaker 1: taking Alabama to win the whole championship, all of it.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I'm saying it all year. Never don't count him out.
- 17:25Speaker 1: He like Eddie says they could win, because then when
- 17:27Speaker 1: they don't, you'd be like, well, I never said they would.
- 17:30Speaker 4: You got me.
- 17:30Speaker 1: It's dude, Mill wrote, he's playing out of his mind,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and that was what the weak link was. At least
- 17:36Speaker 1: it felt that way the first I mean, when he
- 17:38Speaker 1: got bnched, when so Alabama will be Kentucky, Alabama will
- 17:45Speaker 1: beat Georgia in this championship.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Alabama will win the national Championship against Michigan. Oh man,
- 17:51Speaker 2: that'd be awesome.
- 17:53Speaker 6: You think he'd be in there somewhere like sneaking in.
- 17:57Speaker 7: No, he's all.
- 17:58Speaker 4: He's done sneaking in.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I'm just saying, like a mustache glasses.
- 18:03Speaker 2: He's in the National champion He has to go to
- 18:05Speaker 2: the game.
- 18:05Speaker 6: Yeah, he's ex marine.
- 18:06Speaker 4: He can.
- 18:06Speaker 6: He can sneak it up.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Alabama.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Anybody of Kentucky running No, No, Miama at Florida State.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Florida State's number four ranked team in the country. They're
- 18:17Speaker 1: a fourteen point favorite. Boy in Miami, we really thought
- 18:21Speaker 1: there were gonna be something for a minute this year,
- 18:22Speaker 1: didn't we like that little hope, A little flivver, that
- 18:25Speaker 1: little hope. They don't anymore. Florida State wins that one.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Utah at Washington. Oh you called this one earlier.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but Washington.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I mean, I just think Washington runs and runs hard.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I don't even think it's a hiccup game. I think
- 18:40Speaker 1: it's probably there's they'll be too focused that they'll just
- 18:42Speaker 1: beat the crap.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Out of them. Really, yeah, I think so.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I think Washington probably runs Tennessee and Missouri.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Oh what a good game.
- 18:50Speaker 1: So and it's supposed to be it's only it's Tennessee
- 18:53Speaker 1: minus one. It's basically pick them, So Tennessee minus one,
- 18:59Speaker 1: I'm going Tennessee.
- 19:00Speaker 4: I think Tennessee really sticks.
- 19:02Speaker 2: It at him.
- 19:02Speaker 3: It's funny whenever you see a line like that that's
- 19:04Speaker 3: so close and you think like, well, no, Tennessee is
- 19:07Speaker 3: a way better team than Missouri. You guys second guess it.
- 19:10Speaker 3: You gotta be like, there's a reason why that line
- 19:12Speaker 3: is that close. Tennessee wins it though.
- 19:14Speaker 6: Yeah, I'll go to Tennessee.
- 19:15Speaker 4: You have to because you're a fake fan.
- 19:16Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, any good wa I got the hat on
- 19:18Speaker 6: today exactly Like.
- 19:19Speaker 1: You're a fan, but it's a you're a new fan
- 19:22Speaker 1: and you're not like a die hard, lifelong fan, so
- 19:24Speaker 1: it's a positive fake fan.
- 19:26Speaker 6: I've never been that guy, by the way, and I'm
- 19:27Speaker 6: very like self conscious about it.
- 19:29Speaker 4: But you're being that guy.
- 19:29Speaker 2: No, it's not.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I would say, it's only because it's a local team,
- 19:32Speaker 1: and he's going because it's in proximity, and it's okay
- 19:35Speaker 1: to be a proximity fan.
- 19:37Speaker 4: What did you wear when you went to the Bama
- 19:38Speaker 4: Gang Tennessee stuff? Interesting?
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yeah, proximity fans are okay, okay, as long as you
- 19:43Speaker 1: don't claim you've always been a lifelong fan. If someone
- 19:46Speaker 1: would say, who's your NFL team, I would go, I
- 19:47Speaker 1: don't really have one, but I guess I had to
- 19:49Speaker 1: pick it be the Titans because I live here and
- 19:51Speaker 1: I know people associated with it, So I guess I'm
- 19:53Speaker 1: just a Titans fan.
- 19:55Speaker 2: But that's only because I live here proximity.
- 19:58Speaker 6: So Eddie gives me crap for being a Boston fan
- 19:59Speaker 6: for California, and then I finally pick a local team
- 20:02Speaker 6: and he still gives me crap for it.
- 20:03Speaker 1: I don't care where your fandom is me being a
- 20:06Speaker 1: diehard Chicago Cubs fan my whole life. I'd watch one
- 20:09Speaker 1: hundred and ten games of one hundred and sixty two,
- 20:12Speaker 1: but I had access to.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Them me and they were on WG. WE all did.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Dad was a huge fan, my grandpa, his dad was
- 20:19Speaker 1: a huge fan, so it was kind of passed to me.
- 20:22Speaker 1: But that's my lifelong fandom. It's not fake. It's probably
- 20:27Speaker 1: harder to have that when you don't live close. It's
- 20:29Speaker 1: easier to have the proximity fandom. But you can have both,
- 20:34Speaker 1: but the proximity doesn't. It's not up there with true
- 20:37Speaker 1: you're a diehard Boston everything.
- 20:39Speaker 6: Yeah, which is weird that since day one? But did
- 20:41Speaker 6: you ever live in Boston?
- 20:42Speaker 8: No?
- 20:42Speaker 6: And why dad from Rhode Island. Okay, so your dad
- 20:45Speaker 6: gave it to you? Yes, got it? Yes, perfect makes sense. Yes,
- 20:48Speaker 6: Eddie is a loser for harassing you. Thank you.
- 20:51Speaker 4: What do you mean like this?
- 20:52Speaker 3: Like this week, he's going to wear a Cowboys shirt
- 20:55Speaker 3: to the Calviny.
- 20:56Speaker 1: That's okay, He's going to a Cowboys game where we
- 20:58Speaker 1: are being hosted by the people that on the Cowboys.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Correct.
- 21:01Speaker 3: But I do have a vision of him changing teams
- 21:03Speaker 3: after the game. I believe he's gonna have so much
- 21:06Speaker 3: fun at this game, and he's gonna have a blast
- 21:08Speaker 3: that in a few weeks he's just gonna be watching
- 21:11Speaker 3: more Cowboys games, more Cowboys games, and then be a.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Livelong Cowboys fan.
- 21:15Speaker 1: He can be a Cowboys fan through proximity of his
- 21:17Speaker 1: friend who's a Cowboys fan.
- 21:18Speaker 4: That's right, like it.
- 21:19Speaker 2: No, you be like a secondhand smoke Cowboys fan.
- 21:25Speaker 6: It will never be a Cowboy at that point.
- 21:27Speaker 4: You're just a fan of every time.
- 21:28Speaker 6: I'll reform the Sunday for sure.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:30Speaker 6: I root for them, Yeah I don't, but I'm not
- 21:32Speaker 6: a diehard fan. Yeah, I don't not like the Cowboys.
- 21:34Speaker 6: I don't hate the Cowboys. Tell Bobby what you're doing
- 21:37Speaker 6: on Sunday?
- 21:38Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 21:38Speaker 6: With the shirt? Yeah, So I asked Eddie for a sweatshirt.
- 21:40Speaker 6: I said, hey, can you have a sweathirt? Because he
- 21:42Speaker 6: gave me a shirt? And I was like, but you
- 21:43Speaker 6: have a sweatshirt. And he's like, why he gave you
- 21:45Speaker 6: a shirt? Because underneath the sweashirt, I'm gonna put on
- 21:47Speaker 6: a Patriot shirt just so my loyalty stays true.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Phil Gross, Yeah, exactly.
- 21:52Speaker 6: I still have my fandom on and then I can
- 21:54Speaker 6: put the Cowboys over there.
- 21:56Speaker 9: Don't you have a tattoo?
- 21:57Speaker 8: I do?
- 21:57Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 21:57Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess you.
- 21:58Speaker 4: Better cover that up.
- 21:59Speaker 1: You're not claiming to go out looking for a new
- 22:01Speaker 1: team that you're a die hard fan of. You're going
- 22:03Speaker 1: to support a team that's having you.
- 22:05Speaker 2: That's nice.
- 22:05Speaker 1: We wear freaking b Yu jerseys when we go to
- 22:08Speaker 1: b Yu. I'm not a b Yu fan. I like
- 22:10Speaker 1: them now more, I root for them, but I'm a
- 22:12Speaker 1: Razorbike fan.
- 22:13Speaker 3: I didn't realize, but the other day I was wearing
- 22:15Speaker 3: a BYU hat, a South Carolina South Carolina shorts and
- 22:18Speaker 3: a Vandy shirt and like somebody called me out.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Like, oh bad, you're a mutt, my bad. Ole Miss
- 22:24Speaker 2: at Georgia.
- 22:28Speaker 1: I would I would bet Ole Miss covers, but I
- 22:31Speaker 1: don't think they're gonna win.
- 22:32Speaker 2: And this isn't the cover segment. What's the what's the line?
- 22:35Speaker 1: Ten and a half? Oh yeah, I like that they're
- 22:37Speaker 1: at Georgia, but I think Georgia wins. But Old Miss
- 22:41Speaker 1: covers Michigan State, Ohio State. That'll be a blood bath.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Michigan State sucks. I wonder if the Michigan State ends
- 22:46Speaker 1: up hiring because you know who they're talking about hiring.
- 22:49Speaker 6: Light bould right from is it Kansas?
- 22:52Speaker 4: Oh?
- 22:52Speaker 6: I was oh Urban, Yeah, I did see that.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Well, it's just been like the bigger room.
- 22:58Speaker 6: But they interviewed the Kansas head coach this week, which.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Will be a great higher. Yes, Texas at TCU. Let's
- 23:05Speaker 2: go TCU.
- 23:06Speaker 4: Yes, we need that.
- 23:07Speaker 2: I no, that'd be awesome, be really cool because we're
- 23:09Speaker 2: going to TCU. Yes, that's why.
- 23:13Speaker 6: Not for Mike sorry he come?
- 23:16Speaker 2: Yeah, true, Mike, did you go to Texas?
- 23:18Speaker 5: My wife did.
- 23:19Speaker 6: I aspired to go to Texas, but I couldn't afford it.
- 23:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:21Speaker 4: I wasn't accepted there.
- 23:22Speaker 1: So but it's okay. It's he lived in Texas. I
- 23:25Speaker 1: didn't go to Arkansas.
- 23:27Speaker 2: It was just a question.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Now but now, well, you're so judgment judgment with everybody
- 23:31Speaker 1: in this Yes, I don't know what's crawled into your butthole,
- 23:36Speaker 1: but it is not fun. You're not fun today because
- 23:38Speaker 1: you're giving everybody at heart. I was asking him my
- 23:40Speaker 1: first paid radio gig was running Longhorns games.
- 23:43Speaker 4: That's cool, that's cool.
- 23:44Speaker 1: USC at Oregon. I just wouldn't be surprised if USC.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I think us.
- 23:49Speaker 1: He covers it's minus fifteen Oregon minus fifteen. Quack quack,
- 23:53Speaker 1: I think us. Here's the thing about USC. They've either
- 23:56Speaker 1: given up or they have a new defensive coordinator kind
- 24:02Speaker 1: of uh interim, the old guy's gone. But also if
- 24:06Speaker 1: they really care, I think they can still beat anybody
- 24:09Speaker 1: it just do they care?
- 24:10Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 24:11Speaker 2: So I would take USC and fifteen points.
- 24:15Speaker 6: Does Caleb cry again or no?
- 24:17Speaker 4: I think he's done crying. I don't know he's done crying. Man.
- 24:20Speaker 1: There was one person who I saw the story. I
- 24:24Speaker 1: sent it to Mike last night. It reminded me of
- 24:26Speaker 1: Eddie because he bet a twenty leg parlay. Come on,
- 24:29Speaker 1: twenty games, So here we go his betting slip. You're
- 24:34Speaker 1: gonna read all twenty games? Well, yeah, it's men's college basketball,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and so here we go. He had Clemson minus fourteen,
- 24:40Speaker 1: he hit and he put sixty cents. It's beautiful on
- 24:45Speaker 1: a twenty game parlay to win two hundred and forty
- 24:49Speaker 1: eight thousand dollars.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Oh, come on, please tell me I hit it.
- 24:52Speaker 1: So we go Clemson minus fourteen. When I read after,
- 24:55Speaker 1: I just said one, then two, So we keep trying.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Clemson minus fourteen, hit one, South Carolina minus t seven
- 25:00Speaker 1: and a half two hit you con minus twenty four,
- 25:02Speaker 1: three hit Tennessee minus twenty six and a half four,
- 25:05Speaker 1: hit Perdue minus nineteen and a half five hit Hey.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Real quick pause, you're on five? Are you reading the
- 25:12Speaker 4: order of the bets? Okay?
- 25:14Speaker 1: Good, now my first rodeo doing broadcasting. No, no, no, I'm
- 25:17Speaker 1: just trying to say, like, hey, not my first rodeo. Hey,
- 25:20Speaker 1: we'll crawled up your butt man, exactly? Did I say Perdue?
- 25:26Speaker 5: No?
- 25:26Speaker 1: Perdue minus nineteen and a half six, Miami minus twenty
- 25:29Speaker 1: three seven, Hit minus twenty two and a half eight,
- 25:32Speaker 1: Virginia minus fifteen and a half nine, Villanova minus twenty one.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Ten, he's hit all of them so far.
- 25:37Speaker 8: He's in ten.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Outs, ten hits, ten down.
- 25:40Speaker 4: It was how many total?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Sixteen twenty twenty sixty cents?
- 25:44Speaker 4: Six? That's it?
- 25:45Speaker 1: Okay, Colorado minus fifteen, Okay, it's eleven hit, Kansas minus
- 25:49Speaker 1: twenty seven, twelve, Lsu minus twenty four and a half thirteen,
- 25:52Speaker 1: Texas A and M minus twenty one and a half
- 25:53Speaker 1: fourteen Texas minus thirty fifteen hits all of them.
- 25:58Speaker 4: He's at fifteen.
- 25:58Speaker 3: He's at fifteen deep right now. And I mean most
- 26:01Speaker 3: of these are our favorites. These are all minus bets. Yeah,
- 26:06Speaker 3: he's bet all favorites, favorites.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Okay, So we're gonna go Houston sixteen minus twenty seven hit,
- 26:14Speaker 1: Arkansas minus twenty four and a.
- 26:15Speaker 4: Half seventeen that puckered.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, because we were watching that both that which
- 26:19Speaker 1: I'm not going to count my basketball wins or losses
- 26:21Speaker 1: in our betting.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I mean we may do a basketball on later.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Oh because of different sport.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I did win a lot on the Arkansas I don't
- 26:31Speaker 1: want that to make up for the fact that my
- 26:33Speaker 1: football betting.
- 26:35Speaker 6: Has really Hey last week it was good.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm climbing back, but we're not going to count
- 26:39Speaker 1: college basketball and this.
- 26:41Speaker 2: We may go back and check it. But I had
- 26:44Speaker 2: hit the Arkansas game bag.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Oh that's nice.
- 26:47Speaker 8: It was nice.
- 26:47Speaker 2: But then I lost a bunch of.
- 26:51Speaker 5: Game, did it?
- 26:52Speaker 8: Oh?
- 26:52Speaker 2: The freaking Baylor which Baylor Auburn I forgot. I lost
- 26:57Speaker 2: it bunch the game man.
- 26:58Speaker 3: I hit sp I went heavy on the Spur plus
- 27:00Speaker 3: twenty live bet twenty.
- 27:01Speaker 2: And a half when women you all got shut down.
- 27:04Speaker 3: This was against the Knicks, and I'm like, oh, we
- 27:06Speaker 3: got this, baby. I put forty bucks on it.
- 27:08Speaker 4: We got this. They lost by twenty one. Keep going.
- 27:11Speaker 4: It sucks.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Alabama minus twenty two, that's eighteen. That's seventy seventeen. Hit
- 27:17Speaker 1: Arizona minus twenty eight eighteen hit Oh my gosh, oh.
- 27:22Speaker 2: San Diego State minus fourteen and a half.

- 27:28Speaker 4: hit nineteen yet. Hit Oh my good, cash out, dude.
- 27:34Speaker 4: I'm freaking out for this guy right now.
- 27:36Speaker 1: He put sixty cents yes, on a twenty leg parlay.
- 27:40Speaker 2: We're nineteen in. He's hit every one of them so far.
- 27:43Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh.
- 27:44Speaker 2: The payouts two hundred and forty eight thousand dollars.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Oh. The next game he had was North Carolina. They
- 27:49Speaker 1: won pretty handily. Spread was seventeen and a half. North
- 27:56Speaker 1: Carolina won by.
- 27:59Speaker 4: Six. Oh he lost, dude, that's crazy.
- 28:06Speaker 3: He didn't cash out. He didn't cash out. Reed and
- 28:09Speaker 3: I were just talking about this.
- 28:11Speaker 1: You don't even have to cash out. You can actually
- 28:15Speaker 1: well hedge yeah, sixty cents though, like, what are you hedging? No,
- 28:20Speaker 1: it's not the sixty cents. You're catching the money that
- 28:22Speaker 1: you might lose if you lose at all, which is
- 28:24Speaker 1: basically the sixty cent no, no, no, no, which is what
- 28:27Speaker 1: the payout would be. But you can even hedge the hedge.
- 28:30Speaker 4: Oh, I got you. I see what you're saying.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Yeah, so let's say the payout is one hundred and
- 28:34Speaker 1: forty two thousand. Now that's a lot of money. You
- 28:36Speaker 1: got to go get somehow and bet calling everywhere. But
- 28:39Speaker 1: you can bet twenty grand on the opposite and then
- 28:41Speaker 1: worst case, you only win twenty grand and then you
- 28:48Speaker 1: it said when you lose the one forty, but you
- 28:50Speaker 1: bet twenty grand on the opposite result that was up
- 28:53Speaker 1: against you.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Understand, Kevin, Nope, it don't matter.
- 28:55Speaker 1: It's insurance on like a it's like a light sprinkle insurance.
- 28:59Speaker 1: So it's like a half hedge on a hedge. But
- 29:01Speaker 1: you need a buttload of cash. So that that because
- 29:05Speaker 1: you only had sixty cents to start with.
- 29:07Speaker 6: You know, that was the last sixty cents into the county.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Like, why not is this in his account?
- 29:11Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 29:11Speaker 3: Yeah, well yeah, what I do is I always like
- 29:13Speaker 3: if I have change, like say I have like fourteen
- 29:16Speaker 3: dollars and seventy two cents, I'll do a seventy two
- 29:19Speaker 3: cents bet.
- 29:20Speaker 2: So it's even exactly.
- 29:21Speaker 1: NFL game, let's pick our winners here, Panthers at Bears.
- 29:25Speaker 4: Panthers win number two of the year.
- 29:27Speaker 1: This is loading up today, right, yeah, so this will
- 29:30Speaker 1: be tonight. I'm gonna go Bears Bears. Wow, guys, do
- 29:33Speaker 1: you guys want to do Whomever finishes the worst has
- 29:35Speaker 1: to pay ten dollars, not three of us, there's not
- 29:37Speaker 1: a one hoe, it's just the worst.
- 29:39Speaker 4: Dude, you're milking me of ten dollars bills?
- 29:41Speaker 2: Like, do have to do that too?
- 29:43Speaker 6: Does this contribute to the promises or no promises?
- 29:45Speaker 2: Promises?
- 29:46Speaker 5: Oh?
- 29:46Speaker 4: Boy?
- 29:47Speaker 6: So twenty dollars total?
- 29:49Speaker 1: You're saying this week if we lose, whoever finishes worst
- 29:52Speaker 1: in this of us four, okay, has to pay an
- 29:54Speaker 1: extra ten dollars.
- 29:55Speaker 6: Okay out of these pick thems? Yeah, okay, just NFL.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, don't be cute. Panthers are Bears, Bears, Bears, Panthers.

- 30:21Speaker 1: Patriots, I'll go Colts. Texans, Bengals, Bengals.
- 30:30Speaker 9: I'll go Bengals, Bengals.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Angles, Saints, Vikings, Vikings, I'm going Saints, Saints. I'm gonna
- 30:41Speaker 1: go Saints, Packers, Steelers, Packers, Jordan Love Steelers.
- 30:49Speaker 6: That defense is gonna give him a long day.

- 30:54Speaker 2: I'm getting cute Titans Bucks read.

- 31:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna go forty nine Ers, Niners, Browns, Ravens Eddie Ravens,

- 31:36Speaker 5: Now that man.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Falcons at Cardinals, Oh, Falcons reed, I'm gonna go Falcons.
- 31:43Speaker 6: Falcons, but I think Kyler might be Blaine.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Give me Falcons Cardinals.

- 32:17Speaker 2: I'll go second, Jets, thank you.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I'm trying to give everybody equal first, second, third, fourth,
- 32:23Speaker 1: not put anybody up early.
- 32:24Speaker 6: Raiders.
- 32:25Speaker 2: I go Jets.
- 32:26Speaker 4: That's a coin flip. I'll go Jets, Broncos.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Bills, bills, double bills, bails, all right, bills, all right done?
- 32:36Speaker 1: Uh yeah, we're done. Good luck keeping track of that.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Will you send that Tannehill is gonna be starting quarterback
- 32:41Speaker 1: now for now. When they said that to they, I
- 32:44Speaker 1: mean sorry, Tannehill's.
- 32:47Speaker 4: On the bench. Levis is starting quarterback.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Thank you, change my pick? Okay, good good job everybody,
- 32:52Speaker 1: good jobing you. Now let's get to our interview with
- 32:54Speaker 1: Cincinnati head coach Scott Saderfield. Coach Sadterfield was most recently
- 32:58Speaker 1: the head coach at Louisville before getting to Cincinnati.
- 33:01Speaker 2: And now they're in the Big twelve and it's like,
- 33:02Speaker 2: welcome to your new school and it's time to go.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Up a classification. And so I think they're filming it
- 33:07Speaker 1: a little bit right now. But he's such a good
- 33:09Speaker 1: coach and his one everywhere he's been. I do expect
- 33:12Speaker 1: them to bounce back. But yeah, it's like, hey, okay,
- 33:14Speaker 1: you get to coach.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Oh you're the big twelves.
- 33:16Speaker 1: It's tough, yeah, but you can follow coach Outfield was
- 33:19Speaker 1: so cool, so nice, like normal, awesome, but like a brain,
- 33:23Speaker 1: like a scientist. You can follow coach on Twitter at
- 33:29Speaker 1: coach Satt you see as in sat University Cincinnati, coach Satt,
- 33:34Speaker 1: you see here's our sit down with coach Sadderfield.
- 33:37Speaker 8: Coach.
- 33:37Speaker 1: This is a very interesting setup. Your office and the
- 33:40Speaker 1: stadium is right in the middle of campus. I've never
- 33:43Speaker 1: seen a stadium nestled into the campus like this before.
- 33:45Speaker 5: Yeah, it's incredible.
- 33:47Speaker 10: You know, first time I saw it as well, when
- 33:49Speaker 10: I got hired in December, I was like, man, this
- 33:50Speaker 10: is very very cool. I couldn't wait to see a
- 33:53Speaker 10: game in here. And we unfortunately, we had our first game.
- 33:55Speaker 10: It was a sellout, and it's incredible.
- 33:57Speaker 8: What's the goal and what brought you to Cincinnati?
- 34:00Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I think, you know, opportunity.
- 34:02Speaker 10: I think, you know, when I think about the administration,
- 34:04Speaker 10: I think of our president here, you know, I think
- 34:07Speaker 10: about the things that they've done here at Cincinnati in
- 34:09Speaker 10: the past and how how good they've been.
- 34:12Speaker 5: And then what we're investing.
- 34:13Speaker 10: In our program, you know, one hundred and thirty four
- 34:15Speaker 10: million dollars new facility that we're getting. We're just getting
- 34:17Speaker 10: into the Big twelve now, so we're finally at the
- 34:19Speaker 10: Power five level, which is you know, this school has
- 34:21Speaker 10: been trying to do for years. So there's so many
- 34:24Speaker 10: things that I think is on the up and up,
- 34:25Speaker 10: and you know, I wanted to be a part of that.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Whenever recruits considering you guys, what is your reasoning as
- 34:31Speaker 1: to why they should come to Cincinnati over other regionally,
- 34:36Speaker 1: let's say, same size schools.
- 34:39Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, I think you know, it's it's a
- 34:41Speaker 10: unique you talked about. Our stadium located right here in
- 34:43Speaker 10: the middle of campus, is a very vibrant campus. They're
- 34:45Speaker 10: going to get the interaction with other students, which is awesome.
- 34:48Speaker 10: You're also gonna play football at a high level, and
- 34:51Speaker 10: then you're gonna play in front.
- 34:52Speaker 5: Of a packed stadium, you know.
- 34:54Speaker 10: I think it's fourteen consecutive sellouts now and a crazy
- 34:57Speaker 10: student body, you know.
- 34:59Speaker 5: So the experience they're to get here is going to
- 35:00Speaker 5: be awesome.
- 35:02Speaker 10: And on top of that, the education is really really good,
- 35:05Speaker 10: you know, with what they're gonna get out of here with
- 35:06Speaker 10: the one of the best co op programs throughout the country.
- 35:09Speaker 10: So there's so many positives that we can sell and
- 35:11Speaker 10: it is quite frank it's an easy sale once we
- 35:13Speaker 10: get them on campus.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Are you a coach that never stops thinking about football
- 35:16Speaker 1: all the time at all, or can you turn it
- 35:18Speaker 1: off a little bit at night with the family and
- 35:20Speaker 1: a little bit in the summer.
- 35:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I think probably more in the summer. You know.
- 35:25Speaker 5: Obviously during the season it's i'sa all football.
- 35:26Speaker 10: I can't sleep and like as you're thinking about things
- 35:28Speaker 10: we can do to to you know, make our program better.
- 35:30Speaker 10: But you know, during the summer, try to get away,
- 35:32Speaker 10: play some golf, you know, just hanging out with family.
- 35:35Speaker 5: I think you've got to have that downtime.
- 35:38Speaker 10: You know, this this job is too stressful in the
- 35:40Speaker 10: seven days a week, you know, I feel like it's
- 35:41Speaker 10: twenty four hours a day throughout the season. So you
- 35:44Speaker 10: do have to have some downtime in the summer, you.
- 35:46Speaker 5: Know, get away and get away from it all.
- 35:48Speaker 1: What do you feel like, schematically you brought that's different
- 35:50Speaker 1: to this program that that wasn't here the last few years.
- 35:54Speaker 10: Well, I mean, I think you know it's been again,
- 35:56Speaker 10: I've been very successful the last few years, you know,
- 35:58Speaker 10: really known for defense. You know, I think what you
- 36:01Speaker 10: know offensively is what I've been associated with my whole career,
- 36:04Speaker 10: been that side of the ball, you know, I think
- 36:07Speaker 10: you know we're we're sitting here, I think twelfth in
- 36:09Speaker 10: the country and offense right now, so we're able to,
- 36:11Speaker 10: you know, do some things with that.
- 36:12Speaker 5: And you know, open it up a little bit more offensively,
- 36:15Speaker 5: you know.
- 36:16Speaker 10: But I think overall, you know, we still want to
- 36:18Speaker 10: be a blue collar, physical team. That's that Cincinnati has
- 36:21Speaker 10: been known for for for many many years. And you know,
- 36:23Speaker 10: play with that chip on your shoulder, you know, developmental
- 36:27Speaker 10: play players. You know, you think about some of the
- 36:29Speaker 10: Kelsey brothers, you know, Sauce guarded guys that have come
- 36:31Speaker 10: through here that have made themselves into great players, and
- 36:33Speaker 10: that's what we're going to continue to be known for.
- 36:35Speaker 1: If you were the head officiating, what would you make
- 36:38Speaker 1: as the rule of somebody fakes a hamstring and then
- 36:41Speaker 1: their back up real quick?
- 36:42Speaker 8: What would you because that's due?
- 36:43Speaker 5: I hate it, yeah, but I don't know how do
- 36:45Speaker 5: you know they're faking.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Well because they're walking and then a signal comes in
- 36:51Speaker 1: goes they just fall?
- 36:53Speaker 5: Well, they do that and give them a fifteen yard penalty.
- 36:55Speaker 5: You know.
- 36:55Speaker 10: I think sometimes we had a game just a few
- 36:58Speaker 10: weeks ago where our fans are bowing the guy.
- 37:00Speaker 5: I think I'm from Oklahoma.
- 37:01Speaker 10: And he actually was on the stretcher and then it
- 37:04Speaker 10: was on crutches at the end of the game, so
- 37:05Speaker 10: he actually was hurt. You know, our fans were booing him,
- 37:09Speaker 10: So I think, you know, there's a fine line there,
- 37:11Speaker 10: you know.
- 37:12Speaker 5: But uh, but yeah, if they're doing what you're saying,
- 37:14Speaker 5: then yeah, we need to give them a penalty.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Shouldn't though they have to be out for more than
- 37:18Speaker 1: one play, hurt or not hurt. If you go down
- 37:20Speaker 1: and you're trying to stop the flow of the game,
- 37:22Speaker 1: you're an offensive guy. It annoys me when they're trying
- 37:25Speaker 1: to find ways to stop an offense from moving by
- 37:28Speaker 1: doing things that aren't defensively a strategy.
- 37:31Speaker 8: Yeah that's legal.
- 37:32Speaker 10: No, I know it's you know that that could possibly be.
- 37:35Speaker 10: But I mean, you know, order you draw the line,
- 37:36Speaker 10: is it two plays, three plays, four? You know, and
- 37:39Speaker 10: and and sometimes guys are legitimately hurt and they they
- 37:41Speaker 10: need to come out for a couple of snaps.
- 37:43Speaker 5: But uh, you know, it is aggravating.
- 37:45Speaker 8: A serious I say a serious A serious Yeah.
- 37:47Speaker 10: Maybe come out for a series and then months and
- 37:49Speaker 10: that the whole year. But you know what, if we
- 37:52Speaker 10: do that, then that'll turn from from getting hurt.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Then you have people playing hurt. They just won't come out.
- 37:56Speaker 1: They're just dragging their leg behind them.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Yeah, coach, back to recruiting, if you thought about using
- 38:01Speaker 3: Travis Kelcey and Taylor Swift kind of as.
- 38:03Speaker 4: A hey, guys, he could do it. You could also
- 38:08Speaker 4: get a Taylor Swift.
- 38:10Speaker 10: We it's just just happened here in the last couple
- 38:12Speaker 10: of weeks, you know, so they've thought about we hadn't
- 38:14Speaker 10: got literature yet.
- 38:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, we're I know they're selling jerseys.
- 38:18Speaker 10: They're selling you know, the Kelsey jerseys and the whatever
- 38:21Speaker 10: they call Swifties, you know. Back but it's a lot
- 38:24Speaker 10: of great pub for Cincinnati and anything those guys do
- 38:27Speaker 10: because they love Cincinnati. And you know both of the
- 38:29Speaker 10: Kelsey brothers their podcast is killing it, you know, and
- 38:32Speaker 10: you know Sauce Garner as well. So there's a lot
- 38:34Speaker 10: of great players that have come through here. But right
- 38:36Speaker 10: now that that is the hottest topic going on in.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Football, you get on it, coach, I know, coach, as
- 38:42Speaker 1: far as when moms and dads or grandma's or whomever,
- 38:45Speaker 1: the guardians of the kid and you're with them and
- 38:47Speaker 1: you're meeting them and they want to go play in
- 38:49Speaker 1: the NFL. Like, what can you do for that kid?
- 38:51Speaker 1: And what can you tell those parents to make them
- 38:53Speaker 1: feel good about sending them to you?
- 38:54Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean I think you know, one thing you
- 38:56Speaker 10: got to look at is history of the program. I
- 38:58Speaker 10: know we just got here, but it's still history the program.
- 39:00Speaker 10: I think sixteen players were drafting the last three years
- 39:03Speaker 10: out of Cincinnati. So you're going to get an opportunity.
- 39:05Speaker 10: You know, we're gonna get scouts or hear every single practice,
- 39:07Speaker 10: They're gonna get looked at.
- 39:08Speaker 5: If you do things.
- 39:09Speaker 10: Right obviously on the field, but then also off the
- 39:12Speaker 10: field and taking care of your business, then.
- 39:14Speaker 5: You're gonna get an opportunity to go to the next level.
- 39:16Speaker 10: And I think that's what anybody wants. And if you
- 39:18Speaker 10: have a track record for that, then.
- 39:20Speaker 5: Then you're gonna get that opportunity.
- 39:21Speaker 10: And we've had a track record of that over the
- 39:23Speaker 10: years when I was at Louisville and app State as well.
- 39:26Speaker 10: Where guys are you know, going on to that next level?
- 39:29Speaker 10: But this this place here really sets those guys up.
- 39:31Speaker 10: I think because of the developmental program that we have,
- 39:34Speaker 10: they're going to continue to get better and better and better.
- 39:37Speaker 5: Play with the chip on your shoulder.
- 39:38Speaker 10: And I think these NFL scouts, I mean, that's what
- 39:40Speaker 10: they love about our kids.
- 39:41Speaker 1: When you recruit wide receivers, are you looking for still
- 39:45Speaker 1: the traditional tall you know, can can be six three
- 39:49Speaker 1: six four, or will you give a shot no more
- 39:51Speaker 1: of these five six five seven guys as long as
- 39:53Speaker 1: they have a lot of speed.
- 39:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:55Speaker 10: I like fast guys, and I think, you know, as
- 39:58Speaker 10: long as they can make plays, I don't care or
- 40:00Speaker 10: what their size is, you know. I think as we
- 40:01Speaker 10: go recruiting, we're trying to find some guys that are
- 40:03Speaker 10: you know, your six three six foard that play on
- 40:05Speaker 10: the outside, as well as those little slot scat receivers
- 40:09Speaker 10: that can fly, you know, you know, Tyrek Hill type
- 40:12Speaker 10: flight player.
- 40:13Speaker 5: But if you can play, you can play. And that's
- 40:15Speaker 5: what I look for.
- 40:16Speaker 10: I mean, I don't try to, you know, go into
- 40:17Speaker 10: recruiting and say, you know, he's got to fit this
- 40:19Speaker 10: certain category.
- 40:21Speaker 5: I want football players, you know, you know, ballers.
- 40:24Speaker 10: You know this guy can play ball, so let's let's
- 40:26Speaker 10: let's find a spot for him. I think that's what
- 40:27Speaker 10: we try to do more than anything at every position
- 40:30Speaker 10: that quite honestly.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Coach say I live in outside Chillicothe, Ohio, and I've
- 40:34Speaker 3: got this kid. We don't have a football team in
- 40:36Speaker 3: our high school, but I got a son who's really good.
- 40:39Speaker 3: He's big, he's fast. You need him on the team.
- 40:42Speaker 3: What's the easiest way a parent could get a hold
- 40:44Speaker 3: of you and say, coach, you need to look at
- 40:46Speaker 3: my sends to play football though, Well, I mean he
- 40:49Speaker 3: just didn't play for the high school.
- 40:50Speaker 5: So he'll never be.
- 40:51Speaker 8: Noticed, I know, but he doesn't doesn't if he does
- 40:53Speaker 8: play the high.
- 40:53Speaker 3: School, maybe he's played high school in the backyard he's
- 40:55Speaker 3: just really good, or a football in the backyard he's
- 40:57Speaker 3: just really good.
- 40:58Speaker 10: Well, if then that's the case, he's gonna have to
- 40:59Speaker 10: come to camp, you know. So we'll have a camp
- 41:01Speaker 10: in the summertime. We have about seven camps, and so
- 41:03Speaker 10: we'll try to get these guys in and we get requests,
- 41:06Speaker 10: we get crazy requests, emails, you know, if it finds
- 41:09Speaker 10: its way to me and our staff. But what we
- 41:11Speaker 10: try to do is just get them here number one,
- 41:13Speaker 10: and we started finding their story out and say okay,
- 41:14Speaker 10: we need to come work out for as a camp
- 41:16Speaker 10: and then if those guys can play, we'll find a
- 41:19Speaker 10: spot to get them on the team.
- 41:20Speaker 8: I don't understand the question. What about tagging him on
- 41:22Speaker 8: like Instagram? No, he's never played football.
- 41:25Speaker 5: Though.
- 41:25Speaker 10: If he never played football, is he's gonna have a
- 41:26Speaker 10: hard time probably making it on our team.
- 41:28Speaker 3: You know, now now now, now.
- 41:31Speaker 10: Other sports, Like we've we've had guys that maybe played
- 41:33Speaker 10: basketball and never really played football, and then we try
- 41:36Speaker 10: to transition.
- 41:37Speaker 5: Them over, you know, athlete. You know we have worked
- 41:39Speaker 5: with you.
- 41:40Speaker 10: Uh, yeah, we've had We've had a receiver that was
- 41:42Speaker 10: in the band and was a basketball player and ended
- 41:44Speaker 10: up playing the NFL seven years as a wide.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Look at that NFL, but he was playing another sport.
- 41:49Speaker 1: You're like, if the kid's never seen a shape of
- 41:50Speaker 1: a football?
- 41:52Speaker 3: You know, not all high schools have football teams.
- 41:54Speaker 1: I thought the question could have been like a kid
- 41:56Speaker 1: at a double A school who doesn't get.
- 41:58Speaker 3: An attention, right that get that I should have said that, that's.
- 42:01Speaker 8: The dumbest question.
- 42:01Speaker 5: You everybody else, that's pretty dumb.
- 42:02Speaker 8: Yeah, you're right.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I think it's one of dumbest I've ever heard. Geez Coach,
- 42:07Speaker 1: Whenever you look back at Louisville and here, the color
- 42:10Speaker 1: schemes are very similar. You'd have to change a lot
- 42:11Speaker 1: of clothes.
- 42:12Speaker 5: Didn't have to change a whole lot.
- 42:14Speaker 10: Still, right, Yeah, we went from uh we were a
- 42:17Speaker 10: didas there Now we're Nike.
- 42:18Speaker 5: You know, I like the sloosh.
- 42:19Speaker 10: You know, Sloosh is a little bit better, So so yeah,
- 42:21Speaker 10: we had to change that as well. And you know,
- 42:23Speaker 10: as football coach is funny because we're.
- 42:24Speaker 5: You know, wherever you go coach at that's your closet,
- 42:27Speaker 5: you know.
- 42:27Speaker 10: So it took a while to start getting to accumulate
- 42:29Speaker 10: the gear from here. But yeah, the color schemes were great.
- 42:31Speaker 10: It's easy for my wife and kids.
- 42:33Speaker 5: You know.
- 42:33Speaker 1: All right, final five questions, I want to go to
- 42:36Speaker 1: app State? Which was I mean that was you twice?
- 42:39Speaker 1: I mean playing and also coaching And the biggest upset
- 42:42Speaker 1: I've ever seen in my entire life.
- 42:43Speaker 8: You were coaching and when you guys beat Michigan.
- 42:45Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, two thousand and seven September first, you know, incredible.
- 42:48Speaker 10: We had just come off of two national championships at
- 42:50Speaker 10: the Division one Double A level at that time FCS
- 42:53Speaker 10: now in five and six, and we had a young team.
- 42:56Speaker 10: But we go up up to Michigan and uh, you know,
- 42:59Speaker 10: they had just them off a Rose Bowl, you know,
- 43:01Speaker 10: great team and somehow went up there and made a
- 43:04Speaker 10: bunch of plays and won the game on a block
- 43:05Speaker 10: field goal.
- 43:06Speaker 5: Is incredible.
- 43:07Speaker 10: It really changed Applacha State forever at that point.
- 43:10Speaker 5: You know, their missions went through the roof, you know, when.
- 43:13Speaker 8: We're going to school there because of the wind.
- 43:15Speaker 10: Absolutely, yeah, we we went you know and thed GPA
- 43:18Speaker 10: to get into school.
- 43:19Speaker 5: Like it was so hard to get into school.
- 43:20Speaker 10: We had like sixteen thousand applicants for thirty two hundred
- 43:23Speaker 10: spots and so they're going to take the highest GPAs
- 43:25Speaker 10: and four point two's are coming in and like, and
- 43:27Speaker 10: so it really grew our school in enrollment. And you know,
- 43:30Speaker 10: and now you're talking about you know, just a sport
- 43:32Speaker 10: of football that that did.
- 43:33Speaker 5: That for that school.
- 43:34Speaker 10: And then it really hasn't slowed down and stopped since then.
- 43:37Speaker 10: You know, when we made the transition in twenty thirteen
- 43:39Speaker 10: fourteen to go to FBS football in the Sunbelt now
- 43:42Speaker 10: and to want a ton of games there at that
- 43:44Speaker 10: point and so changed the whole landscape of the college
- 43:48Speaker 10: at a app State because of that statue.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Did the statute of him, I'm going to start that
- 43:51Speaker 1: we need to statue of coach at app State.
- 43:53Speaker 4: That's all. Are we going to make that? You?
- 43:55Speaker 8: Oh, I do like plaster of Paris. Do you ever
- 43:58Speaker 8: see that back in our missles and got something?
- 44:00Speaker 1: Did you feel like that you could actually win that
- 44:02Speaker 1: game going up there?
- 44:03Speaker 8: Did you feel like you you matched up well with
- 44:05Speaker 8: that team?
- 44:05Speaker 5: We did? We did?
- 44:06Speaker 10: We We've had we had a lot of speed, you know,
- 44:08Speaker 10: and I think you know the thing that words was
- 44:11Speaker 10: being able to stop them. I mean they had you know,
- 44:13Speaker 10: Mario Manningham, they had the quarterback that's still playing in
- 44:16Speaker 10: the NFL, had Jake Long and left tackle. I mean,
- 44:18Speaker 10: these guys were NFL players, great players, and we ended
- 44:21Speaker 10: up picking them all. I think twice they had through
- 44:23Speaker 10: two picks in the game and kept us in it.
- 44:25Speaker 10: And uh, you know, it came down to the nd.
- 44:27Speaker 10: Our kids made enough place. You know, we made the
- 44:29Speaker 10: field goal and Corey Lynch actually blocked the field goal.
- 44:32Speaker 10: Who played in the NFL as well, played here for
- 44:34Speaker 10: the Bengals, and you know, so yeah, it was just
- 44:36Speaker 10: one of those magical days. And you know, I get
- 44:39Speaker 10: asked about it every every September now.
- 44:41Speaker 1: It's it's the craziest steps that I've ever seen. Yeah,
- 44:43Speaker 1: Like game wise is the craziest. The craziest play I
- 44:45Speaker 1: think I've ever seen is the Auburn Alabama field goal
- 44:48Speaker 1: that didn't And we talked to coach of maleas on too,
- 44:50Speaker 1: and he was just like, I kept looking for a
- 44:52Speaker 1: flag after that block.
- 44:54Speaker 8: Were you looking for a flag or were you just
- 44:57Speaker 8: like that's it ball?
- 44:58Speaker 10: No, we were I was up in the box and
- 45:00Speaker 10: it was no, it was it was over. I mean,
- 45:02Speaker 10: it was stun And then we just walked through the
- 45:04Speaker 10: stands from the press box and everybody really just.
- 45:06Speaker 5: Standing there with their mouths and what did what just happen? Coach?
- 45:09Speaker 3: What's it like to turn on the TV, turn on
- 45:11Speaker 3: the radio and these idiots are criticizing your game plan
- 45:14Speaker 3: or all that, Like what you just kind of like
- 45:17Speaker 3: laugh at that stuff. Or sometimes the speculate on an
- 45:19Speaker 3: injury and then you don't even know what you're talking about.
- 45:22Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean it gets frustrating at times, you know,
- 45:24Speaker 10: because people really they think they know, they don't know,
- 45:27Speaker 10: you know, and you know, and we're sitting here, you know,
- 45:29Speaker 10: our coaching staff and our players were up here all
- 45:31Speaker 10: the time drawing up plays and trying to figure out
- 45:34Speaker 10: scheme to beat the opposing team, and you know, and
- 45:36Speaker 10: then they criticize every play iff it doesn't work, you know,
- 45:39Speaker 10: every single one of them, you know, and then when
- 45:41Speaker 10: it works, I was a great call and it doesn't work.
- 45:42Speaker 10: That was the worst call in the history of the game.
- 45:44Speaker 10: And you know, but so you just got to take
- 45:46Speaker 10: it all in stride. You try not to listen to
- 45:47Speaker 10: any of this stuff. And and now more than ever, you know,
- 45:49Speaker 10: with social media. You know, if you want to find
- 45:51Speaker 10: something bad about you, you know, just click on social media,
- 45:54Speaker 10: you know, and.
- 45:55Speaker 5: You'll find it.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Final two questions, help me understand. I saw uh and
- 45:59Speaker 1: I felt team do it. A couple of college teams
- 46:00Speaker 1: do it.
- 46:01Speaker 8: Fourth and one.
- 46:02Speaker 1: You're in shotgun and you hand the ball to running
- 46:05Speaker 1: back three yards behind the line of scrimmage. I've seen
- 46:08Speaker 1: it stop three times in the past week.
- 46:11Speaker 8: I need help.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that's a dilemma, you know. I get asked
- 46:15Speaker 5: this a lot.
- 46:16Speaker 10: Took the worst shotgun team, although this year we have
- 46:18Speaker 10: going under center and gotten I think four first down.
- 46:21Speaker 8: For six inches.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I know, but they pack their you know,
- 46:24Speaker 1: the thought is spread the defensive line.
- 46:26Speaker 10: But yeah, when they're all up in there. Yeah, you know,
- 46:29Speaker 10: and you're back here handing it off.
- 46:31Speaker 5: It makes it a little bit.
- 46:32Speaker 8: The running back he's just saying it back there, chilling.
- 46:34Speaker 5: That's right.
- 46:35Speaker 10: Well, and then the other thought is okay, if you
- 46:36Speaker 10: have a running quarterback, well okay, you can act like
- 46:39Speaker 10: your hands to the running back and then the quarterback
- 46:41Speaker 10: and go on the edge.
- 46:42Speaker 8: But nobody did that.
- 46:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I know.
- 46:44Speaker 10: And again when it works, it's fine, but when that sucks,
- 46:47Speaker 10: like what are you doing?
- 46:47Speaker 5: You know?
- 46:48Speaker 10: So yeah, you just got you got to get find
- 46:51Speaker 10: a way to get it first down to any which
- 46:52Speaker 10: way you can.
- 46:53Speaker 8: You know, do you do the Jalen Hurts push?
- 46:55Speaker 5: We have, we did it. We've done it.
- 46:56Speaker 10: I think, like I said, four or five times this
- 46:58Speaker 10: year and gotten we've gotten everyone off so far.
- 47:01Speaker 5: Let's just do that. We get it.
- 47:02Speaker 8: I get. I think I saw it five times.
- 47:04Speaker 5: But I saw this weekend he was trying to sneak
- 47:07Speaker 5: it and he didn't get it. Didn't work.
- 47:08Speaker 10: Now, Philadelphia is unbelievable the way they do it. But
- 47:11Speaker 10: but teams have not mastered that like they have.
- 47:13Speaker 8: That are onlineming like right here like you he's quad?
- 47:16Speaker 5: All right?
- 47:16Speaker 1: Final question, coach do you have a play that you've
- 47:19Speaker 1: drawn up that you one day to want to run,
- 47:20Speaker 1: like a super secret trick play that that you haven't
- 47:23Speaker 1: you have to tell us what it is, but that
- 47:24Speaker 1: you haven't done that you're waiting on.
- 47:26Speaker 10: Yeah, we actually do. We have one right now that
- 47:29Speaker 10: I thought maybe we're gonna run it. Last week didn't,
- 47:30Speaker 10: so we were we got it on the ship, but
- 47:32Speaker 10: we're gonna pull it out at some point this year.
- 47:34Speaker 5: We will run it. I've never run this play. I
- 47:36Speaker 5: feel certain it will work.
- 47:37Speaker 8: But I can't really So what's the name of it?
- 47:40Speaker 8: Without saying what formation it's in? Just give us a
- 47:43Speaker 8: nick flower bird.
- 47:44Speaker 5: I like that. We know what that's already gonna work.
- 47:46Speaker 8: We know that for sure.
- 47:47Speaker 1: I like it when he does a summersault throw the backwards.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Did you ever do the play where the player would
- 47:53Speaker 1: come off of the side and like you're jerk, and
- 47:55Speaker 1: then he takes off running as a wide receiver.
- 47:56Speaker 5: Yeah, we have.
- 47:57Speaker 8: Yeah, I've seen that work high school level and college.
- 47:59Speaker 10: And there's no question because it's you know, bad eye control.
- 48:02Speaker 10: They think they're coming off whatever and they relax and
- 48:05Speaker 10: all of a sudden Touchdow.
- 48:07Speaker 3: Coach, where does the firebird come from, like in the shower.
- 48:09Speaker 3: What are you thinking of that?
- 48:11Speaker 5: No?
- 48:11Speaker 3: No, no, no, when when you actually come up with a
- 48:13Speaker 3: place play? Yeah, what are you thinking about in the car?
- 48:15Speaker 5: I mean it could be anywhere.
- 48:16Speaker 10: Yeah, three in the morning when we're not sleeping, or
- 48:19Speaker 10: or you know, maybe you saw somebody else do something somewhere.
- 48:21Speaker 5: You're like, okay, well let's let's tweak it a little
- 48:23Speaker 5: bit and then let's do that.
- 48:25Speaker 8: Will you let us know when you do firebird?
- 48:26Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll let you. Yeah, absolutely, We'll send you to close.
- 48:28Speaker 1: That was for you, Bobby want this is what and
- 48:30Speaker 1: we'll wrap this here. But after you run firebird and
- 48:34Speaker 1: once it works, if you'll just draw it up on
- 48:37Speaker 1: a paper and sign it and send it to me,
- 48:38Speaker 1: I'll frame that and I'll be like I knew about firebird.
- 48:41Speaker 5: We'll do it.
- 48:41Speaker 3: That's for head coach for me. Could you find a
- 48:43Speaker 3: camera and be like no.
- 48:45Speaker 8: To all the kids, just do that, coach.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Congratulations on all your success, just to staying success.
- 48:52Speaker 8: I mean if I.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Would hire you, yeah, well, I appreciate that.
- 48:55Speaker 7: One day I.
- 48:58Speaker 8: Was looking at just do you just how you've been
- 49:01Speaker 8: able to build programs?
- 49:02Speaker 4: You mean you want him on the radio show.
- 49:04Speaker 1: No, I mean did anything like you look at it.
- 49:06Speaker 1: If I were a mom or dad or grandma whomever,
- 49:08Speaker 1: I would look at you as a guy or a
- 49:10Speaker 1: coach who goes in and changes the course the foundation
- 49:15Speaker 1: of a program. Because you've done that everywhere that you've been.
- 49:18Speaker 1: And I'm excited to see Cincinnati, which by the way,
- 49:20Speaker 1: taking a step up at the same time you came
- 49:22Speaker 1: here and now you know they're in the Big twelve.
- 49:24Speaker 1: So congratulations on everything and just a big fan of
- 49:26Speaker 1: you in the program.
- 49:27Speaker 5: I really appreciate that. Thank you for life.
- 49:30Speaker 4: Let's go Firebird.
- 49:38Speaker 8: Now.
- 49:38Speaker 1: This is our interview with Cincinnati defensive lineman Jawan Briggs.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Juwan team captain. He's married, he's got three kids. He
- 49:44Speaker 1: was an under Armour All American in high school. Is
- 49:46Speaker 1: a really great singer. Watch him sing on like CDs daytime.
- 49:48Speaker 1: Pretty amazing what he sings. Yeah, so here we go
- 49:50Speaker 1: Juwan Briggs. Follow him, j O W O N Briggs.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Here he is Juwan Briggs. I feel like one of
- 49:56Speaker 1: the warmest football players I've ever met. Yeah, as soon
- 49:59Speaker 1: as you see him, if you want to be his friend.
- 50:01Speaker 1: But then is there a switch you flip. When it's
- 50:03Speaker 1: kind of like where does the beast come out?
- 50:06Speaker 11: I'd say it's and this is funny, I use this
- 50:09Speaker 11: term to describe coach sad. Actually it's kind of like
- 50:12Speaker 11: controlled intensity, so where you know I might not be
- 50:15Speaker 11: fuming necessarily, as soon as I step and put my
- 50:18Speaker 11: hands on somebody, you'll know that I'm not not as
- 50:21Speaker 11: calm as you think. What do you play for a family?
- 50:24Speaker 11: That's just a number one thing. I think it's a
- 50:26Speaker 11: chip on the shoulder. And it's also a motivator. You know,
- 50:28Speaker 11: a lot of guys have a lot of goals and
- 50:30Speaker 11: a lot of wants, but it's different when you have
- 50:32Speaker 11: something you actually need to do and some people you
- 50:34Speaker 11: actually need to provide for.
- 50:36Speaker 12: Now, I've been married for a couple of years, only
- 50:37Speaker 12: we don't have any kids. You do have kids, so
- 50:41Speaker 12: why should I have a kid?
- 50:42Speaker 11: I say, it's one of the most fulfilling things you
- 50:44Speaker 11: could have cause one thing, one way I look at
- 50:47Speaker 11: it is, you know, just having being able to understand
- 50:50Speaker 11: that you made something, something unique that literally can't be
- 50:54Speaker 11: remade in any way no matter what, even if you
- 50:56Speaker 11: have another kid. You know, it's just the unique of
- 51:00Speaker 11: it and then just the opportunities. I'm just interested to
- 51:02Speaker 11: see how it happens with them.
- 51:05Speaker 12: Are leaving your helmet off with the whole of your guys? No, no, no,
- 51:08Speaker 12: I don't want to know that. No, I'm good.
- 51:09Speaker 2: I mean that.
- 51:13Speaker 12: Now it feel weird.
- 51:15Speaker 11: Man.
- 51:16Speaker 12: So you got your kids can come to the game.
- 51:18Speaker 12: Do they know what dad does?
- 51:20Speaker 13: Though?
- 51:20Speaker 12: They like two and younger?
- 51:22Speaker 13: Right?
- 51:22Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, So my son understands a football part, but
- 51:26Speaker 11: my daughter, she's just here for the loud noise. And
- 51:28Speaker 11: my youngest son's here. I'm he's just along for the ride.
- 51:33Speaker 11: So I mean, other than that, it's all pretty interesting.
- 51:36Speaker 11: I mean, he's getting to understand sports. So it's pretty
- 51:39Speaker 11: fun to see.
- 51:40Speaker 1: You're so well rounded. And I've seen you sing your
- 51:43Speaker 1: freaking great singer. And you know, we work in music
- 51:45Speaker 1: and have worked all different formats and we sing in
- 51:49Speaker 1: a band ourselves. But it's like you're different, Like you're
- 51:51Speaker 1: an athlete, you're a great singer.
- 51:53Speaker 12: Why are you so well rounded?
- 51:54Speaker 1: Who and what were you exposed to that made you
- 51:55Speaker 1: even have curiosity about these other elements.
- 51:57Speaker 11: So I say it starts with my family first of all.
- 51:59Speaker 11: So my parents, their parents, they were all like musicians
- 52:02Speaker 11: in their own right, singing, playing different instruments than I
- 52:05Speaker 11: have four older sisters that were all musicians. Then I
- 52:08Speaker 11: kind of got the trickle down effect, I'd say. And
- 52:10Speaker 11: then also to add onto that, my dad would kind
- 52:13Speaker 11: of always tell me it might sound bad, but you
- 52:15Speaker 11: know it was. It's some good, tough love that I
- 52:17Speaker 11: appreciate now. He would always say enough is not enough.
- 52:20Speaker 11: So that kind of instilled in me the fact that
- 52:22Speaker 11: I'd like to be an collected person. I like to
- 52:25Speaker 11: kind of try to do as much things as I can.
- 52:27Speaker 11: You know, if I'm bad at something, then I'm bad
- 52:28Speaker 11: at it, but at least I tried out to do it.
- 52:30Speaker 7: Uh. You like, how do you do college life?
- 52:34Speaker 3: You get a family man, you're a football player, Like,
- 52:36Speaker 3: do you enjoy college life?
- 52:39Speaker 9: No?
- 52:39Speaker 11: So I actually do enjoy college funnily enough. A lot
- 52:42Speaker 11: of guys just think I'm just kind of, you know,
- 52:43Speaker 11: the boring dad. But yeah, I have a lot of
- 52:46Speaker 11: fun around here. I'm actually in my fraternity as well,
- 52:49Speaker 11: so I have a lot of events that we do
- 52:50Speaker 11: with them, and then a lot of good a lot
- 52:52Speaker 11: of times just hanging out with the d line, kicking
- 52:54Speaker 11: it shoe and the breeze, and you know, when I
- 52:56Speaker 11: have off days and you know, I'll make sure the
- 52:57Speaker 11: kids are asleep, of course, but you know, I stay
- 53:00Speaker 11: the clock on the weekend, you know, coming.
- 53:02Speaker 5: Off a fresh wind.
- 53:03Speaker 11: You know, nice stuff out that was fun, you know,
- 53:05Speaker 11: But I mean it's obviously nothing too crazy, because yeah,
- 53:08Speaker 11: you got to come back home and take care of
- 53:09Speaker 11: those things. At about seven o'clock in the morning.
- 53:11Speaker 1: When you're down you're playing the line in the game,
- 53:15Speaker 1: like are you just shooting for a gap and just
- 53:18Speaker 1: hoping that you hit something in your gap or is
- 53:20Speaker 1: your head up and you're looking for your angle? Is
- 53:23Speaker 1: so difficult for I'm not flexible at all, not much
- 53:26Speaker 1: an athlete anymore. But it's like I just feel like
- 53:28Speaker 1: I would just push forward and beg, what are you
- 53:31Speaker 1: looking for?
- 53:31Speaker 11: So the first thing I would say, you know, even
- 53:33Speaker 11: before I get in the stands, I look at the formation.
- 53:36Speaker 11: And then a lot of times, as much as if
- 53:38Speaker 11: you study enough, you see a formation that you've studied,
- 53:41Speaker 11: you'll know where the play is going. So if the
- 53:43Speaker 11: running back is away from me, I'll say, well, dang,
- 53:45Speaker 11: the play is probably coming this way. That offensive line
- 53:47Speaker 11: is probably gonna step my way. So depending on what
- 53:50Speaker 11: I have to do on that play, whether go forward,
- 53:53Speaker 11: go to the left, or go to the right, I
- 53:54Speaker 11: can then put myself in a good position that way.
- 53:57Speaker 11: So say I know the running back is on the right,
- 54:00Speaker 11: that means the old line is coming to the left.
- 54:02Speaker 11: I'm on the left side, so they're coming to me.
- 54:04Speaker 1: So you'll just go forward and just expect them to
- 54:07Speaker 1: you to be in the right spot. Or will your
- 54:08Speaker 1: head be up in your eyes looking for the ball.
- 54:10Speaker 11: Oh no, my head's up and I'm actually going to
- 54:12Speaker 11: strike a man. So I'll go and strike the old
- 54:15Speaker 11: line coming to me.
- 54:16Speaker 5: That way, I have.
- 54:16Speaker 11: Control of my gap, I have control of my man,
- 54:19Speaker 11: and I'll have to have some good leverage. Then once
- 54:21Speaker 11: the ball finally commits and comes my way or it
- 54:24Speaker 11: goes that way, you know I can finally just get
- 54:25Speaker 11: rid of the guy and then make a play on
- 54:27Speaker 11: the ball.
- 54:27Speaker 1: What's the timing on if you can't get to the quarterback?
- 54:30Speaker 1: Do you wait and jump when he throws? So you
- 54:33Speaker 1: feel like, I know I'm not gonna be able to
- 54:35Speaker 1: get to him in time. Where you just take a
- 54:36Speaker 1: step back and wait for the timent?
- 54:37Speaker 11: Oh no, no, no, that's not no no, yeah, no
- 54:41Speaker 11: question question. I think that's I think that's one of
- 54:44Speaker 11: the one of the things people give misunderstood because a
- 54:47Speaker 11: lot of old linemen are nice. But I'm telling you,
- 54:49Speaker 11: if you go against the gritty old lineman and you
- 54:52Speaker 11: run and then you wait and jump, that guy is
- 54:54Speaker 11: gonna punch you right in the chance while you're in there.
- 54:57Speaker 11: But you're right down, you might not want to get
- 54:59Speaker 11: back up again. So the best thing my coach always
- 55:01Speaker 11: says is just run towards him and match hands, so
- 55:04Speaker 11: matches throwing hand, just trying to get your hand up
- 55:05Speaker 11: in the way. So it kind of ass as a disruptor.
- 55:08Speaker 4: When you've got the open gap and you see a quarterback,
- 55:10Speaker 4: are you feeling.
- 55:11Speaker 5: Like, oh yeah, yeah for sure.
- 55:15Speaker 11: But you got to keep your head on the swivel
- 55:17Speaker 11: though it might be a trap play or it might
- 55:19Speaker 11: be a screen.
- 55:19Speaker 7: So I mean, in those instances, all.
- 55:21Speaker 12: Screen, those depends lone their dummies on that run. A
- 55:26Speaker 12: half back screen quarterback, that's awesome.
- 55:33Speaker 11: You sneak right through, you think you're scott free. Next
- 55:36Speaker 11: to you know, you look back, it's a freaking fifty
- 55:37Speaker 11: yard game on the screen.
- 55:38Speaker 4: What about off sides?
- 55:39Speaker 3: Like what every time you're watching your team, Like, come on, guys, like,
- 55:43Speaker 3: how easy is it to jump off side?
- 55:46Speaker 11: Honest, I'd be honest with you, it's kind of it's
- 55:48Speaker 11: kind of pretty easy to do. It's easy to jump,
- 55:50Speaker 11: and it's easy to line up off sides too, because
- 55:52Speaker 11: I mean, if your helmet is like slightly breaking over
- 55:56Speaker 11: off side.
- 55:56Speaker 12: Are you listening to account or you're watching the ball?
- 55:59Speaker 5: So it all comes film too.
- 56:01Speaker 11: I prefer to just watch the I prefer to watch
- 56:03Speaker 11: the movement of the person in front of me, So
- 56:05Speaker 11: I'll watch that. Uh, some guys, if you're right over
- 56:08Speaker 11: the ball, you can watch the ball. But I mean,
- 56:10Speaker 11: if you watch enough tape and then you see the
- 56:11Speaker 11: tendencies of a quarterback, you'll be able to guess the
- 56:14Speaker 11: snap count as well and be able to get a
- 56:15Speaker 11: jump on.
- 56:15Speaker 12: That five year, ten year, twenty year goals, five year goal.
- 56:20Speaker 11: It's pretty much all the same for me, And I
- 56:22Speaker 11: said this when I was in high school.
- 56:24Speaker 12: Pretty much, make a.
- 56:26Speaker 11: Nice decent sized amount of income to where I can
- 56:29Speaker 11: live comfortably for the remainder of my working life. So
- 56:33Speaker 11: so I'm like sixty five, then I can retire doing
- 56:35Speaker 11: doing what I mean, my degree is My degree is
- 56:39Speaker 11: basically based in computer science, so probably working in computer science,
- 56:44Speaker 11: maybe doing some research. I'd obviously love to pursue music,
- 56:48Speaker 11: but I you know, i'd like to, I don't know
- 56:52Speaker 11: if I have the hav a kahunas to dive all
- 56:54Speaker 11: the way into.
- 56:56Speaker 12: To be definitely got a voice to do that. What
- 56:58Speaker 12: about football?
- 56:59Speaker 7: I mean football, Yeah, that's for sure.
- 57:01Speaker 11: So you know, just having a sizeable income, I mean
- 57:04Speaker 11: that could be a pretty pretty damn sizable income right there.
- 57:06Speaker 11: So we'll see what happens after this year and see
- 57:09Speaker 11: how I do, and you know, see where I place
- 57:11Speaker 11: myself in April. But uh, yeah, you know, my goal
- 57:14Speaker 11: is pretty much stay the same, just make sure I
- 57:16Speaker 11: have a nice amount of income to be able to
- 57:18Speaker 11: provide and live comfortably.
- 57:20Speaker 1: Last question for you, what do you want your kids
- 57:22Speaker 1: to know about their dad?
- 57:24Speaker 11: I want them to know that he's eclectic and that
- 57:28Speaker 11: he loves him very.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Much, and he's warm, and it's like I want to
- 57:31Speaker 1: be his best friend, like I've done for twenty minutes,
- 57:32Speaker 1: and it's like I want to have a picnic.
- 57:34Speaker 12: Right yeah, sure girl, come yes, sir, Thank you very much.
- 57:40Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 57:41Speaker 7: It was fun for sure.

- 59:28Speaker 7: Up, buddy boy? What's up my man? How you doing good?
- 59:31Speaker 2: A little disappointed?
- 59:31Speaker 1: I was watching Baylor in Auburn and and I'll just
- 59:34Speaker 1: be honest I've got a bunch money on on Auburn,
- 59:37Speaker 1: and it was like Baylor just hung around long enough
- 59:40Speaker 1: to like four minutes left in the second half and
- 59:42Speaker 1: then just took over.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Do we expect Auburn to not be that good this year?
- 59:46Speaker 7: Well, they they brought back a big man, Jeni Broom,
- 59:50Speaker 7: who is a heck of a player, and they're looking
- 59:54Speaker 7: for the next guy to be able to take control
- 59:58Speaker 7: of their offense. Typically, brut Pearl's teams have a strong backcourt,
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: a strong creative experience guard. This year, he's good a kid,
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: he's a freshman, Aiden Holloways he saw last night. Actually
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: it was a couple of good freshmen. The kid Walton
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: for Baylor is a heck of a player. But I
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: think with Auburn, they're athletic, their energetic, great effort, they
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: like to get out and run. They get a lot
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: of depth, so depth and defense, as coach fran Fraschilla
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: called it last night, I think that's going to be
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: the calling card. So Auburn is in will always be
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: a tough out. That was a great opening night game
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: for Bruce Pearl and Scott Drew. You see, not a
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: lot of coaches want to engage in that type of
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: a game. But I think it's a great learning experience.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: Now it goes a long way in terms of you know,
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: when you start put together your resume at NCAA tournament,
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: you're like, well, we got a big win against Auburn
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: or Baylor. So these are important games. They really are
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: early on. But also so you can take that and
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: and it's a it's a great measurement of where your
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: team is at. So it's not a lot of teams
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: like to do that. So I tip my cap to
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: those guys because even they got Bobby Bones on a
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: on a Tuesday night watching games in November. Ye, well
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: you're usually preparing for football.
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: Hey, I hear you. But there I was betting on it,
- 1:01:20Speaker 8: so you know.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: And also I'll just bet the SEC if it's in Baylor.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: To me, I guess I just feel like they're not
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: the Baylor of the last few years. And so I thought,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: here's Auburn, who's always tough, and here's Baylor. I don't know,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I think there were like twentieth, maybe the ranked twentieth
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: before the new rankings come out. Is Baylor better than
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: we thought or is just Auburn? Just so young, it's
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: gonna take him a second.
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: I think there's two things. So Baylor had an incredible
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: turnover as well, and they they I think they brought
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: back just one starter from last year. And you know
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: that program, Scott drew what they've been excellent as he's
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: always been good it transferred total stuff, but he's also
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: been really good at getting guys in the program and
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: being able to develop them. So this was a whole
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: new aspect for him as well. And Baylor's got great
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: depth to So both teams sort of are in that
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: transition period. But that's college basketball. That is college basketball
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: right now is how do you manage a new roster.
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: Most teams have all new rosters. The ones who don't
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: have a new roster Tennessee, Michigan State, Purdue, and you see,
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: those are the teams that are projected to go deep
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: in the tournament. But I think both both Baylor and
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: Auburn were in similar situations where they had one or
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: two guys from previous seasons come in. Both had a
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: stud freshman to come in, and both played really well
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: last night Walton and Holloway. But that's just the state
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: of how you have to be prepared to coach and
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: college basketball. Now.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I was hanging out with a guy who's a massive
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Kentucky fan when I was in California, so we kind
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: of had this bond. He had a Kentucky shirt on
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: and he was like, aren't you big Arkansas fans?
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: So we're hanging out and he said, this is our year.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: But I kind of feel like Kentucky fans or like
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: Dallas Cowboy fans.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Where every year is their year. I just Cal Party
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: can't even win in the tournament. It's been a really
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: bad run. Is there any chance one that Cali Party
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: isn't there after this year? If they don't have some
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: postseason success and then two is it their year?
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: Well? It is their year every year because they have
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: the ability. Again, college sports different with the NFL salary cap.
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: College sports you can bring in five stars, five stars,
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: thinking Nick Saban, he's got five stars backing up five stars. Okay,
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: that's the kind of depth he has, and that's what
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: college sports allows you to do. But with Kentucky, yes,
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: I understand that Coach cal and the expectations of Kentucky's
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: Final four compete. You know, they compete for a national
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: championship every year. But you've got to get to the
- 1:03:56Speaker 7: final four or every couple of years. But you consider,
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: you know, the year COVID hit. The year COVID hit,
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: they had a legit chance, legit roster to go to
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: the national championship, win a national championship game. You take
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: that away from him. Next year comes in, it's a
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: whole new roster for him. He's got young guys. Those
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: guys did not take well to the to the everything
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: that was changing during that COVID year. It was tough
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: to practice. They don't make the tournament. Then what happens
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: is the next year. You know, you look back at
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: a couple of years ago, they lose to that Saint
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: Peter's team. So I'm not giving excuses, but they were
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: a two seed when they lost to fifteen seed Saint Peter's. Again,
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: you shouldn't lose that game. But you're a two seed
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: NCAA tournament, that means you're a top you know, that's
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: a top eight right there. So I look at this
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: year's team. They got the number one recruiting class. They've
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: got you know, I mean four or five NBA guys,
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: very young NBA guys on their team. Okay, So they
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: have a chance. The two most important guys Kentucky this
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: year are going to be the shooter that they brought back,
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: Antonio Reeves and the transfer Trey Mitchell, who's a fourth
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: fifth year college basketball guy. Those veteran guys have got
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: to figure out how to work with the young guys because,
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: as you know, there is no way to gain experience
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: unless you go through it. And so those guys have
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: got to help the youngins who are very talented, get
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: ready for the SEC play, which is the SEC from
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: top to bottom is probably the deepest and toughest league
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: from top to bottom. Now they don't have as many,
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: you know, du because the national championship finalists Purdue, Kansas,
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: Michigan State. You know, Tennessee. You can throw in there,
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: Arkansas after what people have seen recently from them. So
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: but I think top to bottom thisc's the toughest.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Is Tennessee, in your mind, the best team in the SEC.
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: Haha. So it's like one, A, B and C Tennessee.
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: People forget about Texas, A and M in Arkansas, but
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: Tennessee they are always going to be top three in
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: the country in defense always and what does that give you?
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: You are in every game. You have a chance to
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: compete in every game. It's not like some teams who
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: are just average defensively, because you know, now the opposing
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: team can score whenever they want. Now, it all just
- 1:06:22Speaker 7: depends on can we make buckets? Tennessee. Because they're so
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: good defensively, they're gonna be able to control part of
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: the game. The issue with them is they've been inconsistent offensively.
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: Coach Rick Barnes goes out, he recruits a couple of
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: great scorers and great shooters. That's what everybody wants to do.
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: That's a beauty of the transfer portal. We can go
- 1:06:43Speaker 7: free agency, grab a shooter. We need somebody who can
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: run the team. The question is can these guys transition
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: in their first year to making shots, scoring and be
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: consistent Tennessee. They've got the roster for it. The production
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: side of it. We saw last year they had some
- 1:07:02Speaker 7: big offensive games and then sometimes it went to put nowhere.
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: They couldn't make a bucket. So just be consistency in
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: offense and they're as good as anyone in the country.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Do you feel like Rick Barnes has a bit of
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: the Kentucky's new association with they just aren't doing it
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: at the end because Rick Barnes, he's known to put
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: great teams in the tournament and then they tend to
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: peter out, although recently maybe not as bad as it
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: used to be. But do you think he still has
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: that kind of monkey on his back?
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: Well, there's no doubt. There's no doubt. You know, obviously
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: he And the reason why that is a discussion is
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: because he is consistently either winning the league or coming
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: in the top two in the league, so he's always there.
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: Consistently throughout the season, they're there, but the tournament is
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: a different animal. It's like, you know, as college basketball
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: fans and as a fan of sports, we love March madness. Right,
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: there is nothing March madness.
- 1:08:00Speaker 12: Nothing.
- 1:08:01Speaker 7: However, with March madness, you lose the accomplishments of the
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: regular season. You forget that Tennessee wins the league and
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: if they lose by one or one possession in the
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: second round, then it's like, oh, that season wasn't wasn't
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: worth anything. But you know that's really not the truth.
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: But you're right, and I think a lot of it
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: has to do with Tennessee and they've built obviously defensively,
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: he's gonna teach, he's going to coach. They're going to
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: give you that. I just think when they do have
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: the tendency to have an off night offensively, that is
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: what bites them and all you get it. It's just
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: gonna be one bad night on offense in the tournament, Bobby,
- 1:08:43Speaker 7: I don't care who you're playing, one bad offensive night
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: and you're done. You knocked out seasons over. That's what's
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: dangerous about the tournament.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: When you were playing and you made almost four hundred
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: and three pointers at the collegiate level, did you ever
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: have an eye I want I want to two versions
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: that it seemed like the rim was ten feet wide
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: and you felt like you just couldn't miss, like one
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: of those in the zone nights. Did you ever have
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: one where like, what is your worst shooting night that
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: you can remember?
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: So I can answer this? In one game so coincidentally
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: or ironically, I don't know if I'm using that word correctly.
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: I made the most threes I ever made in a game.
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: I made ten in one game, And in that same game,
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: I missed the most threes I ever missed in a game,
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: which was fourteen. I went ten of twenty four in
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: one game. Now, most teams, you look at the box
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: scorers from last night, most teams aren't shooting that many
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: from three point even in today's game. But coach Nolan
- 1:09:48Speaker 7: Richardson had gotten ejected in the first half, which then
- 1:09:52Speaker 7: gave me the green light to just fire away, fire away,
- 1:09:55Speaker 7: And we were playing the team. We were playing packed
- 1:09:58Speaker 7: in the zone because we were a lot more athletic
- 1:10:00Speaker 7: in them, So I just keep chunking up. So to
- 1:10:02Speaker 7: answer your question, it was, it was, it was both.
- 1:10:05Speaker 7: It was the same game. It was like I was
- 1:10:08Speaker 7: feeling it and then you know, I had missed four
- 1:10:11Speaker 7: in a row, and then I'd make four in a row,
- 1:10:13Speaker 7: and then I missed five in a row. Then I
- 1:10:14Speaker 7: missed three and then make three in a row. So
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: the same night, it is my riches and it was
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: the best shooting night in the worst shooting night.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Shoot or shoot obviously, do you ever do you ever
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: miss four or five or six and then be like, man,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: I just don't have it?
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: Or was your confidence always there?
- 1:10:29Speaker 7: You know what it is? You after you miss two
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: in a row, it becomes like you become not not angry,
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: but you become determined. And stubborn. That's one of the
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: things that I always say, and I'm sure everybody can
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: relate to this. The things that make you good at
- 1:10:47Speaker 7: something are also some of the things that kind of
- 1:10:49Speaker 7: hurt you. So I was very stubborn. So I needed
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: to make keep shooting to make the next one because
- 1:10:59Speaker 7: I couldn't not finish the game or even when I
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: was working on finished the workout on a miss. So
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: if I missed two in a row, I had to
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: shoot the next one immediately so that I can I
- 1:11:11Speaker 7: had to make it and kind of clear my mind
- 1:11:14Speaker 7: of missing two in a row. But uh so that, yeah,
- 1:11:18Speaker 7: that was the mentality. You just got to keep shooting
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: because you don't want to ever end on a miss.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: You ever have a night where you're missing, or you
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: can be hitting and a teammate goes, you know, pat chill, dude, like,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: let don't shoot every time you get the ball.
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: Kareem Reid used to tell me that all the time
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: Little Point got from the Bronx and he he would
- 1:11:39Speaker 7: he would give me the look, he would he would yell,
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: he would he would say, he would say anything to me.
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: We had that kind of relationship where you know, we
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: cuss each other out, and but he got his point across,
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: and he was right most of the time.
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: He was right.
- 1:11:55Speaker 7: When I would just catch it, I was almost like
- 1:11:58Speaker 7: a I was not even and it was just like
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: a reaction everything. I'd just catch it and shoot it,
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: and everybody be looking like, can we just at least
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: try to run a play before you jack it up?
- 1:12:08Speaker 7: Like okay and the shot clock. When we don't have
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: a shot, maybe jack it up, but just let us
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: run a play first and see if we can get
- 1:12:15Speaker 7: an easy bucket.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: Funny Eddie, Yeah, Pat.
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: So like these early season games, you know where you
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: have LSU playing Pecan Valley and you know they score
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: one hundred and ten. You know, like, isn't an accolade
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: for these teams to score over one hundred because as
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: a fan, you're like, come on, let's go lay it
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: on them.
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: Oh, there's no doubt. These are the games where you
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: can pad your stats, especially early on in the season,
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: because you know, you you you start, you have opening Night,
- 1:12:43Speaker 7: you get twenty. Now that that establishes you to have,
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: you know, build up on you know, next game, maybe
- 1:12:51Speaker 7: get seventeen and then fifteen. Now your point per game
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: average is high, and the ability to put up numbers,
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: and the other thing too with scheduling, you know, the
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: like the teams you're talking about, it's about building the
- 1:13:04Speaker 7: confidence for the team, obviously, I think for the fans,
- 1:13:08Speaker 7: and then the coaches want to get as many w's
- 1:13:11Speaker 7: under their belt to start the season as possible, especially
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: opening night. I mean that's just important for the fan
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: base and the coaches, and so yeah, they want to
- 1:13:22Speaker 7: run up the run it up as much as they can,
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: because even the guys in the bench, you don't know
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: when you're going to your next opportunity is going to
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: come to get in the game and score.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Two final questions one Arkansas you mentioned them. Obviously massive fan,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: both of us. It's got to be tough to be
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: an analyst and just analyze without your heart.
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: So analyze without your heart.
- 1:13:44Speaker 7: This year's Zorback I would say that they are. It's
- 1:13:49Speaker 7: a whole new team. So the challenge is going to
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: be and coach Muscleman is he deals a lot with
- 1:13:55Speaker 7: the transfer portals, So the challenge is going to be
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: figuring out which eight nine guys that you're gonna settle on.
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: And one of the things that they don't have is
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: I would say a true post presence. They've got, you know,
- 1:14:13Speaker 7: six ' ten, six ' nine, six ten, but they
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: don't have like a back to the basket thrown in
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: a post kind of guy. Which is fine because what
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: they have is a collection of perimeter guys who can
- 1:14:26Speaker 7: attack the basket, motion offense guys, dribble drive either they
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: finish at the rim, dribble drive, draw the defense in
- 1:14:33Speaker 7: kick out for three. That's what they have. But their
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: strength is the perimeter in the backcurt rather than that big,
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: traditional big guy. Now with that being said, I don't
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: know if you got you know, they played Perdue. Arkansas
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: played Purdue in an exhibition game, and they played against
- 1:14:50Speaker 7: Purdue seven foot four national player of the year Zach Eadie,
- 1:14:55Speaker 7: and so they were able to you know, no one's
- 1:14:57Speaker 7: going to stop this guy. He is a mountain of
- 1:14:59Speaker 7: a man, but they were able to at least battle
- 1:15:03Speaker 7: with him. So they've got enough length and strength and
- 1:15:05Speaker 7: athleticism to battle in the paint. So I would say
- 1:15:08Speaker 7: that would probably be the biggest thing is that interior,
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: whether it be protecting the rim or finishing at the rim.
- 1:15:15Speaker 7: But they play with great energy, great effort. Coach Musk
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: has a great perimeter. Guy's great length. And one thing
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: that they improved from last season, and coach must wanted
- 1:15:28Speaker 7: to he recruited. He wanted to recruit shooting. They got
- 1:15:32Speaker 7: much better shooters this year. There's five to six guys
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: that can knock down threes this year, which hasn't been
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: the case for the last couple of seasons.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: Can you still fill it up?
- 1:15:41Speaker 7: That's all I can do. I can't run, I can't jump.
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: I just sit there. I just sit there like this.
- 1:15:48Speaker 7: I try to make about one hundred and twenty five
- 1:15:50Speaker 7: a day.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: Still, where are you going to shoot every day?
- 1:15:55Speaker 7: Well, that's a big controversy, Bobby, because one of the
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: jam that I went to, we had two full court
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: basketball courts, two full courts, so there was always a
- 1:16:07Speaker 7: net to shoot at. And then I didn't come in
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: one time and they've made one of them a pickleball court.
- 1:16:13Speaker 7: I know, what, how are you going to take away
- 1:16:16Speaker 7: my basketball for a pickleball court? So now there's like,
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: you know, you can't get an empty hoop nowadays. So
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: I'll sometimes I'll go down to the park, you know,
- 1:16:26Speaker 7: go down to the blacktop, old school style sometimes I'll
- 1:16:31Speaker 7: find a gym where I can get in or you know,
- 1:16:34Speaker 7: you know I used to sneak into the gym. I'm
- 1:16:36Speaker 7: a master of sneaking into all kinds of arenas. There's
- 1:16:42Speaker 7: one thing I know how to get into a locked arena,
- 1:16:46Speaker 7: a locked basketball arena to shoot around. That's one of
- 1:16:49Speaker 7: my skills.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Do you ever run fives at all?
- 1:16:51Speaker 8: Now?
- 1:16:52Speaker 7: No, last time I did, I busted my knee. You know,
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: I got to cut on my head. It just isn't
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: worth it anymore.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I would that would be so fun to watch like
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Pat just not not even say he played ball. Ever,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, you guys might have a hop in
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: And then just how tall are Pat?
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: How tall are you?
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: Uh?
- 1:17:10Speaker 7: Six two six to so, so.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: He's not so tall that you would go this guy
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: for sure played at an elite level. And then just
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: watch him just bucket after bucket unless he can't run,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: And then I'm like, oh, why did I come?
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: He can't even run?
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Okay, So you guys follow Pat on Twitter and Instagram
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: at Pat Bradley twenty two. SEC Network does a great
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: job in studio and even calling games. I love to

- 1:18:02Speaker 4: Nice man, this is such good stuff they have.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Yeah, they didn't pay to say this, but yeah, no, no,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: no I'm not saying it because cut.

- 1:18:11Speaker 8: They do good.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Charlie Hustle has said it's our TCU gear, and they have,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: you know, a bunch of teams that they have licenses with,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: and a lot of their stuff is like retro old.
- 1:18:22Speaker 4: Yeah that's what I like about it.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Some of the stuff is obviously knew, but like you
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: had a b YU shirt that was like National Champions
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: I teen eighty fourth.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: Yeah, they do a lot of cool stuff.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: So you guys check out what is the website where
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: we put our stuff Charlie Hustle dot com, slash Bobby Bones.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: Yep. That's so.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: They have a lot of teams, but the teams that
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: we go to and a lot of the college stuff
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: is up there. Charlie Hustles Charlie Hustle dot com slash
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Bobby Bones.
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: Do they do NFL teams as well?
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: They're the chiefs.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: That's it, because I'm looking for a good haven't. I
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: don't know if they have license deal with cowboys check.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I hope you guys have a great weekend. Eddie grabbed
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: this some some.
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: Of the stuff.
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: Thank you man.
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: And then I don't know you guys.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: I hope you all miss all your NFL games unless
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I picked them with you go arkansasll beat.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: Auburn and I don't know.
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: Promises, oh our promises, let me get it.
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: Come on.
- 1:19:07Speaker 9: Also, Bobby, I was gonna tell you last night. I sucks.
- 1:19:11Speaker 9: I am the king of not cashing out.
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: No, no, no, say what you said. I'm an idiot.
- 1:19:16Speaker 13: I'm an idiot. I am an idiot. I placed a
- 1:19:18Speaker 13: fifty dollars bet on a three leg parlay these no
- 1:19:21Speaker 13: name college teams and my cash out was eleven hundred
- 1:19:23Speaker 13: and I didn't cash out.
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Oh my god, I did get it. Was that three
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: game and you got to eleven hundred.
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: You have like, yeah the underdog money logs.
- 1:19:31Speaker 13: Yeah, two hunderdogs and they ended up smoking the other team.
- 1:19:34Speaker 9: One of them was a plus eighteen hundred.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 1:19:37Speaker 9: And I didn't cash out.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: You lose by one one bett?
- 1:19:41Speaker 9: Yeah it was.
- 1:19:41Speaker 13: And it was like the like a minus one twenty
- 1:19:44Speaker 13: was the odds and it lost. They were supposed to
- 1:19:46Speaker 13: win by eighteen and they won by fourteen.
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: I think, did I tell you that?
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Me?
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: I won a football game last night? I about likenine
- 1:19:52Speaker 6: hundred bucks on a football game action. Yeah, I like Toledo,
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: I like.
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: The maxon.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Me.
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: Reid and Kevin did a five dollars each and we
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: did how many games? Twelve twelve games and we missed
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: two oh out of the twelve that was to win
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: like forty five thousand.
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: Got that. Oh my gosh, I thought we're gonna win it.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: I bet nine hundred and thirty dollars on the Bowling
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Green Kent State game last night.
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: Oh great game, man, great game.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Well no, no, no, before you start going, I can't
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: believe you did that. Bowling Green is a was minus
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: three eighty, big favorite, and I bet nine hundred thirty
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: bucks on the Bowling Green money line. It's all won
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: like totter bucks. Oh okay, yeah, so it was it. Okay, okay, okay,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: it's safe safeish.
- 1:20:37Speaker 6: You had one of those last weekend too.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: If I've seen a team and I and they're also
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: getting great, and I'm like they're good and they're here
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: for huge jobs, I'll bet them you watched Bowling Green before, Yeah,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: because all those nights, not that I got confused. Western
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Kentucky's in bowling Green. Yeah, but Bowling Green is not
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: in Bowling Green.
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: Correct.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: It was one of those things you got it earlier
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: in the year. So oh yeah, I did that. But
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I have let me find it here open. Oh we
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: need to our promises. Yeah, don't forget. I have an
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: Eagles Super Bowl championship where I bet three hundred fifty
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: bucks for thirty one hundred dollars and they're now giving
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: me a cash out over my ticket price for the
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: first time. It no, it's three fifty six. It I
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: bet three fifty. I do have know what at Baltimore Ravens.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: I have Baltimore Ravens Future tw hundred fifty bucks for
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: thirty seven hundred dollars.
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: Leave that one in there. That's a good one.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: I can make a little money on that one now,
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: but only let's say.
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: Pay each other.
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: Then you're good win win.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: I have the Cowboys, but that's not doing great. And
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: then we have the Saints as a morning show. They're
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: twelve of us put in fifty bucks, so we put
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: in six hundred dollars. If we hit that one, it's
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: eighteen thousand, six hundred dollars over done.
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: I'm quitting.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: But the thing is they might win their division just
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: getting the dance. Getting the dance, because the dance is easy.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Getting the dance.
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: Okay, Once you're in the dance, you can tango.
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: Do your promises.
- 1:22:04Speaker 5: Read.
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: I'm gonna go Cowboys minus sixteen and a half.
- 1:22:07Speaker 13: It's gonna be tough, but I want that game to
- 1:22:09Speaker 13: be fun when we go, and so I'm gonna be
- 1:22:12Speaker 13: rooting for him real hard.
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: Did we add a half to that?
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:22:14Speaker 9: I think so.
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: No, Eddie man Bones, I don't know, reads an idiot.
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: I don't want to fall, so I'm gonna go the same.
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: Yeah, Cowboys.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Cash out on eleven hundred Read what was that? I
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: know it was the payout if you would.
